This is a failure to keep account "private" while logged into my account. I was able to see everything about my account at msn.com search engine when I typed my full name in as a search. This is false advertisement on their behalf! I deactivated my account today to avoid any issues!

I can't even go onto this web to cancel because I am not and have never been a member. Myself and family have been harassed and insulted by this person we do not even know. We have tried on numerous occasions to have this resolved with this person creating false profiles for my family members. This person has even hacked my daughter's banking account, etc. I would appreciate a call from someone who could advise on how to deal with this person. We have a suspect with an IP address we were able to track with her having become very bold.

I have reported this to Facebook as have others but nothing has been done. It is appalling. This person cannot advocate for himself and someone has even taken a photo of him and put it on the site. I am so frustrated at the lack of response from Facebook. People will continue to devalue and degrade him.

I have no way of contacting facebook by phone and I do not even have a computer in my own residence. The profile was sent to many of my friends as well as clients. In my opinion, this website should be banned. I cannot believe that there's is no way of contacting facebook about this by phone.

Facebook management is not good. They are depressing their users by these types of things. I have a new account and it’s just the second time I am using Facebook. And I cannot add more friends. I haven’t even added my all relatives yet. I think I have added only 100 friends. They also blocked my one account because I clicked on 'find friends' and added friends from my MSN Live Messenger contacts.

They just disabled my account permanently without any reason. I had more then 2500 pictures of my family and friends in that account. I lost many things, my pictures, my videos, my contacts, my messages. I wish I could do something wrong with the people of Facebook management. They don’t care about their users. They don’t even know that their useless polices can hurt someone without any reason. I lost my all data on my account. These things were more valuable then money.

First of all, Facebook asks users to lie about their full name. I am one of those unfortunate people who didn't have a last name written on my birth certificate. I tried "none" for my last name. It got rejected. Then I tried "Kennedy," which is a lie, and it got accepted. Because I'm obviously not a Kennedy, I used "GSM" for my last name. GSM, as opposed to cellular technology term that was developed on the mid-90's, was a club that I founded in my college years. GSM stands for GEA Sasana Mandiri, which in English is GEA Boxing Club. I thought of the name myself, unaware of any development in cellular technology in Europe. We still use AMPS here at the time, so I thought the term was my intellectual property rights.

Second of all, my account got disabled about 28 hours ago. I sent appeal messages by listing all compliance to the Facebook Statement of Rights and Responsibilities. No response whatsoever from Facebook. I have been using Facebook for approximately 2 years now and got disabled just like that. I didn't see any warning emails nor anything like that on my email inbox from them prior to the disabling. I have read their Statement of Rights and Responsibilities 3 times and found that I didn't break any rules in that statement.

Lastly, I have more than 3,400 friends on Facebook and almost all of them are good people. The main reason I use Facebook for so long is the games, and helping out each other in the games everyday has become a routine activity.

Update for my original post on November 26, 2009: This Facebook virus has gotten worse! It can also come to you through Facebook Chat! My sister's friend, Cheryl, got infected. I watched as the virus sends a wall post to Cheryl's friends! It starts with the "A's" then will keep sending down the alphabet; in this case, to stop at the "J's". This virus will come from a friend, someone you totally trust! If the anti-virus you have isn't good enough, it will infect your computer and then send it to your friends starting with "A".

I have watched this for five months now! There is no place to report a virus or a Trojan to Facebook! You can report hacking, but this may result in them deleting your account! Mostly, this will come to you in your messages, a line or two of misspelled words, followed by the tainted link. I personally don't delete mine... Facebook will do that for you as part of the huge cover up that is going on.

There are many, many dangers on this site! I know I have stopped a few people from this horrible virus that will totally destroy your computer! I have made screen shots of every virus that has come to me and my friends. It is not going anywhere, and neither am I. Cheryl got this from her sister. A family member will forgive, but this is still turning friend against friend and strangers into enemies. It is stronger today than it ever was.

I was locked out of my Facebook account briefly. When I was able to log in, I was still blocked and I was told I had to change my password because I was using the same password for "other accounts"?! Since I don't have "other" Facebook accounts (and could not have them under the same email address if I wanted them), this means that Facebook is tracking my activity outside of their website and that these "other accounts" and Facebook are sharing my password information. My "other accounts" are none of Facebook's business and they definitely have no business knowing my password for these "other accounts". How do they know if I am using the same password?

My password is unique enough that I don't worry much about hackers but now I have to worry about these sites following my activity and sharing my info when they are not supposed to. When I sign up, I set up a so-called secure password for that website. Then some other website can find out if I'm using the same one. Where's the privacy in that?

We agreed that I would buy crochete earrings from her for my winter inventory. The wholesale price was $70.00 and she would send me about 8 pair. I provided my adress, phone number. On Oct 16 2009, I brought a money pak from Rite Aid and reloaded the money into the account number that Ms. Nora Hill provided for me. Once finished I confirmed to Nora the money was available. Two days later I called and Nora said she hadn't sent off the items. I called a day later, she said she just left the post office but she was driving and she didn't have the confirmation number. I called her a day later, she said she was with her mom, her car broke down and she'd get me the confirmation number from fed ex later. Days have gone by and Ms. Nora Hill won't return my calls, she won't give me the tracking number, she won't reply back on face book, return texts, or refund cash. However, I went to log in and my account was disabled. Johanna from user support reactivated my account 48 hours later, but that same day, my account was disabled again without warning. Meanwhile, Facebook already removed the 4 photos that they believed violated their terms of use. Why was I disabled again?

I always get hung up on when I call their customer service line and it takes 48 hours plus to receive a reply from someone. I still have not gotten my account reactivated and Marissa from user support said my account was disabled and will ever be reactivated. I have 40+ albums of my son, who will be four years old, that they will not let me have (even knowing he is going for brain surgery in one month) nor will they inform me who, what or why my account was disabled for the second time after they already removed the content that they say violated their terms.

I then since re-opened another Facebook account and 4 days later after opening it, it has been disabled. I am quite disgusted with their customer service and lack of warning and information. I still haven't received a reply why my second account was disabled and who is torturing me on my account and causing this to happen. I'm a very furious and frazzled user right now. All my friends have their accounts in there except me. I am really annoyed and I am willing to go legally against this as it proves to be the highest level of negligence. I have heard so many stories about how some fake person can create the account in Facebook and send bad emails about someone. So, I suggest Facebook should stop its mailing service to other people until and unless they are friends. Now anyone can send anything about anyone. I hope Facebook will realize what's going on around. If this is not stopped now then Facebook will lose huge number of customers.

I don't know what to do! My FB account was disabled last Friday without any warning. I am a 49-year-old woman who enjoys searching for past classmates and friends on FB. I also play the word association games that are some of the discussion groups that I had joined. As soon as FB disabled my account, I emailed them according to their help panel. I have since emailed them, but with no success or response. I have not done anything illegal on FB. I enjoy passing the time playing word games and play scrabble online (different sites). I know that there are several spammers and bad people who are on FB who have not been got and should definitely have their accounts disabled. Why are they picking on the innocent ones? Why are they not replying? Some service. Please help me.

To continue with concerns mentioned below: one of my friends that I recently found on FB is someone I went to high school with. She is a breast cancer survivor, but is now left with a brain tumor caused by the radiation treatments. Incidentally, her sister died from cancer some years ago. Her family has gone through enough. I have recently rekindled our friendship and her friends were reaching out to her at her time of need and it is very therapeutic. Please reactivate my account so I can stay in touch with her as I have no other way of reaching her.

But when I filled it in, my answer was that I was straight (I'm gay) which is the fun thing about it. But then, it said I was straight, therefore I'm normal! I felt sick. Who can determine who is normal or not? I was shocked. I've struggled with my sexuality all my childhood and seeing that has really disheartened me! Am I not normal? I have also put a complaint in to facebook and the developer. I just don't want any young person to see that and think that gay is not normal. Being gay is not wrong, nor is it not normal.

I was an administrator for the Facebook application, Warbook, which is overrun with cheats who make multiple accounts which do not seem to be policed by Facebook in any meaningful way. I became very effective at finding these fake accounts and banning them. This led to a campaign against me on the Warbook forum, with all sorts of accusations being made. Particularly galling were that I was a stalker and that my wife was a mail order **. Many of these accusations were made by demonstrably false accounts. Being human, I posted some less than delicate replies, but nothing in comparison to what was directed against myself and my colleagues.

One day about two weeks ago, I woke to find my Facebook account disabled. On contacting Facebook, I was told that I had used my account to harass other users and would never be reactivated. I subsequently learned that a campaign had been mounted against me by a certain group of cheats, which included the use of fake female accounts to say I had threatened them. I have informed Facebook of this but they do not reply.

A couple of days ago, the same thing happened to another ex-administrator. The conspirators are openly bragging of this in Skype chats and plotting who they should get banned next. Some friends have created a Facebook group in my support, which has over 50 real members, not fake accounts. The Warbook developer has been in touch with Facebook, most recently, with complaints about some of these people script spamming the forum. Again, nothing has been done. I find it totally disgusting that Facebook will not act on real complaints of abuse, but can be played like a bad piano by these people.

I started using Facebook over a year ago. Soon after I opened my account, I started getting friend requests of my mum's ex-partner and his new girlfriend. I ignored them at first. They kept coming. So I sent them both a really nasty message, telling them where to go. I got a reply threatening me. I then find out of a friend they have tried to add them and they have added friends of friends. Most of my friends didn't accept. They created a new ID in my name, all my details, tried to add me and nearly everyone on my friends list, and on their friends lits as well. I reported them. Nothing from Facebook but an automated email telling me how to change my privacy, which I did. Then my friends started getting IDs of random names, with my pictures and my details.

I again complained to Facebook, automated reply again. I think over the last year, I have complained and wrote at least twice a month, sometimes more, depending on how many times they have created new IDs. I still haven't had any contact from Facebook. I have closed my account now. I have found out today that they are still creating accounts in my name and in fake names, and even though my friends have picked up from me complaining to Facebook, still nothing has been done. Facebook should be able to stop people having multiple accounts (more than 5 from 1 IP address is over the top) and if they do, they should ban them. I have sent Facebook suggestions on how to help people in my position, but nothing again.

My daughter had an account. She had to close hers because they created an account in an 11-year old girl's name and my daughter added her thinking it was a friend on the street where we live. I then involved the police, which to my horror, I discovered nothing can be done. This so-called man was pretending to be a little girl, adding little boys and girls. Where I come from there is a word for people like him. Still Facebook and the police do nothing. If it was going on in the real world, they would be done for stalking. As it is on a networking site, nothing is done.

At the end of the day, whichever way you look at it, it is cyber-bullying, which I was under the impression wasn't allowed on Facebook. How can Facebook justify letting these people keep doing what they are doing and yet they close people's accounts because of silly things like too many messages being sent or posting on a wall or even adding people for Mafia Wars. I think it's disgusting that they don't care about the right things. They need to get their priorities right. My health, my daughter's health and my friendships have been pushed to the limit over these sad little people. Luckily, I have very good friends who have made their feelings towards these people clear to Facebook.

My Account Getting Blocked: The first time I used Facebook, my ID was not active at the time because I’m active at my Friendster. A year later, all of my friends switch to Facebook and I switched to Facebook. Three months ago, my Facebook became active. Later in Facebook, they have game apps called Mafia Wars. I played it along with my friends. In the meantime, all began smooth and I much like Facebook. I spent on the computer almost a minimum of 8 hours with Facebook. Seven days ago when I played and added friends, suddenly the system in Facebook halted. Usually when it happens, you can press add friend twice or more and the system runs again, but this time, the system did not give any warning and suddenly my account was blocked. I already appealed on Facebook, but only received automated system answer, and they said, "You must be friends. They must study it and reply to you soon. In the meantime you must read the rules". I already sent as much mail almost everyday, but still have no answer yet.

When I log in, they said my account is blocked. So I activated my other account. At first, the account was going smooth, but in a couple of days, Facebook and Zynga, the operator of Mafia Wars, have a delay on their system. I played carefully, afraid that my account may get lost again. But in this day, when I want to post my comment, suddenly Facebook system halted and said you cannot post at this time. So I pushed the button again. Suddenly my account is blocked again without warning.

How did this happen? My account is very precious to me. I have multiple contacts and photos. Also, now I’m managing a reunion event. In my opinion, Facebook is unfair and silly. I've lost all of my works, contact and album. I'm also a computer technician. I consider their system is over protected to spam and they were unfair in blocking someone’s account without giving any warning. They also don’t give you any chance to login to your own account. I have privacy and human rights, too. I already began to complain about my second account. So now my 2 accounts are getting blocked and I don’t know whether it can be restored or not. Facebook’s Customer Support is very slow and irresponsible.

My account has recently had activity on it that was not done by me and I have no idea if I was disabled because of something I or somebody else has done and after all the time and effort I have put into my account, I am furious that I haven't even received a reply as to why it happened. As there seems to be little I or anyone else can do to Facebook they must believe they are untouchable and therefore don't need to pay any attention or offer any kind of customer service to the people that unfortunately rely on it so much.

I was unaware that there was a limit to how much you could talk to your friends and am very confused at why I received this message. I looked into this further and found that if you repeat the same message several times, you can be warned. I had pressed the send button on an earlier message a few times before giving up and finding an alternative way of contacting my friend. This was because of difficulties that the website itself was having and not due to any of my own misconduct and abuse of features or whatever I am being punished for.

I had a facebook account for awhile, I didn’t use it much for over a year, maybe more. I added a friend at the friend's request and within a few days I ended up adding dozens of friends through a network of friends (close to 100). I was a prominent member of an organization of which former members now seek support through networking tools like facebook.
In addition to adding many friends I did have some nude pictures on there, I admit that I did not read the fine print and I thought that only a few friends could see the pictures. I’m a little surprised that freedoms are surpressed and censorship is so punitive when facebook friendships are restricted to only those you allow to see your account. What happens between friends is the business of facebook? I was sharing pictures with close friends only. I wouldn’t want my mom to see them, therefore I wouldn’t accept her as a friend. Without warning my account was disabled. I have mixed feelings about it. I question how “private” facebook is and I question their “punishment.” There was never an opportunity to correct the situation, which I would have gladly done. I question the “right” facebook has to allow you to establish a network that they arbitrarily take away, without any kind of due process there will be friends with which I will never be able to reconnect. There are limits to how much any business can regulate or censor its customers, even violate their constitutional rights, when they invite the public to their business. If I am in a store and the store doesn’t like a picture I show a friend, can the store kick me out? Can they ban me from the store permanently? How far does public policy allow us to go with the censorship? Facebook is a private company, but so is the telephone company and they can't disconnect a call because they don’t like the subject of my conversation. The post office is not public and they can't refuse to deliver mail for which they find the contents offensive. If I violate the policies of the phone company, post office or any store they do not have the right to dismiss me permanently without a warning, notice or hearing. Personally, I think it is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Generally harm or loss must attach. In addition to the emotional distress people suffer, what about the connections people make to stay with others around the world? When those connections are lost, it isn’t difficult to calculate a monetary loss. In addition to many other scenarios, there may even be medical or healthcare advice being exchanged that could cause serious injury or death. I realize that facebook is putting the public on “notice” when it has the policy online. However, those wrap-around or adhesion contracts do not stand up in every state. Facebook should have an expectation that they could be hauled into court in any jurisdicton through long arm statutes and international treaty. I’m sure they address that in their “contract” as well, but, again, those don’t always stand up. What’s also interesting is that apparently some receive a warning and some do not. This is but one of the warnings found on facebook’s “help center warnings.” “You received this warning because a photo or video that you uploaded has been removed for violating Facebook’s Terms of Use. Photos and videos containing nudity, drug use, or other graphic content are not allowed, nor are photos or videos that depict violence or that attack an individual or group. Unfortunately, for technical reasons, we are unable to provide further information about the removed content. In order to prevent this from happening in the future, please refrain from posting photos or videos of this kind and remove any that still exist on the site.” http://www.facebook.com/help.php?page=421 Apparently there are different standards for different individuals. It would be interesting to see the different standards used for different groups. In other words, is facebook discriminating? Does facebook have less tolerance for gays, lesbians, blacks, hispanics, women, etc.? They invited the public, they have to play by the rules of our society. The rules include some constitutional rights. While it is true that I don't have to join facebook anymore than I have to go to a store, it is also true that no one ever said facebook had to open a business and invite the public.

On Monday, March 30, 2009, at 2:45pm (Singapore Time), I received a warning email. Before 2:58pm, I was booted out and my account was disabled. I've sent emails to disabled@facebook.com, abuse@facebook.com, and appeals@facebook.com with no response. After reading **, I was appalled to find out that my account disablement might be due to sending too many messages to friends (who have already accepted my friend invites) at a timing deemed by Facebook to be too short a time.

I've send out numerous emails to the above stated without any result. My account was disabled without ample warnings. If you notice, the time on the warning email was less than 15 minutes. I didn't read it until I was booted out because it was sent to my email account instead of the Facebook notifications or messaging service. My account was very important to me because my husband works really long hours, and Facebook was our only way of communication. I've pleaded my case to their administrators. I've made my inquires on which regulations did I breach. The warning email, as you can read from below, did not state the supposed breach of regulations I've committed. How do I remain within their regulations if I don't even know what did I do wrong? By the way, I did read their terms and conditions, and I highly doubt I breached their regulations.

Till today, I've yet to receive a response from Facebook. All I got was an automated reply saying that they will get back to me... please read our terms and conditions. I really need help. In fact, what brings about the search for a venue to complain was this numerous amount of people being abused this way. Not a single thing was done. Some of the accounts were never reinstated. We did not do anything wrong here. If we are to be punished this way, just for sending messages, then it's not fair. This is not spam; we are not harassing anyone. Why do this to so many people?

This is just way too depressing, and to think I resisted Facebook for so long. It seems that our account has been held hostage by Facebook. Our life hangs in the balance waiting for that one email to say that our accounts have been re-activated. How long do we have to wait for this to happen? When it does, Facebook doesn't provide answers or apologies to why we were disabled in the first place. How to prevent us from being disabled in the future, nobody knows and nobody can give a definite answer. To whom shall we cry out to when this cyber bullying continues? I was happy for a while when I could talk to my husband while he's still at work. Now, all I can do every day is to wait for him to come home. By the time he does, I would only have a couple hours of sleep before I have to get up and go to work.

Other people solicit their causes, charities etc. My attorney even wrote to them and got no response. They are damaging me. However, when I was contacted by a 419 scammer, they did nothing. They will allow negative material on the site but attacked me for positive material. They need to lose their right to do business.

I am losing support and contacts that can and will further my cause. I am concerned people will think I have done something wrong and I have not. I am going to call Sacramento and complain to the assembly woman who applauded my effort and offered help. I also will use the media to expose what they are doing.

I got the message that my account had been disable because I violated some code. I read their code and there is nothing described there that I would ever do. I suspect it is a problem with my e-mail as I set it up under an address that I don't use now that the campaign is over. I can only suspect that is the case as they will not respond to my questions. I had over 700 contacts and I have no idea what they will see when they try to contact me now. I feel slandered by their actions. I set up my first Facebook account about a month ago with no incident. I saw that several of my friends had both personal accounts and accounts in their business name, and since my husband and I just opened a new restaurant, I figured it would be a good idea to set up one for the business. I used another email address to do it, and once it was set up, I went in and changed the contact email to my usual address, the same one my personal page was using. I had no idea it would ELIMINATE the link to my personal account, and when I contacted Help to get it fixed, they never responded, but disabled BOTH my accounts. I am not some kid that uses this service to play and talk to my buds. I use it for business contacts, etc. I have written to Help almost every day for over a week now, asking them to restore my personal account, as it is still obviously active because I'm receiving friend requests and messages, but I can't get to any to respond. I have not received a single response, even though I have used all means of requesting help -- through their my account has been wrongly disabled link, the regular help link and others. I am also considering launching a law suit here in SC because of their horrible service, and not even given anyone the chance to argue their point. My personal account is legal and has no problems. It is still active on their servers, yet I, as the owner of it, is locked out of it while others can access it. All I did was innocently set up another account, and did not realize this was wrong, since I can name at least 20 people I know personnally that have at least 2 FB accounts, for their business or otherwise. It seems all my FB interaction has gotten me is to put me on some list for Facebook Adult that sends me messages about erotic dancers. Obviously this is an unwelcome intrusion, but must be somehow linked to Facebook, because I never got these emails until I signed up. How can we force FB to at least respond to our emails. They don't list a phone number, but I'm going to put my best detective efforts to that pursuit. They are falsely advertising a help service that doesn't respond in any way, and are wrongly disabling accounts for no good reason, and without even considering our side of the story. I think they should be dismantled, and all of us reimbursed for the wasted time we've spent trying to work with them.

The three emails were from Dice and COMCAST, and thanked me for my recent inquiries! THIS SEEMS LIKE FRAUD TO ME, as I never provided my mobile number to Facebook. Any attempt to explain this has been met with long (up to a week in one case) delayed responses of a very ignorant nature. I have evidence that there are children as young as seven years using facebook. I have joined facebook to keep in contact with my family and have been shocked by the content of comments and pictures and the ease of gaining information about people. I know know many things about people some of whom I never met, that makes them appear less than upright. That is just by accessing the accounts of my family. Facebook is a grooming ground for peadophiles and perverts and many otherwise innocent people can be lead astray. lonely girls are very much in danger.

There are more and more very young children who are joining because there friends have joined and they are exposed to 'adult' material and exploitation.

I have in the last two days been disabled by facebook and have not been told a reason or anything...It was just done, I had no warning nothing since then I have sent them two Emails one yesterday and one today and am now waiting a reply, I had some good friends on there and also some relatives on there who I kept in regular contact.

If it is a web-site that we are supposed to get envolved and to make friends then why is there such strict rules I can understand that there has to be rules for safety and privcy but if they are going to do something like disable then why can they not warn people so that they can change the way they act on facebook...that would be the correct way to go about things other than just disabling without any notice whats so ever! Some of the ads on the left hand side of the facebook window are dangerous. These ads are of girls stomachs and show hands pinching the skin on the sides. they read do you want to lose flab? or quotations like that. The girls in the ads are very very slim yet have flab? These ads are damaging to girls in the facebook agegroup who are already experiencing the pressure to be thin at college. I am a rising sophomore in college, a college athlete, and yet these ads make me feel very uneasy. I allready feel pressure to be thin

I just wish facebook would not put up these ads. there is no option to remove the ad. Everyone I know checks facebook at least once a day, more commonly multiple times. These ads will get into young girls especially through this popular venue. Please petition facebook to give an option to block those ads. It is upsetting.

I reluctantly joined FACE-BOOK. I set my privacy levels as high as they'll go. I never post my E-mail address. Within hours of joining I started to get SPAM. A lot! And as the days go by it gets worse and worse. Its only been 2 weeks an I get 20+ a day. I rarely ever got it before. I cleared my cookies and history. It keeps getting worse. What is FACE-BOOK doing? I know all my FRIENDS and none are responsible. Is there a way to stop it? What right do they have to sell my private E-MAIL?

Facebook Is A Disgrace: My account was disabled by facebook for apparantly having a fake account. How on earth can they justify this if all the information on the site was true data and every friend requested or accepted me. So who is fake here? I also see they like to mention about people using real names and real personal information...YET THIS IS SUCH A STRICT TERM OF CONDITION SO [IT SEEMS] FACEBOOK CAN SELL OFF YOUR DETAILS TO THIRD PARTY COMPANIES!

Facebook allowed private information to be obtained by myluvcrush.com about my 13 year old daughter. They, with the knowledge and complicity of the phone carrier (TELUS mobility) send unsolicited and illict e-mail to my daughter( who is only 13) daily, for the last month

$50 overcharge on the phone bill , plus worry about the lack of safety from predators who can clearly and easily troll Facebook and target innocents at will. What is next, pedophiles?

I have been a user of Facebook for over a year. In this time, i have my profile disabled numerous times for the following reasons. -Spamming (replying to too many of my friends messages and sending messages to my groups. I mean, if these people don't want to get my group messages, then why join my group?) -Harrassment (they won't go into detail but i'm pretty certain that they disabled me on the say so of a woman who used her account (who has since been disabled for being a fake!) to have me disabled. I can assure you, i have harrassed NO ONE) When i started a new profile on Facebook, the first message i got was from [her] goading me. I blocked her that very instant and avoided all contact with her. After was disabled she continued to harrass me with her real account by following me around and commenting on various groups, videos, postings or photos that i was connected with, just so that i would receive a notification from Facebook. I reported her harrassing me to Facebook but she is still lording it up on there... -Fake Name (Apparently my name is a fake and even though i've provided them with a scan of my passport this is not good enough...

Today, i lost my profile again. The message i recieved was as follows: Hi, Fake names are a violation of our Terms of Use. Facebook requires users to provide their full first and last names (i.e. no initials). The question is why ME? Why are they doing this to me simply because i have an unusual name? I have just written back to Facebook to ask them why they continue to antagonise and discriminate against me because my name is unusual. No doubt they will ignore me all together or send me the usual standard robotic response... I don't mean to sound like a drama queen, but as much fun as Facebook is, sometimes i really do question if it is worth it. I can appreciate that they will never keep all their users happy but i feel as if i am purposely antagonised by the Facebook User Operations team, in particular BELLA and it has affected me physically in a number of ways

The main effect is probably stress. Suddenly being cut off by all my friends, family and colleagues for days on end. Having my connections fried! My photos, groups, events, messages, notes and gifts all vanish forever. It's quite distressing. I'd even go as far as to say that they've made me feel depressed at times. There are numerous groups on Facebook petitioning for not only MY return but the return of other people who have been unfairly disabled without a proper explanation. Not to mention those petitioning once and for all for Facebook to stop disabling EVERYONE for stupid reasons.

Just to be clear... for me, this is not about money. This is about me being treated differently to other users of Facebook. This is about me being affected by the persistently antagonistic working practice of the Facebook User Operations Team. If i could write to Mark Zuckerberg (CEO) i would've done it already, but he's a tough guy to get hold of....

I am siick of going into an application and the message reads one of your friends have ..... and when you click on it, its an advertisment for something. This is false advertising and an absolute nuisance to me and fellow users. This is not acceptable. I click on these things hoping I have a message from a friend but all I get is a company trying to sell me things. If this does not stop I will cancel my account with facebook.

The physical damage is the mental damage to myself as this site is my only way of comunicating with friends and if i get a false message saying one of your friends sent this or invited you to a specific page you will click on it. its not fair

I sent a message to a former friend of mine, basically asking him why he's been ignoring my messages.

He reported me to Facebook as having harassed him, which I certainly did not. Facebook is unwilling to discuss the issue besides pasting the obvious nonsense,

In regards to the warning that you have received, we do not allow users to send threatening, sexually explicit, or harassing messages to others. Unsolicited messages will also not be tolerated. Unfortunately, for technical and security reasons, we are unable to provide further details regarding your warning. In order to prevent this from happening in the future, please refrain from sending messages of this kind. For more information on conduct prohibited by Facebook, please read our Terms of Use, which can be accessed by clicking on the terms link at the bottom of any Facebook page.

I have asked over and over for a human to review the issue, and have been ignored. I have even sent a BBB complaint and have been ignored. What must I do to get an actual human who is willing to review the issue?

Facebook has provided a simple online and near instant means of communication for students to be connected to their school. However, by adding multiple applications to the Facebook network the company is moving in a direction that puts people in danger.

One example of this is their latest means to create funds for the company--an application called 'docs'. They have outsourced a company called Scribd so students can view works of other students. The danger lies in the outcomes of such a convenience: Plagiarism.

Plagiarism is something that school administrations have been working hard and tirelessly to make students aware of what it is, how to avoid it, and its consequences. Facebook is now providing a direct link to a site that offers a "Great Library of Schoolwork" where anyone can contribute.

Over 50,000 documents have been uploaded, including problems sets, ebooks, lecture notes, and random funny stuff. This is an instant and free link to view works of other individuals. The simple act of providing this link undermines the protection efforts of the academia community.

Applications such as these skew the serious nature of plagiarism. Plagiarism is an easily misunderstood concept with severe consequences. Providing links such as these to unaware or misguided consumers is a danger to school systems, and individual people (i.e. students).

The company Facebook seems to understand this danger. In the protection of their company they have this to say about the application: Facebook is providing links to these applications as a courtesy, and makes no representations regarding the applications or any information related to them. Any questions regarding an application should be directed to the developer.

This statement is a disguise (via a back door) to hide and remove the responsibility of their company to ethically protect their users.
