I am low income and have a hard time understanding things and Spectrum has helped me time after time when I call and ask for help. I needed my bills lowered and I needed a new phone. Ryan in Texas spent over 45 minutes trying to figure out how to help me. Going over what I have, what I use, what I need and I dont need. In the end he got my bills down and a new phone through financing very affordable. The fact, after we got off the phone, 5 hours later I called the number again and talked to Laura in Washington to make sure the deal with real. She confirmed it was. I was crying.

The next day when I got my phone out of the box all I had to do was turn on the phone and scan the qr code and then my phone started working. I didn't even know what an eSim was until I looked it up. A digital sim card. Things are getting easier now. I was shocked at how quickly my new phone was ready to go and I didn't have to go to the spectrum store to do it for me. I am thankful for their hard work to help me.

I switched to Spectrum Mobile in January 2025. At that time, I added 3 lines. I live in an area that has weak cell phone signals from all major carriers so I was a little concerned about the level of service I would receive from Spectrum. If the signal strength from the major carriers was weak, what could I expect from a relatively recent start-up mobile service? After speaking to a Spectrum representative and a neighbor who already had Spectrum Mobile, I decided to make the switch. No regrets. I have no issues making and receiving voice calls and using data when not connected to Wi-Fi. And as an added bonus, I'm paying almost 50% less than I was paying with my previous carrier.

I recently added a 4th line. The website was easy to navigate and the customer service representative I spoke to (I had a non-technical question about adding a new line) was very helpful, polite and professional. She asked me if I had finished adding the 4th line via the website. I told her no and she offered to complete the process for me. I told her "sure, that would be great." A few minutes later the line was active. If Spectrum mobile is in your area, I would recommend them. The cellular coverage is very good and customer support is exceptional.

I recently switched my cell phone service from Metro PCS to Spectrum and decided to keep my device. After receiving my Sim card in the mail, I called Spectrum mobile support to get them to help me activate it. I was transferred to Fernando (I think that was his name), and he was the best part of the process. He was absolutely amazing and freakishly, but refreshingly, patient (LOL) with me while guiding me through the activation process.

From patiently waiting on one line while I chatted with Metro PCS on another line to inquire about my phone being locked or not, and to get my account info, to guiding me on finding the IMEI number to inserting the Sim card. He provided exceptional customer service, was knowledgeable and most of all, resolved the issue and got me connected! I usually don't do reviews, but because of his support and going above and beyond, I actually inquired about a survey just so I could shout him out. Establishing and retaining customer relationships and satisfaction can be made or broken by how customer service provides professional, courteous and helpful customer service, and Fernando did that and more!

If he had been inpatient, rude, disrespectful or had no clue of what he was doing, I wouldn't have had any problem returning their Sim card and canceling the service before it got started, but because of his exceptional customer service, I am a new and satisfied mobile customer. He deserves a raise for sure and should definitely be a trainer because he knows mobile activations, but most importantly, he knows how customer service and support should be done!👏

My tech supporter was Travis yesterday, who spoke clear American English with no foreign accent, patiently listening to my situation while out of state away from my Spectrum home internet, understanding my situation with poor T-Mobile cellular service at this vicinity. With his professional help and a 3-way conference call to my wife (T-Mobile “plan manager”), both my iPhone and iPad were switched from T-Mobile cellular service over to the Spectrum Mobile cellular service, while I remained at this rather remote rural area. This has resulted in much improved voice phone call quality, with a consistent conversation ability not experienced with T-Mobile (unless I drive into town near the interstate highway, or sometimes going outside the front door of this house seeking a decent signal strength).

I am now experiencing some usual email openings with message and image display, whereas before with T-Mobile I might need to wait about a whole minute for the emails to even show up in my inbox, then another delay to open & view messages, with slow image loading. My iPhone 11 Pro Max is 6 years old & only 4G capable, my iPad Mini 6 is about 3 years old & 5G. With this new Spectrum Mobile cellular service I have not seen 5G service at this home location yet, only LTE, but the “bandwidth”(?) is consistently satisfactory thus far. I do much use of mapping, for “Find My”, navigating, airplane pilot applications, and there has been no delays with the maps loading since switching to Spectrum from T-Mobile.

Today I made a call for tech support speaking with “Dee” about my internet sharing HOTSPOT to connect with my Windows PC tablet/notebook, something that worked (but slow/intermittent) with T-Mobile, however with the Spectrum Mobile cellular data thus far I have not been able to get internet access with the Windows PC although it does WiFi connect the same to either my iPhone or iPad. Something I will continue to work on and expect better results when back in my Florida home area where I expect Spectrum Mobile cellular data will “hotspot” as usual.

Devon ** come to my house Saturday for Internet problems that I have been having for two years with my Wi-Fi. I have called numerous times. I bet you 50 times the manager come out here and left me his card and phone number. Told me to call him if I had any more problems, which I did, he would not even call me back or answer his phone so I don’t know why he left me a business card but after numerous people coming out, Devon come out after two years of problems completely be wired. Everything fixed everything it works great I don’t understand why he is not a manager or a supervisor.

He went way beyond on a Saturday afternoon. What anybody else was willing to do everyone else come out here and want to see how quick they could leave he stayed fixed the problem make sure I was happy completely rewired everything just like a new service. I have not had any problems out of the Internet. Someone should take him out to lunch and give him a raise. He knows what he’s doing. He’s the best.

If you are a business using a PBX phone system expect to pay a bunch of money to switch over to VoIP phones because we just experienced a nightmare dealing with a modem upgrade. After the new modem was installed our phones would only ring once and then disconnect. We several techs from Spectrum come out and ended up having to pay out of pocket for a phone tech and an IT tech to diagnose the issue. After escalating the issue we finally got a Spectrum tech that came out to confirm that this issue has been occurring with PBX phone systems because the older technology wasn't compatible with the newer modem. So we shelled out more money to buy VoIP phones, however the porting of our main number to the new phone system has taken weeks. We are going on 2 months now of issues with receiving calls.

This has been a terrible experience. Spectrum promised a buried fiber optic line and fast internet. The initial installation technician did a terrible job. According to another spectrum tech, the route he chose to run the cable through a culvert is illegal. Our burial was rescheduled 3 times. We are now waiting on the fourth. Automated phone lines run you through menus for hours until you reach a real person. Then that person sends you to another, each with a poor excuse for why the service was cancelled, or flat out says that they don't see prior appointments scheduled in the system. Then they send you to another person who says they will have to email and call you back, which they never do.

Today I insisted on speaking with an advisor or superior. The person I spoke with said I couldn't do that. I asked if he has a supervisor and he replied "yes." I clarified that he had a supervisor but simply wouldn't transfer my call to the supervisor. He said "yes." When I ask why he said that "That's not how we do things here." In other words, no one is accountable for a dropped ball. The customer spends tens of hours on the phone trying to get service and sits with a 'fragile' cable in an un-mowed yard indefinitely.

At least 9 years with Spectrum (internet service). Suddenly, Spectrum unauthorized adding unknown person (for mobile service) to my account. The unknown added person made $$2600 merchandises with a monthly auto payment, but it was canceled a month later. We called them so many times, each time was at least 2 hours but nothing resolved. We filed BBB and FCC complaints. Our next move will be a civil case at court.
