    The response time is terrific. I am anxious to receive our new bed and feel the luxury comfort that Saatva touts. I chose them because they are listed as one of the top ten mattress firms. I also liked their pricing. So far, so good.

    I just placed my order for a luxury firm mattress. So far so good as far as ordering process and quick acknowledgement of my order. Will provide my feedback on the mattress once I have received it and slept on it. My fingers and toes are crossed as I've tried many a mattress thus far without much luck. Please let this be the one!!

    We went online and order a mattress, then we realise we need the foundation also so we called up and talk to a live person that help us. They also helped us make sure we got the right firmest mattress, and was very helpful.

    Briefly, I had put a deposit down on a Stearns & Foster mattress but was not pleased with the thickness of the product, difficulty moving it to change sheets, etc. I explored a reasonably good product at Sleepy's for about $1,300 and then remembering the many ads for Saatva I'd seen in mags and newspapers, decided to check your company out. Independent online ratings were excellent and while concerned that there was no store to actually try the product out, I made three calls in turn to your agents - the first to explore the differences in the 3 differently named lines - the second to go further in deciding between the two firm products and the third to finalize a decision.

    Each agent was quite good, patient and informative. The best was Yasmin who really probed my needs and took extra time to be helpful. It was her intelligent counseling, friendly manner and guidance that allowed me to make this purchase without hesitation. As a former VP sales, I was impressed with the quality of your agents in general and Yasmin in particular. Few companies actually can provide this type of interaction. I look forward to using your product.

    Can't believe the difference a new foundation and platform made to the older mattress in our guest room. While I wait for new mattresses for our master bedroom, I've been using an old queen mattress on the floor. Horrible! Added the new Saatva foundation and platform and it's like a whole new bed. Totally worth it. The foundation is not just a box and, the metal platform is heavy and solid. I think an elephant could sleep on it! Can't wait for my new Saatva bed set to arrive for our master bedroom. This company and their service are the real deal. No regrets! Wouldn't hesitate to buy from them again!

    We purchased our first mattress 2 1/2 years ago. The customer service was great on our first purchase. The product is the best mattress we have ever slept on. Usually mattresses tend to sag in the middle and lose support almost immediately, not the case with Saatva. Our mattress developed a little noise when exiting the bed so we called their customer service to see if there was anything we could do to correct this. We were told to try a couple of things and to call them back.

    The mattress retained the noise so we called them back and to our surprise we were offered a repair or for very little money (shipping basically) a new mattress. I'm 66 years old and have dealt with a lot of businesses over time but no one has ever delivered such an outstanding service or product and backed their warranty with actions to this extent. If you want the best products and service this is where you need to shop... Excellent in every way. Thank you Saatva for such a wonderful experience.

    I bought a Saatva mattress, box spring and frame. My choice was influenced by the white glove delivery service. Upon arrival, the 'delivery team' asked if I could assist them in bringing up to the 5th floor. Then they asked if I had a screwdriver because they did not have any tools. I don't feel this qualifies as white glove delivery service.

    PRODUCT: Queen Luxury Firm, 140lb/side sleeper. ORDERING: Easy. DELIVERY: Delivery was confirmed only after I reached out for delivery details. Proceeded, mostly uneventful, no complaints. 6-WEEK TRIAL: Each night, I found the mattress (initially) quite comfortable but woke after a few hours with stiffness & back pain (mid range vs chronic lower) for duration of nights. I believe it is too firm or possibly the support area disagrees with me but some nights drove me to the guest room.

    After 4 weeks I was sent a topper: 1" of smooth foam covered in the same fabric as the bed. It provided minimal, yet insufficient, additional relief. Not my primary concern (but worth mentioning) I also noticed some heat retention causing me to search out new, cooler, spots on the mattress. I requested a return & was offered a discount to keep the mattress in a spare bedroom, refused.

    RETURN: My refund was processed as soon as the return was processed, minus the delivery fee ($99, plus tax). The bed was picked up as scheduled by the initial delivery company. WHAT'S NEXT: I am considering reordering a plush model because I feel it is a well-made, quality mattress. I asked Saatva if their reviews could be filtered/sorted to share customer experiences who have made this switch, why & what their outcomes were. I am also interested to know if the plush model receives more complaints about sleeping hot. Chat representative stated they are unable to filter/sort their own reviews. (I find this hard to believe.) Since each trial of a Saatva mattress, if unsuccessful, will cost you the delivery fee I must consider other mattress companies as well. Wish me luck.

    I actually wanted to buy the Zenhaven full mattress but after almost a week of not being able to make it thru the checkout process on either the Saatva or the Zenhaven site (the Zenhaven site got to the point where it would only show an error message when I tried to load it) I finally gave up and just bought the Saatva full mattress. The Amazon pay never did work right. I finally gave up and just used my credit card. So I can't speak for the product yet. (I have a friend that swears by the mattress) so I muddled thru. In Saatva's defense, I'm not very computer literate, but I've never had that much trouble trying to buy something online either.

    I have been looking to upgrade my Bed Size and Mattress for the past few months. I was looking for more support and less aches/pains from what my current Bed and Mattress provided. The couple of In-Store visits to the local Mattress/Big Box Stores left a lot to be desired, let alone the Sales Staff. I equate Mattress Sales akin to Used Car Sales. Not much knowledge and a lot of empty promises. However the experience with Saatva so far has been positive, the website is nice and the seller has not been pushy. So far a painless and informed purchase.

    I received notice when my order was received and also an order confirmation. I spoke with a rep who assured me I can get expedited shipping if needed. She also told me that if Lineal base did not fit I could refuse the order. My receipt was emailed to me. So far so good.

    Exactly what I wanted. Purchasing was easy, fast, clear and concise. We did not want to deal with the used car feeling of going to a commission type mattress store. We are giving our fairly new hybrid bed with adjustable frame to my daughter. She tried it out and like it and it helped her out since she is a runner and seemed to help her sometimes tight leg muscles. We were looking for a pillow top type mattress and liked the Saatva sales process. After reading reviews we are sold.

    In March 2018, we bought Saatva's King Size 14.5” Firm Mattress. It was delivered as expected. We have slept on that mattress now less than 4 months and it is already showing unevenness, making it hard to sleep. The quality of the mattress does not match what the Saatva Mattress preached. We requested the firm experience but the mattress received does not feel as "an initial plushness quickly followed by the firm support you desire" when we first lay down. A real disappointment, especially taking into consideration the price of the mattress!

    Well I have been researching mattresses over three months and it has been incredibly stressful and confusing and giving me anxiety. There are so many different types of mattresses and companies and most reviews were split so not helpful. I’ve been sleeping on a 18 yr old double pillow top mattress that’s been sunk in the middle for last five years and hurting my back and hips. I recently developed severe insomnia averaging 2-3 hours a night and that’s pushed me to purchase. While looking up luxury mattresses reviewed it for 2018, Saatva has the most outstanding reviews.

    I personally read nearly 100. Hearing stories I could relate to and people sharing their positive outcome from their purchases of this mattress is what ultimately got me to place my order finally. Also while on the website they have somebody contact you to offer instant message chatting if you have any questions while browsing their site. I explain to them I had a queen mattress I was getting rid of and would be purchasing a king and I had a question do I need to buy box springs or foundation or just use a platform.

    They said no need to buy box springs or foundation or platform would be fine. And even directed me to a few websites such as IKEA or Amazon to find one. I found a beautiful one on Amazon praying that it arrives before the bed. I am very excited about this purchase as I am continue to read more reviews on Instagram and other social media sites regarding this mattress. I just wish I didn’t have to wait three weeks to get it. So the purchasing process has been wonderful so far, they have stayed in touch with me by email daily, just waiting for a phone call or text message regarding delivery date and time. I will update my review after I’ve had a chance to sleep on it for 30 days or so. Very excited for the first night on it.

    Our experience has been nothing short of pathetic with them, and they appear to be flat out dishonest. We are sharing this experience online so that others are aware of how Saatva/Zenhaven operated in our situation. We purchased a Queen Zenhaven with 'white glove' delivery. The order process was easy, and we confirmed with a Saatva/Zenhaven rep before ordering that the mattress was 10 inches thick. "All of our mattresses are 10 inches thick." (NOT TRUE) On delivery day two genuinely filthy men from 'Garrett's Moving & Storage' showed up. They knocked a table with equipment over in our bedroom because they were in such a hurry, and left black stains on the handles of the mattress. (FACT.)

    The Zenhaven queen mattress that was delivered was only 9 inches thick and after two nights sleeping on it only 8.5 inches thick (FACT), and the topper layer was almost completely FLAT with no discernible filling at all (FACT). I called immediately the same day to let Saatva know about this issue (FACT), and we were offered one of three choices by the customer service rep that I spoke with: 1. We could either request a refund and keep the mattress, as our other mattress had been taken away. 2. They could send a new mattress if we were certain we liked it and/or 3. They could send a two inch topper to bring the height of the mattress up a bit.

    The new representative stated that she would 'put this in the notes' of our order so that if we called back another customer service rep would know what we had discussed as remedies. I told the rep that I would speak with my spouse about the thickness issue, and get back in touch with them on Monday. Two days later, on Sunday, I reached out to Saatva/Zenhaven online to discuss the issue again, and also told the new rep that the mattress was no different in support/comfort than the one we had prior to the Zenhaven (either side of it). But this time I received a different response from the Saatva rep that I spoke with, Candy. She was borderline rude and attempted to 'convert' us to a Saatva inner spring or memory foam mattress, both other models that Saatva sells. When I asked her to refer to the notes on my order she stated she could not find them. In disgust I told her that we wanted the mattress out of our house and a full refund.

    I then called back to inform another rep who answered that we wanted a different company to come back to our home to pick up the mattress, as "Garrett's Moving and Storage" would not be allowed back in our house due to the fact that they had been filthy, left stains on the mattress handles and knocked over furniture and equipment during their delivery. And we will now pay $99 (shipping cost) for the ignominy of being lied to about mattress thickness, lied to about options for a remedy, and insulted/devalued during both the 'white glove' delivery and 'return' process.

    My son purchased a mattress first and told me I would not find a better mattress for the price or an easier website to order one from. As a Mom who always knows more in life because of our experience I was out to prove him wrong. Well guess what? Haha I'm so thrilled with my purchase from Saatva. He got the luxury firm but because of my back I needed one a little firmer and I just can't wait to receive it. If you are in doubt trust me I have seen the mattress and none can compete with the price for the luxury. Thank you Saatva for no salespeople bothering me. Keep it simple yet give a supreme product as you are doing.

    I was disappointed in delivery. The delivery men had a hard time getting it upstairs in an older home. I was required to sign saying delivery was ok without them unwrapping it. Upon unwrapping, mattress had holes on the bottom, and was dirty. I would think that the black marks had to come from factory, since it was wrapped twice. The quality is great and the mattress is very comfortable. I should get a price decrease for the holes and the black marks.

    Thank you Saatva for your amazing customer service! Immediately upon placing an order I received an estimated delivery schedule; a confirmation of my order with information comparing the height of our mattress and foundation to other options; a text message of thanks, including the name and number of a specific person to contact if we had questions or problems.

    Within one week I received a call confirming the date and time of delivery. If I remember correctly I received a confirmation call from the delivery company the day before delivery. And then the morning of delivery I received a call from the driver letting me know they were 20 minutes away! The delivery men were kind, courteous, efficient and knowledgeable - and they were in and out (with our old mattress) in less than 30 minutes! I was sold on the company before I'd even received my mattress! We've only slept on our new mattress for about a week but it's been wonderful, and exactly what we were looking for. Thank you Saatva!

    So far one week tomorrow, I am enjoying this Saatva. I think I should have gotten the firmest one. At this point, it is better than my other one, no complaints there. But it is not as firm as I was hoping... How is this the best way to handle this... give it my time then let you know?     My King Luxury Firm mattress was delivered on August 9, 2016. The first year sleeping on the mattress was very comfortable but after that it began to sag where I needed the most support, right in the lumbar area. I tried sleeping on the other side (I’m the only one who sleeps in this bed and I weigh about 134 lbs). My husband and I turned the mattress around but again there was no support in the lumbar area. It seemed to sink right down. I removed the allergy cover and the mattress cover but that didn’t help. I looked under the bed to see if there might be a problem with the frame but there was not. I kept thinking it was too late to complain to Saatva but when my neighbor said she was thinking about getting a new mattress and asked me how I liked my Saatva mattress, I knew I had to call them to discuss this problem before I could fairly answer my neighbor.

    I called Saatva on August 3, 2018 and spoke to a customer service rep. but did not write down her name. She was very understanding and indicated the mattress must be defective and would be replaced as soon as possible at no charge to me. This experience with Saatva proves that their product is superior and that they will stand behind it and do everything possible to ensure they have a happy customer. I will gladly recommend Saatva products to my friends and neighbors.

    I ordered the 11.5 Luxury Firm Mattress Full as I wanted a spring coil mattress that was fairly firm. The price is very reasonable but it is one of the best mattresses I have ever slept on. I had a rotator cuff shoulder injury, which was made so much worse by my previous mattress. After a week on this, my shoulder pain has eased hugely and I am sleeping very well. I highly recommend. I had never purchased a mattress without trying before, so it felt like a risk-- but read all the long review articles on mattress websites to see if it's for you. If you want great full body support, without the slosh and sink of memory foam, yet a slightly soft padded top layer that eases your bones, this is for you!

    My wife and I have extensively researched purchasing a new mattress. We feel Saatva has the best mattress at the best price for our needs. The buying experience has been easy, from Saatva's website to their professional staff via phone calls (three). The first phone call was at around 11 pm one evening and the gentleman answered all my questions regarding the product (14.5" Luxury Firm Mattress & 4.75" Split Foundation). The next two phone calls were after I placed the order at the Saatva website, one call from me and then a return call from Saatva within a half hour. I needed to be sure of delivery scheduling due to various reasons and once again they answered all my questions to complete satisfaction. So far, so good!

    The representative who initially took my order for a new mattress did not include the removal of the old mattress. I called several days later to check on the status and had the correction made. I appreciate the last representative who was very understanding regarding the necessary delay in setting up delivery. She was compassionate and was supportive in resetting the delivery. I look forward to receiving my new mattress, its installation and removal of the old one.

    I had just hit "Send" on this initial review and got a call from Kristol E - their Dir of Nat'l Reviews. She promised to stay personally involved and has been true to her word which I appreciate. I reiterated how impressed I was with their initial order process and timely feedback but shared my disappointment in getting it shipped after being informed it had completed production. Having run a "build to order" manufacturing plant myself for 26 years, I informed her that I knew well that sometimes people make mistakes ... but from that point it's how they respond / take care of the customer... and after that, dig into the "what happened/ how do we prevent it from reoccurring. She agreed and took actions to return me to "happiness" and provided periodic updates and check in personally. I believe she "lit a fire" under their delivery partner who began contacting and reassuring me they would deliver by my "visitors coming today" date of 8/3. They did so.
    The mattress looks and feels great, appears to be very well made, was well packaged/protected. Unlike some comments I've seen about new mattresses - there is no detectable odor. My 4 stars would be 5 if not for the delay.

    Hopefully, all is well from this point forward. I will update on the comfort, durability, etc at a later date. Thank you Kristol for your follow through!

    Initially felt justified in paying more for mattress than any time before. Not so much now. Order was processed quickly... good info updates including a notice that the mattress completed production on 7/2 ... and their delivery partner/hub would contact us in 3 - 5 days. THAT WAS 11 DAYS AGO and still no call to arrange delivery! Called customer service yesterday 7/30 - seemed concerned and promised we'd hear back that day. Not so... although they did call back to say the delivery folks were apparently "gone for the day... will call you tomorrow". Consistent with the issue. NO CALL AGAIN TODAY. Called customer service again tonight - "we're working on it". Still no word on a deliver date.

    I saw an advertisement for Saatva, and phoned to find out more. The woman I spoke with, Mara, was so helpful and informed, I bought two mattresses on the spot. Mara explained that the cost could be kept down by not having a showroom. I usually want to try out a mattress before purchasing, but was reassured by her explanation of the mattress fitting my needs, along with the video, this was the right choice, and I could save myself endless visits to mattress stores. I needed delivery on a date that wasn't within their normal delivery in my area, but Samatha, another representative was able to make that date work for me. I can't wait to sleep on their mattress. I will write another review later.

    I haven't received mattress yet. Today I had a message from some woman who couldn't speak English very well and I couldn't understand anything except to call about my order delivery. This mattress is the only order I have so I called back and got some Logistics Co that wanted to know why I was calling. They were unprofessional and it was very confusing. Then they tell me they deliver on the one day I can't be home and I have to wait for a 4 HOUR WINDOW. So far, I am not impressed and have a bad feeling about this purchase.

    I had a very positive experience during the beginning of the purchase process but, sadly, there was a snag that was frustrating. Immediately after I placed the order, I asked if my delivery could be expedited. I was kindly assured it could be. I was told that I would receive the mattress on Thursday or Friday (July 5 or 6th) and that I would be called for delivery arrangements earlier in the week. On Tuesday (or Wednesday, I can't remember) I used the website chat to ask if the delivery was still on track. I was told in the chat that, yes, I would receive the mattress on Thursday. I was delighted, and thanked the woman I chatted with.

    On Thursday at around 4 pm I called SAATVA to ask if delivery would still happen that day (I'd waited all day) and was told that I must have misunderstood. I asked if the person could retrieve the chat (since it was online)--he did retrieve it and saw that, no, I had not misunderstood. I had been misinformed. He apologized and asked if I would like the number for the delivery partner. I took the number and called. I was told by the partner that the order hadn't been received until Tuesday afternoon and, therefore, I couldn't be scheduled for delivery until Monday.

    So... I am not unreasonable but I sure was disappointed. In this kind of situation in the future, I would recommend that a SAATVA customer service rep make the call to the delivery partner directly-- instead of putting it on the customer to do so. That felt like the brush off. It is my understanding that since the mattresses can only be purchased online, SAATVA promotes extraordinary customer service. This wasn't extraordinary service. I am hopeful that with the mattress delivery tomorrow, everything goes smoothly.

    I purchased this mattress specifically because I was told, by several Saatva associates, that it has no odor on arrival. This was not the case. I am extremely sensitive to smells, so I checked beforehand with about 6 different salespeople, who assured me I would have no problem. This mattress has the strongest odor, and after calling the company, I found out, after the fact, that they infuse essential oils into the cover, and the smell is overpowering. If you like the smell of essential oils, which are very strong, then I suppose this mattress would be ok for you. It certainly does not smell like memory foam, but the essential oils are very much a strong odor. I was also told, after the fact, that I could be smelling the glue in the mattress. I feel that should have been disclosed before I ordered.

    The customer service was very supportive before the mattress arrived, but not so much after. I have been given the company line about how the memory foam has no outgassing, which I believe, and that nothing is toxic in the mattress, which I also tend to believe. However, the issue for me, and anyone who is seriously sensitive to smells, and who asks ahead of time, is that we should be informed before the purchase so that we can make an educated decision. The wait time for this mattress is between 9 and 18 days of delivery, so I waited a very long time, in good faith, that this mattress would not have a smell.

    I'm very disappointed in the advertising of this product, and I felt compelled to write this review. Having said this, I do like the mattress itself, at least I think I do. I can only lie on it for a minute before being overwhelmed by the smell, but it seems like a very good quality mattress. I am following the advice of the associates from Saatva and letting it air out for 48 hours. If the smell doesn't go away, I will then have to make a decision whether or not to return it.

    Updated on 07/19/2018: I did return the mattress after a week of problems with the smell. When the mattress was removed from the house, there were 3 other people there in other rooms. They smelled the mattress throughout the house, the smell was so strong. It took 3 days with the windows open and fans running for the smell to fade, and 2 days after that, there is still a faint odor. For anyone with sensitivities to smells, this is not the mattress I would recommend.

    Order date 5/30/2018. Receive 6/8/2018. I requested a change because the day I receive my mattress I saw a difference between the mattress and the frame I call immediately and told them. The agent said, "Stay with the mattress and you will get the correct size." I said ok. Today 6/19/2018 I decide to call and ask them what they do with the return mattresses and they told me. I told the agent if I can get a deal with the one they will take and they said yes. I paid $1321.50 from my credit card. So the amount I paid before the exchange was $1858.55.

    So everything good when I get the other mattress. I get the mattress damages and I requested a change and at first they said no because I got a discount for the one I was supposed to exchange and I told them that was a deal that we made. So they offer $100.00 dollars off from $1858.55 and I said no. I call Klarna and told them what was going on, they told me they will call and see what they can do and I said ok.

    Saatva called and said, "Yes we will exchange the mattress for you." And I decided to return the mattress because they gave me a hard time. At the beginning of the conversation I was upset, crying and they had told me at the beginning NO like one hundred times in the phone. AFTER THAT AMOUNT OF MONEY not fear. A NEW MATTRESS IN THIS CONDITION NOT ACCEPTABLE AND ALL THE TIME...

    I don't generally purchase online, especially something as important as a mattress. I was leery, but after literally months of research and shopping, I couldn't find anything that came CLOSE to Saatva mattresses in quality or ratings (as well as other things that are important to me, like made in the USA, organic cover, coil on coil construction, eco company etc.).     Well so far so good. The Saatva website is terrific and the buying experience was flawless. At every point where you might have a question there is a link to the answer. Additionally before I got very far into the process a chat bubble popped up and Walt at Saatva was there to help. In fact he quickly and completely answered my question about delivery.     We bought this mattress after researching several different ones. We had one that was only four years old, but was already sagging. This one has memory foam on top, but has springs beneath that make for a wonderful nights sleep. The first week we had it, I just laid there in the morning thinking how wonderful it felt.     I have Multiple Sclerosis and need a very firm mattress. We were ready to order another iSeries Hybrid System by Serta. (Our 20 year old Tempur-Pedic was excellent - whomever bought them out has made them into disgusting giant soft marshmallows and the outgassing will asphyxiate you.) The Saatva Firm Mattress is built exactly like our iSeries but better: Very firm, excellent support, no huge goofy pillow top (the iSeries had no huge pillow top either), and cost approximately $1000 less than the Serta. $1000! We could not be happier. The product is fantastic. I’m not in misery in the mornings now. And I fervently hope Saatva doesn’t sell out to a big company.

    I ordered a Luxury Firm from SAATVA 16 months ago after having soft pillow top mattresses that my orthopedic dr said was messing with my neck. The first month it felt really firm, but then I got used to it and started sleeping through the night. I had also ordered the taller foundation with the thicker mattress - big mistake. Too tall for my dog to jump on the bed. The company laughed and ordered a smaller replacement for $100 (I am sure it is more now), came out exchanged the foundations, and put the mattress back so I make the bed. No additional delivery charge! Wow.

    We would recommend Saatva over any other brand. We had the best customer service we have ever had with a company. The Saatva mattress quality is great too. We originally ordered the Luxury firm but it was a bit to firm for us. Saatva replaced with the Plush soft. They were happy to replace and we quickly had our new mattress and they removed the one that was to firm. It is the most comfortable mattress we have ever had. We had bought a high end Beauty Rest from Mattress Firm just before we got our Saatva. Within 60 days in had collapsed in the center, and we paid almost $1000 more. It was terrible. Mattress Firm did not care and the manager of the store was rude. So we had them come get the mattress.

    I suffer from lower back pain and after some extensive research I settled on the Saatva luxury firm mattress. One the things that sold me was reading that they are the recommended mattress of both the Chiropractic and Orthopedic Associations of America. I was not disappointed. The first night on it was an improvement from my 10 yr old memory foam mattress which I don't miss at all. I will admit it is a little bit of an adjustment going back to an inner spring mattress after a firm memory foam mattress but I love it now. It is more comfortable than my memory foam ever was.     I received a call back the very next day from a representative from Saatva. They immediately gave me a heartfelt and sincere apology. They wanted to know what exactly happened and listened. They insisted that I receive compensation for the damage done to my picture frame and wall. Above and beyond, which is how companies should be with their customers. They ensured me I was amongst the small population that has encountered a terrible delivery experiences. I believe them and even give the delivery company the benefit of the doubt, although I never heard anything back from them. I couldn't be more happy with Saatva's customer service up to this point. The bed looks and feels like high-end quality, and day 3 my wife and I are both satisfied with the mattress and its comfort. Saatva is allowed to call themselves a "White glove company".     We've only had 2 nights of sleep on our new mattress. I can't review on it yet but the delivery was pretty much the worst delivery I've ever had. The company Saatva doesn't actually deliver the mattress. If you live in the NW, they outsource it to a company. Not going to mention the company because I already tried to inform them. It was almost comical how bad these guys were. They couldn't have been in more of a hurry. They never introduced themselves. Helped themselves to our bedroom by never asking what bed they were moving out. Bent/forced the 17 hundred dollar mattress around our hallway corner when there was a much easier option, by going into the office first then down the hallway, (moving stuff 101). While they were forcing the bed around the corner my wife shrieked loudly as they slammed into a picture frame which came apart, even bending both nails in the wall while leaving black marks on the wall that I'll need to paint.

    I was able to push the frame back together so willing to forgive and forget but it's technically broke. The apology was so lame. After we left we found a plate/picture we have mounted on the wall lying on our kitchen table. It's difficult to remove or install. It made absolutely no sense and all I can come up with is they removed it so they could lean the box frame against the wall. Why? I am not sure at all. So many places to store a box mattress for 2 minutes. You don't even need to lean it against a wall. It only makes sense if they were high. They slid our boxsprings down our wooden floors. They were wrapped in plastic still but so strange and lazy. They didn't wear booties or ask if they should remove their shoes. They took a picture of our bed after they put it together which was only weird because again it was our bedroom. I assume why he took it was for proof of some kind but a little heads up would be appreciated, otherwise it's just super creepy.

    So much more unusual stuff but my main points are given. My wife and I thought it was important to give others the heads up. I want nothing from this review but for the higher powers to know there is an issue with this kind of service. If I was the owner of either company I'd be embarrassed and I'd truly want to know. I tried reaching out to the delivery company to no avail. In the end it's on me and I should have told them to slow their roll. I was truly in disbelief and at a point early on just wanted them out of my house. I understand that a lot of delivery companies might be a little like this but you're not allowed to call it a "white glove delivery service".

    I have not yet taken delivery of the Mattress so I cannot rate the overall quality or comfort yet. If the mattress is only half as good as the ordering and customer service has been it will be the best decision I made on purchasing a mattress. I immediately responded and within a minute or two I received verification and was told that my mattress had started in production...     I made the mistake and didn't dig deep enough. They hide the bad reviews and now, after three mattress in less than a year, I'm stuck with a mattress that is lumpy and makes my wife and I sore. It's so bad I've been sleeping in the guest bedroom until I can save for a new mattress. I called today for the fourth time explaining my displeasure and was told they'll send me a free topper, but looking at the other reviews it I have zero confidence that will change things. It funny that they try to act like it's "your comfort issue" and the bed will break in. Shouldn't the bed be comfy from day one. I still have no idea how anyone that has owned this for three months could give it a positive review. I have never been this sore even when camping.

    I took for granted that I touch maybe every day, and that sleep is very important. I would have happily paid 4x for a better product after going through the hell I've faced with this mattress from poor sleep, scheduling exchanges, wife's pain, and waking up sore every day.     Haven't yet received the mattress, but during the purchase was dismayed to be charged sales tax on my online purchase. When I called the company, the very polite rep checked with her manager (supposedly) and said that they have to charge sales tax because they have manufacturing and distribution facilities in my state. Since there are no sales outlets in my state, and the company is based at the opposite end of the country, this sounds like total crap: just another way to screw the consumer and add to their bottom line. Nice. If this is actually a legitimate charge, it should be noted on the checkout page that 'consumers in the following states will be required to pay sales tax.'

    I bought the Saatva full-size 11.5" luxury firm mattress as my 17-year old mattress was giving me back pain after waking up in the morning. I bought the 11.5" instead of the thicker one because you can still use standard mattress cover and fitted sheets with it. The company was quick to respond to my inquiries and questions. From the time I ordered the mattress to when I received it took about 2 weeks. I am in Vancouver, Canada and there are two plants in Canada that make it. Mine was made in Calgary and shipped from there. I took advantage of their free mattress removal. They also remove the foundation as well, both for no charge. I called them up and they sent me out the firmer one in 5 days. I'm a big guy so I expect an impression in the mattress. I called to see what I could do (buy a topper or something) she said, No, not.     I purchased the Luxury Firm mattress and it came on time as promised. The mattress was hard as a brick. I initiated an online chat to inquire about it and they said the mattress takes a few weeks to break in. Maybe if I didn’t already have a mattress I need to be able to return in my return window time frame, I’d give this mattress a month or so to see if it breaks in, but I don’t have that amount of time to wait. A mattress should come ready as is. And so I called to request a return and they charge $99 to come pick it back up! What a scam.

    This mattress really felt like sleeping on a cardboard box. It did not feel plush at all. And what is sad is they offered me a free 2” foam topper to make it softer. You know your mattress is hard as a brick when the company offers you a free mattress topper to prevent you from doing a return. Never buy a mattress online! Lesson learned.

    I ordered a firm mattress because I need extra support, I have a bad back and sagging is my enemy.     I was hesitant about buying a mattress online, but there were so many good reviews for this company I decided to try it. They have a live person that you can ask (or not) questions to help you decide if this is the mattress you want. I decided on the firm because I have back issues. They kept me advised of the progress of my order and called when it was ready to be delivered. It comes with a 120 day, free, no questions asked, return policy. It took a total of 9 days to get the mattress. They also took my old mattress away at no charge. This is the best mattress I've ever had.     Just got off the phone with them. Again. More than a year after my purchase of a queen size mattress, the negative reviews and truth about their stellar reviews is finally surfacing... Turns out they've been paying money to remove negative reviews. They had the nerve to ask me to send photos of the sag in my 5th replacement bed. Unreal. They took the last one back for "inspection" because of my repeated back pain and sagging complaints. I asked about the results. They don’t have them, can’t share them. Every time I complain I’m told my experience is "waaay outside of the norm. Uncommon... Never seen a case like this before." What a crock. I can’t sleep, can barely walk and now they are trying to convince me I’m nuts. Learning that they willfully contrived their satisfaction scores by buying out negative adds is the most disgusting part of it all.

    They sent me a cheap pad for the first firm bed. Since then, I've tried a medium, plush, back to a firm... In every instance, (and in exactly 3 months), the cheap foam surface gives way to a horrific sag in the lumbar region. I bought their "Monster Frame" and box spring thinking my new ones must have been defective. I've spent hundreds of dollars for custom plywood boards and toppers... All in a desperate effort to be among the 99.9% of satisfied customers. That never existed. Shame on you Saatva. Fellow consumers, consider yourselves warned.

    I was about to go through the hideous experience of going to furniture store after bedroom store after furniture store to try to pick out a new bed. I still don't know how I got lucky enough to come across your webpage. I was especially interested in finding an online store I could do business with that provided white glove service for pickup and delivery. I'm now in the process of cleaning up and rearranging the bedroom prior to delivery of a new mattress and box spring. It's my hope is that my delivery will be scheduled for closer to 15 days in seven days. Originally read everything on the website, bookmark the page and thought I'd come back to it later. However, I knew my need for new bed wasn't going to get any better in a couple of days, so I decided to go all in and place the order yesterday morning.

    I would like to mention a couple things that I really enjoyed about the website: 1) the logical layout of the website may order a very simple, 2) one of the major reasons you received the order was that you offered a reduced size box spring. Although a pretty good sized older man, I'm just getting tired of having to kneel on to an oversize mattress in order to get into the bed every night. The reduction in overall height of the bed will be a great relief to me. Finally the reason I am writing this review is I don't think it was said to be negative to write something about something. As always 20 negative things you write reviews about in that case I'll be sitting on my computer day after day after day.     I was told that maybe purchasing a mattress from a online company would save me money, so I took on the journey. So far the experience has been good. I have been in several chat sessions, and reps have been very responsive to my questions. I have ordered a king size Luxury Firm, with foundation and frame. I continue to look for reviews on this mattress, and all in all they are good. I have definitely read some bad ones. I hope I am able to send a great review when all said and done. We remain optimistic with our choice of comfort. We are switching from queen sleeping to king sleeping. As we age we grow wider instead of longer, so no CalKing... lol.

    First let me say the customer service buying the mattress and any concerns I had were taken care of and excellent. I waited to do a review until we have used the Saatva for at least a year. It has been since September 2016, my wife and I are completely unhappy. For this style of mattress, it isn’t terrible. We find ourselves being rolled to the middle of the mattress and we’re average/normal size. The only way to have it feel like it did when we first bought it is to lay on the outer edge. I personally can’t sleep longer than 6-7 hours until my back can’t take anymore (zero back surgeries) and I have to get out of bed. For the price, it’s probably better than equal competition. Just didn’t work for us. What we learned is we like the spring style again and most likely be going to a hybrid style.

    I searched for an online company that could sell me a luxury mattress at a decent price. I did my homework and settled on Saatva. They are a "new" company, founded in 2007 I think. Everything that I could find on the internet about the company or their product was very positive. I live chatted with two different customer service reps. And still had a question when I was attempting to finish my purchase. I called and had a very respectful representative answer my question and offered to complete the purchase for me. Which I allowed her to do. So far, everything she said would happen, has. I have received two status emails from Saatva. And I look forward to the 120-day trial period to test the mattress. Who gives you a 120 day test period with free returns these days, unheard of. Unless you are very confident of your product. Stay tuned, I will keep you posted.

    I have not yet received my product but everything till this point was excellent. Easy to use website for ordering, live help if needed, everything you could ever want to know is available right on their site. Once order was placed I received an email confirmation immediately.     I have had the mattress for almost 2 years and am extremely disappointed. After less than a year we had a middle hump in the mattress and since you can not flip over it continues to worsen. I weigh 140 lbs and my wife 108 lbs. After not having any means to fix this problem, and now both of my shoulders have started having extreme discomfort and pain as I am a side sleeper.     When I decided to purchase a new mattress a week before Christmas online I was worried about how long delivery would take. The website explained they are manufactured as ordered and delivery would be 9 -18 days. They also offered a phone number to see if the order could be expedited. I spoke to Max and he explained the process and said if I placed the order he would make note of my requests for expedited delivery along with an afternoon delivery window and Max gave me his direct phone #. I placed the order online and called Max back. He confirmed everything and said he would do his best. This was Dec 20. On Dec 27 I received an email stating the mattress had finished production and a few hours later I was contacted by the shipper who was already aware of our request for afternoon delivery. Possible delivery for Dec 29 if not then on Jan 2. Kudos to Max in customer service for an excellent job.

    In the summer of 2016, we purchased our first mattress from Saatva. It was a luxury firm king size. We were amazed with the quality. The bed is extremely comfortable and we no longer had back pain. Unfortunately, our home flooded due to Hurricane Harvey in Katy, TX.     After months of research, my husband and I concluded that we definitely would buy from the brands offered by the Saatva Mattress companies, thinking of Loom and Leaf specifically. We went to a big box store just to see how the Tempurpedic mattress felt. While my husband loved the super firm mattress and the cooling gel, I felt it was too hard and too cold. In expressing these issues to Ellie, at Saatva, we were grateful that she really considered our very different needs and thoughtfully assisted us in arriving at the conclusion that a firm, innerspring mattress with the European pillow top would best meet our needs.

    She was so helpful and so honest and she really listened. She could have steered us to a more expensive mattress, but instead she gently directed us to the mattress we felt we could both be comfortable with, and now we feel confident that we have made the right choice. Our next step will be to try the mattress itself. It is nice to know that when you call Saatva, the agents speak for, and are of course very knowledgeable about the Saatva innerspring mattresses, the Loom and Leaf Memory Foam Mattresses and the Zenhaven Latex Mattresses.

    I wanted to buy a mattress online and boy, that is not an easy task, so many companies with so many reviews. Saatva was different, they don't mail you a mattress rolled up in a tube that you have to haul around yourself, they come and set it up. Saatva mattresses look like traditional mattresses, until you look under the hood. Their website explains very clearly what sets them apart. I ordered the firm mattress that 80% of customers like. It was a little firm for me and causing some joint pain. I called and they sent me a topper that arrived in less than a week and they extended my trial period by another 3 months. Giving me 6 months to decided if this mattress will work for me (it seems to be) or if I should exchange for the softer one. Who does that these days? Saatva goes above and beyond, they want you to be happy and it shows. Exemplary company and a wonderful mattress. I will never buy a mattress anywhere else!

    I won't buy this mattress again, and regret not returning it a couple of years ago when I bought it. I have a bad back, total spinal fusion due to scoliosis, degeneration, etc., and the mattress doesn't help; maybe causes more pain. I ordered the "flagship" model and it is hard, and seems to start sagging early on. To me, it is just an average coiled mattress, nothing special. Also, I noticed that all the wonderful reviews seem to do with customer service. In fact, the ONLY time the company contacted me was prior to even receiving the product, asking for a good review about their customer service experience. At no time after purchase did they contact me asking for a review on their product. Well, at least the delivery experience was ok, with courteous gentlemen.

    First and foremost, we love our bed!!! Hard to pick a mattress by laying on it for 3 minutes. We bought with Saatva because they have a 120-day no ask money back guarantee. Try it and love it or return it. We love it! So comfortable! So much so that we bought another for our guest room and my parents didn't want to go home! In addition, the delivery people are so nice and set everything up. But the best part was that when we bought our second mattress, we also bought a frame for it and set up a room for my parents downstairs due to my mom's knee injury.

    My parents went home after two weeks and we moved the new mattress upstairs. But then we had to deal with getting rid of the old mattress. Not only did Saatva agree to come back and pick up our old mattress, they credited us for the bed frame that we barely used and told us we could just donate it.     Purchased the firm. Breaks down way too fast and offers NO support for anyone curvy or overweight or just heavy. Bed looks flat. Lay down on it and poof, it's like laying in a hammock. Was tolerable for about 6 months. Bad ever since. Look for a traditional spring mattress of good quality.

    So about two and a half years ago I decided to go with Saatva because of the great reviews. So I went for the queen size Luxury Firm. When I first received it I was extremely relieved to get a new mattress and my wife and I slept great! However after about 5-6 months in the mattress started getting softer but to the point where you could feel and hear the coils in the mattress popping. It was extremely strange and I began getting severe body aches across my entire back. I called Saatva and with no hesitation they replaced the mattress with a new one.

    About a year after the second one the same exact thing started happening again. I called and they decided to send me a topper which made the bed overly soft and didn't work well and hurt my back even more. I called Saatva once again and they decided to replace the mattress again with no issues no extra money but this time we switched to the firm. Now 4 months into the firm the body aches are worse than ever. I have never in my life felt body aches as I do now. So as the title states The service is fantastic from Saatva but the mattress itself is by far the worst product purchase I have ever made in my life.

    Was reluctant to order online but did so after reading other reviews. Was replacing high dollar memory foam king size mattress that wife always hated. Took a while to get it but well worth the wait. Delivery was perfect, took away my old mattress.     I read everything on the website for Saatva after their advertisement appeared on my computer screen. Then I called and spoke to Kristal to answer a few more questions. My spouse and I are 75 years of age and have owned several mattresses in our 53 years of marriage. Our last set was an adjustable bed which was never really satisfactory to us. I purchased the Lineal King Adjustable bed and the Saatva (2) extra long mattresses in the mid-range for comfort. I received two phone calls while waiting for my order and it came a few days earlier than I expected. The delivery folks were great. They had everything set up in no time and everything worked perfectly.

    We purchased our mattress and base just over a year ago and despite rotating it has developed deep sagging on both sides. When I contacted Saatva with my concerns they would only replace our mattress if I paid an additional $799.00. He said we should have purchased the firmer mattress and said I must not be using the correct base. The base was purchased from Saatva at the same time. The pillow top is incredible but trying to get comfortable sleeping in the valley is impossible.

    After many years of sleeping discomfort, my husband and I read reviews of Saatva. We were impressed by the positive feedback of Saatva customers. We were particularly impressed by the fact that Saatva is an American company. In previous years, we have searched all of the name brand mattresses which were also the mattresses priced from $5,000-$10,000. It is our opinion that we should have quality without purchasing a product at this ridiculously high cost. Our previous purchase was a huge disappointment, and required my husband to put a sheet of plywood between the box springs and mattress to hopefully provide more support. Even with this, I continued to have great pain and discomfort in my back and hips. The mattress lacked quality of comfort and firmness, thus making every night miserable, and awakening to tiredness and aches.

    The courteous assistance from Saatva was amazing! All information provided was done with professionalism, and follow up from representatives was superb. Delivery was made just as we were told. Research can be time consuming, however, it is well worth the time of reading about experiences of others. Our new king size mattress provides us with firmness, comfort, and total customer satisfaction. Waking up with no back or hip pain, and feeling well rested is terrific!     I received my mattress yesterday and have not slept that good in years. I had a little trouble with the trucking company when they were going to deliver and I called Saatva and canceled the order.     Customer service is good and ease of ordering makes it nice but when it came to arranging delivery they were inflexible in meeting my needs. The mattress was extremely comfortable at first but within about 6 months, it was horrible! Soft became WAY soft - the center HUMP makes it uncomfortable and makes you feel like you are sleeping in a hole. I sleep alone and switched sides after 6 months. Now the other side is way too soft and I have to say that I only weigh about 98 lbs. Right now I sleep in the center but feel like I'm on top of a mountain. Hate it. Would not recommend this mattress at all.

    In late August 2017 I attempted to purchase a new mattress from Saatva. I paid over $1,000 for the mattress, an amount that was immediately charged to my visa. There were multiple problems trying to arrange delivery. Mainly, the delivery company (not Saatva themselves) would not provide more than a 24 hour notice for when they would appear at the house. Moreover, they required a 1/2 day delivery window. It wasn't easy to arrange a 1/2 day off work with such little notice. However, we finally ironed out a mutually satisfactory solution and I had a Saturday delivery date.

    Suddenly (and I do mean suddenly) without notice, my wife got a telephone call from Saatva and was told that Saatva had unilaterally cancelled our order! Much confused, I telephoned and spoke with the Saatva General Manager, "Corey". His only statement was that "because of mutual frustration" (his words) they had decided to cancel our order! Unconditionally. No amount of explanation changed their stand.

    I was dumbfounded. I had never had such an unprofessional encounter with a USA company before. I was so stunned with Saatva’s response, I filed complaint with the Better Business Bureau, to which Mr. M. Ehrlich, Vice President at Saatva, replied with a very negative ad hominem attack! I was told I was "aggressive" and "not fit for (their) business". Completely unheard of! [A review of my recorded telephone conversations with Saatva could quickly disprove Mr. Ehrlich's allegations]. I would encourage any potential buyer to be VERY wary of dealing with Saatva. Given my experience, I'm not sure I would trust their service agreements, warranties, or any other business interactions.

    My husband and I purchased the Saatva Luxury Firm Mattress after several days of reading reviews and watching videos. We were hesitant about buying a mattress online, but decided to go for it. The customer service was pretty good, they sent me an email and text right away to confirm my details. The mattress took about 2 weeks to arrive. It seemed well made. The delivery guys had to wrestle it up the stairs, it was extremely heavy.

    We had high hopes, but unfortunately it was hard as a rock. For context, my husband weighs about 250 pounds and I weigh about 135. We both found it unbearably hard. It had no give for either of us. I can't even imagine what the firm is like. The plush may have been better, but I wasn't risking losing another $99 to test it out. I can't imagine it would be soft enough based on how hard the "middle of the road" model was. We called to have it picked up after sleeping on it for 2 weeks. They tried to send us a memory foam topper to get us to keep it. I didn't spend $1000 on a mattress to have to use a topper. It took over a week for them to come pick up the darn thing, but they refunded our money right away. Long story short, I don't understand all the glowing reviews and I would not recommend this product!

    My husband has not been happy with our mattress since we received it. He sent it back for another but continues to complain almost every day.     A Saatva mattress is quite possibly the WORSE excuse for something to sleep on ever made. Sure their photos are comforting, and they offer you the return, but the reason you bought a new mattress is to get a good night's sleep and not have pain in your body from the bedding and you will get neither from Saatva. All mattress reviews, like this one, should concern the product itself, not the happy folks who placed your order. In Saatva's case, the product itself is a piece of excrement and should be used only for allowing kids to jump on. Never, never depend on this company to provide you with the product they are pushing... falsely pushing. The Saatva company should be reported to the Attorney General of Connecticut.

    UPDATED ON 08/27/2017: On July 4, 2017, I ordered a mattress and foundation online from SAATVA. The price was $1088, that was deducted immediately from my PNC bank account. On July 7, 2017, I called SAATVA requesting the order be cancelled. SAATVA cancelled it, and my payment was refunded within 24 hours. Two weeks later, I receive a call from a delivery company that a SAATVA mattress is to be delivered to my home the following day. I tell the deliverer that I did not order a mattress and they have the wrong address. He replied, no, SAATVA had paid for them to deliver both pieces to my home. They did.

    The SAATVA mattress was the opposite of everything the company purports it to be. No four consecutive inches were the same height. Sections of springs appeared not to have been wrapped. It emitted heat and foul odor. From the mattress end, upward about eight inches and all the way across, the mattress sloped precipitously, as if that section had been separately attached. Lying on it created sciatic nerve attack and cramped vertebrae. It was junk.

    So shocking was this experience, and so contrary to SAATVA advertising and promises, I took the responsibility of warning fellow consumers. ConsumerAffairs (CA) website published my critique of SAATVA product deception. All reviews are fully vetted by ConsumerAffairs prior to their being posted. My review went online July 26. During this time, I had not heard from SAATVA regarding the mattress after the order was closed. Nor had SAATVA responded to my ConsumerAffairs post, where the seller is asked to answer. The other shoe never dropped. As I later discovered, SAATVA is as sloppy in record-keeping as they are in mattress construction.

    On August 10, 2017, I phoned SAATVA with a polite assessment of their product, intimating something had gone wrong in its construction, and enlightening them it had been sent after my order was cancelled. All Hell broke loose. A rep named “Cory” said someone would get back to me. In minutes, a woman was screaming at me saying I was responsible for paying for the mattress, and she would send the charge of $1088 to my bank account. I told her it was SAATVAs fault for delivering an item I had not ordered and she admitted, "Yes, it was. But you still have to pay for it." SAATVA, priding itself on “excellent customer relations” had committed a grave trade error but was charging the customer for it.

    Immediately, I received an email from Cory incorporating a phony purchase invoice with the same order number as my original purchase! That order number had been put to rest on July 7, but SAATVA fraudulently resurrected it to cover their gross mistake, and force me to pay for something I had not ordered. On August 15, I received the first in series of intimidating, threatening and bullying emails from a SAATVA attorney. The email thread is available to all (you need to read this), by contacting me at **. On behalf of SAATVA, the attorney accused me of stealing the mattress. He charged me with posting a negative CA review because SAATVA wouldnt give to me “Free!” Keep in mind, my CA post appeared July 26. Neither he nor SAATVA had any idea about me, the mattress or the review until two weeks later, August 10, when I told them.

    The essence of this dribble was to force me, by repeated threat, intimidation and fear, to remove my honest evaluation of a SAATVA mattress. The attorney accused me of falsifying my sleeping experience; the only way he could prove it was false is if he had slept with me on the SAATVA. Then, SAATVAs attorney created a second phony, non-existent order number, referencing this mattress! Multiple times he threatened to take me to court and sue me for a “defaming” post, demanding I remove it or be destroyed! Each of his dozens of paragraphs ended in “We will take every legal measure available to prosecute you.” Truth is not slander and there is no bad faith in my assessment.

    Public Law 114-258, Consumer Review Fairness Act of 2016, guarantees the right of the consumer to publish personal assessment of a publicly traded product via any method of communication. The law also makes it illegal to threaten or coerce a consumer into removing a posting, and is punishable by law. Further, there are multiple negative SAATVA reviews in the same thread, more derogatory and “defaming” than mine. Even a chiropractor who purchased a SAATVA has written the mattress is the worst thing that can happen to your back. Is SAATVA threatening these people as well? Additionally, the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) prohibits sellers from asking for payment for unordered items and the FTC says consumers are under no obligation to even tell the seller about the wrongly delivered merchandise.

    One wonders how much SAATVA has paid their attorneys for their swarm of browbeating lies and torment? Is this worth the price of a shoddy mattress and its retrieval? The FTC “Business Guide to Mail, Internet, or Telephone Order Merchandise Rule”, says SAATVA must allow me to keep this mattress. Specifically, "Customers who receive unordered merchandise are legally entitled to treat the merchandise as a gift," The guide says, noting that businesses cannot try to get payment for the item, nor can businesses demand the item be returned. If a business does that, the FTC says, it may be subject to civil penalties of up to $16,000 per violation.

    It's a shoddy mattress, apparently one of many SAATVA delivers to consumers, with or without knowing they are being sent??? The Internet is laced with dissatisfied SAATVA customers who have honestly shared their unfortunate experiences with SAATVA, including on this site. Why single me out, or are others being tormented as well? Why could this company not just let it go? What are they afraid of? Is SAATVA not big enough to say they made a mistake, keep the product, sorry for the inconvenience? SAATVAs actions in this matter reinforce the jaundiced opinion consumers already have of them. What do they hope to gain? Attempting to forcefully silence consumers is a violation of federal law, just as is everything else SAATVA has done since I told them of their mistake. Dear consumers, judge whether you want to do business with this company.

    I ordered this (Cal King) mattress without even laying on it because first of all... the excellent reviews. Customers all had excellent things to say. I was waking up aching all the time but when I would stay in a hotel a couple days or travel, I would feel great. My mattress was 15 yrs old and was sagging. This is American made and they back up what they make. I was going to have neck surgery in a couple months and wanted a good mattress to heal on. I got the flagship model and we absolutely loved it and started sleeping through the night and quit aching. Love love my Saatva and highly recommend!

    I was planning to buy a Saatva Zenhaven mattress today and had a final concern prior to purchasing. Instead of the chat rep actually reading my question, I received cut and paste replies. When I tried to clarify my question, I was directed to claims made on the website. I never once received what I asked for, and it turns out the the mattress warranty is quite generic and written fully in favor of the company (of course). I've had many poor experiences with mattress companies and had believed that Saatva would be different. Unfortunately, it turns out that they fit the mattress company mold perfectly. Very disappointing.

    Also, their website has a statement from an EVP named Ed Brians. It asks anyone who is unsatisfied to call him directly. I called the number listed, and there's no way to reach Mr. Brians at that number. That was very disheartening and a bit like fraud. I'd love to try the mattress, but this experience has made me very uncomfortable with Saatva.

    We have had the Saatva Mattress for a year now and are very satisfied with the comfort of the unit. The problem my wife is having is that the mattress is extremely heavy and is difficult to lift to change sheets. We have the 14.5 Queen unit, is the 11.5 significantly lighter? Other mattresses we have had were never this heavy and that may have to do with construction. Have others had the same problem? If we decided to go to an 11.5, is there any price offset?

    The reason I am writing a review is because of all the sleepless nights we had on a new mattress purchased not even a year ago that cost us over $2k and unfortunately after countless attempts to get something done about it... nobody really cared. I will NEVER purchase another mattress from a store again! Anyway, I was very skeptical about purchasing a mattress online. However, after having bad luck with purchasing one last April 2016 from a well known mattress store for lots more money and only to be unhappy about 3 months later and couldn't sleep on it, we contacted the store and found out they would not do anything about it. Therefore, I started searching online and stumbled upon the Saatva website and after weeks of sleepless nights and doing tons of research and reading of reviews on Saatva...     The Saatva website is very informative and helpful on what mattress needs you need for your sleeping habits and they are accurate. The customer service reps that I spoke with were also very helpful and courteous in answering all my questions and concerns too. The ordering process was simple and easy to do and from the time my order was placed, to the manufacturing process starting, to the completion and the delivery... Saatva was in touch with me on what was going on and how soon our new Saatva mattress would be delivered. I was very impressed by all the notifications on the production, up to the delivery of our Saatva mattress. Also the quality of the mattress is incredible!

    Anyway, this was the BEST decision I ever made and I highly recommend anyone who is having sleeping problems, unhappy with their current mattress or who has doubts about ordering a Saatva mattress online...Give Saatva a try!     After searching online for mattresses and visiting the Saatva website I was constantly seeing Saatva ads on websites. No big deal these days. They all use that tactic. What they don't all do is send you a brochure 4-6 weeks later through the U.S. postal service with your name and address even though you never entered any personal information. This company is using data mining or outright hacking to acquire customers personal information and I recommend that nobody ever purchase goods or services from hackers, spammers, or any other company with such questionable business practices.

    We bought this bed in 2015 and just wanted to say the mattress is still as awesome as it was when it was first delivered. We love it and we are so grateful for finding this bed online and so easily. At first we were apprehensive. We thought why would you buy a bed online without trying it out in person. The warranty helped to convince us and the reviews 2 years ago convinced us. This bed is amazing and I hear what my friends tell me they paid for other state of the art beds (I won't name names).     I ordered this mattress in July 2015. At first, and probably in the first 6 months it was fine. It is now sagging and I wonder what will happen by next year. The firmness I was expecting for at least 5-7 years is already gone. The edges sag significantly and there are sags overall and less firmness throughout. Very disappointing.

    We are very happy with our Saatva mattress! We've had hybrid waterbed (looks like a regular bed and has with stability baffles inside the water bags). I was having various hip, shoulder, neck and back pains during the night. My husband was reluctant to change from a water bed, but with the 120 day trial period, we had nothing to lose. We are both pleased with the comfort level and good sleep we're getting on our queen, luxury firm mattress with boxspring. The bed is soft enough, but gives the support I need for a great night's sleep! From ordering, delivery, assembly, quality, price, comfort, everything - we highly recommend Saatva!

    This rating is misleading because it isn't the experience I am unhappy with, it is the product. Saatva Mattress Co has top notch employees and my dealings with them were excellent even though I returned part of my original order. My dissatisfaction is with the mattress that I purchased. I've had it for about 6 months now and it is no more comfortable than my previous mattress. In addition it is so big and heavy that I cannot even lift a corner to tuck in sheets or blankets. Instead of being marketed as premium flagship mattress, jumbo would be more accurate. Perhaps I should not have tried to make such an important purchase online.

    Disclaimer, we did NOT end up testing out the mattress itself. This review is in relation to customer service / their contracted delivery partners. We placed our order with Saatva in January. We were told "once the bed is ready, you will get a call from our delivery partners to schedule your in-home delivery." We never got that call... Instead, we got an email stating "your mattress will be delivered tomorrow morning between 9:30 - 11:30." Note, this was a WEEKDAY. There was no way either of us could have taken off of work. So, we reschedule with Garrett's Moving & Storage Company... and are told "we can completely reschedule your delivery for Friday after business hours." We call back to confirm... and no less than an hour later are told that cannot happen and they have "6 people ahead of us and 4 people behind us."

    Okay... So no big deal, we reschedule for the following Monday. Same time. 3 hours prior to our delivery, we get a call from Garrett's moving & storage and are told "Someone called and rescheduled your delivery to Wednesday..." which was COMPLETELY false. 100% false. They said "oh well we can do it Wednesday..." So I said I'll speak with Saatva. I had already alerted Saatva with the mishaps from the first go-round with their delivery people and they said "oh just notify us if there are any further issues." I call Saatva, and am told "well, we can reschedule it for you and have it delivered tomorrow." I said the only time that would work... is well after business hours. To which I am told, "Yah I can't make any promises." So, I cancel my order.

    The Customer Service Manager calls me back saying "Oh great I can have them deliver it on Wednesday...." Which is what the delivery people already had so... it's not like they did anything spectacular. It was already on the books for that day since the delivery people apparently rescheduled it on their own. I then said I wanted another delivery company to handle our order as I had absolutely ZERO confidence in whom they originally contracted. They said and I quote, "Well, we've worked with this company for over 3 years and they have a 90% success rate. Shipping and delivering is a big business." I said, "Did you even read their yelp reviews? They're terrible!" to which he replies again.. verbatim, "People only post reviews when they're mad not when they're happy..." False, you have a ton of reviews on your website with all "happy," and "satisfied," customers so I find that EXTREMELY hard to believe...

    Needless to say, the mattress may be great, who knows but I would NEVER recommend this company to anyone I care about as they could care less if you waste your time trying to receive the VERY EXPENSIVE product. Also... I question the reviews on their website. There is NO way to filter them to see how many 1 star, 2 star... etc. reviews are on there, also I wonder if the "reviews," they claim to have on their site are even truthful... The FTC should really look into this.

    First I didn't get the original email for my order because the person on the phone wrote it down wrong. Then when I got it finally, they had ordered me a California King instead of a King mattress. So I called hastily to change it before it started being processed. The website includes an excellent resource regarding the height of the bed depending on the various frame, mattress and foundation configurations.     We ordered the Luxury Firm. We received a call that when our mattress would be ready they would let us know to schedule a delivery. We were called on a Wednesday that it was ready but that first delivery date was the following Tuesday. We explained that we were moving and needed the bed the next day. The woman we spoke with says she would try to accommodate and she did. Our mattress was delivered the next day, set up and everything went very smoothly. We've only been sleeping on it for 2 days. It seems a little soft to me but I'm going to give it time. Other reports are that the firm is too firm. Beautiful looking bed and excellent customer service. Plus it's made in California.

    Great experience in terms of ordering, etc. The fine tune phone call to make sure I ordered the right mattress was exceptional. The only thing that perhaps needs a fine tune is when Garrett Moving company left a message. I had not seen the email linking them to you guys and therefore had no idea who they were and what they were delivering since they said, "Your appliance" I believe. This should be addressed.
