I have a very strange, old house and the mattress will go in the attic bedroom. The door to the bedroom is only 5' tall, but it's a big room and I'm replacing a king size bed. I wasn't sure if I could "taco" the mattress just to get it into the room (like the movers must have 10 years ago) or if I should order 2 XL twins. After consulting the online chat, we determined the 2 twins would be best so as to preserve the coils/integrity of the mattress. Ordering on the Saatva site is super easy and they've already followed up with a call and an email. I have 3 friends who have ordered beds from Saatva and all are very pleased. I'm sure I will be too and I'm looking forward to my delivery!

After doing some research I ordered the Saatva Luxury Firm mattress since my 18+ year old mattress was due for replacement. The delivery was perfect, arrived exactly when they said they would. Now about my new bed. I love it. Great mattress. Very comfy. I would say, that's really luxury mattress. It's not too firm and not too soft. Exactly what I was looking for. I think I made the right decision to go with Saatva.

I was pleased with the product. The quality seems excellent. The persons I spoke with at Saatva were helpful and friendly. The only negative was the people who delivered my mattress. They were a little rough on the edges and were more interested in hurrying to get the mattress in place and leave than anything else. They were not professional in appearance and they did not come when they said they would.

Ordering our mattress was a wonderful experience. We have nothing but great things to say about this company. However, the delivery company you are using in the area of Madison, Wi has one delivery day and it's on a Tuesday. My husband and I both work on Tuesday. I called them to see if they could give me either a morning or afternoon time and they can't. They'll call us on Monday to give us a better idea. Therefore, one of us has to take a full day off to have a mattress delivered. That added to the cost of our mattress.

Ordering was convenient until I chose the PayPal option for payment. I don't know if the issue is with your site, but it didn't appear to validate email accounts that don't have conventional proper nouns. It repeatedly told me I had an invalid account or formatting. Otherwise, experience has been good so far.

Overall I am pretty happy with the Saatva experience. The website was easy to use, the product arrived quickly and was in excellent condition, and the mattress is great. The only issue I have is with the delivery process. The delivery team was great, but the delivery was not done as originally scheduled. The phone call with a customer service lady the day prior indicated that I was the first delivery of the day, at 11:30. The delivery did not occur until 1:30. As a result, I missed my kid's baseball game, and was sad as I really needed to be there. I tried to contact the delivery service at around 12 when I was getting worried, to check and get a more exact delivery time, but the service was closed. As a result I had nobody to contact and was stuck waiting at home for an unknown period of time.

I am so impressed with Customer Service and the ordering process. Gloria took the order and Kanella did the order confirmation and follow-up today. The website clearly explains the ordering process and delivery procedure. It is comforting to know I can call at any time with a question or concern. I don't expect any problem when the mattress arrives, but Gloria assured me there is never a restocking charge. At this point in the ordering process I am 110% pleased I chose Saatva.

I haven't yet received my mattress but between my online research, Saatva's chat feature and the ordering system, choosing Saatva and selecting which mattress was right for us very easy. The mattress will save us $1500 from a comparable mattress we found in-store - this makes us VERY happy! I like that Saatva only has 3 options. More than that makes shopping difficult.

I watched an interview with your CEO and agreed with many of his points expressed about how consumers are tempted to buy discounted mattresses. After one week of sleeping on our new (luxury firm) Cal King mattress, we find it to be very comfortable, and we wake up feeling much happier than before -- the mattress definitely deserves a 5-star rating. Regarding the delivery, their timing was good and the driver and his assistant were VERY patient and pleasant. BUT we had indicated in our order and reiterated on the phone that ours is a awkward circular driveway that could NOT handle a very large truck. Unfortunately they came in a big moving truck-sized vehicle. It took great patience on my husband's part and the driver's to negotiate that turn without damaging the landscaping and sprinkler system; if our trees had not been freshly trimmed, they would have been severely damaged. We see from other reviews that the delivery systems you have in place are probably your greatest weakness -- an online company can't afford that!

Your delivery company delivered the mattress in fine condition, but they wrecked my walls and light fixture trying to move it in and removing the old. They chipped the wall picture frame moulding, scraped the paint on 4 separate walls, all different colors, left black hand prints on another wall and bent my stairwell chandelier. My wife was home at the time and did not notice the extensive damage. 1 or even 2 little wall scratches are expected, but not 4 walls, plus dirty hand prints and my light fixture. I personally moved my last mattress in 2 years ago, without any damage. This is a case of just clear carelessness on their part. Please advise.

I have also sent you an email. The mattress arrived today during the expected delivery window. The delivery men refused to remove their street shoes before entering the apartment. I asked them to wear plastic over their shoes. This they did. When they took the mattress out of the plastic and put it on our bed frame, I immediately noticed several dirty marks on the side of the mattress. This is unacceptable in a brand new mattress. I look forward to hearing from you as to whether you intend to send a new clean mattress or whether you will be sending someone to remove the soiling from this mattress. I have already emailed you a photograph of the dirty marks. Thank you.

After doing some research and reading reviews and assessing what's important to us in a company and in a product we ordered our Saatva king mattress set. Two days later we got a phone call from a representative from the company to confirm and double check our order in detail. We were told where it will ship from and given information via email to contact Saatva if we should have any further questions. We are looking forward to getting this bed and hoping it is everything it is purported to be. As I said - so far - pleased and excited. Customer service is top notch. The mattress is comfortable & customer service is great. But from the day it was delivered, we could see the mattress was cut incorrectly in manufacturing. One side is slanted. Box spring cover ripped away from the screws. I need a replacement set that is better made.

The shipping company called Sunday 2/8/16 to say delivery would be the following day between 10:00 - 2:00PM. At 0800 there was a knock on our door for the delivery. No prior call. My wife was home by herself and they woke her up. I had to come home from work to accept the delivery as she was not physically able to. A call in advance would have been nice so we could have been prepared. The driver told me as he was only 5 minutes out he decided not to call. This left a bad taste for us with this delivery service.

The foundation is not fully described on your website as is the mattress. All you show is a cosmetic picture. I needed structural info to know if my queen frame could support 2 twin xl and no one on the phone could describe the structure but they told me it would work if I added center support. They also told me I could refuse the foundations at no return ship charge if they don't work.

I have owned a Saatva mattress for a little over a week now, and it has been comfortable thus far. We ordered the luxury firm, which so far caters to both my comfort level (firm) and my wife's (medium-firm). Initially my wife found it to be firmer than expected, given her chronic back pain, but the cushioning has helped acclimate her to this level of support. It will likely take more time for us to see how well the mattress suits us, but it's been a thumbs up so far. The delivery was prompt and very efficient. The delivery people were conscientious about keeping our carpets clean and easily agreed to wear the plastic booties we offered to cover their snow-covered boots. They waited until we had confirmed the mattress was in good shape before leaving. This was probably one of the easiest online orders and deliveries we've made.

Just a heads up. I was not notified before delivery. The delivery guys couldn't have been nicer. I picked up condoms, wrappers, lube, etc. in front of complete strangers. I didn't feel warm and fuzzy about it. I was put in a very embarrassing situation with two members of my community and don't appreciate it. I wish it didn't happen. I would ask that my delivery fee be refunded if it doesn't hurt the delivery team, they were just as horrified.

Since you are not able to test out the mattress in person, I relied on the Chat Support team to guide my model selection. After stating I was a side sleeper with neck and back issues, the luxury firm was recommended. When I questioned that recommendation they eventually changed to Plush because that's what they thought I wanted to hear. So at the end of the day I chose to go with their original recommendation and order the luxury firm. Unfortunately it is no better than my previous mattress, so when I called in to get it replaced Customer Service person after hearing that I am a side sleeper with neck and back issues said "Oh yeah. You should have gotten a plush, that is what I have and it's great, not sure why they said to get a luxury..."

My experience thus far has been great. Everyone has been helpful and informative and I like the goals of your company.

While I found the ordering experience with SAATVA wonderful, my delivery experience was atrocious. Not only was the company 8 hours late, the delivery team was rude. They had no respect for my home, left numerous dents and marks on my walls & railings. When I asked one gentleman to please be careful of my railing/walls he just looked at me like I was crazy and then made me sign a damage form clearing them from anything that might have happened or might still be damaged. Needless to say, it really soured my Saatva experience.

The ordering and delivery of the mattress and box springs was easy and was carried out exactly as described on the website. We have slept well on the mattress for four nights and like it very much. The real test lies ahead with passing time. I hope to be as enthusiastic in five years as I am today.

Took delivery of my new mattress and box spring today. I'm extremely disappointed to discover that the black 'fabric' covering on the box spring was ripped away leaving holes in the fabric. It appears that the staples and fabric are of low quality. The staples look like those used in a household Swingline stapler and appear quite lightweight for the application. Please advise.

I ordered on 1-14 and the mattress will not be delivered until 2-5. A total of 22 days. Thought it would be a lot quicker.

I just ordered my mattress on 1/22/16 so I have not slept on it yet or had it delivered but so far everything has been great. I have my order confirmation and I received a very nice voicemail two days after purchase confirming everything, so everything is so far so good. Much better than my experiences going into a mattress store!

Extremely disappointed that when I called to order my beds the salesman did not help me to understand that it would be taller than a normal bed. When it came I couldn't even get in it and when talking to the delivery men they indicated it happens often. Not only is it frustrating that I need to wait for new box springs but I am being charged another hundred dollars for delivery for what I feel is negligence on your part. I know the literature said to measure, but what on earth would make a person think they would have to measure the height!!! Not good service people. So sad.

Customer service OUTSTANDING... The delivery man wanted us to sign a waiver if they damaged anything because it was a tight squeeze. We did not want to. Customer service was promptly taking care of problem, although we could not come to quick resolution so we cancelled the foundation since that was the issue.

So far we have been totally satisfied with the dealings of Saatva. We ordered our bed on Friday late afternoon and they told us it would be 48 hrs and someone would contact us. Today is Sunday and we just received a call from the company regarding our order! We are totally impressed and will also write a review once we get our bed! The Customer Service is the best!!!

Customer service experience was fine, streamlined, and shipped fast. Delivery process was smooth - no issues. But the product?! The first thing I noticed was no edge support - I slid right off the side of the bed like I was sitting on a slide. Not to jump to conclusions, we decided to sleep on it and give it a chance. I noticed a strong chemical smell that grew worse over time. In fact, the entire house smelled like a hospital room by the next day. I sleep under a mountain of covers since I like to be toasty at night. I woke up during the night covered in sweat with the same amount of covers that worked great on my old mattress. My husband hated it for this fact alone - it doesn't breathe at all and he was overly hot throughout the night and could only sleep with a sheet. Nonetheless, we wanted to like this product so tried it night two. Worse odor, same heat issue, worse sleep.

Hi, my experiences have been great so far. However if I did not get sufficient information from my inquiries to the sale team on how to pick the comfort level (between luxury firm and firm). I even tried to use other famous mattresses out for comparison but still couldn't get an answer (or at least a suggestion).

Purchased frame, foundation and mattress. Web site was helpful in determining our needs easy but on re-thinking we decided to go with the smaller size foundation. Changing this was very simple with a call to customer service. In researching several brands all have pros and cons. We determined that going to a store and trying the mattresses would not tell us anything so we went with an online purchase. Saatva seemed to have the best customer service and return policy and had many great reviews. We'll see how it goes after several weeks sleeping on it.

I haven't gotten my mattress yet, but I will say the buying experience has been excellent. The website is well done and getting a phone call is amazing. So far I like the wonderfully service and friendly helpful team members but I cannot sleep on your mattress but a couple hours before it wakes me up as your luxury firm is too firm, it's has no give at all to it, it feels more like a hard slab. Firm should not feel hard but this one does. I called at 1:30 AM this morning and spoke with Eric. He was very friendly, helpful, courteous and is sending me the Plush Soft in a full size right away and no delivery charge. I ordered a queen size for my son before I had slept but a couple nights so maybe you could send both mattresses at a the same time and save you on 2 deliveries. Also on the luxury firm I am returning I put a brand new mattress cover on it straight out of the package so you should not discard it as that would be wasteful indeed. We contemplated on ordering the signature mattress but most of the reviews that we read online mentioned that after the break in period it got a little mushy. So we went with the firm and hopefully after the break in period the mattress will be exactly where it needs to be. We are keeping our fingers crossed. This was recommended by their customer service. We are waiting for the arrival of the mattress.

I received my wonderful Saatva Mattress this morning, and I am delighted with it! I have back problems and ordered the Firm Full-size. It is exactly what I had hoped for! It is firm and supportive without being hard. The entire purchase went without a hitch. I ordered online 9 days ago, and so it was faster than I expected. Saatva says 9 to 18 days, so I was really happy! Customer service is excellent. I received an email immediately after the order which promised a phone call within 72 hours. I got the phone call from a very pleasant representative who checked my order with me to make sure it was correct. I was also given a toll-free number to call if I had any questions. This Saatva mattress feels very much like the top of the line hotel mattress that I slept on recently. I will recommend this mattress to my friends! So far the order process has gone smoothly, we are just waiting for a delivery date. The only worry that we have is that most of the 4.9 star reviews seem to be based on this part of the service. We went into this after having bought 2 other mattresses over the last few years, the last was an expensive Stearns and Foster which turned out, within a short space of time, to be the most uncomfortable bed either of us had ever slept on. We will give this one a fair trial and report back after a few weeks...
