This is an AI training platform more than anything. I do not need my chats translated or modified by an algorithm or bot. My next challenge is to try to get some kind of assurance that my data, photos and videos have been deleted, as I requested. What a piece of garbage.

Terrible, terrible, really terrible, bad customer service. Possibly with robots? Real robots? Or, humans that act like robots in the way they treat other humans? I don’t know… I signed up for SilverSingles online on April 24th, 2026, and they said Welcome! And took money from my account. Then I tried to get on the site, but it said I was BLOCKED from the site. I was a returning customer so I wrote Customer Service and asked them why I was blocked. Their response was remarkably vague and extremely unhelpful.

I was very disappointed with my experience. Despite reaching out to literally hundreds of women, all I got were scammers. I reported at least 4 of them while on the site for a month. I seriously wondered if any of the profiles were real. I, too, experienced the "poof it's gone" phenomena of getting a like, trying to find out who it was, and the disappearing act. Sure, paying members get 20 "send a comment" options a week. Well, none of my comments met with so much as a "ha." It's so impersonal to just swipe left or right. Dating apps in general suck. They are taking advantage of people in an emotionally stressful situation.

I was not happy with the site, but what was most upsetting was the fact that they practice consumer fraud through the of use automatic renewal scams. It is a deceptive business practice that leads to unexpected charges and financial loss to consumers.

I’d give SS a ZERO rating if I could. A few years ago, I joined and had a pretty good amount of success. Lots of interest, texting and conversations. At one point I got over 200 “Likes”. Unfortunately, some of these dates just didn’t work out. Fast forward to Fall of 2025. These scammers (Silver Singles) updated their site AND IT IS HORRIBLE! Very difficult to navigate and forget about trying to find a HELP page. There is just too many problems with this site to go into. In 6 months I received ZERO interest from people even though I sent out many “Likes”. I’m not saying I wanted many LIKES…but ZERO???

I joined Silver Singles in late fall 2025. Initially, there was some interest but over time, the interest dwindled. The challenges are: there is no mechanism in place to initiate a conversation, connection or communication with anyone. All you can do is "like" or "not like" a profile. If there's a match, you get a contact. And just because you "match" does not mean that the person will respond. There is no mechanism in place to talk to people in real time. There is no mechanism in place to see who's viewed your profile. There is no mechanism in place to see when was the last time that person visited the site. And because people can browse for free, you are matched with ghosts, ie, people who haven't paid and are unlikely to reply.

This website should be 0 stars. Fake accounts with no customer service! I was a member for 18 months. When I canceled my account they still charged my debit card 7 days after canceling my account. No Phone # to call, so I sent email and they said you will still be billed after cancel and deleting acount. Worst customer service and complete scam. DO NOT USE THIS SITE!!! NO REFUND!!! AFTER THEY GET YOUR MONEY!!!!

Horrible dating site!!!!! No way on the site to contact people who run the site! You get the same people “cursed” for you all the time. The people are often not even near the distance from you that you specified! When you are dissatisfied with the site, even less than a month after you signed on, you are stonewalled by the site owners re: a refund. They say you can transfer your membership to a friend or relative. (Who would want to gift a non-working site to a friend or relative?) The only way I found access to the Silver Singles administrators was to go on my search site and put in Silver Singles Customer Service. Then I got automated replies from a ”person” who told me the above information. Do not repeat my mistake. Do not go on Silver Singles. You will be sorry you did!!!

I have used many dating apps over the years and Silver Singles is by far the worst. Customer service is non existent, once you pay you can never do anything with them. You can't tell who has liked you, you only see one picture even thought most people put multiple pics on their profile. You really can't see anything compared to the other apps, don't join this one, it will do nothing for you.

I have found this site to be frustrating because the responses I have received from Customer service are not truthful - they say they'll take a change to the managers but I have asked 4 times over the past year and nothing has helped. It is insulting to those who expect a decent service and instead are receiving profiles based on bad algorithms and many profiles are not current subscribers. I am on for 4 more months and will not renew and the management are unresponsive and don't care about the customers and delegate customer service to put a smiley face on their responses while they do not address the real issues themselves. I joined last year when the platform was better but not that good, but now it is clearly worse. Try another.

This site is totally fraudulent with no way of contacting a live person or even a bot! It was designed to steal your money. I’m a verified buyer and I’ve just deleted my account after 5 months. Beware buyer! I’ve written to the Better Business Bureau as well.

Was on the site for 3 days. I only responded to 1 male on the site. After messaging with him another recommendation came up and it was the same guy, different profile, name and location. Claims someone stole his picture and created the fake profile. How did they steal a picture that wasn't on the website? This is a total scam site. I just hope I can stop the charges to my credit card!.

I messaged 3 women last year. One replied. We had a nice chat but she lives over 1000 miles away, so I stopped the conversation. In July I paid for a year. Recently they began requiring verification. I typed the following into their Contact page: "There is nothing that needs to be secured! One I can live with but you're hitting me with it every 2nd or 3rd time. It is extremely annoying as hell. Please revert me to the previous login method requiring NO verification or give me my money back!" I hit the "Submit" button and nothing happened. Again, just now.

I can't access anything, or see anything on anyone... in the free trial, When I read all the neg reviews from paid members!.. and the URL SILVER SINGLES, ABOUT keeps flagging the website as Page Not Found.

Does not live up to anything advertised. No communication with others on this site possible. Will not cancel/refund my money, nor will PayPal. Is there a connection there? I hope not. But save your money. Try anything but SilverSingles. Oh, and most single ladies are from Randolph Missouri, population 67.

Silver Singles was a nice service when I joined in August, but a program update in November left the site almost impossible to find a match, or connect with someone. Ladies I'd viewed and liked were no longer available to contact. I'd not recommend the service at any price in the current state.

I joined early October 2025. Then, you could see who visited your profile and send messages to someone you liked, even before they mutually liked you. Then, early November, I started getting redirected to the app. The format changed, and not for the better. Now, you can’t see who visited your profile and cannot send messages before receiving a like. I complained multiple times to customer service. Eventually, I deleted my account, with 3 months left. Site is total waste of time

Silver Singles is the biggest scam going for dating apps! I became a premium member and everything stayed about the same. You either pick a heart to save them or a heart with a slash through it to discard that person. In order to message a person, they have to heart you and then you could message each other. So you could spend 8 hours a day every day and never get a connection! I canceled my subscription in about a week and they kept my $50.00 or more, but I told them they were going to get a good review and here it is…

I have been using the site for three months looking for a man who shares my interests. Many never bother to respond at all. Others are looking for younger women. Often the app goes out and you need to sign in again. They recently changed the app and eliminated much of the information about you and your goals. I thought I would try it as I was about to cancel. Now I probably will cancel. Often the photos are covered over and hard to see the person. You contact your desired choices and they do not simply say, not interested sorry. Or write me with more information about you.

Nothing free about it at all. You have to pay a membership fee if you want any decent access. You select your country of residence asking for approx km limit of matches. I was getting singles from the USA and other countries in Europe! No good to me.

Wow. App rarely loads without a restart of phone. I decided to give it a shot as a coworker said he met his current partner on the site. Unfortunately for me, I paid for 6 months. I have used other online dating platforms and have never seen so many fake AI profiles...ever. I will venture a guess at 90%. They're easy to spot. I would think twice about handing over your money. As a side note...the company that runs Silver Singles is in Germany. Good luck with customer service or a refund.

At the beginning with SS, they offered a large number to select from, but the majority were from far away states. After a year's time I found they were not following my preferences at all. To top it off, they inserted a weird guy's photo in place of mine!

I am a minority woman and as soon as I "liked" a profile on Silver Singles the "profile" messaged me immediately but I could not read the message until I paid for the service. I messaged back but never got a response and two weeks later the "profile" disappeared. There have subsequently been VERY few men who meet my ethnicity criteria. I have contacted "Customer Care" and requested a refund. 😠

This dating app deserves 0 stars. The business model feels deceptive: you can’t access any features without paying for a subscription, yet even after paying, access to features is still limited. Reputable dating services usually provide a free trial with full access so people can decide if the platform meets their needs. This one does not. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Oh my goodness this is an awful website, awful program. Nothing works. You try to reach out to another member and it tells you to reload that there is an error that you need to reload and that member disappears forever. You are told that someone visited your profile push this button to see who it was… That person is nowhere to be found and is not listed in members who have visited your profile. When you reach out for help, you were given all kinds of complicated technical instructions. Why don’t they just fix the website instead of expecting their paid members to do the work for them? This is the worst. If I could’ve given it zero stars I would have.

Silver Singles website is the worst! Logging in should be easy and staying online should be easier. I've been thrown off on the middle of conversations and then I can't get back on...for days. Don't use! They say: clear the cache, browser history, etc and I still get the same stupid error message:"Your session has ended. Please log in again." I was supposed to meet someone, but because of all this nonsense, we couldn't finish communicating. She must think I was ghosting her. DONT USE SILVER SINGLES!!!!

DO NOT use this site. It and their members are targeting older folks. I had 3 matches where we exchanged messaging w/in the app/website. ALL 3 I eventually received a message from SS that the individuals were delisted due to suspicious profiles and behavior.

I signed up for 3 months. They immediately assumed because I’m a certain age and look like I do, I must be catfishing and I couldn’t possibly look this good, I had fresh photos, unfiltered, little or no makeup and no photoshop. I have been a professional model most of my life. BTW models get older too. So they locked me out of my account stole my money and did not respond to my emails except to say: unless I show them photos of both sides of my drivers license and my passport, they are assuming there are discrepancies. Of course they already had my real name address and credit card and email. I told them to Google me. They just wanted my money. I’m having my bank go after them. The first hour I was looking, before they blocked me, I was underwhelmed with the quality of men. Not educated, not taking care of themselves, less interesting than I would see in the local market. Silver Disappointment.

This site is a platform for con artists, catfishing and fake profiles. There are more fake profiles than real people. It took me two weeks to figure out that everyone except for one person was a scammer with a fake profile. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! They won't refund after 3 days, and you won't know it's a scam till after the refund period is over.

I've been a member with a 6 month subscription since mid December, 2024. I have over "99" matches based on my profile, which gets many positive comments from women all over the country, even though my perimeter range is set at 50 miles. There is basically no good filtering to narrow down by points, location, etc. Even though some of those are selective and should work, but they just don't. I've encountered scammers, been ghosted, had several members freak out when I told them someone ATTEMPTED to scam me, not that I'd been scammed. I've had multiple security warnings, after the fact of communicating with matches, a day or several later.

I did go some smiles. Send back smiles and messages. Never got any answer back . Like I don't know if they receive it at all any of my messages or smiles, it's the first and last time. I'm buying a subscription.

This site is horrible! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! In over two months, I have not seen more than one man that seems appealing. I think that when you are using the "free" site, they serve you fake profiles of attractive, successful men to lure you into paying for the subscription. This site should be ashamed of itself for the amount of money it charges with no viable or suitable options to choose from. Don't get sucked into their unsavory practices to make you pay for the subscription.

The longer I used the site the more apparent it became that there was a very large amount of fake profiles. I also didn't like the fact that there was no way to browse through the site and look at profiles, the system of just being sent what they believe is a match didn't work very well.

I have had this membership since 11/2024. It is very limited. 2 months before my membership expires their indicating I should renew my membership. They send you matches once a day and it's one or two people to view. It is disappointing for how much money you pay and I believe that their pulling you along so they can make money. I haven't met anyone yet. And when you send messages out no responses and I'm a very attractive woman. This company does not have you and your goals in mind. It's all about money for SilverSingles.

After paying over $160 for 3 months and using it for 2 weeks. Whenever I go to the site there is a pop-up window switch demands that I allow all cookies or I will not get access to my site.. It's not the way we do business.

Fairly expensive, You have to wait for their suggestions which are provided once in a while. Many of the matches proposed are totally irrelevant. For example I live in Quebec and I the site proposes candidates from BC or Ontario. Seems like their bank of candidate is empty. Will never use this site again.

This site has ALL fake profiles. They actually sent me “matches” with the SAME photos at the same time with two different names and locations. It is insane how brazen of a scam company this is!!! I reported a scammer (sent screenshots shot and all info) and the next day the same photos were sent to me with a different name and age. I found the same fake profiles on Facebook dating - same photos but different names and ages. STAY AWAY!!!! Run don’t walk! Go to a local mixer instead…

waste of money, useless unless you pay, or the other person, I doubt anyone is real, plus their website is garbage, I had to minimize to read and find the entire website, obviously set up that way?!# Machine code pops up instead of their website?

This is painfully wrong. Nothing works in Silver Singles, except payments for membership.. The system doesn’t appear to be real. It’s such a gimmick that wonder how somehow they managed to be listed as one of “Top dating site” in internet. Be smart, save your time and money.

Absolutely HORRIBE site. So many flaws it's hard to even now where to begin. How about the fact that I live in Oshawa, ON, have set my preferences to matches with 40 miles, yet 80% of the matches I get are in the US (PA, MI, OH, NY, etc.). If I send ten messages, 8 of them NEVER EVEN GET READ. That tells me they're using a lot of old, dormant profiles, profiles of people that aren't even active and haven't been for probably a long time. I have only communicated with someone from SilverSingles twice in the 3.5 months I've been on the site, and both times it was a scammer, LOL. This site is a complete joke. It's sad how pathetic it is. A complete waste of time and money. You will die alone before you'll ever meet anyone on this horrible, fake site. STAY AWAY!
