Amazing! I was so annoyed with mattress salespeople. I thought I would give Saatva a try after reading great reviews online. The customer service doesn't get any better. Helpful, straightforward, easy, informative. The mattresses came in about 10 days and we love them. Never buying a mattress from anyone else and will recommend to everyone. Thank you Saatva for starting this new innovative company.

I very recently purchased online a full-size mattress from Saatva. The mattress isn't due to arrive yet, but thus far, my correspondence with the company has been perfectly helpful, friendly and polite. I am very pleased with the process of buying a mattress from this company. Everything they said they would do they have done. I received the follow up confirmation phone call within 72 hours just as they said they would. So far I am very impressed with them and will recommend them to my friends and family. So far, I have been incredibly impressed by your online representatives that answer your questions so quickly without having to wait and even sending me pics of the frame so I could see if my frame would work. I haven't received the mattress yet, so am slightly disappointed in the turnaround time. We ordered the mattress on the 22nd and it's nine days later and we have not heard anything back about it. When we called we were told it was still in production and there was no way to be updated at this time. We had hoped to at least be notified that it was getting ready to be shipped by now. I'm sure we will love the mattress, we just aren't happy with the turnaround time.

Spoke with Izzy last week and he was very knowledgeable about every aspect of the mattress construction. Having had a past bad experience with another company regarding toxicity with a mattress, I so look forward to my new mattress from you guys. Someone left another phone message that might have said I would be out Nov 7-18 and that would be incorrect. I am only unavailable Nov 9, 17 & 18 for delivery. Can't wait to sleep on this organic product and looking forward to sleeping tight on it. Thanks.

I just ordered my mattress on 10/27/2015 so I can only comment on the ordering process to date. All my questions were answered and after placing the order I did receive a call to confirm everything was correct. That's as far as I am in this process. I have given it 3 stars because any representative can be nice and knowledgeable. The next question will be how long it takes to receive it and the very most important, how comfortable it will be. The jury is still out until the last two concerns. I am a little leery about some of the negative reviews I have read.

Frankly there isn't much to say, the person who took my order was knowledgeable and explained to me as a first time client what to expect. He was courteous and I did not feel rushed as if I were on a time line. I was contacted a second time by the next person as the first gentleman promised and again was brought up to speed quite courteously. So far I'm quite satisfied.

I have not yet received the product, but so for the purchasing experience has been very relaxing. Customer service on the website was easy to access and I love that you are not overwhelmed by options. Make a few mattress levels and make them right instead of making 100 mediocre models.

So far, you have done what you said you would do. I did receive a call regarding my purchase and this email. I have to say it was nice to have a real person call me regarding my order, I appreciated that. Now if the mattress ships within the time frame and the delivery goes well and the mattress is as good as the claims say, I'll be very happy to add more comments.

Everything was easy, the bed appears to be in great shape. We had some difficulty making contact over the phone (on my end), but they moved forward knowing they'd gotten a hold of me briefly and the delivery company was still working towards shipment when they finally got a hold of me and it showed up on day 7. My wife handled the delivery and had no issues (they took our ancient hand me down Cal King mattress that was disgusting). My original call from Saatva was out of New York and I'm in Los Angeles. I'm impressed with the service and happy with the value. I also like the simple, soft sell. 3 choices, decent quality, easy. Good business model and I wish these folks the best. Thanks again!

After buying 2 other mattresses in 5 years, we have finally, and surprisingly, had the best buying and sleeping experience by purchasing a Saatva mattress. Like most people, I was hesitant about purchasing a mattress sight unseen and untested, online. However, since we "tried" our other 2 mattress at a conventional store and were unhappy with both, I figured why not? What attracted me to Saatva was the clarity of the information and the limited number of options. There is no double talk - they deliver what they say they are going to, and in our experience, more.
I ordered the Firm to accommodate my husband's aching back. I figured I could make do with that but after a couple of weeks, I thought we would have to send the bed back and order the Luxury Firm. This is where customer service rocked - they send a topper for the bed that did the trick - just enough cushion for me while still firm enough for my husband. We were so excited about our experience that a friend who was visiting ordered one for himself. And was just as happy! Hope this helps you decide - and happy sleeping!

After many months of searching for a mattress I always came back to reading about the Saatva mattress and foundation. Finally decided to order queen size 11 1/2" luxury firm mattress & 8.75" queen size foundation. Chris ** made it easy to order. Answered all my questions very professionally and friendly. I was not at home but received a message on my machine, reviewing my order and asking me to make sure these were the dimensions I wanted to continue with. Today received an email from Paul ** asking me to rate my experience thus far. As noted above, have been happy with all persons who have kept me informed about my purchase. Can't wait for delivery of my new mattress and foundation.

I have to say, my experience didn't start out great - twice the website froze while at the point of sale. Then my name was misspelled making finding my order difficult; but it was redeemed through the attentiveness of Steve who worked through my difficult delivery dates and figured out how to get it done. So far purchasing the Saatva has been easy, pleasant and stress free. Buying it online was easy and chatting live with rep was very informative and helped me make up my mind to purchase product. Delivery was quick, two days. Payment options were helpful with Paypal. The delivery guys were very careful with setting it up and then removed old mattress, a box spring and friendly. Time will tell how it holds up but as of now my wife's lumbar issue will benefit with this mattress.

Everyone has been great so far. It's Thursday & I don't get the mattress till Monday. One very big reason why I chose to purchase your product is because you offer a veterans discount. I strongly believe in supporting those who supported me as I gave up many years of civilian life to fight for freedom. After 14 years of service & 8 deployments I just want to be comfortable. I got a very muddled call on my voicemail to confirm my order. The person relaying the info ended up mispronouncing my street address and my town's name on the call, thus confusing me to the point where I had to go back online with Saatva to confirm that my order was ok. So far 3 days and counting since purchase and no call yet to confirm actual delivery. The muddled call was only to confirm the order! Since I purchased online I don't need a verbal order confirmation, I have a written one. I run my own business and would appreciate the heads up delivery notification well in advance so I can adjust my own schedule to accommodate my clients' needs well in advance of the delivery. I hope the bed is better than the customer service experience so far.

We have pic's of cosmetic damage on the box spring and some black smudging on the edge of the mattress. I think the handling was sort of abrupt, my wife took the pic's when she got home from work.

Between the ease of ordering, the courteous of the customer service folks, and the amazing delivery guys, I couldn't rate my experience any higher. As a manager in a customer service field, I'm a stickler for this, and everyone was terrific! I was worried at first about buying a bed online, but then I realized that many mattresses need a couple weeks to break in anyways, so laying on a mattress in a store may not fully give you the feel you will end up with anyways. So I did it, and holy smokes, is this thing amazing. I suffer from Degenerative Disc Disorder, so these last few months I've been like Goldilocks, trying a soft bed, a firm bed, and finding no comfort at all. Instantly I felt the lumbar support in this bed. I was comfortable on my side and back without feeling any strain on my lower back or pressure point pain on my hips like I felt on our firmer mattress.
This mattress is firm enough to support the shape of my spine, but soft enough to give comfort as you sleep. Last night, day 9 in the bed, I had the best night sleep I've had in years! I awoke feeling limber and without any back pain ever. I was so shocked I woke my husband up with shrieks of joy. Please don't let the online purchase of this bed make you feel skeptical, it is very strong, very well built and high quality. PLEASE carefully check what sizes you want in the mattress and box however. We changed our mind at the very last minute before ordering to a 14.5 Luxury Firm mattress and a 4.5 box, and this bed is still much taller than my last bed. I would have not been pleased if I had gotten the full size box spring, we would have been laying way to high for our TV and end tables. So don't take this part lightly. I hope my review helped you some. I truly love my new bed, thank you Saatva!!!

My experience was generally good. I like your mattress and foundation (and price), and this is the second one that I have purchased. However, your frame is terrible, hence why I did not purchase one this time. I am trying a different brand of frame, as yours squeaks and does not feel solid. I will be discarding the one from my 1st order.

I placed my order on October 5 and the order confirmation said that I would have my mattress in 9 to 18 days. On October 8 I received a follow up email restating this. When it got to October 22 and I hadn't heard anything from Saatva about delivery, I wrote to inquire about what was happening. I got a quick reply assuring me that I would get an answer the next day. When I heard nothing for two days, I wrote again. Two days later, on a Monday, I was informed that there had been some problem at their end and that they would take $100 off the price. They promised to call by the following Friday to arrange for delivery. This would make it over a month from order to the actual delivery.
Considering my experience to that point, I lost trust that Saatva would keep future guarantees, and worried about what would happen if I had problems down the line. I cancelled my order. Considering that I spent a great deal of time researching mattresses before deciding on Saatva, I am both disappointed with my experience and frustrated that I need to start the mattress buying process again. I give the company one star for their polite customer service people but cannot recommend anyone waste as much time as I have by shopping with Saatva.

I recently placed a mattress order with Saatva and so far have found their customer service great. I'm taking a leap of faith that the reviews are honest and that the mattress will be everything we need. I haven't received the mattress yet and looking forward to (hopefully) a good night's sleep. Every website I've researched mattresses on has said that mattresses should be tested first. Well, what better way of testing a mattress than sleeping on it for the allowed 75-day time frame. I'm tired of sleeping on a board.

We have only placed our order so far and received a call from the freight company handling the delivery (within 4 days of placing the order online). We can provide further feedback once the mattress is delivered. Although a little hesitant about purchasing a mattress online, we felt secure by the reviews we saw online. I've been very impressed with the attention to detail, desire to please the customer, & genuine interest in making the entire experience a good one. I'm impressed that Saatva pays state sales tax. I've had horrid experiences with mattress stores & was so depressed that I couldn't find anyone to really help me, & then I came across Saatva. We haven't received our new mattress yet but are very pleased with the service. I ordered the mattress this past weekend; today is Tuesday. We have had two calls so far, the first acknowledging the order and the second making delivery arrangements. I had been surprised to learn how little one knows when purchasing a mattress, even an expensive one, about what exactly is the product. I'm glad we decided to dispense with the mystery and purchase from a defined vendor whose rent isn't a part of the purchase price. We'll let you know in a few weeks what we think of the mattress itself but the service is excellent.

By far the very best mattress I have ever slept on! We have extra long twin mattresses. I have hip and back problems. It hasn't done away with my problem but every night I get a good night's sleep and wake up refreshed. I highly recommend this mattress. Sometimes I don't want to get out of bed. When purchasing it, my husband's comment, "You can't try it out!" I said, "What difference does it make, every mattress in the past has been horrible!"

Not impressed! Our delivery came 50 mins after the 4 hour window, wasn't notified of them running behind until 10 minutes prior to the end of the time window, so we wasted 4 hours of sitting around waiting for nothing. We ordered the luxury firm believing it was the middle ground between soft plush and firm and it is extremely firm. I felt like I slept on a rock last night, but will give it a week or so to see if we can get use to it, before returning it only because I don't want to deal the hassle of waiting for them to come and pick it up.

First off... we've only been sleeping on the mattress for a week so far. We upgraded from a Queen mattress that was only a year old (a name brand mattress purchased from Costco). Let me say that WOW, we did not know what we were missing! My wife and I have both agreed that the new Saatva mattress reminds us of the mattress we slept on at a wonderful bed and breakfast on our wedding night over 12 years ago! We are certainly loving the new mattress.
The ordering was easy. My card number was typed in wrong and before I could correct it Saatva customer service had called me about the issue and helped with the order. A couple days later a follow up call from them came through to verify I had ordered the correct dimensions for our frame to get the perfect overall height. Delivery was perfect and the guys washed their hands before taking the plastic off and setting the mattress in place! And our miniature dachshund Molly loves it more than us! Overall it has been a great experience and we'll recommend Saatva to anyone.

Overall, the purchasing experience was great! I did research, read reviews and went through the process of buying my new mattress online. I had no problems. I had no problems with the set up regarding finding a time to deliver my mattress. However, the day that the mattress was expected to be delivered there were a few problems.
The first problem is that I was told delivery would be at 11:00 am. Because I work, I had to have my daughter come out to my house to be there. Your company did not show up at 11:00 and by 11:30, I had to call (no one called me to say that they were running late). When I called, they said that they would be there at 12:00. They did not show up until 12:30. Additionally, I paid for old mattress removal. They originally said that they were not going to take it and my daughter had to argue with them to take the mattress that I paid to have them remove. Again, the purchasing experience (and the bed itself) was great! The delivery experience was definitely not a good one.

At this point I'm not happy with the experience because it is 5 days since my order was processed and I have not rec'd a call or email regarding delivery, which is supposed to occur within 72 hours. We ordered a Saatva Queen size bed just a few days ago and so far the customer service has been wonderful. As we were ordering our bed there was a problem with our VISA account and I am delighted to say that before we even closed our computer, a representative from Saatva contacted us to let us know that there was a problem. This was great because we were able to fix the issue and order our bed. Today I received a confirmation call from an extremely helpful, patient and polite customer service rep. We went over the order and he explained what would happen next and advised that if I had any other questions to feel free to call. Now, if the delivery and the bed itself are equivalent to the service so far, I'm sure we will be happy Saatva customers and sleep well for years to come.

I have been really impressed with the knowledge of your online customer service reps. I like the fact that you have a pop up window and a customer service agent is willing to help you if have any questions, or many questions! I utilized the pop up window and they really helped me in making a decision. I also really enjoyed how they were able to post a hyperlink of comparison chart between Serta and your brand, as well as Seally and your brand right on the chat window. That was huge for me, I also think that is a valuable tool as you well know it.
Communication between your company and myself after I made my purchase has been satisfying with the amount of communication that has Ben communicated to me, and I haven't even received my mattress yet! We ordered the soft/Plush and were told it would be 25% softer/Plusher than the regular. I just had (10/13) cervical spine surgery and the bed is too firm for the recovery. This Friday 10/23 I see a shoulder surgeon for a complete rotator cuff tear, a bicep tendon tear and a labral tear, these are notorious for keeping people up all night. Not just this bed, any bed. We may just need more time after the shoulder surgery to see how much pain relief I get. If we must decide in early November, 75 day cut off before the shoulder surgery is settled out, we would have to send it back and start looking for a very, very soft, cushy mattress. We will stay in touch.

I received a phone call 2 days after my order. However, I was not at home and the representative left a voicemail on my machine. Unfortunately, the voicemail was inaudible and I was unable to understand what was being said. I called the general Saatva number back a few days later while at work and was told that I needed to call back since I did not have my current bed dimensions (I assumed this was the reason for the initial call). However, when I called back a few days later (from home) the representative didnt request any type of measurements and said the initial call is just to confirm my order is correct. He also asked how my frame and foundation were constructed. Those questions could have been asked during my first phone call to Saatva which would have prevented my follow up call.

After placing my order I decided that I wanted to change the mattress/box spring heights and was able to revise my order the next morning with no problems. I was contacted by a personal representative to set up a time and date for delivery, and when I wasn't sure I'd be available he offered suggestions that help put me at ease. He even gave me his personal number in case anything changed so that I didn't have to go through an automated 1-800 number. I just placed an order for a Cal King Luxury Firm mattress set and frame. I did it over the phone because I wanted to place the order with a live person. The experience was as expected. Nothing spectacular, just good customer service. Then again, who wouldn't provide good service when taking an $1800 order. I have read many reviews over the last few years and finally decided to pull the trigger. Not much to tell at this point. Hopefully there won't be much to say later either. Hopefully, that means there won't have been any problems to work out. Waiting in anticipation!!

I received a message in the beginning about my mattress being made then was told I would be contacted when they knew more about delivery. I didn't hear anything until the day of delivery and was frantic because I was at work. The moving company was really good to work with but I expected Saatva to communicate better and not surprise me like this. I will see how I sleep on the mattress for the next 75 days!

I think it's deep important to avoid adjective that might suggest hype. You avoid it for the most part. But more honesty would be good. And please allow the user to KILL the concierge pop up. To have it obscure the screen DURING the order? That's a mistake and once reduced it should NEVER pop up unbidden again. I want to see more PHOTOS of construction and details on materials sourcing too.
