NewDay USA Reviews

This company is really for Veterans and not just saying it to get a bunch of secured VA loans. They work with you and pay for your appraisal and termite inspections (if needed). They are willing to allow you to borrow up to the total value of your house where other companies only allow 90%. They provide upfront information on the loan and ways with the freed-up disposal cash in which you can pay you mortgage off faster. Not to mention they keep you in the know when interest rates decline and will reach out to you when it is beneficial if you choose to refinance at a lower rate. Second time homeowner and by far the best experience in dealing with a VA lender. I don't see me ever switching lenders.

Lionel ** was fantastic! From the very first phone call he professionally and thoroughly walked us through from beginning to end. All went very well and Jesse was extremely helpful. The process was very simple and easy. I would recommend NewDay to anyone that is looking to finance or re-finance their home. The entire process was very well explained and Jesse was always available to answer any questions that I had. I would be interested in re-financing when lower rates are available to take advantage of the lower rates and when it makes sense for me to do so.

It was mostly very good service. The area I wish you could improve would be your title company (they wanted us to have a form filled out that would of just put name back in her name for some reason. Had to drive an hour to have our clerk of court telling us no need and won’t do it.), then the other item is for well water. I wish they would of had us flush before the first test. Closing was Great!! Overall very Good. Thank You.

Process was very easy. It was excellent service. Got all my bills paid and money left over for me and my wife. They took care of everything like appraisal, termite inspection and closing. We closed at home, where they sent a notary to sign the papers. Matt was extremely nice and very helping in the process. I would recommend NEW DAY to anyone.

The first home I attempted to purchase came back with a lower appraisal than the asking price. Luckily I found a new home being constructed and was able to extend my time due to it being new construction. New Day was very helpful and expedient with things that needed to happen.

Process was fairly quick and very simple. Daniel ** was superb and I would definitely recommend your service to other veterans due to his great work. We had to refinance and giving up our previous interest rate of 2.75% was difficult but I understand 7.99% is very good for this current economy.

Entire process was great with professional dealings and easy to process the information needed to complete. The representatives were experienced and easy to work with and answered all question. Let’s see. I had to call to have my house appraised. You should of called the appraiser not me And I had to call him again because you didn’t put the right info in the report. Then you messed up the insurance and I had to call them to fix it. All of this delayed my closing by two and a half weeks. And I had to call the notary. These thing should of been done by your team. If I hadn’t gone so far I would of backed out.

Easiest process ever to follow and close! Employees were so helpful and knowledgeable. They made the entire process easy. When I had questions, they were there to answer immediately. All I had to do was pick up the phone. You all are amazing, taking something so complicated and turned it into one of the best experiences of my life! Thank you!!

The entire home purchase experience was perfect. We were kept informed every step of the way. And from start to finish was less than a month total. Our realtor even said she has never seen a home purchase go this quickly and zero issues. The seller has his money within 2 hours of closing, so needless to say he was extremely happy as well.

Easiest experience with a mortgage lender ever. Fastest ever less than a month. They understand veterans and how disability works. My contact Anthony ** was amazing always available and eager to help or just assure me that everything was going smoothly. I have read some not-so-good reviews and I can’t relate at all. Anyone who asks me will receive my full recommendation.

2 disabled vets with perfect credit looking for help. Hard earned $3,800.00 to "buy down" to an interest rate that anyone could get or gotten. Double pay on homeowners insurance. Sorry Admiral but we will no longer believe your tv ads. We and other vets actually fell for the idea that Newday was different. We start with an approval for $425,000,and by closing we can barely squeak by for the requested $200,000. I am sure you have sold our loan to some other company by now so your people can move on to the next trusting soul. If the Admiral ever reads this and I doubt he will, I would be disappointed if he was not surprised.

Andrew was the best he kept me informed of where we were at and when he got what I sent him. I couldn't have asked for a better person I have refinanced once before. Kyle ** and his team at NewDay, to include the underwriting team, are simply the best. Kyle was always professional, courteous, and patient as we took the time we needed to find the right house. James ** was very polite and courteous as well as professional during our process, however through no fault of his, we were getting frustrated regarding our water testing. We ended up spending $500 of our own out of pocket money in getting our testing done. Just 2 years ago when we worked with you, there was no issue at all. This time our second test was good, but wasn't accepted because I personally took the sample. It's too bad that homeowners today can't be trusted due to obvious bad actors out there. This just drew the process out much longer than it could have been.

Ellis was prompt and very helpful, kept us informed! The process and simple and quick. Only issue was when Ellis was on vacation, his supervisor let things slide for a week. It was not a huge problem as it just slowed things done and closing took longer. We are happy with the process.

My Wife and I are thrilled with the experience we had with New Day. Both Evan or Trevor were with us almost every day keeping us informed or seeing if there was anything they could do for us. The appraisal was professional and the closing was efficient. We would highly recommend New Day's VA assistance to anyone.

Overall performance was satisfactory. My only issue was the closing. I did a cash out on equity. Instead of updating balances on payoffs right before closing, payoffs were sent based on credit report at the beginning. I made 3 payments on each account BEFORE the closing. If the payments had been updated, I would not have made any overpayments. Just a recommendation. Makes things a lot easier for the customer.

Brandon ** made the entire process so easy. He kept us updated regularly and was always available when we had a question. We definitely recommend your company to anyone and especially veterans that need a home loan. We were pleasantly surprised to learn our home was worth so much more than we imagined so we could get the money to do more remodeling than we initially intended. Now we can bring our home to a more comfortable level than we've had these 29 years.

I have gone through the mortgage process a couple of times before and it was always painful. Not with NewDay. My account representative Stuart was there at each step, communicating clearly where we are in the process. The processor Kristin was amazing. Friendly and professional. She made you feel like more than just a client. The “cash buyer” certificate gives you real firepower in negotiations. We closed in less than a month. Bottom line- if you need a VA loan, look no further than NewDay. Few are as good and none are better.

It was a overall pleasant experience with exception of the lack of transparency. I had issues with checks being issued to cover the credit card debt. I took offense during signing due to the comments made by the agent. I wanted to have my portion deposited in my account but due to the lack of pertinent information I was unprepared.

My experience with New Day was very delightful. My Agent, Joshua ** was very pleasant to work with and was excellent in communicating with me throughout the process. His excellent customer service skills were commendable. I would recommend others who are looking to refinance their mortgage to use New Day LLC.

Your Reps are good, but it's evident they handle too many accounts at once. It makes them slow to respond to email and voice calls. When you have to wait 2 days for a response, if they respond at all it is a problem. My case was processed and is complete and I appreciate that, but it was not a seamless process.

Good job overall. Easiest refi we've ever done without all the nonsense that usually goes along with one. Only issue - hard to get in contact with him sometimes. You guys take out a rather huge amount for your cut if the refi amount ($36K+). All persons - Colton, Appraiser, Closer, Termite guy were very professional. Mnus one star because Colton hard to contact sometimes. Maybe you keep him too busy.

New Day financial and the staff made this process so simple from start to finish. The approval process was thorough and complete. This part of the process was quickly completed. When I decided to purchase a home the market was slow and the inventory of homes for sale in the areas I was looking was not in abundance. My experience with Julian was flawless! Everything was dealt with far above & beyond my expectations!! Throughout this, very little was expected & he answered any & all questions I had! Cody ** done a great job as our loan officer. Cody was patient, respectful,and knew his job very well. He was always concerned that we understood what we were signing. We even ask him in a few days before closing to add additional money to our loan, he never flinched same Cody as above.

Ashton and Morgan were both completely transparent and honest throughout this whole process. I really appreciated the fact that they both made accommodations to fit my busy schedule. The only time we talked on the phone was when it was absolutely necessary. I think the staff at New Day I worked with tried to help as much as they could. They were honest and forthright with all my questions. Whenever I called Gabby with a question she always responded as soon as possible. There is a time lag between the East and West Coast so sometimes it was the next morning but she always contacted me.

Zachary was my account rep and was with all of the way. He answered all my questions and I feel he gave me good advice, he was excellent. His assistant was also very professional and helpful. I compliment Newday on their staff.

It would have been nice if I would have gotten a call informing me my cash back had change. (Went down.) Didn’t find out until day of closing. Completely unexpected. Was expecting what I was told. Had to redo a lot of plans that were made.

The company you use to disperse checks is not a reputable company according to Chase Bank, Advantage credit card for now. Chase put a 10 day hold on the check advantage credit card. Has placed a hold on the account until check clears. Perhaps you should just wire the money Instead of checks! Are we in the dark ages.

The whole process was accurate, painless, and competent. Did not feel pressured at all to complete each phase of the procedure and all my questions were answered. I felt completely comfortable with the whole process and would recommend NewDay USA to any of my fellow veterans without hesitation.

Temi went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of despite all the challenges from Louisiana based subcontractors. Missing two days of work due to Termite inspect no show, then having to pay up front before they would release results. Having to redo all closing paperwork due to notary mistake, two days after funds were to be dispersed.

Your company started off great. First phone call certain paperwork was asked for. So I provided it. Then a few weeks later each phone call asked for more info every time we talked. Then the delays came. Your company failed to keep the closing date as scheduled. After a week another missed deadline. Then after I closed the loan. Zero contact from Dan. Text, email, phone messages nothing. Here I am two weeks later after closing and I still haven’t received the money promised that it would be overnighted. I even signed for it to be electronically sent but no fees back from your company. I will never recommend New Day to anyone and will reach out to every social media app and put the word out there also.

This was an enjoyable experience overall, the only thing that I am not excited about is I have two checks for accounts that I believe are closed? This could very well be my problem as I may not have fully looked at a sheet that was sent over for me to review. The credit report I am looking at and what you guys were looking at are not the same. Ryan ** was very helpful. But we were expecting the checks last Tuesday but they didn’t get sent out until then for overnight. It’s Friday now and we haven’t seen anything yet. Also, I know he was out of the office but I had to use my wife’s phone to talk to somebody else. When I tried on my phone it always went to him which started to piss me off. There should be a way to talk to someone if he’s out of the office.

The loan was started on 7 Nov with apr of 6.99. By the time it closed, it was changed to 7/49 and originally I was told, "You could do 100 percent" but at closing, I was told only 92 percent could be done. Was I misinformed from the beginning?

My initial contact with New Day USA was November 25, 2022. The person I was assigned to contact with any questions or concerns is, surprisingly a New Day VP and Program Team Leader. Closing agent told us the settlement company would mail checks. We called Anthony ** and never got a call back. We called again, and again until we reached him. Anthony told us the closing rep wasn’t correct and he would call the following day to coordinate the FedEX package being mailed to us in VA, where we were working during the week. No call, and FedEX was sent to NC requiring a very long, overnight drive to retrieve the checks to be mailed. Our settlement date was delayed by nearly 2 weeks due to an oversight by Anthony and no calls back, despite being assured he would call. We referred my Aunt and Mother to Anthony because he was wonderful at the beginning, but once we signed off there was ZERO follow through. Terribly disappointed and now we get the honor of a month of less income by having to pay bills that should have been paid off by our loan. We’ve faced financial loss, and that’s not acceptable.
