Terrible customer experience when working with Marcos and Pablo. My GF and I purchased tickets through SG for Bottle Rock. Only one ticket arrived while the other one never made it, but we were told it would be at the venue, no problem, not a big deal. When we arrived at the venue there was no 2nd ticket, so I connected with Pablo who then got Marcos involved. Later found out the ticket was offsite ready for pick up at a random hotel….We missed half the show. Marcos never helped us with explanation and wouldn’t let escalate. I’ll never use Seat Geek again and don’t recommend their service to anyone.

The absolute worst ticket company to buy from. Had to use them for a Vanderbilt Football Game as they were the chosen site for their tickets. Bought the tickets and due to a family illness, I was forced to cancel my trip and had to sell the tickets. Posted the tickets on Stubhub and had a buyer. The Seat Geek site would not allow me to transfer the tickets.
Over 3 days, I tried to contact someone via email as well as telephone. All I received was a return email saying they would get back to me within 24 hours. We are now 72 hours and nothing. I ended up selling the tickets through SeatGeek as I had no choice, for a lesser amount and now it looks like I am going to be charged by Stubhub for the cost of the tickets. I am losing twice on this transaction and SeatGeek is nowhere to be found. They will get you the tickets and then zero support other than a BOT. Stubhub was in constant communication with me, both BOT and humans and I will never use SeatGeek again....

The presale system is a complete luck of the draw. You can get there 1 second before the queue forms or a half hour before the queue forms and they just randomly give you a place in line. I got in their waiting room 20 minutes before the presale started. Once the queue was formed I waited in line for 40 minutes only to be welcomed to a small handful of tickets that every time I clicked on one I got the "This ticket has already been sold"

Good Afternoon. While I am not sure exactly what can be done, I do feel that I had to send a message about Seat Geek and their handling a situation on the re-sale of my 2025 Ryder Cup tickets. The use of Seat Geek was mandated for the original purchase of Ryder Cup tickets. The purchase process went well. I was charged the price of two Ryder Cup tickets in U.S. dollars which made the price more expensive in Canadian dollars. Not an issue, as I was glad to be able to purchases Ryder Cup tickets. Unfortunately, due to family illness, I was not able to attend the Ryder Cup at Bethpage. I then chose to re-sell the tickets through Seat Geek. The process was very easy and the tickets sold quickly. However, this was the point where I was very disappointed with Seat Geek.
Seat Geek did send me the funds from the re-sale of the tickets. The refund was limited to the Canadian funds only. While I was charged full U.S. pricing for the original purchase and the tickets were sold, with a healthy mark-up for Seat Geek, in U.S. funds, the funds sent to me for the re-sale were Canadian funds which was 30% less than what Seat Geek realized for the re-sale. Thank you for listening.

I fly out the week of, try to contact them 2 days before, one day before, 12 hours before, at this point I had to make other arrangements because I did not know if I would receive the tickets at all. They believe it's ok to hold their customer hostage in terms of providing the tickets in a reasonable time frame. Spent nearly 2 hours only to get another promise that my tickets would be delivered soon. I had to leave home the day of the game with no tickets in hand. While on my drive, the e-tickets arrived. They were in the same section but not the seats I had paid for. They were low and close to the field. I wouldn't have chosen them. I like seats with a higher view to better see the whole field. Purchased two premium priced seats for college football game in Section 106, row 12. We received confirmation of seats we purchased about a month before event. Late on the evening two days before our game, we received our tickets and they were on Row 10, not row 12 as purchased. We tried chatting with them but were receiving boilerplate language back from their Bot with no response to our complaint. We found a phone number through ChatGPT and finally got through to a representative at 4 pm MT the day before the game.
After a long conversation, she told us she would get us the tickets we purchased and would confirm this in an email. We did not hear back from her. The morning of the game, we started sending Urgent emails. A half hour before the game at 5:30 pm MT, we received an email back stating that the seller could substitute seats if they were within 5 rows of the original purchase and that they considered this an upgrade. We did not as the seats provided poorer visibility of the field. On September 4, six days AFTER the event, we finally received an email from the representative we spoke to on August 28 stating the 5 row policy.

My husband purchased tickets for Lady GaGa for my birthday. Ticketmaster shut us out of their site saying they thought we were a bot so all reasonable tickets were sold by the time we got in. So he purchased from Seatgeek. 10 days later he got an email saying the tickets had been transferred and to look for an email with a link. The email never came and we could make no contact with a human - just a useless chat cycle. We waited 5 months then were allowed to contact them by mail 7 days before the concert. Then followed 7 days of multiple calls per day, false promises of resolutions. One employee revealed they had had previous delivery problems with our seller (but they continued to allow them to scam customers on their platform).
After 6 days of me providing proof that I didn't have the tickets they finally decided to request from the seller a screenshot of the email address where he sent the tickets. He said he couldn't. Their resolution for me was to give him until 6 hours before the concert to send me the tickets or comparable ones. If I didn't have them by then they would give me a refund. So put the fate of my concert attendance in the hands of someone that had proven and recorded as a crook. Then give me a refund when there is no chance of getting tickets. How are they allowed to stay in business? They have foreigners answering the phone, mostly hard to understand and who cannot understand. I will give it to them, they are polite to a fault while they repeat useless answers and avoid telling the truth.

My grandkids got let down at last minute so I bought tickets for us all. Last min invite and viewing my tickets it said edit so I changed from 4 to 5 tickets. Instead of just adding 1 it bought 5 more tickets. I'm a grandma on disability. Between 2 paid parking passes and 9 tickets I paid $140+. I tried to get it fixed with no luck. When we scanned our tickets from my phone they scanned 2 too many. 7 tickets for 5 people. I tried selling or giving them away. I was only able to give 2 away because of the error at the gate. I spent an hour crying last night. I was just trying to do something for those kids after being disappointed. I spent most of my time at the gate trying to fix the error on the scanned tickets and waiting for the people I was trying to give the tickets to because my phone went dead and I couldn't call them.
I left the game early and didn't get to enjoy any of it with my grandkids so they got disappointed anyway and I ended up spending about $200. Couldn't even afford to buy myself a drink because I had to make sure the kids were able to get one. Maybe I did something wrong. I know I hit the edit button and changed it from 4 to 5 so I don't know how that was my fault. They need major fixes for buying tickets. I feel like that happens more than it should because they have a no refund for double buying already in their rules. So they know it happens. Fix the problem. My account is going to be overdrawn now due to automatic bills that are coming out of my account and I'm sick about it. I will honestly say I won't use SeatGeek again or recommend them.

I purchased tickets for a show out of state that I had to buy plane tickets and a hotel room for. My first problem with them is that the tickets were not listed as obstructed view until I put them in my Apple wallet. Upon further investigation they weren’t even the tickets I ordered, they were 3 rows back with an even worse obstructed view. When I asked them to give me my original tickets I ordered they said they couldn’t and that they would either offer me a 50% refund to keep the wrong tickets or a full refund and I could buy new ones. At the time of this discussion my trip was days away and completely paid for and tickets had gone up 4x in price. I could never have purchased the new tickets with the refund of what I paid originally. All I was asking was for my tickets I ordered or something comparable, it took up until 8 am the day of the concert to receive tickets comparable to the ones I originally paid for and I had to be persistent. When I complained about this to the BBB, they in turn complained about me.

Seatgeek steals your money! I bought tickets to a baseball game to try and get 7 seats in two rows. I bought tickets in the first row and then instantly price of the seats in the row in front of it increased but I bought them anyways. Then the seats it offered were adjacent to where the row behind was sitting so I listed these tickets for sale. I listed the 3 tickets for sale at $81 a ticket (what I paid, not including fees I paid) and after they sell I will only get $218 out of $243 for their 10% fee per ticket.
Here is the scam, when I look at the ticket price they are advertising, the tickets are listed at $96!! But I will only get the $218. This should be illegal. They use "Smart" pricing that adjusts the ticket price and it says if they sell the tickets for lower I would still get $218, but it does not say anything about them overpricing the tickets. There is a good chance these tickets will not sell due to how much they increased the ticket prices and if I go lower than $81/$96 per ticket they will lower the amount I am paid.
So, in addition to the $25 they are taking off the top in fees, they are getting an additional $15 on each ticket. To see what would happen, I adjusted my sale price to $96 and when I looked at available tickets for sale, they were listed at $113. That is insane and I am willing to jump on any lawsuit happening against this company. This is also provided these tickets actually are legit to this game. I bought nearly $700 worth of tickets through SeatGeek back in January for a concert in June. Since then, I’ve moved out of state and can’t attend. I tried every possible route to sell the tickets and literally couldn’t (like I literally couldn't even list the tickets because they were not eligible for resale). It was a dead end after dead end.
I reached out multiple times for help or assistance and was either given the runaround or outright ignored. I repeatedly asked to speak with a manager because the standard customer support was completely unhelpful — and every time, they blocked me. After days of trying, I finally got through to someone higher up. I asked for a refund, a credit, or at least a decent promo code. You know what they offered me? $50. For $700 in useless tickets. That’s not customer service — that’s corporate robbery. SeatGeek takes your money and washes their hands off you. If plans change or anything goes wrong, you're screwed. No empathy, no accountability, and no real help. I’ll never use them again — and I’ll go out of my way to make sure friends and family don’t either.

After waiting HOURS (day of concert) to hear from customer service, I was sent an email with these EXACT words "I understand your frustration, we are REFUNDING your order 120%...." I went to another site 3 hours before the concert and was stuck with more expensive tickets due to Seat Geek taking HOURS to resolve this. Now they are refusing my 120% refund. DO NOT USE SEATGEEK! If the venue for the show you want to go see has an exclusive agreement with SeatGeek, travel, and go to another venue so that you can buy your ticket on Ticketmaster!! I am so disgusted with my experience, they don’t have real customer service, all you can do is send messages through an app and it is so useless! I have tickets to a concert and MONTHS after the tickets were sold, there was a production change that caused my seats in my section to no longer exist. Other venues have already PROACTIVELY started transferring people in my position to other seats. I’ve contacted SEATGEEK to try to figure out if I can get my new seat, because I VERY intentionally picked an aisle seat on the floor- and NOT a pit section and NOT a seat in the stands, because that is where I needed to be for health reasons nor the experience I wanted.
I cannot stand for three hours, four hours, five hours at a concert so I paid almost $3000 and picked my seats and NOW that there’s this production change my section is 100% gone. It wouldn’t be so bad if I could contact SEATGEEK and they would behave decently like Ticketmaster and allow me to pick another seat, even if I had to pay a transfer fee, at least I would have the ability to pick somewhere else to sit. Instead, they’re just telling me the show is 3 months away and not to worry about it. I KNOW the show is three months away, and tickets are STILL on sale which means people are still buying seats which means by the time the show gets in town to be set up, I won’t even have a comparable place to be moved to!!!! That is NOT fair to me. I am so disgusted.
My seats are expensive, second row, aisle seats! I am never ever buying another ticket to another show at Northwest Stadium as long as they force you to get your tickets through SeatGeek! I think it is very irresponsible and LAZY customer service to continue to sell tickets to a show that you know has a change in the seating floor plan, when you have a customer who has paid thousands of dollars for their seat and you won’t do a single thing to let them transfer to a different seat. By the time the show comes to town they will put me God knows where and then tell me there isn’t anything they can do to help me. Avoid SeatGeek at ALL costs! If you have an issue happens that is beyond your control, they will not help you. You will never be in touch with a real person. They have completely ruined my experience for a show I paid almost $3000 to see! I am SO disgusted!!!

Be cautious! Seat Geek has been reported to list and sell tickets that are not available They listed an associate's seats for sale when they were not. Since he reported this, they list tickets next to available tickets but without a seats on the listings so you can’t tell if you are buying a legitimate seat or a non-existent (TBD by SeatGeek) seat. Be careful! If you buy both thinking you will have seats in close proximity, one will be reassigned elsewhere. When you buy that nonexistent copy of the first ticket, SeatGeek instead sells you a different available seat wherever they have a valid seat and pretend that this is what you purchased by confirming that as your purchased location.
It’s a bait and switch scam to sell more tickets to people thinking they are buying separate seats in the same row for a show. If you compare to other brokers, you can see the seat numbers. Seat geek will not divulge this on many tickets so they have option to pick a seat for you instead.

I am beyond frustrated with SeatGeek due to their failure to resolve an issue with a fraudulent parking pass I purchased through their platform. I paid $56.52 for a parking pass and selected a specific lot to tailgate. Upon arrival, I was informed that the pass was not affiliated with the stadium at all. Instead, I was directed to park at a nearby restaurant, and take an Uber to the stadium. Parking at the restaurant was completely free (there was no attendant when we arrived or left and no shuttle that they claim brings people to and from the stadium) leaving me questioning what I had paid SeatGeek nearly $60 for.
This experience not only defeated my intent to tailgate but also caused me to incur additional expenses for a rideshare to the stadium. Hauling all our tailgating equipment via Uber made the experience frustrating and unnecessarily difficult. Had I known parking was not affiliated with the stadium, I could have parked at the restaurant directly for $0, avoiding the wasted expense and hassle.
In the past, I’ve used Gametime, a competitor, to purchase tickets, and when I encountered an issue, they immediately issued a refund, demonstrating excellent customer service and reliability. I had the same expectation of SeatGeek but was severely let down. Upon purchasing the parking pass, there was no indication that it was not affiliated with the stadium, a critical detail that should have been disclosed.
SeatGeek's customer service compounded the issue. The first agent I spoke to assured me I would receive a refund to my original payment method, only to later backtrack and offer a coupon code instead. This was unacceptable, as I have no intention of using their services again given the shady nature of this transaction. A second agent denied I was ever promised a refund, despite my providing a screenshot, and stated that the coupon code had already been sent, making it the only resolution they were willing to offer.
Their handling of this issue is not only unreasonable but outright misleading. Being told I would receive a refund and then being denied it is a blatant failure to honor their word. As a ticket reseller, SeatGeek has a responsibility to stand behind their offerings, especially when resold tickets and passes often fail to meet expectations.
I am not alone in raising concerns about SeatGeek, as numerous other complaints highlight similar troubling issues on the Better Business Bureau. Their poor business practices and lack of adequate customer service are evident and should serve as a warning to consumers. SeatGeek needs to take accountability for their failures and make meaningful changes to their business practices. Perhaps the service works when it works - but beware of when it doesn't. I strongly urge others to avoid using this platform.

I’d give Seat Geek zero stars if I could. I ordered NFL tickets for a Colts game. I bought the tickets and my credit card was charged. It just showed “confirming tickets” in the status and said it was waiting on the seller to confirm the order. So I thought I had the tickets since they charged my card. Two days later, without any explanation, I checked my account and the tickets were not in my account. After some digging in the menus (it wasn’t easy to navigate) it said my order was canceled. Again, no reason given. I checked and my money was refunded. Complete scam!

I have had the worse experience with SeatGeek. I bought tickets for a concert in June when the concert was in november, I buy them early because you can get decent seats for cheap. Once it hit October, I wanted to see my tickets just for comfort. When I logged into seatgeek to see where my tickets were, seatgeek said they were not fulfilled: meaning I didn’t get my tickets 6 months after buying them because it was “a third party”.
I tried to reach out but I could only reach out 48 hours until my concert started. So at the 48 hour time, I was able to contact support via chat and they told me they would contact my seller and get a response within a couple hours, this was at 8pm one night, the next morning at 6am I check in to see what the seller had responded. Except the customer service representative that I was speaking with no longer was responding to me. So of course I contact multiple customer service representatives to get this sorted out because it’s now less that 24 hours till the concert.
I talked to one person who said the seller has to reach out to them as well and to give them 2 hours and so I did and once I texted them back after 3 hours, they said yes the seller hasn’t responded but the customer service representative told me that I would get a replacement and a refund on my tickets and I “have his word.” So I felt a little bit better about that. Then a couple hours later, I chat back with my customer service representative and he had disconnected with me. SO now I have about 5 hours till my concert to attend that I bought ticket for MONTHS ago. I start calling seatgeek at this point because this was my daughter’s early christmas present that I was not going to give up on her for.
The first 2 people I talked to said they would check the update and call the seller then give me a call within 10 minutes and an hour goes by and nothing, then FINALLY. I talk to somebody that seems like they could help. They said 100% refund or 200% replacement of tickets meaning since I spent 250 on my early tickets, I get 500$ to spend on different tickets since the seller flaked. But as this was 4 hours before the concert, at this point. There were no tickets for 500$ or less. I did however find a ticket for us both for 10$ more than my budget so I had asked if they could do 20$ more than they said, about 2 hours after that.
My customer representative for seatgeek called back and said it was declined. MY offer was declined for 20$ and all seat geek could was refund the 250$ to me. So then as I said, I promised my daughter these tickets. So with an hour to spare to leave for the concert, I had to go to a different ticket site and find some remotely close to the seats I had. The best seats that I found were worse than my previous seats but not close to the price I had to pay. I had to end up paying $1,200 for 2 tickets, not the best seats to Sabrina Carpenter because seatgeek let me down and didn’t care about what they cost me and my family. I also bought a parking pass that would not work where I bought it too and I have never been let down so hard from a company more than seatgeek and I would never in my entire life use it or refer it to anyone. Stay away from seatgeek, it’s the absolute worse.

I immediately reached out to SeatGeek, their first response was can you provide a print screen of the listing; thankfully it is something I had, once provided they said, can you prove this is the ticket you purchased? WOW, my response: can't you see the listing even after the purchase, it clearly says LOT 1, my print screen says LOT 1, and the listing was no longer available for purchase that I presented to them because I had just purchased it.
After much back and forth and me still giving them the benefit of the doubt that they were going to make this right and me making another purchase and buying the last posting for our desired location, it happened a second time. This time I took print screens after every single step. BOTH times their response was They need to reach out the the seller, and they are going to forward my print screens to the seller, even with my proof that what I purchased I didn't get they have not corrected the issue.
In fact, this is the feedback to date they have provided. "Previously, we reached out to the seller of the parking tickets, who stated that the parking tickets you purchased were the ones listed correctly. This means that no mistakes were made, and you purchased and received LOT1U." I provided a print of the post, a print of my cart, that also had a map and LOT 1 labeled on the map and, a print of my final cart with payment, ALL listing LOT 1, not LOT 1U - two different locations in our city, and SeatGeek still is not correcting the issue.

I immediately complained to SeatGeek seeking a partial refund because I wouldn't have bought those tickets if they hadn't been marked as aisle seats, I would've rather paid for cheaper tickets in that same section. At first SeatGeek insisted that they were, in fact, aisle seats because they were "the first seats in a row" even after I sent pictures of us sitting next to the railing. Then they blamed the Red Sox venue for designating them aisle seats, so I asked the Red Sox ticket office directly if they were aisle seats. The ticket office said no, they are not aisle seats because they are next to a railing.
I relayed this to SeatGeek, and then they claimed that the seats were never designated as aisle in the first place. When the tickets are sold seatgeek does not do a payout for two days after the event date and it can take 3-5 days from that date for the money to show up in your bank account. Nowhere is all this explained unless you call a customer service representative from a number that isn't listed on the seatgeek website. The number I had to beg to get is 888-497'4335. Seat Geek is a deceptive company at best, and, borders on total false advertising. Purchased a ticket to a play to see a specific actress. 1 - 2 hours after purchase, received an Email stating that the actress would not be at that performance. Nowhere on the ticket purchase page was there a notification of this!! Contacted Seat Geek immediately (by the way, they have no customer service phone number!). After multiple Emails and chats, Seat Geek lied and stated it was clearly listed on the purchase page and refused to issue me a refund - even though the play isn’t until 1/21/25! Sigh. Why didn't I find this site before purchasing or trying to purchase two tickets for the Mubadala City Tennis tournament in Washington, D.C. for 2024. I ended up purchasing twice, because I didn't get an order email. Luckily, I was able to block my card's billing, after I tried several numbers and got agents who either couldn't help or who tried to get too much financial and other information from me. I hung finally, thinking it was a scam. I went to Stub Hub and instantly got an order number and the seats sent to my mobile. I WILL NEVER GO THROUGH SEAT GEEK AGAIN. The problem is that they are linked to the tennis tournament site and should be banned.

My sister took my credit card and purchased tickets under her name through SeatGeek. Upon finding this out within an hour of her purchase, I reached out to their customer service-explained the situation and tried to get my money back. They told me they can't refund me as this is their policy. I was baffled that someone can use my card and name without my knowledge and they would NOT refund my money. The tickets were not electronic either, they were to be delivered 4 months from now, a few days before the concert. So, they offered a credit of the full amount. I was obviously pissed because I would rather have my $1250 back. I asked to speak to management, and it was the same runaround from a bunch of people who speak a different language.
After talking to multiple people, and calming down a bit; I got the credit on the account. I went in, found an event and used half of the credit money. There was nothing on the site that told me the remaining balance of my credit. I again, reached out to customer service who told me to check back in a few hours and it will be there. I checked about 8 hours later and it still wasn't there. I reached out via Chat and was told that I would not receive the remainder of my credit until after the event that I just purchased!!!! WHAT???? I couldn't believe it, I am just beside myself.
So I have to wait 6 months to use the rest of the credit that I have but the credit is only good for a year; so I have 6 months to use the rest.... I mean, this is a joke. I am utterly baffled that businesses are allowed to do this sort of thing; it's literal robbery! They KNOW the card was used fraudulently and didn't refund my money, then give me the runaround about the credit. It's disgusting, laws need to change to protect people from this sort of thing. Anyway, don't use these sites, and if you do, read all of the fine print. My sister is an idiot; she will not be living this one down anytime soon.

This has been the worst customer experience I have had in a while. Bottom line, I'm out $372 because of SeatGeek's awful management of their business. We purchased tickets from them to a sporting event, months in advance. Their policy claims that a customer will receive their tickets no later than 24 hours before the event. This did not happen.
I reached out to customer support right at the 24-hour mark (noon) - the representative said that she would reach out to the seller and secure my tickets within hours. That did not happen. Note: there is no phone support available, only chat support, and even that goes away the same day of the event, forcing a customer to email.
I called SeatGeek again 7 hours later with the same appeal and received the same promise from a different representative that I would receive my tickets shortly. That did not happen. I called a third time 3.5 hours (10:30 pm) after that and got another empty promise from another representative. This time though the rep said that after midnight I could ask for a refund. The next morning, the tickets still hadn't arrived and we were 5 hours from the event. We had friends who traveled from out of town at great expense. So per the final rep's promise of a refund, I attempted to chat with customer support to receive that refund. Well, SeatGeek disables chat the day of evidently and forces customers to email.
I wrote the email, documenting everything that had transpired, including the 3 separate promises from 3 separate reps that I would receive my tickets the day before, if not I would be given a refund. The email response, which I received 2 days later reneged on this promise. I escalated and the rep agreed to a time and date for their manager to call me. That did not happen. They have remained obstinate about not refunding me my money, for tickets I never received/never used. Net, this has been a horrible experience. Let this serve as a warning to all to never use SeatGeek.

Absolutely, the worst customer service I’ve had in a long time! I would avoid using this service, because if you make a mistake they do absolutely nothing to help you out. Customer rep tries to make you think they are helping you and says they are escalating but have no power or ability to do anything. I purchased a parking pass at an event several month ago. Yesterday I was on the app and they had a banner to purchase the parking pass. I didn’t remember purchasing the pass and saw this banner (see picture) and thought that I didn’t purchase. Purchased parking and then immediately realized my mistake.
1) Tried to call customer service using number on the credit card —> number is no longer in service because they don’t want you to talk to anyone. 2) Finally found the ability to chat on the site and started the conversation. The rep was sympathetic to the issue and said she would resolve it, but needed to escalate it. However received an email a few minutes later that she couldn’t do anything. What happed to giving a little grace especially if a consumer called immediately after making the mistake?

Seatgeek is horrible. My wife purchased tickets through the app for us to attend the game. It was rained out and rescheduled for the up and coming Monday at 6:20 pm. I wouldn’t be able to attend because of work. MLB policy will allow for a refund or the option to attend a future game. Seatgeek doesn’t they force you into attempting to sell the tickets which probably wouldn’t have been an issue, but they never made the new tickets available to us for us to sell after the game was rained out. Even if we decided not to sell and just attend the game we wouldn’t have been able to because the tickets never appeared in our account.
We spent all weekend trying to contact seatgeek to resolve the issue with no response from any email address they listed. I finally found a number Monday afternoon like 4 hours before the game and was able to get in contact with someone. They inform me that they see the issue and will escalate it to technical support because they don’t see the tickets either and he will call me back in a hour. I received no call after an hour, so I called again, reached someone different this time but still the same issue. They can’t see the tickets in my account nor my wife’s account, just the section and the seats not the actual bar code needed to be scanned to get in the game. So he then says he will also escalate the issue and try to get it resolved before the game.
Long story short never got it resolved and now I’m out of all most $300 because seatgeek is refusing to refund me my money because of their technical issues. And they really have the audacity to act like my wife and I are just both stupid and blind and we just happened to have been overlooking the tickets in her account the either weekend and we could have sold them after countless attempts to resale the tickets but kept getting messages like you don’t have any tickets available to sell or your tickets are not applicable for resale. Took screenshots with time stamps and everything to show them these messages received from them and their response was, "Oh well. We can’t do anything about that. You should have sold them." Please anyone tell me how can you sell something you don’t have???? Honestly never again. I hated it but I’ll just use Gametime from here on out.

Inconsistent Support: While their customer service might help in some cases, it's far from guaranteed that you'll find a resolution if something goes wrong.

Purchased tickets to an event for a specific row. Was told I wouldn't get the tickets until 24 hours before the show. Stated the reason "need to wait until 24 hours prior to the event due to the delayed release policies that the seller uses to keep your tickets safe, avoid the resale market, vastly decrease any chance for invalid double sales, and protect fans from less-than-savory situations." SeatGeek says this is to "protect" fans from less than savory situations when in fact they are the ones creating the situations. Sellers are selling tickets on SeatGeek they don't actually have. They have until 24 hours of the show to send the buyer the ticket. Sellers wait to find cheaper tickets and once they find them, they're transferred over to you who paid a premium. What a great service provided!
In my situation, I paid for a specific row that I needed. Turns out there was none available since the tickets I bought never existed. They just sent me a different row and said it's an "upgrade". The buyer guarantee states, "The tickets you receive will be the same as those you ordered" and they will work with you to resolve any issue by offering comparable tickets or a refund. They don't actually work with you. The resolution is up to them and they will give you tickets they determine to be an upgrade. I requested a refund and that was not possible. Don't recommend.

I have used SeatGeek, and they are terrific to work with. However, I have had a less-than-positive experience with TicketMaster, which SeatGeek used as a third party to provide the tickets. I purchased tickets to two Nets games. For one, I quickly received the e-tickets with the bar codes from Ticketmaster. However, for the second game, it looks like I won't receive the tickets until around 24 hours before the game. Why do I have to wait until then and be concerned about whether I will receive the tickets before the game? That is poor business practice, and TicketMaster has very poor reviews online. This is the reason I am giving a two-star rating for SeatGeek. SeatGeek should reconsider using TicketMaster.

Seatgeek will not work with you to get a refund. Be aware of all the small print. I have been going back and forth with them about a purchase and they are not willing to give a refund. Horrible customer service.

SeatGeek does not offer refunds for rescheduled events. I am not available to attend on the rescheduled date, nearly 5 months from the originally scheduled date. I will not use SeatGeek in the future and will not recommend it to others.

My bad here for not researching this company before purchasing. I purchased tickets and then didn't send to me although the order description said "instant". They wanted me to download another app with Google Wallet in order to get the ticket. I purchased these tickets for a friend that I was going surprise with tickets to a sold out event. When they could produce the tickets they suggested I resell them. Great for them the entire experience cost me 45 min. of my time and $37 in unrecouped fees. SeatGeek on the other hand made 10% from the original seller plus my purchase fee of $147.60 and then another $60 for listing "the tickets" back for sale. So SeatGeek in total collected $397.60 for 2 tickets that were sell for $85. I know I was paying a premium which isn't my issue. My issue is that they didn't sell me what was advertised.
