    I ordered an $8+k bed 2 weeks ago. I expected the bed to look like it did on the showroom floor. It doesn't. It looks terrible without the silhouette - something I did not know was optional. I was not informed about this option when I was purchasing the bed - and I would have purchased. Now the company is telling me, "Sorry, that would have been $800 at the time of purchase, now it's $1200 plus delivery and setup (~200)." Customer service was terrible and I am still waiting on an answer from the store. NOT GOOD.

    360 Bed: I ordered my second Sleep Number bed and was surprised the bed did not come with a remote. I ordered one which we soon learned was not enough. The remotes are quirky and difficult to sync. Tech Support could not figure it out and told me in a few days, my account would be reset and I would have to reconfigure everything. I found a complex workaround to make it work. I soon learned another remote was needed and ordered one which was lost in the mail. Sleep Number offer no expedited resolution. The remote does not always recognize all bed components. The bed itself is comfortable.

    SleepIQ: I travel for a living and was surprised I got a SleepIQ score one of the nights I was gone. I joked with my wife about having a visitor but it gives credibility issues to this system. DualTemp: I added a DualTemp layer that I love. The only problem is it is now in two pieces. They claim it is in the event only one side wants one but who would want a seam down the middle. The two does connect by buttons. It is much thinner than the previous model. Delivery: Delivery is expensive. They installed my dual layer upside down and when I identified it, they said they were not trained on it. The remote was not properly configured causing me about an hour of time.

    I wrote a review similar to this on their site but they rejected it causing me concern on the censorship. Bottom line is they charge a premium and you expect quality products that work properly. When they lose a remote in shipping, send another and credit the charges. This company is simply concerned about the bottom line. Product itself is OK but you can get an equal and better experience for far less.

    I was having real problems with shoulder pain and I was looking for some way to get a mattress that wouldn’t aggravate the pressure on the nerves. With Sleep Number, you could adjust it more or less depending on how sore things are. I bought pillows the first time which I turned out not to like so they have been decorations for the last fifteen years. I bought a mattress pad this last time as well as the first time. I went into the store and everybody that I’ve worked with has been really nice, very helpful, and very friendly.

    The delivery team was great and very efficient. They came in and took out whatever was there and set up the new bed and explained how to use it. They were quick, efficient, and really good. I just bought my third Sleep Number bed and the quality’s good. I would suggest that as long as you do not buy the absolute rock-bottom one because it has no padding on it, they are really comfortable and incredibly adaptable. And this last time, I bought the Flex Base so I can keep it up to read at night. It’s really nice.

    We had a Sleep Number bed for 11 years and recently we bought a mattress. The sales reps from Sleep Number were good. They let us look at the different beds and they went over different things with us. Then the delivery team came in, set up the new mattress and took everything away. It took them no time at all. The bed is comfortable and the people from Sleep Number are easy to work with.

    We have had a Sleep Number bed for 18 years now. We have had a little of experience on the new bed and it is not as comfy because we bought a downgraded model. So we went and purchased, like those foam toppers, and put it on the bed. The older model at home is better because it was a higher-end model. The interaction with the rep went well. We have worked with Carla and we like her. We had them deliver the bed and set it up. The interaction went very well. We enjoy the bed and we really like it a lot. I like having the ability to adjust my side of the bed. It was also priced appropriately. I would surely recommend Sleep Number to others.

    It has been the worst experience and I would NEVER recommend Sleep number (I8). It started out with delivery. They took three different days to get it delivered. I was waking up with pain every morning and I called the comfort team to get help. That was just as big a joke. They sent me these things to try but that didn’t work. The things they sent would have made my side of the bed 3 inches higher than my husband’s side. I called to return it and they told me it was 200.00 to take the bed. Some FREE TRAIL. They told me I could box it up myself and I did then told me it was still 150.00 and I can’t take it to a store. I can’t believe this company is so DECEITFUL. Buyer beware it is not worth it.

    We’ve had a Sleep Number for ten years before we bought the iLE last September. We got the adjustable base too and the new bed took a little bit to get used to since it is soft.     We love our Sleep Number. We’ve had Sleep Number products for about ten years now and we recently got a new one for our second home, a new condo. We got the whole thing, base and mattress, and we like the fact that they’re adjustable; that different sides can be different, hard and softness, etc. And we get a good night sleep on them. We had it delivered and though we weren’t there, a friend of ours was and they put it together. We actually got there the same day but it was already put together and one side did not work. We stayed there for two days and my wife basically slept in the whole. Afterwards, we called the company and they sent a new part down. Our friend went in and installed it for us and sent the old part back. And he says it looks fine. The reps have very good knowledge of their products and though Sleep Number is a little pricey for some people, they got to try it. I recommend it.

    I have purchased 5 Sleep Number beds, two top of the line split king adjustable. The first is great but the second has a problem that I can’t seem to get any help with. The sales associate said it’s because of the way it was installed. They were after hours, rushed and late when it was installed. Just this morning my wife tried to slide next to me and said “I’ve fallen in the hole”. The top separates which creates a valley in between the two sides. It’s not comfortable for two people to share this bed! I have spent close to thirty thousand dollars with Sleep Number and couldn’t be more disappointed!! I am tempted to put signage on my company box truck about how expensive of a mistake it is to buy a Sleep Number bed and park it at the Costco across the street from your store.

    My sales associate was Kate **, and from the time I walked into the store she was very attentive to me and my husband‘s needs. She walked us through the store, gave us a tour, and asked about her sleeping problems. She then took us over to the bed and got a digital image of a pressure point and sleep numbers to alleviate those pressure points to facilitate A more sound sleep pattern for us.     I already had a Sleep Number bed and I was upgrading. I was returning customer. The sales reps were professional and I had a very positive experience with them. The delivery team itself was fine but Sleep Number screwed up the delivery process. At the store, they allowed me to arrange and pick out a day but when the delivery people called, it was completely different which didn’t work with my schedule. The delivery process was a little shaky and Sleep Number needs to iron that out because that's a huge issue. People's time is valuable. If the delivery company is going to need to control the schedule, then the feedback to the salespeople at the store needs to be that the delivery people will call. Sleep Number passed the buck a lot too. But the sales rep could not have offered me a range if he didn’t see that in the system so they can’t blame him.

    People who walk into a Sleep Number fall into one or two categories. Much like myself, I was curious at first and then I decided to make a purchase. When you walk in and spend that amount of money on a bed, you want everything to flow smoothly. The delivery process is part of that and that was my biggest pet peeve with this latest experience. It didn’t happen the first time but this time, it was just annoying. Nevertheless, I feel great about the product’s overall quality and I highly recommend Sleep Number. Ever since I switched over to Sleep Number, I have gotten the best sleep.

    We bought a queen-sized mattress from Sleep Number and we've had it since September. The delivery guys showed up when they said they were. There was a three-week wait so it was a little bit longer than what I would have liked but they got here, set it up and they were professional. However, I don't love the bed like I thought I would, considering the price. I’m really hot in it. When I take the comforter off, my top freezes. Also, we had bought a king four and a half years ago, and the remote on it busted by two years ago. When the queen mattress got delivered, the delivery guy said that they would replace the remote. I called them and they wanted to charge me $45 for it. The problem is the battery door and it still functions, but when you pay $5,000 for a product, it should hold up longer than that. They couldn't do anything for me.

    We have had nothing but problems. It took 7 weeks to get the bed. We have had to replace the remote twice and this one still isn't working. The cover tore less than 6 months into owning the bed. We can't adjust the bed out of zero gravity position and I can't sleep on the bed. We have only had the bed for 3 years. In short it's great when it works but that isn't very often. The customer service is rude too.

    We bought our first Sleep Number in 2005 and we had it for 15 years. Recently, we bought a king double mattress. We were greeted by their salesperson when we came in. She was patient and didn’t try to push us to buy something. Instead, she offered all the products for our consideration. After we made our decision, she didn’t try to upsell so it was a good experience. Sleep Number is a very good product. It is expensive but considering all the things, the price and quality are comparable. It doesn't have all the heat and vibration, but it’s got individual controls. My wife loves it, and we’re happy with it.

    We had a Sleep Number bed for 12 years and it got damaged when we moved, so we had to replace it. We get a model higher than what we had. It has the same qualities as the old one, the only thing is I get a report on how I slept and it's pretty neat. Though delivery did not give me the rails I needed for headwork, they came in and took care of it. My wife has both of her hips replaced and has a bad back, and our Sleep Number bed is the best bed that she could sleep on and get a decent rest on. We can also adjust it to whatever we want. Sleep number is wonderful and we have already recommended it.

    I was promised delivery of my new bed on a certain day, I went ahead and got rid of the old one to make room. As luck would have it, UPS lost one of the packages and only 1/2 my bed was delivered. Left in the lurch without a bed, SN customer service told me the UPS mistake was MY problem, and they needed to give them 5 business days to find the package before they would ship me a new one. Add in the weekend, plus shipping time, I am now looking at 2 weeks with no bed because they don't want to send me new parts. It's my fault that UPS lost my package... I will be returning my bed and buying from another company who cares to keep my business!

    We had Sleep Number in the past and it wore out so we bought a new mattress. The new one has been in our home for three months. The old one was 12 years ago so this is a much better and more advanced product than that. It has new technology and the pillow top that the old one didn’t have. Although the SleepIQ technology is not working correctly on my wife’s side while it’s fine on my side. It doesn’t affect our sleep but it just doesn’t get an accurate reading the next day, which is disappointing. We’ve had an excellent experience and would highly recommend Sleep Number.

    I recently called Sleep Number to get a replacement bed topper for my bed purchased in 2006. A replacement part for my bed was going to be around $300. I asked the customer service rep if a bed topper for the current beds would be less expensive. She did some research and told me that they had a comparable topper that came in two pieces that would be much less expensive, and I was sold. It took over a month for it to be shipped to me. No one told me this upfront. When I would call they told me it was being made at the factory??? So I guess they didn't have them in stock? I found that to be odd.

    When it arrived we unwrapped the toppers and to our dismay realized it was more of an egg crate than part of the bed! I looked at the instructions and it didn't even have me placing the padding in the mattress topper part of my bed, and mentioned it being for "additional support" and went directly on top of the air chamber. I was furious! After sleeping on the floor for over a month we were sent the wrong part. When I called Sleep Number back to speak with them about getting the correct part, they told me that was the right part, then after waiting on hold while someone looked into it more, I was told that I could order the correct part, but it wouldn't be warranted because I was already sent a warranted part (which I was not).

    I have argued with customer service and gotten nowhere. I've asked them to tell me what model bed they have that uses only that tiny support with, of course they could not answer me because the answer is none. I have recommended this company to friends and family so often over the years, and am now regretting it. Although I am sure the first lady that helped me was trying to do me a favor by finding a alternative, I asked her repeatedly if the replacement being sent was the correct size for my bed, I triple checked. Now I am expected to pay an additional $500 for a non warranted topper. This is absurd!!!

    I purchased a bed on Black Friday. The salesman ended up convincing us to buy the floor model of a P6. He quoted us a price and promised it would come with sleep IQ. It came time to pay. It was more than what was quoted. No big deal, I was upset but understood. Well here we are two months later and I still don't have my sleep IQ. I have escalated to the salesman's manager and then a district manager, all of them which have said I should have my sleep IQ. Guess what, I still don't have sleep IQ. Now they want 150 dollars to "upgrade" to sleep IQ. It is a shame that they won't stand behind their promises. The bed is fantastic, but it is customer service that is the weak link of this company. If they promise something, they should follow through. Instead I have multiple broken promises.

    I was surprised when after 17 years Select Comfort/Sleep Number still had records on the bed we purchased in 2000. We needed a couple of perimeter foam pieces replaced. When they arrived they fit perfectly. We even saved money due to the warranty being still in force. My wife has not had back pain issues since the first night she slept on the bed. The great thing about the air mattress is that it never feels different year to year like an inner spring mattress. With a spring mattress your first night's sleep is the best you will ever have as it goes downhill a tiny bit every night thereafter. We will never own another bed so long as we live.

    We had an 18-year-old bed and it was getting very old so we needed a new one. Our daughter went to Sleep Number and they had a big sale so we went with them. We gave our grandson our old mattress then we got the split bed with the feet and the head that go up and down from Sleep Number. Our old mattress fit the waterbed frame and we wanted to get rid of that old bedroom frame. Compared to that, the Sleep Number is a free-standing one and I like it because it's closest to the wall even though it moved. Also, our old bed was flat so the new one is an improvement.

    A girl helped us through everything when we bought the Sleep Number and she called at least a couple of times to make sure we were happy and everything was okay. The setup men who came out were two guys who had been doing this for years. They were very very thorough and efficient. Everything was put away, cleaned up, and rolled out in all the boxes. They set everything up and explained things as they went along. Then, one of them helped me set up my smartphone for getting the readings on how we sleep and I love that.

    I like that I could make the Sleep Number bed easier and unmake it often when I wash the bedding. My husband also bought a curve pillow and he's happy with that. So far, we're satisfied with our bed and our daughter has one, too. I have sleep apnea real bad so I sleep with my head up a little bit. I had knee surgery, too, so I like the idea that I could elevate the bed if I need it or if my back is sore, there is something I could adjust.

    We went to the Sleep Number Store at Woodbridge-Potomac Town Place in Woodbridge, VA. As soon as we walked in with our two sons (9 and 4), Sammy greeted us promptly with a smile and hello. He asked us what brought us in that day and we told him that we were interested in a Sleep Number bed, even though we're actually happy with the mattress we have at home. The reason we're interested in getting a Sleep Number bed is because we like the idea that for the next several years, as our bodies get older and change, we can customize our bed to adjust and change with us. We told him that we have an iComfort Revolution memory foam mattress that we purchased back in 2012 when they first came out. We liked that it had a cooling feature to the memory foam, and that we really like the feel of it.

    He matched us with the i7 mattress from the Innovation Series of the 360 Smart Beds. As soon as we laid down, we liked the familiarity of the memory foam, and it had a noticeable cool feeling to it like ours at home does. Next came getting matched to our sleep number. We each took a side, and he asked us if we like a firmer or softer feel, and then adjusted our numbers accordingly. We liked it, a lot. He then changed the number and asked us how that felt, to which we both replied that it felt too firm and we'd like it softer again, so he adjusted it down and had us guess the number based on the first number he'd put it on. We realized that our perfect number during this demo was the original number he'd put us on. He then set the bed to "zero gravity" after a couple of other ideal positions.

    I forgot to mention, we were laying on the FlexFit2 Smart adjustable base. We had come in thinking originally that we'd only want the FlexFit1 base because we didn't think we'd need our feet to move. However, I DEFINITELY want the feet to move after experiencing the perfect position he put us in for back or side sleeping. We decided with him that we didn't need the FlexFit3 base because we didn't need the foot warmer on the bed.

    Anyway, we had a great time going over the demo, and he answered every question we had, but was even able to offer information we didn't even realize we needed beforehand. He went over the 100 day in-home trial period, and that should we decide that the particular mattress we'd chosen wasn't the right one, that we would be able to exchange it or even return it. He also explained that this does not apply to the FlexFit bases, so the base would be ours once we decided (which was perfectly fine with us).

    The main debate we had was whether or not we'd want the FlexTop or the Split, or even the regular King (we were on the Queen demo in store). While we think that we would be "fine" with the regular King mattress, we also know that it would certainly be more convenient to have at least the split top and think that's where we'll fall. Since there is no difference in price for the split top or the split mattress, we could easily decide within the trial period that we'd rather have the other.

    Basically, we're just waiting on it to make sure that we're ready to commit to the bed. We view a bed as an investment, and while we're certainly not rich, we will happily invest the money into something that we sleep on, since you spend so much of your life sleeping and it attributes greatly to your overall health. We were really happy with our experience in store. We were in there for 45 minutes or so, waiting on an appointment at a store across the street. Sammy was a no-pressure but very informative employee and we will definitely be contacting him when we're ready to make the upgrade.

    I have Sleep Apnea, so it’s nice to have a bed that’s friendly to Sleep Apnea. We had a previous Sleep Number bed and then we bought a bigger house and so instead of getting rid of the other one we put it in the spare bedroom and bought us a new one. We've had Sleep Number for seven years now. The new purchase was a home delivery. They showed up on time, put the bed together and then left. We got the newer model with the split headboard which my wife wanted to get. She likes a bit of different elevation than I do. The bed is comfy and we like it better than the old one. Also, the little light that comes on when we get out of the bed at night to go to the bathroom is neat. The other mattress we had was hard to keep on to the platform due to the mechanism used to hold it down with. This new one uses magnets so it’s going to hold up better than the first one. They're too expensive in general but they're pretty good.

    We are long-time users of Sleep Number. We had one 20 years ago and recently, we purchased a new one plus a set of sheets and a mattress cover. Our old one was a king size while the new one is a queen. The king size four poster we had took up a lot of room so the new bed feels smaller. I'm also still learning the things that are automatic on it. But it is very good and we recommend it to everybody that we ever talk to about beds. I like it so much and I'm sleeping much more than I should be.

    We’ve talked mostly at great length with the team in Rochester, New York when we were in the area and visited their store. Their sales staff was helpful and we really enjoyed our experience with them. They were on commission and we were going to back to Maryland to buy the bed but they were okay with it. Both of the staff we dealt with in Rochester and Maryland were delightful. Their delivery team was amazing as well. They were as pleasant and as appropriate as could be. They were speedy, too.

    I have five of Sleep Number's beds and I love it. I even have the two twin beds in my grandkids' room and they don’t want to get out of the bed. They say that they want to go to their mommy, then head straight to their room and get in the bed. A friend bought one, then a couple of years later bought one for their guest bedroom. We stopped and saw Sherron over at the Mall of Louisiana. He is such a good salesperson and he doesn’t push. He just tells the good. We pretty much bought it because of Sherron.

    We had one for or a month and 13 days before it flooded in 2016 and it was amazing. We had to live in the trailer while our house was being re-done. Then I bought one for every room. I’ve had those since November. My also daughter bought one because of our recommendation and she loves it. Their delivery team has been amazing and helpful. The bed's quality is excellent. I told people about it and they know that if I brag about something then it would be good, because I don’t push anything I don’t like. Moreover, I tell them to go to Sherron. I also bought sheets from them, as well as several pillows. However, I still haven’t found the perfect pillow yet. It’s either too hard or I get a crick in the neck and we’ve tried three different kinds. I put them on the guest bed instead and everybody else loves it.

It left me no other option but to take my complaint to social media. But in their defense, they did ultimately make it right.

    Buyer Beware!! They will not honor your warranty claim. I just spent an hour on the phone with a customer service representative and her supervisor and they were no help. Chronic back pain since buying this bed. When I stay in hotels, no problem with back pain. Would have returned in the first 100 day trial but they string you along trying new Sleep Number settings until it is too late. Mattress is less than one year old. I am trying to get the memory foam mattress topper replaced under warranty because there is obviously some sort of defect with ours. While on the phone with the representative she asked me to push on the mattress in the center where it sags, and then push on the side where it is not sagging to see if I feel a difference.

    Not being an expert on foam, I don't really feel a difference. But it is obvious when you look at it that there is a problem. Because of that comment they have refused to replace them. They refused to send out a technician or expert to look at the mattress and validate my claim. I can assure you, with the reach of social media the lack of support and not honoring a warranty claim will not go unheard. It is going to cost your organization a lot more than the price of two twin memory foam toppers for my $7,500 bed.

    It is unimaginable how they can deny to replace my topper because I said that I don't feel a difference in the bounce when I push on it. Even though I see a difference. But apparently the topper being shaped like a taco is normal according to the supervisor. Oh but wait. After she repeatedly told me the that replacing would not solve my problem, she was willing to sell them to me? How unethical is that? Letting me purchase something that she "knows" will not solve the problem? SLEEP NUMBER: If you think my description here is inaccurate, I encourage you to listen to the recorded conversation.

    Disappointed in the service of my split top king size Sleep Number bed. First of all the top of the bed where the split is has increased five times in width. The company makes you diagnose your own problems, if you want a customer service visit that will cost you $ 179.00. I had to diagnose the fact that I have a bad pump. This will cost me over two hundred dollars and I have to install the part. Read the small print on your contract because the 25 year warranty is severely reduced after two years. I had to pay more than 25% of the New part uninstalled. I am not a happy customer!

    My experience with your associates and installers has been a complete joke. From the salesperson completely screwing up my order (how do you not order legs for the bed) to the bed not fitting in our home despite our explanation to the salesperson that we had had similar issues in the past (but your beds are different per the sales person) to the now completely screwed up payment plan.

    The topper came when I received my first bill, despite my returning half of the order, the minimum monthly payment was almost twice the amount the sales associate told us it would be when signing the contract. The payment plan states that the promo period ends in 24 months, but the minimum payment will have the account paid in less than 15 months and the credit card company cannot do anything about it. I am still within my free trial and someone will be coming to pick up this crap and you will lose any customer that asks me what I think about your shady (at best - criminal at worst) sales practices.

    I was super excited to get my bed! I've heard some good things about Sleep Number. Unfortunately, my experience has not been a good one. My delivery day I was given a 4 hour window for delivery. When the window came and went, I called to get an update. I was told they would arrive in 30 minutes. I waited an hour, called again, was told the same thing. Called again. By this point I'm annoyed because I had to get to work and I was home all morning waiting for delivery.

    THEY SHOWED UP 4 HOURS LATE! The delivery guys were having a bad day I guess because they were very grumpy! They set the bed up and start to leave. Ummm I need to know how to use the bed!!! So they show me real quick because they are real behind and have more stops to get to. Well, foot warmers don't work on both sides of the bed. Can't move the bed up or down because an alert is triggered that there is something at the bottom of the bed in the way even though there is nothing there. Call for support.

    After holding for 48 minutes I speak to the nicest guy! He sends out new foot warmers and arranges for somebody to come to fix bed. I sleep in bed for next 3 nights. Worst night sleep I've ever had! I now have lower back pain, hip pain, and sciatica pain going down both my legs. I adjust the bed each night in hopes it will help. Nope! I call to set up a return because they have the 100 nights sleep. Find out the base is not returnable... Ummm nobody mentioned that to me. They charge you $199 for returning... Ummm again nobody mentioned that to me. The best part is I now have a bed I can't sleep in because it is causing me so much pain. Oh and they can't come for 2 WEEKS to pick up the bed. What the hell am I supposed to sleep on for the next 2 weeks!!! I will never ever recommend this company to anyone! Biggest Mistake Of My Life!!!

    We already had a Sleep Number bed before this new one. This time, we purchased the i9, the biggest kind of bed they had with dual reclining. We have the adjustable bases with the massage and the IQ technology. We met the rep at the fair. He was very professional and really nice. He wasn’t trying to oversell us the bed and we decided that it was a deal we couldn’t pass up. The delivery team was professional and friendly. They explained everything to me as they put the bed together. They brought it in and took the time to explain the remote and all the new features.

    We have a big sleigh bed and it’s really poofy. With the Sleep Number bed, the hoses always come out the back. It would stick out the back and, because our bed is poofy, the hoses rub on the back making a rubbing noise. I would’ve designed it with a notch on the back of the base so the hose could easily go down and it’s not protruding as far. But that's the only comment I have against Sleep Number. We’ve recommended them to our family. They all have Sleep Number beds too.

    My husband and I purchased a mattress yesterday from the Montclair California store and we are very excited about it. Our sales associate Tina went above and beyond to educate us and help us choose the best mattress possible. The store manager on the other hand made my husband and I feel very uncomfortable. Hermalinda I think her name was had given the sales associate Tina permission to use a $100 off coupon, which didn't end up working out and couldn't be applied (which is fine) but the way the store manager treated Tina and handled the situation was inappropriate and unprofessional. She told Tina she could get fired for something like this, right in front of us, when we heard her give permission to try the coupon.

    We were also inquiring about the medical discount with me being a nurse in which the manager had mentioned shouldn't be a problem. There was also a misunderstanding about the financing, we put 4,200 down with 36 month free financing which was not a problem while we were in the store with both Tina and the store manager Hermalinda. I just want to make it known that if it wasn't for Tina, we would not have purchased a mattress from that store and the only negative part was that we could tell the store manager mis-treats her employees in an unprofessional manner.

    My husband is a deputy sheriff and I am a registered nurse and we are very big on customer service and don't like to give our business to people who don't deserve it. After leaving the store I had a bad feeling about the store manager and how she was going to treat Tina, so I wanted to bring this to a higher power's attention.

    I purchased my i10 bed, sheets blanket and bedcover in September of 2017 and due to the split bed design I had to buy sheets from the Sleep Number bedding when I purchased the bed. I also was told by the salesperson that the sheet set I purchased was the best set they had available. As I purchased the split bed I had no choice but to purchased Sleep Number sheets. Well let’s just say for spending 200.00 per set times 2 sheets set one would think they be of decent quality. Well I must say they are not of high nor mediocre quality in any way shape or form, these are not worth 200.00 per set at all!

    They are already rough, thin and wrinkle no matter how quickly you remove them from the dryer. They look like they have been wadded up and thrown in a corner for a month. They are so thin you can look through them and watch a tv show. I’ve had sets from my previous bed that I purchased at Costco that were Sateen finish and a high thread count that you couldn’t see through the fabric, comfortable and cool.

    Again when I purchased the bed this past summer and had to buy Sleep Number sheets they are already starting to pill, are nothing more than a 20.00 Target set one would buy for a children’s bed. It’s just sad that one can spend over 10k for a bed and bedding yet the bedding which one lies on is of such poor quality but you're stuck with it as you can’t go out and buy a better quality less cost somewhere else. I have attached a photo of the wrinkles from one of the pillowcases so one can see how they come directly out of the dryer, yes I just pulled it out of the dryer.

    Me and my wife decided it was time to upgrade to a new bed, so we both decided to check out the Sleep Number store during Black Friday. We were greeted by a very nice charismatic salesman named Taylor ** at the store in Victoria Gardens located in California. They had this special during Black Friday for a limited time bed and both my wife and I were very happy that we were going to get a deal on the our purchase.

    While the paperwork was being done we noticed a "massage" feature to the bed so my wife decided we had to have it so we found out it was $2,200 more along with other things we didn't care about. We are not a "wealthy" couple so financing something this expensive that totaled $5,317.93 plus an additional $650 for toppers and pillows was a bit nerve racking, but Taylor assured us that it was a risk free deal where we can return it ALL back in case we were not happy with the product and the chances of us returning was extremely slim. So we TRUSTED him and went forward with the purchase without a second thought.

    Here's the thing and I am to blame for this. I, full of excitement as well as my wife were so blinded that we didn't read what we signed before leaving that store, that being said this guy Taylor was so focused on selling us this bed that he did not tell us ANYTHING about the basis on how they are NOT RETURNABLE. Let that sink in for a moment.

    When I asked him how much the price difference was he never mentioned a single thing about the non returnable base, even when I was asking him the MAJOR differences including the bad stuff between the basic base and the flex 3 base, nothing was mentioned. If I was ever to have KNOWN that a $2,200 base wasn't returnable I'd fully back off this purchase and took my HARD earned money elsewhere. Not to mention all the shipping has to be covered by ME! It's ridiculous and I feel like I've been robbed from this company. I dont have that kind of money for a useless base. I'm stuck in a hole where I lose money I don't have.

    We've tried the bed but it isnt worth the money. I didn't find out any of this till I contacted the store that sold me the bed. Tomorrow I will be contacting customer service to see how this plays out. I'm hoping that I get some miracle but like previous consumers, it doesnt seem that way. Dont get me wrong. To right person it's an amazing bed, but it's not worth 5k+ in my opinion. The comfort is not a night and day difference like at the store, the massage feature was 10x better at the store, I can't even feel the bed adjust to the number I want it set at. They need to train their staff better to let the consumer know ALL the risks that they will be taking, but I doubt it since they are a large company and all companies want is your money. If your finances are tight STAY AWAY!

    We bought this Split King I10 Bed 4/29/17. This bed cost around $10k. We have never been happy with this bed and contacted company about 4 months after we bought it to complain. The bed separated so much down the middle my leg would get caught and we would have to keep shoving them together. We wanted to exchange for the bed not slit all the way down. Of course they won't do anything. This is a terrible bed and I don't recommend the bed or company to anyone. We plan to contact BBB and lawyer. We would gladly exchange for the cheaper to get rid of this bed. I have noticed this company doesn't advertise these split beds, they may have quit making them. I paid a lot of money for comfort, but got crap!!

    First of all, when we received our bed, the frame did not get delivered with it. This was after waiting extra days for delivery. So we were forced to sleep on the mattress on the floor. Fast forward, and I hate everything about this bed. It is not comfortable. I’ve tried every Sleep Number and not a single one is good for me. I now sleep in another room from my husband because I cannot sleep on that mattress. I literally do not sleep and I wake up stiff and in pain. My marriage is strained because we cannot sleep on the same mattress. We just visited our local Sleep Number store to upgrade to one I might like better and as soon as I explained how much I hate my bed, the sales associates quit assisting us. They moved on to other people in the store, even though we said we were looking at upgrading.

    Your company should be ashamed at the lack of customer service it provides. After that experience, the odds of my family ever purchasing or recommending a product to anyone is slim to none. And this happened at the Uptown location in Albuquerque, NM just as an FYI. Being treated as an inconvenience instead of a valued customer really puts a sour taste in my mouth for the entire Sleep Number company.

    Must admit the bed is probably at least 12 years old. The first 5 years it was a pretty good bed. But given the amount of money that we paid for it we could of almost bought a camper. Well anyway the last about 5 years, the wife's side of the bed does not hold air. I just got out of the hospital and was falling asleep in the chair I am typing in. I went to bed and tossed and turned for almost 6 hours. This is how uncomfortable this bed is, I really wish you would come and get it. I am about to lose my sanity. So people when you buy something with bells and whistles that is just more to go wrong with it.

    I would stay away from the Sleep Number, even though when it is not broke it is a good bed. But once you have issues you will hate it. Sleep is one of the things the body needs. So do you want to spend $3000 to $5000 on a bed every 5 years? I think this bed is going out in the dog area for them to sleep on, I am done and about to lose my mind. Like I said first 5 years an ok bed. From then on it is worthless. I use to be able to sleep anywhere but not anymore.

    I have a Sleep Number bed and needed a replacement pump. I spoke with 2 different people relative to ordering one two and three days ago. There seemed to be a issue with the programming and neither one could submit an order and they were to call me back when the issue was resolved. Needless to say I never received a call. Yesterday I ordered a pump via Amazon and it was delivered today. Now that is service, which is not what I got from your company!!! Love the bed but your customer service is awful.

    This rating reflects the lack of customer service at the corporate level not the store level. The store personnel are awesome. We purchased a Comfort Fit curved pillow and after a few weeks I wasn't getting used to mine. I had a stiff neck after I started using it. I kept using it thinking I just needed to get used to it. I didn't get used to it and my neck was still stiff. I returned to the use of my original pillow and no longer have a stiff neck. The bed was delivered 11.28.17. I emailed customer service 12.24 with my issue. I didn't expect a response within their noted 72 hours as it was Christmas Eve. I was happy to wait for their response. I re-submitted by email 12.29 and again didn't expect a response in 72 hours since it was going into a holiday weekend.

    Jan. 6th I submitted my email for the 3rd time and by this time I had expected to have received a response from my 2 submittals. I received a phone call from Andrew that same morning. He explained that the 30 days had passed since the bedding was delivered prior to the bed. It didn't matter that we didn't unpack it, it was in our position and could have been using the pillow. True... but we didn't. In our mind there was no reason to unpack the box of bedding until we had the bed. Andrew provided no options, nothing, just unable to help and told me to have a great day.

    This is the customer service we receive after spending over $7000??? Andrew said they reviewed my email on Jan. 3rd and that there is only 3 of them on staff and have thousands of issues to review. I'm not sure what difference that made since he couldn't help me anyway. To add insult to the situation I received an email from "Drew" later that day thanking me for my time that morning, etc. and resolving the policy issue. Nothing was resolved unless after spending over $7000 it is made sufficiently clear that no exceptions are made to satisfy a customer. An exchange, store credit, etc. nothing for a $75 pillow that was used for about 3 weeks but was in our home for possibly 10 days longer than the 30 days.

    Sleep Number has horrible customer service at the corporate level. Is it their policy to have absolutely no flexibility? I would advise anyone with issues with Sleep Number to deal with the store personnel as they know what customer service is. Corporate could learn something from the people representing them in their stores where common sense and customer focus abounds.

    I was looking for a certain degree of features in a bed and Sleep Number had a lot of special features. I liked that it was adjustable and it could be comfortable in different situations for two different people. We got the i10 360, the one that goes up and down. There's also a light underneath it and it lights up when we get up at night and that the feet warm up. We also got beddings for the bottom since it needs a special sheet that's not made by anyone else.

    The sales people were very nice and knowledgeable. The delivery team was very nice, too but we live in a very rural area and they were late. They also couldn't get the foot warmers working and had troubles putting the bed together. They no longer could contact the people they needed to contact at Sleep Number to talk and tell them what to do exactly. They left around 7 o'clock but I wasn't sure if it was going to be taken care of. I then got the new foot warmer and they said they'd send someone to put it together but they were unsure that the problem was the foot warmer or the bed itself. Somebody came and they were not able to repair it and put the foot warmers so, they replaced the mattress.

    Within the first two months, we had another problem with the bed and it was still fairly new. We couldn't get the Sleep Number going properly so, I called and it took me a long time to get through. When I finally got through, they told me to lift the mattress, but I'm 74 years old and I couldn't do it. My daughter was able to straighten it out but it happened again. My son-in-law came over and did something he felt would help. The i10 360 line had some issues and now, there's a recall with the heaters. Both I and my children have two heaters and they should come back and see what is wrong. Other than those issues, we love the bed. We bought one for our children and they love it as well. It's a great bed and I've recommended them to people.

    When I first looked at Sleep Number, I didn't have great customer service so I didn't buy one. But then I moved to Arkansas, found a friendly person in the store. I finally got a good impression on them. I’ve owned Sleep Number Products for almost 10 years now and the most recent purchase is our fourth one. I picked up a P5 mattress and standard base for my wife from their Newport News store in Virginia.

    Britney, their store manager, was super friendly. My wife saw that they were having a sheet sale, so we went in and looked for her. She always remembers our names and always asks how we are. She sends us emails about deliveries and products. The customer service that we would get from the store to the email followups have been amazing. I don't see that kind of professionalism with customer service these days but Britney has been one of the ones that has been a great help.

    The delivery was good and the crew was very friendly and professional as well. They initially had it as an in-home set up but all I really needed was the delivery to the house. I had it sent to my house in Yorktown because my apartment in the D.C. area wasn't ready yet. I asked them to neatly stack the boxes up in the corner. Then, I took the boxes up and set it up myself which they appreciated because they thought they were going to do a full delivery and set up but it was just basically dropping all the boxes. That was an error on my part. I kept looking at the receipt and thought that it was expensive for a delivery but I was not worried about it because I was getting the bed that I wanted.

    We have three beds and everybody in our house sleeps on a Sleep Number. Its quality is good because the mattress holds up. However, I need to change the topper on the inside on our king size because it is torn in the middle. But we've had that bed for so long with the mattress protection pad and the mattress still looks good and new. I've done several Sleep Number recommendations.

    It was time for a new mattress and we had looked around. There were mattress companies in other places and we decided to try them since my wife had experienced a degree of discomfort from her backache. We also tried Sleep Number because her sister has one. In fact, she has had one for 10 years. So we switched over to them, got the i10 split top, remote-controlled King Size mattress which includes the base.

    We had Jason, Jeremy, and Steve to help us. These sales professionals were friendly and we had a very good experience with all of them. When the delivery team came in, they put everything together in place, totally up. I asked if there's anybody who purchased the Sleep Number and put the thing together themselves and their response was some people did. However, I wasn't willing to put it together because you're looking at a time-consuming situation. It was much better to have your set up crew put everything together so we can immediately start using the Sleep Number bed.

    So far, my wife's backache has ceased to exist. I have already recommended them to other people that have experienced discomfort with their backaches. But it would be nice to have a more color selection for the bedding itself. I happen to like more colorful bedding personally. But we ended up with the ivory color for the sheets and pillow slips. Also, it is expensive purchasing the Sleep Number bed. But if you want to give up the purchase price as opposed to a backache, the purchase price becomes negligible. Because not having to deal with constant back pain is more important for your overall comfort.

    I am a little upset right now. We were scheduled for our Sleep Number bed yesterday... they had our delivery time 5-9. We first called that morning to get a time of delivery. No show yet so at 8 pm we called again. Then back and forth until 9:45 pm. GPS could not find their truck. They were last notice in Dothan, AL and we were suppose to be next and we were only 30 min from Dothan. They never showed up. We have already took down our old bed and taken it out. We were not gonna set it all back up again. So we ended up making other arrangements in our house to sleep. We got up this morning and have not heard from anyone. My husband called at noon and said that someone will call and probably have to schedule for another day for delivery. REALLY. I bet others are getting theirs delivery today. THIS IS NOT GOOD.     We had a Sleep Number that we purchased ten years ago and it was for a larger bedroom. We bought a new one in September and it was a queen size bed. The bedroom that we were going to put the one that we bought was a bit smaller so we were looking to replace the existing bed in there so we could get a little bit more room.     We ordered a i10 Sleep Number bed at the end of 11/2017. With sheets, etc, the total was over $11k. Today was FINALLY our delivery date! When the guys came with the bed, they took our bed out to the curb and it was a while before they came back to the house- clearly there was a problem. After 20 minutes, the guy told us the base was defective (there were wires missing). Long story short- we have no new bed, no old bed (it was out in the Snow and wet and no good to us) and no answer as to when we'll get a replacement bed! No one from Sleep Number called us back- I had to call and get the runaround from several unhelpful and uncaring people. Still don't know when we'll get a bed. They'll take your money but when you need help, they just don't care!! They are HORRIBLE! Had I known this to be the case, I would have NEVER purchased this bed. BEWARE.

    I had Sleep Number for 10 years and it had two sides. When my wife passed away, I wanted the whole bed, not the divider 'cause I didn't need it. That's why I invested in the whole one. I also got a pillow and a thing for my knees 'cause I sleep on my sides although I don't use it. However, the salesman was kind of stupid. I bought the bed because he said that I could keep track of my sleep, and I can't do it with one device. I need to have two Sleep Number devices, but mine's only got one.     I called customer service because I was trying to get recommendations on how to make my bed comfortable. My wife has her setting at 100 and my setting range for 60 to 75. Immediately they said I had to buy more padding to fix the problem... It was not a defect, but a comfort issue. By the way, all sales are final. They did not ask me to do anything as far as trying different settings on the firmness...or try a different configuration of comfort padding. I spent approximately $70 dollars on a one inch padding they sent to me. It looked a little small, so I called customer service to report the problem. “I am sorry sir. All sales are final and we sent you the wrong product. The two inch padding is $160.00 plus shipping.” I told them that they sent me the wrong product and the Service Rep said all sales are final.

    So it’s going to cost me $230 dollars to see if this solves my problem. I refused to place an order and asked if there was something I could about their 25 year warranty to find out what other options are available. He said none because I've had my bed almost 3 years. If I wanted to change my comfort padding I had to pay approximately $170 dollars plus shipping. I pointed out to him that his two solutions required for me to spend more money to fix their problems and that I am stuck with this bed...as is. The bed feels like we are sleeping on top of an air mattress, It just seems to have worn out in less than 3 years. Very little comfort is provided unless I spend more money to make it comfortable.

    As if $4100 is not enough money to spend on a bed. His response to me was "you should have returned it within your 100 day trial period." I told him that my problem had nothing to do with the 100 day policy, it has to do with the quality of the bed and the perceived 100 percent satisfaction with a 25 year warranty. It not like I waited to year 20 or 24 to call and say I was no longer comfortable with my bed.

    Our split king was delivered 2 weeks ago. We are very disappointed with the huge division between the two parts. This is not how the bed was in the store, and we were assured that there would be no distinguishable split between the two halves. Super bummed. Tried chat, and they said they would be right back, then disconnected from us. Going to try to call tomorrow. Will update review if they have a fix for this, but so far we're super bummed with the base. Mattress is comfortable, when you don't roll into the crack between the mattresses. Definitely has an 'air mattress' type feel, but really is comfortable.

    I'd always wanted to try a Sleep Number so we went to the store and picked one out. We bought the FlexTop as well as coats, pillows and sheets. The sales reps were very nice and they taught us about each product. The delivery team was timely. They came out, put it all together and showed me how to use it. We’ve been back and forth between our two different houses and I love it when I sleep on my Sleep Number. However, the mattress has two different sides and it’s weird that we don't get two remotes. We also bought a few sets of the sheets and they're always loose with the FlexTop no matter what I do. I move around and the sheets are not tight for some reason.

    I recommended Sleep Number to my sister and she bought one. She didn't like the one that she got and she returned it and got a different model. They made her mad because they charged her all this money for her delivery and setup, and for the delivery and setup again of the new model. She ended up not getting it. She bought one from somebody else because of all the trouble that she had. Sleep Number said if we didn't like it, we could purchase another one but they don't follow on all the other things that go with it. Sleep Number should explain a bit more when people buy it.

    We had our old mattress for about 15 years and we needed to upgrade and we've been looking at some different mattresses over the last year. At first, the cost was an issue. But when we went to the local Sleep Number store in San Antonio, the manager, Joanna, was unbelievable. She is number one with customer service. She knows her business and she's a really good rep. We had a couple of issues with our bed and she took care of them right off the bat. Now we have the split king with the head because I snore sometimes. Also, when I get bad colds, it's easier for me to sleep on an incline.

    When we first had the bed set up, the delivery guys were in a hurry and just left. Our old king size bed was left right in the middle of the floor. They forgot to take it out. We had to wait another day for them to come back and get it but they made good on it. The other thing was, we had an issue with the low LED light under the bed. It took a while to get it fixed. We tried a couple of different things and then Sleep Number finally sent somebody out. Also, their service tech had to sit on the phone on hold for over an hour before they were able to talk to the people that provide the frames for them. That part took him five minutes to install but he couldn't get on with somebody. They gave him the same number they gave me. If I was running the service hand, I would have a dedicated service line for those professionals to call in so they can get somebody directly instead of making them wait because they are burning money doing that. The service tech was super nice but he could have done several jobs instead of just sitting there on the phone with me trying to get my job.

    Other than that, I sleep really great on my new Sleep Number mattress. Even my wife was a skeptic at first after we got it home and the initial shock that we spent $7,000 on this bed. She wasn't too sure at first and she freaked out because she had something set on the bed that she didn't like. Then, she adjusted the bed and within the last several weeks, she said that she loves the bed. She's a convert now, as well as I am. This is a fantastic bed. I hope it would last as long as they say they would and would give us a lot of good use because we really enjoy it. I like its functionality and being a nerd, I like looking at the app and seeing how I did. It's also very useful to have a night light come on underneath the bed because I have to walk from one side around the bed to get to the restroom. If I want to get up in the middle of the night, I could see if my wife left any clothes on the floor that I might trip over.

    I called several times for issues and filled out all the reviews they sent me, indicating problems and being unhappy from the beginning. My two biggest issues are that no one told me the adjustable base was non-returnable and they are charging outrageous fees to return the bed. The base is simply too tall. It seems there were options to fix lower it, but no one suggested or offered these. I had to contact Leggett & Platt, the maker for the base, to find a solution. The installer could have fixed this by not putting 1 1/2" caps on the legs, but they never asked my opinion, nor offered solutions when I said it was too tall.

    I repeated asked for a discount on the return fee, but it seems they do not care if I am upset and extremely dissatisfied. One CSR told me the fee "came out of my refund", as if that mean I wasn't paying this fee. I finally opted to make them pick up the bed for an outrageous $179.99, and require them to lower the base when they are here. I dismantled the mattress myself and am now waiting approximately 2 weeks before they come pick it up and fix the base. In addition, they refused to post my negative feedback on their website.

    On the 19th of December my wife and I purchased a spilt king i10 360 Smart bed with the 360 FlexFit 2 base. We were told that Sleep Number gave 100 night to try out the bed and if for any reason we didn't like the bed Sleep Number would take it back. Only cost to us would be the 179.99 Home delivery fee. Guess what? Lie! Lie! Lie! Only that mattress is returnable. The base is ours 3099.00. The sale's rep had many chances to tell us the base was non returnable and didn't. Also find out that we couldn't utilize the full benefit of our new bed without Wi-Fi. We told the sale's rep we didn't have Wi-Fi and he informed us that would not be a problem. Guess what? Lie! Lie! Lie! After a week of trying to sync our laptop, phone etc. to our new bed I call Sleep Number support and found out it won't work without Wi-Fi. Wi-Fi is not easily available in our area. Need a 65 ft tower.

    Then we got our first statement for Sleep Number (Synchrony Bank) around the 25th of November and the balance was 764.19 and needed to be paid in full or pay 29.99% interest (so much for 2 years free financing ). It was due on the 15th of December. After calling Sleep Number found out this was for the bedding for the new bed. To quote the sale's rep (I will put the bedding on with the bed) what he actually did was to opened a credit card without asking. Guess what? Lie! Lie! Lie!

    After learning about how poorly our Sleep Number rep had treated us we decided to return the bed and learned about the base being non returnable. After several calls we told the customer service rep that we didn't want the bed because of the dishonesty of our Sleep Number rep and that he didn't deserve a commission. She asked what it would take to keep us as customers. Told her that if she dropped the price to 6000.00 and that the Sleep Number rep didn't get a commission we would keep the bed. She said she would talk to her people and call back. Waited 8 days. Called again, left a message, again still waiting!!! We thought we were dealing with a reputable company only we were not. We bought from Sleep Number bed on good faith and found out the Sleep Number rep was not selling on good faith.

    UPDATED ON 01/12/2018: Per your response to my complaint it's my fault that I believed your Sleep Number rep. Per your response you said "that it was important for all of our customers to know the adjustable base is a final sale". That is very sad because we spent over 2 hours with your rep and he never said a word about the base being non-refundable. Then you have all of our contact info email, phone, why don't you contact us or are you too busy covering for your dishonest sleep number reps.

    I had bought seven or eight Sleep Numbers before and I recently bought a new one which was a 360 with a free platform. The salesperson had done a great job so I tried to go back to the same one. I had the recent one delivered at home and it was great. Although I’m not 100% used to it yet and there is some unevenness to it, it is a good product. However, I don’t like calling customer service because they've never helped me very well. They don’t solve my problems and they want to charge me a big fee for something.

    We bought a Sleep Number bed at the store in Kennewick WA. We were told that the bed was returnable after 30 days and the mattress after 100 days. Well they did not point out that in the fine print the adjustable base is not returnable. Yes we should have seen it but we went by what we were told. After 27 days the bed is a huge disappointment so I call to have it returned. Not only are we stuck with a adjustable base but also we have to pay another 179.99 fee to have it picked up. Buyer beware!!

    First off when you go to purchase your bed you lay on this bed where they give you your “sleep setting”. Biggest crock! Everyone is told the same number! Now my husband and I have had our bed a little over a year and from a couple months in we have called nonstop! They sent a ton of things to “help” yet NOTHING works! We both are seeking medical treatment for our backs and we asked for was to sleep a night comfortably and without pain. It appears no one working there know what they are talking about. The sales person was a good guy. He helped me out and tried to tell us which mattress was a good mattress. He sold to us the mattress, bed covers, and whichever was going on sale, and that helped out really good. The delivery was good too. However, they were not giving anything like a discount if you buy something like $3,500. They charged me for the bed sheets too, and we bought a very high-quality bed when it was on sale that time.

    Purchased bed March 2013, just shy of 4 years ago. The first two years the bed was fine. After that things went downhill. We figured maybe we needed new foam toppers and cover. Both were purchased which was an absolute mess. We were sent the wrong products more than once. There were numerous exchanges and multiple admitted mistakes on sleep numbers end. We finally got the correct pieces. The bed is still horrible. We wake up with back pain every day.

    We did all the troubleshooting they recommended with no resolution. The entire bed is "sloppy". It's bulging on sides, the middle creates a valley between my spouse and I. The bed is not even, we sleep on an angle. We have called and they state they can't assist. Their only resolution is we can purchase new parts is any of the troubleshooting shows any broken parts. First there are no "broken" parts. The bed just is poorly made and is not holding up the way it should. We spent close to $3000. on this bed. I don't wasn't to spend more money on this bed. They say it has a warranty for 25 years. It’s not really. It’s prorated and it’s not for the whole bed. It’s for individual parts. And is a "discounted rate for those parts. But our problem is the whole bed. It’s awful. We just want a restful sleep. They won't even send someone to check out what’s going on without charging us over $100. So disappointed and would never recommend this company to anyone.

    I'm very happy with my Sleep Number. I've had this brand for years and this is my third bed. I went to their store, looked at different models and found the one that I liked. I also got pillows and mattress covers. Their staff on the phone and in the store were very positive, supportive and helpful. The boxes arrived at my place and then I assembled it.     We were looking for a new bed, so we bought one from Sleep Number, and the sales lady was really knowledgeable. She also wasn't pushy, she listened to our concerns, took the time with us, and showed us the different options. We bought the bed, the bed frame, a headboard, sideboards and footboards. We got those set up in the house and the delivery was great. The bed is amazing, and both my husband and I love it. We also purchased new sheets and loved those, too, but the headboard and the frame itself, I'm not loving it. Other than that, I have recommended Sleep Number to my friends.     Returning customer after approx 14 years with a Sleep Number bed. Ordered a new I7 and did NOT like it from the get go, starting with them setting up the bed so the legs on one side of bed were higher than the other. After complaining that we were sliding to one side, the sales rep came out and found problem. At least 2 weeks of that fiasco. Still didn’t like the mattress and after going back and forth we decided we would go to the I8. "NO PROBLEM SIR. We will be glad to make the change because we are customer friendly."

    Well first problem is the base is different so we signed a contract of a no return policy of $1500 on base. If you don’t sign, you don’t get a bed. “What could possibly go wrong for agreeing to that? Had mattress before and we liked it so why would we think we wouldn’t like the new one?” "Well since we are getting a different bed, we are only going to charge you $300 additional for switch of base." BUT IT IS NOT MY FAULT THAT WE DON’T LIKE THE BED. Oh, by the way, $180 delivery charge. Oh, by the way, gee the original discount for the I8 was not as good as the I7 at the time so that is an additional $173.16. Total extra was $653 because I didn’t like the original mattress.

    “Well, I just want my money back and I will buy another brand”. They will be glad to give me my money back for mattress but no money back for the $1500 base. SOOO now what? It has been 2 months, I can’t sleep on this mattress any longer. My first screw on the bed was by the Sleep Number people. They have this thing rigged. Salesperson at store was great. Customer service people could care less. I could just picture them chuckling and saying to themselves “got another one”.

    Sleep Number is the best and we love it. It's the most comfortable mattress and feels like I'm sleeping in a cloud. We have four of them and two are in our RV and the other two at the house. We love their sales reps at the mall. They were good people and they have a sense of humor. We always enjoyed chit-chatting with them. They were just very friendly and outgoing. The mattresses were delivered to us but we put them together. We would love to have a Queen that's separated. But we'd have a twin size to sleep on it if they did that.

    The foam padding that goes around the bed which is under the sheet so that the mattress has got some sturdiness to the outside edges should be made sturdier. I end up sitting on the edge of the bed a lot or my dog shove us over to the edge of the bed to sleep, and so that gets worn down faster than anything. But other than that, it's a fabulous product. It's the bed we have ever owned and we'll never own any other kind.

    I have two smart classics blankets - the pewter and the wheat colors. The pewter I have had no issues with however the wheat purchased in September 17 washed once pilled in a manner in which we had to vacuum both our washer and dryer's out. We also spent over an hour vacuuming the blanket. We spent 30 mins on hold with customer service to be told that the manufacturer (you) say this is normal wear and tear and that you can not do anything. A path of pilling from one room to another is normal??!? That's ridiculous. No one should buy this blanket in this color and Sleep Number should have done something to make this right as I am no longer able to use the blanket because in additional to the lost money for the blanket, it could also break our washer and dryer or clogged our vents and started a fire. I expected more from your company and its products.

    I want to break this into two parts. The service and process of buying the product and the service to setup the bed in house. I will start with the good. The employees that setup my bed did a wonderful job, very polite and courteous. I would give them a 4 or 5 rating. Now the purchasing process. I went to a brick and mortar store to check out each of the options but I purchased the mattress online. During the process, I explained I have an existing adjustable bed that I purchased from Sleep Number during my first purchase and that I wanted to get a new split top to put on this bed. No problem.

    I was told I could purchase a new remote so that each side of the adjustable bed could be raised independently. Today it is one remote that pigtails to each side of the bed and raises them together. So I go ahead with the purchase which online took forever. I am a veteran and just before I went ahead with the purchase I registered on the Sleep Number site as a veteran as they were offering a discount. So I continue with the process. As we are wrapping up I asked to apply the discount I just received for registering as a veteran only to find out I was supplied an expired coupon and that it could not be honored. Really? I just got it 10 minutes ago from you. So I am frustrated but go ahead with the order just because I really like the beds.

    Today the bed was installed so I contact the Sleep Number service to get the replacement remote only to be told by the rep's that they have never heard of the bed frame (again was purchased through Sleep Number) and that I cannot get a replacement remote. So I spent the extra money for a split top only to be told now I cannot use it because I cannot get the remote! I am guessing if I would have bought through the store things would have worked out better or at least known the truth about this.

    I would not recommend buying a bed from Sleep Number. My back has never hurt so bad. I tried to return it before 30 days and they told me I had to wait until my 30 days because their computer system could not process returns before that. Great. Now I have to call back. Called back at my 30. Was told I could either pay $179 for them to come pick it up or $120 to ship it by myself. Unbelievable... Once I showed my dissatisfaction regarding this, the customer service rep got an attitude. Horrible bed, horrible experience. Soooo overpriced for a glorified air mattress.

    We are happy with our old Sleep Number we've had for 12 years and it's still being used. We were considering to buy a new one and the Sleep Number sales rep was very helpful and very familiar with our old bed. He was able to point out the differences between the old one and the new. With the new one that we got, I like that I could adjust the back and the legs. Also, I like its firmness which is the primary aspect of the bed and each side has a separate setting which is very advantageous. The new one is quite a bit different from the old in terms of the size and it seems like there’s more space under the new one.

    We went to Sleep Number to purchase a bed for the master bedroom. It's a king split with the flexible fit addition. We had hoped that we could both sleep in the same bed with the Sleep Number being able to reduce my husband snoring. However that was not the case.     We bought a bed from Sleep Number more than 10 years ago and it was time for an upgrade. I sleep on a very hard bed while my husband sleeps on a very soft one so the fact that we could get one bed that could accommodate both were high on the priority list, plus I sometimes adjust mine from week to week depending on what kind of workouts I’ve done or what my work week has been like. So, it’s nice to have that adjustability and not be stuck with one choice of firmness. We also got the bedding and pillows in addition to the adjustable lift king that comes with the ability to raise and lower the foot and head. It was a whole package.

    We made two trips to Sleep Number for this purchase. One was on a Saturday then we went to some of their competitors first to see if there was anything we might like better, just by chance, in a conventional mattress. But there wasn’t, so we went back to their store the next day. We used the same sales rep and he was very professional. He recognized that he was dealing with someone that had purchased before so it did not feel like a hard sell at all. My husband and I don’t like it when we’ve made a decision and someone tries to talk us into something else so we appreciated that he let us make our decisions and didn’t try to change our minds about anything. The first day, he walked us through the different models that Sleep Number had come out with since we bought our first one. Then, on the second day, it was finalizing the order and getting the paperwork taken care of. It was very easy.

    We were shopping on Labor Day weekend and they were very busy but Sleep Number had enough staff people to deal with everyone that walked in their door. We could not say that for their competitors who were also very busy but only had one staff person working. One, in particular, had us waiting for 20 minutes for their salesperson to talk to us and that was very aggravating. So, I appreciated that Sleep Number was staffing their stores correctly. We got the bed delivered and their delivery team was great. We didn’t have to do anything other than open the door and they took care of everything else so it was perfect. We absolutely love the bed and I always tell all my friends to get a Sleep Number ever since we had our very first one. I’ve also said that everyone would be much happier with a Sleep Number bed. It’s continually customizable so that is well-worth any premium in price.

    My husband might not be quite as ecstatic about the bed as I am because he’s not as particular as I am about the mattress that he sleeps on. So, he might have been convinced to go to a conventional mattress if the price had been a lot cheaper. But when we went looking at quality mattresses, we didn’t find any to be cheaper than Sleep Number. I also insisted on it because I didn’t want to be stuck with a conventional mattress that may be fine today, but not acceptable three months from now when stress has built up at work or maybe I’m doing a new exercise routine or I’m sick. I put my foot on it and the husband acquiesced.

    We purchased a Sleep Number bed on 11/15/17. We had to wait 4 weeks for the delivery of the bed. The day before our scheduled delivery, I received a text that they would be here between 5pm-8pm. At 7:30pm the day of delivery, we received a call from the driver stating he was running behind and was not going to be able to make it. He told us that customer service should have contacted us in the early afternoon letting us know. No one called. In the meantime, I tore our old bed apart and moved it out of the room. After going around and around with Customer Service (they wanted to reschedule in mid-January), we were given another delivery date of yesterday.

    Yesterday morning, we received a call from a customer service supervisor assuring us that our bed was on the delivery truck and would be delivered. Unfortunately, she was not able to give us a time. At 4pm, I called back again to check on the status. Again I was promised we would have our bed prior to 8pm. At 9pm last night, we tried contacting customer service again but they were closed. So now besides putting our bed back together and tearing it apart twice, I've lost an entire day sitting around and waiting. We have cancelled our order. Unfortunately, I am out now the $500 for the split sheets and mattress pad since I washed them. So unbelievably disappointed. My husband has a broken back and is in a wheelchair. We were hoping a new bed would improve his pain. We will never try to purchase this bed again. How could we possibly trust they would service it timely? Going to take our business elsewhere.

    I have had the Sleep Number bed for 4 years. I am the only one who sleeps on it and I am under 200 lbs. I do not misuse it and I am not in any way rough on it. Recently it started to deflate during the night. I followed the troubleshooting directions to find out that it is the air chamber. I contacted the company and was told that it was covered, but prorated. I don't usually read all of the fine print and I am sure that I missed the point that says that a bed that advertises a 25 plus year warranty would not last 5 years without me paying more for normal use. I am EXTREMELY unhappy. I am looking for another bed that can't deflate!

    Sleep Number's sales rep was fantastic and he was very patient with me. When they were still in the mall in Peoria, I'd come in and out of the store once a week for about a month thinking if I really needed the bed because it cost a lot of money. I finally bought the bed and we loved it. We got some information in the mail that Sleep Number beds were going on sale, and I needed new sheets, so we stopped in and bought another bed and the sales rep was great too. Our first purchase was a little on the warm side so we got a different one. The delivery team was wonderful on both times that we purchased. They wore booties and they were very quick and got things together. They were fantastic.

    I ended up in Spring Field one day and their store was still in the mall. I told them that I bought an extra sheet that I didn't like. My husband said it was like sleeping under a Kleenex and he didn't like them and they're more than happy to look up what sheet I bought and what I didn't like. Also, my husband has changed pillows a couple of times and they look up what he had the last time. They have been more than helpful. Also, they've all been equally nice in all the stores that we visited.

    The only thing with our king size bed this time is that when the feet and the head goes up, it leaves a very prominent indentation in the middle which is weird. So we don't sleep very close together now. But I read about it in the comments so it wasn't surprising. We went to Hawaii last year and we were there for about 8 days and I was so anxious to get home to my Sleep Number bed. We’ve told lots of people looking for bed to try the Sleep Number. We've also told them how patient they are and that they would let them come in and out and lay down on their bed in the middle of the showroom.

    I ordered a sheet set and blanket online. Only AFTER I submitted my payment was I informed that my order will arrive in 7-14 business days. I used the chat option to see if it could be shipped to a store. I was told no. I asked if there was any way to expedite. I was told no. I asked if I could cancel the order if I could find the items in a store. I was told yes. I was not offered any solutions nor did the rep I chatted with offer to locate the items in a location near me. Just "no" and that's all. So my calling began.

    I called the closest store and the items were not in stock. I called the store an hour away from me and I had to LEAVE A MESSAGE. I called 15 minutes later and still no one answered the phone. I love my Sleep Number bed. However, I am very disappointed in the lack of customer service as a result of my most recent order.     Don't buy a Bed from the Greenwood Indiana Store. Absolutely a nightmare. (LIED TO) Then try and cover up the damage when they say they will make things right. ** on that also. At this point tired of arguing with them to make things right. It's pretty obvious they have no intentions of doing the right thing. They wont even call you back in a timely manner. They would rather you just go away. It would be much easier for them that way. Unless you call them several times and hope they respond.

    My wife and I paid over 6k for the bed (cash sale) and truly do like the product. However I would NEVER recommend the Greenwood Store under any circumstances. That's ok. The BIG COMPANY WINS AGAIN. Piss on the little guy that helps make you company continue to grow. I sure hope you take this advise very seriously and never purchase a DAMN thing from this location. One of the very worse display of professionalism I have experienced. Stay away. They will tell you anything to get a sale.

    Full disclosure - we bought the mattress and frame through a private sale. The mattress is great, Wife enjoys her Sleep # and I enjoy mine... The massage mode is also amazing. The mattress we got is the i8 version and has a nice plush top too. Perfect for us. However, they control their customers by limiting anyone who buys it second hand from being able to use the App that is advertised as part of the bed. In order to use the App, you need a registered account with Select Comfort and you must register your ORDER # with them in order to use the App.

    I spoke to customer service months ago who confirmed this information. But if I buy a car, I don't lose access to features included with the car. If I buy a computer, I still get to use the features of the operating system it comes with... but Select Comfort doesn't get it - they FORCE people to buy their bed direct and have their own Order # to use the App that is actually built into the control module that comes with our bed. The App is on my phone... but they won't let me use it. Not right. What will this mean to us - we tell others it's a decent bed BUT their software is crap. They are forcing users to buy direct from them and not resell their bed.

    We have had our Sleep Number bed for less than 2 years. A couple of months ago my side started deflating in the middle of the night. This was similar to a problem that occurred right after we got the bed. Sleep Number sent a new part via mail and when the repair guy checked it he said he couldn't find a problem. Now I am experiencing something similar and my husband has spent countless hours on the phone in which they walk him through fixing, really? This is a $6,000.00 bed and less than 2 years old and my husband has to fix it. They are sending another part (3rd time same part) so I have no illusion that this will fix the problem, but am left with very few choices. Buyer beware, they love to sell you the product, but when you have an issue, be prepared to take phone classes on fixing your bed. Needlessly to say, I will be purchasing a new bed very soon and will NEVER, NEVER purchase a Sleep Number bed.

    I love the mattress. What I didn't like is the misleading salesperson I dealt with and the fact that it cost me money. He implied that the bed came with 2 remotes. They actually expect me to run around and find the remote if it's on my husband's side. I didn't mark them down because of this because after I complained they sent me a 2nd one without charge. BUT the dual comfort mat only cools if the room is 72 or lower and only has 3 settings. We told the salesman we didn't have air and he said we could set it at any temp we wanted. No temp settings just 3 speeds and won't work for us anyway without air conditioning since it just circulates the air in the room! I found out in time and am returning it but I HAVE TO PAY SHIPPING for something I should have known and wouldn't have purchased if the salesman knew the product or was honest (whichever reason I wasn't told the whole truth). And I can't just take it back to the store.

    Plus I have to take off work and drive about 12 miles to find a UPS location! The store I could go when I'm shopping and after work! The bed I would actually give a 4 if it weren't for that. Also the frame-spend the extra and get the one that glides so you are both still next to each other when one side is elevated and the other isn't. Another misleading piece of information. Said we didn't need to purchase that option if we didn't have a headboard-made no difference for the dog. When one of us is elevated and the other isn't he falls between-not just down but I can't see my husband because he's 2-3 feet back. Hard to talk-hard to explain but believe me I'd rather have spent the extra there than on the dual mat!

    Silly me, after shelling out big bucks for this bed I thought someone would fix serious problems. After about 6 months one side has developed an air leak. Apparently I must diagnose and fix this myself. They sent me a video with intricate instructions for tearing the bed down to the air bladders. Then I must put in some plugs that are taped somewhere. Then I must put the bed back together and wait to see if the air loss persists. Depending on the answer they send me parts which I must tear down the bed again and install. If I had known I was the repairman, a purchase this expensive and complex would not happen. I will continue to write complaint on Google, Yelp and everywhere I can find. This is a rip.

    My husband was having some back issues and Sleep Number was recommended by a friend of mine. I had picked the one I wanted but when I went to where they were actually going to have a Labor Day sale and I told them what I had been looking for, they showed me the one that was on sale. We compared things and after we went through all of them, I ended up switching models. The one I was shown had as much stuff as the one that I was planning on purchasing and we were able to get the massager as well so we had a little bit better deal when I went into the store to get it. The salesman was very nice too. He laid down everything and we tried all of those and lied down. He recommended something and we ended up with the perfect fit for that as well.

    We got the bedding, the mattress pad and the pillows, and we were very pleased. The delivery team set up and went through everything. Although the guy said going through it was going to be quick because we got notes, they were here for close to two hours. He was a great reference and he just played with it. He also made sure the bed was connected to the internet. The thing was to get in there, play with it then start on and leave that setting. He said it’s harder to find the correct adjustment and we left that setting for at least seven days until we're used to it then we adjusted from there instead of switching it everyday. He also told me if had any questions to be sure and call.

    The only thing is that the massager makes a lot of noise but it's because we have a wood floor and it's on the middle level with a basement between us. It’s funny because when you turn it on, there's a whirring sound. But other than that, we’ve really been satisfied with the bed. I could see a big difference in our sleeping. My husband has sleep apnea and the bed has improved that tremendously. I will highly recommend Sleep Number and as a matter of fact, my sister has purchased one too.

    My husband has wanted to get a Sleep Number bed for some time. I was against it, but went ahead with it and the sales rep was great. I found my Sleep Number and we ended up trying it out. I was thinking it's like a water bed, but I love it. The delivery people came in, set it up and did a great job. I have the heating and cooling mattress that goes on top of the bed. It's comfortable and I sleep better and don't wake up achy. However, the foam stretched out, so it was buckling. I've had to fight it and pull it so I called, and it was out of warranty. I ended up having to buy that part, but they discounted it. Hopefully, this one won't do the same. We also purchased one for my mother.

    Sleep Number customer service and delivery are the worsest I have ever seen. We bought a C12 and the bed was torn in the middle and I tried to reach CS and no one respond for that either by email or by phone. Also, we did a mistake of ordering Sleep Number C4 for our kids and that also the delivery guys brought a different bed and they took the old mattress with them. Kids have to sleep without mattress. Sleep number is their birthday and x-mas present. SLEEP NUMBER IS A GRINCH. We have to wait for more weeks now. We really feel that we should have gone with Tempurpedic. Lesson Learned- NEVER EVER BUY ANYTHING FROM SLEEP NUMBER. FOLKS- IT IS A KIND ADVICE.

    Tried to call to return due to more back issues with this bed. Said we had to keep it 30 days before returning. Listen. No one uses the bed. It sits unused taking up space. I want it returned ASAP to go back to our old bed. Also we were never told about the adjustable base not being returnable. Started order online. Someone called from Sleep Number and did the order for us. No store not online. Wife had failed epidurals leading to major back problems and this bed makes it worse. I understand shipping and set up fees not being returned but a base come on it’s a small metal frame. Also delivery was crap. They set it up and basically said lay on it to find your number. No tutorial at all.

    We purchased this bed at the end of October. The day they installed we called because the right side of the bed sagged greatly compared to the left side. We were assured a tech would be right back to correct. After 2 additional calls a promises to correct, no one ever showed to any of the appointments. We had to call twice to return since they don't honor their own policies, promises or simple appointments. Customer service reps couldnt care less that I've missed work multiple times to wait on no-show techs. They never offered a discount, correction or anything other than the scripted "I understand your frustration". I have never been so angry and appalled about such a lack of professional responsibility. Stay far far away!

    We purchased a Sleep Number bed and loved it very much until we started having problems with the top zip padded cover. We called 3 times and have been told it will cost almost $1000 to replace and that it is normal wear and tear. I would look at the warranty very close before purchasing because they don't stand behind the product very well. Most companies would replace the product when you call and they say it must be defective like I was told by a couple different employees.

    I have serious health problems after my last cancer surgery and can't work. And the bed is causing my back problems and told that I would have to spend all this money to fix the problem. Not the kind of company I would suggest. They may have it listed in the fine print but still doesn't make it a good company to do business with. The bed was only two years old the first time I contacted the company. You expect a bed to last longer than this when you spend $2500. Was wanting to get another adjustable bed from them but won't spend even more if this is the type of warranty they have.

    We ordered a Sleep Number over a year ago. We had it custom set up with all the extras. My wife and I slept on this bed for 2 weeks before deciding that this was the most uncomfortable bed we had ever had. The 30 day return policy is a joke. They make you pay for the return and give you no option to take it to a store. Also they refused to take the extras back. Over a year later they are wanting us to pay over 900 dollars for 2 sets of sheets that were never opened and the Sleep Number app service as well. The true colors of their marketing tactics are as a snake in the grass. Be warned. This is a terrible product and even worse customer service. 2 years later we are still being told that we should have returned the extras, but they will not take them??? Someone please explain that logic???

    I cannot express how unhappy I am with this company. I was excited about this new bed. In the showroom it was great, quiet and seemed very comfortable. I assumed it was like a regular mattress with bonus benefits. Little did I know when it arrived in two boxes and I watch the two delivery men basically blow up two air mattresses and then put an egg crate on top of it and call it a day.

    My husband and I both had the worst nights sleep. We heard each other moving around, it was noisy, uncomfortable and we kept waking up despite trying to sleep for 10 hours. I called to find out how I could return it and the woman told me I could not for 30 days. Then she also told me that basically it was my fault for not realizing how the bed was constructed when I informed her the delivery men were saying most folks did not realize it as well. All I want is my money back, a good nights sleep!! I am so frustrated it is beyond. I own a blow up mattress, I don't want another one.

    The mattress' anchors known as shark's teeth have failed and the mattress hangs off the frame by a full 7 inches and cannot be reset. When I contacted Sleep Number customer service they acknowledged the problem and said there was nothing they could do. They said I would have to take it apart myself and referred me to their website for instructions. We spent 3,000 dollars for this bed and diy customer service. The only reason for the 2 stars is it is comfortable. The lack of any support (pun intended) from Sleep Number. Next time it's memory foam!

    We purchased a Sleep Number mattress and base and we’re happy with the overall quality. We previously owned a Sleep Number for 12 years. We wanted an upgrade and moved the old mattress into a different room. My wife and I went to a couple different stores and settled on one store we liked better than the others. The sales professionals were great and very helpful. We tried out the beds and finally decided on the one that we liked the best. We scheduled a home delivery but it was a disaster. We learned Sleep Number was using contractors and they weren't using Sleep Number personnel.

    It was apparent that the first two guys who brought the new bed had very little experience in delivery, customer interaction and setting up the beds. They ripped the mattress cover in the process of setting up the bed. We called the store back and the contractors talked to customer service who said it was totally unacceptable. The new bed was entirely replaced with another new bed. The second team was more experienced than the first team. We recommended that my brother-in-law and his wife get a Sleep Number. They went to a store in Alexandria, Virginia. They ended up liking the bed and bought it. Their delivery team was Sleep Number people. They said the delivery and set up was flawless.

    My husband has had two back surgeries and he was looking to try a Sleep Number bed for support and comfort over our traditional mattress/boxspring. We stopped into a new store in Bluffton, SC to try one out and decided to purchase a FlexFit adjustable bed for the 100 nights trial period. We felt for this price he wasn't feeling much difference, so we called to do a return. He was told the pump was NOT refundable! What good is the pump without the bed you ask... it's their way of trying you to keep the bed! This bed cost over $6,000 not including mattress pad and special sheets. I am extremely disappointed and feel used! This company is not out to satisfy their customers, but to keep money in their pockets. NOTE: At cost of these beds they still charge you a setup fee of over $175!

    We had a Sleep Number before and we like it so we got our second one. We walked in and the woman was nice as she could be. We said we needed a mattress, and my husband said, “And it’s this kind,” and we walked. She told us try and see what our Sleep Number would be. She asked if we mind lying down and we said, “No.” And then she put a thing down for us to put our feet on, so we wouldn’t have to take our shoes off. She fixed the Sleep Number, told us what it was, and we said, “Fine.” And we went over, paid for it, and got the delivery set up.

    We figured out when it could be that would suit them and us. The gentlemen were supposed to be here in the afternoon and then they called in the morning asking if it would be agreeable if they came in the morning. That suited me much better by that time. I said, “Absolutely.” They told me what time they’d be here and they were within 10 minutes ahead of time. They came in, introduced themselves and took stuff apart. They took the old mattress out, brought the new mattress in, set it up, and they were out of here. It was very nice.

    We’re very pleased with our new Sleep Number. We’ve had their products at home for about 12 years now. The only thing is, we’re wondering now if we should’ve looked further in the store as far as other products. We now see things advertised whereas it will automatically lower and make your head higher, etc. But we knew what we wanted, and we got it. And we plan to go back and look at the sheets that are made specifically for the mattress. Our current full and bushy sheets are a bear to get on because of the thickness of the spring.

    Everybody at Sleep Number has been very nice. The delivery was excellent. They were on time and let us know exactly when they would be here, and did exactly what they were supposed to. We had a Tempur-Pedic before and we switched to Sleep Number. We had the last Sleep Number for six or seven years and we’ve had another for a month and a half. It’s fine and they're good quality. The only problem is somebody needs to make a new bed skirt that would fit better and easier on these. I find it difficult to put the bottom sheet on when you're over 55 or 65.

    We've also had trouble with our phone working the sides occasionally. Sometimes it's difficult for the phones to connect to it and do it properly. We don't have a remote with it and they told us we had to use our phones but if I wanted a remote, I could order one online. Everything's okay as far as everything else and everybody has been very nice. Whatever we've asked, they've helped us with it and been very accommodating.

    We had been looking at Sleep Number for a couple of years and when my wife got pregnant, I thought the bed would be really good for her positioning, to be able to sleep in a different position and for the bed to be able to adjust to each one of us. My wife likes it a lot softer and a lot firmer. We got the bed, the adjustable base, a set of sheets and recently bought pillows and a couple of more sheets.

    The first time we talked with their salespeople, it was very easy and non-pressuring, just talking about what they thought we wanted. They said, "Let me get you into Sleep Number just so you can see what your Sleep Number is going to be." They also let us know what the features were, what the potentials could be, let us know about the best and brightest of all of them and let us choose as far as which we wanted to go with anywhere from their lowest end to high end that they had. They told me what my comfort level would be and let us try all of the beds comfortably so I felt pretty good about it.

    We scheduled for a home delivery and the delivery people were very professional and friendly. They came on time, had little booties, got everything down, nice and clean. They explained to us how to use the app and got it set up. Our Sleep Number is a great product. It is definitely quality and I see the value in it. I'm still adjusting to it but it's definitely way better. I'm very happy that we chose to do this.

    We bought our bed in 2015. Got the top of the line. The salesman pushed the option where we could each control our heads and feet. He assured me that it would not feel like separate beds. I said I wanted the half split option... which is what I thought I ordered. But the bed came separated. I was confused but kept it. I wanted to return it but called the salesman. Said it was good anyway and that it would give us more control and would feel like one bed. He was wrong. DO NOT get this if you like hugging your husband.

    There is always a space in the middle. The beds shift AND the mattresses become misshapen and tilt to one side. I am always moving them back onto the base. I just hate this bed. When it was straight and the beds together it worked well. But for a tag of 8k for base and mattress I’d choose something else next time. We for a fee and after long frustrating calls had them come out and “fix” it. I guess what the function that keeps the beds closer together broke. The mattresses still conk over to one side. I have had a better night sleep on a cheap air mattress. It’s so disheartening. I was so excited for this bed. Salesman said it would last us 10 years... who can afford to change it after two with that tag? I know if I call again I will get the same runaround. I hate feeling like I’m in a separate bed to my spouse.

    Bought in MA about three years ago. Moved to CT and the movers stripped the plug off the wire harness and lost it. Called the MA store and was told they don't do repairs and I am out of their service area. Called the CT store and was told they don't service their beds.     We wanted adjustable comfort and we got a Sleep Number split king. We’ve had Sleep Number products for two years, and this last time was our second Sleep Number purchase. Everything with the reps and the overall quality of the bed was excellent. I like that I can adjust the comfort but my wife has one issue with it.     I have been a Sleep Number customer for over 20 yrs. With my first purchase, I had leaks in the air mattresses & was told to DIY the repairs. I refused & required a "technician" come to my home to replace/repair. The CSR didn't like that, but someone came with replacement parts & repaired the bed satisfactorily. That lasted for over 10 yrs.

    Due to medical issues, we purchased another bed - split - for almost $10,000 less than 3 yrs ago. For 2 of those 3 yrs, our controls have not worked on either side & the mattresses are separating. To get this JUST looked at is almost $200 -- THAT'S LUDICROUS!! My husband & I are in our 70's & cannot physically crawl under the bed to DIY the problem, even if we knew what we were doing! Electricians, HVAC, plumbers - all skilled workmen - don't charge that much for a service call. This is a ripoff! Your company should be ashamed of charging exorbitant prices for basic service. I don't expect it to be free, but reasonable!!!! Never again!

    I purchased a Sleep Number bed in Vancouver, Washington and was set up with home delivery, which came with over a $200 fee - I was fine with it because it seemed necessary and convenient, let me start by saying it was far from convenient. My order tracker said my order would be arriving the 28th, 2 weeks after my purchase. The bed did not arrive on the 28th, on the 29th I received a call from a young man letting me know they would "DEFINITELY" be arriving between 5 pm and 8 pm and would give me a courtesy call 30 minutes before arrival. At 7:45 pm I received a phone call from the same person saying they were running behind and were unsure if they would be able to make it, I asked them to please keep me updated on their arrival time as I had already missed 2 nights of work waiting for them.

    9:30pm, the same guy calls and says they won't be able to install because their boss said they had to be back at the shop by 10 pm and all they could do was drop all the things off and I could set it up myself (a process he told me takes him, a professional 40 minutes...) I didn't pay $200 then miss out on $500 I would have made at work to set it up myself... So he said he would have his boss call me to reschedule, I still have not received a phone call. I assumed they would call and deliver the next day since this was set to deliver for 2 weeks. So I call the 1800 number for sleep number and tell a very polite lady my story, she apologizes profusely and said she would try to get in contact with home delivery.

    After being on hold for 15 minutes she returns and tells me no one could give her any information as to why I had been put on the back burner but that they had a new delivery date for me of the 5th, ANOTHER week away and another day I will have to miss work and this was the soonest that was available. I am seriously disappointed, I had high hopes from the amazing recommendations from family and friends experiences and mine has been terrible. Can't believe I spent thousands of dollars and no one can even treat me like I matter. I'm just another number.

    We are highly considering canceling our purchase. No one even offered to refund our delivery charge we paid handsomely for. If I would have known this is how it was going to be I would have either picked up the bed myself and saved myself the fee and my attendance at work and had my bed right away or just gone somewhere else. The 2 stars are for the Salesman who was great and the lady I spoke with in customer service, other than that I'm furious.

    I ordered a Sleep Number bed in Sept. 2017 and I originally purchased the bed I was gun-hoe about getting a new bed that I can adjust my "Sleep Number", head, feet, and got the vibrating option too. Well the delivery was a week or two and postponed another week or so later due to the hurricane. Once they delivered the bed and base I wondered what happened to the rest of the bed (meaning the headboard and footboard and rails) that I thought came with the purchase of the base.

    I called customer service and they let me know that the headboard and footboard are not sold with the purchase of the bed and base. I told customer service that the sales associate was not clear to me about not getting the headboard and footboard with the purchase of the base, the customer service guy said that "oh well, I don't know what to tell you." With the amount of money that I was willing to spend on this unit (bed and base only) I would be able to buy a whole bedroom set with mattress included. It has been about a 45 days give or take from the date of delivery and I have not had a good night’s sleep since I threw out my old bed for my overpriced Sleep Number bed. The whole time I felt like I was sleeping on a cardboard box that had air mattress underneath it, no matter which number I adjusted it to.

    I call up today and I want to cancel my order and the lady on the phone was trying to get me to keep it and letting me know with no extra cost to me that I can receive padding and a mattress topper, and by the time I received the topper and foam that my 100 day trial would end soon and I probably still be unhappy, and that I did not want my purchase anymore. So she canceled my order, but I had to purchase two shipping labels at 29.30 (I believe) to ship back the bed and the motor for the bed, and I have to purchase boxes to ship the bed and motor back with too. Lastly, I was also unaware of is that the purchase of the base ($2,533) is non-refundable as well, which was not clarified by the sales associate. He did suggest it because he said that if I did not purchase the base it could void the warranty.

    Upon going into the store shopping for a bed, we were guaranteed 100 nights that if for any reason we did not like the bed we could return it. We purchased a Sleep Number ILE, we had to wait 5 wks before getting bed due to salesman error ordering us a Cali king instead of a regular king split. We received bed on 10/3/17. I was very uncomfortable. I called the store several times, even customer svc. They all told me the same thing, I need to find my right Sleep Number position. I tried every setting. My husband noticed the left side of my body was higher than my right side laying in the middle of the mattress. Called customer svc again. They said it had to be a defective pump. They shipped out a new pump and another part.

    On 11/27/17 they installed new pump and other part. The 2 svc techs stated we needed 2 other parts besides the pump because they too were defected. I told them just take the bed. Enough of sleeping on the sofa and recliner. They said they couldn't take the bed. I called customer svc, told them the bed was defective from day one and ALL the problems we encountered medically. I finally spoke to a supervisor, was told that we would have to pay a $500.00 restocking fee and over $200.00 for return shipping. I see nowhere in our contract this info about these fees. What happened to the 100 night guarantee. Sleep Number Corp does not stand behind their guarantee and we will no be scammed. We will pursue this to the fullest. Sleep Number is gonna give us a song and a dance about how sorry they are about our problems encountered with their product. But we're not dancing to their music.

    When we bought our i8 Sleep Number bed, we had no problems having them install it, but just before the return policy expired, we complained to Sleep Number that the bed was cratering - meaning sagging under each of us. They have basically no customer service - it's awful. Their way to fix the problem was to send us gray inch thick foam pads to lay under the mattress cover top to bolster the sagging area. That worked for two weeks and then when we called them back, they said, with absolutely no concern, "You're out of warranty." Nice. Then they told us all we could do is send them $1000 for a new pillow top, which we refused to do and the return policy was then null and void. We had called the store we bought it from too and believe me, after you buy this POS, they want nothing to do with you and give you a long distance number. That's it. That is your help.

    This is one of the worst companies I have ever seen and I wonder that they are still in business. Since nothing can be done with this thing, we have to rotate the mattress top every night and it isn't square, so half the time it doesn't fit the bed. But as soon as you sleep on it, the cratering starts again and we wake up in fairly deep depressions with aching backs. I have severe back problems and now they are worse. I weigh less than 100 pounds and my husband is about 140. We are hardly a weight problem for the mattress. I am so sick of this thing and I absolutely hate it. The product is worthless and the customer service could not care less. Thanks to this thing, my back is so much worse and I wake up in complete misery. I would never recommend this company or their product to anyone. Go elsewhere! We are going out tomorrow to buy another mattress and throw this one in the dump where it belongs. Actually, if I could, I would give it NO STARS.

    I bought this Split King 9 months ago. I called customer service after 1 week because one of the remotes didn't work and the mattress has a large dip on each side. Customer service said this is not normal but gave me no solution. I called back to see if I could get another customer service employee that wanted to help. He wanted me to take the bed apart and see if the air mattress was flat. I did but when I called back he was not the one to help me. That lady got me so frustrated that I assumed it might be a joke. It was not a joke, she just obviously hated her job. The remote on my side still does not work, I use my wife's. My desperate problem now is the dip keeps getting deeper and deeper.

    If you put a broomstick across the bed you can put your hand under it. I am 5'7" and weight 195. But the bed appears I must weight 595. When the bed is made it looks ridiculous! I have increased the number to 55 in an effort to keep from falling in a hole. But it has the hole (Dip) regardless. I have called customer service many times during my return window but just sat on hold with no indication of how many customers ahead of me. The last 2 weeks I have wasted lunch hours with no success just sitting on hold. I would expect bad customer service with a vacuum cleaner or something cheap, but this is a 6000.00 bed, a luxury item.

    Horrific Customer Service - Worst Purchasing Experience Ever. Our P5 arrived Monday 10/30/17 with missing and apparently used parts. Based on assurance from supervisor that they would overnight parts and have crew there to install that week, we let our old set go. Call arrived hours later to schedule installation weeks later, but that was unacceptable since they had promised installation that week.     We were so excited when we first purchased the i10 Split King in 2012. Over the years we have become so miserable. If you don't want to ever snuggle with your spouse this is the bed for you. Having two XL twins to create the king bed leaves a constant crater in the middle. We purchased thinking how nice it would be for each of us to control sitting up in bed if the other was sleeping. And while that's true just forget having any intimacy again. Two years ago we broke down to purchase the new split king at the top only and when they came to deliver they told us our bed was put together incorrectly and that was the problem. They advised to send the new one back but we still have the same problem. Do yourself a favor and don't purchase!

    Less than 6 months after spending $8,000 on Sleep Number bed, one side started losing air. Zero customer service other than giving me instructions on how to check product. Decided to pay the service call fee ~$200 & found faulty air pump leaking air. It's a manufacturing defect & within warranty, so luckily they are sending me the $600 part for free. Unfortunately I have to do repair myself based on email video tutorial and won't send tech to fix covered manufacturer's defect! This is a luxury product with a self-service customer service policy. Very disappointed!!! Tech who identified problem even told me they have zero follow up & I would have to do everything myself. So disappointed - it's an overpriced air mattress.     We had a Sleep Number mattress for 22 years. We really like it so, we bought another when it wore out. The sales rep was very good, informative and showed us all the features. Our minds were made up with what we wanted when we went in but he showed us other options. We stayed with the one we got, the new mattress with the Sleep IQ. We also got the pillows and bedding. He has also followed up at least three times since our purchase to find out how we were doing and if we had any problems, complaints, issues or questions. Also, we got a call from the delivery guys 20 minutes before they came. They arrived within the timeframe that they had specified earlier. They installed the bed and they were out in a very short period of time. They were amazing.

    We enjoy the bed and we look forward to seeing our analysis every morning. We are surprised sometimes when I've slept like a dead log. I slept better but it says that my Sleep IQ was only a 75. My sleep was underrated but I was happy. In addition, we recommended Sleep Number to our son due to our first mattress. He has a Sleep Number with the adjustable base. He loves it and we're glad.

    For 6 years, we’ve had a regular Sleep Number bed that didn’t adjust. I was looking for something with a thicker mattress top on it because I’ve been having some back issues, so we purchased a whole new bed. They're very nice over there at Sleep Number. We got to interact again with John, the same gentleman who sold us our first one, so it was really good. We scheduled home delivery. They came in, set it up, and took out whatever they needed.     Over the years, I've had five Sleep Number. I had two at home and 1 at the ranch. Now, I've got two at my daughter’s house and my other daughter has one. I'm fixing a room at my daughter's house so we bought a twin bed that lifts the head and the feet. We found them very reliable and comfortable. Sleep Number also has very efficient and thorough sales team. They’re good people and they make sure that we’re happy. We had the beds delivered to our home and the team were experts. They had to carry the boxes upstairs. They even showed us how to use it and helped us with our numbers.

    I also love the sheets and like the duvet I bought from Sleep Number. My daughter had the cooling pad on hers and she really likes that. The cover of one of the beds was damaged by us over the years so we had a reason to use the lifetime warranty. I contacted Sleep Number to see if I could purchase another one. They looked up my account and were able to provide me with another cover free of charge. It was a very desirable experience because I thought I needed to wash it because it was dirty. But they did that for me. I recommend Sleep Number to everybody that I talked to about mattresses.

    We bought the i10 bed and at that time the king size was 2 twin mattresses put together. Salesperson swore to me that these 2 mattresses would not come apart. Well they did and now we have a huge gap in the middle. Customer service told us to undo the mattresses and see if the foam was good. Everything inside both bed were good. So then they tried to sell me a p9 mattress which was $800.00 off for everyone. We bought 4 beds from this company and this is how they handle their customers? Do not buy any of their beds. They do not warrant anything! Customer service is a joke!

    We bought a Sleep Number back in 2006 and we still got it. We've enjoyed it so much that I got another one for my bedroom now that my wife and I are sleeping separately because of my medical problems. It's helped tremendously with my rest so I'm very happy with it. And our experience with their sales team has always been excellent. We've been to four different stores and have dealt with them over the years between buying bedding, etc. and about four different Sleep Numbers. We had our latest purchase delivered and the delivery team has been very good as well. They're very knowledgeable and they knew what they were doing. They did a very nice job of putting the bed together. They showed us the features of the bed and how to use it. We already have the same thing with the other bed that we have. It was the old 7000, as they called it back when we bought that one 11 years ago.

    The unit doesn't move on the platform, which I like a lot. I have put mine on an articulating bed frame that originally held an iComfort bed. I can elevate it without it moving. It works real well because they had the foot and it stays with the platform very well. The Sleep Number’s quality has been excellent. The only thing we've ever had to do is replace the pump on the old one, which was a very easy process.

    We bought their bedding about four months ago and the sheets are already ripping. They have been washed four times and the quality is terrible. We don't use anything harsh and just use Tide on them. And it's a gentle washing machine with a tumbler type of action, not anything that yanks and jerks. We were told that the lyocell that they used to use which shredded immediately in the drier is now being woven with cotton and that they would last longer but they haven't made it through four washings. And for $250, we think that was a rip off. So we’ll never do bedding with them again until they go to a cotton bedding because this wood pulp thing they're using feels really nice but it doesn't last. But we love the extra elastic on the sheets, they don't come off. But other than that, we've been very satisfied with our Sleep Number beds. We’d recommend them.

The quality of the bed is terrific and if anybody is ever having back problems like occasionally they get a sore back, the adjustability of the firmness of the bed is very helpful in that respect.

    I bought two Sleep Number beds years ago and I got my most recent one this summer. During my first purchase, we had a water bed and I didn’t like it, so I thought I’d try something else. I liked my first Sleep Number, so I bought another one to put on our fifth wheel. I’m satisfied with my two old Sleep Numbers. The only thing I'm not satisfied with is that with the king size one that we bought this year, it’s hard to keep the top sheet on it. I can get fitted sheets for the bottom sheet, but I haven’t found any fitted top sheet. The top sheet just won’t stay tucked under and it just keeps coming out. But I like that I can raise both the head and foot of the bed. The delivery was fine but they could have spent a little more time showing me how to use the controls. We sleep better with Sleep Number overall and my husband doesn’t snore as much.

    Customer service with this company is terrible! Waited two weeks for bed to be delivered. Bed was delivered with a broken pump and delivery men didn’t even have the courtesy to tell us!!! When we discovered that we couldn’t even sleep on it we called right away. The driver had already put in a ticket for a new pump. Had to wait another week for the new pump. They could’ve told us and brought our other bed back upstairs. We were without a bed for seven days. The store did offer to give us an old pump that they had so we made a trip out to the store to get the old pump so we had something to sleep on. The customer service people were very rude. Not friendly at all. Just terribly rude. We decided to send the bed back because we were so unhappy with the customer service department. They picked up the bed and ended up charging us $189 to do it. What a joke!!!

    I went to the Sleep Number store in Millbury, Massachusetts. The salesman was asked about the sleep guarantee. I asked him if I would have to pay the pick up fee. He said “no”. I asked him if the base and the bed where both refundable. He said “yes.” I was also given false information on the 25 year warranty. I called the one 800 number to verify his promises. I reached a rude rep named Hank. Hank was no help and made it clear he wasn't going to answer any of my questions. He passed the buck with me.

    He transferred me to a selection area. I spoke to someone else and they transferred me back to customer service which was Hank again. Hank was very rude and I told him he is leaving a bad taste in my mouth and I will not be considering a Sleep Number bed because of him. He said, "Too bad," and hung up the phone. I've been mislead by the salesman at the Millbury store and treated poorly by the 1800 rep Hank. Why would I consider paying $6000 for a bed if I'm treated this way? Famous sarcastically, “I would like to thank the salesman in this representative for preventing me from making a big mistake.”

    We purchased a Sleep Number 5000 bed in 2005 and we were very happy with the product that we got. We had it for 12 years, but then it started sinking in the middle, and it was time for another bed. The sales rep worked with us and I had several phone conversations with him before we actually made the purchase. He was fine, very knowledgeable, and to the point, and he walked us through the different products. We also asked him questions about being a loyal member. We ended up giving up our previous Sleep Number 5000 bed and going with a newer model. We also got the base which moves up and down. So, it's a little better for us, now that we're older.

    In a nutshell, the delivery team was great. They came in and they were efficient and very pleasant. They explained everything to us and the delivery was perfect. So far, the quality of the new Sleep Number bed that we purchased has been good. We got the model where the legs and the back lift up, but we have been having issues with the bottom part of the adjustable bed portion. A service guy came out and replaced a part, but we're still waiting for another part to come in because the bed is only functioning partially. That aside, the company was fair and efficient and our new Sleep Number bed is very comfortable. We're second-time buyers, so that has got to say something for the product.

    I had my first Sleep Number going on 13 years and it was time to replace it. I had referred enough people and I used the referral stuff to help me upgrade. And I recently purchased a C4. I like the comfort it gives and how it relieves the stress of my back pain. Even though I had a previous purchase in the store, they still treated me like a new customer. They didn't assume anything and they went through everything with me. The bed was delivered via UPS and I set it up myself. The process was pretty self-explanatory.

    I'm a chronic back pain sufferer and the only thing I don't like about the bed is that I don't want to get out of it because the only time during the day I'm really not in any pain is when I'm laying in my bed. I recently referred another friend of mine and his wife. He had been having back problems for years and his wife has some other medical problems where she has problems sleeping. They bought a bed and he's sleeping better now and he's thanking me because of the price, too. And I thought it's a pretty good product when people call me up and thank me for referring them.

    My parents have a Sleep Number bed and they told us a lot of good things about it. When my boyfriend and I moved in together, we needed to get a new mattress and we realized that we didn’t like the same type of mattress we had so we figured that the Sleep Number would be best. We originally bought a queen-sized bed, which was the iLE mattress. But three weeks sleeping on it, we realized that we needed a bigger one so we exchanged it for a king-sized bed. Now we have the Classic bed.

    The woman who assisted us was very professional and made me feel very comfortable. But since my parents were referring us, the sales reps looked up my parents' account to give them the referral and merged our account with theirs. So now, all of our stuff were under one customer account number and it's the biggest headache. We have tried talking to them and they won't split our customer numbers. They said that if we separate the accounts, whoever was going to be separated would lose the Sleep Number points that we’ve already accumulated. Since my parents had a Sleep Number for years and I was going to remove myself from theirs, I would lose the credit of buying our mattress as they would have to create a new profile for me. That’s the biggest down setter.

    I have the SleepIQ and my parents bought a new Sleep Number to upgrade theirs. They now have the SleepIQ, too, but there’s no way that they can access it since everything was registered under my name and my email address. SleepIQ is an app that tracks our sleeping patterns so it will tell us how well we’ve slept throughout the night based on what number we slept at. It can tell us if we were restless, if we toss and turn, or if we get up in the middle of the night. It’s a way to be able to figure out what our ideal sleep number is.

    Another thing is that when we first purchased our bed back in February, we were supposed to have it delivered the day that we moved into our apartment but the order never went through. It was billed but they never placed the order for shipment. So we didn’t get our bed until three weeks from when we moved in and eight weeks after we originally ordered the bed. But we got billed for it and started paying for it since we financed it. They have a good finance deal going on so we were paying for our bed before we actually got it.

    Other than that, we love the bed. It’s comfortable and if I'm not sleeping well because my back is hurting me, I can change the difference of the number and it can help that way. We have 25 different bed settings that we can choose from every night and it fluctuates based on whatever we want. I also looked at the cost and they guaranteed the bed for 25 years. If we’re getting the king-size bed, then we’re going to be spending about a thousand to $1,500 every time that we get a bed and we have to change the mattress about every seven years. So what we’re paying is cheaper over that timeframe since it’s one versus getting a conventional mattress.
