New Day was great to work with. There are many companies out there pushing refinancing and I’m sure they’re good to work with but my experience with New Day was quick, easy, and their representative was very helpful in the process...which was simple and painless. I would certainly recommend New Day if you are considering a home refinance. Thank you!

New Day representative have been very helpful in helping me through the entire process of refinancing my mortgage to a lower interest rate which resulted in monthly savings of over $200. The representative is polite and very responsive to my questions in timely fashion. I highly recommend New Day USA to veterans.

Was a fast easy process and lowered my interest rate by three points, very pleased. Representative was courteous and professional and was patient with me for sending required documents. Recommended to a friend in Arkansas, who applied for a mortgage and in process of acquiring a home.

We had a change of service reps in the middle of the process. This slowed things down a bit but after the new rep took over things went much faster. We really appreciated the effort to keep us informed during the process and the patient assistance in navigating the required forms. Kudos to Mr J.P. ** for his help!

I had an outstanding experience with NewDay USA. Tia ** of NewDay was very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. The entire process only took three weeks from start to finish. Everything was accomplished electronically except for the final closing at which time they sent an attorney to my home with all the paperwork for me to sign. Having dealt with previous mortgage companies, both on new mortgages and refinancing, I was prepared for the "Waterboarding" exercise where you have to prove the existence of every single penny you have ever earned or saved. Dealing with NewDay was the complete opposite. They asked for relevant, current data, and only requested what was minimally required/reasonable. The agent who helped me was courteous, professional, trained, efficient and timely. He returned my calls immediately. Documents were filled in correctly and details were accurate. They made the process painless and straightforward.

The loan officer was inexperienced at best. He had little knowledge of the entire loan process. Many deadlines passed interest rate locks expired due to his lack of insight of when processes needed to take place. Even though it was their fault they wouldn't honor promised interest rates. I've never had to jump through so many hoops for a loan before because I have good credit. There was continued requests for the same documentation even though they already had it. I would give them zero stars if that were allowed!

A pleasure to deal with this company. Our rep was both knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. Most things were done on-line from the application to providing most documents. I was surprised at how quickly we were able to go from applying to funding in a relatively short time frame.

The re-finance was very long and complicated! I had to sign more than 100 papers and the process was too long! I have bought and sold 7 houses in my lifetime and this was by far the most complicated experience I have ever had!!!

We were very happy with all the processes that were handle very good during these trying times except the last step. We thought at first all the balance we were consolidating would be payoff straight away by NewDay. But we were informed that we would receive the checks to pay off the balances & that they were all ready to go straight in the mailbox. Well, the checks were sent overnight express by FedEx last Friday night around 9pm, we got them yesterday around 11am.

Did have a slight glitch in getting all the required signatures submitted but NewDay personnel ensure prompt assistance to close by the required date. We were very please with the friendly and professional service we received from the NewDay team. Thank you.

The process took 6 months to complete because prior to closing we endured 2 serious hurricanes. We sustained serious damages and it took months dealing with insurance, inspections, FEMA, and finally repairs. Paperwork was also difficult to get from another lending company. This loan has taken over 3 months to process and as of today monies have not been sent to USAA and Regions Bank to pay off my loans. As of today I had to make another payment on my old loan to keep them from reporting me to the credit bureau for Late payment and A late fee of $55.01 was charged as well. I answered every request from Brandon my processor. I was told the loan would be closed last Week And it was not done. If I had to go thru this again I would go with another lender. Went with you because I was waiting for your arm to be put around us as advertised. Both of us had over a 850 credit score so all the hoops you had us jump thru were unnecessary. I feel you should return my late fee of $55.01 and the additional interest that has accrued for the last two weeks.

Jacob ** kept me updated throughout the process and for you veterans who have had your loans “sold” numerous times, NewDay will not sell your loan and that alone should make you want to let them earn your business. The process was easy and we closed 10 days earlier than our original date. I am also saving $400.00 a month, (that’s real money) so if you are thinking of financing or refinancing give Jacob a call.

Nothing to say. What happen to we help vet. Not to mention I was approve for Loan but the agent was not truthful with me. Time after time I was told one thing then another # of times. Not to mention the time it took to complete loan.

I want to personally tell you that Account Executive Jesse Hy ** is a phenomenal asset to your team. I really do appreciate the professionalism that Xavier exhibited throughout this whole refinancing process. He not only kept me informed step by step, but was very patient with me as I provided the required documentation(s). The entire process was very smooth, except for the account payoff. It took six days after we signed the closing paperwork for the funding to make it to my current mortgage account. With the research and putting that faith and trust in a "veteran help" program And the Honorable Admiral being in my mailbox a few times every week I made the important decision to respect authority and here I am. The gentleman whom I dealt with (Eugene **) was extra helpful to help me understand and his/the information given to me was correct. He even received my joking as it was intended. I am very glad that I made the decision to use New Day USA as my partner in the refinancing process..

As you know, if you have a VA loan you are being swamped with streamline refinance offers from every lender. Well, I started down the refinance road last October with another major lender but I became so jaded with the process, I withdrew before the loan closed. Why? Well, I don’t like being handed from agent to agent as the process moved along, especially when each of these agents had a little different interpretation of the costs. It was kinda like playing poker when the other player is turning up one new card every other day. I don’t like surprises when I transact a home mortgage - do you? Surprises like...."Oh, yes we need a “drive by” appraisal"...."Oh yes, send us last years income tax records," "Oh yes, you’ll need to bring out-of-pocket cash to closing," etc. when I made it known that I was not happy with these surprises, I was (once again) handed off to the “closer” who tried to hound me into going ahead with their loan.

I like the APR rate that I received and Kyle was very prompt in delivering everything necessary to ensure a successful closing. I'm so happy that I will be able to save a nice amount of money each month. I was a little skeptical at first but everything worked out to my benefit. Thank you.

I found the process more difficult than advertised as we had our home in a trust for the purposes of protecting our investment in case of our death. I had to go through filing a quit claim deed to transfer which turned out to be a tone consuming hassle. Was this really necessary?

Our agent was Mr. Paul **. From the very start to end he was very professional, never hesitated to answer any question we may have had. Mr. ** kept us up to date in every detail by e-mail or phone, We could not have ask for any better service than we received.

My experience with the analyst was pleasant and he was able to get the refinance done in a reasonable amount of time with little or no unexpected problems that would have made any difference in the final outcome. I would consider the overall experience very pleasant.

I truly wish I could give NewDay USA more than a 2-star rating, however our home buying experience was incredibly stressful brought on by their underwriting department who are so difficult to work with. They offer nothing to the process except to say it is a VA requirement. I as the client provided them document after document showing them where they were wrong in their assessment of VA policy which went nowhere. So, my recommendation is if you are buying a home and there is a question whether you need flood insurance make sure what the requirements are up front, three (3) days before closing I had to purchase flood insurance which pushed my closing dated back. Oh, by the way there is no way to contact the leadership from the website. If I could rate my Account Executive and my Account Processor separately, I would give the Five (5) stars.

During the loan process, the home appraisal component moved very slowly. The appraisal was ordered on 12/1/2020 and was signed by the appraiser on 12/8/2020. However, the loan did not move to the "In Processing" component of the loan until 1/11/2021. In my opinion it way too long to move that phase of the overall process. Other than that loan representatives were very courteous and always able to answer questions.

Communication with New Day was spotty and inconsistent. He didn't always contact us when he said he would, including the day before the closing - the was disappointing. We always completed the documents in the online portal within minutes of receiving the, but he didn't seem to know that and would call and ask us to complete them. On the upside, all of the details of the refinancing were consistent and there were no surprises or changes. The terms of the financing were very good and will save us money in the long term. The best side was that we did not need to leave our house for the closing. A notary came to us complete all of the paperwork.

After a short time my wife and I were preapproved for a home loan and started the home purchasing process. Throughout the process, I was very impressed with Kyle. In short the loan experience thanks to Kyle exceeded my expectations!

I had to pay out of pocket 93 dollars for a termite inspection when you advertise no out of pocket cost. I was asked to get documents that I feel your company should have been able to get causing me a lot of running around. The job got done so I am happy about that but it was costly.

New Day refi specialist were simply wrong every step in our simple and straightforward refi. The specialist provided inaccurate information numerous times and caused my wife and I several unnecessary challenges. We had to take control and follow a trust but verify approach when we expected far better service. Our experience was in no way what was expected based on New Day advertising. Very disappointed!

Overall my experience with New Day was good. I did have a couple of problems that I consider were due to a lack of training. First my loan application started Nov. 2019. I was hospitalized with covid during most of April, so that caused some delays on my part as well as system wide. I had a termite inspection performed along with the appraisal insp., before covid, I consider the person who performed the appraisal was neither ethical or professional. He claimed he had purchased several similar homes in this area and claimed to be an expert. He squawked a lead based paint on the trim of the detached garage. It was built in 2004. No detached garages were built with the homes constructed in 1967. So much for his expertise.

Rep was giving of his time, respectful, knowledgeable and overall a joy to work with. These folks know how to treat veterans and I appreciate that. Closing was quick and simple with no surprises at my kitchen table. Great experience, highly recommend.

The key to my 5 star rating was the outstanding service we received from Brianna ** who was the Newday contact during this process. She was so helpful and kept me calm during some issues that popped up. I have had other VA loans over the years since my active duty days and always had issues that sometimes could not be resolved. In this process they happened and were resolved. A minor water damage issue in the patio and carport showed up during the termite inspection, not the appraisal, but the no termites report, what the heck, I got it fixed. And I will never understand why the underwriter needed my 30 year old divorce decree from 1990 that of course I could not locate, and my ex being overseas for the past 20 years and who I have had zero contact with was an issue.

First of all, I have a credit score of 770.. I contacted NewDay because of their commitment to veterans. That said, our loan administrator for NewDay originally quoted me a 2.75% Interest loan giving all the facts and documents.. When I received the package for review, my interest rate not only increased to 3.79, but there was originating fees of $3,583 and 2% points of $7,166. These amounts where not originally disclosed when I submitted my application.. NewDay brags about no closing costs to veterans, but as you can see, they are misguiding the public. When I confronted the loan officer with these questions, no reasonable response was given. Needless to say, I went with another lender at a much better rate and no origination fees or points..

I was so relieved to speak to a well-spoken man without a foreign accent at New Day’s call center. I am retired from the military and have a severe hearing loss. The man, Brendan **, spoke clearly and went into great detail concerning our options. He called frequently to keep us informed on the new mortgage. We started the mortgage process around early to mid-November and closed on December 18.

This was the easiest refinance ever. I had absolutely zero problems and it was fast and easy. Most of the transactions was either email or on the phone. The Notary came to my house to finalize the paperwork. I highly recommend NewDay.

I contacted New Day on Monday (7 December) about refinancing my home. The agent on the phone was very helpful and guided me through the loan process. She keep me informed and was very responsive to my questions and needs. I had daily contact with the her and was able to close on 19 December. I am now saving $200 a month on my mortgage payment.

Two critiques I have: 1: messages and paperwork regarding stopping my refi when in fact it was due to Yavapai county overload and getting my home out of the trust. Still further, I am also still waiting for a refund of nearly $3,000.00 from AMC Settlement Services for what was described as required escrow for taxes that were paid on 11-30-20 by my prior lender, Wells Fargo Home Mortgage. It is completely unacceptable to be waiting over a month after closing with NewDay for funds to be returned to me!! As a USMC Infantry veteran, DAV, American Legion and Marine Corps League member, I can't tell you how dissatisfied I am with this entire process. I truly wish that I never, ever undertook this process with New Day!

Closing a refi in this format was a new experience for me. Have closed on refis and new homes, but always sitting in an office with a rep. Having said that, some of the steps involving signatures and returning electronically became a bit blurry during some of the stages.
