The loan officer from ClearPath answered my questions and explained everything. The application process was a little difficult for me but I gave them all the stuff they wanted and it went really easy. I got into the program where it's 2.5% for three years and it was a sure deal.

Everytihng was fantastic with ClearPath Lending. I got a thing in the mail for the mortgages rate, so I called them back and did a refinance. The application was easy and fast, and I also felt comfortable talking to their loan officer. Overall, it was a great experience working with ClearPath.

I get a lot of mails from lenders every month and I called each one and I based my choice off of who was the nicest to talk to. ClearPath Lending has been helpful and their guy, Mike, was very proactive. I called him in January and he told me that they can't do business with me until May because the lender that I had for a year said that they'll give me a quarter of a percent then give me a month off, which means that I had to make consecutive payments for at least six months before I could do it again. When May came around, I called Mike and we got back to it. He called often just to make sure that if I had any questions or concerns, he was there to answer them. He was also informative throughout each stage of the process. Overall, my experience has been great and I would recommend ClearPath.

The manager contacted me and apologized. Apparently the agent handling my account left the company and my application fell into a black hole. It remains to be seen about follow through, but he did call me twice which is a good sign. At least I know I've been approved and can start shopping for a new home.

I checked reviews for major lending companies online and ClearPath had the best reviews on multiple sites. I contacted them and heard back from an agent quickly. I provided all my documents. It was verified that the documents were received. Subsequently we received copies of our credit reports. Then nothing and more nothing. I contacted the agent who apologized and said he'd get on it. Then - nothing again. I contacted him again. He called me back and left a voicemail saying he'd try again later. That was the last time I heard from him. My first contact was in March and it's now the end of June. I don't have a quote or anything but my credit score is lower because they pulled our credit report which now is outdated. I don't know where the glowing reviews came from. My service was non-existent.

I wanted a refi with a lower rate and I did the ARM rate with ClearPath Lending. I first made contact with them over the phone and it was an easy process. We just went back and forth and most of the communication was through the phone as well. They sent me some documents and I filled them out. My loan officer was good and really receptive. The process took about two months and he kept me up to date about where they were. He also answered any questions I had. Overall, I got a good deal out of it and it was a win-win situation.

I have recently retired and wanted to reduce my house payments. I knew I wasn't ever going to pay my house off when I moved, so that was not a problem as far as refinancing is concerned. ClearPath's rates were wonderful, and the loan officer was so nice and helpful. I got a VA loan, and the application process was effortless. I had a very good experience, and if I had to do it again, I'd be happy to do it with Mark.

We've had our house for eight years and we were looking at all the advertisements that came through at the VA percentage rates. We had refinanced for an equity loan two years ago and the company stuck us at 4.75. But we were supposed to be on a VA loan and it wasn't supposed to be that high at that time. We had a hybrid loan and my son convinced us that it was going to jump on us and charge us a great amount of money after a short time so we went with a stable, 30-year fixed loan. However, we jumped a point and I wasn't happy about it.
When I took the loan out, we cleared up credit cards and did some remodeling in the house. I had one of the bank repo houses we bought and the kitchen and the bathrooms had been gutted. The people that bought it fixed it up and did a few things to make it look better, but it wasn't quite what I wanted. So, we took out the loan. It was little higher than I wanted to go. And they kept making mistakes and I couldn't figure out why. They kept saying that we weren't paying enough into our escrow account. They were supposed to be taking it out of our monthly paychecks that we've sent them. I told them, "Why aren't you subtracting the right amount?" They didn't correct it and did the same thing again the next year. That didn't make sense to me and so I wasn't happy too happy with that.
When ClearPath Lending came along, the interest rate was quite a substantial decrease and was another hybrid VA loan, which I was interested in because it makes it much easier. Also, I understood what they were talking about by percentage rates. We had a good chat with Adam who was nice and thorough. We got everything done fast and it wasn't hard to do. They sent somebody out to close on the loan.

The ClearPath Lending mailer through the post office said that I could currently qualify for a 4.25% on my VA loan, so I wanted to check that out. I already had a VA, so I was refinancing it with ClearPath. The application was a very smooth thing. I had to do some electronic signature after talking with the representative for a couple of hours. Then, he emailed me the place I needed to go to for that and took care of that.
What I really liked the most was that every two or three days, they called, made sure I was doing okay and if I had any questions. They were very professional and the loan officer was great. Adam was really good and I really appreciated that they held my hand. Also, everything went accordingly to what he told was gonna happen. There were no hiccups and no situation that came along that he didn’t warn me about. Everything was clear-cut and dry there. I really had a good experience and it was very convenient. I definitely will use them again in about three years.

My husband is a veteran. We wanted to refinance our loan and get the Streamline benefit for VA. ClearPath Lending told us that theirs was the best program for us. They told us what our interest rate would be and we're satisfied with the information given to us, so we went with them. If we don’t like it down the line, we can change it. The rep that we talked to was very professional and knowledgeable. He called Monday and Friday, checked on us to see what was going on, and he kept us updated as things changed. There was no hassle during the application process and they gave us pretty clear guidelines as to what the process was. They were concise, accurate, and forthcoming with the information they gave us. The only thing that I was surprised with was that they sold the loan so quickly. Other than that, they did the things they said they could do.

I talked with ClearPath Lending's reps and I had to correspond with them on a regular basis. Anything I had a question with, they would walk me through everything I needed to know without rushing me. They were very patient and understanding. The application process was easy to do. They got me and showed me how to do it on the computer because I’m not so good with computers being 79. I did it all electronically with their rep's help. It saved a lot of work too. When I got my first mortgage though, that was a lot of saving and paperwork. But, I love my experience with ClearPath Lending. They got to be like family. I would recommend them to anyone.

ClearPath Lending’s offers look good. I checked them out to see what they could do for me and it worked out. It was relatively simple to apply for the loan and obtain it. The process was smooth. I made a phone call with their rep, Hayden, and he walked me through the whole process. He sent me out the forms to electronically sign on the email. After we signed everything, we got everything back to him. Hayden was great. During the waiting period, he called me and let me know what was going on, where we're at, and where along was that in the process. And then a bit later, we were closing.

The offer from ClearPath was very attractive. I had a house and it had a loan. I was paying .5 above what ClearPath was offering and a loan from them would definitely save me some money on the overall price. It’s obviously hard to give in until you actually start talking with the people but once I started talking, it was really nice. I went with the VA Refinance program which was called the IRRRL. The loan officer called me, kept me updated, informed me and helped me through the whole process. She told me everything that I was going to need to get or to have. It was headache-free so it was very nice. I only had one question and she got right back to me and answered it. I was able to get everything filled out and turned it in. That was done in a timely fashion so we were able to pursue it quickly.
With the loan officer, I could call her on Mondays and Fridays so she could tell me where the loan was and what was going through. She called me when the loan was all approved and done. Also, when the notary was coming after it was done. She called to check up and make sure everything went okay and if I have any questions even in the future, I’m more than welcome to call her and ask. I really enjoy having a hassle-free process. When I have something to do today, even a simple department store credit card is a nightmare but she has made it really easy for me. The experience with ClearPath was very pleasant.

I had a letter from ClearPath. I had so many letters coming in wanting to refinance the house. We've only been in it for about four months. All of a sudden I took the letter and as a matter of fact, I tore it up and threw it in the trash. And then I saw something that said "VA loan" and I looked at it again and my wife looked at it too. She told me to call them, ask about VA loans and see if they can drop the interest rate.
So I called and talked to Jethro. He gave me the information, told me what I can and what I need to do. I gave it a try and all of a sudden, Jethro came back saying I qualified for it. And to drop my interest down, that was one good thing because it saved us over $200 a month on our payment. That was excellent and so we really got that done. Then Jethro told me about some of the other things ClearPath has going for like once I paid my first three months, he'd send me some more information. I got one about the insurance for the house just in case something happens to us.
We really didn't have to do anything. We just waited for them, they did all the work and called us up once a week. The guy called Gabriel was who I talked to, gave me all the information my wife and I needed and let us know what we needed to do. He didn’t have us think about “What about if this happened?” because he covered so much information. He even covered the questions I was gonna ask him. I faxed over the information he asked for and I also emailed it to him. So I had all the paperwork started, got it done and it was finished like that. Gabriel also always sent me emails and informed me where he was at and what was going on. He kept me in the loop. That was perfect and I appreciated that.
The process for the loan was done in three weeks and that was mainly for the paperwork. I took longer than that was because I ended up in the hospital. Finalizing it had to be done before the end of the month. A guy from the company came over a day after I got out of the hospital and we had everything taken care of then. I had a great experience all in all and I recommended ClearPath to a whole lot of my G.I. friends.

I took advantage of my veteran loan with ClearPath Lending. They have a better interest rate than what I had. I haven't had a mortgage in 50 years and this is the first time I've changed it because the loan interest rate is so low. The last time I had an interest rate was when I was in the military and I was 23 years old. It was seven percent. I'd recommend ClearPath because the rate is much lower. We went with ClearPath's veteran's loan with a fixed rate for 30 years. Our loan officer was such a nice young man. I was impressed with him trying to get us a very good loan because one company would come in and they would offer something and then I’d call ClearPath back, and he’d offer me something else. So it kind of went back and forth and finally, we just stopped. Both ClearPath and the other company were nice but I felt like the other company was going to use the same servicing company I’ve been paying to do the servicing of the loan. I wasn’t too happy with that servicing company. On the other hand, I've never heard of United Wholesale Mortgage, which is what ClearPath uses.
So far, we’ve had good luck with ClearPath Lending. The only thing was I was gonna get online and set it up to do my payments online. I called and talked with them and the lady was very helpful, but I found that you have to make your first payment by mail before you can set it up to do it online. We had a payment 1st of June. It went in and it was to go out in the mail today. That's what the lady told me and it’s going to Los Angeles. But she said that it wouldn’t go on the record or anything late until 15 days after. I got a VA loan with ClearPath Lending when I refinanced my home. I did the hybrid ARM and got the low interest rate. It was okay until it turned foul the end. I got stuck for $1,000. They told me I was going to get two months without having to pay my mortgage as they did the refinance. And then, I get a bill from the new mortgage company saying my mortgage was due in June instead of July. It's my fault because in signing the papers, I noticed one had first payment due July 1st and another one had June 1st. I called and asked the loan officer, but he said, "No, it's July 1st." And should have just followed my first mind and said, "No. Either straighten the paperwork out, that I'm not interested." So now, I'm really mad at them because I got to pay mortgage this month and I hadn't paid.
Matt, the guy who did it said he was going to get his managers try to get Quicken Loans to pay me the money back because when they paid the loan off, I paid for April out of my pocket. And so, I'm stuck for $1,050. ClearPath should make the correction and send me a check for that amount. I don't want to do any more business with them because I told them that there are two different dates on the paperwork and I was afraid that was going to happen. Quicken should have nothing to do with it. ClearPath and Quicken Loans has billions of dollars. $1,000 to me is a lot of money and that would not be much to them. But they have such a cavalier attitude like it wasn't a big deal. It is to me because I shouldn't have even signed the papers. But I took their word for it and I got stuck. Be careful with dealing with them. Make sure everything is the way it should be before you sign your papers.

The application process took between one and two weeks for my loan to get approved. The loan officer was a good guy. Whenever we needed anything, all I did was send him an email or call him and he would give me whatever I needed. It was all straight up forward communication with them. That was one of the best refinances I've had.

I was paying $596 a month and my interest rate was really high. I'm in the military and I'm not trying to spend an arm and a leg so I figured I'd try and find something that would be easier to do than from what I was paying. My ex-wife was looking for ClearPath Lending and got a letter in the mail. She gave the rep a call then I spoke with him. We talked for a few days and he broke it down. I said, "All right, I'm gonna do it." I got the VA loan.
The application process was smooth and very easy. All my questions were getting answered and they kept me informed every week. They also knocked me down about $40 a month that I can save out. Also, the loan officer was professional. We were able to go and get reformed, 22 of us. He was very easy to talk to. He said, "It's how that works and if you got any questions, you give me call. Here's my personal cell. Hit me up and let me know if you need anything." He's up and all around and it's a good experience.

He was very courteous and polite. I decided to pursue it. He made it hassle-free and there was no confusion. He stayed in contact with me and I was receiving a call from him twice a week in every two weeks for updates and for more information that he needed. Everybody was professional and dealt with my needs adequately. I refinanced my mortgage and they told me that I would not have to make two months of payments and my escrow would be given back to me. My monthly payment will also be lower. I would recommend ClearPath. There was no difficulty and I enjoyed the experience. Even the lady that came by the house in the Republic was very good. I got a regular VA loan from ClearPath with a percentage rate of 3.25 for 30 years. The application process went smoothly and was quick and efficient, as well. It was also explained to me in terms I understood and in detail. If there’s something that I didn’t understand and the loan officer didn’t have the answers that moment, he gets them and calls me back. He’s personable and very qualified for the job. Everything the loan officer told me turned out to be true. She said, “So, I’m going to be sure you don’t take no more credit loans out.” The application process took 40 days and she told me it was going to be something like that. We were thinking about refinancing the house. I am a veteran and ClearPath specialize in helping veterans so it caught my attention. Everybody was really nice and they got back to me immediately when I asked a question. I really like that so I went ahead and went with them for the VA loan. We talked about it and they appraised the house by using a program without having to come out. They sent me an email and I worked with two different people. It's really nice that you can text them instead of waiting for an email or a phone call. They told me what they needed and to give them a call if I have any questions. Even though they were in California and I'm in Georgia, I never had a problem with them and I even learned quite a few things through them. It was a very easy process.
However, we ran into a bit of a problem. The appraiser that came out thought that our "Florida room" was not stable enough so he felt we needed to have a structural engineer come out here. It took us a while to find somebody to come out and do it. The room was fine but I didn't like the price that I had to pay. But our loan officer, Mark, was very good. He always likes to update every week so every Friday he would give me a call to tell what's going on. I could also text him which was really nice. I also dealt with Kristin with the loan and answers through an email. In addition, they have a loyalty program that you become a part of where they'll help you out even after the loan is placed which is cool. There's another for VA that they are telling me about so maybe we could apply for it later down the road. I've told a couple of my veteran friends about ClearPath.

Ron, the loan officer from ClearPath lending who worked with me, was awesome. I like things especially complicated ones explained to me like I’m 5 years old. I had a sour taste with the first person who just left me up in the air and I did not know what was going on. I had already given him my information but there was about three weeks of nothing happening so I thought I was not going to do the refinance with anybody anymore. Then Ron took over, apologized for what happened, and made me feel better. By talking to him and reviewing our whole situation, it made it so much easier to make the decision. I was amazed at how thorough he was. It’s complicated when something has to do with finances and having somebody who makes it easy to understand makes everything easy. I’ve done this four years ago, and since I was in the system, I didn’t have to do all the paperwork I did on the one before, so the application process was made a lot simpler. They're very smooth and timely. I was pleased and I would recommend them to somebody else.

We bought our home the first part of January then we went through several mortgage companies and ended up with ClearPath. We worked with Sharon and she’s terrific and wonderful. If we had any questions, she was right there and helped us through the refinance. We went through another refinance at the same time and had a lot of trouble but Sharon was great. We also had a good interest rate.

To get a better interest rate, I thought of getting a loan. I applied at ClearPath Lending because of what they said in the brochure. Their application process was headache-free and was so easy. There's no miscommunication and they kept me informed as things were going on, and they kept their closing date. The most important thing was that they told me to hold on my finances but I still can get a late fee by my current lender. It was easy and so transparent with the loan officer too. I ended up going with a loan that's two and half or three years. Then, I got a chance to extend or refinance it for a different type of option. They have a customer loyalty program, which sounded good because I'm a veteran.

Since my husband is a veteran, we were able to get a good percentage rate through ClearPath. On the surface, it looked like the whole process would go rather quickly, but it didn't. Our credit rating was not really good and ClearPath gave us the impression that everything was fine, that it was all gonna be approved. Then we would be able to pay up all of our credit cards and get some cash. It all sounded glorious. But it took about four weeks just to get to that process. They came back in a few days after we thought we were close to closing and said, "Oh, that's not gonna work. We're not gonna be able to pay off your credit cards. We're not gonna be able to do any cash back. All we can do is the actual loan." We said it was okay. But then two more weeks passed and there has been no communication at all.
Finally, our loan officer, Chris, called and said, "We're not gonna be able to do that same percentage rate that we talked about. The percentage rate is gonna be different and your loan closing costs are now gonna be $5,000." So, why would we do it if we were not gaining anything and the interest rate was gonna go up. At that point, we were already at the same interest rate we're paying today. There was really no advantage for us to go through with it, so we canceled out the whole process. But Chris has been wonderful and he really tried to get everything moving. However, Melissa, the other person we were working with in the closing area, we had virtually no communication with her. We only talked to her twice during that two-month period. So that was disappointing.

But the only thing is that I was caught up on a weekend since the change of office was going on at the same time as my refinancing, the market was going crazy. I completely understand that but that was the most crucial or maybe a more important thing that happened. I missed out on a better deal due to the fact that they changed the administration for the presidency. But we locked it in and from then on, it was a walk in the park.
Also, the representative took care of me. She did a great job keeping me informed. She had to go on a family trip and even though she was having family time, she kept on texting back and forth with me and keeping me updated. I value that a lot and customer service was great. They're proficient and knowledgeable. They also sent me a loyalty package so they're gonna keep me posted as soon as anything changes, like if a better rate comes up once the market gets more stable.
