My Easy Rest bed is okay. I still wake up in the morning and I have pains in my back, but I sleep pretty good. I've had it for 2 or 3 months. The quality seems okay. The installers showed me how to use it. My interaction with the sales department was fine. Mostly I just put the head up a little bit. But I don't think I would really recommend it to anybody. I mean it hasn't done that much for me. I sleep better than I did, but when I wake up in the morning, I still have discomfort in my back. The Easy Rest bed is okay. But it isn't as fantastic as I thought it would be.

We are glad that you are sleeping better in your new bed. If there is anything we can do to help you with our product please call our Customer Service Department at 1-800-523-5383.

I've had my Easy Rest bed for about 4 months. I'm happy with the quality of the bed so far. My favorite feature is where the head and feet would be elevated. When they installed the bed, they demonstrated how to use it. The delivery process was quick and easy. I guess the only thing I was a little confused on (I guess they didn't explain it to me good) is I was under the impression that I was getting a whole bed, but it was just the mattress. But I didn't have any problems with the installation. The person that came out to show the bed was very helpful. It went good. And they're just real nice and everything.
It looks like it's a pretty good bed. The massage, that one can kinda relax you. Just the different adjustments, there are screeches on it. It's been a pretty good, pleasant experience. I don't like the screeches on it. The only thing that is a letdown like I said is I was under the impression that it's gonna be the whole bed instead of just the mattress.

We are glad that you are enjoying your new bed. Thank you for sharing your experience with our product. There appears to be some confusion about what you received. In your review you indicate that you thought you were purchasing the "whole bed" but only received a mattress. However, in your review you also talk about the massage and the adjustability. According to our records and your description in this review you can rest assured that you have received the full product. We attempted to reach you today to discuss this but had to leave a message on your phone. Please call us back at 1-800-523-5383 and we will schedule a service call to deal with the noise your bed is making.

I bought mine 2-3 months ago. So far I'm happy with the quality. I had a hernia and acid reflux. It helps me sleep through the night. I don't have to take acid reflux medication anymore. And I like the heat feature a lot. The installers demonstrated how to use it. The delivery was pretty quick. They even made my bed, in which I was surprised. I told them if they could make my bed again. I was kinda kidding. I didn't realize they went ahead and made it. I was surprised. And the salesperson was very patient and very nice, and he took his time in going through the whole presentation. He was a very nice person. He wasn't pushy at all. He went the extra mile to get my business. He even asked his manager to get me a good deal on the bed because he saw my need and interest for it. So he went the extra mile. He was here the whole evening at home. He was very thorough in his presentation. He's a very professional person.
Easy Rest is worth the investment. Buy it as soon as possible - the sooner the better - to help you sleep, because the effect is almost immediate. I would say they are very fantastic.

We're satisfied with our Easy Rest bed. They're very nice and everything went well. We've had it for about three months. We've had Craftmatics before. We knew a bit of how they work. And my husband had had a back injury several years ago. So we were just getting some beds that were comfortable and that works well for us. We've been happy with the quality of Easy Rest. Our favorite feature is the ability to sit up in the bed or up your feet up. The sit part is really nice. The representative handled the job very well. The demonstration was made that day. They covered their bases. And the interaction with the sales team was good. The only thing my husband didn't like about it, they were gonna try to rush the delivery date. They wanted to move it up and we weren't ready for that. That's the only thing that put us off. Other than that, everything went well. We were impressed.

I wish I had never seen it. They've called me day and night ever since I got it. They call me eight times a day. They'd call up until about 9:30 at night. They start at about 8:15 in the morning. Every 3 hours they'd call. And they never would answer the phone. I got so disgusted with them. I wish I'd never seen that bed. I bought a bed from them. But I wish that I had never got hold of mine. That's been the most aggravating thing. They just kept calling and calling. Well, let's say that's just the phone, it just rings. That's ringing and nobody answers it. I was thinking to get a hold of the attorney general's office to instruct them to get it stopped. I've never heard a thing. No problem in the last few days. I believe they quit. But I bought the bed.
I talked to different people. One guy said, 'I assure you won't be getting no more calls.' The next time I pick it up and the guy will never even answer me. I think it's just a machine - there's no caller. But there ain't no way to do. I bought that thing and paid for it. Well, there's no risk. I couldn't figure what that was. So finally I called back that number.
I paid the bed in full. I'm gonna keep the bed, but I'm not going to recommend it to my friends. That's what I thought I can do when I got it. But so far, I can't. I just turn my vibrator on. That stays on for thirty minutes. I do that every night and it helps me to rest. That's about the best part about it - the vibration. If you want to sleep, it will ease you. Sometimes, I do it twice before I go to sleep. You may go sleep - problem solved. But it's a good bed. Easy Rest is the best bed I've ever seen. The installers were real nice.
The salesperson would just tell me something. Whenever I had to ask him something out, he'd tell me something else. We just got it wrong real good. I thought I might get a change to that, but I got so disgusted that I don't want anybody to ever go through what I went through. I was satisfied with it before I started getting in calls. I was gonna see the attorney general about this, to have them take it back. I didn't. That guy told me he would stop it. He did.

We are happy to hear that the bed is helping you get rest and sleep. Like you, many of our customers love the massage feature and use it to lull themselves to sleep nightly. We are sorry that you have been getting so many unwanted phone calls. We have operators at the end of every call so we will be investigating why there was no one on the end of the line when we did reach out to you. We will also make sure that your phone number is removed from our phone calling database. However, please note that if you enter our sweepstakes again that will put your phone number back in the system to be called again.

It's been a fairly good bed. I mean I got a lot of neck and back problems. So that's kinda hard sometimes to enjoy a good night's sleep. But I like the bed. I think it's going on 3 months now. I had a hospital bed before. This one is a little bit better than that. It fits my room better too because the other one, it was too long. I'm pretty happy with Easy Rest. It's nice to be able to get your feet up and your head because I sleep with a bunch of pillows anyway. And nothing beats a massage. I used to be a massage therapist. When I went to school, I got two massages every other week. After I graduated, it was like I felt deprived. Like I said I have a lot of neck and back problems. So it does help.
The installation has been real quick. I mean they just got it in there and no trouble. Of course, I had my other bed early out. The man that was here, he was real helpful and he called his boss and talked to him about payments and stuff because I was on social security. At the time, I was on social security disability. Now, I'm just on plain social security, sadly. He was really helpful in me getting the bed. It was a very good experience all the way. The people were very helpful. The bed is good. The installation was great. I had no troubles.

We are glad you are enjoying your new bed, especially the massage feature! If you ever need assistance with it for any reason please call our Customer Service center at 1-800-523-5383.

We're enjoying our Easy Rest bed very much. We've had it for a month. We were due to get something different for our bedding. I think it was Matt who came across the Easy Rest bed. Well, I have rheumatoid arthritis, but that's a good reason to be more comfortable while I sleep. And she is disabled. So she appreciates the ability to change her position in her bed. Mine, I have found it... I'm into to twin size. Then I stopped getting into it. I think maybe it's the weight of my behind - makes the bed mattress move a bit. So when I make the bed in the morning, I have to go around the other side and give it a gentle push. I'm happy with the overall quality so far. The reason why I have it in is because it's most comfortable. My head is in a certain position and I have my lower part up a little bit to my legs.
The installer kind of rattled off on information he had. They came with a pair of sheets for my bed. He explained that all twin sheets are not long enough. And oddly enough, the ones I'm using are fine. I sleep on pile of sheets. Some of the other ones don't quite fit. So of course, my great grandchildren inherited them. The installers are helpful. And it's easy to fix the position right where you want. I haven't put mine on the wave or massage. But when I'm ready to go to bed, I'm ready to go to bed. The delivery was a little slow. I got the impression they had to get the twin bed from a different place/area. The guy had said something about being here a week later. And it was a few days past the week. It wasn't that far off.
The bed should last a while, shouldn't it? You get your money for it, so come sit. You have to see it to believe it I think. Very good experience.

We are glad that you are enjoying your new bed. If you ever need any assistance we are here to help. Please call our Customer Service Center at 1-800-523-5383.

It was all right. I'm not as happy with it as I thought I would be. I purchased this Easy Rest bed 2 months ago. I have a bad back. I haven't noticed any improvement. The installers showed me how to use it properly. I'm happy with the quality of the bed. I'm not over happy with it. Once I put the vibrator on, I don't like it because it shakes my head. I don't like the vibration in my head. I like it that I can put my head up because I've got bronchitis and I've had to sleep sitting up. But it's too much money. The ordering process is fairly easy and they were helpful. I guess it's okay.

I don't like it. I have a vibrator that doesn't work. When I press the button, say to lift up the bottom of the bed, it goes too far up and I can't stop it. I've had it for about a month and a half (at the most). I have problems with my neck. It has not helped at all. Even the vibrator doesn't work anymore. Let me put it this way. Wherever it's connected underneath the bed, I can't get to it because I'm handicapped. I just had it the last week. The Easy Rest rep showed me how to use the bed. The other day, I told them the bed doesn't work. The ordering process wasn't easy. I had to haggle a little. I had better rest in a hospital.

If they come out here and fix up the mechanism (why it sits up) like it should, I would say it's a five. I'm having a little trouble with the mechanism. I would let them come in to fix it, the piece. The automatic thing that sets the bed up is not working now. But it's my fault to not call them sooner. I haven't contacted them yet.
I've had my East Rest bed for about three months or four months. My problem was I couldn't sleep. I was trying everything. It's a good mattress and I enjoy the mechanism (why it sits up), but it didn't help my sleep. Right now the quality is all right. As far as the salesman and the demonstration went and everything, it was excellent. The installers were very thorough and very neat. They were very accommodating. They've put my mattress well and taken the case and the boxes after that outside. The ordering process was easy, within 4 or 5 days. Very good.

I have a sleep apnea. Being able to adjust the bed has been very good for me. The vibration and stuff like that sort of soothes me. So I guess it has helped with that situation quite a bit. I'm happy with the quality. I'm getting the best sleep possible. The vibration and the head raising are my favorite adjustable features. I can adjust it and all that. And the ordering process was very easy. The gentleman came to my home. We had him discuss the bed. And he showed me what the bed would do and all that. It's a very good discussion, I thought. The installers were very courteous. They did come on a Saturday evening. And it worked pretty well. If you have the money, go for an Easy Rest bed. I enjoyed my experience.

I love it. My husband and I both have health issues and especially my husband's circulation, bad back. We both have bad back. So the massage and stuff on it is wonderful. I seem to be sleeping better and I don't wake up with the back pains that I usually have. Unfortunately, when I got my heating pads, I got one that doesn't work and I got to figure out what to do with it. So I've got one of those that doesn't work. But he uses his every night, so he loves it. My husband needs it more than I do.
We'll, I've got to return it to where it was. The only problem is I didn't open it up until December and I think I got it in September, so I'm not really sure if Easy Rest is going to give me a hard time about it. But I didn't need it in December. And then when my husband was having some health issues and I was washing sheets two or three times a day, I didn't want to put it on the bed. So I waited until he was better and that's when I found out it didn't work. But they don't have a phone number. So I didn't know who I needed to contact to get some information on it.
But as far as the bed goes, it's been working fine. We both enjoy it. My husband gave me a hard time about it at first because of the expense. It is a little bit more than we normally spend on anything like that. He had time to groan on and he doesn't argue with me about it anymore. He's kind of enjoyed it. All the expense had him a little upset at first. But I think, overall, with the benefits and stuff that he's getting out of it, I think he appreciates it a lot more. We got it August or September or maybe even before that. It might have been in August, but it was in December time when we ordered it. We've had it for a while.
I haven't had any problems with the Easy Rest bed and everything works fine. I enjoy it because it makes it easier for watching television. I like to relax in the evening with the little handheld electronic game, and it's perfect for that. And the guy that came out was here on schedule as they originally should. And everything was very clear and he explained everything. The guy tore the old one apart and everything was very nice, very helpful. If money was no option, I'd say go for it because I sure enjoy mine.

It helps a lot. I like the feature that raises my head up. I have problems with my legs too (hurting and swelling). And when the bed was delivered, they showed me how to use it. The installers were polite and courteous. Overall, I'm happy with the quality of the bed. I enjoy mine very much.

I'm doing about as good as I can be with it. I like it okay. I've got osteoporosis and I'm still uncomfortable when I go to bed. But it has helped me to a certain extent now. I don't want to say it has done a whole lot for me, but it certainly has helped I believe. It's been kind of medium for me because I don't expect to have miracles performed by my bed because of my condition. But I guess it's done as well as I expected it would do. And that seems to satisfy me okay. I mean I'm perfectly well satisfied with it. I've had the Easy Rest bed for about two months. I'm happy with the quality of the bed. If my friends thought it would be beneficial to them, I would certainly say I would recommend it.
I didn't have a whole lot of trouble because I think I got it the day after I ordered it. So the delivery was very good as far as being fast. I don't even ever remember having to call the company itself. I know the guy that sold it to me told me,'I know they carry an address of Bristow, PA.'And I said, 'Well, I never heard of Bristow, PA.' Oh, what do they do there? They don't really do a part of the actual sales there, because I know when I talked to the guys who brought it up here (and there were two men that delivered the bed on the very next day like I say)... But when I talked to them where they were from, they both said that the stuff is shipped out of Bristow. No, I don't think it was Bristow. I don't even remember the name of it anymore. But it wasn't in PA. I'll put it that way. It was a state other than PA.
I had a very nice guy who sold me the bed. There was one white and one black guy that delivered the bed to me. And again that was on the very next day, so I can't say too much about the problems on it because there really weren't any. But they weren't here long. And they gave me a brief explanation of how everything worked and then they were gone. And that was pretty much it. Nobody from the company has been in touch with me. I honestly thought maybe they would be but they weren't. That's however they see fit I guess. I think had a couple of questions for them, but I didn't need to ask them very much after they gave me some documentation, some papers that had some of the things on about it. And then they told me about it and they explained the paperwork that they gave me. So I basically had no problems with that.
This is the first adjustable bed I owned. The only problem I've run into (and I don't know if you know about this or not), I have not been able to find any extra-long sheets or mattress bags or mattress covers or mattress pads (extra-long), because I'd been told that they're only sold back in the fall when kids go back to college. I did get an extra-long bed because I thought I needed it and it does help me. I mean I'm glad I got it as far as that goes. I'm using a mattress. My fitted sheet and my mattress cover are both really two short for the bed. So I'm waiting for fall, and hopefully when the kids go back to college or go to college again from being off in summer, I'm hopeful that the stores will have them. I think my experience has been good. I've had a good experience with the company.

I got the bed somewhere. And I'm pretty well satisfied with Easy Rest. I've had it for about three months. I'm happy with the quality. I have back trouble. By me being able to raise my head up, by being able to elevate it different times, it gives you some comfort. That's my favorite (to raise my head up sometimes). If I want to watch TV sometimes at night, I have to turn a lot.
The people at Easy Rest taught me how to use it. They were very very nice and helpful. But there's one thing that I got to really say - the bed's not worth what they charge for it. I had a mattress that I had just paid $700 and some dollars for. To tell the truth about it, other than being able to raise my head up, my mattress, it really is not good. I'm just telling the truth. They set it up and showed how to put it up and raise my feet if I wanted to. They asked me if there were no questions. I would say, 'Well, no.' So that was it. The young man that sold me the bed, he's a very good salesman. But I'm not getting the kind of comfort for the money I paid for it.
The price is too high. I was afraid they were from home TV. I was sitting up in my chair and I was having back problems. So the things they said on TV really excited me and I called. And we went through the process and I got the bed. But I wouldn't get another one.

Thank you for your feedback. We wish you would have called us to discuss your comfort issues. Our Customer Service Department has called you and left a message offering you a different insert for your mattress to adjust the feel of the mattress harder or softer based on your personal preference. The bed hasn't helped me with anything. I'm almost 90. They slung a new bed in there for me - I don't know why but they did. I've had the bed for 6 months. A bed doesn't matter that much to me, as long as it's soft and I can fall asleep. One thing I hate about that thing is it's got a vibrator in it that will keep you awake all night. That thing hums worse than an airplane. It's too much money for that bed, $4,000. I was happy with what I had. My daughter bought the bed and she didn't even tell me about it until the day I come home. The bed is comfortable in my reasoning, but I think it's overrated.

It has helped me with my back problems. I've been happy with the quality. My favorite feature is the head raise.
I don't know how they got my name, for one thing. He called me and I said yes and went on out to talk to me about the bed and I ordered it, but it was a little expensive I thought, $3,000, so I thought that was terribly expensive. I enjoyed the Easy Rest bed very much because I had gone through the bed that I was on and then my stepdaughter - we separated, if you understand, and she's got one in her room and I got one in my room. And she stuck over death with them and so am I. It was a high price on it. Again, it's a good bed and I'm older than a lot of people and I have had a bed to sleep in like that and my stepdaughter, she's 62 and she just loves hers.
It has helped me in cold weather out as I'm 82 and I enjoy it. It is really helping me. I would recommend a person sleep in it one night - they wouldn't go back to the old ones. I've had the bed for I guess going on four months now. Sometimes, I folded it. My stepdaughter, she goes to bed and sometimes she doesn't do it, I mean create her bed or just leaves it flat. But she mostly puts her feet up and her head up because she's been having trouble with her legs and feet, and it's really helping her pretty good.
If someone's thinking of getting an Easy Rest, I'll tell them they wouldn't sleep in the old bed they've been sleeping on because I didn't. I've seen them in stores, some of those adjustable beds, but not these. But I tell you the truth, I didn't think it was that good. But I'm glad I got it. It's fine.

Basically, Easy Rest does work. It goes up and down in its fashion that it's supposed to. Are there slight problems with it? Hmm. Because I had a frame that I had already had that I'm not sure. I mean it has its own frame but when they installed, when they came to put the bed in, they had it resting on a frame that I had already had. It's no longer on that frame. So basically, I know I got to call this guy and see what's going on. Maybe even try and put it back on the frame or find out why it doesn't work with this particular frame. Maybe it's not supposed to work with this type of frame. I don't know.
I know how to use it, but the only problem that I really had is that it moves up and down. When the vibrator is on or the vibrator is working, it's very, very noisy because it's kind of like you can hear the frame moving. The frame that I had might not be made for an adjustable bed. It might not work with an adjustable bed. But I mean maybe they should have told me that. But they told me that it wouldn't be a problem, that it would work with that particular frame. And as I said, it does work but you can actually see that it's not on the frame from the old frame that it's moved to a fit. It's probably on the frame that actually comes with the bed and that's probably why it still moves. But maybe it's not supposed to work that way. I already had a head and a footrest and I was hoping that they have to be attached to a frame; otherwise, you can't have them. You can't use them.
I have a bad back and it does make my sleep easier. I've had my bed for less than a year. I guess the quality is okay. At this point, I'm just satisfied because it's partly my fault. I haven't contacted them. I should be contacting them to tell them, 'Hey, listen, why is the bed moving in a fashion? Shouldn't it just move up and down? Why is it moving from side to side? What's making it do that?' So basically, that's my responsibility. And the ordering process wasn't slow. I would probably say it wasn't horrific. When they came to deliver the bed, they treated me okay. They did their job.

The experience with the bed is 100%. The experience with the bank is 0%. I sent them a letter. It was registered. I got receipt that they got it and they haven't replied and until they reply, I'm not going to pay them a penny. But the quality of the bed is good. They showed me how to use it, but they didn't have all the parts.

I would rate it a five had they had fireworks. It's too booming expensive. And I told him when he came in that I just could not afford to buy a $5,000 mattress and bed. I just wanted these soft petals, their soft veil, and I ended up having to pay for the thing. I'd be paying for it for, I don't know, three years. I'm mad at myself. It's not the salesman that I was mad at. I'm not unhappy with it. The installation was quick. The young men that came in to install it were very professional. So that was a five. They showed me how to use the bed after they set it up. And it has helped my back a little bit as it bothers me a lot. I've had the bed for two months. It is fine other than the price is too stinking high. Pleasant.

Well, the only thing I can say is I'm enjoying my Easy Rest bed. I like to use the feet lift where my feet are elevated. It gives me more comfort for my feet to be elevated and my head elevated just a little bit. It has helped me with my arthritis and back, when you lay down and when you first get up, you kind of bend over. But when I adjust my bed correctly, I don't have that. I would recommend it. And the ordering was very good. In fact, I had no problems at all. They were out the next week after I paid for it. Now, I paid cash for mine. And I have no problems at all with the installation or anything. They showed me how to use it. After they put it together, then they took their time and showed it to me and let me demonstrate it too before they left.
Well, usually, when I describe it to my friends, they have already seen one of the pictures. I have no problems at all demonstrating it because I just tell them that it's true what they have seen. The only setback that I had I wish, but this was my problem, our bed, because they did exactly what I told them to do. Before my bed was very high - I think it was 6 inches. Then I had them to put my EasyRest at 4 so that's the only problem with that. But that's really no problem. It's very comfortable.

I like it. I've already recommended Easy Rest to several friends, because we're all at the age where our bodies ache. Even several of them, I showed them the bed and they laid on it. Everybody likes it. And since I've got this bed, when I get up in the morning, my body doesn't hurt; my back doesn't hurt and it's just wonderful. When I do sleep, I do sleep better. It's just really great. I was surprised it was a little lower but I like my bed. I wouldn't give it up. I've had it for about three months. I could see the difference right away. I use the vibrator on the bed for at least a few times a week. And then I just have to go to sleep. It relaxes me. I like my bed up a little bit now. I just like any features of it. I just fiddle with it.
I've been thinking about calling them back because I had one of those bed frames; I had the rollers. And I decided to go and let them put it on whatever they got it on. Well, I can't move it. And so they told me that if I changed my mind and want it put back on that, they could come out and do it. I've been thinking about calling them and asking them to do it but I just hadn't done it yet.
Easy Rest is a great bed and I enjoyed it, and it takes my aches and pains in the morning.

Well, the only thing that I'm unhappy about is my dog thinks she needs to sleep under it and she'd just have an awful time trying. She couldn't fit. It makes me crazy. The bed's fine. I sleep really well. I like it. I would definitely recommend it. I'm 81 years old, so I have a lot of arthritis and couple knee surgeries. You know how it is. When you get older, it starts breaking. The feature that I like is the one for the head. I've had the bed probably about three months. My experience has been very positive except for the dog trying to get out from under the bed (in and out). That has been a pain.

I've been telling a lot of people about Easy Rest. Ordering, it was good. I think it was excellent. Everything went good. I've had my bed for 6-7 months. It's around there. The salesman was amazing. They never called me back. So I got in the library and I had to call them. But when I did call them, it was within a couple of days. I got my bed around August. I had a meningeal when I checked it down in '05 and some back problems, and the bed has helped me with that. I like the sitting position feature (the legs and the backrest up) to sit in front of the TV, and that's about it. They showed me how to use it when they set it up. I'd recommend Easy Rest. It was all right. It's like just buying anything else. I got the bed because I want to be able to sit up without a lot of pillows behind me. It's pretty good. It's not excellent, but it's pretty good.

It's fine. Dan [my husband] is sleeping so much better now. It means he's only getting up maybe once or twice a night [whereas before it was more]. It's good for me because I can adjust my head up because I have gastric reflux and it keeps that down. And I can raise my legs because I have swelling of my ankles, and that does great for me. I have recommended it to friends already. It wasn't too bad. It took a few phone calls because we couldn't afford the first price they gave us. We're on a fixed income. I had just retired a year before. Overall, it was very easy. The Easy Rest bed is a good investment. Of course, being able to raise my head and sit are the best things for me. For my husband, it's the 'sleepability' that [one] can really sleep well on it. He's really enjoyed that. Comfortable.

Everything is working just fine. They did show me how to use it. The ordering process was easy, fast, and concrete. Everything was just quick, bam, bam, bam. Wonderful bed.

I would be lost without a bed now. I have low back and leg problems. So when either of my legs and my back starts acting up, I can get in to bed and elevate my legs as much as I need to or whatever if I want them up. I can lower them. I can raise them. I can get into a comfortable position at any time. I've had it for about three months. I use all the adjustable features. I can't say which one is the most favorite. I don't use the vibrator too often. I don't care for that too often, just once in a while; it works well. Most of the time, I just don't want to use it. It agitates.
The ordering process was easy. The elderly gentleman that came to talk to me about the bed, we had very meaningful conversations about different things before it ended. He showed me the different things with the bed. A couple of days later, the young man came out and set it up. I think the sides of the mattress break down a little easy, especially when you have a heavy person. I have to sit on the edge of the bed to do certain things and to get into bed. And being heavy, where I have to sit in order to get into bed all the time (in and out of the bed), it seems like it sagged a little bit in that area. I think that the rigidity of the sides could be a little bit stiffer.

I have had an acid reflux since I was younger. My doctor recommended that I get a bed so that I could raise my head, and I did. I used that bed until I moved in to this house in April, and it broke about that time. I've had it for about 15 years or so. So then I felt like I needed another one. But the medication I'm taking for the acid reflux is working fine too. I only use the ones that raise my head and my feet. I don't particularly care for the massage and all that stuff.

We just bought an Easy Rest Bed. It works very well for my husband but the first night we had it, the base on my side broke. I called the company and they said they would replace the base but, being just before Christmas, they may not make it until after the holiday but they would try. I was told not to use the bed. It is 2 twins put together to make a king. So my husband could use his side. We didn't let them take our old mattresses, thank goodness. That way I had somewhere to sleep. They came with the base the Friday before Christmas. I felt bad for their drivers because of the snowstorm. I tried it and it worked fine.
That night I was only able to sleep 3 hours and I had to get out of the bed because I got so overheated that I swelled and ached all over. I called and they were closed until the 26th so I called back then. I asked if there was some way to change the mattress or take the foam cord out and use it or replace it with a down grade that wasn't foam. I was told they would have a rep call me. I'm still waiting. We took their mattress off and put one of our old ones on the base and it worked fine. It's a little shorter but I can adjust the bed and was able to sleep all night. The bed is not worth $7,000. We will see if they call. I'll keep bugging them till they get tired of me calling and do something or give me an answer. Next stop is BBB. Enough reports and maybe something will be done. The only upside is it is Made In USA.

We are very sorry to hear about your experience with our company and please know that it is highly unusual. We sell more than 1,000 beds a month and rarely have a problem with the base units. As soon as you called us we did our best to get a new base unit out to you despite the huge snowstorm that affected the Midwest and we were pleased that we were able to get it to you before the holiday. As for being told not to use the bed it would appear that there was some miscommunication on that matter. We apologize that our service personnel did not make it clear that you could have slept on the new mattress. When they told you not to use the bed they were trying to explain that you shouldn’t attempt to adjust the bed and should leave it in the flat position. We will be working with our service personnel to make sure they clearly explain directions given to customers.
With regards to the call you made after the holiday for service it appears that you called our Sales Department instead of our Service Department and they should have made sure that your call and concerns were immediately communicated with our service department. However, due to holiday hours and staffing it would appear that did not happen. We have disciplined the employee who dropped the ball and will be retraining the entire sales department on customer service protocols. We don’t usually have many issues with customers being too hot on our mattresses, especially in the Midwest in the wintertime. We are working with you on finding a solution to your temperature sensitivities. Please know that customer service is our priority and we will work with you to make you happy.

I recently purchased an Easy Rest Premier System Bed and have buyer's remorse! There is a certain level of a buyer's entrapment scheme that goes in variations but basically goes like this. If you sign the paper, you are stuck with it whether you can be satisfied at all or not. There is a time gap between signing the contract and receiving the product. If the product is in this case (beyond) uncomfortable, then you only have little recourse such as changing out and waiting for the mattress insert to alter the feel of the bed. If you read the contract, then it is evident that it's designed to consume consumer's money without any real recourse of a problem on the company's part.
As a customer, you want to give the product a chance as that is fair. But I want them to take it back if there is a problem. For myself and my partner, it was the most uncomfortable bedding I ever slept in. I could barely walk the next day from the back pain it caused. There is no showroom to test the product offered. There is only a salesman, a manager on the phone to help seal the deal, and you, the potential (victim) customer. The salesman was very nice and there was no sign that he would deceive me. But I really needed that bed, he says. What's not needed is the customer service that is the best scripted and I would assume lawyer tested for durability in making the customer realize that there is little recourse for buying their bed and it hurts! Too bad! We'll do what we can to fix it. It's a timetable problem for the customer, in my case.
I should have paid better attention to the contract. We aren't responsible for your signing that piece of paper (like it magically appeared). I was convinced that it would probably be the last bed that I would have to buy in my lifetime (if it was going to cost so much). Instead, I need to get this (what feels like the resulting injury from a torture device) bed out of my house and back where it came from. It is obvious to me that there is some sort of element missing in the lumbar support that might be causing the problem. I did try out the bed again last night and within 15 minutes, my lower back started hurting angrily and I got up and went back to my old bed where the pain started easing rather quickly.
I had to sleep on the (few month old) old bed last night in which I was able to function after waking. The customer support put in a work order to come out and try a slightly softer insert which will take up to over a week to perform. My concern now is that although the ER bed is very hard, now that the harder under surface might be the part that's too hard and putting another softer insert would simply put my back closer to the real harder surface underneath. That might be the real problem. This is a very distressing situation that could have been avoided by avoiding this company in the first place. This nightmare episode is just beginning and I wish there was a way out of making the payments and returning the bed to its creators, so they could donate it to someone who could benefit without the pain and distress that I'm incurring on several levels. This new bed is a curse to me and I can only wish for relief from the whole mess!

I placed a stop payment on my check since it has not yet cleared my bank. They said that my bed should arrive in three days or so. I kept saying no, I'm not putting down any money tonight. The salesman called his supervisor on my phone not once, not twice, but three times, and even insisted that I talk to his supervisor myself. We talked for a while, and he was willing to cut the price down to $4,500 with $100 deposit, and in-home trial inspection but only while the deliverymen were still at the house. What kind of business cuts an expensive, top of the line, all features included, lifetime warranty by more than half just to make a sale? This reeked of desperation all over it. I got very suspicious of a scam and told the supervisor as much, and kept telling the salesman no, no, no until he finally left.

I have been pricing adjustable beds for the last few months with the intention to purchase one in January. I have always told this to everyone who called me. These people will only give you their pricing if you allow someone into your home. I should have said no again when the woman who called asked me if I had good credit. Rodney came into my home; he was very nice at first. He showed me a video about the beds. I told him that I have already done my research and will be purchasing a bed in January. But he said that we would get to that. He asked what size bed I wanted and I told him a full. He replied with, "A queen will fit into any room." He would not accept my answer of a full size bed.
He barged down my hallway saying, "Which one is your bedroom? He then went into my sons' bedrooms looking for more pillows for his demonstration. I felt violated and asked him to leave. He said, "From the bedroom or the house?" Rodney then sat on the couch and insisted on using my phone to call his supervisor, to tell him that I had asked him to leave my house. The supervisor offered me a great deal if I would give them money today. I told him all the same information that I had told the woman on the phone and Rodney - and hung up. Before Rodney finally left, he turned to me and said, "Maybe you didn't hear the price because of the cell phone?" Oh my God! These people are horrible and very unprofessional! I called for the 5th time to have this bed removed because of these issues, just to be threatened over the phone with legal action if I quit paying on it. I was told, " You have a legal obligation to pay us whether you like the bed or not." Well, now I'm getting an attorney and contacting the BBB to make a formal complaint that these ** can't try to threaten or ignore their way out of.

We are sorry that you are unhappy with your purchase but we disagree with the facts you have presented. You accepted delivery of your bed on March 24, 2012 and paid for your purchase through a 3rd party finance company. You contacted us for the first time on July 30, 2012 because you had a problem with the mattress. At that time we offered to set up a service call and provide you with new mattress inserts or a new mattress at no charge if necessary. You declined all offers of service and insisted on a return and full refund. We explained that bedding is not returnable and our beds are not sold on a trial basis and that is clearly spelled out in large type on your contract.
On August 3, 2012 you called us for the second time. We again offered free service and replacement if necessary, which you refused. We attempted to explain that you financed the bed with another company and that you could not just stop paying them without legal repercussions from that company. However, it was very difficult to convey this information because you were speaking so loudly and inappropriately. We are still happy to provide service to you so that we can take care of your issue. I have gotten some of the best sleep on this bed in the past four years. Until about a month ago, when I was raising the bed to go to sleep, the bed popped and tilted to one side. I got up and looked under the bed to see what happened. The roller on one side was up in the mattress. I was very surprised to find out that the bottom support of the bed was made out of particleboard (pressboard). This material is made to go over the top of plywood and under carpeting. It is not very strong when used by itself with no backing. This material is used in the place where the bed has the most pressure and strain. When I called to get it fixed, the lady told me it would be repaired with plywood (at my expense). This tells me that you are aware of the problem. I have been waiting for over two weeks to get this fixed. The truck has broken down two times and one other time was not a good time for me. I waited for five and a half hours on Friday (7-27-12) before I received a call (9:30pm) that the truck had broken down. This was two and a half hours passed my appointment. I am still waiting for another appointment to be broken. Today is 7-31-12. I would recommend that the base be made out of plywood to begin with.

We are very happy to hear that you have been sleeping so well these past four years and you have been very happy with your bed. However, we were very unhappy to hear about your recent experience with our company. When we received your post we were very concerned and began a thorough investigation of your situation and our delivery operations in your area. The truck that operates in your region has broken down twice recently and you were unfortunately scheduled on the route both times. The second time (7-27-12) it broke down in a very remote area that did not have cell phone service. The drivers had to walk a long distance to find a phone and then had to wait 4 hours for roadside assistance. While events happen that are out of our control we can control how we deal with them and you should have been contacted much earlier to notify you of the problem.
Regarding the use of particleboard on the base of the bed – Until recently using particleboard was the industry standard and it was used on almost all adjustable beds on the market. In 2010 our beds went under a redesign when we secured the rights to be the only U.S. Adjustable Bed Company to use Whisper Power Motors on our bed bases. At that time we upgraded our entire line of adjustable beds with plywood.
We spoke with you earlier today and informed you that we would be waiving the cost of labor for your service call and that we would be sending you one of our plush Easy Rest Robes for your trouble. We wish you many more years of quality sleep on your Easy Rest Bed.

"Fine," I said, "but if you are coming here to try to sell a bed, forget it. I am not buying." All this told me it was a scam. Well the sales rep kept saying I was under no obligation to buy. If it was a drawing, why would I have to worry about that? They said it would take an hour. My husband had to be in the vicinity, he did not have to listen. He went to bed. The rep was here for 2 hours. She was very nice, but I did not buy a bed. The drawing had not been done yet. Why push so hard? The rep said her boss was going to want to talk with me on the phone. I said no. Yes, he would ask how she did, turn around and then try to sell me a bed.
A week later he called and asked how she did. Then he tried to sell me on this $8,000 bed. I have never in my life ever heard a rep get so mean and nasty because I did not want to buy a bed. He went as far as to say the bed could take away all our aches, pains, etc. I told him he should not make promises he can't keep. If this was true, doctors would consider the bed a miracle cure. My grandparents had asked information about the beds. A salesman showed up and stayed forever trying to get them to buy a bed. They told them it was too much. He said that he could make it totally affordable and would be worth every penny because it would help my grandpa and all his ailments. Well, she was tired of dealing with him and had a hard time saying no and my grandpa who has Alzheimer’s kept saying yes. My grandma didn't want to, but went ahead and bought the bed. They delivered the bed three weeks ago and they couldn't sleep on it because it took almost two weeks to get the sheets that go on it.
They slept a total of four hours and they couldn't handle it anymore. My grandma is in tears and is so upset that she even purchased it. I called the company today and was transferred from the original number to a North Carolina associate. Her name was Yolanda and she was very rude. She told me I was stuck with it. She said I couldn't return it because I had the bed for too long. They have only had the bed a few weeks! She wouldn't let me speak to a manager. She wouldn't give me the number I was transferred to. She wouldn't give me her last name and then hung up on me. I am going to give my grandparents’ lawyer a call to see if they can do something about it. This company preys on elderly people and takes advantage of them. I refuse to let this company screw over any more people!

Your grandparents made an appointment for a presentation with our company and subsequently purchased a bed. It is not uncommon for people to have trouble adjusting to new beds. It often takes up to thirty days to fully adjust to a new sleeping surface after spending years on a previous mattress. We are very sorry to hear about your grandfather’s medical condition, which was not disclosed to us until this posting. However, please understand that we cannot legally discriminate against interested consumers based on age or disability and often it is difficult for non-medical personnel (such as our sales representative) to pick up on mild or early onset medical issues.
The Sales Representative did not indicate on the contract that sheets should be included with the sale and we will be retraining him on paperwork completion procedures. The bed was delivered on June 9th and no mention was made to our delivery personnel that they were to have been included. Our first call from your grandparents came on June 14th and we sent the sheets out immediately. At that time they did not communicate any other issues with the bed with our service representative. On July 3rd your grandmother called to ask to return the bed. Our service representative explained that it was past the cancellation date and that beds are not returnable. We offered a variety of solutions to help them but they were declined. (Our Customer Service Director was on vacation that day so there was no one to transfer the call to due to the holiday schedule.) On July 6th we contacted them again and offered service and a change of comfort inserts for the mattress and they accepted this solution. We will do everything in our power to make them happy and comfortable in their new bed. We sell more than 1,500 beds per month and customer satisfaction is our number one priority.

My mother-in-law was pressured into buying a bed that she did not want. She did ask for information on the bed to be sent out where she could review the information before even making a decision about whether she would be interested in purchasing this bed. They did not send information about the bed; instead, a salesperson showed up at her house. Once they were in the house, that went on and on about how this bed would help her with her medical conditions. She told the person repeatedly that she wanted to think about this purchase since the cost was so high. The salesperson told her numerous times that she wanted this bed and that she would buy this bed. This went on for several hours. The salesperson stated that she would buy this bed before they would leave and refused to leave before she purchased it.
Basically, the salesperson worn down my mother-in-law into purchasing the bed. She felt like she had to purchase it just to get them out of her house after 9 pm. She does not like the bed and is now stuck with it. My husband tried contacting the company, and the person basically stated, "It is yours now." All we would like is to return the bed and have her money returned. She lives on a fixed income. I feel like the salesperson swindled my mother-in-law just to make a profit. I am very disgusted and cannot understand how anyone can do this to senior citizens.

Your Mother-In-Law responded to an advertisement and received information about our company in the mail. She subsequently made an appointment with our company for a representative to come to her home for a presentation on February 20, 2012 and purchased a bed at that time. The bed was delivered nine days later on February 29, 2012 giving her ample opportunity to cancel the order after she signed the contract but before receiving delivery. We have not had any calls from her since she accepted delivery indicating that she had any problems or issues with her bed.
Four months later, on June 27, 2012 we received a call from your husband wanting to return the bed. We explained that the bed was not sold on a trial basis and tried to find out if your Mother-In-Law was having problems with her bed and offered multiple options for servicing the bed. Unfortunately, he terminated the call suddenly. We called him back and left a message again offering service options.
On June 28, 2012 you called us back and explained that you had just learned that she had purchased the bed and you didn’t think that she should have made the purchase. You told our Customer Service Manager that your Mother-In-Law didn’t have any issues with the product. We again explained that our product is not sold on an in-home trial basis and at the time of the sale it was clearly explained to her that our product is not sold on a trial basis as well as being written in large type on all of our contracts.
We vehemently disagree with your characterization of our company and sales representative. We cannot legally discriminate against anyone simply because of their age and we are sorry that you are unhappy with her purchase.

My elderly father had this experience with a Contour Bed salesman. First of all, the man showed up at 7PM and didn't leave until after 11PM. My dad usually goes to bed early in the evening. In his pitch, the salesman assured my father how the bed would address every ailment that he has - diabetes, low back pain, etc. and that he "deserved" a great bed. My father told him repeatedly that he'd like some time to think about purchasing the bed, but the salesman persisted and my dad was too nice to throw him out. By the end of it, my father, who was exhausted and worn down, signed up to buy an $8,000 bed he'd never seen or even tried out. The next day, he felt sick about it. We looked at the fine print and cancelled the check and overnighted a paper canceling the order. It cost him $50, but it was money well spent. The sales tactics used by this company come very close to elder abuse.

We are sorry about the experience your Father had with our Sales Representative and please know that this is not acceptable to us. I am sending you a private email with my contact information so that you can provide me with the information on the sales representative who came to your Father's home so that we may deal with him appropriately. While it is true that an adjustable bed may provide temporary relief from a variety of medical ailments and complaints we make no guarantees or assurances and our sales representatives are given extensive training in this matter.

My husband and I purchased a bed last year when our old bed started to cause us to wake up with more frequent backaches. After 10 years with the old bed, we decided it was time to start looking. We initially looked at regular beds but one day, when we were in the mall, we stopped at the Sleep Number bed store to look at their beds. We decided we didn't like the air mattress aspect of the company, but we really did like the benefits of the adjustable bed we tested there. We researched a lot of adjustable bed companies and wound up buying an Easy Rest and I can tell you, we really "rest easy" now! The saleswoman who helped us was very friendly and knowledgeable. The delivery people arrived later than we were told and I had to wait at home much longer than I expected. But they were very nice and careful not to nick my newly painted walls.
We did have a small problem with our mattress, but I called the service department and they took care of it quickly. All in all, they are a good company and I would recommend them and the most important thing is that we are sleeping much better and our back pains are gone. I gave them 4 stars because the delivery was late and I did have to use their service after we bought it. My husband thinks it should be 5 stars, but I'm writing the review!

I was getting back surgery and needed a better bed than I had. Robin came out to the home and inspected my old bed and shared with me the Easy Rest Adjustable Bed System. I ordered the bed and it was delivered in two working days! The gentlemen that set up the bed were polite and courteous and they disassembled my old bed and placed it in my garage for storage. The new bed is the best bed I have ever slept on. The mattress is extremely comfortable and having the adjustability has made me recover from back surgery nearly pain-free! I would recommend this company to anyone. The bed is great for lower back patients.

My husband has Parkinson's Disease and last year, we started looking into adjustable beds to replace our old bed. His symptoms had been getting worse and we thought an adjustable bed would be necessary in the coming years. We eventually wound up choosing an Easy Rest bed and have been very happy with our purchase. The funny thing is that we thought we wouldn't use the features very much until he really started to need them medically. But from the first night, we have gotten more use out of it than we thought we would. We wind up watching television and reading in bed much more often than before because it's so comfortable. No more rearranging and propping pillows up. It is also easier for him to get in and out of bed because he can raise the head up to help him get to a sitting position when his muscles aren't cooperating. We recommend this bed!

Not only does the company lie to potential customers, but they also lie to their in-home sales reps. Believe me, I know this from experience. They don't even sell all of the different beds that they claim to produce. Everything is geared toward selling a premier bed. No matter which bed you buy, it's going to be a premier bed on paper. The whole thing is a con from the very beginning. I know the insides of the operation and will probably be attacked by them for making this posting, but it has to be said. If anyone would be interested in more detailed information on how the scam works, contact me through my e-mail at **.

I purchased the bed in August of 2011. The right side of the bed has completely broken down. Also, the center of the mattress is broken. I wake up with serious back aches and scratches in my back. The mattress is too young to have these complaints. The company suggests rotating the mattress every three months. This does not help. I am completely dissatisfied with this bed, considering the amount of money I spent on it.
I purchased my bed in the east coast and the customer service is unprofessional and unhelpful. I had to call the mid-west region in order to get professional assistance. Do not purchase a mattress from this company. They do not stand behind their product. Understand the contract and the five days you have (including the shipping) to return the mattress. Everything the previous customers mentioned are all true.

We're not sure why, but we don't have any record in our system of being contacted by you regarding this problem. It is clear to us that you have called because you have the correct name of a customer service representative at our company. We will be calling you to offer you a free mattress inspection and custom insert replacement. Additionally, we will be checking with our IT department to make sure we don't have a glitch in our system and we will be holding a re-training session with our customer service representatives regarding service policies, warranties and proper computer documentation.
Update: We called to offer the free mattress inspection and discovered the problem. You filed the complaint about your father-in-law's bed even though he did not have any problem with the mattress and has not attempted to call us. He informed us that you had visited him and slept in his bed and were not comfortable. Your Father-in-Law has never rotated the mattress and is a large man and he told us that he always sleeps in the same spot in the bed and he sleeps alone. All of these variables will cause an indentation in any mattress, no matter the manufacturer. We offered him the free inspection and insert exchange which he accepted. If he needs a new mattress we will be happy to exchange it.

I was sold a bed different than the picture. It is the premier bed. One side is lower than the other side. For the cost, the bed is totally a scam! I have called the company and can never reach anyone. The sales guy who sold us the bed did not even leave his name, just initials. I was totally got ripped off! Do not deal with this company.

According to our records you purchased your bed in August 2011 and we have no record of you ever contacting us after you accepted delivery. Our copy of the delivery receipt that is signed by you has the full name of the sales representative on it and the copy of the sales contract you signed has his first initial and full last name. We sell more than 1,500 beds per month across the country and the implication that we delivered a different product than you purchased is highly offensive and just plain wrong. We have reviewed all of your paperwork and the product written on your sales contract is exactly what is on the delivery paperwork you signed. Our National Customer Service Center Phone Number is printed in large type at the top of all of our contracts so that our customers can find it easily and quickly should they need it. It is fully staffed and open every weekday from 9 am to 5 pm East Coast Time. Customers can leave a voicemail after hours requesting a call the next day if they call after hours. Our website also has our customer service number and hours of operation available. In addition, there is a form on our website that allows customers to request a call from our service personnel.
With regard to your complaint that one side of the bed is lower than the other there could be several reasons. Have you been rotating your mattress regularly? Is one person sleeping on the bed significantly heavier than the other causing a larger indentation on one side? We are happy to assist you. Please call us at 1-800-523-5383.

First problem: the mechanism to make the bed go up and down tore my carpet to pieces and damaged my hard wood floors. Contour’s remedy was put rubber shoes on the 4 feet of the bed. Second problem: there are exposed wires going into the remote itself. I put electric tape over the Contour over the exposed wires to prevent an electrical fire. Contour's remedy is to buy a whole new cord to replace the cord. I had to pay over $132.00 to get a new one. This is a serious problem and their solution is to buy a new cord. What then is covered under their warranty? I bought the bed on 02-01-10. Something like this should not have happened on a 2-year old bed that cost $2540.85.

We delivered your bed on February, 4, 2010 and, per your request, we made the bed as low as possible due to your height. We also attached side rails that you had on your old bed to the new bed we delivered. We did not hear from you again until late August, 2010. At that time you informed us that the delivery drivers did not attach your head or footboard to the bed and you said that there was damage to your floors. We performed a service call free of charge and our service technicians installed furniture cups under the glides on the legs of your bed. Nothing on the service form completed by the service technician indicates any damage to the floors. At that time we requested that you send us pictures of the damage you believed was being caused by the bed but we never received them.
In August 2012 you called us to report that your bed was not functioning. To save customers the cost of a service call when the one year free service expires we attempt to troubleshoot common problems over the phone. The first step is to always make sure the electric cord is completely pushed into the socket. We asked you to unplug the bed and plug it back in, and be sure to push it as tightly into the socket as possible. We did not hear back from you after that phone call and our assumption is that the problem was corrected.
On March 19, 2012, you called our service department and ordered a new hand control and you state in your complaint that wires had become exposed on the unit. Customers with wired hand controls need to check their hand control cords regularly to make sure pets or rodents are not chewing on the wires or that the wire does not become pinched by the frame of the bed when adjusting. At this point your bed is two years old and per your contract "Repairs and/or replacements made after the expiration of the one (1) year warranty period are made available at the then prevailing parts and labor charges."
We sell more than 1,500 beds per month and we take our customer service commitment very seriously. Please contact us at 1-800-523-5383 if you need any other assistance.

I originally brought my bed from Craftmatic Adjustable beds with a lifetime warranty. The motors on my bed became very weak. I called Craftmatic to have my bed looked at, and was told that my account was sold to Contour Adjustable Beds. When I called them, they refused to acknowledge my warranty. Their customer service was unprofessional and rude. I filed a complaint with numerous companies such as the BBB, and the Attorney General’s office, but Contour keeps lying, stating that I am requesting for new remotes, when I clearly informed them of my problems with my motor. As of now, Contour Adjustable Beds/Easy Rest still will not take responsibility for anything. My advice to anyone wanting to purchase one of these beds is, please try anyone other than Contour Adjustable Beds.

Your complaint is misleading and unfair and we have been as patient and helpful as we can be trying to help you. Let us reiterate again that we did not buy any accounts from Craftmatic beds when they shut down their retail operations in the United States. You have made complaints against our company with the Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General. Both agencies have reviewed your warranty and explained to you that even if we were responsible for your service under the terms of your warranty (which we are not) you are still responsible for paying for the service call and labor charges. As we have repeatedly stated to you, even though we are not responsible for your service, our parts are compatible and we can repair your bed at the same rate we charge to all customers for parts and labor whose beds are past the warranty date. If you choose to have your bed repaired under those terms please call us at 1-800-523-5383.

My 85-year-old mother and her 90-year-old husband were sold a Premier bed with massage features from an in-home salesman. They had hoped to enjoy improved restful sleep. The bed was delivered on the 5th day after sale; the last day to cancel the bed in writing. Upon attempting to sleep in the bed that evening, my mother found she was not able to easily get into the bed, instead struggling for 30 min. to lie down.
Once in the bed, she was unable to move. She tried a few more nights with the same result. A call to customer service ended with a firmer foam insert being delivered to the home. This did not improve the problem and a representative came to lower the bed and again change the insert. Further complaints to the company with requests to return the bed were met with the same response-the beds are not returnable.
My mother is unable to sleep on a foam mattress, and did not know it was foam when it was ordered. She is unable to maneuver in the bed because of the soft property of the foam. The mattresses are larger than the foundation, making the edges of the bed sag. My stepfather slid off the bed onto the floor the day after he was discharged from a hospital stay because of the soft edges. Repeated attempts to resolve this issue with the company have been unsuccessful. We want the bed out of the house and their $8,424.35 refunded.

We are sorry that your parents are having trouble adjusting to their new beds. It often takes people up to thirty days to fully adjust to a new sleeping surface after spending years on a previous mattress. We do everything in our power to make our customers comfortable in their new bed and we have been working diligently with your parents to customize the bed to their comfort preferences. We have changed the inserts on their mattress three times and lowered the height of their bed to make it easier to get in and out of bed all at no charge. We only sell innerspring mattresses with our product and all innerspring mattresses on the market, no matter the manufacturer, are made with foam encasements. Without the foam encasement your parents would be sleeping directly on the coils. After speaking with our product specialists we think your parents may be more comfortable sleeping on a one-piece queen sized mattress. We would be happy to switch the dual queen mattresses to a one-piece queen size mattress at no charge. Our customer service department will be calling them to offer this option.

My father received a call from "a salesperson" who wanted to set up an appointment for him to view the bed and its options. He explained to the person on the phone that he can't see. That didn't deter the salesperson who proceeded to set up an appointment for a home visit. I met the salesperson at the door at 2pm, 1-21-12 and let him into the porch area. I explained to him my Dad wasn't interested and was unable to convey that to whoever set up the appointment.
Dad is 89, can't see and can't hear well so he tends to be more compliant when "pushed". The salesperson said he understood but wanted to come in to the house to use the phone to contact his office to tell them the appointment fell through. I explained Dad doesn't care for people in the house not to mention he was a total stranger. Do your sales people not have cell phones? I said no and he said ok and left.
However not more than 5 minutes passed when Dad's phone rang. It was "the office" wanting to reschedule an appointment that I had just informed the cellphone-less-apparently-hard-of-hearing-salesman he was not interested in! Dad was on the phone explaining his doctors appointments, lack of eyesight...over and over..He is too polite to tell anyone no. I then called 651-289-4570 to explain the situation and request he not be contacted further. I was told by the woman who answered the phone that there was "no way" their company would have done that.
I restated the complaint and asked for a manager or complaint department. I was told she didn't know what for because "their company doesn't "do that". That was all the more help I got. Dad does not need the annoyance of soliciting or harassing phone calls or visits from unwanted salespeople he is too polite to say "go away". I am not that polite and hope this matter doesn't continue. I and my Dad do not want anymore contact from Contour Beds! I did not choose one star for the rating. I had no choice.

We have written the company in Florida twice with no response from them. The salesman described the bed, on his video, as the most comfortable, relaxing bed on the market, outperforming even Tempur-Pedic. What a scam. It is by far the hardest, most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on. The wave massage unit inside the mattress is nothing more than an intense vibrator; not a relaxing sensation at all. I contacted Steve, the District Manager, and requested a return of bed, at our expense plus any additional fees to refurbish. They stated that they never accept beds for return. They want to insert a layer of foam or some such material to make it softer. This is not acceptable on a $7,000.00 purchase.
Do we have any recourse and if so what? We have had the bank reverse the down payments until we can resolve the problem. We are in our eighty's and I thought that this would be the bed of our dreams. It has been a nightmare to say the least. My husband is recovering from a stroke and has hydroencepilitis making it impossible for him to use the massage (jarring motion) unit.
