    I bought a Sleep Number bed for myself in 2004 and then my husband was suffering from acid reflux and he‘s handicapped so last year, we bought the second one with the head that comes up for him. All in all, we have two Sleep Number beds and we’ve always liked them. I knew what I wanted when I went to buy the bed. I went in and started talking to the salesman and he was very helpful and walked me through what the beds did, their sizes and comfort levels. We had a concern about the height of the second one that we bought for my husband because he’s in a wheelchair. It has to be the same height as his wheelchair for him to transfer. The man helped me with that. He was also very helpful in setting up the delivery. The delivery guys were neat and plain and took everything away, and I didn’t have any clean-up after they left. They did a great job.

    My wife and I enjoy our Sleep Number bed that we got a year and a half ago. I needed a harder mattress because of my back while my wife likes it softer. She also had an acid reflux so we needed a bed that had the ability to have her lifted up so we bought the tilted one for us. There was a sale going on that time and the salesman was outstanding, very knowledgeable and went through everything with us. He spent three days to get us qualified to get the loan to get it. He then called me and let me know we had it and how much it was for.

    Because we liked our bed so much, we got one for my 14-year-old-daughter. The salesman was very patient because there was a processing problem with the HELPcard. He stayed on the line and he kept trying in his computer on his end. He would shut the system down, restart, and try it again. We tried 15, 20 different ways of doing it before I finally called customer service and they explained that Sleep Number uses a different set of numbers off the card than the rest of the vendors. That’s the only problem I foresee in the future with using HCFP as a lender for Sleep Number that maybe the salespeople in the stores need to know because there are two sets of numbers on the card. It took us about a half an hour or 45 minutes to figure that out.

    Lastly, the deliveries on both purchases were outstanding, too. One of the two gentlemen on both deliveries was the same guy. They were very knowledgeable, very understanding, and they explained and showed everything very well.

    The first time we bought a Sleep Number bed, we needed to get a bed that went up a spiral staircase, so we looked at a collapsible model. Then we bought one for the second time because we love the bed. The first purchase was 12 or 13 years ago, and we still have that bed in the guest bedroom. We got the latest one last year. This time, we wanted it to go up in size and we got the king-size. We also decided that we needed to get the upgraded model with the pillow top because the older model was great, but there's a canyon that formed in the middle between the two bladders, and we put our own pillow top on that. We already had an existing bed frame that was expandable, so we did not get a base this time.

    We knew going in what we wanted, but the sales reps were very straightforward and honest with their opinions about what features work best and which ones might not be as necessary, and I really appreciate that. We had our order drop-shipped to our home. It was super easy to get everything in and set up. We'd moved our first Sleep Number bed about four or five times so far, so we were used to the system. This one was no different. It snapped together easily and assembled super quickly. It's the best bed I've ever had. I recommend it to just about everybody I meet that's looking for a bed.

    I weigh about 240 pounds, so I kept buying beds that wear out over time and sag in the middle or on the edges. They wouldn't support my back and I could never find a mattress other than a foam one which I didn't want. I didn't want one of those Tempur-Pedic things and I could never find a mattress that was firm enough to start with or would stay firm. I think there are some because I ran into them in hotels that seem like they are firm enough but I could never find one myself so I decided to get a Sleep Number. I also had a really good and very memorable experience with their sales rep. He said he had a bad and sore back. Then, he bought the bed and now he's sleeping with his wife again.

    As for me, I got a base and the mattress. I also bought the mattress pad and the pillows. Then, the installation didn't take long and it went well, so I have no complaints. The bed has its good points and bad points. The only thing that I have any issue with is that because the mattress itself is loose and doesn't weigh a lot, the sheets wrinkle really bad and bunches up, and there are probably some ways that could be better.

    And I haven't figured out the right number yet. I've thought I wanted a really hard bed but when I made it really hard, I woke up with sore hips. So, I keep it somewhere around 75 and 80. But then, like last night, I was sore on the hip side, I started taking it up and down in the middle of the night, then I let it down to 50 because I was getting uncomfortable. It seems to vary a lot with what makes me comfortable. But it's really good and since I've had it, I've had less back pain.

    We used to go to a hotel and we always stayed in the room with the Sleep Number bed but then they took them out so we don't go there anymore. We bought our Sleep Number mattress in Christmas of 2015 and we love it. I just wish there were more stores or they weren't limited to their own stores so that it's easy to find one nearby. They shipped the mattress and I put the bed together myself very easily. But the mattress is so light that it moves on the box spring and it slides around, and I don't know if they have a box spring or Velcro so that it wouldn't slip. At any rate, the overall quality of the Sleep Number mattress is excellent. We got the Sleep Number because of my wife's back but there isn't much difference. It's definitely not worse, but it's not much better. Still, she likes it and she's happy with it. The whole experience has been acceptable.

    My husband and I bought two brand new beds, and they continued to dip in the middle on his side. So a year and a half ago, we decided to purchase from Sleep Number and got a queen mattress and the base. We went to the store and we found what we like.     My mom and dad own a king size Sleep Number and I love theirs.     I bought the cheapest lowest Sleep Number bed. My interactions with the sales rep were good but I did not know that they needed a signature for delivery. Nobody ever called or told me about it and the bed got delivered two weeks late. My fiance showed up early, the delivery guy knocked on the door and he signed for the bed instead of me. Otherwise, I don’t know how long it would have taken because I work full time.

    I had a little rough start with the bed and couldn’t find my number. My fiancé and I moved in together and I didn’t like his bed so I made him switch to my bed. In agreement, we had to put a memory foam pad over the bed because we couldn’t adjust the bed to a place we found comfortable. The bed was too soft and we sunk in. We woke up and felt like we were drowning. Then it was too hard and we woke up with backaches. But when we put the two-inch memory foam pad on top, it made the bed softer and we were good. We sleep on it happily every night now.

    We have the Sleep Number mattress and base. We've had it for a year now and we liked the flexibility between the two sides of the bed for my wife and I. It's the biggest use for us especially if we've had a long day and needed a little more back support. When we purchased it, the sales rep was very friendly and he showed us how the different levels of the beds work from the cheapest mattress to the expensive "Cadillac" with the feet changing and dual side adjustable modes, which gave us the full picture of what we're getting for the different prices. I've told other people about it, but the only thing that's hard for people to pass is how much they cost.

    I like the positioning for the adjustable bed so we got a Sleep Number. We had very positive interactions with their sales reps, but we were a little surprised of how long it would take for delivery. We were told six to eight weeks and we needed it sooner. So we almost didn’t purchase but then decided we would do it. The rep did accommodate us and the bed came within a month. The quality of the bed is excellent and we really like it, but we would have liked to have known ahead of time that it was gonna take a long time to receive the bed.

    My wife's back was hurting. We went to the store and we liked the demonstration the sales guy gave to us, trying different numbers, and it worked. The sales guy in the store was pleasant, but the after-sales service was horrible. Once the bed was delivered, there was no follow-up whatsoever and I saw my closet door was not properly shut. I had to call some handyman to get it fixed. We had a lot of questions and nobody was answering it. We had to figure it out ourselves. We bought a $10,000 bed so we expect some service coming out of that. We need some good after-sales service where somebody can call and find out what's going on. That would be helpful. But we are very happy that we don't have any back issue anymore, and we are sleeping good.

    I researched a number of beds and Sleep Number seemed like the logical choice for me because it had analytics tied to it where I could measure my sleep. I got the mattress and also wanted to get the base but I thought they were too expensive for what they are. I did the purchase when the bed was on the 50% off sale and the rep, Mari, did a great job with selling it to me. She had good product knowledge and was able to answer my questions with ease.     We have had the Sleep Number for about 20 years and we loved it. We wanted to update so we put our old bed upstairs in our spare room and we got a new bed. The sales reps were helpful and knowledgeable. They were very thorough and patient. We had thought we wanted a certain bed but we weren't sure. And so, they took us through and showed us all of our options, explained the pluses and the minuses to all of them, and then we tried them all. We then selected our bed and had it delivered. And they came out and were very helpful, courteous, efficient, and got it all set up for us. The experience was really nice.

    We love our bed. It's great. I love its feature called zero gravity. It's adjustable and it brings the foot and the head up to a certain level. And if you lay about 15 minutes in that position, you just relax and then push the button to take you to flat. It stretches you out. I have some low back problems when I do yard work and I was in real misery the other night because I have a muscle spasm that haunts me. So, I went in and did my zero gravity and it stretched. And I just let go and relax. It's perfect and helps my lower back issue.

    My mother-in-law has a Sleep Number bed and recommended it to us. We then purchased a mattress and a box spring. The sales representative did our sleep number in the store and she wasn’t too pushy. I don’t like the bed at all because there’s a big old sag in the middle of it, and we can’t get it out. It’s like a big hole and we roll into it when we’re on the edge of the bed. We told Sleep Number about it, and they kept Facebooking messages and telling us to take pictures of the mattress and I’m not going to do all that. Also, I recommended the bed to my mom and dad and they purchased one. We got a Sleep Number gift card, and they never told me that I got any kind of referral gift so we weren’t able to use it. They e-mailed me and said that I only have a month to use it. It was a year and I never even knew it. It would have been nice to know.

    We had a Tempur-Pedic for about 20 years and it had gotten too soft for my back. I needed more support in my back and that's why we sought to get something much harder. We finally settled on Sleep Number because it had the numbers that accommodate both my wife and myself. It went very well with the sales rep. She was very knowledgeable, courteous, explained everything very well and helped us make the decision. We enjoyed talking to her. Also, the delivery team was very good.     I purchased the first Sleep Number bed in 2005 because I was pregnant with twins and I couldn't sleep comfortably. And then, we bought one for my mother-in-law and a newer one for us because we wanted a bed that could elevate the head and feet. With our most recent purchase, we got the mattress, sheets and the mattress pad. The sales representative was very helpful. We knew we wanted to buy another bed and went to the store two different times and talked to her. And then, we picked out what we wanted. She wasn't forcing us to buy the sheets. But with a split bed, we really need them, otherwise, both sides can't pull up and down independently. There were no issues with the delivery. The products were delivered and installed and everything's been fine since.

    The only thing that we have an issue with is that the space between the different sides of the bed gets bigger. It's a little cockeyed, but it's comfortable and it doesn't affect the bed going up and down. It doesn't affect my sleep. When I cover it up, I can't tell that there is a bigger gap up at the top. Overall, I'm very happy with the bed's quality. I'm sleeping much better, and so is my husband.

    I heard good stuff about Sleep Number and wanted to give it a shot. It went smooth with the sales rep. He was very helpful. He flagged us down when we came in the store then he took us on to one of the trial beds to find our number and walked us through a couple of different beds in that price range. The installers were really clean, as well. They came in, moved my mattress around and then they showed me how to set it up and take it down as they went through. My only gripe about it is I end up going right in the center of the bed's air chambers. That could have been ‘cause I got the dual chamber instead of the single one, but other than that, I’m fairly satisfied with the bed. I’m still getting used to it and trying out different numbers.

    With Sleep Number, we're sleeping more comfortably through the night. We like that we could change the hardness or softness of the bed for each side. We bought the base and mattress, then we got the sheets as a gift. We're happy with them, and their reps have been good. But we would have liked a base that would have lifted the head up and down, but due to the construction of our house, we weren't able to fit it. We took pictures and they had somebody come and do measurements, but unfortunately, we weren't able to have that. But they really took the time to determine if it was possible or not. It was a good experience.

    We had heard that Sleep Number mattresses were good, so we purchased the basic model that's clean and part air mattress. We can adjust the right or left side differently, and there's a little pump that pumps more or less air into the mattress. It was very smooth with the sales representatives at the store. We were at the store twice and they were pleasant and helpful. We scheduled home delivery for our order and the delivery guys took care of everything. I love the mattress that we got. It's probably the favorite bed that I've ever had. Sleep Number did a good job, but my concern is how well the bed will hold up over time. So far, however, there are no problems.

    We bought a Sleep Number bed in 2006. Both of us are normal to light in weight. The top zip on cover of the bed is completely dented in and provides absolutely no cushion or support. We replaced the foam layer beneath this layer at the suggestion of Sleep Number. That made no difference. The quality of the bed is less than desired. We paid over $4000 for this bed and the warranty is less than effective in covering the problem. We WILL NOT be buying another Sleep Number bed nor will be suggest this brand to anyone else.

    With my previous bed, I'd wake up and my back would be hurting and that was every day. So I decided to get a different mattress and Sleep Number was having a sale. Their sales rep was really good and friendly. The mattress' quality's been very well. For quite a while, my back was bothering me but it really doesn't anymore.     I purchased my mattress about 7 years ago. Everything was pretty good until about a year ago when my mattress started to develop a valley in the middle of it. I dealt with it for a while until one day I was walking through the mall and saw a Sleep Number Store. I decided to go in and inquire about my issue. I spoke to the Sales rep who immediately told me he knew exactly what my issues was. He unzipped the display and showed my that they redesigned the chamber and put a zipper in to solve my issues. He then gave me a card to contact customer service. He told me they would resolve my issue.

    So I called and explained my issue. I was told that for $500 dollars they could send my new chambers to solve my problem. I asked why I was being charged $500 for a design flaw after I paid over $3000 for the bed initially. They rep told me that not everyone has that issue. My Response was if not everyone was having that issue then why did you redesign the mattresses to solve that specific issue. No answer!! Shocking!!! At that point, I asked to speak with a supervisor. I was placed on hold for 20 minutes. Then once the rep answered I was immediately disconnected!!!

    So I decided to go online and research the issue. When I did, I saw that this issue is the number 2 complaint!!! And the rep says not everyone is having the issue. I suspect the people that are not having the issue are single and not sleeping with another person. Bottom line is this company knows it has an issue and does not stand behind their product. I would not recommend this product!! I was told this would be the last mattress I ever bought and it didn't even last 7 years!!! Very unhappy customer!!!

    I was having back problems. I bought the Sleep Number mattress and base. The first person I talked to when I went in by myself was a little too persistent, but when my wife and I went in together, the salesperson we had was good. However, the bed is not as comfortable as I thought. Also, we let it go past the amount of time to return it. We should have done so but didn’t, so we ended up going out and buying a foam layer to go on top of the mattress.

    My wife and I are very satisfied with the mattress that we bought from Sleep Number. I like the idea of being able to change the hardness of the bed because my wife and I sleep on very different mattresses. So, we went and check it out and we're happy with it. The sales reps were courteous and answered all questions that we had and the delivery team was good. They did everything I expected. I've always had back pains and I've always slept with hard mattresses. I kept going softer and softer.     I have two Sleep Number beds. I got the first one 10 years ago, and then I recently got another one for the spare bedroom. The first bed I got was a queen size and I got the dual chambers. But I kept ending up in the middle and falling in the little hole, so I switched the two chambers out for a single chamber which I like better. They shipped it with the new bed because they brought it with them when they came. Their customer service was excellent. I've been pleased with Easy Rest, that's why I'd recommend it. In fact, I already had one of my friends buy one.

    My cousin bought a Sleep Number about eight years ago. I went to the store with her, checked them out and really enjoyed them. So, I ended up getting one a year and a half ago. It went great.     The sales reps were not pushy and they let us spend time by ourselves talking about the Sleep Number mattress. They demonstrated the features and how to adjust the electronics of it to make it higher or lower number and all of that but the actual final decision was testing it out. We're able to adjust it to fit our needs. We're older and we have back problems and the Sleep Number mattress has been very comfortable and it's the best we've had. The delivery guys were not native speakers of English so there were some communication problems with the guys setting it up but other than that, the delivery went well.

    We were unsure of this bed due to the price and were swindled with the 100 night trial. DO NOT BE FOOLED! This trial is only for the foam top. The crazy expensive base, ($3000) is not a part of this trial and is non refundable. So now we have a $7000 mattress that hurts our back that we cannot return. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. We wake up every morning in pain no matter what we do. "Wait the pain out, your back will adjust." Well, it's been over 30 days and I am tired of being in pain and tired of being tired.     My wife was alive at the time. We were looking for an adjustable base bed and Sleep Number was the best way to go since for other mattresses, you only get a certain amount of life out of them. We didn’t even get 10 years out of our regular mattress but with the Sleep Number mattress you can replace foam pads. You don’t ever have to worry about having the lump because it’s an air chamber so it will last a lot longer. Also, she had cancer and we figured it would be comfortable for her. The sales staff were really helpful. My wife got all the accessories, the cooling pad, the protection pad and the sheet. We picked out pillows and everything else like that. It took a little while to get delivered because we ordered the bed, the motorized base, and the frame, and we wanted it all delivered at once. It got delivered but she was already sick. She had slept in it for about 10 times before she wound up at hospice and passed.

    We got the cosmetic bed frame. It’s like gray chenille fabric to cover up the whole motorization thing so it’s the headboard and the frame to go around it. Most customers would buy the motorized base and the mattress and keep their existing frames like their headboard. But, we chose to get the whole thing and the bed frame. It was about $1,600 but it looks really well and it's sturdy. When the bed’s motor is down, it’s cosmetically nice. I would recommend them but my only complaint was the bed frames were expensive.

    I had gone to a home show where I bought my Sleep Number bed. The sales rep showed me a lot and I had questions right away because he really wanted me to get one of the massage units. But I can't have that cause I have a Pacemaker, and that was something he had to understand. I had the bed delivered and the delivery team was excellent. I was really impressed with the whole process that they did and how well they told me about things there as well. I also recommended the bed to my brother.

    I like the idea of the adjustable mattress in two manners. First of all, the fact that the mattress adjusts in consistency and I can do it according to how I'm feeling and secondly because of the adjustable part with the head and the foot, I could sit for reading or sometimes elevate my feet. I find that the bed helps me with the cold or with allergies. It also helps to raise a little bit if I ate late and I have indigestion when I go out for a restaurant meal. Also, I have fibromyalgia and before I had a nice pillow top mattress. But I would lay on it and I'd feel like I was laying on the floor. On the other hand, I can adjust the Sleep Number. Some days I need it at 35 and sometimes I'm fine at 50. But I'm pretty much more between 45 to 35.

    We replaced the Sleep Number that we have had for a while because the side was deteriorated. The idea of the adjustable firmness is really nice but the edges not withstanding up is a major flaw. And the middle didn't seem to hold up then as well. But we were still pleased with it so we again got a mattress from the company and everybody was very helpful. The delivery guys were nice, too.

    My husband and I share the bed and there are two different air mattresses on each side. There's a piece of foam down the middle but it does not hold up very well. It's only a year old and there's definitely a ditch so that's unfortunate. I weigh 150 and my husband is a little heavier but it should be able to stay like that. If somebody gets out of bed on one side, the other side shouldn't move but it definitely does. He gets out of bed and then I drop down. So it's not really doing what it's supposed to do.

    I have had my bed only 3 years and paid over $8K for it to get the highest end bed. I do like my bed. But am already replacing foam, massage controls and black battery box. Service for the base consisted of call SN and being put on a first 45, then in same call 48 min and 43 min hold to eventually be told to call Leggett & Platt. Called them and put on 42 min hold. Gal did come on line in a few minutes but the service now consists of free parts, but $ for shipping as well as chasing and $ the tech myself to schedule repair "after my parts arrive". In 2017, this old style disenfranchised service is no longer the norm for high end companies, and is very disappointing.

    We had another Sleep Number mattress before that we kept replacing every couple of years under warranty. A deal was finally set where we would go back and get another Sleep Number so we did. And then we bought the new air mattress with a little bit of padding on the top about early summer a year ago. We got the 5000 series but not the same as the one we had before which was more deluxe. This one was a bit more basic. We had it delivered and we set it up. The boxes weren't marked very well, but we figured it out. We're not real thrilled with the bed, but we're satisfied.

    We got a king size Sleep Number bed with the adjustable head and foot. I hate it and I'm unhappy with it. I don't like how one side is split from the other, and I have never found it comfortable to be on. When guests come over, I stuff it with towels and put another comforter and cover over it so it didn't seem like a king size bed. We gave up and sucked up the $70,000 we've spent on it, which was a stupid mistake. I wish I had never bought the bed. We don't use it. We use it at the guest bedroom.     Called Customer Service (that's a joke) regarding losing air repeatedly in our mattress. They suggested "troubleshooting." I informed her that we cannot -- my husband is 74 and I have back and shoulder problems. She said a tech would cost $179. I would have been okay with that, but then she explained that he DOESN'T BRING ANY PARTS FOR REPAIR. I said, "You mean if he finds a problem, he can't do anything and I have to incur a 2nd tech support charge for him to bring the parts he isn't allowed to bring the first time?" THAT'S INSANE. I will not be railroaded by this nonsense. I'd rather dump the bed and go with a reputable company that cares about their customers! This is not the first time I've blown my stack about Sleep Number.     I have a P5 King size Sleep Number I got about a year ago. I was using a gift certificate to purchase a part of it and the bed was really expensive. In addition, there are two air chambers in it and I'm always rolling to the middle where the chambers meet. I called Sleep Number and I was told to call customer service and it's under warranty.     I bought two Sleep Number beds. I have back problems and my mom had one. I slept on it and got hooked. Then when I got married, my queen size bed wasn't big enough anymore so I bought another one. I also bought two different sets of pillows and they last pretty good. My first pillow was like a modular one where I could take it apart and lock it, which I really like. But after a while they broke down. So, I bought some new ones when I got the new bed, which are great. For the bedding, I bought the Lyocell sheets. The first set didn't even last five months. Dipped down by our feet, they developed holes. So I got a new set. When I talked to the guy at the Sleep Number store, he said this was a known problem. They're not very durable that's why they came up with the new ones. These don't hold up but nevertheless, having a Split Flex bed, I don't have the option to get cheap other than buy from Sleep Number.

    I didn't know that I had a referral credit at my local store until they called me four days before it was going to expire. I wasn't able to make it to the store so I left that credit which is disappointing. I was there just a week prior buying pillows and sheets. If they have told me back then, I could have applied that to my purchases than spend $400. But overall, my experience with Sleep Number has been good.

They showed me how to use it. I've moved it a couple of times since then and that was some of my issues.     I bought just the Sleep Number mattress because I'm a construction worker so I'm just going to build the base myself out of some nice wood and I also don't need to lift my front half up or my legs up. The reps were very knowledgeable, accommodating and answered any questions I had. He didn't try to force me into any purchases. He just gave me the information I was looking for and a little additional information but I said I wasn't interested in that. He didn't try to push it and I really appreciated that.

    I have MS and I was having some problems with my leg pains, so I wanted to see if a bed that raised up would help. My aunt had a Sleep Number bed which she liked, so I thought I'd go check out one. At that time, Sleep Number was on sale, so I went to the store and tried each bed there. I then bought the mattress along with the sheets, the headboard and the base that puts the head and feet up and has the vibration.

    Everything was delivered to my place and the delivery guys set everything up, took out their mess, and did a great job of putting the bed together. I like this queen sized bed, but if I set both sides at 50, the right is a little softer and indented where I move to the side. And it feels like it's lost all the air and I have to go over to the other side, as it's only me and my dogs. I was also a little disappointed with the kind of sheets that I bought with the bed.     People I knew recommended the Sleep Number bed, so I bought a mattress from them. I went to their store and talked to the manager. I told him that I wanted a bed, what my price range was, and he showed me the two in that price range and then I picked one. And when I got home from work, there were a couple of boxes at my doorstep. I pulled it inside my house and put it together. All the pieces fit together like puzzle pieces and there were several diagrams. So, it was okay. It wasn’t the easiest thing I’ve ever done, but it wasn’t hard by any means.

    The bed's quality is okay. It’s not as wonderful as I thought it was going to be, but it’s decent. Whenever I get into bed it’s almost like lying on air mattresses. I feel that I’m sinking in and if I adjust to where I’m not sinking in then it’s too firm. I have a platform bed and I didn’t have a box spring, so it was way too low. But when I got a box spring, it was way too high. But that’s more my bed than the mattress.

    When I recommended the Sleep Number to a friend, she bought one. I was also referred by somebody and they told me about a referral program. So when I referred her, both me and the person who referred me were told that we would get $100 gift card, but it never came. So, if they’re not going to give it to somebody for a referral then they shouldn’t promise it. When I called the store, they said, “Oh, that’s handled by this customer service.” And she gave a runaround. I tried to order box springs from them too and I got a runaround that time. So, I’m not even going to bother. I’ll spend more of my time than that $100 is worth. I just got a little frustrated. Moreover, I got excellent customer service from Mike. He helped me out. But then when I went back, he wasn’t there and everybody else was like, “Well, we already sold you a bed. We don’t give a crap about you anymore.” That’s how I felt.

But they came a day early and I was out of town. So, I had to get neighbors to get it off the porch and into their garage. But we made it work. Setting the bed up was very easy. It's very simple and well-designed.

    We purchased the C4 mattress with a delivery date of two weeks. I requested the delivery to be before 1pm the day of delivery as my husband and I both worked the afternoon shift. We were told it would not be a problem. I even called and verified with customer service. A few days before delivery I called again and was told that we got bumped to late afternoon. I spoke with a supervisor who said she would do everything she could to make sure it was there by 2pm. The morning of I called to check and was told I was scheduled for 4:15pm. I had to call out from work and lost a day's pay and they wound up coming around 1:30 anyway! We tried the bed for several weeks using all Number settings but decided an air mattress was just not for us.

    I have been trying for almost a week to get through to customer service for returns but am on hold for almost an hour each time before I finally give up. I tried online chat but they told me I would have to call. This is just ridiculous and I am so frustrated at this point. All I can think is that there are many people trying to return their mattress and that is why I can't get through.

    My wife had slept on a Sleep number before and knew she would like it. So, she wanted one and she was hoping that it would be more comfortable. We purchased the entry level one, the cheapest with the power bottom for reclining. It has the support underneath that would tilt up for watching TV and for lifting your head and feet. The sales professionals were very helpful. Also, the delivery team were nice and they let us know when they brought it. They also put it together. Everything was positive. The bed is what we expected it to be. We put about four-inch memory foam that my wife already had on top of it but we knew we were going to do that. The only disappointment is there was no bracket to hook the headboard to so it's in the closet.

    I was starting to have some back problems and I read a bunch of reviews on Sleep Number so we bought their mattress. We also got sheets, a couple of Boomerang pillows as well as regular pillows, and a mattress pad which comes with a warranty if I spill something on it.     I've wanted to always come inside the Sleep Number store so when I had the time, I decided to stop in. The lady greeted me very nicely and asked me if I'd like to try out which I did. I laid down, she adjusted the numbers and I felt the contour of the mattress fit to my laying position. I didn't go in there to make a purchase but since they approved me for credit, I told them that I'd have my wife to try it out first before I make the purchase. My wife and I went to another store to try the bed and she liked it. So I went back to the lady at the original store and told her that we're set to go.

    We like the bed that we bought from Sleep Number. We wanted our bed to raise up and down and to have the lights under it. We've got a Split King so my wife had her side and I had mine. The sales rep guy was really nice and polite and knew what he was doing. He really worked with us right up until we got it to buy it.     The delivery guys came and set my Sleep Number mattress up in 10 or 15 minutes which is very fast. But now, it is a little flat because air is leaking. I push in the air to 100 sometimes at night when I’m going to sleep but in the morning it’s down. When I called, the operator told me "I'll give you a video on how to use the mattress." I told him I knew how to use it and that maybe there was a mistake in the mattress or pump. I have a two-piece and had changed it and now, only one is leaking but that's still no good and maybe I should change to a one piece.

    My wife wanted better sleep and be able to adjust the bed up. Also, I have always wanted an adjustable bed because I like putting my feet up. So, when she saw Sleep Number's ads we stopped and checked it out. The salespeople were great. They knew everything there was to know about the bed. They were very accommodating and they were very well trained. Plus, I never felt any pressure at all. There was a two-operational bed that did have one piece but it was limited in its function. So, when we were lying there and went, “God, there's going to be a hole in the middle here. What’s going on?” the salesperson had an answer for it but dismissed it a little bit. He spent time with us explaining but he didn't let us know the extent of what we were about to go through and it didn't appear like that big of a deal. It was all done well so we got the whole thing. The delivery crew came and they set it all up. They were also fine.

    The quality of the Sleep Number bed was fine except there has been one main issue on this thing, which was not good. We got the one where you can adjust it the way you want to for each side of the bed. Meaning that there's a divider in the middle of the bed. That became a very big thing between my wife and myself because we've never had a divider between us. So now all of a sudden, there was this canyon there. It became a physical separation then kind of an emotional separation and it got really bad. So, I'm thinking, "Oh my god, this is not good." We slept together for the last 35 years and we never had anything separating us. It was horrible. There wasn't any getting used to it. It got worse and worse and we’re literally rolling over and falling into the darn thing. Half of my body is stuck in it when I want to give my wife a goodnight kiss.

    My wife was getting so unhappy and said, "You know what? Let's just go buy another mattress. I don't give a crap anymore. I’m tired of it." So, we experimented around and got rid of the divider. We bought some foam rubber and stuck it in between so there wouldn't be a divider there. But the foam rubber was too big and stuck up and created even a greater wall like the Great Wall of China. So I'm going, "Honey, may I just telegram you when I go to bed at night." We were not happy at all. Although I'm sleeping relatively well but still this was not working good. So we cut the foam down. It was relatively good except that it inhibited our ability to use the function of the bed properly. We could still do it but it was still this foam gap there that didn't work out very well.

    So, we bought this mattress cover that went over the top of the bed and it made our bed like it was one bed again. So we just have one bed again without being able to give it to the kids or sell it or give it away. The mattress was fine and the foam topping unites the thing and so we’re relatively stable and back to one piece again. But, you can’t raise it up because the mattress binds it all together. Even so, I don't care anymore because things are somewhat back to normal and stable, which is all I really care about, my own life. We've overcome the issue and we’re back, and our marriage is on stable ground again, thank God.

    Sleep Number was recommended by a doctor so I purchased a queen size bed. The reps were very professional. They tested it and I sat on various models and found what our Sleep Number would look like. I scheduled a home delivery with my Sleep Number purchase and the delivery team was knowledgeable. Although they banged up my walls a little bit, they were apologetic. It was comfortable in the store but when I got it home and I tried it out for as long as I did, it was making my back and neck and everything worse.

    I set it to a Sleep Number level that was recommended and I used it for about 80 days and then I finally realized I’m not getting any better. My wife was having issues as well. We ended up seeing our chiropractor a lot more and he said “What’s going on? Why are all these out of alignment? You guys should be getting better.” And so, it ended up being worse. I had to argue with the company during the return process. They want to send me more stuff. I said, “No. Come pick this thing up.” And they tried something else with me but a week later, I told them that I don’t want it and to come and pick it up. It took them another 20 days to do it. It was also a pain in the neck with the bank to even get everything settled which took another 90 days after that.

    A friend of ours had a Sleep Number so when we stayed with them we stayed on it and we liked it. We purchased our own Sleep Number mattress, pillows, and the system to make it go up and down because the top of it is split. We like that it goes up and down, and we like that it’s adjustable in terms of the numbers. The only thing that I don’t really like is that the top is split and the bottom’s not so the more we use it, the opening between gets bigger and bigger. There’s almost a hole in the top now and the V is much wider than when we bought it.

    We ordered two beds (one king P5, one queen P5) and paid in full on 3/19/17. Delivery date was set for 3/25. We only bought the mattresses, so we invested in bunkie boards, are ready to have them delivered... At noon on 3/24, we receive a call stating that because of an error in store, the delivery date was moved back until 3/30. The problem is/was these were being delivered to a handicapped 87 year old man's house, where on the 25th he would have had help here, on the 30th there would have not been any help.

    We contacted customer service at the 800 number provided, and after being on hold for no less than 30 minutes, got no satisfaction, to which we were transferred to Returns, and after another 30 hold, we finally just cancelled the 4200.00 order. Since the warehouse for these beds is only two hours away, there is no reason why you could not have made concessions to keep a satisfied customer. Now, you have lots of bad PR going on, since we have nothing nice to say of our experience and of your product or service.

    I purchased and owned Sleep Number beds at different points then. We love our Sleep Number bed. There was never a question as to getting another Sleep Number bed. It was only a matter of which one we were going to get, and when we were going to get it. My current wife and I have only been married four years and this is her first Sleep Number bed, but she loves it.

    The Sleep Number sales representative was fine. However, the delivery experience wasn't the best. We purchased the frame wherein each side of the bed can be altered so we can sit up and read. We can change positions. And the delivery guys had a wrong piece and it was a bit of a mess between my wife, having to be there. And then, she had to get to work, and then I had to leave work at another point to get back home so that they could fix the bed. The only other person at home was our 15-year old son. I called the store and complained about that, and I never really heard back from anybody.

    My wife and I have very busy and very responsible, high-wage earning jobs.     We bought our first Sleep Number bed about 12 years ago, and then a little more than a year ago I was having problems with swelling ankles and legs, so we went shopping at various places and when we came to Sleep Number, we found that particular bed that we wanted and we bought it. We got the split, super king bed that's like a couple of twin bed mattresses put together with a super king underneath for a base.

    The sales rep explained everything to us in a manner that we could really get a hold of and she helped us all along the way. Then I had wonderful service from the installers. A couple of fellows came and installed the bed in no time and explained everything to me. They were knowledgeable, and yet they were young and moved around well. They acted like I was the only one in the universe and as if they didn't have anything else to do that day, although I know they did. But they took their time and made sure I understood what they were telling me. I took them for lunch, which they said doesn't happen very often, and I was so pleased. The whole process was terrific.

    So far, I'm very satisfied with the Sleep Number bed that I purchased. However, it's difficult to get the products that I need for linens because these have to be king-sized bottom sheets and then the mattresses are a couple of twin beds. I can't buy that just anywhere. I have to go through Sleep Number for that, and sometimes that's difficult for me. I'm not big on this online business. So, it seems these are pricey, but then everything's pricey when were on a fixed income. Nevertheless, Sleep Number was excellent and satisfying overall.

    Sleep Number was something that I tried to get the kids not to do for us. They all had one and they loved it, so they had it in mind and thought that we would do better with it. We’ve always slept in a double bed so we never had the next step up. We didn’t even want to change but my kids were insistent and so it came. But I had some difficulty in liking the bed because I have a lot of back pain. It's sort of sciatica. I couldn’t find a number that would give me enough firm support that wasn’t uncomfortable, but I finally decided how I could manage it.

    I realized that a pillow under my legs and something stiff between the mattress and the bed pad could help me with it and I have done well. But that's not ideal. I am 88 years old so I have to learn how to manage the pain I have and I can almost always, but it wasn’t an easy transition for me because of my back pains. It wasn’t the bed’s fault. It was my special need and I finally settled. I had it for a year and with the different ways that I have now of supporting my back, I just left it alone and I’ve been fine.     I had a Tempur-Pedic mattress which I had replaced three times. My back hurt so bad it had gotten to where I couldn't get up anymore. The last time they replaced it, they had to have a guy come over here and check it to make sure it was the mattress and it wasn't just me. The major complaint about the Tempur-Pedic was that you tend to fall in a hole after a while. The guy told me he checks all kinds of mattresses and I got to asking him if he's gonna buy one, what would he buy and he told me about Sleep Number.

    I bought the platform and a mattress up in Nashville and I bought the second mattress a year later in Jackson, Tennessee. Both places were really nice and the reps weren't pushy. They let you lay and flop around on the bed and answer all your questions. I've pretty much made up my mind as to what I was going to get and then they told me how long it would take before they could get it to my house. Then, they called and the people that delivered it set it up and hauled my whole stuff off. It worked really smooth.

    I've got no problem with the mattress at all. It's no big deal but I'm still playing with mine a little bit. I set it at 35 and sometimes, I set it at 40. Then, recently I had some back surgery and so, I've been setting it on 50 which I sleep well at. The nice thing about it is if you don't like it, all you got to do is to push the button and adjust it to where you want it. In the morning when I get up and I slept on it at 35, I have to inflate it back up to 55 or 60. That keeps the mattress in shape and keeps it from bagging out. It's amazing that when you get to tuck your sheets in, it don't weigh anything, it's easy to make your bed up once you're used to those big heavy mattresses. I told a good friend of mine about Sleep Number and he bought one. He got a deluxe model and he's really happy with it.

    We had a Tempur-Pedic prior to the Sleep Number. But our Tempur-Pedic gave out after nine years that it started sagging pretty bad and didn’t hold up at all. And so we got two Sleep Number beds. I liked its modular concept. If one piece of the bed goes bad, it's replaceable. One of our Sleep Number is more of a basic unit and the other is a very high-end unit with the adjustable bed frame. I really like them. They're very comfortable. I can set it the way I like it. Although last night, I forgot to put my number in and when I woke up this morning, I was really sore. I looked around, and was gonna reset the bed to a 100, but it was already at 100. So I slept on a hard, firm mattress last night. For one of the beds, the delivery team was pretty good, although for the other one, they set it up and did everything, but they were in a big hurry to get out. They didn’t answer all of the questions I had, and we had to fumble around a little bit.

    We also have an issue with our higher end Sleep Number. My side of the mattress leaks a little bit because whenever I set it from a 100 to 65, it lets a little bit of air out. If I do the same thing to my wife’s side, it seems to let more air out. But mine goes back to 100. The thing that's interesting to me is that it always shows 100, but I really don’t think it is. But it sleeps good. And when I set it to 65, it seems to be that way all night. We also bought some sheets from Sleep Number but I don’t really care for them because they're a little too clingy. Although it's really easy to change the sheets. I really like Sleep Number a lot. Their customer service people have always been very good to deal with.

    Hoping the bed outweighs the cost and customer service after purchase!! Seems like once we signed the CS went out the door! Here is my story! A few weeks ago we decided to invest (and I mean INVEST) in a Sleep Number. When we went into the store the Bennie, the sales associate (SA) was nice and helpful. We took the information he gave us (after asking a lot of clarifying questions) and left for a while, pondering the information, the cost, our need, and desires. We then decided to do it. This was NOT a light decision for us given the price of the beds. I would not consider myself cheap, but I do put a lot of thought into my purchases, even small ones. We had been told and heard the beds are fabulous, so we went for it.

    After signing the papers, we left very excited. Again, I am not one to take a purchase lightly so I went home and was going through everything and realize there was a discrepancy between what we were told and explained & what was invoiced. I decided to go back to the store (across town) to talk to Bennie, because he had been so helpful. To this point, I was feeling good service had been great. When I went in there was a different SA, Paul. Paul not only told me something completely different, he proceeded to try to argue and convince me that I just did not understand. I left feeling very frustrated and decided to call Bennie the next day, because I wanted to get some clarification and had asked the questions with the initial purchase. When I was finally able to speak with Bennie, he proceeded to explain what he said in the store, which still did not add up, but at that point, I was so frustrated that I gave up trying to talk.

    One item that upset me the most about the entire situation was that they were both telling me different things; they were not even giving me the SAME message. Even if I did misunderstand when I purchased the bed, neither seemed to care how upset I was nor did they bother to listen to me. They both seemed more interested in stating they were right, not trying to explain or make me feel better about purchasing from their store. At this point dropped it, I was not getting anywhere and I was honestly wasting breath. Now, fast forward a few weeks when the bed is supposed to be delivered. When ordering the bed Bennie asked us to pick a delivery time (8-12 or 12-4). We did picked a time and he explained we would get a confirmation. I took the day off work; we got an email saying our bed was set to be delivered, so we thought nothing more of it.

    After waiting around until there was 30 minutes left in our time period I decided to look our delivery up. The system was not working, but noticed there was a chat live, so I decided to start there. I asked Alia the rep if she would be able to tell me when I could expect the bed and explained the situation. Her response was that if the store told us a time they should not have that times are not set until the day before. Enough said, she gave me another number that I could call to see for home delivery. I had to ask her if she was a robot (self-generated messages) because the conversation just seemed, again, scripted.

    At this point, I was SOOO upset I called the number she gave me in tears. The rep I spoke with, Corey, was very sincere and helpful. He did tell me that the delivery time was changed from 8AM-12PM TO 4PM-8PM. I took the day off work to be there in the AM, and I was not notified of this change. He told me that I should have gotten a generated message, neither my husband nor I did (I verified both numbers and looked at the call logs on both phones). I took an entire day off work and had no idea that the bed was not even supposed to be at my place until late afternoon. In any case a generated message should not be sufficient, they should talk to someone. I had no missed calls or messages, and now down work hours.

    Here is the point to my long post... I honestly feel that after the sale, customer service went to the dogs - it felt like in the store, they got my money, commission and they did not care anymore. The phone reps were great. Please do not get me wrong. But I would expect more from someone who just sold me a $3k Plus bed. The pricing including extras and delivery should be clearer. Bennie told me I was not paying for delivery and Paul told me it was because my bed was on sale. They are both sales persons, they need to be consistent. If you can NOT set a delivery time and there is really NO time until the day of the sales associate should not GIVE you a choice of delivery times. They should give you a DAY and tell you someone (IT SHOULD BE A PERSON) will call the day of with a time. They need to make you aware of this. I am fortunate I could use my PTO time but not everyone has that available.

    I am still giving this a chance because I have heard good things about the bed and both my husband and I need the back support. My husband is on third shift and we are trying to get him more quality sleep with less sleep. The customer service reps on the phone were VERY nice and willing to help. Again, they were great. Our bed is finally here and up. NOW I can only hope it is worth the money because heaven forbid I need their customer service for any issues.

    Buyer Beware, you do not want to buy a Sleep Number Bed. You are told that you will have the best sleep of your life and that the bed will stop yours and/or your partners snoring. Not true! There are actually two positions on the remote for Snore and Partner Snore. This was the selling point for us to purchase the bed. We bought the bed and continued to have problems with snoring for both of us. There was no reduction in the snoring.

    Furthermore, you are guaranteed that you can return the bed if you are not completely satisfied after 100 days. Partially true. What you probably dont remember is you can only return the bed, not the base that you have to buy in order to use the bed. The base is fully connected to the bed and remote controls. What good is the base without the bed? Make sure you fully understand that you cannot return the base. You own it because they will not take it back. As was in our case, we bought the split-king and had a hard time sleeping in the bed. It took more than two weeks after our agreed upon delivery date to get the bed. We actually got a bill for the bed before we received it.

    We informed Sleep Number we wanted to return the bed within three weeks. The bed is too high off of the floor which makes it impossible to sit on the side without breaking down the side panels. We constantly felt that we were rolling out of the bed because it is higher in the middle. The bed did nothing to relieve our snoring. It took over four weeks to get the bed returned to Sleep Number and we had to pay for the return shipping service. We are still out over $4000 for a base we cannot use, not to mention the cost of the return. We do not recommend this bed to anyone.

    I have a Tempur-Pedic mattress, one of the top-of-the-lines, and I wanted to try a couple of the Sleep Numbers to compare because I believe in good sleep for everyone. My wife and I bought two Sleep Number beds with the base and all the electronics with it, and we definitely think they are superior. They're for my mother-in-law and sister-in-law and they both love them. However, we did not like the first saleslady. She was too strong and pushy. We left that store and I knew I wanted that bed, so we went to a different store, and the salesperson there was not as pushy and was more educational. We also saved money because we caught the first saleslady lying too. Apart from that, the installation was perfect. Overall, it's a good product and I tell everybody about it.     I was so excited to finally get the Sleep Number that I've been hearing about for years. I've been using the bed for 2 1/2 yrs now. It's the most disappointing purchase I've made. I was willing to pay the extremely high cost of the mattress for a good bed. Unfortunately, this is not a comfortable bed at all. I get up with back aches. I've tried lower settings and finally moved it to 100% thinking I need it to be firmer. The worst part is that the mattress sags terribly. I get in on my side and practically roll to the center.     My husband and I purchased our Ultra 3 bed back in 1998. In 2010 we were having problems with one side of the bed going flat so we took it apart to investigate. At that time we noticed that the internal foam and the air chambers were very moldy. I contacted Select Comfort support and told them what happened. They said that at that time the beds were not treated for mold and that they would replace the two components free of charge. At the time I thought how honorable. The real problem however was that because none was mold resistant the whole bed should have been replaced. I was not instructed by the customer service representative to inspect the pillow topper carefully for mold. But now I know, I had noticed some mildew and used heavily diluted bleach water to clean.

    So long story short, is that this whole mess is costing us $883.43, buyer be very mindful. I love my bed but wish that I would have been told, or that everything would have been replaced in 2010. I went from being the happiest customer to one that is pretty dissatisfied. Yes they gave me a discount, but had they advised me to check everything out carefully or just replaced the whole bed as it was not mold resistant in 2010, I wouldn't be here very disappointed and out a bunch of money. I asked to speak with the lead to plead my case but per the gal that was on the phone she wouldn't take my call. I don't believe that is very good customer service. I don't know if I'm being realistic here or not, but I don't think that what they did was right, mold is a serious issue. Is there any way that I could get some of if not all of that money back?

    A year ago, we got a mattress from them and the sales reps were helpful. It's improved my wife's sleep but it doesn't seem to be a good solution for a person who sleeps on their belly. It's quite painful. If you're weighted heavier in the middle, it allows your stomach to go down into the mattress and it concaves your back. Then, if you harden it up to account for that, then you have your back being arched. But it's been fine so far. Sleep Number resolved a problem that we had with the mattress which was sagging in the middle and had our body shape embedded into it. I also have noticed the loss of air in one of the sides but it doesn't seem to be a persistent problem. I would buy another one if I needed another bed.

    I purchased a Limited Edition Innovation bed with adjustable base, and sleep IQ technology for an extra $300, paid total $8,000.00 2 years ago. The mattress is hanging off the base leaving a gap of 9-12 inches in the middle of the bed and you falling off the bed or hanging on to it when using. I started notifying Sleep Number at 3 months. The mattress has been replaced entirely once under warranty within the first 2 year with additional items, shark bites that bolt and hold the mattress more effectively acknowledging to me a defect issue they have with this product. The problem has reoccurred. Since second round, the same constant manufacturing issue, I asked for an upgraded mattress to be fair that maybe doesn't have this issue paying a prorated rate plus a discount for this inconvenience of their manufacturing issue.

    A Select Comfort supervisor offered to replace the same components again for the tune of $690.66 since now we are two days over the 2 year warranty and now I'm in prorate years. I was told to fill the mattress to 100 every time I wanted to get in and before I got out of bed, so not doing this! So after paying $8000.00 for a bed, I have to pay an additional $690.66 per year to fix the manufacturing issue with the mattress every year, and it's prorated my friends, so that price will increase every year, Sleep Number befitting. I told her to email me how much I have to pay to fix said issue in writing as this was unacceptable to me as most likely it will not resolve the problem being replaced already. Currently contemplating my next move.

She specifically asked the salesperson if she could return the pillows if she did not like them. The pillows were basically crap (Low quality and expensive). We got the bed that is adjustable as far as the height. The sale rep was very informative, and everything went fine. We wanted to try the ones on the sample floor and see what the actions were. So, that’s what we did. And their delivery team gave us a whole bunch of information. My wife loves our Sleep Number bed, however, I do not like it. I am sleeping in a recliner. I can’t find a position and I can’t find a number and I’ve tried every adjustment. When it got to where the numbers seemed right, it felt like I was always falling out. It just didn’t work for me, but the experience was fine. In addition, I haven’t had anybody else I talked to that didn’t like it, and we talked to a lot of people before we got it.

The sales reps were also courteous and answered all my questions. They weren’t very pushy in selling and that was quite impressive. I had the bed delivered and that was a pleasant experience as well.     Anybody considering buying a Sleep Number be aware of the fact that you are totally at the mercy of the company's delivery department as to when you will get your bed. A friend of mine ordered a bed from the same store and the same salesman. She was given a delivery date of 4 days after sale. I was given a delivery date of 22 days after sale. We only live 8 miles apart. I called customer service and asked for a better date. They told me they were at the mercy of the delivery department.

    Today I received a call to verify delivery on Tuesday. Today being Friday. It just so happens that there may be a major snow storm in my area. When I spoke to the delivery department they said that they will make every attempt to deliver but if they cannot they will give me the next available date. Not mind you the very next day, but the next available day. In other words you will get your bed whenever we damn well deliver it. My suggestion is to make your purchase contingent on a delivery date of your choosing not theirs. This may or may not help.

    I bought a Sleep Number p5 mattress, and I also got the base, pillows, and bedding. When I was at Sleep Number, the reps gave me the standard sit down and try it out. And, the lady manager was very kind. She offered me the opportunity to go in the back and look at the mattresses to see if they're heavy or not, and in fact, they're very light. That was really nice because I was able to see if I could lift it around. I had my items delivered and the delivery guys set it up and then they left. I had no problems.

    Overall, the quality is very good, but I would have liked for it to come standard equipped with a foam top, but other than that, it does as advertised. The only thing is that the software or the app that comes with it is very lackluster. Its readings tend to fluctuate daily, in which the amount of time that I spend asleep or my heart rate seems to be a little finicky. Also, it doesn’t want to connect to the phone all the time. It needs to be polished a little. I don’t use it, so, it's not a big deal and it doesn’t affect my use of the bed. All in all, my experience has been very good.

    We were very satisfied with the purchase of our Sleep Number mattress and the mattress itself. It is very comfortable. We were very dissatisfied with the delivery of the mattress. When the two delivery men arrived I asked them to wear footies over their shoes since they would be entering my carpeted bedroom. Our house is new and the carpet is beige. They put them on but later took them off while they were working, which I did not appreciate. One of the men was busy texting his wife several times when he was suppose to be putting our bed together. The most upsetting thing that happened was that one of the men stole my crystal seahorse I had bought in Waterford, Ireland. It was on my night stand and now it is gone. I called the company and they said they could not do anything unless I filed a police report. I do not want to get the police involved. It's too bad the company has untrustworthy people delivering their products.

    We’ve had an air bed before and then some Sleep Numbers. We purchased the original one 18 years ago and the motor on my side wasn't working anymore so I couldn't adjust the air and could only use one side. I wanted a newer bed and the adjustable one. The sales rep had us try out beds and helped us decide between which adjustable he thought was best for us. He was very helpful. We decided to get a headboard so I went online at Wayfair and found the one I want. But the adjustable beds don't work with the headboards and I had to buy a headboard or the bracket from Sleep Number. When I went online to buy the brackets, I couldn't get them at the store or find them online so it's been difficult and I’m still trying to get the brackets so I can get my headboard.

    We had a Sleep Number before and it deteriorated over the years, so we went out and bought a different kind of bed and we weren’t happy with it. So we went back to Sleep Number and got the mattress and the legs that go under the base. But I was a little disappointed this time because when we bought our first bed, we got two remotes because it’s a queen size bed. This new bed only came with one remote.

    When I called them, because I thought there’s got to be a mistake, they said, “No, it only comes with one remote.” I told her that’s crazy. Because you’ve got two people sleeping on a queen size bed and the beauty of it was that each one of you could control your bed the way you wanted it to be. And she said, “Oh, well, you can pass the controller back and forth.” If you’re sound asleep during the night and one of you wakes up and wants to adjust your bed and the remote is on the other side, that's a pain. They said we would have to pay for the second remote separately. The service was good but Sleep Number should go back to giving out two remotes for a queen size bed.

    I had a Sleep Number bed for a few years. I was pleased with it and I wanted another. I met with two different representatives. One at a mall store and the other from a home show. Both reps were very informative and helpful. Frankly, I was nervous because when I went online last year, Sleep Number was getting a lot of negative internet exposure about not delivering the product and having a lot of failures. The reps assured me as to why it had happened and did some changes. They made me comfortable that I didn't need to worry about my purchase.

    I had home delivery and the people set the mattress up, and everything went perfect. I was replacing one and moving it to another home. They were gracious enough to help me box up what I was replacing and give me, at least, a little bit of confidence before I moved and set up the second one on my own, which all worked out perfectly as well.     I was pregnant and basically could not get comfortable to save my poor life. My partner is much heavier than I am so on our old bed, I kept dipping and turning into him. We decided to correct that and get a Sleep Number cause we knew it would be comfortable in the long run. First, the sales reps wanted to find out what our sleep numbers were, so they put us on a mattress and showed us the pressure point relief as they increased or decreased the stiffness of the bed. When we flipped on our sides, they did the same thing.

    We got an idea of where our number range was. Then we gave a very honest budget and they showed us the bed in that budget range, and that's where we looked. They did everything in their power to get the price down as low as they possibly could for us. We got the basic box and then two knee pillows for free and that helped a lot during the pregnancy.

    The Sleep Number is a hard bed to ship. We are military and even though we put the caps on when we moved, the mattress is still deflated inside the mattress cover. It was a really heavy and awkward mess. Also, one of the zippers on the mattress cover completely broke and it was really annoying. We decided to take it and stuff it in the basement because it never stays put. The temperature regulating pad that is put on top like a foam pad works really nicely. We're trying to convince my parents to buy a Sleep Number as we know they would love it and they need it so desperately.

    We have four of the Sleep Number beds now. The most recent one we bought was in the last six months, a queen-sized C2, and we pretty much buy the same thing every time. We were educated consumers. We already owned a few of those, so the salesman didn't have to sell too hard which he didn't and he made it very fast and easy.

    But we had a dual chamber before that was bad. So, we interacted with them trying to get them to send us a new one because we knew there was a problem within the first day we set it up. But it took a number of phone calls. I waited for 48 minutes on hold calling the customer service and that's ridiculous. Nobody's customer service should have it that long just to answer the phone. I know everybody's trying to cut costs somewhere but if they're really gonna cut their staff that low, then they need to do a queue system that some of the other companies are using where they'll call you back.

    I finally gave up, hung up and called the guy who sold it to me thinking he'd have something invested in this game but he wasn't there. The other person at the store said they have to call customer service and I said I already did that. What it finally took was my salesman had to come back to work which was a couple of extra days. He pushed back on customer service to get us a new one. There was a certain sequence in which you test it, he asked if we tried them and I said yes. He said they'll send me another one and I had it in less than a week. So, once they did something, it was exactly what we needed to be done and it was no problem. Also, they have good products and we're very pleased with them.

    Our mattress wasn't that old but my daughter had their Sleep Number for a month and kept bragging on it so I came over, tested it and it was cool. So we went down Sleep Number's place that Saturday and the sales rep was very nice but didn't have to sell us as we were already sold when we went. I love my Sleep Number. I wouldn't turn it back in for anything. It works every time.

    We got the double where they're like twins and my side can come up and his side can stay down. The delivery people came in, set it all up and took care of it. I like all the different ways that he could be and I could be in the same bed, which is really nice. He needs to sleep with his feet up because he's diabetic. We also got to where I can look on my phone to see how rested we were the whole night. My only complaint was there was an extra cost for a skirt going around the bottom. Also, the bedspread doesn’t go all the way to the floor so I can see how the bed ends and begins from the floor. By the time we bought the sheets, the expense was getting a bit much so we didn’t opt to get the skirt.

    But overall, the quality of the mattress is great. We've had it for a while but it's still as superior now as it was when we bought it. There's a lifetime guarantee on it, too. I've recommended it to people who've asked "it costs that much?" and I said that they don't have to get all the bells and whistles which is what we did. I just got out of the hospital where I had half of my lung removed and was really glad that I had all the different places where I could lay. So when I came home, I went to bed and it was wonderful to be able to adjust my Sleep Number bed in comfort the way I felt I needed it. I am very happy with the Sleep Number bed.

    We purchased a flex-top king Sleep Number bed 2 years ago. The bed itself is fine, although in retrospect probably not worth the cost. However, due to the unique nature of the flex top, you MUST buy the Sleep Number sheets. Each set is $200.00, which would be fine for a quality set of sheets. These sheets are not quality and are simply unacceptable. We have had to purchase 6 sets since purchasing the sheets, because they repeatedly split where the flex top ends. I have tried to contact Customer Service twice and waited on hold for 20 minutes each time before giving up. I then emailed 2 days ago and have yet to receive a response.

    We've had a Sleep Number bed before so when our mattresses worn out my husband and I got one for me. My husband doesn't like other people coming in so I put it up with the people in our house and it wasn't bad. I like the bed, and I also liked my previous one.     My husband and I came to the Sleep Number store knowing the model we wanted which we reaffirmed when we got there. The person that helped us was very friendly in letting us try out all the different bed features, showed us the cooling mat versus the squishy mat side and he showed us all the different stuff that there is. Then, the delivery was fine, nice, easy and there were no problems. We got the i10 model. We both liked different mattress firmness and we thought that would be the best solution. We love the bed and I especially thought it was good. I went through a pregnancy now with the bed and being able to change the mattress firmness based on how my back felt was really great. It's not something I thought about when I bought the bed but I really appreciated having it. I don't think we would go back to not having a Sleep Number now.

    My other bed wore out so I decided to make a purchase with Sleep Number. I got the whole deal - the base, the bed, and the stuff there. I met with the sales representatives, they showed me the bed, and then I bought it that same day. My experience with the delivery team was excellent. I had really good service. I've been using the products for a little over a year. However, right now, I'm having problems with it. I'm starting to lose air on one side of the bed and I can't figure out why. Initially, my experience has been good, but right now, I'm a little dissatisfied with it. I was going to call customer service a week ago about it.
