I have been using the site for three months looking for a man who shares my interests. Many never bother to respond at all. Others are looking for younger women. Often the app goes out and you need to sign in again. They recently changed the app and eliminated much of the information about you and your goals. I thought I would try it as I was about to cancel. Now I probably will cancel. Often the photos are covered over and hard to see the person. You contact your desired choices and they do not simply say, not interested sorry. Or write me with more information about you.

Nothing free about it at all. You have to pay a membership fee if you want any decent access. You select your country of residence asking for approx km limit of matches. I was getting singles from the USA and other countries in Europe! No good to me.

Wow. App rarely loads without a restart of phone. I decided to give it a shot as a coworker said he met his current partner on the site. Unfortunately for me, I paid for 6 months. I have used other online dating platforms and have never seen so many fake AI profiles...ever. I will venture a guess at 90%. They're easy to spot. I would think twice about handing over your money. As a side note...the company that runs Silver Singles is in Germany. Good luck with customer service or a refund.

At the beginning with SS, they offered a large number to select from, but the majority were from far away states. After a year's time I found they were not following my preferences at all. To top it off, they inserted a weird guy's photo in place of mine!

I am a minority woman and as soon as I "liked" a profile on Silver Singles the "profile" messaged me immediately but I could not read the message until I paid for the service. I messaged back but never got a response and two weeks later the "profile" disappeared. There have subsequently been VERY few men who meet my ethnicity criteria. I have contacted "Customer Care" and requested a refund. 😠

This dating app deserves 0 stars. The business model feels deceptive: you can’t access any features without paying for a subscription, yet even after paying, access to features is still limited. Reputable dating services usually provide a free trial with full access so people can decide if the platform meets their needs. This one does not. Overall, a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

Oh my goodness this is an awful website, awful program. Nothing works. You try to reach out to another member and it tells you to reload that there is an error that you need to reload and that member disappears forever. You are told that someone visited your profile push this button to see who it was… That person is nowhere to be found and is not listed in members who have visited your profile. When you reach out for help, you were given all kinds of complicated technical instructions. Why don’t they just fix the website instead of expecting their paid members to do the work for them? This is the worst. If I could’ve given it zero stars I would have.

Silver Singles website is the worst! Logging in should be easy and staying online should be easier. I've been thrown off on the middle of conversations and then I can't get back on...for days. Don't use! They say: clear the cache, browser history, etc and I still get the same stupid error message:"Your session has ended. Please log in again." I was supposed to meet someone, but because of all this nonsense, we couldn't finish communicating. She must think I was ghosting her. DONT USE SILVER SINGLES!!!!

DO NOT use this site. It and their members are targeting older folks. I had 3 matches where we exchanged messaging w/in the app/website. ALL 3 I eventually received a message from SS that the individuals were delisted due to suspicious profiles and behavior.

I signed up for 3 months. They immediately assumed because I’m a certain age and look like I do, I must be catfishing and I couldn’t possibly look this good, I had fresh photos, unfiltered, little or no makeup and no photoshop. I have been a professional model most of my life. BTW models get older too. So they locked me out of my account stole my money and did not respond to my emails except to say: unless I show them photos of both sides of my drivers license and my passport, they are assuming there are discrepancies. Of course they already had my real name address and credit card and email. I told them to Google me. They just wanted my money. I’m having my bank go after them. The first hour I was looking, before they blocked me, I was underwhelmed with the quality of men. Not educated, not taking care of themselves, less interesting than I would see in the local market. Silver Disappointment.

This site is a platform for con artists, catfishing and fake profiles. There are more fake profiles than real people. It took me two weeks to figure out that everyone except for one person was a scammer with a fake profile. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! They won't refund after 3 days, and you won't know it's a scam till after the refund period is over.

I've been a member with a 6 month subscription since mid December, 2024. I have over "99" matches based on my profile, which gets many positive comments from women all over the country, even though my perimeter range is set at 50 miles. There is basically no good filtering to narrow down by points, location, etc. Even though some of those are selective and should work, but they just don't. I've encountered scammers, been ghosted, had several members freak out when I told them someone ATTEMPTED to scam me, not that I'd been scammed. I've had multiple security warnings, after the fact of communicating with matches, a day or several later.

I did go some smiles. Send back smiles and messages. Never got any answer back . Like I don't know if they receive it at all any of my messages or smiles, it's the first and last time. I'm buying a subscription.

This site is horrible! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY! In over two months, I have not seen more than one man that seems appealing. I think that when you are using the "free" site, they serve you fake profiles of attractive, successful men to lure you into paying for the subscription. This site should be ashamed of itself for the amount of money it charges with no viable or suitable options to choose from. Don't get sucked into their unsavory practices to make you pay for the subscription.

The longer I used the site the more apparent it became that there was a very large amount of fake profiles. I also didn't like the fact that there was no way to browse through the site and look at profiles, the system of just being sent what they believe is a match didn't work very well.

I have had this membership since 11/2024. It is very limited. 2 months before my membership expires their indicating I should renew my membership. They send you matches once a day and it's one or two people to view. It is disappointing for how much money you pay and I believe that their pulling you along so they can make money. I haven't met anyone yet. And when you send messages out no responses and I'm a very attractive woman. This company does not have you and your goals in mind. It's all about money for SilverSingles.

After paying over $160 for 3 months and using it for 2 weeks. Whenever I go to the site there is a pop-up window switch demands that I allow all cookies or I will not get access to my site.. It's not the way we do business.

Fairly expensive, You have to wait for their suggestions which are provided once in a while. Many of the matches proposed are totally irrelevant. For example I live in Quebec and I the site proposes candidates from BC or Ontario. Seems like their bank of candidate is empty. Will never use this site again.

This site has ALL fake profiles. They actually sent me “matches” with the SAME photos at the same time with two different names and locations. It is insane how brazen of a scam company this is!!! I reported a scammer (sent screenshots shot and all info) and the next day the same photos were sent to me with a different name and age. I found the same fake profiles on Facebook dating - same photos but different names and ages. STAY AWAY!!!! Run don’t walk! Go to a local mixer instead…

waste of money, useless unless you pay, or the other person, I doubt anyone is real, plus their website is garbage, I had to minimize to read and find the entire website, obviously set up that way?!# Machine code pops up instead of their website?

This is painfully wrong. Nothing works in Silver Singles, except payments for membership.. The system doesn’t appear to be real. It’s such a gimmick that wonder how somehow they managed to be listed as one of “Top dating site” in internet. Be smart, save your time and money.

Absolutely HORRIBE site. So many flaws it's hard to even now where to begin. How about the fact that I live in Oshawa, ON, have set my preferences to matches with 40 miles, yet 80% of the matches I get are in the US (PA, MI, OH, NY, etc.). If I send ten messages, 8 of them NEVER EVEN GET READ. That tells me they're using a lot of old, dormant profiles, profiles of people that aren't even active and haven't been for probably a long time. I have only communicated with someone from SilverSingles twice in the 3.5 months I've been on the site, and both times it was a scammer, LOL. This site is a complete joke. It's sad how pathetic it is. A complete waste of time and money. You will die alone before you'll ever meet anyone on this horrible, fake site. STAY AWAY!

If you are thinking of purchasing a premium membership. STOP RIGHT NOW! DO NOT DO IT! This was the biggest waste of time and money that I have experience on any online dating site. The MOST of people that they matched me were not a match at all. You are unable to seek a match for yourself you had to wait for them to match you. There were even times that there were NO MATCHES on my page. It was my worst experience ever. And to top it off when I tried to cancel they keep giving you the runaround- sending you to various pages on their site and continued to charge my card even after I sent a message via their form to cancel. Save yourself the aggravation!!

My experience in just less than a month has been extremely poor. It seems Silver Singles has no vetting of the women who sign on. I signed on for 3 months and had to quit before 1 month, Every profile is rated basically the same and in the middle of their graph. Quite a few list their email address as their name. So many scammers! Though I paid for 3 months, they didn't offer a refund of 2 months which a reputable organization would do. Very disappointing site!

This entire website is nothing more than a scam. They let you see people for at least a couple of days. The whole entire time trying to get your credit card information to purchase more. They show the same people over and over again. I logged on months ago, only to return today. Two exactly the same faces from before. These people are not even listed on SilverSingles. They are using their faces to scam you into purchasing their Dating website. Once again, crooked humans trying to screw over a good people.

Their algorithms do not work based on your profile. I specifically stated only matches within 50 miles, it’s one of their choices on the site. I continually received matches from as far away as 3500 miles. I live in Canada and 30% of my matches were over 50 miles away in the US as well. Their answer to me "We're sorry to hear about your experience with our app. To find more singles in your area, we recommend reviewing and adjusting your search criteria if necessary. Should you require any further assistance, please contact our customer care team. Thank you!"

They lead you to believe you are going to pay 19.99 per month and then charge you for 6 months. Liars and thieves! Stay away. This is very dishonest and I strongly do not recommend. This is how they do business.

The vast majority of accounts with an attractive lady are phony accounts. Why aren't they being screened? The clues: (1) Their "name" is a g-mail or other account, trying to get you off the site; (2) the wording is obviously AI-generated with rich prose including colorful verbs (who, for example, uses the word "embarked?"); and (3) photos can be readily checked with a facial recognition system, like Pim Eyes. There ARE some high-quality women to meet, but be careful.

Beware even when you put that you don't want auto renewal - they charge you!!! I try go get into the account I set up and used for a week - no luck. The CC company can reverse, so I get to dispute. Then the nightmare begins and they tell you too bad so sad. I am so tired of companies just charging accounts - they are awful!!!

I signed up with SS for 6 month and have been using it for about 2 month now. So far I had two "candidates" contacted me. We exchange a few messages and phone numbers. Both "candidates" turned out to be scammers. I had an experience with scammers before. They all follow the same pattern., just like they have a script. According to SS contract agreement they do not do background check and do not verified if person, men or women, are actually real people. But they do tell you be careful of scammers. So, like every other online dating services, SS just to make money of "members". You're on your own and responsible for your own safety. I've been using other online dating services and they all the same. None of them provide and guarantees real service. It's all money making machines.
