    My mom and a couple of my other relatives had Sleep Number beds and were happy. My husband and I both had back troubles so we thought Sleep Number was the way to go. The sales reps were very nice. I could call them almost a specialist. They knew how to speak the numbers and say what encourage you. The way the rep talked, we thought that we were going to get the one that split in the middle so that we could each have the different heights and stuff. At the time, we even discussed what we thought why we needed it and she did not say, “No, you're not going to be able to do that," or anything like that. When we got it, that wasn't what it is. There was a higher model that we could have done that, but we didn't.

    It was poor advertising and we aren't really happy. The way they advertised and did it sounded like it was going to be something, and it's not. It was false information given. They were more interested in selling than they were on helping us. We can adjust it to go up to sit up, but both of them go up at the same time. My husband likes it to be higher because he lies on his back, and I lie on my stomach. So when I lie on my stomach and it's up, that doesn't feel so good. We've been satisfied with the quality of the bed except for my husband. It really hasn't helped him any as far as his back is concerned, no matter what we think they did for an adjustment. The bed holds good though. The delivery was fine, too. They were there when they said they were going to be. They were very courteous.

    I’m not happy with my experience with the sales reps at Sleep Number. Either they were poorly educated on the actual warranty or they purposely lied. When we went in, we were just going to buy the mattress and try different frames for it. The rep told us that if we did that, our 20-year warranty would not be in effect so we had to buy the frame, the legs, the mattress bed cover, all of that stuff. We bought an extra $800 worth of stuff to have this warranty and then when we had a problem, it wasn’t any good. We found out that it’s not a 100% warranty. They don’t come out and fix it for you when something goes wrong. You have to sit there and do it yourself, and your warranty is reduced every year. And once we realized what we bought when I had to pull it apart, I was pretty mad. I realized it's basically an air mattress in the middle of a foam square that cost me $2,000. I won’t be buying another one just because of the warranty on it and I wouldn’t recommend Sleep Number to anybody.

We think it's important for all of our customers to know that our core mattress line comes with a 25 year limited warranty for manufacturer's defects. The first 2 years are covered at 100% and after that it is prorated. Year 3 starts out at 72% and it goes down by 4% every year after.

    We also strive to make our beds easier to service, should our owners have any troubles, which is why your warranty provides coverage for replacements due to manufacturer defects, but doesn't include a technician. We can do troubleshooting right over the phone or online and get a solution on its way to your home often in less time than it would take for a technician to come out to your home and report back to us.

    I was extremely excited to purchase this Sleep Number i7 360 smart bed which was supposed to be an upgrade from my traditional coil mattress. Delivery and set up went very well and they were very nice. We started sleeping in the bed that night using our recommended sleep numbers but we were waking up in extreme pain every morning for the past 7 days. We tried adjusting the sleep numbers to find a more comfortable fit but that did not work either. The company recommends sleeping in this bed for 30 nights so your body has time to adjust... but how long must we go through the pain that is getting worse each night.

    I was told that my body is not used to sleeping correctly so that is why I am experiencing the pain but I disagree. Both me and my husband do an hour of yoga each morning and for both of us to be experiencing this type of pain is absurd to continue to sleep on the bed. My husband stopped sleeping on the bed last night because the pain is interfering with his job and I continue to sleep in it because I paid $4000 for the bed. I just tried calling to return the bed but was rudely told that I have to sleep in the bed for 30 nights because my body will correct itself even though it is getting worse every day. With the amount of yoga that we do daily our bodies are correct!

    The 100 night return should actually state that you must keep the bed for 30 days not recommend it. I can not afford to keep sleeping in this bed and I certainly can not afford another bed until I return this one. Shame on you sleep number for pretending to think you know everything because even my MD told me to return it but you do not care. I can not wait for what I am going to be told after 30 days when I call to return the bed AGAIN. I will not recommend this bed to anyone because of their poor customer service... and the sales reps failed to mention that the return will be at MY expense... BUYER BEWARE.

    My hips have suffered bad, so when I get up in the morning, I couldn't walk. When I purchased a Sleep Number bed, I can recline my feet and hips a bit. It appears, though, that sometimes the top part of the mattress is shifting to my side of the bed where I always sleep on. Other than that, Sleep Number is the way to go. It was money well spent and I’m very satisfied with it. In addition, the sales reps were really nice and I had a wonderful experience working with them. The home delivery was fine as well.

    We had seen the Sleep Number bed advertised on TV and decided to buy one. It's the one that lifts up and we also got the sheets. Their sales reps and delivery team were pretty good. This bed is a good product but now, all we could think about was the one that we can get to raise half a bed up at a time. We'd rather have that. But since we already purchased this, we couldn't afford to buy another one.

    I had back problems before and my friend referred Sleep Number and said that it was great. The sales rep helped us get a good deal and everything that he told us ended up being true. We accidentally had it delivered to the wrong place but it was delivered there very promptly. The quality is top-notch and it was the best bed that I’ve ever slept on.     We got tired of the bed we had so we thought we'd give Sleep Number a try. The sales reps were great and very helpful. The delivery team was also good, on time and showed us how to use the bed. We've been using it for a year now and we have our times with it. We have to adjust it every once in a while since it seems to lose its firmness and then we have to go back up.

    These people are a scam, they sell air mattresses with a remote control. I called several times they never let me return the mattress, they kept sending ** mattress that could not get my mom comfortable. By the time I was so upset that I return the mattress they did not let me to return the base. Be careful with these people. They are way overprice and the customer support suck. They are scam!!!

    My wife and I recently bought an i10 360 dumb bed with Sleep Number IQ! Thus far we have had NO IQ service because it's DOWN for service!!! Must be old but NO wait we have to download the Sleep Number IQ app on our smartphone! I have a flip phone. So I download the app on my Wife's smartphone. Now I have to open my sleep number IQ account/order number! Well the only order number I have is my sales receipt and what happens? That does not work! We are having fun now!!!

    We have 2 remotes that DON'T come with the bed! You have to pay $39.00 plus tax if you want to be able to control your bed like all of the other Sleep Number beds that COME with remotes. I'm told that we are suppose to use our PHONE to control our bed! So if we wake up in the middle of the night and want to lift the head of the bed we need to WAKE UP so we can turn on our smartphone and find the sleep number APP and open it so we can control our BED!!!

    WE have NO idea whose BRIGHT IDEA that was but that's how they want us to do it! I have to wait until the company opens to find out how to access our account! MORE fun!!! And since we got the bed we are constantly getting error messages and have to push a button on the side of the bed to try and reset the bed. Over and over, and not the same error every time. And this bed is called a 360 SMART BED? With SLEEP IQ? And if that's not important the 100 day trial COST everyone $179.99 for delivery and if you don't want to buy the bed It cost another $179.99 for them to pick it up!!! Basically you have to BUY the bed and in the contract it says somewhere that this is what you are agreeing to!

    So if you don't want the bed for whatever reason it COST you $360.00 to try out the bed. Well $359.98 to be exact. We are getting a different model today as I have undergone several spinal surgeries so we changed to a split top Cal king. It just happened to be the labor day week sale that we ASKED the salesperson before we bought our bed if there was going to be a sale in 2 weeks and we’re told that the prices at that time would be the price so we bought our bed. We’ll come to find out that when I called to change our Cal king to a split top that they not only were on sale but they were also waiving the $179.99 delivery fee. Well since I called and they were on sale my upgrade was an extra $108.00 (BUT) since we had bought our bed before the sale that was NOT going to change any price we were NOT eligible for the $179.99 Delivery fee to be deducted from our original purchase price.

    I tried to argue my case with BILL, a supervisor and was only able to get the upgraded bed at the sale price that wasn't going to happen as we were told! Even after letting BILL know that we bought our bed with FALSE information we basically got SCREWED out of $179.99 that everyone else bot during the sale. And the reason that BILL gave me was since we bought our bed before the sale and I just happened to call during the sale to ask to switch to the split top that by the way you are only able to do 1 TIME during your 100 day trial period and after you get the bed your trial period stops and you own the bed which sounds fair. I just was not able to get BILL to budge. So I took what discount that I was given and called it a try!!!

    BILL did refund the cost of the remotes that I told him that we were never told that we had to pay for the 1 that we were told came with the bed, and I told the salesperson that they needed to through in or I would not buy the $7,000.00+ dollar bed. Well we were told that a second remote would be a part of the deal FREE of charge only to find out after we bought our bed and we got an email with the final broken down cost that we were charged for BOTH remotes.

    Hell, I started looking to see if we had to pay extra for the PLUG to plug it in!!! Thus far it's been one phone call after another and I just can't wait for the next surprise! So at this point I'm counting on the installers to help me set up the sleep IQ part so we can use it. This review is solely about our experience thus far! I will update this review at another time HOPEFULLY with Better News. One last thing I have to call this morning to try and find out what our final Order Number is as at this time I just don't know!

    Updated on September 10, 2017: Well here's a update on our Sleep Number I10 360 Smart bed with SleepIQ! We got our new bed on Wednesday at about 3:00 PM and the exchange was Excellent. The Delivery men were very Quick to do their job! (NICE JOB.) BUT after they were done with the install the younger Gentleman TRIED to get our Sleep IQ to work on My Wife's Apple i7 and My Samsung S5! I felt really Bad for him as he did everything he could to get it to work but with NO luck. So he called in for support and spent over a hour More of his time working with The support department that handles these issues and it was after 5:00 PM that I told him we needed to call it a try as I was Hurting very much and needed to Lay down. He must have installed and uninstalled the (APP) 20 times at that point.

    He said that Sleep Number would give me a call the next day on Thursday and what happened that Day? NO call! Friday NO call! It's Saturday night about 10:30 PM and here I am writing this Update! One other thing: the sheets are a JOKE. My Wife and I made the bed and the split set of Sheets look Horrible. Good thing there's a top sheet to cover them up! That being said The Bed Is Excellent. It is a joy to sleep on. I just wish everything else was close to that! NOW I have to call again as I have been e-mailed a NEW Receipt that has Jumped up to over 10K??? I'm figuring that this is just one more thing that needs to be brought to their attention and Who Knows what else. I have been Requested to make contact with The Company and will do so. So I will see just how things go this next week as I have Dr Appointments 4 days in a row But I will have a update for you after things get Resolved! If that's possible.

    I've had a Sleep Number since '96 and I bought it because of Paul Harvey. He was advertising on the radio when I worked in the airport. It also had free shipping and a 90-day money-back guarantee. You can't get them on the other beds because they can't resell used mattresses. I like the Sleep Number bed even though it doesn't offer any type of relief for the pain on my side. Shingles permanently damaged my nerves and I have had after shingle pain for seven and a half years, which is horrible. I'm 72 and I'm in agony all the time unless I drug myself. I scream when the medicine wears off.

    I had one of the first Sleep Number beds that didn't have a meter on to tell how much air was in it. I had it hard and it popped after 19 years. I got a new one and I also found their pillows but they were the hardest things to find. I got another Sleep Comfort bed for my wife and she was sleeping nicely on it until popped. I got her another one downstairs and it's the one that tilts up, down and sideways. She can't sleep in anything else.

    I previously bought a mattress from Sleep Number but unfortunately I lost it in my force. On my last purchase, I bought the entire Sleep Number setup. I loved the quality the first time and I still love it now. It was a good and pleasant experience at the showroom. When it was delivered, I got a couple of boxes one day and then I got the rest of the boxes the following day. The size of the boxes was a lot bigger than I expected but putting together the bed was simple. I'm extremely happy. Sleep Number is little pricey but it's a great bed and you can adjust it to your needs and however you want it.

    My son had a Sleep Number base model. He told us about it so I went in and looked. My wife has some medical issues specifically with her back so I wanted something that would help her. Also, I had been having problems sleeping on the mattress that I had. When we went in there, we were able to adjust the bed and it worked for me. When we started seeing all the different features they had, we figured it would work out for both of us to get something like that. We got a pretty expensive one. We also bought the pillow and some of their high-end sheets.

    I had a good experience with the sales staff. I spent about an hour with her going through all the others and the different ones to find one that was right for us. She was knowledgeable and helpful. The bed was delivered here and the delivery team set it up. They were good. They came and put it where we wanted it. We already had a king sized bed so they were pretty accommodating about being able to still use that frame and working with us to modify it and then get the Sleep Number inside that frame.

    So far, the quality of the bed is good. We’ve had it a little over a year and I really like it. My wife could sleep on it. The biggest thing for her is the fact that it can recline. It’s a good purchase. My son went back after that and because I bought one, he got something that was a little bit cheaper. They beds are pricey but if you like them, they’re worth it. I talk about it to people, too. It’s a bed that we’ll keep for a long time. It met a lot of different needs. It's also a bed that I can sleep in and be comfortable, and then my wife has her own side with its unique settings so we can still be in the same bed but it works for both of us.

    I've had a Sleep Number bed for several years, and it wore itself out so we decided to upgrade. We enjoyed the Sleep Number, so we stayed with it. We had a very good interaction with their reps. One salesperson was very informative and took his time with us, showed us a number of different products, and helped us select the one that we were most comfortable with. Then it was delivered to us and their delivery team was excellent. They came in and set it up where we wanted it to. They were very careful not to damage anything as they brought it through the house. In terms of quality, it was good as expected. However, my wife thought the pillow top and the memory foam inside could be a little softer. They tend to lose its performance, so something that was more resilient that they use in the topper would be great.

    I contacted your chat, I followed their directions to the T. I asked for a service person knowing what the cost was going to be and they tried to talk me out of it. Then they say my wifi is having a problem. It’s a brand new wifi and computer. I am still having problems. In fact a new one has just started. The remote control has lost the duo temp setting. Then I get instruction totally different than chat which I tried and I really don't think someone knows what they are doing.

    I bought 1 Select Comfort years ago. Loved it. Bought another when I had to relocate to a different city and my husband kept the original. Then the split king was on sale due to a store closure so I decided to upgrade and we put the original one in the guest room. After a bad health problem the split king was a terrific help. I have a Codman shunt in my brain and the ability to set the comfort level of the bed helps a great deal. I have recommended Sleep Number many times. I don't understand how folks will buy fancy cars that they spend 8 hours a week in and not spend on a bed that they spend 8 hours a day in.

    I had a friend who had a Sleep Number bed. I had the occasion to sleep on it for a few nights and I loved it. I wanted one for myself. I went into the store and didn't know what mattress I wanted. All I knew was I wanted the one that my friend had. The sales person was able to look into my friend's account to see what mattress he had. So we were able to direct me to that. She's been great. She sorted the whole thing with the financing and told me that the sheets were on sale. There were special pillows as well, so I ended up with the pillows, too. I got the whole deal. The delivery team did their job so quickly. They got here and in no time they had my bed set up. They showed me the remote and how that worked and asked if I had any question.

    I've discovered with the regular mattress that I can slip it and turn it around so it doesn't start sagging in one area, but I've discovered I can't do that with the Sleep Number bed. I'm the only person who sleeps in the bed and on my side, and it looks like it's starting to sag a little bit. I'm a little concerned about that. Plus, the very first set of sheets that I bought, expensive as they are, they gathered in the corners after a few washings. And I washed according to the directions like I can't wash them with fabric softener, wash them with cold water, etc. I knew that from my friend because he had those sheets too.

    Also, I didn't know my Sleep Number and I had to go back into the store to get it. I didn't get that when I initially purchased the bed. I wish I had done that because I thought I'd be able to figure it out on my own but I didn't. It's not something like a trial and error. One needs to go in there and let them do those little computerized things. But once I got it, it's perfect. I never have backaches anymore now that I have my Sleep Number. I absolutely love my Sleep Number bed. It's wonderful and comfortable. I'm trying to figure how I can get my bed into the guest room and get a king-size Sleep Number bed out once I get a bigger house. I would definitely recommend them. In fact, I'm trying to get my husband sold on the bed.

    My fiancé had a Sleep Number before which was an old style with only one air chamber. We decided to get another Sleep Number mattress that had two different chambers. The sales professionals were good and knowledgeable. We did a lot of our own research then showed up at the store and bought the mattress. Then it was delivered as a package. I would have liked the next model up but what Sleep Number got doesn't justify the huge price jump. So we bought our own topper for the mattress and everything worked well.

    My Sleep Number bed has been working great and I’m happy with it. I've had numerous surgeries on my back. So purchasing a Sleep Number bed sounded like a good investment. A friend of mine with a bad back recommended these and I know it's expensive but trust me, it's worth it. Compared to your normal bed, you can actually sit on the Sleep Number bed and prop yourself up making it feel your bones cracking your back as you elevate your head.

    The sales was very nice but I don't think she was as educated as I would have expected with her. She didn't know some questions here and there but it worked out for me and the bed's fine. But I couldn't ask for a better service from the two delivery guys that came out. Very, very good two young men. They told me everything, what I should do and also to inflate the bed when not using it. I would recommend them. The bed is very comfortable. Much easier to get in and out of bed at times. So overall it has helped me.

    I talked to my wife about getting a Sleep Number bed for a couple of years. But we're in Lancaster where there's no store and we had to go to Columbus to get one. When we finally got up there, we looked at the bed, tried it out, we liked it, and we bought it. Their sales representatives were great. They let us take our time and choose the mattress that we wanted and tried to help us out in any way they could. Their delivery guys were great as well. They were on time and cleaned up after. We have an adjustable base from another bed and we used it for the Sleep Number that we got. It's a good bed and I was amazed to see it come in a little box. But it doesn't have very thick padding like the next model or two up. It's the least expensive one and I should have went for the next one up.

    We needed a new mattress as I was having backaches. Numerous friends and relatives spoke highly of Sleep Number. I did some research following that and then we looked into it. The interactions with the sales professionals were excellent. We’re not even that frequent shoppers and they know our names and wave when we walk past them in the mall. They were not over selling. They didn’t start at the most expensive. By our description, they got what we needed. They guided us to the beds and moved through them to let the beds sell themselves. We purchased the bed including three pillows and they're outstanding. The products we bought were home delivered and set up. The delivery team was fast, efficient, and they cleaned up.

    We had one pillow exchanged and Sleep Number gave us the pillow that we needed. The quality of the Sleep Number is crazy. We love to go on vacation and wish we could take our bed with us.     We had seen Sleep Number's advertisement on TV. We went in and tried out different mattresses. And then we got a $12,000 Split King with remote on both sides. We were very happy with Sleep Number's representatives. The first time we went in, we had a young lady and she was very nice. We went back again a few hours later and as we stayed there, they were helping us and talking to us about everything that's within the mattress. It took a little while for me to get the right adjustment on the bed. Based on the rep’s reading, the average setting is around 90 to 91, but I have a restless leg and I probably average 70 to 74. When people ask us about our Sleep Number, we always tell them we are satisfied with it. It helped us to achieve better and nicer sleep than we were experiencing before. I'd been on a Queen-size bed prior to that and going to the King was really kind of nice. We're used to it now.

    My husband wanted a Sleep Number. We had a therapeutic before that and I absolutely loved it, but he didn't. It was wonderful at the Sleep Number store. However, when they brought my bed, the control box didn’t work and I had to wait three weeks before they could come and replace that. That did not make me happy. The reason was that the installers had to come out of Omaha. I bought the bed in Sioux Falls. We have a Sleep Number store in Sioux City. I am about halfway between Sioux Falls and Sioux City but the installer had to come from Omaha, which had to be 50 miles from here.

    I'm still adjusting things. A night before last, I softened the bed a bit more. Now, I'm not sure if it's too soft. I'm still trying to decide but it's nice to be able to change things. I change the softness or hardness if I get tired or too sore. I really like the zero gravity. It raises up the feet and the head, so that you're in a very comfortable position. It's a very relaxing position to be in. That's usually the way I go to sleep and stay asleep for several hours. I absolutely have no problems with the quality or the mechanism too. I like the sheets, at least the second set. The first set I got was Lyocell and I didn’t like those. They are very, very wrinkly and they do not straighten out. They are too soft and don't have any body at all. They're like sleeping in a clothes basket or dirty clothes. It always felt dirty to me. These cotton sheets, however, feel nice and crisp and they're much better. On my recommendation, my sister and her husband bought a Sleep Number bed.

    My husband has back problems and I would also wake up and have arm pain. We had tried to get some other mattresses and it didn’t seem like it helped or they just broke down real fast. We went into the store in Colerain, Ohio, and we talked to a Sleep Number salesperson. He was very helpful. We had stopped there another time and it seemed like the guy didn’t know anything. But the other guy who helped us was very knowledgeable and he wasn’t pushy at all. That's what I liked.

    I get it that somebody’s around and they are there to answer your questions but when they know that you’re just looking and need to take your time, they stand back. He was really good about saying, “Hey, you guys take your time. If you have any questions, I’m right over here.” Then he came over and asked if there was anything he can help us with or did we still need time. We’d ask him the questions but then he’d say, “Let me give you some more time.” With the Sleep Number bed however, it’s like you’re in a hole once in a while so then my husband will raise it. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend Sleep Number to a friend. I would have really liked to have gone with something adjustable but the pricing was way too expensive.

    I liked the fact that I can adjust the firmness of my Sleep Number mattress. This is my second Sleep Number product and I've had them since 2010. The only thing that I wasn't happy with was the delivery of the bed. We had made a delivery for a certain date. I was moving and they said they would hold it in the warehouse to be delivered on another day. And then I called back a couple of days later to confirm and they said, “We can’t do that.” So we ended up having to cancel the order and waited until we moved in to the apartment. Also, when you go into the general stores at the mall, I don't think that their salespeople are quite as knowledgeable as the people you deal with when you order the bed online. Nevertheless, Sleep Number's quality is wonderful. I wouldn’t purchase anything else.

    I've had a Sleep Number in my home for the last couple of years. I like it and I sleep a lot more comfortably. The first time my purchase was delivered, the people just dropped it off on the deck and left it there. I wasn’t too happy with that because if I weren’t home, somebody would’ve had a free bed. I told the store about it but nothing was done. I bought from them a second bed, one for myself and one for my roommate. Their sales professionals were great and they really helped me out. I had the bed delivered again and the same thing happened again where they left it on the deck. They didn’t let us know that it was being delivered or that it was out there. It was pretty disturbing.

    They should let the customer know that they'd be delivering the unit. If the customer is disabled, like in my case, they should bring it in the house. I spent over $2000 on the bed, they could at least had the courtesy to help. I also didn't like the payments. My payments were really good one time then all of a sudden, they jacked it up. I'm still paying my first bed and when I bought the second one, they added a $300 finance charge and boosted my payments up to over $70 a month. I asked them if it was going to be like that every month and they told me no, but it has been. They also won't explain to me why. They just tell me that that's the way it is. And if you don't pay, they come and get your unit. I would recommend the product but not the service.

    Sleep Number i8 and FlexFit3 adjustable base - We loved the i8 upon first experiencing it in the store because it was so comfortable and looked as though the fabrics and finishes were higher quality than the others. And because it has a cooling layer. We kept shopping around, trying other high end mattress manufacturers, but ultimately decided to buy the i8. We are waiting to take delivery so it's not in our home yet, but we are confident we made a great (but expensive) purchase.

My only issue right now is I have the adjustable and the bed sits inside a frame so it's very difficult to move. It’s heavy and I'm trying to figure out a way to paint the room.     Our Sleep Number bed is about 13 years old and so we got another one. And we really like its quality. Our most recent purchase from them was some sheets. Our experience with the sales reps has been fine but it’s not all that good, at first, with the delivery guys. First of all, they showed up and had to borrow tools from me. It was not a big deal but just irritated me as being unprofessional. Second, they installed the headboard wrong. I couldn't figure out why I couldn't do something and then I realized that the way they installed it, there was a bar blocking the bed from rising. They were back within three days from when I called and they fixed it. I’ve been a happy customer of Sleep Number for about 15 years now and have recommended Sleep Number to a couple of friends.

One guy was new, so the other guy jumped in and he was very knowledgeable. But they were both good. We got one of the limited editions called the iLE. We got a Split King with the adjustable base. We also got sheets and covers. The products are very expensive but they're great. Also, the delivery crew was fast. They demonstrated how to use the bed and completely cleaned up. We were impressed with them. I would definitely recommend Sleep Number.

    Visited your Boca Raton store at the Town Center Mall on Memorial Day weekend and ordered a King Size P6 (and base, two pillows, cooling mattress cover and a sheet set) to be delivered and set up at our home in Weston, FL. Delivery date came and driver showed up right on time. Items scheduled for UPS delivery were delivered on time. So far so good. Assembly team notified us that the wrong parts were sent but they could still build the bed (they sent foam dividers for the split bed that has sides that can go up and down... not what we ordered). OK... Stuff happens.

    The driver called their supervisor and a new date was scheduled for them to return WITH the correct foam parts to install. Again, they came on time as scheduled... but no parts. They asked US for the parts. Huh? So we called the customer service line and waited on hold for 30 minutes before a customer service rep picked up our call. We were told at that time that we had to order the part(s) and then schedule the repair visit but they would handle it. After more than 20 minutes of trying to explain which parts were missing/incorrect, the replacement order was made... we thought.

    So we followed up in two weeks regarding the replacement parts order (missing center foam bar between the two bladders and the header foam piece that goes behind the bladders at the top of the bed where your head goes at the end of the mattress) and again waited on hold for just under 30 minutes before an agent answered the call. The order was entered into the system but was never "placed". Again... "Huh???" So the representative assured us that this time the order was "sent" and (shocking!) both parts are back-ordered for 30 days. We would be contacted via e-mail when the parts were sent.

    After two weeks, I decided to contact customer service via the online chat option this time. Someone was available right away. Unfortunately they could give no information regarding the backordered foam pieces and told us that we would receive an e-mail when they were shipped. OK... Well, it's only been two weeks so I'll follow up in two more. Fast forward two more weeks... Went to the online chat... still seeing a 30 day backorder!! So that's now 60 days plus two weeks from the time we ordered the bed?? For two foam pieces?? Alright... it is what it is.

    But the customer service rep (on the chat) heard my pleas and offered to reorder the parts in an effort to rush things along. What happened next is crazy... He puts in another order (that first order still showed on his computer as never being sent even after the second call into the live support line person said they made sure it WAS sent) and cancels the first one. We received an e-mail a few days later that two items were shipped!! FINALLY!! Well, not exactly... we received the center foam support that was not correct with the delivery of the bed. We ALSO received a king sized foam topper AND two foam side rails for a king sized bed. Not even CLOSE to what we ordered.

    We took apart the bed and looked at YOUR instructions online AND your YouTube video for assembling the bed (P6). What we found is that the crew that came to the house to deliver the bed didn't even set it up correctly. The layering (bladders, foam layers... was backwards... or upside down). No wonder it didn't feel like the one in the store! So we fixed that and replaced the center foam wall with the correct one and added the new foam topper (which we didn't order) and now the bed feels like the one in the store. We decided to just leave the split foam head rail piece as opposed to banging our heads against the wall in trying to get the correct one but I thought you should be aware of the horrific product fulfillment experience we've had with you.

    The bed is awesome... we've been on an adjustable air mattress for 15 years (not yours... Comfortaire's) and their customer service is what yours should be. So I have zero complaints about the bed or quality of sleep which is what I paid you for. But the road to get (almost) there has been the stuff of TV sitcom's and you should be ashamed. I work in retail and have for 32 years. I know the cost of real property in shopping malls so I have a good idea how much you're spending on your stores. Add in the TV advertising and it's not a small number. It's time to devote some of that money into delivering competent customer service on the back end after you swipe the credit card.

    If I had done my homework and read the eye-popping number of poor reviews not dissimilar to mine regarding your fulfillment process and sheer incompetence with customer service, I never would have set foot in your store. Summary... GREAT product... HORRIFIC road to get there and would not recommend to anyone for the price paid.

Not knowing the cost, we had no idea that the price she quoted was double the cost it should have been.     I bought a Sleep Number P5 bed a few months ago. We were surprised with how expensive the bed was but there was no obligation to keep it as long as we returned it within 100 nights. My wife and I had high hopes for this bed and we never considered that after a few months we would be desperate to replace the bed with something else.

    We were advised to try different settings until a sweet spot could be identified for comfortable sleeping. We never found this sweet spot unfortunately and the sleep just kept getting worse until I called to return the bed a second time. Here is the surprise, the mattress is returnable but not the BASE part of the bed and the BASE accounts for half of the cost. I would expect that when you are shopping for this bed that a loud warning would be helpful to prospective customer that this return warranty only applies to the mattress.

    Now we are stuck with a nearly multi thousand dollar base that was designed for this mattress. The customer service representative says that the base works with any mattress but I've learned that this is not true. BUYER BEWARE and I did not! Be careful when you sign several documents that you think are financing terms... Buried in the documents is a provision that the BASE is not returnable.

    We rushed in and bought this bed late one night (the store had been closed for more than an hour by the time we walked out). We ended up buying the BASE not understanding it was not returnable and several hundred dollars in sheets, pillows, and covers that were supposedly required for the bed to be returnable. I would recommend that you stay away from this bed and company because when you are unhappy with it, you will end up regretting the purchase!

    We bought the top of the line, California King after we went to the store and were shown our pressure points and figured out what our # should be. My husband has a very bad back and shoulder so this bed was primarily for him. About 5 months into having the bed (way past the 100 days), that is when things got worse. My husband's back is worse, and he has developed hip issues. We worked with our store and no setting works. I now have lower back problems and shoulder pain I didn't have before. We have been told we are past our 100 days to return it, but health issues like this don't show up until you are past the 100-day timeframe. AND, having the split mattress inhibits any type of TV watching cuddle time. We are miserable and hate the bed so very much. But lucky us, we are stuck paying for it even though we will be moving it into the garage to get it out of our sights.

    This company does NOT stand behind their product, if it ends up not being a good fit, it's pretty much "too bad". If the bed was as good as they claim, they should have at least a year warranty. We will be buying another bed, we have no choice, but it will be a Serta or brand that not only stands behind their product, but a bed that won't make us feel like we are 100 years old because we can't stand up straight or walk.

    What a HORRIBLE company to do business with! Not only does this company incorrectly send items, under warranty, when it comes time to correct THEIR error, they LIE! I was told that since "they", Sleep Number customer service my order would be shipped expedited, meaning within 2-3 days. Now, 4 days later I am told that "expedited" means that they only took 2 days to send the item from their warehouse, not the usual 3 to 5 days and that was with a "supervisor" approving expedited shipping.

    So now, it will be well over 2 weeks before I get my replacement pump (this is the second one to go out in less than 10 years) while all the time they have my money and I'm left with a bed that doesn't properly inflate/deflate. AVOID THIS COMPANY! The warranty is next to worthless and their customer service philosophy is to lie to their customers and do nothing to make matters right! This will be the LAST time I even consider Sleep Number and I hope those of you that read this will avoid them too!

    I've had a Sleep Number bed since they first came out. I have very bad experiences with regular mattresses because they already have lumps or dents within a week, so I always had a Sleep Number bed of some kind. On my latest purchase, their sales professionals were good but they got my order wrong. I'm living with the bed though and I'm fine.

    But the store experience afterwards when I went to get accessories was unbelievably awful. Their register process took too long and I was dealing with everyone there to get everything in. I went in one of their stores to try pillows. I settled on one and the reps don't know if they have any of it or they have one but they're not sure if they can sell it to me in the store. They also told me they have to mail it to me because it would affect their inventory. And this happened at a couple of stores. When my sister and I went on a store on the weekend because we wanted sheets, they told us they can’t sell us the ones we chose because they’ll be on sale next weekend and it will mess up their inventory.

    Then it takes forever to check out, especially with a coupon. I have a coupon booklet and it said not to cut the coupon out of the little book. When I tried to use it, the guy at the Sleep Number’s store said it's got to have a code and he couldn't find my coupon. My sister also took a coupon which didn't have any dates on it, but the store man said they can't let her use that until the following week. Also, the store is marked on sale, but they're not on sale.

    I like the bed itself but the quality is not as good as it used to be because the bed kept sliding off or ripping to those holes. Plus, the remote sucks. Anytime I'm ready to go to bed, the damn thing won't communicate. I'm dead tired and I have to get under the bed and reset everything. When I called them about it, the troubleshooters on the phone were excellent. I repair things so I know when someone is reading a script and they don't. I told a rep that the thing is possessed and that when I tried to change my ear number, all of a sudden it starts going down to 0. She had me do a bunch of things, including resetting to the flat base, but a week later, the remote is doing the same thing. She also took notes and put it on my account. As for my sister, all the buttons on the middle row of her remote are dead, but if I change the batteries and shake it a little bit, it works.

    I would recommend the Sleep Number bed to anyone, though I'd advise against getting all the bells and whistles with a fancy remote. A regular remote will do because my old bed had the wired remote. I would tell anyone, especially anyone overweight, not to waste their money on a regular mattress that they have to slip and twist because it's only going to be good for six months. They need a higher mattress.

    I bought and paid for my Sleep Number bed on 8/8/2017 and they said that it would not be delivered and installed for 2 weeks. The delivery person called on 8/22/2017 and set the bed up that morning while I was downstairs. He yelled down and said that it was all set. He was trying to show me how to operate the bed with his tablet, but could not make it work. He asked me if they showed me how to use the remote in the store and I said yes. He then gathered up his tools while I tried to operate the bed with the remote and it came up with an error message "1040 call customer service". I then called the installer's phone because he was still in my driveway, but he drove away. I continued to call him for 15 minutes when he finally called back and acted like he did not recognize my phone number that he called me on earlier.

    I told him to come back because the bed was not working, but he would not return. I called customer service and they tried to troubleshoot for over an hour and finally she said that she would have to send someone out to service the bed! BUT NOT FOR 9 MORE DAYS! Service set for 8/31/2017. I then went to the store where I purchased the bed and Michael the store manager said that the remote must be broken and kindly gave me another remote. I got home and walked through the installation process, but the bed still does not work. I can lay on it, but I could do the same thing on my old bed. I want to return the bed, but they said the $2700 base is non-refundable. I am going to return the other $4000 worth of the bed and try to sell the base on craigslist for $500-$1000. I'll just take the loss and move on.

    We had a Sleep Number in our motor home before and we recently bought a P6 mattress. We use the base we had from our previous mattress and we're enjoying the bed. With a Sleep Number bed, each of us could have our own settings. The salesman in the Sleep Number store was helpful and we had a good experience with him. But we're not happy with the quality of the temperature balancing sheets that we got. They peeled up so I reported that and Sleep Number sent us another set. But the price on those sheets is not worth it when their quality fails like that.

    I bought a queen size Sleep Number bed for the first time 15 years ago. I was having some back issues and I heard the Sleep Number bed was supposed to relieve it. But at first, I woke up with a back pain. Then I got 2 double beds for our other bedroom and another one for our place in Phoenix. I bought the first one by calling in and they sent it to us. Then the other two were bought up at the store in Plymouth, Minnesota then we had one shipped to our place in Phoenix, Arizona. I like using Sleep Number but if I'd get out of bed and my wife's still in bed, it makes a cracking noise. The first time I had an issue like that, they sent us a new one but it still made noise.     We believed that we have to have Sleep Number so we got their mattress. We've had it for a year now and it's better than the last mattress that we had. We sleep well on it but it's not comfortable. It has a hump in the middle and we have it on 90 on each side and it will not stay on 90. It will sink on my wife's side and it will sink on my side.     Sleep Number's sales rep reached out to me after I bought the blanket to see how I liked it. I told them that it wasn't like the one in the store. It didn't feel soft. They sent me the mattress topper and it's like sleeping on clouds. I love the mattress topper, but the only complaint that I have is that it’s five inches too short and about three inches not wide enough. Even when the bed's made with the comforter on top of it, I can still see the imprints of where the mattress topper is not big enough. I’m curious as to why they don’t make the mattresses with the topper built in. I’m just surprised at that. But I'm happy with its overall quality. The only change that I would want is for the mattress topper to be in the mattress itself so it wouldn’t slide.

    I was having some back trouble so my husband and I started doing some shopping. I tend to do a lot of research before I make large purchases so we tried out several beds and styles. We landed on a Sleep Number bed because of its reputation and we have the ability to change the setting over time for my back as my needs change and each one of us could have it set according to how we like the mattress. Also, I want to sleep well, get up feeling better and I also like the fact that there’s longevity to these beds over buying a coil bed. I could spend $2,500 on a coil bed and replace it in 10 years or less whereas this one might last me 20 years.

    Our salesman was great, knowledgeable, friendly, decent and he took the time to work with us. We were there for an hour laying on different beds over and over again but we didn't feel rushed. Then, the delivery team came in, explained what they were doing and they were quick. They also cleaned up after and even hauled off our mattress. I really like the sheets we bought because they have a little tab on them that tell me the corner so you know all sides, the short end on the short end and the long end on the long end instead of flipping that thing around all the time. I also like it has the extra strap that keeps the sheets more securely on. We love their products. We stayed in a cabin last weekend where we had to sleep in a different bed and we couldn’t wait to get back home and get in our bed. I’m going to be a customer for life.

    Sleep Number bed users need read the terms and conditions for using their app. I recently upgraded my bed to a 360 and when the delivery team connected to my wifi, my passwords were already present and could be seen by the delivery team. Secondly, I took the time to read the terms and conditions and was shocked at the information they are collecting and who they share it with. This is quite disturbing as they now have access to my entire network to include cameras, thermostats, lights, and my computers. I believe their policy should be changed to have to ask for permission and require a password before they updated firmware and collect any sleep habits.

The mattress was shipped, then I put it together. The only problem I've had is with the remote. It acted like the batteries were dead. I put new batteries in it and it reboots but fails, then it will just go to some other screen telling me to call a service professional. I can't get the bed to inflate every morning when I get up.     I was tired of the old bed and wanted to try something different. The Sleep Number salesperson had great customer service. She explained everything and answered any questions we had.     Our Sleep Number that we've had for about 10 years is still holding up fine. We were looking for multiple control so we could adjust from this one to different sides. The sales reps from the Sleep Number store that we bought it were good at describing each of the products and steered us towards what they thought was gonna be the right one. Then they delivered it to my office and I took it home. One of us is happy with it, but the other one of us doesn't sleep very well on it. The softness on the top is not good enough and the bedding itself is too hard. The firmness is fine when you put it to a good firmness number, but the mattress that we have doesn't have enough cushioning in it. We've tried a few different things with it but we haven't really been able to solve that problem.

    I was pregnant with Twins Dec 2016 Due Feb 2017. I was sold an i8 Bed almost 9k. Upon receipt and set up of bed I truly did not feel like the store model. I was later told they add more foam in-between and I was sent more foam. I was also upsold the expensive split sheets and "waterproof" mattress protector. Now I have OCD and I was super clear that if it is not water proof I will buy my own as I am having twins and if I spill happens I need waterproof. I was reassured and triple assured it is water proof.

    When I called in because a bottle spilled and in fact it is NOT water proof I was told by a supervisor it's not "SOAK" proof not water proof but my sales lady mislead me and so did the packaging - sorry. If I needed the mattress stained top replaced due to staining and smelling it would void my warranty and needed to be ripped - also I was told they do not state waterproof in stores. So last night I went into another store just to see the sales method and of course I was told it is water proof.

    Besides the point that the 2 sets of sheets I paid for never made it to my house and they said I had to call the police dept - I did and Sleep Number's shipping info never validated it even made it to my house. It showed returned... If I had purchased on a regular Credit card I would have disputed but since it was their card I was unable to and still paying for it.

    I feel that the whole process is a sham. Once I found out the bed needed more foam and was within their 30 day return policy I said maybe I would return it and I was again astounded that they can take the top back but the really expensive bottom that lifts the bed and makes this thing appealing is through another company and non refundable - yet when you are in the store you're told, "Don't worry just take it home and if you don't like it in 30 days return it." This is such a sham!

    Sleep Number charged us for our bed on 7/29 and was to deliver on 8/18. At 4:23 pm on 8/17 (which we didn't get until close 6 pm), we get an email and then a voice mail indicating our bed was not going to be delivered and it will be a week late. I called customer service to find out what is going on. Customer service sends me over to home delivery who also doesn't know why our order is late except they don't have it in inventory and no idea why only now we are now being told about the delay.

    In the meantime, my wife is in transit to the place to be there for the delivery which will now be a wasted trip unless I can reach her. So the agent offers to let me chat with a manager. 25 minutes later, I'm still on hold. I'm going to hold for 5 more minutes and then I'm hanging up. Bottom line: I can't recommend this company at this point. If they have 45 minute hold times for customer service (which is what it just told me), then they must have issues. We are going to call the store and if not a good response, we may just cancel this 5K order.

    I like my bed more firm, but my wife likes hers softer and the bed we bought before was too soft for me. I'd wake up and roll out hurting so bad and I didn’t sleep good in it either. I had another bed that was much firmer and we actually slept in separate rooms. So, we finally decided that we would try a Sleep Number bed. We've had it for at least a year now and I've been sleeping much better. I don’t hurt nearly as bad and I can adjust it. Mine is set up at 75 and my wife is at 35. My wife is 5’2” about 120 pounds and I'm 6’3” and about 275, so that's a huge difference, and at least my wife and I are sleeping the same room now.

    You always take a chance on buying a bed because you can't really tell by lying on something for five minutes. Just like buying a new car, you drive it for 5 or 10 miles and you think you love everything about it, and then when you have to spend 30 minutes or an hour in it, the seats are killing you or something hurts or it's very uncomfortable. It's hard to figure that out in just a short time and the bed is a lot of money. We were at the Arrowhead store and the lady who helped us was very professional. I didn’t feel pressured into doing anything, which I prefer. The delivery team was amazing too. One of the guys has been with them for a long time. They put everything together and were pretty quick. They did a great job.

    My biggest disappointment is the money we spent on the sleep IQ. If I had to do it over again I could use that money for a lot of other things, maybe new sheets or blankets. Also, I had some friends that bought the bed and they had talked to us about ours but we didn't ever get any credit and it's too much hassle to go back and try to get them to do that. It's an expensive bed but I've got some friends who have had their Select Comfort for 12 years before they had to replace the motor or the mattress so I'm hoping we're going to get at least that long out of ours. You just hope it's that good when you spend that kind of money. So far, I'm very happy with our Sleep Number and we're enjoying it.

    I have had a Sleep Number bed for 15 years and loved it but it was time to order a new one. I needed the bed before the surgery I was having. The day of the delivery there was a no show, no call, no nothing. We called and we're told that there had been a problem with the truck. I asked if that was their only 1 truck and she rudely replied the driver could have been in an accident which, to me, seemed like her only concern. When I started to ask about the delivery and why I wasn't notified the representative didn't know. I was given a delivery date 3 weeks out. When I started to question that she just laid down the phone and went away. She never even hung up. Weeks later I received an e-mail from a new department head who was going to clean up the department so I could be assured this would never happen again.

    Well as luck would have the bed was not performing the way it should so I was scheduled for an exchange today August 16 between 4 - 7:30. This was confirmed twice this week alone. Well guess what. At 5:30 I get a call that says there is a routing problem and we couldn't have the bed for another week. I asked what a routing problem was exactly and of course she had no idea. For the price of the bed they offer you would think they would have some decent customer service behind it. There seems to be no training for the representatives and the delivery people don't seem to have any connection to the company. So here goes another failed business in America...

    I have a pretty bad lower back and I'm trying to avoid surgery. We ended up going to a local home show in the spring in Pittsburg and the Sleep Number sales rep was very informative. We tried them all out and ended up thinking I got the one that I needed the best. Then, they brought it in, set everything up and sent it to my iPhone. Everything went quick and smooth. We've got the split so we can raise either side or the feet and everything is pretty well. It's very nice and I'm happy with it.

    But there are other items we would probably buy but the cost is not worth it to me. My dad would roll in his grave knowing what I spent for this bed and it's a shame what they charge us because of the split mattress. When you're spending that much for their bed, they've got you in a spot because no one else can give them any competition. I'm in business and I know how that works but it is what it is and we made it work.

    We bought a Sleep Number mattress awhile back and since then, my husband and I can actually sleep. It’s a lot more comfortable for both of us. We are both still happy with our mattress. I recently needed new sheets, so I bought the temperature regulating ones from Sleep Number. They’re super overpriced, but sheets are sheets. Most of their sales professionals had been great. The only time we had an issue was when we moved and we had to have it put back together.

    They scheduled us for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving and then informed us that they couldn’t come out and do it. That was already two weeks after we had moved. So, we had to wait another week and a half for them to come back out. They went to the house that we moved from instead of the house that we moved to. So, we have to wait for another week and then they got out there and do it. The people that actually came out and finally did it were great though. They seemed very nice. Overall, we would totally and we still recommend it to everybody.

    Somebody else had a Sleep Number bed and loved it. I am older, I have pains and the Sleep Number bed helps that I’m able to lower the pressure. I got the mattress that allows me to raise my legs or my head. I also got sheets, two pillows and pillow case covers. The young fellow I bought it from wasn’t that knowledgeable but he was very nice and helpful. The older fellow there wasn't that eager to help anybody because it wasn’t his sale, which was not a good thing, but I did what I had to do.

    Then the delivery was so fast like slam-bam-thank-you-ma’am. I wanted to make sure the bed was level but the guy didn't do anything. Even now, one side of the bed seems to be higher than the other. I’m elderly so I really can’t get down on the floor and adjust it. Other than that, I'm very happy with the bed and I like it. But whatever the material is on the top has knotted up in several different places. It’s not a smooth surface where I can sleep on it and be comfortable so I was thinking of speaking to them about getting that changed. They might also want to give the remote a cover that would protect it because if I drop it, the whole thing falls apart and it’s very difficult to put back together. It should give a warning if the battery is dying, too. A couple of times I had to get up in the middle of the night to go down and get batteries.

    My king size P5 bed with adjustable base was delivered mid-November. I only slept on one side. After 7 months I switched sides to wear the bed evenly. The pump didn't work. A new pump was delivered and installed. The repair person said the air chamber might be bad. I gave it a week and sure enough I need a new air chamber. Customer service has not sent out the new part and they want $179.99 for a repair person. I paid delivery and set up and I didn't get a bed that works. Warranty chart says 0-2 years old NO charge to customer. They want to mail the parts and have me fix the bed. I've had over 25 surgeries and can't fix the bed - this is why I have a $6,200+ bed. I told customer service I have 4 Select Comfort/Sleep Number beds. This is my first problem with a bed. I've been a customer for 18 years.

    The quality of the product has gone down and customer service stinks. I contacted the store I purchased the bed at and explained the situation. I have buyer protection with my credit card and said send someone to fix the bed or take it back. Steve is the store manager and I believe he's trying to work with me, but the decision isn't his. The repair guys probably cost $30/hour with wages, benefits, business insurance, payroll taxes, etc. I don't know why they need $179.99 when I already paid it.     My side air chamber started a slow leak. It took several hours on hold to get a representative to answer. The part was ordered and we were told it would take 3-5 days to receive it. 10 days later we call and were told the part was back ordered and they had no idea when it would be shipped.     My husband and I have gone through a lot of mattresses over the years because we have very different comfort levels. We went to a home and garden show and tried out Sleep Number. It has a 100-day sleep on it where if you don't like it, you can send it back. But I don't like that we had to buy the mattress cover to get the warranty. The cover was $250 and it wasn't cheap. So it was a little bit of false marketing. But the delivery men were very good. They gave us some helpful tips that we probably wouldn't have read on the manual like turning it up to 100 every few months or so to make sure that it's working properly and that it fully inflates. Also, the quality of the bed was very good.

    I got Sleep Number’s whole base with the bed where the head raises up. However, we don’t use that feature and I'll never buy another one. I don’t think their bed is comfortable and they are way too expensive. Then when I get the bed all made up, it's not flat across like normal beds. It's got a depression on each side where we lay. The quality might be okay but I just don't care for it. If somebody would ask me about it, I would just tell them what I thought and they could do what they wanted to do.

    I purchased a king size adjustable sleep number in December for $10,000 under the premise that we would have the best sleep ever. It was delivered in January 2017, by May 2017 our blue foam had deteriorated, ripped, dry rotted, making it impossible for my husband or myself to sleep on it. June 4th I called the customer service number and was told the blue foam insert was on backorder, it is now August 21st and we are still unable to sleep on our bed.     I tried some Sleep Number beds at the store because I didn’t like the mattress I was sleeping on. I found the Sleep Numbers to be comfortable so I bought one. The lady that sold it to me was very nice and the men that came to deliver it were very helpful, fast and didn’t put me out. I was very happy about it. I just went with the mattress because I did not want to get rid of my bed. It's a bit larger than the twin, had drawers on both sides and the Sleep Number just latched in there nicely.

    I sleep on the bed every night, have a good night's sleep on it and I never want to get up in the morning. My two cats sleep on it too and they love it. I also find it warming. When I get in the Sleep Number, I snuggle down and have a cloth over me like a bedspread. Once in sheet, I warm up immediately and that’s one of the things I like about it. I also like to play with the thing putting it up and down. I'm at 50 and that’s very comfortable for me. I like the bed and I wouldn't want to swap it for anything else at the moment. I'm 86 and I hope that it lasts me until I die. I live with my daughter and her husband and they’ll probably keep it to guests when I die.

    I have a really bad back so I thought that I needed a new mattress. The sales professionals at Sleep Number were good and the lady gave me some demonstrations on the other beds so it was really good. She really convinced me that it’s what I wanted to try and the delivery team was great. Also, the bed has been pretty good but it's getting rounded. None of us sit on the edge of the bed very often to get in and out because I don't want the side to fall down but it's getting like somebody has sat on the side a whole lot. But being able to adjust the bed helps a lot with the fusions in my neck and lower back.

    My husband and I purchased a 360 bed which was delivered last week. 2 major problems occurred. After sleeping restlessly on it one night I was nauseous the entire next day from the horrible plastic, petroleum industrial smell the mattress emitted. This is an odor that will not go away over time, and even if it did, the time spent on it would be unbearable. The second biggest problem was when my 6'2" husband adjusted his side of the head of the bed upright, his feet hung over the bed. Many other more minor complaints, such as the motor for everything is quite loud, the bed is hard to make, oh and forget using a bed skirt. The guys that delivered our bed told me they'd have to cut my new silk bed skirt because once it was on it would remain.

    I thought okay, but then they said they'd have to cut it down the middle entirely then asked if I had scissors! Thank goodness I didn't let them do it. The very next morning we called our salesman with very valid complaints and asked if we could set up a day to have it picked up. Well, it turns out we signed an agreement not only to keep the bed for 30 days but to keep the base of the bed forever. It's nonreturnable and non refundable. This stand can only be used with Sleep Number beds, and costs over $6,000.00!!! We were sick.

    I ended up on the phone all day finally reaching the corporate office. The best deal possible in returning this bed is to pay them over $1,200 to have it removed and disposed of as they cannot by law resell a bed. That's a heck of a policy Sleep Number. And by the way the smell of the bed I learned from the corporate office actually is called "off gassing." ANYONE BUYING THIS BED NEEDS TO READ THIS BEFORE BUYING...

    My family purchased from Sleep Number and they were telling me how nice and comfortable their products were. When I purchased the mattress, the sales reps took me to a few different models of mattresses. We pressed it on and then they got a Sleep Number. We went to three or four different models and adjusted the number and found the one that was the most comfortable for me. I’m 100% sold on the Sleep Number mattress. I sleep a lot better now and based on how my body feels, I can always up or down the pressure. So if I’m feeling I need it firmer, I can do that. My old mattress couldn’t do that so, it’s a benefit.

    I recommended Sleep Number to anybody who ever asks me about it. There are a couple of people up at work that I told about the Sleep Number mattress and one of them actually went out and purchase one. Now, they’re sold on it and they’re bragging about it.     The salespeople were very nice, professional and informative. We went to the store and they had a demonstration. They went through all the steps and when you lay on the bed, you can see the simulation on the TV of how your back and your body is being supported or not supported so that was very impressive. We got the Sleep Number mattress and the box spring. However, I think the bed at the demonstration was a king, but we bought a queen and I don't feel you get the benefit of his side and her side in the queen because you're too close.

    I think queen to king makes a very big difference, not in the room that you have, but in the difference of you setting the bed the way you want it compared to your partner, who's right next to you. My husband likes the bed softer than I do and I find that if I go anywhere near him at all, I roll into him because his bed is softer. If it were a king, I feel that wouldn't happen. It's also possible that the concept of the cylinders don't work as well when you're in closer proximity. My husband loves the bed but I wouldn't purchase another one. It wasn't what I thought I was going to have and I'm disappointed in the performance.

    The woman at the Sleep Number store when I purchased the first bed was great. She explained a lot of stuff to me and that really made me buy the first time. I bought three Sleep Number beds. At first I bought a queen which had a recliner thing and another for a friend of mine. Then I bought a king and gave the queen I first bought to my roommate. I’m using the king now and it’s beautiful. It's adjustable and it maintains the firmness of whatever setting I have. I never had a problem with it deflating. It's just so comfortable and I wake up refreshed in the morning. I love my bed and there’s no negative involved even on the delivery and the support. The only thing is it's too expensive and I wish they'd knock the price down a bit especially on the accessories. But it is what it is and you pay for quality.

    I had the bed, a couple of pillows, cooling pad and pillow case covers that I bought from Sleep Number delivered to our home and it was an excellent experience. They were great and the sales professional was good. But we weren’t thrilled with the cooling pad as it does not cool and the only reason you'd purchase it would be for comfort. The pillow case covers are cooling covers too and it’s the same thing. We wouldn't do that again. We'd just buy something at the store instead of spending the money for that. The SleepIQ technology was also not necessary and it was a couple of extra hundred dollars. But we're very happy with the bed and we would definitely buy another one.     We bought the Sleep Number 8 Series last March 2016 and the sales professionals at Sleep Number were good. We were having some issues with comfortability and so we called the customer service people and they immediately sent out a kit that you put inside the mattress to make it better. The whole experience is phenomenal. They’re great people to work with.

    I also had a fantastic experience with the delivery team. The two guys who came here put their booties on before they walked in the door and they explained everything they were doing. They were very careful of the walls and anything around it. They set the bed up and showed us how to work the SleepIQ. It was a great experience and it ought to be for $8000. I didn’t plan on spending that amount on a bed but my wife was being on it and she has had some back issues. We’ve really enjoyed our bed and we had no issues or problems with its quality.     We needed a new bed and we've heard good things about Sleep Number. I like my bed firm and my husband likes his soft, so we thought that the Sleep Number would be the way to go. We bought two of them and we also bought sheets, pillowcases, four pillows, and a whole bunch of stuff. We got the beds last year and I like them. But my husband does not laud them. He doesn't like that there's a gap between the two sides and they keep moving and pull apart easily.     I've had both of my knees and both of my hips replaced. When I asked the orthopedic surgeons what kind of mattress I should get to sleep on, they said that it doesn't matter. But it really does because I needed a soft adjustable mattress. I had the inner spring then the foam but only the Sleep Number mattress was wonderful and I can adjust to not create pressure on my hips. So, more orthopedists should recommend it. I bought a simple twin mattress a couple of years ago. I called the store, told them what I wanted and I had it sent right out. It's quick. Then it came in a box and I love the quality of the product. I'm rehabilitating my house in the spring and when I get ready for furniture, I'm gonna buy a bigger Sleep Number for my bedroom.     Originally, we bought a Sleep Number bed back in 2005 because I was having back problems. But the bed's chambers had sprung a leak on both sides, so we had to do a replacement. In our experience with Sleep Number recently, the sales reps were great every time I called and talked with them. I set up our new Sleep Number bed myself and it was very easy to put together. In the beginning, we moved around a lot and sometimes the plastic components broke, and Sleep Number mailed the components to us for free. I absolutely love our new Sleep Number bed and I wouldn’t sleep on anything else.

    I highly do NOT recommend wasting your money on a Sleep Number bed. My husband and I got one in hopes that we would sleep better because he has back problems and moves a lot, so we needed a bed that had the comfort as well as the no movement. We were scammed. These are bonafide air mattresses that do not change the comfort level at all, plus we could feel all movement as before. The bed does not do as advertised and we tried two different types as well a pillow topper... What a waste. We refuse to pay for the bed and they refuse to take responsibility that they scammed us into thinking this product was a great fit. Well it was not, we have both lost sleep because of it and no longer sleep on it, it's in storage being eaten by bugs now.

    The 8 inch memory foam we had before was much, much better and cost 160 bucks. I highly recommend that and we got it at Walmart. I believe Sleep Number should reimburse us for the money we wasted the few months we did pay for it as it wasn't what they claimed it would be. I have convinced multiple friends and family members from wasting their time and money and I will continue to do so. Want an air mattress? They sell them at Walmart for 50 to 100 bucks guys. Throw it on top of your mattress at home... That's what sleep number does but charges 3,000 up to 4500... Ridiculous.

    My dad and his wife had a Sleep Number and I wanted to get a really good bed. We were getting our tax return soon and I wanted to do this for my wife. There are multiple models of the Sleep Number bed and I wanted the standard one where you can change the number for your comfort so that it's either firm or squishy. I wanted the temperature control too but that would cost an additional almost two grand, which was completely outrageous.

    My wife and I went to the store the first time and they had a good sale going on. I told the lady, one of the managers or an ASM, what we were interested in and she gave us some prices on the different models. But the lady rep couldn’t give us the bed at the sale price. She was very dismissive toward me, but focused her attention on my wife and was nice and sweet to her, which was rude and annoying.

    About three weeks after, my tax return came in and I had enough money to buy the most expensive model they had. I could even pay two grand for the temperature control, but I wasn’t going to do it on principle. I went back to the store with a good friend who’s like my little brother. The lady rep was very rude and condescending. I was very unhappy and bummed out because I had my heart set on the Sleep Number. I had the money on me and my buddy with me in case I’d have to take anything home then. But the lady rep said, "No, it will all be delivered," and I said okay.

    It was borderline unprofessional how condescending the lady rep was being. This was a clear-cut case of her being judgmental towards me. She treated me like some schmo off the street who could barely scrape the pennies together to get one of her fabulous beds. She was being so annoying that I straight up left the store. My buddy and I drove down the road 10 minutes away to a Mattress Firm store. They had some beds there that were nice and looked awesome, and the salesman was giving me some good deals, but he was a slimeball and the numbers on the beds couldn’t be adjusted for comfort.

    The Sleep Number lady ended up calling me and said she had talked to her manager who let her give me the Sleep Number bed for the sale price. I was pleased and my buddy and I went back, purchased the bed, and had them do the delivery. There were two different delivery options available. They could deliver and set up the bed as well as remove our old mattress for a nominal fee of about 180, but I opted to pay 80 bucks for them to only deliver all the parts, and I wish I had chosen the other option.

    The initial delivery came a few days later than what was quoted to me. I pulled my old mattresses out, took my old frame down, and had them all sitting outside. I then set up everything that came in the boxes. But the legs, frame, and skirt were all that came, so I had to disassemble everything, go back outside and have my buddy help me bring in my old mattresses. It was at least five business days later before everything else showed up and I was not happy with that. But I had my buddy help me set up the bed and everything was good.

    When I got the bed, I told the guys in my band and various friends that the bed is amazing and I highly recommend it, but that they should pay the extra 100 bucks and get the other delivery option where the Sleep Number people would deliver, set the bed up, and haul their old stuff away. Everything on the bed has been sound. I even got the extra legs to get it to be taller. The bed is awesome and it has been wonderful and very comfortable.

    I'm a Sleep Number customer. I have a fairly new Sleep Number mattress that I bought about a year and half ago. Recently my mattress has been leaking air. I called customer service. They told me I had to try out on my own to assess the issue. In the end it is a problem of air chamber. It has been 5 days and I still have not received the air chamber and I still don't have a good bed to sleep on at night. Why you cannot stuff parts at a local store that the customers can go and buy themselves, especially if they have to replace the parts themselves anyway?

    The money spent on our top of the line x12, Sleep Number bed was worth every dollar. The bed has resolved numerous of our sleeping complaints and was a great investment. Snoring, just as depicted in the Sleep Number commercial, push a button to raise your partner’s head and the snoring stops. After decades of back pain, I rarely wake up in the middle of the night from pain and usually wake up pain free in the morning. My husband had started to experience back pain in the last year or so and since we bought the x12, he has been pain free also. We both wake up feeling like we have a better quality of sleep and are happy with the purchase with one exception. We hate the divide between the flex top split in the bed. Sleep Number has sent someone out to try to address the problem but it continues to be an issue. The customer service has been outstanding but the service has been a problem, we have had service technicians out three times.

    We were having problems with our back and with the mattress we had. I heard that you can adjust the Sleep Number bed up and down and change the firmness or softness as well. I got the one with the packaged one that they had there in the store. They delivered the bed and put it together here but I don't think that the bed I got was the same bed that I got on there in the store. The difference in the softness of the mattress is entirely different and my and my wife's back still get sore with this mattress no matter where we adjust it and no matter how high we go up and down. When I bought it, they had me and my wife lie on the bed and they told her 35 for her and 45 for myself but that didn't work at all. I went down the store and they gave me a number to call. But when I got done, I was still no better off than I was before. Their bed stinks and I wouldn't tell anybody to go with them.

    Problem from day one. 24 hours after install the pump goes out. Slept in guest bedroom for 3 days waiting on a new pump. The new pump always loses connection to WiFi. We bought the split type mattress, sucks very bad. Not happy, so we call within a week to return it, and they tell us to "Try the solid bed" and if we don't like it is 100% refundable. Wrong, we hated it too (took almost a month to get it) and called to return it, but I didn't read the print. The base is non-refundable so we just ate $2700. And after several calls and attempts to explain this nightmare, they said "It's your base." They are within their right not to give us a refund, but I'm within mine to review this on every website I can find and warn others. Beware guys, beware.

We purchased a top king previously and it's basically two separate twins, so we decided to get two queens. We’ve had their products since 2007 and they’re good. But the cell that fills up and inflates should be smaller. Also, there’s a memory foam that conforms to the body and I’m feeling a lot better with it. She says she feels like she's wrapped up in a cocoon and hot all night. She's got it set low and when she doesn't do that, she says she thinks she's sleeping on a rock. I just called the Sleep Number in Buford yesterday because it's gotten to where when you roll from one side to the other, it feels like you've fallen off a cliff on the one side.     I called today and spoke at length with Jill; our 1st time needing customer service since 2000 when we bought our classic queen bed during our 1st year of marriage with wedding present money (we slept on a borrowed bed in temporary student housing when we started out). Recently, one chamber began losing air and we couldn't figure out where we pin-pricked it for a patch job. Jill looked up the part for me without original receipt and product information. She was so patient, so helpful, and so tickled to hear of our love story with our mattress.

We tell friends (whether they also move frequently or not) that this is the bed of all beds. Why Select Comfort doesn't market to the nomadic community is beyond me.     We have one California King Sleep Number at home and I get the best sleep in that bed because its foam is bar none the best bed. I travel for work a lot so I’m in nice hotel rooms all over the country but there's nothing better than our primary bed at home. We spent a fortune on that old bed and opted to buy a second one for another location. But we were very disappointed to find that the original high-end model that we bought 5 years ago is no longer made. So we had to buy another model and when we leave town to go to this other place, we have the new bed set up and it’s not the same. It's only 70% as good as our old one.

    We have an ongoing problem with the new bed as one of its bladders is leaking. It’s a slow leak that started six months in and we tried everything to fix it. We changed the lines and the pump until we finally got to the bladder, which was replaced with a new one. But the new bladder is also leaking so I sent it back to Sleep Number. Their sales professionals did a great job. While I had to push on and beat them up a little bit for them to send me a bladder, it didn't matter. They have emailed to tell me they have resolved the issue and I appreciated their patience. They stand behind their order even if it’s a year and a half later if they see the bed lose the air. Overall, I love everything about Sleep Number. I was satisfied and I’d absolutely recommend it to a friend. When my kids move out and get married, they will get a new Sleep Number as wedding gifts from me. It’s the best bed money could buy.

    My original Sleep Number bed was wonderful. It lasted approximately 6 years, give or take a couple years. I was totally satisfied with the product. When it failed I contacted Sleep Number and paid a fraction of my original cost for a replacement mattress. Upon arrival, the replacement mattress was a different mattress, however trusting the product, I was satisfied and decided to keep it. This mattress lasted approximately three weeks. It totally failed. I again contacted Sleep Number explaining I had run the complete gambit for troubleshooting without any hope remaining for this replacement mattress. Now, having informed Sleep Number of the above, I was assured the matter was taken care of and another mattress would be sent.

    One week later, checking my mailbox, I find a small envelope containing two valve caps. How interesting! This did not look like a new mattress! But wait, Should I add these to the four valve caps I already have!!! Checking the small envelope again, I assured myself there was definitely no mattress! With the above in mind, to the Sleep Number organization I send condolences. Any time trust is lost it constitutes a death to the relationship. I brushed a tear from my eye as I threw the mattress in the recycle bin for the trash men. Rest in peace poor Sleep Number Mattress. As some say, I suppose this was your time, or perhaps your number was up.

    We slept on a water bed before and we bought our first Sleep Number. We fell in love with it and had the bed for seven years. Then we got another one and it's been with us for two years now. It's the mattress with legs that go up and down. The sales reps were beautiful people, but they didn’t give a veteran’s discount so I was a little disappointed. Even a 5% discount would have been nice and would have made me buy quicker, but I bought the bed anyhow. The delivery team set up everything so I couldn't ask for better people. He said that the warranty was up so I probably ought to contact customer service but he didn't think it was going to do any good. But I still would love to try because it's getting worse and worse to sleep on it. Besides, it's really an expensive product. We got a king size base model for our guest room and I sleep in there a lot because my side of the bed is so bad. And the other thing is, they upsold us on a Sleep IQ thing which was silly. It says, "Range your night sleep." My husband's in technology so he got all excited about it but that's just a waste of money.

    I've been a Sleep Number customer for about 12 years, and I’ve had a lot of Sleep Number products. I'm on my third bed which is an i8. I also have body pillows and pillows and sheet that I got from them. I love the quality of the products that I've purchased. I’m a massage therapist, and I recommend the beds and everything to my clients when they’re in the idea of shopping or looking for beds. Additionally, I’ve been very pleased with everything that their sales reps has helped me with. They’ve been informative.     A couple of my other family had a Sleep Number and they recommended them to us and that helped us decide. We tried theirs out and then we liked it. It was our first Sleep Number and we’ve had ours for two years. The sales professional we spoke with did a good job. I liked her. We bought a P6 and UPS dropped it off for us. We like that you can set the air to a certain preference on each side and it makes you feel nice and comfortable. Sleep Number is perfect and I recommended it to my son, who bought one this week.

    Sadly we bought the most expensive Split King with every bell and whistle after our house fire... And we both despise it! Heck, one of the mechanicals stopped working entirely in under a year. We called as the paperwork said & we spent 4 hours with a non-English speaking (extremely difficult to understand or communicate with) rep who just had us unplug and re-plug the cord repeatedly. Then they declared they could do nothing & to look up the manufacturer of the mechanism and see if they could help.

    And that's not even why we despise the bed the most... Haven't slept in the stupid thing that gets a huge crater in the middle - stinks for cuddling or snuggling (which after 15 years of marriage I am NOT giving up). Essentially we paid over $6k to sleep on over priced uncomfortable Twin mattresses! Worst mistake of our lives. We will be buying a new bed and mattress shortly & it will NOT be a Sleep Number.

    My brother-in-law had a Sleep Number bed and spoke highly of it. Over the years, I had unsatisfactory experiences with regular mattresses and even high-end ones, so I was willing to take a shot with Sleep Number. The cost was the only issue because my family was in the furniture business, so I know the cost of the products, but the cost is what it is with the marketing demand. Everything was professional and very cordial with the sales reps and I had a good experience all the way around, even with the ease of financing and purchase. We got the whole i8 kit — mattress and frame. The guys who came and set this up were quick and clean, and the delivery was a great experience as well all the way through.

    I like the bed's ability to set different sleep levels for my wife and myself. She has a totally different sleep number from me, so that’s the best thing. So far, we haven’t had any problems with the bed at all and the only issue that I’ve held off on is getting our carpets cleaned because I don’t know what’s involved technically in taking the bed down and then setting it up, and that's probably something every homeowner would be a little fearful of.
