This was one of the financial corps that I had no problem with. Most of my transactions were done online. The online service was very simple and self-explanatory for anyone to understand. If I did encounter a problem, I was able to call someone easily. The people that I spoke to were friendly and very patient. They didn't rush our conversation. I was also impressed with the times that the corporation was able to speak to someone. Some places close to early and working people can't reach them. Thanks Ocwen!!

We have attempted to negotiate a short sale of our home through Ocwen for 2 years now as our house is no longer worth the mortgage amount and will never be. The first time they gave us an amount that they would accept for the house but the house failed to sell. The next time they refused to provide an amount but said they would need an offer. An offer came through, the first 1 in two years, and we submitted it along with several rounds of the exact same paperwork because somehow the paperwork doesn't get transferred with the file. They denied the short sale and determined that we made too much money to qualify even though our salaries didn't change a significant amount (less than $2000) from the previous year. It's just shameful.

On August 1st I was three months behind on my mortgage and called to make a payment and to tell them that within that month I would make two more payments but they wouldn't accept any payments and told me that I can do a loan modification. I told them that I can't because I already had one but would like to work with you to pay back the three months and they told me I have to do a loan modification. They sent me the paperwork which I completed and I went online to check my status and they denied my loan modification and told me by next week I have to put down a down payment of $13,800 for a repayment plan because I'm 6 months past due. I explained to them that I wouldn't be 6 months past due if they would've worked with me 3 months ago and I would've caught up if they took the one payment and let me pay the other two that month. I am so upset that now I'm going to lose my house because I did exactly what they told me to do.

UNFORTUNATELY, OUR ORIGINAL MORTGAGE COMPANY SOLD (TRANSFERRED) OUR LOAN TO PHH MORTGAGE. We have had nothing but frustration ever since. We paid for 1 years insurance on our home 2 months ago and our insurance premiums are escrowed (!) but we got a letter from PHH that said our insurance had expired and they were going to buy insurance for us! Our insurance agent assures us that our insurance has never expired and is completely in place and up to date!
Plus, we tried to go online to set up automatic draft payments, but when we register it rejects the registration with the error code that says the password doesn't meet guidelines! Guidelines say 7 or more characters with letters and numbers only and must have at least one of each. We have tried 5 different combinations within those guidelines and they are always rejected. And, you can't just change the password when it's rejected. You have to go back and fill in the complete registration all over again!
I finally used screwyou1 which is within the guidelines and it too was rejected! I get the distinct feeling that this is only the beginning of sorrows with this company. Next step: I'll send the payment priority mail with a tracking number so I know darn well they got my payment ON TIME! If they hold it and make it late I will at least have some recourse with the credit bureaus! Even though our mortgage is only a few weeks old, we are now looking to refinance to get away from PHH Mortgage! PLEASE avoid this company like the plague that it is!

I have had a long history with Ocwen, probably over 4 years. They are the most sloppy almost institutionally incompetent group of people I have ever had the displeasure of working with! They first messed up my mortgage when I first was a customer because they incorrectly assigned my mortgage as being escrowed for Insurance and taxes when it wasn't, then they wouldn't correctly apply my payment for 18 months thereby destroying my credit rating during that time.
Most recently they didn't make a payment to my new insurance company and that has caused excessive premiums and forced me to get another insurance company which is over $280 high premium than the first! The company basically holds you hostage as you don't have any choice to deal with them, but beware and document document document every conversation, followup on everything and record the agent number and triple check whatever they promise, because they will very likely make a mistake!

I received a phone call from PHH mortgage stating that I could refinance my home loan which would lower my rate and payment. This process has went on for about 4 months. I have emails showing that I would be able to skip 2 payments if I refinanced with them. Well 4 months later this process is still in the process. My wife and I signed closing paperwork around 2 weeks ago, then received a call that we needed to resign the paperwork due to an error on PHH's behalf. Due to me being told that I could skip 2 payments I didn't make them and now PHH has reported to the credit bureau that I have a payment over 30 days due.
Mine and my wife's credit has been ruined due to PHH not upholding their end of the deal. I would recommend people finance with the devil prior to even thinking about PHH. They never return your phone calls, tell you information that is untrue, call you everything but a liar and ruin your credit. I will be visiting my lawyers office today. PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM PHH MORTGAGE!!!

The officer with whom I spoke recently, was very painstaking in walking me through the Online Payment Program. I told him that I would submit my October payment before the 15th, but this will not be possible until the 19th when I get my Social Security check. While Ocwen representatives are very helpful and always courteous, it is extremely difficult to get in touch with them on the phone. Having a very high interest rate and hit with recent extenuating financial hardship issues, I appealed to Ocwen to modify my loan to reduce my interest rate. My request was denied because I'm well qualified to manage my mortgage as is according to the top line numbers - ratio of income to mortgage debt - that's all they look at. Even when presented to them in writing, they do not consider financial hardship due to extenuating circumstances. They continue to look at the top line only.
My mortgage interest rate is extremely high compared to current market rates and Ocwen has twice denied my appeal to restructure my loan and lower the rate. I am disappointed to find that Ocwen places no value on customer relationships. Their continued refusal to assist me makes it clear that they are not interested in keeping a good and reliable customer.

I recently switched homeowner's insurance to lower my monthly payment. 2 insurance payments were made for the year. After Ocwen was refunded the prior company's premium, they raised my payment by a net of $45 instead of lowering it. The reason they gave was that they could legally withhold 1/6 of the annual escrow amount. Not sure how switching to cheaper insurance can raise your monthly payment but they found a way.

To set the event, I'm being audited for 2013 so you know how stressful I was when I discovered I hadn't put in my mortgage tax form. When the tax agent told me I need the form, I called Ocwen. The first person informed me that I needed to go back to my original mortgage co. which ended any further discussion with Ocwen. USAA said they sold the loan to GMAC and I should get in touch with them. GMAC sent me back to Ocwen, where the wonderful experience occurred. I explained my situation to your rep. (I'm sorry I didn't get the name) and she took over and didn't just kiss me off. The 2013 tax form ran a bell with her and she told me they had just received a batch of GMAC policies in July and informed me she would go through them just in case mine was in there. She told me several people hadn't noticed the form had been put on the last page of a monthly statement and didn't see it.
After much time because the packets weren't in any order, she found my necessary form. Right then, I could have hugged her for going to all the trouble but then she said something unbelievable, "I'll get an email right out to you but just in case something happens, I'll mail you a copy so you'll sure to get one of them." I did receive the email but also the snail mail came through. I have told my friends about this experience and they all agreed, it was way beyond any service they have ever received. I had received calls as early as the second day of the month before. The representative did a very good job. I could understand him, he provided information on a change in procedure that caused my problem and provided a way to pay my bill online without additional cost. He guided me through the process and was very polite and reassuring. He was a welcome change from previous experiences.

Not my fault in any way. I am trying to get back on my feet. I paid the one trial payment but I cannot spend 75 percent of my earnings on house payment and insurance. So disappointed in this company. A week later, I receive another phone call from Ocwen stating the payment was due on the original date. We are once again behind and are scrambling to get the payment. This was our first modification payment.
[11/04/2016] My issue was partially resolved when I spoke with a different employee of Ocwen. To Ocwen, the issue has been resolved because the money was received before the new contract was made null and void.

I live in California and I work as a Firefighter. Raging fires are common in the State and in June I was deployed to a conflagration Fire in Los Angeles County where mandatory evacuations were ordered and structures were lost. I was unable to deposit the mortgage into my Wells Fargo Checking Account at the time Ocwen attempted to withdraw the mortgage from that account. I was aware of this but I was working the fire and knew I would have to pay a late fee. No problem.
On June 27th (the day I was released) I deposited the entire mortgage amount into Wells Fargo Bank. The Wells Fargo Teller told me Ocwen would make another attempt to withdrawal funds. Unfortunately, I did not find out Ocwen did not attempt to withdraw funds until I received an intent to Foreclose notice from Ocwen. Ocwen reported me to the 3 Credit Bureaus for a 30 day late payment which devastated my credit rating. Wells Fargo wrote me a letter of apology for giving me bad information. I sent Ocwen my orders to deploy, a letter from my Chief and the apology letter from Wells Fargo. I also sent Ocwen proof of ability to pay and intent to pay. Ocwen refuses to change the 30 day late. I have never been late paying my mortgage prior to this unfortunate situation. There is no appeal process or 3rd party reviewer of the circumstances. In turn, I have lost the house I was buying due to my new credit score. ;-(

I have been experiencing the most unrealistic and unprofessional behavior that I've ever seen in a company of any size, much less a mortgage company in such a federally regulated industry. I am a homeowner and the deed is solely in my name. After being supplied with a legal, notarized separation in accordance with the laws of the state of North Carolina, Ocwen's loan manager suggested I apply for a loan modification in February 2016.
I filled out their loan modification application and subsequently was notified that I had qualified for the modification. When the modification agreement arrived, Ocwen had added a signature line for my ex-husband. I signed the agreement and notated on it that my ex-husband was not a party to the loan and discussed this with my loan manager by telephone, which is the only means of communication with Ocwen. During the next four months I was subsequently sent five more copies of the agreement and all of them included a signature line for my ex-husband.
In June 2016, at Ocwen's direction, I once again signed the modification agreement and returned it to Ocwen along with my check for the first trial period payment which was processed by Ocwen's loan department. Subsequently I received over six telephone calls from Ocwen stating that the agreement had been "denied by the underwriter" and was not valid because (1) my ex-husband had not signed it and (2) I had not sent then a copy of the divorce decree. Each time I explained to them that North Carolina does not grant a divorce until at least a year from the date of separation, but does recognize a legal separation agreement when the signatures are properly notarized. At their request, I sent a second copy of the separation agreement and was told that a new modification agreement would be prepared.
At the end of August 2016 I was sent a new loan modification agreement with the correct borrower name and signature lines. I talked to an Ocwen loan manager by phone before signing the agreement and expressed concern about the payment that I had made in July being credited to it. She told me that because the loan modification was an "in-house modification" and not a HAMP modification, only two trial payments were required. She stated that Ocwen would apply the July payment to the new modification agreement (which was dated September 2016) and that the second payment would be due on September 16, 2016. At her direction, I signed the loan modification agreement and returned it by USPS Priority Mail.
Subsequently, I received a call from Ocwen telling me that the modification agreement was in default because "the August payment had not been made." I told them that I had followed the directions of their loan manager and gave them the specifics of my conversation with her. I kept getting follow up phone calls from Ocwen's representatives as each one said the issue would be investigated and scheduled a "telephone meeting".
One Ocwen representative denied that I had even had that conversation with their loan manager saying there was no record of it on my file. Within a week another loan manager said that he saw the notes about the conversation on my file, but that there was no mention of the payment terms. Another loan manager said that there was a record of the conversation and the terms, but that their representative had "been wrong" and given me incorrect information about the trial payment requirements and that they were sending the issue to their resolution department for review.
Yesterday, October 4 2016, yet another Ocwen loan representative insisted that the account was past due because the August payment had not been made. I told him about the previous conversation with their representative stating that the issue was being forwarded to their resolution department and that I was told I would be receiving correspondence about it. At first he said that he didn't see any information on my file about a review and I asked if my file had been notated as I was told it would be. Then he said that he did see a notation about it and that it had been reviewed and I should have already received the correspondence. When I told him that I had received nothing yet and asked if he had a copy of their reply in my file, he stammered around for a bit then said that he saw that it had been mailed to me that day.
This loan representative proceeded to tell me that the document stated that there was a misunderstanding and miscommunication on my part about the trial period payments and I was refusing to make the August payment. I told him that there was no misunderstanding on my part because I had made detailed notes when speaking to their agent about the trial payments. He then said that their loan representative had told me the wrong thing and proceeded to threaten foreclosure.
After I told him that I had tried diligently to follow Ocwen's directions since February and had been repeatedly sent incorrect modification agreements, made a good faith payment in July, then told in multiple phone calls by their loan representatives modification agreement was denied and no longer valid. In addition, that I had signed a new modification agreement in September and repeatedly attempted to abide by Ocwen's instructions and agreements, I simply didn't see how I was in the wrong.
He then suggested I fill out a new modification application and said asked how I wanted it to be sent to me - by fax, e-mail or mail. I asked him to mail it to me and reiterated that my ex-husband's name was to be included on the application and verified that they did have a copy of my separation agreement on file. He agreed and said that I already had a telephone meeting scheduled for follow up. I asked him for the date and time of the meeting and he said that it was scheduled for October 4 2016 at 1:45 pm - this was during our conversation on October 4 2016 at 3:30 pm. I reminded him that it was October 4 2016 and we were speaking on that telephone meeting as I had missed their call and called back as instructed on their voicemail message.
He then accused me of being negligent and refusing to take their call and stated that he wasn't a loan manager and worked in a different department. He also said that he wasn't familiar the loan modification applications as they were only handled by loan managers and it was my fault for refusing to take their call earlier that day.
This entire year of dealing with Ocwen has been like playing "whack-a-mole" in that every time I followed their directions, they changed the terms and rules. It appears that there is an inordinate lack of communication and cohesion within their departments and loan representatives demonstrated by repeated mistakes on the documents they've sent me to sign in addition to being given different directions and subsequently different information. While I certainly understand that mistakes do happen and try to work with Ocwen to resolve their mistakes, this incident has more than reached the level of gross negligence and incompetence on Ocwen's part and leading to finger pointing and blaming among their representatives then attempting to project their confusion and subsequent fault upon me, their customer.

I have been trying to remove my PMI. After following Ocwen procedures to have it removed they send an incompetent appraiser out. He valued the property far less than tear down houses on the next block. I feel after spending $500 of my money on their appraisal they should do a better job. I tried following up with reps from Ocwen and I do not get calls back from the manager assigned to my issue. The whole process seems flawed. They make you pay for an appraisal from a company they are associated with, just to undervalue so that I have to keep paying $500 a month for PMI.

Originally the loan my husband and I took out was with GMAC/homecomings which was taken over by Ocwen. When Ocwen transferred the paperwork, they listed my then-husband's name only, and omitted mine - which means that not only won't they discuss the loan with me, they refuse to acknowledge that I exist. I sent all the necessary documents to Ocwen as requested, "give us ten days" and of course I never heard from them again. When I again contacted Ocwen, they said they couldn't accept documents from non-owners.
I explained that I AM an owner, I had furnished proof, and their records that indicate otherwise are wrong. Then my attorney sent the same package of documents to Ocwen's legal department - no response from them either. So Ocwen still won't deal with me at all. My loan is about to be paid off, and Ocwen is notoriously bad about sending satisfactions - the latest excuse I've heard is that there's no one who can sign off on the old GMAC/homecoming loans, which I find incredible. Is there anyone who will meet with me in person and review my documents, or is a quiet title action my only option at this point? Why should I have to sue over their sheer laziness??

Many hidden fees. Ambiguous closing cost estimate - could be this, or that, or some other random number. They lock you into the refi as you are responsible for fees if you back out, then the pain begins. Numerous underwriters and processors, they each ask for the same things over and over. They are EST and will call you at 9:00 their time, regardless of what time zone you are in.
After a month, when you are fully invested in the refi and obligated, suddenly something comes up and the refi may not go through. So you have to answer more questions and provide more evidence and it all drags out even though you are expected to give them whatever they want immediately. I cannot wait to get this done, and in time, get rid of these idiots. Absolutely passive-aggressive. I wonder if they want you to back out and just pay the fees. Had my fixed rate mortgage for more than 11 years without incident. The mortgage payment was only principal and interest as all taxes and insurance are paid directly by me for the entire term of the loan. Through some glitch, my account suddenly received an escrow account, to which they started charging a monthly fee onto my regular payment. Proof of paid insurance and taxes has been confirmed several times. The mortgage company's own insurance, customer service and escrow departments all confirm this and agree the escrow account should be closed down and their information corrected, however, they have been unable to make this correction for over 5 months now.
Initially, I gave them an additional $800+ which was to be reimbursed to me, to allow for the time frame they claimed it would take to correct the issue since I didn't want my credit damaged, and continued to make the regular monthly payments, as instructed. However, now they are threatening me with late fees and foreclosure since they refuse to apply the regular payments to the principal and interest unless I also fund their escrow account. I call multiple times a month and each time am assured this issue will be corrected and the $800+ will be reimbursed, then a week or so later I get another letter in the mail demonstrating nothing has changed. I suppose it's time for a lawyer.

Without our OK or signatures Ocwen put us at some point into a "Modification Agreement," whatever that is. After talking with an attorney we have found out that this is illegal. I have been making monthly payments without stop. They have not applied them to our loan, but put them into some slush fund which I am to assume they are collecting interest on. That's what lenders do. We have also always paid our own homeowners insurance, which they have copies of each year from our agent and we find out they are also collecting monthly payments for insurance. So where is that money going or gone to? We pay our own out of pocket each month and have never been behind on it.
Now they have our credit rating at 500 and show that we are five months behind on our mortgage even though they have been paid $1200 per month nonstop. As we try to get this worked out with them, they continually send us incorrect statements and paperwork. They tell us there isn't anything they can do until we send the paperwork back (even though they won't accept it because they send the wrong stuff). We get a different "Customer Service" person each time that gives us a different answer as to what we have to do. Each time it's wrong.
In the meantime our credit is ruined. We couldn't even get $20 from a bank on credit if needed and all we've done is pay our mortgage each month. I am so angry right now, a $2 or $3 million lawsuit might just be on our radar. We are hiring an attorney today or tomorrow and we'll see if they can get someone who knows what they are doing and someone who will actually give straight talk. I hope that attorney charges tons of money too so Ocwen can pay that also. There is lots of pain and suffering going on here and when it comes to our credit rating, all we get from them is "Oh well, guess that's what happens." Illegal scam company and illegal business dealings. Don't ever get suckered in by them. They are definitely not what they put out to be.

PHH Mortgage is a third-party company that Coldwell Banker Mortgage retains to handle completed loans. PHH Mortgages practices are abysmal across the board: From answering the phone to working with borrowers on a problem, the company is effectively useless at everything it does. From my now extensive dealings with the company, I have come to the conclusion that everything it does is designed simply to string along borrowers so they continue to make mortgage payments as long as possible. The some 18 months I have dealt with the company have left me so bitter that I will certainly never directly use Coldwell Banker for anything ever again, and may not even buy a house from a seller represented by a Coldwell Banker agent. There is absolutely no excuse for how terrible this company is. My experience, so you can decide for yourself, is as follows:
In May 2015, our house in Houston, Texas, flooded (along with hundreds of others). After spending over an hour providing income information and discussing my intentions about repaying the Coldwell loan with PHH Mortgage employee a few days after the flood, she promised we would be eligible for a deferral while we were displaced and rebuilding. After completing an onerous packet of information that arrived a week or two later, and providing documentation of our assets, bank accounts, bills, etc. (a project that took untold hours), I sent the completed packet and supporting materials to PHH Mortgage. A message board was created where I could login to review the pending deferral.
Despite the fact that I provided everything needed, some PHH Mortgage idiot started sending boilerplate postings that we were missing information. I lost track of how many times I pointed out they already had the information they were requesting, and sent the requested information again and again (this went on for weeks). At some point, I began making angry phone calls asking for their corporate counsel, which I was never given the number for, but was eventually sent to the office of the president after repeated discussions with employees that had no last names, no phone extensions, and no email addresses.
Finally, and many months after the flood, a girl that sounded like a college intern finally returned my phone calls, and said she would look into our case. Toward the end of 2015 (after we had already rebuilt our house over four months, and paid double mortgage and a rental notes during that time), she called back to say she could defer half of our mortgage payment for three months, with that half to incur interest and be rolled into the remaining loan. I never accepted or rejected the offer, since we had moved back in to our house by this time.
In April 2016, our house flooded again. The exact same song and dance occurred: Promises of help, receiving the same packet of information to complete, nobody answering the phone that could answer an actual question. Realizing the fact none of this would do me any good, I called the office of the president to accept the offer to defer half the mortgage for three months. Unsurprisingly, the offer was supposedly already withdrawn in a letter we never received, and I was told to go through the same exact process as before.
Needless to say, PHH Mortgage and Coldwell Banker, by extension is a terrible company. Maybe this practice is par for the course, in which case an industry-wide reform is necessary. The thinly-veiled practice is to simply gather asset information from a borrower at a time the borrower is down on their luck. The way PHH Mortgage extracts this information is by making promises to help the borrower that PHH Mortgage has no intention of keeping. Just by way of example of how the process should work, Ford sent me a notice asking if it could defer my truck payments because of the flooding. And my student loan deferral was accomplished in a single call. It makes no sense that I can rebuild a flooded house from the studs out in less time than PHH Mortgage can respond with a half of a deferral, unless the company’s goal is debt collection (and not helping borrowers).
After the second flood, we sold our house. PHH Mortgage would not accept our payoff of the mortgage note. (A check from our insurance company, with the balance paid by the buyer-investment company.) The investors buying our house took a major risk, paid the full mortgage note by wire, and then had us simply endorse the insurance check (with Coldwell Banker as one of the payees) to them. The continued incompetence of PHH Mortgage could have easily cost us the sale of the house.
And, the icing on the cake to all of this was that PHH Mortgage, weeks after mortgage balance was paid off, never sent the escrow balance to us. After sending a threatening letter, I still got no response after several more weeks. Another angry phone call and hour wait on hold later, I was told the escrow check was mailed to the old address, despite the fact they were provided our new address in the letter I sent. I was then told the old check would be cancelled, and to wait two weeks for a new one to arrive. The next day, the original check arrived (forwarded from the old house). A month later, no new check had arrived. I cashed the cancelled check, which was apparently never actually cancelled. A fitting end to my saga with this confederacy of dunces.

When you exit it then repeats the their selected partners website info 2 times more. Finally it says, "The number you dialed has changed." - Proceeds to send you to another number that starts with MORE offers all over again! My first bad experience with this crap company was when they bought my loan from my previous lender. I received no statement from them for 3 months. I did receive a letter telling me they were the new loan servicing agent, so I called them to ask them how much my payment was and where to send it. They told me to just sit tight, that they were very behind on assigning new loan numbers, and to wait to pay them until I received something in the mail from them. They said "don't worry, you won't be charged any late charges or sent to collections." Well, two months went by and nothing. Next thing I know they report me to a collection agency, I'm getting phone calls about my late loan payments, and I was charged late fees. It took numerous phone calls to clear all of this up. I finally got all this cleared up after four months of phone calls.
The next issue I had is I have a tax lien so I wanted to get them to increase my loan payment and add the extra to my escrow account for when that tax was due. Each time I sent them the extra for the escrow account, they added it to principal. I marked the check and the payment coupon very clearly indicating the extra was for the escrow account and why. Didn't matter. Then they did a re-analysis of my escrow account and decreased my monthly payment. A few months later they came after me saying I didn't pay ENOUGH, I had been underpaying, when all I was doing was paying what they said they wanted. They then wanted me to pay the difference between what my payments should have been and what they billed me for. I had to use up all my savings to cover that mistake of theirs.
Regarding the escrow account re-analysis that started it all, I called numerous times to explain to them this wasn't necessary, but they didn't understand what I was saying. The last time I made an extra payment to my escrow account it actually was posted to the actual escrow account instead of principal. First time that happened in the past 9 months I've been dealing with this crap!!! I hate this company with a passion. I was not surprised to find that numerous others have had similar issues with these morons.

I would prefer not to get HUD involved - hopefully we won't need to. On behalf of my client - I appreciate any help that Ocwen can give and I will assure you that we will be VERY vocal in our praise. FYI - Ocwen does have written authorization on file giving me permission to speak on the client's behalf.

Rhett, We're here to help. Our Ombudsman team has been assigned and will contact you as requested. Also, please send a private message with the homeowner's full name and property zip code so that we can locate the account of your client. Thank you.

I refinanced my mortgage and unfortunately ended up with PHH. PHH was recently bought out and since then they are awful. I refinanced in March and as of Sept. 2016 still have NO recorded deed of trust on my house. I called in June to check on it and they didn't even know it hadn't been recorded. They lied to me and told me they processed it when in fact they had not. I waited a additional 4 weeks and still nothing. I literally have been calling twice a week if not more since June 2016 to try to get a resolution to the situation and still... I have no resolution. The deed of trust has been rejected 3 times by my county because they still can't get it right.
I again am sitting on hold for the second phone call today hung up on the first time, for 1 hour and still holding. I have begged and pleaded, to even take it in myself with still no solution and they will NOT work with me. Colorado has a law that the deed of trust must be recorded within 90 days... they have far exceeded that. I don't know if or when my deed of trust will be recorded regardless of what I do on my end to try to continue to push this through.
By far the worst company I have ever worked with. Hold times are a minimum of 45 minutes, to get to a supervisor you will wait additional 1 hour minimum. I can't say anything good about this company or the people they hire. I have gotten transferred and transferred and transferred and then when you do get someone that knows what they are talking about, getting back to them is impossible. I have been sent to ever department and every time I call it's that way as well. I have tried emails, supervisors, offering to do it myself, to no avail... I am beyond frustrated and am literally just sitting hoping that this 4th time that they submit it to the county will actually be right. Now that I have waited 1 hour and 45 mins for a supervisor I was told that it takes 24 to 48 hours for them to research the issue to even get back to you. Does anyone at this company do their job or even run it?

The idiots in the ** Call centers barely speak English and talk like robots with no information about the case. I have written to the CEO and contacted the Florida BBB. My home is now uninhabitable!! You have put locks on it but not maintained it! It is now a huge danger to the neighborhood. There is literally no one who seems to be able to move this along. I just want out!!! I have two houses on One Mortgage therefore I have a homeowners and a dwellers policy. These policies are paid out of my escrow account. In 2015 neither policy was paid therefore causing it to be cancelled. It took me over a month of continuous phone calls to get the issue taken care of. August of 2016 Ocwen was sent the paperwork to pay both of my insurance policies, one due the 7th one is due the 22nd of September. It is now the 12th of September neither have been paid and I have been fighting with them once again for over a month to pay for this. The insurance company has mailed and faxed the bills and I have spoke to the insurance department at Ocwen on multiple occasions. I was told today, 9/12, they're researching why it has not been paid but have been given no promise to pay. If I don't pay my mortgage on time I incur a late fee. Maybe Ocwen should as well for not keeping their bills paid. VERY DISSATISFIED.

It was brought to my attention on 09/ 07/2016 when my insurance company called me at work that they have not receive the HOI renewal payment. They also advise me they had sent the lender a 30 day notice of the renewal payment. The insurance company put me on hold but then had to call me back. And when they called me back they advised me the lender advised them they are sending a over night check to them for Friday, (which is the cut date, 09/09/2016, for my insurance renewal). I advise the insurance I would call the lender in the morning to confirm the funds would be going out.
My lender did not send my insurance company my payment for my renewal of my homeowner insurance on time due to that they updated their system and lost the data information for the insurance company for my home. I was advised this per a service manager that I spoke on 09/08/2016. I was also advised "Sorry, but there was nothing they can do. Maybe you can pay a monthly payment so you won't lose your insurance." I pay extra to have my HOI and taxes include in my payment in my mortgage payment and the lender is going to ask me to put out more money for their error. The lender had lied to the insurance company.
I was advise by the service manager that it would take 5 to 7 days before any funds could be directed out, and by that time my policy will have been canceled. I asked my lender again, "How can you help me as your borrower, your customer since this is your error, your mistake?" They told me; "We are sorry, there is nothing we can do, but you have 90 days to get your insurance information to us." The borrower should NEVER pay for the lender's mistakes. This is not customer service friendly, this is a customer service nightmare. This lender claims to care for their community, they have a awful way of showing it.

We paid off our loan in 2014 and Ocwen still hasn't released the lien! We have faxed and called numerous times to no avail. This company's customer service/research and archive departments are impossible to reach. The customer service department insists that the only contact information they can provide to me is a fax number? This means that I can not actually talk to a person in order to resolve this issue. This has been going on for two years! I hesitate to get my lawyer involved only because I'm not sure how much further he can get if the only information is a fax number? The lack of communication and the inability to get this loan released is unacceptable and quite frankly illegal! I would not use this company for a mortgage in the future under any circumstances!

After watching my grandmother struggle with Ocwen for months, I can not just sit here and let it happen anymore. I asked her to write a letter to express her complaints. "The property at (address) is vacated as of December 1st, 2015. I had informed this information to your office several times. I have explained that I was in a bicycle accident and unable to live alone in that house and handle the bills myself. When I did all of this explaining in the beginning, the first gentleman told me it would okay and Ocwen would secure my relocation with at least $10,000 and now Ocwen is wanting me to sign over the house for not even a penny. I have had to pay $100 a month for upkeep of the grounds. The renters stopped paying in November 2015. Ocwen has promised to secure my incentives of $10,000.
My parents who owned the house and who are now deceased gave you Ocwen all of your incentives for years. It is truly sad they have paid 100x over what the house is worth. I had the chance to sell the house to pay Ocwen off but you would not allow me to do that in the beginning because you continued to ask me for papers that I had already sent, multiple times and even now. Like the death certificate for my mother and father. Here we are again, you needing another death certificate for my father. Ocwen should be ashamed of themselves but they aren't. Why would they, it's all about money to them. I'm sending papers that I have sent 10 times before. Each time I send in a letter and papers to process the foreclosure of my mother's and father's house it breaks my heart and I still cannot secure my incentive of 10,000 that was promised to me back in December."
I wish I knew what to do to help my grandmother. I feel as if she is being taken advantage of because of her age and disability. Why is this company dragging out this process? It's not helping her move on. We have all of the correct paperwork, but I guess that's not making a difference. If somebody who actually wants to do their job respectively and correctly, I would appreciate them getting in contact with us immediately. I can't believe this.

It took three weeks to issue the escrow check after closing - not too bad. The check was sent to the wrong address and made out to two parties, one deceased - not their fault. The problem started when I tried to rectify the situation. I was given specific instructions regarding the paperwork necessary and to whom it should be sent. Those instructions were followed to a tee, but no check. Made a follow up call and was told they hadn't received the paperwork. I was put on hold long enough for the customer rep to, lo and behold, find it! The changes were made and I was told a new check would be issued. Waiting, waiting... Made another follow up call and was told the check would be processed in 3 weeks!
The fault was with them for "losing" my paperwork and not making the changes in a timely manner, but I was told I still needed to adhere to their processing time frame. I objected and asked to speak to a supervisor, only to be told I would receive a callback the next day. No call. No call for a week (I was unable to find the time to pursue this battle during that time). Finally, after a week I made another follow up call and was told someone had tried to reach me. Hmmm, no message, no missed call. I asked to speak to a supervisor again and was told that another work order would have to be generated to make that happen! Four months after closing and still no check!!! This company is grossly incompetent!!! So, BEWARE! Run far and fast! I gave them one star because no stars is not allowed. If it were possible, I would give them a minus star score!

I have submitted the required paperwork, only to tell me, constantly, that I am missing something else. We submitted the forms in July and every single contact I have had with them, they need some other letter of verification because the underwriters over there don't seem to know what the hell they are doing. My relationship manager tells me I am all set, and surprise surprise, I get another letter telling me I need to send yet another document in order for them to even START the process.
It is now September, and if the process doesn't start soon, we have to submit everything all over again. Pretty much done at this point and giving up. Here I thought they wanted to help their customers, but they seem to be finding every reason in the world not to!!! Really not happy with this process at all. My account representative has been so helpful throughout the years in giving me information on products and programs to help me in home retention, modification and resources available to homeowners. He has been a pleasure to work with. When my account representative is not available comma even though substitute account representatives are helpful. My experience with Ocwen has been positive.

Thank you, Robyn. We appreciate this positive feedback!
