Keep getting calls from these jokers. My phone blocks the call so they leave a message. Last one was from Pamela **. Got 9 messages. I called back 3 times. Told them I'm on a Do Not Call List. Didn't need a loan. Don't need their business period. They still call. Have reported them to the FTC which is useless. They are in California; I'm in TN. why would I do business with them when I have a local bank. I call the bank and say, "Hey I need 50,000 and they tell me come sign for it." They are scammers. I chewed them out yesterday again and the man told me don't need to be upset. I own a towing company. If I was in California I would clean out their parking lot.

I believe that this company is very sketchy. First I filled out my application online like you would imagine that is how you're supposed to do as is with any other company. Then a day or so later I get a email stating that I'm approved for the exact amount that I applied for, not one of those emails saying you're approved for up to a certain amount so I clicked on the link and stating signing all the documents still seems normal. So I wait 3 or 4 business days nothing in my account. So I call them, they say no that was just to tell a person what it is like if they get approved but it has no mention of that anywhere and they never tried to contact me.

When I called also I was only getting a lot of 1 word answers to my questions not like you would expect from any company customer service and lastly the first person I talked to tells me I need a full year of bank statements sent to them then I called back before I sent the information and talk to a different person. She says just 30 days. Sketchy

If you are unsure of this loan and in doubt DO NOT COMPLETE THE APPLICATION. I'm very disappointed with the service I received in regards to this loan. I realized that that APR is very high and I no longer wanted the loan even though I was approved. They told me it's nothing that they can do even though the loan was in the process of sending out the payments to my credit cards WHICH AREN'T PAID YET BY THEM. I only did the loan because I was convinced by a debt specialist from National Debt Relief that it's the best option for me but most of my credit has 0.0 APR for 18 months so had time to pay my cards off without being charged interest. There should be an option for people who no longer want the loan because things happen and to say that you have to take a loan you no longer need is unheard of. Now I'm stuck with this unnecessary loan.

I was referred to Liberty Lending by Nat'l Debt Relief. I was denied after they did an initial credit check and the reasons given for the denial were NOT on my credit records:

      (1) Too many recent inquiries on credit bureau -There have been no inquiries since last year when we purchased a car.
      (2) Delinquent past or present credit obligations with others - There are no delinquencies on my records for over 30 years.
      (3) Too many new tradelines opened recently - No new accts opened since auto purchase in 2019.

      (4) Recent negative credit card activity - There are no negative reports.

I wrote and asked for more details as these were not valid reasons and the reply I got stated "We are sorry that you are disappointed, this was not our intention. At that time, an opportunity with Liberty Lending was not available and the inquiry will not impact your credit. " As you can see they did NOT address my questions which leads me to assume this company and their partner National Debt Relief are both scams. I will just negotiate with my creditors myself and leave these two companies out of my life and recommend others do the same. I am considering reporting them for Fair Credit Reporting violations.

It was my first payment and I was freaking out. They told me not to worry about it but that’s not what I am and I do worry about it. I came to this site before I called them, because, among other things, I didn't really trust anyone who doesn't accept their applications online. I got a flyer telling me I was "pre-approved," for a loan, in the amount of 45K, and showed a low-interest rate of 5.49%. I called them, and they did a soft pull on my credit report. The next day, they called me and said I was approved, just not for a "traditional," loan. They were marketing one of those "debt consolidation," scams, where they tell you to stop making all of your payments, pay them an up-front fee, and a monthly payment. Then they will try to work with your creditors. I told them no way, I was not interested, and that I did not appreciate the bait and switch.

The Rep just kept babbling on about what a good program it is. I tried to politely ask him to stop promoting it, but he would not stop condescending towards me, because I would not agree to the "bait and switch" program. I finally had to hang up, because he would not stop promoting the program I politely rejected. I see this site accepts funds from sellers and advertisers, so I am curious whether the positive reviews here about this group are genuine, and I will watch to see whether this "real" review is posted. Caveat emptor.

I received their mail, went through the offer and spoke to Liberty Lending. It was great because I wanted to do a consolidation of my credit card. I saw what they were offering and that enabled me to put all my consolidations, just pay one side instead of keeping different dates of payments with different credit cards. The application process went smoothly as well. We were able to talk about each card and plan, and the process was reasonably good.

It was a standard process and the timeframe was good enough. It’s not like I could just walk in. There are some required documents that I might need to scan and send and the timeframe was within the range because sometimes they say I did not send the right documents, or things like that. It was a professional experience. They gave me all the options that I needed to do and they gave me time to complete all of it. It was not like they were pressuring. They gave me all the necessary offer. It suits me, so I was quite satisfied.

On 3.14 2020 I called Liberty to seek a loan, but was turned down. The agent, Ashley **, however told me there was another option, debt consolidation, that I did qualify for. She explained this option to me in detail in a very clear professional and knowledgeable manner, waiting until I understood each step before moving on to the next step. Her patience with me, an elder, was most noteworthy, she didn't rush me through the process. I initially declined the offer. However after reflection decided the offer would be best to address my current fiscal situation.

I called her back the next day and left a message for her to get back in touch. She called me back on 3.16.2020 and I re-initiated the process to accept the offer. I was with National Debt Relief and applied at Liberty Lending Group. The rate was okay and the process was fairly easy, taking up a couple of hours. It was good with the rep and they've answered all my questions.

They were very helpful with the loan I wanted to take out. They also answered all my questions about about the loan. The people on the phone explained everything great. I would definitely recommend people to get a loan with them.

I was sent some advertisement by Liberty, and then, I called, and they offered me a lower interest rate. I had a lot of help from them during the application. They really walked me through it real good. It took a couple of weeks and it wasn’t long. All the people were very nice to us, and I appreciate it.

I hadn't used the loan for a long time, but it's a predatory loan because Liberty takes $300 right off the top and then they charge at 29%. It's like I paid $257 and 87 cents goes towards the principal. The people that I've talked to have all been nice. But as far as the loan, whoever heard of you paying almost $260 and then 87 cents going towards the principal? I can't complain 'cause I'm an adult and I knew what I was doing, and I got the money. But I paid another $200 today. I put $260 in so I paid at least $1 towards the principal. I worked in the police department for 27 years, and I know a scam when I see one. I don't know how they get away with it, but they do.

Also, I would invite anybody in management at Liberty to try to log on to their account. It's like you're logging on to the CIA. It's a hassle. Once you answer the security questions and then you put that in again, it'll ask for it again. It's like everything is redundant. If I can remember, how come the computer can't remember? My generation is not computer illiterate. I went through my adult life and never handled a computer until I was 57 years old.
