Saatva Mattress Reviews

We just ordered our mattress a few days ago, but so far everything is just as the ordering info said it would be. Received a phone call yesterday from a very friendly agent who gave us the details of what to expect for the delivery of our Saatva Mattress.

My buying experience was excellent. However I have been sleeping on the mattress for 3-4 weeks now and after several washing of the deepest pocket sheets I could find, the extra thick mattress is just too high. I should have gotten the regular size mattress so the sheets don't slide up on the sides of the mattress. They fit at first but have (expectedly) shrunk some after washing. I am now left with the dilemma of trying to find deeper sheets (which I haven't been able to) or exchange the mattress for regular size one. Both eat some additional cost. I think they should give a more accurate measurement for the mattress which is more like 16" deep and not 14" as stated on the website.

No feedback yet as mattress not yet shipped... however representative was very responsive to phone call to make minor change after order placed. No hassle, just help.

I had questions which were answered immediately. After placing my order, I called the next day to make a change which was handled swiftly and my account adjusted. Everyone I have had contact with has exceeded my expectations.

Staff was very helpful and polite over the phone. Got me in touch with the delivery company as we have a very tight time frame to be at our second home to receive the mattress. Our Saatva king sized mattress and box springs were delivered this morning by Blue Truck or Blue Trunk of Little Rock and they did a superb job. The two delivery men were very polite and worked hard. The mattress looks well made and we are now anxious to try it out. The firmness is what we had hoped for.

Received order today. Upon inspecting found sizeable hole in the top of the box spring. Took multiple pictures as well as did the delivery people. Accepted the order as is with comments made on invoice about the tear/hole. Will contact you via phone next. While I am disappointed that the items were damaged, I cannot find fault with the maker at this time. I do expect to be taken care of and have this replaced asap.

Our mattress was to be delivered today, however we were informed early this morning, by delivery man Phil, that instead of the king size mattress as ordered they had a queen tagged with our name. He had no idea what happened to our king mattress/box. He had a copy of the correct order as placed on March 31, 2016. I was later contacted by your customer service department. I was told that it would take approximately another week to place another order. I have little faith in this process and, to date, am very disappointed with our Saatva experience.

Very happy with the experience so far. I have placed my order, received my confirmation, and had a customer service rep call me letting me know the mattress order information. They left me a message on my cell stating that they will call with shipping arrangements when the order is completed.

I enjoyed being contacted by Paul. From what I've read, there seem to be two main problems. The first is the delivery people that you can't control. The second seems to be that the mattress forms to the body in a very short time which would be uncomfortable. Hope neither of these happens with my order.

We are loving our new mattress! It is exactly what you promised. Also, I spoke with a man on the phone after we ordered (Paul I think? - sorry I was not able to write it down at the time). He said he can't promise anything but would personally walk the order through. He did. He followed up with me once and got the order to us in about half the time. I have a very strange, old house and the mattress will go in the attic bedroom. The door to the bedroom is only 5' tall, but it's a big room and I'm replacing a king size bed. I wasn't sure if I could "taco" the mattress just to get it into the room (like the movers must have 10 years ago) or if I should order 2 XL twins. After consulting the online chat, we determined the 2 twins would be best so as to preserve the coils/integrity of the mattress. Ordering on the Saatva site is super easy and they've already followed up with a call and an email. I have 3 friends who have ordered beds from Saatva and all are very pleased. I'm sure I will be too and I'm looking forward to my delivery!

After doing some research I ordered the Saatva Luxury Firm mattress since my 18+ year old mattress was due for replacement. The delivery was perfect, arrived exactly when they said they would. Now about my new bed. I love it. Great mattress. Very comfy. I would say, that's really luxury mattress. It's not too firm and not too soft. Exactly what I was looking for. I think I made the right decision to go with Saatva.

I was pleased with the product. The quality seems excellent. The persons I spoke with at Saatva were helpful and friendly. The only negative was the people who delivered my mattress. They were a little rough on the edges and were more interested in hurrying to get the mattress in place and leave than anything else. They were not professional in appearance and they did not come when they said they would.

Ordering our mattress was a wonderful experience. We have nothing but great things to say about this company. However, the delivery company you are using in the area of Madison, Wi has one delivery day and it's on a Tuesday. My husband and I both work on Tuesday. I called them to see if they could give me either a morning or afternoon time and they can't. They'll call us on Monday to give us a better idea. Therefore, one of us has to take a full day off to have a mattress delivered. That added to the cost of our mattress.

Ordering was convenient until I chose the PayPal option for payment. I don't know if the issue is with your site, but it didn't appear to validate email accounts that don't have conventional proper nouns. It repeatedly told me I had an invalid account or formatting. Otherwise, experience has been good so far.

Overall I am pretty happy with the Saatva experience. The website was easy to use, the product arrived quickly and was in excellent condition, and the mattress is great. The only issue I have is with the delivery process. The delivery team was great, but the delivery was not done as originally scheduled. The phone call with a customer service lady the day prior indicated that I was the first delivery of the day, at 11:30. The delivery did not occur until 1:30. As a result, I missed my kid's baseball game, and was sad as I really needed to be there. I tried to contact the delivery service at around 12 when I was getting worried, to check and get a more exact delivery time, but the service was closed. As a result I had nobody to contact and was stuck waiting at home for an unknown period of time.

I am so impressed with Customer Service and the ordering process. Gloria took the order and Kanella did the order confirmation and follow-up today. The website clearly explains the ordering process and delivery procedure. It is comforting to know I can call at any time with a question or concern. I haven't yet received my mattress but between my online research, Saatva's chat feature and the ordering system, choosing Saatva and selecting which mattress was right for us very easy. The mattress will save us $1500 from a comparable mattress we found in-store - this makes us VERY happy! I like that Saatva only has 3 options. More than that makes shopping difficult.

I did a bit of research online to find your company and was impressed with your website, access to reviews as I have never purchased a mattress online before. I watched an interview with your CEO and agreed with many of his points expressed about how consumers are tempted to buy discounted mattresses. I honestly have never been happy with my last purchase 8 years ago and can't wait to try out the luxury firm mattress. And, having a trial period helped with my decision to purchase. Thanks.

After one week of sleeping on our new (luxury firm) Cal King mattress, we find it to be very comfortable, and we wake up feeling much happier than before -- the mattress definitely deserves a 5-star rating. Regarding the delivery, their timing was good and the driver and his assistant were VERY patient and pleasant. BUT we had indicated in our order and reiterated on the phone that ours is a awkward circular driveway that could NOT handle a very large truck. Unfortunately they came in a big moving truck-sized vehicle. It took great patience on my husband's part and the driver's to negotiate that turn without damaging the landscaping and sprinkler system; if our trees had not been freshly trimmed, they would have been severely damaged. We see from other reviews that the delivery systems you have in place are probably your greatest weakness -- an online company can't afford that!

My husband and I needed a new mattress, so I began the process of looking at mattress reviews. After several weeks of inquiries, we decided on a Saatva mattress. How many times does someone in a manufacturing business give you their direct line for any follow-up questions/concerns? Right - none. I can't remember the last time I've slept more than 90 minutes without pain waking me. I've had 4 mattresses in the last 12 years, and I can tell you that testing out a mattress in a brick & mortar store doesn't mean a thing! Anticipating some sleeping bliss. Your delivery company delivered the mattress in fine condition, but they wrecked my walls and light fixture trying to move it in and removing the old. They chipped the wall picture frame moulding, scraped the paint on 4 separate walls, all different colors, left black hand prints on another wall and bent my stairwell chandelier. My wife was home at the time and did not notice the extensive damage. 1 or even 2 little wall scratches are expected, but not 4 walls, plus dirty hand prints and my light fixture. I personally moved my last mattress in 2 years ago, without any damage. This is a case of just clear carelessness on their part. Please advise.

I have been pleased with the follow up experience from Saatva. Today I received a message via my telephone requesting I verify my order. I got an email yesterday that my mattress will be completed by Friday, February 19th. I'm confused!

I have also sent you an email. The mattress arrived today during the expected delivery window. The delivery men refused to remove their street shoes before entering the apartment. I asked them to wear plastic over their shoes. This they did. When they took the mattress out of the plastic and put it on our bed frame, I immediately noticed several dirty marks on the side of the mattress. This is unacceptable in a brand new mattress. I look forward to hearing from you as to whether you intend to send a new clean mattress or whether you will be sending someone to remove the soiling from this mattress. I have already emailed you a photograph of the dirty marks. Thank you.

After doing some research and reading reviews and assessing what's important to us in a company and in a product we ordered our Saatva king mattress set. Two days later we got a phone call from a representative from the company to confirm and double check our order in detail. We were told where it will ship from and given information via email to contact Saatva if we should have any further questions. We are looking forward to getting this bed and hoping it is everything it is purported to be. As I said - so far - pleased and excited. Customer service is top notch.
