    I spent a ton of money on a brand new Sleep Number bed in the last two to three years. It's crap. It never connects via WiFi to the internet based services. The moisture proof extra cover, the one that's supposed to block anything from getting through, well one night while I was ill I sweated right through that. One of the zippers broke after zipping it open a whopping three times to let the inside of the mattress air out; the part that should have stayed dry if the extra moisture proof cover would work properly. I have pictures to prove it. I bought this because I herniated two discs, have had two back surgeries, and needed a good bed that would last. I don't believe this is either of those. I'd like a refund of every cent I spent.

    We were suckered into the i360 bed in May 2017. Bought the bedding/pillows, etc. $12,000+ later, we have just cancelled our order due to the customer service of Sleep Number. Local salesman was fine. Corporate is horrible! Here's our story: Husband has sleep apnea and has had 4 spine surgeries. I have insomnia and take meds for it. We wanted the best sleeping solution possible and thought we had found it. Spent hours in the store doing the Sleep Number tests and decided to get the newest, fanciest one they have. Special financing was offered and oh, the sales on the accessories! Yep, we bit, hard. Waited 6 weeks for delivery. Delivery confirmed on Monday through emails, calls and texts. We were told it was 'on the truck' for Wednesday afternoon delivery. We move our old mattress to extra bedroom, wash our Sleep Number special sheets (haha) and wait.

    Day of delivery, 2 hours before delivery time, we get a call from Sleep Number corporate that the bed isn't coming due to production problems and won't be here for 4-5 more weeks. Our 'case manager' Emily is totally rude to my husband, offers no solutions for the problem. We call local office - they can't help. Emily calls back and says maybe we can get it in 3 weeks, but that is the best they can do. I said it was unacceptable and her only solution was that we could cancel the bed order, which I did! How can something go from 'being on the truck' to not even being produced yet???

    Luckily we had financed the amount and we can have it all returned. If there is truly production problems, we don't want the thing anyway. And, if we had accepted the bed, I wouldn't have wanted to be married to this horrible, do-nothing, customer service if we had a problem with it! Bad part is that we took a hit for a credit inquiry and a new account that we don't need - they can't take that back. Run, run away!!! Don't buy into their fancy advertisements! Oh, and our iPhone app for the bed never would load so we could get it ready for our bed, either.

    I had a herniated disc and I was unable to sleep on a regular mattress. When we went to purchase the mattress and the base at Sleep Number, the representative I spoke with was very nice and helpful. I laid on every bed in there. During the delivery, the weather didn't go in our favor the first time. And then we have to get to the bottom of the line since we missed the delivery even if it's due to weather. I didn't like that but other than that, everything went well. It took the delivery team less than 30 minutes to put it all together. I love it. It's worth every bit and I wouldn't be able to sleep without it.

    I had slept on a Sleep Number about 10 years ago at a motel in Florida. It's so soft and it slept really good so that has made me choose them. I had done my homework so I knew what I wanted when we went to the store and we were in a hurry that day. We had it delivered to our home and they showed up an hour early. They had a cancellation and they didn’t call us to tell us they were going to be early. I was not there and my husband had to come in home from work. He was a little bit upset with them because they were taking what was off and throwing it on the floor. We have hardwood floor, so he had to say something to them about that. He told them if they couldn’t do better, they could pack it all up and take it back. And then, they did better.

    We got the I8 bed and I love how soft it is and how it feels. On the other hand, when the guy installed it, he didn’t think the holes were exactly right. I had mentioned it to him because it was laying over a little bit further. But he said they’re like that sometimes. If you’re laying in the bed, the sheets move to the right-hand side so my husband gets to the bottom and pulls it back. It's also extremely hot that both my husband and I wake up in the middle of the night. It's in the winter time and we’d wake up perspiring. I’ve bought the sheets which are supposed to be the cooling sheets and it’s the same thing.

    We also bought the thing that goes on the bed where you can do it hot or cold. I have the pillow top and I don’t know if it’s because of the pillow top and that coating they have on it. We have friends that got one, too. One of them said that they simply had to get used to it. They have a complaint about it being hot like we complained about ours being hot but theirs is not as soft as ours is either.

    In addition, it is so loud that my husband said it sounds like a peanut grinder. We weren’t sleeping at night with it until we got the other thing. So now, if it’s really hot, we’ll cut the air on and then the thing would cool off, we’d cut it off so we can get some sleep. The bed sleeps good, but it’s not as soft and it doesn’t sleep as good with that on as it did prior to that. Also, I thought the bed would be more heavy duty than it is, as far as all the foam and stuff on the inside. If I could sleep with it cool without the cooling thing on it, I may as like laying on the clouds but it's not if we’re burning up. Lastly, it ended up that it cost a whole lot more than we thought it’s going to initially, especially with the heating and the cooling pads, that one was way up there. My husband said he wouldn’t recommend Sleep Number at all.

    I had placed an order for pillows. They both hurt my husband's neck and mine. I asked to return them but was told I had to exchange, so I did. This too hurt my neck, so I called once again and asked to return/exchange. This time I was told I could not because I had already made one exchange.     After several recommendations from friends, I purchased in January 2017 a Sleep Number p5 bed. Shortly after the 100 day trial, my fiancé and I noticed we were rolling into the middle of the bed. I removed all bed linens to confirm and it was obvious, the bed sunk down in the middle. At this point I've only had the bed about 4 months. I called customer service and a nice lady walked me through different steps to try and resolve my issue. The only fix she could offer was to send me a foam piece to fix the middle sinking. That was a temporary fix and has not fully resolved my problem.

    I'm disappointed in the amount of money I've spent and the bed has been less than satisfactory. For my $2000 I would expect much more. I definitely have buyer's remorse and would never recommend this bed to anyone. I've attached a photo of mattress with all of linens removed. You can see the bed dips in the middle even with the foam cushion. This may not be much to some people but it's a big deal to me and the amount of money I've spent.

    So far my experience with the Sleep Number company has not been pleasant. The upsell at the store, that required a correction and a refund, I am still waiting for a part of it. The delay in delivery, bought the bed in late June and it's being delivered in late July, the 26th to be exact. Now I get told that the delivery will be between 6 and 10 PM? Are you kidding me? I am old and injured, I go to bed by 8 PM. I have already hired people to remove our current bed so changing the delivery date is not really an option. At this point I am tempted to cancel the order and go with some other foam alternative, I am not impressed and I doubt that I will recommend your company to anyone.

    I have research and read several reviews. We purchased our Sleep Number I8 in August of 2014, got suckered into the upsells, which reached obnoxious when the sheets for the Split King come in at $300. Delivery company no showed for first 3 appointments, made appointment number 4, but motor/pump on back order. Bed was not successfully fully assembled until October. Complained to a manager, received a $250 credit (almost enough for spare sheets). We are on our 4th set of sheets as with the split top, they have been tearing tight where the split stops. So... add another $300-600 a year to cost of ownership. The sleep IQ function never really worked, not even with the onsite delivery team. They gave up and advised to call C/S. After numerous calls to customer service, we just gave up with no resolution as it either did not work at all or projected totally false data.

    Fast forward to this past Saturday night. Wake up at 1130 PM, my side of the bed is completely flat, no air. No customer service until Monday, run test, they need to send a replacement pump. The bed has been slept in less than 3 years and my wife and I both travel, so all told, maybe 1 1/2 years worth of nights. The GREAT news, the replacement pump cost $629 dollars. I was told and confirmed from Sleep Number that this was Sleep Number cost for a pump.

    As we were beyond 2 years of ownership we had a prorated warranty and our cost for the pump came in with shipping at $197. I asked them to provide an invoice from the OEM of the pump. No luck, hoping that person who reads the reviews replies and sends me the invoice that shows what they pay the manufacture of the pump or their actual cost per pump. You will also get charged the shipping for the pump ($16.00) and a $29.99 charge for a return label for your broken pump.

    So my question, we return this 2-year old pump worth $629... does it get repaired/refurbished and sent back out to someone else? What is the life expectancy of this $629 pump that only needs to maintain a steady amount of air pressure? And lastly, don't buy this bed until you have asked all the pertinents in regards to cost of ownership... i.e. a I8 King with split top and mechanical base with Sleep IQ came in at $9000 and change. It has a 25-year warranty which isn't worth the paper it is written on as in our case the additional cost of ownership will be $600 annually for sheets and every other year you will spend at least $200 for a new pump. So that would be 200 x 12 over the expected 25 year life of the bed, plus 600 x 25 for 2 sets of sheets per year. $9000 + $15000 (Sheets $600 x 25 years), + $2400 for pumps.

    So the low ball cost for this bed in 25 years assuming absolutely nothing else goes wrong... VERY doubtful... is $26,400. Sleep Number, if you are reading this, please send me a check for $5000 and take my 2.5 year old King size Sleep Number I8 out of my house if you can't show me a OEM pump manufacture invoice for $629 which your customer service agent Danielle was adamant was your cost. I have added my order number on the replacement pump so Sleep Number can respond to me directly. ConsumerAffairs!! Please help!!

    Instead of me documenting the problems that I have had with our new Sleep Comfort 360 Smart Bed, I will just copy the letter I just sent to their Customer Service Representative Ashley concerning our experience with the bed. We sent the email on 7-23-2017 at 19:48 EST:

    I spoke to you about a week and a half ago concerning our recently purchased Sleep Comfort 360 Bed. Our Customer Number is **. We received the bed over 3 weeks ago and have had continuous problems with the remote losing connectivity with the pump and the Dual Temperature Controller since the day we got it which is well documented with your technical support department. I have called and had conversations with your customer support (4) four times now. You were the fourth correspondence. As your records indicate, I have done a factory reset over 15 times and the same problem continues to occur again and again. You scheduled your service technician to replace the pump controller this past Friday (approximately 60 hours ago). Your technicians arrived promptly and completed the task. They admitted that they had no experience with this new bed but they were cordial and did their assigned task.

    As has been the normal, the bed and the remote control communications worked properly after they installed the new pump just as it always does after a factory reset for a day or two. Unfortunately, it just lost connectivity again and I will have to go thru the arduous task of factory resetting the bed again. It will work for a day or two and then lose connectivity again requiring me to pull my very heavy bed out from the wall to unplug it for the 16th or 17th time while performing your factory reset. You have instructed me that the power chord must be directly plugged into a wall outlet which necessitates the moving of the bed since I cannot plug the pump controller into a high quality surge protector; as most people would do with this type of equipment.

    I have had two of your sleep comfort beds in the past and they worked flawlessly. I am not a complainer, but we paid over $10,000.00 for this bed and it does not work properly or satisfactorily in any way. I have included three pictures showing the two error codes that the remote controller displayed tonight as well as which functions were grayed out. My watch is in the picture to indicate the date and time.

    This is not acceptable to us. I have documented every error code and malfunction very accurately. I would like you to respond in a timely manner and tell me what your Company intends to do to correct this situation. I would like a response in writing. If you are unable to fix the bed malfunctions within two weeks, I would like you to remove the bed and we will use our former sleep comfort bed that has always worked very well. I hope that Sleep Comfort can remedy this problem as we love the bed when it is working. We have been very patient but this is not acceptable.

    We really liked our first purchase with Sleep Number. We purchased a second time from them and got a box spring because we wanted to be able to control the two sides of the bed separately for hardness. We went to the store in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania when we lived there. The sales associates were very knowledgeable as well as helpful, not pressuring at all. They all had personal experience with owning Sleep Number bed as well so that made it very easy to talk to them about the beds. We really like the overall quality of the product and if we had to buy another bed, we would definitely get another Sleep Number. It was a great experience and we’re very glad we did it.

    We purchased a Sleep Number Bed around the first of June. The sales rep was energetic and the big "Hype" was "What do you have to lose? If you don't like it you can send it back!" Within a week, I knew the pillow was not going to work for me. My call to the store told me I could not return it. Apparently there is a clause in the contract that says "accessories" cannot be returned. After a lot of calls, they finally agreed I could return it. Within two weeks of purchasing the bed my husband and I knew the bed just was not comfortable and wanted to return it. Since the sales person kept saying we had 100 days to try it out and if we did not like it we could "send it back! What do you have to lose!"

    Again the store said we could not return the bed! The paperwork says only the mattress is returnable, not the whole bed! The mattress is just an overpriced air mattress, and they will not take back the mechanical base. They also charge you to come pick it up ($179). Their product is not as good as their advertising. Too much of a build up and disappointing results. Very angry about the whole experience.

    I'm an avid review writer for great products and also for poor products, with many followers. I write this review with much disappointment. My boyfriend and I both have had back trouble in the past with each having different needs as far as mattress firmness. He requires very firm, and I medium. We purchased our SN bed in Feb 2017, thinking this was the best way to meet both of our needs. The purchase was extremely pricey, and we're still paying on it. The delivery was horrible, as the delivery guys both left greasy, sweaty hand prints (stained) on 3/4 of our bedroom walls, without acknowledging it or apologies. Fortunately, a lady I spoke with (after going through MANY other customer support staff) was able to offer compensation by refunding the delivery fee.

    As for the bed itself, in the first month, we were excited about our new king-sized bed and the novelty. We *thought* we found our correct number settings. After 2 months, both of our backs were feeling worse. We both felt stiff getting out of bed, more than before the purchase. We both changed our settings, thinking that was our problem and that's what our sales rep advised. After another month, we were feeling miserable. Unfortunately, by this time, it was too late for us to back out. We were locked into keeping the bed while still paying on it.

    Here we are, 5 months later, and we both haven't slept soundly in 2 weeks. I am in so much pain WHILE I am sleeping, as I am when I get out of bed. I even had a dream that I was trying to sell the bed. It's affecting us literally night and day. Sadly, I've even resorted to going back to sleeping in my old bed in the guest room. This bed is taking a toll on our lives. We are at a loss and don't know what to do at this point. We don't want a new compressor, we don't want a new anything except a full refund to give the bed back.

    I recently purchased an i8 Innovation Series split top king. The experience so far has been extremely poor. When the bed was first installed it took 6 hours due to failures with the obstruction sensors with the bed. The bed would go up and it wouldn't lay flat again because the sensors were malfunctioning. The technicians couldn't resolve the issue and left the malfunctioning bed. They said they would "rush a replacement." Nearly a month later (not rushed) the install team is here again and the new bed isn't working either.

    They say the new bed thinks it's a standard king instead of a split so the actuators won't work. They want to leave the bad bed again and I'm making them stay to resolve the issue. I personally had to call the local store to get the parts they needed to fix the bed. They are still here working. There is clearly no quality control before the beds are shipped. I have now lost almost two full days of work dealing with these botched installations and they want more of my time to communicate with customer support about the issue. I would not recommend the Innovation Series bed to anyone.

    I GOT SWINDLED!!! I went into the store to get a bed. All the beds are set up to make it seem like they are beds. They are glorified air mattresses!!! I got told I had a 100% money back 100 night in home trial guarantee and when I called two week after I have tried to sleep on it they said I would have to pay $200!!! I am sick to my stomach with everything. They messed up on my time for delivery and they were late making me extra late for work costing me even MORE money. The people who came and set it up did a really poor job and the person on the phone when I tried to return it was horrible. I suggest you go somewhere else and go fast!!!

    Every night when my fiancé got in bed it would make my side go up and I would practically fall out of bed. When I called that's when they said "stabilizer this" and "more padding that" things it should come with in the first place with the amount of money you shell out to this disgusting company. I am horrified and I hope no one else has to go through what I did. With everything I had to go through they messed up my credit too.

    Update: When I posted on Sleep Number's website they refused to post it. This is no way to do business! I wrote this word for word and there is nothing inappropriate about my review except that it is the 100% truth.

    I paid close to $9,500 for a Sleep Number bed (model 10). I cannot say how disappointed I am in the company and the support of its product. My bed stopped working so I called the company and was told that it was the product of another company and was no longer a Sleep Number issue, and that the problem now was that of the base manufacturer. Just as a note the check that I wrote at the time of purchase was to Sleep Number and not the base manufacturer. This was as far as I was concerned a total passing of the buck.

    I called and spoke with someone at the corporate offices named Izzy, who claimed he represented the company. He said that just because I was unhappy that I shouldn't blame Sleep Number but instead should be unhappy with the base manufacturer. I told him my dealings were with Sleep Number and not the base manufacturer a concept he failed to recognize. My advice to anyone thinking of doing business with this company... Steer clear and go elsewhere!

    My wife wanted a new bed and she decided on the Sleep Number. She’s been talking about it for several years. The sales professionals were very nice and they seemed to know a whole lot about the product. Since my wife already picked out the bed, I just went over there, and checked it out. They had all kinds of little things about indentations in the bed and that was interesting. We got the whole thing and it would tell us how well we slept the night. It’s got a little computer stuff and would adjust up and down separately. The delivery went fine and my wife said everything was perfect as I wasn’t there at the time. When I came home, the bed was ready.

    I played around with my Sleep Number and I’d sleep very good according to the little computer. However, the cost was outrageous. But then again, anything to keep my wife happy. When I tried to pay my Sleep Number bill at the Synchrony Bank, they wouldn’t tell me my customer number and I couldn’t get into the website. They finally had to send me something in the mail. It was very frustrating, but it’s just a minor thing. Everything seemed to be working out well right now. I got two 80-pound dogs trying to jockey for space on the bed and they love it too. One of them has its own pillow and would sleep on the bed every night. Overall, a very good product.

    I've had the Sleep Number bed for more than a year now and it's been great. The sales professionals were very helpful. My wife and I tested out everything they had on the floor. The different numbers and whatnot were rather confusing while we were there and we just picked one out by the look of it and what felt good to us. The two delivery guys were in and out and were great. They took everything out, set our Sleep Number bed up, and did some explaining. It was clear they knew exactly what they were doing. They also tested it and showed us how it worked.

    I'm very happy with the quality of our bed so far. It doesn't have any sign of the permanent dent that I make in a mattress (I'm a big man and I destroy a bed in about one year). So, we're off to a good start. Plus, I am comfortable and I'm not trying to roll out of a pit that I'd formed. It's been an excellent experience and I've said nothing but positive things about Sleep Number to anybody I've spoken with about it since.

    We've had Sleep Number beds already for a good 10 years and this king-size iLE is our fourth one. We liked the Sleep Number bed we have, which is a king-size P6 or P7, but they don't make that particular one anymore. But we were just going to a king-size bed and we liked the iLE mattress and pillow top. We purchased the bed a couple of months ago and we had a very good experience with the sales professional. She was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous, everything you would want from a customer service or sales person. She showed us all the products and we talked about them for a while. We had the product we purchased shipped to us. But we haven't even unboxed and set it up yet because we're renovating our house and we're not quite done yet.

    We recently moved from Texas to Tennessee and we had to take a couple of our Sleep Number beds apart and move them here. Putting them together was straightforward and very simple. We love the Sleep Number products that we've had, otherwise, we wouldn't have bought another one. They're not the cheapest beds, so there's a reason why we keep buying Sleep Number.

With my old bed, I used to wake up with strained muscles in my neck, my lower back, and even my chest. But after about a month of sleeping on our Sleep Number bed, my pain went away. Also after finding my wife's sleep number, her hip pain is gone. We were blown away by how much more comfortable our Sleep Number was compared to our old bed. Also, their sales reps were super knowledgeable and the delivery guys were in-and-out really quick but they explained how to use the remote. We were very pleased. I went down to the store first and then I came home for a little bit and then I went back. I got the adjustable bed and the mattress, which were about $4500 from the time I got all done.     I was having back issues so I bought a bed from Sleep Number. It’s great and I wasn’t pressured into doing anything I didn’t want to do. The delivery experience was fine. My items showed up at the house. It was on time and the delivery team asked us what we wanted to do and then they set it up. The only issue we had was they told us all the key features of the bed when we purchased it. And then when we got it home, the wireless part where you can monitor your sleep habit doesn't work, and it never has. We sent an email and never heard anything else from it and I never followed it up. Other than that, I enjoy the product and I like it.     I purchased a Sleep Number mattress and a base, and the delivery was fine but it is one of the worst beds I've ever purchased. I didn't like the way that the mattress felt so I purchased the mattress topper to go on top of it, which is fine. It'll do for now. But as soon as I get a chance, I'm going to replace this bed. Also, I paid much money for this but the base is plastic and the two mattresses placed are just filled with air. I relied on Sleep Number's Consumer Reports score and so I bought their bed.     I heard from other people talking that they had the Sleep Number and how it's comfortable. My wife likes the softer bed and I like the harder bed and this bed allowed us to set it up the way we want it. The salesperson that we dealt with was great and knowledgeable.     My wife has been hearing all these people talk about how great the Sleep Number bed is. We were also in the market for a new bed so we bought one. We also got the pillows, stain cover and the Tempur cover. When we bought the products, the people we dealt with were okay. The delivery team was very respectful of my house and they put on their booties and they did a good job. The bed is good for some people, but my wife and I hate it. It makes us sweat. I also have a bad back and I can't find a setting that doesn't cause me pain. And sadly, you only have 100 days to test it and it’s not enough. I was still checking everything out and making sure it was okay then when I realized the bed is not helping me at all, I hadn't been up and down the spectrum and it was past the return period. So, I'm stuck with the $2,000 bed.

    I'm not going to call them and whine about it. If it’s outside the period, then it is. I work in retail so I understand that every company has their rules and regulations. I'm not one of those people that try to think they're special and should deserve special treatment. It's that simple. With not being satisfied with the product, at no fault to them, I can't say bad things. But at the same point, I can't say, "Hey, their beds are great." With not having luck with their products, it's hard to say, "Oh yeah, you need to try it." But I'd recommend them.

    I am writing a review to let potential customers that Sleep Number would rather lose a sale and have to issue a refund rather than come to a reasonable resolution with their customers when something goes wrong. I bought a Sleep Number mattress and box support over Memorial Day weekend. I was told it would fit into my bed frame. I told the store that my building had delivery time restrictions, and the representative said it wasn't a problem. It was delivered a few weeks later and installed in my bed frame. Strangely, one week later my existing bed frame collapsed. The wood frame just broke and I had to throw out my bed frame. So I called The Sleep Number store and asked them if anyone ever had this problem and they said no never.

    So I ordered the bed through them which they said would be delivered in three weeks. They gave me a 2pm - 6pm delivery window, so I called to tell them that my building had restrictions as to time. They told me they would again note it in the file. However, on the delivery day, they called to tell me they were running late and so they wouldn't be coming until after 6. When I complained to both the delivery time and customer service, they both said tough luck basically. They said they could not accommodate delivery time preferences even if it was a building rule, which is contrary to what I was told in the store. And they would not even try to reschedule me for a day when they could put me first or second.

    They were satisfied instead, with me cancelling an order that was in excess of $2,000. So now I have a mattress and box support directly on the floor, and I can't return the mattress without losing $800 on the deal which is the cost of two delivery fees, drop off and pick up, as well as the cost of the associated mattress cover accessories that they talked me into purchasing. This company is the worst!!!

    We heard a lot of good things about Sleep Number. We could adjust each side to what felt comfortable for us. But we are experiencing problems with it right now. We changed the batteries of the remote because it was low and when we did that, a notice popped up that there was something wrong with our mattress. It’s strange because I can’t adjust each side. My husband’s side is extremely soft and he doesn’t like it that way. And we cannot get it to go back to where it should be at around 55 and it’s at 85. The remote will not let me adjust the mattress. And that’s the only way we’ve been told how to do it. I don’t know if I can do it without a remote.

    I was going to call the 1800 number or call the Sioux store where we bought them. We don’t live close to it. We need to drive two hours to get to them. But other than this problem we’re having right now, the quality is fine. We’re hoping that when we call, they can fix that and it won’t add cost to us. But right now, I’m not really happy.

    Everything was great except the bed!! P5 Sleep Number Bed. The people and customer service was great, but since we have slept on the bed, we are very disappointed! My wife has had hip pain since the day we got it. We have tried different settings to no avail. It's also too hot. When you set on the edge it crushes down to the box frame! It's to the point where my wife may have to switch to another bed to get some sleep!! We have only slept 5 days on it, but I don't see how it's going to be better. So just called customer service and they can not do a return until you have slept 30 terrible nights on it. Apparently 5 isn't enough to know that it is causing new pains!!? I would highly recommend for comfort and cost to stick to a good inner spring mattress!!

    I ordered a Sleep Number bed on April 1st at a home show. Sleep Number had no problem in billing my VISA account the full amount on the very same day (including a $179 delivery charge). I asked for a delay for a May delivery so that we could have some time to donate our existing mattress/foundation to a local shelter and to repaint the bedroom. Fast forward to May, we have been given 4 delivery dates that have not been met and are now on delivery date #5 (July 28th!). Customer Lack-of-Service is no help at all.     Husband and I purchased this Split queen bed with separate controls sometime in 2001. From the beginning we were excited to have this Bed. We spent good money like 6,000. Now before we purchased this bed we used to be really great cuddlers. Loved to spoon. But who likes to sleep in the crack of a bed. I hate this bed. I refuse to cuddle anymore because who likes to sleep in the crack. I feel like I sleep on a twin size bed way over to the side of the bed.     We bought our first Sleep Number mattress 17 years ago, but we wanted a new one. My husband had been sick and it needed to be replaced. We went to Georgetown to order one and they had a lot of trouble. We had to order and they cancelled and then they called back and said that they didn’t have it in the warehouse. It was crazy but we finally got it. All the reps we dealt with were very good too. They’re friendly, answered all our questions and got our purchase set up the best they could. It wasn’t their fault the delivery was delayed. That was all something that happened later and they kept apologizing.

    We bought a set of sheets then we got one free. They're supposed to be the cooling sheet. But the sheets are terrible and I don’t like them at all. I told Sleep Number that in my survey. They are $169 for the king size sheets and when you wash them, they look like they’ve been rolled up in a ball in a corner somewhere. I had to iron them. I can’t stand the top of the sheet being all wrinkled up and nasty. When I fold the one sheet corner to corner, the bottom part is almost two inches wider than the top part of the sheet. I was very disappointed in that.

    However, I like the Sleep Number mattress. They're extra thick mattresses now. I like to sleep in it that's why we got one. I like that it’s adjustable on each side because I like it hard and my husband likes it softer so it makes it really comfortable. It was more expensive though to get the separate side that raised up. It was a great experience and we’re very happy with it. We told our friend how much we liked our bed so they bought a new queen-sized mattress because she has asthma. But, if she had to raise the bed up then her partner was raised up as well. He had to go up on the couch and sleep so that wasn’t very good.

    I bought a Sleep Number base model in 2005 because my wife was very picky at the time. I let her have her own hardness of mattress and I'd have mine. I fell in love with it. Then I moved and gave my bed to my son and so I bought a new one. It costs a million dollars but I love it. I got the split king, fully adjustable head, feet, with all the bells and whistles.

    Michael, the sales representative was fantastic and he took care of everything. I had more questions because I got a couple of other things like a mattress cover which was kind of crunchy at the beginning. I went back, talked to him and he said that the cover just needed to wear in a little bit. Then the delivery team put it all together and set it up. They also set up the number and helped me set up the Wi-Fi connection thing with my phone and it's awesome that I can control the bed using my phone. I drive a truck, I'm in that thing two weeks out of the month and I would have loved to have a Sleep Number bed in there. It's the best Sleep I've ever had and the adjustability of it was fantastic. If I have heartburn, I just tilt the head a little bit more and I'm good. I would recommend it to everybody.

    We were promised a firm delivery date in writing by the salesperson at the Sleep Number store and moved our existing bed to another location because of that promise. 4 days before delivery they called us to say that there would be at least a 2 1/2 week delay. First you pay $7000 for a bed and they charge you $179 to deliver it and then within your 100 night trial, if you're not pleased with the bed they charge you another $179 to pick it up.     We paid for a new bed at the end of May 2017. Our initial delivery day was set for June 15 2017. We put our current bed into storage on June 12 in anticipation of the promised delivery. On June 13 we received a call telling us our bed would be delayed an additional 3 WEEKS. They were not apologetic on the phone at all. Only after vocalizing our displeasure did the caller offer to waive the delivery charge and give us free sheets. I have been forced to sleep on an air mattress for three weeks and due to asthma and major health issue my wife has slept in a chair. This is unacceptable!

    The new delivery date was set for July 7 2017. On July 3rd we were called again and told it would be another 3 WEEKS DELAY. I went into the local Sleep Number store where I originally purchased the bed to talk to my sales rep Natalie. She was shocked and appalled. Both she and another rep Danny had no idea until that day that there was any problems with production and delayed deliveries. They recommended we ask for complimentary upgrades to both the base and mattress due to this completely unacceptable service. They implied it would be no problem and that these upgrades are entirely possible and might even get our bed delivered quicker. Natalie emailed her district manager right then with the information on what upgraded mattress and base we wanted. We were promised this DM would be in contact shortly. As of today this person has never contacted us. Another fail.

    I called Natalie on July 7 to let her know we had not heard back and she said she would have someone call us. The next call was from Emily later that day. After speaking with our "case manager" Emily the company is attempting to deny these reasonable and valid requests. This company deserves to be held responsible financially to the recommendations of its sales staff. We deserve these upgrades for this complete and utter failure of this company to deliver on its promises. They have had $8000 of our money for weeks and have not done anything but fail on all counts. We demand a response, and an appropriate compensation for this fiasco.

We also talked to other people that owned a Sleep Number and determined that it was the one we were looking for. They have a great customer service. We already knew exactly what we wanted when we went in there and they didn't try to upsell us. The delivery was fine as well. We've set it up ourselves and the bed is durable.     We've been spending money on mattresses throughout our lives and most of them don't last for a few years, even the ones that I bought that were supposed to be half decent. It's as though they were a waste of money. At one point, I even had one of those foam beds like Casper. So we thought it was time to get something that's higher quality, adjustable and that's going to last. The Sleep Number bed was a little bit of an investment and it's not like we're dripping with money either. We're just regular folks but it was worth the investment. A neighbor of mine actually has an old Sleep Number and she's had it for years.

    We also got some bedding stuff like sheets and it came with free travel neck pillows. The Sleep Number sales professionals were pretty good and knowledgeable. I didn't feel like I was being pushed and I never had a problem with them. As a matter of fact, they helped me out when I had to delay the delivery. I was painting and fixing up my bedroom at the time so they delivered it first and came back to assemble when I was ready. They were pretty cool about it. So far, the mattress has been really good. I have a problem sleeping and this helps because it's really like a hospital bed where you can lift the head up. There's also firmness on both sides and everything works. We've even recommended it to a couple of people.

    My husband and I have very different sleeping requirements and the Sleep Number is the one mattress that worked. We tried some other ones but they're hot, like the Tempur-Pedic. The Sleep Number sleeps very cool. This queen size mattress is our second Sleep Number. I bought the first one about 18 years ago. Sleep Number took over a company called, "Select Comfort," which is what our first bed actually was, but it was the same bed. The reason we had to buy a new one, a new Sleep Number, was because the O-ring in the Select Comfort got bad and one chamber was leaking. We contacted them and worked on it with a lot of different people. They were all very, very nice but they didn't have the parts for the Select Comfort.

    We went to a state fair and they always have a big discount. But we decided to buy local, 'cause the service is always so good. They were knowledgeable and they didn't try to upscale it, we knew what we wanted. The mattress was delivered in about eight days in four big boxes. It's a bunch of pieces of foam that go inside of like a big pillow case, and then you inflate it. It's pretty simple to assemble.

    We’re happy with our new bed and we're getting ready to buy another one for our trailer. They don't require any special babysitting just to stay good. With another mattress, when we took our other one apart several times to move, there is no bed bug or anything in it, because it's just air. There's no place for those little critters to hide, which is always a nice cleanliness factor. I'll recommend them completely. Our adult children never want to sleep on our bed. They hate it because you got to get used to it for a few nights. So, we never have to worry about anybody's stealing our bed.

    We've only had Tempur-Pedic for a long time and we decided we were ready for a change. We had an opportunity to sleep on a Sleep Number and my wife really enjoyed it. And so, we purchased a bed, mattress, and sheets from them. We recommended them to my daughters and now, both of them have Sleep Number on. While their sales professional got my email address incorrect initially which caused some problems in getting set up, my interactions with her were mostly good. They were very considerate of whether it was going to be in my way. It's a wonderful bed but I have a really bad back problem. And I have a problem getting in and out of the bed.     I purchased a Sleep Number bed today and the saleslady was more concerned about upselling me than selling me what I actually needed. I told her several times that I did not want certain items and she continuously added and she had to go back and delete stuff. I did want to keep one of the items but I had to compensate for the delivery and it got so crazy I just want to get out the store. It got so bad that she even included in home delivery and the delivery date was 30+ days away even though I told her that I did not want in home delivery. It was terrible, she was trying everything for me to keep the in home delivery even when I told her that I would have to go 3 weeks without a mattress. She suggested to lend me her mattress, so I would not be without a mattress. I thank her for the mattress, but it was weird.

    So, anyway I had to stay an additional 45-1hr because we had to contact customer service to do the return and then setup expedite shipping. The salesperson said that the date has already been schedule and it was going to be hard to change. So when I finally got someone to talk to me about the other shipping option, I was told that I still may not get the bed until July 28 or Aug 2 for regular shipping. This was crazy, so I ended up paying $400 for expedited shipping to ensure that I would have a mattress. I really hope I enjoy the mattress better than the shopping experience.

    We were having a lot of problems with stiffness, soreness, and backaches. When we shopped around, we realized that I liked the softer mattress and my husband liked the much firmer one.     We previously purchased a Sleep Number bed and were happy with it. Our daughter tried it out and she kicked us out of the room. She likes it also so she wanted another one as it was time to get her another bed. We bought the adjustable bed frame with the first one. My wife and I have back problems and we thought that the adjustable bed would be a good idea. Turned out that was a waste of money as it didn’t help either one of us unless we sleep perfectly flat, so the adjustable bed didn’t do as much good. It was a bigger outlay of money for the adjustable frame, not because there was anything wrong with the bed frame, it just didn’t work for us. Now we bought a couple set of sheets which are overpriced but that’s okay. All three of us are sleeping on the memory foam pillows and we like the Sleep Number pillows. So, as far as the pillows and the mattresses go, we couldn’t be happier.

    The person at the Robinson Township PA at the Sleep Number store in the mall, Steven, is a good guy. The people that delivered our bed this most recent time were very pleasant, professional and cordial. All the things that Sleep Number would want them to be, they were. They were very nice and did a good job of what they needed to do. My wife and I have no complaints about the quality of our bed and our daughter is happy with it too. I would highly recommend the product.

    We've had Sleep Number products for 15 years and recently purchased the bed and mattress. The delivery was fine. The only thing we would change would be that we had a mattress pad on the other one but this model doesn't have enough. I get a super huge, thick bottom sheet. One has to be an engineer to figure out how to drive the remote control to do the air thing. The other one was much simpler. Somebody has the job in this company to make changes based upon whatever they want to come up with, but they didn't want to assist an old man now. But other than that, they're a good bed.

    I purchased this bed & it was delivered 3/10/17. The setup was suppose to take 2 hours and they were in and out in 20 mins & the setup was lopsided and the mattress "insides" wasn't even correct. It took 3 weeks for someone to come take the "insides" out and redo it and adjust the legs. I got a call from a customer service person named Tracy and she's been great. She refunded the delivery fee & agreed to return the sheets that ripped and replace with the imbalance pad & refund the SleepIQ because it wasn't compatible with my internet speed per the tech department. The cooling pad didn't feel cool to the touch so she ask me to take it to the store for comparison. I did and the store just contradicted everything she said yet they have no empowerment. They "couldn't" switch out the pad even though they agreed it too was defective.

    Greg, our sales rep escalates the complaint and we get a call from a guy named Aaron but in the end talked with Bob. I am done with the bed because it stopped working on one side. The customer service is awful and I can only imagine how long I would have to wait for a repair. I have been waiting one month for a credit for the sheets to be applied to my account. I'm tired of the waiting and just want to walk away from this company. They WILL NOT refund the adjustable base which was $2899.99 but then agreed to with a $500 restocking fee. Do not buy. If I could rely on the product and had not had so many problems I would be keeping their bed. This is not a case where "I just don't want the bed." This is about poor craftsmanship and customer service (except for Tracy)! A good quality bed doesn't have issues in the first 3-4 months! It's like there isn't a corporate office but several marketing phone lines.

    We recently purchased our second Sleep Number bed, due to medical conditions that my wife and I have. We bought the bed on about May 28th, with delivery on June 24th. That date came and they re-scheduled the delivery date to July 8th. Got my confirmation call that they would deliver that day, then a few hours later I got an email that they now think that can deliver the bed on July 22nd. The first time they re-scheduled, they claimed it was due to part shortage. Ok... maybe they do have part delivery issues. Now, they claim it is due to freight issues. I have been delayed again, now because they have "freight" issues... really!!! It appears to me that someone got high enough up the food chain, and got my bed ahead of me.     I have a really bad back, and bought a Sleep Number queen-sized bed with the dual control last year. The sales professional was very nice and the delivery team was excellent, fast and efficient. We have our own bed frame and used that and then they put their base and mattress on. We also got a mattress cover so that got us some 24-inch lounge pillows. We like and appreciate those, and we love the bed. It was a huge expenditure for us and it’s not going to heal my back but it’s done me a world of good.     I've owned Sleep Number products since '99 and I regularly get brochures from them. I got the FlexFit base recently and the set came with an M-series topper and a couple of pillows. The sales guy was superb and fantastic. We had a book of coupons and he searched for the best deals for us. He was very much working for our interests and we had a great time.

    However, we told him that we didn’t want the bed right up against the wall. We wanted some space and for the bed to be under our ceiling fan. We also told him we had a headboard and they’d have to take away the old bed. He said that wasn’t going to be a problem but he might have gotten a little too ambitious. When the delivery team came out, they said they're not attaching the headboard or taking away the old bed. We had to pay extra to have the headboard attached and for the trash people to pick up the old bed. I’m disappointed because of the disconnect of what we were told in the shop and what actually happened during delivery. It was a very unhappy experience.

    Other than that, the delivery team set up the bed fine and it seems to work. But we keep getting glitches and the wireless remote keeps telling us that it’s lost connection to the controller once a week. It says there's a system problem and then it clears itself up. Otherwise, the bed works great and I love it. We've been sleeping better in it and it's wonderful.

    We have the delivery date of 6/29. We were NOT called 1-2 days before delivery for our delivery window. We were NOT called the day of to confirm that they were on their way. I had to call the morning of delivery (Thursday) and was given the delivery time window of 10am-2pm. As soon as I hung up the phone, the delivery men were ringing my doorbell. They took my old mattress out and set it on the wet and dirty street. After 30 minutes they realized they couldn’t set up the bed because they had 2 left-side bases. Everything else was right except the one base. They then loaded everything back on the truck and brought my wet and dirty mattress back into my bedroom. We were told we would receive a call that day from someone. We did not receive a phone call.

    We called Monday – First person told us they tried to deliver on Saturday but we “refused delivery” and they can’t seem to find our mattress… We were home the entire day. They can offer us $350 off and free delivery… The mattress is currently $500 LESS than when we bought it and we already had free delivery. How is this compensating us for anything? We are already returning the terribly rock-hard Air Fit pillow and due to the extremely disappointing Sleep Number customer service we are considering canceling our bed order. Your beds might be amazing but your customer service sucks!

    My parents have a Sleep Number and it was really fun. My mom used to let the air in and out to adjust it. I've had my Sleep Number C2 for a little over a year, and also got the memory foam topper, the gel, and two pillows. The salesman was really good, kind, helpful and very well informed. He told us the difference between a Maple mattress and the Sleep Number, and how we'd be getting way more for our money by going with Sleep Number. The delivery team was very friendly, too. They set up the bed and took the time to show me how to do it, in case I needed to move my bed anywhere and if I ever had to take the parts.

    However, I don't like the C2 as it's not as comfortable. I wish I had gotten a different model. There's a definite difference between my bed and my parents', and the couple other ones that I tried out at the store. But for what I needed, it's so much better than what I had. I prefer it if there are no coils. For now, my bed is fine, but I will eventually be upgrading to another Sleep Number.

    I am a handicapped elderly woman who lives alone. I purchased a queen size Sleep Number bed and I am greatly disappointed. I have had this bed for 2-1/2 years and the top is sagging, the bed top slides sideways off the bed as well as slides down off the bottom. There is nothing to hold the mattress in place. I called to complain and was told if I wanted it fixed it was going to cost me a lot of money. I already paid $5500 for this bed and you would think it would be of a better quality. I am on a fixed income and it took me a long time to validate the thought of buying it in the first place. I will be moving soon and I am not going to pay the movers to take this piece of crap on their truck. It will be going to the dump where it belongs. Next time it will be Craftmatic.

    I have back problems and sciatica, and I thought that Sleep Number would help. The guy that sold it to me also has sciatica and it helped him so I was comfortable getting it. But then I thought that I got a lemon. I've had it for a year and I haven't noticed any changes. I got the adjustable one that comes up and down. I have the pillow-top thing too which is awful because when it sinks down, it stays down. It doesn’t fluff back up. However, the professionals were good and did what they supposed to do whenever they're here. The delivery people put it together for hours but I wasn't antsy about it. They showed me how to use the control and cleaned up the stuff that they left.

    But then I'd tell others not to get the pillow-top and to think about buying a Sleep Number ‘cause it’s a lot of money. I spent over $4,000. They need to be really careful about that. And if they have any complaints about it at all, they have to get rid of it while it’s under warranty. I wouldn’t buy another one as I’m not pleased with it at all.

    I figured that Sleep Number was a better bed than a regular conventional bed. I got one about a year ago and the delivery guys explained everything and put it all together really nice. The overall quality is pretty good but it needs a little bit more tweaking and it could have some updates on it. It's got the bumpers on each side and I got to get in in a certain way so they don't buckle. I got the one that splits on top and every once in a while, it shifts. It should have something more to keep it together a little bit more. They should give more time to try it out 'cause you're not spending a little bit of money. In addition, the package deal between the mattress and the bottom part of the bed that holds it all together was a little costly.

    I researched and learned that with a Sleep Number bed, I could adjust it for my pain and be comfortable as I have arthritis. I talked to their sales reps and they were very nice and helpful. The delivery people were very efficient and clean. My other mattress was good but with my Sleep Number, I can adjust the air if I need it soft or if I need it harder for my pain and my back.     We had a Tempur-Pedic that was horrible and we hated it and we personally gave it away to get rid of it. We had heard about the Sleep Number and it did the trick. It was my husband that it brought up. Before we married, he had seen the Sleep Number at the mall and a couple of people also recommended it to him. The sales representative at Sleep Number was great and in fact, we didn’t intend to buy that night but he so informative and we decided to go ahead and do it. Then we had a great experience when the delivery team set the bed up and they solved any questions we have.

    We got Sleep Number twin mattresses and used the king size bed frame we had from the Tempur-Pedic. We could adjust our own side and it really has worked out well. It's a little unhandy to make up though. We want to extremely recommend that they put handles on the side of the mattresses and this will be a lot easier for us. Also, my husband said that we're supposed to get 2 remotes, one for my side and his side. The delivery people had only one. They gave me an old used remote but it’s no longer working and we couldn't make it back to the store as it's about 60 miles from our house. Nonetheless, we’re sleeping well with the Sleep Number and we'd recommend it to a lot of people.

    We saw a Sleep Number at the Cobb Galleria. We were looking for a bed and we were interested. The sales associate said that we could try the bed for 100 days and we could also finance it. If we don't like it, we can return it. That's good. But it didn't work for us. We sleep very close together and the Sleep Number is not for people that sleep touching one another. And we also purchased the cooling pad and the protection pad for a few $100. It had a memory box that ate up a lot of our data on our internet. Because of how far out we live, data's important. So, we had to unplug that. We called to say that this just isn't for us, and the customer service reps told us we’ll have to pay the fee. We were charged the delivery fee to return the products. We got to try a bed for 90 days that we did not like and it cost us $700.

    When you tell people that you can try a bed for free for how many days, you don't anticipate a cost of that magnitude on a product that cost $4000. $700 is half of what I could have a really good mattress for. We were really taken to this bank, and on top of that, we had asked them to delay delivery because we were building a house and we wanted it delivered to our new home. We had free interest up to two years with Synchrony Bank where we're financing everything through. They wanted immediate payments for the financing for the bed we didn't even have yet. So, on top of not liking the product, having to pay for delivery and $700 to have nothing in the end for a couple of mattress covers and the bank demanding payments every month for a product we didn't have, it was a horrible experience.

    In the very beginning, had we known it would cost us so much to try a product, we never would have even wanted to try it. With that thought of free, to see if we like this $4000 bed because that is a huge investment in a product of that nature, we liked that concept. But in the end, it wasn't worth it. The sales people wanted to bring out another one, but if it's still set up the same way, it's not the product for my husband and I. We did not sleep on separate sides of the bed and there’s a big bar in the middle where you adjust it. Also, it didn't help our back at all. It was too firm for me and my side and I could never get right for the midsection of my back. So, I didn't like it. There’s no way I would ever recommend a Sleep Number to anybody.

    I am utterly frustrated with this company! I called early on Monday morning, June 26th to order a new pump for my bed because the plastic tube piece broke. I requested overnight shipping because it is the only bed I have and would have to sleep on the floor until I got the pump. The part did not get shipped until Friday! This is unbelievable to me that it takes 5 days and a half, because it didn't get to UPS until 6:30 pm, in this day and age, to put a part in the mail!

    They knew how urgently I needed this because I told the salesperson and I asked for overnight shipping which is an additional $50. As if this lengthy time to ship wasn't enough, when it was finally shipped, they didn't ask for Saturday delivery. It was sent overnight but weekday delivery only! That means I will not get this until Monday! That is 8 days from my original phone call! This is unacceptable to me! I have to sleep on the floor for 8 days because this company is so incompetent! This product is a very expensive one, much more than an average bed and this is the service they offer??

    I was told Sleep Number was a good bed. The sales rep was a courteous guy and the delivery team was on time, but they scuffed up my wall a little. I got the top of the line bed and each side can lift individually. However, I had continuous trouble with the bed and didn't like it. The gap between the two sides was too wide and it was uncomfortable. Plus, it wouldn't function half the time. I called a couple times and I was given some instructions to do. I did them, but the issue would come back. I finally got fed up with it, so I returned it. I told them to come get it. Sleep Number is a good company, but the bed had too many flaws in it and I didn't particularly like it. If they're going to send a bed out that costs almost $10,000, they should make sure that it's working properly and it's comfortable.

    Doesn't even deserve 1 star. By far the worst mattress I have ever slept on. Since day one this C4 bed has been nothing but problems. Have called numerous times for someone to come and look at the bed, they say someone will be sent out. To find out they don't have certified technicians. 25 years warranty? Yea okay, like I said since day one nothing but problems and still have not replaced my mattress. Going on OVER 4 WEEKS to get the same replacement parts I already received for the same problem. Defective bed and they won't help me make it right. I would rather sleep on the floor than in this mattress. And they claim it will solve back problems... BS has only made my back problems 10 times worse.

    We ordered our second Sleep Number bed on May the 17th. Long before we needed it for our new home. We gave our other bed away to family in anticipation of our new King bed. Well, 2 days before the delivery date (June 16th) we were called and told it would be July 13th. After a lot of phone calls I finally talked to a manager and she said she could get it there on the 28th of June. We said fine, didn't really have a option. Well guess what, 2 days before it was supposed to be here again, it's delayed again. This time it is a missing piece. I ordered this bed 6 weeks ago. They promise 2 weeks. Customer service acts like they don't care. There is nothing they can do. They can't keep up with demand. Well quit selling the things until you can deliver the ones that you have already sold and been paid for. We are canceling our order this evening and finding another option. Good Bye Sleep Number. You will never get our business again.

    Hello, I just want to say we love our i10 Sleep Number bed. But the delivery and customer service is horrible. Wrong type of bed - non-split, more money after financed completed. Correct type, wrong size. We got king size - Not a California king. Correct bed and size 3 days off from work. Free sheets. Ordered bed frame, month away for delivery. No show. Called (on hold for 30mins) to check and found out it never got shipped out. No reason for not calling us or cancel notice. Request free pillows for wasting my day. Only more sheets. Spend a ton of money and wasted a lot of time. If it wasn't for my wife it would all go back. I have no idea how they got rated Sleep Number customer satisfaction award.

Since I placed the order on Saturday I was forced to waiting until till Monday. After complaining for 30 minutes over the phone I was given a $200.00 credit and promised a delivery of the June 28th.

    Then today on June 24th 4 days before my install date I was informed my order now won't arrive until the 10th of June. Furious I called to complain only to be informed that the order was held due to manufacturing and that all the sale reps in the store were instructed to inform the buyers in advance. So as result I had to wait until July 10th despite my suffering and ailing back. Bottom line was lied to initially by the store rep because I asked how long it'll take. She should have informed me from the start but she didn't because she knew it'll affect her commissions. As result of this deception I'm sleeping on the floor to stabilize my back. This company should not be collecting any more money unless they can deliver on their word. I advise everyone to not buy their products at all because you'll be told two weeks and patiently wait the time only to be informed you'll have to wait two more weeks or we'll give you back your money but not your sleep.

The purchase experience was wonderful, and customer service is great, however, we hate the bed.     Sleep Number bed 7000 - The mattress has lost its shape and is becoming flat and misshapen within the first 2 years after purchase. My husband and I are no longer able to get a good night's sleep. I have purchased the black base along with the mattress as recommended so I am not sure why this is happening. I invested quite a lot of money in this bed and always keep the mattress cover I purchased from Sleep Number clean and on the bed. I also have Sleep Number sheets. This has not prevented the bed from deforming. I called several times and was told it was the air chambers. We checked them every time and even inflated them and plugged them closed with the part provided by Sleep Number. We moved the bed and discovered the bottom grey material under the chambers had ripped causing the sides to collapse and a deep chasm to form in the middle of the mattress.

    We spent around $5,000 on this bed after finance charges and are unable to sleep well. We do not have that kind of money to invest again. Replacement part is almost $700. The product failed. We shouldn't have to pay for a obvious defect. We've had to replace the remote 4 times. 2 of them at our own cost. We are in desperate need of a good night's sleep.

    On Memorial Day weekend of 2016 my husband and I bought a Sleep Number bed. At the time the salesperson told us that if we decided to return the bed we would receive whatever payments we made. We would have to pay for delivery and the setup of the bed and if returned we needed to pay for the removal of the bed. The cost of delivery was $179.99 and removal was $179.99. The mattress cover, costing $219.00, we purchased was not returnable.

    We decided to return the bed and when I didn't receive our payments of $257.00 I called Sleep Number and spoke to Tracy. That is when the nightmare began. She referred us to the credit card company telling us that they were responsible for the return of our payments. After speaking to the credit card company, they told us that we needed to speak to Sleep Number. After another round of phone calls the credit card company told me that Sleep Number did not send enough money and that they would be happy to file a dispute on our behalf. The credit card company filed two disputes with them and to this date we have not heard from Sleep Number.

    Between delivery and pickup and all the other costs involved, Sleep Number now has $657.20 of our money and we have no hope of getting any of this returned. My husband and I are seniors and 657.20 is a lot of money when you are on a fixed income. Customer Service is very kind to you as long as you keep their product but if you don't, they become very difficult to deal with. I will do the best I can to see to it that the public knows about this and thinks twice before making a purchase with Sleep Number.

    I purchased an i10 360 bed on May 14 at one of their stores, was told that a bed that I consider overpriced would not be delivered until June 28, 6 weeks. Reluctantly I said okay, got a call June 22 at night to say delivery would be delayed until July 18, now 9 weeks from order date, they offed a $350 discount, it should have been $5000 for a nine week delivery. At this point I have no confidence that I will ever get my bed. This company does not deserve to be in business. Avoid at all costs. I should sue for breach of contract.

    We ordered the i10 mattress after I spent 3 years talking my husband into spending that much money. Delivery has been scheduled, cancelled and rescheduled twice due to a "foam shortage". No one can tell me if this is related to the particular bed that we ordered or just all Sleep Number foam in general. I am most frustrated that we receive a confirmation call two days prior to delivery and then the day before we receive a call to cancel. You might want to stop making that confirmation call as there seems to be nothing to confirm.

    We have now spent every night since June 9th sleeping in a camper due to this. Once we received the first delivery confirmation call we sold our old mattress. There was no reason for us to believe that this wasn't going to be delivered. If this is related to just the i10, we will happily "settle" for another mattress. At this point we need something to sleep on other than a camper mattress! I've lost all faith in Sleep Number and have began to look at other options for a mattress however it doesn't seem that Sleep Number cares. I also find it incredibly upsetting that you are still taking orders with the foam shortage that obviously is an issue.

    I had conversations with other people that have a Sleep Number bed. I got a queen-size bed that I've had it for seven months now. Sleep Number's sales reps were awesome and they were great to work with. They answered all our questions, were polite, and knowledgeable. The delivery guys were also professional. My brother owns A Sleep Number and he said, "If you had to change your bed, you want your back to feel better, you got to buy one of these." I was skeptical. They were more expensive but I'm amazed. I had back pain before. But since we've had our Sleep Number bed I have not had one morning where I woke up with pain in my back. And my brother told me the same thing.

    We also bought sheets from Sleep Number which were more expensive than what we had purchased in the past but they were awesome. They're the type of sheets that warm up or cool down to one's body. I thought it was a gimmick but it's not. It works. I tell people about the Sleep Number. My daughter came to live with us and we let her and her husband sleep on it for a couple of nights. They were so impressed with the bed that they went out and bought one as well. My son is contemplating buying one at this point as well. Overall, our country would be in better shape if every company was like Sleep Number.

    When I ordered the bed and frame I was told we would receive the items in a week to 10 days. Not true, takes up to two months. Bed finally scheduled for delivery... Date arrives and no call to confirm delivery. Customer service says, "Oh you said you weren't sure it would fit so we didn't schedule it..." After arguing with the "customer service" rep that this was not the case, we learn they never scheduled delivery. Next date scheduled, same thing only to find out bed was ready, frame a month out.

    Coordinated to have the frame delivered separately. The rep didn't bother to put it into the system so again no delivery. This happened yet again on next delivery date. We finally get the bed and now same issues with the frame. We get called to say frame will be delivered the next day. Day of delivery they call to say they don't know where the frame is. Rescheduled. Next delivery day... they don't bother to schedule a technician to come with the frame. Rescheduled. Absolutely ridiculous. Can't imagine what the future maintenance issues requiring service will be like. Don't bother with this company.

    The Sleep Number bed is almost a year old and this is our second one. Initially, we tried it in the store and it was comfortable. The gal that helped us this last time was terrific because she was very knowledgeable about all the different models. However, the delivery team was disappointing. They were very nice young men but they were very, very rushed and didn’t put it all together quite right. We talked to the store people about it and had to do some adjusting ourselves.

    The bed that we purchased was comfortable, but within a month, both sides where we lay became dented. The previous Sleep Number that we had didn’t do that for a few years but this one did it really quickly. However, it was definitely better than the previous mattress that we had a long time ago prior to the first Sleep Number. We recommend it to everybody but I'm a little bit disappointed with the saggy look of the top and it's hard to make the bed up in the morning to make it look nice and flat. But overall, I'm a happy Sleep Number customer and I'd be back again.

    For the past week and change, I've been sleeping on the floor as I await my new mattress. I recently moved and sold my mattress before I moved in anticipation for the delivery of my mattress, which I was told would, was scheduled to ship at most within 7 days. Having called customer service multiple times since placing that order, I've been told in fact the shipping date is anywhere between 14-17 days due to issues in the manufacturing process - but I haven't gotten any firm assurances. So in addition to the time it would take for UPS to deliver the mattress, I'm looking at about a month before I see a mattress and get off the floor.

    While a customer service rep did offer to refund the shipping charge, it's really unacceptable for a mattress to take a month for delivery. More so, to tell me multiple times (in person and email) that it would take 5-7 days to ship from the warehouse, is misleading and unfortunate. As a new customer, I have faith in both the mattress and Sleep Number's customer service, but unfortunately that comes at the cost of my back.

    I ordered my bed on May 11, 2017. I was given a delivery date of 06/22/2017. I requested a delivery of before 12 pm or after 4:30 pm as I had a very important cardiologist appointment during the 11 to 3 window that I could not miss. I was assured by the sales personnel that the time I requested would not be a problem. When I received the text for delivery, after waiting 6 weeks for my bed, the delivery time was for the time I could not be available.     My wife and I purchased an SP5 on June 4th and scheduled delivery for June 21. I've been getting text messages, phone calls and a slew of emails, as recent as yesterday, confirming and confirming our delivery. I flew home this morning, in the middle of a week-long vacation with my wife and daughter to be here for delivery tomorrow, only to receive a phone call at 3:30 pm today (the day before delivery), telling me there was a stock problem and my new delivery date was July 11th.

    Beware if you need replacement parts! First off, I will say I love my bed. Have had it for 7 years. Digits on remote are unreadable so had to order a replacement. Can't order just the remote - had to order the whole pump assembly to get the remote. That was received. HOWEVER, also had to order a new topper. Ordered on May 18. Am being told Sleep Number has no idea when I may get this. Problem with manufacturer. Have no idea when they will get it or when it will be shipped. BUT they have charged my credit card so I have to pay my credit card bill on a product I have not yet received nor have any idea when I may get it. CS Rep: "There is nothing more we can do to expedite this order." Great service, right?

    We loved our bed when we first got it but then after a few years the foam on the sides and in the middle wore out. I think it was about five years that we owned the bed. I called and I was told that for every year you own the bed they deduct off the warranty. It was going to cost around $700 with tax and shipping. I was so upset. My friend has a Sleep Number and had her bed longer than we did. She told me that she called and Sleep Number replaced the foam at no cost.

    I called again and was told the same thing but now the price went up. Sleep Number says they have a 25 year warranty but It is so far from the truth. Prior to this bed we a Spring Air and the bed sagged. We got 100% of our money back. We will never own another Sleep Number Bed because they don't guarantee their product or uphold their warranty. Sleep Number is deceptive. The warranty needs to say that for every year that you own the bed there is a deduction from the 25 year warranty so any problems you have it will cost you. I still have the original receipt but it's been another five years.

    We had an old Tempur-Pedic and we hated it. And then we tried a regular mattress so we can get comfortable and we had different types of mattresses we liked so I figured Sleep Number was the best option. It was delivered, we had assembled it, and since then we've had the base and mattress for a year. I'm glad we did it. However, the girl in the store wasn't helpful. We didn't decide that day that we were going to do it based on her effort. Maybe she wasn't that into it, but I didn't feel an overwhelming need to run into the store and buy a mattress. Also, it was hard to make sure that the pieces of the base were all aligned, and then to play around with it to make sure that the air tubes spreading the mattress was spread out the way it's supposed to be. But it wasn't that hard. Also, the boxes that all of the stuff came in were heavy.

    We bought our Sleep Number bed in 2010. It has been a good mattress. It has developed a slow leak and does not pump up to maximum firmness. I called today for a technician to come out. I learned there ARE NO SERVICE TECHNICIANS! They told me that they could send out a person who installs their bed, but the installer IS NOT TRAINED to service the bed. The agent then told me that she could walk me through performing a service check and then I could order a part if needed. I could not believe a bed that requires a pump and hoses does not have a trained customer service team that I would gladly pay to come to my home. I am so glad that Sleep Number does not manufacture washers and dryers. I am sure this NO SERVICE approach saves the corporation a ton of money. However, I will certainly not be a repeat customer.

    I have had a Sleep Number bed since 2005. I recently purchased a new mattress to upgrade and had a horrible experience. After receiving an email verifying my delivery date for the following day and taking down my existing bed and bed frame, I called to verify the delivery and was told it had been postponed nearly a month. It seems they had no intention of telling me (I found out they had changed the date twice) and could care less if the new delivery date was acceptable to me. I spoke to some type of manager since my case was escalated and was told they couldn't "locate" a mattress for me. How does a mattress company not have the ability to "locate" a mattress for a month??

    After receiving a ridiculous offer to knock off half the delivery cost ($90) for the inconvenience, I cancelled my order. I had also ordered a bed skirt online and since they send no paperwork with their shipped items, I had to call and spend nearly 15 minutes on hold to ask them to process a return so they could send me a return label. Initially I was told this was a non-returnable item, but was granted a special circumstance after telling my story and asking to speak to a manager. I have never felt a company cared so little. I will never recommend this company to anyone.

    I've had a Sleep Number bed in my home for six years. This is my second purchase because we had a queen bed but my husband wanted a king. The sales rep was very informative and the delivery team did a good job. The price of their bedding is very expensive. But we have the head that goes up and down so I can buy other sheets for the king bed because of the split.

    We needed a new bed and have seen the Sleep Number commercials so we bought the iLE mattress. My wife and I were very detail-oriented, so we went in the store not less than 20 times before we actually bought and the reps were professional and knowledgeable. Out of the 20 times we visited, there was only one time where we got someone who wasn’t as knowledgeable as the others. The overall quality of the bed has very high marks and we're actually looking at buying another one. Sleep Number has lived up to their commercials.

After 10 days when I hadn't heard anything I contacted customer support and then was told, "Oh no, shipping takes 14 to 17 days."     Our I-10 split King bed was comfortable at first but after 2 years, one side is lumpy (#85) and the other side is slipping off of the base repeatedly (#60), and is very uncomfortable. When I called, the first associate said it was out of warranty and could not help. After escalating to a supervisor, I got 2 different opinions from two helpful people. Bottom line was that it was recommended that we plump the top mattress which is foam and hard to plump, and either put hard foam under the side that is drifting off of the bed, or (second opinion) look in the base and see if struts are failing. To get a technician will cost $179 to help. Product failure after only two years is unacceptable. This product cost $10,000, and should not be failing after two years.

    I would definitely recommend Sleep Number. Their sales representatives and delivery team were all great. I love the bed and being able to adjust it and raise the leg. I've had back issues and I know one night, I could not get comfortable until I put myself in the zero position which I like. However, I get very hot on the Sleep Number bed. I'll wake up sometimes at 3:00 or 4:00 because it’s hot. It's not a big deal in the winter, though. I was in their store at North Point Mall yesterday and talked to Sandy. She told me about getting the cooling pad, but then I needed to make sure that my sheets weren't high numbers. I’d probably buy a set of sheets once I can, but right now, it’s not in the budget because my sisters and I are renovating my mother's house in Alabama.

    The other issue I have with the Sleep Number bed is that it doesn't stay together well. It almost needs to be inside of a holder where it can't get misshapen. It's also gotten bulgy on one side. My husband weighs about 270 lbs. and he's lost about 25 pounds now, while I only weigh about 140 lbs. Even though I'm pumping it back up to 100 everyday, it rounded and it's not staying flat on the sides as well as our other one which was just one mattress. Sandy opened the bed up and there's a split between the two like they're not together. We had a Sleep Number before that was also in king size like the one I have now. That bed was even on my side and did not bulge out on the sides. But it didn’t raise the legs and that’s not a good position for me as it bothers my back. I needed one that the legs would come up too. But my daughter loves inheriting the other one.

    I had a water bed and it leaked, so I purchased the Sleep Number. It wasn’t a Sleep Number then though when I got them. They didn’t have the Sleep Number, just the Select Comfort. So I've been sleeping on Sleep Number since they’ve come out and I got three of the mattresses already. I own one king with the mattress and the base, and two queens with just the mattress. Me and my wife sleep on it fairly well and we're satisfied. I have no complaints whatsoever and I've recommended Sleep Number.

    My pump on my Sleep Number bed (7000 California King) decided to stop working after a few years of use. The agent told me I was responsible for a $250 pump on a bed I paid THOUSANDS of dollars for. I have purchased 3 beds from this company, and apparently my business doesn't matter to them. Not only will I never buy another Sleep Number bed, but I will let everyone I know hear about the terrible customer service I have received as well.

    I’m a great fan of Rush Limbaugh and I’ve heard him talk about Sleep Number. I also saw the ads on TV and they look great so I went down the store, talked to the guys and they had a no interest deal so I bought it. But ever since I've gotten my Sleep Number, my back has been hurting. It's not a very comfortable mattress to me. I talked to their sales reps and they told me to adjust the number up and down. I found a number that's a little more comfortable but it's still not as comfortable as what I'm used to. Moreover, I can't adjust the number up or down further as either one makes it hurt more than it already does.

    Also, Sleep Number sent me some new foam rubber to go in the mattress and in the side walls. The side walls are very weak and they collapse easily. If I sit on the side of the bed to put on my socks, the side wall collapses. The sales reps told me to raise the number to 100 before I use the mattress but the side walls of the mattress are still not holding up. The sales reps were not too willing to help if you have a problem. You have to call, get people and they try to be helpful. Furthermore, the guy who came out to correct the problem with my mattress was brusque and not very friendly. It wasn't very good customer service. But the guy I talked to at the store was nice enough. He was helpful and showed me things. But I wish they had some kind of a money back guarantee. I know one of the mattress companies on TV you can try it for 100 days. If you don’t like it, you can send it back. But that’s not the case here.

    My experience with their delivery team was also terrible. They told me when we bought the mattress that we'd be able to use our expensive dust skirts that we had on our antique style bed. However, when the installer came, he said we can't use them though the people at the store insist that we should have been able to. And so, we wasted that money too.

    I also purchased a pillow from Sleep Number and I hate it. It's too firm and it hurts my neck. It's not comfortable at all and I like Mypillow.com much better. I bought sheets from them as well. Because I got the most expensive mattress from them, I figured I might as well get the best. That was a big mistake. The mattress is an overpriced piece of junk. I got $8,000 invested in something I can't stand. It is the worst mattress I've ever slept on.

    We’ve had Sleep Number for 16 years. The husband of a friend of ours is a rheumatologist. Way back, he said that having a Sleep Number was a good thing so we’ve had one ever since. We have personally purchased five beds. Our first was 15 years ago and we had that shipped and we put it together ourselves. Then we got another one for another house and one for our daughter. The second one was from a warehouse and we also put it together ourselves. Same for the single bed. Then we got a new one with vibration and then we just got another. These last two were mechanical and we had them home delivered. Then one of our children also got one and we shipped it to them.

    On our first home delivery, the guys were not nice at all. They were brusque and I didn’t know that the bed was gonna get screwed down to the base. I had a dust ruffle and they were just gonna put it on. The whole thing was a little less than pleasant but that was quite a while ago. On the most recent one, the guys were very nice. They were foreign speaking which I had no trouble with but one of them didn’t really understand English and the other one did. But they were very careful and respectful in our home and got the bed set up for us and did a quick run-through. Because we had some experience with it, it didn’t require as much time. They showed us about the SleepIQ. It was a little hasty but I said that we’re fine and that we’ll figure it out.

    Everyone in the sales team had been very helpful. Our most recent experience was out of the mall here in Portland and the guy was great. He was trying to offer a little bit more information and suggested I really needed them but we were just trying to replace something we’d already had. But he was really helpful in figuring out the most discount we could get ‘cause I was a medical professional. He also recently called just to see how things were, and we’ve had this bed now for quite a while. However, based on what he had told us, I was under the impression I could adjust the height of the bed. But that’s not correct and that was not made clear to me. He had put it in a certain height and asked me if I liked it. I had said yes and that’s what he ordered for us. It’s 16 inches from the floor, instead of 14, then I had to buy a dust ruffle that was high enough.

    We also ran into an interesting problem with the company that handles maintenance. Our first bed had the massage system and the tilting of the bed and part of the motor died. I called and told them what was wrong and they said we had to replace this whole thing. They sent it and we took everything apart but it didn’t solve the problem because it was a small, little part that needed replacement, so they had to send another one. So that was a bit of an aggravation. Plus, we did it ourselves and that was a little bit of an annoyance.

    As for the bed themselves, I’m very pleased with the quality. However, I don’t like the massage feature on the newer one as much as our original one. That’s the the one before what we have right now. It’s got more vibration capacity and it seems like the motor is a little stronger. Same for the wave feature and the intensity, which only has a low and a high. It’s not as high as the one that we originally purchased. It makes some noise too. We think it’s vibrating against something and we’ve moved some furniture around. I‘ve also called and they offered to send somebody to investigate but I've just been a little lax about it.

    It also said that we were getting this gray linen base which I didn’t really understand. I thought I was getting this whole big support thing, but I wasn’t. That was a little confusing and was not made clear to me. I had to figure out what to do with my dust ruffle because I wasn’t gonna spend the money to get another one ‘cause I'd have to have holes in it so that the mattress can adhere to the base. So that’s a bit of a problem. But I cut it and figured the whole thing out the way I wanted it.

    It’s terrible to keep the sheets on them too. The mattress is so deep that even the deep pocket ones don’t go long enough to tuck in on the sides. Our bottom sheet sometimes comes undone when we elevate the head of the bed. Then we have to remake the bed when we get up in the morning. I don’t want to spend money on brand new sheets but I want to buy Sleep Number sheets. They’re probably longer. Then for the mattress top, we got one that was a little firm. We love the beds but we like how our original bed feels better. There’s a certain type of firmness to the mattress. It’s the density of that top. Overall though, it doesn’t affect our sleep. We love the beds and the mechanisms. We love the way it can tilt the head up. They’re wonderful and these are little idiosyncratic issues for us. We still tell everybody to buy them.

    We also bought the night light. That and the SleepIQ are just nice features to have but we don’t use them very much. Maybe when I’m really old and worried I won’t see at night, I will need the night light. But then, it’s not like you can push a little button. You’re gonna have to get up and pick up the remote. Then a little screen lights up but for some people, that’s not gonna be enough to figure out the buttons. So it doesn’t make sense the way sensing night lights work. You have to put it on and then it’s on all night or you have to fumble, find the remote and feel for the button. Though it might be wonderful for some people if the light’s across the room. But the beds themselves are fantastic, easy and dependable. I don’t have to flip it over or worry about needing a new mattress. It does just what it says it does.

Then we decided it was time to purchase a new one because the other one is getting old. The delivery team brought the new mattress on time and the quality of the product has been fine.     In December 2016 I purchased a Sleep Number bed along with linens which were very expensive. While the bed is OK, we immediately had a problem with the linens and when taken back to the local store they said we had to get replacement from customer service. We were told they would ship within 5 days from May 27. And when not received, customer service was called on June 7 and we were told they were never shipped but would be that day and we would have by Saturday.

    On Thursday of that week I noticed that they only were shipping one set instead of the required 2 and called and once again spoke with Customer Service. They acknowledged the error and said again that it would ship immediately 2 days delivery. Saturday has come and gone with no sheets. While the bed is OK but for the amount of money spent, I would not repeat this purchase. The lack of customer service from Sleep Number has definitely ruined the experience of dealing with this company. I should have known since we had trouble with customer service the days immediately following the purchase.

    Having been a customer for over 15 years, shocked at how this company has declined. I ordered a new bed and was first told it would take two weeks for delivery, now it's another two weeks. A month for a bed? This was the first sign of how flawed the company is. Next, they force you to pay for them to set it up. I've set up earlier models many times, but these greedy folks want more money now by gouging you for a required setup. Really disappointed in the decline of this company. I'm now trying to cancel the order. I ordered a Casper for another room, and the service and quality was excellent. Sad that is no longer is the case with Sleep Number.

    I can't even tell you how frustrated I am with this purchase. I was told that I should buy it before the Memorial Day rush to beat all the deliveries because it will be busy. They scheduled a delivery date at the time of purchase and I did it 6/13 because I had to request for a day off from work ahead of time. Next thing you know, after I get off work Friday, I get a call saying it won't be delivered. I wasted taking a whole day off when I could be working and making money.

    Then I called customer service where the first time, she didn't know what was going on so she said she call me back within an hour, never got a callback - waited 3 hours before I called customer service again. Then I called and was on hold for 25 minutes before I got anybody! Then I got transferred like 4 times. I was on the phone with customer service for an hour. 1 rep told me it would be 6/23 and he can refund me the home delivery and maybe a few hundred off. Then he transferred me to supposedly his supervisor, then she said she would only do the home delivery and it won't be delivered until 7/3! I purchased this on 5/26 and requested for time off which lost me money for the original delivery. Now it's been over a month to even get the bed. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.

    I had a Sleep Number for about 15 years and recently bought a Sleep Number for our 91 year-old mother to make her more comfortable with her arthritis. And it's working out well. There was a guy and a girl that worked at the store in Atlanta and they were both very nice and helpful. Their delivery team was quick in and out. They were very efficient and polite. We moved during the time that we had our Sleep Number and a piece was broken by the people that moved us. Sleep Number replaced it immediately with no charge. They also replaced the thick foam topper on our mattress with a lot less price than buying a whole new bed. I've been very pleased to refer family and friends to Sleep Number and would definitely buy another one myself should I ever need to replace mine.

    We had a Tempur-Pedic and thought we'd try something different because our Tempur-Pedic was getting too hard and I was having shoulder pain. Sleep Number is a good bed and we've been happy with it. I don't have shoulder pain anymore since using it. The service guys and the people at the store were very nice and that's important to us. Also, we've had our share of delivery people. Some of them were good and some were not. But Sleep Number's guys were terrific and the men that installed the bed were knowledgeable and nice people.     After agreeing to a trial period, my wife and I decided that this wasn't for us after less than 1 week. I called to return and I was told that only the mattress can be returned. The motorised frame was not able to be returned and is going to cost me a little over $2700 plus a shipping cost of $129 for them to pick up the mattress or $29 per UPS SHIPPING LABEL (it takes 5) and I have to buy the boxes (in case you don't want to do math today that is over $150 and you still have to take it to the UPS store. Now we are stuck paying for a frame I will never use and can't sell. Let's face it. Who is going to pay the full cost... I was never told about the frame requirement, only that if I did not like it we could return it. When the installers were here I was told again I could return my Sleep Number if it wasn't for us... A CLASS ACTION SHOULD BE FILED!!!

The salesperson at the store was so patient in dealing with a hard of hearing old man and made sure I understood everything so that I purchased the right bed for me.     Go Somewhere else. I went to the store and got reassured I could have my bed in 2 weeks no more. I got a call this morning from the tech that they would be here and call before they arrived. I call work to say I had to stay home and had someone take my bed. Now I have nowhere to sleep! I get a call 1 hour before my delivery time ends saying they need to reschedule at least 2 weeks out. All I was offered was to refund the delivery fee, which I think it is terrible to charge in the first place, on a bed that costs thousands of dollars! I could get better service at a Discount Depot. I absolutely regret my decision!

    I've had previous purchases with Sleep Number and have had their products for six years. I had a p6 in one residence and I’m pleased with the quality of the model. I was convinced to buy the p5 when it was on a special as I was told it would be just like a p6. However, that was not the case and I purchased a p6 to replace it. My only disappointment is that I feel like I was misled with the p5 and ended up buying two beds instead of one. Other than that, Sleep Number is a great product and they have good customer service. I'd definitely recommend it to a lot of people.

    We've had our king size Sleep Number for over a year. My wife doesn't like it and it doesn't help me with the back surgery that I had. We also don’t like the second bedding that we bought. They've limited their colors to about nothing anymore and they didn’t have our color that we would have liked to have. Their comforters need to be a little bit bigger ‘cause it barely meets from one end of the bed to the other. And then I go online and the sleep number is always wrong. They said my Sleep Number should be one thing. I put it at that and a couple of days later, they said my Sleep Number should be another thing. It’s totally confusing. Overall, we're not happy and my wife said it was a waste of money for us to do this.

    So my husband and I were very excited to be getting a new bed. We visited our local Sleep Number store where the associate was absolutely fantastic. We were told if we were to order it would take 2 weeks to receive our new bed. We wanted to think about it and do a little more research. Later on we were chatting with an agent online asking a few more questions. The agent stated to us if we were to place our order through the chat feature our order would process 24 hours faster than doing it online or in a store, but we would receive our bed in two weeks. A few days before our 2 week timeframe I reached out again to someone in chat to kind of get a timeframe on shipping since we had still not received notice our bed had shipped. This agent told me again within 2 weeks from our order date (which was 2 days away) and so it would ship early this week and we would have it in 2-3 days of shipping.

    Well it is now the middle of the week and I reached out to customer service through chat again today to have the agent basically say the others lied to me on the "lead time", he doesn't know when we will get our bed, and basically to just wait for the shipping email to arrive. These are not cheap beds by any means. If you are taking thousands of dollars from someone, you should at least be able to give an appropriate timeframe or be able to update someone when they will get their bed. At this point I am VERY dissatisfied and will NOT be recommending Sleep Number to anyone based on this experience alone. Horrible customer service. If my husband was not as impressed as he was with this bed, I would cancel the order and save myself a lot of money and trouble. Hope this bed is worth it because as of now it is not worth the hassle.

    I got a king size Sleep Number bed and it's comfortable. Sleep Number is definitely the best. Their sales professionals have been really good. One thing I really appreciated was if we get discount coupons in the mail, they have them on file just in case. So whenever we wanna purchase sheets or anything like that and it's 20% off, they already have that on file which helps out. I don't have to be like, "I don't have my little 2x2 coupon."

    Also, the lady who helped me and kept it real simple. I can tell she made a difference because I can hear the other salesman. He was okay but he was a little bit more pushy. He saying things almost like it was the law like, "This is the best." But the lady was more like, "Well just give it try. Let that give you the answer. I'm not gonna tell you it will. I'm just saying give it chance." Luckily, I got the right sales person. Then everything was perfect with the delivery and went exactly like it should be. They put it together, told us exactly what to have ready and were in and out of the room. They had it up in less than 30 minutes and were gone.

    Overall quality has been great although the sheets are a little expensive. I wish they didn't have to be that expensive because once you buy an expensive bed like that, I feel like I gotta save up to get another set of sheets and re-washing the same ones for a while just because they're so expensive which is frustrating. I also want a dust ruffle, and that's harder to find once you have a Sleep Number bed because it doesn't fit as well. I can try to make it by taking it all in and stuffing it in where this little place is but the dust ruffle doesn't stay on very good so we have to buy theirs and theirs are expensive. But I've been so happy with the bed that I try not to think about how much it is too much and just keep on going. I'll probably have one forever.

    I had a memory foam bed before and it was comfortable, but it could get too hot. So I gave that one to my son and he had gotten rid of it. Then he bought the Sleep Number for himself and he liked it. I've been reading up on Sleep Number and I talked to some people who said they were absolutely wonderful. Also, the commercials talked about how wonderful they are so I decided to try it. Their store was clean and on the first time that I came in, I tried to get credit and they didn’t approve me, but the salesperson that took me through the process showed us how to get our number. He was very professional and did a good job on the demonstration. So I spent $3,000 for a brand new box spring and a regular mattress. Then they mailed it to me, and I unboxed it and put it together myself, which was fairly easy. I was so excited, but the bed has not lived up to the claim they made. I'd rather not sleep on it.

    When I went to a hotel not too long back for work, I slept on one of the beds and it was the most comfortable bed I've slept in a long time. But with the Sleep Number mattress, I would end up waking up halfway through the night because my hip hurts. I have to let some of the air out and sleep on my side. But if I do that, I'd end up laying on my back. Then it's too soft and it ends up hurting my back.

    We've tried every setting a week at a time and it has not lived up to its hype. I wish I've never even bought it. It's very disheartening that they would make all these claims on TV. And when you read about it on the internet and you hear all these testimonies of people saying it's great, you expect it to at least be halfway down the road to being great. I certainly won't buy another one and wouldn't recommend it to anybody because it's no better than any of the other beds like the memory foam bed. It's not the wonderful cure that it claims to be.

    Sleep Number was recommended to us by our friends and family so we purchased Sleep Number's mattress and base. My wife had a very good experience talking to their sales professionals and looking at the product in the showroom. She then brought me along later for a second viewing and we purchased from there. It's better than any other mattress store that we've gone to. The sales people were very knowledgeable and there was no pressure to buy. It was a wonderful experience. And I definitely like the measurement tool that they had where you could see your pressure points and do your perfect setting.

    We had the items delivered and I set it up which was fairly easy. I'm a mechanical engineer so, it took me no time to read the directions and put it together.     I have had this bed for only two years and a chamber went out and I spent more money on it. The bed has always had a dip in the middle of it. You have to call customer service and get extra parts even though they already know this from so many complaints. It seems like they would just send these parts at the time of installation. The CS department doesn't know how to answer questions nor do they care. I had asked the one rep about the dip. He said because we have two different number. So I called and it was a common problem. The bed has actually caused me neck and back issues. My wife hates it. The warranty on a bed this expensive is only two years! You can buy 3-4 mattresses for that which I would recommend. Customer service will put you on hold for 15 plus minutes so be ready for that.

    The customer service at Sleep Number SUCKS. I spent a ton of money on my bed and I just ordered a set of sheets. I placed my order and when I got the box today, I got two pillows and a mattress cover. THEY SENT THE WRONG STUFF. Customer service then tells me that I HAVE TO TAKE MY TIME to take the return box to UPS for return shipping. THIS WAS NOT MY MISTAKE, but THEIRS. They wouldn't arrange for UPS to pick up the box. The box is huge and won't even fit in my car. I will never buy anything else there and would never recommend them to anyone!!! If I could give them 0- stars I would.

    We were in need of a comfortable bed and we liked Sleep Number's adjustability. The customer service at the store was good and I would give them compliments. We got the mattress and base so that it adjusted the head. I like it and it works well. We've had it for over a year, but my wife feels a tilt on her side of it and my back's sore every morning. Their sales team added one layer of cushion to it and we thought that would help. But I don't know whether everything has just been compressed and it's just me sleeping on hard air tubes.

    One side of our 4000 dollar bed is not holding air. I've inquired into support to handling this issue and it's up to the customer to troubleshoot what the problem might be. To get support from manufacturer has a starting cost of over $200 more than an electrician or plumber. That amazes me! Of course this info was never passed on to the customer at time of sale. I think that was a major issue not passed on to the customer at purchase. You are required to fix their product. Not acceptable.

    We needed a mattress and my wife wanted the Sleep Number. We got an IQ 10 bed, sheet and pillows. Ours have the legs on it and then we bought a bed frame that goes around it. Their sales lady was friendly, knowledgeable and good. But the people that came out and delivered it, I didn't think an awful lot of that service. I called back raising Cain. I paid over $10,000 and it had two different style legs. They sent me out all new legs and I swapped it out to where they matched because that kind of stuff bothers me. We've had the bed close to a year and we don't do anything exciting on my bed but one of the sheets tore last night, between my knee and foot area. I was surprised that that sheet fell apart. So I got to buy sheets to fit this bed. But other than that, it's been okay. It's a quality, adjustable mattress.
