We have multiple Sleep Number beds and have been using them for 20 years now. Their beds are comfortable and we like that we can adjust it. We purchased the beds from the store and our dealings with their reps were fine. Their delivery crew did fine as well. Everything goes well with our Sleep Number.

We bought a Sleep Number bed 15 years ago and we liked it. Because of that, when we were ready to buy again, we bought another Sleep Number bed. I did that over the phone and the people I talked to were very helpful. I knew what I wanted and they made sure I got the best deal. The bed that we got is great and is high-quality.

We purchased the split king ILE 360 smart bed mattress with split E King 360 Flexfit 2 bases on February 13, 2019 at the 1018 Buckhead Atlanta Ga store. Our purchase was predicated, in large part, on the “100 night in home trial.” The delivery and set up on February 21, 2019 was far less than professional or satisfactory with much LOUD yelling at each other, damage to our existing bed and initially delivering a queen size mattress which does not resemble two splits.
We are not comfortable on the bed and the split gap is very uncomfortable for which there is no apparent fix. We also have doubts about the quality of the installation by the same delivery people. After an email request for an on site visit on March 28, 2019 was ignored for several weeks we met with the manager of the Lenox store. We indicated our dissatisfaction and the need to return the bed and he said the bases which cost about $3,200 were not refundable.
Neither my wife or myself had heard this and anyone would be crazy to not be able to return such an expensive part of the bed, with no practical use, with full disclosure. The manager said other customers CLAIMED they had not been informed of this exclusion but he is certain he states this policy. It was only when we were paying that we signed several parts of the contract that I signed the exclusion of the base portion along with many things to fill out for the bank transaction. This signing was also done in good faith since we had not been made aware of this exclusion. We would have been gone from the store with prospects of forfeiting $3,200 possible.
I do notice the form entitled LETS REVIEW that the statement is made: SLEEP NUMBER 360 SMART BED - 100 NIGHT IN HOME TRIAL with no indication the bases are excluded. So, I am scheduled to have the mattress returned at a MY cost approximating $300 and am unable to return or have a use for the bases totaling $3,200. I see now why customers have to be satisfied since they can’t afford to be stuck with a $3,200 non-returnable base.
I find this approach of excluding an integral part of the bed, which in fact, cost me more than the mattress deceptive, especially when this fact is disclosed only once the customer has decided to purchase. I’m also concerned that the manager indicated other customers had stated that they were not informed of the base exclusion. Since this is not a rare occasion for him to hear this you would think he would make it a point to make sure the potential customer has this fact upon which to make a decision up front. The loss of such a large amount makes for compromise. Also, my wife never got the right number, heard periodic sounds and the bank charged my bank account the monthly amount the first month and the entire balance the second month.

This is our second Sleep Number. We had our first one for 10 years and loved it and we didn't want to rethink changing brands. For health reasons, mainly my husband Rudy's back, we needed to make a change because our 10-year old bed had kinda begun to sink in a little bit. And our representative, Robert, at the Galleria, was excellent and explained that to us how that can happen. We probably could have upgraded before 10 years. But our old bed was well worth it for 10 years. We upgraded and went to an i8 360, Split King. I couldn't understand how we could have two different beds and it would still be one bed. But Robert was able to show that to us and help me understand. We absolutely made the right choice.
That was not the first bed that we looked at. But once he understood our sleeping needs he stirred us toward the bed that was the best bed and that was very helpful. My husband was afraid that if we didn't get the Split King, then he would disturb me if he was moving the whole bed. That was a very, very good point that Robert brought out. So, if Rudy puts his in the snore position, I don't even know it. It never disturbs me because my bed is completely separate.
After we went to the store the first time we went home and thought about it and Robert waited a couple of weeks and told us about a promotion. I told him I was sorry we hadn't called him back. I was glad he did that because then we made the extra effort to go in, talk with him again and by then, we made up our mind of which one to get. He helped us with our pillows and was very patient. We appreciated that.
Robert had assured us that the delivery team would give us a couple-hour window, and then before-they're-coming window. We live in the rural area and I wanted to make sure that they would get here. Robert said they deliver all over and they were here on time. The delivery team called me that morning. We moved our bed out and put it into the living room. We passed it on to one of our sons because it was steel and still in good shape.
When the men got here, they had just the bed frame, and they were ready to put it together. They were very nice. I was having a senior moment. I didn't move the tools on my furniture, without something under it and they were very understanding about that. He let me lay something down, so he could put his phone and other stuff. The youngest man explained he synced our phone with the Sleep Number control. Robert did that too in the store initially, and then this man followed through with whatever else needed to be done. By then the bed was in place and he could finish up. We read all the instructions but it was still helpful that he did it. They cleaned up and they were on their way in an hour and 15 minutes.
I have found, the best way to make the sheets is to put each side on the mode for "read." Do it one at a time, in that way, you can tuck the fitted sheets under there real good. I can manipulate the sheets better. I love the sheets and it has good pillows. It's really been a good experience. We're in our 70's and I'm assuming this would be the last bed we buy. We had to consider too that they stand behind their product. Rudy said we have have 30 days to bring back the first pillow that we brought home. We did have to take his pillow back because it wasn't comfortable for Rudy's neck. That went really well. I also know that if there's an error, if something happen under that bed that was electrical, or whatever, Sleep Number is gonna respond. So that's a good feeling too. Several years ago we gave a coupon to friends of ours at church. And they used the coupon to buy a Sleep Number bed. We tried to pass on the good effects of it.

We had had our Sleep Number bed for seven and a half years so we went back and got another one. We did it at both places in Lubbock, Texas. The first place was there in the mall then they moved it out of the mall to a shop of their own. I had already printed the mattress that I was wanting off of my computer and when we went to the store, I just walked in and handed it to the guy. The salespeople were really nice, whereas the delivery was not the best part. Two guys came but apparently, the guy who usually came with the main guy had some appointment and wasn't able to come. I don't know where the main guy got the other person who came with him but he looked like he was homeless.
I was expecting somebody who looked a little bit more professional and didn't look like a thug. But that kid looked like he was on drugs. I could never even decide what his face looked like because his hair was in his face all the time. I'm glad I wasn't home by myself and that we live an hour and a half away from Lubbock, Texas. I hoped the kid wouldn't ever wanna come back and rob me. It was really sad too, because the other guy did all the work. This kid was just there to help bring things in and then take things back out to the truck. He was spending all his time on his cellphone. But that aside, we love the mattress and I keep telling my other kids they all need to go buy one of those Sleep Number beds as well.

This company is a bunch of scam artists. The store told us we could get 48 months no interest on our purchase, but put it in for 12 months. They won't change is so we had to return the bed, but they won't refund the bedding, the delivery fee or the pickup fee to us. So we are out almost $900 for something we not longer have. I am horrified how you can do this to families.

A friend recommended Sleep Number the first time and we bought a twin bed. And then when we were ready to get a new bigger bed, we got the Sleep Number again. The delivery crew came in, set it up and showed us how to use everything. They set up the internet for us and everything. The bed is a queen size and has the internet connected to it. It also has pressure relief. We like it. It's better than our previous one.

I had a Sleep Number before for 18 years and I thought it was a very good bed so I wanted to purchase another one. The saleslady I had was very good and helpful. Then there were two gentlemen who came in for the delivery. They came in the winter time and they didn’t protect their shoes. But I had told them they didn’t have to put on their plastic bags because my carpets were bad enough. When they went upstairs and set the bed up there, one of the gentlemen bumped something off the wall. But he didn’t damage it. We put it off to the side and I had to put it up later. That was the only thing that went wrong. Otherwise, everything went good. The gentleman that was in charge also showed me and got my phone set up with the app. So he was very helpful. After I got the bed and the mattress and we got it set up, I also bought two sets of sheets online.
The bed I had before didn’t have the numbers though. It was just a simple bed back then but now I've got those. Otherwise, I really like it. I've had this bed for about three months now and I’ve been messing around with the numbers, going up and down a little bit, trying this and trying that. I think I got it where I like it now. The bed is worth what I paid and I would recommend it.

This mattress has dual chambers with two controls. That's one for me and one for him so we can have our own settings as to how firm or soft we want it to be. I sometimes plow it up to very firm and then let out just enough to where I'm falling a sleep and that's where I leave it.

We put an order in on Friday the 12th and it was wonderful. It was supposed to be overnighted. Well it didn’t come Saturday so I called today and was told it is back ordered and they have no idea when it will be in stock again because it is a 4 year old pump. Very disappointing we could have pumped up the bed for temporary use on Friday instead of 4 miserable nights sleep waiting for the nonexistent pump. Thank you for listening.

I have only been sleeping on this bed for two nights. It’s 8:19 pm and I CANNOT WAIT to go to bed tonight. To be direct; I used to sit in the living room vs going to bed in our room because the “quality mattress” we had there was just that. It was a decent mattress but no sleep number bed! I’m so incredibly happy. I have your pillow, sheets, weighted blanket and now the adjustable bed base with an i8 mattress. I don’t think there’s anything else I could ask for. I had such a pleasant experience with both the delivery team and my sales manager Andrena. We are quite happy. As long as this bed continues to be this amazing you’ll have a customer for life!

My mattress is about 12 years old. Lots of improvements since then. Still extremely durable & completely comfortable. Have experienced no problems whatsoever. Easy to assemble and disassemble. Dual control. Relatively simple and easy to use. Surprisingly simplistic in construction and set up. Customer support only utilized once within a short time after initial purchase. Very responsive.

We purchase our I8 360 bed 8 months ago and paid $5,000 for this bed. From the week we got it home we have had nothing but problems with this supposedly great product. First we had connectivity issues which they said was due to being plugged into a surge protector (???), and the remote needed new batteries, they were new. Next the under bed night light would just come and go off randomly all night - they said computer issues. (Still not fixed) Then we started to sink in the middle of the bed, so once again I called and asked them to come take a look at it since it still under "warranty".
Well for a mere $200.00 they would, only the parts are covered. Oh and it also takes at least 2-3 weeks for them to send someone. (Not what we were told when we bought it.) So we "troubleshot" over phone and they decided it was the pump and not the chambers that is leaking air. Set a time to replace pump for a MONTH later - on day of service they called and said something happen and parts are not in. Will have to be 15 more days before they can come fix. I just want to return this piece of junk and get money back, but it is out of trial period. Just want others to know before buying one. Bambi **.

We have had a king Sleep Number bed for about 6 years and we were very satisfied. Because of some health issues we need an adjustable bed. We bought a 360 Dual Flex King Sleep Number bed. We’ve had it for about 6 weeks and love it! It is expensive but it gives the comfort and flexibility that we need. It is a great bed!

It's great to be able to adjust the softness and/or firmness when having back problems. Well worth the price and lasts for many years. Can't go wrong and the newer models come with feet warmers and body warmers. Great to have to warm your bed up before you get in it. Nice and toasty and has a timer you can set.

Not worth the money and not necessary to pay more for a Sleep Number bed especially for one sleeper. If you have two sleepers with different sleep needs, then it may be a good option. I had it two years and although I haven't had any problems with it, I wouldn't buy it again.

It’s a good sleeping platform but sometimes technology can get in the way. Between the Wifi and Bluetooth at times connectivity can be a problem. The adjustability of the bed and mattress to my needs any night make it worthwhile.

After call and review I got a call from a manager. They sent me a new motor and didn't charge me for it. I am giving them 4 stars instead of 5 because it took a review and several calls to resolve this issue. If they stood by their product the first time on the first call initially then I would be giving them 5 stars.

I purchased a Sleep Number bed 3 years ago. The pump went out. They want $350 to replace the pump. We spent $7000 on this bed. The warranty is prorated. DO NOT BUY THIS POS!!!! If you spend that much money this product should last well over 3 years.

We can't apologize enough that you haven't had the experience with us that you were hoping for, Nicole. Defects in our beds are rare, but the ones that do occur are most often found and reported in the first two years of use, which is why we fully cover any replacements due to defects during that period. Since you've owned your bed a bit longer than that and you’re now in the prorated portion of your warranty, where we're still covering a portion of the cost for your replacement. Long time Sleep Number ILE owner 14 years. We wanted an adjustable frame, so we called in for a new one. The young man that helped us became a bit tiffy when we were headstrong on the ILE. He wanted us in a P5. He said the ILE was the most returned model. We thought he was trying to push a lower class mattress. Called back in and we got just what what we asked for. After 4 weeks of agony, pain and frustration, we called in to return it. We spent 7k, and we get 3k back. Yup. The lady that helped me return it also stated that this model is the most returned. We should have walked away.
We went to a local mattress store and laid on an stellar Katrice memory foam model for 3k. There is no comparison to be made. My back is all rods, wires and morphine filled tubes. My old ILE was heaven, and my kids now agree since I gave to them. This new European style just means they left all the comfortable stuff out. It may be the P5 is ok. I’ll never be back. Don’t assume that you will get the same quality, and ignore the electronic bobbles. They do not add to comfort. We have managed to salvage the adjustable frame. What a nightmare.

It is nice to be able to adjust the setting separately. I like it firm and my wife likes it softer. Had to replace the pump after 8 years and the controls are now wireless. Have had no issues with the mattress.

I did a lot of research when buying a bed since this was my first "really" good mattress. After almost five thousand dollars I really regret my choice. It is just an air mattress and I really wish I would have gone with the Purple Mattress. I would not recommend a Sleep Number to anyone. Oh and after time one side gets deflated and the pump is a real pain. Save yourself some money and get a higher quality mattress.

My wife and I have been long time advocates of your mattresses. We have owned two, there is one in our son's room, our guest room, our vacation home and we even gave one as a gift to my Mother. Our last purchase of the adjustable bed, however, has been awful. It has broken twice and each time the "customer service" has asked my wife to crawl under the bed to check various things. The reason she purchased the bed was her bad back! I am not sure if we purchased a lemon, or if the technology is just poorly designed, but clearly this bed does not measure up to the price or our expectations of what a Sleep Number bed should be.

We received our bed on March 16th. We have had the bed 16 days. We have only been able to sleep on the bed maybe 7 days and then I wake up in a big sink hole after a few hours. I am thankful that we were able to keep our old bed or we would be sleeping on the floor! My 1st service call went well I thought although the reset of the bed did not fix the problem. I woke up again in a big sink hole! Another sleepless night!!! My 2nd call was not as pleasant as the 1st. The lady (she wasn't so nice) said the air flow was not the problem and that the topper was and she would order a replacement. It would take 5 days for us to get it. Once we receive it they will schedule a tech to come out and do whatever he needed to do. So we wait! Finally yesterday was the glorious day that we would get great sleep! Not so much!!!
The tech took apart the bed, adjusted the air lines and told my husband the topper was fine! No need to replace it. I was so looking forward to a good night sleep. Again 2 hours after going to sleep I woke up in a big hole again. I have never been so disappointed in with an experience as I am with this purchase. I need a resolution and I need it ASAP!!!

Sleep Number by far is the perfect mattress. Natural Form comes in 2nd, The Natural Form Garden Inn Bed is the BEST by far over any bed! Sleep Number we can choose our own comfort level. Natural Form we can also select. It’s a toss up. We love both!

I’m a heavy person. This style mattress lets me adjust firmness and top can be changed so something I would wear out in a couple years. Allows me to keep this style mattress for many years. My last one I had for 15 year moved and purchased a new one so hopefully another 15.

Pretty good mattress. The electronic controls lost their displays after a number of years. This was disappointing. My wife and I have had the King size mattress. It is a pretty old version compared with the options available today.

I ordered a Queen 360 Smart Bed from Sleep Number. I had understood from the store salesman that during the 60 day trial period I could return the mattress if I did not like it and he led me to believe that there would be no charge for returning it to Sleep Number. Little did I realize in the contract that if I did return the mattress, I would have to pay $212.13 to have Sleep Number pick it up for the return. Also, I did not realize that I did not have the option to return the mattress myself to the store where I purchased it.
After trying the bed for several nights, myself and my husband did not like it, as we could not get it to set like a regular mattress. It was a gloried air mattress that I would just as well bought at Walmart. I called immediately after delivery to return the mattress and was told I could not return it to the store, that the factory warehouse people from 1500 miles away would have to pick it up and would charge my account for $212.13 just to return it. Had I known that before I purchased, I would have never gone through with the purchase. It cost me a total of $424.26 to "try" the mattress, as I had to pay for the initial delivery which was the same amount and the pickup charge. So just for finding out I did not like the mattress, it cost me $424. I am furious and will tell everyone I know plus social media that Sleep number is not a company to do business with!!

I like the ability to make the mattress as firm or soft as I want. I do not like soft sleeping surfaces. The mattress feels like it will last at least the 8 yrs recommended for mattresses. Mattress is not big and bulky.

We had a Sleep Number 25 years ago and we decided to get a new one, which we've had now for three months. We got a pillow and did the base and the mattress. The remote control was out of battery after about three days. I replaced the batteries and then it worked for a day. When it didn’t work again, I replaced them again. And that was when we gave up and we're working it off our phone once we realized how easy it was to manipulate it with the phone. Also, it said that I was offline and so it lost connection with the router. And talking on the weekend with the chat person, I was told to just unplug it. I tried that but it didn’t work. And I called the person yesterday. He, again, told me to unplug it, and I tried it and it did work. He also said that we gotta have the router on a 2.4 hertz versus the five and that it might be just dropping off on a regular basis, and those guys fixed that. But that kind of thing was something I probably should have known originally.

I like a firm mattress (95). My wife likes it softer (75). I use to put a piece of 3/4 inch plywood under my side of our old mattress. Only problem is the mattress is too light to hold the sheet at the bed end.

Have had my mattress and support for over ten years. I enjoy the comfort and adjustments. My wife cannot get comfortable with the mattress. However my complaints include the pillow top cover. The zipper to hold it into place is too small and susceptible to coming apart from the bottom. For a cushy top the company should invest in a larger, durable zipper which will not split when weight is put on the bed. The greatest complaint I have is mold. I do not open the mattress every week to clean, but when I do a few times per year, the inside is covered with a dark mold. The air mats have to be cleaned and the inside of the mattress cover cleaned from the moldy residue. I could clean more often if the zipper were not so skimpy.

We think it is really important to know that while situations like this are rare, common household mold can occur in any mattress or piece of upholstered furniture under certain conditions. Mold spores are present in ALL outdoor and indoor environments.
Our testing revealed common household mold levels were in each case lower than mold levels typically found in normal outdoor air and were generally lower than or comparable to mold levels found within buildings with good air filtration systems. We have been advised by independent experts that for consumers with mold allergies to be affected, the mold spores must be airborne or otherwise come in direct contact with the consumer, and this does not appear to be caused by our product.

Right from the beginning we've had a great experience with Sleep Number. Connie our sales rep was delightful and super knowledgeable about the mattresses and products in the store. With all her years of experience with this company, she's also gained a lot of insight about sleep habits. She was much more than a sales person...more like a "sleep therapist"! The bed was delivered as scheduled and the delivery guys were 100 percent professional, courteous and organized. They assembled the mattress quickly and disposed of all the boxes and plastic wrap within 30 mins. It's been 2 nights now and my main reason for purchasing this bed has been resolved... No more aching hips and no more tossing and turning. So far I love this bed!

It's a lot of money for a mattress. After sleeping on it for a few weeks my back began hurting as bad as it did before the purchase. I have to drop the number all the way to 35 to be comfortable. It's like sleeping in a hammock then. My wife agrees it way too expensive and no more comfortable than a good regular mattress.

To start this out, my friend and I ordered our beds on the same day from the same store on February 16th. His bed was scheduled March 5th and mine was scheduled March 9th. The 9th rolls around and I get a call saying one of the delivery guys didn't show up to work so they can't deliver it today. I get it, it happens and it’s not the rep's fault. So, we start looking for looking for a new delivery date. The opening the rep could find was March 27th. I told her that's not going to work because after the 24th, my work schedule is rotating to nights. I explained that we needed Saturdays or Sundays because my husband has those days off. She was super nice and said, "No problem, I'll have to call one of our departments and look it over, I'll call you back on Monday to work this out."
While the situation is annoying, so far, I've done my best to handle it and be nice. Except no one ever calls on Monday. I give it a few days, you know, case load could be really heavy. Well, I called in yesterday and am told that it's set up for March 27th, the date I said wouldn't work because I'm working 12-14 hour night-shifts at a 911 center, kinda need my sleep. Now my date has been moved back even further to April 6th, almost 2 months after I ordered my bed. The rep I spoke to was nice enough to put a note in my order file saying Saturdays are best and if there is a canceled appointment to put mine in. My husband wasn't too happy and called to complain, I doubt very nicely because he's kind of brusque.
Now we just got an email saying it was moved up 3 days the 3rd of April. A Wednesday, that I'm working a full night-shift again. With a quick call that was fixed, and the delivery date was moved back to the 6th, with a promise of removing the delivery fees. But they said they can’t remove the fees until the delivery date. To round off this whole ordeal, it’s now April 6th and guess what phone call we just got. That’s right, they can’t deliver it today either because once again their employee didn’t show up to work. And to top off that wonderful little tidbit, they couldn’t even give us another delivery date, just said they would have to look into it and call us back.
I'm positive the bed will be great when I finally get it, and will gladly update my experience once I get the bed. If the bed ever gets here (I’m doubting it ever will), I’m sure it will be lovely, but that being said Sleep Number’s customer service and delivery is a joke. Our friend who ordered his bed the same day as us got it on the 5th of March and other friend has had one delivered in the last two months. I guess paying the price of a small car doesn’t mean anything to a company as shoddily run as Sleep Number.
So, if we ever do get a delivery date (it's already been 2 months since I bought and paid for the bed) I’m going to have to take the day off. Sleep Number has proved to be one of the most poorly ran companies I’ve ever encountered, and since I work for the government, that’s saying a lot. Hopefully we get a call back today giving us a new date. Once, again I doubt that based on their track record. I'll leave on this note, for $7000.00 paid in full a little more organization, promptness and follow through would be nice. I'm guessing my husband will call again, so we'll see how that goes.

We got our Sleep Number M7 Queen size mattress in 2012 (7 years ago). It has been the best mattress we have ever owned or slept upon. The adjustable firmness has allowed us to adjust each side of the mattress to our individual needs. My wife sleeps on her back, and I sleep on my side. Even after seven years, each night when I get into bed, I am surprised all over again by how extremely comfortable this bed is!
Our prior mattress was a top of the line double pillow top Serta that we had to flip and/or rotate every three months, which we did religiously for seven years. During the last two years, I woke up every morning with a sore back because the inner springs had fatigued and I wasn't getting even support. We took a trip and slept in various hotel beds, and I noticed that my back wasn't sore in the morning. This made me realize that our Serta mattress was the problem. I would never buy another innerspring mattress.
The adjustable air "springs" in our Sleep Number bed do not fatigue, and the support is as good as the first day we got the mattress. I wondered how well the memory foam layer would hold up, but so far, after 7 years, I see and feel no problem at all with it. An advantage of the Sleep Number bed is that even if the memory foam layer deteriorates, I can replace just that part because the mattress is modular. Another advantage of the Sleep Number bed is that it is very light in weight. I think our Sleep Number M7 mattress is the last mattress we will ever need to buy.

While I love our Sleep Number bed I am very dissatisfied in the quality of their sheets. While their sheets look elegant and feel nice the quality has been very disappointing. I feel they are outrageous in price and we have had trouble with every set we have had. We have the split top mattress and all have gotten holes where the mattress is split at the top. If I had it to do over again I would not buy the split top mattress and just be able to use regular sheets instead of the split top sheets. We have Walmart sheets that we paid way less for that are still in great condition compared to the Sleep Number sheets.

I had high hopes for the mattress. It's spendy and doesn't live up to the hype. It is noisy and is cheaply made. The foam edges are not sturdy enough to sit on the side of the bed. I'm sure that a cheap blow up mattress would have been exactly the same.

Purchased second bed on 2/26/2019, yesterday 4/3/2019 we finally got 100% of what we ordered. The original delivery was address was incorrect, they tried delivering it to my work, my home address was 31 miles away, but had to reschedule. They would not go 31 miles out of their way. They called my Ex about the sale and I already told them to take that information off the account. Needless to say, I didn't need that phone call. No prior call the day of the delivery, no foot warmer. Reschedule that, finally received yesterday and installed by them. Now I turn on my side of the warmer and my girl friends side heats up. Several other little issues, guess I'm lucky to have 100% of my order. Love the Bed!! Not Happy at all with the service side. Between my girlfriend and I, we lost three days just rescheduling our life to meet their failures.

I wish they had told me they had all different models! I would not have bought this model and it was $1000.00!!! I can’t sleep on it. If I do I can’t get out of bed and my back and legs hurt so bad. We like the Sleep Number bed, we have 2 of them, we will never buy another one. The problem is the customer services is abysmal, terrible customer service support. They do not return calls and do not let you talk to a supervisor and do not do a good job taking care of the issues with an expensive bed! On the other hand: Casper (great bed) and great warranty.

We bought the adjustable base queen bed. The main issues: over time raising the head of the mattress, the mattress gets out of shape towards the footboard and requires readjustment; the factory mattress cover now has a dip in it where one’s hips are positioned. In retrospect, I would purchase a different brand.

Adjustable air mattress with memory foam with sleep app. Adjustable frame fully adjustable and well made but not a wall hugger. Would recommend to friends and family. I have a split king and app or remote is easy to control either side. Adjustments for mattress control and bed frame by app on phone or separate remote. Easy comfort adjustment ie. softer or stiffer mattress.

We were looking for a new mattress and decided to try a Sleep Number bed. The 360 ILE mattress was available for half off so we thought that would be good. We went into the store and spent over an hour trying it out and thought it would be good. At all times throughout the process we confirmed the 100 night sleep trial where we could return it if we weren't satisfied. We were assured that we could return it for a refund if we didn't like it. We bought just the basic base because we didn't want to pay for the adjustable base up front. Since we bought a split king, so that one day we could have it be adjustable, we felt like we needed to buy one of their custom mattress pads.
After a week we realized that we had made a mistake. My wife and I both like a low Sleep Number which causes the bed to literally cave in the middle. You end up being sucked into the middle all night long like you are falling down a slide. When you try and roll over it feels like you are climbing uphill. We tried to return it immediately but were not allowed to. You HAVE to keep it for at least 30 nights. I tried again after 2 weeks but still couldn't. On the magic 30th day, we immediately called and asked to return the bed. We got the bed relatively quickly but had to wait 11 days for them to come and get it. So we were stuck sleeping on a bed that we did not like at all for over 40 days.
After the return was applied to our account we were shocked to see that we still owe $650. They charge you $200 to deliver and another $200 to pick it up. The other $250 was the mattress protector. We thought we could return the protector as well but you can't. Not only that, but you only have 30 days to exchange the pad that you bought. So you can see this is designed to milk you for as much money as possible. They force you to use the bed for 30 days, after which any bedding that you purchased cannot be exchanged. Apparently they allow it to be exchanged within the first 30 days. If we would have known that, we would have at least exchanged it to something cheaper within that time to pay less for it. Luckily we didn't buy the adjustable base or we would have been stuck paying for that as well, as those are also not returnable.
Now we are stuck paying $650 and have literally nothing to show for it since the mattress pad could only be used with their split king mattress. There are many others that allow you to try a mattress with a real sleep trial. Check out Brooklyn Bedding. Great mattresses with a real FREE sleep trial. No fees for shipping or returns. That is a company that is confident in their product and wants to make sure you like it.
I will never deal with Sleep Number again and I have, and will continue to tell, everyone I know what it really costs for their sleep 'trial' and what a terrible experience it was. It is an awfully expensive trial. We should have been told about all of the fees upfront so that we knew what sleep trial meant. We should have also been told that the mattress protector was not returnable when we asked about the sleep trial. Obviously you don't want to keep a custom mattress pad if you return the mattress it goes with.

We're really sorry to hear it wasn't a better fit for you, Layne. We recommend sleeping on a new mattress for at least 30 day as it can take a little time for your body to adjust to a new bed. I was a fan and wanted this bed for years and was so disappointed when I got it. I had the limited edition 360 and they advertised how it was great at relieving pressure point pain and helping you sleep cooler, my two main issues. Neither was true, I slept hotter on this bed and no matter what number I tried the pressure point issue remained. When I watched the delivery guys assemble my bed (something I could have done myself) the foam looked so subpar for the price I'd paid. It is just two air mattresses under basic foam so I guess the high-tech air pump is all you are paying the high price tag for.
After being convinced to give it at least 30 days by all the salesmen that kept calling things never got better so I returned it to find out that they not only charge you $199 to deliver this bed but also $199 to pick it up and neither functions are so high-tech they need experts for this. It is just a way to get $400 out of you no matter how you feel about their product. BEWARE!!!

This is what I wrote in my satisfaction survey to Shelly: Maria ** is an amazingly kind, product smart, humorous, and communication brilliant in representing Select Sleep Comfort. I called late night while in bed resting from a recent ankle surgery due to a motorcycle accident. Trying to get my sleep settings the most comfortable since I had to try sleeping on my back (50 helped a lot). I noticed the edges of my bed seemed to be lower and angled so to almost fall off the bed. I deduced it. Must be the foam edges being worn down after 17 yrs of use. Actually Maria shared I purchase this bed 12/5/2002!! In the numerous 4 and 5 star hotels, I get the best rest in my Select Comfort and even suggested to a Hilton - why not use your product? Maria offered me several suggestions including swap and flip edges, purchase new edges that she researched to assure still available and even suggested a replacement mattress. She sent me the PO Quotes for both and even included a discount. In addition she emailed me my chat transcript.
With my recent surgery I am unable to swap and flip without some help. Which I will attempt this weekend. Barring that not working leaves me with the other two alternatives. Maria ** really cares about her job as I asked numerous questions as not only a very happy customer but as an engineer wanting explore all options. I was amazed at how late your support chat was and while my wife slept in setting 30, we chatted for seemed about 45 mins as you can read the transcript.
I have bragged to my friends, relatives, doctors, my chiropractor and my employees what a wonderful design in your Sleep Comfort product and unique design especially the adjustments for both my 220 6'3" and my wife's 120" 5'2" frame. Feel free to contact me for further enforcement/info and as a senior leader in my company, employee performance recognition is Paramount in our jobs and I always tell my staff "I praise excellent performance to an embarrassment and privately criticize to encourage improvement." This is our second Sleep Number bed and it is an extremely expensive bed. The main reason we would spend the money though is because of my wife's back, asthma and reflux. We have one that tilts so that she can tilt up to sleep properly and without having acid reflux. It's an excellent bed and we enjoy it. Although it is a little overpriced, it's a good quality product. We're very satisfied. It also seems like if you talk to the customer service, they take care of whatever is needed to be done.

I purchased a Sleep Number bed in February in Southpark Meadows store in Austin, TX on Feb 18, 2019. I not sleeping well after 6 weeks and am extremely disappointed in the product. For the cost, it should be an excellent night's sleep. When discussing returning the bed, I learned that the majority of the cost of the purchase (the base) is not refundable. I am very upset that the salesperson did not disclose the nonrefund status of the base. I realize it was in the paperwork post purchase, but that information would have changed my purchase decision. I would not have purchased the bed.
I am upset about that, but will respect the contract. I do feel it is VITAL to have full disclosure of that fact when the sales rep on the floor is discussing the purchase with customers. Even though I was upset when finding out that the base was nonrefundable, I found my interaction on the phone with the return team was rude and confrontational. I asked to be transferred to someone in hopes of dealing with someone kinder and was instead berated on the phone ("fine! - You're just going to get transferred back to me"). That's not how you want your customers to be handled and I feel this is a huge failure in customer service. Please, as a company policy, make a full disclosure of the refund policy made in the original verbal discussions of the sale. I had three years of severe and almost debilitating back pain. I also have Sciatica down my leg and I'm always laying down. I've been to many doctors around the country. My wife and I stopped at a Sleep Number and while I didn't want to order some cheesy, inflatable type of bed, we did. It was delivered on a Saturday and I woke up that Sunday morning and I haven't had any pain since. I like that it's uniform wherever you are - crossways, if you're on the edge or in the middle, or even if you're up or down. I also have the tilt features, as well as the mechanical base which are nice. I use them for reading and then I can lay flat when I sleep. Additionally, I can sleep on my stomach again. I'm extremely happy with my Sleep Number bed. My life has just done a 180. I told doctors to have people change their mattresses. I also told my friends that Sleep Number has worked for me.

We formally had a 5000 series bed purchased in 2007 and wanted to upgrade to the i8 Flex King Smart bed. The in-store experience was top notch with Samantha, in Fort Wayne, IN. Never did we feel pressured and she answered all of our questions after demonstrating the functions of the bed. She also surprised us with the fact that as previous Sleep Number bed owners, we were eligible for additional discounts. The purchase was easy and the excellent delivery was as promised by professional installers. Now, if we love sleeping on this bed for years to come, we are winners! The first night my husband & I slept well, so we are expecting to be very pleased going forward. Also, I love the Lyocell sheets that we purchased to fit our new flex top, and plan to buy more.

We got a bed from you a long time ago. We needed a new one. We like the one we got from you so we call and got a new one. This new one is the worst bed my hubby has had to buy. A board under the pillow top so he sleep as he not well. We had to buy it. Is a queen size. This bed is nowhere like the bed we got the first time. It is too bad. You now make bed as you did 18 years ago or so when we got our first bed.

I have had issues with the mattress since day one. I was told that to have someone come out and look at it, that it will cost me 175.00 which is now 299.00. I paid close to 5,000.00 for a P6. The audacity to charge for someone to come out after that much money was spent, oh and the alternative is to get a troubleshooting guide and figure it out myself, Awesome Customer Service by the way. I was never told about being charged for service when I purchased this system. The worst purchase ever made and the most uncomfortable mattress ever. And I should also mention the adjustable base stopped working which is a whole other company I have to deal with. 4 yrs and I am looking to purchase one outside of Sleep Number. Waster of money and worse sleep ever.

We strive to make our beds easier to service, should our owners have any troubles, which is why your warranty provides coverage for replacements due to manufacturer defects but doesn't include a technician. The Sleep Number that we had was old. More recently, I got a new basic king-size Sleep Number. I found that it was a little difficult to get the basic model when I got online and finally talked to a guy. He was trying to sell me up when I didn’t wanna be sold up. I had to convince him that I didn’t want the better mattresses and all that other stuff. He had an agenda and that took a whole minute and a half until I finally convinced him his agenda wasn’t gonna play. I’ve been a sales guy, so I understand why he’s doing it and what he’s looking for. Still, he wasn’t difficult to deal with.
When the bed was delivered, their delivery team just dropped off the boxes, then I took them apart and put them together. I put the old one, then replaced two conventional mattresses, and put the new one on my bed. I am quite satisfied with the company. It was easy to make the decision to get another mattress. Financially, they made it quite convenient for a retired person like myself who needed a new $1,200 bed to do business with them. Having zero financing at $65 a month is nice, smooth, and easy. This is number 12 in the Sleep Numbers that I’ve purchased. I’m getting value for my money.

We had the bed about a year. It started making a horrible noise when the right side was filling with air and that side was losing air nightly. After climbing under the bed for about 30 minutes with a technician, it turns out there was a kink in the air hose where it makes a 90 degree turn just before the pump. I was sent a new air hose and installed it myself. (Terrible design, by the way. Just asking for a kink!) After putting the new hose on it continued to lose air. I checked hose connections (twice), then turned off responsive air. The air loss slowed, but still over about 2-3 days much air was out of that mattress. We have been messing with this for months trying to figure out this second problem.
I finally called warranty hoping they would send someone out to troubleshoot. Since the bed has a 2 year full warranty I figured no problem. Guess I didn't read the fine print that only parts are covered! So the part I am getting is a cap to do MORE troubleshooting! Not sure when I'm going to get a good night sleep on this bed again. Cheap parts. I'm not at all impressed right now that I have a 25 year prorated warranty since we started having problems after about 1 year.

Delivery of the base and iLE mattress was planned (and confirmed by earlier email) for 3/12/2016. There was no delivery in the 3 hour window promised and no notification from Sleep Number. I called for information and was told the delivery was to be 4-5 hours late because of "bad weather in the MidWest". The delivery never occurred on 3/12. When I called the next day I was told that the delivery was now to be on 3/22 and there was no way to change it. The regional manager has assured us that just compensation for this inconvenience of consequence without notification will be made. We are waiting and disappointed that such a seemingly reliable operation can be so totally disorganized.

Awesome experience at the store, during delivery, and... oh yeah good sleeping. Delivered within 5 days exactly as anticipated. Still testing app but so far so good! One thing appears to be missing. Switching from one to two sleepers and back again (like syncing HVAC in the car).

My wife and I purchased the i8 360 Smart Bed, adjustable base and remote on 3/4/2019. The sales person also put on a mattress pad and 2 “free” pillows that we ended up returning as they were far from free. That should have been our first sign that we were making a mistake. Everything was delivered on 3/12. The delivery went as expected and was smooth. As far as the bed, base and remote is concerned, we have had it for 9 days and have not had 1 night of restful sleep. The bed deflates/inflates for no reason in the middle of the night and the motion transfer is horrible. Our remote also completely died on 3/19 and was constantly throwing connection errors.
On 3/21/19, we called with our concerns. The lady was nice and offered us a sleep solution, where they would ship out some sort of fiber layer that would have to be installed at no charge. The issue is that they couldn’t install it till 4/6. I then inquired about the process of returning everything. She stated that someone would come and pick everything up for a pickup fee of $199. I confirmed that this meant the mattress and the base, and she said “did you read your terms and conditions?” I paused not sure what she was talking about. No we haven’t read any terms. She then went on the say that the base wasn’t refundable as per the terms and conditions. I stated how we were sold this 100 night trial where everything was returnable within 100 days. I felt lied to and cheated, as this was never brought to our attention. I asked for a copy of this and she said that I can find it online. Knowing this wasn’t her fault I thanked her and hung up the phone.
After hanging up the phone and speaking to my wife, we decided that we need a solution now, and she was appalled that we can’t return the base. The base itself was almost $2,000 and was “custom made for sleep number” as our sales person said, which is why we got it. I called back and stated that we wanted to return the mattress and the base. The customer service rep set up the return for the mattress, but again said the base isn’t refundable. I asked for a signed copy of the forms and she said to call the store. I do not and will not deal with that store again.
I then was transferred to a manager per my request. She states the same thing, as expected. The bottom line is that the terms and conditions are not clearly stated and where not given to us. If we signed something, it wasn't explained to us and we didn't have a chance to read it. We did finance the bed, so we probably thought we were signing that agreement. At no point was it said that the base was not refundable.
The same person went out of his way to explain that "if we are not happy, we can return it for a full refund". This is not the case, and can see from the reviews on here, I can see that this is a common practice just to get the sale. We were lied to and deceived. As I told the manager, I would even be willing to pay to have it picked up and even a restocking fee. I get that this thing is heavy and not cheap to send back. I am requesting a refund of the base, and will be filing a dispute with the credit card company and other companies/agencies if we are not.

This is absolutely ridiculous. I expected to walk in to a store on March 10th and buy a pillow and be ale to sleep on it that night. But since you do not have pillows in stock, you had to ship one to me. I figured I'd have it in a couple days. It's now 9 days later and UPS after faking a delivery on March 16th, left it at a UPS access point. I never received a call from the gate. I was home at 941am. UPS sent me a email saying that deliver would be reattempted On March 18th between 4:15 and 8:15pm. I waited again and still no pillow. I called their access point today. They told me the pillow has been there the entire time since Saturday, no one picked it up to attempt a redeliver. I called UPS and they said the best they could do was attempt to deliver it again in 2 days time.
I tried to give them detailed instructions for delivery, but they said that my tracking number had already been reused so I could not do it. I would suggest 2 things 1) stock some pillows in your stores. 2) never ship with UPS again. This is the 3rd time in as many attempts to receive a shipment from Select Comfort and each and every time, you have completely messed up! First time was May 2017 when I ordered a bed to be delivered to my apartment in Charlotte, NC NO EARLIER THAN MAY 23 as I had not even moved in yet. The bed was first delivered to an old address in Florida. Then, a new Bed was delivered May 19th and sat outside an empty unit for 5 days until I arrived.
Second time, in 2018 I ordered a bed to be delivered to my house in Florida, but the delivery somehow got cancelled and never showed up. I called to reschedule and they said the bed was no longer available. As it could not be rescheduled for a ridiculous amount of time (over a month). I ended up cancelling the bed and ordering something else. And now this! What exactly are you guys doing? Is it just me? Or do you treat every customer like this?

We had a terrible experience with delivery. Our delivery date was cancelled 3 times. When we called Customer Service, they told us they have no way to find out any information about the delivery. I assume this is because it is sub-contracted out. When finally did receive delivery on the 4th scheduled date, the mattress was frozen from the back of the truck. The installers attempted to put the mattress in the mattress "case" and it was curled up and wouldn't lie flat. Our installer said, "Oh, that looks horrible." The mattress also had a stain on it even though it was wrapped in plastic.
We accepted this mattress because after 3 cancellations for delivery we were desperate to sleep on a bed again after so many weeks. After the installers left, we had to take the mattress out of the case and fix it ourselves so that the corners lined up correctly. After all this, I can say the bed is the best I have ever had and I sleep great! We do love our new bed. I'm just very disappointing in the delivery/install and stain part because we did spend a lot of money and would expect a much better experience for that money.

I’ve had Sleep Number products in my home for about 15 years and I’m very happy with the overall quality of the products. I’ve bought mattresses, bedding and frames – the whole nine yards. We chose Sleep Number because it's comfortable. I like the adjustability and after we've had one, we convinced the rest of the family that they needed it so we bought more. The people at Sleep Number know their product and are helpful. Plus my experiences with the delivery were very good. I would schedule home deliveries and they would arrive on time.

Updated on 03/22/2019: I was requested to contact their people to attempt to resolve my extremely poor review of their mattresses. Below is their response. I spoke with a Heather today regarding my Sleep Number bed and my prior poor review of the bed. Her response was that I should have been working with Sleep Number in troubleshooting the problem with the bed if there was a problem.
As I had called several months ago complaining that I was having problems, they sent me a piece of 2" foam to place on top of the bed, nothing about troubleshooting. I explained to her that I've had ongoing problems with my back, having an extremely poor quality of sleep and I've removed the Sleep Number mattress from my bed and replaced it with another mattress that I'm happy with and not causing all the issues.
Her response was to set up the Sleep Number mattress, use it, call them about troubleshooting a possible problem and go from there. I told her my health and quality of sleep was more important to me than to attempt to again sleep on the mattress for probably several weeks in determining what was wrong with the mattress. Therefore, I'm stuck with a Sleep Number mattress which is of no value.
Original review: I purchased the mattress approx 1 yr ago. It's by far the worst mattress I've ever slept on. The mattress has valleys, does not support one as they state. The air mattress inside the bed is surrounded by foam rubber to keep the air mattress in. The foam part of the bed is higher than the mattress and you also get a valley there. My poor back has been giving me serious problems. When I wake up in the morning my bed looks like I've gotten in a fight with it. The covers on the opposite side of the bed are pulled towards me. I can only assume that I attempting to get into a restful, comfortable position and I'm losing. I purchased the mattress recommended by their own review site, big mistake. I've also tried a couple of those box mattresses to no avail. Just purchased a box spring mattresses from Costco, a Sealy, very, very pleased with it.

I’ve had Sleep Number products in my home for about 15 years but I’m not as happy with my new bed as I was with the prior one. I keep my bed as firm as I can. I keep it up to 90 but the new bed is not as firm. When I get off the bed or turn in bed, its side gives way. Still, I'm satisfied with my experience with them. The salesman was excellent and the home delivery was terrific. They did everything.

We like Sleep Number products and we've had them for about 15 years. Recently, we purchased the i8 adjustable and everything was really good, from ordering to delivering it. The salesman was wonderful and his knowledge of the product was amazing. The other salespeople, not so much. They could learn a lot from him. The delivery was great too. They even let me video how to put the bed together. We recommend Sleep Number all the time.

I'm happy to be a Sleep Number customer. I've had my bed since 2011 and it has been wonderful. An issue did arise with our pump and hoses and the representative was able to assist us timely, knowledgeably, and had our parts on their way immediately. As a consumer my concern and issue with my bed was resolved quickly and painlessly. I wish more companies have the customer service quality that Sleep Number does.

We've had a Sleep Number bed for years. This time, we purchased a king-size bed from them. The delivery was smooth and the guys did a good job. They did everything they were supposed to do and then took out the old bed. My favorite part of the bed is the adjustable part. Each person can set their own most comfortable setting. And although Sleep Number beds are expensive, the quality is good and we love it.

My husband and I both desire a different mattress firmness. We purchased from Sleep Number because we liked their customer service. We've had Sleep Number products for at least 10 years, and we recently bought a king size mattress, sheets, duvet, and a mattress pad. We had a delightful experience with the sales representative who was very knowledgeable and very good on follow-up. The customer to delivery guy relationship was great. They were very respectful of staying clean and had good manners. I had a very satisfying experience and I’m very satisfied with the product. I would recommend Sleep Number. We have five couple friends that have purchased from them at our recommendation.

I bought a Sleep Number i8 bed a couple of years ago partially due to their heavy advertising and believed that I got a great bed and assumed that I would have great customer service. Wrong on both accounts! The bed was very expensive and I started to have an air leak in the bed a few months ago. My wife and I went to our local Sleep Number store and were told by a nice sales lady that we should try to "cap" the mattress off to determine if the air leak was coming from the mattress or the air pump. We did not check the bed for a couple of months after talking to the sales lady because we were told at the store that there would be no problem fixing this bed because we had a 25 year warranty. The sales lady failed to inform us that after 2 years our bed is PRORATED and is not covered 100% anymore.
After sleeping on the bed for a couple of nights we determined that the air leak must have been coming from the air pump. I called the local Sleep Number store to talk to the lady we originally had talked to and was informed that she no longer works for Sleep Number. Then I called customer service and told them my problem and they said it "sounds" like I need a new pump. I then was informed it would cost me $200 for the pump because my new bed warranty was up (it was less than a month since it went over two years and was prorated at $200 for a new pump?). I then asked if someone would come out and install the pump and was told that a service call of $200 would be charged to do that? Wow! I would say that you get what you pay for but in this case that is not true! I was expecting fantastic customer service and a good warranty and I got the LEMON! Please go elsewhere to buy your bed!!!

I returned my bed and adjustable base over 3 weeks ago. It was picked up from my home. I was told it would take 7-10 business days. It has been over 3 weeks. I have given Sleep Number time to get it together because sometimes things take time, I understand that. I chatted with someone on their website and even called a couple of times and they keep telling me I have to talk to Synchrony. This turns into me calling each one back and forth, and all in all, at the end of the day, I have returned something almost a month and a half ago and still haven't received my refund. Don't buy this bed thinking "oh if I don't like it it can go back" because they will not refund you, or you will have to hunt it down. Ugh.

I had a previous Sleep Number for over 20 years. I recently got a queen size bed and it is on an adjustable bed frame. The quality is excellent. Otherwise, I wouldn’t have re-bought the same product. I’m still using the other mattress on a guest bed right now. And I think it’s going to outlast me. The salesperson at Sleep Number was excellent. When I went in, I knew what I wanted because of my past experience and I was very pleased that he never pressured me into anything more than what I wanted.
I scheduled for a home delivery and since it was a brand new house in a brand new neighborhood and most people don’t even know where my street is, the delivery fellows had a problem finding me. And they pulled in to the high school parking lot. And I went and met them down there and took them up to my place. When they were here, they set the new bed up, they told me how to do it, and it was a very good experience. I’ve already suggested Sleep Number to other people.

I've owned Sleep Number beds for 20 years now. It's a good product and I like that I can change the number if I needed to. Three months ago, I got a new one as it was time for an upgrade. The adjustable frame that I bought with the bed has been very nice. However, the unit itself had some bumps in the beginning and I was very unhappy. I got in touch with the people that were supposed to help with that but the person that I talked to initially didn't understand how a Sleep Number works.
I asked for his supervisor and I finally got an answer. I was told to unplug the unit for a week to try to reset it and that they would call me back and see how that worked. I didn't hear back from them for almost two weeks though. It wasn't very customer-friendly. I turned off the part that adjusts when you move and I think the issue has been resolved. It's probably because I have dogs that sleep with me, so that doesn't work if I get out of bed and the dogs stay in bed. I'm not too excited about that at this point.

I cannot tell you how much I have been looking forward to buying a sleep number mattress! I bought a queen 360 mattress and moveable base during the labor day sale. I was given a date 3-4 weeks in the future for delivery. To make a very long story more succinct- I never got the mattress and bed and ended up requesting a refund 3 months later! I had paid for it and still didn't have it 3 months later. I had taken apart my bedroom furniture twice in the process. The whole thing was so frustrating.
The first delivery came and the base had a crack in it. The delivery guy tried to say it wasn't a big deal but we requested a new bed and delivery date. They come back the second time and measure our stairwell and say that it's too small and they won't even attempt to take it up the stairs. They said we needed to order a King instead (which apparently comes in two pieces). We asked why they hadn't measured that last time and told us that then! They said becuase it wasn't them who delibered it. Mind you, one of the guys was the same guy! And they had unloaded it the first time into our living room (without measuring) when we saw the crack. The whole thing was so maddening.
I called to talk to customer service about how upset we were that it had now been 3 months and literally all they said to this story was "OK, we will issue you a refund." No apology and no attempt to fix the issues we'd had. I couldn't believe. Oh, also while all of this was going on, I received a letter from Sleep Number saying that since it had been so long since I bought the bed and it still hadn't been delivered that they could cancel my order any time unless I set up a delivery date. THERE WAS NEVER a time when I did not have a delivery date.
At every step of the way the customer service was awful which says a lot about the company's structure. Also I've written and mailed a letter to Sleep number (because it is impossible to find an email address for them- even when I asked- I was given a mailing address instead) months ago and have yet to hear back. It has been several months since I sent the letter. I am still really disappointed and still sleeping on my old mattress. It's a real shame because they have a great product but I don't recommend anyone go through what we went through. For as much as we paid, it's really unacceptable.

We're very sorry for the delivery experience you've had, Nawal, and that this has resulted in you cancelling your order. We've already had a Sleep Number bed for the last 16 years and we finally figured it was time to change. We went to St. Cloud and were shown different ones, and we picked one out. Both of the gentlemen that we talked to at the store were super knowledgeable. We are totally satisfied. The bed is so much nicer than the old one and the comfort on it is so much better. The sides have broken down on our old one and I had a little leak on my side. The new one is so nice. It is a little firmer than what we had before, but we've gotten used to it. We picked our numbers and it is really great.

The team was EXTREMELY helpful and patient while I tried out the different mattresses and pillows. The staff is extremely friendly at this location and even though I haven't purchased a bed yet, I will within the next 60 days and I'm making it a point to purchase it from the Valencia CA store that I visited just because of how nice they were and how easy they were to work with. Of the different Sleep Number stores that my wife and I have visited, the Valencia CA store was the best!!!!

I was getting a couple of operations done and so I needed a bed with the raise and lower the feet and head feature. We got the i8 and its quality is very good. I love the comfort of it and the foam rubber top is very soft and comfortable. I like the bed very much. Also, customer service was very good and the delivery went very well. The men were very knowledgeable about the bed and the delivery took very little time.

This is our third Sleep Number bed. We have two which are now in guestrooms, and the first one was purchased in 1999. And then in the early 2000s, we purchased a upgraded version, 2006. This past December, we purchased the adjustable so that the head could be raised and my husband could sleep more comfortably. We like the fact that the head can be adjusted and it's very good quality. It was quite a raise in price, but it was very well-made.
The salespeople in the store we dealt with was very nice this time. The second one, the middle one that we had, was purchased through an online vendor on QVC and then the first one was ordered directly from Sleep Number and was delivered. My husband put it together back in '99. When we had a problem with the pump my husband had to call customer service a couple of times and they prorated a new pump for us.
We bought the base for the latest one because we needed it and the two young men who delivered it were very good, very helpful and very fast. But the base, we were told, weighs 200 pounds. I don't even know if they do that anymore -- send the product out and have the customer try to put it together. But with these new adjustable ones, I don't see that that's feasible at all. So it has to be a delivery-type situation, which was what we had.
We scheduled the delivery Saturday. But they called ahead and wanted to come even earlier than we had been told initially. That was all right. We had moved the other bed out into the guest room earlier that morning. So, by the time they got here the room was clear and they were able to bring up the base to the second floor. That's another thing that the salespeople might want to ask the customer on behalf of the delivery people, if they're going to a first floor or second floor and what kind of access do they have.
We have a stairway that goes straight and then it takes a 90-degree turn to the left before they can get it up the stairs. Sleep Number is very good. We haven't shopped around for any other brand. All the other major brands that are sold in bedding stores are seeming to try to copy Select Comfort, so that must tell people something. Others are trying to make adjustable beds but sometimes it pays to go with the original.

I ordered a pillow on 2/17/19 and was told it would arrive in 2 weeks. When it did not arrive, I called and found out that the store made a mistake and marked it as taken at the store so it was not ordered. She then ordered it on March 2 and told me that it would be expedited to me. I still have not received the pillow and when I checked on it today, I found out that it was not shipped until 3/5 and is nowhere near Georgia. I do not understand why the mistake was made in the first place and second, it should have been over-nighted to me at no expense to make up for the inconvenience. They offered me no compensation whatsoever for their mistake. I feel this is very poor customer service and I will not recommend this store to anyone I know.

We have also owned one for 5 years and we are able to adjust the firmness based on what's going on with our body. My daughter is not having as much back pain as she had before. The i8 smart bed was delivered and installed last week by 2 very nice and seemingly competent men. The next morning I checked the app and it showed that I slept only 40 minutes, and it was during a time that I wasn't even in bed. It showed my husband sleeping 10 hours when he probably only slept 5 or 6. I called Customer Service and spent the good part of the day with 3 different agents. The app wifi connections to the bed on my Android phone and tablet were both gone.
On the phone, I learned that the Wifi frequency had to be 2.4 GHZ; ours was set to 5. I had to call our ISP, Xfinity, to split our connection and figure out how to reconnect our devices. During the course of the day, I was instructed to disconnected/reconnected the bed, the box, the wifi, Bluetooth, and other devices in the house. I tried to connect the app manually and tried using the app "remote". The last CSR I spoke with, Samantha, determined that the "box" in the bed must be faulty and ordered a new one shipped overnight to us. That was late Thursday. The package arrived late Monday afternoon. That does not sound overnight to me.
Yesterday, I called Customer Service to assist me in installing the new box. When I tried to connect to wifi on either of my (droid) devices, it failed, again. One more call and I spoke to an agent who said she could do nothing, that it was a problem with Xfinity (apparently Xfinity had done an upgrade that was causing problems with the connectivity to the bed). I could return the bed, end of story.
When my husband got home he tried using his iPhone and the bed connected. We are still baffled. I think this is one of the most comfortable beds that I have ever slept in! The technology needs help and Sleep number needs to address these issues. Potential issues should be stated during the sales process, not after the purchase. I have jumped through so many hoops that I feel like I am as knowledgeable about the bed as the CSRs. Our decision to keep the bed is still up in the air. One last issue. We had a great relationship with our salesperson and was contacted by her. We have emailed her back and forth about our issues, but she can only advise us to call Customer Service. I find that troubling that the person that sold us the item cannot help us.

We've had Sleep Number beds for 29 years but I’ve been having a lot of back problems and so I wanted the fully-adjustable bed. We got the king-size from them in which each side adjusts independently. The sales representative was very knowledgeable and showed us various thicknesses of foam. I went in knowing what I wanted to buy so it wasn’t a question of looking at every possibility and he was fully informed on anything that I asked. The delivery went beautifully and the people were very professional. They had to take our old bed apart then take it out and then bring all the pieces for the new one and put it all together. I had a bed frame that I wanted to go in and I called the company to make sure that this bed would fit in it and it did. The quality was very good and I’d certainly recommend any of the beds from Sleep Number. It has enabled me to sleep in the bedroom again as I was sleeping in a recliner in the living room for a month.

We bought this bed about 8 weeks ago because we were not sleeping comfortably and I would get up in the morning hurting in my hips. I have not gotten sore in my hips since. We already had the adjustable base. We love the iPhone app and the sleep data that it gives us. To sum it up, we love our new mattress and pillows.

Very uncomfortable, loud when filling up the chambers. The mattress sinks like you're in a pit and is not made to move around in at night. The bed/base also has a plastic smell that is not pleasant. I wouldn't of written a bad review if they would just take back the base. I'm out 3k and have a plastic base in my garage after paying for them to pick up just the mattress, which is not really a mattress, it's an air sack.

The Flex 2 bed we recently got was a replacement of a Sleep Number we bought about 24 years ago. Its head and feet go up and down. The quality was good as well that was why we rebought and then we recommended it to other people. The sales representative was very helpful and I appreciated it. The delivery people were here at a certain time and they came in and set up the bed quickly. It went the way it was supposed to. An excellent experience overall.

After using the bed, I realized the frame was 3-4 inches from headboard. My husband didn't realize it was back that far when it was set up. We have a small bedroom. I have to squeeze around the bottom of the bed to get to my side of the bed, not to mention the risk of dropping stuff between the headboard and bed is a fear, with such a large gap. Lost points with me!!

I had a friend recommend Sleep Number and this is the first time I've had one. The delivery guys set it up and showed me how to use it. When I was on an old, conventional bed, I would have a lot of hip pain. I’d have to toss from side to side because of the pressure building up on my hip ‘cause I’m a side-sleeper. I got on the Sleep Number bed and because I could adjust it to where I want, I have no more hip pain in bed.

This is our second Sleep Number. It’s queen-sized and it’s got the pillow top that elevates the head. The reps are always great, and that’s why we always go in ‘cause they’re all helpful. They were busy that day, but they made time for us. We had to push the delivery day back ‘cause we were repainting our bedroom. We rescheduled at least three times but it was all great when they came and put it up. It’s the only bed we sleep on, so anytime we recommend it, we recommend it highly.

When we purchased this costly system we were told if something were to break or become worn over time that we could simply replace the part. A great selling point. If a foam wall were to wear we could purchase just that item instead of an entirely new bed. The foam layer on our Dual Temp is shot and needs replaced. I wanted to purchase another but was told they won't sell it to me and I'd have to purchase another brand new Dual Temp layer. All I want is a piece of foam and they want me to buy an accessory for over $1,000 for just a piece of foam. I will no longer recommend this company to others as I have for years. We were misled in the store and they will not service their product after the warranty expires.

As our beds come with a 25 Year Limited Warranty, we are able to replace individual components in your bed, throughout the time you have it, however, our DualTemp Layer has a shorter warranty and it's possible we no longer offer the component part you need which is why it was advised that you purchase a new layer. We had a Sleep Number before for 20 years, but it didn’t have the feature where you could elevate the head and so forth. Also, it didn’t have the foot warmer. We recently bought a king size mattress and the sales rep at Sleep Number assisted in every way possible. We scheduled for a home delivery and our experience with the delivery team was one of the best we’ve ever seen. They set the bed up and explained it very well. The head guy was exceptional.
Our new mattress is of wonderful quality. The only thing that we got wrong was the remote. There’s no way to turn on the foot warmer. And we’re almost out of cell range, so we had a hard time doing that, but that has been changed. Other than that, I really like the adjustable head rest, and we love the foot warmer. I’d tell my friends to get a Sleep Number. It’d be the best sleep they could get.

Bed has sunken spot, talked to a lady in Louisiana, took care of it for about $600. It is our newest bed, by the way, glad the other beds aren’t broke, we moved the last time our beds weren’t treated so well airbags weren’t blown up probably. Anyway, the memory foam couldn’t make it.

The bed is better than what I had during that interim period of two years. These people handled everything so well. I purchase a 360 P6 smart bed and after sleeping on it for 2 weeks as the sale person request. I called her to return the bed. She was such a big help in finding me a bed that would be better. I saw the iLE 360 and she told all about it and I said, "Ok. Let's trade for this bed with was on sale". She call me next day today and told me they wouldn't allow her to give me the bed at the sale price even after she told them I call while it was still on the sale. She said I would have to call customer service. After 4 phone calls I finally got my bed. I asked that they give the sale person credit because she worked so hard in finding a bed that would work for me in my price range.
This is my second Sleep Number bed. I had my first one for 15 yrs and still have. I have sent 2 other people to sleep number and they both purchase beds. One purchase 2 beds. I am writing because they wouldn't give the sale person Patricia ** at the St George Utah store credit for the second bed because they said she didn't complete the order but she tried and they would not approve the sale price even after she told them I call before the sale was over. I think this is bad business and it's not right to take her credit away and give to the customer service person after it took me 4 times getting my order. I do thank you for the order but I think that salesperson Patricia should get the credit. As I was just going to return the first bed and go somewhere else and buy a different bed. I feel like her hard work should be rewarded.

I’ve had Sleep Number products in my home for about 14 years and recently, I purchased the 600. I had excellent interaction with their salesman. He knew his stuff and he was able to guide me into making the right decision as far as what bed to choose. I had the bed delivered and set up, then they demonstrated how to use the app and how to set the different levels. The quality of the bed is excellent and I enjoy sleeping on it. It’s the perfect way to sleep.

Have old style Sleep Number beds. Wanted new ones that went up for better sleep with the smart beds. They will let you know how you sleep and adjust to the person sleeping in the bed. Are a lot different than the old beds we have.

I ordered a Sleep Number 360 bed for my husband who is ill and bedridden. I ordered a king size, change it to queen thru customer service, before delivery. I received a queen, was charge original 3000 for king. I called customer service, transfer me to the 'bank'. I was told it would cost me another 200 $ for someone to come out and verify. I am retired, my husband and myself are in our late 70's, we do not have time or the effort for this issue.

I’ve had several Sleep Number products for about 20 years and have tried other ones in the process and decided I wanted a Sleep Number. I got another one recently and I scheduled a home delivery for it which went very well. They did a very good job. I feel that the Sleep Number costs too much but I’m happy with its quality. Our son purchased a competitively priced make and he’s not very happy with the one he got. I’m really satisfied with mine. I was having some back problems and in fact, I had a disease that I didn't know I had at the start and I was having a lot of pain from that but Sleep Number helped us digest a lot after we found out what was going on. Our experience has been excellent.

In past 2 year, I have been on 2 conventional, a foam mattress, and another brand's air bed, AND STILL HAD A GOOD NIGHT'S SLEEP! Thank goodness I'm finally buying another Sleep Number bed. My wife always had pain upon awakening, no matter on which mattress she slept. Until now. The Sleep Number 360 i8 has made all the difference. We purchased the most expensive bed Sleep Number has and it's the one we've had the most problems with. We've had Sleep Number products for about 15 years and compared to my previous two beds, I'm very dissatisfied with this one. We got all the bells and whistles and the bed was installed very nicely. But the controls that go through our phone didn't seem to work very well. We also had a remote control and that didn't work either. We had to replace the motor and the remote control first, and that worked for another few weeks but then the remote wouldn't work. They had to come out and replace another control module. Then I spent $200 of my own money to increase my Wi-Fi network to see if that would help increase the capability of going through my phones.
Their phone support system sucks too. They don't have the capability of saying they would call back at a certain time. Most people do that nowadays. But with Sleep Number, I have to stay on the line for 20 minutes before somebody would finally get to me. That's pretty poor current-day technology. Then once you get to the people, you basically register for a complaint but then they transfer you and you have to hold on again. But once everything comes together, they're great. People-wise, whether it's for the repair or whether it's over the phone, they're fantastic. The people on phone support are very nice and proficient.
Once the bed finally gets to work completely, then it's absolutely fantastic. I'm very satisfied with the bed. But getting there, this time around, has been a really lousy experience. I'm very dissatisfied with the whole concept of getting support. Sleep Number also needs to get some quality stuff going down. It sounds like some of their stuff, or maybe all of it, is produced in Mexico and it sounds like they've got a pretty poor quality control deal from that arrangement.

Installation of 360 ILE King Split smart bed - We had a individual side controlled Sleep Number bed that was awesome so we were intrigued by the advertised 360. I did an online purchase after reading many reviews and the online advisor was very helpful in assisting me select the bed and accessories that we wanted. The day of the installation came and I was notified that the team was en route in plenty of time to be ready as we have an in-house per. The team were efficient in unpacking and assembling the bed and explained everything that I asked a question about. Once installed, they explained the controllers and the app which I had already installed on my iPhone. Our first night was great on this new bed and I fully expect many restful nights with this quality product.

This bed was miserable for us but their customer service was great. They sent service guys out to try and fix the issues. We appreciate Rich the service guy for taking the time to explain and try and make the bed work. Our numbers are just too different I think. I gave a 4 because they have been very helpful and they are taking the bed back with no issues. We have two sets of friends that just bought the beds and love them. Nice that customers really do stand behind their policies.

I love Sleep Number. I was having back problems, which I still have today, and I had bought several mattresses but I didn’t like them. I then thought of trying Sleep Number. I bought my first one back in the 90s when it was a much, much smaller store. And, I’ve been happy ever since. I have owned about four Sleep Number beds.
The previous Sleep Number bed I had was several years old. I had back surgery in November and because we thought we needed something that’s gonna give me that zero gravity position and we love Sleep Number from my previous experiences, we bought the split king-size bed that has the adjustments just prior to the surgery. And, we have no regrets. It was delivered and the team that brought it was superior. They were nice and polite. They worked quickly and explained all the features of the bed. My wife and I both love the bed and every feature about it.
Additionally, each time I’ve ever been to a Sleep Number store, the sales associates have always been very good, polite and knowledgeable. They've never been pushy about anything too. Overall, I’m really so happy with Sleep Number. I have mentioned it to friends and family and even Sleep Number when I go there that I would be an unpaid spokesperson. I’m not the type to do that, but these beds are terrific. I’ve travelled the world in my career, slept in 5-star hotels and done drop-ins, and I would recommend Sleep Number over any bed I’ve ever slept in.

The quality of the bed is very good and the representatives were most helpful and very courteous and they gave us some good advice. The delivery went very well too. They came when they said they would and they called when they got here, and they put the bed together and was gone in about an hour. I would recommend them.

I was under the impression you could return the bed with a pick up fee of $190. That is true but what they don't tell you is you have to keep the bases, which aren't cheap and marked up over 300%. So what I thought was a great deal, ended up being a scam. Try it without the base if you are interested. If you like the bed then try the base. GOOD LUCK.

We bought a iLE mattress with dual controls, my wife likes her mattress. With me it's the worst sleep experience ever, I have been waking up with back pain, did not bother calling them thinking it will go away like usual. I have had back pain that usually lasts three or four days. But nothing like this, every morning I wake up with back pain and it starts feeling better as the day goes by. Even had an MRI done of my back everything looks fine. Finally I called the company they say I’m out of luck because it has been more than 100 days. They want to keep adjusting the settings while I suffer. I wanted them to replace just my side of the mattress and keep my wife side as is which they said they cannot do. Overall very unhappy of having spent more than $7500 and waking up with pain every morning and they hiding behind the fine print and not taking care of me.

I already had a Sleep Number bed and I wanted another one. We've had their products in our home for 15 years now and we were always very happy with our Sleep Number bed. But we were downsizing and it was automatic for us to get another Sleep Number bed. The salesperson who sold me the new bed did a great job. He was very professional but very friendly. I appreciated the several follow-up phone calls I got to make sure that I was happy with everything. Also, the delivery was great. The lead guy who came was wonderful and very professional. The delivery guys moved my existing bed to another room. They had to tear that one down and set it up in another room, then they set up the new bed. But the lead guy was very gracious and never grumbled about that. The overall quality of the Sleep Number bed is excellent.

We arrived at the store before noon to find one other couple being helped. The associate, Melanie **, (the only one working) immediately greeted us and said she would be with us ASAP. Shortly she did come to us. For the next hour she worked between parties attempting to give us both her full attention. Of course she couldn’t be at 2 places at the same time so it took longer than we expected. Eventually a third couple came in and now she was stretched even more. We were impressed with her ability to juggle all the responsibility & remain pleasant and courteous. Melanie is to be commended for the fine job she did. Perhaps the company should provide more assistance, especially when having a sale.

Purchased this $9000+ bed in June of 2016 after a lengthy conversation with the salesperson about durability considering I weigh approximately 350 lbs. I was assured that these beds were made with larger people in mind and I should have no issues. A couple of months after the purchase one side (my side) of the split air mattress was sagging to one side. They sent out one of their technicians who simply put the foam inserts on the opposite sides and told me I should not sit on the bed more than a few minutes because that’s what was causing the problem. I expressed to the technician how absurd that was considering my wife and I had spent more than $9K for this bed. I called again approximately 6 to 8 months later for the same problem. The technician (the same one) came out again and switched the foam inserts to their original sides and told me again not to sit on the bed.
18 months later I ordered new foam inserts to the tune of approximately $160 (they were no longer covered under warranty). Since I and my wife are disabled I had my son come over and install them for me because Sleep Number would charge me to send out a technician again. When the original foam inserts were removed they showed excessive wear. There were large horizontal cracks and tears in the foam inserts from using the head and foot base inclines of the platform. The foam pretty much disintegrated at the incline points. The new foam was installed and six months later the problem returned. The remote loses connectivity intermittently for hours at a time. Bottom line, if I had it all to do over again I would have purchased something else a lot cheaper. This bed has been a total disappointment and is tantamount to putting money into a car that continues to break down. Keep your hand on your wallet.

The two young men that installed my bed worked together and completed the job quickly. They arrived on time and were finished on time. They let me watch as they set up the bed and explained what all the parts were. They cleaned up all packing materials and left my house as nice as it was when they came. They introduced themselves as Paris and Toronto, but you can call him “ O”.

My sleep number 360 bed started losing air twice a night, in November 2018. I was blowing it up/adjusting it multiple times during the night each night. In the morning I would go through the room waking up for the morning and by the time I would make the bed it would be completely deflated on my side of the bed. I started calling Sleep Number Customer Service in December, and it is now the 13th of February 2019. My bed is still not fixed and the service tech called at 4:00 pm today to say his crew is not coming for their scheduled call tomorrow. Commercial traffic will be running in our area all night tonight and all day tomorrow, by the way. The techs will not be in our area again until the 28th of February.
Service calls are $200 dollars a pop. Do not buy this bed to rely on it for health concerns or to be of comfort if you are old or disabled. If you choose to pay for one of these beds which cost $5,000.00 or more to begin with, just be aware that they are very expensive to repair and you may end up buying another brand bed before your two-year warranty -OR- your 3-year payment plan have ended. What sounds like a bed that is too good to be true is just that, too good to be true. Sleepless in Idaho.

We needed a new bed badly so we spent some time looking around. The advertising on Sleep Number was something and I found out that a person that I’ve known for about 12 years was working there. I contacted her and we went over and did the whole experience where you lay on different beds and they put you in different positions. In our early exploration, we also went to a completely different store and did all the laying down and all the different bed positions and the different styles of beds. The Sleep Number bed was substantially more money than another mattress that we were looking at, but we decided that we would invest in the Sleep Number bed.
We purchased the California King 360. It was the biggest and it was the best. I didn’t wanna buy a lesser model and say that I wish I had that one that had the legs that go up. The sales professionals at Sleep Number were all terrific. We were at the other store for almost two hours. My wife and I thought we were walking in just to get a bit of information then going to lunch after that, but we thought we might as well just go to dinner. We didn’t buy the bed that day, though. We did a little more research, then we just decided that it was gonna be the one we wanted. The delivery of the bed was fantastic. The team took my old bed out and set me up on the new one. They went through the remotes. There is one remote where you can make the bed cooler or warmer. They also went through the legs and the bottom lifting up and both sides lifting up separately.
It is a different night’s sleep when we are on the bed, although I’m starting to see a bit of cratering on my side and I’m gonna take a picture of it and send it to the store that I bought the bed at and ask them if that is normal. I’ve had one referral that already purchased and another that is moving to Las Vegas, and they are also purchasing next month when they get down here. I am spreading the word and I think it’s worth it. My wife and I are extremely happy with the bed and we love it. I remember when we first got it a couple of months ago, I would say, “I think I’ll just go to bed early tonight.”

After a couple of visits to the store, we decided on a c2 bed for my 9 year old son. He's not a good sleeper and ends up sleeping in our bed and then one of us (mom or dad) ends up in his bed. And no one ends up having a good's night rest. We were referred to this company by a friend who purchased a $10,000 bed from them and loved it! And had a great experience. We were assured we could 'try' it for 100 nights and they sold us a mattress pad as well.
In all honesty, they reiterated the $199 return fee a couple of times but I was so sure that between the referral and the in-store experience we would end up keeping the mattress. It did NOT turn out that way. The mattress was not made for a person like my husband who is 6 feet tall and over 200 pounds, I myself was not comfortable either at 5'6" and 140 pounds. And even my son had no more of a restful sleep on the mattress. So now no one was sleeping in that bed. I called to cancel and customer service is about a 1 rating from a 1-10 scale.
When I asked if there were options to the pickup such as, sending it back, driving it to a distribution center, etc. they responded that the bed gets thrown out. So now I was paying $199 for someone to pick up and throw out the mattress instead of given another option. This does not make sense to me?! So a consumer who was already upset that the bed did not work, (we had thrown his previous mattress out), sold a mattress pad we could not return (although I was clear that this was clearly a trial period), and now paying $199 for them to dispose of the bed. Leaves a very sour taste in my mouth. I'm sorry to say as a consumer with this experience, I would NEVER consider buying ANY of their mattresses again.

I was a previous owner of a Sleep Number and it has been about 10 years when I purchased the first one. We have purchased the sheets and the sales rep at Noblesville was very good with me. In the past, I have been in some Sleep Number and they were newer people in the store and were not real knowledgeable about some of the stuff. But this man was very good and so was one of the delivery guys. The other one was a little clumsy but he knew what he was doing. Other than that, the Sleep Number products have been wonderful and I’m very satisfied.

The boys that delivered our i8 bed only knew how to connect the plugs. They assembled the brackets wrong on our headboard and did not have proper equipment to do the job. My husband has to attempt several times to set the foot warming timer before it will respond correctly. The bed is way overpriced for the quality. The electrical circuits should not have bare wires leading to them. They should be enclosed.

On November 26, 2018, my husband and I entered a Sleep Number Store in the Columbia Mall in Maryland. It was about 30 minutes prior to closing and everyone seemed anxious to leave. We had already determined we were going to buy the 360 Smart Bed to take advantage of the last day of the sale. We specifically indicated to the sales lady that we had some medical issues that made the free test of the mattress attractive. We also indicated that we wanted an adjustable base and would like to test that out as well. We were steered toward the Flexfit 2 because of its features and instead of giving us the time to look at the options, we were rushed into the purchase of the most expensive base. The sales woman was anxious to leave and wanted to wrap the sales up quickly, instead of giving us a few minutes. This purchase would not have been a problem if we were truly “trying” the base out.
NO ONE ever told us that the base was non-refundable. NO ONE had us read or initial the information on the back of the sales contract that indicates this. As it turns out neither my husband nor I could tolerate the mattress and had to return it, only to find out we were stuck with a base we did not want and could not use. When the gentleman came to retrieve the mattress they found a defect in the base and along with the mattress took the motor that inflates the mattress. We are now left with a Sleep Number base without half of the equipment. When I called customer service they told me that if I didn’t have the mattress I wasn’t allowed to have those parts. I will never do business with Sleep Number again and I caution others from one from them!! Just in case someone believes I am not being truthful, I am happy to give my order number.

They will make your life hell trying to return a bed!!! I have had to call customer service every day because they keep saying they will call me back and I never hear from them. Still waiting to try to get a return authorization for the past week.

So many have asked how I like the Sleep Number bed. I wanted to give it a week or so. I can honestly say we love it. I am getting a much better sleep. If anyone is looking for a mattress this is the one to get. If you go to Milford Sleep Number ask for Chris, tell him I referred you. They do haul away old mattresses. But, be careful if you have an adjustable bed. They will not haul that away. Best mattress we owned. Very happy. I highly recommend this mattress.
