The online chat that immediately pops up can help take the fear out of ordering a mattress online. We researched all mattresses that we could find online to compare them because we do not have the time to visit stores. Saatva online ordering took the stress out of the process.

My mattress was ordered on Nov. 28, 2016. Within 24 hours, I received a call to verify my order; to see if I had any questions, and was told that it would take at least 15 business days, and I would hear from the delivery service to set up delivery. On Dec. 2, 2016, I received a call from the delivery service and my mattress was delivered on Dec. 7, 2016. I am amazed at the service I received, both online and over the phone, and the delivery was so smooth and unbelievable! It will be one week since taking delivery, and so far and I am satisfied. Will update this review once I have had at least a month to fully see what I purchased. The service from Saatva is superb!

Ordering was easy and the follow-up phone call reviewed our order which was good. We received the mattress on December 6 so we have only used it for a couple nights. At this point I am thinking we may have ordered the wrong mattress. It is a Flagship Luxury Firm we may have been better served with the Plush Soft. We may be using the 75 day home trial period and go for an exchange. We will know soon. I think it shouldn't take 75 days.

I read soooo many great reviews of Saatva mattresses that I took the plunge & ordered. So far, my experience with the person at Saatva who answered all my questions by phone then took my order... as well as the person who called me 2 days later to review the order & are sure of dimensions have been such a pleasant experience. I hope the mattress is as great. :-) And I'm already confident that I made the right choice!

I have spoken to Kayla and Adam. Both have been very professional and nice. At this point I am anxiously awaiting my mattress. Hoping to finally get a good night's sleep. So happy I found them online.

I wasn't sure if I needed a new bed frame so my Customer Service Rep suggested that I order one and when they come to set up the bed, the 'technicians' can decide if I need it and, if not, they will take it back and credit my account. I think that's outstanding!

This is our second Saatva order in several years, and we have been very pleased in both cases. My only strong suggestion is that you include the height of your frame in the basic material, instead of only within FAQs. This time we are ordering the frame and needed to know its height in order to reckon the total height of the three elements. I found it and then forgot where I found it, and had to look all over your site a second time. Otherwise all has gone fine so far and we look forward to the delivery.

I really cannot believe I ordered this item with no knowledge of your company or able to see what it is like. But I did not want to go to a mattress retailer and figure out what I should buy. I did a lot of research about various beds before deciding on Saatva. As big people, I'm sure my husband and I will be much happier with the traditional inner spring mattress rather than any type of foam. In contacting Saatva, I've had my questions answered fully and knowledgeably, very professional and polite interactions with everyone I've talked to, and I look forward to a successful delivery.

Mattress is too firm for us. My husband and I are both waking up all night long, tossing and turning and getting up in the morning with sore, stiff backs and necks... not the mattress for us. Please advise.

The Saatva people mean to do business in a way so as to make certain the customer is satisfied. I've done my research on your company after having a coworker tell me how much she loves her mattress and how easy the purchase process was. I have just this week ordered my mattress and I have been so very pleased with the communications regarding my order. From product information to delivery updates, I have been kept abreast of the progress of my order. And these communications were delivered by a courteous, respectful and knowledgeable staff. I bought the product on a Saturday and was contacted Monday morning. Although I was not able to answer the call, the voicemail was detailed and I was able to confirm the details on the order. I do not feel as if I need to call anyone back or have any questions. Everything has been well explained already. That is my experience so far.

We received the mattress and foundation in a timely manner, no complaints here. The shipping company which delivered the mattress was on time, although after opening it up we noticed a few holes and grease on the mattress. We can live with this, but, maybe the mattress should've been wrapped a little better, or the shipping company could have been somewhat easier on the merchandise.

Caller was polite and pleasant but your script needs an overhaul. Almost every sentence she spoke began with, "Simone". That was unnecessary (I know my name!), too repetitive, and more appropriate for talking to a puppy than an adult!

For a company that prides itself on the ease of online ordering, there is an annoying amount of old communication techniques being used. I understand that you have to work with delivery partners but that is no good reason not to have an online order viewer or a way to track or make changes within your website. You have tens of millions in revenue and you are severely lacking compared to other online mattress companies in consumer-facing web tools. As a web developer I know that something better than what you have could be built in a few hundred hours. I should not have to speak to people over the phone for something I ordered online. I hope I am incorrect and I merely cannot find your online tools. Your staff is very kind, but please update your technology for this decade. Excited for the mattress, though!

Ordering the bed online was simple and fast. I was happy that the company followed up my order with a phone call to make sure my order was just what I wanted. The customer service lady was very nice and helpful.

While always cautious ordering any product of this magnitude and cost, I found the ordering process a delight. I certainly trust the home delivery and resulting nights of sleep will meet my expectations.

Both Kanella and Lee were very helpful with answering my questions and making sure I was receiving what I was trying to order. I was able to change a mistake I had made with my order. Had a great online chat with someone (can't remember his name) who answered all my questions. However, the person who left a message about my order was in the middle of a yawn when he started speaking and sounded like he was about to fall asleep while leaving the message. Just didn't sound too enthusiastic about my order. ;).

The order process from the website was very clear and easy. We did receive a call within 72 hours (maybe within 48 hours). So far we are very happy and are awaiting our delivery with baited breath. We are putting it into a wooden waterbed frame and will be our first real mattress since 1978.

My wife had been doing most of the ordering as I have hearing problem and have a hard time hearing on the phone. I had found you on the computer and found what we needed to get order started. Rarely do you encounter customer care as I have, so far, with Saatva. I have not received my mattress yet, but feel confident if it is true to its reputation and customer service I have little doubt. I will be thrilled. Buying a mattress sight unseen is a gamble, however, if the run up to researching and ordering is anything like the product I am confident the product will be flawless.

Overall the buying experience with Saatva is excellent. Their customer service department is awesome and timely. I had to exchange a Luxury Firm for a FIRM mattress as the Luxury version is decidedly too soft. After a months of use on my first mattress, there was a depression too deep in the top layer to ignore. Saatva replaced the mattress... Amazing. We have taken the precaution on the 2nd go around to use a 2" top foam layer as we don't want to take a chance and it is working well. However, our mattress had to be thrown out due to possible asbestos exposure... So what did we do... Of course bought another mattress, foundation, and frame from Saatva!

I wanted to thank Trevina for advising me to sleep on my new mattress for a few more nights before judging the comfort of the mattress. She was right. This is a wonderful mattress and I would not trade it or give it up for anything now. Thank you for a superb product and such nice customer service people.

The first person left a voicemail and never mentioned "how many" mattresses I purchased! I returned the call and the second person never mentioned 'how many' I purchased. I finally had to ask 'how many'? Otherwise, a great experience!

I have an antique king bed with special requirements. It has a custom sized mattress. My challenge was to find answers and suggestions for adapting my foundation to conventional dimensions. The Saatva staff has been very informative, patient. The new mattress set is ordered. Fingers crossed, but confident they will be there if we have any problems. Happy so far!!

To date the customer service has been excellent. The email and phone information were helpful. My only suggestion would be to identify more clearly in one location the exact specifications for each of the three mattress support, comfort and quilt package systems. I eventually found them but I had to dig an aggregate the information on my own.

I am a real bug about customer service... Which there seems to be a gross lack of these days. NOT SO with Saatva! Their attention to detail and desire to satisfy their customers, at this ordering/delivery prep stage, is outstanding! Everything went just the way it was advertised. We received confirmation of our order. We received follow up that it was being manufactured and more follow up when it was completed. The delivery company called and we set up an appointment. The mattress and foundation arrived in the time frame given. They took away our old mattress and box spring as promised. They delivered the exact item that we ordered. No problems at all.

I had never heard of Saatva before and wanted to learn more. After reading all of the information on the most excellent website I took a chance and started a web chat. The person that I chatted with was professional, polite, and very knowledgeable. His responses to my questions were exactly what I needed to make up my mind as to whether or not I was going to again, "take a chance" and actually commit to ordering a mattress.

I ordered the Saatva mattress in soft because of all the great reviews. Initial delivery was a bit difficult, and it was improperly set up as they use local delivery companies who are not actually knowledgeable of the product. I had to move the mattress and fix the frame myself which sort of negated having it set up by delivery people in the first place.

The online buying process is very easy. The website walks you through the choices step by step. There is online customer service available, but they don't "bug you" if you don't need their help. My husband and I have bought several mattresses over the past several years and all within 6 months have had a "dip" in the center and we have woken up achy and sore. I found this company after a Google search and tired of sleeping 1/2 the night on the couch and 1/2 on the bed. My husband is a large man (he is 6'6) and we both sleep differently causing us to both sleep poorly. After doing lots of research and reading hundreds of reviews I decided that the queen 14.5 inch FIRM would be our best bet. The delivery was fine and the company was nothing short of amazing!

Your website is easy to wander, and finding answers to so many questions I had was a breeze. I have been looking at Saatva for a couple of years. I spent a lot of time searching out other options only to wander back to you. My husband's upcoming back surgery prompted our decision to get this bed before he goes in for his operation, so he could come home to comfort.

I used my computer to research different mattress companies. I was so impressed with the description of how a Saatva mattress is manufactured (and right here in the US) and sold. The online chats I had with several representatives were very informative. I was able to gather all this information and place my order directly on the Saatva website. It was so easy and simple. Now I'm just waiting to take delivery in the next few weeks!

Placed my order on a Sunday and received my confirmation call on Tuesday. The details were confirmed and sizes were verified. The call was polite and professional. My only advice would be to warm it up a bit. The representative was rushed and clearly reading from a script. The point of the call was to reduce returns by getting the consumer to confirm the size ordered. Which I'm fine with, just would have been nice if they just came out and said, "We want to make sure we get you the right mattress, have you measured?" Let folks go off script and the experience will be better. Looking forward to delivery.

I ordered the Luxury Firm but it was way too firm for me. First time I called to see what my options were they suggested a topper to help get the bed broke in and sent me one totally free of charge. For me this did not help so I requested to return it. They immediately refunded my account minus the shipping. I am now waiting for the pick-up to be scheduled. The mattress was not for me but the customer service is exactly as they say. However others stated they received follow-up calls but I have not received any call since the original purchase. The mattress is very attractive but just not for me.

From time of order to delivery everything went exactly as stated. My husband was coming out of in-patient rehab & we needed the new bed as soon as possible in a temporary rental place -- the bed was made, delivered & set-up in 8 days, instead of the 7-15 day window that Saatva had given me! What a wonderful surprise. We've only had the bed for a few days but it seems to be as good as the excellent service. Thanks to all who had a hand in the ordering, producing & delivering of our new bed!! AND, a huge PLUS, it's made in the USA!!

All reps with Saatva have been fantastic. I have experienced no transition time with my new mattress. I have several issues with my back; one being bulging disk. I am getting a good nights sleep. The description was a little off for me. Expected it to be softer but am glad it is the way it is.

Really loving my new mattress. When I ordered, I had based the measurement on a new bed frame I had purchased through Amazon. In the interim, I learned that the frame would not be delivered till Dec. So, I canceled and ordered a different frame, which I like very much. Bottom line is I have a 4" queen base that I am not using. I realize it was my bad. I don't want a refund or anything. I was skeptical about ordering a mattress online, without seeing it/sitting on it/lying down on it... But the thought of running around town and doing all that was not appealing - so I saw an ad and checked out the website for Saatva. Very informative website - showing how to measure the height of your bed, which was good to know. Also, CHAT online with three different reps who were quick to respond and answered my questions to my satisfaction. I received the call back after my order was placed, as promised, and very friendly service. Looking forward to getting my new mattress before the Holiday busy season!

First of all, I have no problems with the mattress or foundation that we received. It was packaged well and so far, the mattress (Luxury Firm) is supportive but not rock solid. The delivery process was great up until the actual delivery day. I had asked for a 30 minute call ahead so I knew when to be home. I didn't want to wait around during the 4 hour window, so we went somewhere nearby. We got a call from the delivery guy which I missed and when I tried to call back, the delivery guy was inaudible and he hung up. The delivery guy called back shortly afterwards to tell me that they made a mistake in their route and are actually in front of my home. Luckily, I was only about 15 minutes away and I asked them to wait for me until I got home.

The young lady who called me today was polite and professional. She thanked me for my order, explained the order process and what to expect next. So, so far so good. Just a little nervous as I have never made a purchase this large online.

Have enjoyed my experience so far. Website easy to use to place order. Follow up email/phone call confirmation good. Ability to real-time text and communicate with your advisors was very impressive and helpful.

After 3 orders of totally different mattresses such as ZenHaven 100% organic latex, top of the line Novaform, the Saatva Plus Soft was the winner. Body pains aggravated with ZenHaven as it felt too hard and the NovaForm which was way too hot, due to the no air circulating. The Saatva Plus Soft had everything in one, old fashioned coils that contours and responds perfectly to your body, plus a pillow top offering more cushioning for comfort. It's the best!!! Ordering another one for a guest bedroom. Thank you Saatva.

After quite a bit of research and asking a couple of questions on Saatva's online chat, we finally placed our order for a Saatva king size mattress! Placing the order online was very simple, and the site is easy to navigate through to find answers to most any question you might have. As stated, they called within 72 hours to confirm our order, tell us what to expect next and thank us. Looking forward to our first nights sleep on a Saatva mattress! Sure hope it fits up the stairs!

I am anxiously awaiting delivery... so far the customer experience has been top notch. I did plenty of research and went with Saatva based on great prices and great reviews. I called with questions and they were very helpful and friendly. I ordered easily online. And today I got an update call from them. So far so good. I will review more once I have slept on it!

The customer service was great. The communication was a little off as far as on delivery but was handled. We got the first bed and tried it for a while and it was very hard to us and hurting our backs. So contacted customer service and she sent me a mattress pad to try. We did try it and still was uncomfortable. I contacted you guys again and got the mattress exchanged for your softer one. The mattress was delivered and the old one picked up. I have not heard from you guys since that. You would call to ask about satisfaction, but not a word by phone or email since I asked to get a different mattress. Anyway, we even put on the mattress pad and the bed is hurting both our backs and shoulders. I am a chiropractor and this bed is way too firm for proper spinal alignment. I guess we are stuck with the bed and cannot get our money back. I cannot recommend your mattress to others.

Order process was simple and initial correspondence was good. Email received 9/27 saying delivery team would contact me week of Oct. 2. Did not happen. Called Oct. 11. Sales rep was a bit snippy and said I was only in the middle of my "window."

Just like many of the reviews, I was skeptical about buying online. I had purchased a queen size Saatva prior to this king size, so I had a very good idea of the quality. I loved the queen and I love the king as well. The quality is as described on the website. The delivery of the queen did not go smoothly, but after a call to Saatva, assurances and apologies were made and I felt as though moving forward with the king purchase was the right thing to do. The experience with the delivery of the king went very smoothly. The sleep quality for me and my wife is excellent and I cannot imagine a better sleep. Very pleased.

I received a phone call today, at work, telling me to go measure my mattress to make sure I ordered the right one. This was frustrating. I already did that – then ordered what I wanted. I don't need to be told to go take measurements. This call was unnecessary. I was told exactly what I read after I placed the order on the website.

So far the entire process has been great. I originally ordered one type of bed and needed to change my order and it was so easy. My representative was wonderful. I am looking forward to receiving my bed.

Saatva clearly places great emphasis on customer service. Was great to always have a person (instead of a computer) to guide me through the process. It's also nice that you clearly state that customer satisfaction is paramount. The one area of constructive feedback I'd give is that in my several interactions with customer support (twice through chat on the website and once with my phone call after I purchased), the Saatva reps were incredibly scripted. In the chat, the rep really just restated what was already available online, which made me feel like my individual questions weren't as important. And with the phone call, the rep literally just read a bunch of information and then said "have a nice day." It was awkward, and I think she could have asked if I had any questions before ending the call. These certainly aren't negative experiences, but they kept me from rating the experience at five stars.

I am awaiting construction and delivery of my new King mattress. The online ordering experience was straightforward, informative and relevant. I received a follow-up call from a customer rep to confirm my order and delivery address. The rep assured me I'd receive another call to schedule delivery when the mattress was ready. So far everything is worthy of a five-star rating. I'm looking forward to delivery of my new mattress and praying this mattress is everything it is advertised to be. This is my first experience purchasing a mattress without first visiting a traditional showroom. The company did a great job in their online presentation if they were able to convince me go forward and make this purchase.

We are less than a month in and already enjoying the comfort of the new bed. My wife has had two lower back surgeries and this mattress has allowed her to finally sleep through the night. Delivery was within two weeks after order and we were kept inform of any status updates. I paid for the old mattress and foundation removal; however, was not informed that this didn't include the existing bed frame.

I found the message board on your site very helpful. My first question to the lady Angel was to find out if you deliver to my area. It was confirmed, "Yes." So my husband and I completed our order and it would not process our visa. So, we called your number and a gentlemen told us that it did not through because you don't deliver in our area. I was confused because I now had two different answers. My husband closed the site and walked away. After a few minutes I decided to try again.. and texted the lady from the message board who again confirmed that it was deliverable to our area. I called one more time and this time the visa went through. I was flustered by this experience and almost walked away without purchasing our mattress and frame as I was misinformed by your call person.

I just ordered yesterday so I haven't received the merchandise yet. So far, the customer service experience has been amazing. I received an email from Saatva after placing my order, a follow up call this morning and after that... another confirmation email letting me know they had called me and that my order is going into production! Pretty attentive service for an online purchase. I think I'm falling in love...

So far it's been a painless process. They're very exact and follow up quickly with emails and calls. I was busy when called and they left a very detailed message. It's reassuring that they stress customer service. I haven't gotten my mattress yet but I'm looking forward to it.

Three years ago, I needed to buy a new mattress. I began researching TempurPedic, Sleep Number, Beauty Rest, and all the other name brand mattresses. A friend of mine told me about Saatva Mattresses made in the U.S.A. They offered a great trial warranty so how could I lose. I chose the flagship which is one of three degrees of firmness.

I would like to compliment you on your staff and how accommodating and courteous they are. I had a couple of questions before I ordered online and your agent couldn't be nicer or more helpful. I was going to pay using PayPal but received an email saying the transaction failed. I call and again I spoke to a very nice man who made sure my order went through. I was really excited to get this mattress and it was great for about 3 months then my hubby spoke up and said "we need to rotate this mattress, my back is killing me." Now he's not a small man, he is almost 240# so I figured because he's a big guy he's getting the body impression sooner. No biggie, so we rotated it and now I'm in pain! So about a month later now I can't take the pain anymore and we rotate it yet again! It's at this point I see that the quilting thread on the pillow top has started to come out! We are now both stiff and in pain and hate sleeping on this! I feel like we have been cheated of our money, time and now a quality sleep. I'm well over the 120 trial so I can't send it back, plus it was perfect during that time ended anyways and even if I could, what do we sleep on until then? The floor?!? Had I known that this wasn't going to last past its trial period I wouldn't have spend $1200 for this mattress and foundation.

A few years back we endured the mattress run-around when purchasing a new mattress. I vowed we would never again endure such an unpleasant experience. We ultimately purchased a Hastens Cal King 2000T. We moved to Florence in Dec 2015 and needed larger mattresses for our guest rooms. I spent the better part of a week researching mattress construction and online companies. I was now an educated consumer and contacted Saatva before purchasing. The responses were always friendly, forthright and accurate. Satisfied that we were dealing with a knowledgeable and reputable company, we purchased a Cal King Luxury Firm 11.5" w split 8.5" box spring. The mattress arrived in about three weeks and was courteously unpacked and installed by the delivery company.

If my Saatva Mattress is as good as good as the customer service at Saatva I know my back and I will be very happy. I am very excited about and can't wait to sleep on it.

I was really pleased with the service up until the mattress arrived at my apartment. The deliverymen were rude and inconsiderate and literally threw my brand new mattress against the interior wall of my home. My 9 years old Tempur-Pedic mattress is too soft and will not support my 214 lb body. I did a ton of research before selecting Saatva. After the mattress arrives and I have had time to sleep on it I will be back for another review. I am hopeful that this mattress will help my back pain.

Saatva representatives have been clear and informative on the phone. My only complaint is that the online chat was confusing because multiple names got involved. If the original person had immediately sent an email containing the chat, this could have been avoided. I did get it eventually.

Researched internet for a quality mattress & foundation with a reasonable price. Convinced by information found on the internet that the quality of Saatva has the best price for the quality. Sales team member was very helpful in answering all of my questions.

The buying process for the mattress seemed fine. The install crew was very nice. My issue is, I don't sleep well on this mattress. I was out of the country for a while right after I bought it, and when I finally slept on it, it was so hard, it made my shoulders and back ache. I woke up tired and unrested. I thought it was just a new mattress and I would get used to it, but it hasn't improved. Now it seems like the pillow top has compressed down to nothing, and I can feel the springs when I sleep in the middle of the bed. I'm 5'9 and 130lbs, so I don't think it's a body weight issue. I really wanted to like this mattress, I loved that it was made with organic cotton, but I'm so disappointed. It hasn't even lasted a year.

We do not like our mattress and want to return it as soon as possible.

Received 4 inch, ordered a 8 inch base. I called day after I ordered and asked to changed from 4 inch to 8 inch platform. I asked the rep he said no problem. Still received a 4 inch platform. Still undecided if I am going to keep it. Delivery was great.

We are not sure about this mattress. It appears that the company asks for feedback and says it has high ratings based on the initial contact with the company. I have not seen reviews from people who have owned the mattress for a while and I am really unsure how it will last based on my initial impression of the quality. Our delivery folks were going to give us a foundation that was different than what we ordered. Fortunately we noticed and they had the right one in the truck.

We were told our mattress would be delivered today (July 26) between the hours of 1 pm and 5pm. They called us today after 12 pm (less than an hour before our delivery window) to say that the mattress now won't be delivered until Thursday. Our monthly bulk garbage pick up was this morning so we put our old mattress out on the curb and it was picked up. We now have nothing to sleep on for the next 2 nights. I also took off of work to be home for the delivery and now I am going to have to take off again on Thursday. I am VERY disappointed.

After much time spent on review and research I purchased a Queen sized mattress online from Saatva Mattress Co. Never having thought I would make such a purchase online I started the process with much skepticism. I read such great comments about the mattress so I was expecting a lot, but I was very disappointed. The mattress was not as firm as I thought a medium would be and it sags down so much on the edges that we are unable to even sit on the bed. The biggest disappointment is that the back pain that I experienced before is still there. I thought that at least some of it would begin to subside with the new bed. I would actually like to send it back. I'm wondering what I need to do to get that done. With so much spent on a bed, I just expected more.

I first bought my Saatva mattress roughly one year ago after I did quite a bit of research. I wanted an organic mattress, and their materials and process seemed excellent. After quite a bit of research, reading reviews and going over products I decided on the Flagship Luxury Firm mattress. I had just moved to a new apartment and was sleeping on an air mattress with little support, so I was relieved to get the confirmation call from the delivery company that they had received my mattress. I was less happy to hear that the mattress would not be delivered for more than ten days, because they had no other deliveries in my area. I told them to send it back; I would go local and get a mattress because there was no way I could continue to sleep on the air mattress.
