    I'm very pleased, overall, with my queen mattress. I ordered a medium firm mattress but, after about 2 weeks, decided I'd be happier with the firmest mattress. I requested the exchange on-line and the person I worked with took care of everything and within 2 weeks, I had the new mattress delivered. My only suggestion is that the edges of the mattress be more supportive. When I sit on the side of the bed, I feel as though I could slide off. It's not a major issue but perhaps a thing to consider.

    When shopping for a mattress, I came across Saatva online and felt the reviews were so good that I wanted to buy a mattress from Saatva. I ordered the Queen Luxury Plush with the adjustable bed frame and am very happy with my purchase. I do have lower back issues and the mattress offers great support, is comfortable and I sleep very well! I love the adjustable bed frame for watching TV or reading at night! So glad I ordered the Saatva Luxury Plush mattress, it's a keeper!

    Due to COVID I did all the research on line for a mattress replacement. The Saatva site was a amazing as it had a process to assist you in choosing the right mattress for you. Once I decided on a product, there was outstanding communication. Delivery went off without a hitch. Besides a quality product I appreciated that their product was delivered and set up. Then they removed the old mattress. I had looked at products that had high reviews but they were delivered to you which meant you had to unpackage, set up the new mattress and then deal with discarding both the old mattress and packaging. As a senior that was not doable. The best part is that this mattress has met my expectations of a restful night's sleep.

    This was the best decision I ever made. I expected a hassle with purchasing a mattress online but the hardest part turned out to be just making a final decision for which one. Ordered, confirmed, delivered very quickly. Set up in 10 minutes, old bed hauled off. Bing, bang, boom... It was that unbelievably easy; the easiest major purchase I've ever made. And then there's the icing on the cake. I LOVE MY NEW BED AND PILLOWS!!! And couldn't be happier with my decision.

    I have a damaged lumbar disc and have had constant back pain for several years, even with ongoing chiropractics, so I recently decided to shop for a good 'Back' bed after having visited friends and slept on other beds noticing some difference. The Loom & Leaf Relaxed Firm Mattress with the adjustable frame has made a HUGE difference and I no longer wake up with a backache. It has also significantly reduced the overall discomfort I typically experienced throughout the day before. I felt guilty and self-indulgent buying such a high-end bed, but it helped as much (after just the first night) as several years of chiropractics and continues to do so. If you are looking for a great bed for an achy back, these memory foam models with the adjustable frame are the very best investment.

    I included the Saatva Pillow Set and have loved them as well. I've tried several pillows from other resources this past year and was still unsatisfied searching for the right support. The heavy, condensed loft on these offer excellent support and comfort. I've had my new set up for 5 mos now, and still haven't needed my heating pad since. I'm sleeping better, am more comfortable, and have much more agility throughout the day than before. So happy. Best thing I've ever done for myself. Truly a wonderful bed. Extra divine, I'm certain, even for someone without nagging back issues.

    I ordered this mattress because I wanted a mattress like the “Heavenly” bed. The reviews were great but I don’t like this mattress. It’s hard and very uncomfortable. I begged for this mattress from my husband for years and it was expensive and I don’t need an I told you so. I went with the most popular mattress but I never get a good night's sleep-tossing all night long. I also didn’t report this to Saatva I just figured buying online - you get what you get.

    Have had the Latex Hybrid mattress for over 6 months, love it; possibly the best mattress I’ve ever slept on. The pillows are just as good; love them!! Also ordered the bed frame, very bland and uninspiring; also very overpriced. Customer service was OK on the return although the discount for purchasing the mattress was significantly negated when the bed frame sent back. Buy the mattress and pillows, skip all the rest.

    We purchased a Saatva Luxury Adjustable Mattress and foundation seven months ago and could not be more pleased with our purchase. I need a firm mattress & my husband prefers softer support. This is the first adjustable mattress and it won’t be our last. We love the ability to customize support. The Saatva lives up to its billing in terms of quality & feel.     The luxury firm mattress in 14.5" is SOOOO comfortable. It's plush and springy, but not so soft that I feel like I'm sinking. I get great support and my husband and I are both on the large size. The only downsides I have to nitpick at is that you feel like you might roll off if you get too close to the edge and I feel every movement of my spouse. But I find those to be relatively minor. Delivery was fantastic. I had ordered mattress supports/box springs as well, but they ended up making my bed too high. Contacting Saatva to have them returned was so easy and they were so nice, even suggesting alternatives and making sure my bedframe would support the mattress without the boxes. Return pickup took a really long time, but it was right around Christmas, so that's not really surprising. I got my money back minus shipping, even though the return was in no way their fault.     We tested three or four other mattresses and just wasn't working out. Once we had the Adjustable Base Bed and 11.5" Saatva Firm mattress we are enjoying comfortable sleep and an overall enjoyable experience.

    I understand delays in the production chain, and have experienced them several times. This was much worse, and with incessant lying along the way. Ordered a frame and mattress in September. We looked at all available, picked the top of the line mattress and a nice gray colored frame. Both item were available and "in stock", ready to be delivered within two weeks. At the end of two weeks, we were told that the frame had been "damaged" and that a replacement would take up to 4-6 weeks. We were offered another frame that was also "in stock" and available for immediate delivery.

    Replay. First, told that it was going to be delayed, then told that it was going to be significantly delayed, and then told that it actually wasn't in stock. It was unavailable. We asked for other frames, and were told 4 that were available. Ordered one of them, and unbelievably, they told us that again, there was a "clerical error" and that it in fact was not available. After months of this game, supposedly we are now to actually receive the mattress and frame in two weeks. Maybe. This company has an issue with telling the truth.

    The Saatva HD mattress has changed our lives in the weeks we’ve owned it thus far. My partner and I have been buying similarly priced mattresses from other companies for over a decade only to find that they aren’t standing the test of time. This time, as two larger people, we wanted something that would. The mattress is incredibly comfortable and seems like it will last longer than the 3-5 years we’ve gotten with other brands. Even the foundation and the bed frame we ordered from Saatva seem far superior. We are extremely pleased thus far!

    I researched mattresses as we needed a new one because our knock-off Tempurpedic was so old. I had never heard of Saatva and read the reviews which were wonderful. I talked to my husband and we ordered a soft plush Queen and we love it. It provides great support for the whole body. Delivery was wonderful, truly "white glove" and they took our old mattress. I have been telling everyone about our mattress and to do the research...then they will do what we did and buy a Saatva! Thanks for such great customer service, too!!

    I must first say that Saatva was not my first choice. I didn’t even know about the company. I have used another company, and after trying to get delivery done for over a month, they kept saying they have supply chain issues. So I ended up cancelling it, and then performed additional research online. And I found Saatva. And I was very skeptical. Because I was purchasing this for my parents, and I had to tell them every time, “Well, it’s gonna be scheduled for tomorrow.” I mean, their customer service was very poor. So, my parents also were skeptical. So when I found Saatva, and the delivery happened very quickly, and the quality was really good, so my parents were very happy. So I would recommend Saatva to anyone that’s looking for a good quality mattress, and timely delivery, and stellar customer service.

    I can't even begin to describe how in love we are with our new Saatva mattresses. We have purchased two of them so far - a Firm and a Luxury Firm. While we are keeping both of them, I will say if I had to choose one between both of them, I would choose the Luxury Firm over the Firm, but both are absolutely incredibly comfortable. By far the best mattresses hubby and I have ever owned.

    Also of note, hubby was never, ever able to get a full night's sleep before having these mattresses. We're in our upper 50s, early 60s, and this is the first time in probably more than 20 years that hubby has been able to get a full night's rest of at least a solid 8 hours without waking up to shoulder pain and hip pain. These mattresses are nothing short of a miracle. We love them so much, we're planning on getting two more of the Luxury Firms in the very near future. Can't say enough about them. We're SO VERY PLEASED.

    I have been a regular customer of Saatva over the past six years and was excited about receiving my new mattress. The mattress itself is as expected - very comfortable and of very good quality. However the delivery experience was horrible. The two drivers used plenty of expletives while talking to each other and one of them showed up without a mask - this was several months ago when the pandemic was still at its peak. They kept complaining about being illegally parked and about how long the job was taking even though it’s a small apartment right next to the elevator and all they had to do was drop off a mattress and take the old one away. They also complained when I gave them booties to wear over rather dirty shoes.

    One of the men kept referring to the older mattress (actually only 5 years old and in outstanding condition) as a piece of junk that they shouldn’t have had to pick up. This is the last time I purchase from Saatva, which is a great pity, but I just cannot get over having those two poorly behaved individuals in my home.

    My husband and I have different mattress preferences. The customer service rep helped us to think through our needs and choose a mattress that would make us both happy. After ordering the mattress and frame and setting a delivery date, we found out our old mattress and frame could not be taken for a month later than we expected. Saatva was very accommodating. They said they would work with the delivery company to move the date. I did not have to worry at all. I love the mattress and headboard and have been sleeping soundly since receiving it.

    I ordered a firm plush. It arrived and was a white-glove delivery including set up. The delivery people were respectful and very customer oriented. However, first night on the bed, my back was killing me, I noticed the mattress had a very obvious dip in the middle. I couldn't sleep on that, so I slept on the other bed in the house. I called the Saatva customer care and explained my situation. "No problem," he said and set up another mattress for delivery and the same company would take back the faulty mattress.

    It took about a week and the delivery company carted the old mattress away and set up the new one. I slept better than I had slept in months. This mattress was perfect and several months later still is. It's firm yet comfortable. I give Saatva 5 stars for their fabulous customer service, and wonderful product. I appreciated their integrity in backing their product. The return was totally no hassle at all and was very easy and a good experience. The only thing better is having the original delivery work out!

    All went perfect. Mattress is great. The people supporting the ordering and delivery were great. Even the email notification system worked well. I started with looking at Good Housekeeping to find a Mattress. Good Housekeeping rated this one as excellent for my needs. Soft, conforms, thick, cotton breaths well (Southern, US). I sleep and wake with no back issues even though my back normally has issues on most mattresses.

    I can't believe I paid money for this mattress. The first one I received felt like I was sleeping on a rock, and after a couple months of back and neck pain and hoping it would "break in", I requested an exchange. I exchanged it for the softest mattress they offer, and now it feels like I'm sleeping on a bouncier rock. I have put TWO mattress toppers on it and am in the process of ordering another. I can't believe how bad these mattresses are, and the reviews almost certainly have to be fake.

    Updated on 02/09/2022: After my wrong expectations due to my lack of knowledge of mattress, Saatva were kind of to reach out to me even though I was out of the trial period. Saatva offer me an explanation of the mattress types and the difference between. This educated and made me realize that the error was on my part when I order the mattress. This incident place back all confidence from me to Saatva, excellent service and products.

    Original Review: The delivery people took my mattress from the floor of the truck. There was specifically review of my mattress specifications. The mattress is too hard and uncomfortable. I would not recommend this to anyone for the price I paid.

    I ordered a very firm mattress in August 2021. In January 2022 I decided I needed a softer mattress. I am disabled and spend most of my time in bed, so it's a big deal. All I knew was the date I had purchased the mattress. I had not saved emails. The CS agent found my order despite my giving him one of two email addresses I use - the wrong one of course. He patiently found my order, arranged the replacement and let me know when to expect the replacement. PERFECT EXPERIENCE!

    The mattress is a little firmer than what we were used to; however, we are used to it now and we sleep very well. The only negative is concerning communication. I was never emailed as to when the delivery would take place, and the men just showed up unannounced! At least we were home, and we did a hasty stripping of the bedding on the old mattress - frustrating! As for the mattress, we would highly recommend it.

    Saatva has the wonderful policy of a long warranty and guarantee. Due to my wife and I having different comfort levels, we took advantage of their option to pay a $100 delivery charge to exchange our mattress for a different firmness level. We did this and it worked out great! This company not only makes outstanding, quality mattresses, but they are excellent to deal with. I highly recommend to any customer who is particular with their mattress type, quality, and customer service, to seriously consider Saatva.

    This mattress does not disappoint. After trying two other mattress companies and being really disappointed with either the quality or service (or both), My husband and I were pretty skeptical about ordering another online mattress. So glad we did. The luxury firm is exactly what we were looking for. Supportive but not hard. And the price is a fraction of what you’d pay for similar quality elsewhere. It’s been years since I slept this good. Shipping was a little delayed but not beyond what they told us upfront. White glove service was great. I’ve told all my friends - this is the mattress they need to buy!

    Our bed needed time to breathe since it was handmade. After about a month and adding the topper, it is most definitely the most comfortable bed my husband and I have ever slept on.     Ordering the mattress took some time as we had questions and dithered over whether to buy a firm or a medium. After several conversations with the sales people, who, by the way, were so helpful and polite, we settled on the medium. The mattress was delivered to our cottage on the lake on time and efficiently by the delivery service. The entire process was made easy by Saatva. Sleeping on the mattress during the summer spoiled us, and when we returned to our home for the winter, the Saatva comfort was no more. Now we need one for our house. Next time you have a sale...

    I purchased a Solaire mattress with an adjustable base, a complete frame and pillows. Because of serious back problems I needed to sleep on a recliner for over ten years until now. I’m able to adjust how firm or soft I want along with positioning the mattress which can be different from night to night depending on my back pain. It was an investment for me and I’m very frugal with my money. This bed was absolutely 100% worth the money. Being able to sleep comfortably and for long periods of time is an amazing feeling after not having that feeling for so long.

    I have ruptured discs in my neck and lumbar region along with spinal stenosis and arthritis. This is why sleeping at all was a luxury for me, but now it’s an everyday experience. I had done a lot of searching and comparing, also reading many online reviews. I rarely write a review but this is a company and products that deserve my time to write one. The delivery was quick and professional and any of my questions were quickly answered by Saatva.     I have slept on my Saatva Mattress (Classic Mattress - Cal King 11.5" Plush) for almost 6 months now and I have to say that overall it was a great purchase. The mattress is soft and provides me with enough support as long as I rotate the bed every week. The only downfall is that I am above average build at 235 lbs and the mattress seems to be losing its form faster than I would expect. If I don't rotate the mattress every week and even sleep at an angle there is a clear indention in the mattress and in turn doesn't provide enough support for my neck/back. I've tried firmer but creates more of an issue each night that I sleep on it. The delivery and drivers were great, on time, and courteous. Overall, I would recommend and/or would buy this mattress or something similar to this again in the future.

    I was reluctant to order online sight unseen but I used the Saatva website to help me choose my style mattress and I am very happy with this purchase. This is the most comfortable mattress I have ever owned. I purchased the Saatva Classic 14.5". I paired it with a half height box spring so the bed was not too high. Be aware, this is very high and most sheets will not fit well. I wish I had gone with the 11.5" height but am very pleased with the comfort of this mattress after 1 year. Delivery was sooner than expected and I would not hesitate to purchase from Saatva again.

    We had a Sleep Number bed for 15 years and decided to go for a state-of-the-art Memory Foam Bed. After much research, Saatva (Loom & Leaf) stood out as the leader. Ordering and delivery were excellent. The bed is fabulous; best mattress we have ever slept on. It is not hot in any way and has just the right firmness (Relaxed Firm). We are average weight for male/female and are largely side and back sleepers. We have had our King bed for about 2-3 years and have since ordered a Queen for the spare bedroom. We absolutely love this mattress and give it the highest recommendation!

    Everything was great. Took a little longer than what was originally promised, but this was during the height of Covid, and I was in no rush. The product itself was worth the wait.     Saatva, Thank you for allowing me to contribute my thoughts about your mattress... I have found your mattress to be the worst mattress I have ever owned. Let me explain: I read the reviews, researched many mattresses, evaluated (the best I could) and concluded Saatva would be a good purchase for my needs (hubby and I are retired and need a mattress that would support our slightly over-weight bodies and still last a long time).

    Within the first 2 months, hubby's side of the mattress started to 'compress' -- meaning that his side of the mattress padding collapsed and was no longer comfortable to sleep on. As is common with mattresses, it is typical for the 'padding' to collapse/compress, over time, to the point at which the padding will no longer 'return' to its full thickness. We have found (with previous mattresses) that most of the mattresses would last about 8-12 years before the mattress collapsed to an 'unusable' condition... Your mattress lasted only about 4 months. As it stands right now, I consider your mattress to be a complete waste of money (and have told all my friends and family about that).

    If you were to replace the mattress with a new one - at no cost to me - I would re-evaluate your mattress... However, I am not willing to spend any more money on a product that has demonstrated to be of (almost) no value. Perhaps, with this review, Saatva will will re-engineer their mattress(es) and design a product that has actual value.

    The delivery was everything that was promised. Old mattresses were removed. We bought two mattress sets and bases. The beds are beyond comfortable and after 8 months show no signs of breakdown.     My wife and I shopped Sleep Number and came close to pulling the trigger, but we decided to try Saatva instead. We ordered a split top king and 2 adjustable bases. When the mattress arrived and was set up we were excited and looking forward to sleeping better for the first time in a long time. Then reality set in. Neither of us commented after the first few nights. After about a week, we discussed it and both of us admitted we didn't want to admit our disappointment. This mattress was uncomfortable!!! Pumping up the bladders caused a hump in the middle of each side and we were constantly rolling toward the center or the edge. The mattress would lose air or magically inflate daily. The number on the remote would change by 10 PSI up or down in 24 hrs. It became a joke with us comparing where we'd start each night. We were both ashamed to admit that we had wasted over 7K and still couldnt sleep.

    We ordered a new Sleep Number bed (an additional 4K spent) and couldn't be happier. It took almost a month to get Saatva to pick up our mattress and refund that portion of what we paid. We had to keep the bases and will use those with our new Sleep Number! I can't speak for their regular mattress, but DON'T waste your money on a Solaire!

    Really not happy with Saatva White Glove Delivery service. They came to set up my lineal base and mattress. I asked them to test the base before they brought the mattress in and it did move the head up. They never tested it once the mattress was in or show me anything on how it works. I tried it the minute they left and it's dead. Called Saatva and they said a tech will come out to look at in in a week or so. Can't believe I spent $3k and this is the garbage I get. Not feeling confident in their products. I should have went with the Tempurpedic...

    Researched buying a mattress for months based on reviews, and speaking with sales team. Waited for mattress about 3 weeks longer than promised, however understand all companies having supply chain issues. White glove delivery carted away my Tempurpedic cloud mattress and delivered the new one. The delivery guys told me to just wait and the mattress would inflate. They left with no instructions on the product, except to wait to lay on it for at least 12 hours.

    Within the first hour realized one side of bed was not inflating. Several calls to customer service with no help until the evening. This rep was helpful and was apologetic even offering me a credit. I really don't care about that, just wanted the mattress to function. Could only sleep on one side of bed. Husband out of luck...on the couch. They promised a service call to fix the bed. No documentation to my email that this was done called again next am and they promised someone would contact me. No resolution when called again in the afternoon. "We are working on it", no urgency. Totally apathetic. So frustrated with the treatment I received from the "Manager" this afternoon. Asked them to process a return. I need a bed and husband on the couch again tonight! Will look for another company, so sorry I let them take my other mattress away!

    Sadly, we had to return our mattress topper because it made our bed just a little too high for our aging dog who has major hip and leg issues. It actually never made it onto the bed, but I did open it the box. I called to set up a return and was told my best option was to donate the mattress to charity for a full refund. I was stunned to hear such a suggestion. I can't think of a more generous way to give back.     We decided on the Solaire mattress. Went to purchase, and it gave me the option to add an adjustable frame. Reviews on the adjustable frame seemed overall positive, so we decided to give it a try. I called Saatva to verify we were able to try it out, and return it if we didn’t like it, they said it would be $100 to return. So I placed the order. The mattress was delayed, and delivery was delayed even more. Saatva provided a $100 discount for the inconvenience.

    Overall, we didn’t think the mattress was suitable for us, because the edge support seem to be slightly lacking, and we didn’t like the split king that I ordered. So we called Saatva with the intention of switching to a California king. On this call, I found out the mattress is refundable because there is a trial, but the base is not refundable, not returnable, and non-exchangeable. Apparently, when you add the mattress to your shopping cart, and select the option to add an adjustable bed frame, you have to click on the link “more details“ about the adjustable frame to find out there is fine print at the bottom that states it is not returnable or exchangeable. This seems very misleading to me. So, I’m able to return the $3500 mattress, but not the $2600 bedframe.

    I originally ordered a luxury firm mattress for me and and my wife. We’d slept on a Sleep Number bed for many years, but despite buying a new pillow top cover, my wife was not able to get comfortable. The Sleep Number bed was 20 years old, so we’d got our money’s worth. I did a lot of online research and went for the Puffy Mattress. This was a huge mistake right from the start as I could never get comfortable and suffered with aching back and hips. I should add all mattresses detailed in this write up are King size. Also, I am 6 feet tall, 315 lbs and my wife is 5 feet tall and 108 lbs.

    After suffering for nine months, I did more online research and found Saatva. My wife and I decided that we had no interest in a memory foam mattress and would look for a traditional coil spring with a foam top. I called Saatva and detailed to the Sales person about our sizes/weights, sleeping habits, etc, and asked which mattress would be recommended. I was told approximately 80% of Saatva customers chose the Luxury Firm mattress, but if we went with the Luxury Firm and were not happy, we could exchange it for another model mattress.

    We ordered the Luxury Firm mattress and several weeks later it was delivered. The first night was horrific and I can honestly say I had never been so uncomfortable and ended up getting up at 3:00am, went to my computer and wrote a letter to Saatva Customer Support. I then went to my recliner and slept until my wife got up. My wife too had a miserable night, but did not get up.

    Customer Support contacted me very quickly and advised it could take several weeks to get acclimated to a new mattress and suggested I review Customer feedback. I followed this suggestion and several customers also stated their early experience was less than positive, but after several weeks the mattress was a winner and were glad they had been patient as they were now getting some great night’s rest. We decided to give it a try and I will admit the nights did improve, but both of us experienced hip and leg pains, so I contacted Customer Support. They were incredibly empathetic and offered to send me a mattress topper to see if this would help. We received this a few days later, but long story short, the topper did not help the cause.

    I contacted Customer Support again and told them, I wanted to switch to the Plush Soft mattress. Again, Customer Support Rep (Ina) was very respectful, courteous and patient. I was required to pay a small fee to make the change and a couple of weeks later the Plush Soft Mattress was delivered and Luxury Firm mattress taken away.

    We’ve had the Plush Soft mattress for several weeks now and I can’t say enough good things. Both myself and my wife are very happy with the mattress comfort and the great nights sleep we are now experiencing. I find it amazing that more customers buy the Luxury Firm mattress!!! Being honest, I really thought the Plush Soft would not work for both of us and we would end up purchasing the Solaire Customizable Comfort Split Mattress, but at this time we could not be happier with the Plush Soft mattress. I want to thank Saatva and Customer Support (Ina) for her patience and great customer service throughout this entire time and I will strongly recommend Saatva whenever I can.

    I've had the mattress for almost a year now. The cotton material is good, and the product does off some level of lumbar support. However, their claims about heat dispersion, durability, and support system for rest of the body is questionable. Mattress helps a little with heat dispersion but not as much as they claim on the site. Furthermore, the durability of the mattress seems okay but I'm now starting to notice that the product feels uneven when I sleep on it and there's not as much support (outside of the back) for one's shoulders/neck. Overall, not the highest quality mattress in the world but I think it's fair given its price point. Would only recommend perhaps for those who are on a budget.

    While I am so far happy with my mattress, I had to make numerous calls to their customer service dept. with questions about its delivery which were resolved when I finally spoke with a supervisor. Although the delivery was on time and the delivery people were quick and efficient, they called my doorman a not so nice name because they did not want to go back to their truck to get masks which they were not wearing and which are required for everyone entering my building. I resolved this by bring them 2 masks to wear for the delivery.

    As for the pillows, I ordered them afterwards and am being told, again by a supervisor who I asked for after not getting a return email from customer service, that each individual pillow is made when ordered and that this is what is causing the delay in getting a timely tracking number. Hard to believe and quite frankly very silly. For a company that charges high prices and bills you on the day of purchase when shipping may not occur until 2 weeks later, you would think they would at least bend over backwards to provide good, honest and informative customer service. That said, I am hoping the pillows are as good as the mattress seems.

    I ordered two twin-size of these mattresses (for 2 different NY locations), and a queen size of same for my home in Maryland. Every one of these mattresses became warped and very uncomfortable, causing back problems. All of them no longer are used. I am asking Saatva to reimburse me partial credit for the expense of 3 mattresses that became uncomfortable after 1 year. The mattress order referenced here was ordered for one of my children, who was in his 20s when mattress was new. Despite his younger age, he also experienced backaches from this mattress.

    Delivery window of 17-25 business days for white glove delivery is estimate on production of mattress not actual delivery. I was told I would have to wait an additional 2 weeks for delivery. They are also unable to give any information once they release to shipping partner. No ETA. Nothing. Customer service is indifferent. Spoke with 4 different people. Was told I can't cancel, but will need to wait until delivery to return as bed will not arrive in time. 39 days for a product constructed and delivered within the US is excessive. Might be better received had they been straightforward about actual delivery times. SO disappointing. Already ordered through competitor that will deliver within the week. Don't waste your time.

    Don't waste your time or money. Went as low as the Stars let me but if I could go lower... Ordered July 2nd with an estimated delivery date of July 24. Nope, not even close. We called, "We're sorry, COVID caused delays, I understand your frustration..." Next date "scheduled," first week of August from apologetic Customer service Rep. Yeah, nope didn't happen. Like other reviewers, "We're looking into it, we're sorry, we understand...$100 off for the inconvenience..."

    I told my wife, who ordered it, "Cancel, get the refund and let's move forward with someone that actually WANTS to uphold a good reputation!" She called back and got good news lol, pick one of three dates for delivery! She chose the earliest date, a Monday. Great news, THEY CALLED US BACK!!! "No, sorry, Monday doesn't work, we don't come to your area on Mondays. W+£, SAATVA offered that date. O.o We can be there on August 25th!!" Deal, we will be ready. The Wife was still holding out hope.

    It is August 24th, no call so WE called. "OH, yeah, I'm sorry, I know how you feel, we strive for...." I'm pretty sure that the Rep, that's been responding to these reviews, has some smoke to blow somewhere, but enough. 50 + days is definitely outside their time-frame. IMO, I'm beginning to have doubts they're even a multi-million dollar a year company. Well, almost, we were this close <---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> to having a new bed from SAATVA.

    Ordered my bed going on 35 days ago, still hasn’t arrived. Quoted 7-29 days for delivery due to Covid delays. I was patient And understanding until we hit the 30 day mark, check my order status online. Showed it was still in the “ordered” phase not even into the production phase. My order date had also been changed to “invalid date”. I called to find out what was going on. I was met with very condescending tones, a lot of “I’m sorry”, “I understand” and minimizing the delay. “Well yeah, we do say 7-29 days. We’re just shy of that”. Just shy of it? It’s not even been made yet! They also used Covid as the reason for the delay, I’m understand about this except at this point it feels like they are abusing it. I was promised a call back that day, didn’t happen.

    Next day I called again. Same thing, demeaning tones, a lot of insincere apologies and a promise to follow up with me that day. Suddenly now my online status shows in production after I’ve called and made a fuss? I never got a call back, so once again I called, you guessed it.. Same bit, it’s as if they are all trained to apologize in that fake insincere tone, dance around the issue instead of providing resolution or action, and then promise you they will “personally” look into it. It’s such a theatrical experience. However, This call was told the delivery team had tried calling me that day to schedule, yet I never received a call, no voicemail was left and they couldn’t tell me when exactly they had called. Then said, "Well let me find out if they actually have it ready."

    Anyway, the call back to follow up on that never happened, so the next day… Yup, I called. Again. This time I asked for a manager, I was told they were on break and would call me back. I didn’t hold my breath. Surprisingly, they called. No surprise I was greeted with the same tone that makes you even more annoyed when you’ve already been pushed past your limit of patience. A lot of “I’m sorry” and dancing around the issue, I stated I wanted action not words, the discussion became heated because the going in circles And not providing a solution or proper compensation for the delays was infuriating. I had made this order under the impression I would receive it in 7-29 days.

    Here we are almost 35 days since I ordered and they want to offer me a measly $100 credit, with still no guarantee date of delivery? How insulting. When they said someone would call me early next week to arrange delivery, and couldn’t provide a date, I got fed up because I will not be available next week, nor will I be available for some time as my availability date is unknown at this time, as I am dealing with a family health issue in another state. No one will be there for the delivery. I was banking on having my mattress here within that 29 days that would put me in the clear before I’d be unavailable.

    Ultimately, I felt belittled when I asked for him to stop apologizing as it’s infuriating and when I asked to cancel and be refunded he said, “Okay we'll get that order canceled, and I know you don’t want to hear this, but I’m sorry.” (In that snarky tone) Almost like he wanted to take a final dig, like they get off on being that way or something. Never in My life had I been so frustrated with a customer service experience. Will definitely be taking my money elsewhere. And after reading some other reviews on here where they have responded, you can tell in their responses how they are so rehearsed in speaking in circles, and well versed in insincere tones and apologies. Literally makes my skin crawl.

    With this said, we have always strived to provide our customers with an excellent experience. We pride ourselves on being amongst the highest-reviewed companies nationally for both our products and our customer service. We have worked very hard to earn our pristine reputation. We feel there are statements the consumer made in her complaint, which are incorrect, and from which we must defend ourselves.

    First off, the consumer's order is not late. The customer was quoted 17-29 days, plus a possible additional 2-weeks, for delivery on her sales receipt. We are well within that time frame. The mattress has been handcrafted and is at our delivery partner's facility. In fact, they called the customer last week (the call is date and time stamped) in an attempt to schedule her in-home white-glove delivery and set-up.

    We will research the consumer's claim that she felt our CSR's were talking down to her. As she herself stated, they apologized for her disappointment with us, so we're not sure what they allegedly did wrong. If however, it turns out to be the case that any of our team members were anything less than empathetic and helpful, they will be disciplined accordingly. We must add in our defense, that it is documented that the consumer verbally abused one of our managers with profanity-laced language.

    It was during this conversation that the consumer expressed her desire to cancel her order. It was immediately canceled and refunded in full.

    In parting, we wish the consumer the absolute best in her new mattress search.

    After surgery I needed a new bed, I ordered Saatva because of all the great reviews. My ship date was moved 3 times, the last time I called twice and talked to two different agents. The first one told me that the mattress was ready, they were just waiting for the base, no time frame for delivery. I found a suitable base to purchase. Called back and was told that the mattress was NOT made. I was told possibly 3 weeks or perhaps five...I ordered this early in June and now we are talking August delivery. I did see on their website that they were having a further sale, why continue selling if you do not have the materials. The only good thing is I was able to get a full refund within days. Found a great mattress and base that were delivered in one week.. Just be honest with customers. Bottom line can't be trusted.

    Buyers beware, Is your company still in operation? We are starting to worry about the $2,500.00 we spent on your products. We placed an order on June 6th, 36 days ago. We expected to receive the goods by 6/27 at the latest per the window on your receipt. This was the mislead. We then opened a support ticket on July 2nd, we were promised a follow up call "after the holiday weekend". That follow up call did not come. I then had a support chat on 7/10, 2 days ago on Saturday. The support person said they’d “call the manager”, whatever that means, and didn’t get an answer. We were then told “he would get back to us Monday”. It’s Monday 7/12 at 8pm and nobody has contacted us, let down by the Saatva company yet again.

    So we've desperately emailed, chatted, called, all of it to figure out where our mattress or our money is, desperate for someone to reach out to me or my fiancé to ensure we haven’t been scammed out of $2,500. I cant even tell if this is legitimate at this point. We're out a mattress, cant get answers, and I'm now in the process of desperately looking up the CEO on LinkedIn in attempts to send a private message.

    I placed my order #** on 6/13/21. According to their progress indicator, my order of king mattress and bed frame were produced on 6/16/21 (impressively quick). I called them the next day to schedule the delivery and while I couldn't speak to a live person, I left a voicemail. Few hours later someone returned my call and assured me that my order will be delivered ASAP, I should expect a call within the next 48-72 hours to schedule the actual delivery. I also stressed out to that CSR that I am traveling for the 7/4 weekend and I will be away for a while, so I want the bed and mattress delivered before my departure. (Their system automatically calculates 21 days of production/delivery, so at the time of me placing the order, the scheduled ETA was set to 7/4/21! Right, someone will deliver my stuff on July 4th!!!)

    Well, 3 days later no one actually bother to call me, so I followed up with an e-mail and voicemail (there is no other way to reach them. Well, unless you cheat their AVR that you want to place a new order). Then I received two e-mails (6/23/21) confirming delivery scheduled for 6/29/21, within the timeframe of 1 pm-6 pm. Today, 6/29/21, since no one from the white-glove delivery company called me to confirm the delivery I called SAATVA to ask them to relay to the delivery team the access code to my community, and one very angry CSR told me this is impossible as they are en route but I should stay put because they will be on time and call me when at the gates! And they did not!

    By the time I am writing this I haven’t heard from SAATVA nor the delivery company. One simple call with an apology for the delay, for whatever reason – Covid, the truck ran out of gas, it is rainy in Texas, etc., would’ve been a gesture of common courtesy. But no, they are arrogant liars. It would’ve been a different story if the delay is due to broken supply chain, but my order was manufactured and ready for delivery since 6/19/21 – 10 days ago!

    So I assume two scenarios – 1. They have difficulties with the supply chain (but the progress indicator doesn’t make sense then) or 2. They wait until someone with goods of the kind in my order decide to not keeping them past the 180 days trial period, so they can go collect the bed and mattress and dump them to me. I will likely cancel my order and go with a different company (Macy’s are great), along of course reporting them to BBB!!! DO NOT BUY FROM SAATVA!!!

    Absolute WORST mattress bying experience EVER!!! Purchased a King Loom and Leaf Mattress that was SO HARD it left bruises all along the left side of my thigh, along with the frame. Requested a return of the mattress after months of promises that it would "contour to my body" and needs to be broken in, because it was so ridiculously uncomfortable. It was so bad, I opted to sleep on couch instead. They refunded my entire purchase, including the frame which I intended, without my consent. Now they're telling me I can NOT keep the frame THAT I PAID FOR, because THEY refunded it, and it would be too much of a hassle to do whatever they have to do administratively to just charge me for the frame alone.

    Once I decided I didn't want the mattress anymore, the customer service went completely downhill. The only way I could get someone on the phone (because CS doesn't pick up, and you have to leave a message -- they never return your call) was to dial in and select the "new customer" option as if I wanted to place an order. They have reps to take new orders, but never any to help existing customers. Typical. Not to mention I scheduled a pick up...delivery was supposed to be here at noon, and arrived after 4 pm when I was in the middle of a training, so I had to send them away. And I'm STILL waiting for them to schedule another. Absolutely ridiculous.

    We received our 2nd Saatva Classic Firm mattress this morning. The first was delivered over one month ago and was moldy so we did not accept the delivery. The Saatva customer representatives were nothing but lovely and helpful but the service has been awful!! We got differing stories every time we called for an update - we were told it would be delivered within days and then nothing. The next rep told us, "no, the previous person was incorrect." Finally, we received a call telling us our mattress would be delivered the following Thursday.

    My husband and I waited from 10 A.M. to 11 P.M. and nothing. Not even a phone call. The Saatva company contracts out delivery in our areas to White Hawk Logistics and they are rude and the service is terrible!! When the mattress was delivered today, the plastic covering was so filthy we had to ask the delivery persons to clean their hands before handling the mattress. But it didn't matter because the plastic was already torn before it was on the truck and our new mattress is filthy! It is disgusting! We have not even slept on it yet or I would have rejected it. However, since we have no other mattress (we got rid of our old mattress before the first moldy one was delivered) we had no choice. This has been the worst experience in recent memory and I will never buy from this company again. I don't know if the mattress is any good but at this point I would not recommend the company to anyone!

    After waiting two and a half weeks from the time we placed our order and were told that our mattress would arrive no later than three weeks later and seeing zero movement on our track our order web site, we finally were able to get in touch with a real person. That individual informed me that because of COVID they were running behind and delivery would be scheduled for a week later than we had been originally told. Later that same day the representative called to inform me that because of COVID they could not get a needed material and now the delivery would be postponed an additional three weeks!

    Had it not been for our text, call and email attempts to contact them we would have been left in the dark on delivery. As it was, we had to pretend that we were ordering a product in order to get through to a human. They may have a great product but they are sorely lacking in the communications and customer service departments. Highly recommend that if shopping for a mattress that you look elsewhere. For my part, I cancelled the order and demanded an immediate refund which to their credit they did provide.

    Inconsistency on terms and conditions on discounts and sales. Policy clearly states one discount per order yet mine had two applied from the outset. The website after the order phished for me to put in my email and phone number for marketing purposes for an additional 225 off on an order more than 1k. I contacted support to apply this additional discount and was told there was a maximum of 300 off and one discount only. Ironic because my original order already was against this policy and nowhere in their policy did it mention a maximum dollar amount. My gut and experience with companies that nickel and dime like this tend to nickel and dime on install, support, and returns.

    The other concern is my support chat was with a general manager of the company. That is concerning for a 10 year old company that supposedly has over a 100 million in revenue. Seems reviews and info online about this company might be smoke and mirrors. Most likely will buy the base from the company that manufactures it for Saatva and get the Four Seasons mattress. Also, it appears they are having problems with their supply chain and wouldn’t get our order anyways anytime soon. So glad I cancelled my order and dodged this bullet.

    Ordered 2 mattress on March 3rd 2021. It is now June 1st and I do not have my mattress or even a date on when to expect them. Customer service just says reads their lines about covid affecting production. It'd been over a year. They should have some solid schedule of when and how many mattress are being produced. All I get for an answer is "due to how popular our mattress are, and because of covid." None of that helps me as customer. I need to know dates. ...so then what they begin to do is say your mattress is ready and will be on the truck Thursday. It'd been 4 Thursdays and apparently 4 trucks that just never make it. When I question this. I get told that the CSR should have never of said that it was ready to go on the truck...so now they continue to misinform me as a customer and blatantly lie about delivery estimates.

    THE orders ahead of me maybe a month ahead...when did they get their items? They can't even tell me that. I wish Saatva would be transparent about an actual delivery time frame. If not 7 to 21 days then Say the truthful times 2 to 4 months. I just want my mattresses. Hundreds and hundreds of these bad reviews could have been avoided if Saatva wasn't so scared of being clear and transparent with its customers.

    The purchase and delivery of the mattress was smooth and without issue. My wife and I liked that there was a 180 day trial. We ultimately decided we didn't want to keep the mattress. We felt it was smaller than our prior queen mattress and both thought we "slept hot" on it. That's when the customer service became an issue. Initiating the return involved speaking with a customer rep that tried to convince us that our experience was uncommon and questioned our reasons for wanting to return. Regardless they indicated that they would begin the process and we would be contacted to coordinate pickup of the mattress. Weeks went by and no one contacted us. We had to call them and they became increasingly difficult to reach, and requiring us to invest more and more time to ensure the return was completed. More time went by and another customer service call to try to get them to complete the return. Meanwhile we continued to be charged by Klarna.

    There didn't seem to be very good communication between Saatva, the delivery/pickup company, and the financing company. Klarna continued to send us late payment warnings about our "delinquency" weeks after we initiated the return with Saatva. Overall it has been an inept display of customer service. If you are thinking of going with Saatva and the 180 trial period guarantee is helping to sway your decision, just know that should you choose to not keep the mattress, you are in for a pretty significant time commitment to coordinate it and the onus is on you, the customer, to ensure the coordination is happening in order to return the mattress.

    I have owned two Saatva mattresses over the past decade. After I wrote a less-than-stellar review on a website regarding my current Saatva Mattress (which was giving me back pain), I was sad to discover that my account was removed from their store. This made it difficult for me to research how many years I actually owned this mattress prior to making a decision on buying a new one.

    If this is Saatva's way of saying they no longer want my business due to a lackluster review I gave, then so be it. However, removing my account for doing so is just not good business overall. EDIT: I did receive a response from Saatva on another review site denying they removed my account and even stated I was never a customer of theirs. This is very sad. I have bought two mattresses from them. They know I am a customer. They know I had an account. I have the account information recorded in my password software. That account absolutely existed. I can't even use the recover account information option as it doesn't recognize the email address I had been using on their site.

    The most telling part of this company's reply is that they didn't even offer to locate my original account information. They just went into immediate denial mode that they took this action. For the company to deny that they did not remove the account is not only very troubling but a warning for others.

    I researched mattresses online & in stores. I went with Saatva for the quality & affordability. I placed my order in March. I STILL have yet to receive my mattress. The transfer date from production is pushed back by two week each time a new deadline approaches. I have been living, working, & sleeping in my living room on my couch since March. We are approaching mid-May. My new transfer date is not until mid-May. Wonder if that one is going to get pushed too?

    I ordered a Saatva Mattress on March 10, 2021. They promised delivery in 10 to 14 days. I called Saatva on April 1 to inquire, since the mattress should have arrived by March 24. The person who answered the phone apologized for the delay, and refunded my Visa account $50 for my having to put up with the delay. He said that the mattress would arrive by April 21. He also re-wrote my invoice so it looked like my order date was April 1 (rather than the actual order date of March 10). Why re-write the invoice and update the order date? I suppose he wanted it to look better for Saatva.

    Anyway, the mattress did not arrive by April 21. I phoned Saatva on April 22 to cancel the order. He said OK. I asked how long it would take for the refund to appear on my Visa account, and he said, "3 to 5 days." Five days has passed, and the refund has still not posted to my account. Tomorrow, I will have to file a dispute with Visa. They owe me $2,138.91 and I resent having to chase them down for the refund -- after all, I waited in good faith for over 40 days for them to deliver the mattress which never arrived.

    I purchased from this mattress company on March 3rd of 2021. On the website it says, "due to Covid-19, we are experiencing delays up 15-30 days." I decide to purchase (big mistake). I receive a date of when that will be purchased and I begin to wait. On the day of when I am supposed to receive an email/phone call, I receive nothing. So I decide to call. Guess what? No call waiting for an online e-commerce company. If you want to reach someone you have to dial over and over again until someone picks up.

    Once I finally get ahold of someone, they tell me my mattress is delayed another 30 days. The customer service representative then tells me, "well you have already waited this long, why not wait another 30 days?" ARE YOU SERIOUS? This actually happens 3 more times. It is not 90 days from my purchase and still no mattress. SAATVA will lie about their delivery times, they actually do not even deliver themselves. They out-source to another company which is not "White-Glove" at all. They false advertise, they will bait you along and take your money.

    This company is worth roughly 375M and cannot afford call-waiting or to reach out to another manufacturer. Save yourself the trouble and just go to a mattress store because this company basically sells a worse version of a Serta wrapped in lies and deceit. A mattress store will give you your mattress same-day and you will not destroy your back for months - I have reported them to BBB and I am currently suing them. Do not go down my Rabbit-hole and destroy your sanity. Go to Macy's or anywhere else and buy a mattress. DO NOT BUY FROM SAATVA. Sincerely, A Broken Back

We are a hard-working American company that has always prided itself on putting our customers first.     On the day the consumer purchased, he was quoted exactly what we expected the delivery time for his premium luxury handcrafted mattress to be. As we were notified of additional delays from the factory, we notified him. At every contact, the consumer had the option of canceling his order with us for an immediate full refund. He chose not to do so and to keep his business with us. In fact, it was Saatva who canceled the consumer's order (and issued a full refund) after he became verbally abusive and threatened physical violence on both our employees and delivery partners.

    You will never receive it. I placed an order 2 months ago - the website states that delivery is supposed to happen in 9-21 days - what a joke! At that point, they promised a mattress by today - two months after my order - and I get a phone call telling me that it will be delayed at least another full month. Meanwhile, they keep running sales on their website and mention nothing of delays in filling orders on it. Only buy a Saatva if you want to pay $1500 to sleep on your floor for three months.

    We ordered our mattress about a month ago give or take a few days. We were told it would be delivered by the end of March... Yeah I know pandemic= strain on supply chains. I work in the supply chain industry and know better than promising something to my customers that I am not sure I can make happen. As we got closer to the first promised date, we kept trying to log in to the website and check the status of our order. The status did not update, at all, for weeks, only showing it was being processed. Finally on Monday, via the online chat option “Joseph” tells me the delivery team has my mattress and it should be at my house Wednesday. Today is that Wednesday and no mattress. We go back to the online chat and speak to good ol’ Joey and he offers a $100 refund... I’m guessing for time and suffering. At this point I am ready to cancel the entire order and get a Purple/pink whatever color name the bed in a box thing is.

    Curiosity gets the better of me and I call the phone number ol’ Joey gave me and spoke to a real live person... Actually heard their voice and them breathing, for the first time throughout this entire ordeal. The gentleman I spoke to with the delivery company told me he was going to walk down to the warehouse himself to verify that they in fact had the mattress and he would call me back. Sure ’nuff about 7 minutes later he calls me back and he has not only seen but touched my mattress. Not going to lie up until this point I honestly thought we had been taken by a fake company for $1800. The downside to today’s communication, he doesn’t know when they will be in my state again to deliver it to me.

    Hold on one sec, remember Joey (no not the one from Full house). He told me I would have my mattress by Wednesday, I relayed this to the delivery team member/supervisor. He informs me that Joey has no business promising that to anyone and he apologized. That’s cool I appreciate that, I’m also not convinced that Joey isn’t a monkey train to hit specific buttons that provide certain responses. The delivery supervisor tells me he is going to send my information over to scheduling as well as call them so that they can get my mattress to me ASAP. I like him. He was nice and was the first person to offer me any real answers beside trying to throw $100 in my face. I just spent $1800 with you guys, do you really think one Benjamin Franklin is going to make a difference when it comes to my opinion about the customer service I have received so far? If it does, then I have no business buying a $1800 mattress period.

    Throw out the bed in the box and get this! We tried three well known beds in a box, woke up with pain with all of them. After doing a ton of due diligence, I went with the Saatva Classic (plush) and this bed is a slice of heaven! We sleep more soundly, dream more, need less sleep yet wake up refreshed but don't want to get out of bed! LOL. Oh and no more hip or shoulder pain (for those side sleepers out there). Lastly, customer service is awesome and respond in a timely manner. A+.

    I ordered a Saatva classic luxury firm mattress and Copenhagen bed frame. The mattress arrived on time, however the delivery truck forgot the bed frame and I had to wait 3 days for the frame to come. When the frame arrived the delivery company refused to bring the bed inside and would not set up the bed, so much for white glove delivery. I spent the afternoon setting up the bed (4 hours). Once it was set up I got into it only to find a loud creaking noise coming from the frame. I checked all the bolts to ensure everything was correctly assembled and to my dismay the bed was noises despite having put it together properly. I would have never bought this frame had I known this was going to be the experience. The thought of taking it all apart and boxing it up to send back is just awful and I am very disappointed with this purchase. Saatva has failed to meet my expectations and I regret purchasing this bed frame.

    Firsty, we received our mattress timely & everything went well. I really liked the mattress but my wife didn’t. We let the company know, so they offered us a free mattress topper. Again, I liked the comfort level but my wife did not. We then exchanged our mattress for another model. That was a simple process & we paid $100 for the new delivery. That mattress didn’t work for my wife, so we decided to purchase a different bed. Things went bad when we asked for our refund.

    We paid $1799 + tax for our bed. They sent us a refund of $1616. So I sent an email asking for a correct amount. I received a CALL from a Dante in customer service. He left a VM. I called him (left a vm) back & asked for an email statement of the refund. He called me back & stated (via voice mail) they only discuss refunds over the phone, no email or text. At this point, after several voicemails I’m very frustrated. Why won’t this company send me a return invoice breaking down the refund? It’s extremely shady in my opinion.

    They have delivered on everything they promised up until this point. Now they ruined their name/brand reputation in my mind & have forced me to write this review. I left Dante another voice mail. I asked him to have a manager call me. He chose to ignore my request & call me again. I simply want an email breakdown of my refund. He claimed I wasn’t shorted any money, but he didn’t give me an explanation or a breakdown. I really don’t believe I’m asking too much.

    I read many reviews prior to buying this mattress. It felt like a good decisional the time, but I am now regretting it. I purchased product on 3/8/21 and it is 3/30/21 and I still have not received my mattress. I couldn't track the product after purchase b/c Saatva system would not take my password and would not let me re-set it either. I couldn't speak to a human b/c no one answers the phone and VM was full. Wrote an email, saying I thought customer service was poor, asking for help w/status of mattress delivery and my password. Recvd. email from Tessa telling me to refresh screen-REALLY!

    I received a VM from delivery people on 3/23 around noon "telling" me they would deliver on 3/25 between 9-11. They didn't ask me if that was convenient, it wasn't. Never heard from them again. I wrote emails and recvd. response from Andre saying he tried to call. Finally, spoke with a really nice lady-Gloria-who followed/up with me several times, but she was unable to get any response from the delivery people. I called delivery people repeatedly and spoke with Gloria multiple times to get a new delivery date, but to no avail. 3/29 I called delivery people again-this time from a landline- and a woman picked up and proceeded to try and pick a fight w/me saying that she had called 3 times. That may be true-in her dreams- but she never left a message and I have no calls from their number (434)200-9191, except the original call on 3/23.

    Finally, spoke w/Gloria again today, poor thing she can not be responsible for other people not doing their job, but said she had tried and tried to get a new delivery date, but too avail and she would push it up to her Logistics Supervisor. Well, I just want my mattress, but at this point would settle for a refund, but will forevermore discourage people from dealing with this irresponsible company. Honestly, how can I trust what they say when they cannot be troubled to hold their own delivery "team" members responsible to ensure the product, that I paid for 3 weeks ago, is delivered?

    I am really not sure what to do now. As Kristel from Customer Service posted here responding to others' reviews, maybe she will see this and actually push to get my mattress to me-I am doubtful though. It really shouldn't be this hard & even if I do eventually get my mattress, I cannot recommend a company that has so little respect for their customers, let alone their revenue source. I bet if zillionaires Ron Rudzin-Pres./CEO of Saatva or Ricky Joshi-founder were customers receiving this type of treatment they would be disappointed/mad too. I sign off as a disappointed and unhappy customer, uncertain of when or if I will get my mattress anytime soon.

    Their delivery times are a lie! Chat support worthless! Phone line goes straight to voicemail! Email response said they can’t respond for 72 hours! Ordered mattress and foundation on Mar 3. Supposed to be delivered in 9-15 days. Checked order status every day (it progresses through about 7 steps). As of today, March 21st, it’s still stuck on step 1 which is “order received”. 18 days and zero movement, but they were paid in full on day 1. Such a crock of bull. Their excuse for unacceptable production and lying to their buyers is the pandemic. It is their safety net. Just received an email that due to the “pandemic”, it will be at least another 2 weeks. Do not trust this company! Very misleading. Chat, email and voicemail all preface the same excuse. I haven’t been successful reaching a human being at this company.

    This review is about the return process not about the mattress. I hope it helps if any of you were like I was and on the fence with trusting a home trial not having a bunch of fine print. My wife and I purchased a Saatva Classic Luxury Firm. It was NOT the mattress for us. The first 4 nights I loved it. Then my back (I have a L5/S1 spondy) got worse and worse. We tried it for 140 days. That’s how much we hoped this would work as we are so tired of the mattress hunt.

    At 2am, On the 140th night, uncomfortable and frustrated, I called the 1-800 number expecting to yell at a voicemail. A live person answered and processed my return within seconds. Didn’t try to sell me on an exchange or make a bunch of stupid suggestions like adding toppers etc. Literally, all the person said after I gave my information was “I am so sorry the mattress did not work out for you. I have processed your return claim and you should receive an email within a few days with instructions.” The whole call took less than 30 seconds.

    I had the entire refund minus 99 dollars for the return fee in my account within 48 hrs! It might have even been later that same day. 4 days later, I received a text with a number to call a local service and schedule the pickup on a day of my choosing with a 4 hour time window. I am blown away at the customer experience. They did what they said they would and did not try to make me jump through a bunch of hoops or escalate calls. If you are thinking of trying a Saatva, feel safe doing so.

    Let me be honest, the mattress I am reviewing was purchased at the end of 2016 so perhaps they have truly changed for the better. We have chosen to sleep on the couch at times to avoid this mattress. It is firm, so firm, and so uncomfortable. We told Saatva that it was too firm and that we wanted to return it. They promised that the mattress topper they would send would make all the difference and allow it to "break in." It most certainly didn't (and the bed still hasn't broken in) but in the process of waiting for it to break in, we missed the return period. Don't make our mistake. You don't sink in, not at all. We saved up a lot of money for this purchase and have regretted it ever since. I know most people would have just bought a new mattress by now, but we didn't have the funds to completely replace this mistake right away. We are so looking forward to a new bed sometime in the near future. It will most certainly NOT come from Saatva.

    We were moving from Florida to Texas in January 2021, to a brand new home, and wanted to have the Adjustable Platform/Solaire Adjustable mattresses arrive soon after arriving from our move. Online it shows every time you place the frame and mattress in the cart, the approximate date it will arrive within a few days, and usually within 10 days from ordering. So I waited and waited; then ordered so the timing would be right. Directly after ordering, Saatva calls to let me know it will be delivered in 45 days. I expressed my displeasure as the website is clearly a mess. Had the website informed me it would take 45 days, I would have made the order 45 days before moving. But there is nothing you can do except cancel.

    I even offered them the same treatment by them sending me the order first and they waiting 45 days for me to pay them, but that did not go over so well for some reason. So I accepted the deal even though the only one doing what they promised was me in paying them up front. 45 days came and went, and finally, after me calling them on day 60 (yes 60!), they got our order delivered later in the week. All the hype and luxurious 5 Star, White Glove service for delivery and set up was just that - HYPE! Two guys delivered the bed system; wore no protective shoe coverings so we had to give them the ones we had; scratched up our new painted walls carrying the boxes in and up the stairs; and neither had a single tool for anything. They had to use mine.

    They put the frame together, put the mattresses on top (we have a Split King system), plugged everything in, turned on the air filling pump and left. That was it! No instructions, no information, and 1 bed filled right up perfectly. The other twin for my side of the king bed did not, but I could hear it trying to pump air. Since I am a retired electrical engineer, and did not want to go thru the hassle of having a repair service call right out of the package that most likely would need the use of my tools and shoe protection, I opened the lower section of the mattress to have a look. The air pump was pumping, but the bed was not filling up. I took the air hose loose and reconnected it. Then it began filling up properly. The hose had not been fully attached at the 5 Star Factory that charges a 7 Star Price for the bed. I carefully put it all back together and closed up the mattress.

    This was our experience and the only reason I give them 3 Stars is because the bed is great for sleeping as it can be adjusted so very soft to very firm, which is exactly the difference between what my wife and I want. Great for sitting up and also for Zero Gravity setting. It also has a massage setting, which is completely worthless. I figured that going in as no bed can give you a massage and we really did not plan to use it anyway. All in all, the bed is great, but the human portion of the deal is 1 Star at best. If you plan to buy one of these you really need to plan ahead as no matter what their website promises, the bed will not arrive in the parameters promised. Plus the bed is really easy to set up on your own, so don't buy into that 5 Star, White Glove nonsense. But the portion of the deal where you pay up front works perfect.

    I called to ask when the sale would end. The sales rep. told me and gave me his direct line in case I had more questions. I thought price might have gone up so on the last day of the sale, before placing my order, I called to find out if it had and to ask if I could get the lower price from a week earlier. He gave me the lower price, answered all of my questions, helped me decide which mattress to order, offered the mattress cover without pressure of any kind (I did not purchase it), remained patient and professional throughout the call, and even offered to add a note to try and get my mattress delivered as soon as possible. Even if it doesn’t get to me any sooner, the fact that he wanted to help and that the company’s system allows for a note like that really made my day.     Wish we'd figured out we both didn't like our Solaire in time to return it. First the good: Well, honestly the best thing I can say about it is that it isolates movement fairly well. I can get out of bed to go running and not wake my wife. Delivery guys were good, but initially didn't want to take away the old bed, which was irksome. But they set it up quickly. The bad: Honestly, this isn't nearly as adjustable as the marketing says. It literally feels like slapping a foam topper on an air mattress for camping. Ever wake up while camping and the air mattress has deflated? Yeah, this feels similar. Better, but similar. The ugly: The adjustment device is very fiddly. You click up, it doesn't go up. You click up and hold, and it inflates, but doesn't stop at a number you want when you release. I wake up in the morning on a different number than I thought I went to bed sleeping on. It's honestly really irritating to use and I don't like being irritated right when I'm going to bed.

    The edge of the mattress is not firm, it feels like you could roll right off it. As a result, you don't REALLY have as much sleeping space as you'd expect from a king-sized mattress. And that's a big disappointment. The lump in the middle between the two sides of the bed is VERY pronounced. And honestly, it also reduces the actual sleeping area you have. Again, disappointing for a king sized mattress. Last, it's just lousy for making whoopie. Seriously, it's a "dead" feeling underneath you, and works against you when occupied in that way. Honestly that's just lame for any mattress. Overall, I would not recommend this mattress unless you REALLY want a mattress that isolates motion on the two sides of the bed. If that is of utmost importance to you, then great. If you want true adjustability, a solid edge, and consistent support beneath you, keep looking.

    We bought the Saatva Solaire Queen Split bed. It stinks. It is too small and you feel like you are going to fall right off onto the floor. It is cumbersome, the sheets are absolutely ridiculous, and there is no mattress topper that goes with the split. Without the mattress topper you are literally sleeping on a plastic pool float covered with a sheet. The people who came to set the bed up were inefficient. After they left, we had to try to figure out how to program the controls.

    Eventually, we did, but for over $5,000 you would think that they would have spent some time. The delivery people took the brackets for our headboard and threw them into the corner of our bedroom. There are no instructions on how to install the headboard and it seems that a degree from MIT is needed to figure it out. I have been writing to Saatva customer service and they actually blame COVID-19 for not giving us instructions and not answering our emails. NOWHERE on the internet are the instructions.

    The Saatva promise is that you can try the bed for 60 or 90 days and if you do not care for it they take it back. THIS IS TOTAL **. They may take back the mattress, but the frame and platform come from a different company and that company gives no such promise. So, you're stuck. How many times did we ask, are you sure that you will take this bed back if we do not care for it? Because, it seems too good to be true. "Ohhhh, yessss, definitely," they said. If you need a new bed, go anywhere but to Saatva. They are a deceptive rip off and to blame their extremely poor customer service on a pandemic is shameful. What was the excuse before Coronavirus? Just don't get involved with Saatva.

    I cannot believe I paid $1000 for this mattress. I ordered a luxury firm queen mattress and it is hard as a rock. When I tried to return it, the company shied away and offered a pillow topper to help out. This is just a small piece of cotton padding and made no real difference. It's been months since I have had this product and it still gives me a backache, when I have never had back issues before purchase. 100% would not recommend this product.

    I purchased a king size Saatva Solaire mattress on Jan 12, 2021 and it still have not arrived (February 10, 2021) despite claim on 9-15day white glove delivery. I got an e-mail this week that it will be another 2week delay. Their website still lists their delivery time of 9-15 days even though they know they cannot deliver to it. They claim delays are related to the pandemic but you would think they understand how the pandemic is impacting their supply chain and shipping schedule after 10 months! Oh, by the way, they charge your credit card on the day you order, not the day they ship. I complained to the company and suggested they quote realistic delivery times, and not charge people until they ship the product. I am sure the mattress will be nice, I just don't know since I am still waiting.

    My wife and I have had our king size Saatva mattress for six years. We are large frame folk, with a collective weight of about 430 lbs. This Saatva mattress has been excellent. After six years it still doesn’t have body impressions ( we rotate mattress every 6 months). We always look forward to getting home from a trip and back to the Saatva. It is important to get the firmness that best works for you however, but you’d be hard pressed to beat the quality of a Saatva mattress for the price! (this was an unsolicited review, we just wanted say “thanks Saatva!”)

    "After looking up reviews of top mattresses on Bestreviews.com, I was directed to the Loom & Leaf bed. I read a lot of the reviews and was skeptical because nothing is ever that great. I was wrong. We order a king size mattress with level 7 firmness and my wife (who has had 2 disc surgeries) finally had a night's sleep with no pain. I find myself not tossing and turning during the night as I did before. We both love this mattress and would give it 10 stars if we could. My oldest son laid down on the bed after we got it and he ordered him one as well that night. Saatva you have lifetime customers. Please don’t change a thing with your product."

    I really wanted a Saatva Mattress after researching mattresses and returning a different brand that didn't work out. I had to cancel my order after SEVEN weeks passing before my mattress was made. Even at that time, there was no guesstimate possible as to how much longer it would take. For that reason, I ordered a competitive product, which was also made to order, but delivered in 10 business days. Saatva's customer service agent Morgan, was fantastic. However, the supply chain had a total fail and Saatva lacks any appropriate communication process in place to obtain any scheduling information from their manufacturing partners. They can do better, and I am sure at some point soon, they will.

    We ordered the Saatva Classic and have had it for about 4 months. I never dreamed I could sleep so much better. Both my husband and I are getting more sleep and loving the feel of this mattress. It's cool, it's comfortable, it makes me want to go to bed! I highly recommend the product and Saatva's service. The delivery was exceptional and much appreciated during the pandemic. We will replace another mattress with Saatva soon!

    I give 5 stars for customer service - but mattress quality not great. I ordered the 14 inch soft plush mattress which was great - however taller than stated and was actually 16.5 in with the pillow top. I decided to switch out for the 11 inch mattress. However when the 11 in mattress arrived the pillow top section was not fully filled and had about 50% less "pillow" stuffing than my first mattress. I decided to keep the taller mattress and just deal with it... until about 1 months later the pillow top was flat and the mattress was now quite firm and causing my back to hurt and my hips to go numb at night. Had to return....bummer. But customer service was truly top notch!

    Posting this to make sure that other buyers don't get caught in the same mess which I did!!! After doing a gazillion reviews, I thought I found the perfect match with Saatva and was super excited, only for the mattress to never arrive, yes you heard it right, it never arrived!!! More than delay, their weird customer service and continuous dishonesty this entire time totally baffled me!

    So I've been nursing back and hip injuries of late, I placed an order towards the end of last year and they advertised everywhere an estimated delivery of as early as Jan 08th to the max of 15th, I was using another mattress which didn't help in my pain but was approaching end of return date, so I requested them for pickup in the week of 15th since before that every time I talked to Saatva customer service folks, they all said with utmost confidence that the mattress is under construction and should definitely be shipping in that timeframe.

    Their site was showing no update on my mattress whatsoever and as anyone in pain will do, so I kept on checking multiple times since they have a supposedly good 24*7 service. On checking before 8th, they were like, "All good with mattress and call back on 8th to check on shipping," on my 8th’s call they were like, "All good call back on 12th" and on 12th they said, "Call back on 15th" and guess what? On 15th on blasting the guy on call I understood, it was all a lie till now and heard that the work on my mattress haven't even started and even their factory was closed for a while.

    I could understand some delay in timelines, we all come across that somewhere but why to be this dishonest? So after a couple of phony apologies, on my last day of shipping 15th, I came to know that my item will take further 2 more weeks at least. So I had to cancel my order and look for something else and since I had no mattress whatsoever at that moment, my back had been seriously bruised by sleeping on floor thanks to these guys.

    Their customer service guys were the worst, looks like they hired idiotic 18 yos who give really weird answers. Other than Hazim, everyone was a legend in their own right. Like I asked a guy around 12th about if he could give me an estimated date since I was already into my timeframe of Jan 8-15 and this guy responded with “we have a clause in our terms and conditions which says we can go as much beyond our timeline”, I was like, "What??? I just want an estimate date that’s it, I was not asking for legal terms and conditions" and still he never provided any …

    Still, since my heart was set on this mattress, I had already passed the earlier 2 week shipping timeframe and getting another mattress would still take some time, I still called these guys a couple of hours after my cancellation to see if they can revert my cancellation and can get me my mattress in a week or so. This customer service guy’s legendary take was “no, you are probably better off with something like Casper mattress” :D Only after 3 days of my cancellation and my money returned, they sent me a text saying “Due to Covid, our production is delayed by 10 days”, it was so timely and helpful lool. As if these guys are the only people on the planet who is impacted by it.

    We take great offense at the falsehoods Aamir leveled in his complaint.  First and foremost of which, is his claim that we are somehow being dishonest.  We go to great lengths to make our consumers aware of potential delays both before and after their purchase is made, not to mention it is stated on all sales receipts.  We take equal offense to his personal attacks on our customer service representatives who give their all day in and day out to assist our clientele.

    During these truly unprecedented times, there have been numerous rolling disruptions to the supply chain.  Throughout it, we have remained committed to the safety of the workers in our American factories and will do nothing to compromise the quality of our premium luxury products.  All along, we have done our absolute best to keep each and every customer updated on the progress of their order.

    We are sorry the consumer doesn't see it this way, but we have worked hard to earn a pristine reputation by doing things the right way and will defend that reputation vigilantly against false narratives such as the one being told here.

    We got the medium firm at first and it was fine for a couple years although my husband started having aches and pains. We got the firm for 200 and it was ok for about 6 months then we both started having pain. We are young and in shape. The bed caves in on the sides. I wake every morning with my lower back feeling locked and in pain. We will not purchase one again.

    Updated on 10/25/2022: In January 12, 2021 Saatva replaced my newly bought mattress, by a Saatva Classic firm, because my original new mattress started making a great deal of squeaking noises every time we move about or sat on it. The new mattress started to come apart from the inside thus, resulting on a hump in the middle of the mattress and is only 1 year and 8 months old. This happened spontaneously and there is no explanation for what happened, as I weight 145 lbs and I am the only person sleeping on the mattress. It boils down to poor craftsmanship and the lack of quality control at the Saatva factory. I have a number of pics to show the camel effect of the mattress and hope that someone from Saatva calls me and help me understand how this "new" replacement mattress could come apart with my feather weight.     Original Review: The mattress is extremely soft in spite that Saatva advertises that it is firm. After 4 months, the springs in the mattress started making sounds every time we move at night and more specifically if you sit in the edge or corner. We are waking up every day with back pain because the mattress concave down. For $1000.00, we expected a great deal more than just an ordinary 2 start hotel mattress! We are exploring in trashing the mattress that is brand new to say the least.

    NEVER AGAIN. I bought a king size bed, adjustable base and a headboard from Saatva in August. In September, they delivered it, but could not attach the headboard because parts were missing. After several attempts at emailing, texting and calling them, I finally was contacted back to get the problem resolved. The installers came out once again, but the bed was still missing the parts to install the headboard properly. Again, I made several attempts to get anyone to call back to me about the problem.

    Finally, I spoke to the manager about getting the parts (sideboards and footboard) delivered and installed, she said that they would take care of everything and ensure that the installers would have the expertise and the parts. When the installers called me to come out to fix it, they explained that no one from Saatva had contacted them to advise them on what to do. Again, I repeatedly called and texted Saatva to ensure the installers received the correct information. Finally, after I wrote a complaint email detailing my repeated attempts to contact the company and stating that I was going to contact American Express to ask for a refund, my headboard was properly installed in mid-December. Seriously, one of the worst experiences I have had on a purchase.

    I ordered 2 mattresses from them, 2 weeks apart. I did this intentionally: I wanted the first one to arrive ASAP, but the second one was far less urgent. I told Saatva this. Instead, they delayed my first order until my second order was ready, so they could save on shipping and send them both at the same time. Shame on them. No true luxury company would try to save a few bucks on delivery fees, at the expense of customer satisfaction.

    Updated on 7/13/2021: We were quickly contacted by Saatva both on this site and by phone. They offered to replace the mattress again - as it carries a 15 year warranty. At first we declined and really wanted a refund. Refunds aren't allowed outside the 180 day trial. Unfortunately the issues didn't start until after the 180 days. After much discussion the rep thought we should try a firmer mattress at no charge. I decided to wait to re-review it. We received the mattress in November of 2020 and to be honest, it's not any better. It lasted a bit longer than the first two but began sagging in the butt area and is now caving towards the middle. Sadly we are out the money and need a new mattress. On a positive note, they do have great customer service and did try to correct the issues but I'm not sure how these things go 15 years.

    Original review: We ordered a Saatva Luxury Firm in April of 2019. By July of 2020, I called to report that it was sagging well over 2". The customer service agent informed me that rotating it would fix that....Huh? Now I'm sleeping in my husband's sag spot and he's sleeping in mine - Not helping. However, we were given a replacement and I was lectured on the number of mattresses they've sold with no issues. Our replacement came the 3rd week of August 2020. It began sagging in October. My husband's shoulders hurt and we are now mattress shopping. A refund would be nice since the mattress is defective. I definitely don't want another one. Also be warned, the mattresses are warm.

    I received a call today from one of their managers. He gave me detailed information on what was causing the delays. He took my feedback on how to make better use of their automated customer update portal. The biggest source of my misunderstanding was that Saatva does not actually own any of their US factories. Before understanding this, I could not fathom why they could not get an update from their factory at will. They assured me they do have numerous quality control measures in place to make sure that their recipe and specs are being followed.

    I will likely increase this rating to 4 or more if the mattress is indeed delivered within the next 10 to 14 days and is in solid condition. Part of their cost and fulfillment time reduction business model is to outsource the manufacturing to different facilities and to only build them to order. This eliminates storage overhead among other benefits. However in the current environment, the consumer bears the burden and impact of them not having any surplus.

    Management was extremely transparent and seemed to be honest about the situation. Their offer to cancel was meant as a proactive solution where most companies would make you ask for a refund. It was meant to show that my time and money mattered. It was probably more of the blunt way it was offered in contrast to the information I was looking for that came across poorly. Adding in that I am desperate to give my wife some relief from her misery and I have very little patience.

    After years of looking and hesitation, my wife and I decided to order a Saatva Mattress in hopes that it would give me even the slightest of pain relief from a back injury I sustained in the military. She is also in the last weeks of pregnancy (days now) and had been placed on bed rest. The split king we ordered still has not shipped, the online tracker has not updated multiple weeks in to the order. I call about every 3 days asking for an update. I get promises to look into it and a pledge of a return call. Only one person has actually followed through. The answer I get is that the factory is not giving updates. I am extremely frustrated with the lack of communication. When I question this I was actually encouraged to cancel my order and told that there is a disclaimer about delays on their website.

    I am extremely sympathetic to delays and issues related to Covid, but without communication I cannot make fair decisions. I stressed and saved and scrounged to make this purchase and while I am disappointed to not have the product in hand still, I am saddened and offended that I am not valued as a customer. The first solution offered to me when asked for customer service or management to please give me a call so I can understand the situation, was instead to suggest that I cancel my order. In my experience that is usually a sign of a significant back order to the point that a company would endorse order cancellation. Not sure what we are going to do at this point.

    Purchased King Luxury Firm (Classic) about a year ago. I've love it but wife wanted something firmer. Was going to purchase Sleep Number but saw that SAATVA offered same style mattress with more options and, according to many reviews, as good if not better. Ordered mattress on 13 Sep. Received email acknowledging order and provided link to track status of my order. To this day, status of order still reflects only that the order has been received. Called numerous times and no answer, just a recording directing you to their website to check the status of your order which never changes.

    Received email 15 Oct saying someone would contact me within 48 hours to arrange delivery. No contact. Send several emails and texts complaining about lack of contact, finally, on 21 Oct, freight company called and arranged delivery 23 Oct. Delivery was flawless, setup was simple, but one side of mattress would not inflate and once again, no way to contact anyone at SAATVA for assistance (Chat with no response, email, no response). Spent $3000+ dollars for this mattress and I have to resort to "Trouble Shooting" day 1.

    Finally read manual, unzipped mattress exposing pumps and found hose not connected and leaking. Connected hose and inflated. Have set both sides to 50 which is the firmest, held memory for more than 5 seconds, as instructed, but setting still drops to 44 during the night. Absolutely hate it. Chat finally replied the next morning and have requested replacement with King Classic Firm which they have informed me will be 2-3 weeks. Highly recommend the Classic for quality but do not recommend Solaire. Would've rated them 5 stars after my 1st purchase a year or so ago but this will be my last purchase from SAATVA.

    It was a review by Consumer Reports that brought us to Saatva. We were already an air bed user and it was good to see new choices. From the first online chat to delivery, this was a first class operation. Communication was superior. The bed itself is extremely comfortable and appears overbuilt. The adjustment remotes are hard wired, which took some getting use to, but they are basically set and forget. The topper is far superior to my previous air bed with much better heat dispersal. Memory foam has a reputation for holding body heat. Not the case with the Solaire. Whether you are considering an air mattress for the first time or a seasoned sleeper, you won't be disappointed in Saatva. Highly recommend.

    I have no words to describe how great this mattress is!! I have spent in upwards of $5,000 for a mattress in the past, and this mattress outweighs them all!! Comfort, appearance, wait time, delivery, cost...all top notch. After sleeping on this mattress, I would gladly pay double, even triple, what I paid (although it’s great I didn’t have to).     This shouldn't have been a great review due to delay of product arriving, then the wrong product being delivered. That is not the end of the story. Saatva personnel were mortified this had happened, especially due the long wait in the first place. Another mattress was ordered immediately and it arrived in the expected time. The reason I can give five stars is because the mattress itself is worth it, besides the concern staff took to get me the correct mattress. I'm sleeping great and btw, the "wrong mattress" was amazing just not the right firmness for me.

    I purchased the first Mattress in April, 2020. After 45 days of back pain, I had them pick up and I paid an additional $100 to have a replacement sent. I had the replacement for about 2 months and it still was uncomfortable. I was still within the warranty so they picked up - and again lost $100 - which will be taken from the refund. I was told mid-September that the refund would be a check and it would take 7-10 days. I waited 2 weeks, then called. They said now the wait is 3 weeks. I waited 3 weeks. Still no refund. They take forever to reply to emails and do not answer their phone.

    I simply love this mattress. I have a queen-sized firm Saatva Classic and it feels amazing to sleep on it each night. It is firm, does not sag (something I've struggled with every other mattress that I've bought), and fully supports my back. I got it with the Lineal Adjustable Base, and it is worth every penny. I no longer have to stack pillows to raise my head, and can just move the head-side of the frame up, thereby ensuring a perfectly sound sleep without any neck issues.     I am on my feet as a healthcare worker approximately 10 hours a day and come home to spend even more time on my feet as "Mom". My back and hips were hurting all the time the past few years!     Ordered Hybrid Mattress, they charged my account immediately upon receipts of order. After 16 days I contacted by chat to obtain an update on my order. I was informed there was no update and I should try contacting them in another week and they might have an update. I asked what was their average delivering time now with the pandemic. They advised me they did not have that information. So I ended the chat and tried calling customer service. You just get a recording that advised you they are overwhelmed due to the pandemic and you can either leave a message or text them. I went back to Chat and canceled my order. Let's see how long it takes to get my credit! Extremely poor customer service. If they have no idea as to when they are going to be able to complete your order then they shouldn't charge your card until they are ready for delivery.

    ***TERRIBLE QUALITY MATTRESS*** I purchased a king-size luxury firm a few weeks ago. The stitching was all over the place, more than 100 loose threads, loose stitching, uneven stitching around the pillow top, and multiple black stains, as well on the mattress, but more importantly it sagged about 1 1/2 inch deep for about 5-6 inches from the top or bottom (depending on how you place the mattress).

    I also ordered foundation and frame, and the frame was bent and didn't fit the foundation properly. I called customer service the same day it was delivered. I argued that the mattress seemed refurbished and not new, and the frame, as well, since it was banged up. The rep said that they only send out new mattresses... Anyway, he offered to exchanged it. About a week later, I also called them and asked them to send me a firm mattress as the luxury firm felt too soft since I sleep on my back and suffer from lower back pain. They accommodated that request, as well.

    Fast forward a few weeks later to today, 8/25/2020. I took delivery of the exchanged mattress - firm. Not only the stitching is all over the place as was in the first mattress but the sagging at the top/bottom is a lot deeper (more than 2 inches) and much wider (I measured 2+ feet of sagging). So, basically, as you look at the mattress, you see a dip, not even a gradual dip, but just a step-down dip about 2/3 the length from the top. In other words, 2/3 of the mattress is at least 2 inches higher than the other 1/3.

    Can't even begin to think how bad the sagging is going to get, say, 2 years down the road if it sags like this before anyone has even had one night's sleep on it (or maybe someone had many nights and it's refurbished mattresses they are selling for new... and who the would know for sure?) I've had it with this company. I will be calling them and requesting a return after I have a chance to purchase a new mattress from somewhere else since Saatva picked up my old mattress and I have no other mattress in my house currently.

    I really like the comfort of the Saatva mattress that we purchased in Dec 2019. However, after 8 months there are indentions on both sides of the Mattress where we sleep. I have rotated the mattress as advised. I contacted the company with pictures and questionS. The rep told me that because It is a king mattress and we sleep on our respective sides, there will be some indentions and what I call a “hump” in the middle. She suggested that one of us sleep in the middle area to even out the mattress. The purpose of a king mattress is to give both of us room. We are not big people, so it isn’t a weight factor here. The comfort is there but the quality is not.

    I ordered a King Luxury Firm Saatva mattress in 2016. The mattress slowly began to sag to the point I was forced to sleep in the crevice. I called and explained and they offered to replace at a cost of $413.08 for a new one (Hopefully, not a refurbished). I chose this route as sending our mattress back was not a good option for us. I ordered the mattress on July 8th, 2020 and was provided a delivery date of between 9 and 18 days. This puts the outlying delivery at July 26th.. It's now August 2nd., I have no mattress and have received no word from Saatva of when we might get the mattress. They blame the coronavirus however, continue to provide the 9-19 day estimate on their website. This may be a good company but they're getting a big failure grade for customer satisfaction.

    I purchased a Saatva bed years ago and I was extremely pleased so when I needed a new mattress I turned to Saatva again. Mistake #1 Customer Service was awful with the exception of a very nice girl named Dianna. Mistake #2 the mattress was not the same. It runs on the warm side making it very uncomfortable in the summer. Mistake #3 I ordered their mattress cover which did not fit, they sent me a second which also did not fit. I had to go out and order a Casper mattress cover for $95. They would not reimburse me for their cover. I chose to go with the Lineal which they do not back up. I would not recommend Saatva and will not use in the future.

    I really wanted to like this company. In fact to be fair, originally my dissatisfaction was with the delivery company they happen to use in my area, Coleman Worldwide Delivery. I requested an exchange of a higher profile box spring for the lower profile, with the understanding there would be a $100 exchange fee for delivery (this is the policy listed on their site). I notified Saatva that I would be out of town for a couple of weeks, and that if the delivery happened to be planned during that time, verified that there would not be any problem holding the delivery.

    I received an automated text as I was leaving town that my item was coming out of delivery and would be delivered shortly. I called Coleman to let them know that I was out of town and when I would be back. We rescheduled for the week I was to return back home. However, a couple days later I got a text stating that my delivery was about 15 minutes away and to be ready. I had to call yet again and remind them of the situation, and then reschedule the delivery again. On the day before the scheduled delivery day (a Friday), I received a phone call from Coleman stating that they would be unable to deliver the mattress at the scheduled time and date due to a driver’s unavailability, and that we would need to schedule for the next week, due to a full schedule on Saturday. Because of my work schedule being M-F I scheduled for the very end of the day the following Friday.

    The day of the delivery, I received another automated text stating my delivery would be around noon. So…another phone call to remind them that I would not be able to take delivery at that time due to being at work and rescheduling for the end of the day. When the delivery people (a young man and a woman) arrived, they first asked if they would be removing any other items from the house. I stated yes, this was an exchange. I had prepared in advance by removing the old box spring myself to make it easier for them, and placing them up against a wall in my room.

    When they got to my bedroom and were unwrapping the new box springs, I mentioned they could use the wrapping to protect the return, and the man’s response was, “Oh they won’t be selling these again, they will probably just have to donate them.” Then when he unwrapped the new box spring he exclaimed, “Oh no! We are going to have to schedule ANOTHER delivery now for ANOTHER day!”(emphasis his) I asked why and he stated, “It’s dirty.” I asked him to show me and I could tell that only the corner of the box spring had a small amount of dirt on it, so I left him in my bedroom with the box spring while I went to find my upholstery cleaner. I returned and cleaned the area in question.

    Once the box spring was on the bed, he noticed me looking at it and said, “What’s the matter, do you see any holes anywhere?” Since there was a small hole, I said, "Yes there is a small hole." He stated he would take a picture, and that I could call Saatva to schedule another delivery. When he and his delivery partner left, I decided that the size of the hole was not worth doing another exchange and that I could probably place a patch or other fix on the hole to keep it from spreading. I have no problem with the quality of Saatva’s products – I believe the hole in the box spring was probably caused by the man’s use of his knife to open the packaging.

    My concern is the use of Coleman Delivery. The multiple required phone calls to correctly schedule a delivery, needing to reschedule another whole week out due to the company’s sudden unavailability, and culminating in what came across as several passive aggressive remarks and delivery of damaged merchandise likely resulting from carelessness during delivery, did not sit well with me given the extra delivery fee.

    And here lies my problem with Saatva. Despite my initial attempt to notify them of my issue, and although they initially pretended to be interested, wanting to contact me by telephone to discuss the matter, my multiple attempts to call them back (customer service agent left his “direct line”), each time I called I was met with “such and such...is busy.” I would leave messages, receive emails stating such and such was so sorry to have missed me, when could I schedule to get another call.

    Finally I set a firm time. And supposedly the agent set a reminder. That time came and went however, me sitting late at work waiting for a call back which I never received. At that point, I gave up and decided Saatva really didn’t care, which is why I am here posting this. Sorry for the long post, but I would want to know if I were considering a company that the delivery company they use will damage the merchandise and the company does not care.

    Mattress was delivered and set up by Saatva, it had a pro rated 20 year warranty when I purchased (I think it might be only 10 year warranty now?) which was a deciding factor for sure. I believe that it helped in lessening my husband's snoring, which was great! We also got a 100 night free trial. We opted for the base that elevates, (also to aid in lessening snoring) which adds to overall costs, but a nice feature if you need it or read & watch TV in bed but, not a necessary feature in purchasing this mattress.

    Ordered a mattress 3 weeks ago, got an email 1 weeks ago that the mattress is ready. Called the 24h helpdesk 2 days ago to enquire about the delivery and was told that someone would call me yesterday to confirm today's delivery time. Nobody called and nothing was delivered. Called helpdesk again - now the story is that the mattress is still in production ...(?) and the email is automated and shouldn’t be taken seriously...(?) and why someone would have said differently 2 days ago couldn't be explained.... Best guess estimate is now that maybe production is completed by end of next week and someone will call me or should reach out to the helpdesk again. If I had known it takes 4+weeks and helpdesk doesn't really know anything and gives conflicting messages - I wouldn’t had ordered the mattress. Not a good start.

    I researched mattresses for a year...online in store.. I concluded Saatva.. I was soo impressed with mattress and the sleep! I client looking for mattress.. I recommended Saatva.. She couldn't thank me enough.. Another recommendation.. They purchased and just cannot believe this mattress.. Their family came to visit.. They were looking to purchase a new mattress.. She let them sleep in their bed.. They woke up saying... "Give us the information.." The mattress will sell itself once you have slept on it! And a little help from me????

    I purchased my first Saatva mattress in 2018. My new husband and I agree it's the absolute BEST mattress experience we've ever had. Backaches disappeared, sleepless nights and neckaches gone. We retreat to our mattress instead of our couch when we need to rest! Well, we need a bigger mattress, so I just put in my second order for a King size Saatva. YES, you won't regret this purchase. These mattresses are worth every penny!

    I tried to leave a review on their website and it was a negative review because I have had the mattress for 3 years and it is a horrible mattress. It would not let me leave a review!!! It is so bad I would like to get a new mattress but can not get it into my condo by myself and with Covid 19 I am at a disadvantage. I called the company and they said to rotate the mattress because I have a huge area where it sinks in but when you go to rotate it again you still will have the same problem. That would not solve the problem. You can also pay $400 to get a new mattress but why put money in a new mattress that is not good in the first place. I am not heavy. I only weigh 110 pounds. My last mattress I had for 22 years and never had any problem with it and just got a new one because I thought that maybe it was time. Big mistake.

    We purchased this mattress in 2020 to replace an old Serta. I was having stiffness in my lower back and very concerned about arthritis. I decided just to take a chance on the Saatva mattress because I read it was made in America and the Classic Luxury Firm is good for back pain I felt I had nothing to loose. I realized you can't tell by laying on a mattress for a few minutes if it was going to be satisfactory and the website looked compelling

    I can honestly say the first night I was blown away by the fact that the pain in my body was gone when I laid on the mattress. I could breathe easier and could feel the support. It honestly is like laying on a cloud but being supported. It seemed to even make breathing easier with the torso support. Weeks later I can honestly say I don't lay awake in bed at all and I can jump up in the morning completely rested and without stiffness anywhere.

    It seems too good to be true even to me. I am not exaggerating when I say buying the Saatva Luxury Firm Full Mattress was the best purchase I have ever made. I would never have thought that buying this mattress could do so much for me. You wake refreshed and alert and ready to be active. Not sluggish ready to rest again. Don't hesitate. We are buying a 2nd now for another room in the house and will be recommending this mattress. Thank you Saatva.     We purchased the “firm” king mattress in September 2017. After just 2 1/2 years of use there are now significant divots in the mattress where my wife and I sleep. The middle of the mattress is noticeably firmer. My wife and I are not overweight people and are both fit. I would expect much, much better from a company that bills itself as a luxury mattress company.

    Purchased a Saatva mattress about 3 or 4 years ago. Started out OK. It was good but not great. Then all of a sudden about 4 to 5 months ago I started waking up with massive back pain on both sides. It’s so bad that I usually have to lay on my heating pad for 15 minutes every morning before getting out of bed. definitely would not buy a mattress from here again.

    Purchased a Saatva mattress a few years ago. Began to sag in less than a year and became uncomfortable. We are not heavy people. It sagged way more than normal. We checked the mattress, our bed, our box springs and it was the mattress. Called the company and they offered to replace it. Great. Even switched to a more firm model to be safe. New one is sagging as well really badly too in three spots. We checked the bed and box spring again. It’s the matress. Again. I guess we got a reconditioned one? Anyways their marketing dept is really good about squashing bad reviews but if you look they are there and the excessive sagging and lack of durability is a common issue. It’s to the point now where I sleep on the couch so I don’t wake up in pain and my wife needs a mattress topper. We are in shape middle aged people without medical issues. It’s not us, it’s the mattress. It’s just, poor quality. Feels great for a few months then falls apart.

    We purchased a Saatva mattress and base in February of 2018. We loved our purchase and cherished a good night's sleep until a few months ago when my husband's side of the bed started sagging in and he complained of severe back ache. I turned the mattress only to find that my back started bothering me also. Long story short - I picked up the phone to Saatva as I was busy online trying to buy another Saatva mattress to replace the one we had. Joseph answered, and as I was about to inquire about the worry that I had, that the same will happen to a new purchase, he told me that Saatva wants its customers to have a good night's rest and that Saatva will replace our mattress at NO COST! I learned that our guarantee expired a few months ago, but Joseph insisted that Saatva will honor their promise. We are beyond grateful for Joseph and Saatva!

    Tl;dr "oh, someone should have told you sinking is natural and now we won't refund your money". Mattress is worse than Ikea's. I contacted the company looking for a mattress for my husband and I, as side sleepers. The mattress was nice for the first few weeks, but over time we noticed it sagging more and more when we used it and within a few months we were having to visit the chiropractor. We had to move and once we had a new bed frame (thinking that may have been the problem), we still had the same issues.

    I called the company and told them of the sinking areas, and they exchanged it. Great....except the exact same thing started to happen, now even faster that my husband isn't traveling. I called again and now they tell me that sinking is normal? And not really covered by the warranty? I explained that NO ONE had ever said that before, and while mild impressions may be normal for them, I would have never bought it knowing that, and even if I had, it's SO PAINFUL to sleep on, there's no way we can continue. They offered another exchange but I want a refund, because how in the world am I supposed to get a new mattress every month???

    This is two within 13 months, and the last one is only a few months old and already painful. A mattress topper or new mattress doesn't change that this is scam for $1700. They've not been upfront in their claims, their customer service team has been intentionally withholding, and they haven't offered any solution that will NOT continue to negatively affect my health. I only want to return the mattress since it does not meet the advertised details and does not last more than a month.

    I researched many mattresses before deciding to purchase my Saatva mattress. I had looked for over 6 months before finding the right mattress. The customer service was remarkable. I called to ask a question and within 5 minutes I was placing an order for the mattress. The person who answered the phone assured me they would do everything possible to accommodate my needs if the mattress was not comfortable. The delivery was easy. The mattress from day one has been completely comfortable. The transfer motion is relatively unnoticeable. The support is excellent. The mattress is both supportive and comfortable. I am very pleased with my Saatva mattress.

    I'm into convenience. This company could not make buying and delivering a mattress more simple. We bought it because my husband has serious back issues. Some of the mattresses we tested were either way too firm or soft. This has a nice level of firmness to it. Its materials are also organic. You can also buy one that inclines but that was a bit pricey for our budget. Lastly, many companies store their mattresses in warehouses, which is an invitation for bedbugs and other critters. This is made when ordered. So no worries there. Incredibly comfortable! Its price was around $200 or so higher than its competitors but when half your life is spent on a mattress, it's definitely worth it.

    The latex mattress is more comfortable than any I’ve slept on even in luxury hotels. It’s also healthier for you. Usually they start at 2 1/2 times the price of the Saatva brand. Delivery was fantastic and they took my old mattress. Love this mattress.

    After shopping online and comparing queen mattresses I finally settled on Saatva. It is used in hotels, offers a 60 (or 90 I forget) in home trial. At the end of the trial if you don't like it you just pay $99.00 for them to take it away. Well, I'm almost at my 60n- 90 days and I'm keeping it! Customer service is there 24 - 7 to help with any questions you may have about the mattresses. It seems to be a very popular brand and as hard as I looked on independent review sites could not find any negative comments.

    I purchased 2 Saatva mattresses. One for my daughter who lives at college and does not use it much. The other I purchased for myself and I found that it did not have enough support. So I paid the 100.00 to exchange it for the firmer mattress which also did not work out. I financed both mattresses through KLARNA. When I returned the mattress they owed me $1,386. That was on December 13, 2019. No matter how many times I have called, I cannot get the refund. Here it is April 2, 2020 and I am still trying to get a refund. I have contacted Saatva, they say it is not their problem. KLARNA tells me they automatically refund the money back to my bank. They tell me they will issue a check. I have called several times. I have yet to get my refund!!!

    So if you are going to buy a mattress and you are convinced that Saatva is the mattress you want, DO NOT USE THEIR FINANCING. It appears that I will have to file a lawsuit in order to get my money refunded. Just stay away from this company. Go to the Mattress store. Try the bed you’re going to sleep on for the next 10+ years!
