Not only would I describe the process of buying a mattress from Saatva as "efficient", I would add that it is actually an enjoyable experience. The price is competitive, the product is well-constructed and very comfortable, delivery is easy, and Saatva's customer service personnel are professional and friendly. I would buy from Saatva again and have encouraged others to do so as well.

I asked your rep. if the company delivering my order would move my old set to another room. She said she was not sure. I said "Costco and sears have white glove delivery" but she did not know what the company's policy is so I guess l will just hope that they will move my old set.

This is my second purchase of a Saatva bed. I am impressed by the fact that I was called in an evening to check my order that would be started the following day. I recommend the bed and the company for those who need a new bed. I purchased the firm mattress and ordered the shorter box springs and mattress this time. I am tall and I like the high bed but guests might appreciate the shorter version.

Information needed to order is easy to locate. I had to make a call for information on fire retardant application since I am allergic to bromine and was satisfied with the info received. For some reason I could not print out my order but that could have been my computer. I did not realized the mattress was not already made. I would have ordered other. My major concern was finding a reasonably priced organic mattress. Your company has the right tact. Thank you for being innovative.

So far your delivery company has struck out. I was given a two hour window -- they blew it. Now delivery delayed at least 2 days. Suggest that you look carefully at their service record. I have submitted an identical report to the state of AZ authorities and to the BBB. It's your move.

So far the people at Saatva have been very responsive to any questions or concerns I have had. The one thing that has been a little problem is that fact that when someone from Saatva calls it does not come up as Saatva on caller ID. It comes up as just a person's name. Since I don't answer the phone if I don't know who is calling, it goes to voicemail. Not a huge problem but would help if that changed.

Your website is very easy to navigate. Every one of our questions were answered by the site without requesting additional information. It only took about 10 minutes to purchase 3 mattress sets for our home. Your prices are very attractive. The call for delivery came less than 24 hours after our on-line purchase. I am so sorry to say that this bed is not the right bed for us. My partner is basically a side and sometimes back sleeper and she complains every morning now about being in pain with her hip and shoulder. We would like to return the mattress as soon as possible. I ordered the plush 14.5" Saatva mattress and I'm very happy with the product. It's beautiful and comfortable and I feel I made the perfect choice for me. Had I purchased a box spring, I would have ordered the 12.5" model but because I am using this on a platform bed, I chose the taller. There were issues with my delivery date due to the holiday schedules of the delivery service but one quick call to Saatva and they got on the phone with the delivery company and made sure that they found a way to have the mattress delivered on time. My only regret is that I did not keep the plastic bag that the mattress came in for my next move. I'm sure I will be enjoying this mattress for many years. Thanks Saatva!

Purchased a Saatva luxury mattress back in April of 2015. Not even 3 months later body impressions and sagging developed. Despite rotating mattress as instructed, impressions became worse (solid bed spring underneath). I'm not a heavy person (I weigh about 175, 6ft and my s.o. weighs less than 100 pounds). Because of this condition, my back has developed excruciating pain. In fact, I thought it couldn't be my mattress because of all the positive reviews (and $1000 price tag). I continued to sleep in it until November when I could afford another mattress (cheap no name) and now my back is back to normal.
I'm a busy person, I don't have time to get on the phone and complain but fast forward January 2016, I contact Saatva. I explain my issues to the service representative and I received a very generic response: refund $400 and I keep the admittedly faulty mattress or pay $212 and get a new one. What good is a mattress if I can't sleep in it?! If I pay $212 I'll be out $1200 and no promise if the next mattress will do the same thing. The representative could give me confidence. Judging by the representative's response, this appears to be a common complaint. Yes I read the overwhelmingly positive reviews and saw lengthy no obligation trial for 75 days but how can I be the only one who has a problem? I've lodged a complaint with the BBB and will try to spread the word! Luxury firm mattress by Saatva is very poor quality, DO NOT BUY!

After reviews of your product online and after being worn out trying out mattresses at the local retailers, and being even more confused over my wife (hard) and me (softer) we decided that the brick and mortar stores were a rip-off and we could get the comfort we both wanted in a premium mattress at an affordable cost if we gave you a try. We didn't need immediate gratification and could easily wait a bit for the mattress as we have been looking for some time. Buying experience has been positive and follow-up within 72 hours was done. We are looking forward to receiving our new mattress and restful nights. We are replacing a five year old Denver mattress which is sagging in excess of the arbitrary 1.5 inches and I had no inclination to repeat with another Denver mattress product.

I was impressed with the accolades that the company received. The price is awesome. We looked at a mattress and it was going to cost us 3400.00 dollars. WE ordered a new mattress for our vacation home in South Carolina. Initially, our order was declined, but within 60 minutes, I received a call from one of your representatives and they worked to straighten it all out. Very good effort on your part. I received a subsequent notice that the order has been confirmed and we are good to go. Won't see the mattress for 30 days or so, but as of this moment, nothing but good things to say.

They called me and sent me an email 7 (SEVEN) days ago confirming delivery at my house on 12/30/2015 between 1-5 pm... I took off work without pay as I punch a clock to be here during that time. Their email said I would be called the DAY BEFORE to confirm delivery schedule again. That never happened so I had to call them this morning. They said disregard that but they will here this afternoon... It is now 5:32 and I called them again. They are running behind (apparently my time is not important) but they told me they would be here by 6:30 pm as the new time of delivery... I wasted all day for this?!

RE: Queen Size 11.5 Luxury Firm Mattress (5 stars). First night, I was a bit disappointed with the lack of softness. The mattress was firmer than I expected. However for the first time in several years, I awoke WITHOUT lower back pain and stiffness. I was a bit skeptic about how much a mattress might break in over a 30-day period, and was fairly sure I would be returning it. Every night, the mattress was a bit more comfortable. The firmness of the top layer softened. After 2 weeks, the mattress felt extremely comfortable. It has now been about 3 weeks and I can truly say it is the most comfortable mattress I've slept on. I will be keeping the mattress.
Customer Service (5 stars). As far as customer service I would rate Saatva 5 stars as well. I ordered the mattress right before Thanksgiving, and then decided the next day to change the order to the lower profile mattress. I was able to contact Saatva on Thanksgiving day via their "Chat Live" service and then phone support. The service reps were courteous, helpful and capable. Changing the order took no longer than 2 minutes of my time. I was pleasantly stunned by the ease of changing the order. Thank you Saatva Team!

Great experience so far. I initially ordered online but didn't realise my credit card payment was past due so my card was declined. About 5 minutes afterward I had someone from Saatva contact me about my order offering to help me try to process it. A couple days later I called back and placed my order. Everyone I've talked to so far has been very pleasant. Excellent customer service!

I would like to return this mattress set. When I ordered, I was assured I would receive a brand new mattress, not a return. I was told it would take from 9-18 days to manufacture it. To my surprise, the delivery crew showed up a few days later (way ahead of my expectations) with a mattress. The mattress was delivered in a dirty plastic bag with no markings or sealing to keep elements out. The mattress had dirt spots on it and the delivery person said that is normal.
Upon further investigation, the mattress had numerous hairs and what appeared to be numerous pubic hairs found on it in multiple locations. I believe it is a used mattress. I have slept on the mattress for less than two weeks, and it already has a sag in the middle that is quite noticeable by the eye, and very noticeable when you try to sleep. I haven't had a good night's sleep since installing this mattress. Luxury Firm is not a true description. Please contact me with return directions.

Ordering went smoothly, our delivery was delayed so they waived the fee. The delivery company did an excellent job. Very pleased with the outcome. This company does always seem so far to take care of the customer. And yes the bed feels so good--very well made and my husband and I are having the best quality of sleep, not waking up with neck shoulder and back pain as we were in our only two year old stearns and foster Heidi series bed.

Hoping this mattress is as good as all the reviews say because disappointed so far. We placed our order on the 8th of December. We were told it would be delivered by the 28th. Around the 15th we called to see how things were going with it and was told it was already at the distribution center and would be delivered shortly. We called the center and they were rather rude and said they didn't have it. Now it's the 29th and still waiting.

I was searching for a new mattress online, being unhappy with my current local house brand from the local store. Came across Saatva online and started doing a lot of research. Watched some youtube videos on them, searched positive and negative reviews (couldn't find any negative ones). Looked into their production and how they came up with their designs. After learning how they do business and the prices they offer, I decided to give them a try. They have a excellent return policy (hoping I don't have to use it) and they seem genuinely concerned with their clients. Hoping for a great future experience and great night sleep.

I ordered a Luxury Firm mattress in King size on December 26, 2015. Two days later, I received a call to thank me for my purchase and to confirm my order information, address etc. I was told that my mattress will be delivered and set up in 9-18 days. I will receive another phone call at least two days prior to delivery. So far, I am very pleased with the ease of online ordering and the customer service support.

A representative from Saatva contacted me regarding my negative views on my recently purchased Saatva mattress. We discussed the problems my wife and I were experiencing. The polite gentleman explained that there may have been an issue in workmanship on the particular mattress that I received. I agreed on an exchange and received the new mattress the next day. Since we exchanged the mattress, miraculously my wife and I have not experienced any night sweats. Our newly exchanged mattress now exceeds our expectations and are more than happy with our purchase. When I initially purchased the mattress I saw it for the first time, I knew it was just an average mattress. I have slept and owned much better mattresses and the Saatva mattress I have to put under one of the worst mattresses I have ever owned. My wife and I are a healthy athletic couple in our upper 20's and I don't understand how this mattress can possibly get so hot. We wake up in the middle of the night sweating like we just came out of a hot shower. It has been the most uncomfortable sleep I have ever had in my life! It's as if the mattress sucks in all your body heat and gets hotter and hotter until you're boiling hot and sweating! Sorry but you can find a much better mattress for the same price.

I read reviews on Consumer Reports online and a reviewer discussed what he was looking for in a new bed. He said Saatva met his specifications and he was very happy with his choice. That was good enough for me. I chatted with David with Saatva online and was assured that I would have my order filled in my required time-frame. I feel that the price is moderate and the reviews are excellent. I look forward to receiving my new Saatva and I will happily review my sleeping experience in a few weeks.

As we have not yet received our bedding, all we can do is rate the purchase experience. After doing extensive research online and through various magazine articles, we decided to make our purchase affordable by zoning in on Saatva. Surfing through the website was easy, as was the process to purchase online. We immediately received confirmation via email and received a phone call within 24 hours of said purchase, to verify our order. Now we just await the delivery confirmation and how we feel about our Saatva once we have received the bedding.

The quality of materials and craftsmanship of the mattress are excellent. It was delivered within the time frame given at the time of ordering. My only dissatisfaction is that the mattress is too firm for my wife and I. I used the decision matrix on the website to determine which mattress to order and we both fit the criteria listed for the firmer (most popular also) mattress. After 10 nights, we both agree we have given it a reasonable period of time to adjust to it and it is still too firm. We will exchange it for the softer version and try again.

I have not received the mattress as yet, but the customer service so far to this point has been great! I first chatted with someone at about 5:00 in the morning - I was surprised to find that you were open, but happy about it. My husband says that it is a smart decision to have someone there at this time because if you cannot sleep, well it is nice to be able to chat with someone about a new mattress. After many months of research and skepticism we finally gave in and decided to order our new mattress from Saatva. We had decided the King Plush Soft was our new bed of choice. On Nov 21st we made the purchase via the internet and surprisingly we were very excited about. We did get a confirmation email and a follow up phone call the following Tuesday (Nov 24th). It was during this conversation that it was discovered we had accidentally ordered a California King instead of a Standard King. We asked that they change the order to a Standard King and they did without any issues or hesitations.
They stated our delivery estimate would reset to the 24th which is understandable. Fast forward to Dec 2 when we received a phone call from the delivery company stating that they would be delivering our bed way ahead of schedule. Unfortunately Saatva had sent a California King by mistake. A quick call to Customer Service to get this corrected resulted in the cancellation of this delivery and a commitment from Saatva and the delivery company that our correct Standard King mattress would be delivered on Dec 11.
Sure enough both Saatva and the delivery company confirmed on Dec 9th we were on schedule. Our new mattress arrived as scheduled and how excited we were. Until, my wife and I both realized that somehow, yep, the delivery company actually delivered us the same California King that was shipped out in error by Saatva on Dec 2nd. Another call to customer service discovered that Saatva had actually shipped out the correct mattress but the delivery company delivered the wrong one. Saatva explained that the delivery company was booked the rest of the day (yes we were slightly irritated) and they would call and schedule another time by the end of the day.
Well that phone call never happened. We finally heard from the delivery company this morning which stated they would be unable to deliver until Dec 17th. Another call to Saatva from us to explain that 4 additional days from today was unacceptable and that since the error was due to the delivery company we expected delivery today. Saatva graciously offered us a refund of $100 for our troubles which was insulting at best. After several phone calls back and forth between us, Saatva and the delivery company the best they were able to offer was a delivery date of Dec 18th. After some consideration we decided to go ahead and cancel the order and request a refund. If we could rate this zero stars we would. This is definitely not a time when the customer was the most important.

Based on your reviews this is a excellent eco-friendly mattress and that is why I decided to order from you. However, since this purchase is done online, the limited info you receive from your emails and calls is cause for concerns. Basically, it take 7-14 days for delivery of mattress, but there is no way to know how to track the process -- is it in production, is there a demand this time of year, how long does it take to make, can you expedite delivery... This is an investment for me and you should provide customers with more info/updates.

My wife and I needed a new mattress and going to a mattress store and shopping for one was the last thing in the world we wanted to do. So I started doing some research online and came across Saatva Mattress, a relatively new online-only mattress company. I read up on the company, their philosophy, and their product, and was pretty enthusiastic about giving them a try. The idea of getting a new, quality spring mattress delivered to my door without having to set foot in a store was, to say the least, incredibly enticing.
We placed the order for our new queen-sized "Luxury Firm" Saatva mattress and foundation on their website, and then sat back and waited for the magic to happen. About a week later, our new mattress and foundation arrived, and the delivery guys brought it up to our bedroom and set it all up. It all seemed too good to be true.
When lying down on the mattress for the first time, my first impression was that the mattress wasn't very firm at all. Saatva's website had suggested that their flagship "Luxury Firm" mattress would satisfy just about anybody, and that its firmness was similar to what you'd find in a hotel mattress: not too firm and not too soft. My wife and I decided to sleep on the mattress for a while and see how we liked it. Saatva's 75-day trial period would certainly come in handy, and we were grateful to have time to evaluate our purchase.
Unfortunately, on the second night of sleeping on the mattress, I noticed something that was alarming to me. I move around a lot during the night, and while adjusting sleeping positions that night I noticed that there were "clicking" sounds coming from the mattress. In addition to the sounds, which were obviously coming from the springs, I could also feel slight "pokes" coming through the mattress. I don't really know how to describe the sound and feeling, other than to say it sounded/felt like what you might feel when sitting down on an old, worn out couch.
The next morning, I got up, took the sheets off the bed, and pushed down on the mattress in various spots. Doing so confirmed that the clicking and poking was not a bad dream. Even then, I decided to live with it for a bit longer, hoping that maybe the mattress needed to be broken in or something, and that the clicking and poking would eventually go away.
But it didn't. So after about 60 days, I notified Saatva about the problem we were having. I was assured by their customer service representative--who, to be fair, was very kind and considerate--that what my wife and I were experiencing with our new mattress was an anomaly. Not only did he say we could exchange the mattress, but he said we could switch our "Luxury Firm" for a "Firm." So my wife and I would be getting a firmer mattress--which we wanted--that didn't click or poke us.
When the new mattress arrived, my wife and I were eager to try it out. The first experience was a bit of a hassle, but if this new mattress was what our customer service rep promised, all would be fine. The firmness of the new mattress was way better. In fact, it was just about perfect. So that was a win. But in the middle of the first night of sleeping on the new mattress, what do you suppose happened? The same clicking and poking from the springs, every time I adjusted my sleeping position. I couldn't believe it. The next morning, I even made a video of me pushing on the mattress and the clicking noise could be plainly heard. I sent the video off to our customer service rep and told him to have the mattress picked up because we were done with Saatva.
If the second mattress didn't have the same spring issue as the first, my wife and I would likely still be sleeping on it. But after having the same problem with two mattresses in a row, our confidence in the initial quality and long-term reliability of a Saatva mattress was permanently destroyed. For what it's worth, my wife and I ended up ordering a foam mattress from Tuft & Needle, another online mattress company. So far, it's everything we wanted in a new mattress. And the best part? No springs to make noise or poke me in the middle of the night! Saatva's customer service was top-notch. But their mattresses--at least the two that we temporarily owned--were anything but. I hope your experience with them is better than ours was.

I've waited over a month after receiving the mattress to give a review. I typically don't give a review unless the experience was either very bad or better than expected. We had some mishaps with the delivery company that was beyond their control (truck broke down) but since then we've been very pleased with our purchase. I was pretty apprehensive about purchasing a mattress without being able to see how it felt but I also don't feel the small amount of time laying on a new mattress in a store is a good evaluation either.
After going from our old worn out mattress and becoming accustomed to rolling over and changing positions throughout the night, I tend to feel more rested and find myself waking in the same position I went to sleep in. I am a little over 250 lbs and have a long history of back pain which has been greatly reduced as well. We purchased the Luxury firm and it offers plenty of support for me and is still soft enough for my wife who weighs considerably less. I would recommend this mattress to anyone.

Old mattress and box springs removed and new mattress and box springs in place 20 minutes later. Professional crew of 2 guys took care to set up where I wanted with no damage to the house. When I first purchased your product, I had a problem with entering my payment method, and mistakenly paid twice. Your online helper Samantha had me straightened out in 30 seconds (really). Never had service like that. If this is any indication of what to expect, I can't wait for delivery. Your customer service policies are top notch. Thank you again, Samantha.

The online experience was excellent. The site is easy to navigate and the ordering process was easy. The person on the chat line answered my questions right away. Then I received the confirmation call about 2 days later and she explained that the bed was being made and about when it would be delivered. I would have preferred that you call either the day of the purchase or early the next day to explain the delivery process. If you are allowing the customer time to reconsider, I would have been fine with an initial email explaining that someone would be calling in 2 days about the delivery and confirmation of purchase. Otherwise the experience has been great.

I spoke to a representative on Friday. She was extremely helpful. Answered all my questions and actually placed the order for me double checking all details during the call. I received confirmation email within minutes of placing the order. I also received a voice mail last night confirming my order details and a follow-up email this morning, phone & internet link should I have any issues in the future... Thank you!

My Saatva bed has coils sticking out from under the cover. You can see them through the sheets and feel them on your back. There are peaks and valleys throughout. The picture is a poor representation of the deep dents throughout. Positive reviews on this site can not be authentic. Buyer beware. On the very day it arrived, I asked them to pick it up and they said it would take 2 weeks. After much pressure they said they would pick it up mid-week so in about 3 business days.
Will keep you posted if that is the case. I decided I better try out a bed after this Internet fiasco and went to the Macy's site and found under clearance sale a 900.00 Simmons Beautyrest that feels like heaven. I went into the store to try it out. It is the luxurious feel Saatva claims to be. I really wanted to this work with the eco-friendly materials and cutting out the cost of a showroom. But sadly it does not. It seems to be one big Internet scam and I am sure they will go out of business.

Saatva's website has detailed/complete information about its mattress product. Many happy customers based on reviews and easy to follow ordering instructions. Within two days of our order, we received not only an email "thank you" but a phone call as well. Can't wait for our mattress to arrive!

I just ordered a new mattress set. I have not receive it yet because it is suppose to arrive between seven and 14 days from the date of the order. So far I have read the reviews from other clients and they are very encouraging. Also the customer service is unique. My husband and I are very excited that we are buying this mattress.
