Let me make this very clear, I've had at least one mattress to die for, so I know what a good mattress is. However, I purchased a Sleep Number bed for our new bed because the advertising had me convinced I would get the best sleep ever. The advertising is wrong. Neither my husband or I could find our Sleep Number to this day after 3 years. I wanted so much to send it back before the trial ended, but my husband didn't want to offend the salesperson who was also a friend. I tried a bunkie board, mattress accessories for extra comfort as well as many phone calls to customer service with no relief. I have had the worse back pain ever since. I just can't take it anymore and feel I was manipulatively deceived by the advertising and I'm ready to take it to the dump. I believe my husband was right when he called it a glorified air mattress.

We were in the market for a new mattress. We went into Consumer Reports and we saw that the Sleep Number mattress had good reviews and so we purchased it. We also bought pillows and a mattress cover which needed to be replaced because we didn't follow directions so it shrunk. The people at Sleep Number were knowledgeable. They were nice and answered questions. The delivery people came, set the mattress up and it was fine. They were very quick, thorough and did their job. We've had these products over a year now and the quality is good.
However, we were a little disappointed in one regard. There was this time when my partner found that he was rolling toward the middle of the bed and so we called with the problem. They sent us a wedge to put beneath his side and I asked if we're going to need one on my side too because his side would be higher. They said that is not going to happen but it did. So, they sent one wedge for my side of the bed as well. It did prevent the rolling but it was disappointing that we needed to put those and that we had to go through two calls before we finally got both sides evened out. Other than that, it was a satisfactory performance with the products.

We recently bought the Sleep Number i8. We went with a home delivery for the mattress and everything was fine. We've had Sleep Numbers for 15 years and we love them. When we go out of town, we can't wait to get back home. We can't sleep on any other beds and we'll always have one. We've given one to our daughter and we have one in the front room. We always recommend Sleep Number.

We love these beds. Started in 2002 with a 5000 Select Comfort Eastern King. When we moved in 2007, we put the 5000 in our guest room, and upgraded to the 9000. Spending time with our children for a week at a time, couldn't take their "extra worn out" beds, so purchased beds for visiting. When we aren't visiting, the kids moved the beds into their bedrooms! One of our sons purchased the new Sleep IQ. We also purchased a twin and had a Murphy bed made to fit! We're a Sleep Number family!
One thing which has always surprised me is the warranty on these beds. They are always ready to help in the service department. If something needs replacing, they take care of it at no cost or at a very reduced price with the upgraded part. We thank Select Comfort for offering a wonderful product, standing behind it (which is amazing!) and the great prices for the beds and replacement parts!

If you're looking to buy a Sleep Number be prepared for them to give you every excuse as to why they cannot keep their scheduled delivery date. It happened to me and my now 10-weeks pregnant wife 3 times. That's 3 times I moved our King size memory foam mattress to the hallway to make it easier on them, only to have to move it back. Every time I called there was a different excuse. Always their fault of course, but no offer to help in any way, shape or form. This is not customer service. In no way did they help us.
All the while my wife is uncomfortable to the point we have to cancel the order. Had we ordered from a reputable business I would have had one the day after buying it. So then I try to let others on their site know about our experience hoping the company would want full transparency, but they delete my fact based comments and hide behind Facebook. So off to Furniture Row (a reputable company) to buy a bed and have them deliver it tomorrow. I am sure Sleep Number beds are comfortable, but is it really worth the extra 1000.00 dollars and dealing with poor customer service. If they can't even deliver a bed to me, a new customer, what happens when you need service? Does it take a month? Will they keep cancelling?

We used to recommend this to many people but after our last experience we will never do that again. The company is quick to take your money but doesn't care if they ship your bed. I called the local store and the girl I spoke to was checking and then asked she could put me hold. I said sure - guess what - she forgot to push the hold button so I could hear the conversation she had with the manager. If you put someone on hold be sure you push the button. Now I am really angry. I called the company directly - got the normal runaround. Customer service is terrible. We have had 4 of these beds - paid for 3 and one came in an RV that we had. This is the last bed I will ever purchase from this company. Purchased in Illinois.
Updated on 06/08/2017: Lied to us about everything. Gave us the runaround about our order. Finally found out from our salesperson the foam for the bed is backordered and don't know when it will be in. It has been 15 days and I have check many times and been given nothing but lies. Shame on all of you.

Love the bed. Mine is about 9 years old now. King size. Still awesome but the remote stopped working. Going thru hell trying to get a replacement. I don't need a whole new pump. You guys really need to come out with a universal remote that would work for all wireless models. This is just crazy. I can't adjust the bed without it.

I had a very old mattress that was hurting my back and I originally went into the Sleep Number store to actually get my mom a mattress but she didn’t like the one that I was trying to get her so I got one instead. When I bought the mattress, the sale rep helped me and my mom decide. I got a C2 mattress and the box spring that came with it and then I later got some sheets and pillows. When it was delivered, the boxes were easy enough to carry to my room and it’s easy to set up. The pillows support my head more and the sheets are nice and soft. It's the best night’s sleep I got in a long time.

We've had Sleep Number for fifteen years and this is the second one we bought. Everything was fine with the sales reps and we got the California king-sized bed. The delivery team did fine too. They brought the bed in and set it up. I've had several back operations and the bed works really well for me. We're satisfied with everything they've done with the products and we've recommended it to lots of people.

Total Protection Mattress Pad - The person who uses this bed accidentally wet the bed in his sleep. All the moisture seeped through to the mattress. Because the problem was taken care of promptly, there was no stain to the mattress. The warranty only covers stains to the mattress. THIS PRODUCT IS NOT WATERPROOF and should not be sold as such. This is fraudulent labeling.

Beware all women. Went into the store and purchase a bed. Have yet to be contacted by the salesperson so I can choose my delivery. When I received email I notice it is in my husband's name. Financing is in my name. I used my debit card to pay the rest of the bed but the bed is in his name. I call customer support and they said there's nothing they can do about this. Why? I thought this was a progress company. Did not realize only a man is allowed to OWN things.

We have a Sleep Number that was about 17 years old and we're replacing it so we bought another one from them. We upgraded and got the frame so that the head and the feet could lift. We also purchased a mattress, sheets, and pillows. The sales reps were very responsive and the delivery team was great. The cost is exorbitant but the quality is great. I like the snore position where the head is elevated just a little bit. I can get loud sometimes so my husband raises me. Occasionally, I'll elevate the lower part of the bed just a little. I love those features.

I was looking to have a better sleep so I bought a Sleep Number Mattress and I've had it for 11 months now. Their sales rep was very personable. We spoke to her a year before and then when we found the mattress, we went back and bought it. The delivery team was good and I have no complaints. The quality of the product was great, the craftsmanship is top notch and their warranty time can't be beaten. I did recommend them to my in-laws and they bought one. It's incredible and outstanding.

I made my purchase about 10 years ago under a different name and different address. However the bed is still the best investment I have ever made. I will never go back to a plain mattress. Best nights sleep ever. This is a great bed for people suffering from body aches or Fibromyalgia like myself.

My 87 year old dad, a veteran and extreme arthritis sufferer purchased a Sleep Number bed that has not worked since they delivered it. He wanted my mom who died from Alzheimer's a year ago to have the most comfortable resting spot since she was bedridden. The store salesperson on Federal Highway in Fort Lauderdale did a bait and switch with what he laid on a perfect hard side for himself and has a bed Tharp. Had to have service reps come and look at with ridiculous options and a pixie of foam a supervisor sent to him which made him roll to the middle of the bed.
He is now sleeping in an old bed in the house and has not been able to get any assistance from customer service for over 2 years now. He now has contacted 2 news outlets to help him. He paid 3800.00 for a bed he cannot use. Craftmatic offered to give him a split queen bed for no extra charge and 1000.00 less but my sister assured my dad he would be happier with Sleep Number. This is very upsetting watching him suffer the last 2 years

Ian our sales person/manager was extremely helpful, professional, and courteous. He took the time to answer all our questions and explain the different products and make recommendations based on our needs and wants. He is an attribute to your company. The only complaint I have, is having to wait a week and a half to have my bed delivered.

My husband has back problems so I bought a bed from Sleep Number. The sales professionals in the store were great but it's very hard to get somebody on the phone at customer service. After you buy something, that’s not the salespeople's problem anymore. But the delivery team was great. They only brought one remote though and I informed them that we were told it'd have two. The guy had one in his truck and gave it to me. However, I came back and bought a subsequent mattress pad because the bed sleeps hot. And I can't seem to get it cooled off unless I spend another $500 buying a cooling gel pad. We've really considered selling it because of that reason. My experience with them started off great but it hasn’t ended up very well. It went downhill after the fail.

I purchased an i10 which I have been sleeping on since May 2. I think it’s a very comfortable bed however, sleep’s too hot for me. After talking to online customer service have decided to exchange for a p6. Hoping it works out better. So far customer service is good. Does cost 179.99 to return.

When our bed was delivered we were told that moving service (free breakdown and set up) was included with the price. When it came time to move, we were informed that was not true. The company did nothing to resolve this situation. I was also told that new remotes that were up to date would be sent shortly and this was relayed as wrong information as well. For 8000$ we received an airbed with foam bumpers and a cloth casing. Oh and a wonderful adjustable base (the only saving grace however forgo the massage feature because it is so loud that any chance at relaxing is nil). This is the worst purchase we ever made and wish I would've corrected it within the time however with being out of the country more than in I missed the cut off date. Oh well, I just hope this helps others make a better decision.

My wife likes the bed a little bit softer and I like it a little bit harder. Sleep Number was the only product in the market that could do what we wanted. I visited the store at Garden State plaza in Paramus, New Jersey. They walked me through pretty much from the low-end bed to the high-end bed and everything in between. They were great, very knowledgeable, and they were a great help. Then, we had home delivery and the team was good. They forgot a piece and it was like the computer itself. They had to come back the next day and deliver it, which they did so it wasn’t that big of a deal. The bed is great and we love it.

I replaced my mattress cover in November due to a problem with the original cover, only to realize that they don't fully cover the part but charged me 40% to replace it which I did and less than 6 months later this new mattress cover has a lump in it right in the middle where I sleep. I called the company and they said it was bunching and bunching isn't covered but they would be happy to sell me another cover for 50% off. Seems kind of silly to have to pay for a 3rd cover for a bed less than 6 years old and for a cover less than 6 months old. Letting a simple replacement of the cover separate a satisfied customer from your company is SAD. I will purchase a new bed from another company before I pay for a 3rd cover.

We had a fantastic experience with Sleep Number. My wife needed a soft bed while I needed a firm bed since my back has been killing me after 10 years. I decided to look at Sleep Number, went to the store and made the purchase. I've been sleeping much better now and the bed is doing a great job. Steve, the manager who helped me, has been fantastic during the purchase and we've written letters about him just because he's been great. I also called the company and said thank you. We referred 9-10 people since and he helped all my friends. We'll probably even get a free bed on the next one we refer.

My Sleep Number Associate set my sleep number at 45 while laying on my back. She did not recalculate when I indicated I slept on my side nor when I eventually purchased a twin size and not a larger mattress. In the past several months have tried all the settings from 30 to 95, and have yet to sleep through the night and awaken without pain in my hips. I am currently sleeping at 90 because that's the closest I can get to a level spine. Apparently the twin size I purchased is not baffled to level out the support. After spending all that money (about $3K!) for an AIR MATTRESS that sags in the middle both from the sides and from head to toe, I can't wait till I get it paid off so I can get rid of it.

My experience was great. I would only like to have the products like sheets made to be less expensive. I love the bed. I would like that the queen bed would be able to have each side raise and lower on its own. Not just the king.

I purchased my Select Comfort Ultra in 1998 for around $2,000, an investment in our health. 2017 arrives, and our pump failed when we moved to new house. It was no longer under warranty, so I purchased new one. Hey, I got 19 years out of it, right? But I mentioned some discoloration of the topper foam, and they immediately connected to their allergen department. They explained the discoloration, and immediately offered to replace basically every internal component of our mattress free of charge. Wow! I basically got a new mattress for a fraction of the cost and we are good to go for another couple decades! Very pleased to deal with a company that deals with adversity by taking care of the customer and backing their product all the way just like they promised 18 years ago. I am a customer for life and will continue to recommend Select Comfort products to my family and friends.

We received great customer service when we purchased our very first Sleep Number bed. We've enjoyed the bed so far. The only complaint we have is that we wish the bed came with 2 remotes instead of one. The mobile app is ok but 2 remotes would be better.

I've had the Sleep Number bed for about three years. The doctor recommended for the adjustable bed. I have to have my head higher. My girlfriend and I bought it in Lafayette and I bought the frame in Merrillville. Everybody has been very helpful everywhere I bought. She had a frame and an old bed and I needed a new frame. So, she got the mattress and I took the frame. It was cheaper that's why we did it that way. The delivery team came in, they set it up and they put the mattress on. Everything went smoothly. I'm very happy with the product. I've recommended it to several people. Sleep Number has been very easy to deal with and very helpful with the product.

After years on a Sleep Number Bed (equivalent to the current P5), we found mold when preparing for a move. Went in and ordered a new bed and was very happy with the in store service. After that it was all downhill. This was a multi-thousand dollar CASH purchase, and it wasn't until we cancelled the order that they even made an offer to comp the delivery charge. AND we have sheets and other bedding that can't be returned and won't fit the new bed we are getting from another company (at about 1/3 the cost).
In the end we realized that: Company does not honor deadlines or the needs of the customer. Kept telling me how "awesome" the bed is and that delays were not their fault. With the first bed, turns out the mold problem became a recognized issue and we were never notified (I am allergic to mold); motor had to be replaced in the 1st year -- company sent us a refurbished older model that was so loud we couldn't use it when anyone was asleep; edge foam started breaking down almost immediately. Oh, and friends who are "happy" with their bed had to replace all the foam about the 10 year mark. Never again -- better to replace the bed every 8 years!

My parents bought a bed and was delivered on May 11th (switched out from a queen to a king). When the king size bed was delivered there was a part missing. They called customer service and they were told that the part would be shipped to them next day- it took 11 days to receive the part!!! When my father called customer service to tell them that the part had arrived and needed installation, they told him it would cost him $175 to get it installed. He explained to the agent that this was a new mattress and the part was missing when the bed was delivered (it was NOT an add-on). It was a mistake on the delivery people/Sleep Number.
The agent insisted that it would still cost him $175 to have someone come out and install the part. He proceeded to ask for a supervisor, instead, the agent hung up on him and never returned his call. He also pointed out to her that the bed did not feel anything like the one in the showroom, the agent replied that the beds in the showroom may feel differently than the one he received! Where is quality control?! He called again (regarding the missing part issue) and talked to another customer service agent- he explained to the new agent what happened and again asked to be transferred to a supervisor. My dad waited on the phone for 20 minutes and was never connected to the supervisor. Once again, no one has called him back.
He paid $8,000 for a bed, that was missing a part, when the part arrived they expected him to pay for its installation even though it was NOT his mistake. As last resort, my father called the salesperson who sold him the bed and explained to him what happened. He was seeking guidance/assistance from him in order to get his problem sorted out. The salesperson simply said he could not call customer service on his behalf and did not assist him. This bed has a 25-year warranty, frankly, if this is how terrible the customer service will be, you can have your bed back and my parents will take their $8,000 elsewhere.

I'm really sorry for this experience, Miguel. This isn't the service we want to provide for our owners, and I'd like to see how we can help make this right. Please send us a private reply with the account information for your parents and we'll look into this as soon as possible.

I started with 6 months of "mattress research" and after having narrowed it down to 2 I went into a Sleep Number store and spent an hour with an amazing rep. Started with the C2 and tried out the other mattresses until laying on the iLE (Limited Edition Innovation Series). I absolutely love my bed! I have had 2 surgeries on my lower spine so being able to change the firmness of my bed depending on how I am feeling. Sometimes I need a softer feel sometimes I need it much firmer. I definitely recommend this mattress for sure!

We ordered a Sleep Number bed and have had it for two days so not able to give a lot of a review, but wanted to put it out there for new buyers, be sure to understand where your bed needs to be plugged in, we had two plugs on each side of our new bed and did not realize that one of the plugs was powered to the on/off lights for our room. So because of that we were having issue the first two nights but have figured it out now, so only wish we had a bit more training with the bed before we were left to fend for ourselves. I think Sleep Number should offer more information and HANDS-ON with the bed before leaving you to figure it out on your own, especially with folks that are not as into technology as the younger generation is.

I inherited my mom’s twin Sleep Number when she died. I also had a king size Sleep Number for 22 years. It was very comfortable but I had to replace one air bladder. The second one was starting to lose air so I had to replace it with a twin air bladder I got from mom's bed but it didn’t fit exactly. A friend of mine told me that Sleep Number was having a big sale then I got a flyer from them saying they have a price off and he reminded me too that my bed is 22 years old. So, I thought that it's time to replace it.
The first time I went to their store, the young woman was very helpful and delightful to work with. The second time I went, she was not working that day but the other people who were there were also extremely helpful, and knowledgeable. I downsized to a queen mattress that folds and the FlexFit base as well. I was very pleased with the young man who came and set it up. He arrived promptly, worked fast, answered any questions and explained things well. I'm enjoying every bit of the bed and I'd recommend it to my friends. I'm still playing with it, some days I want more air, some days I want less. I'll read an hour before I go to bed and the Zero-G position relaxes everything. In addition, they have a rewards program that they really honor because a friend of mine purchased a bed too and I got a $200 credit to use however I wish. The company actually does what it says it's gonna do. I am really very pleased with my purchase.

We were having problems sleeping. My husband had a shoulder surgery and he was unable to be in a crown position so that was what prompted us to purchase a Sleep Number bed. I bought the whole thing. Our salesman was very knowledgeable and he gave us all of the information that we needed in order to make an informed decision. We did home delivery because there was a lot to adjust. They also had to get to the controls and all of that that we didn't know how to setup, so they did all that. The process took about a couple of hours. We liked the Sleep Number. We're happy with the decision because it was a huge investment. We have been sleeping better. We have recommended it to friends and we have a couple purchase another Sleep Number bed.

The bed is thin and the base is a simple board that is adjustable and the equivalent to a hospital bed. When I asked to return the base they refused. In addition the bed is very uncomfortable and has caused my back injury to become much worse. I have had this mattress for 7 days and they are not interested in working with me at all.

In spite of all the accolades and promises of a 'better night's sleep' and 'waking up in the same position you fell asleep in' that's NOT been the case with our Sleep Number bed at all. We've adjusted the firmness levels up and down for a year now - trying the various 'counseling' provided by the Sleep Number Support staff with no improvement in sleep whatsoever. The primary advantage of the bed is we can easily lift the lightweight air mattress up to change the bedding. We actually sleep better in our camper with a memory foam pad on it than we do with our Sleep Number. (We also put a 3-inch memory foam pad on our Sleep Number, which didn't help much, but did improve the comfort level slightly.)

I bought the bed about two years ago. For the first month or so it seemed ok. And then it started to bulge out on one side. The platform it is on started to show on the other side. I called Sleep Number about the problem and they would email things to try. I lived with the issue for a couple of years. The problem started basically the first month. They would email me how to take the bed apart and I am supposed to try to fix it? I am disabled. I am not mechanically inclined, I have a few screwdrivers and a hammer. It seems that it was not installed right. If I called about an appliance under warranty would they ask me to take it apart. Most of the time they bend over backwards to take care of you because they want repeat customers.
Their warranty is misleading. If you have a problem they want a fee of $175+ to come out and look at the issue. I read the warranty online. There is no place that says there is a charge to come out and look at the mattress. Forget about the long time warranty they give you. You have to pay shipping cost for repair parts both ways and the parts are pro-rated in cost. I went to the sleep number store where I bought the bed for help. Well, I guess I was not buying anything so they were not very helpful. I was told to call the 1-800 number. I called the 1-800 number a few times and just about gave up.
Finally the wife said, "What about the warranty" and, "Can we get it fixed." We paid over $7000 for a bed that has an issue. I had to call them and basically stand firm that I needed someone to come out. I felt like I was getting the run around again. I had to repeat the fact that the problem was from almost day 1. I hate doing that. It so unnecessary. Finally they are sending someone out to look at the problem for free. Nowhere in their warranty does it say there is a charge to come out and look at the mattress under warranty. I guess buyer must beware. If they stand by their word I will write a retraction.

I have had to send sheets back at least 5-6 times because they keep tearing in the middle where the flex top splits. Had a service call and no one can find a record of it. Our prior Sleep Number bed was over 17 years old. We went to their store and the sale reps were knowledgeable. We were deciding to choose between the i7 or i8 and we ended up getting the i7 model. We really like the numbers on top of it and we love its quality. It was delivered to our place and the delivery crew were very good, very courteous, and drove down very quickly. We'd recommend Sleep Number. We did to a friend who went on and bought one.

The sales reps were great and the delivery team did a good job. The bed is well worth the price and it's a good investment. We went to New York City and had a horrible bed to sleep in. This was a $6,676.75 purchase toward the latter part of February 2017 and been nothing but sub-standard after an in-store sale (St. Augustine FL). Split King p5 being our 2nd purchase, we thought the quality would be the same. If there was a negative -5 star rating, that would be more accurate. Service/Repair have been out 3 times to exchange the mattresses, castors, replace air compressor that leaked and we're now waiting for a 4th service call to change out one of the pillow top mattresses where the stitching has unraveled resulting in a wad of material accumulating mid-back increasing back pain. In the meantime, the air has begun leaking (again) from one of the split sides and since service/repairs WORK by their own schedules and not customer needs, plan on staying in a guest room or sleeping on a couch since as is, is unusable.
We warn anyone contemplating a Sleep # system not to waste your money or time but, if you're still curious, ask for a copy of the warranty of the product you are considering purchasing. Take it home and read every word. When you come to the part where Sleep Number offers no returns for your nearly $7,000.00 bed with unresolved issues, maybe you'll reconsider. As a customer, when you reach the end of your rope and call customer service, be prepared to hear a very pleasant speaking representative tell you they completely understand what you're going through, how sorry they are, yadda yadda yadda until you realize, you're stuck with a pile of ** and Sleep Number is laughing all the way to the bank.

Recommendations of other family members led me to making a purchase from Sleep Number. I purchased two mattresses. I’ve had mine for a year and my granddaughter has had hers for seven months. I went to two different stores. It went quick and simple at the first store. At the second one, the sales professional was personable, went above and beyond in customer service, and even called to follow up on me. It was then shipped to me in the box and my family assembled it. But the bed doesn't seem to be holding steady with whatever I adjust. My number seems to have to keep going up.

I got the mattress and the box spring. The sales reps pushed getting the bigger stuff, but that's normal for any place you go to. The delivery went good but they had to replace some of the parts on the base that it sits on because it folded up on us. I just called them and the parts were here the next day. Overall, it was an easy experience and we're enjoying our Sleep Number so far. Also, it was quite a ways way to a store, but they opened one up closer to us.

I spent more than $6,000 on a Sleep Number bed set a number of years ago. I figured the more expensive, the better quality... you get what you pay for, right? Wrong. Over the past two years, the bed has become increasingly uncomfortable. I now wake up nightly with hip pain and I don't have any hip issues! But Sleep Number will stand behind their product, right? Wrong again! Even though I was told the bed came with a 20 year warranty, I now get told it's prorated. I was advised that the gel pad and the foam pad needed to be replaced, at my expense, as "nothing lasts forever Sir." Okay, but they'll stand behind their "fix" of the comfort problem, right? Nope, wrong again! Sleep Number wants me to pay between $250 and $500 to "see if that works." And if it doesn't, too bad. The bed also leaks air and sags in the middle. Boy, did I get screwed. I figure this "bed" has cost over $800 a year... and it hurts! Don't make the same mistake!

I had an old water bed. I took its hose things out and put air tubes in them. I liked it and I was comfortable in it but it was time to get a new one and I wanted another air mattress so I went to Sleep Number. I am not a shopper that goes out and looks at things. If I want something I go get it and that's the end of the story. And the girl I worked with at the Sleep Number store understood that. She got me in, got me out and I was very happy with the mattress and base that I got. When the delivery team came in, they had the bed up and done in very short order. Also, they were on time, cleaned up after themselves and were great.
I liked what I got and the bed gives me actual comfort minus back aches. Moreover, the hand thing on the Sleep Number that's used to put the air in and out of the mattress is very self-explanatory and very convenient. I didn't have to read a manual to learn how to do it. I can even do it when I'm half asleep when I need to. However, it's just like my other air mattress bed that had to have the hoses in it and I wish they would make them to where the hoses are on the bottom so that the fitted sheets stay on the bed. I am anal about sheets being snug, tight and comfortable when I get in and not all wrinkly. But because of those hoses the corner pieces get pulled out a lot and it's a pain in the butt. Also, I have a bed skirt on my bed but because of that jacket thing that you put on the base it slips and slides like somebody ice skating. So the base should have a nicer more stationary cover on it. But, the product itself is great.

I had trouble sleeping and the people who has Sleep Number bed liked it so I bought the mattress including the sheets about less than two years ago. We got our first bed at the Mall of Georgia and the sales people were super nice. It was a very positive experience. Then, less than a year ago I bought another mattress but we don't sleep on that one. We got it for our spare bedroom. We got our second bed at the Gainesville store and the rep from before happened to be there. She's a very nice young lady. The mattresses were delivered but we set them up ourselves. It was very straightforward and very easy. My husband and I are technical people so that was not a problem. So far, we are very satisfied with the mattresses. We were pleased with the quality that as we were putting it up, we did not say to ourselves, "Oh no, this is not gonna last very long." We got our beds during sale. They are well worth it and we'd do it again. I recommend it to my friends.

We purchased our second Sleep Number bed, this time with the FlexFit 3 Base and IQ. While the base will raise and lower, the Massage function leaves something to be desired. It could be improved by adding shiatsu like bars for a real massage instead of just shaking the bed. We also purchase Sleep IQ. While the IQ does provide us with our sleep progress it does not provide advice to raise or lower our number, head position or foot position. This would be extremely helpful but is lacking from the app.

We've had some friends that had Sleep Number beds and they were talking them up real good. And we had a really old mattress and it was starting to sag so we needed something new and we decided to go with Sleep Number. The sales representative were really good and helpful to let us try it out and try to explain what our number was. But they are also not pushy.
The delivery team were quick, very professional, and nice. I have no complaints whatsoever. Then they also hauled off the old mattress for us. My husband used to have some back problems especially with that old mattress. And he doesn't complain with his back anymore. So the Sleep Number mattress has been helpful in that sense. The quality is fine. It isn't necessarily my cup of tea but it's a lot better than what I had. I'm just used to the pillow top mattress for the head. But the one good thing about this, I can pump it up when my back is kind of sore and have a firm mattress. But when it's really cold and I just want to sink in my bed, I turn that number down.
At first it was like what is all this fuss about. But then knowing you can adjust it, even though you have a number that you're comfortable with you can still change it depending on your mood or if your back is hurting. I really do like it. It's not like you have to go get a new mattress so you get every kind of mattress all in one. I would recommend it. In fact, my husband recommended it to his mom and she got one. It's a good bed and I don't have any reason to get a different bed. I'm satisfied with the experience.

When we bought this bed (Dual P5) we was told that we would have dual controls so each one would be able to control. I was waking up with migraine headaches and my husband was waking up with his back hurting him worse than when he went to bed. When we ask them to come and take the bed back they stated that they would take the mattress back but, not the Flex fit 2 which cost 1699.99. I would have to keep that and it would cost me over 200.00 to have them come and take the mattress back. When I explained to them what was going on and the sales rep really took us for a ride they said they couldn't do anything about it. Now I am stuck with almost a 4000.00 bed that we can't sleep in. I would never recommend this bed to any one. In fact I plan on telling everyone I see or meet about this company.

We needed a new mattress and Sleep Number had good reviews in consumer reports. Also, my wife’s sister had a Sleep Number bed and was happy with it. We were shown the different beds and we could try them out so we could experience feeling the pressures. Delivery was smooth. We used our own box spring and the delivery people built a frame to set the bed up.
We got the base model which is $800. The mattress does what it says it does. However, Sleep Number says that it is not so comfortable and they try to charge a couple of thousand dollars for a little bit of foam on top of it. We bought some gel foam topping for much less than the upcharge to add a little softness on top and then found that we appreciated the greater firmness when we simply inflated the thing to maximum. It took us a while to discover that. Sleep Number is trying to sell a lot of products that are overpriced and charging $1000 or $2000 for a little foam is ridiculous. They stress the individual Sleep Number aspect where each person can do it to their own inflation level but we ultimately found that it’s more of a gimmick than a feature.

I had a Sleep Number bed for three years. We recently got a Sleep Number mattress, bedding, and pillows, and I enjoy the bed. However, the pricing is ridiculous. Also, they should have better customer service with online and technical support. The first time we had a tremendous amount of trouble with the bed as far as tech support and had multiple people out to try to fix it. But I haven't had any issues that needed to be dealt with since the last time.

I needed something that I could put the feet and the head up so I got a Sleep Number mattress. However, I don't sleep on it because it got too crowded. So, we all moved back out on the couch. Also, there are some things I wish had done differently like I would have gotten a lower bed rather than higher because I wanted something easy to get out of but now, it’s harder to get into. But their sales reps were wonderful and I bought one for a very good friend of mine.

We purchased out Sleep Number in 2013 and it was the best decision we could have made. After shopping for months and seeing the prices for traditional king size mattresses, we decided to take the chance and spend a little more and get what we really wanted. We went with a middle of the road model at the time because it offered what we needed and wanted (I had trouble sleeping after back surgery and nerve damage issues). Our mattress was delivered without issue and easily set up by the delivery men. They even put on the added mattress pad we purchased because with it we qualified for the better warranty.
It took us a few nights to get used to the new mattress but that didn't surprise us. The salesman actually told us to leave our numbers on our chosen setting for the first few nights to give us time to adjust. My husband whom never complained about his back was suddenly feeling better and waking up better in the morning and I whom had not slept right in years, slept fully and never wanted to get out of bed because it felt so good. Will never go back to a regular mattress again.
I did receive a call a few weeks later to see what I thought of my purchase and the only thing I said that wasn't glowing was that I thought it would be more of a pillow like feel and that I may get a mattress pad. The Sleep Number representative quickly assessed my concern and sent me a thicker mattress pad that can be inserted into the mattress at no charge. Even gave me free delivery. Now that is a company that stands behind their product. I love my Sleep Number! My husband loves our Sleep Number! You will love your Sleep Number!

I was having a lot of lower back pains and someone had recommended that we try Sleep Number. The saleslady was fantastic. She spent about two and a half hours taking us through all the beds and explaining all the differences. She was very informative and wasn't high-pressured. Then, she took us through about an hour on the display of the one that we ended up deciding to purchase and called us about a week later to check on us. We had a home delivery and set up which could have been a little better. They weren't rude but they broke the frame on the window and the curtain rods. We got the Split King with SleepIQ and everything except for the cooling system which is what we're saving to get now. I love the products and from beginning to end, everything was great and everyone who dealt with us was extremely pleasant.

We had Sleep Number before and it was about 12 years old and recently we got a new one. We bought it at a home show and we had discounts on the sheets so that worked out good. We scheduled the home delivery and financed it over but it's paid off this month. We have a split. It splits with the mechanics, the lift, head, and foot. We like the adjustable head and foot rest, it's just comfortable when you're watching TV and reading. It's not for everybody but we enjoy it. It's excellent.

She likes a firm mattress, I like it soft and we both get what we want with our new bed. Best sleep ever! We had our first Sleep Number bed for eight years. It needed to be replaced and we needed to upgrade into a newer bed. We went to their store at Ridgedale to buy another one and the salesman was very helpful and thorough. He showed us around all the different ones, all the memory foam and he was very efficient in what he did. He was one of the reasons why we got the bed. We got it delivered and it's easy to set up.
On the other hand, I don't like the sheets that we bought. There's also too much that goes underneath the mattress. The materials are fine but I'm not really sure about the whole corners on them and the straps that go underneath. I suppose it's because we don't have one of the big mattresses. Maybe the sheets sit different if I had one of the big pillow mattresses which we don't have. In addition, the mattress pad has a plastic or vinyl cover that keeps the moisture from going into the mattress further underneath but it creates too much heat for me so I had to switch the mattress cover to a regular one. But I understand that because with our old bed, after a certain number of years, the body moisture goes down so we found a certain amount of mold on the foam around the mattress. Other than that, I really like our second bed and I would recommend it.

Love our Sleep Number bed. Have recommended to a few friends and they love the bed also. I do not like the Sleep IQ, but I think that is more a problem with the wifi in our house than the Sleep Number. I would like to get the flex fit base for our bed.

I’ve had the Sleep Number for a year. I decided to purchase it because of the adjustable features and hopefully it would last longer. The sales professionals were good. We went twice and both the people we talked to were knowledgeable and not pushy. We were pleased. The delivery was very good and everything went smoothly. We were very impressed with the guys that came out and put it together. The quality is excellent but the price is over inflated. The only way I could justify the price was the fact that we spend a third of our life in bed so, that’s the only way I could justify spending that kind of money on a mattress.

I was hoping to sleep better with the Sleep Number bed. I told the sales rep what I needed and he made a recommendation. We thought that the adjustable comfort level of the bed, once we fine tune it, would be the best option that we could find and also that the cooling pad on it with the sheets that are supposed to keep us extra cool would help with the night sweats. But it's not working too well. I don't stay asleep and the cooling technology on it doesn't help. We sweat more with this technology than we did with just a standard mattress and sheets that we've had in the past. Everything was great with the delivery team and it's the highest quality bed we've ever had, but it's not worth the money.

I was very satisfied with my experience with the Sleep Number products in the store. The sales person Kimia was very helpful in demonstrating the products and answering all my questions. I like that the bed was adjustable to manage my lower back pain. I ultimately was sold on the p5 Sleep Number Bed. I can't wait to get my bed and have a good night's rest.

We went to Sleep Number so I could try out what the mattresses would feel like to me. I have a lower back issue that causes me a large amount of pain. When I get up out of bed. It also affects my ability to walk. After spending 45 min to an hour in two beds. The pain was minimal when getting up.

We have had our Sleep Number M7 for almost a month so far and we love it! It took a few nights for us to get use to it and find our number but after the first week we have been sleeping much better! I love the ability to adjust it to whatever setting I like depending on how our day was. It's the best of both worlds being able to have a soft bed when you want to fall into it, or make it a little more firm for that added support! Still getting use to the Sleep IQ, since we are in and out of bed throughout the night. We had to turn off the sleep tracking until we go to bed for it to be a little more accurate. Other than that so far we haven't had any issues.

My parents and a couple of our friends have Sleep Number so we knew the quality and like the idea of it being adjustable for firmness that's why we also purchased one a year ago. We just got the mattress because we had a platform bed so we didn't need the base or any pillows. We also got the mattress protector and two pillow protectors and iLE. Their delivery team were great and helped us with our old bed. We like the overall quality of Sleep Number but I have to put in a claim for a warranty because when we were moving from California to Arizona, it had a stain on the top of it even though we have the mattress protector. However, I haven't done the claim yet because we're just trying to settle in Arizona first before adding that on top of everything. Also, the only other thing would be is that my parents weren't eligible for the referral since they purchased their bed over 10 years ago through Sleep Train.

The bed was great but not long after getting the bed the controller stopped working. Love my bed just wish I could change the settings. Very good customer service when I went into the store. Came in a timely manner. The controller is the only issue we had.

We have had a mattress for several years, but since I have had some problems since I fell about 18 months ago so we added a mattress pad that will be softer for my old bones. It was ordered from Anderson, South Carolina. I will never use another mattress set and I want you all to know that my husband and I have had a wonderful days and months with your wonderful Sleep Number set... is just wonderful. You will not need to worry about us because we are true believers of your Sleep Number bed. My husband is 81 and I am 79, and we are sleeping like babies,. As I said I fell several weeks ago and we called to check on something, that you might have something for me, and I am so happy that you had what I needed. We are looking forward to when it comes. I bought a bed that totally screwed me up. So I returned that and, after talking to some friends, decided I should check out Sleep Number and that was the way to go so I could adjust the firmness. The sales reps were very friendly and helpful. I got the bed with the frame and then some months later, I purchased the part that raises and lowers it. The delivery team was very professional, went about their business, got everything set up, cleaned up and were out of there. I've had it for close to a year now. But I had shoulder surgery recently and so I've been sleeping in a recliner and I'm hoping to get back in my Sleep Number. It has very high quality and I would recommend it to friends.

We had a regular mattress and heard good things about Sleep Number's mattresses so we thought we'd give Sleep Number a try. We came in one night and talked with the salesman. He's really knowledgeable and professional. We were there for 45 minutes. We went home and thought about it. Then we came back the next day and made the purchase, no pressure at all. We scheduled a delivery and my wife said the delivery went fine and they removed the old bed. Overall, the mattress has a very high quality and the entire experience with Sleep Number was positive.

My ass! The sales pitch is 100 days free trial. The free trial is for the mattress only. You're not told the base is NOT returnable at a $1700 charge. Yes, it's stated in the terms and conditions on the back side of your receipt. NOT by the salesman. I realize some people may ask why these didn't get read? I'll ask how many people read the back side of a receipt? When you buy a car, ALL terms and conditions are explained and shown. What a great way to sell a nonreturnable base.

We shopped in your Milford, CT store to familiarize ourselves with your sleep products. Within 1 hour and 20 minutes, we purchased a new i8 mattress, adjustable base, pillows and sheets. WISHING I COULD LEAVE LESS THAN 1 STAR. This has been the absolute worst experience I have ever had with a company epically spending 7,000 on a bed?!? What in the world kind of company is this? I will be making a formal BBB complaint and further more pushing to speak with somebody from corporate that will listen, this has been absolutely ridiculous.
Got sold the wrong bed. Told it was an i10 turns out to be an i8. Got ahold of a rep in OKC, got told about a floor model that is a split top i10 (nobody told me about). Said I would take it, gave her all my info was pleased so I bought every accessory. Bed that I bought was not a split top i10 king but a true split i10 king with the grand canyon between my wife and I. Was told it would take an extra 30+ days (May 5th) until I could have the non-returnable mattress but it would be new pads etc. so it would be a new bed with warranty. Was told I could pick it up here in my home town. Get a call saying the bed I wanted was sold (again).
Now I have to go 2+ hrs one way to pick up the bedding. Sent a driver ($100 plus fuel), picked up my bedding in some thrown together boxes that were busted apart. Half the bedding wasn't in boxes. It was just crumpled together and placed in the back seat of the truck (all by your employees). Bedding WAS NOT NEW, still has yellow stains (pointed out to the delivery/installers and the response was, "Oh they didn't give you new ones"). Didn't send the pump or remote, had to send them on a separate day. May 4th at 5:30 pm I get a call that they won't be delivering my bed (that I have waited 30+ days for) because other people were on the schedule. You have known for a month that I was on the schedule. I took half a day non-returnable vacation to be able to be there for the installation instead had to have my 2 daughters alone in the house with the 2 guys who were very nice btw. Only good thing so far.
Why would you bump the guy that has waited a month for his bed rather than rescheduling somebody that had just bought their bed. It took them 45 min to set it up. Could they have not squeezed it in? Called MULTIPLE times and spoke to many different people and got transferred everywhere to finally end up talking to Emilee who seemed VERY helpful in trying to get me taken care of said. She would make some calls and call me back. Never hear back from her. Got told she came in at 11:00 am (I called around 9 am) still nothing.
Called back again and again getting different people who all promised the same thing to get back with me (reading my cell number back to me, same one I've had for 10+ years so wasn't the wrong number as stated by one lady). There are a few things (minor in comparison) that were left out that got under my skin but for somebody to pay 7, 8 10,000 for a bed and get this kind of treatment??? It's a joke wouldn't you agree?

I have had sleep number bed for MANY years. I love my Sleep Number but have lately been thinking about getting one that raises the head and foot sections. Now that I am a 'seasoned citizen' it seems right that I should continue to get the best sleep that I can.

Second-time owner of a Sleep Number bed. Very happy with the first bed. More recently purchased an i8 with a flex base fall of 2016 and took delivery a couple months later due to necessary medical travel for our daughter. Anyway... very disappointed this time. Called Customer Service with our problems, and were left hanging. We spent a small fortune on a dream bed that is falling short of our expectations. The store was unable to help us, and Customer Service wouldn't send someone to help us. Very disappointed!

I have different preferences and Sleep Number was a comfortable mattress so I went with them. The sales reps put us on one to do a little test and see what our number was. We did what we wanted to do, so dealing with them has been pretty easy. We got the mattress and the base and the delivery of the items went fine. Overall, it's good.

We have known about Sleep Number before and that it allows to have a different level of comfort. There’s a big difference between my husband's number and mine. The bed is a lot more comfortable for me. I like the quality of it and we also have the individual controllers. I heard that Sleep Number was going to only have one controller per bed but I’m glad that we beat that. I appreciate having a separate one and you don’t have to go looking for it. I’m glad that we purchased Sleep Number and we’ve recommended it to others. One of them got a bed from Sleep Number too.

I have a bad back and I was hoping Sleep Number would help with that, but it does not seem to be better. I don't know that it's really worth the price of what I paid for it. However, the sales professionals were all really good and the delivery team was nice and professional. It's a comfortable bed and a good experience as well.

I have a terrible back so I opted to purchase a Sleep Number. I've tried other beds but they didn't work, and Sleep Number was the most expensive, last resort option I have. I tried a Tempur-Pedic and one of the newer online like Casper, but those were terrible in just about every way and intolerable. I can tell that Sleep Number is better than those. But it certainly has not been the dream solution for my back. I have bad days but it's better in terms of breathability. I found that the other two were bad even though they claim to be better. North East was pretty bad and honestly, it's gross. I got a call not long after I got it and they sent me a topper and I can't really say that made any difference.
Overall Sleep Number is okay. It is nice for my wife and I because she's a side sleeper and has hip issues. It definitely helps her hurt. Previously, I was moving around a lot so I didn't have a bed. I was sleeping on a really cheap air mattress for a long time. It's a good quality mattress, but I haven't found anything that can satisfy the issues for my back. We just bought the mattress. I wasn't really willing to spend the money on something that was not gonna affect the function of the bed. But at the time that I bought it, I was moving around a lot and it's a plus that I was able to take the bed apart and pack it up and I didn't want to accrue a lot of furniture.
I went to a couple of different stores before I finally pulled the trigger on one. They're consistent but not the same as like a furniture store in which you're kind of pressured to buy something. Delivery showed up over two days because it came in a number of boxes. They posted a video on YouTube and I used that as per sales' advise. I can pause it at my own leisure and set it up. It took a little while initially but it was intuitive. It's been good depending on what you buy and could spend for a mattress. I like that it's modular and upgradeable. We've considered purchasing the adjustable base sometime in the future and like that option of doing that. Sleep Number is nice but expensive. If I were to recommend them to one of my friends, they probably wouldn't be willing to spend $3,000 on a mattress because they don't need to. So I would definitely recommend it to somebody who had the same issues that I have.

We were going through mattresses quite regularly and they were getting uncomfortable. So, a little over a year ago, we decided to get a Sleep Number. The sales rep was really good and we pretty much knew what we wanted. I believe she was one of the owners so she was pretty knowledgeable about it. We got the set, the bed, frame, mattress. I had it delivered but I put it together myself and that was so easy. We've even moved it once since. It's been a great experience. I don't see us ever going back to a conventional mattress. I love it.

Every bed I've owned has been too soft for me. My old bed, I had for six years. Personally, I like a harder bed and they have that option with the Sleep Number where you could make it pretty solid. The sales reps were super friendly and helpful. They explained everything from the beginning to end. A lot of salespeople can be super pushy but I liked how they weren't pushy and wanted to make sure that I found something that I liked and accommodated both me and my boyfriend. We just had it UPS-delivered. We set it up ourselves and it was really simple. But now, we're no longer together and he actually has the bed. I didn't wanna fight over stuff. But I actually really liked it so I'm gonna be buying one a year down the road. I still go back there and buy sheets. I also bought memory foam from them.

Sleep IQ is very inaccurate. The readings on the app are spotty. The graphs on the phone are only partly there. Sometimes when I slept great it says I slept bad and vice versa. The other day I was checking my IQ on the phone and it said I was still in bed. The positioning fold is too far down for tall people, so that I am too far down in the bed.

If I could rate my experience a zero I would have. This bed was delivered and set up by Sleep Number on the 18th of April. Since then it has done nothing but leak air. If we don't pump the bed to 100 and set our sleep number prior to going to bed EVERY night, we wake up on the support platform. So far I have had to cap off both chambers and that seemed to fix the issue. I received a new pump and installed it. The leak seems to be slower but is still present. Now we can go maybe 2 nights before we have to reset the bed. Now, per customer service I have to cap the bed again and see if it leaks. Pretty sure there is a return in my future. Sleep Number just doesn't seem to be the solution for us. Sad actually. I was really excited about getting this bed because of all of the good things I've heard about it. Guess it's not for everyone.

Worst experience with a company I've ever had. Purchased a P5 mattress and had Sleep Number Home delivery set it up. After sleeping on it for a month, and having to refill the chamber every night I decided to return. After speaking with an associate at their store they told me check the air hose and valve & make sure it was firmly connected. If it was, then I either got a defective mattress or they guys set it up incorrectly. I called customer service to return the mattress after confirming that the hose & valve were good and was told the same thing. We proceeded with a DEFECTIVE return of the mattress but was still charged to return it. That is unacceptable that I would be charged for defective product, especially after I paid to have sleep number's installers set it up. I was told I could ship it back to them at my cost, but of course the installers took the original boxes with them so I would have to find boxes to fit a bed into. Good luck with that.
This is the 4th sleep number mattress we have bought & we will never purchase one again based off this experience. I recommend everyone to STAY AWAY from sleep number unless you're willing to pay extra money if you have a defective product. Their 100 day sleep number guarantee is a complete sham, make sure to read every word of that fine print. Otherwise you're in for a horrible experience.

We've had a Sleep Number bed before for 17 years. That one was so low. We have it in water bed frame and I was tired of that. I had a couple of open heart surgeries and that was very difficult for me. I wanted the head part up higher so I purchased a new Sleep Number bed. It was home delivered and the delivery team was fine.

We had back problem and we wanted a more comfortable bed, so we decided to purchase Sleep Number. We got the fixed base, the frame and the headboard. We brought our kids with us and the sales rep entertained the kids too so it was good. She also explained everything and all our options. It went well. The delivery team was also good. It's very fast and it's on time. So far, the quality of the bed is good. It has been more than a year now, and it still looks like new. It was an excellent experience purchasing a bed.

I absolutely love my ComfortFit pillow and recommend it to everyone I know. Long story short my dog peed on one of the pillows this morning. We called to see what type of cleaning options we had because you can NOT put this in a washing machine without destroying it. The representative (he didn't get her name or else I would have given her my kudos as well) my boyfriend spoke to put a 50% off coupon on our account so we could replace the pillow. I called back and spoke to Ry and she found the discount on our account and processed a new order for me right away. It only took at the most 5 minutes to get my replacement pillow ordered. I have a back problem and I spend eight hours on the dialysis machine and our Sleep Number really helped. We used to have a hospital bed and we got rid of it. I like the Sleep Number mattress better. We got the whole bed and I pick my number in adjusting the firmness and it's fine. Since then I've noticed excellent changes and it dealt with my back problem.

We've been using Sleep Number for 20 years and we love it. We now have three beds and we needed the third bed since we were switching out a regular mattress in our Florida house. So we upgraded the older one here at home, moved it to the lake and got a new mattress for here. We walked in the store and said, "This is what we want." We had it delivered but we set it up ourselves. We put the bottom holder part on, stuff in the foam rubber edging and then put the bladders in, hook it up, inflate them, put the top on it and we're done. However, Sleep Number is a little expensive but worth it. The quality's excellent.

I was having problems with my back and trying to get a good night’s sleep. The sales person at Sleep Number that I spoke with has always been johnny on the spot with the right answers. They also set it up at my home and it was too close to the floor for me. Also, there are a lot of mechanical and moving parts, but it is an extremely expensive bed and I’m almost embarrassed to tell people how much I paid for it. I’m scared to move it around and reposition it in my room or if I decide that I’m gonna move from this house to another house, I don’t have a clue how I’m gonna get it done unless they come out and make that transition for me with the bed because I don’t want to do anything that will screw up its mechanisms.
The only issue I had was that it wasn’t performing up to my expectation initially and it took me a long time to get adjusted to it. At first, it wasn’t seeming to be the fix for me. When I was really concerned with it not performing like I wanted it to and I called, I didn’t get the response that I thought I was gonna get. I thought they would be more helpful and interested in trying to make sure that I got the quality that was promised to me. But they seemed like they dropped the ball on us. I didn’t get anybody who tried to help me resolve it so, I felt stuck with what I had but they knew that I recognize that I was stuck with an obligation and I had to make the best of it.
I still haven't adjusted to it being close to the floor but I've learned to live with it. I’m acclimated now and I’m beginning to adjust to it. It serves me well. I’m almost 70 years old and a split bed makes it difficult for me to make it up. I got to try and reach across and stuff it down between the crack in the two mattresses which is not an easy task at my age and with my disabilities. I try to inflate the bed back to its full potential each morning when I make the bed up because other than that, it doesn’t look very nice deflated. It's purely electric and one of my fears is that when there are inclement weather and the power go out and my bed is fully deflated, I’m helpless to having it perform the way I want it to and I will be sleeping on something as hard as a rock and I wouldn't be able to do anything about it. It still offers me difficulties, but I try to let the good outweigh the bad. I sleep much better on it.

We were looking to replace my mother-in-law's bed in Cleveland. We looked around and had seen Sleep Number advertised so we got one for her and then we bought one for ourselves. We got both beds in Ann Arbor and the sales professionals were great. We did a home delivery which was fast and the team was very nice. They were here exactly when they said they were going to be, which is always helpful.

We’ve heard about Sleep Number for years when we lived on the Northeast side, near my daughter’s house. Then she built a new home here so we moved at Upper Arlington and we talked to them a couple of times in Polaris. When we came here, we forgot about it. And then Stacy, my daughter, bought one for her daughter. They’re tall kids and they both have queen-sized mattresses from Sleep Number. And then Stacy and Tray also have had one for eight years. One time they had trouble with the pump and Sleep Number came out and gave her a new pump and took care of that. Tray is an ex-pro-football player so he had to have operation on his back. He sleeps on it pretty hard on his side and he likes it very well.
We got the king size two and a half years ago. Jan likes it real hard and I like it 75 but we’re sleeping fine on it. We both are older so we both have back troubles but it doesn’t hurt anything. Also, the sales reps were very thorough. When they set the bed up for us and told us we ought to start and try it a certain way, they were very good. The guys that installed ours came out when they’re supposed to be here, so we appreciate their good service. We’re very satisfied with their service and the quality of the product. We like it very well and we’re very happy with it.

My Sleep Number bed is the best bed that I've ever owned. I've had Sleep Number since 35 years ago, and my dealings with the sales representative were totally online. The conventional mattress is not too good, but the Sleep Number mattress felt really good. I liked its adjustability and lightness, and simply the fact that I can clean it. It's not built with foam. But I do not like the heavy cover on it. I got a few leaks after about 25 years. We bought a new Sleep Number bed recently and it's doing good. I've actually shared about Sleep Number with a lot of friends. They have a promotional thing where I get a kickback for promoting their product. I never did that promo, but nonetheless I promote the Sleep Number bed, and we have about 10 people who love it. It's a wonderful product and I love it.

I heard that Sleep Number is a good product so a year and a half ago, I purchased my Sleep Number mattress, base, pillows and bedding. I had them delivered at home and the delivery team did well. They set up the bed in half an hour - it was easy and fast. The bed is pretty good and comfortable. I'm happy with it.

I purchased a Sleep Number for the bed's ability to recline, lift the head, and have different firmness. Their sales rep was a little too good as I walked out of there $7,200 poorer but my wife was happy. Since having the bed, I sleep a little better and my wife as well because of the snore feature. There were two guys who delivered it and they were good. However, I felt like the gap in-between the split was a bit much. We have the bed where the feet don't split, only the head and in the showroom, I pictured them being snug together and there's a good four-inch gap at the very top. They said that it would settle out and it hasn't. Other than that, it was a good experience.

I love my bed. It is adjustable to my pain as I can adjust the head and feet but I can also adjust the comfort level of softness I need to survive the day. I have chronic pain and so does my husband and we are sleeping so much better since I can get my head up further than him and I can also go softer than him and we both wake up more rested than with our old Tempur-Pedic beds.

I purchased my bed years ago and I loved it at first because of all the features. I chose the split king and I regret it. My spouse and I fall between the gaps that gets wider over time. I have back problem now than I had before. We can't lie next to each other or intimacy for the gaps! There is no way for Sleep Number to fix this so I am just stuck with a six thousand dollar bed.

We were in the market for a new mattress, so on a referral from a family member, we purchased the Sleep Number products. We thought it might be useful and comfortable. We got the modular base, the mattress, two pillows, and the mattress liner protector. There were a couple of different people that we interacted with during our purchase, and some were better than others. We were and are a little disappointed in the whole experience. It was arguably below average in many facets. There were different people within the store with different personalities. Some were pushier than others and some were a little arrogant about the product. I didn't find that endearing in any sort of way and was an experience that simply did not live up to the hype.
There was also an awful lot of hype about the product but I'm not convinced that the product warrants the price tag. The commercials and the marketing give the consumer the impression that the Sleep Number is this wonderful product. However, we had to have their bed serviced approximately six months ago. Reading the warranty details, I realized that it's not all it's cracked up to be. Even though it's billed as maybe the last bed you'll ever own, a 20-year this or that, by the time you get eight years down the line, you may as well be buying another mattress from another retailer.
When you start looking at the out-of-pocket costs, the consumer is better off avoiding the Sleep Number product and going in another direction altogether because, over the course of 20 years, you're going to buy three mattresses anyway. Rather than pay $2,500 to Sleep Number plus the service visit, service calls plus the pro-rata portion of the replacement component such as the side walls, top padding, and whatever else it may be involved, you may as well go buy three $800-mattresses 'cause you're still going to be in the place cost-wise and with a whole lot less aggravation. It was overall a disappointing experience. So I will not be recommending and have not recommended Sleep Number to anyone I know.

We checked out memory foam but weren’t overly impressed by it and decided that we wanted to check out Sleep Number. We went up to one of the stores and laid down on a couple of the beds, adjusted them a little bit and decided we were going to give one a try.
The gentleman that we spoke with was very pleasant. He walked us around and asked us what exactly we were looking for and what we wanted in a mattress. He was very professional but at the same time, he was very easy to talk to. He wasn’t difficult to relate to. He asked us if we wanted more tours for top of the line or the basic and we let him know more basic. He didn’t press us to get any of the bells and whistles we weren’t after. We just got what we wanted and that was it. It was a good experience and I would not mind doing it again. Hopefully not anytime soon because mine is doing wonderful. We didn’t have it delivered at home but to our shop because we’re not home during the day. Then we carried it home and assembled everything ourselves. It wasn’t bad, I did most of it.

We purchased our Model 7000 Sleep Number bed in July 2008. It still remains as comfortable as the day we got it. The adjustability is remarkable; plus, as I age I can change the comfort level. What a great idea. The only need we have is to replace the 4" pillow top as that is not adjustable. We would get another.

We were in the market to buy a bed since our mattress was old. The Sleep Number place was running a pretty good sale on it where it was pretty affordable and that's what made us decide to go with them. We just got the mattress, and had it for a year now and we like it. Their sales representatives explained it all to us, and we got to try it out, see how it works and adjust the numbers. They are not pushy at all. We had it delivered in our house and then we put it together ourselves. It was pretty simple because the instructions seemed to be pretty clear. However, Jacob still struggles a bit with finding his number. It depends on how his back feels from one day to the next. He's on his feet a lot so some days, his back is a little bit more sore than the others. But for the most part, we like it.

The Sleep Number salesperson was fantastic, showed us the bed and did a good job. Delivery was also great. The guys came in, pumped it up, showed us how to do it, left and didn't mess up anything. Everything else is absolutely awful. Sleep Number is the worst bed. I should have gotten a Tempur-Pedic. If I could give it back and get 75% of my money back, I'd do it. But they only have 180 days return policy so it's over. It is the worst $3,000 I ever spent in my life.
We had an old spring mattress. But the saleslady said, "With the Sleep Number you'll be able to adjust the bed to the comfort that you like." Then we got the king-size bed with the base. We've had it for a year now but it took us five months to realize that it is the most uncomfortable bed. When you drop your number down to 25 and you roll over, you feel like you're sleeping on that box, that thing at the bottom. If you keep the number at 50, then it feels like there's no cushion, no lumbar support whatsoever. We still have back problems. It's an air mattress. It's hard and it hurts. I can go to Wal-Mart, get one of those plastic blow-up beds and it'll be the same thing.

We needed a new mattress so I went to the Sleep Number store and purchased one. Their sales reps were very friendly and helpful. We then scheduled for home delivery and I assembled the bed myself. It wasn't difficult because the instructions were pretty self-explanatory. Sleep Number is better than the one I had before because I could adjust it to whatever firmness I like. When I bought it, I thought that this mattress will help out with my back pain and it did! It has improved the pain. However, I hope they have a better deal with the base so I could afford it. Other than that, I'd recommend Sleep Number.

My wife and I were looking for a new bed. We had a memory foam bed and we wanted to go to something different that wasn't memory foam or have springs in it 'cause I don't care for a bed that has those. Also, we were in a double bed and we wanted to upgrade to a bigger one. We walked in one of the stores and tried Sleep Number out and my wife said she wanted one. The sales people were great and we purchased the whole thing like the mattress and the regular modular base. This was over a year ago, and about three months ago, we went back and bought two pillows from them. The people were very nice to us and happy to have our business right there. They explained everything that they needed to explain. Any questions we had, they took the time and answered them.
Our Sleep Number purchases were pretty expensive but it's a very good product and it was well worth the experience going in there and that's what made us decide real fast that we wanted it. We went in other places and the customer service wasn't the same. It's usually, you walk through the door, they say, "Hi. We'll be right with you." In other mattress places I've been to, you walk through the door and you don't see anybody or they're waiting for you to go to them. But with the Sleep Number people, as soon as one of the people at the store was available, one came right over to us and asked us to try a bed. They put you on all the different beds and see which one you'll like. I had our purchase delivered then I put it together and it was not complicated. I'm a construction worker so I work on things all the time.

Having back issues with our old bed, we bought our first Sleep Number mattress. We also got the sheets, the bedding, and the protective cover. However, we got the mattress that tilts up and the crack is always spread wide open which I'm not very happy about. I always fall in the crack. Otherwise, I like the bed overall and it's been a good experience.

I had water beds for many years. They were different versions from college to full motion to semi-motion to soft-sided down motion, and after 27 years of that, my wife wanted to try a conventional mattress. We did that and it was a horrible two years. Instead of going back to a water bed, she wanted to try an air mattress. The sales reps met us at the door and introduced us to all the different ones. The original salesman we had was honestly very new to sales and we were told a few weeks after, when we came back, that he was moved elsewhere. But the other sales lady we worked with was very good. She knew her stuff inside and out, and that also helped us make a decision on changing to a different bed. Now, she's a manager.
What options they had with sales were on at that time and we weighed all that out. We waited a few weeks, came back to make sure we didn't make an impulse buy, and actually made a minor change on the one we purchased from what we thought we were going to purchase and that was about it. It worked out fine. The bed was delivered and their crew hauled the old one off. I kept the base that I had from the water bed days which was sturdy enough to hold up an air mattress. We kept it and the box springs and just bought the Sleep Number mattress and some pillows. The crew was great. They got the bed set up in probably less than an hour, and there was no problem in and out. Everything went as expected. We've had the Sleep Number for about a year now. To me, the Sleep Number is just a waterbed without the water. My wife has her side, I got my side, and it works fine.

We have family members that have Sleep Number and referred us to get one as well. The salesman was very helpful through the whole process and showed us all the beds. We got the mattress, the mattress protector, and two pillows. Then, we scheduled a home delivery which went well. Sleep Number has really good quality and we’re really happy with the purchase.

We had been shopping for a new mattress for a little while. My wife and I have very different ideas of how soft the bed should be and we decided to try Sleep Number out. We got the adjustable bed and the sales reps took their time with us. They made sure that we were choosing the right bed for us and went through the different types of tops and accessories that they had with each bed. They also asked us if we needed any of the beddings. We were probably there for at least an hour and we weren't rushed or highly pressured. Coming out of sales, I appreciated that. And as far as the guys who came to install the bed, they were in and out in probably less than an hour which was a small miracle considering where they had to go with it and getting it setup. Our purchase was worth the money. Sleep Number has great customer service and we haven't had any issues with any of the electronics or parts of the bed at this point.

My husband and I were very excited to try out this wonderful bed in hope of a good night sleep. I looked online to get an idea of what to expect... price, promotions.. etc. Then we went into the store. We were immediately greeted by James who showed us two of the beds and gave us a demo. We were told they were offering a 90 day trial, 100% satisfaction guarantee... No risk, return at no cost.
We were told this no less than three times (in store and by phone). Great! We fell for it and proceeded to call in our purchase by phone 2 weeks later. One month later... and not completely satisfied.... I inquired online about the trial period and return policy and to see if there would be any charges if I were to return.. I was told 100 "night" trial - and yes I would be charged $179 to return.
Ok, so I was told no risk and no cost if I returned within the trial period. I decided to send my bed back and to my surprise I get to pay $197 to return the "mattress only?!?" I'm stuck with a $1,999 bed frame. So why was this never mentioned especially when I asked three times prior to my purchase and on the chat line? Bad businesses... So warning, the tiny print that said something about the it@... that means the bed frame you'll be stuck with. Warning to all, "There is No Such Thing as a free trial or 100% Satisfaction, No Risk Guarantee." You buy it, you are stuck with it! They got your money and don't give a **!

I've had an older Sleep Number. I got a new one since I needed a bed that accommodated my health. The head lifts up on the new Sleep Number. I have breathing issues and fibromyalgia so the whole bed helps. Its quality is a 100%. I'm happy with it. Their sales reps were all very pleasant as well. I got along with them just fine. Also, the guys delivered the bed and set it up. They explained everything to me that if I move, they'll come, take it down and set it up again if I want them to.

We needed new mattresses so we decided to invest with Sleep Number. We also got new bases and the one that raises the head part. I'm well pleased and I enjoyed the beds very much. My husband and I are senior citizens and we keep each other awake now so I bought two, one for him and one for me. I already had friends that had bought from Sleep number and I also had a sister and her husband that bought them when they first came out and they loved the mattress. The sales professionals from Sleep Number explained everything to us. They were very courteous and when they delivered the beds, too. Together with the installers, they were great and helpful.

We’re really satisfied with Sleep Number. The reason we got it is when we went down to Phoenix and spent a month with our oldest daughter who lives there, their bed was very comfortable. And my wife always complained about our mattress which was only was a year old. The sales rep explained the different beds that they had and the delivery team set the bed up in our home. We got a split king Sleep Number that has the dual raising feature so my husband and I could ease individually. He generally sleeps all day, and I don’t. The sales reps in their store were very helpful, straightforward and simple. They explained all the systems and let us try them all out. Their delivery team was great as well. They came and set the mattress up and it went pretty fast. They also showed us troubleshooting stuff and how to use the mattress. Our Sleep Number helped my husband with his back pain because he can elevate the mattress to get out of bed so he doesn’t have to try and sit up, straining his back. It also has been fabulous with his snoring.

I'm in the army so I work out a lot and that was causing me to have some back pains and then I kept hearing that the Sleep Number was a good bed. So, I thought of trying this one and purchased the mattress. I've contacted a few of the sales reps and I kept going in the store looking at stuff. Everyone that I've met in person has been exceptionally caring and helpful. When I come and ask questions, they always give me printouts and the business card to make sure I know who to contact to or who it could be that I was looking for at that particular time. I didn't do my research and I was not aware that it was somewhat of an air mattress. So, I said they can deliver it and I'll put it together. Then, I didn't know that it came in a box so I had a couple of friends help me because I thought it was going to be difficult, but it actually wasn't. With the Sleep Number, I can lay down and go to sleep and when I wake up, the back pain is not there.

The people over at Sleep Number were very nice to me. They let me lie on the beds and they can tell what my number is. And whenever I lie down on the bed, I would see the silhouette with the color’s red changing as the pressure is taken off of me. I like that and that was pretty neat. They said I had a lot of pressure. I had to go up firmer than what they actually thought I would start out at. I had trouble with making my back tough. It was just getting a little sore, so I just kept raising it up and ended up to about a number 50 and for me that works out pretty good.
We have two Sleep Number beds. The first one was the queen size one that ended up going to my daughter then my wife and I bought a king size. We went from a lighter weight on that queen to the 1.5-inch and that seemed to affect me. It had more to do with the padding top on it. Both were delivered to my home. For the queen, we already had a box spring type setup so all we did was set the mattress up on that. And then for the king size, I built the solid base for it to fit in our room. They came in the boxes like the saleslady said. She said it’s very easy to put together, which it was. It’s like unfold it, plug in the compressors and the tubes, and I just have the right ends on it setting the mattress hard and so forth.

Purchased top of the line Sleep Number with total investment of over $7,000. No health issues just looking to enhance sleep experience. Despite multiple calls and adjustments, including additional equipment, over 30 day period I continued to awaken with increasingly worse back pain. It finally reached a point where I could no longer sleep on the bed. That however is not my complaint. While I didn't find the bed satisfactory others might.
I am however extremely disappointed in how the return policy is promoted, explained and handled. Sleep Number representatives and promotions make a big deal out of the 100 day satisfaction and return policy. However with the exception of the legal language in the purchase agreement they fail to disclose that only the mattress portion is eligible for return.
Shipping costs for purchase and return are not included which cost hundreds of dollars. While I hoped they would truly offer a 100% guarantee I was not surprised to learn these costs would not be covered. I was however very shocked to learn the frame that you purchase with the bed is also not covered! This was certainly not shared by my sales representative in her presentation or in the highlighted purchase agreement review. In my case that means my 30 day "risk free trial" cost me nearly $4000 of my $7,000+ investment. $4000!
I am truly embarrassed I didn't delineate mattress versus frame in the return language or that I paid nearly 3,000 for a bed frame. However I am not so embarrassed that I will fail to warn every prospective customer of Sleep Number. This includes posts on sites such as this and multiple social media and web outlets. Of course I have shared this info with family, friends, business associates, my rotary and the like.
I sincerely hope Sleep Number considers changing either the presentation and promotion of their return policy or accepts the frame back with return. Truly it is baffling to me why they would accept a mattress that has been slept on and not the metal frame on which it rests. I can only assume it is a way to either push acceptance of the mattress or stick it to their customers. Please be careful in your dealings with this company!

I had a bad back from a car accident so I purchased a Sleep Number. At first I didn't get approved and then suddenly I got a call from one of their salesmen saying that there was another card, this health card. I didn’t know that the interest was gonna go up. I didn't know I was on a special promotion and the interest went up on it already.
I'm not pleased at the moment. The modular base got cracked at first. I called and had them try to fix the problem because I'm paying for a lot of money for a bed that I wasn't comfortable on. So, they sent me a new one. When the people came out to exchange it, they only exchanged two pieces. The lady on the phone told me that they're made as a set and they should change the whole set out. And then the modular base was squished down, so they decided to send me a new one. Also, my fiancée sits on a lower number than me and I roll to her side. So, they sent me a new memory foam.
It's all different from how they show you at the store, and they have you sit on it and they try to find your number. I only feel comfortable when I lay on my back but I like laying on my side, I move on my stomach, I move on my back and I move around a lot. It's one of best beds out there but for some reason it hasn't been working for me for the first year. The lady told me she sent me this new stuff and try it out for a little bit. If I don't feel comfortable, I'm going to have to talk to their Sleep Number team. I got several hundred dollars' worth of their stuff I have to send back to them. I can’t believe they didn’t send me no return labels for it.

I was looking for a new bed and Sleep Number seemed like the thing to do since my husband and I don't sleep on the same type of mattress. Their sales reps were all good, friendly, courteous and very helpful. The delivery team was two men and they were excellent. They gave me all the information I needed. But I'm not as happy as I thought I would be with the quality of the product. It doesn't seem to hold its firmness. It's like an air mattress and it doesn't seem like it has the same feel every time. I was given 2 sets of sheets as a gift and both sheets ripped already. For the price of these sheets they should never have ripped already. This product is so unsatisfactory that I needed to go and purchase regular sheets and customize it for my bed. I tried to call customer service but they wouldn't help at all. The last bed you will ever buy? Only because they deplete your bank account. We have had to call them to replace the mattress because it ripped. The sheets are really expensive and last only 6-9 months because they rip at the feet. You can't buy the sheets anywhere else because they are a split top king. We have spend over $700 in sheet over the last 2 years. Hopefully a lawyer can direct me on what I can do to recover the money spent on these sheets. I don't know what to do about the bed, I feel like I was conned by the salesman. He said all these wonderful things about the bed and the sheets. Now I read about issues with mold. When will something happen to make Sleep Number correct these issues?

My husband and I love our Sleep Number bed. This was our second one which we bought when the other one wore out. We went inside their office, looked around, found what we wanted and loved it. We got a new base this time. Our sales rep was nice and was out a lot there. We scheduled the delivery and I liked the crew 'cause they showed us everything like how to operate the bed. The other mattress we had wasn't a Sleep Number and we didn't like it. Their crew hauled it away for me. The Sleep Number was made real good. We also bought pillows which I love. I sort of beat mine up when I go to bed, and then it fluffs up and it's real nice. I'd recommend Sleep Number to a friend.

I got the mattress and the base of my bed from Sleep Number. The store manager was really nice. She step-by-step explained things to me. The delivery crew got the bed together in quick order and explained how the bed and the massage works. The problem I got is it needs electricity and I have to run an extension cord from my bedroom to the bathroom because my outlets are not right. And I didn't realize that it came unplugged. I'm disabled so I have problems plugging everything back in and I've got to get my 17-year old do it for me. I also wish it wasn't so expensive. Because of my discopathia, it's hard for me to get on high and regular type mattresses that I have to climb up to get into. I can sit on the end of my Sleep Number and touch the floor whereas if it was a different mattress, I would have to get a step-stool to get in.

I wanted a harder surface and my partner didn’t want that so the Sleep Number bed was our solution. I like the option of making it soft or hard. Their salesperson from Ann Arbor, Michigan was wonderful. He was exactly the type of person that will treat you like you’re the only one. I enjoyed him immensely and our interaction was low pressure. Their delivery team was good too. It didn’t take very long for them to set up the Sleep Number because everything else was ready for them, they just needed to bring it in and blow it up. I love my Sleep Number bed and I like it much better than my old bed. I’ve not been disappointed with them.

We love our Sleep Number bed (Spit King iLE SleepiQ), the bed frame, the massage, lighting controls, and the remotes. It is not very noisy, when in full body massage mode. The sheets are so easy to put on. We both have back and shoulder issues.

We should have bought the Sleep Number 25 years ago. I have had several back surgeries and in conversation with some of our friends, they both have had some problems and each had a Sleep Number bed. Then we were at a show and Sleep Number was there. My wife plopped down and they gave her a number. Then we went home, sat and thought about it, did a little reading online and then went to the local store. That’s where we got the detail and got the bed based on what my friends had told me.
My interactions with the sales reps weren't great. The place was rather crowded. The sales people were tied up and we kicked tires on our own. And when we finally got somebody to come over and speak with us, it was either this or that price and we made a decision we wanted that price. We liked the split one but I didn’t like being locked into having to get sheets from their company. That was costly, too, so we went with the flat mattress and most of the work we’ve done by ourselves. But the people that the reps were talking to apparently had not done any prior looking into at all and we were, at that point, not rookies.
Then the delivery guys came in, took our existing bed and put the Sleep Number where we asked them to. Right now, the bed is still unique and the quality has not really come into play yet but it does what we were told it should do. My back is not a problem now and I don’t have to worry about when it’s time to go to bed. I also don’t have to think whether there is going to be a bump, lump or depression. It’s really good and I’m 99.9% satisfied. That little one-tenth percent would be if it were a $1,000 less but in the long run, I think it’s well worth it.

I recently had new flooring installed and while moving the bed the connection to the air hose was broken, so air leaked out. When I called to inquire about a replacement pump, I was taken care of in a very courteous and efficient manner.

I went into one of the Sleep Number store over at Easton Mall in Columbus. I got a coupon that took the price down to just about what I paid for a coil mattress. For a little more than $100 more, I was getting a Sleep Number versus the coil mattress that I'd had for years. The sales representative was really nice and not pushy. We had to wait to test out the tester bed. Someone else was using it. But then once we got the chance to lay on it and she adjusted it down, it was awesome.
She didn't frown upon the fact that I only had a certain amount of money and couldn't go with the better option of having the real foundation that comes with it. They just shipped the product to me and I set it up myself. I recommend them all the time to people. For what I thought it was gonna cost, it came out well. I got a really nice bed at a decent price and I sleep way better. I can just put it at the softness I want and lie down, and it's ready.

Have had our bed for 10 yrs. And we're happy with it. However the pump broke on the bed and we can't sleep on it. My husband called customer service to order a new pump. It is now going on two weeks and they still haven't shipped a new pump. Poor service. I'll bet it wouldn't take that long if I bought a new bed. The quality of a good company depends a great deal on how they handle problems. Not a good job, Sleep Number.

We purchased the mattress, base, pillows and bedding. I love the overall quality and I wouldn't have anything but that bed. I can keep my side of the bed hard while my wife keeps her side soft. I came as part of the 360 smiley review I left an educated consumer. I had no idea my bed was so inferior until I felt my body breathe a sigh of relief when I lay down one of yours. Using a proper pillow even further enhanced my comfort I almost fell asleep in the store. I originally came to get a free pillow for reviewing your store. We are now purchasing a bed and a second pillow after the first pillow does arrive. We also want a split bed. Was very excited to find out when my husband gets up it doesn't disturb my side. I thought all beds disturbed the partner period. It was a giant wake-up call. My body need you. The salesman is fantastic. He just educated me, no high pressure just wonderful knowledge. We purchased our first Sleep Number 21 years ago when we finally had a bedroom big enough for a king size bed. It was a wonderful decision that we are now repeating. We looked at other, more traditional beds online before deciding to go back to what we've loved-the Sleep Number bed. We did not buy the top of the line, but in our test at the store, it feels like it will be way better than "old faithful" was. The sales person was professional, easy going, not pushy and very informative. We spent about an hour in the store but got some good information and bought our second great bed. Sure, it would be nice if it cost a tad less, but in our earlier years, we've tried the bargains and sales and we're back buying another bed 3 years later after suffering with it. So this is it! We can't wait until it is set up and ready to use!

This is the worst company I think I've ever had to deal with regarding a product design issue. Who has to repeatedly try to get a mattress issue corrected? The Dual Temp accessory is very poorly designed and Sleep Number doesn't seem to care. There is a foam piece that is an integral part of the covering that is the Dual Temp. This will be my third replacement. Actually, it is the fifth replacement as they sent the wrong size TWICE. I'm convinced since they only want to replace the foam again, that this will continue to happen until the warranty no longer covers a replacement any longer. It makes the bed uncomfortable and I am about to try and forget how much additional it cost us to buy so I can just throw it out! Bad design. Don't get it. I can't speak for the quality of the mattress itself. Just the Dual Temp accessory.

It was time for a new mattress and hearing that those Sleep Number beds are supposedly good made me purchase one. We pretty much did things on our own so it was an easy commission for them. It came in the mail and we set it up ourselves. It was easy to assemble and didn't take a long time. The quality is good but it’s a little pricey. They should lower the price.

I think the bed is mostly comfortable. I still do not get a restful night's sleep, but that is mainly because my husband hates it. He tried various sleep numbers, they sent us an extra bed to raise my side up to match his, he now leaves it at 100.

It's been 1 year since purchasing our now modified CSE bed. I am still having issues getting a good night's sleep in our bed. My wife loves the bed. Sleep Number was very helpful in trying to modify my bed with a couple different top options, which I certainly appreciated. I just seemed to give up on the communications/efforts to try to make it perfect for me, as my wife was very satisfied with what was done to the bed and I figured as long as one of us was happy, I should just leave it alone. I have yet to get a complete night's sleep without getting out of bed and finishing my night in my La-Z-Boy recliner. I do recommend Sleep Number, as one of us enjoys the bed and I was really impressed with Sleep Number's customer service and dedication to trying to make things right. I guess maybe this type of bed is just not for me?

The delivery people did install our bed properly and it has ripped both our mattress cover and sheets. They have been out several times with different ideas what is wrong with the bed. I have taken off work to meet them and I am losing pay and can't do it anymore and they will not do a time that will work for me. If we had known that customer service would be this awful we would have never bought a Sleep Number. Buyers beware, we spent over $9,000.00 dollars and they just don't care. Their set up and delivery department is terrible.

Multiple problems with the bed - from blinking base units to remotes that are dysfunctional to the HUGE wet spot on the bladder that was brown and stinky. All could have been resolved with a visit by a Sleep Number rep. Instead - 6.23 hours on the phone with Customer Service in Minneapolis. Close to 11 calls total with wait times every single call. Even up to the day the bed went back - it was another 26 minutes to speak with someone that could help. The hold times are TOOO long. There should be an option (like the big boys) of leaving a call back number. The sales rep was absolutely a gem. She helped facilitate a lot of the conversation and attempts to resolve issues. We got a "lemon" for sure. Perhaps if customer service would've been easier to work with (and believed our tails of blinking lights and beds that went from 55 to 100 by themselves) we might have kept the bed. Yet the stinky wet stain was the last straw.

I have had the Sleep Number Bed for over six months and it hardly ever works. I'm always climbing under the bed trying to make sure everything is plugged in correctly because my remote says it can't sync with the bed. I tried calling customer service once, but they were incredibly useless and sent me a new remote that won't sync with the bed at all. I was amazed that they would not send someone out to troubleshoot the problems I was having after I spent so much money on the bed.

I had no issues with this purchase except I thought the price was a little high. But when I checked other systems I found that all other systems were priced very high considering that you are not getting all the features that you are getting with the Sleep Number system.

I'm writing in reference to your delivery policy. When I bought my bed I was told that they couldn't give me a certain time and I would need to be available for the day. I cleared my calendar for today, April 15th and was supposed to have the bed delivered between 11 and 3. I was called this morning and told the driver had an emergency and we would need to reschedule. While I understand people have emergencies, I can't understand how a company of your size does not have a back-up plan if people call in sick.
I was then told it would be delivered on Monday during the day, which is not convenient for me. When I was asked if it could be delivered Monday evening I was told no. You would think that since your company cancelled the delivery date, you would try to accommodate your customer as soon as possible. Now I have to wait 2 more weeks for delivery. In this day and age it shouldn't take this long to get a bed especially for the price I am paying. I noticed my credit card was charged in a timely fashion.

We bought our bed 12 years ago. It is the perfect fit with what we each need for the best sleep. I do have a problem with my side. The little piece that attaches the hose to the air chamber broke. My side was going flat. We cannot get that 1 little piece. The rep. offered us a $200 pump purchase but we don't have $200 and the pump works great after all this time. So my husband still enjoys a great bed but I have foam stuffed in my side. I REALLY miss my Sleep Number!!! We got the 7000 Cal King Dual Mattress, pillowtop/wired. Model CM25WX. One of the best purchases we ever made. I recommend to all my friends.

We looked for reviews all over the internet and eventually decided to get Sleep Number. I went in their store, asked a few questions and their rep showed all the options. I walked away with a quote of how much it would cost and then I went and talked to my wife. I went back the next day and purchased the Memory Foam king-size mattress. Their delivery team showed up with a few boxes, put the mattress together very quickly, and were polite and courteous. We love the mattress. They're very good and we're happy with what we got.

I wanted a Sleep Number for elevation because I've got some heart issues, and I can't sleep lying flat. The sales professionals were great and they knew their product. I had my purchases delivered and the delivery team were real courteous. They explained how to use it and they were very good. I've had absolutely no problem with the personnel. Initially, I was really happy with the overall quality of the product. I'm not exactly pleased with it now. I sleep in the same spot all the time and it's sagging there. It's giving in and kind of made a pocket or a dent on the bed and I’ve had it for less than a year. This made me regret the price that I paid for it. I could have gotten one of the other adjustable beds with a plain mattress and the bed is well off. They're somewhat cheaper. In my past experiences, you normally get what you pay for and in this case, I don't think I did. Other than that, it's great but I’m dissatisfied with it.

The store is beautiful, serene and just darn right relaxing. The person that Dept with me was awesome, dry polite professional and wonderfully friendly. I am still in the process of deciding what bed to buy, but I think the Sleep Number bed is worth trying and considering in the choice of beds out there. My only concern is I am a very large woman and it a little out of my price range to buy the thicker versions considering I want the adjustable base as well. People that are large usually prefer a 12 to 14 inch thick mattress. The 9 inch c2 is very reasonable, but I feel the price goes up way too much for a little thicker covering.

Salesman at Sleep Number at 60 S Waukegan Rd B, Deerfield, IL 60015 is a LIAR! We explained that we had a split queen box spring and asked if the base would fit in our old house. He assured us that "it came in pieces" and would fit. We spent $4600 based on that information to buy a mattress and adjustable base. I stayed home today to take delivery of our new bed - which we were excited about! - and it DOESN'T FIT. This wasn't an error. IT WAS A LIE!!!

I’ve had two Sleep Number beds. Just the idea that you could get that adjustability and the different softness made me decide to try the bed. I first bought a dual king but then my husband passed away and I did not like sleeping on that bed ‘cause it’s half a bed. So I gave that to my son and I got myself a queen size. Their sales representatives have been very nice considering I have to talk to them on the phone. I’m legally blind and I can’t drive. So I have to just call and tell them what I want, give them a credit card number. The delivery team was very good too. I tell everybody I like my Sleep Number.

I'm 70 years old and I had cancer of the esophagus. I'm a very big guy, 6' 5” and weighs 270 pounds. I had a bed for over 20 years and I realized that I had to start thinking about those nine hours of the part of the day that I've been ignoring. And it was somewhat on an impulse and that the Sleep Number store I went to happened to be next door to a Starbucks that I frequented. I went in there and bought the bed. It's probably one of my better purchases that had further enhanced and is a vital partnership in my slumber. I've been diagnosed with extreme sleep apnea so with my CPAP machine and this new delightful bed, my life has changed dramatically.
I eventually got the bedding as well because my old sheets kept coming off in the corner and Sleep Number has those supports so that was very positive. The reps were very professional. They fielded all of my questions. I've been in there a couple of times after for follow-up and they've been very helpful. Then the delivery team removed a California king bed, which had been a monster in terms of size and weight. One of the interesting things within my experience, when you have third parties deliver something, they do only that. But these guys took the time and gave me a form of in-service, fielding my questions. I found that to be a very nice way to start the relationship with the bed.
Prior to having Sleep Number, I was not able to sleep more than two to two and half hours in years. I would always wake up and take a bathroom break. But now I'm getting five and six hours with this bed and it’s relatively new, especially with the CPAP. Also, the bed has dramatically changed my outlook on daylight hours. On daylight hours, I get up, I feel much better and more motivated. So far, it's been very good. I use the device for moving the foot and the head a lot. I'm hoping that it will survive. But there's an extended warranty on the mechanical functions of the bed.

When I realized this bed was not for me, I called to schedule a return. I knew I would have to pay for the cost of shipping. They then told me that the frame was not returnable and the cost of the frame was MORE THAN THE BED. I checked my invoice, but of course, the cost of the frame was not listed. Why would they refuse the return of the bed frame but not the bed? Makes absolutely no sense except this is the way to scam people out of money for a product they do not want. I complained but no one cared. The frame is a month old and will not work with my new bed. I am considering bringing a class action for this consumer fraud. Anyone interested in joining the class?

We needed a new bed and my wife said she wanted a Sleep Number especially that she had tried them in the past before we met. We got a Sleep Number mattress and we love it. It has a great quality, which is what we're expecting from the quality standpoint in that bed. The delivery was fine and we got everything we wanted. They just dropped the box and we put it together, which was easy to do. My wife has done it before just the same. Overall, it was a great experience with Sleep Number.

We needed a new mattress and we have seen some advertisements so we decided to go check Sleep Number out. We liked it and so we bought one. The rep at Clearwater Mall was so informative that we got all our questions answered and knew that was what we wanted to do. Also, the delivery team were on time and careful so it has been great. We like our Sleep Number very much. My husband and I were old and it takes care of some of our aches and pains.

We are very unhappy with the customer service of the Sleep Number company. We set up a date for delivery, which we paid for on a $5,600 purchase(!), and my wife was contacted and informed that the delivery would not happen. My wife then tried to set it up for a day she would be available and was told no. I refer you to the part where we said we paid for delivery on a $5,600 purchase. I then called the delivery office requesting delivery on the 12th of April and was told that the 19th was the only day available. I stated that no one was available on the 19th and was informed that was the only day available this month. If the customer service is already this bad with Sleep Number then I do not see it getting better. I hope that I can prevent my friends and family from making the mistake of purchasing your product and having to endure such poor customer service.

We needed a new bed and we wanted to try something different so we decided to purchase Sleep Number. We bought a mattress and a fixed base from them. The sales representative was thorough and told us everything we needed to know. We liked him. He had a good spiel and made us feel comfortable with the whole process. Then we had it home delivered, delivery team was good and fast. They showed me how to work the bed then set it up for us. We like Sleep Number. It's good.

We needed a new mattress and we've been looking at the Sleep Number. The other old style mattresses were the same price approximately but we were able to adjust each side on this one so we decided to try it. We had gone in the store and tested it out, then when we were ready to purchase, we went back. We worked with the same gentleman both times and it worked out good. The delivery team was really good too. The mattress is comfortable and we like it.

Since I bought my Sleep Number bed I sleep more soundly, my back used to hurt a lot in my old bed because it was too hard for me but good for my husband. Now we have the split bed and we can adjust the numbers accordingly. He tosses a lot when he sleeps and he used to wake me up, now he can do whatever he wants on his side and I don't get disturbed. It was a great acquisition.

My sisters both had Sleep Number beds, so we thought we’d try it out. We have three Sleep Number beds and really like them. We just purchased a mattress this time because we put our house bed in our camper. We have a king sized bed in our camper and then we bought a new one for our home. The sales representatives were very good. We bought two of them from the same gentleman actually in Wausau, Wisconsin. He knew we were looking for one, so he called us to say there was a good one going on sale. Then we had the Sleep Number delivered and set them up ourselves. They were pretty easy to assemble. The quality of the mattresses was very good. They also moderate your body temperature like if it’s too hot it cools you.

We needed a new mattress and we've heard good about Sleep Number. We purchased a mattress and just recently, we each got a pillow. Before we had them, I would wake up several times during the night. And since I have this, I can't wait to go to bed. The sales representatives were nice and very good. The only complaint we had was on the people that delivered and set-up our mattress. The one fellow spoke English and the other didn't. They were in a hurry. And they banged the wall a couple of places, if I wasn't there, the light would have fallen over.
We referred friends to Sleep Number who mentioned the concerns that we had before their delivery so it didn't happen to them. But they said we had not made a complaint. And their response at the time was those people don't work out of or underneath them. They come from someplace else. They should be more aware of it in the future when they are sending people out.

My mom and dad had a Sleep Number mattress while I was growing up. Once I had a real job and could afford one, I wanted to make that change to a better quality mattress. I have purchased two different beds over the past few years. I started out with a queen sized mattress and base nine years ago and then last year, my husband and I were looking to upgrade so we went to a king size. I love the quality of the mattress.
The sales reps from Sleep Number were very helpful. I got to test out different types of beds and it helped me make what I felt was the best decision for us as far as which bed to go with. And then the delivery team was professional. They came in, did their work quickly and were out in no time and cleaned up after themselves when they were leaving.

My husband and I are older. He's had cancer and we wanted a bed that's very supportive and that elevates the head and the foot so we went with Sleep Number. It helps a little. We use the headrest and have it at a 30 percent angle. Sometimes, if I put it too high, it has a negative effect. But with adjusting, it's better. The sales rep was great and we had very positive interactions. Also, the delivery guys were quick and professional. However, I wouldn't buy it again. I expected it to relieve all of my physical complaints but it doesn't, no matter how firm or loose I make it.

My husband desired a different firmness of bed and was also complaining that other mattresses are too warm and mold around the body. We bought Stearns and Foster bed and I paid over $3,000 for it. However, my husband didn't like it so I gave it away. My daughter said that all her friends bought the Sleep Number bed and that they really like it. And so I went and bought the king size mattress and the mattress pad as a cooling factor. Their sales rep was a good salesperson. The delivery was good and went very smooth as well. The young man who set it up two years ago was very nice. One thing I noticed is that other mattresses look better in your bedroom. They're thicker and fuller when you put your bedspread on. Other than that, we are happy with our Sleep Number bed and we like it.

From what I heard, Sleep Number beds are really great and I really wanted to try it out, so I then purchased a full-sized C2 mattress. I also got some pillows. My purchasing experience was nice and easy. The guys that helped me buy the mattress had Sleep Number mattresses, too, and they said it was great. Overall, the quality is wonderful. The controllability is very good on the bed. It's a really good product.

My wife was having back trouble and her therapist recommended Sleep Number bed. We had to buy the bed in Grand Rapids and it was very good with the sales representative. We got the bed after a week of purchasing it and the delivery team was right on time and nice. They set up the bed and gave us time to vacuum under where the other bed was. We got the whole Sleep Number package and there has been a big difference since she has been using it. We’re very satisfied and it's been a wonderful experience.

My husband really wanted a Sleep Number bed. All three of my kids have Sleep Number beds and they love them. So, I caved in and bought it. We got the base, the mattress, two sets of sheets, and the dust ruffle. We bought these products at the home show. Everybody was fine. The sales reps were nice and pleasant. and so was the delivery of our orders.
My husband absolutely loves the Sleep Number bed, but I hate it, so it's different strokes for different folks. We've got the split-top and it doesn't lift perfectly straight. I need to call Sleep Number to service it. We've got the moving base where the feet and head go up, and the head goes up independently. It's just one mattress, but it splits halfway down in the center, so the the top is in two pieces while the bottom is one piece. It drives me crazy. Furthermore, the base is mounted, and it's hard to make the bed. I can't tuck those sheets in well and get them snug. I paid a lot of money for this bed and it's way overpriced. I'm sure there are other beds that are more reasonable in price. I bought the Casper for our cottage, and I love it, and it was one-tenth of the cost of what I spent on the Sleep Number bed. Nonetheless, Sleep Number is okay and the bed is nice. Being able to elevate the head and the feet takes the pressure off the back.

I tried a Sleep Number in Duluth and I was impressed with it. I have arthritis in my neck crawling almost to the center of my back so I got a Sleep Number C2 queen mattress and the base. The sales rep was very good and showed me everything. The delivery guy hauled the bed right into the house and set all the boxes and everything in the house for me. It's nice and durable but it's not as good as I thought it was going to be. Whatever setting I set it at, I simply cannot get comfortable on it and it doesn't help what I wanted it for. I would recommend it but it's not for me.

I'm thoroughly disgusted. A dog eats one of the pads from your mattress, the vet calls you to find out what chemicals are in the pad in order to properly treat a dying animal and you refuse to give up the information because it's "proprietary"? Animals lives are more important than propriety. Low and loose, will be discouraging anyone I can from buying your products from now on.

Me & my wife bought this bed with the motor for your feet/head to go up. Before we purchased the bed we asked the associate "If we were not happy with the bed, can we get a full refund?" He said, "YES YOU HAVE 100 DAYS TO TRY IT AND IF YOU'RE NOT SATISFIED WITH THE BED WE WILL GIVE YOU YOUR $2800.00 BACK!" This was very important to us because I am disabled and on Social Security and the money we used to purchase the bed was all the money we had to our name. My wife called Sleep Number to return the bed and the rude person we spoke to said they would only refund $847.00 back to us and they won't refund us for the remote control and the lift. I was in 2 car accidents by 2 drunk drivers on both occasions. I had to have back surgery because my back is very bad so I must have a good bed for support and the bed isn't doing it.
When we told the gentleman that we needed all our money back so we can buy a bed we found he said, "Let's get real, why would we want the pump back?" That sales associate talked us into buying the motor because if we didn't buy it when we bought the best it would cost us $2500.00 to add it on later. We asked the gentleman to transfer my wife to a supervisor and he hung up on us! It is Saturday, April 8, 2017. Come Monday morning I will be contacting the PA Attorney General to see if he can help along with my personal attorney! This company can not get away with their lies and must be held accountable! DON'T BUY NOTHING FROM THEM, GO TO BOB'S FURNITURE AND SAVE THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS! Can someone PLEASE help us, I am totally disabled and on Social Security and Food Stamps, all I want is my money back to buy the bed I need.

Overpriced, unreliable, awful customer service. Getting support is a nightmare marathon. I feel like an idiot for paying this much for this product. Spent two unproductive hours trying to get help because the head of the bed will not raise or lower. Was told I had to call another company and then the online rep terminated the session and deleted the info about what no. to call before I could write it down. Grrr. Terrible product/no support.

It took me three years to convince my wife to buy one of these beds. When she finally gave in I was beyond excited. After spending $8,134.00 on the bed (more than most of the cars I've owned) the bed was delivered last Thursday. As I sit here today typing this I haven't slept in 48 hours. It feels like I'm trying to sleep on a cheap air mattress that you would buy at Walmart for $20. The sales rep at the store told us that if we weren't satisfied in the first 30 days we could return the bed for a full refund less $199 for a restocking fee. That was a lie. I just spent 90 minutes on the phone with customer service and they said we are stuck with the $3000 base.
To make things worse they can't pick up the bed for nearly a month. Strange that it takes them 4 days to delivery but 30 for a return. All in all don't buy this bed. It's a waste of money and on the off chance you're not happy Sleep Number can care less about you. They already have your money so they just screw you. These beds are horrible and the company is a scam - BUYER BEWARE. DO NOT BUY THIS BED!!!

I bought a Sleep Number bed for myself in 2004 and then my husband was suffering from acid reflux and he‘s handicapped so last year, we bought the second one with the head that comes up for him. All in all, we have two Sleep Number beds and we’ve always liked them. I knew what I wanted when I went to buy the bed. I went in and started talking to the salesman and he was very helpful and walked me through what the beds did, their sizes and comfort levels. We had a concern about the height of the second one that we bought for my husband because he’s in a wheelchair. It has to be the same height as his wheelchair for him to transfer. The man helped me with that. He was also very helpful in setting up the delivery. The delivery guys were neat and plain and took everything away, and I didn’t have any clean-up after they left. They did a great job.
