Purchased tickets for Providence vs Wisconsin game. Based on selection chart, I was supposed to be behind visitor bench at least 15 rows above the floor. Instead, I ended up on the opposite of the court, behind the basket and two rows from the floors. Right next to the student section which is definitely not where I wanted to be!!! SeatGeek has no phone number online to speak to a customer agent and no way to email the company on their website. Buyer BEWARE!!!

Bought tickets in September for a Georgia Bulldogs game Veterans Day weekend 2023. Traveled from Boston to take my brother to the game, He's a disabled Vet. Long story short we had confirmed tickets but never got the tickets. Worked all day with customer service as it was a 7pm game. Was told that they would reissue better seats by 4:00. Continued working with customer service and was told 30 minutes before kickoff that they dropped the ball and could not get me tickets. I can't believe this group of scam artists are allowed to stay in business. They knew about my situation with my brother and could not have cared less. Informed me that it being a disabled Vet did not matter to SeatGeek. I've been in contact with a Lawyer and I'm going to do everything in my power to stop these anti ** con artists from doing this to more people. Do yourself a favor and NEVER use this horrible company.

I am astounded by the fees that SeatGeek tries to charge. Never would I purchase through this as the up-sale they have is something beyond unreasonable. I looked a few different times for different events and in some cases, my price would have literally doubled. I will be more inclined to purchase through a private seller. Quite sad because I feel venues will lose revenue from this.

SeatGeek is a horrible company. I bought a parking pass (very expensive) to game 2 of the World Series because it was cold and wet and I didn’t want to have to walk far in the cold. I arrived at the parking lot to find that it was full and the attendant already knew before I even told him that I purchased from seat geek. He knew because I was one of several people that purchased passes from seat geek that were invalid. I had to drive around, find another lot and pay cash to park much further away from the stadium. I asked for a refund, the best they would do is give me a credit. I don’t want a credit, I will never use this shady, fraudulent company again. This is gallant fraud, and they know it.

I was a first time customer whose coupon code wasn't being recognized. It took 80 minutes to purchase 2 tickets to a hockey game. I asked that I be compensated for my time and they said, "no, you go the coupon code so the issue is resolved". Spoke again the next day on chat and the phone with people to try to get service; no one was interested in helping. I went to SeatGeek because I was sick of StubHub's nonsense. I won't be going back and recommend no one else give them their business.

Purchased two tickets from SeatGeek for the Morgan Wallet concert at Fenway Park on August 17, 2023. Ticket for this event were in high demand, so ticket prices were rising rapidly until a few days before the concert. The issue with Fenway Park and it being a 100 year old baseball stadium is that it wasn't built for the modern day concert in mind. Many seats within Fenway have obstructed views - in fact most of the seats in lower section F behind the home team dugout were obstructed by the concert control room in the middle of the field. Tickets online with this obstruction were marked appropriately so I had filtered out tickets listing obstructed view so I did not have to worry about having a bad concert experience. After filtering out seats listed as obstructed, I was able to locate two seats at a decent cost without any obstructed view marking.
As I entered Fenway for the concert it was quickly apparent that the seats were in an obstructed section which was quite disappointing. I did not have a view of the stage, as the control room covered the entire thing. I also noticed our ticket listed "obstructed view" directly on it which was strange because we specifically filtered out anything marked obstructed.
This was very disappointing and made for a bad concert experience. I called SeatGeek the next day to complain after reading their Buyer Guarantee. The Buyer Guarantee states that a failure for the Seller to list seats as obstructed would be covered under the guarantee. With this in mind I called SeatGeek in hopes to secure a refund because I would not have purchased these tickets had the seller listed them honestly. I figured SeatGeek would actually want to protect their customers but I was sorely mistaken.
From there, SeatGeek proceeds to make me jump through hoops just to prove they were actually obstructed. I sent them multiple photos of the obstruction but this wasn't enough "evidence." They asked me for a copy of the tickets which was nearly impossible to obtain since everything at Fenway is electronic and they utilize the MLB Ball Park App for entry into the venue. Thankfully I was able to obtain a copy of the physical tickets from the Red Sox Ticket office, as well as an email from them confirming the tickets were sold to the original buyer as obstructed seats, and that the buyer knew about this and sold them unethically anyways. The physical ticket copy said "Obstructed View" right on them - figured this would be more than enough.
I figured this information would be enough to prove my case, and that being a reputable ticket exchange, SeatGeek would have this information handy anyways since they likely have delt with this before. SeatGeek proceeds to "investigate" my case, which they said would consist of contacting the seller of the tickets and Fenway Park to confirm my story. I'm not sure if this ever happened - I highly doubt it.
The investigation was concluded and they offered me a measly $20 for the inconvenience. From there I escalated the case further and provided more evidence and they eventually upped their offer to $177 in a promo code - which was the amount of fees paid to SeatGeek just for the tickets. The cost of my tickets was over $660 - they were only refunding the fees I had to pay SeatGeek to process the transaction!
This was the best they could do because "as far is our team is concern providing tickets from the box office is not good enough." They wanted me to provide them actual copies of the mobile tickets I used to enter the concert venue. I could not do this because the tickets disappear from the MLB Ballpark App after they are used at the event. The only way I could get a screenshot of the tickets was if I was smart enough to do so at the stadium.
Having a business operate as unethical as SeatGeek blows my mind. I feel like I'm not the only one this has happened to and my hopes in writing this review is that someone can avoid this frustrating situation in the future. SeatGeek makes you jump through hoops to prove tickets were sold in violation of their own Buyer Guarantee, and then when you provide multiple forms of physical evidence, they still continue to push back and make you obtain copies of evidence they know is no longer obtainable.
If you are reading this - think twice before using SeatGeek to purchase tickets. If you do, please be sure to document the following.- screenshot of the tickets you purchase on the listing screen in Seat Geek
- the order confirmation screen
- screenshot of your electronic tickets before they disappear forever
- pictures of your seats

Well, They sold tickets they did not have control of. The Event was World Series Game 4, Chase Field AZ. Sold at 1pm Game at 5pm. So in the end, after 4 hours of wrangling, email assurance that the issue was resolved and we would receive the tickets in 10-15 minutes... Nada. Nothing. Zip. Zero. An "error" just occurred and the transaction cannot be completed. 4 hours AFTER THAT they were still "pending" and the event was OVER. So they sold us tickets that they didn't have, essentially.

On June 7th, right after hearing Messi was going to Miami, I bought tickets to see him on SeatGeek, to the closest team, Charlotte. The money came out of my account and the order status on my SeatGeek account page had the tickets listed as ‘waiting for confirmation’. It was like that on my account page from June 7th until today, the day of the game. Under the SeatGeek FAQs it says ‘confirmation’ will come within 24 hours of the event. Today when it still had my tickets listed as ‘waiting for confirmation’ I called Seatgeeks. After waiting on hold for 30+ minutes the guy tells me those tickets were canceled on June 8th. Obviously the tickets were canceled because the ticket prices went way up later the day I purchased them. I don’t know how this isn’t against the law but what are you going to do? That was my first and last experience with SeatGeek.

We purchased 2 tickets for an event a few weeks ago. The tickets never materialized...The vendor would not respond to Seat Geek after multiple messages. I was contacting Seat Geek about not receiving our tickets right up until an hour before the event. Finally gave up and purchased thru StubHub and all went smoothly. The following day I contacted SeatGeek again and told them I never received the tickets from them and wanted a refund. She checked into it, and said "yes you will receive a refund as well as our 20% guarantee amount" and asked for my PayPal account info, which I gave. Guess what....I got the original refund, but the 20% "guarantee" amount never materialized. Am very uncomfortable with their having my PayPal account number now...Why did they ask for it? I purchased tickets to see Brett Goldstein in July of 2023. A few days later I received an email stating I needed to return my tickets to SeatGeek, not knowing I had already received the tickets. I contacted SeatGeek through their online contact, since there is no phone number attached to SeatGeek. I did not receive a refund nor did I want one since I wanted my tickets to the show. Explaining this to SeatGeek they assured me I would have the tickets. For months they continued to give me the run around about my tickets and why I am not able to retrieve them.
Two weeks prior to the show I was told I would have the tickets 24 hours before the show. The show is tomorrow and I still do not have my tickets and they sent me another link, which I am still unable to retrieve my tickets. This is the worse site to purchase tickets from. Never again will I ever buy tickets from them and I would advise anyone to never consider using this site for tickets. Worse experience ever!!

SeatGeek sucks! Their handling of our NFL tickets to see the Jets and Kansas City game was an absolute disaster. We purchased the tickets over 8 weeks in advance, hoping to secure a memorable experience and instead received the nightmare of uncertainty and frustration. The biggest issue with SeatGeek was their complete lack of confirmation regarding our ticket purchase. We reached out to customer support multiple times, but I could not get through to an actual person to provide any reassurance or answers, leaving us hanging until the very day of the game.
Since we were unable to make proper travel and lodging arrangements, we were left with no choice but to purchase tickets again through another provider (Stubhub) the day before the game. This last-minute purchase not only cost us extra money, but it also added unnecessary stress and anxiety to our overall experience. It is simply unacceptable for a ticketing platform like #SeatGeek to leave their customers in the dark for such a long period of time. Our experience with SeatGeek was nothing short of a disappointment. Their inability to provide confirmation, their lack of communication, and the subsequent need to purchase tickets elsewhere tarnished what should have been a simple transaction.

You simply want to purchase a soccer ticket on a Friday night and you get severely punished for it. I don't think I've ever used Seatgeek without encountering awful bugs. As buyer and as a seller. The ticket I bought refused to download. It says, "Try again in a few seconds" over and over forever. It should never say try again in a few seconds when it's never going to resolve, that's just cheap incompetent programming and a billion-dollar corporation can afford better. So I contact customer service, I wait 20 minutes to get somebody, then the person keeps putting me on hold.
Eventually I make a comment about how frustrating it is that they should have such buggy website and I get "Grace has left the conversation" - she hung up on me and then disabled my ability to reconnect. Now when I try to ask for customer service it says "CHAT IS NO LONGER AVAILABLE". There's no phone number to call, no way now to get help I'm forced to call AmEx to charge it back. They tell me I have to wait four days to do that. So that's what you get for simply trying to spend two minutes buying a ticket, that's what you get from corporations these days, total disregard total disrespect and abuse and nobody cares. When I inconvenience a customer in my (small) business they do not have to ask for compensation I go out of my way to make things right. SeatGeek was unwilling to work with myself and seller to get a replacement. They were also unwilling to connect me with seller to resolve the matter. It’s my fault for losing the band in the first place. But since there was a way to get it replaced I don’t understand why SeatGeek would first give me the false, repeated impression of helping only to never really help. I paid $240 in SeatGeek fees for these wristbands. Besides wristband authentication, I a lot more service and I’d also expect a resolution on such a simple (and I’m sure not unusual) problem…

Seat Greek failed to mention additional charge per ticket, which is close to $100. each addition above show cost per ticket. Then you will be very frustrated when find out not as easy should be to cancel before commitment of total cost. If this company was reliable as claimed they would be upfront of total cost, show a telephone number to speak to someone, or at least have cancellation much easier; truth is they're only interested in sells, not customer service. You have to understand their return policy before you purchase. It's obvious that you can't return them for a refund of any kind, just a promo code that expires in 1 year. But if you want to recoup you money, you have to sell the tickets on either their platform or another. Unfortunately, they sell E-tickets with a revolving QR code, which cannot be resold anywhere. Very shady practice. I would have loved to learn this before spending $740. I will not be purchasing tickets from SeatGeek, and would happily spend a premium with another platform. Purchased tickets for a concert 4 hours away. Found that same tour closer to me only 1 hour away and less time away. Did the SeatGeek Swap which was a nightmare. I unknowingly received tickets in a completely different app that I have never heard of before. SeatGeek needed the original tickets returned before they could process the swap. After the headache of finding the tickets finally, I returned them and waited for my refund credit to go onto my account. It came to me a few days after. I went to buy the tickets to the closer show, and to my surprise, the tickets were cheaper. I come to find out that the credit is for 1 time use only. So if I had bought $100 in tickets, I would have just thrown the other $250 out. I was forced to purchase unneeded, more expensive tickets in fear of having the remaining amount just thrown away. I HATE BUYING TICKETS ANYMORE!!!
These ticket platforms rake you over rocks with fees and taxes, give you the run around just to get your tickets and get no backlash in return. Customer service was okay, mostly nice but one idiot in the beginning didn't help my frustrating situation. Kept asking the same question in different ways ("Do you have your tickets?" after I clearly stated more than three times that I had never received them.) When I repurchased the tickets, they were sent to Ticketmaster without my knowledge (once again sending my tickets places that they didn't tell me). I wish that these platforms would disappear and we could stop getting constantly ** by the extra charges that America (the rich) love so much. SeatGeek sold us two tickets at ~$600 each, and then was unable to deliver the ticket. This industry can use some regulation. Is there any legitimate reason that an electronic ticket cannot be delivered instantaneously following payment in this day and age? No! SeatGeek should feel shamed for establishing a platform for scammers. U.S. law need to prohibit the sale of tickets that cannot be delivered on a routine basis, or sellers need to compensate buyer with 2X of the ticket price (that can clean up this industry too).

On 3/7/22, I went on the Seat Geek website to look for a single ticket to the NCAA Championship hockey game in Tampa on 3/8/22. There were resale tickets, but of course the game was technically "sold out" since it was the Division I college hockey championship game. I purchased (I thought) a ticket at a fairly high price in the 3rd level, but it was a decent seat. While waiting for the transaction to finalize, I received a message that stated something to the effect of "We're sorry but those seats are no longer available." No biggie, but time being of essence, I immediately began searching for another seat. Found one in a couple minutes (not as good), and again entered my card information to purchase. While waiting for that transaction to finalize, I received an email stating that the transaction for the first seat was complete and my seat was confirmed!
Needless to say, 1 person doesn't need 2 seats on the opposite side of the arena to the same sporting event, so I immediately initiated a chat session to end the transaction for the purchase of the second seat, which was still pending. Bottom line: after a long chat session, during which (10 minutes later) the second transaction finalized, an additional email to Seat Geek, a phone call the next day, and 2 promises by their CS reps to have a supervisor call me to resolve, I was "stuck" with the second (expensive plus exorbitant fees) ticket - even though I didn't even accept its transfer, and told them that I wasn't going to accept it. I have a feeling that they are likely doing this to multiple customers.
If you think about it, if a customer gets stuck with more tickets than they need, even if they dispute the transaction (which I will do through my bank) Seat Geek still gets paid. If the customer resells the extra ticket(s) Seat Geek gets 10% of that plus the exorbitant fees. Win win - for Seat Geek. I will never use them again. They are dishonest and their CS is terrible. I assumed it was just a quick fix. I contacted them at 9 AM to get this straightened out. They assured me they would be transferred to us before tip off and should happen shortly.
After waiting an hour, I got nervous and called/opened a chat simultaneously, as the transfer of ownership still had not taken place. I had no tickets in my account, did not receive the email to accept them. They then had me login to ticketmaster to see if they were there again. I advised for the second time that I had not received the transfer of ownership, only the confirmation. I again took screenshots of my empty ticketmaster account with no tickets. Confirmed emails matched for Seatgeek and my ticketmaster account. Checked spam and promotions. Nothing.
They advised us to go to the box office with confirmation email. We go to the box office. They show I have no tickets and that the owner had already transferred. That's all they could tell us. I am assuming that they sold our tickets twice or the seller made a mistake. My family of five was humiliated, turned away from Footprint Center with no tickets and all we got was a refund at 120%. Yet, with the concert an hour away, we have no tickets. SeatGeek now says they have no obligation to provide tickets and are simply a "marketplace". Incredibly rude and deceitful staff who care not about their own customers. They protect their bottom line at all costs. We have yet to receive a refund or tickets.

First of all there is no phone number for SeatGeek. I spent over $800 on Broadway tickets with enormous service fees, and then two out of three of us got Covid. Contacting them by email was frustrating and interminable. They took days to respond. They first said they could issue me a Promo Code but refused to explain what that was, and then rescinded that offer. They advised me to repost my tickets on their website, charging yet another fee, and I should try to sell them. Of course there was a problem posting them! I never could! Stay away from them!

By the time the representative apologized and advised us to go with another vendor, after finally accepting the issue was not my payment, we only had 1hr before kick-off and the stadium locked the gates on my daughter's first football game. Looked for two tickets, found them, got through the confirmation. Their website during the purchase process to one. I immediately called, and asked to exchange for two. There is no customer service number, their chat box closes if you leave it to get the order number (which they ask for), and it becomes a whole process. Three people, four attempts, and nowhere later, they told me to sell my ticket (and "hope it sells") and purchase two more for them. I wouldn't recommend them to my exhusband, nor my worst enemy. My experience was that bad. I wound up purchasing two other tickets from another seller, and am still "hope that it sells" for my ticket through them. PS they take a chunk for selling it.

Terrible terrible service!!!!! Do not use. (I don't want to give any stars but have to in order to give my review.) I bought tickets several months ago for a game as a present for our twin boys. We also also had to arrange for transportation and hotel so we put a lot of money into this for the game. They say the venue won't release the tickets until the day before for security but it really is just a scam.
The morning before the event we get a notice saying our tickets are no longer available so we can have a refund (which is usually just credit, not money back) or we can accept other tickets, which were not as good, but we would not receive the difference in cost. Having already paid for the hotel and transportation, not to mention two disappointed kids, I really didn't have too much of a choice. SeatGeek told me I accepted their terms. Really? I agreed to being scammed us out of $500 and bad seats? The day before the event? Very bad business practice. I will never use again and I will definitely make sure I tell others not to use their services ever as well.

Very sad and frustrating experience, and it will deter me from buying Broadway tickets from them going forward. There was a technical glitch on the SeatGeek website with tickets appearing then disappearing. I tried purchasing tickets in Row A but got an error message. So, assuming that the tickets in Row A had been purchased just that quick, I purchased tickets in Row B.
Minutes later, I noticed that the tickets in Row A had reappeared. I then chatted with a rep from SeatGeek to request an exchange for the tickets in Row A that had reappeared (same price). The tickets actually disappeared and reappeared again for the representative. In the end, the reps there are powerless and need to "escalate" the issue to the "assigned team." Many hours later, I called back, and they simply said, "All sales final." There was no consideration that a technical glitch on their side caused the issue and my dissatisfaction. Ticketmaster was much more responsive with better customer service values.

I purchased two tickets to the Elton John concert in Columbus, OH, scheduled for 4/25/20, but it was cancelled due to Covid. It was rescheduled for 4/12/22. When we arrived at the arena, our tickets did not appear on my phone app. I contacted SeatGeek's customer service, and we messaged back and forth for an hour-and-a-half. The customer service rep said she looked and could not find where our tickets were, but she did have the original invoice showing that I paid $686 for two tickets. She then said she was going to try to contact the seller. What? Two years after I bought the tickets and you're contacting the seller? Shouldn't those tickets have been surrendered by the seller at the moment I purchased them?
We did not get in to see the concert. Over the next couple of days, the rep and I continued to communicate via messenger. She asked for verification that I had paid for the tickets, including asking me for the last 4 digits of my credit card and other information. A few days later she wrote that her support team decided to give me a 50% refund. I declined, stating that I should not be held financially responsible for the tickets since I never received them. I asked for a 100% refund. This has now gone on for almost two months, and I keep getting the run-around. Just the other day the rep said her support team had decided to offer me a 75% refund. NO, I want a 100% refund...and I went on to remind the rep about SeatGeek's refund policy as it pertained to my situation.
I then wrote to her, asking for an explanation as to why SeatGeek is not giving me a total refund. Her response was: "I've raised your concern again to our higher support team and already got their response. And as per them, we can offer you a 75% promo code refund. Since you had plenty of time to request for a retransfer and you could have also checked their SG account for the transfer link." ...Tina, SeatGeek Customer Service
I don't know what that means. Oh, a few weeks earlier the rep said I wouldn't receive a full refund because I didn't attend the concert. Well no ####. OK, I feel silly even explaining this one, but since I had not gotten the tickets, as we had discussed several times, how would I have gotten into the concert? Does that mean if I had gone to the concert, SeatGeek would have refunded my money for tickets I didn't receive to get into the concert? Try to wrap your head around that logic. So, let's imagine, just for fun, that the SeatGeek Fairy came to town, waved her Magic SeatGeek Wand, and beamed us into the concert. In that theoretical but ridiculous setting, why would I be asking for a refund?

A section I DID NOT choose, it's like as soon as I hit purchase the section changed but I was charged the same. I ended up with tickets worth waaay less than what I actually paid for them. Customer service was of no help. They said I got the tickets I purchased and I told them I know what section I had added to my cart and what actually came through after the purchase was not correct. There was no way for me to prove it because who takes screenshots of your cart prior to purchasing, you just trust you are going to get what you have added in there. They told me to sell them, who in their right mind would pay double for tickets when they could buy them cheaper?!
I would not get my money back and I couldn't cancel or get a refund. I just bought tickets on the Seat Geek platform. The only plus was that it was easy to use. They charged me a hefty premium for the tickets. That's on me. But once I entered my credit card info and submitted my order I was expecting to at least know exactly where my seats were. Not just a general area. Not so lucky. I have to wait 3 months to find out what I just paid for. I tried calling customer service. Oh look, no phone number. Sign number 1 you are dealing with a company that is shady. Reputable companies will have a phone number to discuss customer issues.
I was able to do a chat with a rep. She wasn't able to give me any info or a refund. She said the tickets have already been allocated to me and can't be returned. I asked a common sense question: if the tickets can't be returned because they've already been allocated to me, how come you don't know where they are. She said I'll find out when I get them in 3 months. These tickets were supposed to be a gift. Happy birthday. Here's a receipt for some tickets for seats that are somewhere around this area on the seat map that will hopefully show up in 3 months or so. First and last time using this company.

I purchased tickets to a baseball game on March 20, 2022. The seller on the SeatGeek website indicated they could transfer the tickets to me on March 31. Historically, electronic tickets are usually in my inbox by the end of the day I purchase them, but when they did not arrive in my email or my ballpark App, as was indicated, I decided to wait until the deadline the website had indicated. Of course, I still didn’t receive the tickets by then, so I reached out to their email support team. Leo indicated he would reach out to the seller to initiate the transfer. After a week with no results, I followed up. He indicated he will reach out again and escalate. Another week goes by, with no tickets.
Now I call their customer support, since I’m a week away from the event. The first representative, Natalie, claimed to have escalate the matter and would attempt to reach out to the seller again. Two days go by with no results, so I reach out again. Curtis indicated he would attempt to reach the seller while I waited on hold. Of course, he still can’t reach them, and somehow, during the call, the status of my order changes from confirmed to transfer initiated, which is odd since I never received any confirmation about this transfer. He then indicates their escalation team claims the tickets can be found on the AXS platform or Ticketmaster. Although the transaction seemed to indicate they would be on the ballpark all, I humored Curtis and checked both accounts. Of course they were not there, so he claimed he would work with their support team to see what happened and call me back.
One day goes by, and no call back or tickets on any platform. I call today, April 9, 2022, two days prior to my event, which in their guarantee in the SeatGeek terms and conditions is the latest I should receive these tickets, and I work with Geraldine and Catherine to try and get some traction on either a.) getting me my tickets or b.) issue a refund, since the sale is null and void without the product. Both individuals continuously repeated themselves by saying they needed to reach out to the seller, although they did that for two weeks straight (as indicated in their notes).
They refused to issue the refund, so I just disputed it on my credit card to get the money back, bought two new tickets (fortunately), which were $100 cheaper than SeatGeek, and now I’m writing my first of many reviews to warn people that this organization not only humors fraud on their platform but refuse to do anything to stop it, even though they have policies that would allow them to charge a fraud fee to the seller and collect mine and their money. Here I am 48 hours later waiting to get a call because apparently the managers "don't have their own extension" just to retell my situation for the 7th time. That is a LOT of money that I lost thanks to this website and to no surprise they won't take accountability for their actions. It is absolutely RIDICULOUS that I have to go to such extreme measures when this website is the one at fault for not having proper security measures for their customers. I will never purchase anything from them again and will be posting this review on every site possible to ensure that anyone considering using this site turns away. If you are looking to buy tickets, use Ticketmaster and save yourself the struggle and time of dealing with such a sketchy company.

Buyers Beware!! Carefully read ALL policies for SeatGeek before you purchase any tickets, especially during the Covid-19 pandemic. Even though they give an option to sell thru them in lieu of a non-refund, it is very difficult, time consuming, and expensive. You will definitely lose money if you can not attend an event. I had Covid and was in quarantine around the time of the event during the big Dec/Jan Covid surge. I was not able to sell my tickets in time due to their difficult process with lacks easy to find information and their delays to respond from their end for information requests on how to do so. I had 2 tickets in my cart and was filling out the order form. Each ticket had a fee of $90. When I went to make the purchase it said the tickets were no longer available. I selected new tickets that were $5 dollars more expensive. I purchased these but noticed the fee was now $146 per ticket. Feeling great urgency I bought these tickets before they also disappeared regardless of the 1000% increase in fee. I later reached out to Seat Geek and received an email several days later basically saying that fees vary. In my opinion, when a ticket price increases $5 and Seat Geek fee increases $56 that is unethical. I also felt it was predatory since the previous tickets suddenly vanished and I felt pressured to buy new tickets and just accept the increased fee or my new tickets would vanish.
Also, there was no warning that my initial tickets were no longer available. Other sites hold your tickets while you input the payment information and there is usually a clock that shows how much longer you have to reserve the tickets. Also, it seems impossible to speak to anyone at SeatGeek. They send canned responses and customer service has zero authority to do the right thing.

The event was postponed to a date in which we could not make so I wanted to sell the tickets back on SeatGeek. Their software would not let me do that because the tickets were not "past the scheduled event date".
After 6 weeks of emails and phone calls the last lady basically said, "You cannot sell them on our site, sorry, good luck." Now we are out $200 and the company will not help sell our tickets or give a refund...bottom line, the company knows their software will not allow postponed events for selling tickets, has the power to change the software, however does not care to do so. Yes, they know they can make money and not change their policies. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM SEATGEEK. They love to take your money however will NOT work with you when events change. I suspect other respectable companies will allow this...if you go that direction you may save $$s from a SeatGeek scam.

I purchased athletic tickets in August of 2021 for the Ohio State Buckeyes game at Ohio Stadium in Columbus for the Nov. 20, 2021 game against Michigan State. The total amount I paid for two tickets was $597.48, a once in a lifetime purchase for my husband and me, as an anniversary gift. When we got to the game, we realized our view was severely obstructed by two large pillars in front of us, which prevented us from seeing most of the game. After the game, most of which we could not see, I emailed The Ohio State University Athletics Ticket Office and was told that our seats in B Deck were originally designated as OBSTRUCTED VIEW by Ohio State, the original venue. However, Ohio State could not control what was disclosed by SEATGEEK, a third party vendor.
I called SeatGeek to try to resolve the issue, and even though they never disclosed the OBSTRUCTED VIEW information as they should have prior to my purchase, they refused to honor their guarantee. I never would have paid that much for the tickets if I had the information that the seats were OBSTRUCTED VIEW, as designated by Ohio State, the original venue. No refund of any kind was offered. I had no other option to get my money back so I decided to do so. To my surprise, the SeatGeek systems require US mobile number in order to work and sell my tickets. Without a US mobile number, you cannot sell your tickets! When I contacted customer service about it, instead of issuing a refund, I was told to search on Google for an alternative platform to sell my tickets... This is where everything went wrong.
At 8:30 in the morning ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT I HAD TICKETS FOR, I emailed seatgeek asking them to re-send my tickets. I went through all the extra info they needed to screen me, etc. By 2pm I hadn't heard anything, so I reached out again---PLEASE NOTE, THERE IS NO WAY TO CALL THEM, EITHER---THIS IS BY DESIGN, I'M SURE. They emailed me back at 3pm and said they had to reach out to the vendor I bought my tickets from, and would be in touch.
Well, the event I was going to started in a few hours so time was short. And it sure as hell wasn't a priority to seatgeek. Finally, at 6:30pm I got tired of waiting and ordered the same tickets for the same event through StubHub. And Stubhub emailed me my tickets, but also kept them available to me on their website. I understand businesses and employees have no control what has happened regarding Covid, but stealing money from people who have purchased tickets for events is beyond wrong. Why shouldn’t I have the option to be refunded for an event versus having to wait over a year for it to be rescheduled and on a date I can’t even go? Then, to top it off, customer service is completely unreachable! I sat on hold for over an hour trying to reach someone via phone to either get assistance with selling or getting a credit to my account due to being unable to go to the rescheduled event that I was only give a 5 days notice for. I purchased 5 tickets for the LA Chargers vs. Minnesota Vikings game at SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Sunday, November 14th through the online ticket exchange, SeatGeek. This transaction was completed using my son’s SeatGeek account and paid for using my Chase debit card. After the transaction was completed, there was no confirmation of the transaction; no email, no text message, nothing. The only evidence of the transaction was the $515.40 coming out of my Chase checking account.
On November 9, after nearly 2 months of not being able to confirm the transaction, I called the SeatGeek customer service phone number, which was found using a Google search. After holding for 35 minutes, a customer service agent named Adrian picked up the phone. I explained to Adrian that I was trying to confirm the aforementioned transaction.
I referenced my son’s email address, as this is the address associated with his SeatGeek account and after 20 seconds of looking for it, Adrian told me that he couldn’t locate the transaction and that I should contact my bank because the $515.40 never made it to them. He told me that the case had been “escalated” and that a supervisor would be contacting me about the matter. I asked if I could speak to a supervisor now and Adrian told me that there was no one to speak to now and that SeatGeek’s policy is to convey such messages to a supervisor who will contact the customer at a later time, but short of that, my only recourse is to seek reimbursement from my bank.
After I expressed my dissatisfaction, Adrian told me that there is nothing further that he could do about the matter and that I need to wait for a call from a supervisor. As it sits now, my family won’t be going to a game this Sunday, I’m out $515.40 and my bank is going to laugh at me when I explain to them that a SeatGeek customer service agent told me that Chase needs to give me back my money.

I don't usually post things like this, but I felt the need to share. My dad's 80th birthday is on Sunday and we purchased tickets for really good seats to the Dallas Cowboys vs. Denver Broncos game this Sunday as an extra special, once in a lifetime, birthday treat. I spent $4000 and we were so excited to go. Sadly, I got CoVID two weeks ago, and then my dad had to unexpectedly have an emergency heart surgery on Monday, followed by an Alzheimer's diagnosis on Tuesday. Given all of that, we decided yesterday we clearly couldn't go to the game.
I called SeatGeek to ask about a refund since this was an emergency and 100% out of our control. After sitting on hold for nearly an hour, I was told that there was no way I could get a refund. Then the customer service person flippantly suggested that I try and sell them (as if I hadn’t already tried). After I told him that was ridiculous that I couldn’t get a refund for such a serious reason and that that is a terrible policy, he got loud with me.
Now I know a phone line customer service person is not going to be able to do anything and doesn't make the rules, and that he probably got loud because he spends all day getting yelled at for ** he can't control, but SeatGeek WTF? I will never purchase tickets from you again and will make sure to tell everyone I know not to purchase tickets from you either. I understand not giving refunds for bad weather, missed flights, etc., but a real emergency, what is your problem? How have you stayed in business treating customers so poorly? And here's the thing, if they were cheap seats, it wouldn't even matter. I would have just given them away, but they weren't. It was supposed to be a special day. I went all out. I saved forever and spent more money than I make in a month for this really special thing.
My dad is sick. The last thing I want to worry about right now is tickets to some game, but based on your employees' suggestion, I should neglect those things and look for places to sell my tickets online because I have nothing more important to do and so many people are willing to drop a ridiculous amount of money on tickets to be used 3 days from now that it'll be a breeze.
I’m sure you’ll hide this post and that in the end it doesn’t really matter to you if you lose my business, but I hope whichever greedy person decided that was how your company should operate, and all the people that went along with it, get explosive diarrhea, while stuck in traffic, in the brand new car of their pregnant mistress, in which the windows are broken and won’t roll down, while the person they admire most just happens to be on the same congested freeway and gets just enough room in traffic to pull up next to them to clearly see them spewing filth out of all their orifices. Good day to you!

I bought tickets to a football game, and while I was unsure about my ability to make the game, I continued with the purchase because the following language was on the purchase confirmation page: "Returnable until 4:25pm on Sept. 9; Return your tickets for no extra cost. No questions asked." On Sept. 8, I tried to return the tickets, only to find out that I was only able to swap the tickets for future credit. This was not explained at all on the purchase confirmation page. I tried to find a customer support email or number on the website, to no avail.
I hunted down their phone number using another website, called them, and waited nearly an hour to speak to a live representative. She told me that the tickets could not be returned and canceled altogether - I could only get a credit if requested 72 hours before the game. She did say that she would appeal that to a supervisor and that I would receive a message back with further instructions. I asked her whether I would still be able to at least get the credit if, by the time I heard back from the supervisor, it was within 72 hours. She assured me that would be no problem.
I heard back from the supervisor within 72 hours of the game, denying my request to completely cancel the tickets, referring to fine print language in their user agreement that all sales were final (and did not address the explicit language quoted above on the purchase confirmation page). He also did not leave a name or contact number, and he did not address how to at least get the credit (which was no longer available to me now that it was within 72 hours).
I wrote back to an email address by responding to a message that the very first rep had sent me. Surprisingly, she contacted me by phone and assured me that I would be able to get the credit because I had called in before the 72 hour deadline and indicated my intent to return the tickets. But she did not know how to facilitate that process and told me she would contact me by phone or email later that evening. She did not, and she hasn't responded to the three emails I've sent as a follow up... now two days later.
Over the past few days, I have spent HOURS waiting on hold while calling their customer service line. The system disconnected with me several times. A couple times, after an hour or more of waiting, no one picked up. No return. No credit. The game is now just about 5 hours from starting, and I am likely to be screwed completely out of over $700.
Avoid this company like the plague. I am also asking anyone else to contact me if they have been induced to purchase a ticket through this company because of the assurance that the ticket would be "returnable" and not simply exchangeable. There may be a viable class action claim to be made on behalf of all such customers. To the senior management of this company: I will gladly update my review if I receive a full reimbursement for my purchase, but that notwithstanding, this company is in dire need of better leadership, policies and procedures, specifically as it pertains to customer service.

I bought Garth Brook tickets and he at first rescheduled his tour due to covid. I asked for a refund and they said they could only give me a promo code credit or I could use the tickets when the Tour/concert was back on. I explained I am 5 months pregnant and not able to go to a future show, but that changed nothing. Garth ended up canceling the tour so I asked again for a refund since there was now, no concert at all. They still refused. I paid 800 bucks for the two tickets and they could not deliver on that business transaction. It is illegal to keep someone's money when they gave it for a specific product and you no longer have that product. I do not want a credit, this company is shady and a scam.

Updated on 04/15/2022: My tickets were not delivered on time for my event. It has been over 8 months and I have not received a refund. I have not even had contact from the company to respond to my many requests for an update.
Original Review: The tickets I ordered and paid for were not delivered on time. The customer service rep did not think it was a big deal since the tickets were delivered the day of the event, even though it was several hours after the event started. Also, I do not live in the vicinity and would not be able to physically get there before the show was over. I have not been reassured that I will get my money back, over $500.

A ticket for an event was purchased and provided by SeatGeek that was not a valid form of entry to the event. Their Buyer Guarantee clearly states "Your tickets will provide valid entry to the event" and "If any of these things do not occur, you will be provided with comparable or better tickets to the event, or offered a refund." SeatGeek was contacted immediately when the ticket arrived and was discovered to not be useable. The wristband came tightened to the point that it is not wearable and the design of the clasp is such that it is impossible to loosen once it is tightened. I waited on hold for a collective 4 hours, was hung up on and given the runaround for one week until they told me they would not offer a refund for their mistake nor provide a valid replacement ticket to the event. This business practice is nothing short of a scam. They do not honor their Buyer Guarantee and do not care about their customers, their time or their money.

Absolute disaster of a company. AVOID AT ALL COSTS! I really wish I had read these reviews before ordering tickets. My tickets were never delivered to me even though the app and their "customer service" said they were. "Princess", the inaudible support rep never called me back and we would up at Citi Field for a Met game with no tickets and out nearly $200. I tried calling them and waited for thirty minutes until game time and just ended up hanging up. I still have not heard back from them six hours later despite a promise that they would contact me. An absolute sham of a business.

Would give 0 stars if I could. I bought tickets two years ago for an event. They never arrived. Within 24hrs of the event, I spent 2 hours on hold waiting for a Customer Service rep. Never answered and I eventually gave up. I also sent two emails to their customer service email- never heard back. I can't even contact anyone to request a refund, so I spent $250 on absolutely nothing. I will never use this company again.

I was looking at a parking pass in the NEW Seatgeek app on my phone but the $56 price was a complete ripoff so I went to the Mets website and purchased a pass directly from them using my PC. Later that evening I checked my email and was shocked to see an email from SeatGeek confirming my purchase of a parking pass! Not sure what the heck happened but I DID NOT authorize this purchase. I emailed customer service and an agent by the name of JARVEY told me he could issue me a $55 promo code once I agreed to not use/resell the tickets in an email which I did. And THAT is where ALL communication ended. I HAD been fully willing to accept a promo-code instead of a refund but at this point I've had it and will be leaving the disputed charge in place.
This isn't the first problem I've had with SeatGeek but it WILL be the last! They will never see another dime of my hard-earned money and I was stupid to give them another chance!!!! Again DO NOT buy anything from these folks ... The slightest problem and you'll be out in the cold unable to actually reach anyone competent that can help. (Order number: **)

I purchased Rams/Bronco January 2022 tickets for a surprise 16th birthday for my son. The tickets were pricey, But after I checked out, I noticed the total was almost double! To my horror there was a $406/seat fee (for what I don't know). This info was not displayed on the purchase details. I contacted SeatGeek twice trying to find out info about the fee and options. They were extremely slow to respond and said - we're just a broker site. Didn't provide me with any way to escalate or contact the seller. At least Ticketmaster publishes their fees upfront!

I processed a purchase for US Open Tennis tickets for 4, in the amount of $3384. During processing, I was kicked out of their system. Thinking the transaction didn't go through, I purchased again the same 4 tickets (same seats, same day, same session). I found out later that I was charged twice, $3384 x 2 = $6768. I reached out to SeatGeek via phone and email. They will not refund one of the orders, even though it's a duplicate, for the same seats. Why would I purchase same seats, same session, and paid twice the amount? SeatGeek is dishonest!!! My lawyer is looking into this...Be WARNED, do not do business with this company.

I emailed SeatGeek and was Informed that I would get the tickets the DAY before the concert. I am unable to go and will have less than 24 hours to try and sell the tickets once I receive them (SeatGeek has given me no opportunity to swell them ahead of time either). I am EXTREMELY disappointed and I will NEVER use SeatGeek again. They have lost my business. I have bought tickets to many concerts, sporting events etc and have never seen tickets handled this way. I purchased a pair of tickets directly from the box office via SeatGeek to the Bruce Springsteen on Broadway for August 2021. Unfortunately, I learned 16 days before the concert that I would not be able to attend and promptly set about trying to resell the tickets on the SeatGeek Marketplace as it appeared to be the most straightforward and simplest route since my tickets were digital. It has been a week since I tried to set up my account.
SeatGeek easily took my credit card information for their Buyer Guarantee program but setting up the "Payout Method" - in other words, how you will be paid - has been a nightmare. They fail to tell you that when you get a "listing failed" error message it is due to the identity verification requirement, which you complete by sending in a copy of a government-issued photo ID, which I get (I actually work in that business). But instead of making this crystal clear in advance, whether in their FAQs or elsewhere as you are setting up your account to sell your tickets, they only tell you to email them once you get that fail/error message. Only after you email them do you receive an automated message that tells you the ID verification information.
Once you've done that, it is radio-silence, as it has been for me for the past 6 days; no updates and every time I try to set up the "Payout Method" on the account, it fails. For a concert that happens in 10 days. They don't answer emails and provide no phone number. I found an alternate email address which also auto-replies with the following:
"Hi there, Thanks for reaching out to SeatGeek customer support! We’re currently experiencing a much higher volume of requests than usual, but we are doing our best to respond to all emails as quickly as possible. If your issue is urgent and your event is within 3 days, you can contact our support team via phone by logging into your SeatGeek account on the SeatGeek mobile app and clicking "Contact Support" under your Ticket details."
So I have to wait until 3 days before the show to ATTEMPT to sell my tickets....and who the hell knows if SeatGeek will even respond to "Contact Support" on their app, since they don't respond to either of their email addresses. I have next to ZERO confidence in this company...how do they not think through something as basic as warning their potential re-sellers that the mandatory identity verification is going to take XX amount of days? Banks and other merchants where you are inputting banking information will ALWAYS ask to verify your identity - accounts are opened every day, 24 hrs a day and the turnaround process on identity verification should be at most a day or two. The fact that it has been a week with SeatGeek really tells me they are running a subpar operation. While there are a number of attractive things about buying tickets through them, I would stay away from them if you think you may have to sell those tickets.

WILL NEVER BUY TICKETS FROM SEATGEEK AGAIN EVER!!! Purchased US Open Tennis Tournament Tickets for two different dates (3rd SEP – 4 tickets bought and 6th SEP – 2 tickets bought) in two different ticket orders, specifically for Louis Armstrong Stadium. Received wrong tickets for both the orders. Can you believe it. Seller sent me tickets for Grandstand stadium instead of Louis Armstrong stadium for both orders. Seatgeek finally replied after few weeks, and they can’t help or get the tickets I initially purchased. They simply said sorry and offered to refund the money. This caused us a great deal of inconvenience as we booked our hotel room, and it ruined our entire plan. Now, the ticket prices have gone higher if I to re-purchase those tickets.
Based on this experience, I think the sellers on SeatGeek are doing this purposely so they can sell the correct tickets for the correct venue with higher prices as we get closer to the US open days. SeatGeek needs have better control or have some restriction to prevent issues like this. I saw similar review on this page where someone got the wrong tickets as well. REALLY DISAPPOINTED!!!

I am appalled at attitude that A.I. ins the cure all for all of life's woes. All it does is put the burden on the customer. Some they don't have to provide good service. Seat Geek is one of the most horrible experiences I have ever encountered. I paid almost $500 for two ticket to a high visibility SEC football game, and it has now been 2 months and I still don't have my tickets. Ownership changes when the money changes hands. I have owned those two tickets for two months now and I still have no tickets. I have asked for one of two things, my complete refund or my tickets.
I have too much invested on this event for this pinhead Jon "Jack" Groetzinger to play these games. I sent him notice that if I have to I can come to NY to get the tickets in person if he doesn't reply. No answer... So now I sent notice to his wife, and other members of his immediate family at the addresses. I am sure his family won't be very thrilled they are on my radar, so perhaps they can convince him to give me my damn tickets. I have about had it with this little 24 yr old skate-boarder. Do not ever do business with this gawd-awful company. If anyone feels the same way, just do your homework and get his family's addresses and bring them into the discussion.

I got an email saying that the site didn't have my tickets yet but that they would be in touch with further instructions on when and where I could pick these tickets up. Three hours before the concert and I still had not heard anything, I call back to ask for an update. Customer service gives me the run-around, saying that they are trying to get in touch with the seller and they will keep me informed. One hour before the show and I have still heard nothing.
We ended up having to buy expensive tickets just to get in to the venue because we waited up to the last minute for the purchased seats from SEAT GEEK to actually be delivered. Halfway through the concert, I get an email with the electronic tickets (these were Ticketmaster E-Tickets purchased and sold through the third party Seat Geek site). HALFWAY THROUGH THE CONCERT. What am I expected to do with this? The site offers a "buyer guarantee" and assures that you will get into your purchased event no questions asked. I called to get a refund the next day and continued to get the run-around from customer service.
I have the time-stamped email where the third-party seller sent the tickets well after showtime. I was hung up on twice and was told by one representative that he set up a scheduled call with his supervisor, which I have yet to receive. I would not recommend you ever use them unless you want to lose your money, be taken advantage of and have no one respond via email, text, chat or phone. I lost $1000 from tickets purchased due to a reschedule, not a cancellation, due to Covid and then told I had to use them or sell them because it was not cancelled.
