No customer service. Terrible turnaround time, much worse than promised. Only partial reimbursement. Go with ECE instead. They won’t check emails either. They are dishonest and it feels like there isn’t even a human on the other end when trying to reach out.

I would give it zero if that was an option, my account was open on January 2024 to now - WES claimed they didn’t receive one of my transcripts however after reaching out to DHL got photo evidence to confirm was delivered. Weeks after WES confirm yes it was received however this can only be sent electronically (even though on the tab view require documents shows it's accepted). Wes “specialist” guided me to hidden area on the website that shows otherwise. At this point the account became inactive – where I had to pay to reinstate – I request - drop that course and complete assessment was advised I need to do that request myself. On the 27th of Aug I made and was advised it will take 14 days to conclude. It's now 19th Sept and WES is still unable to provide me with an update.
I have spoken with a few agents. Everyone story was different – also spoke a lot with the supervisor “Tina”. After wasting my time, money along with 22 days passed WES still unable to conclude the assessment. I would never use this service and not recommended to anyone, there are more reliable services like Comparative Education Service (CES), International Credential Assessment Service of Canada (ICAS) International Credential Evaluation Service International Qualifications Assessment Service (IQAS). My WES experience is a disaster. I will file a complaint on my less busier days with BBS and consumer protection.

I will never recommend WES to anyone. Not even to My pure enemy. They are liars. Because of WES, I didn't get my scholarship. Because without my credential, I can't get a scholarship. They've had my file for over 8 months and nothing. I can't register for fall 2024 because without my credential I can't register. After all that, they forced me to pay $50 for reactivation fee. In total, I paid $278 for an evaluation that I didn't receive. Oh God! Is because we are not from here or what?They take advantage of us international students. But don't forget that we foreign students will become the authorities in the U.S. We'll see in the future.

All of these 5 star reviews are complete lies, WES is really, really, really terrible and it’s really surprising how they’re being allowed to play monopoly in North America. Customer services are a bunch of stalling liars and technically use the same tactics and sentences like “we will escalate this” when in reality they have no connection to any other departments. It’s really frustrating seeing these fake reviews here and on YouTube. And there’s no other competitors and we all definitely need this service, so yeah we can cry them a river. If you’re reading this before using Wes. Please don’t pay them any money.

I have submitted my application in June the 21st to be precise. It's now approaching oct 2024. I haven't heard nothing from WES, the university I attended in the uk was very efficient and communicated timeously, they sent my transcript to wes for evaluation I haven't heard from wes. When I try to call them I'll be waiting close to an hour with high volumes of calls. I even missed registration for this fall. I don't think I can recommend anyone. I feel scammed.

I recently used WES for my credential evaluation and, like many, was a bit nervous during the waiting period for my assessment results. I frequently checked the system for updates, which made the wait feel longer than it probably was. However, the anticipation was well worth it when I finally received my results. The process was thorough and professional, and the outcome was exactly what I needed. Despite the wait, WES provided a valuable service and delivered a comprehensive evaluation that met my expectations. If you can be patient through the process, it’s definitely worth it in the end.

Everything is good at the end but they have some agents who don't pay attention at all. I had already done US credentials, I just needed a switch for Canadian credentials. They told me what to do. After doing that my application took a couple of wrong turns. I wrote countless mails explaining my situation to them. I was lucky to talk to an agent after several calls totaling a wait time of 109 mins waiting mins online. But this agent was awesome. Less than 1 week after the call I got my credentials. Though it took 5 months I have a happy ending.

I had it would take a terribly long time but that was not my case. I was very impressed with how swift it was, they did a fantastic job. I’d say the bulk of the problem lies in your institution sending your credentials on time, once that is done, you should hear back from WES in 3 weeks (that’s how long it took for me).

Highly recommend. I did both certifications with them for two countries, good service and friendly. The process took two months to be completed and now I have everything on time. I contacted them to ask some questions about the transfer and was pretty easy to do it.

Ask if your university has a partnership with WES where they send all documents digitally after you translate your transcripts and diploma. Your university will send it over to WES and the ECA gets done faster. My university has it and it’s worth the effort! Ask your university if they have this partnership.

The worst. After 30 days I am still waiting for my evaluation. Check their refund policy. Their services are horrible. I definitely do not recommend this company at all. They do not even give you a timeline for your application. Based on their policy you might even want to wait for more than a year to get your evaluation. People get degrees in one month, what are you guys doing????

I had trouble getting the uni to send my transcripts, but WES did its job real quick and I appreciate that, because the evaluation was completed only a day after submitting my application to IRCC. Completion was estimated to be October 7 and I screamed joyfully when I got an email that it was completed on September 11. I recommend WES.

My experience with WES was a roller coaster one, I appreciate your authenticity of evaluation of our credentials, however, I was disappointed when you requested me to let my school send my transcript directly to WES. But after a couple of days, I received information on my updated account that you have not received it, when I contacted my school, they sent me a copy of acknowledgement of receipt from you. Subsequently, I appeal to my school to send another copy of my transcript to WES. That’s where I received a confirmation from you that you have now received all the documents you need for my evaluation. This made me went through some psychological and emotional trauma so kindly check the process of receipt of documents always.

I liked the fact that the procedures were outlined appropriately but I think it is expensive and for such costs, it should be done at a quicker rate. Maybe they can consider having a basic and a premium rate to support people with limited funds for this while the premium expedites the process for others in that. Generally, I was satisfied with the review and the follow up.

WES through QC helped process my ECA report for the Canadian IRCC seamlessly. It was an easy experience because I didn't have to contact my institution at all, and QC kept me abreast of their steps by providing weekly updates. It took about 3 months, and it took that long because of the delayed response from my institution.

I paid $225 for my transcript to be converted and the website guaranteed 7 to 10 days. After 1 month, I contacted customer service and they requested I give them another week. After a week and a half, I contacted them again and they basically gave me the same runaround, stating that they are behind. I then immediately requested to cancel my application because they were clearly not fulfilling their end of the deal, and, "according to their refund policy", they are entitled to withhold $52 of the payment!. It is no wonder, that my credit card would not let the transaction with them go through! Complete sham!

I am writing to express my complete dissatisfaction with the service I received from WES. The website clearly stated that the evaluation process would take 35 working days, but in my case, it took more than three months. This significant delay resulted in me missing the Fall intake for my admission, which has been incredibly disappointing.
Not only have I lost valuable time, but I also feel that my energy and money have been wasted in this process. I relied on WES for a timely evaluation, as stated on the website, but the lack of communication and extended delay has caused unnecessary stress and frustration. I sincerely hope WES takes customer commitments more seriously in the future to avoid such issues for others.

Horrible service. They were supposed to take my Canadian equivalency and shift to US. A 2-day job is taking them 3 months. Thanks to their incompetency I’ve lost my US immigration visa appointment which asked for the document. My request has been escalated 7 times in vain. The answer? “We’re switching to a new system and it’s taking long”! Should be that be disclaimed before people pay money??!!

My experience with WES is extremely frustrating. I submitted my marks of statement (transcript) through my University and courier both. My college is also included in their autonomous college list. At first they updated in my WES account that they are processing my package in June, 2023 and now they emailed me that they haven't received my marks of statement. It has been months.

I think people should consider other evaluation services than this WES. I have missed 2 graduate opportunities because of their lackadaisical approach to evaluating transcripts. I submitted my documents since April and WES says everything is complete and good to go, this is september and yet evaluation is still in progress. I was unable to resume this August and with the way things are, if WES doesn't complete the evaluation I still can't resume in January.

WES evaluation took too long for me but their response every time when I called was top notch. I am really satisfied the way they handled the process but it was time consuming for sure. I will not recommend if you want to get your ECA done at last moment but if you have about 2 or 3 months I would recommend WES.

My experience with WES was amazing. Although I had to be patient for 5 months to receive my credential evaluation. I was very satisfied with the customer service which helped with my request to cancel the evaluation of my Masters credential. Do NOT use WES! If there is one review you listen to, let it be this one. I am Canadian. I graduated from a Canadian university and paid to have an evaluation, so I could work across the border. I assumed that my evaluation would have been straightforward. I made the same mistake of scrolling through reviews (almost all negative) and still used WES. Big mistake! To me, the 5 star reviews on this page are definitely questionable, in terms of legitimacy. It’s been over 2 months and I am still waiting for my evaluation. I have called customer support numerous times. And each time they tell me they “are escalating the matter”. FYI… customer support has no connection to the evaluators. They have no information about your report/time line or anything useful. Basically… customer support has no clue what’s going on with your evaluation. WES Customer support service seems more like a formality, but no actual service.
The website (once you log in) provides you with an “estimate date of completion”. It’s bogus. My estimated date of completion has come and gone. Weeks ago! They don’t understand they are playing with people’s livelihoods. Or they do and don’t care. The sheer amount of stress and anxiety of having to wait months, wondering whether your degree/education will be considered equal/transfer, is awful! They are not making it any easier. If time is of the essence… DO NOT USE WES! If you’re an anxious person… DO NOT USE WES (the waiting and checking your profile multiple times a day-for weeks turning into months-will drive you nuts).

This is the worst service I’ve ever experienced! The customer service agents are all the same—no matter who you talk to, they keep repeating the same useless script that does nothing to resolve my issue. They initially claimed that the standard service would take up to 14 days, but it’s been 3 months, and my evaluation is still stuck! I have already missed the start of the first round of my class, and now I’m about to miss it again. This is beyond frustrating and utterly unacceptable!

WES has been unresponsive to my numerous efforts to bring my application to conclusion. The application was submitted August 2, 2024. An update to my account was posted August 6, 2024 indicating they were reviewing documents sent by my university. I have called three times and inquired online regarding no change in status since August 6, 2024. I keep getting stall techniques and am told to wait a few days, repeatedly. I have specifically asked for someone who can bring this matter to conclusion to call me back. No one has called me back.
This organization did not take any time processing my payment but seem to be having trouble providing the report I have requested. My university is a globally recognized university (top 10 in the world) in the UK that WES has indicated they have an established relationship with. There is no apparent reason this report has not issued in a timely manner.

Very slow service, nearly impossible to reach them out, and when you can finally reach them out they are of no use at all. It seems like the departments inside have no idea of what’s going on in other departments, so when you call customer service to give you an update on your application they’ll ask a dozen questions just to answer you it’s still in process, something you can easily check on the website. They don’t tell you if something is missing, what step it’s at, how long it’ll take. If you call them, and are lucky to get through, you leave just as blind as you went in.

On the other hand, as soon as the documents were received by WES, it took less than 10 days to get my evaluation report. I am writing to express my profound dissatisfaction with the services provided by World Education Services (WES). My experience with WES over the past few months has been full of frustration and disbelief at the level of incompetence and blatant disregard for customers' time and career aspirations. Below, I outline the specific issues I encountered:
Excessive Delays: I created an account and paid the requisite fees on March 19, 2024, expecting a timely and professional evaluation of my credentials. However, nearly four months have passed with minimal progress. This delay is unacceptable, especially considering the critical role that timely credential evaluation plays in career advancement and educational opportunities.
Ineffective Communication: Throughout this period, I have made numerous attempts to follow up on the status of my evaluation via emails and phone calls. Each interaction has been met with vague responses, a lack of clarity, and promises of action that were not fulfilled. This lack of effective communication reflects poorly on WES's customer service standards and exacerbates the frustration of an already prolonged process.
Incomplete Work: After months of waiting and repeated follow-ups, I discovered that WES’s work was only half-completed. This incomplete evaluation is not only disappointing but also suggests a significant lapse in the quality of service and attention to detail that customers rightfully expect from a professional evaluation service.
Unjust Additional Fees: To add insult to injury, I was informed that I would need to pay additional fees for WES to complete the work that should have been finished initially. This practice is nothing short of extortionate, compelling customers to pay more for services that were already promised and paid for. I paid a total of $222.00 ($160 for evaluation – Document-by-Document with ICAP + $12.00 Standard delivery + $17.00 UPS Ground + $33.00 Additional Copies), and now they are telling me to pay $160 again for them to finish the service that I paid for already. Such a policy indicates a disturbing prioritization of profit over customer satisfaction and ethical business practices.
In light of these points, I strongly believe that WES's operations are marred by inefficiency, a lack of accountability, and an apparent disregard for the impact of their delays and errors on their customers' professional and educational futures. This experience has not only caused significant inconvenience and stress but has also undermined my trust in WES as a reputable institution.
I urge WES to take immediate corrective action to address these issues. This should include a thorough review of their operational procedures, enhanced training for customer service representatives, and a commitment to completing all evaluations accurately and in a timely manner without imposing unjust additional fees. In conclusion, my experience with WES has been highly unsatisfactory, and I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for the institution to improve its services. I would appreciate a prompt and satisfactory resolution to my case, reflecting the professional standards that WES claims to uphold.

Go for any other designated organizations other than WES. I spent a significant sum on my evaluation for the Canadian college application. Unfortunately, I haven't received my official report through mail, nor have I found any option to download it from my WES account. To resolve the issue, I contacted their customer service, inquiring about the download problem. They informed me that downloading the official report isn't possible from their account, suggesting that I order an additional copy by mail for an extra 48 CAD. I asked some friends, and they shared screenshots from their WES accounts, which showed a "Download official report" button. They were able to download the original report and submit it to IRCC for immigration purposes. This situation is extremely frustrating, as international students investing a substantial amount to move to Canada, we expect these organizations to be more accommodating in their processes.

I submitted my documents for evaluation in early July and it's now mid-August. Despite promises of escalation when I called customer service (twice!), I'm getting nothing but radio silence. This evaluation is time-sensitive and directly impacts a deadline with USCIS. I was never informed of any backlog that would cause these kinds of delays. Their lack of transparency is outrageous. Now I'm left scrambling and facing serious consequences because of WES's incompetence. If you're on a deadline, look elsewhere! This level of service is beyond unacceptable.

Lost my Job because of WES: They never verified my PhD degree from a Central University in India. The Customer service was responsive until payment was done then they had no clue about the process. They only keep saying, "We did not receive your documents." I almost my job offer.

I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service I've received from World Education Services (WES). Despite submitting all required documents, transcripts, and payment on July 15, my application remains on "hold" with a status of "waiting for your document(s)" as of August 13. I've received confirmation from the clearinghouse that my transcript has been retrieved since July 16, yet WES claims otherwise. I've attempted to contact WES multiple times via phone and message, only to be met with unfulfilled promises of updates. The latest agent I spoke with, William, informed me that my evaluation would take 2-3 months, contradicting the 35-day timeline advertised on their website.
I'm appalled by the lack of transparency, unprofessionalism, and misleading information. WES promptly processed my payment but has failed to deliver the promised service. I strongly advise against using their services and will not recommend them to anyone. This experience has left a sour taste, and I'm starting to question the legitimacy of their operations.

I am disappointed with WES customer service. I apologize for my negative review, but if I had the chance, I would not have evaluated my transcripts. Since July 9th I have been waiting for my reports, but they did not respond to my questions or explain. I do not recommend WES to my friends. Furthermore, I paid for the service upfront, but the quality did not meet my expectations. It was a good lesson for me and I never recommend it to everyone who is seeking to evaluate her international documents.

Sincerely I usually don’t give bad or 1 star reviews basically because I understand the basis of creating a business and wanting to meet up with customers needs efficiently and professionally, while also having it done on a timely basis but unfortunately World Education Services (WES) is the worst evaluation company anyone might ever want to deal with, as they would sweet talk you from the beginning of your registration process, then eventually take your money and behold, you would have them delay you and find it hard to call them, sometimes drop your calls while on the phone with them, and the worst is the fact that they would eventually make you miss your deadline date with nothing being done to your documents. So kindly research a better evaluation company if you want peace of mind.

They have no clue how the education system works in different parts of the world. they have bunch of armature who evaluate the foreign degree without realizing how their lack of knowledge and training is destroying someone's life. I wanted a copy of my evaluated transcript to be sent to my school. The school did not receive it and WES never responded to my emails nor pick up my calls. There is no way to contact them aside from email and they never respond. Don’t work with them.

I am an international dentist applying for a dental program in the USA, and my experience with WES has been extremely frustrating. I submitted my documents in early June and received confirmation on June 26th that all materials were received. I requested a course-by-course evaluation, which WES claims takes about 7 business days. However, nearly two months have passed, and I have yet to receive my report.
I called to emphasize that my deadline was July 20th, and the representative assured me that she would escalate my case. Despite this, on July 17th, I was informed that my documents were still being analyzed and that the evaluation process could not be rushed. I tried several times on different days to talk with a supervisor but no supervisor was available.
WES seems to misrepresent their timelines, which is incredibly disappointing. As of today, July 31st, I still have not received any updates. Their lack of accountability has jeopardized my opportunity to start my dental program, forcing me to postpone my education for an entire year. I cannot recommend their services based on my experience.

This company is a scam, do not use them. I have spent thousands of dollars applying to schools just for me not to be able to attend due to this unprofessional company. They promise you a delivery from 10-15 days but somehow say there might be slight delays. Slight delays to me sounds like a few days extra. It has been over a month and the schools I have applied to have not received my transcript. They can't give you a status update at all, not whatsoever. It still saying analyzing my transcript that I uploaded a month ago. Supervisors cannot even give you an update to what is going on. Taking over $250 from people and not even being able to give an update is ridiculous. Because of this company I cannot go to graduate school even though I have been accepted to several schools. I have the worst experience with WES. They only take money but are not responsible; their customer care service is the worst one. If you have an alternate option than WES; please choose that one. WES will take their own sweet time to process the evaluation and when you call customer care they will talk to you like they are not working for WES. For everything they will ask you to send the Contact US form and the Contact us form team always sends very generic standard answers to your query. So it is like most likely if you have a problem you will get a resolution very late.

They have my document of only ten courses from well known University in the United States and every time I call the customer services say "I will escalate it for you". Last time, they emailed me that it will be ready in two weeks. I called them after two weeks, they said, "It ready and we sent it to the association you want us to." I said I do not see the update in the system, they said it is only technology issue. "Do not worry". I said fine. Called them again after 1 week, a guy told me it is only one step and it will go in one or two days. I called them after one week, they said there is an online portal. Use it to contact the reviewers. Me only looking at them as group of lazy liars.

Worst service provider I've ever worked with. My university sent the documents and I called to ask if everything was ok. I was told that all documents were received and were ok. After 65 days and 4 calls demanding updates, they changed the status (until then it was "waiting for documents") saying that the documents were not ok. I asked for a cancellation and I still haven't gotten my money back.

My experience with WES was nothing short of spectacular. Although I experienced some delays in getting my evaluation completed, it had nothing to do with the company; it took a while for educational institution to send my transcript. Do not recommend this company if you need the evaluation completed in a timely manner. I am from Canada and my degree is from an English speaking University that is accredited in the US. My transcript was sent to WES per their instruction within two days. They acknowledge receipt in my account on June 16th. Still have not received anything, no updates. I finally called them today, July 19th, and I was just told that they are behind and a request to rush would made. When I asked if they are going to provide a discount considering it has been over a month already, I was told no. Definitely would not use them. FYI, I only need a document by document, not GPA or Course by Course!

Overall, a frustrating experience with a positive outcome. The most frustrating part was understanding the exact requirements for sending them my academic credentials from back home. I had two goes at it. The first one failed because I did not meet the requirements. I had to spend over an hour on the phone trying to get to the bottom what those requirements were. Once I understood them, I re-submitted and received my evaluation report within a couple of months. The evaluation confirmed the academic credential level that I expected, so overall I am satisfied. I would not recommend using World Education Services. They promised that they would convert my educational credentials within 7 business days after they received it. I have been waiting for a month and a half since they have received my documents. I have called and emailed and the only response I've received is "they will put a note in the system about my message." Could you please message me directly to tell me why my documents are over a month later than the promised service that I paid over $370 USD for? Please help as I am unable to put the university degree in my job interviews until it is converted. This is the worst experience ever. All complaints are simply ignored. The WES website clearly states that a course-by-course evaluation takes about 7 days. DO NOT TRUST THIS!!! The countdown doesn't begin until they check their mailbox and confirm delivery. This means they can delay indefinitely if they don't confirm receipt. Even after confirmation, my evaluation has been pending for two weeks with no update. I have followed up more than ten times to no avail. Additionally, their website uses confusing wording, stating that the 7 business days is after approval but not including the evaluation time itself. This misleading information has further delayed my application process. This seriously impacts your application if it's time.

I have been sharing my negative experiences with World Education Services (WES) over the past two months. Last Friday, I decided to switch to another organization called IEScaree. For approximately $280, I received a comprehensive evaluation along with a GPA calculation and a five-day expedited service. Today, I received an email confirming that the process was completed, and my evaluation was shipped yesterday. I will have it tomorrow before noon! I had to cancel my order with WES, and they retained $52 from my refund. I regret not seeing these alternative recommendations earlier. **Terrible Service and Fraud.** From the Q&A on the official website, it was stated that the evaluation would be completed within 7 business days once all documents were submitted and full payment was made. I followed their recommendation to use the "Qualification Check," which turned out to be another nightmare, taking me a month to get verified. I submitted all the documents and made the full payment over a month ago, but the evaluation is still not done. When I called to inquire about the status, the customer service representative informed me that it takes at least 35 business days to finish the evaluation. They gave numerous excuses, claiming they never committed to completing the process within 7 business days. As of today, I am still waiting for the evaluation, and I believe this is a complete fraud.

I used WES to eval my overseas education since I was planning to go back to school for my master's. For some reason the report they sent to the institution did not provide the information needed even though that information was sent from my college. I reached out to WES and was told I need to have it done again so I ended up paying the fee again. They did the same thing. Same nonsense was sent to the school until the school just stopped working to get me enrolled. I got so discouraged that I stopped the process.
Now I’m trying again with a different school so I reached out to them to see if they could just fix what they have to have it reflect the info the way the school needs it. They sent me an email with a copy of their policy and blocked my email response. I would not recommend this company at all. If you're foreign trained try another company. Not them. Poor customer service. Not helpful. They speak to you on the phone with a condescending attitude.

Do not use this service! I have been waiting for 30 working days now, and have enquired multiple times, with the exact same answer of 'You will be updated as your application is progressed'. I have not been able to receive any specific information about my application, other than 'it is being looked at by one of our agents'. I chose this service due to its advertised 'efficiency', however this couldn't be further from the truth. This has completely ruined my VISA application, potentially leaving me without a job for the next year. With slow processing times, useless generic replies to enquiries, and very little information about your application, I would strongly advise to use another service if you need your credentials evaluated.

Just see them Facebook and all the same issues… I initiated my evaluation with WES on May 5, 2024, and despite the considerable time that has passed, I am still waiting for my evaluation report. My documents are still "being analyzed," and repeated inquiries have yielded no significant updates. The first customer service representative I spoke with assured me that my application would be elevated for a status update. However, I have yet to receive any confirmation or meaningful information. During my second call, the representative was unable to provide any details or dates, merely instructing me to keep checking the website.
The fact that WES charges a $52 fee to cancel the process, despite not fulfilling their obligations, is deeply concerning and feels exploitative. This lack of transparency and prolonged delay is unacceptable, especially given the urgency of my situation. It is perplexing that NACES, as an accrediting body, treats this issue as an isolated case, considering WES is one of its members and receives multiple complaints daily without any resolution. If I could give minus stars I would. I'm not sure if I was scammed or not by WES. I paid $52 for a duplicate report. They state on April 24, 2024 they sent it, however I never received it at all. I have called and messaged them 10-15 times and they continue to give me the runaround. I have complained to the BBB and the NY Division of Consumer Protection to no avail. It seems from reading other complaints WES keeps getting away with ripping off consumers.

Service of this provider is as slow as the Government. I paid total over $600 for my service just to find no way to communicate my request with them. After two weeks of waiting for my document to simply be transferred from a Canada to US account, they could not provide an estimated timeline when the document will be transfer. “It depends on the workload of each department” - the worst kind of bureaucratic answer. Then when their questionnaire platform is the only way to contact them doesn’t work, reporting errors “something wrong with the field, please refresh”, no matter what browser I tried, they said “try again later”. I asked where to request refund, response “use the questionnaire platform on the website”. I’m extremely frustrated, disappointed, don’t recommend this service and will never use it anymore!

My experience has been nothing but amazing. WES continued to provide update during the over 8 months that my university delayed the release of my transcript. As soon as my school sent the transcript, WES completed the evaluation and approval in less than a week. As soon as the approval was granted, I also received the digital badge from WES. I feel a bit sick to my stomach - I chose WES because, even though they’re more expensive, they are recommended by reputable institutions, but now I’m looking at reviews and can see it is taking months for people to get their evaluations back. I’ve messaged them twice because I’ve paid around $400 for their service and, as an immigrant, I can’t get a job without the transcripts being evaluated. I can’t earn money. It’s putting me in a scary situation. I really wish I had’ve read reviews before I went with this service. I recently placed an order for a duplicate IRCC document. Despite paying a premium of $70 for expedited delivery within one day, the actual delivery took significantly longer, spanning three to four days. Disappointingly, when I contacted the customer service department to address this issue, they proved unhelpful. While the evaluation did take a bit longer than expected, the rest of the service was top-notch. On the other hand, I suggest lowering the evaluation price to be affordable to juniors and seniors. They are just an education syndicate. Literally ruined my life. I am a student from North South University. In my bachelor’s degree I had to do 133 credits to finish my course but I took same courses for grade improvement. They counted all the courses total 169 and made my cgpa lower than I actually got. I tried to reach them. Say, "We can’t do anything." Even though they wrote very clearly that, "If any course are done again for improvement we won’t count it, will be marked as R*." My university A grade is over 93% but lots of low grade universities have A grade in 60/80. So they don’t calculate based on mark but same grade I got they put it on their evaluation. Then what is the meaning of course by course evaluation (icap).

I will strongly recommend you use WES for your credential assessment base on a couple of reasons; Reliability. WES is very reliable and trusted. I had a great experience getting my credentials evaluated. It was a little hard at the start to understand the required documents and how it will get to WES, but the customer representatives were patient, nice and listened to my complaints and help direct me to using the help tool and my questions were resolved. It was generally an easy process to follow and my evaluation was done after 7days of WES receiving and approving my certificates from Cameroon. It was ICap and it took 10 business days after shipping with standard delivery to reach my address. I highly recommend WES.

I had very bad experience with this group. I talked to them about my situation and then they told me. Fill the request and pay, then follow up. In my case my, I did not had access to my previous institution and they did not respond to email. I called them, they said you need to come in person. That was not an option for me. I call back to this group and wrote about situation. They still said, "No your institution needs to send your transcript directly." This is while, I had a copy of my transcripts with educational ministry and judicial ministry stamps. They took the money without doing any job.

I've run out of patience with your disgusting work. Created an account on 01/01/2024. Paid for services and sent documents on March 21, 2024. Received WES Reference No. **. On April 1, 2024, documents arrived at the office at WES Global Documentation Center 14–145 Industrial Pkwy South Aurora, ON L4G 3V5 Canada. There is confirmation from DHL shipment 1519520004. A person named RALPH accepted the documents. (There is confirmation from DHL) Then I waited for the information on my account to be updated for more than a month. Without waiting for May 6, I called your organization with my problem 3 times and each time I was sent to your website to fill out a standard contact form and I did it (using more than 10 attempts from different devices and from different browsers from my account Send to you letter is impossible) I was able to do this only by logging out of my account.
And finally, on May 8, for the first time in 5 weeks, I received a response that my request had been accepted for consideration. (There is a letter from you) And now the 3rd week is ending after the only answer and I continue to wait. (Do you have some kind of time limit for responding to your applications). Of course I would like to receive from you a service for which I have already paid, but if you cannot do this, return my money to me.
P.S. At the moment I am collecting the second set of documents and planning to send it to you, (and I very much doubt the correctness of the actions) I understand that a human factor may have occurred and my first set was simply lost. I hope the second set will correct the situation, if the situation repeats, you will leave me no choice, I will sue you. Because I don’t think this situation is normal.

Good service in general, BUT I had to call several times over a period of 2 months to finalize my evaluation during the documents submission and validation stage of the process, because they were unable to understand my situation. This is what happen: I started studying a degree in X university in country A. After 3 years, I move to country B, where I started studying a new degree in university Y. University Y took my grades from X and allowed me to skip the first year of the new degree thanks to that. So I only studied the first 3 years on X and the last 2.5 years of Y.
I send to WES the transcripts of both degrees, and my graduation diploma from Y, and for over two month they kept updating my application status to "require more document" because they wanted me to submit my diploma/degree from university X. I had to call multiple times to explain that I did not finish my studies in Y, beacuse I transfer to X and that I graduated in X, therefore I have no diploma from university Y. Took them around 2 months of me calling customer service several times to finally understand this and finalize my evaluation.

Overall WES helped me a lot in getting my Canadian equivalency and thankfully I got the same level of degree from my niversity in the Philippines and in Canada. This company is a total rip off. They cannot be more incompetent. They received our information via Federal Express over 3 weeks ago and have not done a thing with it. The refuse to let you talk to any of their managers or anyone up the chain, (with the only exception of a 1st line manager whose job it is is to tell you there is absolutely no way you can talk to anyone else.) So you have no recourse except possibly a class action lawsuit. I have never seen a lower rating, ie: 98% negative! Wish I would have seen that before. My experience with WES has been absolutely horrific. I completed a graduate degree in the UK, and I'm currently enrolled in another program in the U.S. They are in similar fields, and my current university said that some courses should transfer. Welp. My current university didn't notify me that they required an official foreign credential evaluation until about a month before the classes I was supposed to be waived from started. They told me I could use WES or one other service.
I picked WES because it looked like a larger organization, which I associated with being more streamlined and easy to use (I was wrong.) I paid about $200 and submitted all of my documents electronically on 4/23, and the service I selected was to be completed in 7 business days according to the WES website. (Note that since my documents were submitted electronically, they were received on 4/23 right when I submitted them.)
It is now 5/16 and WES has done absolutely nothing but take my money. I called them today to let them know that I need my results ASAP so that I do not have to pay thousands of dollars for courses I do not need. They gave me a bunch of crap about how they have 'received my documents' and 'they are reviewing them.' No they're not. They haven't been reading two pieces of paper for over 3 weeks, give me a break. Then the guy on the phone told me that they're 'busy' and 'everything is delayed.' Cool, I don't care. It's already been delayed multiple weeks. A few days I could understand, but I selected a service that had a 7 day turnaround for a reason. This is false advertising at this point.
The WES customer service rep then had me submit an online request for my evaluation to be 'expedited' through the 'help' function on the website that I am 2 million percent sure will be ignored. Also, someone should give the staff at WES a vocabulary lesson, because being several weeks late is not expedited. I hate this organization. Bad wishes to everyone involved with them.

It took WES 10 weeks to complete their course by course review service even though they obtained the transcript within a couple business days electronically. I assume the advertised 8 day turnaround only applies to people who are compelled to purchase the add on expedited service after the seemingly endless delays. Fortunately the college that I applied to does not play that game and made an admissions decision based on my original transcript alone. I only need the WES report for a credential which comes much later.

I submitted my application to WES in 2018. They made major mistakes and refused to make corrections. One of the courses was put as "Architectural Engineering" instead of "Artificial Intelligence". Though I raised the issue, it was never corrected as they said it was final. Another huge red flag was that many of the courses had random grades assigned. I will never ever use their service and would not recommend.

I recently utilized WES's transcript evaluation service, and unfortunately, it was an incredibly disappointing experience from start to finish. Not only did they fail to deliver on their promises, but their customer service was abysmal. Firstly, the evaluation process took much longer than advertised, causing significant delays in my plans. Despite their website claiming a specific turnaround time, it took weeks longer to receive any communication or updates on my evaluation status.
Secondly, when I attempted to reach out to their customer service team for clarification and assistance, I was met with nothing but frustration. The representatives were unhelpful, lacked basic knowledge about the process, and seemed disinterested in resolving my issues. Moreover, the quality of the evaluation itself was questionable. There were numerous errors and inconsistencies in the report, which cast doubt on the competence and thoroughness of their evaluation team. Overall, my experience with WES was nothing short of a nightmare. I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to look elsewhere. The lack of professionalism, poor communication, and subpar quality make them entirely unreliable and unworthy of trust.

I used WES back in 2012 when I went to college as an international student in Spain. Ever since 2017 I have been working as a US scholarship agent and I have had students use WES' services in some occasions. Only thing I can say at this very moment is that I will no longer use their services again. Not only have they been slow and incompetent every single time I have worked with them, but they have also provided almost no explanation at all for their delay, always hiding behind the same excuse: there is too much work volume. Just as an example, I have been working with a student this year who sent his transcripts over to WES in February. He paid extra for the 5 business day evaluation. To this day, May 10th, he has not yet received the evaluation and he needs to be in the US in less than 3 months. I think I said enough with that.

WES is NOT RELIABLE when it comes to receive the evaluation reports that you PAY EXTRA for and their CUSTOMER SERVICE is very NEGLIGENT. The first time my report was supposedly sent out was 01/18/2024 and by March as I haven't received anything I reached out, the CS Agent was very unprofessional and rude and basically told me that I needed to call to complain before, not over a month after as if it was my mistake (when the website even says delivery can take long and that's the reason why I waited long enough) that they had no idea what happened with my report; they did not have a tracking number or anything to actually know where my report was or what happened. I demanded for a second attempt since I had already paid for my report and I had to pay again for the new delivery order, I sent the payment on 04/04/2024 after re-confirming my address was correct as it was the first time.
Today is 05/06/2024 and still no report has been received and when I called the CS Agent said she could see I paid for the delivery back in April but the report was never sent out, that she was going to escalate the issue so it could be sent. At this point still, nobody has ever even said they are sorry for the inconvenience as they are clearly very incompetent but mostly negligent and I have no idea when my report will be sent and if I am finally going to receive it. Cherry on top, they DO NOT give you your money back so if you don't keep fighting with them you just lose it.

This company is a borderline scam, I am shocked they are still accredited by AICE. It took them 3 weeks to even look for the documents I sent them, despite me calling and messaging them several times to inquire why they have not started processing the documents. When they finally did look for the documents I sent them, they claimed they never received them. This to 100% untrue. It took me several more phone calls with WES to finally have them agree to give me a refund, and even then they took a $20 'service fee' for issuing the refund. Absolutely infuriating. I then used the AICE certified company Ucredo for my accreditation needs. Ucredo finished my accreditation in only a few days, and was less expensive than WES while actually accomplishing the service. Avoid WES at all costs.

DO NOT USE WES. They fraudulently indicate on their website that they can process your file within 7 biz days of receiving all of your documents. They had ours for well over 25 business days and did absolutely nothing. We had to employ a separate service provider - Josef ** - who was EXCELLENT TO WORK WITH - USE THEM! WES seemingly has no staff, no one in customer service could help us, no supervisors to talk to us and now they want to keep a $50 USD cancellation fee for DOING ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. I am very disappointed in the (dis)service WES has done to me and my job application. I sent my application for evaluation on the 21st of March 2024, knowing that I needed my evaluation before the end of April 2024. I uploaded my certificate, and my institution sent my transcript electronically to WES by the 29th of March, 2024. My WES account showed that my evaluation is in progress and that I am not required to do anything. This has been on my page since the 21st of March, 2024, only for WES to tell me that they did not have my transcript when I called to inquire about progress with my evaluation. Just imagine if I had not called to find out about my application. WES kept blaming my institution, insisting on more than two occasions that they had not received my documents. When I confirmed with my institution, my document was sent to WES on the 29th of March, 2024. Right now, I stand a chance of losing my job offer since it is conditioned on my evaluation. I called to complain, and the WES representative hung up on me. How am I supposed to be a happy and satisfied customer?

My experience with WES has been nothing short of a nightmare. I started my course by course evaluation in the beginning of March, having had my university send in my transcript to WES via postal mail. Up until the end of March nothing changed in my status even though WES promised to deliver results within 8 business days. I sent multiple inquiries about my status and they all went unanswered up for a whole week until the point that WES decides to put my status on hold because apparently the transcripts are missing. I get in touch with customer service via the phone and they informed me that WES did receive postal mail for my case in the middle of March but apparently did nothing with that and no one was able to tell me what exactly they had received either. I only get excuses that they are apparently changing their IT infrastructure and that this is the reason why everything has been taking so long.
Fast forward a whole week trying to escalate my case with customer service because I have been waiting 1.5 months now, my university contacts me stating they made a mistake in the transcripts, saying they resent it to WES via Email at submit@wes.org according to their own blog post about how to submit transcripts via email. I call customer service to confirm that they have received the email, instead the associate tries to tell me that she cannot verify the information FROM THEIR OWN BLOG POST saying that I have to have my institution make a partnership with them, which would undoubtedly mean several weeks of delay again considering how slow they are to respond to anything.
I am completely fed up with their incompetence and cancel my evaluation on the same day and lo and behold, suddenly my status changes to In progress, if they are considering the correct transcripts, only God knows… I call customer service saying I still want the cancellation making sure they don’t complete the evaluation before looking at my cancellation request and then conveniently saying ‘Sorry no refunds for completed evaluations’. Customer service guarantees me that won’t happen. Still I receive an email saying exactly that, even though my evaluation still says ‘In progress’.
I can’t even directly answer the customer service representative via email and have to go through another contact form. I paid $300 for WES to completely waste my time and exhaust my nerves. They are an absolute rip off and should be reported for their incompetence and at this point maybe even fraudulent conduct about not letting me cancel my evaluation.

Worst Customer Service ever! Very hard to reach them - no email. If you call them, they will ask you to fill out the web based "Contact Us" form. It doesn't work as it always shows error message no matter which web browser you use (Chrome, Mozilla, Edge, etc.). If you don't fill out the form, they will not take your case. But you cannot fill out the form as it will show error messages. So you will remain at an impasse like I have been for several days now! My case is left unresolved. I have a very tight timeline to send my course evaluation to a graduate school, but I somehow lost access to my records. WES Customer Service wouldn't help me without filling out the damn form I described above. As a customer, I was looking for a solution, which apparently they are failing to provide. There should be an easier way.

I was obliged to use WES as it is partnered with SOPHAS for online applications to Public Health programs in the US. I have a foreign diploma from a university in the UK. The transcript was received in early April 2024. I was given a completion date of April 24, which came and passed. Three phone call to determine what is going on. No information given as to when the document will complete whatever evaluation is actually taking place and be sent to the program. I was told twice that my transcript would be escalated due to the approaching deadline of May 1. This is in fact a misleading statement. I have filed a complaint with SOPHAS, which has partnered with WES to provide evaluation of foreign diplomas. There must be more trustworthy organizations to work with. I paid a hefty $250 for this service. Beware!

Wes Education's service has been extremely disappointing. Despite waiting patiently for two months, I have not received any response regarding my request. Upon inquiry, I was informed of a technical issue with no indication of when it will be resolved. This lack of transparency and inability to provide a timeline is unacceptable, especially when it affects my application for permanent residence. While they offered the option to cancel my request, the delay has caused significant inconvenience and uncertainty. Well, what to say? I simply lost a deadline for some doctorate programs because WES did not respect its deadlines. At this moment, it's been 20 working days since WES acknowledged my official transcripts and set the status to "In Progress". Their estimated time for a Course-by-Course evaluation is 8 working days, it's been 20 and till now, I have zero information. When I call they are only able to say "we cannot expedite processes now and your document is in progress". When I email they say "Your document is in progress" - GREAT! But it's been in progress for 20 working days (a month)!! DO NOT rely on WES delivery estimative; if you have time yeah, maybe go for it but if you're with a somewhat tight deadline as I am, DO NOT go for WES. At this moment, I lost 2 doctorate deadlines because of WES delays.

I was required to use an equivalency service by Kelly Education for a Canadian university to covert to a U.S. equivalency (ludicrous to me..). The time it took to process my transcript, once received, was too long. All that was required was to verify the degree type to a U.S. degree. The application was submitted on 3/20/24 and took weeks to "review" the transcript and then on the website it said it was sent out via "standard delivery" on 4/5/24. As of 4/18, I still have not received this and I do NOT understand why there is no email or digital option. I called on 4/18/24 and the CX person said "standard delivery" to WES = up to 30 days. Though he also said it should be USPS, which is a 3 day mailing time. I do NOT recommend WES as I do not understand why standard delivery w/ USPS would exceed 3 days (far exceeding what the USPS considers standard). This is costing me time and money.

Horrible experience working with World Education Services. I wish I had read the reviews before choosing to use their services. After paying so much money, the reports took much longer than it was advertised. Finally when the report arrived, they had major errors in making the courses and degree. The issues are still unresolved after weeks of writing to their customer support. Calls made to customer service are met with rude and robotic representatives who are just sitting there to tell you that only concerns sent in writing to their customer support will be entertained. All in all a very unprofessional attitude and a horrible experience using their services for academic assessment.

The service at WES is very poor. There is no regard for time. Customer service agents sound like they are reading from a script and can only say sorry for delay. The website tells you one time for reviewing and evaluating your document and after submitting the application the wait time is 3 to 4 times what is on their website. There needs to be a better way to process applications. They had all my documents from a previous application and all I doing is a document by document upgrade and the process is taking over one month. Worst customer service I have come across thus far. If I had the choice to chose no star, I would.

They are taking longer than the wait time. Also the company doesn't have a platform where we can write a review, you have to call customer care to write a review and you cannot write a negative review. It's been more than 23 days after receiving the transcript from my Institute. Their help centre staffs have no clue about the status of the documents. I have written so many email to them but no reply yet. Please be careful with this fraud organization. I am in a risk to loose my job offer.

This is a poor services for education evaluation. Things has been very slow. Customer services can't help speeding things up even it is due to their slow processing time. It has been almost one and a half month since my document arrived at their center via FEDEX. It has not been completed yet.

Ignore their website related to processing times. Once I submitted my documents they responded 2 days later stating it would be completed in 9 working days (not the 3 days or less as stated on website). The 10 days after their completion date and still NO report. I have called them twice and sent two emails on their website but still nothing. They are more than happy taking your money however; their customer service is beyond poor. If I could give them zero I would.

It took WES less than ten (10) days to complete my educational credential assessment upon receipt of my documents from my previous University. Based on this experience, I am of the view that WES has what it takes to delivering superior customer service and satisfying their clients. I therefore recommend WES to everyone for Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).

I sent them my educational credentials for evaluation and ordered DHL international service for fast delivery, however, the evaluation results were wrong, and they did not reply to international phone calls or messages in the chat. When I came back to Canada and was able to call from the local numbers, I had several conversations with different customer service representatives who just promised to escalate the matter, all as one. Nevertheless, I haven't got any word of response. This situation has been going on for three months. And the best that I heard so far is to order a new evaluation from a different institution, which means paying a quite sensitive fee again. To conclude, you might have a wrong evaluation for your hard-earned degrees, if so you won't have proper customer support or an opportunity to contact the WES team, hence, it's not worth a penny!

I'm generally satisfied with my experience. The only issue was that I was short on time, and the 8-day logo is applied after your documents get approved. In my case, the approval process took more than one month. Your sentence needs a few adjustments for clarity and grammatical correctness. Here's a revised version: Because of that, I opted for Globe Evaluation, which offers a 1-day rush service.

I recommend you to evaluate your degree somewhere else. They made a mistake evaluating my degree and declined to correct it or make any changes in their wrong evaluation, although it was too obvious that it was their mistake. Several times I had to call them that eventually the supervisor says we do not make any change and we do not offer any explanation. Such a bad experience with this company. I regret the moment I decided to use their evaluation service.

I had a seemingly fast experience with WES. Even when they said the process would take 4 weeks, it was out in about 2 weeks. Their site is easy to navigate through and understand. I got my evaluation timely. Kudos WES

I’ve made one request for a course by course transcript evaluation prior to this most recent transcript evaluation. This second evaluation request began early 2023. My school was delayed in providing degree related information. After informing WES of the situation, they told me I could submit a verification letter as proof that I was awarded the degree. My WES account was now also on hold and I had to pay an additional amount for my account to be re-activated before I could attempt to submit documents. I followed the suggestion to submit the verification letter, however my submission was repeatedly rejected despite being told to do so.
The letter was finally accepted in late 2023 and the evaluation was completed shortly after. Following this, I received my copy in the mail, however, problems continued. My copy had errors. It seems my original grades were simply duplicated on my transcript evaluation instead of being higher as per a partial evaluation of courses done previously by WES in my first request. I queried this discrepancy.
Subsequently, I got emails stating that my query was reviewed and a copy would be re-sent to me. I.e with the corrected grade equivalency and GPA. I should have received my copy in January of 2024. Obviously I didn’t. It was over 30 days now and I had called WES several times but was constantly told/asked to wait. I was told that if 30 days had passed without receipt, I could submit a message using the contact us feature on my WES account.
30 days passed and I eventually got an email stating that my copy was undeliverable and had been returned to WES. I’ve since been trying to clarify my next steps because I would like my copy of my evaluation that I paid for!! After approximately 4 (or more) phone calls, and a few query submissions, WES’s stance is that I have to pay shipping fees in order to get my copy. I was told that they have no control over the shipping agency, (as though I also do) and all I’d have to pay is $12 which is only a re-send fee. Apparently, this is much reduced since they were going to charge $145 for the whole process again.
Firstly, if they didn’t mess up my evaluation, I wouldn’t need to get it redone. Secondly, I’m not responsible for their shipping issues. The representative said I could choose for it to be expedited, however that was not an option when I was paying for the order, neither the first time nor second time. Why must the customer also be charged extra in order to have a ‘secure’ service. The mail is only going from Canada to the USA! Not any other party of the world where tracking is usually not available. Thirdly, the evaluation which contained the errors was successfully delivered to my address, indicating that there’s no problem with my address. Fourthly, even considering charging me all over again for the whole order is ridiculous!
Last but absolutely not least, WES made no good effort in properly communicating with me aside from emails which I cannot reply to. If they did, this situation would never have reached this far and I would not have had to bear the cost/s for their errors. I ended up paying the shipping fee and still my account has not been updated since checked a few minutes ago. Although I prefer to have no future business with WES, unfortunately, I may need to order copies of my evaluated transcript for future employment or academic pursuits. This was an extremely unpleasant experience! Most disappointing was the fact that regardless of the representatives saying sorry, I was given only one choice every time I called them, which was to pay additional fees.

I recently utilized World Education Services (WES) for an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) required by IRCC Canada. Overall, my experience with WES was satisfactory, and I obtained the desired results for my credentials. Nonetheless, the pricing structure appeared to lack fairness, especially for applicants from less economically developed countries. While I understand that services like these come with a cost, it would have been more appealing if the pricing reflected the economic context of the applicant's origin. The flat-rate pricing in dollars could be a burden for individuals from third-world countries, making the overall expenses associated with the immigration process significantly higher for them. In conclusion, WES delivers a reliable ECA service, but the pricing may pose a challenge for applicants from less affluent nations. A more nuanced pricing strategy that considers the economic context of the applicant's origin would enhance the accessibility of WES services to a wider demographic.

If you can, STAY AWAY from these people. I missed my deadline because of their slow and inefficient process. Each time I called they would ask me to submit a form and someone will contact me - never got any helpful response. Worse thing is that they don't take calls themselves. All calls are routed to some third party representative who really can't help. TERRIBLE COMPANY

Timeline of evaluating credentials was extremely satisfying, self explanatory website helps a lot to navigate, and best customer service. I am also very much satisfied with the process confidentiality and due attention to applicant's need.

If there were zero stars, I would give them that rating. This company has taken my money, and since October 10, 2023, I have not received any documents for which I paid, except for those on my account. Their response was that I needed to place a new order because my evaluation had been sent back to them. I believe they are intentionally doing this to extract extra money from us. Despite writing emails to them, I have not received any response. Stay away from WES if you don't want to be charged twice.

I have never in my life experienced such a poor service. The WES is a total waste of money, if you can stay away from them, you should. I filed a very simple accreditation request, that they took months for to even answer. You can not reach them and it takes a week to get a reply to a very simple answer. After trying everything to get the service done, they suddenly cancelled my file without my permission, only refunding part of my (big!) fee. I have never used the word thief for others before, but in this case there is no other way.

Difficult working with them. They are very particular for how they want the academic records to be sent to them. Even if it’s from a well known Australian university. All the documents per their requirements have to be sent within 180 days, or they will deactivate your account. And you have to pay extra fee to reactivate your application. This was not stated on the application page. Only in their terms and policies. They also won’t provide any update on your case until you pay the extra reactivation fee. Impossible to contact them - impossible to reach them by phone, email will take them ages to reply. Overall a very negative and scammy experience. It seems businesses these days try every possible way to reap you off. I work in IT. Press a button to “activate” costs $52? And it’s a non profit organization? Wow. Just further confirming to not trust businesses and corporations.

The whole process took a month which was not bad. But the last agent I spoke to because there was an error on my report, she was basically treating me like I was the one who made the mistake, interrupting me everytime I was trying to say something and I felt that she was not listening to me. My job is depending on this report. I asked for a supervisor and she hung up on me. And I still waiting for it to be resolved.

What I like most about my experience with WES is their efficiency. They finished the evaluation of my academic credentials way ahead of schedule. I will definitely recommend WES to those who wish to have their academic credentials evaluated.
