    I have sleep apnea and sleeping at a slightly elevated posture even with the sleep apnea machine helps the way I sleep. The Sleep Number bed was the only bed that could separate the differences between the types of bed and it was something that my wife may use so we purchased one with the split elevation. It took a while to get the bed but the delivery team was quick and set everything up. They were polite and on time. The product was expensive but it would be nice if they had included a skirt frame for it as they're relatively inexpensive. I know because I wound up building one myself. I have no problem recommending the bed. This is the bed that I'm usually telling people about when I meet people who have the same condition I have.

    Super excited to receive the bed last year. Took a few nights to get used to it but over the year the bed has lost its luster. We slept great for about two months but now it is just super uncomfortable and very stiff no matter the sleep number. Nevertheless we are now stuck with an $8000 bed that we no longer enjoy.

    Sleep Number serves me well. We had bought one before, so this is our second. I've slept well on both of them but my wife was having a hard time with the first one. It was made out of different stuff but on this new one, she sleeps a lot better. Also, this new one is a lot lighter and its panels on the sides seem to be a lot better. I'd recommend Sleep Number to anybody.

    We don't really buy things quickly, but we bought Sleep Number in our first visit. The salesman was very nice to a couple of old folks. He was very good at explaining things to us and that means a lot. It was a good experience. And the delivery team was very nice and very helpful too. My husband was here and he said it took them an hour to set the bed up then, they had to wait for me for a little while because they had questions for me. I was satisfied with the service and I like the bed a lot. But my husband thinks it's not as firm as it was so I have to go back to the store to see if there's anything I don't know and if sometimes the air gets less in it. I'd expect good service.

    I was happy with my Sleep Number bed. My experience with the sales and delivery people went all right. However, for some reason, we couldn't return the sheets to the store. We have to send them into Sleep Number through the mail so it's more of a hassle than anything. Other than that it was a great experience.

    I sold a queen-size Sleep Number for 300 bucks to get rid of it. It's a dual bladder which is a major pain in the butt. I fall in the middle all the time so I put foam in there so I wouldn’t fall but then the foam gets worked loose. So I was rolling towards that cavern in the middle. Both my adult kids and I had that complaint and my daughter got rid of her bed, too. And I thought I was gonna have to have hip replacement surgery. My hip would hurt so bad.

    I then got a regular mattress and that didn’t work so now I'm back to a waterbed and so my hip doesn’t hurt anymore. I didn’t think to ask if there was a Sleep Number single bladder bed and I was just so mad because I've spent a little over $4,000 for three beds and my son was the only one that could tolerate it. So I didn’t buy another Sleep Number and went back to a waterbed. However when I bought my son his second Sleep Number, I bought it with one bladder and my son says it's perfect.

    I was talking to him the other day about his bed and he said he couldn’t figure out why his back started hurting and he gets numbness in his legs when his back starts hurting. When he moved the bed from the shop to the house, he didn’t totally dismantle it. He said they just lifted it up and moved it intact and that maybe he sprang a leak. He looked at his remote and it said the pressure was at 35. Once he got it jacked up to a 50 then everything smoothed out and that in the past two nights he's been able to sleep eight hours instead of waking up every couple of hours.

    He has a bad back, blown out discs and vertebrae, so the Sleep Number bed is the only thing he can sleep on. He says it's like sleeping on a waterbed. It's enough firmness. But the Sleep Number is better than a waterbed because I can adjust it. I can take a hose and fill the waterbed up or drain some of the water out but it's not as convenient as the Sleep Number. Now if I have the opportunity, I'd get a special order single bladder Sleep Number bed. I was very dissatisfied with my dual bladder Sleep Number bed but I would recommend it if I'd had a single bladder.

    The Sleep Number seemed comfortable and we wanted to try it out. The salespeople were knowledgeable and they had us lie on the bed, showed us how to move up and down and how to adjust the firmness of it. We ended with an adjustable king which is two twins that were pushed together. We also got the bedding and stuff with it. The one thing that I didn't like, though, was the salespeople told us that the mattresses would not separate and would stay next to each other, but they don’t. We're always having to move our mattress trying to get it closer together, so there's not a great big valley there. We're not real happy about that, but otherwise it's a comfortable bed. It took us a while to get used to it from our Tempur-Pedic, but we're pretty used to it now.

    All the sales reps that I dealt with did a great job, so with the installation team that came in. The only thing that I thought was odd was when they had to get my password off my wifi modem, and they put it in their phone to get the little app thing going. And I'm thinking maybe there's a better way to do that. But other than that, we love the bed. I get a lot better sleep with Sleep Number. We tell people about it when they come over to the house. It's very nice and we just enjoy the whole thing.

    I have a variety of medical conditions that make it difficult to sleep in an ordinary bed. And for years I was sleeping in a remote-controlled recliner. I decided to see what was out there and Sleep Number was the first place I started to look. The store that I went to is in Victor, New York. It's the only local store and it was about a half an hour drive for me. There should be more locations either in the outlying areas or in the city proper. Nevertheless, I was very impressed so I ended up getting the Sleep Number bed and I’ve never looked back.

    The rep was very nice and she didn’t oversell me. She asked how tall I was at one point because some of the beds are shorter than others. We started out on one bed and it was way too hard or too high and we ended up with the one that I eventually bought. Then she was trying to set me up with the appropriate bedclothes, the right pillow, the sheets and comforters. I bought a pillow and I loved it. I also got the lyocell sheets which are wonderful and I've never seen anything like that in that type of material. Then the sheets feel cool to the touch but it holds my body heat in so that I don't get cold during the night.

    Unfortunately, it didn’t turn out to be an immediate transition from chair to bed. If I sleep on my back too long, it gets as stiff as a board when I finally get up. Sometimes I get up in the middle of the night and have to go to the bathroom, and I couldn’t bend enough to get to the bathroom in time. I never had that problem in the chair. Over time, I gravitated to sleeping on my side in the bed for a few hours, wake up, do the bathroom thing, and then go to the chair in the living room so that I can sleep on my back for a few hours. Then I get up in the morning and I’m fine and hunky-dory. I’m slowly trying to get to the point where it’s the bed all night but I haven’t got there yet. But that is not a Sleep Number bed problem. It’s my problem and that’s the solution that I’ve come up with. I have recommended Sleep Number and since they gave me a coupon to bring somebody in, I gave it to him and he did check it out and he was very interested.

    The Sleep Number bed has been relatively good. But the mattress pad sucks. It has ripped down the center. But it's still under warranty and I haven't made contact with the company. The bed was actually gotten for me because I have fibromyalgia and had a major surgery that required six months of bed rest. We bought the Sleep Number that you can adjust the head and the feet.

    The sales guy was amazing. We were in the store for six different times before we bought the bed. He never got frustrated. I also have a brain tumor so my memory is short. So, when I moved out of ex's house and finally moved the bed over here, I couldn't remember my Sleep Number. I went back to the store and the sales guy basically walked me through it all over again. The people who moved the bed for me were also amazing, but it was a little expensive. The original delivery was delayed but that was not their fault because we were in the middle of a huge snow storm. But they called me, and let me know what was going on. They showed up the next morning, as soon as the roads were plowed.

    I've had the Sleep Number for a year now and never had any issues with it aside from the fact that the cats seem to unplug it underneath. It'd be great to have the ability to lock that in so the cats that cross the bed can't unplug it. Also, a lot of the products are really expensive like the sheets. And after you buy the bed, you're never offered discounts on future purchases. It's kept me from buying two more beds for my children. But the quality of the bed is amazing, and I've recommended Sleep Number to absolutely everybody.

    We had a Sleep Number bed many years ago, and went to a different competitor product. We're happy with that for a while, and decided to go back to Sleep Number. We also purchased the pillows and my wife is very happy with them. The sales rep are generally polite but one whom we had to deal with on several occasions was extremely incompetent. The order initially took several months before we tried to figure out what was going on? We found out that it had been delivered to our old house in a different city because the person that processed the order, even though we told him several times about the address and everything else, was also not computer literate, and he sent the bed to our old house. He tried to blame us for the problem.

    Then we got into war with their customer service and we finally got the order replaced. We were wanting and promised some kind of benefit for the inconvenience. We finally got a pair of sheets out of the deal and waived shipping cost. I was extremely unhappy with the way that your national customer service treated us. The store manager was pleasant to deal with. Although, she was unable to approve what she said she could approve. Meanwhile, this gentleman is still half blind and completely incompetent and we had to deal with him again when we ordered a second pair of extra-long twin beds. Not only did he manage to screw things up the second time he also gave us the invoice from a different Sleep Number customer, including all of her personal and credit card information.

    So we went and complained again, and that fell on deaf ears. Corporate office did nothing to help out with that so I really feel that it is the absolute worst customer experience I could expect. We still wanted to have more discount as promised but was never delivered upon. I'm still annoyed at the company and still feel that I'm owed something, other than a lot of grief that was given to me.

    Sleep Number was something different and wasn't mainstream. I'm very pleased with it. The salespeople were very informative. They let us try out everything and there was no pressure to buying any particular product. And the delivery team were good guys. They set the bed up and they were gone in less than an hour. It was an okay experience. And the quality of the product is fine. Except I don't like the way the bedding doesn't work with the bed very well. I got it because I assumed I had to and keeping it on the bed is next to impossible. But I'm definitely sleeping better than I used to. So, nothing negative to say about it. It was okay 'till it quit working. Right now, the remote doesn't work and I can't get the bed to go up and down.

    I just graduated from college and I'm a nurse so I knew that sleep is important. And so, I was looking at different beds across the spectrum but had been very impressed with the customer service and the quality of product at Sleep Number. So I went to a store in Auburn, Alabama and talked with the consultant. I wasn't intending on buying the full bed and the whole shebang that day, but I got it all accomplished and it's been really nice. I love my Sleep Number. I also bought the bed sheets and that was the only thing I purchased with my bed because at the time, I have already purchased pillows. I got the grey and the cobalt blue sheets and I also love them. I like the colors and the way that they fit the bed with the extra strap that holds them onto the mattress.

    I had a little bit of a problem with my hoses in the back part of my mattress when I first got it. It was a month and a half in and I thought it was kind of normal. I didn't know how Sleep Numbers really worked in the real world and when I called in to customer service, they said, "Oh, no. That's no problem." And they came out and fixed it and it was no big deal. I have recommended them.

    I've got bad lungs and I wanted my head raised up like a hospital bed. So, I tried Sleep Number beds and tried to see what one of them cost and it was outrageous. I went to a depot in a mall and they had it with three months interest-free so I tried one up there and it was good. But when I got it set up, it's a whole different horse of a different color. Right now, we've got a big old memory foam mattress on top of it, of which I wasted $5,200 for. I have no way I can set that bed to be comfortable. If my head is lying down, my lungs will fill up with fluids so I have to keep my head raised up a bit. But whenever I raise it up, I slide down in the bed and I have to go crawling back up. I've tried letting it down just enough to keep my head tilted up, but I slide down. So, I raise the foot up and try to stop from sliding down in the bed, and it hurts my heels. Ever since I paid them, they don’t care since they got what they were after. I'd love to have my $5,200 back.

    We've had a Sleep Number in our home since 2008, and the one that we have now is our second. I hated the first bed. I tried to get my perfect number and also tried to return the bed, but Sleep Number wouldn't do it. I like the second one better and got a couple of grand off of it from a deal from a home show, but I still think Sleep Number is too expensive and there are better products for your money. They have the lifetime warranty but it doesn't mean anything because it has a lot of stipulations. I also still have a lot of problems with the mattress and I'm thinking about getting a Tempur-Pedic to put on top of it. My husband loves the bed, so we're total opposites. Customer service-wise, the people were all great and super nice.

    I was having surgery and they said it would be easier if I had a bed that would elevate me so I went with Sleep Number. The delivery was fine. We had to warranty the outside part of the mattress because it was stalling after six months, and it looks like it's doing it again. It's a split king and it's like the Grand Canyon between the two mattresses and it seems another body can be fit between them. Also, it looks like a 25-year old mattress since it looks saggy and hanging off the sides already.

    We are two different-sized people sleeping on the bed and to get it comfortable for both of us because I like mine softer and he likes his harder, we thought the Sleep Number would be our best bet for a win-win situation. We've had our Sleep Number for about a year now and I'm liking it because if it is too soft I can firm it up a little bit. My husband seems to like it, too.

    It was my daughter and I who went and looked at the beds they had at the store. We tried out three or four different ones and finally decided on the one that we did. The reps told us the good about them and how to operate the bed and wanted to know what kind of a frame we were gonna put it on or what we needed to know about it. We didn't have a frame for it, so we got the frame that came with the bed and they informed us that we cannot attach a headboard to it. We knew all that upfront before buying it. Then the delivery team brought it, installed it, and told us what we needed to have to set it up with. They set it all up and showed us, including my husband, how to work and operate it. Overall, we love the bed.

    On December 8, 2016 my husband and I purchased a Sleep Number bed from the store in Santa Rosa. Sales person was very nice. After one week of sleeping on the bed, which was delivered on December 15, I called customer service because the bed was extremely uncomfortable. The representative wanted to customize and send some parts to make it more comfortable. It took two weeks to get it installed. We received only half of what was promised. Again the bed was extremely uncomfortable. I called customer service and was told they would send another part. I called again this morning January 23, 2017. It took over an hour to get someone to help me.

    We were then told that under the terms and conditions all parts of the bed were not returnable. This is not what we were told in the store. The print is very small and difficult to read, and we believed the sales clerk was giving us the correct information: The bed could be returned. Our understanding when we left the store was that we would be able to return the bed within a 100 day period if we were unhappy. To us that meant all parts of the bed could be returned and a full refund would be received.

    That is not the case. It will cost approximately $500 to return the bed. We paid $5400 for a bed that we cannot sleep in! Beware of the terms and conditions of sale. Sales people do not tell you all everything and mislead the customer. Be sure that you do not take the word of the sales person but rather you completely read the terms and conditions. We are beyond unhappy! We received no satisfaction from customer service. We would NOT recommend Sleep Number bed to anyone.

    I've had a Sleep Number for 22 years. So, when I wanted to get a different one, I went and upgraded to the one that tilts up and moves around. However, it gets annoying but it's not the Sleep Number that's the problem. It's the REA, our electric company, because when we lose power then we have to reprogram the bed. So far, their reps have all been great. They came and installed the bed and we kept the other bed for somebody else. Everything's been great and I hope it stays that way.

    I had a friend who had a Sleep Number and told me that she enjoyed it. It worked wonders for her back so I decided to get one for myself since I was having back or shoulder issues. I was greeted by their sales professionals as soon as I walked in the store. They walked me through every series and I was able to try a few of the beds to see which one I preferred. They priced them for me, and we found a Sleep Number that was comfortable for me. It was great from beginning to end and I got the bed earlier than I expected. The delivery team moved out my old bed and moved my new one in. They showed me how to work the remote, how to program, and how to set it up on my phone.     We got our first Sleep Number in 2010 and it was the split king mattress. That time, I kept complaining because the mattress would slide and wouldn't stay, and there was a hole in the middle of the bed and I hated it. So after going back again and again, I was told that it was only holding one bolt in the middle of the mattress and that they had since changed that. We just bought our second Sleep Number. We hadn't had it but a few months and I'm not quite sure how this one's going to hold up. Anything that slips towards the middle of the bed on both sides will sag in time. I was told that I could unzip the mattress and that there's a foam in there that I could turn. That's not exactly true because I tried that. I like the Sleep Number but I'm a little concerned because I paid so much for it. I might just have to go up another number to make it a little firmer if it sags.

    The salespeople and delivery team have been very nice. I didn't realize until later that every time I would go back in the store and talk to the staff about my original mattress, it looked like I'm a very dissatisfied customer, which I wasn't. I was not happy with the original product and I thought Sleep Number should have given me a better discount. But I'm still a loyal customer because I went back and bought another one.

    I have a lot of arthritis and was also facing surgery. In the past, I had to get a chair that reclines to sleep in and get up. I don't have to do that now with the Sleep Number. It's much more comfortable. So far the only issue we've got with it is that the material is tearing away where it is sewn on the cover. But I only see it when I wash it, and I don't know if getting a new one is going to solve the problem.

    In getting a Sleep Number bed, it looked like we were going to have a good night's sleep. We got both a mattress and a base. The sales rep was very courteous, professional, and good. But, going into the store, I already knew what I wanted. We scheduled for delivery and it was good with the delivery team. They came and set the bed up. They were quick and showed me how to use the bed, and I was happy with it. The product that we got was all right. For the price, though, it was expensive. I'm also disappointed that the air foam was making a noise every time I pump it up. But we're okay with it. It seems that every time I call Customer Service, I've got to pay. Next time, we're just going to get the base without too many moving parts. Just a mattress and a base would be good.

    The sales professionals at Sleep Number were wonderful and the installation team was excellent. We upgraded to a split top mattress, but I'm not as happy with this bed as I was with the previous one. The FlexTop, only a quarter of the way down where it is split at the top so you can put either side up, was pulling apart. The gap between the mattresses at the top was eight inches at one point. I called customer service and talked to a young lady who seemed to know what she was talking about. She told me that what they needed to do was send me more shark bites that bite into the mattress and hold it in one place. There are four of those on the bed but they're on the bottom two-thirds of the bed.

    When the parts arrived, I was told to call back and set an appointment. As I was speaking to this next person setting the appointment, I was told, “That won't solve the problem because that’s just gonna cause the mattresses to pull and tear because the shark bites are gonna want to be here, but as you lift the mattress, they do slide a little bit.”

    They put me to a supervisor who was the rudest gentleman I have ever spoken with in my life. I explained the circumstances and he said that the only solution he can see is to send a service tech out here to look at the bed. I said, “Wonderful. Have somebody come out here and diagnose what the problem is.” Then he said he'll need my credit card for $180 charge. And I said, “Oh, no, you won't. Your bed has a problem. It is not me. You need to send a service tech out here.” He said he can't do that without me paying for the service call. I said, “I spent $10,000 on the bed with you six months ago and now I got to pay another $180 because it's not functioning the way it should?” He said that’s their policy but he'll see what he can do. He came back on the line about five minutes later and he said, “Okay. I'm gonna do this one time. I'm gonna have a service tech come on out there.”

    The service tech that came out here looked at the bed and said, “I agree the shark bites are not gonna solve the problem.” He asked me if I have you been doing the weekly maintenance on it. I said, “Obviously not. What is it because I don’t know what it is?” At that point, he said that I need to pump the bed up on each side to 100 pounds at least once a week. That allows my mattresses to align where they're supposed to be. I wasn’t told that in the store and I was not told that by the technician that put it together. Instead they told me that these beds have no maintenance other than to adjust it to my comfort level.

    The service tech stripped the bed all the way down to the base, and he rebuilt the whole bed again. He was fantastic and I would want him every time I have to have somebody to come out. He put it all back together and for a few months, it was fine. He also said to me, “This has a two-year warranty. If this happens again and you are not happy with this bed, call and tell them you want an exchange.” The bed is starting to do the same thing again, so I'm at the point where I want to call and tell them I wanna swap out.

    Also, when I first bought the bed, I had to buy special sheets because they also have to have the split at the top. One set of the sheets I bought, we put them on the bed. They tell you that when you make the bed, to lift the sides or the tops and put the sheets on and then lay it back down. That split the sheet right at that joint and ripped it. That should've been my first clue that maybe there wasn’t something right, but I just dismissed it to being that there wasn’t enough seam and I just pulled the part. Other than that, as far as comfort I recommend the Sleep Number bed. In fact, I gave my kids our old bed and they are really happy with that one.

    I had a Sleep Number before but the company I had bought it from was not doing business locally any more. I'm too old to be looking up mattresses so once I buy one, I would have to have it delivered and find a way to get it in the house. Then I saw a commercial that now, the bed is just rolled out of a box. So then I bought a king-sized bed from Sleep Number along with the frame. But I didn't get pillows because I'm happy with the ones I've got and I love them. I thought I had picked a fairly decent bed at a reasonable price. I also found out my next-door neighbor had the one with the adjustable head part and she paid not only a couple of hundred dollars more than I did and hers is queen size.

    The girl who waited on me was very helpful. She had registered my number at a 40 but I have not been a 40 since the day I was at the store. I was 90 for awhile and then now I'm down to about 80. Occasionally, if I sleep in the wrong way, I feel like something is sticking up into my hips. But all in all, other than sinus problems right now, I've been sleeping well. I'd recommend Sleep Number to anybody.

    When I was looking for a bed, I've been having some back problems because I sit at a desk for most of my day. So I was looking for something that I could change and something that was really good for support. I noticed at least air mattresses in general because I can modify the hardness of the mattress. I can make it harder for days that I need more support or less when I want it to be more comfortable. Then, my aunt and uncle had gotten a Sleep Number bed and they swore by it. Then, I researched online on some reports and ended up really liking Sleep Number.

    The mall nearby was close to the end of their hours so there was only one employee in there. She walked me through much of the different models, asking me what I was needing, why I was using it, and because of that, she pointed me to a couple of different models that were in my price range and that she thought would benefit me based on whether I slept hot or cold or slept right side, left side, or I can't sleep. Then, the woman at the store gave me her card, anytime I needed anything, I can just call her up, and that's very sweet of her.

    I was really impressed with the woman at the store and the movers in general. They were very nice and personable, which is rare. I was scheduled for home delivery, Sleep Number put the mattress all together for me as well and nothing was damaged. Since I had my Sleep Number bed, my back is certainly better, the problem has not come back and so I'm liking my bed a lot.

    My sister had a Sleep Number bed and was very happy with it, so I got one for myself, too. With the mattress, I also got the adjustable base. It's not quite a year that I've had my bed and I like it. I was very sick at the time and could not go into the store. But I made a phone call to the store, talked to a representative, made the order, and got my bed in. The purchasing process went very well. Likewise, everything went quite well with the delivery team, except that they did not want to take my old bed. I had an old, adjustable bed that had belonged to my mother and had a broken spring in it. I was able to get them to take it eventually because my contractor was here and he said he would help them take it out to their truck, and that if anything was damaged in moving it, he would take responsibility. I was quite perturbed that I should pay upwards of $5,000 for a bed and they wouldn't take the old one.

    The bed I had before was fabulous, but it was 30 years old so it was slumping. The concept is what sold me to Sleep Number. I got the c2 model and it's an interesting bed. I was having some arthritis problems so I put a three-inch topper on everything just to ease the pressure points, and then I took that off six months ago. I’ve been sleeping on Sleep Number's regular bed since. Once I’m in it, I feel okay, but when you put your hand down the top surface, it sinks in immediately for an inch and there’s no resistance for like three inches till I bottom out on the underlying air mattress. It isn’t like my old one where if you jumped on it, it was firm instantly. This one sinks in a bit and then it firms up. So I was thinking it could be firmer up there.

    We had a Tempur-Pedic and it sucked. We got a Sleep Number and it can't be beaten being an adjustable bed. I then find what I want and it works good. We purchased online and the process was fine. However, it turns out we didn't need the base because our Tempur-Pedic base works fine on it and it's an adjustable base so we made that work.     When in the store, we scheduled delivery for 1/21 because we were not home any weekend before that date or for another 3 weekends after that date. On the 19th & 20th we waited for our call to schedule delivery and it never came. We called customer service and they did nothing. We called the store and they did nothing.

    After spending more than $3,000 on a bed you think they would take care of you so you would recommend this store to another person, but I guess that is not part of their agenda. Zero help has been given and now we have to change our plans just to get a bed that was supposed to have been delivered already. The store manager was supposed to talk to our rep we worked with then call us back, but we have yet to hear back. Only if the rep acknowledges the fact that the missed delivery is the responsibility Sleep Number, then they "may" compensate us for this mishap. After all this, we will NEVER recommend someone buying anything from this company.

    I had three back surgeries that caused me some permanent damage. And when the bed that I was sleeping on wasn't comfortable anymore, I tried Sleep Number. Their salesman was decent, but now that I've had it, he really oversold the bed to me. I told him what I needed and he told me to get the adjustable base that had all the whoops and whistles on it. I didn't need that massage and all its other features. He also talked me out of buying the split bed with independent sides which I now wish I had.

    But the delivery guys, on the other hand, were absolutely fantastic. They were on time, did everything for me and took great care doing it. They showed me how to do everything. They were professional yet they were friendly and kind. And the bed does help with my back problems and I have recommended them to several of my friends. But I suggest that they consider putting one of those little devices at the foot of the bed so that the mattress doesn't tend to migrate to the foot of the bed off of the headboard.

    My husband and I have gone through several types of mattresses. He likes a really hard bed and I like it soft and we can never find a compromise. But with Sleep Number, we both can have what we wanted. We got the base, the pillows and the bedding. At first, we weren't exactly sure what we wanted. So the sales rep walked us around and let us look at the different models. We're not quite old enough yet that we didn't think that we needed the bed that raise the head. So we looked at just the standard flat bed and she let us get on it. Then we did our sleep test where we looked at the pressure points and what we thought was comfortable. She went through that whole deal which sealed it for us. The bed's still in a really good shape. However, my husband was a little disappointed because he didn't realize that the base was plastic because normally, it's board. But we've been pleased with it and the whole process was relatively worry free.

    The last bed I bought was over $2000 and it lasted for about a year and then we couldn’t sleep on it anymore. A few friends of mine have Sleep Numbers and they were telling me about it so my wife and I went over there and checked them out. Everybody was real good. The lady that helped us was real knowledgeable. She talked me into buying it. I want the top of the line then she quoted me and gave me an option.     The Sleep Number bed has been a waste of our mom's money and we are so sorry that we bought it. Our mom doesn’t really enjoy sleeping on it and only slept on it four times. Unfortunately, she didn’t take advantage of the timeframe that you could take it back ‘cause she was going to try to work into it. When my sister said she was going to buy a Sleep Number, I told her not to as it was a ripoff. It’s so expensive and the customer service sucks cause they don’t follow through. But our mom bought the bed with the adjustable base, with the top and the seat, and she got it because she was diagnosed with ALS in January last year. However, she can’t even use it so it’s really an awful thing.

    I called their customer service center because the bed was too high so I wanted to see if they could lower it so that our mom could work with her PT people before she went on to a hospice. But their reps seemed to not know what I was asking for and it really irritated me because I was in an emergency. Their staff came but they ordered the wrong parts and they charged us twice for the delivery and the service call even though it was not our fault. The bed's crap and whatever you see on TV and in the magazines, it really isn’t worth it. It’s like any other bed that you could buy. Tempur-Pedic makes a cheaper version and I’m sure it’s just as good.

    My wife has issues with arthritis and fibromyalgia, so she needed a mattress that's special that can be adjusted infinitely. We went to the store in West Omaha, Nebraska to take a look at Sleep Number and the reps walked us through all the options and different mattresses. We told them what we had and what we were looking for, so they zeroed in on exactly what we were looking for. They didn't try to oversell so I felt pretty comfortable that we were gonna get exactly what we needed.

    We've had a Sleep Number mattress for about nine years while this newest one's been a couple of years now, so we're pretty used to them. We have an adjustable base so that my wife can raise and lower the head and foot and the Sleep Number fits our needs, and that's why we bought it. My wife sleeps a whole lot better on it. We put it together ourselves and didn't have any trouble with directions. Overall if we were ever in the market for another one, that's where we would go, so pretty much all our mattresses are gonna be Sleep Numbers.

    I've had a Sleep Number bed for 10 years now. Then I purchased another one for my second bedroom. My experience with their saleslady was very good. I went to the store a few weeks earlier. They were all gentlemen but they were not good at all. When I went back, the saleslady was there and she was by herself. She was the supervisor from another store and they had some problem with the Medford place. We did the setup ourselves. It wasn't that easy to put it together. But the quality of the new bed was really good.

    A young woman asked us to try out a Sleep Number bed and she was very professional, pleasant, helpful and was not pushy. She gave us information about the bed and talked about how to do the adjustments, the policy of return if we chose to make a return, how long we would have to wait and how making the return was. She did a good job and I was satisfied with her. However, I would have returned it if my husband agreed to because to me, everything about it was uncomfortable. I have gone through every setting and it was either too hard or too soft, like sleeping in a hammock or sleeping on a slab. I bought extra padding to put over it and it's not painful anymore, but it's still uncomfortable. I would not recommend it to anybody.

    Be aware when buying a Sleep Number bed. Defective bed delivered less than 24 hr. Could not deal with store. Had to call 800 number. 45 min in hold. Sent replacement we had to install. Uncomfortable mattress just not for us. We expected to be out the initial shipping fee. But they also charge same amount 179$ to return. OR 60$ for two shipping labels. They say all of this fits in two boxes. They do not provide boxes. We have to get those on our own. OR we choose our own shipper and return. Out 179$ + cost of very large boxes + shipping. It will cost us 300$ + to TRY their bed for 11 days. The worst company we have dealt with in our lives. Once you leave that store you are in your own and you better not want to return it!!!

    I have a friend that has a Sleep Number bed and he spoke very highly of it. He said that if I was going to buy a new bed, I should buy a Sleep Number as well so I bought one. I think I couldn't sleep very well if I didn't have a Sleep Number. Truthfully, I sleep great now. But I wish it didn't turn down so much. My girlfriend and I each have our side and she likes hers lower than mine. So, it'll be nice and firm on my side. Then, I'll roll over and fall in a hole and it's tough getting back out. But other than that, I would recommend this bed to everybody.

    I had a great experience with their reps. I went to the mall and they provided me with what I was looking for. The boxes ended up on my front door and it couldn't have been any easier. I'm in construction so it was pretty sleek to deal with and we put it together in 45 minutes. I would consider that slow because we were curious if we were doing it right. It went really good and I was happy the way it went together.

    I have two different beds with Sleep Number. I had a single bed that I purchased four years ago. I liked its flexibility of moving the head and feet up, and also increasing or decreasing the pressure because I have health issues and that really have come in handy. I'm getting married and we wanted a bigger bed. I got a king size bed and also the sheet set where the bed base is together and the top is split. However, I'm not thrilled about the quality or pricing of the sheet. They're all pricey and don't have very good colors. I also can't get the sheets anywhere else. Because of the style of bed, I'm limited to what Sleep Number has. I've considered buying two single sheets, sewing them and making them fit but it sounds like a big headache.

    The bed itself is great and I would recommend it. We've had it for almost a year now and I survived on one sheet set because I don't like the choices of colors or the price of what options are out there. If I had fully understood what the ramifications of getting this type of bed would be, I would've probably got two singles and then just put them together. It's quite an expensive bed but I'm happy with it.

    We've made a couple of purchases with Sleep Number. We were interested in the adjustability between sides of the bed so we went with them. The most recent purchase we had from them was just the mattress, but we also got the thing that makes us able to control the temperature on each side, and it went great. However, with the first purchase, we just found out about two months ago that when our bed was originally delivered, one of the pieces was not with it. And the professionals that we paid to put it together didn’t realize that. We've been having trouble with that bed ever since we got it. I've called numerous times and we've tried different things. And the last time I talked to somebody right before Christmas, they were talking about a foam layer, which I said I don’t have.

    So I'm not real happy about that experience. The part that we're really upset about is we paid to have somebody put that bed together and they didn’t even realize that all the pieces weren't there. Every time I called, people that I talked to were very happy to try to help me figure out the problem. I just was not expecting, at the price we paid, to have issues. But for the main part, we're mostly satisfied with our bed. Right now, we're trying to sleep on it for a while and figure out if this last fix took care of the problem. Otherwise, I'll be back on the phone with them again trying to figure out what's going on. But the problem is we've had it three years now and we're no longer in the 100% warranty category. So, I'm a little discouraged that it's taking this long of me calling a couple of times a year to figure out exactly what the issues are. But overall, we like the bed. I was just unhappy with the process we've had to go through on that very first bed.

    We had a Sleep Number bed many years ago when they first were new. But it lost air and we sent it back. As we looked at it on TV, we said we were going to get that, eventually. My husband got the flu about six weeks before he had his knee surgery and was getting into bed when he said, "This is like an exercise bed." He had so much trouble trying to turn over because he was so weak. My back was bothering me too and I told him that we needed to get a different bed and we talked it over. He had his knee surgery a year ago, in February. When he got better, we would get a Sleep Number.

    When Sleep Number's half-price sale came on, however, my husband was in a skilled care at that time. I told one of my sons to go with me and he told me not unless their dad can go and try it out too. I told him the sale would go off before he would get better. My son talked to them on the phone and I went and checked the bed out. It bothered me, though, that the salesperson didn't have me try the bed I wanted and bought. When I went back, they said they only put that in when it's on sale. But it ended up being okay and the sales guy was a really good man.

    The bed was delivered before my husband got home and it was surprising because it was two weeks earlier. My daughter was here and she helped me get the bedding on it. It worked out really well and we're happy with it. I also haven't heard any complaints so I assume my husband's happy too. The adjustable back was really good at that time and my husband still has it up a little. I tried to do the snore thing for him too as once in a while, he snores a little. I did it once but I couldn't do it again.

    My wife and I have different tastes in firmness and softness. When we went to purchase our Sleep Number bed, the reps showed it to us and we lay down on it and tested it out. The delivery team delivered and put it together, and everything was good with the setting up. Then we moved across the country and something must have happened during the move because one of the air chambers wasn't holding any air. But we got it all fixed and situated really quick so that was nice. We've had our Sleep Number for close to a year now but I'm still struggling to find a happy spot with it. It hasn't been an easy task for me and it's been pretty tough. I don't even know how accurate it is because sometimes I take it all the way up to 100 or all the way down to whatever the lowest it can go. There's obviously a difference but sometimes I take it to around the area where I usually sleep and it either feels softer or harder so it's inconsistent.

    I needed a bed and got one from Sleep Number. I've had it for about a year now. I got just the mattress from them and built my own frame for it. The sales representatives were very helpful and helped me pick out a good bed. It went really well with the delivery team. There were two people that came and set the bed up for me, and they did a good job. They set up the password for my bed. I'm enjoying my Sleep Number bed a lot.     I've had a Sleep Number mattress for 15 years but that didn't have any hydraulic stuff in it. So I figured I'd give another shot and this new one has individual heads and foot that raises. However, the split headboard is not for cuddling. It isn't split all the way down the middle but when I get it down a third of the layer, it's like there's a hole there. Also, I bought two sets of sheets when I bought the bed and they charged me 250 for a set and that's a lot of money. I think their sheets are overpriced.

    We needed a new mattress and we wanted one that was comfortable and adjustable. The Sleep Number sales reps had us lay on the sample bed and mapped out what number we should sleep in. Then they went over the pillow selections and they went over everything that would make it more comfortable and less painful to sleep. Also, the delivery guys were great. They helped me move the old bed into another bedroom, which was no easy task since that was a Tempur-Pedic mattress that weigh about 4,000 pounds. Overall the bed seems to be working fine and everything the rep said came true. I’m happy with the product and I feel great about it.     The delivery guys were good. However, I was a little bit uncomfortable with them speaking Spanish. Both of them could speak English so if they're in an English-speaking house, then speak English 'cause we don't know what they were saying. And one of them hit my door jam and split it. I purchased a Sleep Number because I have different comfort zones and you can't get that in a regular mattress. My wife might like a little softer, and I like it a little firmer. We weren't going to buy a king but we decided to go with it because we wanted the separate head adjustment. The only downfall about that is I feel that the middle has too much gap between the split and I can slide my whole hand right down through.

    Our bed has started to deteriorate over the past four weeks. We purchased a new part and was sent another part to try. Neither fixed the problem and the next step is to purchase a $700 part. Since we paid over $2000 for the bed seven years ago, this seems extreme. I am going mattress shopping tonight to replace this bed. We tested it out and tried the different settings then we went over the products that they offered, and then we made a selection. We had a pretty good idea of what we wanted and then they guided us through. We bought a king size mattress and base. They delivered our purchase and the experience was good. They knew what they were doing and got it done pretty quick. They got it all setup, went over how to use the controls, and took all the extraneous trash away. We're happy with the bed and it seems to be working well so far. I don't mess with the settings very much.

    I bought a Sleep Number bed for my wife and I 10 years ago. I bought it because it was supposed to be the best thing ever. I must admit, the first couple of years were pretty good. Unfortunately it didn't last long as the memory foam top lost its memory and we found ourselves sleeping in two shallow "ditches". I contacted the store we purchased it from and went right to Sleep Number customer service only to be told that there is nothing they can do. They told me that there wasn't any defects with the bed and that they refuse to do anything! Their 20-year limited warranty must be so limited that they are allowed to just say "No, we won't fix it!" and they are covered?

    I'm not about to come back in 20 years and say hey I want a new memory foam top but within 5 years?? Come on! I spent several thousand dollars on this and nothing is being done about it. Here I am 10 years out now and only growing more frustrated with each nights' sleep or lack thereof. I'm sure nothing can or will be done at this point but, if I can save a few folks the hassle then I'm glad I could help.

    On 12/29/2016 I purchased a Split Sleep Number bed and set-up the schedule date of delivery to be on 1/17/2017 with the sales representative, and that process went well. On 1/6/2017 I contacted the store where I did the purchase and spoke with the store manager Barbara, and communicated to her that I needed to change the home address of delivery to the new address. She went into the system and changed the new location where the Sleep Number bed was going to be delivered. I repeated myself that the date was going to remain the same, but only the address was the one that needed to be changed. Barbara, confirmed and repeated to me the new address where the Sleep Number bed was going to be delivered and that the date still remained on 1/17/2017. She also informed me that someone would contact me to confirm my delivery, but I never got the call.

    I thought that maybe they might have forgotten to call me the day before and would contact me the day of the delivery before heading to my house. At 9 am I decided to contact your customer service number since the store was close at that time, and the first gentlemen that I spoke with began to look at the availability to deliver the Sleep Number bed and I stopped him in the process and began to explain that I already had a delivery date set-up which is why I was calling because it was suppose to be on the 17th of January, and he said there was nothing showing that it was set-up. I then got very annoyed and upset and the gentlemen proceeded to say that he was sorry, but the date he had available was 1/24/17, and state that he could only assume that when the address was changed in the system it dropped the date of delivery.

    I then asked if I could speak with someone. He connected me to your so call customer service dept of which to be honest with you they were no help whatsoever because I felt that how they were handling the issues made me feel like it was my fault especially when I spoke with the young lady and he kept on telling me that there was no notes written and no date attached. So my delivery date is now on 1/24/17. If I took the time to spend close to $7,000, I strongly believed that the situation could have been handled much different. I bought this Sleep Number bed because of two major challenges that I have with five back surgeries and my cancer issues.

    I have yet to hear from anyone. I contacted the store where I purchased the Sleep Number bed and asked to speak with the store manager or the sales representative. None of them were available and spoke with another sales representative and was told he would speak with the store manager and she would be contacting me and I'm still waiting. I'm so frustrated with this whole incident and how I've been treated that I'm in debated if I should cancel my purchase. All my life I've worked with the public and when anytime the company's dropped the ball since I represented the organization I would take responsibility and addressed the issue and found a resolution.

    In the event I wasn't empowered to handle the problem I would make sure to find someone that could, and I have to say no one took ownership of the issue. They just kept on passing it to the next person. If that's how your customer service department works then I think you need to really ensure these employees go through retraining on how to handle customer complaints because I was not truly impress after me explaining my issue and concerns.

    I bought a Sleep Number from the Altamonte Springs, Florida store and was told by sales representative that if I did not like it I could return it and the only money it would cost me is the set up fees. I specifically asked about returns. Which would have been $175 + tax for set up and 175 + tax for return. I even asked twice and repeated what he told me in order to make sure we understood each other. A friend of mine met me there as they were buying their 2nd bed because they loved the one that came with their camper so much. I bought an ILE Labor Day weekend. With it I bought a pair of pillows and a mattress cover. Total charges $3005. I financed the bed as they offered 0% interest for 24 months. I took their financing. Big mistake.

    The day they delivered the bed I had buyers remorse watching them set it up. I paid how much for what was essentially a Lego air mattress. I wish I had told them to put it back in the truck before they left. I set up a return after 2 months of giving it a good try. I received a refund of $2311. I have attempted to return the accessories which cost me $250 but the company refused them saying they have a 30 day return policy on accessories and that I may exchange them. Which I thought that had been covered when I bought the bed as the representative told me that I could return everything and all I would owe was the delivery and removal - if I chose to have them come pick up the return. So as of right now I have $250+ worth of accessories I do not want, to a bed I no longer have and I can not return.

    I posted on the Sleep Number's Facebook page and the response I got was: "I'm sorry your bed wasn't the best fit for you and that you've decided to do a return. It's important to know the terms of our return policy can be found on our website, at the register in each of our stores, and on the receipt we ask you to sign once you complete your order, so this information is readily available for our owners. We appreciate your feedback, and I want you to know I've made sure to pass along your thoughts to our Leadership for their review. If there's anything else we assist with in the future, please just let us know."

    The representative who responded on Facebook said he was sorry I returned the product but failed to apologize that the Store Representative lied to me. The receipt I posted lists a 30 day return policy but nowhere does it mention, pillows, sheets or mattress covers and those are the things I attempted to return unsuccessfully. By the time I'm done with Sleep Number. I'll have paid $630 for set up/removal, an uncomfortable pillow, a mattress cover that's overpriced by 300% and a bed I no longer have.

    Me and my husband were sleeping terribly so we decided after 7 years of talking we'd get a Sleep Number bed. We went into the store and everyone was very hospital. The bed we tried in the showroom was super. So me and my husband said "let's do it." So now we owe 7,000 for a piece of crap. My neck hurts, my back is killing me and so is my hips. My husband said the same his neck and shoulders are killing him too. So some nights we are sleeping on the sofa. This is the worst buy ever.

    To top it off every time I call I'm on hold for over an hour and I never get a person on the phone. It says 100 nights and if not happy return. But I can't even get anyone on the phone. So I sent an email still no reply. I will look into getting a lawyer and maybe calling Channel 5 news. I called the store and the guy informed me that full refund. But when I read the contract it looks like the stupid base we got is 3,000 for the damn mattress is not returnable. If I had known that I would not have gotten the bed at all. Why do I want a base that is 3,000 that is not returnable. But they will return the mattress??? Do not buy a bed from here. Now I owe 7,000 for a piece of crap. Probably end up in a pile of junk in the basement. Do not buy a bed from this place. Oh and they say you can return it before 100 days is up but nobody in customer service ever answers. Isn't that nice. So I'm looking into getting a lawyer.

    We remove the top cover to our Sleep Number about every 3 months to reposition the center divider that will not stay in place. Just opened it up last week and I have mold growing under the foam on top of the air mattresses. Sleep Number says "send us some pictures and we will get it taken care of." Called tonight and representative tells me it's oxidation not mold. Well sorry this is black spots, big black spots and they are starting to transfer to the air mattress, and every time I open it up there is more. This bed is only 5 years old and after seeing this way overpriced. So much for them telling me they will take care of the problem, so much for a 20 year warranty.

    I've owned this bed for 25 months. I've never called their support phone number without holding in excess of well over an hour. I just spent 94 minutes on hold only to be told I would have to call another number. If something breaks (like the electronics control box-$ 1589.00) replacement parts are way too expensive.     We have had our VERY expensive bed for about 4 days now, and have had nothing but problems with trying to use the app for controlling the bed. It keeps saying there is no bluetooth connection.     I've been using my original Sleep Number bed for 10 years now and it's still rocking and rolling. My wife said she wanted one. She insisted on it and she hates sleeping on any other bed. All their sales representatives have been perfect. Every time I go there, they have been very good and worked very hard to get me the best deal that they possibly had at the time. Then recently, I bought another one for my aunt. She was 90 years and they treated her extremely well and spent a lot of time with her getting exactly what she needed so I was very happy with that.     Our Sleep Number bed has been a headache since we bought it three years ago. One of the air bladders and the motor for the vibrator went out within the first year. Those were replaced under warranty. The motor that raises and lowers the bed went out. Parts were covered, but it cost $200 for a technician to replace them plus shipping. The same air bladder plus the foam on either side and the head of the bed has collapsed and you feel like you're sliding off the bed now have to be replaced. Partial warranty, but shipping. In addition to the initial cost, this bed is costing us approximately $300 a year to maintain. At some point, it won't be worth paying for replacement parts! We've been very disappointed in the bed. I was looking forward to a comfortable bed... I got the opposite plus expense!

    Ordered a Select Number bed a few weeks ago after my wife's back surgery. Delivery was scheduled between 8am-10am January 13th 2017 just in time for her birthday. We received an auto confirmation call the night before bumping the delivery time back a couple house, but things happen so no big deal. Spend the morning of the delivery disposing of our old bed and making room for the new one. 1 hour prior to scheduled delivery time we received a phone call stating that due to weather they have cancelled our delivery. Keep in mind that it has not rained or snowed at our location at all, but I will concede that maybe wherever the delivery is being sent from may have got inclement weather. It does however not excuse the fact that they informed us that our bed would now not be delivered until January 25th! That is 12 days from the original delivery date!

    Did I mention I no longer have a bed since I expected the new one today and disposed of the old one. I have spoke to three separate supervisors. Two of which said they would call me "right back" and never did! I understand that things like weather happen, but they can't seem to explain why they can't complete the promised delivery when the weather is no longer an issue. So what if it means you add an extra delivery the following day or maybe someone works a little overtime. To "stick" a cancelled delivery at the end of the delivery schedule 12 days out is completely unacceptable, rude and extremely poor customer service.

    My Sleep Number queen bed and frame cost $5,000+. After 2 years, the side I sleep on has sagged. You cannot rotate this mattress. So I went to website for solutions (raise your sleep number to 100?) and also called when their solutions didn't work. (They referred me to their website.) OK here's what I got from their website, put a vacuum nozzle on top of the mattress and "suck it up". Needless to say I felt like a fool and do NOT recommend this product to anyone.

    I've had Sleep Number for over a year and it's much better than my old bed. We spoke to their sales representative kind of into the evening and they were a little short-staffed. But the delivery team was fine. The one thing that I would complain about is when we ordered, we asked about it being able to be attached to another headboard. We were told yes but not told that we needed to order a $50 kit to attach it. And so when it came, it didn't have that and they didn't have one on the truck. Sometimes, they said, they keep carrying them. For the price of the bed that we paid, that should have been a given that it would be included. I was not happy about having to fork another $50 and wait for that.

    I wasn't particularly happy with Sleep Number. We had one, which we liked, in Ohio but we did not bring it down with us, so we wanted to get another one. We selected the features we wanted and discussed it all. We were given a price which we agreed to and signed a credit agreement letter. But I suddenly discovered that the price quoted to us was $1500 shy of what it should have been. I wanted to rip up the credit agreement letter because I didn't need the credit line at that point and just say no to the whole sale. But they said that the credit agreement was in place and they had already set it up. They couldn't do anything about it. I stuck out, dragged my wife with me, complained and said I was going to talk to the Attorney General about it. I was going to file a complaint.

    Ultimately, my wife went back in there and they did a few things to make her happier with the deal. We went through with the purchase but I was perfectly willing at that point to tell them to stuff it and sign a complaint. To me, it sounded like a bait and switch. The manager in the store called and explained that the salesperson simply made a mistake. But I just looked at the whole thing, and it was way too smooth and practiced for it to simply be a mistake. I suspected they do that to a lot of people. The bed is nice but I would never go in there and buy something from them. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody else.

Our bed's losing air, it's going down to zero, and instead of someone coming out and troubleshooting what is wrong with it, they're telling us to do all this different stuff to troubleshoot as to what could be wrong with it. After I paid all that money for that bed, I feel like someone should come out here and figure out why it's not holding air. But aside from that, the bed is pretty good.

    I recently had the pleasure of exploring the Sleep Number store in Milford, CT. Patsy ** was my salesperson and she was both lovely and an expert. I'd researched several beds and sales online and I tried several beds in the store. I also asked many questions because my funds are limited. Since I'd been the victim of a June 2016 car accident I asked my physical therapist, Joel **, what he thought of SN beds & he said he's owned one for 12 years and highly recommends them. I chose a c4 bed with dual air chambers & a flex fit 2 adjustable base & a remote.

    Since my income is extremely limited (fixed) I'm financing the bed over 4 years at no interest with payments of $67.32 per month as it stands now. Since I'm having problems determining my sleep number setting I may need Sleep IQ technology but I doubt if I can afford it. I also may need to reconsider getting another pillow. Patsy, Jeremy, and Chris have all been as helpful as possible when the store was very busy.     On New Years Eve I purchased a Sleep Number bed and have been looking forward to it. I had it scheduled for a morning or afternoon delivery on Jan. 12. Today I found out it's going to be delivered between 6pm and 10pm. In my world this is not morning or afternoon and I will not be there to take the delivery. When I talked to them they were a little rude about it and told me that now I have to wait another 2 weeks and that they never commit to any specific part of the day, even though I can not do night time deliveries. While I have someone helping on resolving the issue, I am considering just cancelling the entire order because the delivery service refuses to work with me on doing a morning or afternoon delivery even though I am paying for the delivery. I hope this issue can be resolved and that I won't have to wait another 2 weeks for the bed, but for now, I have not had the best experience with the delivery service for this company.

    My wife was having some problems with her back and was very uncomfortable with the mattress we had, and Sleep Number was the most comfortable for her.

    We got the base which is a split king. You can raise the bottom together but the top goes up separately. If I had realized it at the time, I probably would have gone with two twins side-by-side instead of the split king because the split king is very hard to find sheets for. We got the split king so you could move up independently but the bottom comes up all at once. So, finding sheets for that type of mattress is kind of problematic. If we'd done side-by-side twins, it probably would have been a lot easier.

    I got the very base model of Sleep Number. I like it that I could adjust the bed even after buying it. I put it together myself and it's very easy. On the other hand, it's like a glorified air mattress although it's comfortable. I set it to 35 and because I don't have it on high puffiness or firmness, it sinks in. Since I only got the base model, I didn't have the filler thing on top which would have made the bed a little bit better and not seem like in a hole.

    My husband had some back issues on a regular bed and everyone told us to get a Sleep Number. The salesman was polite and knowledgeable. We live in an R/V but we got the regular at-home version as our R/V can accommodate the size of the bed. Their team delivered the bed and installed it. They all gave us good service.

    However, we're not very happy with the Sleep Number as my husband has had nothing but back problems since we've gotten it. He has tried adjusting his bed to all different levels, starting with the level that the salesman told us it was supposed to be. His problems are worse on the Sleep Number than they were on a conventional mattress. For me, it's about the same as it was on a conventional mattress. We would have returned it. However, we live in an RV and didn't return to the New Mexico area for over 9 months. When we did, we were already beyond the 30 or 90-day period and there's not much we can do about it. Sleep Number did not accomplish the result that they advertised and that everyone told us it was going to.

    We had a Sleep Number many years ago and I have very serious back problems. Sleep Number is far better than previous beds I've used and I know it would help me more than any other type of mattress. The sales staff couldn't have been any nicer.     Our old bed was fairly worn out. My wife and I were looking for a change and we thought that the Sleep Number, given our differences in comfort, would be a good choice for us. We checked it out at the Sleep Number store and liked their bed. They were short-staffed so, it took a little longer than it might have but we got adequate time to test out the beds. They answered all the questions and did a pretty good job. They happened to be on sale as well. We're very happy with our Sleep Number. It eliminated the snoring issues by changing the angle of the top part of it. We'd recommend it.

    We got the Sleep Number mattress and the base and the sales reps were very nice and helpful. But we're not happy with the quality and I cannot see where it's any better than any mattress we've ever had. I can see indentions in the part where my husband's and my butt is. When I called and talked to a rep they told me that a lot of people round up the number to 100 in the mornings and then put it on their sleep number when they go to bed. I've tried that and I can't see a lot of difference. We're dissatisfied with our experience. I sleep on 85 and my husband on 65 and it's not what we thought it was going to be.

    I have a Sleep Number bed which I really like. When my wife was helping her mother buy a new mattress I suggested they try the Sleep Number. They asked the store if it was the wrong bed can it be returned, they were told yes. They stated the return policy and the bed and adjustable frame were purchased. It turned out after 30 days that it was not the correct bed for her, no worries it's returnable Right? Yes the mattress is returnable but not the frame, of course this wasn't mentioned at the time of purchase. I can not in good conscience recommend this bed because of their poor customer service. I think I will be returning mine as well, even though I like it. It's just the principle. There are a lot of other companies that make mattresses and I would strongly advise anyone to look elsewhere, as this company has proven itself as quite duplicitous.

    Sleep Number is very comfortable. The only issue we run into from time to time is the lack of communication between the controller and the brain itself. It happens often.     My first Sleep Number goes back 10, 20 years and what I have right now is my second. The sales rep was very clear in describing the various models. He got me the one that made the most sense for me and everything went very smoothly. The bed has excellent quality overall. Everything works. The only concern I have is that I sit on one side of the bed and it's beginning to show that the mattress is wanting to recognize my butt. So it's not as crisp on the edge as the other side.

    When we went looking for beds, we spent a lot of time doing comparison shopping and research. But it was hard to sort through all of the competing stores out there.     I have a couple of friends who had bought Sleep Number beds and they liked them, so we decided to purchase from them. We got the i8 and it seems to be a good bed. My experience was great at first, but I'm not happy with follow through. The delivery team was on time and worked on it. They also made sure that I knew exactly how to work everything and ensured that all the manuals are there and went over them with me. Their sales reps were knowledgeable and courteous, but they said that they were going to contact me before the first trade was up and I haven't heard from them since then. They also told me that the person that recommended me would get $100 gift certificate and they never have.     I was in a really bad car accident and my back wasn't responding to the standard mattress, so I had to sleep with pillows under my legs. I couldn't really walk and my old bed wasn't doing it but when I lay on a Sleep Number bed in the store, it felt so much better. The sales people were really helpful and the delivery team was good. Instructions were great and our sales rep talked us through prior to that. They said it's about four steps and we should be able to handle it. It's very straightforward.     We've had a Sleep Number for 15 years and we loved it, so we decided to stay with them and upgrade to a better one. They had a booth at a show that we went to and we talked to the people and decided to go and buy one. It has all the bells and whistles and tilts up when watching TV. The feet also tilts up and it has the vibrator in it.

    We scheduled it for home delivery and they told us that they would move our original bed and set up the new bed. When the first guys came, they didn't move the bed and they said that they would reschedule for the next day. I then moved the bed myself in the meantime. But when they came back the next day, they said that they would've moved it if I hadn't done it. The guys did a good job of explaining all the combination of things including the vibration part, the lights on the bottom, and pretty much everything. We were comfortable in operating it before they left.

    When I started researching mattresses, I found that if somebody rolls over with one of the foams, the body is still indented, so they're going to have to wait until it flops up until they get a new indented shape. And that's what I didn't want. My fiancée has a bad back and when I got the Sleep Number, she loved it. I wasn't really impressed until I pulled my back out. I pulled a sciatic nerve of my back, and I realized why I bought it. When I got into bed, I could adjust it to where I am comfortable and now, I'd normally sleep at 95. When I first pulled my back, I was down to 75. I bumped it up a little each time and my back was getting better, so it worked. Delivery was fine although they didn't take the old mattress which kind of upset me. But the trash men took it. I talked to a friend of mine yesterday who has one of those foam beds and he's going with Sleep Number.

    A couple of our friends had the Sleep Number mattress and they were very pleased with it. My husband and I had a very good mattress but it was too firm for me and it was good for him. So when I was talking with my friends, my girlfriend said that their Sleep Number was terrific for them because she had the same issue that she likes a little bit softer and her husband likes a little bit firmer. I talked to my husband and when we're ready to change our mattress, we went to the store and we're very happy with the demonstration. We took a little time to think about it but we went back and purchased the mattress.

    The sales person was very knowledgeable, very persuasive and gave us all the information we wanted. She was very accommodating, kind and courteous and it was a pleasure dealing with her. We went to look for the C60 then she asked us if we could take a look and lay down on the next step up mattress. We did that and we fell in love with it. We could really see the difference. She wasn't pushy and we're very pleased that she wanted us to experience both so we could really make a good decision. When my husband thinks this is what he's going to buy, it takes a lot to persuade him to try something else but she was very successful in doing that. The delivery guys came in and set the bed up very fast. They were very courteous and took all the boxes.

    We're very pleased with our bed. We do have different settings which were very helpful. My husband likes it a little bit firmer and I like it a little bit softer. It's a product well-made and most of all, it does what it says it would do for you. We could tell the difference on sleeping, how relaxing we are when we're laying down and how good night sleep we get with the mattress. A lot of products will say this will do for you but then when you use it, it's not what you expect it. Also, we don't have the backaches anymore. Whenever I meet somebody that is looking to buy a mattress, I always recommend my friend because of my good experience. I also pass the word around because we're so happy with it.

    I've had my first Sleep Number bed for about 12 years and it was old and just flat. I wanted to be able to move up and down the bed and change positions so I bought a second one. With this new one, I'm able to raise the back and the feet. The bed is great except for the controllers that have terrible quality. The controllers are very fragile and Sleep Number redesigned them but they come apart all the time.     I had a Sleep Number with my ex-wife. And I've been sleeping on a Sleep Number bed for about five years now. However, a couple of days ago when it got really cold, we thought that the bed had dropped in pressure. We checked their numbers and they were roughly the same as they were the last time we saw them. I looked for the procedure for correctly filling the bed on the net and I didn't see it jump off the page at me when I went to their web page. The quality of the bed's fine. But they're pretty expensive all in all, especially when people are gonna add some foam to the top of it. I went with the cheapest one and just added my own foam because of that.

    I only had one problem. When Sleep Number delivered the bed, they wouldn't put the headboard on which I didn't buy from them. So I went up to Sleep Number and they told us that they were not responsible for putting that on there. I told them I want to put the headboard on there, and they put the brackets on. But they didn't explain they won't put the headboard on. I took that for granted and that was my mistake. Plus, the delivery was supposed to be at noon time. Then, they called and set it at four o'clock. Then, they called again and said it’d be 6:00. Then, they called and said it’d be 8:00 but they showed up at 8:30 when I was ready to go to bed. That was the worst delivery.

    We moved from Tampa, Florida to Arkansas and I had ordered a Sleep Number there because of the firmness that I needed for my back. Since we were going to move, we waited until we got here and then we reactivated the order. We went through the different beds in Tampa and the bed I bought was the better bed for me in the store. However, it is not anything like the way it should have been from the store. It has lumps in it and it is sagging where our bodies go. It also took forever to get the bed out here. The delivery people set the bed up and it was like an act of God to get them here to even put the bed up. I was under the impression that this thing was warrantied, but the longer I have it, the more I pay for them to fix this bed. It's not holding up the way I thought it should and it's not worth what we paid for them. One of my sisters got one and she's going through the same thing.

    The Sleep Number we have now is much better than the last one. With our old Sleep Number bed, the difference from side to side is noticeable for whoever is the heavier person. But this time, because we bought the movable, we ended up sleeping in two twin beds. The only downside is that it makes it hard to have the full effect of the bed if one's a little up and the other's a little down. Sometimes, we're in the bed but no number is changed and we would want them to be contiguous.

    I didn't buy a movable bed the first time because I didn't want to seem geriatric when you have them raised up and lowered down. But now, it's completely acceptable to have that. So what I should've done the first time, I didn’t and I paid for it dearly physically.

    We were looking for a new bed and we've heard a lot of good reviews about Sleep Number, so we purchased one. However, when we bought it at the store, we seemed rushed into picking a bed. We were the only customers but the sales person seemed like he wanted us in there, buy one, and get out. Also, the delivery team wanted to come and deliver the bed the next day since the roads were crappy on the day the bed was supposed to be delivered. However, we have waited for half a month already and I have torn down my other bed. I wouldn't have made the guy come if I haven't done that. He kept calling and he didn't show up until 9:30 that night. The bed is nice but it's a lot of money just not to be comfortable.

    We went to look at the Sleep Number bed and my husband ended up buying it. My husband was injured in the service and the bed helps the pressure on his leg. He likes the bed and sleeps on it. He would buy another one but I wouldn't. I can't roll over in it.

    I was hoping for a more comfortable night's sleep and my husband really wanted a Sleep Number. Their rep was wonderful. She didn't have the pushy salesperson technique which drives me nuts. She was very personable and knowledgeable. We scheduled home delivery and their team was on time and had everything set up quickly. That was nice because my husband and I had to get back to work.

    My husband is happy with the Sleep Number and likes all the technical stuff. He likes how he could play with it as it has the under-lighting, and depending on his mood, he adjusts the mattress so that it's firmer or softer. However, they sold us something that covers the mattress to help protect it and they said that that would help disperse heat, but it doesn't seem to. Otherwise, though, I like the fact that I can raise my feet and head to read a book.
