I have been through a number of mortgage processes both new and refi. This is one of the few where the representative, Dawit **, knew what he was doing, He was knowledgeable, courteous and patient as we struggled with the online signing. We went from loan application to closing in less than three weeks. Very impressed.

At my age, I've gone through at least 8 mortgage applications. My experience with Newday USA was by far the easiest and fastest. From initial contact to closing in less than 2 weeks. Unbelievable! I really appreciated the fact that I only had to deal with one individual throughout the the application process. This individual was very knowledgeable and professional during the entire process; returned phone calls promptly and answered any concerns which I had. I highly recommend any veteran who is thinking about refinancing to contact Newday USA. You will not regret it.

The VA Loan process was short and to the point. My New Day Representative walk me through the entire process and provide the best customer service that I have ever seen in the home buying process. As a former US Veteran and combat pilot with 165 fighter jet missions in Vietnam, I decided to take advantage of my VA benefits and on November 9th 2020. I contacted NewDay USA Financial and spoke with Mr. Kyle Timothy ** (Account Executive MLO NMLS # ** Company NMLS # **). After a short time my wife and I were preapproved for a home loan and started the home purchasing process. Throughout the process, I was very impressed with Kyle. His attention to detail, his explanations of the various documents and most importantly his personal phone contact with me on nearly a daily basis, enhanced my confidence in Kyle and the entire NewDay process and company. In short the loan experience thanks to Kyle exceeded my expectations!

I had to pay out of pocket 93 dollars for a termite inspection when you advertise no out of pocket cost. I was asked to get documents that I feel your company should have been able to get causing me a lot of running around. The job got done so I am happy about that but it was costly.

New Day refi specialist were simply wrong every step in our simple and straightforward refi. The specialist provided inaccurate information numerous times and caused my wife and I several unnecessary challenges. We had to take control and follow a trust but verify approach when we expected far better service. Our experience was in no way what was expected based on New Day advertising. Very disappointed!

Overall my experience with New Day was good. I did have a couple of problems that I consider were due to a lack of training. First my loan application started Nov. 2019. I was hospitalized with covid during most of April, so that caused some delays on my part as well as system wide. I had a termite inspection performed along with the appraisal insp., before covid, I consider the person who performed the appraisal was neither ethical or professional. He claimed he had purchased several similar homes in this area and claimed to be an expert. He squawked a lead based paint on the trim of the detached garage. It was built in 2004. No detached garages were built with the homes constructed in 1967. So much for his expertise.

Rep was giving of his time, respectful, knowledgeable and overall a joy to work with. These folks know how to treat veterans and I appreciate that. Closing was quick and simple with no surprises at my kitchen table. Great experience, highly recommend.

The key to my 5 star rating was the outstanding service we received from Brianna ** who was the Newday contact during this process. She was so helpful and kept me calm during some issues that popped up. I have had other VA loans over the years since my active duty days and always had issues that sometimes could not be resolved. In this process they happened and were resolved. A minor water damage issue in the patio and carport showed up during the termite inspection, not the appraisal, but the no termites report, what the heck, I got it fixed. And I will never understand why the underwriter needed my 30 year old divorce decree from 1990 that of course I could not locate, and my ex being overseas for the past 20 years and who I have had zero contact with was an issue.

I would like to thank Craig ** for his help with me refinancing my mortgage. He explained everything and walked me through the whole process. He always called to keep me up to date with the process. He was very professional.

After speaking with a few VA refinance companies about a possible VA refinance, I settled on NewDay USA because NewDay was able to streamline my refinance without the extensive paperwork required by other companies. As a surviving military spouse, collecting these up to date documentation from the correct government agencies can take weeks. Instead, I was able to close on my new, lower-rate loan in a matter of weeks!

My loan officer/coordinator (Daniel **) was the best and most efficient that I have ever worked with and I have probably done 20 home loans in my life. We closed in just 18 days from the start date. He answered all of my questions immediately and provided multiple paths for communications. I heard Admiral Lynch speak at the Leesburg Veterans Day celebration and his speech made me comfortable with New Day. I applied immediately thereafter.

First of all, I have a credit score of 770.. I contacted NewDay because of their commitment to veterans. That said, our loan administrator for NewDay originally quoted me a 2.75% Interest loan giving all the facts and documents.. When I received the package for review, my interest rate not only increased to 3.79, but there was originating fees of $3,583 and 2% points of $7,166. These amounts where not originally disclosed when I submitted my application.. NewDay brags about no closing costs to veterans, but as you can see, they are misguiding the public. When I confronted the loan officer with these questions, no reasonable response was given. Needless to say, I went with another lender at a much better rate and no origination fees or points..

We wanted to refinance our mortgage (which was 3.875%) to a lower rate. We contacted New Day and received a rate of 2.25%. I was so relieved to speak to a well-spoken man without a foreign accent at New Day’s call center. I am retired from the military and have a severe hearing loss. The man, Brendan **, spoke clearly and went into great detail concerning our options. He called frequently to keep us informed on the new mortgage. We started the mortgage process around early to mid-November and closed on December 18.

This was the easiest refinance ever. I had absolutely zero problems and it was fast and easy. Most of the transactions was either email or on the phone. The Notary came to my house to finalize the paperwork. I highly recommend NewDay.

I contacted New Day on Monday (7 December) about refinancing my home. The agent on the phone was very helpful and guided me through the loan process. She keep me informed and was very responsive to my questions and needs. I had daily contact with the her and was able to close on 19 December. I am now saving $200 a month on my mortgage payment.

Hayden ** was a great help. He was courteous, kind, considerate and answered all my questions and emails with minimal delay. He's a keeper! Two critiques I have: 1: messages and paperwork regarding stopping my refi when in fact it was due to Yavapai county overload and getting my home out of the trust. I suggest all auto-generated messages first go through the agent for release since he would know the situation. 2: Mail and email keep coming suggesting I refi with New Day DURING the process and AFTER closing! Please include better filtering of mail and email. My inbox is full enough. All things considered, I have already recommended New Day USA to a veteran and they are running with you! Still further, I am also still waiting for a refund of nearly $3,000.00 from AMC Settlement Services for what was described as required escrow for taxes that were paid on 11-30-20 by my prior lender, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. It is completely unacceptable to be waiting over a month after closing with NewDay for funds to be returned to me!! As a USMC Infantry veteran, DAV, American Legion and Marine Corps League member, I can't tell you how dissatisfied I am with this entire process. I truly wish that I never, ever undertook this process with New Day!

Closing a refi in this format was a new experience for me. Have closed on refis and new homes, but always sitting in an office with a rep. Having said that, some of the steps involving signatures and returning electronically became a bit blurry during some of the stages. Likely my fault, however the reps might want to inquire your clients experience levels on the closings. Then proceed with the process with the knowledge of your customer’s expertise. Our experience with NewDay has been great. Our agent was extremely knowledgeable and responsive to our questions. Additional, he provided great customer service. The process was very fast and smooth. We are glad with our choices to use NewDay to refinance.

We had a few hiccups in the loan process. My original loan officer was "reassigned" and because of that, progress on my loan was delayed by almost a month. Contact with loan officer was infrequent and many times I would receive mail or email changes after discussing with my loan officer that was mistimed. My new loan officer was very helpful (Jesse), but it was frustrating during the delay. Currently awaiting my payment information so that I can make sure to pay my mortgage on the 1st of January.

Jake ** handled my application and was always very helpful and respectful responding to my questions and helping me thru the process for my loan. Phone calls were always returned in a timely manner and questions answered to my satisfaction.

Refinance my house. I was very happy with the service and I did refer a friend who got a loan too. My loan officer was very attentive to my needs. He was there whenever I called. I'm very happy and I plan on telling any veteran that I know.

At the end of October 2020 I reached out to this company and spoke to Mr. Mike **. Mr. ** was professional and knowledgeable and explained the refinancing process thoroughly so I decided to start the process of refinancing my home. The refinancing process was fast, smooth, flawless and exactly as Mr. ** explained it to me. Their website and loan application was very user-friendly. I closed on the refinancing loan last week at my home with a loan processor/notary who followed all COVID-19 protocols. I highly recommend this company to all veterans. Most of my dealings were with an agent named Ricardo **. He was friendly and when anything was needed from me or that I needed to review he was always on top of it. He would e-mail, call, or text about once a week just to let me know how things were going with my loan. When we were ready to go to closing he called and walked me through the process so I wouldn't get blindsided by anything. The NEW DAY process was streamlined and efficient. My loan representative, Ian, contacted us every few days to ensure the process was going smooth and provide status on our loan processing. We closed on time and in the comfort of our home. The notary was about an hour late, but the close was fast, taking about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend NEW DAY USA!

The process is a bit involved via internet, but it can be done. My case manager was very diligent and thorough and worked around my internet inabilities. I was patient and waited for my best rate. My advice is compare rates and pick a reputable company, like NewDayUSA.

I obtained my VA loan about 3 years ago, from a lending company at 4% rate. For several months, I had been receiving offers to ReFinance at 2.25% from banks all over the Country. I decided to ask my current lender what they could do, their best was 3.5%. I also had several offers from NewDay, so decided to call them. I was told that NewDay could refi at 2.25%, so I said OK, and started the process. It was done completely by phone and email. The process was short and sweet, closing was at my home on Nov 30, by Notary sent by NewDay.

There were a couple of hiccups and definitely not the smoothest refi I have done, but everything in the end turned out okay. The first person I dealt with did not seem to want to do the refinance and he actually terminated the application (I didn't know that until Andrew had called and asked why I had stopped the process, which I told Andrew that I did not; I just never heard back from, I think his name was Hakeem). I had figured Newday wasn't interested in doing a refi for me. Andrew did finish it...not as smooth as the VA refinance I had done a couple of times with Quicken Loans, but was still able to get done.

Felt like our rate could have been lower. We were getting offers for a rate of 2.25 but when I ask about a lower rate, I was told that 2.75 was the best they could do. No explanation as why. My husband wanted to go with New Day because they catered to veterans but I feel like they could have done better on the rate.

If you can do it now, I would appreciate you emailing me the Website that I can access to set up an automatic payment from my bank for my monthly mortgage payment. If the loan # is different than the one on my closing document, please email me that also.

The loan process was great even though we ran into title problems but not NewDay's fault. Anthony was fast and efficient at clearing the issue up... He kept me up to date on everything and always returned my calls. Would definitely 100 percent recommend.

Everyone has published a 2.25 interest and I trusted New Day enough to choose them. However the rate was 2.65 and I'm not sure why. The process did proceed quickly and the closing was simple. I presume the payoff was made but have not received confirmation.

From my initial contact with NewDay rep Robert ** until closing was literally less than 30 days. I was able to reduce my interest rate by a full percentage point, leading to a much smaller payment, and I did so with no out of pocket cost to me. Rob was professional and helpful through out the process, and I can honestly say this was the easiest mortgage experience I've ever had.

Let me start by stating, this has been the most difficult process I've ever experienced and can't in good faith recommend NewDay to any of my family or friends in the future. Here's a few items (not in any particular order) I experienced that did not go well:

The process started off a little slow as I initially stopped the loan as I had not heard of NewDay USA and switched to another lender. After they really screwed up big time I came back to NewDay USA and was pleased with how it went with the exception of keeping me in the loop. When you don't have somebody local and you are dealing with an entity you don't really know, it is hard to see what is happening. My contact Jesse James ** responded to me very well when I left messages which helped me through everything.
