I received an email requesting my review and was told in the store that reviews would give me points to receive discounts on bedding. I submitted an honest and very positive review regarding my experience from the first store visit to delivery of my bed. I contacted Sleep Number via online live chat to inquire about my points. The agent was reluctant to assist but when pushed he finally looked at my inner circle account. He then told me I would have to do another review because that one didn’t go toward my points because my inner circle account wasn’t set up yet. He was able to verify my purchase and verify I had submitted a review but he said he could not add the points to my account. I later emailed Sleep Number directly but have not received a response.

I really appreciate you bringing this to our attention, Angela. If this hasn't been resolved yet, please give our Customer Service Team a call so they can review your account and ensure you've received your points for submitting a review.

To whom it may concern. I purchased a Sleep Number bed on 11/19/2018 and had it delivered to my home. I had to pay $300.00 extra for delivery. I also had to pay extra for the controller to adjust the bed. I was not told that at the time of purchase so it was just added onto my bill, another $39.00 extra. I had all kinds of problems with the bed. Very uncomfortable no matter what number we put it on. We always ended up falling into the middle of it. I have a bad back so nothing seem to work. They did have someone come to the house to see if they could make it more comfortable by adding more foam but the cost would have been $300.00 more and still would not fix the problem.
I called to have the bed removed from my house on 12/17/2018. They said it would be a cost to pick it up of $200.00. I told them I was not told that when I purchased the unit. I had also put over $300.00 in cash to purchase the base. Also it is like paying an extra $500.00 for shipping and take away. When you are on a fixed income this is a lot of money to put out extra. The sales person in charge did not go through all of these options. I think they are making a lot of extra money on people like us who can’t afford to spend more for something that did not work out for us. Now I am stuck with a bill for an extra $200.00 to pick up the bed. I would like someone to call me on this. I still have a bill to pay and do not have the bed anymore. When I talked to someone in customer service she said that she could do no more for me.

I have two beds that I purchased from Sleep Number and I've had them for 13 or 14 years. This time, I bought the mattress and the lift kit from them. The young lady that helped me was very thorough, very knowledgeable, and very personable. Then, for the delivery, they gave me the setup time and the mattress met all my expectations.
The only thing that really shakes me over and made me a little bit upset was that I purchased the bed and I had to pay full price for it, which is over $7,000. Then, I didn’t end up taking delivery for the bed for two months because of what was going on in my household and then when I got it, they had a big sale and it dropped it down by $3,000. I called in and said I just took delivery on the bed and they said it was too bad because I bought the bed two months before. That upset me a bit and to me, it was very, very poor customer service. Especially since I've had two previous beds from them. It’s not like I was a first-time customer. I'm a very loyal customer and I tell my friends it's a great bed but they don't buy their beds because the price point is way too high. Other than that, I love the bed and I enjoy it.

We had a positive experience. Our salesman, Seth was very informative and we left feeling great about our experience. We tested 3 different beds and decided on the i8. The videos really explained the process and how the bed works. We're looking forward to getting our order next week.

Awesome and knowledgeable technicians who explained all features of the bed and how to operate all. The team arrived 15 minutes early and was done within one hour. This P6 bed is the best bed I have ever owned. I sleep like a baby now and feel refreshed in the morning.

My husband and I sleep totally different. He has a lot of back issues, so we decided to go with the Sleep Number, and we absolutely love it. The sales team that we dealt with was very knowledgeable, friendly, and was there when we had any questions. The delivery team was fantastic. Everything was on time, they called ahead of time, and it went very smoothly. We had a great experience with Sleep Number. I wouldn't give up our Sleep Number bed for the world. I get the best night's sleep with it. It's the best decision we have made in a very long time, and I've talked my sister into buying one too.

We purchased the queen i8 mattress only. Turns out the adjustable bed frame we already had worked on the i8 mattress. The bed works well for wife who had hip replacement. I myself don't notice much difference regardless of number setting. Service after sale has a lot to be desired. We got a call two weeks after purchase. We had Sleep Number deliver the mattress and set everything up. These people did an awesome job moving old mattress to storage. When we told the people from Sleep Number who called us two weeks after the delivery that our bed was programmed wrong, they said we were reading it wrong and cut our conversation short.
When my wife goes to bed a lot earlier than I do to read and watch TV and I sleep in, it is obvious which side of the bed is me and which side is my wife. We eventually figured out how to reprogram bed. We were told each bed is customized to its customer which is why it takes 10 days to get bed delivered. This is BS. A queen i8 is the same for everyone. The 10 days is to allow other beds going in the same direction to be added to shipment which makes sense financially.
A month after the sale, the person selling us the i8 called us to see how things were going. When we explained our situation with customer service, she didn't seem to concerned but went on to let us know there was a President Day sale coming up that she thought we would be interested in saving money on regarding accessories. I am assuming she probably gets commission on any purchases we make here as well. For the money people spend on Sleep Number beds, I would think the service after sell would be second to none. NOT The bed is nice but not sure if it was worth what we paid for it.

I had a Sleep Number before and when they sent me a coupon for $1,000 off, I took advantage of it. I researched on the web which one I wanted, then I went to the store in Oceanside. Our transaction was pretty fast as I already knew which bed I wanted because I've had them before and I liked the sales lady a lot. But so far, the 360 software only works 60% of the time. One of the reasons why I got that software was so I could do the tracking on the iPhone and sometimes if I was in bed, it would work for an hour and a half then it wouldn't. So, the software still needs some work. Other than that, I'd recommend the bed.

I'm sorry you've had some trouble with our SleepIQ Technology, Cindy. I'd recommend performing a Baseline so your bed can have a fresh reading and will provide you with better data going forward.

Select "Bed Name" under the Bed Settings
Select Troubleshooting
Select “Baseline Bed” under the Troubleshooting section
Follow prompts

Our $9000 plus bed supposedly with positioning and firmness adjustments - continually has "connectivity" problems - quits working for days at a time - often with the head of the bed elevated, which makes it non-usable for sleeping. Tech support has us trying to crawl under the bed (I am 87, my wife is 75) which is impossible since there is only 2 inches of clearance on this platform bed.
Customer service has no answers other than our spending hundreds of dollars more to fix something that should be covered under warranty (less than 2 years old). Looking at all the similar complaints about Sleep Number, it is time to contact those nice lawyers in upstate New York that file all the class action lawsuits in Mississippi and let them have a go at Sleep Number Corporation in Minneapolis. Their CEO is Shelly Ibach, address: 1001 3rd Ave S, Minneapolis, MN 55404. Let's ALL write to him/her and let them know how really bad their customer service plan is - and why it is not good to make people who can afford a $9000 bed so dis-satified and angry.

I'm sorry for the trouble you've had with your bed, William. We strive to make our beds easier to service, should our owners have any trouble, which is why our 25 Year Limited Warranty provides coverage for replacements due to manufacturer defects but doesn't include a technician. We can often do troubleshooting right over the phone or online and get a solution on its way often in less time than it would take for a technician to come out and report back to us. If you'd prefer to have one of our technicians come out and go through the troubleshooting for you or install a replacement part, that is an option we can offer for a fee. The delivery guys were very professional and my wife and I felt went above and beyond to provide great service to us. The bed had to go up a narrow solid wood staircase and I even had to take the railings off the side of the staircase to be able to make the bend to get it upstairs. I and my son also helped get this up. The delivery/set up guys were great about it, especially since we were their last stop of the day and they were tired I am sure and they never complained. My wife and I were very impressed with the guys. Thank you for going above and beyond and you have some good workers working for you. Nathaniel and Frederick thank you both for the great service and not rushing thru and explaining and answering any questions we asked. We are very pleased so far.

We had a Sleep Number bed for 12 years and it was time to get rid of it and get a new one. This time, we purchased everything. We got the frame, the bed frame itself, the mattress and the $199 mattress pad. Their rep, Jenna, was very professional and friendly and she bent over backwards to make sure that we got what we wanted and needed. Plus, she followed up with us. Also, the delivery team was absolutely great. They came in when they said they were going to and they were efficient. They couldn't have done more to explain everything to us. We love our Sleep Number bed. It is so comfortable.

Trevin was great. He knew every question I asked, and I never got the impression he was sales pitching my wife and I. He genuinely cared we picked the best bed for our sleeping needs. Which such an expensive purchase I felt my wife and I were more important than the sale. The store was clean and comfortable. Overall, an excellent experience.

Called Sleep Number yesterday to return the bed and were advised that they would not refund the base ($3,000+)! Have had backaches since we got the bed. Went round and round with customer service. They also will charge us $199 to come and pick up just the mattress. Everything they tried to offer as a solution cost us money. So so disappointed with this company!!! We are finding that Sleep Number is censoring our other reviews and in fact will not accept our negative review on their website. I will be surprised if this review is accepted.

When our Sleep Number bed was originally installed on 12/12/18, they installed it too high. I have ALS, the reason for purchasing the bed, and it was extremely difficult for me to get in the bed. Worried we might somehow void the warranty if we attempted to lower the bed, we called Sleep Number to lower the bed. The technicians arrived on 1/25/19 and lowered the bed. Prior to this date, I had no other issues with the bed other than the height.
On the night of 1/25/19 around 11:30, my side of the bed suddenly deflated to Sleep Number 20. My normal setting is 60. It is extremely difficult for me to turn in bed. With the bed deflated, it’s even more difficult. I finally accessed my phone and started the process to re-inflate. This took about 20 minutes. On the night of 1/26/19, the same thing occurred twice; once at around 11:20 and the second around 3:00 AM. I re-inflated my side of the bed. This time to 100. The bed seems to hold pressure at this high setting, however it’s not very comfortable.
Monday night, 1/28/19, my wife called the service center. The lady she spoke to didn’t have much knowledge about your product. She had a difficult time even accessing the service manual. She told us that we only got one free service call and subsequent service calls would cost $199. Frustrated with this lack of service expertise, we asked about returning the bed. She told us we only had 30 days to return the bed. The salesman at your store in Lafayette told us we had between 30 and 100 days to return it. 100 day return is also what your literature says. She talked to her manager and got the service call reduced to $99. So we have the technician scheduled to come back out.
My issues, other than the inadequate service representative with the bed are: 1. The bed is still under warranty and this being within the first 100 days there should be no charge for service. 2. The issue with the bed deflating was obviously caused be something your technician did when lowering the bed. 3. For the amount of money I paid for this bed, I expect better and more prompt service than what I am receiving. Did I make a mistake buying your product?

We’d heard good things about Sleep Number, and we were walking by one of their stores, tried it out and it felt great. The bed was delivered and set up and the delivery guys were very professional. Customer service checked back after we got it. The only complaint I’ve got on the new Sleep Number bed is they have a magnetic holding system on the bottom to keep the mattress from slipping on the frame that doesn't work too well. The mattress slips and it leaves a gap between the headboard and the mattress. But I love the bed. I got it adjusted for what I’d like, and my wife has a different adjustment. We don’t need to do something that neither of us likes, we can heat and cool each side the way we want and we can lift up each side the way we want. It’s perfect.

I have called in 4-6 times since Dec 2018 about my Full Split King size bed. Very long wait time and support is not that helpful. Just want you to reset remotes every time I call in. This is the 2nd bed I have bought from Sleep Number and have had 3 friends buy a Sleep Number after me talking about the how nice the bed is. I am now ordering a new pump for a 3 year old bed to see if this will work with the no connection error our bed. The bed has become a headache more than a good night sleep due to the issues we are having.
The first time I called in I was told I need a separate remote for my dual temps because they are causing issues with the main remote. The dual temp remotes came in and work fine but still the same issue with the main remotes. I wish I could rave to others about the bed but this bed has had more problems that it is worth. O' when we first got the bed we had to have a new pump sent to us to fix an issue but received the wrong pump so had to call in again and then we received the correct pump. What has happen with the quality of your beds?

We purchased the i8 Flex top. Hate the way the mattress splits! It makes it very difficult to sleep next to your partner. We actually had the top part of our mattress replaced once as the gap was so large you could fit a small child in it! It is some better, but is still large enough to fall into and is uncomfortable when trying to sleep next to one another. The salesperson at the store commented to us on a trip in after our purchase that the person who sold us our bed was no longer with them and that she never promotes that bed to customers. She then told us to cut a pool noodle in half and stick in the hole! Works great, she says! Wow! So glad we have that option to fix the hole in the middle of our expensive mattress!
Our first 2 set of sheets have ripped at the bottom where the mattress splits. This time it is almost across our entire mattress, both sides. One time they replace them, which is awesome as it should be! This time after 70 minutes on the phone they offered 40% off of $320.00 and refused to ship them quickly even though they are in crazy poor shape! It will take 3-5 business days to be shipped out of course. Funny, they expedited shipping the last time. No option to just order the bottom sheet each time, you have to order a complete sheet set each time. Very frustrating! If you pay top dollar for a product then you expect a product with top-notch customer service. Not a great bed, and terrible sheets.

If I could give Sleep Number a 0 star I would! Not only has this been the worst experience of my life but the customer service team is AWFUL! I ordered the i8 king size bed. Before I even got the bed I had issues. It started with how I had to pay for set up and delivery because of it being the "i" series. Then I downloaded the app because that is what a video I watched recommended. When I put in my information it said it couldn't be found. When I called customer service they said it would take between 3-5 business days to correct. Okay, I get it everyone is busy. Then my mattress comes 3 days later. No app still. No call or email from customer service. Great. So the delivery people called and said I had to have the app or PURCHASE the remote.
No one EVER told me I had to buy a remote that I thought came with the bed. Wow... Fortunately the deliver guy felt so bad, he gave me an old model for free. That was the first and only good thing that came out of this. The first night sleep my husband woke up and his side was deflated. I slept like crap too. The mattress is far too hot for me. We made the choice after the second night of too hot and deflation to call and have it returned. They said it was going to take 2 weeks for the people to come and get it. So I asked if I could return it to the store and they said the store does not accept returns. Literally the ONLY purpose of the store is to test the mattresses. WHICH IS CRAZY!
I called to see if I could pick a different time slot for pick up and they said no because that is the only time they had for that day. So I asked about other day's they would be available with a PM time slot and magically they didn't have anything until February 12th! That is ANOTHER 2 weeks! Not only that but they said I would not be guaranteed to have that time anyways. I have to literally miss work for them to come get my mattress because they are not accommodating whatsoever. My recommendation is to RUN. Run far away from making this purchase! Also, you have to pay $199 TWICE for them to drop off and remove their crap mattress. Which is honestly probably how they stay in business!

We bought a new Sleep Number bed in the fall of 2018 and this was our fourth purchase from them. When it came to installing the bed, the gentleman took care of everything and he showed us how to use the new programmable one. We like our Sleep Number products very much. We travel and a lot of times, I do not sleep very well but with the Sleep Number bed, I have no problems sleeping on it. I’m very pleased.

My Sleep Number bed is everything I expected and more. My main reason for getting it was that I needed to sleep with both head and feet raised. I am very pleased that I can vary these elevations depending on my needs. Adjusting the firmness of the bed is a big plus and is providing much more comfort during sleeping.

Very good product and I am sure it will give us the same great service our old Sleep Number bed did. It is so easy to adjust and has unlimited settings to get the best possible nights sleep. You can even track you sleep pattern on your smart phone.

We had a 15-year old Tempur-Pedic that had finally broken down and we were looking for something in the same king size model but that had more of that body temperature control, and it could have different pressures for us. That's what you can do with Sleep Number beds. If you buy the king size, it comes in two units. My wife can have her own pressure, and I have my own.
The sales rep we worked with was very helpful. There was another set of customers with us and he bounced back and forth and would set us up and have us go through a little series of things. Then he would help the other people set up, and then he would come back to us. He worked hard for that 45 minutes that we and the other couple was there. The home delivery went fast. They were here in less than an hour and we let them set it up. They knew what they were doing.
So far, we like our Sleep Number bed. It was equivalent to a grade seven, and it had the foot and head elevation on both sides. It also got this app so you can see how you slept in the morning by looking at your phone. It was fine for a while. But we don't look at it that often now. I use the head up every once in a while to finish off watching TV before I fall asleep. Even though we overspent to get the two features with the app and the elevation change, we're still happy with the bed. At times, I think we sleep better than we did. Someone mentioned that if we didn't like the up and down feature, we could have them bring a different one out and get a refund. I couldn't do that. Other than that, two different sets of friends of ours came in, and had been thinking about Sleep Number, and looked at the bed. I know one definitely went and bought a bed.

Split King - Truly was wrong bed for us. Can't get close, its a bad deal for us, we like to be in touch with each other. Bed has made a big difference in my sleep. I had lots of pain from pressure points, bed has cured those problems, but could have done this with a different model. Bed is great. Wife is Pissed.

We bought Sleep Number's products years ago for comfort as well as for aches and pains, and we love our experience with them. A couple of months ago, we went from a queen to a king. Prior to this, we have two queen air mattresses and now we have the king which is an upgraded kind. The sales rep was very knowledgeable and good. We scheduled a home delivery of our purchase. The delivery guys came and set the mattress up really quickly. They were very efficient and nice. Overall, the quality of the bed that we recently got is perfect. It is the best and I sleep like a baby on it.

Purchased an I8 and Flexfit 3 on 12/13 and the salesperson scheduled delivery for 2/23. Received a call that was followed up with an email on 1/21 that the delivery would be between 11:00 and 2:00 on 2/23. Had sold our current bed and had it picked up at 9:30 on 2/23. Got a call from the delivery company at 9:53 and they said they could not deliver the bed due to weather (Act of God) that was to take place between 11:00 and 2:00 due to weather. They would have to reschedule for 1/31.
Eight days later. I asked them if they could bring that date in with no success. I then called the store and they directed me to call customer service. I called customer service and they could not improve the 8 day delay and had no other solutions. They offered a small credit (about the same as the delivery fee). I accepted the credit but am looking at a solution from another company due to the lack of ownership the company shows for missed commitments. If they had just pushed out the date a day or two I would understand based on the winter weather, but 8 days is unacceptable. Don’t have your old bed picked up until the new one is set up and working.

We enjoy our i10 Bed now 4 years old. Recently had to replace remotes. What an experience. After call customer support I learned that I could purchase replacement remotes and that my warranty would offset part of my cost... Sounds good so far. The warranty is pro-rated and after 4 years, the 20-year warranty covered only 68% of the cost of the new remotes... Hang in there, it sounds better than it is.
A new remote on their website is $49.00, however if you want to purchase a new remote using your warranty, the cost is about $199.00 before they credit your warranty coverage. I ended up paying $68.00 each after warranty credit (36% above the cost of just buying a new one from their website). My fear now is that if I have to purchase any other parts that go bad, I am going to be paying inflated prices like I did for the remotes. From my experience, given the pro-ration of your warranty and its application to inflated prices, you really don't have a warranty with much value. I am unlikely to be a future purchaser of a Sleep Number bed.

We’d had Sleep Numbers in the past and we were pleased with them. The last one we had was an older model, and it was sagging into the middle. Both my wife and I have sore backs, and so we started looking around at various products and saw that Sleep Number had improved theirs. We went to the store and tried it out, and found out that it was very comfortable. The store was in Roseville, Minnesota and it was well laid-out with all the various levels of beds. We started at the basic level and went through the various features. The comfort of the bed changed as we went through the various levels, and we found the level that suited both of us. I have a sore hip and a sore back, and the Sleep Number bed is able to accommodate. For the sore hip, you need a softer mattress and with the sore back, you need a firmer mattress. Because I'm able to elevate the feet on the foot of the bed, I'm able to support my legs. So, I was able to solve both problems.

My daughter bought Sleep Number for us. She bought two of them, one for them and one for us. It's a double mattress. I could make two beds out of it if I wanted to. We had it delivered. They brought it in here and set it up, and they tore the old one down. We really like it a lot. And I spend too much on it according to my wife.

Having had lower back pain for a while, my husband and I decided on a Sleep Number bed after speaking with friends who had similar struggles and had chosen Sleep Number. We have been very happy with our bed overall. We love the comfort, the fact that one can change the firmness whenever needed, and having the ability to each control our own sides and to raise and lower the head and feet. We have found that the top mattress slides quite a bit to one side and it is difficult to move it back into place.
Just this morning I received a phone call from a friend who owns a Sleep Number bed and is in the process of getting a new bed. She was taking the bed apart for the trash and discovered black mold on the inside of her bed. She kindly called us as she was worried we might have the same issue. As we quickly unzipped the mattress cover and lifted our foam pad, we in fact discovered black mold spots on the white air chamber cover and a bit on the padding. Furthermore, we felt a dampness in the foam pad that was concerning.
We are quite upset as after only one online search we found many, many complaints of black mold within these beds. It is very unsettling and disappointing that this was not brought to customers' attention and the matter rectified. Our bed was made after the early 2000s, so the company's claim that all beds made after then don't have this problem is false. We are extremely disappointed to find a significant health concern within our bed!

We think it is really important to know that while situations like this are rare, common household mold can occur in any mattress or piece of upholstered furniture under certain conditions. Mold spores are present in ALL outdoor and indoor environments.
Our testing revealed common household mold levels were in each case lower than mold levels typically found in normal outdoor air and were generally lower than or comparable to mold levels found within buildings with good air filtration systems. We have been advised by independent experts that for consumers with mold allergies to be affected, the mold spores must be airborne or otherwise come in direct contact with the consumer, and this does not appear to be caused by our product.

We were given unlimited time by the asst. manager to familiarize ourselves with the product. All our questions were answered. We had some prior knowledge regarding competitors. I liked the fact that only Sleep Number stores sold the beds. We wound up buying two king articulating beds. And the 25 year guarantee and 100 day return allowance only enhanced the experience.

Since I am not very computer literate I suggest sales staff may want to explain to potential customer the need for smart device and/or computer and wifi. I am still getting to know the remote. I have had less hip pain & less tossing with the bed. I am not getting more sleep since I have issues with OAB and insomnia & no bed can help with those.

I bought a lifetime mattress but my wife was dissatisfied with it. She said it was too cushiony. My sister had a Sleep Number and she turned me on it 'cause she loved it. I ended up getting the two twin-sized supports. The salesman was really great. They had a sale so the bed that I got was a little bit less expensive, but I decided that I wanted the heat because when my feet would get cold, my whole body would also get cold. They sent me a book about a heated blanket. I loved that, it was nice but my wife was scared to death of the damn thing. My old girlfriend told me to wash those heated blankets a certain way because if the wiring is messed up, it can cause a fire, and the blanket almost burned our friend's daughter. I had to wait for the other bed. I ordered the mattress with warming on it and lifting the head up.
My wife's Sleep Number is up to 100. She likes the mattress hard and she sleeps on it. I would have saved us a whole lot of money if I'd just get some plywood and put a blanket over the damn thing. My number is 55. Also, it's a huge bed. The guys couldn’t get it up the steps. They asked me if it would be the one that I would take to the nursing and I told them it would be taken to a retirement. On top of that, the mattress tore out some of the molding along with the tile, but I didn't bother about it. Normally, when taking up or bringing down a queen-sized mattress, I had to take the molding off. I told the guys that it was my fault because I forgot. They did a good job.

100 day trial is a scam; they took advantage of a cancer patient. Sleep Number scammed my cancer stricken wife. She was trying to find a solution for discomfort due to advanced cancer. Sales person convinced her to purchase high end everything. "Don't worry, you get 100 days to try it and if you don't like it you can return it." Shame on us for not suspecting the slimness of this company. Yes, the paperwork does say you cannot return the FlexFit base. But decent human beings would tell you that during the sales process. My wife was in terrible pain, on significant pain drugs and desperate for a solution. So, now we have a $3,500 base that cannot be returned. These people took advantage of a very sick person. With these types of policies, you have to know what kind of company this is. There are plenty of quality companies out there that actually stand behind their products. Unfortunately, Sleep Number is not one of them.

Good store, good sales staff but product does not live to expectations. Firm is not firm enough, foam retains too much heat. Try for 100 days, will cost you a lot of money, enough to buy a regular mattress. When you take into account, set up, delivery, sheets (which if you return) you are stuck with them at the tune of over $300.00) and lastly, pick up charge. Will not recommend and they do not tell you about these cost. We are still paying for remaining balance on finance amount. I DO NOT RECOMMEND TRYING FOR 100 DAYS. WORST THAN MULTI LEVEL MARKETING. Oh and by the way, when you return they do throw away bed except for some reusable parts.

I've had a Sleep Number bed for 25 years and recently upgraded to a new one. I bought the 360, which is the top of the line. I purchased it in South Dakota and I had it installed in Arizona. Their reps are great people, both in South Dakota and in Arizona. They were very helpful and knew their products. They explained everything and left no questions unanswered. Plus, the delivery team came in and set the bed up exactly like they were supposed to. The guy who remodeled my house took the old Sleep Number home for himself and he loves it. He thinks it's the greatest thing he has ever had.

The bed is the hardest bed I have ever slept on. Woke up sore every day with what sleep I got which wasn't much. I and my husband is very unhappy. Call to return it and they tell me that we will be charged a 199.00 for pickup. Then they said we were charged 199 for delivery so I have to pay 400 dollars for a bed that I want to return. Didn't even have this bed for a full week before we knew it wasn't for us. It's that bad. The salesman Never said anything about 199 delivery fee or 199 to return. This bed is basically a glorified air mattress. Terrible bed??? Didn't even want to give it a one star but had to do it.

Please thoroughly investigate your purchase. Do not sign their papers until you have tried other mattresses. I haven't slept more than 3-4 hours a night since we got our P6. It's so uncomfortable... Not at all like the store model. I wake up with my back, neck, legs, hips and shoulders in pain every morning. I have taken ** everyday since we got it. It's not at all conducive to couples cuddling in the least... Such an uneven surface. It's either extremely hard or you sink into it. All things you can't experience in a short store test.
While the store personnel are nice... Customer service rep was extremely rude. She would not let me talk to anyone else and told me to just sit the mattress in another room and call back on day 31. They won't even start a return until day 31. I can't tolerate another 26 days in this bed. Not to mention that we are out over $400 for them to deliver it and now pick it up plus $220 for the mattress pad they talked us into that they won't take back. So Sleep Number made over $620 off of us, for a product that was misrepresented by the store model. Almost $4,000 for the worst sleep of my life, and now they're keeping $620 of our money, and we have to go buy another mattress. I have never had such a terrible and regrettable purchase. This has been a nightmare and we're not even through the hard part.

We have four Sleep Number beds. The recent one was on the Labor Day sale and it was a bit of an upgrade from the usual half-year sale. It is queen size and you could program it into your phone, for one thing and it was a little bit more construction than the classic. It has temperature balance. The sales reps are good people. I told them it was going into our guest bedroom that was in the basement, but what they didn’t take into consideration is the Wi-Fi signal. It was all supposed to be run by the app on your iPhone and my grandson is going to be sleeping down there when he goes to grad school.
The guy that was setting it up had a real difficult time setting it up because there wasn’t enough signal in the basement. We had to buy a controller rather than just run it with the app and that was like 39.99. But we also had to go buy at Best Buy a set of Google pods so that we could amplify the Wi-Fi signal to be able to use it the way it’s supposed to be doing. Nevertheless, it's the best bed we’ve had out of the four.
We have two king-size beds. The first one we got is down here in Arizona. That was our very first one in 2013 and we liked it so much that when we went back in 2014 we bought one for our house in Fargo. The one in Arizona, we had to get the top replaced because it crushes. We got this big body depression. That’s an issue with those two king beds. We also have a queen-size and it’s in the guest room in Fargo. We’ve had that about five years and that one is great.
Both of the queen models that we have in our home in Fargo have dual bladders and they’re just really good. They really hold everything. But those pillow-tops crushes right away. So now we’ve got body deformation again. It just doesn’t feel as firm as I would like it to be. Nevertheless, we’re always recommending Sleep Number to our kids and our friends. We have a friend who have a very high-end motorhome and he has back problems. We recommended that he get the one with a little bit different size configuration for their RV home. They did and they loved it.

I had to replace a bed and I went to look at Sleep Number. I spoke to a sales professional there and he demonstrated the number of the beds and told me what the various prices were and the pros and cons. It was very professional. I bought their bed and the delivery team was great. They took their time setting up the bed and they did a good job. Sleep Number is a good product and my sleep has improved. It hasn’t improved to be perfect, but it’s getting there.

We purchased our bed on October 13, 2018. At that time we were told that each bed was specially made for the customer so it would be several weeks for delivery. We were also told that we would receive a remote to control the bed. The bed was delivered on October 31, 2018, we started having problems with it right off the bat. The night it was delivered the left side air chamber started deflating for no reason. This was the first time I was on the chat service with someone.
Within two weeks the air chamber on the right side started deflating nightly. So once again I was on with chat and was told steps that I needed to go through to figure out what was wrong. I followed those steps, contacted chat again and they sent a new air chamber. Within a month the bed was doing the same thing. This time I was told that they would send a new air chamber and a tech out. I was told that it would be two weeks before the tech could come out so I had to sleep on a bed that was not properly working. We decided to just do a return because we are within our 100-night trial. They were supposed to be here over the weekend but due to snow, they rescheduled for 17 days later. I now have to store this product in my tiny condo for an extra 17 days because I am being told that there is just nothing they can do.

Replaced the batteries after customer support said it was because of a firmware update for the remote, which it received the day we called. Ok, new batteries, some issues with the left side of the bed pushing my wife to the middle, and also rapid deflation during sleep.
More calls to service department and I was told my bed won't feel like the same model in the store because the one in the store is "broke in". No joy on why the bed deflates. Told to recalibrate. 3 or 4 days later, remote is dead again. Called support and got no help with the remote, "change the batteries, if it dies within 14 days we'll replace it". Still have problems with nighttime deflation (one side only), rolling my wife to the middle of the bed, and incorrect sleep number readings. My side was at 45 and it felt too hard, I hit down, the setting changed to 40, it started deflating and stopped, but still showed 45. Huh?
Called support again. They wanted to charge 200.00 to have someone come out. Called the store, they said they could waive the 200 dollar fee. Ok, scheduled the repair. Got a call from the service person. They will be out on the ** to "evaluate" the bed. WFT? Evaluate? How about FIX?!? If they don't bring the parts to fix it and force me to take another day off work for this I will be telling them to take the bed with them when they leave (I still have my Tempurpedic) and won't lose any sleep over sending it back. Didn't get the platform, so no restock on the pedestal. Will update my review if they make it right but for the moment I'm not optimistic.

My remote has indicated connectivity problem on weekends and at night. There have been 2 or 3 visits by "technicians" to resolve the problem. I finally found that one of the legs of the bed had not been adjusted properly and the techs adjusted that on the last visit. It was working fine until two or three nights ago when the remote indicated "connectivity" problems again. I tried for an hour to find out where the problem is and finally disconnected the plug and reconnected a couple of minutes later. Problem gone. However, tried to call the number on the remote for assistance - number is not active!! Recalled it never has been. You should correct this information. Otherwise, the bed and service have been excellent. Thank you.

I bought a second Sleep Number bed. I had my first one for about 10 years and then I gave it to my daughter. We went out and bought another one because I didn’t like not sleeping on it. It was super expensive but the reps were wonderful. The girl was extremely good and helpful. We went home and talked about which one we wanted before we came back the next day and purchased it. There was no pressure. I like both of the beds because I have neuropathy. I can raise my feet up if they’re bothering me and then it helps more.
We had a difficult time because we bought it when we were in South Carolina, and we live in Washington State. So they had to hold it for us for about a month until we got into our new house, and then they delivered it. Even the delivery drivers were good. Everything was really good. We have recommended several people to them and a couple of my girlfriends bought their own Sleep Number because of our recommendation.

They called before coming. They wore shoe covers. Very quick at replacing the bladders. The only thing was that they came later than we thought. Put the bed back the way they found it. Offered other suggestions to solve the issue.

We had a queen size Sleep Number bed that was 16 years old. We moved into a new home and we wanted to get a king size. The sales reps at Sleep Number were very great. The manager, Matt, was terrific. A sales guy named Tim was also very good. They helped explain everything to us ‘cause it’s been a long time. We were very pleased with our sales experience. We love the bed and don’t wanna get out. I am very pleased. Everything works great and it’s very comfortable. The only wish I have is that I can have the bed adjustment timed so when I go to bed it’s already in the reading position. Other than that the bed is fantastic.

As a whole I like my Sleep Number bed but I really doubt it will last 25 years. I bought my bed in 2007 and in one year the pillow top was lumpy. A salesperson suggested I get a memory foam topper but I fear it will make the Sleep Number adjustments less effective. The bed also seems to sag in the middle even though I sleep on one side. 4-5 years later the remote no longer showed the Sleep Number setting and I just pressed the up and down buttons until I was comfortable.
In 2016 I bought an adjustable bed frame and that remote no longer works. I called to finally get both remotes replaced and they are charging me $90 because they no longer have the remote that works with my pump and they have to send me a whole new pump. I used to justify the cost because it was supposed to last a long time but I am not sure it will last long enough. At least with the new pump they have combined the two remotes and I will at least have one less remote to deal with. I see the current beds are adjusted on your phone so at least they won't break.

I’ve been a long-term Sleep Number bed customer and I bought my bed back in 1998. It sounded like a good idea to me to be able to adjust both sides of the bed separately and be able to get a different firmness on one side of the bed. I also helped my mom and my boyfriend buy a bed and I just recently helped my friend’s mother buy a bed. She is 89 years old and she was having trouble with back issues. She was moving into an assisted living facility and they had to have a bed. I suggested that she might wanna look at Sleep Number because she could increase the bed firmness, or decrease it, depending on how she was feeling. She wanted a queen-sized bed, so we called the local Sleep Number place and asked them what the best way was to get a queen-sized mattress and what the options were. She wanted to stay within a specific price point, so she got the standard.
My experiences with the sales professionals at Sleep Number have always been really good. The only recent issue that I have had is I called the Novi, Michigan store a couple of times, but I got an answering machine instead of a person. They said if I left my number, somebody would call me back, but it was a little odd. After two or three times of doing that and not getting a callback, I contacted the Canton store and they answered right away. Otherwise, the people at the Novi store were really good and very receptive. There was a guy named David who works at that store who has been extremely helpful to me. And the guy at the Canton store too was Johnny-on-the-spot. He called me back about three or four times.
The mattress that got delivered for my friend’s mom got delivered to my front porch, but that was the UPS. I bought the adjustable bed frames separately for my current mattress and the delivery people delivered the bed frame and set it up for me. I would never buy another kind of bed. It is stupid to invest money in something and then have to buy a bed every four or five years. I had my first one in 1998 and I was gonna buy the whole new system when I went with the adjustable bed frame, but I thought that I would really be throwing away a bed that’s still very good. I was in the store trying to look at the new beds and somebody was trying to buy another one, and he offered to buy my 1998 bed from me while I was in the store. I said, “Nah, maybe not.” I’m a really strong proponent of Sleep Number beds. I tell everybody that I can’t imagine anybody buying anything different.

I would say be sure and ask plenty of questions, which we did, however get your answer they give you verified through the company itself. I was assured by my salesman that the 100% refund was exactly that...100%. But that isn't the case. We even asked about on the receipt about the home delivery charge that it is also refundable. It is not... Basically to get your bed set-up delivered is 200.00 and if you return it, it is ANOTHER 200.00. (As If I wanted to do it myself I would know how to install the bed, let alone take it apart correctly.). The 100% refund if not completely satisfied is a farce. Also product wise, all this bed is, is a air mattress that inflates and deflates underneath extremely overpriced padding.
If you do not purchase the 5000.00 bed (which is the only one in the store. They keep you on while trying to sell you the bed) the comfort level of the padding is negligent. Being married and trying to have "marital" fun on the bed is nearly impossible as the bed deflates when... say your partner might be sitting in your lap? Or if you are sitting at the head of the bed and your spouse sits on the base of the bed you bounce up. Maybe this is fun, in a bouncy house at the Circus, but not as a bed. Upon returning it, we were told that the delivery and setup and picking up of the bed was non refundable. Fine time to let us know. Be very wary of this company and its practices (and its bed). We have since gone with a Nectar bed... which we love and has a no questions asked FULL refund.

I just want to recognize Rebekah ** at the La Cantera, San Antonio location. My boyfriend and I went to MULTIPLE mattress locations with multiple companies and absolutely no one came up to us anywhere or even greeted us at others. We are a young couple so they probably didn’t take us seriously but we were ready to buy a mattress soon. Rebekah greeted us and treated us like a valued customer which was appreciated. She took time with us and made sure we understood what we were getting and we didn’t feel pressure to buy. Very happy with our experience and will definitely be recommending!

I think this is the worst company I have ever had to buy products from. I've never had a more horrible experience trying to get the most expensive furniture I've ever bought delivered to my home. What kind of company allows a $5,000 purchase to only be delivered and a time frame from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. no matter what day you pick!?! So what happens when it's only you and there's no one else to be there at 3 to 6 pm? Does the bed just simply not show up? Well according to my customer service representative, that's what happens. You can't make THEIR SCHEDULE you don't get YOUR BED. I've never had a company tell me that I--the customer-- am an absolute inconvenience to the delivery routing schedule. Not only are they refusing to give me a time that works FOR ME in the morning, they're telling me there's nothing they can do for me and we'll just have to start the return process. GLADLY!!! YOU'LL NEVER GET MY MONEY AGAIN.
And everyone will know the experience. The recorded phone call with your incredibly rude agent to the online chat with another rep because I didn't want to call and have the same treatment again. Worst consumer experience EVER! Worst salesmanship! I was actually lied to! I asked the sales representative in the store if the bed could be delivered early in the morning after finding out when you purchase a bed they force a $200 requirement for them to show up and give you your bed... But only at their convenience! The entire transcript of this conversation will be blasted on every online review outlet I can find. I have never been so insulted by a company. I'd give ZERO stars if I could. The most sleep I got on this bed was the 3 seconds when I closed my eyes at the store to see if it just felt comfortable... Sad isn't it?

We purchased our bed on December 30th. I was given a delivery date of January 7th (yesterday). Minutes before the delivery truck arrived I got a call from Sleep Number from ** at 12:31 PM CST telling me that the truck that was arriving had the wrong parts and the correct parts would be shipped to me by UPS overnight and arrive Wednesday, January 9th. I then told the gentleman I was speaking to that I could not take another day off work for the new delivery date. After putting me on hold for some time, he came back with an installation date of Saturday, January 11th. I also I asked if the driver/delivery people had been informed and I was told they had. When the truck arrived, the two delivery people told me that they had NOT been told and they were extremely frustrated with the situation as well. The driver had to call the company to find out what was going on.
Later yesterday I received an email telling me that my delivery date is now Tuesday, January 22nd. These calls are supposedly recorded, so there should be a record of everything that was said. This is unacceptable for several reasons. 1) I CANNOT take any more time off work. 2) Because I thought we would only have to wait a week, I let the delivery people go ahead and take our existing mattress. We figured we could survive on the guest bed for a few days ONLY!! Right now I have the base set up for the new bed and boxes of incorrect parts in my room. I went to the store where we bought the bed in the hopes that the sales people there might have more "pull" to help us.
After being on the phone, the salesperson at the store said there is nothing that can be done to change the set-up date. This makes NO SENSE!! There is no need for a delivery truck. All of the parts are at my house. All that is needed is a technician to come and set it up, do the demo and leave. It is UNACCEPTABLE after spending over $5000.00 on a bed, being told I would have it by the 7th, then the 11th and now the 22nd, that this cannot be rectified. My husband is so angry he wants to just return the bed outright!! This situation needs to be fixed!!

I find time to be my most precious commodity. So after spending the many hours working that it takes to earn the money to buy your beds (we have 3). I find it insulting that you would not send a technician out to look at our leaking bed. Instead we are asked to call your support line, self diagnose, order parts from you and then when I didn't get around to it on a timely basis (my husband inflates his side of the bed every night) We have a handyman call your helpline to make necessary corrections. Still not working. So frustrating as now warranty is pro-rated and I am paying for a service call. Certainly not representative of a semi- luxury brand. Sang your praises for years but this is not the resolution I am looking for.

I'm sorry to hear about the trouble you've had with your bed, Lisa. We strive to make our beds easier to service, should our owners have any trouble, which is why our 25 Year Limited Warranty provides coverage for replacements due to manufacturer defects but doesn't include a technician. We can often do troubleshooting right over the phone or online and get a solution on its way often in less time than it would take for a technician to come out and report back to us. We recently purchased the king size adjustable bed, our third Sleep Number bed in the last 20 years. The purchase and delivery process was without issue. The bed is very comfortable and we are pleased with it. Our only BIG issue is the fact that the bed comes with only one controller. That they would charge an additional 39 dollars for a second controller for a bed designed for two people that costs over 7000 dollars we find unconscionable.

At my age I just have trouble sleeping at night so I decided to go check out the Sleep Number Beds in York. After a little bit of research online about Sleep Number I went into the York store with hopes to find something to help myself and my husband have a better night's sleep. I was greeted with a welcoming group of reps and one came up right away to meet with us. She gave us a very knowledgeable overview of what the Sleep Number beds can do for us and took us over to the area where we could find our Sleep Number.
After finding a number that suited us we went on search through the store for what I thought would be the best for my sleep with wonderful suggestions from our rep. I was just so happy to not feel pressured in the Store. I dislike pushy salespeople and I didn't feel like that at all. And I had all my questions asked and then decided to go for the Sleep Number Bed switch. Thank you so much York for your help and I highly recommend anyone looking to change their night's sleep for a better one to check out a Sleep Number location.

I've had my Sleep Number bed for 4 years. Has worked okay but lots of leaks. When I try to replace a part a simple hose they told me that I had to buy an entire pump system and a hose for over $400! Company that can sell you a $10 hose should not be in business. Take your business elsewhere. There's too many choices nowadays when it comes to beds.

Purchased a bed new in box from original owner that never opened it for 8000.00, also purchased bedding from Sleep Number store for over 600.00 and I can’t use the sleep iq app because I wasn’t the original owner. We have purchased 2 new beds from the Sleep Number store in the past and still can’t get help from customer service. This will be our last Sleep Number product. It’s a shame that we can’t enjoy our bed to its fullest potential after spending thousands of dollars with this company. I will not recommend this company to anyone and advise people to shop elsewhere.

I’m getting old and achy when I wake up through the night. I got a queen Sleep Number p5 and I've had it for a few months now. The sales professionals at Sleep Number weren’t bad, but they got really crappy software. We went in and we picked out some stuff, then we ended up putting some of it back and they had a hard time getting it back out of the system. At a later date, we went in there because we had earned points. I referred my daughter to get a bed, so I earned money. We went in and we got more stuff, but it came to be more than what we wanted to spend, so we put something else back. We had credit. While they had an issue with straightening that out, we had to leave the store and come back another time. However, I’ll probably never buy anything from that store again because I don’t wanna go in there to buy sheets and spend two hours.
I wanna go in there and buy my sheets and be in and out in a half hour. I spent a lot of time there and the issue was still not resolved. We went grocery shopping and came back, then they had it resolved. Something ain’t right there, though. My wife and I both said we will never buy another thing from that store, or probably any store because we were agitated with the experience.
My experience with the delivery team was okay for the most part. I got a queen and the adjustable base which adjusts the head and the feet. One guy was complaining and said that it was their heaviest one and that it weighs 200 pounds. The delivery guys were good, but if they don’t like lifting that much weight, then they need to find a different job. But other than that, my experience was pretty good. I’m very satisfied with the bed and I like its overall quality.

Bought a Sleep Number a few months ago ONLY because the salesman assured me I had no risk. If it wasn’t worth the money, I could simply return it within the 100 night trial period. Well... it WASN’T worth the money and they conveniently failed to mention that the $3000 base for the bed is NOT returnable. Now I’m stuck with a useless $3000 chunk of metal. Wish I’d never crossed paths with this deceptive company! I’d highly recommend reading every last word of the fine print before purchasing anything or, better yet, do your homework and find a place that operates with integrity.

I weigh 275 lbs and the mattress developed an indentation or slump in the center of it. They advertise via customer service that the mattress is good for 285 lbs. This problem took a year to develop.

We have had our king bed since 2004 and there is a leak on one side but not extreme... My husband just had a transplant so before he gets home I am just replacing the pump and air chambers as I want the most comfort for him when he gets home. Hopefully the bed is a great buy. Prices are a bit high, but if it’s worth it then. It’s okay. It says 25 years warranty so that’s good. Hopefully nothing goes wrong, but if there were to be something wrong with it, hope they will honor it for 25 years and we don’t have to pay anything out of pocket.

My husband loves a firm mattress so we went with the former foam topper, however I can help but I see if you have a foam topper that has two different densities? The only other question I have is that in the store the pump was extremely quiet and you couldn’t hear it. We can hear ours. Is there a way to improve the soundproofing? Thanks.

We have had Sleep Number mattresses for over 10 years and still love them. We actually have had two separate mattresses. One was handed down to us from other family members who upgraded. We eventually upgraded that mattress and are very happy with the new one. What impressed us most about Sleep Number is the customer service and the company’s commitment to customer satisfaction. We had a minor issue with an expensive element of the mattress. We called customer service and they more than made it right for us with almost no questions asked. They obviously stand behind what they sell and are willing to make right anything that might go wrong.

We purchased the Sleep Number Split King i10 Smart Bed with the adjustable base. All of the hype with the Sleep Number bed is real and justified. We are sleeping much better. I sleep in the zero gravity position and my sleep number is 30. My husband prefers to sleep flat and his sleep number is 45. The split king allows us to sleep/relax in any position. We purchased a regular king bed frame which fit perfectly with the bed. When the bed is made up, it looks like a regular king bed. The only challenge is finding XL Twin sheets sold separately. I ordered some online to get us started.
I plan to buy a second set of sheets at the Sleep Number store, where they have a beautiful selection of bamboo sheets. I must also mention our salesman who was very thorough in answering all of our questions. I visited the store twice. He gave me his full attention both times. I brought my husband in on the second visit to go through the full presentation. Our salesman was very patient and a joy to work with. And, finally, the delivery team was very professional. They arrived on time, were polite, and very efficient in setting up our bed. I had the old bed out of the way and the new bed frame set up for them to begin set up without any delay. They knew what they were doing and were in and out in an hour or less. My experience with everyone at Sleep Number has been very positive.

This Sleep Number although pricey is the best investment l have made. The mattress not only elevates the head and feet but will adjust to how each individual sleeps. I tend to like a hard mattress, my husband tends to like the mattress soft. This is an important point.

The Sleep Number advertises that it is adjustable. We bought it on the assumption that we would start around the middle setting and work from there to where we were most comfortable. We quickly found that we were upping the setting to "firmer" until we both, individually, reached "10", the firmest, and found that neither of us found that to be firm enough for comfortable sleeping.

Store reps were great, bed was delivered as advertised, however, some of the items that were delivered were items that had been returned from a prior purchase/damaged and not brand new. I can understand items damaged during shipping but returns? I did not expect paying $8500 for returned items. Delivery technician were kind enough to call and re-order the items. Hopefully next delivery will be successful. I would of have given a five star rating if all items were delivered new.

We paid well over $6000 for the Queen bed we have (middle of the roadbed - I think it was a C6). It was OK the first six months we had it, but after that it really did not work as advertised. It has just gotten worst over time. We have now had the bed about 5 years and I am ready to set it out on the curb for the trash men. We have had some interface with the support team, and they seem to be nice and are helpful, but there is nothing they can do that would make up for the deficiencies of this product. This bed is basically just a glorified (raises, lowers, vibrates, lights up, etc) air mattress with all the problems that come with an air mattress. Air leaks out over time and you have to pump it back up. The issues have gotten so bad with this bed that my wife has pain whenever she sleeps on it for any length of time and is now choosing to sleep on the couch rather than sleep in it. This bed is definitively not worth the price.

I purchased a DualTemp mattress as a Christmas gift for my husband but was surprised to find that it was missing a connecting part making it useless. I called their customer service about three times asking that they help me with this issue but the last call was very unprofessional. I told the lady that I had called twice before and never received a call back as promised. Her response was that the person I spoke with was in training and therefore I should not blame her for not calling back!!!
The customer should never hear a response like that especially when it is told in a condescending tone!!! She made me feel like I was trying to tip them out of the money. I told her that I paid shipping for this item and should be refunded. Rather than apologizing for the whole situation she said they had shipped 2 comforters and therefore I should not be expecting any refunds for the shipping. I am customer ** and I have decided not to buy from this company again because of their customer service disrespect to me the customer.

I purchased a fully loaded i10 in September 2018 - total cost > $12,000. Travis (salesman) and Dean (manager) at the Flatiron store in NYC promised delivery in mid 2019, when I will be moving into a new apartment, and told me to take advantage of a medical discount that would be expiring. Now told delayed delivery not possible, I must take delivery immediately. I cannot have the bed delivered to a construction site (new place under renovation) and my current place will not accommodate the bed! Be careful of their salesmen (even managers), since all they care about is getting their sale completed, and will not make good on their promises (even seemingly simple ones, like delivery dates).

We previously owned a Sleep Number. We recently got the new mattress. We got the heating and cooling and the bed frame that lifts the head and the feet. The reps gave me delivery options that were perfectly acceptable. They delivered the bed, set it up, walked out, took the old one with them and we were happy. The new bed is the best that I've ever had. The last bed was an older model with a puff top and then it just seen its day. The new one is the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. I like the cooling. It's a horsy design and the design could be better. It has these horsy things that hang off the side of the bed. When people come in, they don't know what they are. But I find that my sleeping is much better. Both my wife and I love the bed.
I had an issue with it a week ago. It disconnected and I couldn't make the bed go up or down or deflate or inflate through the remote and on the phone. I went online and I was able to troubleshoot it. The FAQs are really good because they helped me troubleshoot what the issue was. I just followed that. I also had an issue before and I got customer service who knew exactly what was going on and fixed that immediately. I've already recommended Sleep Number to other people. They bought the beds and they love them.

This bed is less than one year old and never has been set up properly by three different service people. I have an engineering background and this model is very simple, not even high school physics level knowledge. Unfortunately, someone pulled the hose out of the air chamber in the mattress without unclipping it properly and now the hose does not stay in the single air chamber properly and constantly is losing air. I kept pumping it up many times a night so that the remote ran out its batteries in 2-3 weeks and now the pump may be failing!
Have been on the phone with customer service multiple times and they only know how to follow troubleshooting recipe cards! They have to mail you the parts and cannot send anyone out for 2 weeks. Meanwhile, I have a completely deflated bed and nothing else to sleep on. This will be the fourth person to try to come out and fix this thing. Just send me a new mattress and I will put it together! This is not rocket science!

From the moment we walked in the store to the day our bed got delivered, everything was so easy and had really great/friendly service. When we first got to a Sleep Number store, the sales associate that helped us, stayed with us the entire time, showing us every bed we were interested in and showing us everything it was capable of doing. He helped us narrow down the exact bed that would meet all of our needs. He was never pushy, just very helpful.
Even when we hadn't decided yet and just wanted time to think about it, he was so kind and put together a list of everything we were interested in, showing us the price and how much it would cost us monthly, so we had everything in front of us while deciding. He made the whole purchasing process very simple and quick. Our bed got delivered and they made sure everything was set up and working properly before they left, and moved our old bed downstairs to my son's room. very polite and helpful! I would never in a million years purchase from Sleep Number. The customer service, the managers - everything is terrible. Had my bed for 2 years and recently the frame shattered underneath of the mattress. At the time I was 2 months pregnant and couldn’t sleep in my bed so that’s 7 months without sleeping in my bed while I was pregnant. I had to sleep on my couch. So they just left and said I still cannot sleep in my bed still because it will shatter again because it’s not on a flat surface and we need to get plywood in order to sleep on it!
Now the case manager I just dealt with was absolutely horrible to me and didn’t care that I haven’t been sleeping in it at all. Basically told me that it wasn’t her problem. Either not using the mattress or not using our furniture was her resolution. I would never in a million years ever use this company again or recommend them to anyone. Still paying on this bed and currently can’t even use it. Worst purchase I have ever made and worst customer service.

The wrong color sheets were sent. I called and all I was told is I could order another $200 set since it was too late to exchange them in time for the bed delivery. I spent over $7,000 on a bed, and customer service wouldn't send our a new set. Plus the bed smells. I left my bedroom window open for the day (it is 28 degrees outside) to try and air it out. No luck so far. Even rewashed all the bedding. I couldn't even sleep in it the first night.

I bought Sleep Number mattress and the base in the store, and I was told, "No problem. You can try it for 100 days and return or exchange," but nobody is telling you that. You basically buy separate mattress and base which is crazy expressive, base $3200 mattress $2000 plus you have to pay for remote control $39. When I called after a week that I want to return whole bed I was told that base is not returnable nor exchangeable, so I'm stuck with ugly plastic base for $3200. Make sure you read the agreement you sign, they don't say a single word in the store about that. Very unhappy and disappointed. I wrote a review on Sleep Number website but they never post it, they show only positive reviews. Be aware.

I received absolutely the WORST possible service from your company. I previously bought a Sleep number bed and this is my second. I have had the technicians out FOUR times to get it repaired. The repairs don’t last. We asked for a refund - they denied us. We asked them just to come pick up the bed - they denied us again. We just wasted $9000 and now have to pay an independent mover to come take it out.

11/3. Ordered bed. 11/9. Make 4 hour trip to set bed up for elderly mom on 11/9 but Sleep Number did not send complete bed, wasted trip. Inform SN I need the rest of the bed parts. 11/16. No parts have come, call SN and they admit they "forgot" to reorder remaining parts. 11/20 Make second 4 hour trip to set up bed for elderly mom.
SN sent wrong parts, another wasted trip. 11/21. Nik at SN says he will order the right parts. 11/22. I get email that Nic has reordered the exact same WRONG parts! 11/23. Sabrina at SN says she will overnight correct parts that day to arrive 11/24. Supervisor Ashley says she will call back that day with refund offer for delays and mistakes. 11/24. No shipment from SN as promised. Ashley never called back, Letisha, Deannita and Tyree at SN say they dont know when the parts will arrive.
11/27. Correct parts finally arrive, make 3rd 4 hour trip to set up bed for mom. 12/17. Supervisor Ashley never called back with refund offer as promised. SN says they will send me sheets. I have sheets, I don't need sheets. These are just the highlights, the local store where I paid for the bed at Valley Mall in Hagerstown MD was worthless in helping out. In addition to wasted trips to find incomplete or incorrect shipments I spent at least 5 more hours, mostly on hold, with customer service trying to get them to send the right parts. Sleep Number customer service is worse than useless and Sleep Number does not give a damn.

After owning the bed for only two years, and sleeping in it only one year (used to travel extensively), both my controllers stopped working one night. Could not control bed position, temp, firmness, etc. Called Customer Service...no resolve. Went to the local store several times. Finally got them to visit the house to see what was I was talking about. Thought they fixed the issue...nope, back to old ways the next day. Went back to the store...was given another remote. I reprogrammed it, worked one night, and back to old non working ways that same night. Cannot get anyone on the phone to discuss it. I am way over the issues I have had with this bed. The bed is great, the Customer Service or Technical Service is awful. I would purchase a Tempur-Pedic next time.

Do you hate your spouse? Do you never want to interact with him/her at night again? Then buy this bed (Split Top iLE)!!! Seriously, the bed is comfortable. Sleep number is great when one of you likes soft beds and one likes firm bed, but the gap becomes completely absurd over time, hence the 1 star review. We shelled out $$$ for this bed as we thought it would be great for middle of the night feedings for our newborn baby. While that is very much the case, once you are past that phase, you are left with a bed that leaves a massive gap that seems to be growing over time.
After contacting customer service, apparently a 6 INCH gap is normal!!! Not sure how this is normal, but that is what Sleep Number will tell you. Now that our first child is a toddler, she can't come into bed, because she can literally fall thru the crevice and get stuck. Any sort of interaction with your spouse is done in essentially a twin sized bed as you have to choose sides. I feel that this gap issue should be addressed and definitely communicated before you buy. A 2" gap which is what it started at, is manageable, but a 6"+ gap and growing is completely ridiculous, even though for some reason Sleep Number thinks this is OK. After 2 years, Sleep Number doesn't really have an answer but did offer me to buy a new cover for $400 and a $200 install service charge. So yes, another $600 to not fix the issue. If I had to do it all over again, I would not buy a Sleep Number bed with an MSRP of $8,000. Buyer beware!

We’d seen the advertisements of Sleep Number for years, and the bed we had was pretty uncomfortable. So, we decided we had the money available, and once we started reading about it, how it’s basically a 25-year guarantee and everything was pretty good about the bed, when we add it up, it made sense. We purchased two kid’s beds. We also got a king-size bed, but we bought the two individual twin-size ones, so that we could upgrade later to the better base, so we could have the elevation and all that added to it.
The saleswoman was great. She walked us through everything, showed us the benefits, how to find our Sleep Number, and how to do all that. Everything was pretty smooth and relatively easy. She seemed very knowledgeable. She had good talking points. She just told us about the bed, the different models, the pros and cons, and what specials were available. She let us try them. She really allowed us to make our own decision. She wasn’t really pushy about selling us on a certain model.
I find the Sleep Number good. The only thing that we have commented on is having the two twin beds is slightly uncomfortable at times because they’d push apart and there’d be a little bit of a gap. I don’t even know if getting a box spring set would make a difference. I understand that I'd be able to elevate the head and elevate the legs, but I'd still always have those mattresses pushing apart. ‘Cause we'd have a kid come crawl in the bed, and the next thing we know, I wake up in the morning, and my kid’s stuck in the crack between the beds. If I scoot over near my wife, the beds are pushed apart under my weight. So, I don’t know if there’s something that helps with that, but that’s about the only real annoyance we found with it.
I really enjoy the sleep I get with the Sleep Number. I do believe that’s improved. We have the one where it actually tells us how we slept through the night just with little analysis, so that’s nice. I compare that with my Fitbit’s sleeping and the Fitbit’s a little more accurate obviously because I wear it, but it’s just interesting to compare with the two. And they’re usually pretty close.
Overall, the quality, I find well. I have to learn a couple of tricks though about how the inflation of the mattress works. One thing the saleswoman touched upon was we need to inflate it up to 100 every day. I think it does that because it helps calibrate the machine. She didn’t really explain that part of it, I just assumed that it gives it like the base to work off of through the night. The IQ Sleep, where when you’re sleeping you turn over, it’ll inflate, deflate, whatever it needs to do to maintain that number, took a little bit getting used to. My wife and I both have switched that on and off to see if we could find a difference with it.
But there are different things. My wife tends to not inflate it every day, while I do typically. And she often complains about it, and I’m like, “If you don’t inflate it to 100% percent, it doesn’t know how to deal with it." So, I end up secretly inflating hers when she’s not paying attention. But overall, we’re very happy with the purchase.

I sleep no better, and maybe a little worse, on Sleep Number than I did on my old Simmons Comforpedic. I am a stomach/side sleeper and therefore have the bed completely flat and pretty firm. This bed seems to be suited for back sleepers and those with lower back issues. For that reason, it helps my wife. I tend to think I paid several thousand dollars for an overpriced air mattress that is covered with foam. Had I researched these beds more, I believe I would not have bought Sleep Number.

I have some back issues and we've had a couple of different type of mattresses. My body would tell me when it was time for the mattress to go away. So I thought I could invest in a Sleep Number bed. It has a longer warranty. I also had a neighbor and some family members who all had Sleep Number beds and they spoke real highly of them. We purchased our first Sleep Number about eight years ago and we really liked it. Then we recently purchased one so that we could take the one in the house, put it in the motor home and upgrade the one that we’re gonna sleep in a lot more nights. I have another friend who bought a SleepIQ about ten months ago and she said it was so great to have the adjustable bed and I thought that at the age I'm at, it was a good idea.
We got to the Minnesota Fair because I had been diagnosed about six weeks earlier with osteoarthritis. We went and talked to a representative for a few minutes. He had us lay down on one and he listened to my concerns about some of the health issues I was having. He raised the feet a little bit and I could immediately tell the difference on how my body responded to that elevation. Everything from that point on was very positive. I did not feel rushed or pushed into buying it. He let me know what deals were going on and that I happened to come in under the free shipping which was expiring the next day.
My husband and I decided to enjoy the rest of our day at the fair and talked about it as we were walking around. Then before we left the fair that day, we went and purchased the ILE 360 Smart Bed. In terms of the delivery, everything went well also. They were polite and they took care of everything. When I got here, the bed was set up and they were just doing the updating with the computer system stuff. It is a good bed and I like it. I’m not disappointed in my choice. It’s an investment.

I had been researching Sleep Number for years and was really excited to purchase one. I have really bad back and sinus issues so I felt that the adjustable bed was the best fit for me and my husband. Since we got the bed home it has errored many times making me unable to adjust the bed and it has been losing air since the first week. I called customer service and they told me to troubleshoot it myself like I am a Sleep Number technician. So I finally figured it out and called back and they said now they will send out someone to fix it but they can’t cone for about three weeks! Really. I paid $7,000 for a bed and this is how It works. So in the meantime my back is hurting more and more and so is my husband's so we decide since we are in the 100 day trial I had it I am going to return it.
But wait. The adjustable base is nonrefundable and they state that they tell you this when you buy the bed and you sign the paperwork stating you agree to this but I have a copy of that paperwork in my folder they gave me that has all that info and does NOT have my signature. When I told the sales representative that he said, "Oh no. You sign the in store copy. Not the one we send home with you." Hmmm this seems shady since I signed something on an iPad and was told it was to confirm that I was purchasing the bed and getting the credit card not that I was agreeing to any terms. Still not able to get my money back and I am thinking the next step is getting a lawyer involved as I am that mad with Sleep Number. Don’t waste your money with this company as they don’t stand behind this product.

My experience so far with Select Comfort. My husband has been researching Select Comfort beds for a few months and we decided we were interested in a flextop iLE 360 smart bed but had some questions and wanted to test one out so we drove to the nearest Select Comfort store in Phoenix AZ approximately 145 miles on November 23, 2018. Our store experience was very good with helpful customer service. We decided on the iLE smart bed, completed all the paperwork and was given a home delivery date of Dec. 7th. My husband received a confirmation phone call on Dec. 6th and was told that delivery would be the next day between 4:00pm and 7:00pm. We cleared out our old bed and made easy access for the delivery person when they get here.
Seven pm comes and no delivery truck and no phone call :-(. So my husband pulled out our packet for the Select Comfort customer service phone number and when he calls he is told that the driver was going to out of driving time and turned around to go back to Phoenix. My husband had to initiate the phone call... Was someone going to call us at some point? I have no idea. After speaking with several people and several apologies the next two days we were told that they were working on a new delivery date. Again my husband had to initiate another phone call to find out what was going on? We were then told our bed was in Los Angeles. What! Apparently they don't have a warehouse or a storage place for orders in Phoenix so off the bed goes to another state. Wow! Several more days go by and finally receive a phone call on Wednesday Dec. 12 and was told our new delivery date was scheduled for Dec. 14th.
My husband receives a phone call on Dec. 13 confirming delivery on the 14th between 5:00pm and 8:00pm. Husband receives a phone call from a manager on Dec. 14 in the afternoon and is told our bed won't be delivered TODAY! WHAT!!! Apparently no one knows where our the bed is! Are you freaking kidding me!? Guess what our new delivery date is scheduled for Dec. 28th. Again WOW! Are you freaking kidding me!? My husband explains how frustrated and disappointed he is and is seriously considering canceling the order. Manager says, "We wouldn't blame you"??? This has been such a terrible experience so far and we don't even have a bed yet! We are are beyond frustrated and disappointed with Select Comfort, I am at a loss for words. Sorry I would love to leave a review on the actual bed but we don't have one!

A friend of mine had Select Comfort so we tried it, and it was great. Originally, we had one of the basic ones. But now, we have the 360. We also got some pillows. The sales people were very helpful. They did what fit us, and asked us a lot of questions, so they could better meet our needs. They did a good job and we were very pleased.
The delivery process was a piece of cake. They came right on time and set the bed up. They were in and out in less than an hour. They did a good job, and they cleaned up. I love the idea that I can see how I slept. It’s a raw score and it gives you a good idea of what you can do to help. And there’s a lot within the apps and things that you can get that give you ideas on how to get better night’s sleep. So it’s pretty cool. If you’re tired of flipping mattresses and you’re tired of getting a new one every eight years, then go ahead and get a Sleep Number because it’s gonna last you a whole lot longer. You are also getting a better night’s sleep and there's a consistency in the mattress. You can make the mattress fit you, which is really nice.

We’ve had a Sleep Number bed for many years and we were upgrading to a king size so we bought another one. The salesperson explained everything very well. He talked about the adjustable bases and the different sales and promotions that were going on. It was a very pleasant experience. There was a sale going on and because they had so many orders, the delivery was delayed a couple of weeks. We were also moving at the time. We were buying it from one place and then having it delivered. But the guys who delivered it did a great job. They explained everything and everything went smoothly.
On the other hand, they should make customers more aware that when they're buying a king-size bed, they can get different beds for for the two people sleeping in the bed. The salesman mentioned it but at the time, we didn’t think to do something like that. My wife and I like different things in the bed but we thought it was no big deal. After sleeping on it a while though, she wished it was a little harder. Aside from that, the Sleep Number bed also takes a little getting used to. On the first night, you might not get your exact Sleep Number. So I would tell others to give it a week to find out where their sweet spot is. As for me, I’m really satisfied with the bed.

We have had Sleep Number products since 1997 and we recently replaced the old bed we had. We purchased two beds at the fair and the first one was the CO2 which went out of stock. It was sent through the mail and I did the set up. The second one I purchased was a CO3 and their people came to set it up. They did very well. The beds are fine and they are of good quality.

My previous 11-year old Sleep Number bed needed replacement and I bought Sleep Number's iLE model. I also purchased a couple of pillows and a mattress cover. The sales rep I worked with was a very nice young man who was very friendly and seemed very knowledgeable. Also, the shop I bought the products from had a lower tax rate. The delivery team showed up on the day they were supposed to and had the bed installed very quickly. So far, the bed has been great. I'm enjoying it very much.

I purchased an i8 split California King about a year and a half ago. The bed itself is very comfortable with a lot of adjustment, unfortunately it doesn't seem that the bed is very robust. My wife's side of the bed seems to be having quite a few issues already, she sleeps in the bed on a nightly basis where I travel for work (250+ days per year) so my side of the bed is in much better shape. I purchased this bed as my wife likes a much softer bed than I do for the most part, however when the Sleep Number is set to a value lower than 40 it feels as though you are sinking into the bed... After talking with customer service it sounds as though this is a known issue; they are sending me a spacer for the chamber area of the bed free of charge. Hopefully this new chamber spacer will help with the comfort level at lover values!
The bed is starting to lose its comfort from the upper padding and the foam edges are starting to squish, however this is not a huge deal as Sleep Number is willing to cover the replacement parts under the warranty. The biggest problem I have with the bed is that it is sagging a lot on my wife's side and starting to hang off the side of the bed frame. I believe this is related to the problem with the two beds constantly separating at the head. Sleep Number stated it is normal for the head of the bed to separate up to 6"! 6" wow that's crazy, mine is separated 3" after every night and I thought that was bad. I can't imagine rolling into a 6" crack at night.
It sounds as though they are very much aware of the heads of the mattresses separating on the "Older style beds" as they referred to my one year old mattress. They have apparently fixed this issue on the new models, but I guess that is to be seen once some people have had their mattress for a couple years. On a side note the bed and frame are extremely overpriced! It is really nothing more than a blow up mattress with a digital controller, foam surrounding, and a foam topper for added comfort. If you really want the same comfort can be achieved from putting a similar foam topper on an airbed mattress. The frame itself is very nice and quiet as well, however it can be purchased directly from the frame manufacturer Leggett and Platt for much less than what Sleep Number is charging.
Unfortunately Sleep Number is not willing to back their product and support us in any way concerning the mattresses separating. My wife and I have decide to get rid of the bed and purchase from another manufacturer. Unfortunately this is a lot of money wasted as we spent over $8000 on this bed and frame. We are probably going to try and keep the bed frame and purchase a mattress that doesn't separate so we never have this problem again. One thing is for sure I will never purchase another Sleep Number! I hope this review will be helpful to someone.

My husband and I have lots of aches and pains. We bought a mattress and mattress pad from Sleep Number. Mitch at Holyoke Mall helped us and he was fabulous. He was very knowledgeable about everything. We actually went back twice to have appointments with him so he could go over stuff with us. We like him a lot. We had the products delivered by a team and my husband was very impressed with them. We were also impressed with the quality of the products. It's nice to be able to adjust the bed and the firmness and the softness of it. We recommend Sleep Number to people. We have $200 rewards sitting at the Holyoke Mall waiting for us because we referred two friends.

The ability for this product to stay in sync with the 'remotes' is the quintessential linchpin in my review. The remotes for the bed, and only way to control them, have not functioned correctly for 6 months. They refuse to replace them and every representative I speak with gives me different answers. This bed is 'OK' to start, but with this issue I cannot recommend to anyone. Also, to 'reset' the remotes requires 30 minutes and a complete reset of all settings in the bed... Better write them down.

The delivery of my Sleep Number bed was on time as scheduled and the technicians that delivered and set up the bed were courteous, helpful and knowledgeable of the product and its operation. As for the bed itself, I have been able to secure more than 4 hours of sleep since I purchased the C5. Although, I still have bouts of restlessness, I'm able to put together at least 6 or more hours of sleep 4 or more nights each week, something I was unable to do in a conventional bed. The ability to raise my head and feet allows me to relieve pressure off my lower back so I can reduce the pain I have been living with the past 20 years. What a relief! The ability to adjust the softness of the bed is a bonus. Thank the Most High for the ability to afford what I need!!!

Received the wireless remote to add/release air from the split king mattress we purchased (our 2nd bed from this company). After using the remote only a handful of times, it stopped working. I called more than 3 weeks ago to report this problem and they agreed to send me a replacement, AT NO COST, as they told me it was under warranty. After not receiving the replacement, I call back and to inquire why I have not received the replacement, and this time they tell me there is a $90 charge-a shared warranty they tell me.
They did not believe me that I was told a free replacement remote would be shipped and said they will listen to my initial phone recording. Only if the conversation proves the employee agreed to ship the remote at no charge, will they agree to do so. What an insult! And this is my 2nd bed purchased with them. If I was lying, wouldn't they have collected payment on the first call when I ordered the replacement? I brought this to their attention, but they said they would get back to me w/in 24 hours after hearing the initial phone conversation. WOW... Not good.

My 92 year old father was waking up with back pain every day so we decided to purchase a Sleep Number TZP5 bed for him. One of the main reasons we purchased this bed was because #1, the Sleep Number name and options for setting the bed to your desired firmness and #2, if he wasn't happy with it we could return it. Little did I know that after two weeks of trying firmness options and not sleeping well and after over a $2,100 investment I would be out $538 in return fees.
We were never told this -- we were told no worries, that if you weren't happy you could easily return the bed. The only cost we were told about was a $127 mattress cover that needed to be purchased to put on the mattress that would be non-refundable if you decided to return it. Totally ridiculous that we would be charged a $200 delivery fee and a $200 return pick up fee! Needless to say I am giving them a FAT ZERO as far as this goes. SHAME ON YOU for taking advantage of people by advertising these wonderful things and not sharing the "between the lines hidden costs" to your consumers. I will never recommend your company!

Everyone I dealt with, from the sales people at the Sleep Number Store in Arundel Mills Mall to the two gentlemen who delivered my new bed, were professional, efficient, and pleasant. My bed was delivered on the scheduled day, even earlier than the originally predicted time window. The delivery personnel called as soon as they knew when they could arrive, making sure that the early delivery was acceptable to me. They arrived at the time they indicated and had my bed unpacked and installed quickly. They then connected the system to my WiFi network and demonstrated the basic operation of the remote, and removed all of the packing materials. Would that all of my commercial dealings went so smoothly!

We have had a sleep number bed for 20 years plus. We upgraded to SleepIQ with king flexfit 2 bases. It’s the best bedding investment we have ever made. Our original Sleep number will be moved to another bedroom and continue to serve. This SleepIQ is unbelievable. It’s one of those things you have to see to believe. It’s today’s technology built into your bed. I know you are going to say that’s a lot of money but you buy a great bed one time and you have it for years to come. The buying experience from store to delivery was professional and outstanding. You will not regret making this investment for your quality of sleep for yourself. Sleep Number is the best for individual sleep comfort “hands down”.

If I could rate them a zero I would. This bed is a glorified air mattress, you pay thousands of dollars to sleep on a bed that they literally come out and blow up in front of you, then put a memory foam mattress topper on. Then if you try to return it, they tell you they can't take the return for 30 days, so they want you to keep the crappy mattress for 30 days prior to return. And to add insult to injury, they charge you $200 to return a BLOW UP MATTRESS!! Their defense is "It is in the return policy" but when I offered to deflate the air mattress myself and drive it to a store to return it, they said they have to be picked up by a sleep mattress delivery person. Why on earth do you need to have a person come out with a truck to pick up a "mattress" that you can deflate and fit in a box?
I will encourage every single person I can to never buy one of these mattress. This is the worst customer service I have ever received, ESPECIALLY from a "high end" brand. I would expect this from a low end company that sells cheap products, but to be treated this way at a store that charges thousands of dollars for an air mattress, is unbelievable. The person who created this company is an unethical genius, making tons of money off of convincing people to pay thousands of dollars for an air mattress.

We’ve had Sleep Number beds for 20 years. We decided it was time to upgrade and we put our other Sleep Number in our guest room and our guests get to enjoy it. Our new Sleep Number is an iSeries. We got the FlexFit, so it raises and lowers the head, and it has the built-in warming for the feet. It also has the SleepIQ, and we check it out every morning.
The sales rep at Sleep Number, Tom, was great. The girl that was there with him and the one that I talked to most often were wonderful. During the sales process and afterwards when we had questions, they were right there to answer every time. We had our bed delivered and set up. The delivery team got here late in the afternoon and they had another delivery they had to make when they got through with mine. So, they were rushed, but they did a wonderful job getting our bed set up and get everything going. I’d like to spend a little more time talking to them and going over the features, but they didn’t have the time and I was able to figure it out. So we’re good. Overall, Sleep Number is wonderful. It could have been several $1,000 cheaper, but the whole process couldn’t have been any better. Our new bed makes a wonderful nest on the weekend. So, we can just kick back, relax, drink our coffee, look out the window, and enjoy ourselves.

We ordered our bed and it came on the date and time provided. Everyone we dealt with was very professional and no pressure. I recently had brain surgery and was having to sleep in a recliner. Last night was our first night and I slept better than before with the head of the bed inclined.

We've had a Sleep Number bed since 1995 and it was about time to upgrade to the new features. Our most recent purchase was a p5 with the FlexFit 1 for which we had to get two new sets of sheets since we can't use the regular sheet as the bed gets its head to go up. We had a good time with the reps at Sleep Number and we had to experience the new bed there. These people also worked out a very good finance plan for me - it's 24 months no interest. Thereafter, the delivery went perfectly. Their team disassembled the old bed and installed our new one. They were excellent and very friendly. Now, with our new Sleep Number, it's just like the ad - the wife likes to snore, and I push her head up. Our bed is super.

We’ve had a Sleep Number bed for 14 years and we didn’t feel like the bed was performing the way it had in the past. Plus, I had some back pain, and when we went into the store to look at the new 360, my wife and I liked the ability to raise the back and the feet. It seemed to relieve the pressure on my back. The interaction with the sales rep was excellent and when we had it delivered, the technicians were very polite, knowledgeable and efficient in putting the bed together.
The quality of the bed is excellent and it will stand for 15 years. However, we want to raise the bed and put carpet sliders under the feet. We got an Ethan Allen wraparound bed frame and that, plus the level that we have the bed, is low. So, we can’t physically get under there and it’s too much for us. So, we’re gonna try and see if we can get the technicians out here to help us with that. Nevertheless, we have been sleeping better since we got it and when I told the story about this bed, two of our friends went out and bought a similar one.

I’ve had a Sleep Number for 13 years and it’s the best bed I’ve ever owned. I went to the Easton store to purchase another bed about 2 months ago and ordered everything...I mean everything! My girlfriend and I were looking forward to getting this bed after 8 weeks of waiting for the furniture to be made. The delivery people show up and while unboxing the fabric headboard they cut the fabric headboard! Tell me it was already damaged even though I saw them damage it. They still wanted to set up the bed...unbelievable. So now after taking off for a botched delivery I have another 6 weeks to wait and another day off from work to see If Sleep Number will send professionals. I’ve spent way too much money for this type of service!

I had a Sleep Number before and it was very, very comfortable. I purchased another and the sales rep was very helpful and friendly. He helped me to pick out the best bed for me and what would suit my price. He went over and beyond. Then, we scheduled the delivery. The guys who came were wonderful. They were really friendly, kind, polite, and very neat. While they were getting their stuff together, I unpacked the box for them to help them go a little faster. They had the bed up in no time and showed me how to do everything. I also had the old mattress in the garage ready for them to take out. So, they were done in no time.
My bed is very, very comfortable. It's doing everything right for me. Then, when I had foot surgery back in October, I got the platform, too, so I could raise the head and the feet. I also watch TV and sometimes I like it up. I like how the timer's on there, as well, which you can put on and then if you fall asleep, it puts it flat for you. Additionally, my parents are getting older, so if they need to be in the bed later to sleep they can use it. I also told my brother who lives in Colorado about Sleep Number and he got one. Now, I’ve been gone from home and I’m sleeping on an air mattress. I can’t wait to get back to my Sleep Number bed.

Our kids needed a new bed so we decided to get a twin size Sleep Number basic bed for them. The sales reps were very professional and they seemed to know what they were talking about. We had it delivered and it was good. They took out the old mattress, set up the bed and then showed us how to get it connected with the app. I wouldn’t hesitate to tell my friends to get Sleep Number.

I bought a Sleep Number 20 years ago, and we just wore that one out. So we went and got a new one. There was no pressure during the sales. A real nice gal answered all our questions and made it very, very simple. It was a good experience all the way around. We did home delivery and they set it up. They only screwed up a little bit because the remote that they were supposed to have shipped to me ahead of time hadn't arrived. That was their shipping department's fault. Consequently, my wife had to drive over and came to get a loaner from them, and their installers had to wait until she got back with it to finish the job. So it had cost Sleep Number extra for their guys.
Nevertheless, I went from a waterbed to a regular mattress to Sleep Number, and Sleep Number is the best way to go. So if you don't have one, you should get one. The technology that they got in this new one is a thousand times better than the old one. The back of our new bed tilts up and the feet comes up. They got the heated pad in there so it's really nice. The hard part is wanting to get out of bed in the morning because it feels so good. I've been telling my older brother about it for years and he got out of his waterbed and bought one. I highly recommend Sleep Number to anybody that's considering buying a conventional bed.

My husband and I tried out Sleep Number one day and we've had one ever since. Our first Sleep Number was 16 years old and I decided it wasn't comfortable anymore. So, I got a new one. The sales lady was very nice and informative. Then, when they brought out the mattress, the men that put it up and set the settings were very, very nice. Especially the guy that did the settings, he knew about everything.
It was a little more complicated application than the one I had before and they were very informative and very good. I was very pleased. They were fast setting it up and they knew exactly what they were doing. It didn't take them very long since I already had the platform that I had to reuse. They just had to set the new mattress up and it was very interesting how they put the new mattress together. Our new Sleep Number has more padding and has the mattress that keeps you cool or comfortable. And so far, we’ve been happy with it. It’s just not one level of comfort on one mattress which is what I like. You have your own number, so that if your husband likes hard and you like soft, you have a choice. I would tell others to go by the shop and at least try one out and find out about it.

We have been shopping for a new bed. My husband and I kept colliding in our old one and even though it was a very comfortable bed when we were both in it it was hard on my back. Horrible customer service experience from the time I decided I was going to return the bed. Would not recommend based on the return policy alone. I could understand a $100 restocking fee. It’s the $200 for installation and $200 for removal that really frustrates me.

I was a little worried about them fitting the bed to my headboard and footboard but they knew what they were doing and they explained everything along the way and spend time with me because I have had a stroke and the bed is kind of complicated to work the controls but they were very patient with me. They knew what they were doing and they were polite and knowledgeable. They left their house clean as it was and they came in and didn’t leave any garbage. A good experience all the way around!

Our first Sleep Number bed is 11 years old. One night on our new bed was great and much improved. Expensive but a great experience with everything sleep number. We bought 2 sheet sets and will buy 2 more. Quality made for sleep number beds. Love all the bells and whistles but after one night our smart phone app didn't report our sleep accurately. I received a direct number to call for help but will wait a while. The phone app worked great for bed functions.

My bed was delivered in a week. The delivery men was very professional. Very happy with everything. I was treated with respect and professionalism. The drivers called me a couple times the day of delivery to make sure they worked with my schedule. The day after my bed was installed the salesman gave me a call to make sure everything was ok and everything went ok. The bed is comfortable. No issues so far.

We bought a sleep number C4 and I had my doubts about how long I would sleep before I get uncomfortable. I'm still waiting! I have been so comfortable every night since we got it. I would wake up every morning stiff as a board and sore all over around joints, neck and low back. Now my stiffness has lessen 10 fold and absolutely no pain and I am only taking 1 ** Xtra strength instead of 600 to 800 mg of ** and muscle relaxer and a pain pill nightly. A huge improvement for me. I feel so much more flexible too and some days I don't want to get out of bed because it doesn't hurt to sleep in. I wouldn't buy another bed if you paid me to. I'm so impressed with this bed.

Sleep Number beds are quite expensive, I spent $8,000 on everything. Supposedly they have a 100 day trial period and a 30 day return period from date of purchase. I purchased the bed 9/03/2018 and did not get it until Nov 16. There goes the return period. After several weeks we decided it was not worth the money we slept the same on our original mattress. I was offered 3,000 as a return losing 5,000. The base which is plastic and metal and 2,000 is not returnable? Buyer beware. You better like it - there is no return policy.

We bought our Sleep Number bed in October of 2015 paying exactly $3,612.05. That cost included the bed, mattress temperature control pad, the legs to the bed, the foundation and delivery, a very expensive purchase for a bed. The comfort was ok as long as you and your bed partner are fairly close in comfort numbers. Otherwise one of you are going to end up rolling into Death Valley as we jokingly called it, not very comfortable.
We decided to get a new bed and keep the Sleep Number for a guest bed. When taking it downstairs and taking off the mattress cover I rolled up the mattress turning it over to the other side only to discover a huge patch of black mold about 3’x2’ wide! Gross!! I immediately panicked and started to clean it with some bleach cleaner, not wanting mold in my house due to health risks and my son's allergy to mold. I’m really hoping that something can be done to make this right. As it stands right now I would never recommend buying this bed.

Hi Melanie, we think it is really important to know that while situations like this are rare, common household mold can occur in any mattress or piece of upholstered furniture under certain conditions. Mold spores are present in ALL outdoor and indoor environments.
Our testing revealed common household mold levels were in each case lower than mold levels typically found in normal outdoor air and were generally lower than or comparable to mold levels found within buildings with good air filtration systems. We have been advised by independent experts that for consumers with mold allergies to be affected, the mold spores must be airborne or otherwise come in direct contact with the consumer, and this does not appear to be caused by our product.

We were replacing the Sleep Number bed that we've had for 20 years and this time, we bought the 360. It seems to be better than the last one. When you move, it moves with you. The sales reps were good and it was great interacting with them. When it was delivered, the reps made sure the old one was packaged correctly so it was easy for us to transport it since my daughter is getting it. Then, they put the new one in and set it up for us. Our set is a very good system, we love the quality of the bed and we’re very happy with it.

This is just a scam. I paid $1200 for a glorified air mattress. It provides no support. I wake up in pain every day. It costs an extra $250 to deliver. If you return it within 100 days you get your money back (minus another $250 fee). That's $500 just to wake up in pain. That's a legal scam.

Well I was on 2 regular GREAT mattresses at my family's house since Wed evening and now back to this HORRIBLE EXPENSIVE #SleepNumber bed last night and NOW my SEVERE BACK PAIN and neck pain has returned, uugg. NO. I purchased 2 of their pillows (1 body), 2 sets of cooling sheets, a cooling mattress pad/cover and a cooling pillow cover which DON'T WORK. The rep. never called me back like they said she would when I scheduled a time to talk and then major family health matters took my focus away from calling them back constantly to care for them and have to ALWAYS be on the phone or at Dr's appointments.
I want my MONEY BACK. I will be reporting this company to the #BetterBusinessBureau, #ConsumerAffairs and whoever else I can. I want to find and join a class action suit against them because these mattresses are glorified/fancy/expensive/astronomical air mattresses. They are the worst items I have ever been on and this return policy is a complete joke. They are not easy to take apart and move as they say especially with the adjustable base. I did A LOT of research too and never saw so many negative reviews until after I got it, sadly. It's made people's backs, hips, necks and etc. problems worse which I was sad to see.
I learned a coworker has had one for 5 years and after the fact of course. It has created back and hip pain for her and issues for her husband. She has to sleep in a separate twin bed from her husband since her son is in college. She has an illness and doesn't need back/hip pain on top of it, but the damage is done now. The company gets you with the try it for 30 days to give your body time to adjust and probably will take longer. They told her the same thing. The time then may get away from you. They have a 100 day return policy ONLY per the last rep. I spoke with and she said you cannot return the adjustable base AT ALL. PLEASE DON'T EVER BUY A #SLEEPNUMBER BED, TRUST ME!!!

On Black Friday, I bought two expensive beds. The total was close to $6000. Select Comfort charges $199 to set up. I looked online and noticed they had exact same pricing for Cyber Monday except for the set up fee was included. Neither one of the beds are scheduled to be set up for over two weeks. Yet, sales refused to match the price "because they do not match or adjust freight discounts". WTF? Now, I am going to cancel my order. In my world, this is a scam from a company that touts great customer service.

I’ve had a Sleep Number bed for 12 years and it sounded like a vacuum cleaner every time I pumped it up and down. The new one is a lot quieter. It is WiFi’d and it has been pretty good. When you get into it and sometimes you turn over, it’ll adjust it a little bit. I never had that before. Also, I like their smooth cotton sheets. They are wonderful. The sales reps were fantastic and the delivery went well. It was good and informative.

I wasn’t sleeping well and I was hoping that I would get a good night's sleep with the Sleep Number bed. The sales gal at the store explained everything, gave us different options, and answered our questions. The bed was delivered the two guys who came worked well together. They had a little system going. They took our old bed and dumped it. They put the new one in and told us what we needed to do. They showed us some buttons on the remote and called it a day.
Two of my friends bought a Sleep Number after I bought mine. I just tell others how it’s a great night's sleep with the Sleep Number. You can read the app when you wake up and see how you slept. Sometimes, though, we don’t think it’s very accurate where we feel we slept really well and we may be getting a 67 score. There are times too where we felt like we slept really well and other times when we didn’t sleep well and we got an 83.
In the beginning, I was sleeping better. But I'm a little upset right now because it's been seven weeks and I’m not sleeping very well. I purchased a Sleep Number with adjustable base. We were told there was a 100 day trial period for return, no questions asked on the entire purchase. Upon cashing out, I noticed language in the paperwork stating the base isn’t returnable. When I asked the salesman about this he told me that the can always return the base, not to worry about that. Well the bed is horrible and we would like to return. I was told we would only receive $2900 of our $7100 purchase because the base isn’t returnable, no exceptions. My husband and I are livid because we were totally lied to and I honestly should have known better. Do not buy this product, their money back guarantee is not truly a 100% refund and the product is not worth the price!

My experience was a good one until I went back to the store a week after buying a pillow. A buy one get one 50% off promotion on pillows was made available less than a week after buying a pillow at my local Sleep Number store. I went to the store to ask them to honor the deal for me as I just purchased a pillow and wanted to get an additional pillow at the sale price. Neither the manager at the store, or customer service (which I spent no less than 20 minutes waiting for help) were willing to help me take advantage of the deal.
In this day and age, we are accommodated by stores when a sale is offered after a purchase and my experience has been stores willing to go out of their way to accommodate and help new and existing customers get their best deal if an items was purchased within a short period of time before a sale. Unfortunately, as found out after making the drive back to the Sleep Number store, this is not a consideration by Sleep Numbers. They do offer an exchange within 30 days, but will not offer a way to help a customer take advantage of their store sales, even if the purchase was recent and within 7 days. Know the return policy at Sleep Number or you also may walk away buying a relatively expensive item feeling unvalued as a customer.

Love it. I bought many but this is one of the best I ever had. I would rate this again if I could. This is a try for 30 days pillow and I got the change to try it now. I love the softness of it and how my head lays softly on top of it.

I went in to Sleep Number store in Aurora CO looking to purchase a new bed on 11/9/18, since my wife and I have been having back issues with our 10 y/o Stearns and Foster. The salesperson (Paul) was very helpful and not pushy on sales. We started by finding our “Sleep Number “on the c2 bed but eventually moved on to the I8. We absolutely loved this bed. After some talking amongst ourselves we decided to purchase and was given a delivery date that was on 11/17/18. We were very excited to get our bed and couldn’t wait. We also bought a mattress cover and pillows. On delivery date we were called first thing in the morning from our delivery team to let us know that they were ahead of schedule and could we take delivery 3 hours earlier, needless to say, we were elated!
Later that day we received a second call from our delivery guys to say that they were finishing up and they would be here in an hour or so. An hour later we received a third call stating they would be here in 20 minutes. Now fast forward to 3 hours later we received a call from customer service saying that the truck had been in an accident. After assuring me that the delivery guys were fine they said that the bed could not be delivered that day and that since it was Saturday they would have to reschedule on Monday. Though we were sad that we weren’t getting our bed and had already broken down our old one and gotten rid of some components we were hopeful that we would be a priority to get us sleeping on our new bed pretty quickly.
About an hour later we received an email that stated that we were set up for delivery on the 27th of November. I was not pleased so I called customer service and was told that it was just worse case scenario but that they would work diligently to get us taking care of sooner and that I would receive a phone call first thing Monday morning 11/19/18. Fast forward to Monday, I waited all morning for a call that never came. Finally at 12:30pm I called customer service and was told my bed was being delivered between 3 and 6 pm that day. I was a little upset only because I needed to know that earlier as to be available but I was able to manage to get home in time to be there for delivery. So I waited until 6:38pm when I received a call from customer service that stated the delivery guys were a little behind schedule but would be delivering that night.
An hour later I received a call from a different person (Jamar) in a different department that stated that the bed could not be delivered and that they would call the next day for a new delivery schedule. At this time I’m furious I decided to reach out to corporate. They assured me that they would look into it and get back to me. The next day (11/20/18) I received a call from Jamar and he said that all the components are not in so it can’t be delivered until 11/28/2018. I explained that we’re currently sleeping on an air mattress and can’t wait another week for a bed that was promised on the 17th. He said that he was taking $200 off an $9000 bed for the inconvenience. I told him, "No thanks" and asked to return the purchase. He cancelled the transaction and told me to return the pillows and bed cover to the store.
I then proceeded to call corporate back and they were not happy about the process and promises that continued to fall through. They told me that I can’t return items to the store and they don’t know why Jamar told me that. They agreed to accept the return and they’re sending me out a return box for items I already have. They also sent me over to the CEO’s voicemail so that I could voice my concerns. I left a message and am waiting for a return call. I have mixed emotions about this whole process.
We loved the bed that we tested out and we were very anxious to trial our new bed but the whole delivery process started to sound like a scam. I feel like if the delivery process is this bad what would it be like if I had issues with the bed. What would that be like. I would like to feel valued especially when spending this type of money on a bed but Sleep Number left me feeling anything but valued. I’m hoping to have a better overall experience with another company. I hope this is helpful to someone thinking of purchasing a Sleep Number bed.

I've tried to buy a bed for my sister who has just gone into an assisted living facility. I got the Sleep Number twin sized bed because that was all that could fit in her little apartment. The interaction with the salesman was good. I did it over the phone because I knew the salesman. The people there were very nice. I wanted to have a receipt in my name as the purchaser and have the bed shipped to my sister's address. I didn't want her on the billing address because I wanted the paperwork to show that I paid for it but I need to know that it goes to my sister because I need to take the money out of a trust. And in order to do this legally, have the paperwork to verify my actions at least, is to have a receipt that shows it went to her and that I paid for it. But that seems to be impossible with their system.
I have tried three times. The salesman set it up. To begin with, he opened an account for my sister because it said, the billing address was my sister's. But he had the delivery address wrong. So I called to change them. They said they could straighten that out. My credit card transaction was canceled and they gave me a refund on that and redid the credit card processing. So far, the latest paperwork has got me as the billing but it's got my name as the delivery too. I wanted it delivered to my sister's and not at my apartment since I'm not in the same county. They opened a new account and put my name as the billing address and the shipping address. It isn't even on my old account since I'm an old customer and I bought several beds for different people in over 30 years. In fact, I just have gotten my new bed last February.

This bed is the most uncomfortable POS I have ever slept on. My old wore out bed and couch is more comfortable than this hunk of junk that like to inflate and deflate as you sleep and the compressor wakes you up at night when it comes on. Asked about returning it and it would cost me about a grand from what I paid for this piece of ** with the delivery charges and pick up fee and damn bed protector that I had to buy with it so I had a warranty, I should have went with my gut when I drove 200 miles to purchase the bed and found out I can't just buy the bed at the store so you can get the delivery charges on top of the overpriced bed.

We purchased our first Sleep Number in 2003 I think, we really liked it but in 2015 it lost that comfy feeling. I called Sleep Number. The rep was quick to help and because we still had warranty it was covered and I paid nothing :) when I sat on the 360 I wanted one. I called the service member helped me choose. I would definitely recommend Sleep Number.

We purchased what would have been our 2nd Sleep Number. We had the original bed for 10 years and loved it. We needed to replace it with what we thought was a comparable bed. It was not. We could not get comfortable on this bed. We decided to return it after 30 days of no sleep, but well within the 100 day return policy. After speaking with customer service and making arrangements to return the bed, we were advised that our return would cost us a little over $600.00. This is simply taking advantage of customers and not a company that we will do business again with. Stay away from this product.

I will buy no other bed. They keep getting better. Customer Service Support line is and always helpful. I am very Happy with my Salesman Michael ** at the NORMAN, OK Store. No high pressure at all. Of course the product and support have already sold me.
