I rarely use my Facebook account, however I went to log in to it and I got a message saying my account disabled. I did not give any false information or violate any regulations that I am aware of. Have made numerous attempts to get the issue resolved from the worthless Facebook Help Center. That Help center is a joke. Then it wants some sort of files etc. An absolute nightmare. No phone number or customer service. Zero help or info from Facebook.

While actual hate speech runs rampant on the Facebook platform with no action taken by Facebook on most of it, I am currently sitting in Facebook jail for 3 days for suggesting that people block a troll rather than engage with them. It's rather odd that benign comments land people blocked from Facebook for days at a time whereas racial slurs, religious discrimination, sexism, homophobia, and plain bullying all result in a "this doesn't violate our terms of service" message. Facebook's automatic moderation algorithms are broken and Facebook doesn't appear to care. They don't have to care either. With Facebook, its users are the product they're selling to advertisers.

I have repeatedly reported fake news, sites, obscene language on Facebook multiple times. They ALWAYS just give me a pat answer on how to block or not follow the fake news. They are a HUGE part of the problem with fake news these days. I would love our do nothing congress to act on this and other fake news websites.

I have been a Facebook member for eight years. I have not violated their Community Standards in over two years. Nevertheless, I have been blocked from commenting the last eight months for comments over two years ago to eight years ago. Each block is 30 days with only a day between each block. I see no end in sight. It appears this blocking will just go on and on. I am not able to go back over two years to delete any comment. This situation is out of my control.

You can be banned, blocked, or suspended like a child for no reason whatsoever given. Maybe a group of people or a Facebook group admin doesn't like your political opinion. They will tell you as long as it doesn't violate TOS. This isn't true. Complete censorship. And arbitrary blocking. I've had some friends and once to myself were locked out until you take pictures of yourself and send them to them... Others have been banned because people report your post "offends them" ie: doesn't agree with their political opinions. Be prepared for a frustrating, unfair and censored experience. And if you pay you will have no recourse to ask why you were blocked or removed if you happened to make someone mad who wants you gone.

So on February 2, 2018 Facebook blocked me from posting in groups for a week because me post my food pics in group looks spammy. (Lol I know right). So then February 9, 2018 I'm able to post, but every time I posted a food picture in a group, I had to verify that my food pic wasn't spam. Facebook claim they was going to fix the problems. On February 13, 2018, someone on my page added me in a gay male group. I wrote on the group page who added me on here with all these **, and next thing I know I get blocked for 24 hours. I wasn't able to comment, like post, respond to messages nothing.

I go to my Facebook acct. I'm locked out. They claim unusual activity. Now they want a photo. Well what happen to the last photo when I was locked out in Nov-2017. After I sent a photo over 7 times still can't get in my account. They claim they have to review it, it's been 2 days. Still can't get in my account. Now they claim they sent a code. Well they sent 5 different codes however neither of them worked. Then they claimed they set my phone number as my reset code. I know my damn phone number. That didn't work either. They cant tell me the unusual activity. They cant even send a reset code that works. And the Facebook site still says they're checking my photo so I cant login to my acct.

After I signed up with Facebook, I uploaded my photos, picked out a Facebook URL and started sending friend requests to friends I knew. Well within minutes I get signed out of my account for security reasons, Facebook asked me to upload a photo to verify my identity, so I uploaded my drivers license that showed my name address, photo etc. 3 days later I was able to log back in, but within minutes I get booted out again asking for the same verification again. So uploaded my drivers license again! 3 days later was able to log back in, and after a few days it happens again! I swear I was starting to get really upset where I said if it happens again I will leave Facebook for good.

Hello. On Dec 28 2017 my 8 or 9 years this year main personal account was disable for no reason. When I try to submit my appeals after few hours I receive the message that I'm ineligible to use Facebook and the decision is final. What! When that happen I try again to submit but no response. I try over and over again after two months with 35 reply no words from Facebook but the case still open but no words from Facebook. I don't know why? All of my documents I sent but no words from Facebook. What happen to the Facebook system. All of my 8 years of memories, photos, friend, important friend abroad, even the groups was gone!! It's like Skynet Terminator!!

I was suspended for 3 days under the harassment and bullying "standards" they have. The problem is, I was quoting to someone what a lady said to me and when I reported it, they said it did NOT violate their standards. Well, I can't harass myself! The first time I was suspended for 24 hrs I had also quoted something the same woman said about my daughter at a different time. I have never used her name even though she uses ours in her posts along with degrading racial slurs and violent threats. She continues to harass and threaten even her own children and us reported on a regular basis.

I set up a Facebook like page for my business, it was building likes slowly but surely and very slow, but the response to my posts, initially was good. Then I was harassed by Facebook with endless pushy messages to boost posts by paying for boosts, paying for page likes and paying for ad campaigns and for the contact/phone button and my website to be promoted. Like a fool I decided to try the boosted posts and ads etc. Then all manner of vicious trolls offering the same service as myself, on Facebook, for free took to leaving embarrassingly derogatory and banal posts on my life page. I complained to Facebook and asked for them to be removed and I got no help.

I used to use Facebook for Photography but left several months ago. The reason why really didn't have anything to do with it but A. I wish I had done that sooner and B. I couldn't be more glad that I did. Facebook really is the largest scam out there for several reasons, and like others who would like to see it happen, I'd be more than happy to see them face a lawsuit. Facebook really doesn't care about your privacy regardless your so-called "Privacy Settings". Anyone can look up your name and view all content you post on your timeline as well as steal your uploaded images and even profile picture.

On February 5, 2018 my Facebook account said session expired and when I went to log back on it said my password was not correct. I tried changing the password and it said that account does not exist. Then everyone on my friends list receive a viral video. There is no contact phone number for customer service and the ones online have different numbers that I don't trust. They don't offer the choice to email them. I had no choice but to have my friends go onto my account to report that it has been hacked and after 2 days of nothing happening and not contacting me I called LifeLock and they tried helping me contact customer survive to no avail.

I have been plagued with bogus and unjustified spam complaints from Facebook (12 to date). I report each and every one, with no response, of course. Dell Premium Support acknowledges that this is a known problem, and it seemed to have ended, for a few days, but it's BACK!

Unable to upload requested id verification - In the past 3 to 4 days I've had twice as many accounts on Facebook shutdown! For absolutely no reason! I am not a drug dealer! I am not a prostitute! I don't propagate any form of pornography! I simply promote ** history and share Community Resources. Again this is about my eighth account with Facebook. I have always use all my real information including my name, email and phone numbers. I don't have duplicitous accounts. I have contacted their customer service email then followed all their help suggestions and get nowhere. Facebook way to go.

Facebook blocked my posts as SPAM, I am the organiser of a major Salford reunion, I am also an author of the book A SALFORD LAD. Because the book is in great demand, and I having been asked by many friends for a direct link to my book, I have been putting the link on several sites, also I have been interviewed on BBC Radio Manchester about the book, the video link to the interview has been posted, this too has been classified as SPAM and Facebook has blocked this too. Facebook is supposed to be a social media site connecting friends who want to communicate with each other. On their support inbox they openly apologise for their mistake and promise to allow the post, but they never keep their word, as I write I am still blocked from posting on other friends' sites, this is an intrusion to my rights, free speech in this country is the right of all people, not even Facebook is bigger than that, I intend to raise the matter with the BBC. Thank you.

I'm a valid human being, and created an account with Facebook under my own name and phone number. They have locked me out because they said there was unusual activity. As far as I know no one tried to hack me, and there's nothing unusual about getting on Facebook and making comments on news sites. They want me to prove I exist by submitting a photo of myself, yet when I try, they say try again later. I think what they're trying to do is weed out the real people and keep the trolls and bots. I am disillusioned with them, and as much as I hate it, I'm going to Twitter.

If zero was a rating, this would be it! They let fake inboxes and leads come in on my Ads so they could charge me! They took my money and ran with it several times. The boosted ads are a waste of money. The team responds late when you have issues. They let anyone steal your posts without your permission and they do absolutely nothing about it! They definitely suck! I am glad that a post I made went completely viral and I didn't pay a penny for it since they took all of my money before and it didn't do a thing for my business! It didn't bring any leads in at all. All those fake impressions are for absolutely nothing.

I, too, have been suspended from Facebook for 30 days, three times, for absolute nonsense. The first time was for telling someone who was typing in all caps that this was annoying. The second time, I commented on a thread about Hitler's supposed religion, saying that he was actually an atheist. The third and most recent time involved my referring to someone who has been harassing and belittling others for years as a troll.

Got on FB and couldnt get in my account. They locked me out after I had reported some guy calling people ** and posting pics of ** kids hangin from a rope dead. Next thing I know I got locked out for defending people. I asked them 10 times to remove it and never did so when I say something and he reports me and I am blocked for 7 days. FB is a joke and we should get a class act lawsuit on Mark.

I think we as consumers bear some responsibilty in why we continued to use this platform. Like others, I was locked out. In Facebook Jail. No explanation as to why. When I used their account verification process, it sent a code to my cell. But it didn't work. A link there read, "Send again" So I clicked it. Again, received a code which didn't work. Eventually I stopped getting codes.

First I want to describe the experience I've had with Facebook locking me out my account and disabling it for no reason. I had my account for 8 years now. All of a sudden it is gone with no explanation given. They ask you for your ID. I send it in but no one responds. My account is still disabled. I made another account because I run a business on there. I used my government name. They still blocked me and asked for my ID. This has to be a crime. And I hope this reaches a lawyer because I am interested in suing them. I have never heard of a social media site asking for personal information. You send it in and you're still blocked and everything is lost forever. I honestly can see Facebook being sued over this. And I want to be first in line.

Where do I start with the issues with this social media site? For one, Facebook has been banning the wrong people for all the wrong reasons, and I have to wonder if maybe Zuckerburg has outsourced his HQ to individuals who are not properly trained nor do they know what they are doing at all? I have been banned for things that have NEVER gone against their "community standards." But when I have reported sexual harassment, harassment, violence, gore, hate speech, credible threat of violence, ** videos etc... They told me they found "no violation."

Blocked, but not sure why. I am experiencing this, but have no idea why. Except perhaps because I am a conservative. I haven't been notified by Facebook, and I see from looking on the site that others having had the same problem can't get anyone to address it.

For reasons that appear suspicious, Facebook is now asking for photos of myself and other personal information that they have no place asking for. Facebook's security (based on Russian ads during the 2016 election) is suspect and not to be trusted. I, unfortunately have been scammed before in my life, and we must be very cautious who we entrust personal info to. I have been posting to an anti-Trump Facebook page for many months.

As a page owner/moderator for several community pages and a personal user myself I have found Facebook's technical support the worst I've ever encountered on any website on the internet! When you submit any kind of question or request you always receive the same canned automated response and then they close your submission without ever resolving it or offering any advice on how to resolve it! Many times they respond with a reply that has absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the issue you're having! Facebook needs to work on their technical support more so than any other issue with the website! It may as well not even exist because as it is now it is completely useless!

Have had Facebook for quite a few years... 10 or just about. Use it for personal use and also have my shop linked to my personal page and a "knitting group" so that our customers/members can interact with each other. Have paid for FB publicity over the years, use to interact with customers, post new products, etc. etc. Everything that is within the rules. ALWAYS within the rules - even though the rules keep changing. A few months ago, I was sharing the group posts with OTHER groups which I belong to as usual.

I signed up to Facebook using my mobile phone number. I was on my PC at the time. However later when I was in bed I logged in from mobile phone app. Facebook then locked me out of my account pretending it was for security reasons. Uhh? I logged in from the same mobile phone as the mobile phone number I signed up as?! It's obviously me. Now I've been getting the same message for 2 days now saying they have to review my photo. 2 days!!! I need FB for my university course to stay in touch with my group. Facebook is ran by some very very evil people indeed.

Around 2010, I was sent a friend invitation by Michael **, who had similar interests as me. He was not old enough to use the site at the time. I foolishly accepted his friend add, and he began sending me text messages like "talk to me." The day I blocked him, I returned home to find my account disabled, and a post from ** on my YouTube channel stating that he had gotten his friends to lie about me.

I was put in Facebook jail for 24 hours for defending myself against a complete stranger. In the past, I have lodged complaints about inappropriate posts and have had people attack me and was told repeatedly that the content doesn't violate their policies. However, when I defended myself, I was immediately put in jail, supposedly for 24 hours, which has now stretching for 48+ hours. I have no other way of communicating with people as I suffer from severe social anxiety, depression, and agoraphobia. I cannot make a phone call without having a panic attack. I am sick and tired of seeing neo-**, evangelical, hate filled posts that are deemed "acceptable," but me defending myself is offensive.

I was sent a message demanding copies of my personal ID and bills in order to verify my account. I told them I have a stalker who has being harassing me for a while, so I took my last name off of my account but still used my name. I have a police report to report this person and I use my Facebook to get ahold of friends for safety, well my harasser found my account and reported it. Now I cannot get into my Facebook. I have also had my identity stolen before and money stolen this way so I am not going to share my personal ID and bills with a site that is on social media and shares everything. Now I have an automated system telling me I am under review, and I can't get ahold of anyone I know as Facebook is my main point of contact with everyone I know. I am also disabled and this has pretty much isolated me most of the time as I cannot work a lot or get out to socialize so I do it through the contact I have on Facebook!

I had access to primary and secondary emails. I had an old phone number set up so it wouldn't let me on. Only way was to send pic with ID so I did 16 times. Never once got an email back. It's 2 months later now. It's a joke. I mean I'm emotionally distressed. I had FB for contact with my brother. Now I can't and haven't been able to talk to him in 2 months. I got addicted to cigarettes and doctor bills now I take nerve pills. Never had these problems before my brain thought I was cut off forever.

Facebook put me in Facebook jail (locked out) for 7 days without an appeal and without a trial despite the other person started hurling personal attacks on me and others. And now I can't even post for 7 days because I didn't realize I was trying to download an image that Facebook didn't accept and quickly corrected the problem. Here is the message though it was an accident, that's when a message pop up saying this, "You recently posted something that violates Facebook policies, so you're temporarily blocked from using this feature. For more information, visit the Help Center." Apparently every move I make, Facebook is going to find a reason to put me in Facebook jail or block me from posting even though the personal attacks on me started first and I made an innocent mistake.

I was on Facebook since 2007. I got it after I graduated high school. And all of a sudden I got banned from Facebook. I was just doing my usual daily things on Facebook like reading the news, commenting and sharing friends posts, then for some reason blocked. I contacted the appeal department and nothing. I'm still waiting for the appeal to process. What a waste of time. They claimed that I was a fake person and not real. When I had it since 2007. Same account. For years. ** FACEBOOK and Mark Zuckrerwise.

Over the course of several years, my partner, myself, my mother and a number of friends have been subjected to harassment from anonymous parties on Facebook. At one point, someone started a fake profile using my name and photo and I had to report it eight times and complain to the Better Business Bureau to have it removed. Recently, a fake page of my partner has started. It has his name, photo, business details, it's contacting friends and acquaintances and posting pictures of his family members. It has been reported numerous times by my partner and others and Facebook will not remove it. Their anti-harassment ideas are an unfunny joke. Basically, if someone wants to impersonate you on Facebook there is nothing you can do about it.

While recovering from Thyroid Cancer surgery Facebook disabled my account 35 times, no reason was ever given, you just get a red box that says "Account Disabled." They then require you to upload your ID to get back into your account. After uploading your ID you'll get back in for a few days, but eventually the same thing will happen. I had to upload my ID over 20 times in 2017 alone, all while battling cancer. I guess surviving cancer is a violation of Facebook's community standards, I mean what else could it possibly be, I was too sick to really get out of bed most of the time.

I have only had a Facebook account for 2 1/2 months and got suspended for impersonating someone and again for suspicious activity and did nothing wrong. No explanation. No chance to defend myself. Just kicked off for no reason. So if someone does not like me all they have to do is falsely accuse me and I get banned unfairly.

I woke up one morning and found out that my Facebook was disabled. I was very frustrated and a bit pissed off because I was using Facebook for my business page and also running Facebook ads. Anyway, I found out a couple of weeks later that they're still running the ad and still charging me while my account is disabled. I cannot email them or call them because there's no customer service. I called my bank and they gave me two number. When I called, the numbers don't work. At the end, I had to close my credit card and re-apply for a new one. Facebook is a living hell. I personally don't think they will survive for another 5 years. I am sure there are other social media that are a lot better than Facebook.

I was on Facebook for 5 years, without any problem. A stalker harassed me here and there, but I tried to ignore him, since Facebook don't do anything about them anyways. He reported me in April, my account got turned off next day. I sent a message to FB, telling them I was harassed, so that's why I use a nickname. My account got unblocked next day, with a promise, that they never going to check my name again.

My Facebook account is blocked. I have gone through all the steps necessary to log into my account under **, including sending a photo of myself holding the code they gave me. They will not assist me in getting my account back. This account is also attached to my Instagram account which I also cannot log into. This Instagram account contains my personal artwork, as well as friends and family photos.

I’m starting to lose all interest in Facebook, if I could give Facebook 0 stars I would. Let me explain why. Over the past year they have changed up Facebook where you can't post anything you want. I have been Facebook jailed like 3 times now, over something stupid, and it's ridiculous. Then my Girlfriend gets Facebook jailed over some picture of her dog along with her best neighbor friend. I mean come on can't they remove something more important than this? Like they could at least remove child **, or animal abuse not something over stupid like a dog picture lordy.

On Dec 19,2017, I noticed that I did not have access to my business page Gold Fingers Hair Braiding anymore. Later, the page disappeared from the web. I have sent 4 message to Facebook but no response. Worse, they do not have a customer service number where you can talk to someone and seek for help. I have spent almost $3,000.00 in Facebook ads in a year and rely on that to gain customers. Please help. Thanks.

On Nov 30 I go on FB at 4:30 in the morning. When later that day I go on and said password doesn't work. Like ok so I go to try and recover it. And go to my email address. WELL can't get in there either. Like what going on. Can't get into my FB, Yahoo email or my recovery email Gmail. I have gone to every place in FB help section and getting nowhere. Then finally got help to get in my account by ID some people in photos. Got in. Change all my info like email address etc. Wasn't long and got kicked out again. And somehow hacker on my account again. Changed my info and of course, I am blocked out of my new email addresses also. Don't know how hacker doing this.

On 12.05.2017 Facebook starting marking all my group posts as spam. I've gone through their ineffective reporting an issue 25 times. Nothing has been fixed. I have 2 lost and found pet groups. I post lost pets from other groups. Now all my shared posts are blocked. Am I to think Facebook hates pets?

Corporate confidence tricksters who rely on a cheap but hopelessly inept auto-bot brick-wall to ignore user problems. 3 TIMES in 4 yrs FB has shut my genuine account for "verification" (after 3 fake-reports from a spiteful Ex < with so many accounts I can't keep up blocking them). 2nd time it took 5 days to verify & FB stated they'd never need to re-verify; I naively assumed my account was now safe - Yet 11 months later, after 3rd malicious fake-report, FB shut my account again, 9 years of photos & comments from friends inc. some since passed away - & 2 months later I'm STILL waiting for FB to verify the ID I've sent in many times, or even REPLY to me - FB encourage users to upload their lives & build a "community of friends" then steal it away on an illogical algorithmic whim & refuse to even reply to that user; hopeless Kafkaesque shoddiness of a company. FB need to re-invest some of their mega profit$ on human staff.

Facebook banned me for 3 days and didn't tell me why, they had sent me an email saying it was by accident. The day they unblocked my account they banned it AGAIN 2 hours later and this time permanently. Again, no explanation as to why. I only used Facebook to post car videos and old school freestyle rap videos about dealing with depression and life. Turns out, a guy who was stalking me on Facebook had gotten my cell # and we got into a heated argument and he sent a screenshot of our cell phone texts, NO MESSAGES were exchanged through Facebook since I blocked him there, and Facebook banned me.

Facebook deletes, disables accounts without letting the people who own the accounts defend themselves. Especially those with Conservative views... FB will take the word of total strangers butthurt over posts reporting your account as fake without checking first and disable you. Thus the need for back up accounts. I had back up accounts which I used when I was banned over being reported by butthurt Liberals. Everything disabled... I cannot even create a new account, THEY DISABLE IT within a matter of hours. Disgusting how FB treats those that do not share their LIBERAL MINDSET. FB is a joke. You want to talk fascist… Take a look at the Liberal mindset. Extreme censorship is what FB IS ABOUT. Freedom of speech my ass.

We are a small business and I've had the same problems as many others who have posted here. In one month, Facebook locked me out of my account for "suspicious activity" with no one to contact to find out what's happening. I followed their instructions and then just had to sit there indefinitely. They literally have NO customer support that can help. I managed to find an email address at some point, but it takes them days to respond sometimes. And they were never able to tell me what was happening with the lockout problem. And yet they continue to run the ads while we are locked out!! I couldn't believe it...to me that's illegal to charge customers for running ads when we cannot manage them.

Yeah, it's that bad. I never actively used Facebook, but a friend of mine convinced me to register, and try to develop my business there too (I own a YouTube channel for music videos, uploaded daily). So after I posted 10 videos on a Business page I created, I got locked out for "suspicious activity." Let me just clarify that for a second. I don't use a VPN. Confirmed my profile with a cell number. Using a freshly created Gmail account, confirmed. I also uploaded a real photo of me on my personal account.

I spent a year developing my FB account for my business - spend hundreds of hours making a great biz page and spending $$$ on FB ads to collect followers and likes. And, in one day it was all gone! FB locked me out, then sent me security codes to my cell to get back in that NEVER worked. There is no one at FB to talk to, no email address to get assistance and NO ONE at FB that cares about anyone unless you spend a MILLION dollars a year on advertising. So little businesses, don't waste your time or hopes or money on a company that TAKES advantage of NO Customer Service and NO one in the US government can or will do a darn thing about it.

Idiot liberals keep reporting my legitimate account as fake and I have to submit a picture ID and wait sometimes WEEKS to get verified. Sometimes the verification never comes even though I LITERALLY UPLOAD A PICTURE OF MY FACE WITH MY DRIVERS LICENSE. I can't even create a new account to stay in contact with my work contacts because Cuckerberg immediately ID blocks me. Facebook moderators and Mark Cuckerberg are all a bunch of intellectually lazy and ** people. Like honestly, complete ** running Facebook. They have also cost me money by keeping me blocked from communicating with potential work contacts. ** those ** running Facebook. Complete morons.

I tried to contact Facebook. They blocked me almost everywhere. Who doesn't have money to pay for your paid campaigning? It doesn't mean you should have written to unpublish the pages without any written email notification. I would have given 0 stars.

For over a month I have tried to receive help from Facebook to log in to my account. I followed all of the required steps, with no response. I have now sent 15 emails to the Facebook Team requesting deactivation of my account with no response.

Facebook has been locking my account In order for me to show my ID. How many more times do I have to show them my ID? I have showed them about everything of me including pictures. What is wrong with them. I have showed them my ID about almost 20 times already. Today is November 16, 2017 and I am here waiting to regain my account back... My friends are waiting for me to get back up and running... This is not about buying. Is about being logged out for no reason. And I have gave them everything they need to authenticate my account... I don't want a lawyer. I want my account back... For future experiences with Facebook with others this what Facebook does after you give your ID and then they give your account back whenever they want. This is very unfair.

I used Facebook to follow several professional websites related to my work and current economy. These are very informative. But after about a week Facebook demanded I provide my original photo and suspended my account citing security reasons.

Every time I'm try to log in on my Facebook it asks for my code or for two-factor authentication. I don't have it and they don’t sending it to my phone. I made too many request and nothing help me to open my Facebook account. Trying to log on on Messenger but now I'm lock out because of many accounts created with the same numbers but I don't intended to created many accounts. Facebook automatic send me accounts that don't match my primary account, yes my name but no even my picture, but I still cannot log in on Facebook or Messenger. It is crazy and I'm thinking about leaving Facebook.

I am a business owner and I am trying to buy ads on Facebook so that I can jumpstart my online store. I placed an ad for selling shirts but I got rejected so I said 'Why am I unable to put ads?' They told me that I have sell weapons so I remembered that I still have a pocket knife selling in my store. I took off the pocket knife so I tried again. Again, they rejected me even though I took the item in question off. I keep telling them that I am not violating that rule but they keep referring back to the same first rejection and that they have a zero tolerance policy. So up to this point I have tried 3 times to make my ad go through but there is no traction in my case. Support doesn't help me, they don't acknowledge the fact that I already fixed the problem, they don't advise on what to do, THEY DON'T HELP THEIR PAYING CUSTOMERS. All I am trying to do is sell a cat-lovers t shirt and a movie painting t shirt, I already fixed the problem.

I posted something to a family member's page telling her to stay out my business and telling her stuff that she did that I didn't like. So today I log into my page and see the post I posted to her page along with a message from Facebook talking about it was removed for "BULLYING". I don't bully anyone, if she can't stand words thrown at her she shouldn't talk go around talking about people. I deactivated my account with a message that I didn't appreciate them calling me a bully and that I plan to file a lawsuit against Facebook for slander.

I was suddenly blocked by Facebook from any sharing or posting activity. I was just informed that I was blocked for a week, no prior warnings, no explanation. I have logged 5 different requests, to find out why I was block, to have some sort of an explanation, no response from Facebook at all.

A guy has been harassing me and others with fake edited, offensive posts, even calling me ** which is a slang for woman's genitals. He then reports anybody who responds. FB then disables others' accounts instead of his, without checking his own offensive posts. He takes selective screenshots of those who respond in self-defense and then it is too late for others to retrieve and take screenshots of his own offensive posts. How can FB allow that to happen?

Just so people know, I did find an info e-mail for Facebook. I used it and Microsoft reported they couldn't deliver it for "security" reasons. To other homebound seniors, Facebook does not care in the least about your wellbeing. I have spent hours trying to unblock my Facebook account with only mechanized replies and no unblocking. The people who work for this company simply DO NOT care...except for their advertising dollars. Do not place your trust or well-being in Facebook.

Facebook is no more than BIG BROTHER that gets by with murder and the BBB and other regulatory agencies allow it. They will not communicate with me in a timely manner, block me for no or vague reasons and have now billed me early for an ad leaving me no money for food. There is no way to communicate with them by phone and you have to wait weeks concerning any issues for an answer and then never get one or they string you along.

I made a comment on the CBS news site wherein I postulated, more in jest than anything, that maybe Harvey Weinstein was some kind of ritual sacrifice by the invisible power structure that controls Hollywood. Few minutes later, I was cut off mid-post with a window saying suspicious activity had been detected and I would now be logged off for my own "safety". So annoyed, I set up a new account with a different email, phone, etc, but the same profile pic. It lasted about an hour. Then the same thing happened. I've tried repeatedly to get back on (I'm out of phone numbers to use) and get the "Your photo is under review. You will be logged out... for your safety". I'm disabled and FB has been a way for me to connect with the world and feel like a part of it. Our country is entering a sad and scary phase of verbal oppression and [self] censorship totally contrary to the principles upon which America was created. Twitter just doesn't cut it for me.

Facebook need to held accountable for what they are doing to people who use Facebook as a social media. Anyone can just send an email to FB stating Joe Blogs is not his real name and your account is blocked. The COMPLAINANT should be made PROVE their case. As shown on this website, too many people are made send ID to Facebook who can do whatever they like with it, start an account in your name, get a loan in your name etc and no one seems to care. People start putting in complaints to the US Government, complaints to the Discrimination Board and wherever else you can. Make Facebook be held accountable. Request compensation when you have proven you are who you say you are. Maybe when Facebook and its directors have to pay out money for calling people liars, they may make the complainant prove their case and not the person they HARASS.

Facebook recently took the extraordinarily ignorant measure to block me from posting my own gaming videos, citing that I had posted material belonging to someone else. There is absolutely no evidence they would provide me with that I committed such an offense after numerous requests, and they would not respond to demands to reinstate my uploading privileges. I filed a BBB complaint against them after filing 3 different requests for action. These videos were not political in nature, nor were they religious or activist related, they were gaming videos, nothing more. There was absolutely no reason why they could not have at least responded to my requests other than they do not find the matters of a single member important when they have billions more to hawk their advertising towards. I for one cannot wait for the next big thing in Social Media to come along so that Facebook can join the ranks of MySpace, MocoSpace and AOL.

Despite my first and last name being my GIVEN, LEGAL name, I'm in my account one minute and went to check my notifications and was out. My middle handle is not a name. The. Middle. Not the first or last... the middle. This is under the guise of enabling safety and ensuring my friends can reach me. I've had the same amount of friends for the last 3 years... AND MY ACCOUNT IS PRIVATE. People can't find me any damn way. Facebook wants me to scan my i.d. I was looking for a reason to take a break. Completely asinine.

Lord where do I start. Facebook told me I need to secure my page. I click I change my password which I been trying to get back on Facebook for almost week. Tomorrow October 3rd, and it either goes back to the beginning saying change password again or I get a page is broken. I been writing to them to no avail. I mean not no one has replied. I play a few games on there and my friends, family, bosses, and co-workers are on there. Now nothing and no one is telling me nothing... I even sent a picture of my driver's license to them. If anyone else has had this problem how did you solve it.

They keep deleting my Facebook account and ask me for my picture, name, date of birth and identity. I submitted but they did not accept. They are not letting me to access my Facebook account and associated pages. This is the third time they have done this. I have never posted my pictures on Facebook since it's my crafts page. On the other hand, me and my friends kept reporting about a fake account which we know for sure is created by a blackmailer, mimicking my friend who never had a Facebook account. But Facebook did not block that page, saying that account does not violates Facebook rules. Wow! Seriously, if Facebook can ask me for my identity why not that fake account holder? I must say Facebook is supporting blackmailers and encourages illegal activities. I hate Facebook.

Facebook banned from posting or commenting for 30 days for stating my anti-vaccine opinions. I also commented that according to the evidence I have researched, it appears that vaccines are targeting people of ** more than anyone else and that Big Pharma is just an extension of the ** and their Eugenics programs. Then the trolls started attacking me and calling me a racist, which I am definitely not.

I had the same Facebook account for about 4 years, until around a month ago when it was disabled permanently for unknown reasons. I used my real name and didn’t post anything inappropriate, and even still my account was deleted. I went to go make a new account, and about an hour afterwards it too was permanently deleted. Again, using my real name and not doing anything inappropriate. The way it happened was I would see a tab come up that would say I needed to secure my account due to suspicious activity, and to click below to proceed. I clicked below and it asked me to upload a picture of myself, and so I did. I was then told on the next page that I could not log in right now because they are reviewing my photo and will get back to me. “We will get back to you” was the first sign that they weren’t going to. Sure enough, they never did.

So I have a business that I post to Facebook Groups that are EXACTLY for that, posting your business in. My posts are very benign and not offensive at all. Constantly getting blocked from posting in them. There needs to be an alternative to FB. It has become just like Craigslist. If someone reports you and you are blocked you have no recourse. The appeal process is nothing but a joke. You will NOT get an answer back to your appeal because it never goes to an actual person for review!! No phone numbers to call just like Craigslist. A very, very poorly run site.

Well I used to be with Facebook and I can't stand Facebook now. I can't even keep any pages without Facebook keep deleting my pages. I had Depression page and Facebook removed the pages. I have put A new Page and Facebook delete my new page so l was asked from Facebook A picture of my face and I gave one to Facebook. I waited 72 Hours but Facebook turn right around and deleted my Facebook page without any dang notice whatsoever. It really pissed me off that Facebook didn't even bother to let me know why Facebook did that to me.

I work for the Police Department and had Facebook for 4 years. Never had a problem till recently. My account was disabled supposedly for spamming and using bad content. I'm a mom of four. I don't use foul language. Most of my pics are of my children and some inspirational quote that I use. Recently I started my own side business and use Facebook for promoting my products. I do not sell things to anyone people. If they like what I post they hit me up.

Facebook has been blocking my original page for quite some time now and the company has intentionally refused to take action to resolve this matter. I've told Facebook numerous times that the solution to resolve this matter can't be fixed using my cell phone number because I don't have the phone. They refuse to send another solution and continue to play games. They are blocking my freedom of speech.

I needed to disable my very old FB account due to a violent experience that caused me concern for continuing use of my old account. When I disabled my account, they wanted a comment as to why and I said I would be opening a new one. Clearly, there is no one there to read these, so why ask us to say things that mean nothing to them? Anyway, I set up my new account, and almost immediately it was shut down for security reasons. I submitted a verification photo and nothing changed. I appealed the decision and uploaded a copy of my I'd proving I am me. The account was reopened but literally five minutes after I signed back in and started looking for my family and friends, it got shut down again. Same thing. Photo verification and then ID. It's been down for 1.5 weeks, no email or anything explaining why they did this.

It has become apparent that FB is now censoring free speech. I have been blocked repeatedly and NEVER violated their "so called standards." Each time I am blocked it is after I have posted something PRO Trump. They have become blatant and it now appears they are running the country. When will you de-monopolize this company???

I sent five scanned jpeg IDs for the verification process and each time I received an email back "thanking" me for sending these. However, it was the same worded emails that I got before about what IDs I should submit to resolve the case. So, each time I responded that just looped me and did not accept the IDs that I sent and so they were either moving the goal post or negating that I had passed the goal post. Whatever they were doing...which I saw as screwing with me...they still left my account disabled and I still could not log in and use it. Now they have closed my case #** and left my account disabled and refuse to respond to my emails. They are like that Utah policeman Tom ** who handcuffed the nurse Alex **... I have done nothing wrong and they have handcuffed me.

Every single situation where I try to contact customer service, I never receive a smart response back. Seems like literally everything is automated, including any decision-making/judgment, but they still attach a person's name at the end of every response to seem personable. Special circumstances are ignored because they do not read any of the text that I write, whether through Facebook or through email.

To Whom it may Concern: The reason that I used the name ** on the Facebook account creation was due to the fact that my ex-fiance is very violent and I also have a permanent protection order on him. He abused my son in every possible way that you can to a 3 year old and has threatened to slit my throat and have my son watch me bleed to death.

I honestly think the reason Facebook deleted my account was because my views were not the same as main stream media. I had never posted anything inappropriate or harassing, I was passionate about engaging my friends in discussions about what is really going on in the world and how we need to talk about these things if we ever want our world to change for the better. Too many people are being bullied on Facebook by this ban policy. I can get a member kicked off by reporting some lame post, or I can block that person so I don't have to see their lame posts, but I should never be allowed to pass judgment on another, just because I am mad at them, or I was raised different. Since Facebook actually encourages this activity, it is also aiding in the very thing our constitution protects us from (in many cases) - denial of due process, which should warn first, and allow us to explain. My guess is that the company is only staffed with golfers and stock holders, and the occasional glitch repair personnel. If I can't post, or have to be careful what I say, I might as well just not be a part of the drama, as well. Ten years of my time wasted on the site, good riddance **!

I created a New Facebook Account which required uploading a recent photograph of myself and a form of ID and my cell phone number. I attempted to edit settings for privacy and suddenly, FB logged me out. Message said they would contact me after documents were approved. This was 4 days ago. My account is now disabled. You can't delete an account unless you log in. I'm stuck. I am concerned my private info is floating out there for all to see. Facebook apparently has NO Customer Service. As huge as that organization is, they assume no accountability for their errors. I replied to several times to an email to their Security Team. Crickets... Someone should review their business practices. Has anyone noticed their mailing address: 1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, 94025?

If FB only allows one account per email, why did they allow me to setup a second account with the same email address and use it for weeks? I assume they deleted it because this morning my second account is GONE. I used the second account for gaming and progressed far in a fun game and lost my time and $ spent on the game. I didn't know about the one account policy, FB should have not allowed the creation of the second acct using the same email address if it was against their policy. Not many people read the entire book of the terms agreement.

I posted a comment about Muslims building a bomb, and it went off, and the government is hiding the truth, so how does a statement violate their community standards? I got 30 days FB jail for posting my opinion, whether truth or not, no one has refuted it, other than Facebook not liking it!

I am an advertiser with a large budget. We spend tens of thousands of dollars with Facebook yet we are completely unable to find an answer to our issue. Is it fair that a company can take all this money and never be responsible for customer support? Facebook wants us to "ask the community", which are not Facebook employees. Ever go to a doctor and get told that the doctor is too busy and to ask people in the lobby instead? Facebook should not be allowed to take money and not offer support.

Been a Facebook account holder for over 10 years now, until I was locked out of my account and couldn't even use my cell to verify because every time I did this, I got a prompt telling me my session has expired and to log off and back on. When I did this, it takes me through the same thing. I will say this much. My father passed two years ago and I have all the memories of he and I on there and cannot access it. If something happens to these pictures, I will seek action and sue. I am a government employee, veteran of the United States Military and I am treated like this. I am so disappointed.

One fine day I checked my Facebook page and was scrolling through messages and hit a dead end. So almost a week ago, Facebook banned me from posting, commenting or liking post made by contacts or pages I follow. Their reason for the ban "Calling someone a MORON", yes read right folks, a ban for calling someone a MORON. But get this, on two news pages that I follow, some people make death threats, call others names namely (Pink Pigs), talk about land that was stolen (Without any proof) in the Apartheid era. And guess what??? Facebook does nothing about that. So I personally think the 30 day ban was completely uncalled for.

I was recently blocked for 30 days for calling someone a racist. I was in a political group and was being called numerous names from "**" to **. My response was calling them a "Ignorant racist." 24 hours later my page was blocked for 30 days. But before my block I reported most of the comments calling me disgusting names. I was told "Thank You for reporting but those disgusting comments DID NOT violate FB terms" but mine DID. What? So being called a ** Loving ** is cool with FB but the words ignorant racist is outta line. I've reported animal abuse, child abuse, graphic clips from ** movies, animals being slaughtered and was told REPEATEDLY none of those violated any rules. But my 2 words gets me blocked for 30 days?? So who's the moderators allowing racism, harassment and graphic violence and sex but the words "ignorant racist" is too much??

I have been a member of Facebook for years. I lost my account because someone reported me for something I didn't do. I opened up another Facebook account with a different email address and it was up and running great for 2 months. Then one day I posted a picture of me and my family tagging all of them and then about 30 mins later I was asked to send a picture that there was suspicious activity on my account. I did so and it was even my driver’s license. Now they closed that account and I have tried to contact Facebook directly and there is no number or anything to contact. I can't use that account and can't open a new one. Every time I do they close me done saying same thing. This isn't fair. I am unable to stay connected with my family and all. They should have at least an email address to contact for any questions or issues or a phone number for customer service.

FB disabled my account, demanding a government ID. I will trust FB with that information when the sun rises in the west. I have stopped using FB, but there is no way to cancel my account. I keep getting FB notifications via email. I keep clicking the option to stop these emails but they just keep sending the emails. I should have canceled my account when they still let me cancel.

I have had my account since 2007 that I can remember and it was disabled for no reason. Almost 4 weeks ago I was required to verify my account and send a photo of myself. When I did, the account was re-established the following day. The very same day being Friday, after not having been active for weeks, I posted a Bitmoji of myself saying TGIF and around noon my account was disabled. I've submitted numerous photos with my DL and work ID, verifying my information with my date of birth and email and I have yet to hear from anyone. What's worse is that I have lost pictures, memories and conversations with me of my father who passed away a year ago. I have never posted any nudity or profanity on my page because I know the policy and wouldn't want or need to anyway. Yet, I've seen profiles breaking the terms and guidelines and their page is still up? How does that make any sense?

I'm talking about a different Facebook person's account not this one. They said there was suspicious activity! They hadn't been on the site in weeks! They wanted another photo uploaded! They had already sent them all kinds of ID a few months ago. What is their problem? They do seem to target older people who like a little privacy and don't share that much except a few pictures. It's not enough for them. I don't trust Facebook at all.

I filled out their form twice and received two automated text messages with links that would not work. It's frustrating to be unable to reach a human being for an explanation. I've been using FB for years. Many "friends" cite reason is because they admire the gentlemanly way I treat those whose opinions differ from my own. Yet now I am blocked pending a "security check" which requires me to upload a mobile phone number to my timeline. I do not share my mobile phone number with anybody, and in fact at this time I do not have a mobile phone. FB offers no explanation, no alternative, and no contact to resolve the issue.

One day about 3 weeks ago I became unable to post to my 2nd page. Every Facebook forum related to this topic was "closed" so after trying multiple browsers and everything I could think of to fix the problem I wrote to FB support asking for help and got the response "Thanks for reporting." That's it... No help, no suggestions, nothing. I am beginning to think they have blocked my account for some reason and are unwilling to offer assistance because they are the problem. Account still doesn't work... Going on a month now. I am going to start complaining every day until I get an answer.

Facebook's tagline is "free and always will be", but they really must need a buck with the way they harass regular users with ads constantly! I was sick and tired of repeatedly seeing "ways you can promote your page for x$" ads so I shut down my page. Two years later, I notice Facebook posting ads on my timeline for products I have viewed on other sites (and in one case, even purchased), as "something you might be interested in". I saw someone else complain to the BBB that this behaviour is creepy - I find it just sleazy. What profit can Facebook make from exposing their shoddy surveillance techniques and "advertising" something I have already bought?

Recently it shows my account is not safe (I guess it's because I am in China and have to use VPN to log in my FB account). Then they asked me to upload my own photo. And they say will come to contact me shortly. After a week, they never contact me. I want to register a new account to use. But still the same problem. I have upload my ID photo and everything they need. I have use Chinese name in FB. They never contact me.

FB asked for ID, I provided it. Account up again in an hour. Months later put on 7 day ban for who knows what, went back in after 7 days and they wanted ID AGAIN! WHY? You already got it! Sent SAME ID, 2 weeks later still blocked. Like many, I decided to open a backup account while I wait. Within 45 minutes of creating it, they shut it down for suspicious activity. WHAT?!? I made over a dozen new email accounts to make as many FB accts. ALL shut down in minutes wanting ID. I guess Facebook doesn't want customers. God, I even miss AOL FFS.

Facebook Messenger Send Money - You try to send money and they ask to input debit card, you do so and it immediately tells you you're blocked. Then THREE DAYS LATER they send you a message requesting you to send a picture of the front and back of your debit card. That's a huge privacy violation and a consumer risk... Not to mention they close the ticket when they answer you, without awaiting the consumer's response. This is also not including the fact they tried to steal half the funds from the transfer and refused to comment on that fact. I tried to transfer $4000 and they tried to take $2000 of it and only send half. This is an illegal operation as a means to steal identities and card numbers for fraud use.

Two days ago my account was shut down. The neanderthal ninnies never stopped to realize if I had no access to my account, I could not read the message they sent to me accusing me of fraud in games (I've not won one yet, except in Farkle, a dice game). Then they asked me to reset my password which I did ten times and they stated all of them were wrong. I still cannot log on to my account. They also told me my bank card was blocked and I needed to call them. Well, I did, and guess what, THEY BLOCKED ME. At this point I am thinking of suing them for harassment charges. Right now I want the $200 it cost me to retain an online technician to reset my password, which Facebook said is wrong. They are really harassing me.

Twice this week I have been requested to provide authentication via photo for my Facebook business page. I have spent $450 in the last two weeks on Facebook advertising. This has clearly impacted the ROI. I have requested a refund due to their responses as follows; "It looks like your account was suspended by mistake. I'm so sorry for the inconvenience. You should now be able to log in. If you have any issues getting back into your account, please let me know".

I opened and paid for an ad called "stop immigration marriage fraud"... I was a victim of this and the verified story was written in national newspapers and all over internet... The fraudster was a Trinidad liar named Michelle **... I published the true story and the ads were approved by Facebook and paid for... They ran for about a week with the idea of preventing others from suffering the same fate... Being the unwitting victim of someone faking love and marriage just to get American green card... This happens to a lot of people... Especially women victims... The reaction worldwide from the ads was phenomenal and positive to what I was trying to illustrate with pictures that the fraudster Michelle ** herself had made public...

I owned and operated a page on Facebook for eight years until last week out of the blue they flagged a video of mine citing non-existent nudity. The video was about consumers complaining about fraudulent meat and none of them were nude. Facebook did not review the video nor did the title allow them thought, they just went ahead and blocked my account for three days. There was no way to rebut their claim even though it was a blatant lie. After three days I was able to use my account. They logged me out for suspicious activity and proceeded to disable my account accusing me of posting nudity and solicitation.

Facebook double standards - Yesterday, I reported someone for repeatedly calling me a troll. Facebook told me this does violate their policy. Today, I called someone a troll once and Facebook shut down my account for 7 days. This is a discriminatory action. Not only am I blocked from Facebook, but I cannot access my game apps. I am a disabled veteran and play bingo. Now, because Facebook chose to punish me for using a label that is used all the time on their site, I cannot use any of my apps.

I recently changed the name of this Facebook account (over 60days) in error to my personal name. It should read Menshed Wagga Wagga. I waited the 60 days and now it still won't let change the name. Error message "Too many changes". If it's going to stay that way then either let me change it or delete the account & we can go without. This rule of non-change should not be allowed. It makes no provision for data errors. I desperately need this changed.

I have my picture on my Facebook page and they demanded I "upload a photo" on my Facebook page. There is a picture already there - plus, demanding a photo is illegal - that will not protect me in any way. I am very angry with Facebook for this illegal invasion of my privacy.

Got banned for posting a pic of a car part. Tried to notify Facebook customer service but just get some broken English auto reply probably created for some Indian child get 5 cents an hour. What a joke. Hope Trump shuts you down.

They do not have live persons that monitor the systems of their site, everything is fully automated. If you need to speak with anyone directly, you will never make it to a live person. If another user complains on anything about your wall, facebook will disable your account without even asking you for your version of what is being complained on and/or you will never be able to defend yourself. They have a lot of big balls to control a user's page. Several times they disabled me claiming that I was blocked for going too fast/posting too fast.

Facebook has claimed I'm a security risk! I believe it's because I disagree with their liberal views. I don't swear online or name call. However, I have been called nasty names and had nasty memes attached to my posts. Facebook doesn't follow their own "rules". Facebook should be suspended for 30 days.

I am locked out. I have uploaded requested ID's but the service is not restored. I file a complaint with the Attorney General and BBB. I will be seeking legal action and open to all members locked out and/or deprived of their personal contents like to join. Moreover, seeking ID's and other confidential information is illegal for Facebook. It is a free service, and not one that requires credit checks or ID checks. Any reason of denial of service is grounds for discrimination.

I had a Facebook account for 9 years under the name "Nogood Nick" which I use for both personal and promotion (as a musician). Facebook suspended my account last week for suspecting this was not my legal name and asked me to upload a legal ID. I sent them an ID that I use with this name but my account is still closed with a message that they are "reviewing the documents". A quick Google search finds this is a common problem where Facebook users receive this message while Facebook continues to "review the documents" for weeks or months or indefinitely.

The entire Facebook website is very unprofessionally managed. Let me give an example. When I first opened a Facebook account I didn't have any friends there and I was concerned about privacy so I did not share much data about myself other than what was needful. Consequently, at the same time, my tenant moved out to be closer to his job and I want to rent his space to someone else so I went to a site called Roomster and placed an ad there for a new tenant. Roomster only allows its site to be logged in to with a Facebook account. When I logged in, because of my privacy settings I was INSTANTLY banned from the Roomster site with a huge message on the screen saying my Facebook account does not live up to the Roomster standard. Within 24 hours my Facebook account was disabled by Facebook and I had to identify myself to them and they re-enabled my account.

I was scrolling through Facebook News Feed as I usually would do any day. I came across 2 videos sent from Nigeria of women that were being brutally beaten. Within the video you could see them being beating to death with hammers kicked and punched unconscious. The second video showed 2 women begging for their lives then shot dead. The videos were extremely upsetting. I sent it to Facebook for review and the outcome was that it did not violate their terms and conditions.

Facebook account blocked due doc verification since last 2 months. We are a social organisation working for the betterment of poor and needy kids in India and our volunteers and beneficiaries are being coordinated through this platform. We already have submitted all the related documents but still since last 2 months there is not a single person in the Facebook who can review and clear the issue. Facebook is a social platform and is not supporting social organisation. Even more we are not getting any email ID or address nor any phone no to coordinate for this issue. So can any one will support our social organisation regarding this issue. We are unable to operate our Facebook Page because the page is created and operated by this Facebook account only.

Facebook allows Murders to be committed on their Facebook. They allow groups that abuse animals, but only allow limited shares of people that are trying to help animals that more than likely will lose their life if the shares are not done. I LOVE the thought of helping animals, but obviously that can only be done if you limit your Shares on Facebook.

I'm currently on a 24 hour ban from Facebook, and my video was removed. My video was of my 6 year old son shirtless talking about all of the things he did on vacation. It was reported maliciously for "nudity" by someone angry that I left a negative review. The title of the video has my son's name in it... JACK. I have no idea how this "slipped past" Facebook, but it's been all day, and I've been frantically trying to figure out how to have my account reinstated... And my video put back up. Men are allowed to be shirtless, I have no idea why Facebook takes its nipple issue to the extreme, and I'm incredibly upset that this has caused me to lose access to my BUSINESS PAGE.

Facebook no don't care about old users because they and no need them, know they are popular. Every day in 8 years I spends more than 2 hours on Facebook opening accounts, solve people problems, edit places, many things on Facebook. I do but now I'm on Stucked in security check 7 days asking for help, everyday no help just got disabled accounts. It's facebook just kicking out people like me.

I have been blocked twice though I have not broken any of Facebook's rules. After looking over the Facebook rules I have not broken any rules and I'm sure not taking an exception of an individual but a business venture called Candy Waters Autism Artist on Facebook, according to this scammer's Trademark information. But yet Facebook is allowing to let this scammer continue to thrive selling fraudulent art. I had 2 of my posts that were taken down though I never cursed or lied and was very respectful. I have proof of everything I posted including copies of both posts that were removed, which absolutely are true. This scammer has broken these rules, but Facebook would rather punish me instead of shutting down this art scam.

I've been on Facebook 8 years, previously have had minor issues related to compromised account, whereas account had been compromised or penetrated by another user. What happens in such cases account is locked until account holder re-secures their account. So no problem there. It's only been recent whereas things went downhill very fast. My account was banned consecutively. First ban was lifted and within matter of just a few hours was re-banned for "alleged" same offense. As it is post of concern was a post I wasn't the one who posted as apparently account was compromised by another user in which that event wasn't caught until someone flagged post as inappropriate subsequently resulting in my account being banned. First ban was for 3 days, second offense was now 7 days. And required means of identification needed, i.e., driver's license to verify I am who I am I guess?

I posted a video on my page a few weeks ago. I got a 30 days suspension as Facebook said I violated the community standard for displaying nudity... which is absolutely wrong. There was no nudity in my post. The trouble is one week later I spotted at least 2 people with the same video in their wall so I decided to check with Facebook by reporting those post. The following days I had their usual message... "Thank you... making Facebook safe. After checking the post we post we noticed this doesn't violate our community standard." The trouble is this is the second time it happens to me after going through another 30 days suspension for the same fake reason. When I try to make an appeal I keep getting the same automated message... About problems with their software and never get my suspension lifted before the 30 days.

A year ago I started sending facebook messages (on their pages that "say" they are there to do customer service) about a problem with my account - not receiving most of the email notifications I had been receiving for years. I had gone to their help pages and checked everything they said to check - all was set correctly and had not changed since setting up the account. I wrote to them weekly, at first, since nothing was fixed and no response. After a few messages, I finally started sending daily updates of not having my account fixed.

My account seems to have been hacked. I had this account for over 10 years, have less than 125 friends that are real, never had any inappropriate posts and am basically very private. It shut down and disappeared on 3-28-17. Every time I try to log in, it says "thank you for the pic we'll respond within 72 hours", It's been 8 days. No email, no text, no word. Please help. There is no way for her to report the problem, I can't log in! My phone and email contact is linked to my account and have not changed in over 20 years. Not only is the history of my family on my timeline, pics of graduations for Grandkids, Granma before she got sick, everything is there. My Aunt died last week and the family was asking for pics for her service. I'm still not allowed to get back into my account!

My accounts were never closed. After receiving Threats from Individuals on Facebook, I deactivated my account. But they failed to deactivate multiple groups and timelines from three years ago. I created a new account that is when I found more people using my posts to describe me as a troll! It seems that Facebook administrators took it upon themselves to block me from logging in. It was at that point that I realized they would not allow me to log in to complete the deletion of my artwork and memos, so they have obstructed my effort to deactivate my account and other pages and timeline accounts from the past!

What other company can use your personal possessions and then provide no way to make contact? Facebook has gone too far and treats people as assets. Business ethics don't conform to US standards. I've been trying to delete my account. I've already deleted ALL of my albums, yet just recently, Facebook served up a "memory" of my deceased brother, almost to the day of his suicide. That picture no longer exists in my albums (because there are no albums), so where is FB getting this picture, and what right does FB have to use it to market to me? There needs to be a class action suit to get the company to conform to US ethical business standards. There needs to be some accountability. I seriously feel like signing up with FB is like signing up with the devil.

Facebook is the most Un American communist site ever. I've had friends who were Blocked (Put in FB jail) for supposedly violating their so called community standards. Since when does the American flag Violate community standards? I've had posts removed, and Blocked for 30 days for trying to warn friends by posting about child rapists and molesters. They don't care about children's safety. The also block people based on their political beliefs. FB support terrorists, I've been blocked for posting about terrorist activities in the USA. For some reason this is a violation of their so called community standards!

Facebook has no customer service phone number. It is hard to correct problems. It is an invasion of privacy to send a government form of ID to get back into an account I set up with them. Why are they not held accountable? We should be able to eliminate accounts, reset passwords and contact Facebook. It is very elusive and frustrating. I have used the same computer since 2009 and FB locks me out of my accounts because I am not logged into a recognized device. Please make FB more accountable for the consumer and our protection of privacy of our information! Maybe they need a lawsuit by consumers to wake them up to their management responsibilities and make them more accountable to consumers.

Facebook for business owners deserves zero stars. Facebook allows businesses to sign up as a business with no authorization needed like all other major online ad networks. Into 3 weeks of having a Facebook business only page, I have several ad campaigns running on Facebook. Since my login is frozen today (I can't cancel the ads) the login error says I need to send verification. Facebook continues to use and charge my credit cards while locking me out of both my business page and ad manager account. This seems to be unethical and illegal. There was no ID required prior to Facebook accessing my credit cards. Of course, even for business owners, Facebook has no direct support line. I've written several emails outlining the irony of their policy to the Facebook Ad, Sales, and Privacy departments and of course, no reply to my emails!

Facebook sent the California highway patrol to my house because of continued complaints I posted regarding the DMV and their treatment of disabled people and driver's licenses. Have diabetes, get low blood sugar in the privacy of your own home once, call the paramedics, and presto you don't have a license anymore.

Still can't log in: "Unfortunately, you won't be able to access your account while we're reviewing these additional documents. I tried failure on ID. Sent numerous emailing with photos and ID. Sent my Driver's license. Mailing address photography. Numerous documents of who I am. Still 0 response or nothing from Facebook. I feel like Lawsuit should happened. I don't care about Mark Zuckerberg at this time. Went on a friend account. Showed my ID. Face-wise This is **. 6 ** months and no ** word. I get email then I log in. "We are trying to check to see if you match your ID." GO ** YOURSELF FACEBOOK. STOP BEING A **. GET ME BACK IN POS FACEBOOK.

Facebook managed to "get in early" on global networking apps, & thus dominate the market. And if someone new to networking wants to talk to people they already know, then it makes perfect sense to join the same app that their friends are using. Unfortunately, this early domination of Facebook has meant a lack of competition, causing a lazy & careless attitude from the Facebook staff. One thing is for sure is that many people experience many problems with Facebook due to its poorly designed interface, with confusion about how to alter privacy settings, knowing exactly what they even mean, unknowns regarding whether others will be "tagged" in posts, etc. I think the worst thing is how all the unanswered & "Closed" questions in Facebook's "Help Centre" go to show that the "management" team simply can't be bothered help people with their issues. This leaves me to wonder exactly what the Facebook team spend all their time doing.

This has locked myself out of many accounts as I use Facebook with name and password; This has happened by others on Facebook, because of my comments against the Trump administration, if one calls it that; Yahoo has also lost my account? Never a use of foul language so they force myself out with Lost, or Impersonating another person, on the word of one client; I'm afraid this is what America is in for, the death of the 1st amendment; I would like to know if others have this similar problems.

Facebook has several things I object to: Requiring real name. Can fake it, how can they check as long as it's human sounding and you don't change it too much and cause a "red flag". They have default settings like making friends appear in public and you have to go in and reset things to private. They have no right to "display things in public" without people's permission. Any problems with another Facebook account being abusive, sending you spam, etc can't be rectified the right way which is to delete the offender's account. Instead you report things and usually nothing's done - offender's account stays. All you can is to block abuser's accounts and shut off chat to them since anyone "out there" can send you messages even though you've blocked them. But you still have their messages in the inbox and have to delete them later if they pile up.

I have had a 10 yr old Facebook account with the same name -- a hyphenated initials only of my last name at the time and my full first name. It was a name chosen after recommendation by an attorney to either never do social media, or must use pseudonym because of a very unstable ex who was a hobby hacker as well as threatened to harm me multiple times as well as engaging other unstable people to come after me, particularly of ex-military types. In addition, my current career differs from my political views, and any personal social accounts found would harm my career permanently.

Account disabled. So, I made a mistake and hit the button that I was impersonating myself thinking it was the easiest way to nuke my secondary account created by mistake. Bad move. I don't have the same friends on both. So upon learning this I asked FB to restore the one account back thinking that they weren't going to nuke the other account. Wrong answer. They did. I have been sending in appeals now for over 48 hours and they still haven't gotten back in touch with me so my ex husband has claimed ownership of the secondary account but I can't get them to give back the great account.

I tried to log into my FB account and got a message that it was suspended for impersonation someone else. They asked for and got my full name, Dob & passport photo. I have not gotten a response. I see many similar complaints and now worry that my info is out there for anyone to see. I cannot fathom that the owner of Facebook would allow this to happen to their many fans. Extremely disappointed that a multi-billion $ business does not have a support unit.

I have been using Facebook for many years now. I am a old lady and I have cancer. I went offline for a while to deal with my health issues. I had problems logging back into my Account but managed to do it in the end by going into my email and changing my password. I then got a message from Facebook saying my account was logged in from a different location Istanbul. I contacted Facebook then I noticed that there was untold credits made from my account for gameplay and it is not a game I have ever played.

I have been going back and forth with FB since some jack-wagon reported my account for the 3rd time... they have sent a total of 10 emails in back and forth "conversation". They are signed by different "Bots". Do yourself a favor... if you ever need to deal with their customer service people... realize that it IS NOT people but scripted auto-bot software that writes back. It picks up on keywords then sends a long email full of boring rhetoric. It's easily detected because the responses make you keep asking more probing detailed questions... only you receive the same scripted response. You can say, "Kiss my Ass you Moron" and the reply is the same. Cox did tell the World that they would make changes to their identity verification policies protecting certain groups or making certain exceptions for people using Alias' but he did NOT mean it.

Why doesn't Facebook have a customer service phone number? It's impossible to get a hold of Facebook. A multi Billion dollar company should make it easy for people to contact them for help when needed. My Mother is locked out of her account and they are asking for a photo id. Is this for real or some spam site trying to get her information?

Since when can a company ban you for nothing, shut down your account, connections, pictures, memories all for some abstract violation of their terms they wont even tell you about? Email them and no response, very dystopian and creepy. You feel like you have no human rights at all.

I have been on Facebook like many for years, but I have to say the way they are so bias and unfair to the rest of the world that does not agree with them and their views, is DISGUSTING. I had noticed before Trumps presidency, that I was always being looked out for posting bible verses, and posting anything that contradicted their (Facebook) views. I know this because all Christians were going thru the same exact issues, being blocked out and posts removed because of our Christians views. DISCRIMINATING against Christianity seems not to be one of their policies. FACEBOOK was always claiming that what we posted, was against their SO CALLED POLICIES. Since when bible verses are against any policy??

Today I was locked out of my account suddenly. Facebook demanded that I submit a photo of government-issued ID in order to be let back in. I did so, reluctantly. From what I'm reading, it sounds like a lot of people have been permanently locked out of their pages, even after complying with their demands. This is ridiculous. I have been on the site for years. Now, suddenly - even though I'm using my legal name and have been from Day One - I've been shut out because of this for, as near as I can tell, no reason whatsoever and it appears I have no recourse but to wait on THEM to decide if I'm actually me or not.

I have been blocked for days at a time with no clear reason. What was the particular a post caused the block. Just a vague "see community guidelines". There is no way to alter one's actions. There is clear reason why an account was blocked. Also Facebook leaves millions of comments and content on their site creating confusion as to what is acceptable. Since so many businesses, groups and events use Facebook as their sole media outlet the random blocking of users without a clear basis why or even equal treatment of all users is abusive. How do I file a complaint about this?

I've been using Facebook for 4 years and now they blocked my access, saying I have to verify my name. By the time we created an account, we used a employee's name but he is no longer with us. Now Facebook says that the only way to unlock my account is by sending the ID of this guy, which we have no way to reach. I tried sending safe info about my business (and also government related information), my own ID's, but they were all refused! This is definitely a big mistake! They should use other ways to verify if I am the damn owner of my own company. Facebook is living on borrowed time... it might join his old mate Orkut very soon. No IT company survives to such a bad verification system and customer support!!!

Why does Facebook suck so bad??? I was suddenly locked out of my Facebook account on Friday for no reason. After trying to verify pictures of my friends, which I did, those ** told me I would have to submit a copy of my government issued ID, which despite my issues with such things, I did. And lo and behold, I got no response and my account is still locked and that stinking ** Mark Zuckerberg has my personal information. This seems highly suspect and not very legal at all. I'd suggest ** knock it off or we should rise up and sue that stinking ** Mark Zuckerberg into the poor house!!!

I was notified today after 8 years of being on Facebook with no problems that I have to verify my name. I'm locked out! I go by my nick name that's how my friends know me. Not by the name on my drivers license. That's not the "name I go by every day" in their words! I did send safe info to them my business card also a membership card with my name but it wasn't good enough! I have been a victim of identity theft in the past and don't feel safe giving more personal info to Facebook. Now they want me to provide several different legal identification to PROVE who I am?! It's not right! Because I have a unusual name that doesn't meet their community standards I have to jump through hoops to prove who I am? All they have to do is look at my profile and see who I am with recent comments from friends and family also photos that I'm tagged in with friends!

My account was locked and Facebook said they needed age verification. I followed the directions to the letter. I used my Drivers license and CCP. Both show my name, address, DOB and a photo. A few hours later I received an email stating that the identification could not be used or could not be read. The photos are clear as day. They can be read even on my tiny phone screen. The state issued drivers license is listed on the website as an acceptable form of Identification. I took additional photos at higher resolution. I submitted the new photos to the Website in addition to attaching them to an email reply. Facebook never bothered to reply and my account is locked.

I have had 5 Facebook accounts disabled for stupid reason and asking me to send a copy of my driver's license so I did. It comes back with "oops error. Try again." I try this for days and they have yet to fix the problem. This account they disabled was active with Anonymous and they were attempting to put a cap and control the news coming out on CPS but it was a fail and Mark does not like not having complete control. I lost pictures of my deceased brother, 5k in friends and Administration in quite a lot of Anonymous Groups and my own in Northern Cali. Since then I opened another account only for Mark to shut it down within 15-20 minutes. What is he so scared about getting out? Or... Does he have control issues or just issues?

01/14/2017 I went to log in to my Facebook account that I set up last week and the computer wanted me to enter my phone number into the system again. I called the customer service department to find out why I was being asked to re-submit my information again every time I log-in to Facebook. The customer service supervisors and their employees said that the computer was protecting me against hackers. I told them that it is a Facebook account. It is not a bank account. If the hackers want to look at the account I do not have a problem with it. The information that I submitted to Facebook was not vital. I just needed to be able to use the account.

7 years ago, in December 2009, my son and I created a Facebook account for my grandson, to connect and talk to his father, after his parents divorced. Soon afterwards, father and son connected using Playstation, so father and grandmother shared the Facebook page to play games. Father deleted his own FB account, as he was verbally abused by family members, and FB did nothing about the lewd language! Facebook, without warning, suspended grandson's FB account on or about Jan 8 2017! This FB account was active over the course of 7 years! No **, no naked pictures! Only messages to family and friends and ''game playing,'' which was played every day over a year. EVERY DAY OVER A YEAR!

On 01/07/2017, Facebook locked my account. Prior notifications on 01/04/2017 stated my account would be removed within 7 days if I did not provide a government document proving who I was. I have used an alias for 6 years due to ex-wives hacking my Facebook account. All of my classmates knew who I was. I had a whole history on family member pages as well. Facebook has deleted my profile and any history of me on all of my families pages. This is unacceptable and a direct violation of my privacy or apparently the lack of privacy. I am currently researching any means to sue Facebook for discrimination based on factual evidence of many other pages who do not use real names. Any help would be greatly appreciated. We, the people, have rights and the first amendment is still one of them.

A month or so ago, I received an email from Facebook asking me to confirm my ID by sending them copies of personal documents such as Passport, Birth Certificate, Drivers Licence etc. I refused to send anything with such details until they told me why they had requested such drastic action. They refused to reply and they also refused to reply to any further correspondence. They just sent a robot generated standard reply to everything I sent; ''It doesn't look like we can help you with the problem you're having from here. We're sorry for the inconvenience. If you're still looking for help with this, the Help Center is a great place to find answers to frequently asked questions and up-to-date forms you can use to get in touch with us."

Spent almost two years trying to get rid of my business page. FB made me create a profile to manage it and for two years the two never merged. I sent 100s of emails, tried 50 times to reset passwords etc, queries on forums..complaints, even letters to FB. NOTHING. NO HELP. They are a billion dollar scam operation that has ZERO customer service. I even paid for ADS. I cannot delete an outdated business page that is hurting my business. I do not want a personal profile on FB. I loathe it. Any business owner that uses this platform is doing themselves a great disservice. I would like to know if any other business plans on suing them. Class Action or something.

Facebook has deleted 3 of my accounts and this 4th time is under review for no reason. They are trying to claim it's a fake account. I had sent them info of a photo drivers' licenses and yet nothing has been done. I still don't have another account and every time I have to make a new account have to search old friends. It's becoming a pain for them as much it is for me. Yet this time around I had not broken any facebook community server rules or laws. I'm just getting deleted as big major parties I do expose do not want me to expose them.

I created a new account because of harassment. I used my real first name & a hobby as my last name, posting no personal profile or cover page photos. I just wanted to use this account to stay in touch with a special event that was planned through Facebook. There was no alternative to get this information. First I was blocked from liking or posting on FB & then my account was blocked unless I submitted a photo ID. My identity & social security number was stolen in 2014 & I certainly would not give this information to Facebook, considering their lack of security & love of selling my personal information to marketers.

Dec 28 2016 I have provided proof and still have not gotten my account unlocked. I shred everything and do not use my real info on any public website but I provided what they asked for and have been left hanging. But you can create a artist, band or public figure page without their consent no problem. Facebook is nothing but a bunch of bully thugs making money off people like us and basically being told to get lost when help is needed. If I did not use it to connect with family and keep up with their lives I would give them the middle finger.

I have my Facebook account from the time it came into play... I never had my account disable until Trump won. Now someone post a picture of Trump's wife and I shared it. This was back in September of 2016... I get a message saying I have a 7 day ban so I wait 8 days. When I try to sign in they tell me my account has been disable for good... I have pictures and things from family members who are dead and only on my page. I just want my pictures. I emailed Facebook a few time. They refuse and told me they will not respond back to again. Facebook has done this too many time to my friends and family and if we have to follow the rules why can't they do the same.

I have been using my Facebook profile Dr. Arpita ** since last 10 years. A month back when I tried to log in it asked me to prove my identity saying I am impersonating someone else. I sent them my Gov't ids. It's been a month and no response from them in spite of writing so many mails. I have never violated any Facebook policies or impersonated anyone. If someone had flagged my account I have every right to know who had done that. It takes years to save memories and build contacts. We pay Facebook for marketing but they are not bothered about their customers. Hope someone can help me to retrieve my account. I have lost all contacts, important documents, and family memories.

Locked me out of my account in the middle of a post. Now requiring upload of government issued ID (social security card, utility bill, etc). All have private protect information. I went through a horrible time when Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield was hacked and my info made public. At least Anthem was required by law to notify me. Facebook is not required by law to notify. I don't trust my personal protected info with them. They have my phone number and IP address. If that isn't enough they can keep their damned account. Having learned the hard way with Anthem, it is not worth the risk for a social media account!

Facebook lets people post ** videos and photos on their site. When you complain half the time they say it does not violate their community standards. Men are having full on sex with women in some of these videos. And some are very graphic. Kids get on this site and I am sure they see more than what parents want them to see or they need to see. How can they legally get away with this?

Starting @ 12/20/16 could not get into my Facebook Account via my desktop. Received message indicating I'd tried to log in too many times and needed to wait 24 hours before trying again. Tried to solve issue via review of Facebook Help suggestions. None worked. Tried to contact FB customer support and call picked up by a scam service posing as FB assistance. Problem: THERE IS NO FACEBOOK CUSTOMER SUPPORT. Waiting more than 24 hours until early morning on 12/23/16, tried to log in and requested password change. When password changed and accepted, tried to log in and received same message as a couple days ago indicating I've tried to log in too many times and, consequently, need to wait 24 hours before trying again. I'm in a closed loop and can't get out.

I have been using FB for many years. I am a Metal DJ and have two pages. One for business and my personal page Debz **. On 14 Dec 2015 my personal page was taken down as FB wanted me to confirm my name. After waiting a week to be able to contact them I finally got my name back Debz **, a name I use daily and have a change of name deed for. Exactly one year later they block my page again. As always you are not given the opportunity to have a conversation with anyone - we are left like pawns awaiting some kind of response.

I purchased the 99.00 a year membership to chess.com via the facebook interface. I found it impossible to cancel afterwards, with only a digital contact method and no cancellation submit, which is blocked by facebook. After research I find chess.com has an F rating with the BBB and facebook is proactively a part of the scam by blocking the cancel submit button.

On December 3, 2016 I attempted to sign into my Facebook account. I received a message stating I had tried to sign in too many times and that I should try later to sign in. I waited until 12/4. Received the same message. I sent messages to all Customer Service Departments of Facebook beginning 12/5/16. I did not receive any feedback until today 12/10/16 that stated I should use their "help" menu to sign in. I stated in every email that I had "used" the help menu but did not receive help! It has become very aware to me that Facebook cares absolutely nothing about their members! I only wish I could get into my account to close it and be "done" with Facebook!

Considering Facebook has a virtual monopoly, it should be required to operate under the laws of the country it operates in. No one is above the law. Why should Facebook be allowed to treat people unfairly.

On 3rd of December 2016 tried to log in to facebook but I was unable to. I requested change password once I logged in, informed I was blocked for posting a nude photo of Marilyn Monroe. Responded to facebook support to informed them that it was not me. I was hacked and changed my password straight away. No response from Facebook. They did not even inform me how long the block would be. I am not even allowed to share posts from other profiles, nor authorised to like posts. I use facebook to log in to other sites (Instagram, twitter, etc.), using, 'login using the Facebook account' but since I am blocked by facebook I am not able to use those sites as well.

I've lost my Facebook account which was seriously important to me. Someone was using my photos in his facebook account. I reported it to facebook. But they disabled my account and said I'm pretending to be someone else. I submitted my national ID card and also shared a personal video where I was saying it is me Hasibul ** and also showed my national ID card. But, Facebook still rejected my request. I don't know what they will accept. The fake account with my photos is still alive. It is really a weird situation.

All I wanted/needed to do was to verify my ID, which I had before. It's been over 3 weeks now, almost a month, and I would really love to have my account back. I had tried to change my name a few months back, a couple of times over the last 2 years, but I got the msg I had changed my name too many times. I don't know why, my last change was in 2013.The name I was using, Dusk, was/is the real last name of my now deceased boyfriend. I was using it in tribute to him, no harm or deceit was ever intended. My support system is wrapped up in my account. I had another boyfriend pass in July of 2016, and then on Oct 29, I had to put my precious dog to sleep due to injuries from an accident, resulting from canine epilepsy. I have had a heap of stress, so my account getting locked was kind of bad timing. I had also been charged my 2 games subscriptions, for Farmville and Royal Story. I can verify this with my PayPal and bank statement.

Facebook falsely accused my account of being fake and suspended and closed my Facebook account & messenger when I reported numerous fake profiles and scammers on Facebook. Facebook has stolen my pictures and my identity and personal info and locked me out of my account. I was informed by numerous people that the reason why Facebook is free it's because they're in the business of selling your information to third parties to different countries to steal your identity without your consent and facebook works with scammers and hackers.

My facebook account had been suspended for 24 hours for asking for password and resetting too many times - I had no problem with that; however, yesterday they asked me to identify my new email/username login and new phone. I typed in my updated email and phone number, confirmed, then they texted me validation code but no place for the validation code. I have been all over the q and a on facebook and you cannot contact them directly, they should have an online chat for help.

I have submitted 3 Government IDs - Passport, Income Tax Card [similar to US IRS] and Academic Record - all three have photo/name/DOB, yet I am not getting any response from support inbox of FACEBOOK. My surname is ** and my complete family is online with similar surnames - why was I singled out? Did someone complain? What was the reason for disabling my account? If someone from FB can respond to the same, it can help improve the virtual environment but simply disabling an authentic account due to a false complaint is just not done. Please help.

I posted a non nude, non sex act adult humor content photo for Halloween and my acct was suspended saying it was inappropriate. I wrote FB and told them I got that photo from another FB acct and that I have seen plenty of nude women on other FB accts and that seems to be ok. Again... mine was not a nude photo. Also I was suspended for using an alias name, as I don't like my name to be searched easily to avoid an unwanted audience and I had to send them id to prove who I was. Yet plenty of other FBers use alias names... some which are not even a name just a made up word and nothing is done. I THINK FB IS SEXIST.

I was participating in a community discussion forum offering my opinion on a certain topic. One user decided to personally abuse me openly because he didn't agree with my view. I promptly reported that to Facebook. What did they immediately do? Offer to block the user so that I can't see what he does. What kind of a solution is that? It is in the same lines as asking you to close your ears with hands when someone is insulting you in public. Later, the Facebook team 'reviews' it and finds that the abuse doesn't violate their community guidelines and they wouldn't take any action. I can't go to a real court for something like this but I feel Facebook is an unworthy social media platform.

FB closed my friend's account, identification send. Facebook is a dangerous and unsafe place period. Fake accounts using apps aren't detectable while authentic account are vulnerable. You never know who is real on Facebook. Your likes are being stolen. It is the jungle on there.

There is a scam page on Facebook that me as well as many more have reported to Facebook. I've watched this page operate for months now and has raked in hundreds of thousands of dollars in their activities. This page is allowed to continue with what they are doing which is clearly illegal. I've even tried to report fake profiles that were just created only to promote this scam page. Facebook didn't find it violated its guidelines. So culprits to a scam is actually operating within Facebook's T.O.S? I don't understand how such blatant and obvious scam/fraud pages are allowed to operate there. Does Facebook even review their reported submissions. I feel that Facebook should be held complacent in these activities.

I have a page on Facebook called Scamhaters United. And I deal with people who have been scammed. Facebook carries many thousands of fake profiles. Especially ones that say US Army... It is very difficult to get them removed, then they return straight back. There are also pages like No Wire No Light. Pages that openly advertise the fraud and scamming that goes on. No attempt to hide... Facebook sees nothing wrong. PEOPLE ARE LOSING THOUSANDS... ALL BECAUSE FACEBOOK HOSTS FRAUD, DOES NOTHING ABOUT IT AND IGNORES IT. Especially foreign women think, well, it's on Facebook... It's real. It has to stop.

I get asked every couple months to show ID to prove who I am and this time I deal with a guy named Jesse. I told him my name is on there. It's just spelled backwards for my protection from a man on there who has raped, beaten and molested me as well as stalked me. That man is still online there. I showed them my student ID this time. Picture and name. 2 months ago I show them drivers license with all info blocked. They are forcing me to use my real name and constantly harassing me. They need to be stopped. I will be filing a petition online for anyone who would like to sign it and have Facebook shut down once and for all. I'm also going after them for pain and suffering because bad enough I have anxiety and face to face people issues. They want to force me to come out to my abuser and say "here I am."

Facebook blocked me indefinitely today for no reason. I have not violated their Community Standard because they don't have one. In the past few months I have seen bullying and name calling reach epic proportions. I reported them but nothing. I can't get ahold of anyone and they won't answer any of my questions, never said they were blocking me. Just did.

Facebook allows racist comments towards ** but yet, when we defend ourselves with the crap that the other race commits, we get blocked and threatened with a ban from Facebook. Their community standards is only meant for certain people, not all.

Facebook created an "Authenticity" Policy allows users to be petty, questioning the identity of others. Example: I posted comedic political memes and have a profile picture of Colin Kaepernick, someone found this offensive, reported my account to Facebook. As a result, Facebook pursued identity authentication, which required me to submit Government-Issued ID or be locked out from my account. The intent of this policy is to lessen/prevent bullying, harassment, and faux celebrity accounts.

I've been with Facebook for 9 years and in the last 4 years, many people online have become intolerant, cyber bullies, which Facebook promotes, in violation of Facebook's own Community Rules. Here's the situation: You post a reply to a public news article, and Someone 99% of the time replies to your individual post with Insults, and name calling, and attacking you personally, and You Report it to Facebook, and They refuse to remove many of their vile comments after being reported. However, to the contrary, if you happen to respond in the exact same manner as the bully, to their rude, you're automatically blocked! One of my comments that was blocked was actually trying to reason with the bully and advising them to stop being rude, without using any harsh words. Still I was blocked.

I have had my Facebook for about 10 years now. Have about 500 friends (family, in real life, and online), and a billion pictures ranging from myself to my son, friends, family, and pets. I've never had any issues when it came to my account. About 3 or so days ago I received a notification from Facebook stating someone was pretending to be me. They had the same first and middle name as me, but had a different last name. Their profile picture was also a picture of me, one that I actually have on my page. I responded to the notification advising this was not okay at all, and the page was deleted. About 2 days later I go to log in and am told my account was disabled because I was reported for being someone I am not. Are you kidding me??

Everyone knows Facebook sells our personal info and knows the DANGERS of using their REAL NAME online. It DOES NOT keep anyone safe specially people who have dealt with stalkers for transgender people who don't want to use their real name because of their gender identity. So out of nowhere tonight without warning I get locked out of my Facebook account. MY ONLY WAY TO CONTACT MY FRIENDS and Facebook is harassing me for photo id. This is PRIVACY INVASION. This is GOVERNMENT OVERREACH. STOP THIS NOW FACEBOOK or risk another PRIVACY INVASION LAWSUIT in the USA like there is in the UK.

Facebook is harassing me about a descriptor name when they aren't doing this for everybody on that site. They are targeting me using policies that they don't enforce for everybody! I use my legal first & last name with a fun name in the middle. I have many friends who don't use their legal names, and nobody is harassing them to change it. The only reason they are harassing me is someone at Facebook has been reading my timeline, deleting posts, and just flat out discriminating against me because they can without identifying themselves. I'm starting to hate this site's controlling behavior and picking on people they feel like picking on.

I received numerous messages, on Facebook, from someone claiming his name is "Smith **". He claimed to be a member of FaceBook security. He would not stop sending me messages telling me to call a phone number to claim a "prize" I had supposedly won through FaceBook. I reported him to FaceBook, and MY ACCOUNT WAS TERMINATED!!! I absolutely refuse to use Facebook anymore.

I was in the fight for my identity or I would have quit, just because I had gaming nicknames did not mean I was not the real me. Resolved and YAY! Leaving Facebook.

I was arguing with some people in a forum with Facebook login plug-in. The next day I was blocked and need to confirm my name and supply my id, but I was registered with an old email that I lost long time ago. Now I lost all my contact because I have hurt some mean people in the forum.

I reported on someone pretending to be me on Facebook and received a "it does not violate community standards" so I reported my picture being used along with my deceased father's picture on Facebook under someone else's name. Facebook came back again saying it does not violate community standards. My friends even reported the fake account and Facebook didn't do anything about it.

I am an expat from South Africa living in Malaysia KL. FB has suspended my account for 3 days. Initially I did not have a problem with this as I can be expressive and may have posted something questionable, but then I noticed that the reason they gave was that a image or video of a child under the age of 18 of a sexual explicit nature had been posted. I have since contacted FB and requested that they tell me which post/video they found offensive as I am NOW taking huge offense as they did not inform me as to what post caused my account to be suspended! Nothing, silence! I am strongly against child abuse of any nature. The reason I am contacting Consumer Affairs and one I never shared with them is that I feel I should not be put into the same category as a pedophile!

In July, my account was disabled pending ID verification which I submitted. I was informed that my account was disabled by mistake and it was restored. Now I am receiving another notice as to why I am blocked from my account. They are asking for me to open a business account. I am just a person that uses facebook to keep in touch with friends and family. No explanation was given and no one has gotten back to me despite my attempts to try to resolve this. I am not an organization or business. It is beyond frustrating and facebook has no accountability for their arbitrary actions. I would be willing to join a class action suit. No business should be allowed to treat people like this and not be held accountable. I also feel that people are targeted for their personal beliefs and political stands.

It has gotten to the point that I really Hate FB! I would never use it except for the fact that I have made a lot of friends and I want to keep up with their lives. I have been reported many times by people who work for a political campaign in my state because I dare to ask questions! It went so far as to have someone say that I was crawling with STD's and they also posted my Address. When I reported it, FB ignored it, but they ended up blocking ME for defending myself! Some people out there have a computer system or something that they can punch in a name and any public comment, punch in the number of times they want to report said comment... And BOOM, Blocked!

I deactivated my first FB account in 2012 for personal reasons, but after much prodding from friends decided to give it another go. Everything seemed to be going well for the past couple of days since I created a new account - until today. In the middle of reading and responding to posts, I suddenly got locked out for absolutely no apparent reason. That was annoying enough but not nearly as aggravating as when I read a prompt telling me I needed to upload two forms of government-issued IDs. To be honest, my first thought was that I was either the victim of a scam or somehow my account had been hacked. I rebooted my computer, ran a full virus scan and tried again. Guess what? Same result.

Ever since 2008 on my fist deployment to Iraq I have been dealing with scammers using my old pics from MySpace. I deleted that account and so I thought. Till this day I still get females writing me on Facebook telling me they got burnt from someone using my photos. I Googled my name and sure enough I was on a website that said (most used military photos used in scams). I lost count how many times I reported to FB about a profile being a fake and clicked on do I know who they are pretending to be hit button me and done.

Instead of controlling who should & who you are allowed to make friends with on Facebook, the owners should concentrate in making Facebook safe so Facebook should be safe from spammers & from those who spread viruses on Facebook. After someone posted malware on my profile I was unable to delete it. It spread & posted itself on the profiles of all my friends profiles without my control. I was unable to delete it & when I did delete it the spam posted itself again & again. I was forced to delete my account. Facebook is starting to lose its popularity. Other social groups are competing against Facebook & I hope I can find a better place to start my profile.

My Facebook Page has been corrupted by foreigners (more than 1). They know it, and their TECH People won't fix it, unless I pay a lot of money. THEIR PAGE, and their tech people want to extort money from me. As YOU CAN see, my computer is working fine, and it is protected. USELESS TOADS! All this can be verified by NORTON and MS.

I got a notice saying that there was a complaint about my name. My first name is Miss. Yes that is my legal first name. They asked for an ID and I sent my DL yesterday. Today I get a note asking if they can change my name to my middle and last name. I said no. They locked me out and asked for a DL again! This time I was told I could be blocked for 90 days or longer. THE DMV DOES NOT PUT TITLES on your DL. It shows as my first name big as life still FB decides. THEY have the right to change my legal name and if I don't oh well, do as I say, it's MY site and if you don't I will LOCK YOU OUT FOREVER. So someone who does not know me can complain to FB I am not using my real name. I can PROVE to FB I am using my real name. FB can determined THEY don't like my real name and can ORDER me to change it or leave. HOW is that right?
