Great experience so far. Only suggestion is to add a column to the order recapping the total thickness off the floor, in my case 7 + 14.5 + 4.5 = 26 inches, for the mathematically challenged.

I received a call confirming what I ordered within 24 hours after I placed the order. Kanella was very polite and clear on what to expect as far as receiving a call from 2 to 3 weeks to set up my delivery.

So far so good. Ordering was easy and fast. I like that you remind the customer to measure the bed and foundation for accuracy. You don't want to end up with a bed that sits too low or high for the frame you already have. Received a call the next day after ordering and that was on a Saturday.

Although I have not yet received my Saatva mattress, I have had no problems going through the process of ordering the mattress. This company has been highly recommended from other customers I know and based on my experience so far, I can do the same.

Saatva gave me excellent customer service when I ordered my mattress and has continued to do so through the process of confirming the order both by phone and email and thanking me for my business. The company makes sure you understand all phases of the process. This includes the time it will take to deliver the product to you, complete delivery day instructions, plus a full disclosure of their "trial period" and refund policies. You know right off what to expect, no surprises! I have not yet received my mattress, but if the kind of service so far is any indication of what's to come, I'm sure that I will be extremely satisfied with my experience of doing business with Saatva!

Delivery was made very timely which was great. Hiccups included: 1. Delivery company called to let me know that I had an Ikea delivery on the way which added a lot of confusion. I ended up reaching out to my Amex to make sure I did not have a fraud event. 2. When I requested the name of who the delivery was for I was told XPO. 3. When I asked if they would be building the bed frame they said they had no instructions to build the bed but would be more than happy to build. They did build the bed but the instruction on the paper indicated that they should be. It seemed like the delivery guys which were very nice had very bad instructions. 4. Bed frame had a small tear in the plastic so the edge was dirty.

The person who took my order was efficient, knowledgeable and courteous. It was a little strange to be perusing the website and have someone log in to chat with me (I'm 64 and not always comfortable with technology) but I did find the online chat to be helpful. All in all my experience has been very positive. I'm drawn to USA made products, companies that take care of their employees, and are socially and environmentally responsible.

I was very nervous about ordering such an important thing as a mattress online that I couldn't try out in person. However, Saatva's reviews and excellent return policy calmed my fears. Mattress shopping at one of the big stores is such a scam, you try tons of different beds but are never quite sure you're picking the right one and then there is the price game. "One day only sale", holiday sale etc. blah blah blah. Saatva's got excellent service, super fast delivery and a GREAT mattress at an excellent price. I'm very pleased with my new bed, it's perfect and I've already started passing the word around to all my friends. So glad I took a risk and bought from you at Saatva. Thanks.

Although we are waiting for our mattress, the service thus far is "above the bar". You wouldn't normally expect to have a company care enough to make a call to confirm/review the order and then "thank you" for being a customer. Buying a mattress is difficult in itself, but Saatva has exceeded my expectations.

We just ordered a Luxury Firm Mattress and Foundation yesterday. Today we received a follow-up call from Saatva to verify our order. We are impressed with the ease of placing an order. The ease of ordering online is great. I placed my order online myself and chatted with someone named Cory and would have expected a little fjord friendly and when asked a question there was a long delay and really short with answers. Saatva is rated really high and have read a lot of great comments about saatva. I have purchased so many mattresses and I pray that this is it. I just ordered the mattress yesterday and can't wait to sleep on it to see how it feels. We will see.

Very helpful customer service. I thought we'd need a box spring for our new mattress, but we have a low platform bed. It turned out that we could put the mattress directly on the slats and preserve the look of the bed and antique Chinese headboard as they are. Rather than trying to sell us something we didn't need, which would have created aesthetic difficulties, we were helped to make a practical decision. Less profit for the company meant a better deal for us in all ways! Great company.

I just ordered my mattress and foundation with complete confidence. Alex and Charlie were patient with me as I struggled with buying a mattress online. Like others, I read the reviews, watched videos, and even went to stores trying products of similar construction. The Saatva staff made the difference as well as the price. With the follow-up call from Kanella who was as just as professional and kind I now look forward to a product that will bring joy to our currently restless bodies. I received a confirmation call from Amy ** this afternoon. However, I was not home and she left a message. I could not understand her at all. She spoke very fast and the connection was staticy. I had to call customer service to confirm my order. Your service reps should speak clearly and slowly over the phone. Otherwise, I was satisfied with customer service.

So far so good. The order process was easy online. I received a call from your company within 24 hours of the purchase to confirm our order. We are now waiting for the delivery. I did a lot of research on buying a mattress and didn't know how many options were out there. Consumer report gave your mattresses high marks. I read an article in some New York paper about it. With the cost, the materials... it seems I am taking a good gamble that the mattress will be great. It is much needed right now so we are really looking forward to the delivery and installation and saying goodbye to the old one.

The experience with Saatva has been mostly good so far. People have been friendly and helpful. One small ding is that in the online chat it took a long time to get responses (several minutes), but the person did apologize and say he was sorry and had thought he had sent a response already. The other small ding is that the online chat didn't help me decide between plush or regular very well. Something to the effect of "plush is soft but not too soft". It wasn't a very helpful comment and no additional guidance was given.
When I called customer service I really liked the experience more as the customer rep went beyond by suggesting that I could go to a mattress store and try out some similar models. He then gave me the names to try out and I did so. The online chat person did not list this as an option and I wouldn't have realized there were beds I could easily compare to in order to decide between the plush/firm mattress. In the end I actually chose a different model than I would have if I had just ordered online, because I got a chance to try out comparable models. So I'm really glad I called in and that customer rep helped out more.

So far, so good. In addition to some general questions I had, I needed some help deciding on EVERY. SINGLE. DETAIL. I called Customer Service and was assisted by Josh. He obviously had his work cut out for him during our rather lengthy, all-over-the-place conversation. After hearing Josh out, the end result was choosing the opposite of everything I had intended to order online! He was great. Very knowledgeable, professional & friendly. It felt like I was talking to a friend for advice! Was barely off the phone & I already received email confirmations. Next day I received a thank you/confirmation call from Kanella. Probably the nicest, most informative & thorough voicemail I've heard. She even sent an email to follow up on her VM! First-rate service up until this point. I placed an order on a Sunday and then started to 2nd guess myself on the height of the box springs so I sent an email and within 48 hours they called our home and my husband was able to request the change in our order. The cust. service person assured him that this would not be a problem. A few hours later I received an updated order confirmation. That's what I like to see in cust. service.

I love the Saatva mattresses. This is the 3rd time I'm ordering from you! I actually found the person who online chatted with me unhelpful. When I asked about opinions on mattress and foundation sizes he was extremely non committal saying that I have to decide what I want. Finally I asked him about bed skirts and he said I would need the 8". If he had said that if I'm going to use a bed skirt he would recommend the 8" as opposed to the 4" it would have saved me the trouble of researching it on my own and possibly making a mistake. I told him my ultimate dimensions so there wasn't a lot of choice but I almost ordered the bigger mattress and smaller foundation. I would have been very angry when I found it didn't work with my sheets. Your website was MUCH more helpful than this guy.

It is still very early in the ordering process. Yesterday, July 28, 2015, Saatva called me to confirm the order. That is as far as we are in the ordering process. I received a courteous and friendly phone call letting me know that a factory fresh mattress will be delivered and set up in my home in 9-18 days. They also said that I should expect a phone call within that time frame to schedule the delivery.

Easy purchase. After purchased online, a Saatva representative called to thank me and make sure the measurements were what I really wanted. Arrived within a week. Delivery not a problem. When the company cancelled the first delivery they made sure I would get the mattress the following day after I got out of work. They actually did their best to work around my schedule. First night was very uncomfortable. Hardly slept, bed felt too firm. I called Saatva the next day and asked if I could exchange for the plush. The man said absolutely if that's what I wanted but did talk me into giving it time as the coils are stiff since the bed has never been sat or slept on. Makes sense.
He said give it a few weeks but call if I change my mind. It took only 3 days before I started to like my new bed. 7 days and I actually love it. I was originally going for a softer, sinking in feeling but the reviews on the luxury firm are what sold me. And now I can see why. It feels firm but with a layer of soft on top. Although throughout the next few weeks I am hoping it feels a little less stiff, I am very happy with my new bed and look forward to having it for many years. Thank you Saatva.

Exceptional - the ability to easily access online help, the person on the other end of the phone regarding the height of the frame was very helpful and you feel like someone is personally creating your mattress with the care that a grandmother would put into knitting a sweater for her first grandchild... I would assume... I don't knit :)

All experiences so far have been favorable. I cannot comment beyond this point, not having received and tried the mattress. I am impressed by the follow-up by Saatva in confirming the order and describing the next steps in the process of delivery. Purchase of an expensive item sight unseen is not something I'd ordinarily recommend, but thus far the process has been positive.

I contacted Saatva Customer Service the day after placing my order. After I reviewed my confirmation I discovered my email address was incorrect. The gentleman I spoke to was courteous and very helpful. He corrected my email address and stayed on the line with me until I had received my confirmation of order. Today there was a voicemail on my home phone informing me of my order process and the approximate time frame for delivery. Wow! I can't wait for my new mattress! Thank you!

When I called to ask questions about the company Saatva and also the product they sell, the sales person was very knowledgeable and answered all my questions regarding the company and the product they sell. He was very polite when he took the information when I decided to place my order. The next day, I came in for lunch and had a phone message from Amy confirming my order. In the message, she asked if I was sure I wanted the 14 1/2 inch mattress because it would make the total height of the bed a little over 30 inches. Before returning her call, I measured my present bed and it was 27 inches. Then I returned her call and thanked her for mentioning the height of the bed.
When asked, she informed me that if I changed to the 11 1/2-inch mattress, the height of the bed would be a little over 27 1/4 inches which is what I presently sleep on. Amy was very friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. I really appreciated her catching it and bringing it to my attention about the height of the bed and assisting me in changing my order to the 11 1/2-inch thick mattress. I would definitely give the Saatva personnel I have dealt with a five-star rating. Thank you Saatva!!

When deciding what to order, I used the online chat. The rep was very knowledgeable and was able to answer my questions precisely. Updated on 8/1/2015: As I hoped everything was just as I have read online. I tried really hard to find something negative. I really couldn't find anything. Now I know why. Everything was exactly as promised. The mattress was delivered exactly one week from the time of order. I don't think anyone can be exactly excited about delivering a mattress so the fact that the drivers and setup men weren't nearly as excited about my new mattress as I was is forgivable. Bed got setup without issue.
The mattress was so nice we almost didn't want to cover it. Fast forward a few hours and I couldn't resist the urge to nap. Oh my goodness the comfort I had was like nothing I have felt before. And we came out of a Select Comfort bed. Wow not even close. This bed blows it away. Great first impression. I hope this stays this comfortable for years to come. Will keep you posted. So far, I'm happy with my experience. I had to place my order on the phone as I had difficulty with the online site (this could have been my computer). However, I'm glad I ordered on the phone since the person I spoke with told me the 14.5" mattress required deep pocket sheets (I don't think this is mentioned on the website). I'm still waiting for the delivery company to call but it's only been 2 business days, so fingers crossed they call soon. Looking forward to my new mattress!

I received a call on the day after placing the order to confirm, just like you said you would. After lying on several mattresses in a show room last week my husband and I walked away a bit dazzled and confused. One thing was clear, we didn't want a memory foam mattress due to the heat. At first I was extremely happy and pleased with the Saatva service. The customer service rep was very friendly and everything was being handled in a timely manner. We have purchased several mattresses in our 29 years of marriage and as most of you know, this is probably the one experience that can cause a divorce faster than ALMOST anything!! It is never as it seems in the showroom and once they have your money, customer service is out the door right behind you as well as any warranty they claim. All we can say is so far this has been an excellent experience.
We were very skeptical about buying a mattress on-line, but buying them in the store hasn't worked out very well, so we figured what do we have to lose with their great 75 day no questions asked return policy. We placed the order late on Tuesday evening on the website, after many on-line chats with their other great customer service agents and many google searches asking for the best rated mattress, that same evening we received a email confirmation.
Two days later we received a follow up phone call from a very friendly and appreciative customer service agent to be sure we had ordered the correct size, depth and comfort level before they start to make your mattress (what a concept). Then the same day we received an email from him to reiterate the information he had given me over the phone (I don't know about you but sometimes after I hang up I say to myself did they say this or that, so receiving the follow up email is a great reminder). If this keeps up we will be the happiest couple and the most rested on the planet. Great job Saatva - keep up the good work!

I have been looking at Saatva for some time while considering getting a new bed. My old bed is a Murphy hide away platform bed (no foundation) and after a 5 years - it's not the most comfortable nights sleep. To be honest, I have, in the past, attempted to place an order with Saatva several times, but hesitated doing so since it's all online. Finally, this past week I placed the order. I am not a huge fan of ordering online. Saatva Mattress Company may very well change my opinion of that. The information they had on their website was highly informative. Let's be honest, it's hard to be proficient at something that you only need to do every 10 years. I received an order confirmation over the telephone, and a confirmation via email and feel highly confident that I have made a fantastic choice. If you consider not lying down on a bed for 5-10 minutes as a negative, then this is not the right choice for you. Insert sarcasm here. However, I'm quite confident that if you need a new mattress, any 5-10 minute experience is a moot point. I am so very excited for my new mattress to arrive, I cannot sleep!
