We were purchasing a new home so we applied for a mortgage and HomeDirect had the lowest rate that we found. But there was a lot of miscommunication between the people that I was working with. Originally, we were working with Tyson and then all of a sudden, we were working with Donna. They were not communicating back and forth with one another and were asking the same information.

I was moving due to military orders and I needed a place to live, so I decided to apply for a mortgage. I’ve been telling a lot of people about LendingTree. So on a whim, I tried the LendingTree process and it led me to HomeDirect Mortgage. I had used some lenders in the past, and I liked and trusted their customer service. However, those companies were unable to match HomeDirect’s rate and incentive kickbacks. I applied for a new home purchase and ended up with the 30-year fixed loan program.

I relocated to a different town for my work and we purchased a house. I went with a fixed VA 30-year loan program and got a better rate with HomeDirect Mortgage. Here in Greenville, South Carolina, the rate was almost a full percentage point higher than what HomeDirect Mortgage was able to deliver. The loan process was surprisingly easy. When we signed the contract to have our home built, we were 45 days out from the expected closing date and our original lender fell through. We scrambled and found HomeDirect Mortgage about 40 days out and was able to get a rate lock within a day and closed on time. HomeDirect Mortgage was able to manage the deal in less than 30 days.

I've been dealing with HomeDirect from my previous VA loan three years ago and now with my refinance. They've been helping me a lot and gave me excellent service for both transactions. Nate has been really good and knows what he's doing. He did all the work and explained my rates to me well. He gave me all the numbers that I needed or that I can afford and he wasn't the person that pushed me or tried to sign me up. That’s why I went for HomeDirect. Now I’m able to afford the homes that I want to afford and it’s great.

We applied for a mortgage to refinance an old home. I’ve been working with HomeDirect Mortgage's rep for about five years. He’s been one of the best I ever found compared to other companies I saw. He can always try to do the best for me wherever he was. He was really smooth. He also got a good support team. So far, it has been great. The process was really good. If you’re going to work with the bank it is important to get through them on the process.

We were buying a new house and went with their 30-year VA loan. I initially did a LendingTree application online and I had a bunch of people from different companies providing great quotes. HomeDirect's was significantly better though. I took the normal documentations and got the email with their rate quotes. I called them and said I was interested in it then we walked through the rest of it like a normal mortgage application. Their representatives were excellent and I enjoyed working with them. They seemed on top of things and had all the details. Gave good, accurate information and then the price or the rate was great so it was a very good experience altogether. I'm very happy with the low rates that I got and I would highly recommend them.

HomeDirect Mortgage was fantastic. Their rates were one of the best on Zillow, and the loan process was smooth, nice, and friendly. The sales rep was able to explain everything. HomeDirect Mortgage lowered the payment. We get rid of most of the PMI. It was over $300 but now I'm only paying $75.

We were looking to refinance our house and I got a 30-year fixed rate loan with HomeDirect Mortgage. We went through all the normal steps of the qualification. Then our house got inspected and appraised and the closing was completed at our house. The reps from HomeDirect kept me very informed about the whole progress of everything, so I was very happy with them. There was a rep who was very responsive and whenever I had any questions, I had an answer from him within an hour. I was very impressed, overall, with the quality of service. I was a little hesitant at first, getting a completely online, out of state provider. And now, I would definitely be using them again. Working with them has been a very seamless transition from my previous mortgage to this mortgage, so it's been great.

We had an amazing experience with HomeDirect Mortgage. I'm surprised that we closed down a house as quick as we did. We wanted our own home, so we considered applying for a mortgage. We searched online and we liked HomeDirect’s rates. We got the VA home loan from them. Ryan helped us and guided us through the steps to get our application approved. He set us up for success with the house and we're very happy. He was very professional and had a very quick response time. We went with a conventional loan program. One of Money Talks News’ suggestions was Quicken. We also applied with Quicken and Garden State Loans, and HomeDirect was the easiest mortgage process I've ever gone through. It was online and quick. There wasn't a giant stack of papers to sign when we closed.

I had a good service from HomeDirect Mortgage when processing my loan. They asked me for my bank statements, my work information, work history, W-2's and credit reports were pulled. They communicated continuously with me throughout the process. They are always accessible in case I have questions. David, the person I worked with was very knowledgeable about the work that he was doing. He provided a great service and I was very pleased with him. The broker was very nice as well. Sometimes he would send an email and I wouldn't open it but he was very patient and called me.

I had a conventional loan program with HomeDirect Mortgage. It was for a new home purchase. They had better customer service and competitive rates over other lenders. The lack of overhead meant that their closing costs were much less than what our local banks would charge. The overall loan process was also fairly easy. I submitted an inquiry online and the mortgage representative got back to me. Then I assumed the normal mortgage process at that point. I had to submit financial information and documents that needed to be signed. Mortgage involves a lot of paperwork and we did that electronically.

The initial communication was like building the trust so it gave me confidence to go with the process. The quality of service I have received has been excellent, and it's a very good feeling after buying the home.

I needed a house and HomeDirect's closing and lending fees were lower in applying for a mortgage. I went with an FHA and the guy that I worked with, Tim, was pretty fantastic, professional, easy to get a hold of and a really rock-solid guy to work with. He made the whole process pretty simple. There were a few glitches in the paperwork along the way, but that worked out in the end.

I refinanced for a new home with Home Direct Mortgage. I went with an FHA 30-year program. I realized that I was going to be in the same place for a little while, so I decided that I should probably go ahead and invest in some real estate. The loan process was really good. I started out talking to Ryan and he gave me some direction, told me to pick a place, and went through the entire process. I started assembling a lot of documents. We had some hold ups, but we were able to ultimately come out with a mortgage, succeeding.

We would recommend HomeDirect to a friend almost entirely on the basis of our positive experience with our loan professional, Brandon **, who I would personally recommend to any friend. Brandon was knowledgeable, responsive, thorough, friendly, efficient, and courteous. It's too bad HomeDirect doesn't provide borrowers with the same kind of personal account manager once the loan closes.

Joe ** and HomeDirect were fantastic to work with on the smoothest and by far the quickest re-finance we have ever done. We highly recommend this company. Everything was done exactly as promised, on time or earlier, without having to even go anywhere. Some very nice people came to our house to have us sign the docs. Super EASY!

Erik ** was my agent. He was knowledgeable and very helpful in making sure everything was taken care of. My only problem is that he told me that usual Bank of Oklahoma (BOK) doesn't sell their loans, but services them themselves. I've already received notice that the loan has been sold, even though BOK will still be servicing the loan.

I bought a new house and I ended up going with a VA loan with HomeDirect because of the ease of using them and having the best interest rate that I could find. I did several comparisons and they came up consistently having the best price. It was also very easy working with their team out of Kansas. They listened to me and were able to provide rapid response. Even when I thought they would be closed, one of their reps was still monitoring and able to answer questions. He guided me through the whole process. The overall process was fairly quick but it could have been faster. There were some issues coming out of the builder like being delayed in responding. But, the overall quality of service that they provided was fantastic. They have been professional, quick and consistent. I've recommended HomeDirect Mortgage to a couple of people.

I wanted to get a better rate and I did a refi. HomeDirect Mortgage was very communicative during the whole process and they kept us updated the whole way. I did my initial request for information on a Saturday and they called me immediately and have stuff for me to fill out on Monday. The rates weren't quite where we want it, so I did a rescore and I got the rates down. That was something I didn't know that they have the ability to do and that's cool. I took all the steps required to secure a loan as laid out by my loan administrator, which was a lot for the loan. She was very professional, quick to respond and she always got me what I needed. Everything went fine and I will recommend HomeDirect.

We wanted to buy a house and HomeDirect came up at the lowest rate for a mortgage when I did a search on the web. We went with the VA loan but it was March when we first applied for it and we closed on May 3rd. It was a pain signing papers. It had to be signed by hand and then faxed in. Also, the rep told us one thing and then it would be different. He was also a little bit pushy.

I would also refer a friend to my mortgage guy. He was friendly and helpful plus I have also worked with him in the past. However, the underwriting part had some weird questions, unnecessary pieces and requests that had hoops to jump through. It's either I do it and get my mortgage or otherwise. And we probably could have chopped a week or two off of it. But overall, it happened in a timely manner and HomeDirect is a quality company.

I went with a 30-year VA loan with HomeDirect Mortgage. I was going from place to place in a new job and I was a referred by another customer that they had. It was roughly a two month-long process and it was mostly very good. The guy who had facilitated my loan was very easy to work with and seemed like he was on the ball. He was fantastic. He always have an answer for me and he was very calm. He knew what to do and how to get stuff done fairly quickly. He worked all hours. Even my realtor said that she was very impressed with him that he would respond to her emails when she's not expecting to get it until the next day. He would respond really fast to her and was really good as far as that goes. He was on the roll.

I needed to refinance for I had just gotten a loan and I realized I screwed up and needed to get something better. The interest rate I was getting from the local bank was really high, so I went to LendingTree. I put in my information and everybody called me. But HomeDirect Mortgage had the lowest interest rate and their representative worked with me really good. He had no problem walking me through the stuff four times because I had no idea what I was doing. As I was getting all the paperwork and financials from the bank where we had gotten the loan originally from, Jim just kept backing us up. If we had any questions, he would answer them and give us suggestions. The task could have been a lot harder and he definitely made it a lot easier.

I've gone on lendingtree.com and got responses from several companies, but HomeDirect Mortgage had the best numbers. He and his team were on top of it and I felt confident that when I spoke with him, he was giving me the best deal possible. It's pretty straightforward and we had everything done. I would definitely recommend them, especially working with Chad. Even if he doesn’t have the ultimate best pricing, just the confidence that you’re working with somebody that is honest and knowledgeable is definitely worth the shot.

I applied for a refinance because of a friend's referral and I chose HomeDirect because of the rates. My experience during the loan process was fabulous. They were excellent and knowledgeable. They had every question answered and they resolved a lot of the complicated issues with ease. In every step of the way, they were supporting and helping me out with my questions and what docs to have. Once I submitted all the docs, they would email me and let me know if anything was missing. A mortgage company we had before failed to take enough money for escrow for the taxes and insurance. We refied with HomeDirect Mortgage and ended up going with their VA loan with a thirty-year fixed rate. Right away, I was given a quote online and I got a representative calling me. He was very helpful and straight to the point but I dealt with his assistant. But there were a lot of steps for the loan application. Because it was a VA loan, they were particular about painting my eaves. They weren't very clear and they were being a little picky but we told them that we were fixing stuff. So it was a little inconvenient. I also had to get a termite team to inspect the house and do treatments.

That section between between them and the underwriters doesn't communicate with each other and every time I submitted the paperwork, I had to send them documentation over and over. When I applied to HomeDirect again, they immediately put me back with John, which was excellent. I really appreciated that. I thought that was good service. And then, I worked through the process with John. It was super easy. It was an excellent service overall.

I was very pleased and I found her and her assistant to be very exceptional. They were professional, courteous and committed.

I talked to their rep, Michael and he went through all the process and information about the loan with me and fixed the rate at 4.0% during the call. He’s my only contact person so I can always get a reply very quickly no matter how urgent it is. When I have any question, I send an email to him.

If he couldn't answer it, he's willing to check to somebody who could answer them. Everything went fine for me. It got me and wife a house and we're enjoying it right now. Contact them because they work great.

I just closed on a mortgage refi with HomeDirect and highly recommend this company. Everything went just as initially described with no surprises or problems. Joseph ** was our contact and he was great. This was a VA mortgage and the whole deal was done in about 30 days. Everything was done by email and fax and when it was time to close they sent a notary to our home. Very convenient. Their rates and fees were the best I could find, and these people really know what they're doing!

HomeDirect has the best interest rates and the process was streamlined from start to finish. Also, the guy I was dealing with seemed trustworthy and he kept me informed the whole time so it was a good experience. Whatever he said he's going to do, he did it and he followed through with it. We combined first and second so now we have one payment every month and saved several hundred dollars.

I did a re-finance with HomeDirect and the process was a little bumpy but it went okay. I was with Quicken Loans before and I talked to one person for gathering of information. Then the loan is being processed and I'll talk to another person. And when the loan is fixing to close, I'll talk to another person. Normally, I just got three people to talk to but with HomeDirect, I was talking to six or eight people. I had two or three different people calling me during the same process. I had too many people calling me. They would tell me who is the next person that I'd talk to, but I never got a clear number to one person whom I could talk to about everything.

I was looking for refinancing and HomeDirect Mortgage issued a quote that has the lowest rate. I was able to easily find them online and contact an officer. Every time I have any questions, the response is fast and good. The officer walked me through the process and the documentation and it wasn't that complicated. The guy who came to assess our house was saying we’re not getting the proper rating of our house. That affected the loan and interest rate but it may be the determining lender and they have different rules. But with HomeDirect, I was able to achieve at least part of my goal. I would definitely recommend them. It was a straightforward experience.

But, the numbers weren't adding up so I put my information on Lending Tree and got 100 phone calls within 15 minutes. But I called back the HomeDirect rep, Tim, and after about a 30-45 minute conversation at probably 10 or 11 o'clock at night, I told him that I was going with him. I would've taken a higher interest rate because of his customer service throughout the whole process compared to another competitor.

He was Johnny-on-the-spot and was reachable just about any time we needed to reach him. And if he didn't answer the phone, he called us back pretty rapidly. Our experience with HomeDirect Mortgage had been pleasurable and easy. We'll definitely use them again.

After a great success story from a family member who used HomeDirect Mortgage, I applied for a mortgage with them for a new home purchase. I got a VA loan and HomeDirect had, by far, the best rates. I looked at USSA, Federal Savings Bank, and even some local lenders and nobody could touch HomeDirect's rates. I got a great rate that works with my budget. HomeDirect Mortgage was so great. When I was looking for a lower rate online, they had the lowest rate for a new purchase. They were also upfront, honest, and spot-on about everything. They had no fees that were hidden. I had another mortgage broker that had done that to me. HomeDirect's loan processor, Andrew, was unbelievably fabulous and kept in contact with me. I loved working with him. He even called me on Easter Sunday to make sure that I had the documents and everything was okay. He was always ahead of it in letting me know what was going on, so there was no question about it.

We had a friend who highly recommended HomeDirect Mortgage and we ended up going with the FHA loan. It was for a new home. The rate that they were offering was substantially better than the mortgage company that we were working with prior so we switched over. It was my first time, so the loan process was a little nerve-wracking but any question I had was quickly answered. The customer service was awesome and they explained how they come up with the rate. It was awesome that they're a third party and do their own private loan. I was also very surprised to know that it was locked for the duration of the loan, which was outstanding.

I've used refinances and purchases with HomeDirect. They had the lowest rates. I've owned four homes and a bunch of mortgages and refinances and the rep has been the best with the paperwork and he's well organized. He asked for paper work initially and I could count on everything he asked. He knew what needs to be provided in the very beginning and didn't keep hounding me every week with more documentation. That's what pushed me away from a lot of places when I got two weeks into a mortgage and they wanted me to provide more documents because they didn't have their stuff together to tell me in the very beginning.

Then if he didn't know the answer, he found out for me through other people. They cared about us and not just taking the profit of giving us the loan. It was an easy process and I'll definitely go through them again. Also, I would tell my friends that if they're looking for a great APR and good quality service that's where they would find it.

We moved and we applied for a conventional loan for our new home. I had a personal relationship with the loan officer for HomeDirect Mortgage and went with them. We went through the broker rather than the mortgage person but anytime we interacted, it had been fine. We didn't have to go into the office and there was calling, emailing, and electronic signature. It was very easy and convenient. We knew what steps we had to go through and we had the house appraised.

I had a lot of issues and concerns because there's a lot of mortgage companies out there that re-finance and there's a lot of fees that people want to insert into the loan and tell you that it's a requirement when it's really not. This was the fourth VA loan that we’ve done and the man who helped us on our third VA loan was Seth and he was so wonderful. We wanted to use Seth again because he made the process so easy, he was great and because of the level of his knowledge when it comes to the VA loan. He let us know that he had changed companies so we chose HomeDirect. We went through the usual income verification and my husband’s VA eligibility which wasn’t difficult.

She did whatever she promised and I was very satisfied. Working with HomeDirect has been good so far.

I purchased a new home and went through Lending Tree. I had several responses from them but working with the various lenders, HomeDirect offered me the lowest interest rate. It was our first home and I was in the military and it was a first-time homebuyer and a VA loan that I went with. I gave them a number that we were going for in a house and the process was finalized in ten days. But they can improve on their online payment. I haven't found a way to do it if I want to pay an x-amount of money this week and for another week towards the loan and do it all at once. I'm sure there is a way, but when I go do it, I have to have the entire monthly mortgage to submit. But as far as talking with the loan officers, I had great contact via email and telephone. If I had an inquiry, I get a response within 24 hours and usually within a couple of hours. Everything's been extremely positive with them.

Home Direct Mortgage has a pretty good process. My husband and I were moving for work so we wanted to do a VA loan. We wanted a lender that was familiar with the VA home loan process. The person I worked with was also very responsive and always on time. I e-mailed a request and he was the first one to respond. Their rates are not too bad, but they could have given me a better rate. I got a rate from the another man, but in the end, I chose the one with the better service and the not too bad rate.

The rising rate environment doesn't directly correlate to mortgage rates but usually have some correlation when the federation rate that causes the 30 year treasury rate to rise. There was an anticipated rate hike immediately prior to when we expected to have a contract so I opted to lock my interest rate with them prior to that date and it was substantial savings.

There was a lot of paperwork but my closing date was pretty far out so they had ample time to process the loan. It took about 45 days. HomeDirect is great and is a wonderful service. They did everything they said they were going to do. The professionalism was very good, they were prompt, attentive and there were no surprises. The process I've gone through was about 70% online, 30% over the phone. I was a little apprehensive about it at first, but they made me feel completely comfortable. I sought who they were and did my homework on them. There was a good comfort level in the follow-up and dealing with the agents.

My HomeDirect Mortgage experience is a very long process. Had several issues along the way. Underwriters were horrible and very nitpicky about things that shouldn’t have been an issue. Still, already paid off the mortgage and a short term loan but now I’m hassling with them about my escrow money. They withheld something because my shed didn’t have siding on it but I’ve sided it since then and paid off the mortgage so it shouldn’t even matter. I did get a check but I don’t know what it’s for and I don’t think it’s complete because when I had to set up an escrow account for all the taxes and six months of insurances plus the $850 they withheld from that shed, the check I got was $805 with no explanation.

I ended up getting a 30-year fixed type of loan program and I’ve recommended Greg and Matt to other people.

We found the house that we wanted to buy. We had applied online and HomeDirect Mortgage was one of the choices that we had, and they offered a rate increment that interested us. Our experience during the home loan process was really good. Their rep was helpful and responsive. He was very flexible because we were going to do a VA loan at first but the whole process was taking forever. So we switched midstream and just got a conventional 30-year loan. They didn’t like the terms on one of our loans but rather than dropping it, we just threw that in the mix and went ahead and refinanced that. He made it happen without bugging us down with the minutiae of the adding on the refinance. He took care of most of that without too much pain.

HomeDirect Mortgage ended up being the least expensive of all the ones that I talked to regarding a refinance. I went with them and the loan process was fairly smooth overall. I was a little hesitant at first because I didn't know them. I did some research and they're backed by a fairly large Bank of Oklahoma. I did the refinance to pay off various debts and I also took some cash back rather than paying my creditors directly. My biggest disappointment with the title company that HomeDirect chose was at the end of the process, they sent me checks totaling to a little over $100,000 to my home address with no signature or anything required.

While there was tons of documentation, I put it all together and got it to her. Still, there were a lot of documents that we did electronically for e-signature. Moreover, my rep communicated very well through the whole loan process which took about 30 days.

The rep I was working with from HomeDirect had good reviews, so I decided to go with her and apply for a refinance. She was very responsive and informative when I had questions. It was a smooth and seamless process. I’m happy with the refinance, the rates and how all the numbers worked out. My only issue with them was in maintaining my loan. Their web application’s features are very limited when I go in and make my payments. I wanted to opt out of the paper statements and I had to give them a call about that instead of being able to do it in the application.

Their rates were okay, so I applied for a loan with them. There was a lot of paperwork, but HomeDirect was very helpful. Their rep gave me all the information and told me what to do. I also told him up front that I would be ending my job at the end of the year, but he said that I am prequalified and that if I needed more money, I will let him now and it wouldn't be a problem. But then they came back asking me to supply them something from my work saying that I was going to be working for the next three years to qualify. So I went through a whole bunch of extra stuff that I didn't need to do including setting up an IRA distribution on a monthly basis to qualify for the loan. They should've been up front about it. But, the loan is paid off already.

So, I guess as long as I send it to somebody, they'd get the payment on my house.

I had a refi with HomeDirect and got exactly what I wanted. Rates are the most important factor, but the representative, Tyler, was very responsive and not pushy. Their process is pretty typical in furnishing all of those documents that you need and follow-up, except that in the past I’ve done things with someone in person. So this was my first time doing everything over the phone or electronically. And because my spouse was international at that time and we had some extra documentation, it wasn’t all smooth but it was fine. Also, I’m in a different location and I found it super helpful that they had the notary come to my house. So all the documents were signed in my kitchen and I had no idea that that kind stuff existed. Overall, if they don’t have the lowest rates, I wouldn’t recommend them just for service.

I placed my information on that website and within seconds, my phone started ringing. I talked to nine people and I went with the first one that called which is HomeDirect. They had the best numbers and their refinance have lower rates so I went with the 15-year fixed loan program. The loan process was good too. There were a lot of emails but everything was answered quickly by the loan officer and her assistant. There were issues with my roof which I had to get fixed too. All the little processes, they were easy to help me with and it was pretty straightforward. They were quick to help me understand or deal with it. Their quality of service was excellent, so I'd recommend them.

Bank of Kansas City which later on merged with HomeDirect had the lowest rates at that time as well as very preferential terms so I did the VA loan with them to pull money out for renovation. I got a call from one of their reps and we went over the loan details. She made the offer on the rate and gave me the quote of the closing cost. Then I received the other quotes and I decided on HomeDirect's. I liked that I got the best offer upfront from them. A lot of the lenders started with a crappy offer and basically had to get a competing offer.

My wife and I have obtained two mortgages in the past two years through Matt ** at HomeDirect Mortgage - the first in Utah and the second in Florida. While neither transaction was completed without the occasional minor snag, we were extremely pleased overall. In the first case, we were six weeks into the process with Quicken Loans when they (QL) threw a monkey wrench into the machinery by refusing to work with the title company we had chosen. But instead of firing our title company, we fired QL and went looking for a more agreeable lender. Working with HomeDirect Mortgage impacted my life a lot to get the mortgage that we wanted to despite some curve balls that were thrown. I'd recommend them.

I applied for a mortgage to refinance and I went with a conventional program with HomeDirect Mortgage. They had good reviews and great rates. I dealt with them mostly through email and they have been responsive and efficient. I've recommended them to a few of my friends.

Also, our rep, Sam, called us for any problem like if I didn’t sign something or if he needed extra documentation. I was a little stressed during the first 24 hours because he told us the rate he would give us was only good until the end of the day which was 6:00, but he called us back several times that day before we officially signed. He was great the whole time.

I got a VA loan from HomeDirect for a relocation. They were recommended to me by someone who had used them and they had the best rates so I went with them. The loan process was pretty simple. There was good communication via both email and phone. They were very clear on what was needed and worked with me to get the loan. About 90 percent of my communication was with the rep, Chad. I was impressed with how easy he was to work with. He'd call me or send me an email, and there was clarity on what was needed.

We bought a new house and we got the conventional loan from HomeDirect Morgage because they gave the best terms. We were happy with the outcome but there were a few glitches along the way. We were going to get a VA loan and about three weeks before we closed, HomeDirect came back and said they had made a mistake that it was going to be considered a refinance instead of a new purchase so the VA funding fee was going to be almost three times higher than they originally thought. So, we decided to go with a conventional loan. But they were great in terms of going back to the original lock-in date and giving us the conventional rate that was in effect at the time as opposed to the higher rate that we had started all over. So that was good.

HomeDirect Mortgage offered us better rates, as well as lender credits and fees and the process was very easy with them. Our experience with them was very positive. They were very responsive and provided any documentation and paperwork that we needed to fill out. It was not our first time buying a home and we didn’t feel there was an excessive amount over the last time we had purchased the house. Even though we had bought houses before, it always feels like a new process. The difference is you didn’t remember from the last time. So, it can definitely be overwhelming but they felt trustworthy.

This is our third home that we purchased and we were just looking to move. I serve in the ministry in the city that we bought the home and we were a good 40 minutes away from them. In order to be more effective, we were compelled to move. We didn't want to go through the previous lender, not that it was bad, but we wanted to use a different option. Plus, I also took advantage of my VA loan. It just turned out to be that HomeDirect Mortgage was able to accommodate us really quite easily.

As always, they were on the same page about what was going on and what was needed. It was a very neat process. The only thing that was irritating was I thought they were going to hold the mortgage rather than sell it to Freddie Mac, but it's not a big deal. It took them a month before my loan was sold.

It was a VA refinance, so that streamlined a lot of things, but very quick from rate lock to a close was relatively fast, under 20 days. We got exactly what we are looking for and it was done very well.

He got my interest rate lowered down a little bit and cut some years off my mortgage. My experience with the refinancing process was all by the book. There was no misrepresenting and it was all good.

HomeDirect Mortgage worked hard with me to get everything closed out. They were really thorough in their process of getting the best rates that were available. In trying to get the whole mortgage closed out, they seemed a lot easier to deal with than other lenders. I will refer friends to HomeDirect if they were looking for a mortgage or refinancing because I had such a good experience.
