    We've passed in the store of Montgomery Mulholland Bethesda, Maryland and tested one Sleep Number bed for 10 minutes and thought buying one would be a good idea. We also have friends who have and like Sleep Number. The sales rep was very helpful, knowledgeable and instructive and the delivery was smooth as it could be. We have the bed since January 2017 and we like it a lot. We have the type of bed where the two tops of the beds could rise independently of each other. However, we had two sets of sheets and they both tore at the exact same place, where the sheet fit. W. We were advised that they have different levels of the sheets and they were having a lot of problems with the ones we've gotten. When we took the sheets back three weeks ago, Sleep Number replaced them immediately without any hassle and as nice as they could be about it. We're happy with Sleep Number and would recommend them to a friend.

    To make a long story short. We wanted a Cal. King four poster bed frame and a Sleep Number mattress to go into the bed. We ordered the mattress in Dec 2017 and it was delivered and set up on the 22nd (the setup took less than 10min). We did not have the bed frame yet, we didn't find one we liked for a month or two and then it took a while to get it. We final had our new Cal. King four post bed delivered on April 8th 2018. We set the bed up and it looked great, we then tried to put the mattress on the bed, well it didn't fit. It was too wide and it was too short for the bed frame.

    We naturally thought it was the bed frame, well it wasn't, in December when we went to the Tysons Corner Sleep Number store in Virginia, requested if a Cal. King P6 mattress was an option, we were told yes so we paid for it then and there. The sales people were a little perplexed at the Cal. King requested but assured us that we could get it, it might just take a little longer. So instead of ordering a Cal. King they ordered just a King, and it is not obvious by all the order codes on the paperwork what we ordered so we didn't catch it. When the mattress was delivered and set up, there is no tag that says what size mattress you have, so we didn't catch it there either. We did catch it when we tried to put a King mattress on a Cal. King bed frame but customer service says it's past the first 100 days so they will not fix the problem.

    We recommend anyone doing business with Sleep Number check what your order and have the sales person write specifically what you order in plain English on the order form, because they will sell you something in stock vs. what you want if they think you won't notice or don't know any better. One last thought, my wife had issues with sales and customer service, she felt like they were treating her like she was dumb and didn't know anything, I also witness this when I talked to them. It might be isolated, but worth mentioning.

    On Feb 1, 2018 My husband and I went to Sleep Number bed store in Santa Rosa, California. Checking out their latest beds we were informed by the sales rep that we had 100 days free trial... not once were we told that the bed frame was not part of the free trial and could not be returned and was a separate sale item... After checking the beds out we went back the next day to make a purchase. At that time I asked the rep, "Have we been told everything we needed to know? The information and all the Fine Print was very difficult to read." Her reply was, "Yes"...

    We live approximately two hours away from the store. After returning home couple days later we received information on the sale and on the bed... At that time we realized we were going to be stuck with a $3000 frame if we didn’t like the bed... The bed was not suitable for my husband’s needs. We have returned it and feel like we were taken advantage of... The sales rep at the store fraudulently represented the free trial on the bed... Even if SLEEP NUMBER bed might be good for someone else but we will never recommend it. We consider their policies as fraudulent.

    We have three Sleep Number beds now. Our most recent purchase was last year and we knew what we wanted before we went into the store. We wanted to get the Flex 2 with the ability to adjust up and down. Also, we changed to a king size and my wife and I now no longer have to worry about waking each other up all the time when one of us rolls over. The overall quality of the beds has been really good. One of our previous ones had a mold problem and it was replaced. We were asked to check the mattress for mold in a particular spot and if it had mold, it would be replaced.

    Comfortable bed. Friendly staff. But questionable product. Wasn't told mattresses separate 2-4 inches down the middle. Didn't send someone out to fix it, but sent us a replacement cover and told us to disassemble and fix it ourselves. Adjustable frame stopped working after 3 months. No company support. Passed the buck back to us. Told us to chase down replacement module from Sleep Number vendor. REALLY??? For a bed that costs close to $5000 I would have hoped for much better customer support and service - especially since problems started showing up in the first few months!

    Can't remember if I reviewed before, but after 3 years with this overpriced Kingsize air bed I am so ready to be rid of it. After my husband passed, I tried to exchange it for a smaller bed at least since I had just paid it off at $4000.00! It comes in pieces & was so concerned that movers could handle this when house was sold. From what I've researched, it looks like you can buy similar comfort for a lot less.

    We decided that we would take a splurge and spend some money that we never thought about spending before on a mattress. We walked into the Sleep Number in Mobile, which was the closest one to us. The experience of going to the store and having someone that was extremely qualified to help us made a huge difference. The showroom itself was inside a mall so there was a lot of people that didn't need to be in a mattress place shopping at the time. But they now have a new location and we visited it just a few days ago. It’s such a nice location and people will love it.

    The sales person that we worked with was absolutely wonderful and her follow up has been incredible. The rep was very kind, very approachable, and extremely knowledgeable of the products that were in the store. Also, she wasn’t high pressure, which was a huge sensitivity of mine. The home delivery was extremely simple and was probably the most care-free experience that I've ever had. The people were very fast and showed us what to do. It was a very pleasant experience. I’ve had the bed for about seven months now. I changed my number several different times and I have really enjoyed that capability and knowing that I can do it and try it for a few days until I hone it into the way that I want it, and that has been one of the most marvelous feature for me and my husband.

    We bought a Sleep Number bed a few months ago, got the massage and elevation features. At first we liked it, then the connectivity issues started popping up. It will happen when you have the head raised, then you can't sleep in the bed, my wife says she is not going to use the features because of that. I say, "If we are not going to use the features lets get rid of it." I looked under the bed to see if there were any obvious loose wires or connections, that's when was I surprised to see the huge amount of apparatus it takes to make the bed work, large boxes, pneumatic hoses, delicate looking wires dangling down, what a mess. I see why the pump box would have to have some size, but the other control box is the size of shoe box, looks very 1980s, should be the size of a pack of cigarettes.

    Anyway they don't show you at the store the mess that will be under your bed, I thought all of that apparatus would be neatly contained in a metal box or holder attached to the bottom of the frame. It all looks very fragile, the Sleep Number site says it might be a conflict with another radio channel, I did all the recommended actions, nothing worked. I don't want to have to "think" about a bed, that is something that should be squared away, not a problem to resolve. I think we are past the 100-day deal, that's fine, still want to get rid of it. We paid cash, so it is an embarrassingly poor use of money, but that's the way it goes. I think the company should give us some kind of refund, maybe 40% or something, maybe more.

    My experience with this company from purchase to delivery was wonderful. The bed itself is amazing. Bought the king p5 360 Smart bed with the FlexFit 2 base. All functions controlled is on their online app. The app is easy to use. No messy cords. But you can separately purchase the cords if you prefer. The app tracks my sleep pattern number on a graph. So I can find the number that best works for me. The head and foot functions are wonderful. Go to bed with swollen feet adjust my bed then normal by morning. Can't say enough about the wonderful people of this company that helped me through the process.

    We have Sleep Number close to 20 years and purchased our first one because we wanted a better way to sleep. My wife and I have different desires. I sleep on a much firmer bed than my wife does and with our Sleep Number beds, it's been that way. Then we upgraded our bed three years ago from a queen-size to a king-size. And it's one of those that has the positions of the head and foot. We really appreciate it. Now, when we have visitors, they enjoy our Sleep Number queen-size in what was the kids' bedroom when we had kids at home. Their customer service has always been positive and we never had anything that was not totally satisfactory. We have told several people that we have Sleep Number and that we enjoy it.

    I purchased a queen size P5. The bed itself is okay but we've had problems with customer service from the start. When the bed was installed the pump was incorrect. When I called our salesman to let him know he transferred me to customer care where I was basically passed around and eventually got a new pump ordered and they wanted me to install it. This is why I paid for installation. I also had to take the bed apart and redo it because they had it crooked where the mattress leaned toward the right. The gentlemen that installed my bed left their knife inside the bed. Luckily it was closed. The bed tends to roll you towards the middle and they mailed me a piece of foam padding, no instructions. I just got off the phone because when I tried to use the inner circle I have no order history. The gentleman told me I should use the online chat for help and not him. The customer service is awful for a bed that did not exceed expectations.

    I tried to place an order on the Sleep Number website. When I tried to go to my shopping cart an error message appears. I contacted customer service via email and no one responded. I then called the customer service number and they told me they could not help me and to try the chat feature. I tried the chat and after forty minutes of no help I was told a supervisor would be contact me. It has been two days and still no response. I never had such a hard time trying to make a purchase.

    There is something very wrong with your company when you sell and deliver a mattress to my home that is KNOWINGLY inadequate. The side rails are much higher than the air bladder, even when the air bladder is set at 100. The center of the bed is sunken, so that I’m sleeping in a valley. My head is higher than my torso. My feet are high than my torso. When I roll to one side of the bed or other, it is an uphill journey. Mattresses are supposed to be flat!! Tell me you don’t know that? And when I call my salesperson, he hands me off to Customer Service. And it is there that I am told that, "You KNOW that the air bladder does not inflate to the height of the side rails!"

    I do not understand how you could think that what you sent me is acceptable. I shouldn’t have to call and tell you that the mattress isn’t FLAT!! And you make me go through the hassle of calling the store, then talking to customer service, then WAITING 7-10 business days until you ship me something that will raise the air bladder to the height of the side rails. And in the meantime, I’m sleeping on a bed that is SO UNCOMFORTABLE that I’m having to sleep on the floor instead. And I bought the Sleep Number bed because I have medical issues with my back! Your mattress actually EXACERBATES my condition!

    I am not writing this to be posted as a review. I am complaining to your CEO, Shelly Ibach. I bought my first Sleep Number bed in 1995, and had no problems with it for 23 years. And I recently recommended Sleep Number to friends who purchased a mattress. I’m wondering if they are having the same problem I am, but are too kind to tell me. I intend to ask them. Shame on you.

    Updated on 05/03/2018: My Sleep Number Bed is awful. I already wrote a review on May 1, 2018, explaining that I am extremely dissatisfied with my Sleep Number bed.     I followed her instructions to unmake, undo, and troubleshoot the bed. When I got ready to get in bed tonight the bed is now sagging more than ever. I had agreed to pay another $357+ to get my almost $5000 bed to be somewhat comfortable but this is ludicrous. As I stated earlier to the lady on chat…. This is the worst bed I have ever had and the worst customer service. When I bought the bed I was told it had a 20 year warranty, now the warranty is prorated because the bed was poorly made. The memory foam is splitting sideways, the egg crate foam is soft in the middle but not the sides, and the bed sags horribly. The remotes do not work. Please tell me you are going to address the quality of the mattresses.

    My husband was recently paralyzed. Sleep Number was recommend to us by his spinal cord injury team. There were specific height requirements that the saleswomen was absolutely positive that the bed we chose would meet. Upon delivery and set up it did not meet the requirements, it was too high. Adjustment parts had to be ordered and were delivered within 3 days, the install team could not return for 14 days. My husband arrived home the day after the initial set up. And it has been extremely hard for him to transfer into bed.

    When they came for the second time to adjust the height, the install crew determined that the proper amount of the parts needed to adjust the height had not been sent. For the third time I called customer service, and was extremely upset with the whole situation. They told me they could overnight the parts, but as like the first time they would not be able to have the install team would not be able to come back out for 9 days this time. By this time the pain my husband was enduring while trying to transfer on the bed was just too much. He was having to sleep on the couch and myself on the floor next to him.

    I had asked for a specific time of day for the install crew to come, due to my husband's doctor's appointments for that day. I was told no problem, and was we would not be charged for the parts or the install call. REALLY? At this point I asked to speak to a supervisor, and was transferred to a voicemail, left a message actually twice from receiving her name and calling back and asking to speak to the supervisor, with NO response! Sleep Number your customer service is absolutely horrible, for the price of your bed I expected superior customer care! You also need to equip your install team with extra parts, which you do not allow.

    Our other bed wore out and we were just checking and happened to go into Sleep Number and liked the way everything was on it. Their sales reps knew what they were talking about and it wasn’t high pressure. They just showed us what it was, then we went with that. We have retired and we were in a position that we had the money, so we went ahead and bought the Sleep Number bed. We had a different type of bed before with the air mattress and it kept losing air. The Sleep Number’s quality is great and I sleep through using the bed.

    We were needing a mattress, and I did all the research and I didn’t find anything that didn’t have some kind of flaw in it. And a guy at the gym I was going to said that he had a Sleep Number for 20 years now and it was a great bed. He only had replaced a gasket 10 years into it. So I went ahead and got a Sleep Number. We've had it for two years now, and the biggest pro for me is that I could adjust it to be softer or harder. I've got an arthritic hip and I do jujitsu and police work and thinking about the hip pain that I have, I don’t think any bed is gonna feel perfect. We got our parents to buy Sleep Number too and they sent us 100 bucks. We bought a sheet set and we never saw it for a long time and they didn’t really ask a lot of questions. They just sent us a new one so that was pretty nice. I have recommended Sleep Number.

    I am thankful for the level of customer service that this company has. From day one when I walked into the store to 'look' at the products I have felt like a valued customer.     I was having issues with my back and I still do. I didn’t feel like I was resting well. Also, we had a queen-sized bed and I wanted to get a king-sized bed. We decided to go ahead and check Sleep Number out. We weren’t planning on buying one, but we ended up buying one when we were in the store. We got the mattress, the pillows that were recommended, and the sheets that were recommended for temperature control. The sales reps were good. This has been a couple of years ago. And we happened to be back where we used to live and we knew one of the salespeople years ago. He was our son’s soccer coach when we lived over there.

    I like the bed and it’s really nice. I like being able to control and change the settings on it and that my husband can do his thing and control on his side. However, I’m not happy with the sheets. We have the bed where each individual head will rise and lower. And at the seam where they connect, the fitted sheet just rips and I had to put a patch on it. I wasn’t really happy about that. They sent me new ones, but they did the same thing. Other than that, I've already recommended Sleep Number and I had some friends from church that purchased one. Also, I have a couple of people that I know that have back issues and I said to check Sleep Number out because it has been helpful.

    We are Numbers Bed owner for 15 years. Between my parents and I we have owned 4 Numbers Bed. We have loved our Numbers Beds. 4/8 we purchased a new upgraded bed with customized bedding and pillows. Bedding was expected to be delivered 4/16, we followed the tracking and immediately knew it was misdelivered. We reported to UPS on 4/17 and then to Sleep Number on 4/18. Sleep Number agreed to ship another package of bedding as we were having bed delivered on 4/24. 4/19-4/23 midnight my husband and I were traveling by car 13 hrs each way to move his sick mother and gut/prep her property for sale, exhausting and mentally draining trip.

    On 4/23 we were so looking forward to getting our new Sleep Number bed the following day. I never received an email with tracking information for the bedding, so before getting on the road I contacted customer service to check on shipping. She explained it was just shipped that morning, regular UPS ground, and they did not have a tracking number yet. When asked for more information she just skated around my questions. On the drive home we called the store, who agreed they needed to overnight bedding since the bed was useless without the proper bedding. He transferred me to customer service. After an hour of trying to accomplish this I was told I should have known I needed next day shipping on 4/18 when I called. Now it was already shipped, they had no idea of expected delivery date, and there was nothing they could or would do.

    Now we are driving down central California and in and out of phone service. We stopped at a gas station where we had service and I called customer service to CANCEL my entire purchase. I explained we did not spend $9000 on a bed to be treated this way and to have a bed for 1-2 weeks that we could not properly use while waiting on bedding. After the second time of being put on hold and 20 mins at the gas station I told her we needed to get back on the road, I just wanted to CANCEL my order. She put me on another brief hold. After another 15mins on hold we continued driving. The call was dropped 5mins later and customer service never came back to the line. Unbelievable after being "Proud Sleep Number members" and purchasing $9000 again that this is the way you can be treated.

    We picked the Sleep Number because of the reviews on Consumer Reports but we knew the bed that we wanted. We had tried the memory foam and the Tempur-Pedic. And the thing that we didn't like about that was that they broke down after a while and mostly because they slept so hot. We started looking at Sleep Number and we got the ones which the head and the foot can come up. We tried them out in the store and we really liked it. Also, we did pillows and bedding and the mattress and then the base that moves.

    Everybody that we dealt with was super nice and the set up was great. The first time we went into a store and we were considering purchasing the mattress, the guy took us through and he was like, "Try this bed," and "Try the different numbers, see which one is best for you." Every experience that we had when we walked into the store was terrific. The people were friendly, didn't push, answered all our questions, and were very knowledgeable about their product. And the guys that came in and brought it in were great. They let us know well ahead of time when they were gonna get there. They set it up, showed us how to use it, and what to do if you needed to move it and to reset it up. They gave us a couple of pointers like, "Every morning, bring your numbers back up to 100 'cause that will help the longevity of the pump system."

    We're still playing around with the numbers. You think that you've got the number that you're all satisfied with and then all of a sudden it's like, "I'm gonna play around with it some more." But we like the bed a lot. My son was looking for a bed and we recommended it to him and his wife. And they both really like theirs as well.

    The sales and service personnel are really knowledgeable, fair, personal and simply great. I would not order the mattress protectors with the dual zone cool control as it goes under the dual zone and sort of loses its purpose for being. The sheets are a waste too as the two dual zones can’t connect together as there is no hole in the middle of the sheet thus prohibiting connecting the two dual zones. Again a waste. Finally using the dual zone does make your mattress firmer than your store Sleep Number. The dual zone does a great job and was too cold on night one!

    I was having back problem and I needed a bed so I went to try the Sleep Number bed and thought that's what I wanted and I liked it. We've purchased the C and I got some bedding. We got the king size separate. The sales reps were all awesome there and we dealt mostly with Cheryl. She was a good salesperson and she was very thorough. The delivery team was very nice and pretty efficient and we love the overall quality of our bed.

    However, my husband has had a little bit of a problem with his feeling not even and I called Sleep Number. I spoke to a gentleman and he was supposed to get back to me and he never got back to me. So, I waited and waited and then I called again about the same problem. And the rep said she didn't know and she was gonna get back to me. And she never got back to me. I called again just recently and said something is wrong. One lady was supposed to call me back today to make sure that she sent us the new foam siding to go around the bed. It was just complimentary because I was never taken care of in the first place. And we did get the foam siding yesterday and we put it in. The rep has been very on top of it and she also made it a half an inch taller to see if that would help. My husband slept on it last night but we can't tell yet. Sleep Number is an awesome bed. I would definitely recommend it and tell my friends to go to the store and try it.

    We paid to have the bed installed. The men pushed the bed against the wall and on top of one of the air hoses. We could not adjust the air on that side of the bed. We called the installers and asked them to return and lift the bed off the air hose, They refused to come back. We had to take a large dictionary, both of us lifted the bed, and managed to get the air hose out from under. Ever since the bed has lost air every day and my wife has to pump it up. We called Sleep Number several times asking them to come out and replace the hose but they said we would have to pay $299 for someone to come out and remove the hose, then pay another $299 to have him come several weeks later to replace the hose.

    We tried to do this ourselves but we are both old and did not have the hand strength to remove the hose from the pump. Then our air quit on us. They finally sent out two men who reconnected the hose. We asked them to remove the hose so we could put tape around the hole but they refused. Whenever we had an appliance that was under warranty and had a problem the company would send a repairman in a truck that had all the parts needed on it. He would repair the appliance in one trip at no cost to us. If you are a senior citizen or disabled, do not buy a Sleep Number bed.

We think it's important for our owners to know that our 25 Year Limited Warranty provides coverage for parts, however, it does not offer a technician to service the bed. We strive to make our beds easier to service in the event our owners do have troubles, but, if you need our Home Delivery Team to come back out to your home there is a fee of $199 + applicable tax per visit, so I apologize if you were informed it would be $299 each visit as that is incorrect.     I slept on a Sleep Number at a hotel and loved it. The purchasing process online was easy. I went to the website and I knew what I wanted just from looking at it and ticked it. I got emails from Sleep Number throughout the whole thing. They set up the delivery time that would work for me and then they installed it. They warned me that the side of the mattress tend to collapse over time if you sit on the side of the bed a lot. So they told me not to do that and it helped quite a bit. I just wish I bought one that was a little more expensive. It would have been nice to have some of the other features where I could raise my head up just a little bit higher.

    But then looking at the overall price, I didn’t want to spend that much money on something that I haven’t been able to try at least for a couple of months. My mom was having trouble sleeping so I switched out with her for a little while. She ended up buying a Sleep Number from trying them on for a couple of days. She loved it. She had one of those Tempur-Pedic ones before buying Sleep Number and she liked Sleep Number a lot more than the Tempur-Pedic.

    We purchased a King Size Split Top (I think P8). Not sure about number, but around $6,000.00 about 18 months ago. Did the whole experience in store. Thought it was great. After sleeping and living with the bed you realize you are now confined to 2 twin sized beds with a split in the middle especially when one person puts the head up a little to sleep. There is no place to lay your arm if you are a side sleeper if the head of bed is up on the other side, And if one wants the feet up both have to have feet up. It's a nightmare. I actually dread going to bed. I sleep in one of my kids' beds often when they are away for the night. I called Sleep Number about 6 months in and was told, "Too bad, your 100 days are over. Nothing to do for you." Be aware that you will be getting a much smaller sleeping space vs a king size bed if one of you use the head up. Overall, so disappointed and I can't wait to get rid of this bed.

    We've had Sleep Number's P5 mattress for about a year and a half now. We decided to get one because my wife has a back problem. She's a dental hygienist and she suffers from occupational-related back problems. The sales reps at the showroom did a great job. The people who delivered the bed were very professional. They put it together. When we bought the bed, we were about a month and a half away from moving so I was very concerned that I would not be able to disassemble and reassemble this bed. The technicians took great care in explaining to me the procedure and I was able to totally disassemble the unit, and then reassemble it in our new home. It's been working flawlessly. It's a very good bed and we sleep very well in it. I recommended Sleep Number to friends who had purchased it and Sleep Number sent me $100 bucks. I told my friends the truth that it is a great bed and it is not cheap.

    We had a Sleep Number bed before and we just really enjoyed it. We've had their products for six years now. Recently, we purchased the split king with the adjustable base. I've had a good interaction with everybody from the salesperson to the delivery team. The delivery guys came in and took care of business. They ordered stuff that didn't show up.     My husband and I made an impulse buy 2 years ago when we bought a Sleep Number bed (Split King P5). I was undergoing chemotherapy at the time and I thought a new bed would help my discomfort at night. We were well past the timeframe to return the bed but I still felt zero comfort. It feels like I’m sleeping on an air mattress, which is what the bed essentially is. My sleep has gotten worse since we bought the bed. I would NOT recommend Sleep Number beds to anyone. So many nights of horrible sleep. So much money wasted down the drain.

    I bought my split king bed about 9 or 10 years ago when the split kings were two XL twin beds side by side. I love the comfort my bed provides but now that my life situation has changed, I find I’m stuck with two beds (with hard to find sheets) and dealing with a crack in the middle sucks! I would love to get rid of my beds and buy a queen size adjustable bed but Sleep Number has no trade-in policy. The least they could do is accept a trade on my adjustable frames that are in perfect working condition. That’s my only gripe but it’s making my life miserable!!

    We had great service at Sleep Number when we purchased their C4 a while ago. We went, checked the bed out, left and then came back when we were ready to purchase. It wasn’t a high-pressure sell. The delivery was great too. It was in and out and done quick. It was an easy setup. I'm happy with the bed and we referred a couple of people to Sleep Number.     The P5 bed is awesome, but we've also had a great experience with every single person we came in contact with during this process. And I spoke to 3 salespeople online (Katie and Brian, primarily), and they were all knowledgeable and professional. Leslie from the home office called me the next day and she was a very strong representative for your company and answered several questions, while also presenting ideas for us to work within our budget.

    Anthony, at the Loveland store, is also a very professional, knowledgeable, and personable representative. We enjoyed our experience with him a lot and he stayed late for us and answered questions about financing and even looked the answer up in the financing agreement to make sure he was giving accurate information for my questions. We appreciated that and it made us much more comfortable buying the bed that night instead of going home and kicking it around some more.

    Our delivery guys, Alex and Ricardo, were also very personable while moving swiftly and carefully to get our bed moved out and the P5 set up. They answered all my questions without getting derailed on the setup. They also noticed that a piece of foam on the left sidewall was torn in the packaging. So Alex took the time order a replacement instead of trying to hide it or downplay it. He absolutely took care of it 100 percent to our satisfaction. The representatives he and I spoke to were also very helpful and friendly.

    My wife and I were tired of the old bed so we checked out the bed from Sleep Number and we liked it. The sales rep was very knowledgeable, very nice and helpful. Also, the delivery team knew what they were doing and they were very polite. They showed us how to work everything and it was good. The bed that we purchased wasn’t the most expensive, but it wasn’t the cheapest. We have owned it for over a year now and we like the quality of the product. Originally, we used my rails in headboard and footboard, but that didn’t work out. We turned around and ordered the foundation that they sold and then they set it on. We haven't had our problem since then. We would buy a Sleep Number again. But we don’t need to because this one’s working out fine. Others should buy it too.

    My sister had one of the Sleep Number beds. I loved it and I wanted one too. I bought the whole mattress and the dual-sided movable bed frame.     After hearing the advertisements for 10 years, we replaced our 10 year old Tempur-Pedic with a Sleep Number. The in-store model seemed comfortable at a setting of 100 (most firm). Upon taking delivery of the bed, ours didn't seem as firm, (as I'd remembered). The technicians stated, "It's as firm as it gets". I asked if he could increase the air pressure. He replied, "No". I figured I'd get used to it. We left town, shortly after the purchase and returned after the 100 days trial. I have had it nearly a year and my back starts to ache, the moment I lay down. When I travel and sleep on firm-extra firm mattresses, my back doesn't hurt. I can't remember when I was more disappointed in a product. So, if you want a truly firm mattress, I suggest you look elsewhere.

    We had good recommendations about the Sleep Number bed from friends and we didn’t like the bed that we had, so we bought another Sleep Number bed. We bought one six years ago, then we bought a C-2 this time as a spare bed. The sales reps were very helpful and we had a good experience with them. We had the bed shipped by mail, then we installed it. We like the bed that we got and it works well, and the other people that have slept on it also have the same response.     Bought the I8 bed a couple years ago thinking this would be our last bed purchase and it was going to be great. Worst bed ever! My husband and I both have lots of back pain and if you don't sleep on the edge of the bed it feels like you're sinking in a hole. Wasted $3,600 on this piece of junk. The bed never stays where you have it set. Called technical support right after we bought the bed and they were about useless. My cheap air mattress from Target is more comfortable than this bed. Very bad investment.

    I was appalled to find out that I cannot opt out of Sleep Number disclosing my personal information to affiliates, vendors, or business partners who are acting on your behalf unless I disable the SleepIQ. I spent over $6,000 on a product whose main selling point is the technology integrated with the bed and I have to forfeit the sleep analytics so that Sleep Number will not share my personal information?? I am not using a free product such as Facebook. Sleep Number beds and the technology integrated into the bed are quite expensive. We all need to ask Sleep Number to change their privacy policy to allow customers to opt out of sharing their personal information without forfeiting the features they purchased. I have sent a formal complaint to my local congressman and so should you.

    This is our third Sleep Number bed and the one we had originally was uncomfortable. We had Sleep Number products in our home for 10 years. This time, we have the king size that has the adjustable base, split top and then we put a queen size in one of the guestrooms. Their sales reps called periodically and checked on us to make sure if we need anything or how we're getting along with the bed. The lady at the store has been very nice. We scheduled a home delivery and the folks that they sent were perfect. They were very courteous, getting right on it, put it together, get it done and explained how to use it.

    I gave the first bed we had to my brother and his wife, and that was when we bought the queen bed. When we bought the second king bed, they liked it really well. I like the overall quality of the Sleep Number products. Their sheets were comfortable but they don't last very long and seem to tear easily. That's the only thing that I was unhappy with. I bought sheets elsewhere, but they don't stay on the mattress like the Sleep Number sheets do. Other than that, it's a very comfortable bed and I sleep on it every day.

    I’ve gotten a Sleep Number from a yard sale and we liked it. When it wore out, we went ahead and got another one. But before we bought the bed for the second time, I sent emails to all the chiropractic medicine schools and I asked them which bed they will prefer. All those who answered said Sleep Number, so we went with it. We bought the lowest mattress they had and the controller. We had extremely good interactions with their sales reps. They were amazing.     So we just purchased this bed over $5000. I asked the salesman if there was a chance of getting free delivery. Was told you guys don't do that and the ones who do usually have the charge built in to the cost of the mattress. Well no more than a few days after we purchased our bed I see advertising that delivery was free for our bed. Can you please explain this. Also was not told that with your 100 day guarantee if we decide not to keep the bed there is another $200 charge to pick it up! I almost feel like we should just return it as I can't seem to get past this. very upsetting to be lied to like that.

    We’ve had a Sleep Number for years and just changed sizes. We’ve purchased them for our kids too in the past. We dealt with one gentleman and he was always accommodating. He knows everything and makes everything work. We had the beds delivered and our interaction with their delivery guy, Scott, is fine. We’re working right now with him. We already had adjustable bases on another bed we’ve had in our other room and we put those underneath the bed. I’m going to check Sleep Number’s base to see if they’re smoother and do better, then we will have to change bases. But we never had a problem before on the ones that just were stationary. We’re very happy with our experience with Sleep Number and we tell everybody that.

    I purchased a queen size adjustable base Sleep Number bed a few years ago from a local Syracuse, NY area Sleep Number store. It was installed and set to my specifications. I am very happy with the bed and with the customer service representatives on the few occasions I had to call for help. I did notice that after several months (about 6), it seemed like there was a slight sag in the middle of the bed. I'm not sure what caused this, although my guess is that because the sides of the bed are stiffer, the center is where the adjustment takes place. If one lies down near the edge, it is not level, but rather it tips downward as it gets farther away from the edge.

    Customer Service is excellent. When my remote developed a glitch, the gentleman walked me through the process to restart it and got it fixed right away. For me the adjustable base is a live-saver. With the head raised just a little bit, I can breathe so much easier in spite of all my allergies. I recommend the bed wholeheartedly.

    Our daughter purchased a Sleep Number and raved about it. Since my husband and I were both having trouble sleeping, we went and looked at it, and purchased one. We went to the Wesley Chapel store and the representative was a young male, who was very knowledgeable, polite, and attentive. He was very good. The guys who delivered it were quick, efficient and clean as well. We love the king split bed itself. We enjoyed it. We sleep better with it being able to have different numbers on each side. Plus, I can raise mine and not wake my husband up or vice versa. We also bought two different kinds of sheets and then we went back and purchased a second bamboo sheet.

    The sheets were amazing. They're soft and durable, and when they come out of the dryer, you just want to curl up when you put them in bed. The only issue I have is that the two sets of sheets got ripped at the split. These were very expensive sheets. And we were very careful to make sure we tucked the sheets down in between the split, so it wasn’t tight so if one of us rolled, the sheets wouldn’t get torn or pulled. Sleep Number was wonderful about it and has replaced the sheets both times for us and the replacement set has not ripped so far. We’re still being careful with them, making sure we get them tight at the corners, and that we push that split part, make sure they're pulled and they're not taut, and we tuck them down in there. If someone would ask about Sleep Number, I would tell them to definitely purchase one. In fact, three out of our four kids have bought them and we have recommended them Sleep Number.

    Called customer support regarding a leaking right side air chamber and was informed I had to pay pro-rate out of pocket, I was not completely informed of the 25 year warranty at time of purchase and find this completely unacceptable. I then asked for an email I could write to in order to escalate to someone in charge, have not heard back for days.

    I reached back out again to support to inform them of the email I sent, only to be told emails can take quite some time, I explained the situation regarding the leaking right side air chamber causing my wife severe neck pain and that is why I wanted the matter escalated, only to be told that this was not negotiable and to have a great day and sleep well soon. Really, this is your response after informing you of the neck pain this is causing my wife. Luckily I have saved the chat from this conversation for further review. Had I known this at the time of purchasing a Sleep Number costing thousands of dollars, I would of never bothered and would never ever recommend to anyone!

    My wife and I had shopped for a new Sleep Number last Labor Day Sale and received a quote from our original salesperson Penny from when we bought our first. We have loved our bed but are very disappointed with the service received when surprised by finding black mold. We were never aware of any issue with our bed and possible mold issues. I would had checked my bed weekly if I knew, but yet headaches every morning at home but on business trips we never experienced made us start inspecting our space with major spring cleaning. I found the dark spots only to reveal the most awful thing possible. Our local contact Penny quickly within 15 minutes of discovery directed us to customer service first thing Monday March 26th.

    I called the 800# and was quickly referred to a specialist that was very quick to say replacement and provide date of delivery. The date approached with no provided information for Sleep Number so I called. In the past couple of days contacting Sleep Number without them contacting me I still have no idea about replacement date or when this black mold can be removed from my home. After years of promoting a brand with great sheets, pillows, and service you fall short when a problem arises. I regret doing a google search to only find that you had a lawsuit about the same issue my wife and I are having now. Our pictures almost match. Very disappointed.

    Our testing revealed common household mold levels were in each case lower than mold levels typically found in normal outdoor air and were generally lower than or comparable to mold levels found within buildings with good air filtration systems.     I originally purchased a Sleep Number queen bed and the second purchase was a Sleep Number king. I was very satisfied with the first purchase, so I went ahead with the second about eight years later. I realized that the cost of the bed itself was more than a regular box spring mattress, but in the long run, the Sleep Number bed was more economical. The Sleep Number bed doesn't have the faults of a regular box spring which gets saggy and gets your body impression. After about eight years, I'm still going to have the same impression on both sides of that regular mattress if can flip it. With the Sleep Number bed, that doesn't occur.

    On the last purchase I made, the salesperson that I spoke to was very knowledgeable and suggested certain options. It was somebody I would like to deal with, with any big purchase. I had the bed delivered but the delivery team on my first Sleep Number bed was a lot better than the second team. The first team was more thorough. With the second team, there was a sense of being hastily set up and it seemed like they had to be somewhere in a hurry. But the quality of the Sleep Number beds is excellent. On the first bed, the pump failed on me and they replaced it. I thought that would have been covered but the warranty didn't extend and I had to pay for the replacement pump. That was the only problem I had with the first bed and I just took it in stride.

    Also, with my original purchase, I got an expanded queen and the problem was that the only place that I could get sheets was through Sleep Number. The expanded queen is part of the beds that are available at Sleep Number offers but I I don't think they even offer that anymore. Nevertheless, I would suggest for Sleep Number to stay the course and keep their quality up. Once they let the quality go down, it would be three or four times as hard to get it back up to where they had it. I recommend Sleep Number overall. It's probably the best sleep device invented since the hammock. My daughter has also purchased a Sleep Number bed and there's another friend here in my community that we suggested that and he bought one.

    We had a Sleep Number 15 years before and we bought one recently as an upgrade. We were quite pleased with the people that we dealt with when we went to buy it. We went back and bought a couple of things later on and it was fine there too. We were treated greatly and fairly. Also, the people that brought the bed and set it up were really good. They left in a hurry but they did everything that they were supposed to do. Plus my wife said they cleaned up after themselves. The one thing that I have to worry about is if I get a question and they don't have any real maintenance person in the area to come and look at my bed and tell me what's wrong with it to fix it. There's also the fact that they seem to be awful pushy with their emails. But overall, the bed is working fine for both me and my wife.

    The 100 night guarantee was a warm blanket when deciding to make the initial purchase, but since the bed did not work out, it has become ice water. We are unable to return any of the bed accessories which cost us over $700 and are paying delivery fees on an item we are not even keeping. If you are purchasing this bed, make sure you want to keep it as you will be out money if you decide to return. The guarantee is only for the raw price of the bed and you will be out $100s with nothing to show for it but a bad night's sleep.

    When we first got Sleep Number 22 years ago, we had different beds prior and we kept breaking them. It was such a waste of money. Somebody told us about Sleep Number, and it's nowhere near the same. Everybody in our family has Sleep Number and we love them. Our daughters have them and all of them have been better than we expected. Once their fiancés slept on them, they were like, "We're not going to sleep on anything else."

    We loved the Sleep Number we had before and we wanted a better one. The reps at the store were very helpful. We bought the one before this one at QVC and it was nice, but it's not as wonderful as the one in the store. We worked with Tony, the manager at Gulf View Square Mall and he was extremely helpful. He spent a lot of time with us just to make sure we got the right things. The installation team put the bed together and they were wonderful as well. We got pillows and they're amazing. We have a half slit with the lighting on the bottom and it's my favorite one of all. We also have the cooling and heating layer thing that you plug in and it has its own air chambers. It's my favorite thing and I definitely recommend that. We tell everybody they should have Sleep Numbers.

    Came into the store to order the I10, explained to the salesman what I currently have at home (Tempurpedic with adjustable base) that need to move to another room. He assured me that it wouldn't be a problem and they can move it to a different room when they deliver the mattress. On March 12 (delivery date), the delivery crew showed up and told my wife that they can't move the bed to a different room. I was furious and called in to cancel the order. After confirmation with the rep that my order would be cancelled and the payment would be return to my credit card. Fast forward 18 days later I got notification that my order would be deliver on April 14th. So my order didn't get cancelled and it's getting deliver a month later.

    I was in the market for a mattress and I wanted something that would give me flexibility as I get older, and would have a good long warranty. The sales rep at Sleep Number was helpful. I purchased a mattress as well as beddings and sheets. I scheduled for a home delivery and they came, set the mattress up, made sure that I was aware how to use it, and left as I would expect. I would recommend Sleep Number to others. The only drawback is the cost factor for most people. But other than that, I love the overall quality of the product.     Our Sleep Number bed WAS SUPPOSED to be delivered today. It was not. Yesterday I called the Customer Service number and spoke with Jim. I told him that we had not received a phone call prior to our delivery date. He checked and discovered that our order had been cancelled. I assured him that it was not cancelled by us. He told me that it had been cancelled when my husband called (a couple days after receiving an email from Sleep Number to confirm our order) to "correct" our delivery address (someone had input incorrectly) and "correct" the spelling of our last name. My husband asked the woman from Sleep Number that he spoke with regarding these "corrections", if he could get an email confirming these "corrections". She said "no, I cannot do that." Wow! What customer service!!

    Jim told me that deliveries were out 7-10 days. He said that our bed could be delivered on April 11. I called Chris (mngr at Sleep Number bed store in Riverdale UT). He was shocked that this had occurred. And said that he would do everything in his power to fix this problem. He said that he would call Customer Service and get back to me. Chris did call me back eventually last night. He said that he didn't make much progress but would continue today. Our experience with Sleep Number and Chris (mngr) at the Riverdale UT store was GREAT. Everything else SUCKED! So... in the meantime, for the next 2 weeks while we wait for our Sleep Number to be delivered (if I don't cancel the damned thing!), we're sleeping ON THE FREAKING FLOOR because we got rid of our bed in our bedroom.

    We've had a Sleep Number at home for 20 years. We've always recommended it ever since we got it because it's the best bed we've ever had. So, we bought a second one in Florida and we did it over the phone. Their sales rep called us a couple of times but he called us at our home number in Minnesota, not at our number in Florida. So, we didn't get the calls. Everything was great with the installation. The guys were very nice, worked very hard, and got it all done in no time. We got the basic model and its cover is better and nicer than the old one.

    We are totally displeased with the Sleep Number air bed my wife purchased and they would not replace the pump, even though they state it is one of the most common problems. We are getting rid of our bed and shopping for something new that will suit our needs and not be faulty after a few years. Mattresses should be good for at least ten years in my humble opine and that is certainly NOT the case without bad bed that started going bad after 3 years. I would NOT recommend this bed to anyone- sorry. They have terrible customer service unlike the Kohler company that totally replaced our high rise toilet after 8 years, with the plumber's report on the continuing problem- that is great service and they did it again on a kitchen faucet.     From the beginning our service has been less than it should be. First, one of our FlexFit units didn't work. That had to be replaced. Also, one of our mattresses slides off the bed. It took a long time for someone to come check what was wrong. They finally sent someone over to identify the issue. They told us they would order the replacement parts and everything would be taken care of.

    After months of no response or contact, we contacted Sleep Number again yesterday. We learned that the representative that came over never submitted the order for the items that needed repair. We had to attempt to recall what the problems were so Sleep Number could replace them. We believe it was damaged covers and side walls, but not sure. Now, they are finally ordering those items (though we don't know for sure if this is the real issue) and on top of that, we have to replace them ourselves. Otherwise it's $200 to have someone come out and replace their damaged items. Seriously!!! Worst customer service I've ever experienced, and considering what we paid for this investment, Shameful!

    Pro: I'm happy with the bed, very comfortable and well built. It is a king with dual controls. After 15 years the only thing that wore out was the top foam pad and top zipped cover. Con: The cost to replace the foam pad and zipped cover was over $1000.00. I decided to purchase a complete bed for $2000.00 even though there was nothing wrong with it. Suggestion: Make the price of replacement parts reasonable which would prolong the useful life of the bed. Conclusion: The bed is comfortable enough that I made the decision to purchase a new one.

    Upgrade our Sleep Number bed from a P5 we bought in 2011 to a split king for my husband who has health issues. We went to the Florida Mall store several times to look at the beds and talk with the same salesperson. Looked at a variety of beds, told him our budget and what we had at home. Purchased the P6 360 with the integrated base 2/10/18. Picked Delivery 3/6/18 due to needing a Saturday delivery. The home delivery team comes and ask us where our frame is??? We were never told we needed one, we asked when we purchased the bed about it and the salesman said didn't need one. The base was all we needed.

    The bed was placed on our floor and the delivery guys left. We had to find a friend's house to sleep because of my husband's disability. Called store. Said will cost $200 and 2 weeks to get it. Called corporate. Told them how upset we were. We had spent our budget. If we knew it was more we would not of bought bed, they refunded home delivery but couldn't help with frame. A neighbor gave us a frame which isn't working. When we got refund went to store to order frame. Mgr. say, "Use your 200 refer a friend certificate to pay for frame and it won't cost you," so we said, "great set." Mgr. said he would call us to set delivery, never called.

    I call store. Someone answers the phone "ALOHA. JOSE speaking." Sorry I speak English. So I call corporate, set a delivery, get 4 emails different days, wait for someone to call us. I call again and was told order was cancelled and NO one called me. Was give a case mgr. Now I am dealing with a person that has an attitude that need it adjusted. We still don't have a frame and we are almost out of our 100 days and our queen bed we gave to my son with a traumatic brain injury from a motor vehicle accident. So we are Stuck with a bed that we have trouble sleeping in. Wish Sleep Number had better Customer Service.

    My recent purchase of a Sleep Number Bed, was prompted by some health conditions being experienced by my wife. I had owned an earlier model and was very happy with it. We gave it to our Granddaughter after we purchased a different bed. My wife was happy for a while, but as time moved on, she wanted another Sleep Number Bed. I have already ordered a remote, but I was able to connect her this morning by phone. We are both Senior Citizens and this bed, I believe, will benefit us in many ways and we look forward to some wonderful and restful nights.

    I called Customer Service and in their defense they were very kind and tried to be helpful. They advised me I was out of the warranty time limit for a refund, which is really what I want so I can purchase a firm spring bed. Ever since I purchased this bed my health has declined, I have severe back and neck pain and I am suffering with migraine headaches. This bed came highly recommended and when in the store it seemed comfortable. I was sent foam lifts that were suppose to help with the firmness and this has not helped, the bed seems uneven and I feel like I'm on a cheap air mattress. Please Sleep Number do the honorable humane thing and refund my bed with a full refund so I can finally get my health back.

    When I purchased my Sleep Number bed no one informed me that a double was shorter than other beds. I was shocked at the length which does not suit a person who is 5 foot 10 inches tall which is pretty average and not overly tall. I called to see if I could upgrade to a queen size as the delivery man told me I could, and was promptly told that all sales are final and there are no returns or exchanges. I also inquired why there were no wheels on the bed, because as a senior with a heart condition I am unable to move it myself. The delivery man also said they would to that, It was delivered without wheels or even casters. I called again and was told that wheels were 26 dollars extra.

    I enquired about customer service and was told that I would get a return call in three days. I am still waiting a week and a half later. I don't believe that they will call me because there is no remedy for my problem. I also tried to get in touch with the person who sold me the bed and every time I call she is not available; I don't expect to hear from her either. There is no 100 night trial policy so why bother to put it on the checklist. I have made a $ 4112.15 investment for a bed that is too short and there is absolutely nothing that I can do about it but take the loss. To add insult to injury the Sleep Number that was determined in the store has proved inadequate. I have tried every number from 25 to 100 and my back pain continues to be a problem and I have no injuries to blame for this only old age and a bad mattress. I will never recommend the sleep number bed to anyone.

    We got a Sleep Number bed maybe 2 months ago. I have a very bad back, so we were told that the Sleep Number bed would be the way to go. This makes my back even hurt more no matter what setting I use. We called customer support and they said, "All you need is a different top." So they sent one, that even hurts worse. We are still in our 100 days to try it out. But we get said stories from the customer service, says to try this and that, well I have already tried them all and nothing works. We paid a lot of cash money for this crap. You just need to take the thing back!!!

    This company has the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. I received my mattress and set it up. However the pump and remote would not connect. I called on 3/5/18 to report the issue to get the problem rectified asap so I could use my brand NEW bed. We went through the troubleshooting steps and still did not work. Ok no problem. They said they would send out a new pump and remote. It would be there in a couple of days. I was told I would get an email with the tracking number. I waited about 4 days or so, no package and no email were sent.

    Then I called to see what was going on, the replacement pumps were on back order. But there was no date as to when they would get the new pumps delivered to them. I called every few days to find out the status of my order. I finally call on 3/15/18 to let them know that it's been 10 days and I still can't use my new bed. The rep I talked to, spoke with the warehouse manager and said they found a pump they could send me. I was told it would be expedited and would be here no later than end of day 3/17/18 and I would also receive an email with tracking number for shipping.

    I did not get the email again so I call on 3/17 to check on the status. Apparently expedited only means out of the warehouse quicker, the pump and remote now will not be here until 3/22/18 at the end of day because it was sent UPS ground instead of overnight, even though I was promised 3/17. I called back and spoke with a rep, a supervisor, and a corporate solutions person. The corporate solutions person had no actual solution to the problem. She only refunded the original shipping fee and said the items were already sent. I still cannot use the brand new bed that was sent to me already broken. I cannot even return the mattress because they do not send boxes and you cannot return it to the store. So I'm stuck with a mattress and with a company that lies and believes apologies fix problems. I would not recommend buying from this company because they do NOT care about the customer or the promises they make to them.

    I love Sleep Number and I would recommend them. I used to have constant back pain and since I used a Sleep Number bed, I don't. My hips also don't hurt anymore. We had our first Sleep Number for about 11 years and we recently purchased another. We had a wonderful saleslady. She was really sweet and we loved her. When the bed was delivered, it was almost 10 o'clock at night when their guys got here and they were exhausted and grumpy. They didn't want us in the room and they might've been a little freaked out by my husband who's totally blind. But they did a good job and we like our new bed a lot. It's better than the other one we had. They said we should've pumped it up but nobody told us that and the foam wore out. But this time, they told us we're supposed to pump the bed up everyday, which helps keep the foam. It's an i10 mattress and so far, we are happy with it.

    My wife and I went to a Sleep Number Store and bought a bed on February 23. We were told at the time of the transaction that delivery would be March 23, however "this must be a glitch in the system" the salesperson told us, "as most beds ship within two weeks." Indeed, the customer order form stated "within 2 weeks." The sales person was kind enough to give me a phone number to call the next business day to actually see what our ship date would be. I called and they said that they could not guarantee shipment by the March 23 date.

    In the meantime Sleep Number debited my credit card for the full amount. While on the phone I explained that this would be a hardship for my wife and myself and is there any way to shorten this time. The customer service representative canceled our store purchase for home delivery and set up and said she would reorder for UPS delivery that should cut off about a week and I would set up the bed myself when it arrived. I would get a UPS tracking number in about two weeks. Last week when I had not received an email with UPS tracking information, I called and customer service said I would get a tracking number on Monday, Tuesday at the latest.

    Well today is Tuesday and so at about 4:30 CDT I called to find out where my bed was. I talked to a few customer service representatives who would not tell me why my bed had not shipped and had to go up to a supervisor who at last admitted that they don't have any. Back on February 23 Sleep Number did not have beds but would not tell me that. All the customer service people I talk to were polite but not forthcoming with the truth that Sleep Number did not have any inventory anywhere until the supervisor admitted it. So I await a phone call from Renee, the customer service supervisor who will let me know, someday, when I can expect to get a bed.

    Let me say that the problem I am experiencing is not the fault of any of the customer service agents or store salespeople - they have been polite and courteous and seemed to be doing their jobs to the best of their ability. And I thank each and everyone I spoke to for trying to help me. They were not aware that Sleep Number seems to have a serious production problem.

    We had a Sleep Number before and we needed a new mattress. We started looking and liked Sleep Number so we bought it. The sales reps in different stores were personable. They helped us pick out the right beds for us, for our budget, for our bodies, for what we wanted out of a night’s sleep. It was home delivered in both times. The bed we have now is smarter than our first Sleep Number bed. These fellas who came in were very knowledgeable and showed us how to adjust the numbers and how to raise or lift the head or the feet of the mattress. They took time to educate us on the product.

    With two grown-up people in the bed, what one body needs isn’t necessarily what the other body needs. We both have allergies so just taking a Benadryl isn’t going to be sufficient. It helps when your head’s elevated because he’s allergic to whatever it is floating in the air that but I’m not. So, he needs to have his head raised higher than mine and vice versa. We have the movable mattress and their bed linens fit better than what we could get at a department store.

    With the first mattress, one of the things that sold me to that was that it has a longer life than a traditional mattress and I’m frugal. And the reason we eventually had to replace it was because we had a hurricane come through and destroyed about 90% of what we owned, including the mattress. So, that was the only reason that it just lasted 13 years. It would’ve lasted longer. When we bought this one they told us we shouldn’t keep it that long, as long as we did. But it worked for us and it worked very well. And that’s part of the reason that I was adamant that we go back to Sleep Number to get another mattress set and so we did. Sleep Number is worth the money.

    The best bed. The only thing better is the more expensive version with heat & massage! I didn't know about the better bed until reading thru papers after purchase... Will they allow a trade? Because I'd trade. This is not my first numbers bed. Got the first one in 1997 and immediately knew I'd be a customer forever. Fibromyalgia makes it hard to sleep, but adjusting for your comfort is a great help.

    We moved into a new home and we wanted a king size bed. We put our queen size in the guest room. Our previous bed was a Sleep Number. And so, we bought a king bed, the base, a mattress pad, and the legs from Sleep Number as well. Everything went very smoothly. And in fact, the saleslady we dealt with was friendly and very knowledgeable. She gave a lot of tips and ideas on doing stuff differently. The delivery guys came on time and they were very house-trained and they definitely cleaned up. They were very helpful, too. The only thing is that there should be bigger discounts for returning customers. We spent over $4,000 and they gave out a $100 off, which was almost insulting. Other than that, we like the quality of our Sleep Number a lot. It's very comfortable. I and my partner can set different hardnesses. We like it a lot and told folks that it’s expensive but it’s one that lasts.

    I bought a Sleep Number king p6 and I love it. It’s a replacement for our 19-year-old Sleep Number bed. I just bought the mattress because I already had the platform bed. The sales reps were pretty good although I wasn’t really taken all around the store. I went in telling them I wanted to buy the one that was half off, which was the promotion. But then I ended up not buying that. I wasn't really shown all the options like I might have been if I went in not knowing what I wanted. But the delivery team was very efficient. They got in here and knew just exactly what they needed to do. They worked well together and it was a very good experience.

    However, I was led to believe and didn’t realize it didn’t come with a remote and when I asked the gentleman where the remote was when he said my phone was all set up, he said it didn't come with a remote. I said, “Really? The salesman implied there was a remote.” The salesman then did get me a remote. But I don’t sleep with my phone and so that’s the big downside of this particular mattress because not everybody has their phone right by their bed. If I want to adjust my mattress, I don’t want to have to get up and go to the kitchen and find my phone. But I'd recommend Sleep Number to everybody.

    We love our Sleep Number bed. We bought one in 2006 and we recently got a new one because we enjoyed the other one so much. This time around, the mattress was all we needed because the other one was getting soft, and my husband’s a big man but I don’t know if that has anything to do with it. We felt it was time to get a new one to replace it. That was what we did and we were very happy with it. We do recommend it to all our family and friends. Their reps were great, we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Everybody at the store was very helpful. They did offer the mattress that raises up but we chose not to do that. We are perfectly satisfied with what we have.

    When we went to the store near us, we told them that we wanted their people to set it up because my husband’s 78 years old and I’m 77, so we didn’t feel comfortable doing it ourselves. They knew what they were doing and they took the old one out because we didn’t have a need for that. They were wonderful to take it away for us and that worked out perfectly. As soon as my husband and I lie down on it, we fell asleep. The quality is absolutely wonderful. Sleep Number is the best mattress we’ve ever slept on and we would go out and get it in a heartbeat. In fact, my husband takes a nap every day and I have to wake him up because he’d probably sleep through the night and then be up at odd hours. We certainly enjoy it.

    So we are in the process of having this bed very soon. However, let me tell you about the bad service that was done by the company (no apology needed). We order this bed several weeks ago, and professionally I gave my time and my money to this company. They made a promise to deliver the bed on the 3rd of March between the hours of 3-7pm. So me and my girl took time off on that day and cleared all items including the bed to make the delivery easier for Sleep Number crew. However, on the day of delivery they call me to tell me that the delivery would not happen because of production (that's what they said). I totally understand that there can be delays, but please don't tell me on the delivery date and it was due to production.

    Later one after discussing with them, they changed their story and that it had to do with the weather. So was it the weather or the production delay. Totally unprofessional. All they needed to do was to call me the day before and not on the day of delivery. They have promised to deliver on this Friday coming up (March 9th, 2017). Let's see what surprise will I receive this time. (PLEASE DON'T APOLOGIZE.)

    Prior to purchasing the adjustable base for my Sleep Number bed, I was told by the salesperson that Sleep Number moves the beds for a fee. They do not - they charge $190 to disassemble the bed, you move it and $190 to reassemble it at a LATER DATE. They will say anything to make a sale then leave you stranded later on. For someone on disability, this is a nightmare. Make sure that you know what you are getting into before purchasing this bed. The mattress is attached to the base and I have no way of disassembling this bed to move it. I am frustrated and furious because I was lied to and there is no help available. I will NEVER again order another Sleep Number product. There is absolutely NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AVAILABLE. All I heard from the "Corporate" associate is: "I wasn't there so I don't know what was said." A very convenient escape! Shame on Sleep Number!!!

    I had a Sleep Number bed for 18 years and I loved It, so I went back with another. It was a Cal King and it monitors my sleep and it was $6600 for half prices on Black Friday weekend. Their sales reps have all been really good and professional. We live in Amarillo Texas, but I bought it in Denver and I worked with them and it just had been a very good price. I bought the same thing for my ex-wife and another one for my parents. The delivery team came in, set up the bed, showed me how to use it and got out of there.     I’ve previously had a Sleep Number bed and my home was flooded in Hurricane Harvey. I took advantage of Sleep Number's Labor Day sale because I love the product and bought another one. The sales rep was just very helpful and friendly and explained all the different choices and knew her inventory very well.     I have had two previous beds that were Sleep Number beds, and I like their ability to make adjustments on the comfort level. I have had my recent one since December, and the reps I dealt with have been very good. The delivery went well, too. On a cold night, the foot warmers are the best thing ever made. However, I have the frustration that I'm now on my third set of foot warmers for this newest bed. Then I've had to have technicians out twice, and in another eight or nine days, I'll have a technician out there for the third time trying to fix the foot warmers. Nevertheless, I would definitely recommend it.

    We bought our first Sleep Number bed in California over 20 years ago and it was just your basic bed. Then they started to come out with the the squishy tops. We wanted to try a different style so the second one we got had the nice top to it. We got rid of the original bed and right now, we have three Sleep Number beds. One is in in our travel trailer, one’s in a spare bedroom and then we have this fancy one in the master bedroom. We changed to them for comfort and we love them. They’re the best beds ever. The quality is real good too. The second one that we had, which is the 3000, is probably 15 years old and the edges are just now starting to fray. But we’re too cheap and we can’t afford to turn it in and get a new one. We just buy a mattress cover and you don’t see it.

    The last representatives we dealt with were real good and the girl was real helpful. She saw on the computer that we’ve had a bed forever. But she also knew what we wanted and so she went back out there, got it, brought it out and sold it to us. We had noticed that the bed that we were laying on was uncomfortable on the top then she brought out this Tempur-Pedic foam pad and put that on top of it. That sold us.

    When we got the fancy one, they had to hook up the mechanic for the motor and we paid the extra money to have them come out, deliver it and set it up. The two delivery people were real good. It was icy and snowy outside so they wore protection on their shoes so they wouldn’t get the carpet dirty. The guy was kind of training this one girl but he knew what was going on. I left them alone and they had the bed hooked up within the hour. It was good.

    The only thing that we really don’t like about the bed is that there's a space in the middle because it is like two twin beds stuck together. But it’s still the most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on. If one person rolls over, the other person doesn’t feel it. It's a unique experience. We’re also trying to get used to it because they tilt up and down and it’s inflated too. You can have it however high or low you want, and my husband sleeps on a lower setting than I do. It’s good experience and I've told others to go down there and try it out for themselves.

    I have had the DualTemp pad by Sleep Number for about three weeks now. That are great when they work!!! When it wasn't cooling I attempted to do their chat service to figure out the issues. In the beginning I explain all the troubleshooting I did on my own, which is exactly what the rep had me do all over. At one point I had enough because I had already explained I attempted all he had asked to do. I stated I wanted someone to call me and of course a company that provides items for sleeping are not available when you want the problem fixed to go to sleep. They stated someone would call me in 24-48 hours. It's been four days now and no callback.

    Tonight I tried to run on my DualTemp and it would not start and kept giving me an error message on the remote. After unplugging and plugging back in and several attempts it finally worked. I am astonished this product has made it to market with all its flaws. Sleep Number you need to work on your customer service and the quality of your products. It's no wonder you are always having sales, it's to have people buying ** merchandise that they think is great!

    This is one of the most expensive mattress products on market, plus I have to pay $199 for delivery with very disappointing service! If this is the start of our relationship I’m not hopeful for a good experience. When I purchased my new bed, I was so excited. Since no one is available in the mornings, I specially asked for a Noon to Midnight delivery on any day of the month. With two weeks to prepare for delivery, I get tons of emails asking about reviews, yet I receive a text on a Saturday that delivery will be Monday 9 am to Noon. Note this is two weeks after my specific request for any time in the afternoon on any day that was good for the delivery team. Any day!

    When I call delivery customer service, they state their only option is to send an email with the request; which they note is already in file from 2 weeks prior, and possibly someone may or may not help. Then I’m told since it is Saturday, the day they notified me note, there is no way anything can be changed, and they are booked throughout the next week. So if they can’t fix in two weeks, I ask why she thinks one more week will help. Her response is that they make deliveries based on zip code, so there isn’t a way to accommodate me, even though I’m paying for delivery. My question, then why make a request if they know beforehand that no accommodations will be made. I’m very disappointed in my “paid” service much less my customer service experience in the 1st 3 weeks. Poor service doesn’t make up for a possibly good bed, not looking good for the future of my unpaid customer service.

    We've had Sleep Number beds for 20 something years. I had one in our motorhome as well as in our house in Hardin, Texas. We bought a house which we can use in the summertime in Saint Charles, Missouri because we have a seven year-old granddaughter there. We wanted to get a good mattress which was the same as we've always had and so, we bought one from Sleep Number.

    However, the Sleep Number salesroom in the mall was hard for us to get to because my wife can't walk too far. We stopped several times before we could get to the store. The store was on the second floor and we could park and walk straight in, which we did. Still, from the parking lot to the store was a bit a ways for my wife.

    The Sleep Number representative at the mall was nice and he tried. But, I didn't agree with some of the things that he said. My name is Earl, E-A-R-L and most people know how to spell it. He set it up on the Wi-Fi on the bed and typed my name as E-I-L-R. The "E" is the only thing right amongst the four letters and I don't know how to change it on the screen when it comes up. It's still there and I look at it every time on my phone. I wonder why he didn't ask how to spell my name.

    Sleep Number's delivery man was nice as well. He put everything together, cleaned up the mess and chose different features. We really liked our bed especially the Wi-Fi on our phone. We can look at our phone and tell how long it took for us to go to sleep, how long we slept and all those goodies. I'm impressed because I can get my breathing and my heart rate. I've been telling people about it and I think it's really neat.

    We’ve had Sleep Number beds for 25 years. We’ve purchased a California king in the ‘90s and then we’ve also purchased a Sleep Number queen. They didn’t have all the different models than like they do now. And then we just purchased an i8 last year. We went to Valley Fair Mall in San Jose to the Sleep Number store there. We got to try several of the beds. The man who helped us answered all my questions, and it was a very positive experience, and then we purchased a California king.

    The delivery team was very good except they were supposed to check out our queen bed. One of the air mattresses was deflating, and I had purchased another motor for it. On the phone, they told me that it was the motor, not the mattress, but I haven’t tried it yet. And they were going to set it up and try and inflate the mattresses, but then the delivery team left without doing that. And I did call the fellow that delivered it, but he never called me back. That part of it was not great. But as far as taking the old bed out for recycling, setting up the new i8, testing it and explaining how to work the controls, that was very good.

    But I have some issues with the bed. First of all, we ordered the extra long twins instead of just the one that split at the top. They told us to raise the head and the foot part of the bed to put the fitted sheets on. That’s a nightmare. It takes two of us to do it, or if one person does it you have to take a nap in between putting the sheets on. You have to crawl over the bed. And I’m in my 70s and I’m wondering when I’m 90, am I going to be able to do this? So, I did a survey online and I know that my mom didn’t have a Sleep Number bed, but she had two twins together. And the frame actually swung open, like in the shape of a V at the bottom, so that you could push the bottom two beds at the bottom apart and then walk in and perfectly put the sheets on. Ours doesn’t have that feature and it would be just a design mission to create a frame that did this. They have to resolve that problem.

    I think I probably would’ve had the same problem if I’d ordered the bed where just the top lifted up separately. But I wondered about how long those sheets would last with that split just at the top. And so, we decided to do the two twin mattresses so that we could independently put our head and feet up. The other thing is that I’m not real happy with the massage feature. I think it’s a poor massage and it is loud. And I don’t see a lot of difference between the choices of the wave and the different types of the massage that they have on it. I think that could use some improvement. But we love the bed and I would recommend it.

    Sleep Number bed Split King - I have back problems. A take one turned the wrong way, I have sleep apnea which is what caught my attention for this bed. Went, looked bed in store, was wonderful. Yup that's only place that was wonderful. I think they set the ones in store up differently than person's house because my bed is melting... the topper has drooped off the end of the bed. When bed is upright it leans to toward my wall. My son has fallen in the pap and almost suffocated and he's 7 from gap between to sides. And here's how it started. First bed was installed was a little weird angled but thought was normal. After a while manager lady who sold me bed called. Told her bed was shifting. Sheets ripped again because 2 sets had been replaced by her. Told me past 90 days. Not her problem (She got the money her commission. Yes she was manager of the store). Call customer service. So did little while later due to other issues or being outta state.

    I called was told send people look what wrong bed. Guy told me bed was set up completely wrong. He was very upset at how bad it was. He called told them bed set up wrong. He took pics and ordered parts needed which was foam, topper, 2 sets sheets, mattress pad, 2 remotes (ours didn't work most time), and a pump because issues my bed just letting air back out. So send stuff my house. I don't open it except box with 1 remote when have 2 with this bed. Guys show up do bed (different guys). Well no foam. One guy says foam other says no biggie. Just forget it so put on topper left. I'm pissed. Call because told foam no foam, only 1 remote, no pump. I did get 2 sets sheets and mattress pad. I got runaround about back order for foam or person you talked to new or didn't order right. Oh because I then have waited a WK between each person on foam and stuff that never shows up.

    So 3-4 wks later get foam. New guys again fix bed. Well they have replaced foam not pump. Told me not needed yet. 1st guy said needed, first guys replaced mattress topper because they said foam not needed, yet no one has actually fixed the bed. So now not even week later my bed is shifted. The topper hangs way over the bottom of the bed so pulling my sheets super tight and sheets are ripping because the bed was set up wrong. I just want my money back. This is a company that don't care at all for its customers. I will be calling again tomorrow. Wish there was a lemon lay on this bed but funny part most parts have all these warranty for long periods of time because they all fail and get replaced and fail. Anyone would ever ask I would tell them to stay away.

    Worse than car salesman. Just throw model numbers at you and don't bother explaining that the beds have different bases. 100 day trial but the bed you want to change to won't be compatible with your base. I still don't believe them. How can mattress A not work with frame B. The slimy sales pitch is that the frame is not returnable, because it works with any bed. I am being totally ripped off by this company.

    I just wanted to send a note to let you know how happy we have been with our Sleep Number bed. My husband was diagnosed with cancer in August, and he wakes up multiple times during the night due to his condition. Prior to getting our Sleep Number bed, when he would wake up, I would wake up and often, would not be able to get back to sleep. It got to the point where I was taking sleeping pills every night because that was the only way that I could get a full night's sleep.

    Also, the mattress that we had, even though it was only 3.5 year old, was sagging terribly. I was having terrible back spasms almost every morning. We finally decided to purchase a Sleep Number on Black Friday, and we have not regretted it once! I am sleeping SO much better--I don't always wake up when he does, and if I do, I'm able to get back to sleep right away! I haven't had to take any sleep medications since December, and I no longer have back pain. I am really impressed with this bed, and I can honestly say, this is one of the best purchases we have ever made.

    We bought a Sleep Number bed about eight years ago. I had a waterbed that I loved, but my wife started fighting it because the plastics would start getting down the hard side and it was trying to leak. It kind of flooded the bedroom. We looked at different mattresses and my son recommended Sleep Number since he also had a waterbed and went over to it.

    The Sleep Number bed was comfortable, but it was initially not as comfortable as the waterbed. Although, I liked the fact that I could change the Sleep Number really quick as my needs changed versus the waterbed wherein I had to put, add or reduce water. All I had to do is go up there and press the button. Also, the one drawback that I had with the Sleep Number at first, was that on a cold night, I would get into the bed and it was cold which I didn't like. While with the waterbed, it was feeling warm when I got in there and I could stay warm all night if I had it set at the proper temperature. Then a little over a year ago, we got a Tempur-Pedic mattress and that kind of entrenched it for me that I could get the bed warm in the winter, so it's nice when I'm there.

    Sleep Number's salespeople were also fairly well-trained. I had been to a couple of stores and they all were very professional and polite. They were also willing to solve issues for the most part, however, when I've needed help with things Sleep Number's helpline has a lot to be desired. I've called more than five times and my average wait time was 45 minutes on the phone to get to a person. Then one person admitted towards the end of the call that it was his second day. If he had told me that straight up or had told me to bear with him, that would not be a problem with me because I'd wait for the people to stumble through. And if they needed a supervisor to help them, I'd get that. Still, he wasn't supposed to tell the caller that he was in training.

    But for the most part, the reps were knowledgeable, although most of them have a disconnect. Occasionally trying to get information or giving them information, I realized that I don't have the terminology that they were probably looking for and they had to draw what the problem may or may not be. Still, we're a Sleep Number family. My daughter got a Sleep Number bed last year and then we just got my mom a Sleep Number bed this year.

    Bought a bed and paid almost $8,000 CASH! Now that I am unhappy with the way it makes me feel in the morning I asked them to return my money and come get their crap out of my house. The lady told me I would only get around $3,000 back plus being charged almost $200 to come and pick up their crap from my house when I was assured I would not be charged. They told me I would get 100% of my money back minus what I paid for sheets, which i knew, but they lied from the beginning because all they saw was dollar signs.     My wife and I bought our Sleep Number bed on Valentine's Day. We were told it would not be delivered until the 21st of Feb. No big deal, one week, that is acceptable. We get our email today letting us know we were slotted for 1-5. I called and let the customer service rep at Sleep Number know it would not work for us. I go to work at 1. I was told the next date avaliable would be Wednesday March 7th. That puts it out 3 weeks. All I wanted to do was be able to get a morning window. However, know one can seem to help me with this and now I do not have a new bed for several more weeks.

    I contacted tonight through the chat a representative, to see if we could maybe get an earlier date, and the earliest was March 2nd. Still can't get a specific window. How can I plan anything if I can't choose a window? Do you think I just sit home all day and never leave? This part of your customer service is unacceptable and makes me debate the quality of everything else if your customer service is not there to back it up. Both of your reps that I have dealt with today have not been very polite. The one on the chat changed the subject when I tried to get more information. At this point, I am going to be asking for a refund. I spend over 2k at your store and I have to wait 3 weeks for my new bed is unacceptable and I can't even pick the time just makes this experience even worse.

    It is 8:41 pm on the day that my bed was supposed to be delivered. My delivery window time was between 3 and 6 pm. I was made aware of the delivery time after I called the store. NO ONE FROM SLEEP NUMBER EVER CALLED TO GIVE ME A DELIVERY TIME. I have received no information from Sleep Number regarding my delivery, I have called and called.     I weighed 105 pounds and my husband weighs 205 pounds. And for 26 years, I slept on a slope. We bought Simmons and they were expensive. We were not happy with them at all within the first few months. As I was walking in a mall Sleep Number was in the center of the mall advertising and I talked to them. I found an 800 number and I talked with a man. He gave me all kinds of information. A couple of weeks later, we bought the Sleep Number.

    We've had our first Sleep Number for 20 years. We got the one where the head raises. I don't even think they had one back 20 years ago that did that. We did go a little luxury there. It came with a 20-year warranty then It was about one month shy of 20 years and a small bubble appeared in one of the mattresses. That didn't concern me. The timing was right and there was a really good sale so we purchased another.

    The sales rep was very efficient. She followed up even when they came and delivered it. Apparently, they hadn't sent out the email to the store immediately. She got it within 48 hours and she phoned me right away. I'd recommend Sleep Number. One of my grandsons bought one about a year and a half ago and he's happy. The other grandson is also considering. He's a single, young fellow so it's a lot of money for one person to lay out at one time at his age. But if you want a comfortable sleep, definitely get one.

    I had a Sleep Number in the past and I was having some issues with my bed that I had, so I decided to get Sleep Number and try again. I purchased the mattress and the adjustable base and the reps were great. They worked with us at the store. They were good to deal with because they split the delivery of the mattress from the base because we can’t return the base on that 90 or 100-day program. I really wanted to make sure that it was going to be something that was going to work for me. I didn’t want to own the base and not have the bed. So, it was all good. The overall quality of the product is great, as well. I absolutely love the bed. We’re both having issues with hip pain, and it was funny when in the store they put you on the bed and show you the pressure points and it was exactly where we were both having issues. Ever since we’ve had the bed, the issues have gone away.

    I had another Sleep Number bed from 1996 and we wanted to get the newer upgrades. And in this most recent purchase, we got everything, $1000 worth. It was very good with the sales representative and with the delivery. We just had a problem with one of the pads. The heating pads didn’t work. So they ended up coming a couple of times and having to change all one-half of the bed because there was something snuffling in the wiring in the frame of the bed. They just finished taking care of that last week. So everything is all set and works fine. The guys are good and it was a great experience.

    We recently purchased the i7 (model with memory foam) and are returning it because it doesn’t do a great job at motion transfer. The reason I’m leaving a bad review is that I’m very frustrated that it turned out to be a $600 trial for 3 weeks. We were strongly encouraged to purchased a mattress cover (or our warranty would be void) for $175. Then the delivery was $200 and re-stocking fee was $200. All in all, if you are on the fence and don’t have that much money to spare, I would not purchase it.

    We bought a Sleep Number bed 2 years ago. It is the most uncomfortable bed. An air mattress from a box retailer is better. I’ve complained to Sleep Number. The bed has a hump in the middle and sags when the air mattresses are. They me jump thru hoops taking the bed apart, hurt my back in the process, saying they would have a manager contact me in 24-48 hours. Liars. That was 4 days ago. I had to purchase a mattress topper, to at the least, be able to sleep on this overpriced air mattress. Horrible customer service. Horrible bed. DON'T waste your money.

    I purchased a queen Sleep Number mattress back in 2014. Moved to a new house in 2017 and noticed the mattress had a gap in the middle of it. I went to unzip the mattress to see what was going on and found out that the installers didn’t zip together the air bladders that inflate and deflate the bed. Once I zipped the middle together, I went to zip up the top layer of the mattress and the zipper broke off. I reached out to Sleep Number and they said I had to replace the whole top layer at $300. I paid over $3000 for a mattress that should last for more than 4 years. So much for a 25-year warranty. Not willing to budge.

    I am in my second year of trying to deal with Sleep Number. There is a shocking lack of concern for customer service. These are my primary issues: Every single time I tried to call for assistance, I got a recording saying there was an "unusual" call volume. Clearly not "unusual" as it happened every time I called over a period of almost a year. All but one of the times I called I waited for 40 minutes! Each time; I called approximately six times. Then when I got on the phone it was at least another 20 minutes. That's a large chunk of time from your day. And it's an even larger chunk of time trying to find a free hour to call. The quality of the customer service people I talked ranged from very poor (obviously reading... a... script... very... slowly) to average.

    Then I started calling the number for people who wanted to return the bed and the quality of people got distinctly better. (Willing to pay for good people to talk consumers out of returns?) On this number I could get through in a reasonable amount of time. All in all it took almost two years for them to replace the bed. The new bed has mostly the same issues. I'm so sorry I ever heard the name Sleep Number.

    My husband and I purchased a Sleep Number bed after spending some time in the store and being "sold" on a $7000+ split king. We brought our 5 month old son with us and we’re assured that there would be no issues with him playing, laying, or sleeping in the middle of the bed (I was sure to ask because it was my biggest concern). The saleswoman assured us that her 2 year old has always slept in the middle of her split king without an issue. Later we found out that was a lie. When our bed arrived it was clear that, not only was this not possible but it was a serious safety issue! The gap between our two twin XL beds was so big that our son could fall between and hurt himself or, if sleeping there, suffocate! The gap was at least 6” wide. In the time we had the bed our cat actually did fall in the gap and nearly hurt herself.

    When I spoke with the manager of the Sleep Number store we visited she agreed that no one, baby or otherwise, could be in the middle of the bed and said that the 6” gap between the two beds was “normal” even though there was no gap in the showroom beds we tested out at the store. She recommended we not have a split King and directed me to contact customer service. Sleep Number Customer Service was in no way helpful or understanding. I had to call numerous times and argue with associates about the ethical issue of their sales associates lying. Dishonestly is common in sales but to lie about something that could cause harm or death to an infant is unacceptable! I could not believe that no one seemed to understand how wrong this entire situation was. I specifically asked and was told that the split king was a safe option to have when there is an infant in the house. In reality, it was not safe for him at all!

    After days of fighting we got a partial refund, they picked up our bed and left us with no bed at all since they disposed of our old mattress when they dropped off the Sleep Number. We basically paid to end up sleeping on an air mattress while doing better research on a new bed option. To say our experience was horrible is an understatement. I would compare the sales experience to being at a cheap used car lot and the customer service to that of Walmart. Sleep Number certainly does not conduct itself as the high-end specialized sleep store it claims to be. The bottom line is that lying should never be tolerated and your customers should never be punished for trusting a sales associate at your store. I would never recommend this company or their beds.

    We’ve had five Sleep Number mattresses for over 15 years in our home and we like them. However, I’m not as pleased with my recent purchase. They delivered the mattress and my two grandsons put it all together and made my bed. It’s got a pillow top on it where you lay and it sinks down. I usually get the cheapest one but I upgraded this time and I’m not as happy with it. The mattress is great, except for the pillow top type thing I got. If you keep moving around in the bed, you’ll find a more comfortable spot other than your indention where you’ve laid. I’ve had three back surgeries and Sleep Number is more comfortable to me than a regular mattress. I told my sister about Sleep Number and she got one. She’s had two of them and she loves it.

Have to wait 3 business days for a replacement. Paid $7000 for a bed so my terminally ill wheelchair bound wife with ALS could try to sleep night without undue pressure on her body. Can't tell you how the bed feels as it was pumped up to 100% when installed and have no way to ease reduce the air pressure down to an acceptable level until the new pump comes. For the next 5 or 6 days (because of a weekend) we will be sleeping on a "rock". Thanks Sleep Number.

    Made purchase 1/31/2018. Was told delivery was 2/7/18. On the day of delivery with 1 hour left in our delivery window, we got a call that delivery was cancelled and earliest reschedule was for 2/15/18. Never received any confirmation on 2/15/2018 delivery until the morning of delivery. When we placed order we had concerns with mattress fitting in existing bed frame. We were told that delivery truck will have higher legs on truck in case they were needed during install. Well that is not the case. We were given a catalog and told to order and that it would take 3-5 days for them to arrive, plus $90 additional. For the money that we spent I think the customer service and handling of situations would of been better.

    My wife and I have had the dual temp since 2013. It has been great until my wife noticed the foam layer on top of the dual temp is falling apart. I called the "help" line and chatted with somebody twice and was told that it would be $800 to replace the foam as the warranty was only for 3 years. The dual temp item was $2,000. Everything else is for 10. I asked to speak with a manager and was sent to the main "help" desk line. We were thinking about a Sleep Number mattress to replace our old one; but after this experience I highly doubt we will.

    I love the bed technology but the 360 edge support needs revamping and the delivery service needs to be in-house Sleep Number employees. Three times I’ve had SN beds delivered and all three times, although the last was the best, they all seemed like they really didn’t care. I was told by one team that they are not employed by SN and I’m sure that is the reason for the lack of quality care in delivery and set-up. For such a high quality/priced bed you would expect the delivery team your customers see arrive with your product to be of the finest quality - trained specifically and solely in the SN brand.

    That said, your manager Keyon has made the problems so much easier by being highly trained and ready to listen and help make things better. Lastly, the man who sold me my bed in Sarasota never called to see how things went... no follow-up call, whatsoever. Yet Madison of Palm Beach did take the time to call after I had stopped in to discuss concerns with the p6 edge support issues. Madison never made a dime on my bed purchase yet she took the time to care. She is a real professional. More Keyons and Madisons please.

    We have owned our Sleep Number Bed since 2006 and have experienced zero problems until the clip on the hose connecting to the pump broke. Two years ago we previously looked into replacing the old style of corded controls because the setting numbers no longer showed but decided we could wait. Then my hubby woke up last week with his side of the bed flat due to the clip breaking. I called and had the most INCREDIBLE, positive, awesome, FUN (I have run out of adjectives!!!) Customer experience I have ever had with a warranty item! I wrote the LONGEST Survey review response you have ever probably received and I know for sure my review had the most "HAPPY" exclamation points you have ever seen!

    In fact one of the Survey questions was, "Would you hire the person who assisted you?" and the VERY FIRST thought to pop in my head was, "Hire her, In would ADOPT her!" The person who assisted me (I remember her SN is a ** but for the life of me, I cannot recall her name!) had a HUGE SMILE you could hear in her voice and she was so concerned and helpful it made the whole "I have to spend money thing" a non-issue! In fact, after I paid for the new pump I perused the website and used the $52 Super Bowl code to purchase a pad that will help my husband who radiates heat like the SUN, sleep more comfortably by keeping his micro-climate cool. I didn't even know we have "micro-climates" but I cannot wait for my impulse purchase to arrive!

    We LOVE Sleep Number beds and will never own any other type of bed but because of the extremely positive Customer Service experience I had, I decided to check out the website, I made a purchase AND I can admit to you that I am tempted to BREAK my current bed so I can purchase one of the NEW, incredibly innovative beds you now offer! Then, we went back later to a different store and got some pillows. The sales reps we had were both very good. The guy with the bed helped us key in or confirmed what we wanted and then the pillow guy helped us pick the pillows out. The delivery guys were also very good and they were done in 45 minutes. I had some questions and they showed us how to use and set it. And the bed has helped us sleep better. Each side is different and my wife and I like to adjust it.     I found Sleep Number to use 'car salesman' like tactics. Never will I go back nor recommend. Do you know you cannot return any merchandise even if only 10 minutes past the purchase... All you get is a credit? What store does not allow returns for full credit, of never-opened packages bought within the last week? I was warned by friends not to buy any of their bedding. I succumbed to the sales pitch. Look closely at their sheets, there is reason that you can't see them through their packaging. The outside tag does not tell you much about what you are getting.

    I purchased a C4 bed and at this time the price of the C4 bed - list $1599.99 I got $300 off and was told it was the best deal ever, only to get another flyer in the mail 3 days later, before my bed was even delivered, where my price would have been $500 off. To get refunded the difference in price was and is a fiasco. I still don't have any credit returned to me nor any confirmation that I will get a credit. They will not adjust price in the store and I was told the only way to get a price adjustment is to call customer service. I spend over an hour spend on the phone so far. Price adjustment is by far the main reason I will never recommend this business. I bought this item in a store, why can't they adjust the price in the store. Seems to me they are taking long enough so that they ad/coupons expire or that I will stop calling. It is most ridiculous.

    Also I had ordered a bed frame as I was told this was definitely needed, but it turned out my frame was much stronger, better built than their $299 frame, so it was not even taken off of the delivery truck. I did not yet get my money back for the $299. I had to call customer service and they have to wait 10 more days (already been a week) to confirm that I did not have that piece delivered. I truly believe, I would never get the credit, if I had not called. I have yet to get my refund for the base that never left their delivery truck and I'm truly wondering if I ever will.     My wife and I are both having some back issues. She did a lot of research and thought that a Sleep Number bed was something that could probably help us. So we went ahead and purchased it. We travel full-time in our RV in a motorhome and we bought one for the motorhome. And now we are in Arizona in what they call a park model and we wanted one for that also so we wouldn't have to move it back and forth. So we own two of them.

    We bought our first one when we're in Santa Fe, New Mexico. We went to one of their stores and the salesman was excellent, very nice, answered all our questions, and took care of everything. We had it shipped to a UPS store in San Antonio because we were going to be there by the time it would be ready for us. Then, we picked it up with our motorhome and it was great. And then we went to purchase the second one in Mesa, Arizona. We went to another Sleep Number store at a local one. The same salesperson was in the store. He had moved. It was so weird walking in and I said, "I know this guy." But he hooked us up and it was again a great experience. He helped us out tremendously, especially the first time around when we shipped to another location where we'd be in our motorhome. He made sure everything was there and it worked out great.

    We had our second purchase delivered right to our site here in Mesa and it was a great experience. They let us know who's coming and they were on time. I'll do it again. It really made us sleep more comfortable. As we travel, we could adjust it accordingly and we just felt much more comfortable than with the other mattresses that we've had. And we had a variety through the years. We're very happy with it and we have recommended it to at least two other people. A friend of ours from Albuquerque, New Mexico who also have an RV bought one.

    Absolutely the worst sales experience and service I've had in a long time. After describing our current bed frame to the associate, he completely lied and said the adjustable frame would fit inside. So we bought both the frame and mattress, and didn't find out until the installation that, no, it definitely would NOT fit and we'd have to completely dismantle our furniture to get it to work. The installation tech did not give us an option to refuse the frame, and instead told us to reschedule. Two weeks later, they came back and installed just the mattress, as we refused the adjustable frame.

    Now's where the next part of the nightmare started. We had opened a store card for financing the bed, and we've spend days and hours trying to sort out the charges! Even after 25 days it's still not showing the refund for the frame, and somehow our credit line is negative, even though we only used half of what it allowed. Calling back and forth between Sleep Number customer service and Synchrony has been nothing but GIGANTIC pain in the ass as each one refers to the other to solve the problem. Well, let me tell you how Sleep Number does not help you sleep better!!!

    We purchased a king FlexTop bed, and after having the bed for a month the gap between the two mattresses had opened from 2 inch to 6 inches wide. We asked customer service to send a tech to look at it, but they refused and said the gap should be that big. We decided to exchange the mattress for a non-flexible, and when the new mattress arrived, the Tech told us that the only problem with the old mattress was that the installation was not done properly.

    The new mattress lifts on the sides and after lying on the bed for a couple of hours it feels we are sleeping in a hole. If I set the bed at 100 over time it deflates down to 95 or 85. Again, I called customer service and after begging them, they sent a tech to check the bed, he recommended to request 2 chamber lifts, and a new pump to fix the problem. Presently, I’m waiting for their call to let me know if they can send us what the Tech recommended.

    The last 4 months have been exhausting dealing with all the problems this bed has. Currently we get up with back and body aches every day, but the worse part of it is not having the option of returning the defective bed and get our money back. We absolutely HATE this bed and the only thing that will make us sleep better and have peace of mind is for Sleep Number to come and pick up their glorified air mattress.

    I have wanted a Sleep Number bed for some time. We bought one a couple of weeks ago. King split. I really wanted to have the head and feet to be raised. However I have not had a good nights sleep since we got it. I wake up every morning with a backache and headache. I have tried every setting from 40-70 with the same results. I have also tried different levels for head and feet. Also the bed is way too low but nothing was mentioned at the time. We didn’t realize how low it was till it was delivered. We went back and had to buy longer legs. They wouldn’t exchange them. And we have to fix it ourselves. If they do it it would be another $200. We also have the SleepIQ which hasn’t worked well. 2 nights it said there was no data recorded when everything was set properly.     Our Sleep Number P6 bed arrived on January 5. Within a week the left side of the king size bed was not working right and was losing air. I called the helpdesk and was told to turn off features that came with the bed and to try a few night with them off. We did this and it did not work. I called again and the customer service rep wanted me to be a technician and crawl under the bed and start unconnecting hoses. After much conversation he finally ordered replacement parts.

    Another week passes replacement parts finally come in and a technician comes out to fix the bed. When the technician arrived and realized the wrong parts arrived he attempted to try to put a temporary fix by putting a queen air chamber into a king bed. We were told that the new part would be sent to us overnight. Four days later still no part, the bed is the most uncomfortable thing I’ve ever slept on. It will most likely be going back to the store permanently. A $3000 bed should not be this difficult a month into the process. For a company this size Sleep Number to not take care of the customer in a timely fashion is completely unacceptable and will likely lead to eventual failure.

    I liked the up and down feature of the leg and head parts of the Sleep Number bed. Also, their saleslady was absolutely wonderful, the greatest person in the world. I love her. When I bought the bed, I got the sheets. Then when I got home and got the bed, I ordered the pillows and she sent them to me through the mail. Also, the delivery team was really nice and cooperative. They were very helpful with the set up of the new bed. I was surprised how quickly they set it up. They are very professional and the girl that I bought the bed from called me and asked me how things were. Everybody has been nice. I love sleeping on the bed. It is perfect. I already recommended my saleslady to somebody else who bought a bed right after me and they just got their bed a week ago.
