I have been doing my payday loans with the El Cajon Speedy Cash location in San Diego For the past four months and the service is stellar. The store manager and his associates, especially Matt are extremely welcoming and polite. I will continue to be a loyal customer.

Applied for loan and was told I was approved. Never heard back from customer service. It's been days. I think the people writing their reviews must be employees because their service is terrible.

I have the Speedy Cash app and I am able to apply for a loan in a couple minutes. It is very easy to maneuver through and incredibly convenient. I applied and the money was in my bank account earlier than promised. With the app I can check the status of my loan, available options and check the due date.

I had a charge ($1000) on my bank statement coming from this company. When I contacted them about it they had no record of the transaction, which was still pending at the time I called. The only way they were "capable" of looking up the transaction was either by checking account number (my bank account) or by my social security number. They couldn't find the information on the phone and asked if I could fax my bank statement and I did so. I spoke to them after they received the fax and they still could not find the information on the account. They suggested I could go to one of the store front locations because they were "on a different system" but the nearest location is over 350 miles away. So now I have to rely on my bank's ability to investigate the fraud after the transaction completes (tomorrow). Obviously this company makes fraud easy and I would recommend moving on to a more reliable money handling company that is better known.

I have always had an easy time using the online service to receive funds. It works quickly and accurately and explains all the fees and payback methods in easy to understand terminology. I have not been disappointed or felt that the fees incurred from borrowing were too high.

I actually had a great experience with this company in the beginning. Communication was great through email and I loved that. I had gotten into a bind and was unable to make my payment one time and I emailed the company and was told that they were unable to help me defer my payment 3 more days. So I defaulted and immediately sent an emailed and explained why I had defaulted. I was emailed back and told that no one could help me through email and I needed to call customer service personally. So I called customer service and when asked why I defaulted I explained my situation and the lady on the phone told me this exactly "you need to be more responsible and you should of paid us first before you bought school supplies for your child." I went on to ask for an arrangement and she told me "unless I pay half of the total due, she wouldn't be able to help me."

Personnel was very helpful. I was very satisfied and was very unhappy because of your ad, said bad credit was ok. Even the lady that was helping me, even she said that you guys don't really look into, but this reason why I didn't get the high end loan. Therefore I was very unhappy for that, instead I was forced to choose a small loan. Other than that things were good.

When I first started with Speedy Cash, I would refer anyone. I was telling everyone that it was superior to any cash advance you could find. Now I don't. It has just been in the last 3 months that service has deteriorated rapidly.

I was just scammed by a rep. I was suppose to get a 5000 loan. He told me I had to go buy a 100 card and then that would be proof that I could pay my payments.. So I did it, so dumb of me. Then he came back saying the state held it up then that I had to pay 483 to get my money then that if I went and bought another 100.00 card he could get me my money! I am so sick. Now I have nothing...

I got a Title loan on my car. Was making my payments every two weeks. Started getting notices that I wasn't making payments that I was behind by 2 weeks which a payment was just made. Made a payment September. Made another payment in October. Have had managers constantly tell me that I didn't make payment. When I showed proof that I did they said it didn't matter. It's not in their system. Today even though I wasn't behind on my payments they said that they had my car repoed even though I paid it off in full. Looking it up they have 3 ongoing class action lawsuits and 2 criminal investigation by state and federal laws. Their repo company must have the repossession agency's number displayed on truck with agency's name on it. They did not have. They just got paid in full though and now they want what is wrong and help them steal money and cars. The company they gave me for the repo does not exist.

Conflicting information. What is all this business with having to go online to get the loan and then you can't qualify for pay in 72 hrs with no cab fee. It sucks.

I had a great experience when visiting your location on Sunday November 8, 2015. I was pleasantly surprised when I noticed that the location was open on Sunday. When I arrived I was greeted and had excellent customer service from the representative and the local manager Kayley. Both individuals were very knowledgeable and gave me several options and also was very willing to explain in detail.

When I took out my original loan of $600 I was told I had another $600 available. When I needed a little more I went in and was told I only had $200 available to me and that she could override and get me $300... So obviously someone gave me the wrong information... Plus your fees are RIDICULOUS! If I didn't absolutely need to borrow the money I wouldn't have gone in, but the fees are just too high :(

I was recently in contact with Speedy Cash regarding my bank fraud. I email them and talked to them on the phone requesting that all ACH withdrawals be stopped immediately. I informed them that I would be making timely payments to them myself online. They told me that they would stop all ACH withdrawals and then went ahead and withdrew $250.00 without my knowledge.

I had a line of credit loan. I called on a Friday to make a payment. After thinking for a bit I called and ask a lady with customer service if I paid in full that day could I immediately reapply and receive cash the same day. She assured me I could. I ask again this time explaining if I could not reapply and receive cash same day, I did not want to do it. I had a car payment to make and needed all the money I could get to buy food and things for my family. She again said yes and even said if my income increased I may qualify for a better credit limit. She said as long as I paid with a debit card there would be no wait period. So I paid in full. She took my payment and placed me on hold only to inform me it would be Monday before I could do anything.
I ask if going to a local office would help she said it might as their guidelines are different. So I did. They treated me like I was lying. The local office said it was a 7-day wait period. So I called customer service again. I ask if the payment could be refunded. They told me after waiting for about 10 minutes it could. The problem being it would be 3 business days before it would be back in my account! At this point I thank them for the little bit of help they offered. Still in shock as to how it took seconds for them to take payment from my account yet it would be days before it would be put back. So now the car payment was late and we are having to closely budget to scrape by as we wait for the 200 some odd dollars to be put be back.

Speedy/Rapid Cash is the best payday loan company in existence. They don't device you about the terms of the loan and approval is almost immediately! They've helped me many times. They even changed my due date so I didn't have to default on the loan. I love this company!!!

I attempted to take out a $2,500.00 installment loan. First the loan company wanted me to buy a Walmart money card with $230 on it, to prove first payment availability. Then an hour later, they wanted me to go back to Walmart to purchase two additional cards, and put $350 on each for "insurance and tax fees". Another 30 minutes goes by and they call me and tell me that the state of Michigan has frozen the funds, because they see these transactions as potential money laundering, but I can release the funds by providing an additional $500 in MoneyGram for insurance. Like an idiot, I went and provided them with the MoneyGram... It didn't go through, so they wanted me to try a different form of payment.
For those of you not keeping count, that puts the money that I am out of pocket at $1,430.00. My bank account at that point was officially empty, and I have no further way of trying to "prove my sincerity" for the loan. So I told them to cancel and release all funds. This was on 10/09/2015. As of this report, today is 10/29/2015, and I have still not seen a dime of the $1430.00 that are owed to me.

The fee is exorbitant, but if you need cash in a pinch, it's pretty good. They refused to give me a promo code after I got many loans which was somewhat annoying. You'd think they could give a break after so many loans.

Speedy Cash collection practices are HARSH and should be illegal. They debit your debit card then bank which resulted in double NSF for me because my debit card was on one bank and checking account with another. I feel if they tried one method of payment and the payment was returned then they should notify the customer before using another method. This would give the customer time to contact them to ensure funds will be available.

I had to send them 250.00 then 600.00. A day later 300.00 more and I still haven't received my loan. They had the nerve to say I need to send 400.00 more. Really ask to speak to a supervisor. He got on the phone cussing me out, very unprofessional. I'm going to report them to BBB and the loan commissioner. They say I have to send them 400.00 more just to get my money back. Whoever heard of such foolishness? I hate them. And I hope they get shut down. They are and always will be a SCAM.

The woman helping did ignore me at times. I've been in customer service for 7 years so I didn't bother me much. At one point I asked if she had heard me with one of my questions after she didn't answer because was interrupted from a phone call and she replied with yes that's why I shook my head. Not the best of answers. That one did make me mad but again I let it go.

I was thinking getting a loan over the internet would be easier however, Speedy Cash you have to go in and I did not know this and they even sent me a contract using the Speedy Cash logo. If you speak with a Kevin **, David **, or Mr. **. Then they are fraud. They are not part of Speedy Cash if you get called from this number **. These people have wrote over $14,000 worth of checks to my account in my name. It was such a mess.
Updated on 10/22/2015: Thank you for your response. I also talk to you, the Federal Trade Commission and I took my bank a copy of the contract with the fake Speedy Cash and a copy of the police report. I hope that we can catch this group of people. I still have a phone number where they are still answering the phone as Speedy Cash.

First, I would like to say that the representatives were very friendly and helpful. The only problem I had was with the due date information displayed. It read a due date of October 16th with a payment of $0.00. I had to contact customer service to discover that it was, in fact, the actual due date and the payment was the amount borrowed plus the fee. This needs to be corrected so the proper information is displayed so there will be no confusion.

I took out a loan last month with Speedy Cash online and was approved for a line of credit with minimum payments. I called Speedy Cash like 3 times after I received the money and had them explain to me how the loan worked. Every time I got a different agent that explained if I paid my loan out in full on or before the due date I can instantly reapply for the full amount which I needed for a major bill (utilities). So I paid it in full online yesterday and tried to reapply but wasn't given the option to, so I called Speedy Cash again but this time was told that I can't apply again until 7 days (what a bunch of crap).
If I wasn't lied to and reassured through the whole month that I can reapply again as soon as I paid off the loan then I would've at least paid the minimum payment and still had enough to pay my utility bill (which is due to be cut on Monday... thanks a lot Speedy Cash) and me and my grandkids wouldn't be getting prepared to be in the dark smh... Never Again will I ever want to go through something like this again... couldn't wish being in the cold in dark on no one.

Initially it took a very long time for the approval process. After approval, everything went fine with no hassles. Like that payments cover part of the principal. Other companies that I checked had payments covering interest only and if additional principal payments not made, a lump sum was due at the end.

I am a regular customer. I applied for a $4000 loan. After I was told I was approved, the customer service rep told me to put $100 on a prepaid card and the loan would be in my account the next day. Well the next day, I was told to get another prepaid card for $500 and THEN the money would be in my account. I'm very unhappy; sounds like a scam I've read about online. Plus, the customer service rep--I believe he goes by "Chester"--was rude to me twice on the phone. Not a good way to help returning customers!

I opened up a loan with them and I got hit by a car and broke two bones and I told them obviously that I have no income right now because I had no job. I was late twice and they kept overdrafting my bank account. They would not do anything to help me at all. I asked for a extension so I wouldn't get overdrafted and that I would pay them two days later and they still did not care. It goes to show you could be on your deathbed and they would still go after you. It's terrible. I will never ever use Speedy Cash again. The worst customer service!

I've been trying to get a loan for the past year with this company. Through this company, they've declined my application not because of my credit history, but my bank account. They recommend me getting an opt plus card to get my loan. Well, I was still denied. I needed the money for my kids. I've switched banks and yet I still can't get approved.

I called Speedy Cash because I was going to use app to get funds and just pick up cash at store. Representative at research blvd location told I could pick up loan within 24 hours so I did the buy-up and tried to pick up in morning. The staff told me I couldn't get my loan because the funds had been sent to bank already and that there was a cooling period. I really needed the money that day and was left with nothing. This is the second time I have issues. The first time I had issues coz the funds were sent to bank but were taking too longer and they had incorrect banking account number.
This time I called to make sure the funds would be sent in store and that I could pick them up next day. Representative told me I could pick them up within 24 hours even though the app told me I had only 1 hour to pick the loan up. I am so disappointed in this loan agency. I feel lied to and the planned ahead of time for this loan and was left empty handed with no resolution to my issue is disappointing. I'm a loyal customer to this company and pay my loans on time. There should not be this many issues with me getting the loan I need. Other companies like Cash Today have much better customer service and do not give inaccurate information.

Today to my surprise when I walked in the bank to get a money order for my rent to Speedy Cash customer relationship already pulled it out. I spoke with a lady just a few days ago that agreed to me making a payment at the end of the week. Now they gonna act like this was not done. 1 person said it was gonna take 4 - 5 hrs to locate the recording. I called back in 20 minutes because I was pissed I couldn't reborrow... they magically found it. I call **. He's was simply reading what the lady typed in the notes and anybody can make that ** up... just to get someone off the phone. Pissed off, now possibly homeless, and will never use them again. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY.

Since The beginning I have been very happy with the service provided to me by the staff at all locations I have visited, even those outside of San Antonio. If there is anything to actually complain about it's the fact that no matter how many time I have borrowed and paid off my loans every time I want to renew it seems the fees increase. When I started they were 22 per every $100 then the next time I applied for a loan it increased and this last time it increased even more to 27 per every $100. That just make me feel unappreciated as a customer especially since I haven't defaulted in any way. Other than that My experience with Speedy Cash has been smooth and very good.

I pay all my bills early morning on the day I get my monthly deposit (Payday). I really to wait before I begin any personal checking account activity besides those four simple bills: rent, power, cable, and speedy cash. All of those checking account payments I do directly on all their websites, individually. Not any are performed from my bank website. "Speedy" LOL Cash is ALWAYS the last item to clear and it’s DAYS afterwards not just one day. While ALL my other three bills "hard-post" by the next evening, on the 4th. "Speedy" Cash doesn’t want their money very fast. Why is that transaction always pending so late? The reason I wait to do any checking is because I am diabetic and my brain is can get VERY MUSHY sometimes.
So if I WAIT before I do ANY more spending. It protects your payment from my checking account experiencing an error and a host of checks bouncing all over everywhere. Yours would be one that would bounce!!! If I did make a mistake until it hard post the bank pays payments at random according to them! Once nine debit cards bounced! However, when I contacted the Federal Reserve they made my bank return all nine! But it took weeks! For all that to transpire - my motivation is to help you get your transaction out of my way. However, know this, I love your online service and I am very grateful for the flexibility and access. Thanks.

I previously wrote a review that wasn't very nice concerning the interest rate. Speedy Cash called me and cleared up my concerns. Yes, it does cost a lot if you make minimum payments until the loan is paid off. However, should you pay it off early you save a considerable amount. There is no early payoff penalty. I should have found out the facts before I wrote a negative review and sincerely apologize for that. I will use Speedy Cash in the future should I need to. I recommend this company to all who might need some quick cash as it only take about 10 minutes to apply, about 5 minutes or less to get approval and in my case the money was in my bank account 6 hours later. I was in a pinch and was able to borrow 285.00 overnight. I wasn't paying attention to the interest rate and now I am paying a total of 910.00 over a year and a half. Yes, it's easy to borrow but beware of the amount you have to pay back. I personally will never do this again.

I was paid for a job I did online for Eugene **. Three days after I got payment, more than the payment amount was withdrawn, without my knowledge or consent. Bank of America told me today that Speedy Cash, Eugene **, has attempted multiple times since 7/3/15 to withdraw more money. I not only have NO loans, NO loans with Speedy Cash, I have had NO dealings with this company. I now owe BoA money in order not to go to ChexSystems & be reported to credit agencies. Speedy Cash is a front for scammers. If you ever see their name, close your accounts, change your phone number & watch out!

I was loaned $100.00 and not explained why because I have two jobs and make well over $6000.00 a month. Was also told that if I download the app it would allow me to change my payment date but was not informed that it could only be done once every 12 months! I felt like I was rushed in and out!

Need to be more faster. They need to open up more tellers. When there are new applicants there should be one for them and one to take care other customer who is a customer already. The line gets a little long and some customer are on a time limit when they have to go pay a bill.

I had a loan with Speedy Cash, and needed to take advantage of the one time in 12 months option to pay it off in installments. It was approved to be paid off in four installments. Well, I thought that they'd automatically debit each payment out of my account - they're very good at doing that usually. Turns out that I, the customer, had to make the payments. I had gone out of town thinking that's what had been done, but when I returned and checked my bank account, it hadn't. So I sent the money electronically and they accepted it. Even sent an email thanking me for the payment. So, make note: they accepted it a few days late with no problems, no email saying that the agreement was broken due to late payment and the balance was now due in full. Nothing but "Thank you very much for your payment."
Well, today, August 3rd, the remaining balance came out all at once. I called and was told basically since I'd broken a promise - that is not what happened - that the agreement was not good anymore and there was nothing that they could do now. If the agreement was broken when my first payment was sent a few days late, why did they not send an email letting me know at the time? It wasn't broken enough to accept the payment.

This particular time renewing my Speedy Cash loan was unacceptable. I went through and paid on time and placed another loan as usual. This time was different in that they didn't send the money to my account like they were supposed to! I am so used to everything going smoothly with Speedy Cash and this was a huge dropping of the ball. Now that I went and took what I had and paid bills with it expecting this to be in there the next day. I have fees to pay my bank and bills that didn't process. Who is going to cover those! NOT SPEEDY CASH I guarantee that. Can't wait to get this loan over so I don't have to deal with this anymore.

I went online to get a payday advance. I was only getting $255.00... it said did you want your money in your bank account or come into the store. I chose come into the store. Got in my car, drove over to the store and was told although they closed at 7pm... I was not there by 5:15 so I have to come back tomorrow. Next day it was in my bank account which I did NOT want it to go in there. Fast forward because I got this "stupid" advance... My credit score went way down and they did a "HARD inquiry" on my credit... ALL FOR $255.00... NOT WORTH IT. And if I had to do it all over again... I'd rather collect cans and bottles and keep my credit score in good shape!!!

I tried getting a loan Monday, 20 and I was not able to due to a previous loan was not out of the system. It took more than 5 days for me to get a loan from you guys and I know you guys are busy. But you guys should let someone get a cash right once you take the cash out of the bank. I usually pay on time but this past week I didn't. Point is once we pay you guys back we should be able to get another loan. This is my opinion. And thank you for the loans, really appreciate it.

On July 20, 2015 the rep by the name Ms. Bianca was very rude. She asked for my ID and bank card for the process. I told her the name that is on my account but still put the wrong info in their system. When she gave all the info to the other rep, that's when she notice the wrong info. Ms. Bianca was arrogant and unprofessional when I told the rep the right info. When dealing with new customers the first impression is the last...I won't let this stop me from doing business with them because of one unprofessional customer service worker.
