    With the Sleep Number bed, I can raise my feet and raise my head if I want it. I can adjust the pressure of the bed on either side as well. If I feel I’m comfortable with the head, I can put it back, and the same thing goes with my feet. I’m satisfied that I can do what I want with it. I have several back problems and if I want it adjusted to fit my position on my back, I could. I have two Sleep Number beds right now. One is less than a year and the other one is three years. It’s expensive but if people want it, they have to pay for it. Financially, it's not worth the money, but what choice do I have when I want something? Their sales reps were nice and the delivery team was good. Having a Sleep Number is rewarding, and I'd recommend it.

    We’ve been long-time customers of Sleep Number and we love the accessories and all the products. We purchased a bed six or seven years ago and then upgraded to a new bed. We needed new pillows and went back this last weekend and got pillows to match the bed. We're very conscious about having a good night's sleep. I made purchases from a store out of the Clackamas Town Center and it's been great. The sales reps were very friendly, very helpful and very well-informed.

    I purchased some beddings last year or earlier this year but the delivery did not go very well so I'm not really thrilled about the delivery process. The delivery of the blankets took four weeks and the order was mixed up and it was very cumbersome to have something delivered. I get very leery if I want to purchase something that's not stocked in-store because it takes so long. But the bed delivery was timely and I’m satisfied with the products. Sleep Number is great and I’m very happy and very satisfied. They’re worth the money that’s why I keep going back.

    I've had a Sleep Number bed before, which I bought many years ago, so I got another one. This time, I got a king size bed with a head part that goes up and down, and it is split in the middle. The reps were very nice and professional, and the young man that waited on me has been extremely helpful. Sleep Number delivered the bed and set it up, but I kept my old mattress. The overall quality of my latest Sleep Number bed seems to be fine and I'm not having any problems with it. Everything was good with Sleep Number and I've recommend them, and I've already had someone buy a bed from them.

    My husband and I are excited to receive our new Sleep Number bed. I like a very soft mattress and my husband likes a firm one, so this way, with the Sleep Number bed, we can both be happy sleepers!! For 20 years, my side of the bed has been 4 inches taller because I have been using egg crate and foam cushions to soften our mattress. Finally, our bed will not look so bizarre, and we will both be comfortable and well-rested. Thank you, Sleep Number! For the amount of time people spend in bed, I wish we had made this investment years ago!

    Pump failed in middle of night, deflating both sides. I've had seven spinal surgeries in four years, which is why I bought the stupid thing. Phone support had me crawling on the floor like a two year old unplugging things and replugging them. Then they tell me I have to wait to have a pump shipped in 5-7 days, then crawl under the bed to install myself. If that doesn't work, and only then, will I be graced with the privilege of a service call under what you call a warranty - during a Holiday week, so I'm not holding my breath on expediency there either. In the meantime, do my wife and I sleep on the floor? The lawn, as it might be softer? Or do I pay the $100 plus per night to sleep in a hotel? I expect more for an overpriced product.

    I recently purchased a C2 Sleep Number mattress. I absolutely hate it. I called to return it as I was told would be no problem. They will not return it for 30 days. This bed is extremely uncomfortable and killing my back. Furthermore, I was told when I purchased if I did not like it I could return it and get my money back, expect the delivery fee. I find that fair, now I was told they will charge me an additional $179.99 to pick it up. This is absolutely unfair!!! I will never deal with this company again!!!

    Updated on 12/02/2017: So I called to say I was not happy with my bed. I find it extremely uncomfortable, I was told I MUST wait 30 days to return it. I must sleep on it for 30 days. This seems ridiculous but I do as I must. Now, after the 30 days I call again to arrange pick up and told they cannot pick it up for 3 weeks. I will never ever deal with this company again. I have had a truly horrible experience with Sleep Number!!!

    We had a different Sleep Number bed but we wanted one that had the flex that we could put the top up or down. We dealt with Tony and he was wonderful. He was very patient, answered all our questions and was a good listener. He also called to check up on us when things were delivered. The delivery team came right in, set everything all up and showed us how to work everything. I’ve had Sleep Number in my home for 16 years and my husband always says if there’s a fire he’d throw the bed out first. It was a great experience and I would do it again.

    Bought this 2 years ago and I’m very dissatisfied with it. I believe the guy who set it up didn’t do it right. Set it to 100 and it’s too soft, go lower and it gets even softer.     My first night's sleep was wonderful. I hadn't been able to sleep in a bed for years. The delivery team set up the remotes for each side which was quite unlike the experience I had with another company. Previously I would wake up in the middle of the night with back and leg soreness.     We just purchased a P8 pillow top and our delivery date was for Nov. 7th at 8pm. The delivery guy was very nice and set it all up. So this was my first night and when we woke up the left side was totally deflated. My husband was trying to see what was wrong but the pump would not work. He called customer service and he had to do a diagnostic test first before they would do anything. So when my husband came home after work he was under the bed trying to figure it out how to do this test which was very hard. We are thinking if this already happened now after 24hrs of having it how are we going to do these tests when we get older. There's no way! Now we have to wait 2 weeks to get a tech to come back out. We are not satisfied and can't return until Dec. 7th and the base is non-refundable. The shipping is not included either. I don't get to test it out now. So unhappy! Buyer beware!

    We moved to Florida 20 years ago and our first bed was a Sleep Number. The name of it was Select Comfort at that time and we ordered it by mail. It was comfortable but it made a squeak in the beginning, and they sent us something to cure that problem. One of the units went bad and we purchased a whole new one two months ago. I went into the store and the experience was very good. Overall I would recommend Sleep Number. As a matter of fact, there was a lady and her daughter trying out the bed in the store when we ordered ours. And I told her, “For whatever it’s worth, we’re here to buy another one because the old one, after 20 years, one unit went bad.”

    We initially received our bed on September 15, 2017 while we were out of town on a camping trip. Therefore, our first view of our bed did not come until we arrived home on September 17, 2017 and boy were we extremely dissatisfied with how the bed looked and functioned! The bed was so poorly installed and the foam pieces in the mattress did not appear to fit correctly. In addition to the bed being so sloppily put together the foam inside the duvet was not square nor level in height. The entire bed appeared so uneven, lumpy and out of shape, as well as the flex fit function did not work properly. With that being said, the foundation was not level and did not work in unison with the right side.

    In addition to these issues, the bed was placed so far away from the wall and was not centered below our bedroom window as requested by our son. My son stated "I mentioned my concerns to the installers and I had to assist in moving the bed because one of the installers had cut his hand on his box cutter." Thankfully, my new carpet did not appear to have blood on it! That night, we did not want to sleep on the bed for fear of not being able to have it replaced. But, after calling customer support and being put in contact with supervisor David, he seemed to really listen to my concerns and seemed very supportive. David then asked "Could you please forward some pictures which showed the imperfections and our concerns?" After further conversations with him, he stated verbally "I could exchange your i8 Flex Fit for the 360". I then told him that I would have to discuss his offer with my husband and get back to him.

    After speaking to my husband I called David and told him that we decided that the 360 smart bed would not be a good fit for me because I become overheated very easily and that the 360 is made with memory foam which is known to absorb heat. During our conversation David sounded as if he had never made that offer! David also informed me that he would replace our base and mattress, which we agreed upon. Then on October 6, 2017 our base and mattress was replaced minus some of the foam inserts. Unfortunately, the replacement foam for the duvet was once again, poorly manufactured and was neither level nor did it look like the foam insert that is displayed in the showroom.

    I immediately contacted David to inform him that the duvet foam was once again unacceptable! He then stated "I will personally go to the plant and make sure that a properly constructed foam piece be mailed to you to replace the previous poorly constructed duvet foam." Unfortunately, David has not followed through with his statement to replace the duvet foam and I should not have to remind him! The sad part of our current experience is that in comparison to our first purchase of a Cal King Series 7000 in January 2004, in which we were extremely happy and satisfied with and even got teased occasionally by our friends and family for sounding like we were making compensated endorsements.

    We totally regret this purchase and feel duped by the sales team and our sales person Amy, from the Brentwood, California showroom for not informing us that the flex fit does not come with the 100 night warranty and that the sale is final on the flex fit base. We were also never informed that the Flex Fit mattress would separate immediately and worsen over time. The only reason we purchased this new bed was because ours was destroyed in a house fire on July 26th. Unfortunately, this purchase has left a bad taste in our mouths because the quality of the materials and workmanship is subpar to our first bed. Yes, David had our bed replaced but the bed is not much better than the first.

    Finally, I want the Sleep Number company to know that their unwillingness to resolve our issue will spread like wild fires to all my friends and family and that they all will hear the sad, sad truth about a company who no longer takes pride in the materials used to construct these beds and bases as well as the poor workmanship of their current products which they do not stand behind.

    I would have given zero stars...I never got a bed! I purchased this bed on Oct 26th and after 3 failed delivery attempts, (1. missing part, 2. cracked foundation, and 3. missing a whole entire mattress with another cracked foundation) I had no choice but to cancel my order. I have lost complete confidence in the Sleep Number brand and will forever warn others, who plan to purchase from your organization, by sharing my awful experience. Again, complete disgust in how we were treated and the lies that were made by customer advocacy, in that they ensured we would not have any further issues after the first debacle. This is, truly, one of the most frustrating experiences I have ever had to deal with. I never had a chance to experience a Sleep Number bed and never will.

    It's wonderful with Sleep Number. I had a lot of back problems and I had tried several different mattresses. I tried Sleep Number because it was an adjustable mattress. I tried a pillow one time, but it didn't fit me just right, so I ended up taking it back and exchanging it. But I bought the full set with my king size. This one was for a camper. So, I just bought the mattress and the cover. This is my second mattress to buy from Royce. He's at the Sleep Number store in Huntsville, and he's a great salesman. He's very professional and super helpful. They shipped it both times and I was able to follow directions in setting it up.

    I've been perfectly happy with Sleep Number. I find it to be extremely helpful for my back. I don't have near the back pain that I once did. The only issue I have ever had was on my first one, the zipper got hung on the mattress cover, and I sent it back. It was absolutely great customer service, and I'll keep coming back. The customer service makes it all worthwhile to me. My king's in storage right now because we're waiting to build a house. But I need a new pillow top, and I liked that you can purchase those parts separately, I don't have to purchase the whole bed again.

    We went from a waterbed to a Sleep Number and when we moved, I was having back problems again so we went back to our Sleep Number. We replaced it with a new one recently and it's about the same as the old one except we only have one remote for this while the other had two remotes. Their sales rep was very informative and very nice. He explained well but we were almost familiar with everything. We were pleased with him. The delivery was fast and easy, and the new bed is of high-quality. Everything worked out great and Sleep Number should keep doing what they’re doing.

    I bought my Sleep Number bed and adjustable base in 1994. The base lasted til 2016 with very little maintenance. I called the company a total of 3 times, for which the customer service people were knowledgeable and personable, and able to fix the problem without difficulty. I then bought my chronically ill daughter a Sleep Number & adjustable base in 2013 after she broke 6 vertebrae in her spine. She feels the same way I do. I feel that if the quality and expertise that this company has were available in all other businesses, there would be no unhappy customers anywhere, ever!

    I purchased 3 beds totaled almost $14,000 but was not worried because of 30 day trial. I now wake up with migraines and back aches. My daughter now has back aches. My son tosses and turns all night. I tried different number settings for 30 days with no luck. The bed in store does not feel like the bed they deliver. I tried returning all the beds and was told I cannot return any bases. The cost of the bases are $3,800 for Cal King base, $200 twin base and $400 queen base Not including tax. They said I can return the beds but have To pay return delivery costs of $200 and I have to keep all bed bases. What am I going to do with these bases? Return service said, "Sorry but it's in fine writing". What a scam! I now sleep on my couch!

    Thanks Sleep Number for ripping people off! Shame on you! By the way these are all air mattresses and you can feel the uncomfortableness of it! You are better off buying an air mattress from Walmart for $20. I paid $14,000 for backache and headaches! Don't waste your money. Go buy a Posturepedic from Costco. Wish I did! After I bought the beds I met a lady that told me not to ever buy one because it's a scam and she now has permanent backaches and she can't get her money back. Please don't fall for the pitch they give you in store! I give 0 Stars!

While the FlexFit adjustable bases are a final sale, the modular base on your twin and queen beds are eligible for return underneath the trial.     Our friends recommended Sleep Number. We've had our first Sleep Number since 1998 and it was a king-sized bed. Then we purchased the second, a queen size for our son and we've purchased two motorhome beds, one, we purchased about 17 years ago, and then another new motorhome bed we just got this summer.     I am a repeat Sleep Number customer. I had the Silver Edition king size bed first. Then my daughter got her queen size. And then, I got the i7 with the adjustable base. I had a Serta before my Sleep Number, and it fell apart. I had to have them come out and find out if it’s still under warranty. They replaced it but the replacement started falling apart, too. So, I decided to go to Sleep Number.

    The Sleep Number sales representatives were okay. They told me I was going to get a remote control, which I had to go back and get. So, I wasn’t happy with it. By the time that we’re done, my purchase was $8000 and I couldn’t get a $40 remote. They said it’s on my phone, but in the middle of the night when I’m asleep and I can’t read because I don’t have my glasses on, I shouldn’t have to turn on my phone, put my glasses on, and then find the app and the section, instead of just hitting the button on my remote. Luckily, the store manager was very nice and got me my remote. The first delivery team was great. But in the process of delivering it, something happened with the bed and they had to order a replacement base. And about a week later, the new base came in and they came in and replaced the base. They took care of it and everything was fine.

    Bed FlexTop King I8 - My wife and I bought this mattress thinking this would be the ultimate gift to ourselves for a well-deserved good night’s rest. How could we go wrong? It adjust to fit your weight and firmness preference. We are both lighter body weights but both like a slightly different firmness level. I have tried every level in increments of 5 from hard to soft to find a level that doesn't leave me with a horrible night sleep from the back pain I get after 3-4 hours of laying in it. We contacted Sleep Number before our "trial period" was over and they sent us a memory foam type mattress topper to add to the bed.

    This did slightly help the comfort but in the long run I still wake with back pain and get out of bed after 4 hours of laying down. My wife dislikes the fact if she moves from her 2-foot width of bed that the firmness level changes. We both think that the $7000+ that we spent for this bed was the worst waste of money we could have done. We were perfectly happy with the 10-year-old mattress we had but thought it would be a good time to invest in new and give our old to our son who was moving out. He still refuses to trade us for our high dollar blow up mattress with adjustable base that squawks when you adjust it.

    It's been so long ago I don't have the order number anymore. I loved the bed when I first got it and then the foundation gave out. Sleep Number sent me a new one at no charge. Now the sides have given out and it leaks air and I have to boost it every three or four nights. It is supposed to be guaranteed for 20 years, but when I got ready to move and found the information I discovered that it would only give me credit towards the purchase of a new bed and on a sliding scale of how long I had had it. I don't know why it leaks and the sides giving out is a design flaw.

    I don't want credit toward the purchase of another bed that cost twice as much as it did when I bought it. It's had no rough use and never anything sharp in the bed at all so there is no good reason for it to leak. I could have replaced my bed three times for what I paid for this one. Not the best investment I ever made. Purchased in Independence MO under my husband's name, Paul **, about 12 or 13 years ago.

    I ordered this i10 bed and waited two months for delivery. I was excited to have this high-end bed. But, from the start it did not function properly. On average once a week one side of the bed would not register any data and many other times the data was wrong. While the co. said they were working to fix the problem nothing was done so at the end of the 100 day trial period we returned the bed. This is the first time I returned a defective product and was charged $200 to have it picked up. Very dissatisfied. I tried to post this review at Sleep Number and they said it didn't comply with their requirements for a review.

    First Split King would split so far it was two separate beds. Ask to exchange. Took another 4 weeks to deliver the exchange, they brought the wrong mattress so it took another 5 weeks to get the right bed. They pushed the delay very another week, so I tried to cancel and the Base is non-returnable and the rest is restocking fee. Very bad idea to buy from these guys. Bed was 10k. You would think they would bend over backwards for spending 10K on a bed.

    I went to the Sleep Number store in Plano on Dallas Pkwy and a lady helped me and picked a pillow for me. I told her I don't know which one to pick. I came here to get an expert to help me. She recommended a pillow for me when I took it home to sleep on it was horrible. I woke up in the middle night from back pains. I was in pain. First chance I got I went back to store and told another employee of Sleep Number and she said sorry, recommended another pillow to me. The second one hurt my neck. I went back the next day and William an English guy was rude and horrible to me. He needs to be trained how to talk to customers.

    I have never been treated like that before. I was shocked, all this happened less than 2 weeks! William was horrible and I will never put my foot in that Sleep Number store again. I work in the medical field if I get treated like that I would not have a job. This my 1st time dealing with your company. I'm still in shock. I don't know what to do with my pillow. I paid all that money and my time was wasted and was treated horribly. Now I can understand why that store was empty every time.

    I recently purchased a new adjustable base for my Sleep Number bed at the Baltimore Home and Garden Show on October 22, 2017. It was delivered today, November 1, 2017 but was deemed defective/damaged by the setup technicians. I was told it would be 3 to 7 days before another base could be delivered, but in a subsequent phone call a representative said a week and a half. After resolving the issue with upper management, I will now get the new base 5 days from now.

    Upon further examination of the new base and remotes left behind by the delivery men, I discovered that our Sleep Number queen sized mattress pad had been permanently affixed to the new base by the delivery/setup man. He also did not put the batteries in the remotes correctly, which could explain why the motors did not respond when he tried to operate the adjustable base. I am very disappointed with this experience. A technician should be sent to my home to really see if the base is damaged and Sleep Number should provide a new mattress pad.

    Can't seem to get your delivery team to make it in their scheduled delivery window. After two attempts cancelled the order. You ask $1700 for a base and cannot accommodate your customer's delivery needs at all.     My partner purchased a king adjustable bed in 2004 to 05. It has always lost some air. The foam sides of the bed are breaking down and need replacing, the adjustable base always gives problems and the bed leaks air. Called service on Oct 31, 2017 to explain the problem and asked for service under the 25 year warranty. After 25 minutes with the chat person I was told she would send an invoice for the parts needed and as soon as they received payment the parts and instructions would be sent (Warranty?). I explained that I never had a warranty where it was do it yourself. The chat individual did not offer a service call.

    If you are looking at a sleep number bed you have no warranty. If you read other issues you will find they are quick to add charges. We will be buying new mattress for our guest room and RV and this company will not even be a consideration. If someone ask me about the mattress I will tell them there is no warranty and any issues will mean a do it yourself and no customer service.

The first 2 years are covered at 100% and after that it is prorated. Year 3 starts out at 72% and it goes down by 4% every year after.

    We also strive to make our beds easier to service, should our owners have any troubles, which is why your warranty provides coverage for replacements due to manufacturer defects, but doesn't include a technician. We can do troubleshooting right over the phone or online and get a solution on its way to your home often in less time than it would take for a technician to come out to your home and report back to us.

    We had a Sleep Number before and we purchased another one. We got the i8 mattress, the base and some pillows. It's the most expensive bed that they have on the market and the sales reps were wonderful. Miranda and her staff at the local store were absolutely phenomenal. However, our experience with the delivery team could have been better. When they installed the i8, they didn't unwrap the base. We had a lot of problems with the base and the heating pad in it was recalled and it was reinstalled this past weekend. There was a lack of communication between the store and the corporate office as nobody knew what was going on. But the local manager did an exemplary job and the quality of the products is great. All in all, they have gone out of their way to appease me and to make me happy. I'm not happy with what occurred but since then, everything has been taken care of in a very exemplary fashion.

    We had a very bad experience. From the start, the bed kept deflating on my husband’s side. We kept putting his setting back in, and bed kept deflating. Then the remote kept saying "connectivity error". We went away for a week, came back and my husband sat on his side of the bed, and was sitting on the base. I called customer service and the manager of the Sarasota store to have this bed picked up. It was too big of an expense to have so many problems. Both insisted I had to pay the fee of close to $200 to pick up this defective bed. Now, I will take up the matter with the credit card company. Very poor customer service! I paid to have it delivered. Why should I be responsible for another charge to pick up a defective bed? My sister was going to purchase one. I told her about my problems, and she won't be purchasing one.

    Purchased top of the line mattress with adjustable frame maybe 2.5 years ago. Had become very uncomfortable over time with both of us rolling to the middle of the bed. Took FOREVER on the telephone to schedule a service call about a month out. Quoted $189 service call cost (they didn’t mention that when purchased). Thought there was a lifetime warranty. Anyhow, servicemen not very knowledgeable, but did note that interior foam was ripped and said replacement would be shipped. This did not happen. (It has now been several months).

    Tried to report via email as phone service was so time consuming and got an automatic response to my email that they do not respond to customer service via email. Then WHY do they provide a customer service email address? Someone did leave me an apologetic message and said I needed to call them to resolve this issue. Why? Had already spent over an hour on the phone AND had service people here to report that I needed replacement parts. Very unhappy with customer service as well as a very uncomfortable (very expensive) mattress. I think the quality is very poor and service extraordinarily poor. Would not purchase again. Appalling for the price.

    We got five to seven different Sleep Numbers in our possession and I purchased an adjustable queen bed, mattress and the vibrator over a year ago. I was also getting the warranty worked on. I have arthritis in my spine now and I wasn't getting a really good sleep so my sleep doctor told me to find out what's going on, and I thought it could be the mattress. I told Sleep Number about my concern when I called and they said, "Try this." I've had problems with the immediate store but the main number was great during the follow-up. The main store gave me information that wasn't true but I asked if there is a main number I can talk to then I called their 800 number. They proceeded to ask me tons of questions and got to the root of the problem and that was perfect. The quality of the bed is awesome and they can practically meet everybody's needs.

    I like the vibration which was the movement between the head and the feet. The lights underneath the bed are awesome because you can add other things to the light control and that can go on at the same time. As you turn on the lights on the bed, another light or a heating pad can go on or whatever you want to plug in can go on too so that is a cool option. The mattress has been good for everybody. We've had our mattresses in our camper, at home and we've given them as gifts as everybody could use one of these. The only thing is some people don't want to pay the price for a good sleep and that's been the thorn in the paw if you will. The adjustable bed was pretty heavy so it was nice that the delivery team was there when we did the setup in one room. I’ve told my friends to go for Sleep Number since it's worth the money and worth the investment in your life.

    Our first bed was purchased in 2002. It was time we bought a new bed. We purchased the i7 with the adjust base. Went out and had to purchase all new mattress pads, XL Twin fitted sheets etc. Spent about $300. Come to find out that Sleep Number has received a lot of the same complaints I have. One side of the bed/mattress slides off the bed leaving a large gap in between the mattresses (Cal King Split). We had service come out and they verified that they are sent out to many homes with the exact same complaint and there is no way to fix the issue, but they keep selling the bed! I phoned customer service and asked for a supervisor. After speaking with supervisor he spoke to upper management and they said they would take the adjustable base back, but charge me $500 for a restocking fee!! So now I am out $800! Now going to speak to "Case Management."

    Long story short... I am an insider, which means I have owned a Sleep Number bed for 13 years. My boyfriend also has a Sleep Number bed, which is even older. I decided to upgrade, as I wanted a base that would lift my head and feet and I felt I was due for the upgrade. At the time of my upgrade, the base I was interested in was the base that had the light that turned on when your feet hit the floor and turned off automatically when you got back into bed, as I get up often in the night. The two beds I was considering were the iLE and the i10. I liked the i10 because the base had the lights that turned on automatically when you got out of the bed. However, I liked the iLE also.

    I had been to the store several times. I went into a store to make my final decision and was told by another salesperson (my salesperson was not in that day) that the iLE with the FlexFit 3 base had the same exact lighting as the i10 that came on automatically when your feet hit the floor and went back off after you got back into bed. With the pricing, I opted for the iLE because it was at a lower price point and had the lighting that I needed and liked.

    After my bed was delivered, I played around with the lighting that night and could not get it to work when I exited my bed. I contacted customer service the next day to find out how to operate it. I waited on hold forever and finally was connected to an agent. She told me it was in my app, but I could not locate it. She put me on hold several times and then we were disconnected. Ugh!!! I had to leave for work so called back again later. After another long wait, I was finally told that the iLE FlexFit 3 base had the light, but that it did not go off and come on automatically, as I was told it would. You had to use your remote or phone to turn it on/off. I was so frustrated that customer service did not know this the first time I called and I was even more frustrated that I was told by a salesman that this was the case, as that is what I based my final decision on.

    I contacted customer support yet again to express my extreme disappointment. Had I known, I would have purchased the i10 that had the under-bed lighting that automatically came on and off. They told me I could exchange the bed, but wanted to charge me a $500 restocking fee and another $179 for the delivery. I asked several times if this could be waived, as I felt I was not informed correctly of the features of the base. Not even their own customer service department knew the difference between the i10 FlexFit 3 base and the iLE FlexFit 3 base.

    I ended up upgrading to the i10 with the FlexFit3 base, spending an additional $3,283.94, in addition to the $7K plus I had already spent. I feel completely ripped off and I feel like there was no consideration for my claim. I upgraded my bed to the highest bed they make, so that alone was many dollars spent in the company's favor, and they would not consider waiving the $500 restocking fee and the $179 delivery fee. It is only for this reason I am giving them 1 star... And it is only based on the customer service.

    On a positive note, my salesperson (Trini) in the store was amazing. Very helpful and friendly. I guess I should have brought the whole automatic lighting on and off with her instead of whomever it was I spoke with. Hugo, who did the delivery, was very professional and it was probably one of the best delivery experiences I have ever had with any company. He was helpful, kind, and efficient. So, for your salesperson, Trini, and for delivery, Hugo, I give five stars. On another positive note, I LOVE MY BED and give it five stars. This is most likely the last bed I will ever buy, so spending this much on a bed is ridiculous, but every night when I crawl into it, I understand how happy I am with the bed. It is really an amazing bed. Would I do it again? Well, not at this point as the frustration and feeling my voice was not heard took all the fun out of my purchase.

    Purchased my bed in 2014 in September. Have had few good nights of sleep since. When I was having issues at first, they offered to send me replacement chambers. They did and it didn't fix any problems - not to mention it was a terrible pain in the butt to take apart the bed and put together the new parts. I've stopped dealing with customer service because they can't fix my problem - it's been too long. In the last week, our bed has went from bad to worse. I literally cannot lay in bed for longer than about 5 minutes without being in severe pain. I've slept in the living room chair several nights and I want this nightmare to end. Unfortunately it's outside the time I can get rid of this hunk of junk and get a replacement or refund. Do not purchase a bed - I don't think I would sleep on one for free at this point. I'm miserable and sick of this bed.

    I've bought air pad camping mattresses that were 100% odor & toxic chemical free. I thought for sure Sleep Number would surpass a camping air pad in every aspect. Nope! This is a highly toxic bed. Full of chemical odors! If you are chemical sensitive you will notice it right away. If you are not chemical sensitive you will develop a "mystery illness" until you finally put two & two together (if you're lucky), before you poison yourself to death. I am livid!!! I had to pay for shipping to get it here, & now I'll have to pay for shipping to send the POS back. They will never listen to you. They said, "You listen to me!" When I want to return they said they gave me papers and "You should read all papers before sign up!"     I am upset with the fact that when I placed the order for the replacement part apparently the payment did not go through and no one contacted me to get this issue resolved; I had to contact the company again and to get resolution which means I have to wait even longer to my replacement chamber for a bed that is not usable. All the customer service reps I spoke to were very professional and helpful, I just feel like this problem just fell through the cracks. I expect better attention to detail especially with the money that goes into these beds initially.     We bought a Sleep Number 20 something years ago, and we enjoyed it. We had a California king and we had put it in our waterbed frame. We got a second one and thought we might prefer one that the head could be raised, and then my husband decided to go with the feet thing, and we’re finding that’s kind of useless except when we’re just laying around watching TV. But we enjoy our Sleep Number and it’s got great quality. We’re using it and it’s working for us. Their sales reps have done very well too. We visited several stores and everybody that we’ve ever talked to has been very knowledgeable.

    My biggest concern about Sleep Number has been the price. It is extremely expensive in light of other mattress companies, but it is definitely durable, our old one was, and I’m hoping this one proves to be that way, too. The pricing would have turned us off completely. But our son is a manager of the store here in town, and he told us when the sales were, and he helped us get it. Otherwise, I would have stuck with the other one.

    First I would like to give some background on our familiarity with electric adjustable beds. In 1999 we bought a Comfort Select (Comfortaire) mattress and base Relax in Comfort, Queen size RIC A-1052, power base. The base provided head elevation, foot elevation and several zones of massage. We had this base until August of this year. We had replaced the mattress once and with a Sleep Number mattress. This base served us well for 18 years with 2 minor repairs to the motor. We had been getting a lot of advertisements for Sleep Number so we decided to check it out.

    We went to The Florida Mall Store and our salesperson was Marisol date July 18, 2017. After several hours there we decided to buy the Queen Dual i7 Smart Bed and 360 Flexfit1 base. We also bought a total protection mattress pad, on sale this cost us $4,244.08. Also we made it known we have dogs and dogs were present when bed was delivered. Nowhere in any discussion of the bed did it come up as a problem for dogs and small children. Our dogs have ALWAYS crawled under bed to sleep or if frightened during a thunderstorm. The wires for bed were strung in looped fashion all under the bed frame, they hung down basically loose and attached to parts of frame in different areas. If we had known this we would have not purchased this frame. Or when bed was set up we could have secured the wires out of sight with duck tape so it would not present as a hazard.

    We feel this is just SLOPPY/ CHEAP workmanship, poor quality without any consideration of the household that would receive their product. The second issue is the POOR almost nonexistent customer service. We spent 3 days on phone trying to get through to anyone who could help us. After wait times of 10 minutes per each call we got a person who had no clue how to help us. We were put on hold and turned to another rep. We were often given incorrect information or sorry they couldn't help us... Too bad.

    I looked at the warranty for the bed and it indeed said no small children or pets should go under bed. Then really they should have asked us if we have small children or pets and never sold us the bed. We never got the warranty until the bed was delivered. Too little too late. We want our dogs to go on or under our bed... They are our family. We will have to have bed repaired on our money... They wouldn't even share expenses. They were just rude. I would never deal with this company again and we are letting all our friends know too. Store number 10196-10196 the Florida Mall Orlando.

    Have Sleep Number 7000 series California King. Went through divorce and got my Sleep Number back. When I got it setup in my new home I noticed Black mold on the pillow top. Called Sleep Number customer service. First agent Lindsay, said, "Oh that is something we will warranty. Can I connect you to that department?" "Yes please." Connected call to another customer service agent in the Allergen Dept. Minna. She told me it would be replaced under warranty and then connected me to another agent and as soon as I explained it a third the agent immediately Said "That is not a manufacturer's Defective. We will not cover but a replacement on is $1138.00 plus shipping and handling!!!"

    I explained the local Health dept. had a look at the pillow top and recommended I immediately dispose of the top and gave me specific directions on how to dispose of it properly!!! I paid approximately $4500 for this bed and have never ask Sleep Number for any warranty till this then I get the runaround. I am in the market to replace this bed within the next couple of weeks with a Cal King I8, but if this is their warranty service I think I look at other beds. A new I8 Cal King is in the $4800 area and pretty much NO Warranty!!!

    I walked into one of the Sleep Number stores in Yonkers, NY to look at beds. After asking a lot of questions and trying out a few beds my husband and I decided to purchase the i7 which the sales associate glorified. We waited about 2-3 weeks for delivery and that wasn't a problem. When we received the bed we made all the adjustments that were necessary and thought we were ready for the best sleep of our lives. We were completely wrong, the bed was very uncomfortable.

    I called the customer service number to set up a return date being that the sales associate mentioned that it was fully refundable. To my surprise the young lady on the other line said I couldn't return the base of the bed. Now I ask how is that going to be of any use to me if I am not happy with the bed. Well the lady was very rude, I ask to speak to a manager and she kept me on hold for 30 min. It is unbelievable how I can't get anyone to help me with this problem. My recommendation is to stay away from SLEEP NUMBER!!!

    My son purchased the Sleep Number mattress and one of my best friends had one for 15 years. They both recommended it to me so I went and bought one, too. I got their mattress, frame and bedding. I went to their store twice. The first was an exploratory type of a mission and that worked out very well. There was no pressure from their reps as far as buying. I even told them I wasn't sure that it was for me at that point and they said they understood and that most of the time people came back a couple of times. It wasn't an immediate sale and they were fine with that. They were very low profile but very helpful. And the nice thing about it is they did not spear me to the top of the line first then work my way down. They thought that the mid-range would be okay but I did wind up going a step above that, which was well worth it.

    They delivered the bed to the house, took it upstairs and put it all together. Then they showed me how to use the controller, asked if I was okay and then left. It was very quick and efficient. The bed is much more comfortable than the other one I had. Plus, this one has the ability to raise the head and the foot and I found that to be really helpful since I'm a person who reads in bed. I also noticed my back pain is 40% less now than it was on my other mattress. I'm perfectly happy with my Sleep Number. A friend of mine also bought one based on my recommendation.

    Purchased an i10 360 bed on 9/30/17. Paid for and scheduled first available delivery on 10/13/17. Broke down our old bed in anticipation of said delivery. Delivery showed up as promised. However, missing a leg. Told by delivery crew they could set the mattress up on our bedroom floor but we wouldn't be able to use the flex fit feature until they could order a leg, have it delivered then schedule another install. Declined this solution. Next solution, leave the bed in boxes in our living room until leg could be ordered, delivered and install scheduled. Declined this solution as well and refused delivery.

    Immediately received several phone calls from different Sleep Number Reps with several different answers to our missing leg issues (1 said the missing leg could be overnighted on a Saturday, another said no, a 3rd said a complete new bed would be to be shipped from their Minneapolis warehouse with an anticipated delivery date of next Saturday 10/21 and credit back our $179 delivery charge). We spent $8900 on this bed. None of these solutions are acceptable. Apparently this large company cannot escalate the order/shipping of a new bed. Still have no idea when our complete bed will be delivered. We are seriously considering requesting a full refund. If this is the headache we've had with delivery of my bed I can only imagine if there is ever a warranty issue.

    We've had a Sleep Number for about 13 years. Since its sides were sagging very low, we decided to get a new one. Their sales reps at the Paducah store in Kentucky were very informative and good. They told us a lot about the latest models and what would be better for us. We wanted something a little better than the one we currently have and they showed us what was comparable to it and gave us a couple of options. Then, we tried them out. Our Sleep Number was delivered to us and the delivery guys were very nice. They also set up the bed for us and then cleaned up after themselves.

    Sleep Number is generally a good product. The only thing is it’s hard to know if you need to make the mattress firmer or softer if you’re feeling a certain way. I have arthritis in one of my hips so I'm still playing around with it to try to figure out what's the better number for me because I'll wake up and I'll be sore in my hip area. Nevertheless, I’d recommend Sleep Number. Our overall experience with them has been good.

    Honestly this has been the worst customer service of my life. I would warn people not to buy a Sleep Number, and the Las Vegas Blvd location in particular. When I bought the mattress and adjustable frame, I showed the salesperson pictures of my bed and they assured me the adjustable would go right on top and fit perfectly. When they delivered the frame, it did not fit. It was too big. The deliverers (and my salesperson Dave) told me just to accept the frame, that the company would send me a smaller adjustable as a straight "swap" for no additional charge.

    I spent the next 2 weeks trying to arrange this. I called the store and customer service no fewer than 30 times. No one got back to me. No calls returned. Nothing but the runaround. Finally I got an invoice from them agreeing to the swap but insisting on charging me a large restocking fee. I called the store manager Francis and explained that I would sue for breach of contract. She said she could no longer help me and not to call back. She then hung up on me. This has been an exercise in futility and frustration. I would stay as far away from this store and this company as possible.

    I have a military background and I got tired of having bad shoulders, a bad back, back knees and sore joints. I purchased the mattress, pillows and the sheet set from Sleep Number and they are all excellent. Their sales reps were also unbelievably kind and very knowledgeable about their product. I knew exactly what I was looking for when I went to their store and they still walked me through all the beds and went to the whole demonstration with me. It's the best selling experience I ever had. Their delivery team was also awesome and great.

    I know there's a lot of bed manufacturers out there that say all these things but from my experience with Sleep Number, it's the best bed I've ever owned and will continue to own. If you don't have one, you got to go have one. You cannot go wrong with Sleep Number. Also, a lot of people look at the price of the Sleep Number bed and say that they can get something comparable to it for much cheaper. But the Sleep Number is not a purchase. It is an investment. So I have invested in a top quality bed and I don't care what anybody else says about all the other manufacturers.

    My husband went to a Sleep Number store at the Springfield Mall in Springfield, VA on Saturday, Sept. 9 just to browse. After spending several hours at the store we were finally convinced to purchase a bed. We were given a delivery date of 10/4 which I thought was a bit long but agreed to. My husband took the day out of work to receive the bed. When the delivery was made and the bed put together he discovered that the bed did not work. The mechanical portion made noise but the bed didn’t move. My husband told the techs to take the bed apart and remove it and he refused delivery. The techs were not happy and tried to convince my husband to take delivery anyway promising a new bed or someone to come and repair. He would not and called customer service right then and there.

    Customer service told him that he could receive a new bed but it would not come until 10/28. When I received the news I was outraged. I am expected to wait another 3 weeks for a new bed because the one that was sent didn’t work. I had already made arrangements to donate my existing bed and someone was on their way to pick up my existing mattress. So here I am without a bed that cost almost $6,000.

    I called customer service again to voice my displeasure and see if there was any way to expedite the delivery. Surely you have other beds out there waiting to be delivered and could I not jump ahead. I was again told nothing can be done. I hung up waited a week and subsequently canceled the order. Not once did I receive a call from your company apologizing or even acknowledging the problem or trying to offer some type of remedy. In my opinion very poor service and follow-up especially considering the expense. I took my $6000 elsewhere. Now I am told I can't return the mattress pad that was never used. Ridiculous.

    So my bed goes flat over the weekend. On Monday, I call the store where I bought it, they won't help and send me off to a 800 helpline. Call the helpline and instead of sending someone out, they walk me through switching hoses, and other diagnostic routines. This process uncovers the issue of one of the air chambers is leaking.

    So they PROMISED to overnight me a replacement part (for me to put in myself of course), and here I am four days later still sleeping on wadded up blankets since I have no cushion in my mattress. I finally get ahold of customer service and they still haven't shipped the part yet! Horrible customer service, and I serious flaw with this mattress design. Local stores should carry basic parts to support the customers.

    Our eagerly anticipated first night in our I8 has been completed. My sleep score was 82, which I KNOW is a big improvement. I recall waking up only one time during the night. My husband had only a 57 but that was to be expected because he is a talker and mover at night.     Owned Sleep Number i10 for 4 years. I am so unsatisfied with my purchase and sleep on a regular basis. I would rather sleep on my RV mattress than sleep in my bed. I have played with all the settings over and over and over to find my "Number”. I spent 4000$ on this mattress and am stuck with my GLORIFIED AIR MATTRESS until I can afford a new mattress. I highly do not recommend this mattress to anyone. My chiropractor has suggested I buy a new mattress multiple times. They do not recommend this mattress due to its poor support and the amount of times they malfunction.

    I have not had many issues malfunction wise, except the center support has been replaced but did not solve the problem of individual sleeping. If one side is softer than the other you get forced on to the softer side of the bed (no matter what the customer service rep says or has you adjust or do). My report is from a long standing experience of unhappiness and I tell people about my GLORIFIED AIR MATTRESS.

One glitch we ran into aside from the wrong box, was that the SleepIQ site was down for scheduled maintenance. It was difficult for our install team to walk through the settings/etc. because not only did the bed not operate as a top flex, but they weren't able to connect to the SleepIQ site.     Both my daughters have a Sleep Number bed. When I purchased mine, the sales rep who I dealt with was very good. I also bought the sheets and the pillows. The bed has a head tilt, foot tilt, temperature control, and night lights. I set it up with the head up and the feet up a little at night and I press favorites. The bed is a good product and I'm happy. The only thing I had a problem with was that it came with high legs. When you get it, you don't realize the height of it if you're not buying their frame. When I went to get my frame it was way too high and I had to order lower legs.

    Sleep Number is absolutely the most ridiculous company I have ever tried to deal with. You delivered the WRONG bed, have been jerking me around since May with endless excuses on how your store manager "accidentally keyed in the wrong bed" and now we would have to wait longer for the bed because they are "custom ordered upon purchase" as an explanation as to why I had to wait until September to receive the correct bed. You finally came to take the WRONG bed, finally offered to give me a full refund, yet I have not received a full refund, am still being charged monthly payments and get nowhere with customer support. I wouldn't recommend you to my worst enemy.

    How many times do I have to call, speak to supervisors, get the runaround, promise that the FULL refund will be handled as soon as possible? You've lost a customer forever. When you charge as much money as you do for a bed, you better provide the best customer service possible! I can't believe the endless runarounds, the endless lies and excuses that I've been given.

    My husband and I both have back problems and we got Sleep Number for the comfort. We can each individually adjust the bed to how we want it. He wants his mushier than I want my side to be. That makes it easy to be able to sleep and it's comfortable for us. Brett, the guy here in Colorado Springs, was very good. I'm a retired nurse and I was listening very closely to the things that he said to make sure they were accurate. People tell you things when they want to sell you stuff. But, he was telling accurate things about the body.

    We had our old Sleep Number for 12 years and it held up excellently. My daughter has it now and she loves it. We have the split King now, and we can individually put our head or feet up. It also has the massage. I love it. If I could be the person that stands around in the showroom, every time somebody comes in, I'd tell them, "You need to buy this bed." It's an excellent product and I like that they are looking at the consumer and what they need.

    Let me just first say I love my bed. My 2nd one in 8 years. Now that being said, The delivery people damaged my home. I've called twice about that before I actually got to speak with manager. I've sent in pictures and videos. I've not heard back from her. My king split is exactly that. The delivery people didn't attached my bed frames and my leg goes all the way to the floor from the foot of the bed to the head. I've already spoken to I believe 11 people today and everyone I speak with has to transfer me to someone else.

    This is very unprofessional on y'alls part. I ask to speak to someone to file a complaint and I get bounced around. The last person I spoke with said they couldn't come fix my bed for 3 weeks. SERIOUSLY?!? He put me on hold again to speak with a supervisor which did not go through. I've called back and they tell me I need to speak with someone in customer service.     We bought a Sleep Number i8 bed in August 2017 and have had nothing but problems. My husband had issues with the mattress staying inflated and on his setting, the pillow tops won't stay in place and there is a huge gap between the two beds (split king). We are returning the bed, but Sleep Number still insists on making us keep the bedding, which we have no use for, paying a restocking fee in the base and paying a pickup fee. The total for all this comes to $1750, which is insane on a product we are returning. We have tried to work with them but they refuse to budge. My advice to anyone looking to buy a sleep number is to go look at other mattresses and other companies. Do not buy a sleep number bed!!!

    My husband's parents got a mattress that they didn't like and since ours was old, we took it. But we didn't like it either and I wasn't sleeping well on it. My back was hurting and finally I had enough so it needed a change. We came in the Sleep Number store not exactly sure what we were going to do but their reps were very helpful and courteous. We had the bed delivered which took two weeks to arrive and it was just dropped at our door. But that was fine and Sleep Number's reps did a great job overall. Setting up the bed was very easy, too.     Aside from Sleep Number being the most uncomfortable and the most painful mattress I have ever owned, and aside from having to pay $179 for delivery and amazingly another $179 for return. The policy from Sleep Number is that you have to have had the mattress for a minimum of 30 days in order to initiate a return, however any bedding purchase like sheets, mattress protector covers, comforters, etc can only be exchanged within 30 days! This is a scam and this is designed on purpose!

    So let me understand this... The warranty will only apply if I buy your mattress cover, but if the mattress doesn't work out for me then I can only return it AFTER 30 days, but I can only exchange the mattress cover or sheet set WITHIN 30 days??? Hmmm, oh not to mention the $200 split top sheet set, those can only be exchanged within 30 days as well. So I would have needed to exchange my mattress cover and sheet set for something else before I am able to return the mattress! Sounds like a Sleep Number Blunder.

It’s not working so he had me call customer service to have me do one more test on my relay and it’s not working. But eventually, they were able to fix it and it started working again.     What a disappointment. Our king/split adjustable bed was set up wrong and we could only set one mattress at a setting of no 5 out of a 100 setting! It took a week for the air to get fixed, but then they discovered that our base is also broken and needs to be replaced. Still waiting on that to be done 3 weeks later. This is the biggest rip off on the planet. They say you can try it out for 100 days, and if you are not satisfied, you can return it and get your money back, but what they don't make clear is YOU CAN ONLY RETURN THE GLORIFIED AIR MATTRESS PART OF IT, YOU HAVE TO EAT THE REST, the base is NOT returnable. That was NOT made clear when they promised us we could return it within 100 days if not satisfied. But they say it was in the fine print. What a scam.

    We spent $6,000 and we both wake up in PAIN every day. I have to sleep on the couch half of the time. I weight only 108 lbs and my entire body sinks in the middle of the mattress. I feel like I am sleeping in a ditch. The edges have a firm foam around it, but it caves in the middle, even when set at the highest #100! I find myself trying to teeter on the 6" foam edge part for some stability, but that is not easy to do. My back is killing me, everyday. I wake up with shooting pain up my spine. My husband is in pain too. We never had back issues until we bought this mattress. We await some firm base attachment that they are sending us to help correct the SAGGING issue. That should arrive today. I will continue to review this product to let everyone know what I didn't know when we bought this expensive mattress. Signing off for now... The Sad Sleeper.

    We purchased on 8/26/17 the flex top cal king i10 mattress and base. Waited over a MONTH for delivery. Delivery date arrived and no issues with the techs. However, once installed the base is defective. They called tech support, store manager, district manager. etc. Best they can do is for me to wait 2 MORE weeks to get a new base. You can drive across the country in 5 days. How does it take 2 weeks for a defective product in STOCK. Never mind that payments for the defective product are due. I might as well have an air mattress on the floor.

    Delivery service was very professional and delivery person Donte called us to report their arrival status and we very much appreciated that. Setup was quick and efficient. However, when Donte was helping me set up our SleepIQ, he had me set up the sides incorrectly and maybe he should be informed. As I was trying to set up my account information as to the naming of our sides, I was doing it as though I was facing the headboard. He corrected me and said it should be done as though I were in bed looking at the foot of the bed, so that's what I did.     I had some back issues and couldn't get a good night sleep so I purchased Sleep Number. The most recent one I got was a night tent. I thought my interaction with their sales rep went really well, but he gave me wrong advice. We were taking our old mattress off to my daughter in Virginia. But we ended up changing our order and paying a lot of money. It was a mess. The delivery wasn’t good as well. It took me quite a while to get them to respond and come back and fix things, but eventually they did. I like the bed and it’s great, but people should be careful when dealing with Sleep Number. They ask lots of questions then don't necessarily accept the answers.

    I purchased a Sleep Number bed in February of 2017. I was told that when I purchased the bed, I would have access to service repairs via someone coming into my home and replacing what was damaged if applicable. Since February, I have constantly had the same hose causing inflation issues. I have called multiple times about this and they have yet to send someone to come and do the maintenance. They keep asking me to troubleshoot it myself, which I have done multiple times. My bed is costing me about $4,500. Had I known this bed was a glorified air mattress, I would not have made this purchase because once the air is gone, I have nothing to sleep on. I have rheumatoid arthritis amongst other spinal issues and purchased the bed in order to get some restful sleep. Since I have had this mattress, that has not been the case. It is the equivalent to sleeping on the floor.

    For $4,500, I don't see why I cannot get a service person to come to my home and fix these issues. I do not want to have to constantly take this bed apart and put it back together every single time it has an issue; and there are many. There is supposedly a 25 year warranty on the product yet a little over 7 months after owning it is completely useless. Once again, the bed has deflated and I am having to sleep on the hard base. After contacting customer service, they are trying to order parts that have nothing to do with the issue I am calling about and once again are refusing to send someone to my home. When asked how long these parts will take to come in we are being told 7-10 business days. I am expected to have no bed to sleep on for possibly two weeks which is ridiculous. I have never had these issues with any other mattress company and this is becoming a nightmare.

    Purchased during MN State Fair. Got C4 with 3 adjustable base for price of a 2 as the Fair special. Trouble scheduling first delivery of the day being a handicapped person who needs help. Customer service Refused to even consider first delivery of the day. "We treat everyone the same" and proud of it. Who wants to buy from them with this attitude! Sat on hold 45 minutes several times to get anyone to listen to my needs. There was a pkg left here with white plastic caps in it. It clearly stated it was to be put inside the mattress and they handed to me. Without saying they didn't put it where it belonged!

    Finally was able to get it scheduled. Was told 8 am delivery. Got a call the morning of at 8 to be told they were just leaving and that they never deliver at 8 am as they have to load their own trucks. Arrived and set up. When showing the remote I asked at the end where are the light and other things it's supposed to have. I was told that is not the base ordered. I had text message proof of what was supposed to be ordered. They called in and a customer service person who called me back was a total witch! She said, "It is not returnable and you should have not allowed it to come through the door so it is your problem."

    So beyond furious! I told her to get Samantha on the phone, she said she wasn't in. I said, "Well you better get someone because this is not happening." Amazed she came up with the person I asked for. She reviewed the call and couldn't believe what she heard but it happens every time you call them for anything. Had to prove they were wrong. I had to text the sales person I had the text message from. So they come the next week. Got to usual and they show up 9:45. Was told they don't load their own Truck and that they are loaded for them and they just check the load. They refuse to attach the headboard! The remote isn't set up. The base isn't plugged in on one side. There are lights that could be plugged in. They didn't address that at all.

    Had they even attempted to go through instruction of the new and different remote they would have figured it out. When I called I sat on hold for an HOUR AGAIN TO BE TOLD IF THEY COME OUT IT WILL BE 2 WEEKS! Because of my handicap I had to get someone to come here to do the job of crawling under the bed to do their job they should have done. I am more than concerned about keeping this bed from reading all these reviews I am very afraid to.

    Having already experienced terrible customer service I will be returning the bed as I don't feel you can trust this company. The TOP DOGS REFUSE TO SPEAK TO THE PEONS THAT BUY THEIR PRODUCT! I was told they would not call. They DON'T want to hear that they have huge problems between department communication. None of them knows what the other does leading to mass communication issues. The customer is stuck in the middle of all this crap! I have never ever run into such awful customer service EVER! We will see if the call back I REQUESTED on Thursday happens.

    Buyer beware when shopping for an adjustable bed. We spent $8388.83 on a king flex top i8, SleepIQ bed, base, bedding, pillows, delivery, etc (It's embarrassing that we spent that much, we won't tell family or friends the cost). We thought it would be worth it to get a good nights sleep. If you think you get a "trial" period, you need to read the back of the contract. The flex base, which was $2999.99 & bracket $39.99 ARE NOT RETURNABLE! Don't get caught up in the hype! We are not satisfied with the bed. We have owned a Sleep Number bed in the past, just had a Tempur-Pedic bed for many years. We have heard that these adjustable beds are best for folks with back pains like us. The bottom line... THE BED DIDN'T HELP OUR BACK PAIN.

    Now I am trying to return it and am told I only get half my money back. I can understand not being able to return my bedding and pillows, but not taking the base back is not acceptable. I hope to educate folks who get caught up in the hype of getting the best sleep in your life, and think it is guaranteed, or even that you get a trial return period. I recommend shopping somewhere else, as we will now need to do. We will try and educate more folks on other social media pages so they don't end up like us - buying a highly rated bed, expensive, and not being able to return the base.

    I struggle a bit to know how to rate this product because our experience has been so varied. We have had the bed for over 10 years, for the first 8 it was the most amazing bed I have ever slept on. I literally looked forward to climbing into it each night. It was cozy in the winter and although a bit on the warmish side in the summer it was never uncomfortable, and with a little air conditioning it was perfect.

    Then one day we were cleaning the bed and the cover that everything zips up into ribbed a bit on the bottom. Suddenly the support was gone, back pain, discomfort and generally miserable nights followed. We called customer support only to be told the cost of that cover was over $900.00. I was shocked. I could buy a whole new mattress for that. So we have tucked, stitched, taped and sown to try to get it to hold up. It is pretty good but when the repair fails as it always does we go back to the discomfort.

    I love the bed, but paying that kind of money should bring a better warranty. I can't fault the comfort level though - when it is performing - and given the time of ownership it gets 5 stars. That said, I doubt seriously I will spend that kind of money on a bed ever again. Had they sent me a new cover I would likely have done so, but I was so ticked at the price of the COVER that I just can't see myself doing it.

    Our most recent purchase from Sleep Number was a repeat purchase. We bought one 15 years ago as we were looking for something that will be very comfortable and now, we upgraded. Their sales reps were very polite and kind. They took their time explaining the products, the options and the pricing with us. We carefully got the moving bed and we let the delivery guys set it up. That went well, however, the legs that they put on made the bed a little too tall for my wife. I ended up purchasing much shorter legs and put them on myself. It was a little tricky maneuvering the wires and stuff underneath. I bought those legs directly from the manufacturer that makes the bed frames for Sleep Number and they sent them without any difficulty.

    With the previous mattress, we replaced the foam. The liner and the outside ring of the fold could use a little more stiffness. We've been using the new mattress for a year and a half now and I'm doing fine with it, although my wife is still having some difficulty getting used to it. She keeps ending up on the edge of the bed. We have the Double Twin King and I like that the head and foot part could be raised.

    I've also been to the Sleep Number website and we use the little app with our sleep scores for each night and it's interesting. I fall asleep in 5 minutes and sometimes they show an hour or an hour and a half for me to fall asleep and I wonder why they do that since it doesn't even show restless during that time. It's as green as the other part but for some reason, the app thinks I'm not asleep. Nevertheless, we recommended Sleep Number to several friends. The mattress was expensive but they've been easy to work with. They always try to be helpful and they're usually successful with that.

    My wife and I visited the Sleep Number store in Columbus Ohio (Polaris) and tried multiple Sleep Number beds. While obtaining our Sleep Number we were told by the sales clerk if we purchased a bed and was not completely satisfied after 30 days we could do a one time mattress exchange or return the complete bedding set altogether before the 100 day trial ends for a full refund. We also purchased 2 sets of sheets and 2 pillows which we were also told we could return for a full refund within 30 days if we weren't satisfied. However the sales clerk failed to inform us that only the mattress was refundable, not the frame/base itself or the pillows and sheets. (Base costs $2999.)

    In my opinion when a sales clerk states a complete bedding set can be returned within 100 days, that means the bed and the bed frame/base combined. Had I known this was not the case upfront I would have done a little more research before I purchased the set. Needless to say we are very unhappy with this bed and would like to return it for a refund.

    I called the customer service line and they stated there was nothing they could do because it states on the rear of the contract what the return policy was and it was my responsibility to read the contract before I signed it. I know it's not an excuse, however I did not read the contract as the clerk was rushing through the paperwork because the store was closing in 6 minutes. However the sales clerk should be held accountable as she should have been open and honest about what the return policy is. I am still within my 100 day return policy and would like a full refund from Sleep Number. (Including the base.)

    We needed a new bed or new a mattress for our separate bedroom and Sleep Number was most highly rated by Consumer Reports. I went to take a look at it and wound up with it. They had two salespersons. One was a lady associate and the second was the owner. The owner was absolutely terrific in every aspect. He worked with me to make sure everything was light. Plus, the delivery went perfectly.

    I used it for several months while recovering from surgery and found it to be excellent. I had back surgery and I could adjust the bed exactly the way my back needed it. Then when the recovery was no longer needed I moved back into the master bedroom. I'm very pleased with the mattress and I've recommended them to my son and daughter-in-law who live in a different city who also purchased one.

The wire remotes didn't stop working but I couldn't see the numbers on them anymore and I had to guess the firmness. I bought my second Sleep Number bed and the rep was very helpful. On the second bed, we upgraded to the adjustable head and the cooling mattress which is very important for pre-menopausal women. I work in a grocery store so I see a lot of women my age and for me, having that cooling mattress has been the best investment I've ever made. Sometimes it gets warm at night but I don't ever have any kind of hot flash and it's just a very nice, cool, sleep. I tell people that they need to get one of these if they’re having any kind of heating issues at night. Sleep Number should advertise it as that and target at an age group of women because it really does make a difference.

    I love the bed but my only issue was getting two remotes that control the cooling mattress and only one remote that control both sides of the bed. There’s an app for the phone but I don't always want to get up and turn my phone on, open the app and all that. I just want to pick up a remote. Nevertheless, I tell people about the bed all the time and I could be a spokesperson. I’ve gotten my dad, my mom, and another friend to buy a Sleep Number bed. I've recommended it but I've never gotten any kind of voucher for that which Sleep Number advertised. That wasn't a big deal though.

    When we initially purchased the Sleep Number adjustable bed, we had problems immediately with the adjustable base making noise. After technicians came to check it out the second time, a new base was installed. Now two years later the base is making the same noise. It would cost $179 for someone to come look at it, and the cost for a new base is way too much to pay for a problem that is a fault in the manufacturing of this bed.

    We’d heard great things about Sleep Number and had a couple of different chiropractors recommend looking at it. So, we bought a blanket and the queen size bed with the adjustable base.     I was having back trouble and couldn't find a mattress that works. I wanted a hard one but, it didn't seem to satisfy so we thought we'd get Sleep Number so we can figure out what number we like. Their sales rep was very knowledgeable and there was no pressure. He showed us the top of the line, the bottom line, and talked about what was in between. He even helped us out on a couple of decisions. We got the C100 mattress. The delivery team set the bed up good and did a good job. We had a pump, though, that got weak on one side so the air would go out at night. We called that in and they sent us a brand new one. Just like that, no problem and it is under warranty. So, it seems to be working like it's supposed to and I'm satisfied with its quality. My wife sometimes tells me that it has a soft spot in it but I'm happy with it though. I'll keep the bed for 25 years.

    We’ve had Sleep Number for about eight years now and we enjoyed every night we’ve had with them. We've bought from them twice and those times the sales reps were amazingly excellent. We scheduled for home delivery. The first one was great except for the remote didn't quite work right and it's like it never worked right. The delivery guy says, "Oh yes," but he never let me do it and then after he left it never worked right.

    And then the second one when he delivered our king split we had just gotten a brand new bed frame and the delivery guy splintered a piece of the back of it. He knew it because I watched him throw something in the trash and it was the piece of the bed that he chipped off. It could have easily been glued back on. So I wasn't too happy about that. But we love the quality of Sleep Number and I tell everybody to get one because they’ll never regret it.

    Horrible delivery process! When we bought our Sleep Number bed on 9/2/17. Our original delivery date was 9/16/17, two weeks after the date of purchase. Three days prior to our scheduled delivery date, we were contacted with a delivery time frame. One day prior to our delivery date, we were contacted to ensure we had the area ready. On the scheduled delivery date, one hour into our time window, we were called to have our delivery rescheduled, due to missing parts. After over an hour and a half of being on hold a new date was scheduled for one week later (9/23/17).

    Again, three days prior, we were contacted and given a window of time for delivery. On our second scheduled delivery day we were called again and told that parts were missing and they would have to reschedule, with the earliest date being five days away (9/28/17). After being on hold for more than 35 minutes (waiting to talk to a supervisor), we were told that they will investigate the issue and get back to us with answers. While the supervisors we dealt with both times were responsive and made the effort to smooth things over, their delivery system is broken and needs attention to improve its process.

    A PRODUCT IS ONLY AS GOOD AS THE SERVICE WHICH ACCOMPANIES IT. We cannot testify to the comfort of the product or the quality of our sleep since we cancelled the order on the mattress after we kept being given different "stories" about why the bed was not being delivered. We originally were told the bed would be made in Irmo SC only 1 hour away and it would be delivered on 9/12. We were called on 9/10 and told we would not get the bed since parts were being made in Florida and they were having a hurricane. Originally having been told the beds were made in Irmo and having heard nothing else from them, Tuesday my husband called to ask when we might expect to get our bed. Obvious they had not check on it, Steve called saying they would check on it and would call back Wednesday. We got a call at 8:45 pm saying we would get a call on Thursday with the information.

    On Friday my husband talked again to the local store who told him they still did not know when our mattress would be shipped and they would not have any information until Monday (9/25/17). My husband then called customer service in Florida and spoke to Johnay (who was nice). Our mattress had not even been shipped nor had any arrangement or inquiries been made about it to be shipped. She did not even have any possibilities for it to be shipped before the week after next at the very earliest. Through all of this it should be noted that on the direction of the local sales people my husband has cut up a $1,300 Sleigh king size bed withdraws and has taken the wooden parts to the dump and we have given away our box springs that go to a $3,000 mattress set on the direction of the local salesman. We are now sleeping on a mattress on the floor.

    My husband cancelled our order for the Sleep Number mattress... Johnay said that there will be no problem as they did not honor the terms of their legal contract. By federal law both parties must abide by the terms of a legal contract. I called the Sleep Number Customer Relations Department Keyon. In my opinion a total waste of time. He said that Robin had set up a delivery date with my husband for 9/26/17 and told me he had this on a recording which he could play for me... When I pushed him to do so he of course could not do so as no such date was ever offered. He also stated that everything I has said in the conversation had been a lie. I pushed him numerous times to try to get him repeat it but he would not do so.

    I strongly feel that Sleep Number owes me for the replacement of my bed as it was in mint condition and would never have been destroyed had my husband not have been told to tear it apart to accommodate the Sleep Number bed. We did cancel the order for their bed... After the lies we were told, the poor service we receive and now the poor ratings we now see I would not have a Sleep Number bed if you gave it to me.

    Bed horrible after almost 5 years. Wake up in the morning feeling like an 80 year old (in my forties with no health issues). Pain shooting through back and neck. Sweat constantly even though we bought the cooling gel pad shortly after owning - bed was too hot and pad doesn't work. No support left after 3 years. Body contorts like a U with no support - on side and back - impossible to sleep on stomach. Have adjusted to all settings, no help. My husband, who does have back problems, raved about this bed before we bought it (as he slept in one for a night - woke up pain free for the first time in years), so we bought one. Have regretted it since year 3ish. When we sleep on the couch or another (much cheaper and older) bed within the house, we have no back issues. Haven't replaced yet because we cannot come to grips with how much we paid.

    In all fairness, we never contacted Sleep Number due to the internet reviews. Around year 4 we started searching for reviews and saw all the negative reviews stating how bad their beds are and that nothing has helped. People just kept throwing money at it to replace parts that quickly wore out - limited warranty. We researched it a little before buying but experience was way more important. Now, as I'm researching new beds, I'm finding 18 year non-prorated warranties - on a $600 bed. Highly do not recommend this bed, glad people I recommended this to 4 years ago didn't waste their money. I would have felt horrible.

    My interactions with customer service have been extremely dissatisfying and I continue to have an issue with this company. They are not capable of resolving anything at this point. I was charged for two beds when I only ordered one. They cannot seem to give me a credit which I rightly deserve. I originally ordered the bed online and apparently it did not process. Meanwhile I called the company a week later to inquire and they do not have any record of me ordering the bed so I ordered on the phone. I was also promised a additional credit of $321.00 because I was a previous customer. They said they would credit me that additional amount as well. I have yet to receive that.

    Meanwhile when I got my credit card, two beds were on my bill. They all of a sudden I guess located my online purchase even though several people said they had no record of it. I have called numerous times and just yesterday was on hold 4 different times for a total of 1 1/2 hours. A representative said they were going to call me today and I have not received any phone call resolving the issue. This does not include the several phone calls made previously to resolve it. They promised it would take 10 days to resolve and now it is 15 days and my credit card bill is due.

    Meanwhile now I have to go through my credit card company and dispute the bill which takes up an additional amount of time as well. I cannot afford to pay for two beds when I only have one! Just very very poor customer service overall. I do not recommend anyone to purchase with this company regardless of how comfortable the bed may be. They are not loyal or willing to help and I am a very understanding person but at this point I have absolutely no faith at all.

    We tried the mattress on all different settings. The quality is just very poor. The air chamber is very poor in quality and power. We have been calling to complain about how uncomfortable this mattress has been since day one. Customer service just sent us some foam to pile on top of the chamber. Our backs have been in a very poor status since we started using the mattress. We went for one X-ray after another. We wake with very sore backs. Given that nothing else changed in our life. The reason I know it's the mattress is that when I sleep in a different room or go on vacation I don't have that problem. Customer service refuses to cooperate past the first 100 days. Save your money and back. It is not worth it.

    I went into a local Sleep Number store exactly one year ago this week and bought a $9,000 King adjustable bed. It's losing air pressure. I called them to get it warrantied. Supposedly it had a lifetime warranty on the mattress. I was told that it would be $185 service call no matter what whether there was something wrong with it or not. If there was something wrong with it they would replace the parts and their warranty but it was still cost me $185. For that much money I will never ever ever refer them to anybody. They are disgusting to deal with.

    Everybody was all hyped up about Sleep Number. I was having back trouble and I hated my bed and they said that Sleep Number is going to help my back. Since I already had the adjustable base, I just purchased the Sleep Number i8 mattress right before Christmas last year. I was told that it would come and I would put it together. But when I went to buy it, the rep said that it's company policy that I have to have it delivered and setup. So, I had to pay $179 for that but found out later that it wasn't true. Also, I was pushed into the phone app to log my sleeping which I didn't want and I've never logged into it. The people who came in and set that thing up were nice fellas.     My husband and I went into a Sleep Number store at our local mall back on August 13 and placed an order for a Flex Top King C4 mattress along with a FlexFit 2 adjustable bed frame. The store salesperson was incredibly help so we felt good about our purchase, BUT! That's where it ends. They won't be able to deliver the bed for at least 3 weeks (which I thought that was a bit long but we were willing to wait because we were excited about the bed). First attempt to deliver my sleep number bed was unsuccessful because we have to remove drawers and wood boards platform for our existing bed frame so that the tech can install the adjustable bed frame. At that time the tech drop off the sleep number mattress and took away our old mattress and called customer service to set up a new time/date to come out to install the adjustable frame.

    In the meantime I have taken time out of work AGAIN in which I completely tore apart my bed and clear everything out so everything will be well prepared and won't have an issue when the tech come back. BUT! Once the tech came back (a week later), they did not have the adjustable bed frame? They said that they had a "repair" service put in NOT an install. This as you may know is VERY upsetting because I have already tore apart my bed and took time off from work for this. I no longer have a bed frame and only the mattress to sleep on. I needed the tech to come out ASAP to put the adjustable frame in but they don't anything available for another 3 weeks?! I found this to be UNACCEPTABLE because I have spent so much time and energy to prepare and taken time off work and I was not able to do that again.

    Customer service rep then put me on hold for HOURS! And started transferring me from one person to another (you can ask the tech guy about this because they were there with me through the entire ordeal). Finally after 2 hours of being put on hold they came back and said the best they can do is have someone back out in 1 week. AGAIN, I found this to be unacceptable because the fact of the matter was that it was YOUR customer service people that messed up the appointment so they should have done everything they can to accommodate me sooner than 1 week, and I also believe that being put on hold for over 2 hrs is also VERY unacceptable. In the end I request for a refund and have the mattress returned. They reluctantly obliged after putting me on hold AGAIN for another 15-20 minutes and process my return.

    The return pick up was for today, Thursday Nov. 21, customer service call me yesterday to confirm and said someone can come out around 10 AM, which I can't accept because I am not willing to take another day off of work. I have told the customer service this but yet they went ahead and schedule it anyway? I just NOW gotten a call from the tech saying they're on the way to "deliver" my bed. I said what do you mean "deliver"? This was supposed to be a pick up, AND I have already told customer service that I can not do 10 am because I will not be home till AFTER 4 PM! He ask to put me on hold so he can check his phone and I got hung up on. At this moment I still have NO idea when the bed will be picked up and I'm just worried that it'll affect my return because I just got my statement in the mail and I DO NOT want to have to pay for something that I already return but the company did not pick up.

    30 years of sleeping on a crappy bed made us decide to get a Sleep Number. They had a good reputation and a long-time friend of my wife became the manager in one of the stores. She started working for Sleep Number a few years ago and she was very knowledgeable about the product. She answered all of our questions and was very professional, even though we were friends. She has also purchased the products herself and she and her husband had been using it. She stood by everything she told us and she proved it to be right.

    We made the purchase on Labor Day two years ago and we had the bed delivered. My wife and I were both working but they said they would be there around 10:00 AM so I swung by the house a little before 10:00 and they were already there setting the bed up. There were two gentlemen and one of them stepped aside and went through the brochure and the instructions with me. He also showed me how to use the remote. They knew the products very well and definitely seemed like they knew what they were doing.

    The bed made an entire world of difference. I have misaligned vertebrae in my neck and the bed itself has actually helped with that. I use a different type of pillow to help with it as well but ever since we've had the bed, my neck problems have only flared up twice. Whereas before Sleep Number, it would happen monthly. It's been fantastic.

    I would never had believed customer service could be so atrocious if my husband & I hadn't experienced this nightmare. Husband & I ordered a SC bed on July 8. We ordered the custom platform bed to go with the mattress. We were told it would be delivered on August 11. Got a call 2 days before w/ an estimated time frame for delivery. Was called that morning & was told all parts weren't in & they'd call in 24-48 hrs to reschedule. Never called. We called them. The soonest available date for delivery would be September 9.

    Again was called 2 days before for confirmation. This time they had to cancel because of weather. They'd call to reschedule. They never called. I've done the chat thing online. It's a joke. We called customer service & got "cut off". I emailed SC only to be told they don't respond to email. So-called managers won't return calls. This is the worst customer service experience we've ever had. I don't want anything else to do with this company EVER!

    We had a pillow top mattress before and it was not working for us. So we went to a Sleep Number store in Virginia and found a bed that felt so nice. My husband likes his bed harder than mine and the one we found can adjust to our preference. But we didn’t have the money at that time so we waited. When we moved to Pennsylvania, we went to another Sleep Number store and the experience was not great. We waited for 20 minutes, and nobody talked to us. So we just decided to go online and bought the bed from there. The delivery team was professional. They delivered our purchase on time. They explained everything and left our place clean. Overall, we had a really good experience with Sleep Number. We bought our bed two years ago and we’re still happy with it. I told everybody they have to get it.

    A year ago, we purchased a Sleep Number bed due to my husband’s back. We also bought the sheets because the top is separate and the bottom is together. The bed is very expensive, so for my husband to make this purchase, the sales guy must have done a decent job of convincing him that this was a great way to go. Their delivery team was lovely and very nice as well. They blew it up and did everything that they needed to do. The sheets have ripped, but my husband contacted the store, and they sent us new ones, and we sent the ripped ones back. I was a little disappointed that the sheets are ridiculously expensive but they’re already ripped. However, they took care of it and as long as they continue to do that, then okay. My husband has recommended the bed to several people.

    We try the bed on all different settings without any luck. The quality is just not there to make the mattress comfortable. We passed it on to my son and his wife, they used for a few months and decide to buy something else. We give it to my daughter and she is not happy either, is looking to buy a different mattress. I feel that your air system is not well develop yet. I am ending up with a very expensive mattress that no one wants to use.

    We had our first Sleep Number bed for 20 years. We recently got a base model and the sales reps showed me everything. They were very patient and they let me decide what I wanted. They ordered it for me. I love the quality of my Sleep Number bed. My experience with Sleep Number was excellent however, my son also has one and he had the mold issue. He had awful allergies and unbeknownst to me, he was breathing in this mold all the time. But Sleep Number replaced it. They’ve fixed that because he hasn’t had that problem again.

    My husband wanted a Sleep Number bed and we bought a mattress and the base more than a year ago. The bed's good but recently, we noticed that in the middle of the night, it changes the sleep number that it’s at. And then, I always have to press my sleep number twice. If I press it once, it will say that it will go to my sleep number which is 35, but if I leave the remote and then try it again, it doesn't go to 35. So when I click my sleep number again, and then it drops down, it's like all the air didn’t come out. Other than that, my experience with Sleep Number was great and their people are really friendly.

    I have two Sleep Numbers in my house now. Several years ago I purchased one because I already owned another one. I bought just the mattress because I learned that I don’t need the base. In terms of overall quality, it’s awesome. I can adjust it to my comfort level. I have to constantly check the pressure because the barometric pressure changes on the bed. If I have a storm, I know I have to check the pressure on my bed.

    When I first bought it, I didn't understand it so I don't know why my bed wasn't right. I know that now and I'll accept that inconvenience because I sleep so well on the bed. But it should be explained when people purchase the bed. They might not buy it because of it. Someone who is not as intelligent as I am might not be able to figure out that they should check their bed, and check if they have a leak. Somebody should physically tell people because people don't read the literature. But I recommend Sleep Number to people anytime I have an opportunity.

    We've had a Sleep Number before. We purchased a queen size and then a split king from them, and the most recent one we purchased was for my parents. Their sales reps were very good but the first one I dealt with in Lancaster was excellent. I met her at a farm show to get a discount on the bed and she took me the booth. She had excellent suggestions, like instead of buying a king-sized bed for my parents, I should consider buying a twin bed and putting them together. She had a lot of insights and understanding about the bed and what our needs were. We had a home delivery and it was very fast but they were careless. They were sliding things in and they hit my dryer behind the door. They banged it and set it off a bit. They rushed but they did okay and were very polite. The quality of both beds has been very well and I would buy a second Sleep Number bed if I have to replace again.

    I initially bought a bed from Sleep Number since I was looking for improvement on my lower back pain and need constant sleep through the night. The sales reps are all good in general, though I've had some issues. They're slow and methodical, and they're a bit on the arrogant side. I don't see them as a progressive company. When you buy an accessory, it takes 10 days to get it. I just bought a cool foam layer cushion and some pillows and it's ridiculous. I should get those in three days, four days tops. It takes them three times as long to get out the door, and I don't like that about them.

    The stores aren't very consumer-friendly either. We had an issue with a pillow which is 120 bucks a piece. We went in the store and the rep says, "You need a number four based on the way your head lays on the bed." We said, "We would like our pillows hard. We want a number five." After three days of the number five, your head sinks back down to the mattress again. However, if I tried to switch it, they can't make a simple transaction to try to keep me from going to Tempur-Pedic or one of their competitors.

    Even so, there's a lot about Sleep Number's products that I like. We've got four queen beds and a bunch of other stuff, and I'm not going to quit buying from them. But like everything else, I want them to get better and I hope that they meet certain expectations out there. If we're going to pay as much as we pay for their products, they aren't backing it up as well as I would like to see. I don't mind paying more, I'd just like for them to be able to perform a little bit better on the service side than they're doing.

    I liked having the ability to control the firmness of the Sleep Number bed. However, it is very hot. We had a Tempur-Pedic before this, and that was our number one complaint. When we were at Sleep Number, the rep told us, "Oh no, that won't happen with this." But in the summer, we just kind of crawled out of the bed. But though the bed is not perfect, it's good.

    We talked to a couple of friends of ours and they had a good experience with Sleep Number. However, when we bought it we were dissatisfied with it and we had to take it back after we had it for about four months. The comfort was not like when we tried it out at the store and it was like a different bed. But we could only return the mattress and not the mechanism. It wasn't in the contract and we didn't notice that when we signed it, but when we looked at the fine print it was in there. We could not return the mechanism. Also, the delivery team seemed to be in a rush to set everything up.

    My wife has a bad back and she has been having trouble sleeping. We bought a Sleep Number bed and she's been sleeping better. I like the nightlight feature because when the lights would be out, I can find my way without stepping a toe. And I had a torn rotator cuff and I had surgery. And after that, I had to sleep in a sitting position so I did that in bed and that worked out pretty good. Our Sleep Number bed is holding up well.     I purchased a Sleep Number bed because it sounded good and a friend has one. The sales reps at Sleep Number were courteous. The delivery team dropped the bed at my door and we put it together. The product is okay but if I had an option to redo it, I would because I don’t like it that much.     After spending thousands and thousands of dollars, I thought had some peace of mind knowing that there was a 25 year warranty and I was buying real quality. WRONG! ALL WRONG!!! The zipper broke on my mattress. Poor quality components and piss poor design require the entire slip to be replaced if the zipper goes bad. So after being a raving fan and telling everyone I know to get one of these mattresses for the last 7 years, I'm now embarrassed that several family and friends did. This is not a quality brand or company and clearly doesn't back their product like they lead you to believe.

    After talking with 3 levels of supervisors at this Sleep Number they are firm about charging me over 400 dollars to replace this zipper and I have had the Mattress only 7 years. Any reasonable person would not pay 400 dollars to replace a zipper. I want to make sure that no one makes the same mistake I did. Stay away from Sleep Number!

    I purchased a P5 mattress from a rep who dropped me and never even followed up with me. The product mattress arrived defective. It has a defective valve, the air cannot deflate, and a 45 sleep number feels the same as a 75. So that is just a catchy marketing phrase which means nothing. The customer service is bad, I've already had 2 reschedules for the pick-up of this mattress.

    I spoke to a supervisor last week, who said they would pick-up prior to the 30 days, at no charge for the pick-up because the salesperson dropped me like a hot potato, and with so much lack of communication. The dates keep shifting in terms of pick-up, meanwhile they expect you to pay for the financing credit. I knew on day 1 the product was not good, it was cutting off my circulation. Be careful, and understand what you're buying here. This is an "air" mattress. You can do better elsewhere, and avoid the hassle and/or nightmare.

    Sleep Number was recommended to me by a friend who had one and really liked it. I wanted to try something different because I have bad joints and bad hips so it seemed like Sleep Number was a good idea.     We bought a special edition Sleep Number cot bed. It was a queen type, the head and legs move up and down, and it has the massage in it. However, we think that we paid more than what we should have. We paid around five grand, and the bed's about two grand too much. It's definitely not what's in the showroom. Also, we have some issues because it's kind of high up in the air. It was made more than what I had in the showroom.

    I went to the showroom and talked to them about it, and they had zero idea why. So I took pictures in the store and compared it to our bed. When you look at the store bed, they're pretty much low to the ground like a normal bed. Ours is about two feet up. They called the guys who put it in, and they didn't seem they were all that interested in coming down and remedy it at that time. And then the vibration thing has all the difference. But the rest of the bed is fine. Its head, back, and all the different levels are the same. The bed is comfortable and it is nice. It also seems to hold the pressure that keeps our number pretty stable.

    It has long been a dream of my wife and I to own a Sleep Number bed. When we recently purchased our first home, we also purchased the i10 360 for that house before we even moved in. The i10 is not a cheap bed, but we thought it would be worth it for the type of sleep that Sleep Number promises. Unfortunately, that hasn't been the case.

    Sleep Number's sales department and personnel are incredible, but that's where the pleasant ride ends. Ever since the purchase, it has been an incredible painful process which is still ongoing. To date: September - Purchased an i10 bed to be delivered in August. Sales staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, and made the purchase happen based on their knowledge and advice. We were assured of a few things at the time of purchase, to include the return policy and the fact there was no restocking fee. This is important later on, in case you haven't guessed. August - Delivery day arrives and we run into our first problems. The delivery was supposed to happen between 2 and 4pm, but by 5:30 I had already received two calls to say they were running late. No big deal, as they assured me they would arrive by 6pm. Instead, it was closer to 7pm when finally showed up.

    As soon as they arrived, they walked into the house and simply said, "Nope, we can't deliver the bed here. It's not going to happen." Hmm, okay. Asking them why, they said it was because we had opted for the adjustable frame, but it couldn't make it up a tight turn on the stairs to the master bedroom. This kind of stuff happens and I wouldn't be complaining, except for the fact that the Sleep Number movers/installers were incredibly unhelpful and I felt by the end of it that I was begging them to simply do their job.

    They simply weren't interested in delivering the bed and I got the impression they just wanted to get out of there because it was late. Every potential fix I suggested was simply met with a "That won't work" or "It's not possible". Finally, they left without delivering the bed. Again... this kind of stuff happens. What soured the entire deal was their attitude about delivering a bed that costs the same as a used car. I called up Sleep Number again and we ended up getting a normal frame for the bed. Unfortunately, we were going to have to wait another two weeks for the bed to be delivered.

    Late August, round two - Bed delivery day arrives again and a different team shows up on time (an improvement). Nice guys, very professional, and had the bed set up quickly. One guy was obviously new, but the other guy walked him through it and the bed looked like it was set up correctly. Again, this part is important. September - Two weeks later and my wife and I still cannot get a good night's sleep on this bed. I can only imagine we either got a defective unit, or the bed was set up improperly. It looks and feels nothing like the floor model at the store.

    Within two nights there was a distinct curve in the bed so it's shaped like a banana. See the attached pictures and note the pillow angles. The sides of the bed are at least five to six inches above the middle, causing you to roll towards the middle of the bed in the middle of the night. There is a ditch in the middle between the two air chambers which is noticeable. If you fall into this ditch, you are stuck there until you wake up and climb back up your side of the mountain. We specifically asked about this when we purchased the bed and was assured there was no ditch in the middle of the bed. There isn't one on the floor model; so who knows. The fun doesn't stop there, however.

    My wife's side of the bed is different than my side. She can set her side for a setting of "30" and it's still as hard as a rock. Even at zero it's about at a 50 on my side. We thought perhaps we just needed to reset the chambers by bringing them up to 100 on both sides with nobody on the bed, but that does nothing to solve this issue. In addition, she is also about three inches higher than I am on her side of the bed. When laying down, I'm looking up at her across the no-man's land of the ditch between the air chambers. When the "responsive" bed inflates her side during the night, there is a noticeable hum and shaking of the bed that happens. Doesn't happen on my side, so definitely something defective here.

    All in all, it's a nightmare. We have not had one good night of sleep on this bed since it was delivered, no matter that SleepIQ tells me "You slept for 10 hours straight and it was restful the entire time!" It obviously missed me and my wife waking up every half hour to climb back up the mountain and turn over. We both have back and shoulder pain now, and we're yawning before we even get out of bed because we're utterly exhausted.

    Yesterday I went to the Sleep Number store because I was planning on returning the bed, but I love the sales folks and wanted to see if they could suggest a fix. Unfortunately, while they did offer some suggestions, they couldn't do anything other than acknowledge there was definitely a problem. I called today and let customer service know of my wish to return the bed. I simply don't trust Sleep Number to make it right after the constant failures in the past, and I'm definitely not waiting for another few weeks for them to come look at it again.

    This is when customer service informed me of a $179 "service fee" to take the bed back. When I pointed out that we were assured there was no restocking fee, the customer service rep said, "Oh it's not a restocking fee. It's a service fee!" Call it what you want, but if you're taking the bed back and charging me to do it, that's a restocking fee, and something they assured me wasn't going to happen. This is a fitting end to my relationship with Sleep Number, which has been nothing but a disappointment aside from the sales team.

    They're going to pick up the bed in another 9 days for that low fee of $179; so there's no guarantee that this sorry tale won't get worse, but I'm desperately hoping for the best. In the meantime, I have a useless $5,000 bed (we'll be sleeping on the guest bed for the next 9 days), and another $200 in Sleep Number sheets and a mattress cover that I hope we can recycle on a mattress that won't give us chronic pain.

    My advice to Sleep Number: Spend the time and money training the rest of your personnel to the same caliber as your Sales staff. It will definitely help you keep customers and avoid a walking Anti-Sleep Number disciple. To everyone else: For the kind of money they ask for this mattress, I expect a certain level of quality and service and you should, too. Be warned!

    I have had my Sleep Number for 8 years now. For the last 5 years my wife and I have been sinking in the middle of the bed. We have been into stores numerous times just to be handed and number to call for customer service and then they always proceed to try and sell us another bed. We call customer service just to be hung up on or told it is going to cost us lots of money to replace their faulty parts that they have since changed because they know it's a problem. We bought a mattress topper and that seem to help for a while but now we are back to sinking in the middle and their foam is falling apart. I am extremely disappointed in not only the product but the way they have shoved us off to the side every time we try and figure out a way to solve our discomfort in their product. Don't be fooled by their 25-year warranty either. It's really 2 years then after that be prepared to spend a lot more of your money.

    This has been the worst experience in my LIFE!!! I'm a previous Sleep Number customer, we decided to replace our current Sleep Number bed of 9 years with a new model i10. I read a lot of review, however did not find any on this model??? Well our bed was delivered on 9/6, slept on it for 2 of the most uncomfortable nights ever!!! HATE this bed. Went to the store in Moreno Valley to research other beds for an exchange. Was told to call customer service. Well my experience went from bad to Worst!!! Sleep Number your Customer service is awful!!! It took 2 hours & 2 Superiors to complete an exchange. Also Buyer BEWARE, Adjustable Bases are not returnable even if you hate your mattress & the replacement Mattress does not attach to the Base you purchased. No 100 night guarantee, actually No guarantee!!! I had to fight for 2 hours to get a return of this item!!!

    Over the past 9 years I've recommended Sleep Number to everyone, family, friends, etc.! I loved our bed. i10 Not so much!!! Now I'm so unhappy with Sleep Number I will never recommend them again!!! The Sleep Number i10 is a flawed design. The side of the mattress has no support, if you sleep near the edge of the mattress you could fall out of bed!!! Dangerous!!! Or if you need to sit up on the edge before standing up to get out of bed you could fall. The flexible fabric & foam combination do not give any support to the side walls of this mattress. My Husband & I were both very uncomfortable trying to sleep on this mattress, could not find a sleep number that was comfortable!!!

    This bed also has a feature of a light under the bed as a night light. Well it did not work correctly. Every time I moved in bed it would come on!!! Had to get out of bed, find my phone to shut it off. Could not be shut off from the remote. I do not sleep with my phone!!! That is a poor design. Overall, the worst bed! I hope our exchange goes better, if not another review will be coming your way!!! I have to wait another 2 weeks for a replacement and pay for shipping & set up again!!! Not good service!!! Also with as many beds as this company must sell, they have very few reviews??? HUMMM??? Not a good sign!!!

    I was a big fan of Sleep Number for many years. I had several family members and friends that purchased as well. All's good... until you need support. My bed failed at about 8 years. Customer service is pretty bad in troubleshooting anything other than very simple issues. Further, it is then that you find out that the warranty you bought with this premium bed is pretty much useless. Parts are VERY expensive... and even with the grossly pro-rated warranty... you pretty much still end up paying double or triple what the part should cost. Your warranty is a big money maker for Sleep Number... and not really insurance for you. I WILL NOT EVER BUY OR RECOMMEND SLEEP NUMBER AGAIN. There are several competitors that offer products that are as good or better, and cost much less, and have better "test" periods. I am throwing my VERY expensive Sleep Number in the trash after 8 years... and buying something else.

    I ordered a mattress online and had it delivered. I like it, but between the two Sleep Number beds that I have, Sleep Number doesn't seem to be consistent. I got exactly the same beds in two different locations. I did that so that when I went from one place to another, I'd get in bed and it would feel the same. However, even when the pressures are the same, they don't feel the same. I generally sleep at a 50, and it's not the same 50 between the two same beds. When I'm sleeping on my bed in Indiana my back doesn't hurt, but when I sleep on my bed in Florida, my back hurts. Nevertheless, it was an easy process with Sleep Number and the product is good. I'm satisfied with it. I'd recommend Sleep Number.

The sales rep at Sleep Number was very knowledgeable about the product. The delivery team arrived when they said they would. They were very prompt and knew exactly what they were doing. They also went through all the instructions for the bed and the procedures for moving it. They did a great job and we've been very satisfied with Sleep Number.

    We purchased a Sleep Number because of body pains. We got the mattress, base, pillows and the bedding. The sales professionals at Sleep Number were awesome. They welcomed us and answered questions. The stores were nice, clean and stocked on common things that we would want. The delivery was good and it came on time. The people who made the delivery were very professional. They came in, got it down and set it up. They also showed us how to use it. There were also different options on the bed that we had and they set those up as well. I know family members that had a Sleep Number and swear by them. My husband says there is a 100% difference since using the Sleep Number. I, on the other hand, is not a 100%. But my husband thinks it's the greatest thing since sliced bread.

    We purchased our bed from the store in West Chester, OH. Great service and very knowledgeable salesperson. Our bed was scheduled to be delivered on 9/5. We received multiple emails indicating the date and that we would receive a text letting us know the range of time for delivery. The text never came and, on the day of delivery, I had to call to inquire when we would receive the bed. We were slated from 5 to 8pm, which I feel is rather inconvenient - especially when we didn't know when we would receive the bed. This was a lost day.

    Things escalated when at 7:30pm on that day, I received an email informing us that the bed would be delivered on 9/8. I called to inquire why and talked to a supervisor. This individual was nice but couldn't do much for us. I asked to be first in their delivery schedule and was told they couldn't control that. I was also told by this supervisor that he would personally call me to tell me the time of delivery. I never got that call. Thankfully our salesperson was involved and he discovered that we would receive our bed between 2 and 5 on 9/8. This meant only our afternoon would be wasted while we waited for the bed. My husband adjusted his schedule and lost his afternoon work to wait.

    On 9/8, at around 11:30 am I received an email letting me know that my bed was scheduled for delivery on 9/30 and then another email letting me know the bed was ordered. This is the straw that broke the camel's back. My husband tried to deal with Customer Service who didn't have a good reason (other than some excuse that the order was misplaced). He also talked to our sales person who directed him to call Customer Service and talk to them because they need to hear from the customer. Unacceptable!

    I can't understand how a company like this doesn't empower their front line to deal with these issues. Customer don't have time to wait and make multiple calls for expensive items that have been fully paid. Our salesperson did email us and let us know he sent an email to Customer Service. However, I am still doubtful as to how much that will help. I need to get a phone call from your company with specifics about our order and where the ball was dropped. I expect to have a conversation with an empowered individual who can explain what happened and make us whole. Right now, my confidence level with your company and the product we purchased is very low.

    We went into the Sleep Number store on August 26, 2017. We purchased a P5 and wrote a check for it. Delivery was scheduled for 9/1. When the truck arrived it was discovered that one of our boxes was full of old returned product. Our drivers packed it all up and left. We were rescheduled for today (9/8). I just got a message saying that due to "missing product" we wouldn't be getting our delivery today (no problem. I like to keep taking time off work to accommodate your delivery time-NOT!). Now my next scheduled delivery is 9/14! Seriously? Hello we got rid of our old mattress to be ready for the new one... but again "no problem". Getting NO satisfaction from customer service. At this point we're pretty pissed but stuck because we want the bed. So my two cents' worth is their customer service has proved to be a joke. Can't comment on the bed yet since we still don't have it.

    Before getting a Sleep Number bed I tossed and turned all night. Now I get a full night's sleep. I love how I can adjust the number based on how my body is feeling. The staff in the store were not high pressured and gave me all the time I needed to decide which bed to purchase.

    Bed delivered late, nine in the evening. Remote for bed did not work. Given remote for a different bed. Told the correct one would be sent. Never received. Called customer service and told the correct one would be sent. Four weeks later still have not received. About the same care you get when customer service is located and performed in a foreign country like India or the Philippines. Spent a lot of money and no customer care.

    We bought a Sleep Number P5 bed in February 2016 with an adjustable base, a cost of $4000. At approximately 6 months later, I contacted customer service. I was unhappy with comfort. They sent a new, thicker mattress topper, at no cost. I was very pleased with the customer service. However, I am still not happy with the comfort of my Sleep Number bed. Buyer beware, this bed is not comfortable even when adjusting the number.

    I used to sleep on water and my back was giving me a little problem. The people who were treating my back problems told me that water was the worst thing I could do for my back because of the way it works, so I made the decision to purchase a Sleep Number bed. Dealing with the company’s reps was either a hit or a miss. Sometimes, they were friendly and helpful and they knew what they're talking about. In other times though, we had people who didn’t seem to have a clue and that could be very frustrating. This certainly was a place to look at to help them improve the customer experience.

    We had the beds delivered by a courier and I put them together. The instructions were pretty straightforward. The bed gave me and my wife the ability to sleep at different comfort levels. But one thing we noticed was when we're making the bed, the cover of the foundation always seemed to keep slipping up. It should be longer and should have a spring to tie it on and keep it in place. The other thing was we've had to replace the side foam in the mattress twice already. When we’re shopping for our third bed, we mentioned this problem. The salesman said, "Oh that's covered by warranty." They got us a new side foam for the second bed. And when we’re also having the same problem with the third bed, the salesman said that they can replace the side rails, so we ended up with one set of side rail. Sleep Number is a good product and I recommend it to people, but I still think there are ways that it could be improved.

    Ordered a mattress, got delivered to our house, workers decided to dispose of my and I's old mattress that was (worth over 3 grand) without either of ours consent. Then after calling and complaining to their customer service representatives and getting the response as to there is nothing that can be done. They had already disposed of the mattress. This is not right. We didn't agree to this in writing or verbally. This is absolutely ludicrous!!!
