    I don’t remember why I chose an Easy Rest bed. Somebody called me and I just listened to the salesman when he came. He was professional and answered all my questions. Overall it was very nice, it was very easy. And the only question that I’ve ever had about it was I paid for the bed and one of the deals was I was going to get this pillow. And the pillow came and then I got a $100 charge from Easy Rest and I was curious as to what the $100 charge was. But I’ve recommended it to several people.

    First of all, I chose an Easy Rest bed for comfort for my age. I need to get totally relaxed and my circulation improved because the bed can adjust.     The Easy Rest bed is doing all right. I needed a mattress on my old bed anyway. The mattress, I am enjoying it. I guess it would have to be on account of the salesman that I bought it. It’s real good but now I’d seen in the papers some a lot cheaper. I don’t know if they’ve got all the features this one got on it but they’re way cheaper than the one I bought. So far, I am enjoying the Easy Rest.

    I had no problems with the Easy Rest bed. It was the only one I’ve ever seen. The saleslady came by here and talked to me right here in my kitchen. I purchased it for a good night’s sleep and for arthritis. I use the vibrator the most. I’m 79 years old and I’ve had this Easy Rest bed now for about 3 months. I was in the hospital. They came out here the day I got out of the hospital and set it up and took the old bed away for me. I think it was a good experience.

    The Easy Rest bed, I guess, is okay. I have a bad back and that’s why I purchased the bed. But the delivery system was absolute crap. They didn’t get here until 9:30 which was not a good experience. I was given the timeslot between 6:00 and 8:00 and they arrived at 9:30 in the dark and ran over a tree of mine. I guess they did okay. They set it up although I’ve got a piece that I don’t know where it goes. So I wasn’t too happy with that. The bed is okay, I just think I’ve overpaid and I’m sort of sorry I did it in a way. And that’s not their fault; it’s mine for getting myself involved.

    I needed a new bed. That was the reason why I purchased an Easy Rest bed. I was looking for something along that line. And then I ordered the pillow and it came and the rep brought me the pillow and she had a good spiel and got me to listen. And after we got to talking, I got interested. And then when they gave me the discount, I felt like I would be getting a good deal on it so I told them to bring it out. I use every bit of the bed. I raise my head a little bit, raise the feet a little bit, and I get my big behind up there and turn the massager on and about the time it goes off, I go on to sleep. It’s been wonderful for me. I enjoy it. I’d rate it a 5. I’m very happy with it! Everything was professional and everything was delivered on time and everybody was nice. I couldn’t ask for any more. We were all happy.

    We’ve had our old mattress ever since we met but we had new mattresses on it, about seven.     I’ve always wanted a bed that would raise the head. I have a little reflux problem so I bought an Easy Rest bed. It has helped with the problem. I raise the foot a little bit and the head a little bit every night. I just leave it that way. But one side of the bed is defective and they were going to send me another side and fix this one up. And the only thing I have a problem with is the sheet’s slipping. So I give it a 4. I like the bed. I’m real pleased with it. I wouldn’t do without it myself.

    I sent in a thing through the mail to Easy Rest and it said that we could win a bed if my name was selected. A while passed and I didn’t pay any attention. Nobody ever called me. But someone named Janet ** called me. She said, “Well, I’d like to come out and talk with you about this bed.” So I made an appointment. She came out and she was here quite a while and she’s a likeable person and she likes people. So we hit it off good. I told her I didn’t know if I’d be able to sleep in the bed. When we discussed about me buying the bed, she said, “Well, if anybody needs that bed, it’s you.” She’s real friendly. She called Mr. ** at the store and they negotiated a price. She said $100 down and $100 a month. They brought my bed. I had to talk to Mr. ** about the price. We decided on that price. We got to talking about my back and I told him the same thing that I told Janet. I didn’t know if I’d be able to sleep on the bed. So he said that if I have a problem to just give him a call. He gave me his number.

    About two weeks after, I had the bed. I couldn’t sleep on it. But I thought I’d give myself a couple of weeks to just get used to the bed. But the bed is too hard. When I want vibration on my bed, there ain’t no way to cut off the vibration on my pillow, no matter what strength I have on the bed. And I told him. I talked about that. They came out and they were saying basically if I have any questions and I said, “No.” I didn’t lay down on the bed when they were trying out the stuff. I should have done that, but I didn’t think better. It’s such an expensive bed. It would be like sleeping on clouds. After about two weeks, I called Mr. ** and the lady said, “Well, I don’t know where he’s at.” I said, “Do you know him?” She said, “Yes.” I said, “Would you give him the message to call me, please?” And I explained to her the situation, that I might not be able to keep my bed. I didn’t get a call.

    The next month, I called some more. And the lady at the bank called me to ask me if there was a certain day of the month that I would like for them to send the bill statement. I told her no. I went to explain to her about my bed and she said, “Oh, my!” She said, “Well, I’ll see if I can call over there and get in touch with Mr. ** for you.” I said, “Oh, gosh, that will be good because I can’t get in touch with him.”

    So anyway, time went on, a couple of weeks. I got a telephone call from a lady, customer service, I guess, and I explained the situation to her. She said, “Well, I’ll send the men out there and they’ll bring you a cushion thing that’s higher and put it inside the mattress top.” And I said, “Okay.” So they came and did that and like I said, I should have laid down on it then. But anyway, it hasn’t helped. I guess, I needed to just stay with the kind of bed I had. It’s hard but it’s not as hard towards the bottom of the top mattress. And then it’s real, real soft on the top. And that’s why I bought the bed.

    When I’d seen the ad in the mailbox, I thought, “Oh, God, that was just so wonderful having my legs to be able to come up.” I have a damaged nerve in my right leg. And I have my feet raised up and the slight vibration does feel good. My heat thing that goes on top of my sheet, they wrinkle. When I lay down on them, I feel the darn things inside the wires and I shared that to the two men that came out. And I told them, I said, “That’s very uncomfortable.” The heat thing feels real good but you got to touch it in a certain place before you feel the heat.

    I was just getting ready to call this number that the woman gave me to call them. And she said, “I see you’ve been trying to get in touch with Mr. **. You’re having a problem.” And I said, “Yeah.” I explained it all to her. So I realize now I can’t sleep on the thing and I don’t know what to do. I don’t care if my credit thing is good or not because I don’t work and I wouldn’t be applying for anything else for credit.

    I’m not satisfied with the bed. I’m not satisfied with the service. I can’t get anybody to call me back. The two men that came out both times when they first brought my bed and the second time when they brought me that sponge thing were very, very nice. But other than that, I don’t rate them high at all on anything.

    I didn’t get it because of medical injuries. I saw Easy Rest advertised on TV and thought I’d try it. It works pretty good so far and I just put the heating pad on last time.     I have a bad foot. I don’t get out to see people much and I have to use the cane. The ones that brought the Easy Rest, they said we could get new inserts to go on that bed that would be softer. I never did get them. The bed that we did have, it was softer than this one. The Easy Rest bed, we like it just fine other than it being harder than we were used to. It’s a very nice bed and I’ve got the feet tilted some and the head. If it was a little softer, I’d say it was a great bed.

    I had only owned my previous bed for a short while. I probably had it about four months. I needed something better than what I had already. The lady kind of demonstrated some of the stuff that was going to be in the Easy Rest bed. She was very professional. She answered all my questions and I felt very comfortable with her and the way she presented it. I’m not getting any younger and I thought it would help my back. And I like to read in bed at night. I like the way it goes up and I like the way the bottom goes up and the top. If I got down, I would have my own hospital bed. It would be a lot more comfortable than a hospital bed.

    I would recommend Easy Rest to a friend. It’s very comforting to know that I can go to bed and be comfortable whichever way I need the bed to lay. And with the massage unit on it, it really makes me rest comfortably. Usually, it’s before but if the massage unit kicks off, I’m asleep.

    I’ve been in the hospital a lot and they would always kind of raise me up in a sitting position. I wanted to read in bed, just lay in there and watch TV in my bedroom. That’s really the main reason I got it. But I do have back problems and I have a lot of heartburn and all that kind of stuff because I am a senior citizen. However it takes longer to get adjusted to the bed. I’ve always slept on a full-sized bed all my life so I almost fell off of it several times. And you can’t find sheets to fit it because my bed is longer than a regular twin bed. So that’s been a problem. Most places don’t carry those long sheets. And then when you do find them, they charge you double for them. So that made me mad. But I’m getting there. I’m using all my full-sized sheets. I just quit trying to find the long ones.

    The vibrator works great. I enjoy that. It’s everything that it’s supposed to be. I live in a senior citizen community and a lot of them have come over to see it and all that. I would just tell them that it’s wonderful to watch TV or to sit up kind of relaxed and read. I do that all the time. That’s what I really enjoy about it and I would tell them that. And I gave them the address and phone number of Easy Rest.

    I’ve seen Easy Rest advertised years ago. I purchased it because I’ve wanted one for several years but didn’t have the money. And I have two small beds in that one bedroom.     We got mattresses and we had about three or four different mattresses. They run anywhere from $800 to $2000 and most of them were spring mattresses. When they get to sink, hell, the whole thing would sink in. And the warranty would always have some type of excuses why they couldn’t have changed it and stuff. So that’s one of the things that led to getting an Easy Rest at that time because it was more like a hospital-type bed. And then we had one on a family reunion trip a couple of years ago in Texas. The mattress on the bed was just so firm and looked so well. I thought this is compatible to what they had. It kind of gave me the idea of trying it out. Their people were very nice - the salesperson and the young man that came and installed the bed. I had no issues with them at all.

    My wife gets real good sleep. I have degenerative bone disease but it doesn’t do me much good. When I take my medication and go to bed and when the medication would wear off about three hours, I’m up and I have to come out of bed. Then I can be up for maybe 30 to 40 minutes and everything will get back to normal before I can lay back down again.

    We bought a new bed when we moved over here. That was about 15 years ago. Then Easy Rest came here and talked to us. We put in for a free one. They came here and they wanted too much money to start out with. Finally, we talked them down to my caliber. I’m disabled and my wife’s retired. We’re on a fixed income. They guarantee it. And I had thought about getting a Sleep Number but they make too much noise, everybody tells me. That was the reason that we went with Easy Rest. It was the quietness.     Well, the one bed that my sister brought me, I’ve only had it about six months. And before that, I was sleeping on the couch because I couldn’t sleep. I couldn’t breathe laying flat, and this Easy Rest puts my head up enough where I can breathe. I was also having a whole lot of trouble with my back and my legs and it has helped me.     I had to prop my ankles up on pillows and during my sleep, sometimes I’d wake up and the pillows were not under my legs. And that was one reason why I bought an Easy Rest bed. And I thought I would enjoy that, and I have. I’ve had a mattress or two since then but it’s the same bed for like 25 years. I guess my mattress was bought about 10 years ago. I use mostly the head and the foot raised up. And the foot is raised up about as far as it will go.

    I think it was an advertisement that you could win one - maybe that pushed me a little bit that maybe I’d be the lucky one. So that sort of got me going. The Easy Rest rep was very good. He was not pushy. He had a great personality and I think that was a plus. And the ladies that I talked with when I called were extremely nice and they weren’t pushy either. So I think a lot of the personnel and the one they sent back here to talk to me was very nice. I’m enjoying the bed very much.

    I think my ex-husband was the one that ordered the bed. He wanted to see the pictures or whatever. So he was involved. I wasn’t. When they came to the house, I was with my daughter. He told us about his leg that he had and how it helped him. I’m not very happy with it. I think I paid way too much for it. And I hardly use it. I have tried to use it. I’m elderly and I think I just shouldn’t have done this. I appreciate the kindness that was given me. I just wish I would have thought more before I bought it.

    It’s not as big a bed, for one thing. Mine was queen sized and was bigger as far as the bed was. Because I have two little dogs. I miss having a bigger bed. The mattress seems comfortable enough. I’ve raised it up and raised it down but I don’t find much use to it and I don’t see that it helps me at all. I do have a bad leg but it isn’t doing much for me. I’ve owned my other bed for 25 years and I like my other bed better. I don’t care for this one as much.

    I wanted to check out the Easy Rest adjustable beds for a long time. And I was quite pleased with the demonstration and I decided to bite the bullet and just get it. So that’s what I did. I could say that I purchased the bed due to medical injuries, illness and to get a good night’s sleep. I’m satisfied with it. Basically, I like raising the head so I can read. Sometimes, I raise the foot level, too. It just depends. But mostly, I just raise the head so I can read easily at night.     First of all, I needed a new bed. I had one before I bought my last mattress which was 20 years ago. I was interested in the concept of the Easy Rest. I needed to rest with my legs elevated. I wanted something that I felt I would get a good night’s sleep because I wasn’t sleeping well. I had actually been in touch with them. They came out and gave me a good deal on it and I bought it.

    The thing I use the most is the elevation of the end of the bed. I use the head area at times too. The only thing I don’t like about it is it’s difficult to get a bed skirt on it. Separately it slides a little bit, particularly at the top. I had to push it back in place. Otherwise, so far it worked out well for me. I had a great experience! If I were not happy with it, I would’ve called them and asked them to come pick it up.

    I had a Craftmatic for about 25 to 30 years. I was told Easy Rest was one of the best beds out and that Craftmatic don’t make their beds anymore so I got one. It’s a comfortable bed. So far, it works well. I haven’t had too much of a problem. The only thing is it makes a little noise when it goes up and down like a creaking noise. I thought it was supposed to have no sound. I don’t know if it’s the mattress or the bed that’s doing that. As far as the different settings like up and down and vibration, they all seem to be working or functioning properly.     My old bed was a Sealy Posturpedic firm. I’ve had it for 10 years. That turned into a hammock. It shouldn’t live up to what they advertised because I had it for about 2 months, the coils come out on the sides and I would scratch my legs on the sharp edges.     They sent me this Easy Rest pillow that is as hard as a rock. I sure would never ever want memory foam. It’s so tight in the covering that the memory foam is not memory foam anymore. I use it to put it at my back, but I have to sit up straight because it’s such a horrible pain.

    I bought the bed 2-3 months ago. The only reason I’ve got the bed is the adjustment, because I like to lay in there and watch TV. It’s okay to adjust the bed, but when it comes to massage, it’s just vibrating the bed - there’s no massage to it. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody. I would advise anybody that’s interested in it, come over here, lay on mine, see what you think… if you want to pay that price, it’s up to you. I paid mine in full. I’m disappointed.

    I’ve had my old bed for at least 25 years - not the one I was sleeping on. My son traded my bed for his. It was lumpy, so I needed to get another one. But I hadn’t had it very long. I got the Easy Rest because I want a good night’s sleep, and for medical reasons too - it has helped. I love it! Both the one that took my order and the ones that brought it out were real nice. My favorite feature is being able to lift up the head and the foot part of the bed. I read in bed a lot and that’s very comfortable to do that. And when my legs start hurting, I have to raise up the bottom part of the bed. I just really enjoy it. I’ve learned to sleep better without having to turn over so much.

    There was a card on one of the catalogues that I had and it said there was a possibility of winning an Easy Rest and that’s why I sent the card in. Then when I talked to one of their representatives and made an appointment, I told him the same thing. That was the only reason I sent it in. But I agreed for him to come out and talk to me anyway. Previous to this, my daughter had gotten one because of a medical problem. But it wasn’t an Easy Rest. I have some medical problems that I needed the option of changing my position, so that’s why I wanted to go ahead and talk to the representative to see how much it would cost and what I would have to do to get my money to pay for it.

    So he came up and he did his demonstration which was very impressive. His first name is John. His demonstration was very good and I realized I have diastolic heart failure which causes my feet and legs to swell. And so I needed to be able to sleep with my feet a little bit above my heart. What I was doing was propping pillows up which during the night would slip, of course. I couldn’t afford the first priced one, but I have to make it work because I have to have it. That’s another part of the story. I got the next price just below the top bed. The mattress is the same. The guarantee is the same and everything, but I got a full instead of a queen. I’ve got a few things that’s not on there that was on their top bed. But I got what I needed.

    It has been very beneficial to me. My feet don’t swell like they did and my back doesn’t hurt when I get up. I’m pleased. Very satisfactory.

    It’s been five years since I got one of those Tempur-Pedics from one of the stores downtown. I had that one for a while.     Easy Rest came and they talked about it and they talked me into it. I guess it’s good because I bought it. And they said with my back problems and all that it would help. I still have not learned to sleep on my back with the bed up, to help how it’s supposed to help. But it’s okay. I’m enjoying it. I could sit up to read. I read my devotional and then I read my book. I get to do that before I had to lie down to go to sleep. I guess I like that best. As for the interaction with the sales rep that came out, they were professional and able to answer all questions.

    Right now, until I learn to do what they want me to do, I would rate it as a 2 because I have not learned to sleep on my back. I just can’t seem to do it. I sleep for a little bit and then I’m awake a while so that’s not good. So it hasn’t helped in that way very much. But if I learned to do it, when I am not getting up early, I can try a little harder to sleep on my back. And maybe it will help what they tell me it will. I like it okay.

    I called Easy Rest and had a representative come out and demonstrate it. We used pillows and he used the vibrator to show me what to do. And then there was another guy. I just couldn’t afford what they were asking for because I am on a very low fixed income. I’ve had the bed for a couple of months now. So far I’m enjoying it. I broke a bone in my back. I had damaged my back a long time ago when I went out fishing and slipped on slippery moss. And then I broke a bone not too long ago. I guess it was back in March, something like that. And my orthopedic doctor told me that it would help me to get a reclining bed, to get a hospital bed.

    Well, I had the home health nurse trying to help me get a hospital bed, but that wouldn’t work. So anyway, I decided to go this direction and was able to get enough money to pay for it. I had to find out if I could get that much money. I had just bought a brand new mattress and it was one of those orthopedic mattresses. And it was very comfortable but I couldn’t recline unless I put something under the head end of the bed to lift me up, and that didn’t work.

    I just like the Easy Rest bed because I can recline and vibrate and it is helping my arthritis and my shoulders. I have already recommended it to several friends. And they said, “Oh, my goodness. I couldn’t pay that much.” I said, “Well, I’m not telling you what I bought it for because they will have to tell you.” And of course, they wanted to know what I had to give for it. And I said, “No, I can’t tell you that. You have to see what they’ll let you have it for.”

    Overall, I like it. It’s all right. If it will just help me a little more especially my back. I’m 91 years old and I know that I’ll always have back problems. It isn’t helping my back yet. I don’t know what I’m doing wrong, what I’m supposed to be doing. So I’ll just have to go with what the bed can help me do. I think it’s wonderful.

    I like the bed very much. I’m very comfortable with it. Especially if I’m tired, because I work at night and it’s hard for me to sleep because it’s hard to sleep in the daytime.     I needed an Easy Rest bed because I have a reflux problem and I also have a breathing problem. I need to sleep with my head raised but sometimes you need to get that head back down quick because you get tired putting it up like that and then the vibration relaxes me. And I have a problem with my feet swelling so I can raise my feet when I need to and it’s just been a blessing for me. My favorite feature is probably the raising of the head and feet. You can put a pillow under your head better than you can put a pillow under your feet. It gets kicked away and I guess the raising of the feet of the bed and the second maybe the vibration.

    The sales rep was very professional. He was very courteous and I gave him a hard time. I didn’t mean to but in view of the fact that I wasn’t free to make a decision without with my daughter’s permission, I couldn’t do it at that time so he had to make another trip and he did willingly and cheerfully and so it was a very pleasant experience. The bed has helped with my health problems immensely and I just wouldn’t want to do without it now.

    I just bought an Easy Rest bed and it’s the second one. The main reason I bought it is because I needed to be able to adjust the head and foot and so on and so forth. I can’t sleep flat.     I've had several back surgeries and am in a lot of pain. So we were hoping to find something that was a little bit comfortable. My favorite feature of the Easy Rest is the adjustability of it. The Easy Rest sales rep able to answer all our questions and was professional. The delivery team was able to set up the bed and answered all questions as well. I would rate it about a 2 because I would say that it’s just too soft for my back. It's actually causing me more pain. Overall experience with the personnel was real good. It's just that I have a little problem with the bed. I'd say that you sink in it too much. You can’t sit on the edge of it. You’ll just roll off. That’s my experience.

    My wife sent in some information and the Easy Rest guy who came seemed to be adequate, and also the bed I had which had the vibration and stuff in it and we had a problem with the mattress and our spring broke so we bought the Easy Rest. The only thing I have problem-wise with it is the length. I’m about 6ft and the bed seems to be a little bit short but I don’t know. I think he made note of it and I don’t know if we ordered a longer bed or they didn't supply a longer bed. So that is the only disadvantage I have. My feet are at the bottom and my head is almost at the headboard. That’s the regular length that I had on the other one and what I did was I moved that thing up, the mattress up and put a pillow in there. Now I can’t do that with this one. But further in that, everything seems to be doing all right. It vibrates okay and does its thing right if I get in the right mode. They delivered on time.

    I think their price is a little high but I don’t know what the going rates are now. I don’t have anything really to compare it with. The bed seems to be very functional and everything. My wife had a little problem with moving it around when she makes the bed and we found out that the wheels were locked. I unlocked the wheels but everything is working as far as I can tell.

    One of my problems that I’d kept on asking for and they kept giving to me and they took it away from me was what controls are on the remote, and it’s a trial by error, what you hit and the headboard goes up or the feet go up or whatever and I asked the guy that brought the bed and I asked the guy that sold me the bed and they all gave me slips and we'll all take them back out again out of the package. So that to me was a problem that their people don’t seem to have enough of this information with the remote.

    I bought my old bed in about ’93. I got this letter from Easy Rest and I signed it - where you might win one. So I sent those cards in and then I got a call. They came out and demonstrated the bed and we thought it would be good for us so we bought it. The sales rep was professional. The delivery team was kind of not really all that friendly but I guess that was just their way of doing. They were doing their job but they could have been a little bit more friendly. I am not going to say anything bad about them but they were professional and put together.

    Right now, we’re just sleeping on it. We haven’t been using it like the demonstration and everything, like they showed it and all but I have used it to sit myself up and the vibrate thing.     Mostly my husband decided that he thought the Easy Rest would be best for me because I’ve had a lot of back problems and when I was in the hospital I keep my head elevated. Also, my feet and legs. I can do this at home so that’s basically why we got it. My husband said that they set it up and moved it over the porch where we wanted it. I was not here. I was in the hospital and they came on Friday before I came home on Saturday so it was already up.

    The bed I had before was awful. It was too hot. I could hardly come out from the bed. I have many nights, I don't know why, I couldn't sleep. I had a king sized bed and I wanted a smaller one so I had it about I think 2 or 3 years. The delivery team was good. It was one man. He tried to eat a whole house up. He looks like a hungry person who picks up everything to eat. Anyway, ever since I got the Easy Rest bed I can sleep. I sleep better. It's soft and it's not so hot. Very comfortable. I go home and head straight to the bed. I sleep a little bit longer. I like it very much and I don’t want to give it away.

    However, he promised me 2 pillows. He said I could get the pillow from him if I buy or not and after I buy the bed, I could not avail of. Nobody told me about sending anything. He said, “Your two pillows will be on the way.” I tell you one thing - I have a big family. Everyone wants to come see my bedroom. We all share everything. But if I don’t get my 2 pillows, I will tell everybody not to buy the bed.

    I have been sleeping on a sofa. Now I didn’t have to. Now we have a spare bedroom and it’s got a beautiful bed in it, full size. My husband and I, we’ve been married for 23 years and we had our own bed together. So then we had these two little dogs, a little poodle and a little miniature doxie. The doxie was extremely jealous. He’d be growling and he tried to bite me more than once. I just didn’t like it. I slept better on the couch and so I have to tell him to get off. He was there on the couch.

    The Easy Rest seems fine at the time. I have a lot of back problems and the only thing that I wish it had that it doesn’t seem to have is it doesn’t have an on and off button. So sometimes especially when I have it on the massage thing I get sleepy and I wanted to sleep but it just keeps going and then I can’t go to sleep. It isn’t as comfortable as I thought it would be. Another, it would really be good if it had heat with it. It will improve it a whole lot. Also, I had a hard time getting in that bed. It stays up too high for me. I’m only like 4’10” the last time I got measured and I have a hard time getting into that.

    Before I had my Easy Rest, I had a bed for years ago and it was a hand-me-down. They didn’t need it anymore so they just gave it. I have osteoarthritis. Last December, I fell and broke my hip. Anyway, it got where I couldn’t even sleep in my bed and I ended up with a small fracture in my back and I had to have a back procedure done. When I got the letter in the mail, I thought, “Well, I’ll just call and see how much it is and all that.” A lady came out and she was real nice and the price that they finally gave me was something that I could afford. And then I found out it has a massager in the bed. It helps a lot because I still have a back problem and I probably always will. Anyway, it’s really nice to get to sleep in a bed now instead of a recliner. I like reclining the head and the feet. When I get ready to read in the bed, it’s a lot better now. Of course, the massager really helps my back. I don’t really use it all the time but only when my back starts bothering me. I still can’t stand on my feet no more than 20 minutes because my back starts hurting, so I have to sit down and rest. I am so glad we got it!

    Before this Easy Rest bed, I have owned my old bed for 30 years. I bought an Easy Rest because I need to sit up in bed sometimes, work a crossword puzzle and then let myself down and go back to sleep. Their sales rep was very professional. He showed me how to use it and all of that. The bed is very comfortable. And it’s a mattress that will let me sit up and then lie down without having to get out of the bed, out of a chair.

    I already had one, and in fact, it’s in our guest room. We had tried a different bed in our room and it didn’t work out at all so we got the Easy Rest. We have had the other bed for 18-20 years. I have reflux so I actually got it for the head. I sleep a lot better if my head and my legs are raised a little bit. I would definitely recommend it to somebody. I’m a little bit disappointed because the one I bought seven years ago is a more deluxe than what I have here. I did not get their deluxe model. This is their next to deluxe and I’m a little disappointed if I were to compare the two of them. For one thing, my first bed was higher than this one is. The guy I spoke to on the phone said he would set it up, and I don’t think that’s what happened.

    I had one Easy Rest bed when I lived by myself. I owned it for now 20 years. Then I got married. A guy came around and he was real good. The one I had was just perfect for me that’s why we bought this. But this one just doesn’t work. You just sink down in it. Then I can hardly get out of it because the sides are sagged. I just don’t have any favorite feature of the bed. When it vibrates, it makes off this racket. And that’s when you want to go to sleep. Vibrate to sleep.

    I’m 83 years old so I’ve got aches and pains and all of that. My back bothers me and I also have some problems with my hip, so I bought this bed. I chose Easy Rest because it had a couple of massage things you could use and it elevates your feet and legs. This mattress has really done a good job for me. Usually, I can’t sleep too well at night. But since I’ve gotten this, I can sleep pretty well. The leg elevation is good too. I think I’m getting the most out of those two things.

    I had my old bed for fifteen or sixteen years. The mattress, when they took it off, they said it was in a very good condition. It just didn’t have all of the things that the Easy one does. I’m pretty happy that I got it. I gave it a lot of thought because it’s kind of an expensive operation. But I am getting something from it.

    My back and my leg, everything hurts me all the time. And I’ve been to a chiropractor, I’ve been to doctors and everything. So I got this card in the mail and it said register to win a free bed. So I sent the card in and Easy Rest called. They made an appointment. The man just kept talking and talking and talking and my husband kept saying no, no, no, no and then I did it anyway. But I feel like it’s not what I got. I don’t know how it gets to work but I have paid for what I got. That’s over $3,000 that I could have used on something else because that’s really not helping me.

    I had my old bed for about a year. I paid $1,000 for this mattress, just plain mattress. They seem to have been pretty good mattresses but I thought, well this Easy Rest is adjustable. Because when I lay down on my back, I can hardly sleep on my back. I feel like I can’t breathe when I lay on my back. So I bought the adjustable bed that will help me there too. It’s not doing a lot for me and my back still hurts, my legs still hurt. He said it’s right for my height. To me, it’s not high enough but you need to perch my back again over to the other but I don’t know. I’m just really not pleased. I don’t know if I would really recommend it. To some people it might be okay, but it’s not.

    I really didn’t choose Easy Rest. I sort of got talked into it when a salesman came. He was a fast talking salesman. But I think he told me the truth, that’s the main thing, for the most part. He was very professional. We had a misunderstanding about money because they had charged me I think it was $3,000 when I’d already paid $1500 on it. They hadn’t given me the papers and he’d told me that he had taken care of my loan. And at the time, in fact I told him, “Well, you really are speedy.” But I don’t like people taking care of my loans. I’m an old lady but by the time you get my age, you’d seen enough. I didn’t do anything then. I thought, I’m not going to be accusatory. But that certainly double checked that wrong. Well, the next day, they brought the paperwork and it was nearly 18% on that loan. I hit the ceiling and I refused to pay that and of course, they put the manager on who proceeded to tell me his 20 reasons. I said, “Look, don’t even go there. Bottom line is come get the mattress, I’m not paying 18% on anything.”

    So they gave me my money back. I think it was over $1,000, but he gave me $1,000 and which was fine. And I paid the loan. I didn’t even have a loan. I went ahead and paid for it. I told them that it had been such an unpleasant experience I didn’t want to be paying by the month. I get mad every time I did. So I just went ahead and paid it. Other than that, it had nothing to do with the mattress. And the salesman, other than just assuming I was stupid enough to pay 18%, he was very nice. I wouldn’t want him to lose his job because he worked very hard to sell that mattress. $5,000 is a lot of money to pay for a mattress. I was nervous about it anyway because I don’t have that kind of money but I was so hurting so bad, I was ready to try anything. I think you don’t take advantage of that and justly so. But then to pull that, I did like it.

    On the other hand, I have a really bad back and because of it, I have a terrible leg problem - they weren’t cramps, it’s more like seizures. So it’s helped a lot. The fact that I can raise the legs and all. That’s what helps the pressure on my legs when I have those seizures or whatever they are. And that’s the best part. Other than that, it’s a very comfortable mattress. It’s for my back.

    I got this bed for my back. I couldn’t find better people than they were. They were real nice. I told him shove off with it. That bed is expensive. I said, “I can’t afford it.” He just kept on and kept on. I said, “I appreciate what you’re doing is to help me get that bed. But I can’t afford it.” My son told me, “I’ll make the down. I’ll pay it.” So he made the down payment and the first payment on it. Well, my son said if he had to make the payments on it, that it was going to be his bed. But I know that bed is made for me, for my heart and my weight. There is no way he could sleep on that bed. Because he’s 6’1” or 2.

    It has helped a whole lot. I don’t get up hurting anymore like I used to. I like all of the features. Now, I’m not too pleased about the way you put that massage, I put it on every night when I go to bed. I put it on every morning before I get up. And it’s mostly like something I’ve ever been on that I can “Okay, I’ll go into sleep with that thing now.” And it has a 30-minute time limit. If I had to turn it off, I probably wouldn’t like it. But I found out a one mattress, the way they put it on when I first started, it’s sad but I actually found it feels softer than the other side so I finally had my grandson just turn it around for me. And it’s a whole lot better. I already talked to one of my friends about this bed because I felt like she could use one.

    I purchased an Easy Rest bed because of my health. And the bed that I had before was just the box and a mattress, box spring mattress. And the springs were coming out because I had the bed for about 8 years. But the bed was given to me. I didn’t buy it new. And when I try to get out of bed, the springs would jab my leg. So, that’s why. The springs are making my bed fall apart and my mattress. So, when those guys came to deliver my EasyRest, they took the old bed out, which I’m glad they did because I haven’t got a soul that I know that could help me with anything. So, I really appreciated that they took the old bed out and gave me the new bed.

    It was very nice of them. Everything was perfect. Good delivery men. They didn’t make any mistakes. I gave them the right directions and they were here and there was no trouble. Because we had rules and regulations in my building. You can’t do this and you can’t do that. But they did everything so quickly and so quiet. They were just fabulous delivery men.

    What I like about the Easy Rest is the value of the massage. When I press reset, when I press the button down, it’s supposed to go about half an hour. It puts me to sleep. Because I have not just gouty arthritis, I have that sleeping sickness, insomnia. And I couldn’t sleep very good. But this bed here puts me to sleep. I’m just comfortable and then I can position myself, that is another thing. I sleep on my back which I couldn’t do for over 18 years. Because I have back problem, too. So, that’s what arthritis does to you but the gouty arthritis is another pain that’s on top of the pain. So like I said, this bed helps me quite a bit. I love my bed because of that. It helps me very, very much.

    I made my arrangements which I’m glad. It turned out good because there was no other way that I could pay. I couldn’t get the money from the bank because of bad credit, not that I have bad credit. Because they say you have bad credit when you don’t have credit. Now, the reason why I never had credit was because everything was paid cash. So far, so good. They’ve already taken a couple of payments. And I’m glad that it straightened out. And I hope it stays that way. I don’t want any trouble. So I enjoy my bed and that’s it. It’s going to take four years to pay it but I don’t buy any clothes. I just buy what I need. I have to because I want to. Because that is worth it.

    I’ve owned my old bed all my life. I bought an Easy Rest bed so I could get a better night’s sleep. I like the adjustable feature of the bed. They asked us how much we weighed and all that physical information. Of course, I weigh 50 lbs more than my wife. But there must be some reason to ask that. But when they delivered the beds, they didn’t ask which is which, they just set them both up side by side and left. My wife was saying, “Which is mine and which is yours?” We don’t know. The set uppers didn’t ask me that, it’s kind of rude. And they even took the old bed, they just put it out on our patio and I had to move up myself to get it off the patio. They didn’t set it up in the driveway like they should have or anything like that. So, I didn’t like the set-up guys, but everybody else was fine.

    The Easy Rest salesman showed me the card and everything like that and I have a bad back. And I have a heart valve replacement. First of all, I always liked the beds like that because I can make them very comfortable for myself. I had my old bed for about a year and a half. It was the real expensive one. Probably my favorite feature of the Easy Rest bed is the push button and that you can go up so you can be not lying flat and the vibration.

    I had the sales rep’s number and he was supposed to get back. I’ve been calling his number, he never calls me back. And I didn’t get the heating pad that was supposed to come with it. The bed is fine, except for some problems - the mattresses move. It moves away from the wall. And it moves from the base. But it’s no big deal.

    I bought The Easy Rest bed for health reasons. I occasionally have swelling in my ankles. So I need to prop up my feet and elevate my legs and feet. And then I have acid reflux gastritis, the belching and burping, that’s the heartburn. And I don’t see where it helps me with that problem at all. I was hoping it would.

    The feature I like the most is elevating my head. I like elevating my feet. I’m watching television this winter in my bedroom.     The main reason we bought an Easy Rest bed was because my husband wasn’t getting any good rest with the old bed. Now, my husband’s in love with his bed! He had the other bed for one year. That’s all. It wasn’t doing it for him. I don’t know what his favorite feature of the bed is but every morning he says, “I sleep so good in this bed.” He just loves it. But then, when that nice young man came that day, and he started talking about the Easy Rest bed, and my husband said, “Well, you ought to get one for Pam,” who is my daughter. And so, we inquired about it, and the young man told us about it. That’s why we went ahead and bought it. So, we bought a twin size because she didn’t need that great, big bed, she said. We enjoyed having that young man. He is not expecting the government to give it to him and he was professional. I tell you something. I really have a lot of respect for somebody like that.     That last mattress I had was probably 5 or 6 years but it had a 10-year warranty but it didn’t last 10 years. I had never heard of Easy Rest before until a friend of mine had mentioned something to me about a friend of theirs that sold beds. And they thought at first that it was Craftmatic. When I called Jeff up, that’s when he said no, he said Easy Rest. And that’s when I told him I’ve never heard of them before, so he gave me an email address. I went online and got checking on it. That’s when I called him and ordered the bed. The sales rep came into the house did a presentation and everything. Bought the little DVD and I put it in, watched it and everything. He answered all my questions.

    I sometimes think buying the Easy Rest bed was the most foolish thing I’ve ever done, to spend $5,000 for a bed when I had a perfectly, practically brand new mattress on my bed. And I also have a bed, a twin bed that massages. So, I have a couple and I thought, that was a very foolish thing to do but I did it. I can’t say that the salesman was really high pressure, but I believe that he was out to sell a bed. And I guess, one of the reasons he told me the injuries he’d have from a car accident. And how the mattress he had to use it every morning. And right now, I’m battling a really bad type of arthritis, osteoarthritis and was under the care of three different doctors. So I’ve tried it on my back, and I barely feel anything. It’s not at all like the twin bed that I have that has a massager. There’s not that much movement in it. So, what’s wrong? I have found it very disappointing. And the fact that I don’t feel the massage like I thought that I would.

    I had a bed before, it was old. I decided it was too small, so I decided to get a larger bed. I guess I had that for about 15 years. Well, I had a medical problem so I bought the Easy Rest bed for that. I haven’t had it that long yet so I can’t say if it has improved the medical problem. I like the feature where the head part goes up and down. So far, it is fine. But it does have a little problem.     We were looking for a bed. I went to the different mattress stores. I saw some of them that are now are very popular. And then, EasyRest is what happened. They sent me a letter to my husband’s name on the drawings, assist a free bed and then what kind of sizes you like. And then I filled out the form and then I sent it out. We did not win. Anyway, someone called me and they gave me the one free pillow. They send it to you and then someone can come in to show you the adjustable bed.

    So I wanted to know how the EasyRest bed is. Anyway, the guy came down and then he showed us how adjustable the Easy Rest bed is, how it works, something like that. My husband was talking to him and then he was very nice to us, showing me all different positions and different kind of thing like that. And it ended up with my husband wanting to buy so we bought it.

    Sometimes I stand up too much and then I got a little bit of pain and things like that. I lie down on the bed and get a massage. Massage is nice and soft. I like the little bit small work. Then, I like it little easy. And then take a little rest there, something like that. We like it but the only thing is that the edge is coming down. We haven’t used it not too long. Now it’s 6 months, not a year yet. I mean, you will see a lot of money for it. I didn’t even know that my husband will buy that much amount of money. But he said that’s good for us. That’s why we bought it.

    I believe the old bed we have was the regular series. I bought it with a very good foam so that’s 15 years, we don’t have no problem and I stay on our bedroom, and I guess I put the bed for the guest.     It was probably more like 20 years that we owned our old bed before we got the Easy Rest bed. The main reason we bought the Easy Rest bed is that my husband’s feet and legs swell so bad and he thought that if he could prop his bed every night, it would help him. And so he does every night just about. I don’t know what I like the most but I’ll tell you which one I dislike the most about the bed - making it up. Are you supposed to use solid sheet or two twin sheets or what on that bed? I haven’t heard anything from anybody and I thought surely we’ve paid a lot for that thing for somebody not to call us to see if we liked it or not.

    The sales rep was fine. He was very friendly. The people that brought it out were nice. They put up the mattresses and springs and everything. I didn't know where they were supposed to put the bed up and all. But I’d say the bed is fine. It takes a while to get used to it but as far as I’m concerned it’s fine except I don’t know what kind of sheets I’m supposed to use.

Most sheets on the market are made to fit those dimensions and our Sales Representative was most likely referring to sheets in stores today as being "regular". Your older sheets probably were made for mattresses that were 8 - 10 inches in depth and those would not stay on your new mattress.     I had the Craftmatic bed years ago and this last year I’ve had a lot of trouble with varicose veins and things like that. I felt like I needed another bed so I can put my legs up when I wanted to. Also I watch television in bed so I wanted a bed that I could raise up without fluffing up some pillows when I want to lie down and watch TV.

    We got the king size and it kept pulling apart so much I finally fixed it before I would use it together, like put a king size sheet and free everything on it. We moved away from where we lived and when we moved, I decided to make into twin beds. So we had twin beds for a while and then we decided to get a new bedroom as my daughter’s son was coming back from service in Iraq and he needed the bed and he was getting custody of his son, and they need a twin bed so we wounded up giving them the bed and got us a new Easy Rest bed instead. Anyway, we’ve had it for I’d say 5 or 6 years probably.

    The Easy Rest sales rep was courteous and professional. I thought he was a very good salesman. He presented the bed and everything looked good. I really wanted a bed. It was a little bit more expensive than I thought it would be. Anyway, my desire to have one outmatched the bed being too expensive.

    I like my Easy Rest bed pretty well. My wife’s not too crazy about hers just kind of - at an angle you know on one side or other than that it’s okay.     I’m really enjoying the Easy Rest bed. But some time ago, a little racket fell off. It’s still working. I don’t know if it has anything to do with the operation of the bed or not and I would say it’s just a little kind of a plastic thing. I found out one thing the bed has done for me. Sometimes I’d have cramps in my leg when I move my leg up in the morning and I turn on that vibrator and it knocks you right out.

    I bought the bed for my back. I’ve had back trouble for years. On this bed, I can raise the head and the foot and I can sleep on my back. I can never sleep flat on my back and I’ve been sleeping all night without having to get up. Another thing, the worst part of my back doesn’t bother me anymore but my right hip - I’m a side sleeper. When I sleep, I stay too long on my right side. It gets so hurting that I switch over to my left.

    I think I bought the bedroom probably 25 years ago because I’ve replaced the mattress maybe once with box spring to it. But I’ve still got the headboard which matches the other furniture in my room, the dresser. And I had a perfect relationship with the sales rep. She was a great lady. She sold me. She’s a top salesperson. I don’t sell easy. I have to think about it first.

    If you want a restful night sleeping in any position, that’s the bed for you.

    My 84-year old mother sent in a postcard requesting information regarding Easy Rest Adjustable Beds. She was contacted by a sales person and set an appointment for Saturday September 14th. The salesperson Edonne arrived on time and was very warm, personable, and knowledgeable. Around two hours into the presentation, she finally got to the pricing ($5,500 for a full size bed). My mother asked me to be there with her as she wanted to be sure she was making good decisions and wasn't being taken advantage of. I had to leave at that point and advised my mother that it was a lot of money and that she should think about it prior to making any decisions especially when there wasn't any kind of trial period or return policy. I was not against my mother spending money or that fact that she needed an adjustable bed but wanted to ensure she was getting the best value for her money and not to rush into making a decision.

    Edonne stated that my mother had to sign the contract that day or she would not be able to guarantee the offer price. She insisted that my mother sign the contract even though I heavily objected and provide a $100.00 deposit which she did stating that she could cancel in writing within 5 business days as written in the contract. My mother signed the contract. I later researched the company online and found on East Rest's website a statement that read the following: "Best of all, Easy Rest offers a one-year price guarantee with every consultation. This means that even if you're not quite ready to make a purchase, you can rest assured that the adjustable mattress price(s) you were quoted will not change for the next 12 months." This completely contradicts what Edonne was pitching. Additionally, Edonne stated that she didn't have the time to come out for a second visit. At those prices, any great salesperson knows that it can take multiple visits and time to cultivate a relationship to make a sale. If she really cared about the customer rather than her commission, she would do whatever it takes to please the customer.

    This is a predatory sales tactic that targets vulnerable senior citizens and/or those suffering chronic illnesses and should never be tolerated by Easy Rest or any other company. Edonne should be severely reprimanded if not terminated for her deceptive actions. Based on Edonne's tactics, my mother has cancelled her contract in writing per the written instructions and will not be purchasing a bed from Easy Rest. Had Edonne been forthright and honest upfront, the sale may have eventually been made. Based on our experience with Easy Rest, my advise is to stay far away from their sales people and highly inflated priced beds!

    I was getting ready to buy a new mattress and box spring to replace my 10-year old bed, and I thought Easy Rest would be the thing but that was a mistake. Well for one thing, I hate that bed. It makes noise when the massage is on and I'm sorry the day that I let that lady come into my home and gave me all these how everybody loves that bed and stuff. I hate the day that I let her in the house because I would've never purchased it otherwise. Although she was courteous and professional, the lady sold me on it and the way she was telling me that it was better than the other one. I was going to get another bed but I hadn't planned to get one like that and then after she came and showed me all of the good stuff and whatever, I just decided to get it.     We had to buy another bed for my husband and replace the old one that we had for 20 years. I was looking for it for him and was going to have to get him a bed because he could be bedridden or something and I'd be the one that have to do it for him.     Easy Rest made a promise to me and failed to keep it and I’m a little pissed and peeved. I purchased this bed for comfort to replace my old bed that I had for five years. I feel that it was just as comfortable as the other bed. I mean I’m not saying that because I’m upset with the manufacturer. I'm just saying it because I don’t have the same type of comfort that I had with the other bed. In other words, this is a twin bed and the other one was a standard size double bed. It’s just a different world. You have weight on your back which I don't like to do all the time when I'm sleeping so that what gets me. It just doesn’t provide the comfort that the other one did. Strangely enough when you pay that much money, you think you bought something unusual. It’s not unusual. It’s just different.

    The sales rep wasn’t professional. He bounced around and talk, talk, talk until I don't know - I won’t give the name of the guy but I know who he is, who was supposedly the manager of the company and then he conferred with him. They supposedly made me a special deal just to buy this and I think that was a come along. Now that I look back on it, I wasn’t really ready to buy a new bed but somehow I ended up doing it and I’m not really happy about it. But I went with it - it was my decision so I'm the one who went with it.

    The delivery team was nice. There were two gentlemen and his wife and he was having trouble getting the trailer unlocked to get the bed out because he forgot the key. That went on for about a half hour and I was getting pissed because they were parked in the zone that was just for loading and unloading. There he was sitting trying to truck open. He couldn’t get it opened. Finally, a gentleman that does repairs and things here at the apartment complex sorted it out.

    The whole experience wasn’t good. When you do something like this, it’s an experience and you’re making the decision, them doing what they’re supposed to do. At the end, the whole thing is an experience but I didn’t like the experience. I’m not going to say anything nice about anybody, good words for them or whatever. I mean I’m not going blabbing I can’t stand these people because the decision to buy was mine. That’s my fault but the experience after I bought is not my fault. The most important thing is when all is said and done, I’m not happy with the Easy Rest bed. I am not sleeping as well as I did before. I mean it takes just a long time before I can sleep at all. I must be just somebody different. That’s what makes it - that’s impossible because it’s just a wonderful bed. It may be manufactured well but I’m not sure that that’s the whole thing when you buy a bed. It has to be comfortable to you.

    I had a bed here before Easy Rest. I had the Tempur-Pedic. That was so wonderful that your body leans into and folds to your body and this and that. But it’s a product we’re not satisfied with. We got rid of the other one and got the EasyRest bed. We spoke with the sales rep. He’s very professional, very nice and all. He did talk to sell it but he didn’t make any reference to how much the financing was. He said that we will have a trial period. We can turn the bed in if we didn’t want it and there was no such thing.

    When I first got the bed, it was on wheels and every night I had - the bed is very light. I had to roll the bed back to where it was in the beginning. The mattress is not of good quality. You sit on the edge of the bed and it has the tendency of turning down and you could slip off the edge of the bed. I already did when I raised my knee. So as far as I can see it’s not a very good product at all. I don’t care for it either. They came in and they put a mattress - a piece of foam on which somewhat improved the bed and they took the wheels off and they put on rubber casters. It did improve the bed but I’m still not satisfied with it.

    The vibration is all right but it’s no great shakes. It vibrates. It’s massaging you. It’s comfortable. It makes me feel a little better of course but that doesn’t overshadow the rest of the bed that’s crap. It has a very fine frame on it. I say, who’s going to like that? That’s what I feel anyway. They didn’t give us a trial period with the bed - I don’t think we had the bed two weeks before or a week and a half, we wanted to talk to somebody to take it back and they did not want to pick them. They’re not going to take the bed back. Not only that, they didn’t give us big words on the thing with the financing. The bed went from $5000 to $7000. They get $2000 for financing? My wife and I are very unsatisfied with our Easy Rest experience.

    I have a back problem so I was recommended to buy an adjustable bed. So I looked around and I saw Easy Rest advertised.     We like the Easy Rest bed. We like the fact that the head and the feet go up. I have a bad back. I had it operated 5 years ago and it’s more comfortable if my head is up and my feet are up a little bit. I sleep pretty good with it and my wife just wanted increased comfort. She has gastric reflux, so having the head up just a little really helps her too. We’ve had a good experience with the sales representative and they were very professional and detailed.

    We had the premium grade mattress. It’s next to the best one with foam insert and because of the topper that they have on it, it’s really hard to feel the comfort to foam. What she ended up doing is she went out and got another pad and put it on top of the other. She felt like it was more comfortable. It wasn’t quite as comfortable as we thought it would be. We bought toppers for them so now it’s fine. We don’t use the vibrator. I guess if we ever needed it, it would be good. She has a heating pad and it’s still summer so doesn’t really need that but she’ll use it this winter. But overall, we’re pleased with the Easy Rest bed. It helps us rest a lot better.

    I was just going to have the demo. They asked to come over and they give you a free pillow. Nothing really fantastic from the looks of it, but I think the salesman was very good. I think his name was Donald **. Anyway, he’s from Missouri. I think New Hampshire as well and he put on a good demonstration. The video I wasn’t too crazy about. I watched it. They show you the video at first but then he went into other demonstration to show how it worked and all that. He seems to be a very convincing guy so I had no thought of buying it really. It just sounded like a good idea at my age. I had my previous bed for about less than a year. I got a good deal up here with one of the furniture stores and it was a good mattress.

    The delivery team was very good. Without a doubt, they weren't even here 15 minutes and it's all fixed. They know what to do. I think it was a husband and a lady. I think they’re from Massachusetts. I was going to put it in a room one way and they suggested another way. It’s been fine the way they put it up. If I want I could prop it up a bit and I could watch TV. I got a TV set in the bedroom. Everything is pretty set up right. I got an Easy Chair here also on the other side. Basically, that one I use a lot too.

    I think the cat likes the vibrator. I like it too. It’s nice to do that. Like just before I go to sleep or something I like to turn it on. It’s a comfortable feeling to put it that way. Sometimes I press the wrong button I say, “Uh-uh it’s not working” but the fact was if I had to raise the head rest thing and it goes all the way down then you got to pause a second then it’s going to be able to go up. I’m learning the mechanics of it.

    I would say I'm satisfied. I’d say it’s near perfect from my standpoint. I think it’s a good investment. I put up a lot down and all I did I get a $90 a month out of my checking account so I don’t really miss that much so I recommend it. If somebody buys it, fine. If they have megabucks then they’re going to pay for but I think you can just pay for it in an easier fashion and you can pay it off anyway. I’ll be soon 79 so I don’t have any need. I really don’t have any problems. I can go off as far as everybody has money problems especially today I think with what's going around, I'd tell them there are ways to ease it up that wouldn't take a big bite at you. I want a quarter and then pay off the rest. Then maybe sometimes I just pay it off or something.

    I had my bed before Easy Rest around 7-8 years. The Easy Rest people were okay but this bed is a problem. I think it's okay but I think it's a bit too much. Considering that you can get nowadays some of these beds, even mechanical, for a lot less. I think a $6000 mattress should be two set. One thing is it's a very, very expensive mattress. For that I can get probably ten. I don't want any brand names but I guess you pay for the mechanical part. However the mattress itself is not that great. I don't think it's worth that much money. It's fixed to the side where I lay on. We changed it already. They told me to put the mattress around on the other side. We did and it doesn't change. It's still when I lay on it. I go to the side where I lay on.

    The best thing is if you have a medical problem, it can help with posture. I have to lay my feet up because I have blood clot in my leg so that is good. I also have stomach problems, reflux acid and you can put the bed up and that's good. But that's about it.

    I had my previous bed for about 4 or 5 years. I heard a few things about Easy Rest and we decided to try it. They demonstrated it up and down. They asked me how I feel. I got medical problems and I said it’s one of those things. Then they set it all up. Everything was all good. I can raise it up and lie. I have back problems and I slept with my recliner a lot, and to raise and position your body a little different rather than laying flat. I like my Easy Chair.     I owned my previous bed about 4 years before I went to the Easy Rest. I have trouble breathing sometimes and I have swelling, and I just thought that if I went to an adjustable bed I would be more comfortable. The sales rep was very nice and very professional. Delivery was fine too. Everything was beautiful. I couldn’t want for anything better.

    I bought an Easy Rest because I can breathe better if I put my head up. If I put the foot up then everything comes loose so you can’t win. I kind of changed my mind since I bought it and I’m kind of sorry I spent the money for it. I’m not completely satisfied with the bed because it all crinkles off when I put the head of the bed up a little bit when I’m sleeping and it’s not comfortable because it got all these ridges in it. I must not have the soft top on it. It doesn’t have pillow top mattress or any kind of mattress really. The top layer is hard when you’re lying on it. It’s not as comfortable as they promised it would be. You can order different parts I guess - different things that snap on there some way. Like it's the soft or the firm mattress thing on top. I said I wanted the firm but I had no idea it was going to be like that. I have a mattress pad and the heat on but it still feels hard to me.

    I gave it to my grandson. It was a queen size bed and I have a smaller bedroom now. I’m in an apartment so I want to get rid of the queen size bed but at least it was more comfortable to sleep on. Before Easy Rest I’ve had the mattresses up on at least probably close to 10 years.

    The salesman from Easy Rest was a nice gentleman, and I had no problem with the deliverymen. They were very professional. They came and took the old mattress and put it in the garage for me, and then they brought and installed the new mattress and attached it to the headboard and showed me how to work it using the controls.

    I had an aching back, you might say. And I have bad knees. And when I lay flat, my phlegm comes up in my chest. So I wanted something that elevated my head and that dispels it okay. With the Easy Rest bed I can elevate the head and I can adjust it a little bit in case that I just don’t have it right. The only problem I had with it is that fitting my rear end fits in like a hole in the bed. It sinks in. I have to really push myself up so I get near the head with the little new pillow they gave me, which is working pretty good.

    The other thing that is hard is they don’t make sheet sets for it. In other words, you have to buy your own sheet set and they’re not made for this type of bed. What they should have is like a pocket on each end so that you’d just slip it over the top and slip it over the bottom and the pocket would hold them in place. Maybe they do have it, but I haven’t found any. I have sheet sets from my old bed, but as I say, it fits over the mattress, but if they had the top pocket, like underneath, so that when you slip it over, this pocket would hold it in place as it goes up and down. But when you have a normal sheet set and you start the thing up, it sort of pulls the sheets because there’s nothing holding it underneath.

    I would rate it “satisfactory”. As I say, it has good features, but with the sheet set, it’s a problem. Also, they said they were supposed to send some heating element shortly. The salesman, he told me that “After you get the bed, in a little while, you’ll get a pillow,” and I did. And then he said a little while after that I’ll get sort of a heating blanket or something. That, I didn’t get yet. I think it’s an improvement over what I had.

    Well, I had had two accidents on my job and it left me in a lot of pain and misery, and I always wanted to get something that was going to help me to sleep. I found out that my insurance would pay for a bed that would be acceptable to the doctor for medical reasons.

    The sales rep from Easy Rest was very courteous, very professional and very nice. They said “Well, will your doctor sign the papers stating that you need this?” and I said yes. I said, “Okay. I’ll submit it,” because at the bottom of my Medicaid paper, it said that the insurance company would take care of medical things that I need if my doctor okayed it. My doctor okayed it but the insurance said they’re not taking care of it. They didn’t tell me that this type of bed is not good for injuries because they don’t do anything to help you. These beds are not acceptable but they didn’t tell me that. So I was left with this Easy Rest bed.

    When I talked to Easy Rest, they asked me how did I feel and all of that, and I said fine. They said, “Well, I just want you to know your mattress is being made,” and I’m going “Uh-oh”. They had just left me a couple of days and they’re automatically going to make a bed for me. When the delivery team arrived, I was in my electric chair because I needed to be on oxygen 24/7. My husband brought them upstairs and took care of everything. When I did get the bed, they called me to ask me how I felt and I said, “I got to get used to it, or I’m not used to it because it’s not working for me.” And I said, “If I’m not used to it now, how long is it going to take for me to get used to it?” They said, “Oh well, you probably give it some time.” The person never said “Your insurance is not going to pick this up.” She never said Medicare would not pay for this type of bed. So I said, “Okay.”

    I tried the Easy Rest bed and there’s nothing that I like about the bed because I tried everything that the book said and I’m still miserable. Certainly I can’t sleep because of my back and my legs…but it’s been miserable ever since because it feels like I got somebody else’s mattress, and yet, the mattress is so thin I can feel the bottom and it creaks when I sit down. It’s not what I expected.

    I have three lung diseases and I need this up on one end and up on the other, and just a little bit of slump. So you know your feet should be up, and you got to tilt your head a little bit in order for you to breathe. My legs swell a lot so I need my feet up. I can put my feet and head up and make it vibrate, but I can’t put it in a position where I am comfortable. It’s got to be just right, but I can never get it so. Also, looking at the bed, you could tell where I sit at. I think I weigh about 170, so it’s not supposed to do that. I’m just a bit overweight so you should not be able to see anything on this bed because I don’t sit on the bed all the time. This looks like one of those very cheap mattresses! I don’t know what’s wrong with this mattress, but I’m thinking that it was used before and they put a new top on it.

    They were very nice. They just weren’t honest. They are people. I’m still not getting good sleep. I sit up in a chair and I nod out. That’s as close as I come to a good sleep because I’m constantly turning, I get cramps in my legs. And my back is just kind of whack. The bad part about this is it could be me. They could have told me that this bed is not going to be paid for by my insurance or by Medicare because they don’t do that.

    I have a problem with sleep apnea and acid reflux, so I wanted a bed that I could raise the head up. I got a voucher in the mail for $0.06 just to win a free Easy Rest bed. I sent it back in and someone from Easy Rest called me and wanted to come out and talk to me about it. So they came out. They were professional and they presented the material adequately. The sales rep was nice as she could be, professional and courteous. She laid it out and, of course, I was really in the mood to get a bed like that. They encouraged me to make a sizeable investment. It’s a pretty expensive bed. The next thing I know, I’m paying them over $5,000 for the bed.

    The delivery guys were very professional and very nice. They came and set the bed up in just a short period of time. They had the thing working and showed me how to operate the controls. They were fine.

    The main thing about the bed is that I can elevate my head to where I don’t have problems with acid reflux and it normally helps my health and keeps me from having a problem with my sinuses. I can raise it all the way up and sit up almost upright on the bed, and it helps me to breathe. But I’ve got one problem with the bed and that’s one reason I wanted to talk to them. The side that I use to rest on, it seems to be quite a bit lower than the center part of the bed and I don’t know why that’s happening. Also, they said they were bringing me back an insert in a few days for my top mattress. The delivery guy told me that he didn’t have that particular insert with him on the truck that day, but that he was returning to install it at a later time. I last spoke with them a day or two after they installed my bed but they haven’t brought it yet, so it had been quite a while.

    I have diabetes and I need to keep my legs up. I had thought about an easy chair and stuff like that, but I said I might as well invest in a bed. So when Easy Rest called, I was interested. The salesman was very good with his job so I bought one. In fact, I spoke to the boss and I told him he was very good, a very good salesman, polite, and we got along very well. The deliverymen were also very good. They came the night before because they were already in the area and they didn’t take too long to set up the bed and they put my old bed downstairs. They were very nice.

    As for the bed, it’s different from my old bed. The legs go up and the head goes up and it’s comfortable. When I go to bed, I put the bottom up a little higher.     I don’t care for the Easy Rest bed too much. I have neuropathy and I thought I could adjust different positions where I would improve my bed rest, but it don’t. That’s what I got. And I wondered why. I never have heard it from anybody. And I think it’s probably overpriced. It don’t do what I thought it might do, and if I could do something with it, I would. So I don’t like it that much.

    The sales rep was pretty good, but he fibbed a bit. But we worked it out, I guess. We were discussing in the beginning the purchasing and delivery and there was a question on delivery, but I went ahead and took some stuff out of my bedroom and left my bedroom suite there. And I got it in addition to my bedroom suite. But I’m sleeping on it. The delivery’s not the best I’ve ever seen. He tried to become bossy. That’s the problem. But other than that, he was okay. I got him back in line.

    I tried the bed’s special features but I don’t like them. I’d rather have just a good old comfortable flat bed that’s wide. I got the twin, the 40 inch one, and I fell off it once the first night. It’s a little better than the mattress that I have, but I wouldn’t say it’s a lot better.

    Even though I didn’t get too bad a deal on it, but I’m sleeping on it every night and I’m still trying to figure out if it’s better than my regular bed. But I think I’d rather give a couple of thousand dollars for a good mattress than to have this kind of bed. I don’t think it helps me out. Overall, it’s not as good as I first thought. It could be close, I guess. It just don’t do the job that I expected it to do. And if anybody asked me about it, I’d almost tell them it just don’t do the thing. I don’t think it really sleeps all that good either. It’ll sleep as good as a good mattress.

    And to me, it just don’t seem like a thing that’s manufactured by a company that has been in the business supposedly as long as they have. For the money you toss, it should be a whole lot better. That’s the way I feel.

    I already had a bed which was an old one that my daughter had purchased when she was down in New Mexico and I couldn’t find parts for it; the wheels had been broken on it and I couldn’t move it. It was a double bed. It wasn’t working completely either. The massage parts have broken a number of years ago and I said that was from New Mexico so I couldn’t get the parts up here. Then I had gotten a couple of things in the mail from Easy Rest and it sounded good so I called and asked for somebody to come and talk to me about it. They did and I decided to buy one. The delivery team was very helpful. In fact, they even helped me with my air conditioner, which was very nice of them.

    My Easy Rest is certainly more comfortable because it’s higher, which is a good thing for me. And I like the massage on it too. It’s good to be able to use that again. That’s a little different so it makes me feel better. I am an old lady. I am 81 and I have problems. I have a lot of different little things. I’m also diabetic. I needed something different. I really like the Easy Rest bed an awful lot and I have recommended it to a couple of my friends. I got a single bed and now there’s more room in my room. It’s terrific!

    Someone came up to my home and gave me a description and overview of the product. Everything, including the delivery team, was wonderful. It was a nice thing that happened to me, and I’m loving it! I actually wanted the Easy Rest bed for my husband but he didn’t want it. I offered it to him. I said, “You need it more than I do.” We would have needed it because he has back problems and everything.     I purchased an Easy Rest bed because the other bed we had was older so we needed an upgrade. I first got the other bed 20 years ago. It’s the same here as this one - I’m very satisfied because it does everything that we wanted it to do. It’s hard to compare them because they both do almost the same thing.

    I have a bad back for 20-25 years. It was easier if it’s lower to get in and out. Once you have the feet and the head up, you push one button, and everything goes right back down to normal at the breast level. That’s the best feature I think. You press one button and then shoot. Everything goes right back down to level.

    I ordered the Easy Rest bed over the phone. The gentleman came over and put the demonstration on. Even though I think he was new to work, he put out a good demonstration. He was very polite, very courteous and answered all my questions. They were excellent. They came in and they took the other one down. They took the other one right in and cleaned up afterwards. It was excellent.

    I’m satisfied with everything. I don’t know if the people have bought it or not, but I’ve recommended Easy Rest to a couple of people and of course, some of them don’t have the money to do it and stuff like that, but it was a good purchase. It wasn’t just good but it sure was a great purchase. Right from the initial contact to the people who delivered the bed, they were all exceptional. Any questions I had, they answered and did everything the way I think it should be done.

    I like my Easy Rest Bed. The main reason why I purchased it is the adjustability factor. I sleep on it every night. It’s very nice and I like it also because I have a TV in my bedroom that's pointing a little bit off on the side towards the head, and I lift the feet to watch TV sometimes. It’s quite nice. When I lift the feet like that I’m not low looking down off the bed, I’m high. I’m raised. I like that. It’s so convenient.

    My old bed was bland. It was a nice bed and such but it wasn’t adjustable. It was a good bed. It had a lot of firmness to it. I was wondering if I can somehow get a lot firmer mattress for my Easy Rest bed. It’s kind of soft. I’ve noticed over time. I believe I was told when they were setting this all up, they put a certain pad into this one and they said it was variable and they have 5 different levels of pads and they put a metal one into this. I would like to get it a little firmer if I could. I will talk to Customer Service about that.

    Easy Rest was very easy to deal with. We set up a day that they could come out and I gave them the entire day. They told me they’d notify when they were close in the area and they did. They came early in the day and right on time; they had said they would. I was pretty much set up. I hadn’t taken the bed down yet because I slept on it - the existing bed; I had to remove it. While they were unloading it from the truck and bringing it in, I took my old bed and moved it into one of the other bedrooms. The space was then available and they went right to work.     I lied down and I tried it and it was great. Lift straight up, either arm lift straight up and very nice with a remote that’s like a television remote; it doesn’t have a cord. It just sits on the end of the table and then I point it at the end when I want to put it up or down. Very nice. I like it much better than a regular bed.

    You see, the thing about me is when you’re hurting and someone tells you that it’s going to help you, you don’t think - I wasn’t thinking. I just jumped right into it because it sounded good. About the money that I had to pay, I thought that was pretty expensive for a bed, but I don’t know. I just went ahead and purchased the Easy Rest bed anyway because I thought it would help me, but it’s not really helping me.

    I was used to my old bed and it was comfortable. Another thing I liked about the old bed I had is if I sit on that bed it'll fluff back up. But this one doesn't fluff back up; it doesn't come back up. It just sinks and stays as is. This feature you say is a massage doesn’t feel like it’s a massage; it feels like it’s just shaking. Also, the bed doesn’t heat up. So I turn around and I try to put my hot pad on to help me out. This bed was supposed to have been helping my pain and everything, and it’s not. I have arthritis so bad in my back that I can hardly straighten up. It’s very bad - that’s one reason I purchased the Easy Rest bed because I thought this bed would help me. All it does is the foot comes up and the head comes up.

    It was nice how they set the bed up and everything like that. They advised me to get a headboard if I want to get a headboard. It’s a bed that I have to pay $4,000 for and it’s just not what I thought it was going to be. I wouldn’t recommend it to anybody else. To somebody - when you put in those things underneath that, they would tell you this is what the bed is going to be like and then once you purchase the bed, it’s nothing like the items that they used to sell this bed. She had me lying on the bed with things underneath it that's supposed to have been part of the bed. But the bed doesn't look anything like it's supposed to.

    I haven’t tried calling Customer Service. And tell them what? They're not going to take the bed back out; all they care about is the money. I guess the only way they can do that is that they would have to give me another type of bed for more money.

    The king size we had before, we had it for about 15 years. We needed a new spring and mattress, so that’s why we got an Easy Rest bed. I have acid reflux. But we’re supposed to get a pillow which we haven’t got. And how the heck am I supposed to get these slim size sheets on this bed? I didn’t realize that this bed was going to be put together. Our other bed, we could like swing them apart. This one you can’t. It’s got a metal thing going all the way down. Putting these two beds together, we can’t move them. We’ve pretty much crawled around trying to figure out how to get these sheets on. I’ve been worried already trying to figure out how this mattress’ sheets on. We’ve been putting them flat and using our other king sized sheets. That’s the only way we can get anything on.

    Anyway, we kind of like the massage thing or whatever you want to call it. The only problem there is it starts at your head and stops at your waist. I would want it from the shoulders down to your butt so to speak. It doesn’t go past your waist. But it has helped with the acid reflux.

I like it when I can just go in and take a nap in the afternoon and raise my head and my feet up a little bit and it feels good. I sleep better.     The bed before this Easy Rest was given to me. It was a gift to me when my wife got sick and we had to have a hospital bed for her. I had a twin bed set in where I could keep an eye on her at all times. It had an old, cotton type mattress on it. Anyway, I guess I felt I needed one and got the Easy Rest. I have bad knees but other than that, I decided that I needed something that was better than the bed I have.

    Well I really like my Easy Rest bed! I get up in the morning and I don't have aching muscles. I have a lot of back problems so I feel a lot better.     I had a problem with my back for a long time and I saw this ad, just like a little card like thing. I don’t remember if it was in the paper or it was in a magazine or what. They were advertising it. You could apply and win free or something like that. So I did that. I think it was like probably at least 10 years of owning my previous bed before I bought this Easy Rest.

    The man had to stay in here, put in our beds and sort it out, and take the pressure off from spots on our bed. I really like to adjust it so that I can lie down on my back. I’ve been adjusting it for my back and I have acid reflux too so I adjust it for that and I don’t lie on it long. It only takes a little while for it to help. I was washing and doing a few things and so then I come in and grab my ice pack and get in here and lie down. It helps with my back and giving it comfort. It has made a difference as far as sleeping at night. I get to sleep faster.

    When the Easy Rest salesman came out the first time, he had this little bag. He put one at the foot and one at the head and he turned on the massage. That was great. I have a back problem. That’s mostly what I needed this Easy Rest for. Then swelling on my feet and legs. I can always raise the foot up so with that, the swelling will go down. Then I put the massage on and I’m good. It’s more comfortable but it’s a bit firmer. When I lie down, I don’t want to get up until like say the next day morning. I shouldn’t have had it. Thank God for my little nephew!     We had just moved back from having a fire so we only owned the previous bed for a few months. Before we moved back, I bought a bed with a memory foam mattress on it. It was very expensive and I didn't like it at all. If I could take it back, I would have. Then we had to bring the bed here because my stepdaughter's kids do Hawaiian punch on it back where we were staying at the condominium, and that was nice and firm but it still wasn't quite what I needed. I couldn't find a bed that worked, and then I got this Easy Rest and it worked.

    When I got the bed, the massaging thing was there and I asked the guy about the heat. He said I will get that later. Now it's been over two months and I haven't gotten it, whatever it is. Otherwise I've been very pleased with the bed. The first night I used it, I got up and I didn't have any back problem. That was one night. After a whole month, it was fine. Then I got bronchitis and all the coughing and stuff, brought on the back problems, but they're gone again. I used to take Tylenol two or three times a day for back pain and for the whole month I didn't take one tablet. I couldn't believe it. I can get out of bed and my back doesn't hurt. Sometimes I get up and I have to kind of unfold or uncrease myself. It wasn't like that at all. For about 3 weeks, during the bronchitis and until I got situated after the bronchitis, I had some pain and it's been gone another week or so now. And I use the massage. I was thinking more about the heat because with winter coming on that would help a lot with my arthritis in the back.

    I have recommended Easy Rest. I told a few people about it. It's a lot of money but when you're my age and you've got aches and pains, it's worth it.

    I have had my old bed for about 10 years. We started to have back problems and I figured the Easy Rest bed would help. Their people were courteous and respectful.     My contact with Easy Rest was really good. They were really on time. They called me and let me know when they were coming and everything went good. The salesman was really fine. He brought me a pack of cookies. He was nice. And then the guy that delivered it, he was really nice too. He helped me move my old bed and set up the bed and attach - I have a home-made headboard and he had to really work with that to get it attached, but he did fine. He showed me how to use the bed.

    Before I purchased my Easy Rest bed, I had my previous bed for about 15 years. What I had to do is just my own personal thing. I had to go with cotton and natural product bedding because I have a little problem with static electricity. Then in July, I fell down and I broke my rotator cuff on the right side. So it really helped to have the bed elevated a little bit with that because then otherwise it hurts all the time. So it really has helped me in that way, with this rotator cuff because it would take a whole year for this thing to heal. With the bed and with my positioning and everything - I just have to work with it but it’s working out. Since my injuries, the Easy Rest bed has helped me.

    The only thing that was not quite up to my expectations is when I transferred that pillow. That pillow stinks. I can't always sleep with that smell. So I put it in the washer and I washed it with Clorox and that still didn’t take it off. So it’s laying out here on the porch.

    The Easy Rest representatives set the bed up and everything and explained to us what to do and how to do it and all that. He did the mattress thing cover but we haven’t put it on yet. But she said we’ll put that on a little later.

    We had a Craftmatic bed before the Easy Rest bed, but the bottom was wearing out. We had to change about three mattresses and I wanted to buy one that was for that but it cost a thousand dollars and I said, “To heck with that.” I just went and bought a 200 dollar one to put on there but still after a while, it started scooting out of the bed. So we had to prop up the mattress with blankets to make it go inward instead of pushing us out. That’s the only problem but we still use it.

    The Easy Rest bed isn't better than the other one actually. The only difference is it isn't scooting us out of bed. I like the Easy Rest bed very well. It’s good and it lays straight. I don't want to fall out of bed and it vibrates good. My favorite feature is the vibrator, a little stronger and basically same as the other one, up and down.

    When we first got in contact with Easy Rest, they were very nice. When they came out, they put it all together for us. They showed us how to use the bed. I have a Sleep Number bed. I have it in a spare bedroom and that’s about 7 years old. And the one I’m sleeping on prior to the Easy Rest bed was my fiancée’s. We’re now married so we had a king size and she had it for me. It’s been 15 years then.

    We bought the bed for comfort. I have a few medical problems. I think it’s helpful. I like to raise the legs - blood circulation in my legs. So I think it’s helping also when I’m resting my arms. Then when you have your leg on it and then it goes down. And the bed has helped me sleep on my back. That’s keeping me from getting a restful sleep for a long time so frankly it’s coming to where I can sleep through the night. My favorite feature is that I can raise up my head and raise up my legs. And I use the vibrator. It’s quite handy for me and it’s really nice. I love being able to do all that. So I’m grateful for having it! However, it’s a little pricey. I never expected it to be that much money but I can afford it now. It’s my retirement. I can spend a few thousands, $5,175 exactly. It's been well worth it.

    We have a little problem with the memory, setting that up. It comes and goes but we’re trying to figure it out. It’s a little complicated. We have the cable remote, and we had no problems keeping track of it. It’s not binded either. We kind of just put it there. We think we put the wire on the cable. I know that Easy Rest has a wireless one but we were recommended the wired one because the wireless tends to get lost. Another problem I have is keeping the sheets tight. Ours is twin and extra long and it's not deep enough probably to go underneath the mattress. It keeps loosening up on us.

    My wife’s not too satisfied with the tags and she wanted to put that piece around to hide that and that’s not working out for her. It would be nice to be accustomed to the changes for the comfort. But the tags, they slip out there. Maybe they could be put on the bottom or directly on top so the mattress covers it up. So that it’s not visible. I must say I’ve known for women, they want it more dressy.

    I just had a regular bed before I purchased my Easy Rest bed. On email or something, it had a free pillow and I decided I will go get the free pillow. Then they came out with a demonstration at our house. I felt like I needed a new bed anyway so I went ahead and bought one. The representative's presentation went pretty good. I just got the cheap one. I didn't get the $4000 one. On the day of delivery, everything was perfect. I like the up and down feature.     My Easy Rest bed is in a spare bedroom. Habits are hard to break especially when you’re elderly but anyway, it’s a nice bed. It was my son’s bedroom. I’ve got a king-sized bed in my room. It was fine and dandy. I was happy with it but I have been in the other bed. It’s okay. It’s kind of irritating to think you’re going to go to sleep with vibration. I thought they said it was going to have some heat with it because I don’t think I saw any place on there to turning the heat.

    Next month, at the end of October, I will be 82 years old. I sleep pretty good. I have a nice routine. I get ready for bed at about 10 o’clock and then at about 10:30 I’m asleep. I got arthritis a little bit and this and that but I’m managing. I know what I can do. Some days I do it and some days I don’t do it. The Easy Rest bed helps with my arthritis. In winter time of course I have an electric blanket and that helps too. Elevating was okay and the vibration is okay. The bed was very nice but I’m not sure it’s worth $6,000 though. But anyway I didn’t pay that much for it. I got great grandchildren and my youngest son that I bought that bed for.

    Before I purchased my Easy Rest bed, I probably had the previous bed since about 1990. When I had my initial contact with Easy Rest, they were very nice. The Easy Rest sales representative seemed to be knowledgeable. It was a bad night when they brought it because it had been pouring down rain and they had a great big truck and they couldn’t get it up my drive way because of the trees and stuff. So they had to unload it down on my pick-up truck and bring it up that way. They didn’t stay too long because it was storming and bad that night. They had a lot to do that night and they left me one of those pads that I can put in if I need to.

    The mattresses with their foam pad - I don’t know if it goes on top. I think he unzipped it and put it in the middle. I want to know if they have someone that can come and do that for me, if it’s not going to cost an arm and a leg. If they had more time and it hadn’t been such a bad night, I would let them go ahead and do that while they were here. They didn’t do that so I don’t think I should have to pay a lot to get it done.

    The Easy Rest bed helps because my head always clogged up so bad and by elevating it a little bit, that helps that way. But I’m 88 years old so I can’t expect to feel like teenager but elevating it a little bit does help. I am happy with it. I’ve already recommended it to people.

    Oh, I love Easy Rest! I had no problems with their salesman and delivery people.     I saw an ad somewhere and mailed it in. My sister-in-law had been trying to get me to get a Tempur-Pedic for years and I knew it wasn’t American made and Easy Rest was. So I think that was the deciding factor. And then the salesman came down the house, I didn’t have to go to the store and try to pick one out for me. It went okay. I thought I was getting a $500 gift and it turns out that was to go on the warranty. I might have that confused. But anyway, the bed’s paid for and I’m sleeping in it.

    I still hurt when I get up in the morning which I was hoping it would eliminate. I’m 80 years old and I guess it’s arthritis. I have to work through it every morning and then I get going. I think I’m resting a little bit better because I was not resting all that much. I haven’t used the massage all that much. I raise the head quite often. The legs I’ve only done two or three times. But I’ll probably use that more because my legs do have a tendency to swell. I would say it’s expensive but I’m looking forward to using it into my old age.

    I think I got something through mail saying that I could have a free pillow. I think that’s what started it. I have had a broken back and an arm pulled out of my shoulder and now I’ve got a hip that’s got to have surgery. This Easy Rest bed is wonderful. I am enjoying it very much.     We ordered a twin king size "sleep system" from this company. It was delivered within two days. We tried it for about a week and on the last day of the "grace" period we decided to cancel the contract so we submitted a cancellation letter and returned the contract to Easy Rest. We dropped the letter into a local USPS drop after the post office had closed for the day. After about a week I began to call Easy Rest to find the status of the cancellation letter. After about twenty calls I talked to **, a supervisor, and she told me the letter was postmarked one day after the deadline. In summary the Easy Rest customer service is no service at all to the people who are not satisfied with their product!

    Their people were great. They took out my old one and they put in my new one and just zip, zip, zip, and off they went. I can now watch TV better. I sure can. I don’t have to put my glasses on the end of my nose. As for my favorite feature, it all depends how I feel. I have arthritis real bad so sometimes when I want it, I use the massage. But mostly, I like it because I can raise and lower it and get better light. And so it’s just easier to read. I read a lot. This bed does what it’s supposed to do.

    I’m not real pleased. Easy Rest gives you five days to make a decision. Well, they don’t say that it’s not from the time it gets delivered. It’s from that date that you signed the deal. Well, I didn’t have no time because I called the day after I got it to tell them it wasn’t working and they said, “Well your five days are up.” Well, they didn’t deliver it. There is no way to decide whether or not you want it. It’s just done. And the bed doesn’t work for me. I told them that. It was a shoddy way to do business.

    I saw Easy Rest in the paper and it had a form to fill out if you were interested. And the bed was so good, I signed my name and mailed it. My family was quite surprised that I did that because I have never really bought anything. I just lost my husband about a year ago and I was depressed and the bed made me feel so good that I just went ahead and I bought it.

    The sales representative was very good. He had me lay down on the bed and then he turned the vibrator on. And after he shut it off, I felt so good. That’s what sold it.     I answered an ad to possibly win an Easy Rest bed. And of course, then they called me. The sales representative was very nice. Everything went very well. Everybody was nice and they delivered when they said they did. And they put it up and all that sort of thing and I am extremely pleased.

    I’m stretched out on it right now. I’m enjoying the heck out of it. The bed is helping me get a better night’s sleep, and I appreciated the pillow that I was sent for free. And I used it for a while. But it just doesn’t work as well as my dog bone pillows. So I don’t use it all the time. My favorite feature of the bed is the fact that I can raise my head and feet but the massage is good for me for putting me to sleep in the first place.     The bed has helped me so far with getting a better night’s sleep. The vibrator is my favorite feature of the bed. But when I spoke with their reps, I was told to give them a check, that they wouldn’t cash it until after the first of the month but they went ahead and tried to cash it. And I tried to call Easy Rest about it and I never did get an answer. I’m still trying to do something about it. After the first of the month when they did get it through, it cost me $140 and that really hurt me. I’d say don’t take them on their word that they’ll hold the check.

    I don’t like my Easy Rest bed. For me, it’s no good. I ended up with bigger backaches than I had beforehand. I tried all different positions. That didn’t help. I have a bad back and I have hiatal hernia and I have the swelling of the feet, edema. And I don’t sleep on it anymore. I’ve been sleeping on a reclining chair because when I wake up in the morning, I have more backaches than I did when I went to bed, from the bed. Although the Easy Rest sales rep and delivery team were all good, I’d say that this bed is not for me. It’s not the bed, it’s me, unless they figure out a solution which is the best way for me to sleep on it.

    I don’t really have any illness or injury but I got myself an Easy Rest bed. And so far, my experience has been okay. They sent me something in the mail awhile back and the sales rep was pretty good. He knew what he was talking about. The delivery came and showed me how to use the bed. I’m adjusting it up at the feet and adjusting it up at the head and changing it around every once in a while just to see what it can do. I really hadn’t turned the massage on when I’m going to bed.     I first heard about Easy Rest through mail. It came and I said, “Okay, maybe I could win a bed.” Instead, I won a pillow. They sent a representative over and the experience with them and the delivery team was fine. They showed me how to work the bed.

    As far as sleeping better, it’s not. I’m sleeping just like I was sleeping in my regular bed; it’s not different to me. Although, I like that I can raise my head and my feet - I do raise it sometimes. But other than that, I like to sleep flat. I tried the massage and to me, you can’t feel it. With a massage, you want to be massaged. I can’t feel that, it doesn’t move me or whatever it’s supposed to be doing for me. If I knew what I know now, I wouldn’t have bought it.

The guy came out here and he was demonstrating how it would be. He was as sweet as he could be. I really liked him and enjoyed him very much. I bought it that night.

    I’ve had five knee surgeries. I have a pacemaker, a stimulator for my stomach, and I have problems with my back. After he explained everything, I knew that would be the best way to go.     A man came by here to sell it to me. It was a fine experience. The people who delivered the bed were courteous and showed me how to use the bed. It was good.     Something came through the mail that you send back. Somebody may contact you in the future. That’s how I found out Easy Rest. Their sales rep and delivery people were wonderful. I like all of the bed’s feature, except I haven’t tried the heating part yet. I tried the massager and the raising the head. So far, I’m not disappointed at all.     I don’t remember how I first heard about Easy Rest. I think it was with magazine and stuff coming through. I sent something in sometimes. I guess one of the salesmen or something from the field office called. It went fine and the experience was very good. They were knowledgeable and explained things. As for the delivery, they were good. I wouldn’t deliver that day they brought this thing here because it was raining like cats and dogs. They delivered anyway. I said, “Well, I hope this is your last one.” And they were leaving here going to Richmond, Virginia. I said, “Well, have fun.”

    I don’t really like the Easy Rest bed very much. At first, I couldn’t move it because I didn’t know it was going to be as wide as it is. I needed it maybe a half a foot skinnier than what it actually is. But he said it’s sort of like a hospital bed - this is thicker than a hospital bed. And I’m supposed to be able to get Medicare to help pay for it but so far, I haven’t heard from them.

    The delivery was very nice. They took the old couch out and put the bed in. And that’s why we have measured it before according to the couch and so forth. Then it turns out to be another foot wider than the couch was. So that was a disappointment. But it’s a firm mattress which is nice.

    When you sit down on the bed where it folds, it collapses down. I’m afraid over a period of time, that’s going to be a weak point that needs to be redone. It’s not nice and flat like it’s supposed to be. It kind of sags. After about three feet, it sags but then it goes back up again. And it’s a little bit taller. They put it as low as it would go. If it were another 4 inches lower, it would make it come right to the floor because it got just little legs on it. And I had to put one of those skid things so that I could move it out so I could do the sheets and so forth. Because otherwise, it’s too heavy.

    I tried calling them one time and they might as well have said, “It’s too bad,” because that’s all the satisfaction I got. So I just hung up and let it go. So I won’t pay money every month one way or the other.

    Basically, the Easy Rest bed is being used for my son because he has a lot of back issues. I bought it for him. He’s using it quite frequently with the vibration and all those things. And he likes the elevation. And I thought the delivery people were all very nice. They came in and they took down the old bed. Because I wasn’t able to get under the bed and vacuum it, I had my vacuum upstairs, one of the workers just went ahead and vacuumed the rug. He vacuumed the rug before they brought the new bed up, and got that all set up, and they explained to me how it worked. And I think they were very efficient. They did a very good job. I would probably recommend it. They came right on time when they said they were going to. It’s really very good!!

    This Easy Rest mattress, to me, is not good. It’s too hard or something. That’s what I wanted, a bed that I could raise up and down. But the mattress, to me, is not as good as it should be. I was thinking that I was going to get a softer one and this seems like it’s a harder one. I was thinking about calling them. I keep saying maybe it just takes me a while to get accustomed to the bed. But the bed is not getting better, the mattress part of it. It’s got a lump in it. On the other hand, the delivery team was fine. All of that was good. I would recommend it to a friend but I still think I would tell them to check out the mattress more.

    The Easy Rest salesman was fantastic. Yes, he sold up that bed and he was really nice. The delivery people were nice too. I mean you couldn’t have asked for no better but as far as the bed, I expected more but maybe I haven’t put the heat on yet because it’s summer and maybe it will be all right. I don’t know. Right now it’s just if I had my money back and you had your bed back, I would be happy. I’ve got a broken back so I expected more out of it. I don’t want to go through that experience again.

    I’ve been pretty busy so I haven’t had a chance to call Easy Rest. They need to come make some kind of adjustments on this bed. When you raise the foot of the bed up, it feels like when you’re lying there, you got to lay all the ways up the side to keep from dumping out on the floor because the right hand side wants to dip down. It’s not level. And the frame makes a popping noise when it’s moving. It’s been like that since the first night we used it, and we’ve had it for a month or more.

    Well, I don’t know that I would recommend anybody to spend that much money for it because when it comes right down to it, there’s really not that much difference other than the fact that I can raise the foot up where I would use some wedges to keep my feet raised. That part of it I like. To be honest with you, I’m really not crazy about the bed.

    I used to have a Craftmatic from about 1980s. And it still works good. And I understand that Easy Rest bought Craftmatic out. I have quite a few problems and I figured that the bed would help me a lot. And the Easy Rest bed is helping me. I can raise it up, head and foot. I don’t have to put pillows under my feet and whatnot under my legs to prop them up or use the wedge. And I can raise the upper part up because I’ve had surgery on my neck a couple of times. And I just love the massage. And I missed that very much. Now, I have it again. And I think that it’s helping me a lot. I’m not having as many muscle cramps in my legs since I started sleeping in this bed and lifting my legs at night. The sales rep and delivery team were very nice about everything. They did everything just perfect. If you can afford one, get one! It’s worth it.

    My sleep is barely improved. The only thing I like with this Easy Rest bed is that it levels up my feet whenever I feel like wanting to. And with sleep, I don’t sleep as good as I used to. It’s all the same. I want to find out how do you get a sheet? I have to put sheets on it. It’s a disaster in the morning. All the sheets, when I get up, it comes off the mattress. I can’t get it to stay there.

    Since you haven't purchased a new bed in many years you may not realize just how thick mattresses on the market are today. The average depth of a mattress on the market today is 12 to 15 inches. Most sheets on the market are made to fit those dimensions and our Sales Representative was most likely referring to sheets in stores today as being "regular". Your older sheets probably were made for mattresses that were 8 - 10 inches in depth and those would not stay on your new mattress. You can find sheets to fit your bed at any store that sells bedding. We will be calling you to explain this.

    There was a little postcard that came in the mail and that’s how I found out about Easy Rest. I didn’t even look at any other beds. This Easy Rest guy called me up and he was just very persuasive and I just thought, “What the heck?” I mean, it seems like a good bed and so I just bought it from him. The guy that installed the bed was really, really nice. He answered all of my questions and he gave me little tips. I really liked him.

    I have to say that I have rheumatoid and osteoarthritis. So really, nothing helps. It’s not the bed. I like the bed. It’s comfortable. Well, the massage was kind of disappointing in that it’s so loud. So I don’t use it that often. But I do like being able to raise the head. I use that for watching television and I’m a student. So I do a lot of reading and writing like that. I think that I should have probably looked at other beds but I talked to other people and they say that I probably did well.
