I have been researching mattresses for weeks and to be quite honest it has been exhausting. A friend told me to visit Saatva and I did. The website is clear and concise. There are not too many choices to get confusing and the pricing was better than any of the department/mattress superstores I visited. When I placed my order the representative (Shadai) was personable, knowledgeable and answered my many questions without making me feel like an idiot for asking so many questions. I really appreciated that! I placed my order and received follow up emails about my special request delivery date within 15 minutes. I am so appreciative of the company meeting my special request date as it is very difficult for my husband and I to take off from work. Overall... I WONDERFUL buying experience.

I have been amazed by the level of customer service that this company offers. Every single interaction has been pleasant, efficient, and flawless. NOT ONE SINGLE ISSUE with multiple interactions. In today's world you have so many negative interactions with companies that it becomes the norm. You EXPECT poor customer service. But Saatva restores your confidence and makes you realize that there are still companies in the world that DO IT RIGHT!! Wish other companies would take notice!!

The service I received from Yasmin, customer service representative with Saatva Mattress was outstanding. She was patient, customer oriented, product knowledgeable, and did not try to hard sell the product to me. Rather, she listened to my needs and made suggestions based upon those needs. Unfortunately, I didn't listen to her and made my own choice, which was a huge error on my part. When I called Yasmin and apologized for not listening to her sound advice, she was gracious and told me not to worry about it and ordered the mattress that she had originally recommended for me and will be exchanging the mattress I had originally ordered with the new mattress, and only charging me for the cost of delivery and pickup. Thank you Yasmin for your wonderful time and care of me!

We ordered two XL Twin Mattresses for our King size bed. We couldn't believe how quiet and smooth the remotes run. It is so quiet that we know it is working when we see the bed moving. You can't hear anything. I recently had 3 back surgeries in two years. My back is pain free now. I had a great surgeon at Johns Hopkins, MD. Plus The support is just what I need. Then disaster struck. I lost my remote. I called Saatva on Memorial Day. And our favorite person Nick answered the phone. He was so reassuring. He said, "No Problem!" I hated to request overnight, BUT I DID. THEN when he told me that the remote and the shipping would both be free, well, when I got off the phone, I cried some Happy tears. He even sent the remote all programmed and a how to video by email so my husband could set it up. IN OUR OPINION SAATVA SHOULD BE THE MODEL FOR ALL AMERICAN COMPANIES.

We purchased 2 mattresses from Saatva and we were able to test them for 2 months, after which time we had to return them since we determined they did not suit our current needs. The representative understood our concerns and allowed a full refund to be initiated. Her handling of our situation was excellent and it actually made our day. She is to be complimented for her personal involvement and courteous and professional handling. Extremely customer service friendly, unheard of nowadays in many businesses.

This the the second mattress and foundation set I have purchased and like my first experience ordering, my second experience was just as rewarding. The salesman, Nick, was extremely knowledgeable, considerate and thorough throughout the order process. He was diligent in getting all my pertinent info accurate and worked with me to attain the delivery date I required. Overall, a great pleasure doing business with Saatva.

Saatva makes everything very easy to research online - from instructions and education, supporting articles and reviews, and even their industry sites providing excellent reviews, it was all very user friendly. Oh, did I mention they have 24/7/365 online shopping support? Not sure why I was awake at 4:30 AM in the morning but someone responded to my online questions within 15 seconds. The only unfortunate part is there is no showroom to try out the firmness of the mattress types but they do offer exchanges or refunds minus the $99 shipping fee.

The day our mattress was delivered, the delivery guys well one of them was absolutely rude and hateful! Did not set my mattress up but expected a tip! Rushed stating he had to leave and demanding I sign his phone for the delivery. I did not get to look at the mattress until my husband and I went to set it up ourselves and found it was duct taped all over! Of course I was worried something was wrong since it was presented that way. I checked it and took pictures of the condition it was left then called the customer service center as soon as I seen all the duct tape and disgust I felt with the delivery! Customer service was wonderful, understanding, very professional! Felt she took care of the issue immediately. Speaks volumes when you're upset and they take care of the issue immediately! Great Company!!

A Saatva Representative called to follow up on an email I sent Saatva regarding a sagging problem on the Luxury Firm mattress we purchased in June 2016. The representative who handled the transaction was very professional and friendly and assured me a new mattress would be shipped to us for a minimal charge of $269. Service and warranty is excellent.

Randomly found web site for Saatva late at night. Reviewed product information and liked what I read. Was in the market for a new mattress. The many reviews convinced me to make the purchase. Website was easy to use to make the purchase. However, the one event that cinched my decision that I had made the right one was a contact with Customer Service at 11:30 p.m.. I had made a mistake on my email address when ordering. Called Customer Service, they claim to be open 24 hours, and sure enough they were. The lady I spoke was very responsive to my request and took care of it promptly. I believe a company's integrity is best represented by its Customer Service and in my opinion Saatva is a very substantial company.

The Saatva website and more specifically the Zenhaven latex mattress department is very informative and the chat service adds to the information one will have if never before dealt with an online mattress manufacturer. The 24/7 phone access is great as well. The online reviews of many of the online mattress manufacturers are helpful as well. Any time I call the Saatva company I get more and more confident in dealing with this type of purchase online. Their customer service is second to none.

The Saatva company has the best customer service. I bought a mattress from them and for some reasons need to return it. They are so easy to talk to and did not make me feel so stressed by returning it. The process of returning is easy and fast. The conversation is friendly and delight. The refund is quick. No issue with the company personally as the customer service was very good. However, the mattress was awful and only gave me back issues I've never had before. I tried to stick it out and break in the mattress. It only continued to get worse and is the most uncomfortable and hardest mattress I have ever slept on. Even though I had ordered the plush it was not soft in the least. Felt like a board was placed inside with some fluff on it. Not comfortable in the least. I really wish it could have worked out as it sounded like such a great mattress.

Been planning on purchasing a new mattress for a while. Did a lot of research and almost purchased a very expensive name brand for over $3500. But—I find reading consumer reviews helps to make better decisions! The name brand I was going to purchase had several claims of “sagging” in less than 3 years and no help from the manufacturer. I then researched Saatva. Wow! Reviews of the great customer services sold me! Currently waiting on my new King Sized Luxury Firm! Great communication and follow up on my purchase so far. Easy to purchase your new mattress and foundation on their website. Even have no interest financing for 6 months. Can’t wait for my new bedding!

My wife and I needed to replace a 10-year-old mattress. I spent two weeks researching the many choices available, watching dozens of YouTube reviews, checking out online consumer reviews and manufacturers’ websites. We wanted a Deluxe Innerspring mattress that would be comfortable for both a side sleeper and back sleeper. A number of reviews said the Saatva was an excellent choice for couples. We also wanted white glove delivery and removal of the old mattress, which Saatva included in the price. Speaking of price, it was cheaper than most luxury mattresses out there. We chose Saatva Queen Size 11.5” Luxury Firm. It was delivered and set up on schedule courteously and professionally. We have been enjoying our amazing new mattress for three weeks, and could not be happier with our purchase!

I found the Saatva website very easy to navigate, very informative and pricing was very clear and easy to find. I had the opportunity to chat online with a customer service person, Frank, who was quick to respond and answered my question very clearly. I placed an order for a mattress and have received updates on confirming my order, processing my order and soon I’ll shall hear about scheduling a free white glove delivery that includes free removal of my old mattress and box spring. We have just ordered our second Saatva mattress, so I already know of the comfort and affordability that a Saatva mattress offers. Ordering the mattress is totally easy. For one thing, the choices are limited so it is easy to decide on the right style. Often, there are so many choices with a purchase of something that the whole process becomes overwhelming. Saatva provides the right choices— 3 levels of firmness and only 2 heights to choose from. We ordered the luxury firm Queen sized mattress with foundation as we read reviews that said that the mattress is very comfortable with the Saatva foundation underneath.
Of course, many people rave over the comfort and ease of putting the mattress directly on top of a platform bed frame. Tom made the whole process very easy when I called the customer service phone number. I also used the chat function which was helpful. I really appreciate the way Saatva keeps in touch with delivery timing and also how they do a white glove set up and also remove the old mattress for you. Invaluable!

After much research and reading reviews I decided to go with the Luxury firm Saatva mattress. The first few nights were an adjustment but overall I liked the mattress. It felt firm and cozy at the same time. Every day now I regret my purchase because the mattress sags in the middle after only six months of sleeping on it. When I make my bed in the morning you can see the impression marks in the mattress. It’s frustrating because you spend your hard earned money on something you think will last and it already looks and feels 20 years old. I would warn buyers to beware because they make the mattress sound all wonderful on the website but I believe it’s not top quality. When my husband lays down we roll into one another during the night and I feel like I have to keep pulling myself up out of the middle of the bed all night. Super disappointed.

The customer service by phone, email, and chat was outstanding! Exchanging was a breeze. The mattress was exactly as advertised and I could not be happier. I ordered two twin sized beds/foundations and tried them out for several months. One of the twin beds needed to be exchanged to a full size mattress. The process was quick and easy. I received the new mattress within 15 days and they picked up the twin mattress for the return.

I was skeptical about ordering a mattress over the internet due to past experiences with foam mattresses that came in boxes or were rolled up and either didn't expand, didn't last, or the company went out of business within a couple years of our purchase. I had also had poor experiences over the years with coil mattresses that were either too firm or too soft. We even slept on futons. We kept the last foam mattress and placed a topper on it to avoid having to spend a lot of money to be disappointed again.
The problem was that I have arthritis and was waking up in the night and morning with hip, knee and back pain that was getting intolerable. I have arthritis in my shoulders as well and have had neck surgery. It seemed that I was always rolling into a crevasse and if my husband rolled towards me, we sank to the middle of the mattress. I literally had to climb out of the bed. I was taking anti inflammatory medications more than I wanted to and feared going to bed because of the way I'd feel when I woke up.
I did a lot of research on various beds. I visited the bed stores. I looked at warranties. I tried a bed at a local bed store that was a "hybrid" coil and foam mattress. I liked it, but there was a poor warranty on it and if it was not to my liking a month down the road, the store would not have given me my money back, just store credit for expensive beds I didn't like. I chose Saatva at that point. I read a lot of reviews and was hearing experiences from people who had similar physical issues to mine and how pleased they were with their mattress. I decided to take the plunge.
I bought the 14 1/2" Luxury Firm mattress. I cannot tell anyone enough, I am completely, I mean 100% satisfied with the fit for us. After only about 3 nights on this bed, my knee, hip and back pain were gone. I have cut back on the anti inflammatory medication and I wake up feeling refreshed and smiling. It's like a miracle for me. I have to be on my feet all day long and I'm not limping around any more. Even my husband who wasn't quite sure we needed a new bed because he doesn't tend to have the arthritic problems that I do is very happy with it. The delivery was great, the crew was in and out in about 10 minutes. They took our old mattress, which in itself is fabulous because they are a real problem to get rid of otherwise. If you are on the fence, just go for it. You can always exchange for another type if it doesn't fit your needs or get your money back. I hope everyone who buys a Saatva has as great of an experience as we have.

Can’t find better — their mattresses are superb! Comfortable beyond compare, and you can enjoy them for many years, when you buy a mattress you have up to four months to try it and return it if you want to try a different one. I did exactly that, I returned one of those that I purchased after almost 4 months of use. They gladly and happily took it back and sent me a new one without question without any difficulties.

We had to change mattresses and Saatva representatives worked with us until we were satisfied and sleeping well. Saatva even sent us a free mattress topper to make the mattress softer after already exchanging or mattress to another model. Their delivery personnel were professional and respectful and customer service was great every time I called.

We purchased a king size mattress, loved it but had an issue with indents 3 years after purchasing and their warranty is amazing! Totally problem solved and they are sending out a new mattress for no charge!!!! Everyone that I have recommended loves their mattresses and have had no problems!!!! (They are delivering it and bringing it up to 2nd floor as well for no charge!!!) Would recommend this company anytime!!!! Thank you!!!

I was conducting searches, and reviews for a new mattress purchase. This company bum rushes you if you have questions and ask them in the chat. I think the reps are really immature, and centered on making the sales only. However I contacted the company and was immediately contacted back. He was super professional, offered an apology, and told me the way around checking your finance rates would be to apply, and then cancel. I'm just not willing to go through with that. But his name was Kenneth and he did very well.

If you aren't happy... Customer service goes over and beyond to make you satisfied and happy. I wasn't fully satisfied with the feel of mattress. They extended my trial to 7 months and sent me an adjustment on their dime. Really awesome.

Buying and purchasing the mattress online was an easy experience. The mattress arrived on time. However it is very uncomfortable. I ordered the Plush mattress and it is very hard. My last mattress was like a cloud compared to this mattress. I had to sleep in my spare bedroom. I tried to contact the company to return it and I've gotten no reply. This is very disappointing as I spent $1,500 on this mattress.

I was saddened by my experience with the Saatva Luxury Mattress company. We purchased a mattress and the lineal base after a considerable amount of time researching third party websites, reviewing the Saatva website itself, and then speaking to a representative. After the purchase you wait a few weeks, when your bed is ready they have a third party company (whom they contract with) reach out to schedule delivery of your bed. Everything was going smoothly until this occurred.
On the day of delivery, the third party delivery team was unable to get the lineal base up the stairs of our house. They told my husband that they could leave the mattress with us, remove our old mattress, and then we could contact Saatva to request a split lineal base that would work for our stairs. My husband asked if this would involve any further commitment from us, and the delivery person stated that it would be covered and fine.
Immediately after the delivery I contacted the Saatva customer service team to request the split lineal base. The representative told me that they did have this product and could send it our way... for another $1000. When I expressed frustration at this, the representative responded in kind and transferred me to his manager. The manager, Ashley, was very pleasant and nice, but unfortunately she had to perform her job as directed by the company and its policies. This is where I finally can state that this company, in general, deserves a poor rating.
Even with the acknowledgement that as customers we did nothing wrong, and that there had been a misstatement by the delivery team, and that Saatva should work on a better process whereby they provide adequate and proactive information to customers about the delivery process, Saatva believed we as customers should be made accountable and put in the middle. I understand that they have a contract with their delivery people, that should include indemnification in the event human error occurs. Rather than viewing it this way, they failed to stand behind the promise of customer service excellence that they claim to have and sought to have us pay for the damage caused.
I will freely admit that they reduced the amount of the frame from $1000, but not significantly, and only after a great amount of time in discussion (when I finally shared I was an attorney and understood consumer rights). Ultimately, while it may have been easier from a convenience standpoint to just pay the extra money we chose to return everything and go with a local mattress company. I did not want to have any 10 year purchase from a company that does not stand behind its product at the outset. The happy ending is that my local company was actually just as low, if not even lower than Saatva (unlike the claims made on the website) and their delivery people are familiar with how area houses are constructed and have no problems delivering the lineal base to the second floor of our home!

Immediately after learning of Julie's situation, where her base would not fit up her stairs, we diligently worked to please her. We offered her a significant discount on our specialty product, going clearly above & beyond our friendly policies.
Julie decided she would proceed with a return instead, we immediately processed her return. She was issued a full refund of every nickel she gave us.
This is an unfortunate situation we wish would have ended differently. We truly wish Julie the best on her mattress search.

So I am now very happy to write an update to my review of the Saatva Mattress and my experience. I must admit that the quickness and sincereness of the response from Saatva took me by surprise. They assured me that they were very sorry for my experience and just wanted details so that they could use this event to review their own procedures and contractors. I am VERY satisfied with the response from Saatva which was accomplished in a very personal yet professional manner, and I did not feel like I needed to ‘explain’ myself. Kristel E was the responsible party for my complaint and she did an outstanding job. Updated to four stars not five because I am still waiting to see if the mattress is any more comfortable after the ‘break-in’ period. For those reading I ordered the ‘plush soft’ level mattress which had the softest rating.

I will try to briefly break down my experience with Saatva and its services and products in separate areas. 1. Research and hypes. First on-line mattress for me. They get an A for marketing (not surprising). Buying experience was easy and quick (also not surprising). I decided to try something new in the mattress buying space with an online purchase instead of actually testing the mattress.
2. 'White Glove Delivery' = Not as expected. I had no chance to pick a date or time nor respond to my 'automated' delivery notice very late on a Friday for a Monday delivery between 2 - 4 pm. In fact I had several deliveries coming that week and didn't even know it was the mattress, as the automated message made no mention of such. So I dramatically rearranged my schedule to make the delivery window. On Monday at 12:30 pm I get a phone call from a delivery guy saying they would be there in 10 minutes with a mattress! (Not even close to the 2-4 window and I didn't expect a mattress). Needless to say I actually had to have a neighbor go into my house, strip my bed, and be ready for the 2 minute dump and chunk delivery 'experience'. Mortifying to say the least.
3. Saatva follow-up to purchase experience.... = crickets, nothing, not even an e-mail asking how they did. Poor customer support. 4. Mattress = so far, meh. Not awful and certainly not up to the hype. I am currently disappointed in its performance based on the research I did. Not painful, but no better than any other. Overall they've got the slick sales pitch and ease of sale down pat. Good job. Delivery D-, Mattress C. Now I may have to try the 100 night guarantee.... Wish me luck, people!

I’m very disappointed in this mattress. I purchased medium-firm because I need back support for my herniated disks. This is like sleeping on a waterbed. I have no support and every move my partner makes I can feel on my side. I can actually hear the springs bouncing under me as I move around. My back pain has gotten worse. I feel I am stuck with it now as it was expensive and didn’t return it in time to take advantage of the warranty, but I will be looking elsewhere for a mattress in the future.

Before I placed my online order with Saatva, I had a ton of questions. Buying my first mattress in many years is somewhat stressful, but the customer service from Saatva had been amazing! The reps on the website chat and on the telephone are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and seem vested in the company and customers' experience. Due to the fact that I need my new mattress delivered on a specific date to coincide with my move, I sent an email to Saatva to check in the progress of the product and delivery. Ordering and processing is very easy to do. Everything has been clear and precise. The only issue we had was to choose which firmness of the three comfort levels available on Saatva mattresses. I'm patiently waiting. The memory foam bed I currently have is hurting me. I wake up sore. I know the ratings are great. Just wish they send the products quicker. It's been 5 days and still have to wait until it's shipped then have to wait 9 to 18 days to receive the mattress and box spring. I will give another rating once I have had the bed a few months but it's like I'm suffering and I'm regretting paying now.

Easy interface with the company. Great sleep from day one. What's not to like? I spent over a year studying the mattress industry, and found many good choices, but few that stayed that way. Now I have. I expect to get 12 to 15 years from this mattress. All choices with that longevity were many times the price.

I discovered the Saatva brand while researching our next mattress purchase. The website is well laid out and provides the kind of information I was seeking. After deciding what I wanted, there was one little snag. It appears to be in the steps involved in making selections for a purchase. We decided to get the Lineal Adjustable Bed in a split king. The website first asks you to select your mattress type and size. This is where things got very confusing. Were we to order the king mattress or 2 twin XLs? I was pretty sure the 2 twins...so I selected the twin XL size.
Next I was asked if I wanted the Lineal Adjustable base, which I selected in King. The order summary showed 1 Twin XL mattress and 1 King Adjustable base... There was nowhere to select the quantity of the mattress! After calling the customer service number, a very polite representative could not help me order online, but was happy to take my order over the phone. I wasn’t quite ready to commit until I researched one other mattress company, so I declined the phone order.
After researching the other company, I decided on Saatva and went back to the website to figure out how to place my order. After trying a few things, I discovered that I needed to skip the mattress size selection, and move to the Lineal Adjustable base option first. Once I did that, a new box displayed asking if I wanted the mattress synced or split. Upon selecting split, it automatically ordered 2 twin XLs. Perhaps if the steps were: mattress type, then base/foundation, frame, and lastly size...it would have been a smooth experience. Seems like a simple issue, but wasted about 30 minutes of my time and created a little confusion and frustration in the buying experience. I’m looking forward to receiving my new bed!

I purchased a Saatva Mattress December 2016. Order# **. Was very excited as I have a bad back and it was recommended for a bad back. However was not very long before there was a a marked indentation on my side of the bed. I am 158lbs. At first I read that this was "normal" however over the years this has worsened to the extent of it being a sag on my side of the bed of 11/2. I emailed Saatva and they immediately called me. They said they would "repair" the mattress for a transportation fee of $200. Or replace it for 30% of the cost of a new one. I said it's ridiculous that I would have to pay that the mattress is just over 2 years old. They replied with "If they had to pay transport for those mattresses they would be out of business." So wondering how many of their mattresses need repairing after just 2 years of use? Also when I sleep on other beds when I am out of town my back aches less!!

Two years ago, after some research, I bought a Luxury Firm Cal-King mattress from Saatva. It has been a terrific mattress & I sleep great! The delivery was quick with installation & take-away of the old mattress. We recently needed another one in a queen size & didn't even consider another brand. After I made my initial purchase, I received a call to confirm my order. During that conversation, I mentioned that I LOVE memory foam. The person I was talking to (I think he was a vice president of the company) asked me why I had bought the latex foam then. He offered to have a salesperson call and talk to me about my decision. I went back and reviewed all of the information on the three mattresses offered and ended up buying the Saatva which combines springs and memory foam. The reviews said it most nearly resembles the mattresses at high end hotels (which sounds wonderful to me) and provides relief for back pain, etc. I also figured, that, if I decide there isn't enough memory foam, I can purchase a memory foam topper. (Best of two worlds?)
My point here is that the company talked me out of their more expensive item. How often does that happen? It was the opposite of hard sale!!! Everyone I have talked to has been very nice and very informative. Today when I called with some questions about the surge protector and registration for the warranty on the adjustable bed, the person went out of her way to check her information and explain it to me clearly. When we got off the phone, her parting wishes were unusually gracious and sincere sounding! So far my experiences with Saatva have been extremely positive. I can't wait to actually get the bed next week!!

We bought a king size luxury firm Saatva Mattress 6 years ago. We have been sorry we bought this mattress ever since and we are now looking to replace it. We are two retirees of light weight (145 lbs) each and require 6-8 hrs. of sleep every night. The mattress was only comfortable for the first two months. Then it sagged even though the mattress lays on a solid wood platform. The lesson that we learned from buying sight unseen is to not do that again.

I am 66 years old. I've been around the block a couple of times. In all those years I've had experiences from horrible to wonderful, but the folks at Saatva have raised the customer service bar above anything I've experienced before. The fact that their product is superb aside, their service is even better, if that is even possible. After my delivery, I thought that the delivery people had scratched my hardwood floor. When I called Saatva to let them know, they didn't even flinch. They said, "Get it fixed and send us the bill." No hassle, no paperwork, no opening up a new service request, no anything except generous helpfulness.
As it turned out, my floor installer looked at the scratch and said he could fix it for free in a few minutes, and he did so, without charge. (Floor One is another wonderful company). When I called Saatva to tell them, they said "Don't have your floor guy work for free. Send us a bill." Needless to say, I didn't. As a self-employed person, I have always strived to be a great resource for my customers, and I so appreciate other businesses who feel the same way. In fact, tomorrow I'm buying another mattress from them for my special needs sister. That's my "thank you" to Saatva. They have the best product, a competitive price and the best service, it's as simple as that.

I debated over mattresses for a full year. I read Consumer Reports and tried out different brands. Based on my research I recommended this mattress to my sister and she purchased it first. She gave it a great review for back support, comfort and no chemicals. I bought mine afterwards and I love it. The very first night my lower back pain was much improved and there was NO new mattress smell. After lumbar fusion surgery we purchased two twin XL mattresses and the linear frame. We both love our new set up. After a few months of usage, I noticed a small indentation in both mattresses, same spot, I contacted the company by email and within 5 minutes of hitting send, I received a phone call from Carl. He explained this wasn’t normal or the standard for Saatva mattresses and they would send out new mattresses post haste. How 'bout that for customer service! I was highly impressed with the level of customer service I received from Saatva for my bed purchase. (And I have 10+ years experience in customer service.) I had attempted to place my order for a Loom and Leaf mattress and adjustable bed online with my debit card. However, the total for the transaction was too high so my bank wouldn't allow it to go through. My bank told me they had made a note and to wait an hour before trying the transaction again to give the system time to update.
About 5 minutes after I hung up with the bank, my phone rang and when I answered it was Saatva - Loom and Leaf! I guy named RJ (or AJ) told me that they'd seen my attempts to place the order and wanted to know if there was anything they could do to help! I explained the situation and RJ said he would save my open order and all pertinent information and when the hour was up, just call back and he'll place the order for me so I don't have to enter everything in again! Wow! So I called back at the appropriate time and got Eric who stated that RJ was on break but would be happy to help. He processed my order and all is well! Excellent customer service by these two Representatives and kudos to Saatva for providing such a pleasant and worry free experience!

The Bad: Do not forgo a free return for the "White Glove" delivery. It should be called "Dirty Boots" delivery. Two men came to my home looking like they rolled out of a bar, with boots filled with ice, snow, and mud. They stomped all over my home and refused to move my existing mattress into my guest room. I am 63 years old and it was quite obvious I couldn't do it alone. I even had $30 to tip them for their efforts.
The jury is still out on the extra firm mattress. I have had it for 5 days, and my yoga practice has really improved, it really seems to help with alignment. Although, it also has been giving me little aches in the neck and shoulder area. Perhaps the pains will go away as I adjust. But if they don't go away, I will have to pay $149 for a return, if I don't like it, because I thought the "White Glove" delivery was going to save me the hassle of unboxing and rearranging my current mattress configuration. All the other luxury mattresses do free returns and deliveries.

I honestly will never buy a mattress from another manufacturer EVER again. I have had my mattress almost 5 years and it when I chatted about an simple warranty issue, they replaced the whole thing for little $285... Small fraction of the original price. Not only did they send me a brand new mattress, they let me keep the old one. The entire transaction took less than 10 minutes. They are truly blazing a customer service trail for all to emulate.

Just ordered Saatva mattress so I can't review that yet but I do want to mention the incredible customer service I received so far: The day after placing my order, I realized I had two points of concern that I wanted assistance with. Really doesn't matter what they are specifically for the point of this review. I contacted "Ashley" in customer service and she said she would handle both points and gave me a timeline for doing so. We all hear similar so-called commitments from customer service agents and, for good reasons, are skeptical concerning the follow-through. Ashley held to her time commitments and handled both as she said she would! Even gave me her direct line for any future concerns! If the product is as good as Saatva's customer care, I'm in for a great consumer experience; something that seems exceedingly rare these days!

I've been thinking about getting a good mattress for a few years now. Been very disappointed with all the new mattress companies coming out, all offering foam this and foam that. Call me old school, but I am not sleeping on some foam gel mattress. There's something inherently wrong with the whole idea. Fairly for a while here, I've known that all the truly great beds are coil spring. I picked up on the fact that SAATVA was a very well rated, and priced coil spring mattress. My current bed seems to have like a permanent "valley" in it where I lay every night. As it continued to get worse, I got fed up and looked up SAATVA's website and last night placed an order. I liked the way they seemed to do business, liked the product so here we go... They say I'll get the bed in two weeks, so hope that goes as smooth as the ordering process has been. I bought the king size luxury firm Saatva mattress 17 months ago for $1,537.00 total. I have had nothing but problems since. At first the problems stemmed from the mattress being way too firm. So, as per the other reviewers have stated, Saatva sends me a mattress topper. It helps slightly... but it was a nuisance as it slipped on the mattress... even with the corner elastic on the topper. I went back and forth with trading the luxury firm in for the plush, but I was concerned it would be too soft per their website. Saatva was more than willing to exchange the bed, for the $99 delivery fee. Well, as tempting as it was to throw another $100.00 bucks at this problem, I kept the luxury firm hoping it would become more comfortable during the break-in period.
According the the customer service rep I spoke to, the mattress topper isn't intended for long term usage, only during the first few weeks to assist in the break-in period. So, fast forward to a year later. The mattress sinks in where me and my husband each sleep. We have a nice mound in the middle of the bed that we sometimes fight over in order to not sink into the crevices on each side. I haven't slept through the night in months due to having to toss and turn and prop pillows around me or blankets in order to not feel like I am leaning forward or backwards (side sleeper).
Most mornings I can barely walk after waking. I have never experienced such back pain in my entire life. My shoulders, neck all ache. I walk like I am a 90 year old woman when I get out of bed in the morning. I believed all the reviews... I wish I hadn't. I feel that there is no way that there aren't more people that are disappointed with their beds than the reviews lead you to believe. I call hogwash. The bed looks good... It feels soft to the touch... but good grief, I don't know what the problem is, but it's not as quality as Saatva wants you to believe. I am so extremely disappointed that I listened to the dishonesty and WASTED SO MUCH MONEY AND CAUSED MYSELF SO MUCH PAIN! I would NEVER EVER recommend this bed to anyone.

First we just ordered the mattress. Before it was delivered, we decided to get the box springs as well. Called the company and had no problem adding the box springs to our order. When everything was delivered, we felt like the bed was too tall. We had ordered the large box springs (8.75) and the thick mattress. Called the company to exchange out the box springs for the smaller set (4.75) and had no problems. Best customer service from a company that I've ever experienced. For the last 3 or 4 months I had gone to bed with my right leg hurting if I turned over on either side to sleep. After getting this new Saatva mattress I've not experienced any pair in my leg no matter which way I turn to sleep. My wife said it's the best sleep she has had too! We ordered a luxury firm mattress from Saatva three weeks ago. We love the mattress but due to past surgery it was a little firm on my shoulders. I waited three weeks for breaking in the mattress. After several attempts to find a luxurious, comfortable mattress, I finally found one online that sounds perfect! I was immediately able to chat online with a customer representative willing to answer all my questions about the mattresses and their different types of comfort. I was also presented with a phone number that I found a LIVE person on the phone without pushing buttons. This alone was very impressive. I had almost given up on sincere good customer service, until tonight. I couldn’t be happier about the service I received.

I ordered a mattress on Sunday and it was the easiest order I ever made. I put my name and address and that was it. I have 6 months to pay for it with no interest. You can also take it out for a year with low (9%) interest. I can't believe no questions. I did research on mattresses because I have awful back and leg pain from ruptured disks in my lower back. This is the best mattress I have found (it's in the top 10) and the price is so reasonable I can't believe it. I can't wait till it comes.

We first heard of Saatva from a friend. My wife asked her friends for suggestions for a new bed and we got several suggestions including Saatva. My nephew has a bad back and he loves his Sleep Number bed, so I was leaning in that direction already, but in deference to my wife, I started looking online at the mattresses her friends suggested. Although I had never heard of Saatva before, I was surprised when it kept appearing on sites dedicated to mattress comparisons.
In particular, I filled out a rather lengthy survey on sleeplikethedead.com and was shocked when Saatva was the number one recommendation based on my questionnaire responses. It was at that point that I first visited the Saatva site, and I was impressed right away. The emphasis on quality products and the marketing approach that keeps costs to a minimum seemed to make sense. It was also here that I first found the lineal adjustable bed. It looked amazing. I searched for reviews on YouTube and was impressed that they were virtually all very positive. Still, I had Sleep Number in the back of my mind.
Finally, we made the trek to the local Sleep Number store. I knew they were expensive, but we are both experiencing back, hip and shoulder pain, so it seemed like an investment might be in order. Once we got there, I have to say I was disappointed. The adjustable nature of the beds is definitely cool, but the memory foam toppers (the sales associate slipped once and called them that, then quickly corrected himself to say 'comfort layer') just wasn't comfortable to me. I've had memory foam toppers before and I don't like how they suck you into them so you have to struggle to roll over.
We tried a couple of the beds and then my wife asked about prices. Never one to pull punches, she asked the sales associate why their beds were so much more than the Saatva beds. Being non-confrontational by nature, I was a little embarrassed, but the response was telling. First, he said he had never heard of them. So when she rephrased asking why Sleep Number beds are so expensive, he said, "Well, they are high-quality beds. And you are paying for the name." I added, "They have to pay for this store, too."
We then went back to the Saatva website. The site is clear and easy to maneuver. Every question I had, I found an answer to. Yes, it would be nice to actually lie on the bed before ordering it, but at the same time, I honestly don't know that lying on a bed for five minutes is a real good indication of how it will work over a whole night, or a month of nights. The 120-night trial will tell. If it isn't right, the $99 it will cost to send it back will be worth it.
I have to say, that the lineal adjustable frame has be really excited. I watched tons of reviews of many different adjustable beds, and in most everyone I watched of another frame, the reviewers mentioned something that they wished it had, and in almost every case, the lineal had it. I can't wait to get the actual bed in place.

Normally I feel like in any given day I waste a good portion of it dealing with the mundane trials and tribulations that come with being alive but the experience I have had dealing with Saatva and their customer service team has made this day rock. I purchased a Zenhaven Queen Mattress for close to $2000 a year and a half ago. There is just no way to be comfortable on this mattress. It began giving me back pain within months but this was outside their 4 month warranty so I have no recourse. Stuck with a lousy and expensive mattress.

Did a lot of research before purchasing on non-sponsored independent reviews. Saatva came up on them all as a good buy. Yes there are others with longer warranties BUT good luck with them if you have an issue. Purchasing online was very easy, struggled to decide on Med firm or firm but settled on firm (fingers crossed)...and am now waiting on delivery. Won’t miss the Tempur-Pedic - second one that has a hump in the middle - never again! Looking forward to the Saatva! Will keep you posted!

Our first time experience of purchasing a mattress set online w/o trying it out beforehand and including a 90 day trial period, I had little to lose and decided to order the highest depth of both mattress and box springs hoping it would meet our needs. I would never buy a car w/o trying it out first, so I had this mindset going in; it was a big change for me to handle buying in this manner and am glad that did not deter my decision to buy a Saatva Mattress.
I cannot say enough good about this mattress set or the Saatva people. A guarantee if you don't like the set is a full return of product minus a delivery charge, so I wouldn't be taking a great loss and yet would have a 90 day trial period to confirm how the mattress was holding up and providing us with everything it stated online. Stores don't offer that much time to decide; it's an instore buy, plus charges for delivery are additional.
Our first night's sleep was so comfortable and relaxing immediately conforming to our body that guaranteed a sleep without pain or discomfort and awaking in the morning, we felt refreshed and ready to meet the day although I really didn't want to leave the bed and desired to stay in longer; it was so comfortable. With bad backs, we needed relief and this Saatva Mattess provided that and more.
The Saatva people were very easy to contact; never a problem that couldn't be solved asap and made good on their word. They honestly aim to please each and every customer without hesitation and make certain you're fully satisfied with a Saatva purchase. I learned some mattresses with quality have fewer springs used than the Saatva. That's a quantity factor besides quality, pricing and guarantee that led me to purchase a Saatva mattress set. I also was able to have the box springs returned for the lesser inch height due to my difficulty in getting into bed easily as it was too high (30") from floor for me. So, exchanges are in progress and Saatva is maintaining the same professional manner at keeping their word.
We will not lose quality and comfort already experiencing by making this slight exchange and it will still have the same 15 year guarantee of wear. Pleasing their customers with satisfaction guarantee and quality is "the name of their game" and I'm happy to be the recipient of such wonderful Saatva service from purchase, to exchange and delivery. I'd not hesitate to buy from again and will definitely recommend Saatva to others. After paying the invoice moments later, it occurred to me that the total price with tax had not been reduced. That is a very poor selling tactic. I would have purchased anyway to try the mattress. I had a VERY minor issue with both my mattress and boxspring within the last few weeks of owning my mattress. When I called Saatva and explained that I recently started having minor issues with either my mattress and/or box spring they told me, "No worries, we'll send you a new set." No questions asked. I hung up the phone after picking up my jaw off the ground, I called several people and told them the great customer service experience I had with the company. I've dealt with a lot of customer service companies in my lifetime, but this takes the cake on the best.
Can we also talk about the mattress for a minute? I suffer from really bad back pain and upon doing a lot of research, this is by far the most comfortable bed I've slept on. I have owned a Tempur-Pedic bed in the past and although it was comfortable, it was super warm and took forever to get used to. Saatva's bed is a lot more comfortable immediately.

I purchased the Saatva 11.5" mattress for my adjustable bed. I have arthritis and a lot of back pain. Almost from the first night I slept on it, I woke up and got out of bed with a lot less pain and stiffness. It was wonderful. This is the BEST purchase my husband and I have ever made! Each and every day when we get out of bed we are refreshed and renewed. I did a lot of research online and it almost got even more confusing. Ten researchers would give ten different answers as to "which Mattress is the best". So, after seeing some great reviews about Saatva Mattresses I went by my "gut" and ordered the 14.5" Queen Luxury Firm from them. We had a S. Optima that we bought from one of the huge Sleep Shops for almost $900.00 only 5.2 years ago and the Mattress was "shot". You could tell where we slept and one could see the "holes" we laid in. (I weigh 200 lb. and my Wife a lot less.) We woke up every morning with shoulder and hip aches.
The Saatva arrived exactly 7 days later, was installed and the old one, thank God, was removed. A flawless and pleasing experience. This review is after our very first time sleeping on it and we LOVED it. Soft and snugly... but not too soft, just Ahhh. We woke up refreshed and almost painless. I guess we need to get used to the newness of it all but I'm sure that in a couple of days it will even be better. I feel I certainly made the right decision to purchase this Mattress. Yes, it costs a bit more but you know what they say... "You get what you pay for". I will update as to how the Mattress works after every year to be fair and honest about comparisons. I know most Mattresses are good when they're new so time will tell, but I'm confident this one will be great for many years to come.

I suffered with, at times, debilitating sciatica that radiated into both knees and feet limiting my ability to walk up or down stairs. I could not go from a sitting position to standing without assistance. I spent 3 times more on chiropractic care and gimmicks promising pain relief in 6 months than the cost of the mattress. After sleeping on my luxury firm for 2 nights, literally my whole life has changed. I'm walking up and down stairs with very little pain. I’ve been researching mattresses for a year, Saatva reviews have helped me decide to give them my business. As unnerving as buying a mattress online is, Teresa made the process very easy. Buying locally, didn’t guarantee satisfaction and comfort, so fingers crossed this is going to be awesome! Our current mattress is 14 yrs old, with permanent indentations in the pillowtop. We’ve been pleased with our Cal King Beautyrest, checked out similar replacements with no guarantee it would feel the same. But the Cal King in Saatva was a great value, so with helpful reviews from others, we’re looking forward to delivery, with the comforting knowledge that if we aren’t satisfied, we’re not stuck with an uncomfortable bed.

I have no comment on the mattresses as I have not received them yet. However, the delivery company has scheduled two separate delivery dates and times. Both of which I have stayed home, broken down my existing bed - twice. And twice, the delivery did not happen. Nor did I receive any notification that they were not coming. I have no clue as to when or if I will ever receive my purchase. I have contacted Saatva customer care and am awaiting resolution. I hope I am "over the top" pleased with the mattress but this process has been unpleasant thus far. I hope I will NOT be contacted again by the delivery service until they have the merchandise and are really coming to my home.

I researched mattresses for about four months and posted on FB asking people what they slept on. Saavta was my first choice and ended up being what I purchased. Customer service was fantastic online and I was thrilled when the online chat person said I could order through them or go online or call. There was absolutely no pressure. So I took another two weeks to make up my mind. We got our bed I believe seven days after ordering. We were given a delivery time of 8 am - 12 pm and at approximately 7:35 I got a call saying they would be there within 40 minutes. They showed up right at 8 am and were done 45 minutes later. That was after taking apart and hauling out my CA King sleep number. Hands down, this is the best company I have ever dealt with! Thank you!

The ordering process was wonderful; the selection - although limited - had what I thought we needed. Based on the recommendation of a questionnaire and a discussion with the manufacturer, we chose the "relaxed firm" - intermediate - level of mattress - one step down from the most firm mattress. After a year, it was a clear disappointment. It does get quite warm, the edges sag, and the support is noticeably decreasing. Although we understood we were ordering a level that wasn't going to be rock-hard, the firmness leans more toward soft - and has been getting softer with wear. Beyond the increasing reduction in firmness, the mattress has a comfortable, luxurious feel, but we would prefer a mattress with better sleep support. It was an expensive lesson.

My wife and I had a 15+ year relationship with our highly recommended Posturepedic king sized bed. Now after 35+ years of marriage we became convinced it was time to shop for a new mattress. Dreading the shopping experience going from store to store trying this and that style of bed (laying around the huge selections of all variations and styles at one to two minutes a piece), we soon found ourselves listening to the aggressive sales pitches for the most affordable mattress we could settle on.
My husband decided there must be a better way. He pulled up Google and searched for the best replacement mattress for our situation. Seconds later he was online with SAATVA CO and after sharing with me your business model and mattress offerings we decided to chat with a rep about our needs. Convinced that sleeping on our mattress choice for 120 days risk free made more sense than struggling to force a decision in a crowded storefront along with a sale-induced salesperson made up our minds; we wanted to try out our SAATVA CO mattress in our own home risk-free for thousands of dollars less than the storefront debacle. Looking forward to receiving our mattress in just days and enjoying our new mattress until we’re satisfied (not the salesperson).

The mattress - Customer Service Antics. For starters, if you want an idea of how snarky customer service is, just look at their responses to negative reviews here. We made the mistake of purchasing two Lux Firm 14.5" thick mattresses from Saatva. The mattress and reasons why people are complaining about comfort: Hard as a rock best describes this mattress and we have owned Stearns and Foster firm beds in the past! Combine this with the fact that the mattress is built with a convex shape on top (curve or mound) both side to side and end to end (head to toe) and you'll understand why people are complaining about sore backs/stiffness they've never had with other beds and, why they feel like they are rolling off the bed.
You're basically sleeping on a bed that has a hilltop that causes your body to arc unnaturally when you sleep. It only took us 3 days before we became sore and I started investigating why this was happening to us and others. As others have mentioned there is a clear chemical smell consistent with either petroleum products or mold prevention chemicals being applied. I believe it's the former but this is conjecture. I just find it amusing that they tout eco materials. The smell did dissipate after a week or so with airing out the room and to be fair I've owned beds with stronger chemical smells than theirs however, if you're sensitive to such things beware. And don't believe the hype, this mattress in NO WAY is comparable to a Stearns and Foster in quality, build or comfort.
As a former customer I can assure you that Stearns and Foster is a far better product in all categories, and Saatva will never likely attain the level of a Stearns based on past history. Don't buy into the 5 star reviews they tout, I'm sure you understand why. Customer Service: They will respond immediately to any concerns, even calling you however, as other reviewers noted what you get is an insincere and rude tone and lies, oh lots-o-lies. If you want to get an idea of what I'm saying look at their website and promise that you can return your mattress within 120 days with no penalty. Then read the fine print and realize that there is a $100 shipping penalty and if you want to exchange there's another $100 dollar shipping penalty.
We won't even go into the eco material hype. I could detail the nightmare experience we've had with these knuckleheads but no one wants to read a dissertation online, just be advised that they are aggressive about curbing negative reviews with controlling, aggressive and half truth responses. You also cannot leave review on their site after you've purchased their bed unless they invite you to do so but you can still find them online. Read those bad reviews and you'll start seeing a common thread that resonates concerning this company egregious customer service antics and poorly built product line. Do yourself a favor and go buy a mattress at the store, your back will thank you as well as your wallet in the long run. :)
We also take issue with his assertion that we somehow have control over independent review sites such as this one. We don’t. The reason negative reviews are few and far between is a testament to the quality of our premium luxury products and the old school manner in which we take care our customers. As you can well understand, we will vigilantly protect our unprecedented pristine reputation.
Should Robert decide to return his mattresses within his 120 in home time trial, we will process it immediately, thank him for having given us a try, and wish him nothing but the best in his mattress search.

I emailed your support and received a call the next day from a very personable agent. He was looking at the pictures I sent as we talked on the phone. I was amazed the support I received from the agent and how pleasurable it was to discuss my problem. He did not hesitate to fulfill the warranty on the product and also suggested what I could do to protect the new mattress coming to me. I enjoyed the mattress and was glad they were replacing it. What a company!!

I am in my late 60’s and never imagined I would buy a mattress online but after visiting several stores and getting very frustrated with trying to compare prices I decided to look online. The Saatva website was easy to read. Pricing is very straightforward- no hidden costs. I read multiple reviews and decided that the return policy made this worth trying. Delivery was quick (20 minutes from start to finish and they removed an old mattress and moved another mattress). All packaging was taken away. The mattress is excellent! Firm edges that help when sitting on the side of the bed. Have been sleeping on the mattress for about 30 days and love it. Quality of the product is excellent- just as described. I have recommended to many friends and family.

The purchase was easy - Saatva helps pick what sizes you want and it is spot on. The delivery was slower than the quoted 9-18 days to be set up in my home - it took 21 days exactly from order to delivery. So, not exact, but acceptable. The edge-to-edge is the best part! I chose the Luxury Firm from Saatva's website showing that it is the one preferred by over 80% of customers. I find it a little too firm, but still comfortable. If I had it to do over again, I'd go with the Plush Soft. Same with my partner. I guess we're not in that 80%! Choose wisely. I am happy that we have chosen a mattress that is eco-friendly and organic materials!

Bought this mattress almost two years ago. Very comfy at first. It began to sag. Warranty states if it sags over an inch they will replace the mattress. We measured and it was 1 inch plus 1/8. Called the company and it was so quick. They are sending us out a new mattress and we don't even pay for shipping. Last mattress that we bought from a different company had to send out a person to measure. This company had no questions... Just did it! Highly, highly recommend. Also, don't get the high or tall mattress... It is giant!

I, like probably most people, have never ordered a bed/mattress online before. Yesterday, I ordered two Saatva Twin XL Mattresses to replace the two "**". Our adjustable bed is a P&L and the bases are in good shape, therefore just the mattresses need to be replaced. After many hours of research, I kept coming back to the Saatva website and convinced that it rated #1 with information and ease of ordering. The chat window was always open and utilized to ask numerous questions. Excellent response and plenty of information to help in the final decision. As a Veteran, Saatva provides a $50 discount which is provided with a phone call to the order desk. The lady on the other end could not have been nicer and reiterated the process and willing to answer any questions. So, if the mattress and delivery are anything like the ordering process, we will be very happy. Will review the delivery and mattresses as soon as we get a couple of nights of sleep.

I ordered a Saatva Mattress because I know three people who have one. All three purchased the luxury model. I ordered the plush mattress because I have issues with my back and I am mostly a side sleeper. After reading about the product, I noticed the website recommends the plush model for side sleepers. When I think of plush, I think of the mattress enveloping me and being cozy in my bed. I found the plush mattress to be firm. It doesn't have the plush feeling I was expecting. However, with back issues, I want proper support from my mattress. I thought about returning the mattress but really want to give it a chance. I've only had it for a week.
I went to Bed Bath and Beyond and bought a 2.5" orthopedic mattress pad. It is a game changer and with that addition, I feel comfortable in my bed. I think the firmness of the plush mattress is only an issue for me because I have Fibromyalgia and my hips often have a burning sensation from pressure points. I think it is a good company and the purchase and delivery was excellent; no issues whatsoever. One of the three people I know with the luxury mattress also bought an orthopedic topper as she too found the mattress a bit too firm for her liking.

Ordering was extremely quick and easy. I researched numerous brands before choosing this one. I liked that the reviews were excellent, delivery was free, the warranty was good and, most importantly, it is made in the USA. The company did a great job of communicating with me throughout the process. I received email notifications when the order was placed, and then when the mattress was in production. I received a call verifying the order and letting me know that I would be getting another call to schedule delivery, and that is exactly what happened.
My lineal bed and new mattress was delivered today! The delivery was exactly as promised. They called to let me know they were on the way and the time expected to arrive. They were very professional and did a great job setting everything up and cleaning up after themselves. It was nice not having to worry about what to do with the old mattress because they handled that too! So far I am very pleased and cannot wait to sleep on my new mattress tonight!

We did a lot of research on mattresses that worked with an adjustable base. Decision made, the online ordering process was easy, and the free delivery and setup service was just what we were looking for. The fact that the California King mattress was not compatible with a split base was a little confusing. I used the chat link to answer my questions about this, and received an almost immediate response. The staff was both knowledgeable and personable! Great job!

I was going to buy another mattress that was readily available. I went online to check the consumer satisfaction and found that Saatva was less expensive while rated of equal if not superior quality. The more I looked into this, the more convinced I was that I wanted to purchase the Saatva mattress. Although my purchase was time sensitive, when I chatted with a representative, I was again convinced that the mattress was worth the wait and she explored every option that would ensure it was expedited and received at the earliest possible date. After reading so many positive reviews we were hopeful about loving this new plush 11.5 mattress from Saatva. We read the reviews about the luxury firm being the most popular but then read how some people felt it was too firm so we went with the plush which has 2 more inches of foam. The plush is not a typical plush feel, we would say more of a luxury firm feel. The quality of the mattress is great and the company is amazing to work with. Really one of the best customer services to deal with so giving the mattress a try might be worth it. Sadly for us after a month of sleeping on it, we were not comfortable. The mattress felt too firm for us and we had sore backs.

We purchased our mattress 3/7/16. The bed now has significant indents where we sleep and is now very uncomfortable. We wanted to purchase an American made product and saw your mattress reviews. To say we are disappointed is an understatement. I am now forced to buy a new mattress. Additionally the weight of the mattress is terrible and finding bedding is difficult. It has torn on the right side from lifting it to put on sheets. If there was a way to get a partial refund I would do it. I do not want a replacement. Sorry to say I am terribly disappointed in your mattress. $1000+ totally wasted.

To be honest, I have purchased many mattresses over my lifetime and even buy at the store it was difficult to choose one. So purchasing this mattress online is really difficult. Although your site did walk me through it very well and was easy to navigate. I know I could have called but I think possibly the facts would have been the same, that being the biggest— not having tried it. I haven't purchased a bed in years, so came to Saatva very naive and inexperienced. I chose to "chat" with the nicest, most helpful woman I've ever experienced in retail. Of course there were options from which to choose and she explained them all in such detail, but not using much time so within a few minutes I knew exactly which bed/mattress to purchase and the price. I'd reviewed prices and types of bed in the papers beforehand so was aware of what was out there. Boy, did I get a great deal! They'll deliver, set-up, and remove the old mattresses all for a minimum fee (removal is FREE!) I would refer anyone to this company - although I just purchased the firm mattress and foundation, they of course sell the frames for all sizes (and mattresses) as well.

Bought our first Saatva mattress a few years ago. Very happy with the mattress, but had some concerns after a few years about one particular area of the mattress. Customer service was out of this world in a positive way. I emailed on a Monday morning and had a reply within 10 minutes. I was provided a phone number and reached a live person on the first try. With no argument or hesitation, they agreed to provide a replacement mattress with the more firm option at 70% off the price we paid (which was actually lower than the current price by a small amount).
Within five days our replacement mattress was delivered by two friendly delivery people, Rob and Allen. They removed our old mattress at our request and delivered the new one. We are so happy with our Saatva experience both two years ago and with the service we received last week. This company stands by their product and their service is beyond what I would expect from any other company. Highly recommend.

I have tried the Luxury firm but found it to be too firm (for me) so they sent me a free topper. It didn't help and in fact made my back feel worse. I exchanged it for the plush soft (had to pay $100 for delivery). Took their advise and immediately put the topper on it. I never fell asleep and in fact was in so much pain I was nauseated. After taking the topper off the plush, the intense pain went away but I honestly found the bed to be the same as the luxury firm I returned. It was not softer at all to me. Cannot get comfortable and hurts my back. I definitely did not get the "AHHH" moment so many others are describing when they lay on it! I also did not care for the motion transfer which this bed has a lot of. My husband put a pair of socks on sitting on the bed while I was sleeping and I felt every bit of it, to the point.
I thought he was trying to tick me off but he was not. If you want a company that is responsive and tries hard to make you happy, you won't find a better company than Saatva as far as mattresses go BUT if you want a truly comfortable bed then I would think twice about the $1000 investment. The only good thing is you can return it! I'm not sure if they can choose the reviews they post on their site but I really find it hard to believe that this many people think this mattress is a "gem". I am trying the Dreamcloud next then I'm done. I will go to a store if it doesn't work for me.

My mattress was delivered on time and an hour early. I was amaze how the delivery people was courteous by taking my air mattress out of the room and replacing it with my new mattress. I would recommend anyone to the Saatva Mattress, it's so big I have to do jumping jack and stand on my tip toes to get on top. It's very comfortable.
