The service I received from Alec ** was absolutely outstanding!! It only took about 1-2 days to approved mortgage. He coordinated closely with the Real Estate Agents, so everything worked smoothly, no problems. It took about two weeks from start to finish and buy house....

From the initial phone call to the final signing, it was effortless! They called weekly,, with updates and told you, the next step. I refinanced, twice with another company before this one. It was a complete hassle. They were very pushy. (Nothing like refinancing for your house, at 10pm at a chicken plant parking lot!) I wish I would have found you guys, first! Thank you!

This process was not entered into lightly as we had a home loan and after moving around for 23 yrs in the military we were battle weary about forms and documents, people getting into our accounts again. New Day took the trepidations away. Joshua, our account manager and the whole team at New Day made this a seamless transition from our existing loan to one we can actually live with and rely on. So everybody get on board. These guys are great. From actually explaining the terms and paperwork and making that old paper shuffle way easy won me over. They handled the contacts and payoff for the old lender without a hitch. I didn’t even have to talk to them. What a great experience this has been for my wife and I.

We had a few hiccups in the loan process. My original loan officer was "reassigned" and because of that, progress on my loan was delayed by almost a month. Contact with loan officer was infrequent and many times I would receive mail or email changes after discussing with my loan officer that was mistimed. My new loan officer was very helpful (Jesse), but it was frustrating during the delay. Currently awaiting my payment information so that I can make sure to pay my mortgage on the 1st of January.

First time using this company. A friend and fellow veteran refinanced her home a couple of months ago and told me she had a great experience so I decided to give it a try. At the end of October 2020 I reached out to this company and spoke to Mr. Mike **. Mr. ** was professional and knowledgeable and explained the refinancing process thoroughly so I decided to start the process of refinancing my home. The refinancing process was fast, smooth, flawless and exactly as Mr. ** explained it to me. Their website and loan application was very user-friendly. I closed on the refinancing loan last week at my home with a loan processor/notary who followed all COVID-19 protocols. I highly recommend this company to all veterans. They understand and are responsive to our needs.

Most of my dealings were with an agent named Ricardo **. He was friendly and when anything was needed from me or that I needed to review he was always on top of it. He would e-mail, call, or text about once a week just to let me know how things were going with my loan. When we were ready to go to closing he called and walked me through the process so I wouldn't get blindsided by anything. Ben ** was our go-to person through the whole process, He was very professional and efficient and kept us posted through the whole process. Excellent customer service with Ben! I would recommend New Day to any Veteran! Saving us 260.00 a month on our payment and was able to get a 2.25% rate for our new loan.

I was impressed with the determination of NewDay to win my business. The person I worked with was nothing but polite, professional and displayed a high degree of flexibility to work with me. Everything appears to be okay but it took so very long going through the checking me out. I think this may be because of co-vid *19 or just the state of New Jersey. The NEW DAY process was streamlined and efficient. My loan representative, Ian, contacted us every few days to ensure the process was going smooth and provide status on our loan processing. We closed on time and in the comfort of our home. The notary was about an hour late, but the close was fast, taking about 30 minutes. I would definitely recommend NEW DAY USA!

The process is a bit involved via internet, but it can be done. My case manager was very diligent and thorough and worked around my internet inabilities. I was patient and waited for my best rate. My advice is compare rates and pick a reputable company, like NewDayUSA.

I obtained my VA loan about 3 years ago, from a lending company at 4% rate. For several months, I had been receiving offers to ReFinance at 2.25% from banks all over the Country. I decided to ask my current lender what they could do, their best was 3.5%. I also had several offers from NewDay, so decided to call them. I was told that NewDay could refi at 2.25%, so I said OK, and started the process. It was done completely by phone and email. The process was short and sweet, closing was at my home on Nov 30, by Notary sent by NewDay.

There were a couple of hiccups and definitely not the smoothest refi I have done, but everything in the end turned out okay. The first person I dealt with did not seem to want to do the refinance and he actually terminated the application (I didn't know that until Andrew had called and asked why I had stopped the process, which I told Andrew that I did not; I just never heard back from, I think his name was Hakeem). I had figured Newday wasn't interested in doing a refi for me. Andrew did finish it...not as smooth as the VA refinance I had done a couple of times with Quicken Loans, but was still able to get done.

Felt like our rate could have been lower. We were getting offers for a rate of 2.25 but when I ask about a lower rate, I was told that 2.75 was the best they could do. No explanation as why. My husband wanted to go with New Day because they catered to veterans but I feel like they could have done better on the rate.

The Agent (Phillip Bradley **) that serviced my loan was terrific. He promptly responded to all my questions and was extremely helpful. If possible, give him a raise. If you can do it now, I would appreciate you emailing me the Website that I can access to set up an automatic payment from my bank for my monthly mortgage payment. If the loan # is different than the one on my closing document, please email me that also.

The loan process was great even though we ran into title problems but not NewDay's fault. Anthony was fast and efficient at clearing the issue up... He kept me up to date on everything and always returned my calls. Would definitely 100 percent recommend.

Everyone has published a 2.25 interest and I trusted New Day enough to choose them. However the rate was 2.65 and I'm not sure why. The process did proceed quickly and the closing was simple. I presume the payoff was made but have not received confirmation.

From my initial contact with NewDay rep Robert ** until closing was literally less than 30 days. I was able to reduce my interest rate by a full percentage point, leading to a much smaller payment, and I did so with no out of pocket cost to me. Rob was professional and helpful through out the process, and I can honestly say this was the easiest mortgage experience I've ever had.

Let me start by stating, this has been the most difficult process I've ever experienced and can't in good faith recommend NewDay to any of my family or friends in the future. Here's a few items (not in any particular order) I experienced that did not go well:
1) My Loan Specialist (Reece **) was “NEVER” available by telephone along the way. I would call his desk number and/or cell number but “NEVER” once did I ever speak with him on my initial call. I’m the type of person who believes communication goes both ways. I would always have to leave a message and/or email and eventually receive a call sometimes several hours later or the next day.
2) My solar was to be included in the home loan and instructions were sent from the solar company to New Day on specific cost and wiring instructions. After signing all the closing documents, it was discovered New Day did not include the $350 recording fee in addition to the purchase of the solar panels. Therefore, in order to not have the loan be short funded, I had to wire the $350 out of pocket to the solar company to prevent this from happening.
3) We started this loan process on August 31st, 2020 and I can’t even count the times the closing date changed. I was initially informed we would close at the beginning of Oct, but that did not happen. Again, I was informed we would close at the end of Oct, but that did not happen. This became very frustrating, as I did not know when we would close. I was informed we were waiting on the processors, etc.
4) I received a payoff check directly for the solar payoff from the title company, when in fact it should have been wired to the solar company directly. I had to attempt to reach the title company and explain what happened, and they put a stop on the check. The next day they wired the funding to the solar company.
5) I felt throughout this process I was doing a good majority of the leg work, but yet was paying New Day for the loan. As an example, I was informed that if I want to speed up the process, I should contact my bank and get payoff letters. I did, as I wanted to put all this behind me, and ended up paying another $60 out of pocket. Additionally, I was told the same thing with the solar cost, requiring me to get the information. Isn’t that what I paid New Day to do for me?
6) I received a call from the New Day processing that they need to speak with my bank and me on the line to verify payoff’s. No problem the first time, but I actually ended up doing it multiple times for the same information.

The process started off a little slow as I initially stopped the loan as I had not heard of NewDay USA and switched to another lender. After they really screwed up big time I came back to NewDay USA and was pleased with how it went with the exception of keeping me in the loop. When you don't have somebody local and you are dealing with an entity you don't really know, it is hard to see what is happening. My contact Jesse James ** responded to me very well when I left messages which helped me through everything.

Very pleased with the service! Justin ** was very professional and efficient. The web pages made the application for the loan very fast and the electronic signing was great. I went to CA to meet my newest granddaughter and Justin arranged for the notary to meet me there to sign the paperwork. Appreciated the waiver of the appraisal. The only thing that would have made the experience better was if the loan origination fee was waived. My oldest son works for a company in CA that waives that fee.

Cody was great getting me started with the process. The day I closed my loan no one from Newday contacted me to congratulate me or address any concerns. Honestly, I was skeptical of NewDay USA. I thought my big bank I have used for everything since joining and getting out of the Navy would be the best option. NewDayUSA has a less complicated method for processing refinancing applications than I have ever experienced previously. Prior to NewDay I financed my house with Quicken Loans, which is more likened to a three ring circus. They change who you communicate with multiple times and are more confusing than decisive. This procedure extends the time and the number of communications needed. NewDay is better organized.

I initially applied for a refi and then decided I would get a new home loan. I quickly found out that your personnel know very little about the process. Your staff called my employer 5 times to verify my employment and actually asked him "What are the chances of you firing him in the future"? I had applied at another lending organization before applying to Newday, who said they would lock in my rate to not go up but they would lower my rate if rates dropped. The rates did drop but the lender said nothing so I asked and they explained that the rates had actually gone up. That is why I came to Newday where I got a lower rate. The rates dropped while my loan was processing at Newday. I think the drop to market rate should be your policy except do it for real, not fake, no lies. Notary gave incorrect instruction to initial a document containing no instruction for signature causing delay. VA requirement for reinspection following distant passage of tropical storm Aally caused further delay.. Requirement to perform much of process electronically annoying to computer challenged 80 year old suffering two years frustration from hurricane Matthew and Covid-19 mandated social behavior. TV marketing by New Day suggests and/or promises an easy process. I have bought and sold a home in New Zealand and several homes in the US which were easier than this refinance.

The loan process is neither easy nor quick and is nothing like the New Day advertising. The initial paperwork is always required but after several weeks we went through a cycle of "we need one more document." The loan administrator did not keep up with us. The final closing electronic signature requirements were not usable as the the closer/notary never got access to the documents.

The way the closing was performed left questions. You're asked to sign a pre-audit knowing it was going to change before it was final. Also, I know I accepted the terms (costs) but after the fact it should not cost (rounding up) $10,000.00 to do a simple streamline VA Refinance for a 100% disabled combat related Veteran. There is a discount that the Loan officer was asked to request on our title fees. Because he lacks experience, he failed to ask for the discount being afraid it would be a problem. By the time I knew he hadn't asked for the discount, which cost us hundreds of dollars.

Our experience with the refinance process through NewDay was very good. Josh ** took our information over the phone, checked out credit rating and completed the application with my one call to NewDay. The whole process was quick and easy and the loan was completed in a few weeks.

Started refinance program on 15 July 2020. Took until 8 October 2020 to complete the the procedure. Started the process with one representative and then out of nowhere another representative took over. When asking the new rep a question, I would get I have no control over what the other rep told you. After everything had been submitted I was told that the VA was not approving any new refinances due to wildfires. Contacted numerous VA offices and was told that was not true. Upon further discussions it was stated that it was the lender and not the VA that was not processing refinance requests. Was told I would receive via mail a copy of the house appraisal and a copy of the appraisal bill. Have not received either. Overall somewhat dissatisfied with experience.

Working with NewDay was such a pleasant experience. Eugene was by far the most amazing person, knowledgeable and kind. The process, from my first inquiry until closing day, was seamless and free of stress! We were able to reduce our monthly payment by approximately $200 by reducing the interest rate by 1.5%. My loan officer, David **, was extraordinary. He made sure that all my questions were answered fully and kept in constant communication with me. As a first time home buyer I felt like I was in the best hands possible. Our realtor, Alyse with Real Estate One, was phenomenal. Alyse showed us every home we thought we might be slightly interested in. She also let us know as soon as something hit the market that she thought we might like. I couldn’t ask for a better realtor. Overall I was blown away by my experience with NewDay USA. I plan on telling everyone that asks how great my experience with them was. And if I’m ever in the market again I know where I’ll be inquiring.

The process of obtaining the refinance was quick and easy. However, I feel that there should have been more contact, either verbal or electronically on the processing and progress of the loan. The loan has been closed for 2 weeks and I have not yet had any correspondence from NewDay. I have no contact numbers or email addresses to contact anyone for potential problems specifically for making online payments and for the payment of my due insurance and tax bills. Puts one on edge. Not feeling very comfortable about now.

I am please to have a smaller rate for my home loan. You save me a lot of money. I hope that you may be able to help others that are in need for a smaller rate for their home loans. IN these hard times people are being laid off or fired, we needs to catch a break now and then.

Saving the money on straight interest cost is the best, nothing feels better than keeping money in my account, it was a nice way to say goodbye to Wells Fargo. The process was fast and easy. Not much going back and forth. Sent what was asked for and it was wrapped quickly.

I have been seeing the NewDay USA ads for some time and have been looking at homes in the area I was interested in buying. After over a year I decided to get prequalified and went to the NewDay USA website and within a short time after entering initial information, I was contacted By Alec **. He has been awesome, he put me in touch with the consultant, who then matched us up with our realtor Caprice **. NewDay USA has made the entire experience enjoyable, I would highly recommend them to any Veteran looking to purchase a home.

Fairly easy to apply - MUCH quicker than the first Mortgage was (different company) to secure. Sorta anxious on the waiting for approval (I imagine there were many, many applicants) but it finally came thru. Add 2 to 3 weeks more than their anticipated closing date.

Jay ** was amazing! Everything was professional and fast. Returned calls within minutes! Explained everything. The only issue I had which is no fault to NewDay is the notary was a bit rude. That was our only issue with the whole process. Everything else was simple and quick (32 days!)

Got the rate that I wanted (2.25%). This did take some effort. I explained upfront that my intention was to pay off mortgage by retirement age. I was currently in a 20 year mortgage and only interested in a 15 year refi. I was pitched a 30 year refi as the "only possible way to reduce payments". I had done the math and already knew better. It all ended up working out as I intended.

I wish I had never refinanced with New Day. I was quoted a lower closing cost rate and other fees which was complete lies. Also, I was told by new day that I would get a refund of money in escrow from my previous lender and seems they are giving me the run around. That was one reason I did the refi. Overall experience with you is disappointing.

This was a very easy process. I think it took less than 30 days. I was able to save $250 per month, but this was due mostly in part to having the 30 year fixed. I have never had to pay for points before and it didn't drop me past my 3.25 % that I already had. It is OK, I will just put this on the principal and still pay off faster. Thank you New Day.

Whole experience was handled professionally. The process was easy and quickly done. Closing at home was very convenient. Funding could have been a little faster. However, we closed on a Saturday - funding was received the following Friday. I would have preferred a direct deposit. Instead they overnighted a check. All in all - a great experience.

Process couldn't have been more seamless and expeditious. Mr. Jay ** walked us throughout the entire process, answered all our questions on the spot and belayed any concerns we had. The entire process went as though it was only a couple of weeks. Jay kept us up to speed at all times. The interest rate we got for a refinance was most excellent. And, to be sure, Tatiana and her TV presentation was the one reason I chose NewDay USA. I emailed and left a voice mail for Kyle ** who returned neither. I called customer service and was told that you had sold my loan. I was never contacted by your company about this. I understand you can do it but it is how you do it that is important.. In my opinion New Day is no better than the predatory loan companies that live outside bases. The Admiral should have his rank and Navy credentials taken away for being a stain on veterans. I will never recommend this company to anyone.
Transferring of loan servicing are common in the mortgage industry. The transfer will not affect any of the terms and conditions of your mortgage loan other than terms directly related to the servicing of the loan, such as where you send your payment. We apologize for any confusion this may have caused.

While the experience wasn’t all bad, improvement can be made in responding back when messages is left. At no time when I make a call there is any answer, and when I leave a message it takes days before I can get a response. Communicating more effectively will surely put someone at ease to feel like they are making the right decision in choosing your company to do business.

This is our fault, we did not do our own due diligence, so hopefully, you will read this and do yours. NEWDAY USA was the worst experience for us. They took all of our personal information and then disappeared for more than 10 days. No response to e-mails, no return calls, nothing. We provided them with all of our personal information to refinance only to have them disappear. Don't believe us? Go to the BBB website and look at the number of complaints against them. Don't be stupid like us, find a better company to do business with.
