    Exceptional customer experience. The store specialist (AJ) was professional, knowledgeable, thorough and patient. We had a lot of concerns about switching from Verizon since we had been with them for 20 years. We were able to keep our phone #s and the switch went perfectly. We are now bundling phones, internet and TV streaming services and saving a LOT of money.

    I wanted to leave a short review regarding my long-term experience with Spectrum services. I was a customer for many years beginning in the mid 2000s timeframe. We had internet, phone and TV at one time. Over the course of several years of relatively poor service and frustrating dealings with customer service, we gradually cancelled all services with them. Spectrum throttled our internet speed without notifying us at one point, and we dropped them over that too. We’ve been years without any type of service from them. I did want to point out that the very final straw occurred just a couple months back.

    We still had a Roadrunner email address that we’d had forever, and was being supported by Spectrum. After years of ignoring their calls and incessant mailings to become a customer again (they seemed to really love us after we’d quit them completely), they somehow got the bright idea to try to strong arm us into becoming customers again by threatening to cut off our Roadrunner email (which had been our “home” account for 20+ years). We did not become customers again, and they did cut off the email which I think is nothing more than being spiteful and petty. We’ve transitioned our ancient account now, but I’ll tell anyone interested to never do business with these people.

    I’d do without internet service before I’d do business with them again. They’re only out to chisel more money out of you at every turn, while providing mediocre service at best. Their customer service is also amazingly tone deaf as well and completely uninterested in retaining old or new customers in my experience! Avoid at all costs!

    After almost a decade of enjoying various services from Spectrum and exhibiting a solid payment record, we renegotiated our contract. We tried other companies in the past, but were never offered the incredible quality service and adequate pricing we get from Spectrum. It is a pleasure to recommend them.

    I called to switch over from Verizon and also upgrade my phone. The rep was very pushy, however, he told me that he had a deal for me and offered me HBO, Hulu and Disney+, internet and over 150 channels, including my mobile line for $150. I agreed but when I tried to use HBO, Hulu & Disney + with my Spectrum app it did not work. Another rep told me that my service did not include these things. The original rep was not honest with me and I have no way of following up with him. And when I tried to activate my phone with spectrum, this same rep had put in the wrong phone number so I had to call in again and get assistance. Wow!

    I am pissed! Received a call from spectrum after terminating internet service. It was on Nov 23, 2025, after returning my equipment to the spectrum store. The offer was that I would receive 1gig at the same price I was initially receiving. The representative said if I transferred my new phone from AT&T, that I could be reimbursed plus receive up to a year of free services. That I need to pay off phone, show proof and they will send me a form to complete to get reimbursed. It took me s month to pay $750 and get transferred over to Spectrum.

    I call Spectrum to get the reimbursement form to get my money back and they say that I don’t qualify. That I need to transfer two lines and that they just reactivated my number not as an import and that I need another phone line from another phone company in order to qualify. Other than that, it’s nothing that they can do. Just like that, nothing can be done. Well, that’s false advertisement because I didn’t call you but that is what was offered to me! It’s not easy to come up with that money just to be told I didn’t qualify! Where is the part where you were a good customer and we want to keep your business!

    I was looking forward to trying mobile service with Spectrum as they seemed to be cheaper than Verizon! So I set up mobile service with Spectrum, received my IPhone 17. I activated the phone. Not 10 minutes after activation I received a call from someone saying they were Spectrum and I needed to send phone back to them as they sent the wrong phone to me. I ask them several times to verify their identity. When I called them back they answered Specturm! I sent the phone to them with the label they provided! I contacted Spectrum after I didn’t get my new phone that they said they would resend. I Was then informed this was a scam and I am responsible to pay for the phone anyway!

    I tried going thru UPS to stop the delivery and return to me with no luck! I placed a police report and provided to Spectrum! They still said they would NOT write off phone and I am responsible to pay! I have to stay with my old provider now as I can’t afford to pay for another phone! UPS had no security set up for this situation and as far as I can tell Spectrum doesn’t either.

    I have been using Spectrum for home internet. I was able to switch to their mobile from AT&T and the price difference is unreal. I am so glad I switched. I am paying $120 less a month!!! I am for sure going to be telling my friends and family about them.

    My wife and I just got tired of paying ridiculously high phone bills. We were paying $121 a month with AT&T. We switched to Spectrum for less than half that price, and we see no difference in service. As a matter of fact, there are two dead spots among the four we now get serviced. As the title says, we were leery at first, but took the plunge. Well worth it.

    Very difficult getting number switched from previous carrier. Took at least three rep from Spectrum or more. It was just a VERY frustrating experience. Was disconnected at least once. Was told more than once I am speaking to a person who could not help me, etc.

    I had issues that multiple agents did not resolve. The problem caused a longer amount of time complete the transfer of my previous account. It was all very frustrating for me as I was looking forward to the move to Spectrum, the delay made me wonder if I was doing the right thing. The addition of a new physical SIM card caused delays that the agents couldn’t resolve. It was actually recommended that I would need to call Motorola support to resolve my issue! My son was able the issue for me. Unfortunately my wife is experiencing an issue that is delaying her transfer. Frustrating.

    I was helped by representative that was inside the Walmart store that promised me whatever I was currently paying with T-Mobile was going to be lowered. I went ahead and left T-Mobile from being with them for 11 years and transferred my services over to Spectrum. I received my first statement and it is not the rate that he promised me. I contacted spectrum through chat. They advised me to call. I call and speak with the specialist. They transferred me to another department After a 55 minute phone call with every representative. I spoke to with spectrum. They were unable to help me because it simply was a conversation between you and the representative and it was not recorded so we don’t believe you is basically what they told me. I did not get the rate that I was promised and now I regret ever leaving T-Mobile and going with this company that doesn’t help their new customers.

    There was a little bit of confusion activating my phone with an esim. That's okay, but the reason for the low rating is the way I was treated when I went to the Spectrum store for help. One of the employees threaten to call the police and have me arrested for trespassing. He was rude and unprofessional, and I was absolutely shocked and disgusted by the way I was treated. He also refused to provide me with his name. The store was in Elyria on Chestnut Commons. Luckily, the manager Kat came out and was able to help me find a solution to my issue.

    As a new customer of Spectrum internet I have found they keep their word regarding promotions and billing. The fiber internet service is adequate but at times slower than I expected, however I did agree to the lower plan to keep costs down. I have only just joined Spectrum Mobile (Jan 2026) and was delighted with the rep I spoke with to set up the program with easily affordable promotions. Physically transferring my mobile device in person at a store was exhausting but might have been due to my particular circumstances. The only thing I do NOT like about the mobile plan is auto billing in case of an error in billing with a horrendous amount that could affect my finances detrimentally. Overall so far I am satisfied with Spectrum representatives and service. :)

    For many months I was so unhappy with Frontier as my internet carrier. I went to Spectrum to try and so far so good. I am content with this new service. My thanks to JJ at Spectrum. I had been telling my previous carrier that if they didn't fix the problem, I would find another. They did not fix, so I changed my carrier to Spectrum.

    I used the Mint plan before switching to Spectrum and was paying almost $200 a year for great service. Even with the offer of a free year, I was hesitant about the quality I’d get, worried about dropped calls, dead spots, weak signals, or poor coverage. But since activating, I’ve been pretty happy—Fiber optic internet for streaming, better pricing than Starlink, and excellent cellular service. I saw a commercial offering free cell service if you switch over 4 lines, which sounds perfect for a family of 4 or more. I’ll see what it costs after my free year ends. I don’t have 4 lines to move, so I won’t get the free deal, but I’m hoping for a great offer to stay; otherwise, I’ll go back to my old service.

    Mother dropped phone crossing street. Discovered it missing, backtracked and found it had been run over. Went to Spectrum for a check and was told the phone was destroyed and she had to buy a new one. Full price charged. Phone number could not be transferred. Guess the sales guy is more interested in a commision than looking for the best solution for the customer. Going to cancel that service and go to another carrier and get her number transferred to the damn phone that Spectrum told her to buy.

    Absolutely awful experience! Over 6 hours in the store with a scheduled appointment. Every representative said something completely different. After two hours and 4 associates later, they put in a help ticket and had to call their higher-ups for help.

    Stay away from Spectrum. I paid off my balance, closed my account in person, and received a receipt confirming the cancellation and a zero balance. Six months later, they contacted me claiming I didn’t cancel properly and that I owed another month. That is completely false. They also tried charging me for additional equipment that had already been returned and cleared. I had to argue with multiple agents before they finally admitted it was their mistake.

    For years, Spectrum randomly increased my monthly bill without any notice. Every time I called, they would offer credits but only for the last two billing cycles, even though the overcharging had been happening much longer. I had no choice but to deal with this until another provider became available. On top of the billing issues, Spectrum had constant outages and my monthly payment was never consistent. Since switching providers, I have faster internet, stable pricing, and no outages. Overall, terrible billing practices and poor service. Avoid Spectrum.

    The customer service that I received deserves to be shared because I have not ever experienced anything like it. If I could give them more than 5 stars I would because I spoke to multiple reps (due to my own error) and every single one of them was so helpful and kind!     Great savings in mobile service and internet. The other companies are simply too expensive, and the Spectrum service is second to none. I don't really mind that my upload speed is slower than my download speed because uploading is not as important. The reps are really helpful too.

    While the services are fine, they have too high pricing due to lack of competition. This is more of a review of the general climate of the cable/internet provider market but for what Spectrum itself does. They aren't that bad but can have issues with stability often in my area.

    Awful service at the store on Third Avenue in Manhattan, NY. Agents take advantage of seniors with tech speak who are not tech savvy and will try to sign you up for their free mobile phone or free line that you do not even have to use or you can give it to someone else. My neighbor tried that and she was subsequently billed for 12 months of service that was supposed to be free.

    The reason I got internet with Spectrum is a rep came to my house with his spiel. The cost was less than I was already paying and the rep said I would have a 30-day free trial. He said this at least 4 times. I switched, later to find that the rep LIED TO ME about the free trial. When I called spectrum to discuss THE LIE, nobody would address it. They only said they didn't give a 30-day free trial. Never did anybody express dismay that I had been LIED to.

    Recently, when I went to take advantage of the offer spectrum was giving me for mobile service, I was LIED TO AGAIN when the in-store rep said the phone I wanted to use was unlocked. I wasn't ready yet to switch but when I went back 2 weeks later to actually make the switch, the gal said I couldn't use the phone because it was locked. This caused me to be WITHOUT phone service for more than a day and a half. The only reason I went ahead with the sign-up was it's the least expensive internet service I could find. If I find a less expensive service, I'll switch.

    Horrid coverage. If I'm late for payment they disconnect immediately however since living in Chatsworth CA half the time no tv no streaming or wifi we have to call in for them to reboot or send someone. Example today I called 3 times still no tv or wifi. It's as if one wind sends their outdated modems and routers out of whack. I had to spend 200 on mesh to cover my house. It's horrid.

    I got my business mobile line connected in minutes in my own device. First year is free! I use it as my second line in my current device. So now I can have my personal line and business line in the same device totally independent. My phone is able to let me know from what number I’m receiving calls and also I can choose what line to call from. Isn’t it amazing?

    The service is great, the customer service was good, but the wait is very long, almost 3 hours to transfer an account from another provider, it doesn't make sense. They didn't have the phone I wanted, so I had to look for another option. I hope they improve.

    I went to the store on Woodruff Rd for setting up a new phone including a number transfer. ** was very proficient in setting up the new phone in a nominal amount of time. ** easily transferred my existing phone number from a competitor, transferred all data from my old phone and set-up my new phone. He was very casual and did not rush the process. He also helped another technician while working with me.

    Dvr stopped working. Made an appointment. An hour in the office. Xumo box provided does not record. Another appointment. Been waiting in this understaffed, inefficient place for a half hour after appt time waiting to tell someone and hopefully get a resolution. Called customer service last night who told me, after a long wait for someone to answer, that xumo boxes are basically fire sticks, they don't record. Nobody here knows what they are doing

    I had asked specifically about International calling plan and was told it’s free calls, free texting, and free data. That’s the reason was The only reason I switched. False information was provided by the Spectrum representative. I would have not switched if was given correct information. When afterwards I checked more details found out calls are not free.

    Changing to Spectrum mobile was very easy and bringing my number and device was simple. The service/signal of spectrum mobile is terrible. I got 0 signal at my home and 1 bar if I was lucky at work! There are far better plans with much better service available.

    I am not familiar with current technology phone, Internet etc. Tim in Orange MA explained everything. He helped me port from AT&T and explained in a way I could understand everything. He took time, was very pleasant and people were waiting for him to help them. I walked right in the store, no appointment. There were two other people offering assistance when I went in store. Nice job everyone! Should have done this a long time ago.

    We have had Spectrum Services since they took over Charter Communications in 2020. Our home phone started to have problems before Christmas 2025; used on-line troubleshooting 3 times; tech came out Dec. 20; referred to engineers. No call back for status. Called three times to have disconnected; couldn't get to rep. Jan 6 spoke with rep. Angi. Told her repeatedly just wanted to disconnect. She went over sales pitch over and over. After about 20 minutes requested a Supv. Angi put me on hold for several minutes and said no Supv. available. She never disconnected the phone service. Very poor customer service.

    We were at a Spectrum store to get the promotion deal I received from the email. It includes 1000mb and two mobile phones. Somehow the agent could not transfer all the 5 phones we have so he did in two different orders. And for whatever reason, he can only activate the first order for 4 phones but not the other one. We were assured that the last one would be activated no more than 48 hours. But It has been 4 days now, the last one still not been activated and I had to call two times still not resolved yet. Terrible service, I would not recommend it.

    Their sales representatives will mislead you and give you false information to try and get you to switch providers. I was promised a cheaper mobile plan when bundling internet and a buyout when switching from my previous provider. Neither was honored when I finally made the switch. I was told by one of their supervisors after being transferred through different departments that the sales rep misspoke, that they would not honor any of it. I even requested that they look back on the recorded call, but all they offered me was to downgrade my phone plans to meet the desired monthly payment.

    In New York, Spectrum has the best customer service. After the technician changed the internet modem, I no longer have the annoying buffering issues. I like the convenient My Spectrum App. My mobile phone works better than before. I also like the visual voicemail feature. High speed internet and mobile phone service is very important to keep my small business running smoothly and efficiently. I was very impressed by Spectrum.

    Spectrum starts out at a decent price but escalates beyond expectations. I had to leave for a few months and come back to get lower rates. The internet is spotty and not very good. They only have the cheap xumo boxes they probably pay a dollar for. On 2 tvs I had 5 take a dump within 1 year and now they want to charge $65 for a house call that used to be free. The instructions to get it set up AGAIN is ridiculous. Can anyone recommend a real provider?

    We visited our local Spectrum store to cancel our tv plan and to only keep the internet portion of our plan. We expected some resistance. Instead, the young woman who assisted us was very pleasant and accommodating. As we were finishing the cancellation and turning in of our old equipment, she casually asked if we might be interested in some of the newer packages. We inquired and there was a package that seemed to meet our needs (we have to be able to watch the Dodgers games and this package included Dodgers Sports Net West which carries all home and away games).

    As we were completing the sign up process, our rep then casually asked about our mobile phones. She was speaking to only my husband at the time and he could not believe his ears. He called me over and she explained that as Spectrum customers we could get two mobile lines, keeping our phones and our phone numbers, with unlimited talk, text and data for $30/mo. FOR BOTH PHONES! We were gobsmacked. We had been paying Verizon almost $150/mo. I hope this deal turn out to be as good as it sounded. It's been two days and so far we have had no issues and do not even notice that we have changed carriers.

    When I first talked to him they called me a price of $93 and some change to get the phone shipped. I lost the connection to the call. I called back and then it was $103 and change to get the phone and everything shipped out according to them. They said that every time that they do anything and that it has a different amount change.

    Spectrum internet service at my location in Central Florida slows and buffers several times daily. I'm required to use my cell phone hot spot, burning data and exhausting battery.     I went elsewhere at first and had the worst experience (Ve...on). Since I already had Spectrum cable internet and wifi, I went there. The entire staff was friendly and really put us in phones that suit us, including budget. On 1 phone, the first year is free. It's really a great phone at a very doable price.     Activation of my iPhone 8 with physical sim card was done by Spectrum technical support person whom he was knowledgeable. Friendly. Patient.     Is trying to bill me for tv service I didn’t sign for. The service person said I called in foe tv service at $100.dollards I don’t ever want. They did this same charge one year ago after hours on the phone. They said I would be credited to my account but it took several months and more phone calls this time. They said no I called their service and ordered TV. But I told them I did not. There’s no one else in my house that could order TV service. They said yes there is. I said no. I spoke with many many representatives each saying you are a 12 year person signed up for Internet. That’s unusual. I told them if they start billing me $100 for a service I don’t use I will no longer be one of their people to accept Internet from their service.

    I was a current Spectrum customer, I called to upgrade my wifi service since my children got gaming systems for Christmas and wifi was as running slow. The agent actually took time to bundle anything he could to save me money, I ended up getting a way better deal with internet, home phone and 2 brand new mobile lines with new phones for way cheaper than I had been paying. This agent even waived the express delivery fee for our new phones. Whoever I spoke to was everything you'd want in a customer service representative, kind, courteous, down to earth and really cared about the customer. I wish I could remember his name because that individual deserves recognition. Would gladly deal with him anytime.

    After getting a transfer code from our previous carrier I logged on to the Spectrum site and had the instructions included in the box with the new phone. I answered the questions and input the requested information and in less than ten minutes I received notice that the transfer was successful.     All I can say is a great big thanks to Tampa store specialist Terri **. I broke my Spectrum phone on Christmas Eve and had to wait till December 26th to get a new one.     I am a Verizon customer and have been for many years. Since Spectrum is my internet and TV provider, I had contemplated switching over to their mobile service as well several times. Coverage was always the reason for my hesitation because I do a lot of business travel. This Christmas, I decided to buy new phone for myself and give my old phone to my son. Since Spectrum offered free phone service on one line for a year, it was the perfect opportunity to try it out.     Quality of carrier network service is very poor and they are antiquated forcing physical sim activation. Limiting your customers to only physical sim card activations does not allow them the freedom to use their primary carrier, Spectrum and use a prepaid when traveling Internationally for local calls.

    I would submit a 0 if possible. Their internet service is intermittent and the wi fi unreliable, with lots of outages. To make it worse, their technicians show up well after the scheduled appointment with customer service. Today it was supposed to be between 12 and 1 and then the text message and emails said 1-2. Also today, a tech showed up but could not read the house numbers and said we were not at home and consequently did nothing. Abysmal service and very high prices. Do not use them if you have another alternative.

I am so thankful that I am leaving because wow over 50 outages in one year and that's just after I started counting, unbelievable. How are you guys even in business? He was an hour and 40 minutes late outside of the hour window I was told he would come. He found the problem inside; however, the outside is still not repaired.

    Spectrum TV and Internet have been incredibly unreliable. Every couple of months there’s a major outage that lasts anywhere from 6 to 12 hours, sometimes longer. This isn’t a rare issue — it’s a pattern. When the service goes down, there’s little communication, vague explanations, and no real accountability. For something that’s essential for school, work, and daily life, this level of unreliability is unacceptable. You’re paying premium prices for a service that can’t consistently stay online. I would not recommend Spectrum to anyone who needs dependable internet or TV.

    I tried numerous times as a long-term, Spectrum Customer to get a lower mobile rate and I was just told that any new deals were for new customers only. Finally, I was able to find a great deal at Verizon and decided to transfer my service. We spent five hours at Verizon on Saturday because Spectrum refused to provide transfer PINs and deactivate my account in order for me to retain my phone number. While I was at Verizon, Jane at Spectrum kept me on the phone for over one hour asking me all kinds of inane questions such as what was I doing for Christmas and what books do I read. I asked her to please stop asking me questions and just take care of the transfer PIN and she said she had to follow her protocol. Finally, she said she would provide me with the PIN and then she hung up on me.

    It has now been four days and I’m still having issues with Spectrum transferring my phone number. Today is the last day for them to do it because they will then charge me for a new billing cycle which I think is their motive for delaying my termination of service. This is an incredibly frustrating experience and I definitely do not recommend Spectrum. Furthermore, refusing to transfer. My phone number is illegal.

    I have had this service for 2 months. I have had tech come to my property 3 different times. They checked everything, my coax and tried blaming it on wiring to find the tap being bad and they still haven't fixed it, I am on a 2 GB plan and I haven't even gotten a gig upload. It will give me 30 never even 100 upload, my address that I am at only has Spectrum service lines, I am furious, they go, "Well your PlayStation speed test is inaccurate," really because I had go net speed at my prior address and they were giving me a gig download and upload, I would steer clear of this company. They are a bunch of liars. I ran speed tests with other devices and software and it says the same thing. Spectrum lies and says it looks good on their end. Terrible company.

    I have had several issues with Spectrum. While their reps can be nice, their service is not worth the price, and they often do not resolve issues. I tried 6 times to resolve an issue that I had with my account, both by calling and going into the office. The issue was never resolved. I then discuss it with another manager (for the 7th time), and they said they would try to resolve it, but it would take 30-60 days for the system to flush out the old information before we might even notice a change or correction!!!

    Workers have also come out to work on an outage issues a few times (which was not affecting my residence), and then ended up messing up my service instead, creating a new outage. Then they always try to turn around and say that it's my equipment that needs to be changed, even though it was working just fine before their worker messed something up! I mention every time that my service and equipment was working just fine before they touched the lines, and they will insist it's not them and they can't seem to be able to grasp the concept and possibility that Spectrum and their workers did something wrong.

    I feel like Spectrum doesn't really give a crap about their customers. Just as long as they get money. I wish we could all have a decent internet company who gave a crap about providing great service, knew how to fix their issues and took pride in their workers not half-ass'ing their work. There is absolutely no accountability by these companies anymore these days. They would rather try to point the finger at their customer to try to convince them that the customer is imagining things and that their customer must have done something wrong, even though it's obvious that Spectrum screwed something up. I wish we had better options for Internet providers, but nobody seems to be able to live up to the task, so we continue with the same BS, no matter which provider you go with. Pretty sad to say the least.

    Buyer beware. The "unlimited" Spectrum mobile service is capped. It is capped at 50 for mobile data. And it is capped at 10 for mobile Hotspot. Plus, the service is terrible. I will be switching asap.

    We should be able to select 0 stars! Pure incompetence and fraudulent comes to mind first of all, they are only after your money and do not care about anything else! We had internet and phones with them, we sold our home and the buyer wanted to just take over the equipment and create his own account. We took the internet equipment back and kept our phones on our account, they continued to auto deduct payment for everthing including internet for 14 months, we didn't catch it as we figured we were all set, at this point I couldn't even access my account and didn't have access to the new owners account to stop this theft, but thankfully the new home owners were able to straighten that part out for me.

    But wait, there's more...We recently switched phone service providers, and go figure, I couldn't even access my "phone" account because the dumb asses at Spectrum also put our phones on the new home owners account even though they are still charging my bank account for the monthly total....what a frickin circus! I had to work the the new homeowner again to get a transfer code for the new phone service provider, this only came after demanding that I speak with a top supervisor, we switched over and surprise, surprise, they are still charging our account for the monthly phone service! BUYER BEWARE, stay as far away from this corrupt, thieving company! Lawsuit for massive aggravation anyone???

    Buyer Beware!. I would give them a zero if I could! They lied! On November 11, 2025, I called to inquire about adding cable to our already existing phone and internet plan. They quoted me for $215.86 to include the "tv select" plan, internet, and a 2 mobile phone service with taxes included. I confirmed the quote twice!!! When we received our first month bill... We got a bill for $215.86 AND a separate large bill for our phones! That is definitely NOT what I was quoted!!. I called today, and they refused to honor the quoted amount and now I am stuck with a much higher bill. Do not let them do this to you too!

    I am not sure where to begin, and honestly, I did not want to relive this experience at all. However, due to how severe and prolonged it became, it needs to be documented accurately. Attempting to set up mobile service took three days and an unreasonable number of phone calls with multiple representatives. Throughout the process, I received conflicting information, incomplete instructions, and was repeatedly transferred between departments that either did not understand the process or contradicted one another.

    The first representative, a sales agent, told me I only needed my Breezeline account number and transfer PIN to move my number and service. Based on that guidance, I called the next day to begin the transfer. The second representative told me that information was incorrect and that I had to wait until I received an activation email before anything could be done. Later that same day, I received an email but was unsure whether it was the correct one. I called again and spoke with a third representative. That call lasted approximately an hour and a half. While he was polite, he appeared unfamiliar with the process. I had my transfer PIN, account number, and IMEI readily available, yet he insisted he only needed the account number. I explicitly asked if the additional information was required and was told no. I was assured I would receive an email shortly with instructions. That email never arrived.

    The following day, I called again and was informed that my account was not active and therefore could not add mobile service. I was told I needed to submit a photo for verification, which had never been mentioned by any prior representative. After submitting the photo, I was told I needed to wait for approval. At that point, I explained that my transfer PIN was expiring that same day. I was essentially told that this was my problem and that I would need to obtain a new one. I contacted Breezeline and received a new transfer PIN in under five minutes.

    I then called back again and was told I still had to wait. At that point, I requested to cancel the process because I was completely exhausted by the repeated issues. I was transferred to the Customer Experience team. I spent nearly two hours on the phone with that representative while she contacted multiple departments to determine what had gone wrong. I was told the account needed to go through fraud verification and that all new mobile accounts are required to do this. If this is standard procedure, it is extremely concerning that no prior representative mentioned it or appeared to be aware of it.

    I was then told the original mobile setup had been done incorrectly and needed to be canceled entirely so the process could start over. After restarting, the account was flagged for fraud again. I was instructed to speak with the fraud department and then return to the retention department to finalize activation. When I was transferred to the fraud department, the representative immediately spoke to me in a dismissive and confrontational manner, as though I was an inconvenience rather than a customer trying to resolve an ongoing issue. I completed all verification steps required to prove that I was not a fraudulent customer.

    After verification, I asked to be transferred back to the retention department, as I had been explicitly instructed to do by the previous representative. She refused and stated that such a department did not exist. I explained that I had just been speaking with that department moments earlier. She dismissed this and stated that I was incorrect and that she would not transfer me there. I then asked who I would speak with if I wanted to cancel services. She responded by calling it a “stupid question” and said she would only transfer me if I intended to cancel. When I stated that I did not want to cancel and only wanted to return to the department that had been assisting me, she again refused.

    At that point, in order to be transferred at all, I stated that I wanted to cancel internet service. She responded by saying that if I canceled internet service, mobile service would not be activated, and then stated she would proceed with deactivating it anyway. When I questioned why she would do that, she stated that because she worked in the fraud department, she could do whatever she wanted. I then decided to ask to be transferred to the mobile department instead so the activation issue could be resolved. She refused and stated she was canceling my account. She claimed the cancellation had already been processed, said she was marking the account as fraud, and told me I would not be able to open an account again in the future. She then placed me on hold.

    After hanging up and calling back, I eventually reached the mobile department again. I explained everything that had happened and was transferred once more to Customer Experience, who still could not resolve the issue. Finally, I was transferred to another mobile representative who resolved the entire activation in less than five minutes. If I had been connected with a knowledgeable representative from the beginning, this entire situation would have been avoided. Instead, this process took three days, with the final day involving nearly four hours on the phone. This was the worst customer service experience I have ever had. While I ultimately received a ten dollar monthly discount on internet service, it does not come close to compensating for the time, stress, frustration, and unnecessary escalation I endured.

    Switching over to Spectrum Mobile from US Mobile was easy, fast and because I already pay for Spectrum internet, Spectrum Mobile unlimited 30GB data plan is free for 1 year. You can beat a lot of things, but you can't beat FREE!! The process was easy and straightforward. The instructions written so a child can understand them. It didn't take me 2 minutes from start to finish to do the actual provider switch once I had the number transfer information and the SIM card.     I called and ended service on the 5th of the month and that was the last day I was able to connect or use the service, yet they billed for the whole month. Even though they did not provide the service for that month, their policy is to charge for the whole month, so they want to charge for a service they did not provide. Crooks that's what they are. This is coming from a customer they had for 16 years. Reason I stop using them was regular increases in pricing.

    Great customer experience. I originally called to lower my home internet to save money. Spectrum was able to bundle my Internet and Mobile service for less than what I was paying for just my Mobile service with AT&T. I was able to keep the 1gig internet speed at a lower rate, plus activate 4 of my own mobile devices to Spectrum network. Cut my bill in half. WOW!!!!

    I have been a customer for 11 years. I have had my lines replaced, techs out here and called customer service to try and get my dodgy internet. I also asked for a deal like they offer new customers to switch. They said they were giving me all the discounts they could. I had a new provider stop by and said they provided fiber optic internet with a price lock. Of course I took it along with the $300 in gift cards. Had it switched, so much faster and my phone actually works.

    I went to cancel and the women, Lindsey, from Orlando, noticed my tenure. Mentioned it and asked if I had had people out and all that. "Well you can see that on your end and IDK why you're even asking. I'm not staying." She got an attitude with me when I said I dont have time to keep having techs out to my house for the dodgy internet and it never gets better. She then puts me on hold for 9 minutes and hangs up. Geez.. I wonder why I am leaving? Oh yeah, the service and the customer service. 🙄 I was there for 11 years and was rewarded nothing but a hang up. Just get the cheapest bill with the fastest company and save yourself some money and stress. They are all vultures.

    We were 18 year users of ATT mobile. Upon retirement, my corporate discount was to be eliminated. I entered local ATT office to start new 55+ discount. Was told my enrollment in ATT 55+ plan would not result in increases billing charges. Upon activation, the new plan increased my monthly billing over 40%!     Terrible service. I battled with them for months and had many service requests to fix the wifi issue, which was never fixed. I spent hours of my time dealing with them without a resolution. I finally cancelled and am so much happier. Go with a different provider. My service was meant to be turned off at the end of the day, but was turned off in the morning. When I called to have it turned back on, I was told the only way to do that was to open a new account. Even though I told them not to, she did it anyway, and I was charged an additional $30 that was never refunded. Three months later, endless harassing calls to pay them, even though I was told I wouldn’t owe anymore money. I finally paid to get them to stop and filed a dispute with the Better Business Bureau. Do not waste your time or money with them.

    Just filed a FCC. Reason: I am filing a formal complaint regarding Spectrum’s billing practices after I canceled my internet service. I was billed $50 instead of the $30 promotional rate I had been paying. Spectrum claims my promotion ended on November 24, however I was enrolled in automatic payments to ensure timely payment and was never clearly notified that my promotional rate was ending or that my bill would increase. I had been a loyal Spectrum customer for many years. When I called on December 4 to cancel my service, the representative aggressively attempted to retain me and stated that I still had a $30 promotion available. He even offered a better discount than the $30 rate to get me to stay. I declined only because the place I was moving to already had internet service in someone else’s name.

    After canceling, I later discovered my next bill had increased to $50. I was not provided a prorated credit, even though I was not going to use the remaining portion of the billing cycle. Had I stayed with Spectrum, I would have paid less and received prorated billing, which feels punitive for canceling service. I contacted Spectrum multiple times to resolve this issue and request a refund of the $20 overcharge, but all agents refused to assist. I ultimately spoke with a billing manager named Randall, who stated the bill was “final,” that there was “nothing worth looking into,” and dismissed my concerns as “hypothetical.” This interaction was unprofessional and dismissive. Spectrum’s actions feel deceptive and retaliatory toward a departing customer. I believe I was unfairly charged, inadequately notified of a rate increase, denied prorated billing, and misled by retention representatives.

    I am requesting:
    • A refund or credit of the $20 overcharge.
    • A review of Spectrum’s billing and cancellation practices.

    • Accountability for misleading retention statements and refusal to provide prorated billing.

    Just dropped off all of my equipment at a local Spectrum store and canceled my account after being a long time decade plus, probably multiple decade plus customer secondary to being fed up paying elevated prices and fees for subpar quality service. Was only getting 400 MB of Internet for $100 a charge of $100. To top everything off, I’m in the middle of a billing cycle. Only have used 13 days of my billing cycle have 18 more to go and they refuse to prorate my bill and expect me to pay the additional 18 days, the full bill.

    After decades and decades of paying them in large fees, they’re unwilling to work with the customer. This was explained rather rudely by the store staff that they “do not prorate“ as well as when I called the customer service number shortly after leaving the store and got the exact same explanation, Spectrum does not prorate. Do yourself a big favor and stay away from this company at all cost. You can get much better faster, higher quality service at a cheaper price almost anywhere. If I could give them zero stars or minus stars in terms of rating I absolutely would.

    Where to start. Worst customer no-service I’ve experienced (Lana in FL). Continual outages and/or buffering with no credit or consideration. Higher prices than competitors with substandard service. Long wait times for assistance (if you can get past the automated crap). Good luck if you want to disconnect and move to a different company. The long list of questions they ask when you tell them you want to terminate your service is intrusive, irrelevant, and solely meant to intimidate a customer into maintaining some sort of relationship to benefit Spectrum. If I could rate this company any lower, I would - they’ve lost this customer permanently.

    I’ve had Spectrum for 5 years for internet (500mb), the price was great for the first 2 as we didn’t need any high speeds for what we did at the house. Year 3 the price over doubled for the same speed, we had fiber optic come to the neighborhood and switched over. I called in to cancel Spectrum (can’t do it online), spent 20 minutes of them trying to get me to stay and finally got it canceled.

    When I went in to turn in the modem and router they tell me my account is still active and they can’t take the devices. I spent another 20 minutes of them trying to get me to stay, sell me extra services and pretty much saying my new services are going to charge me more with hidden fees and not be as good. They finally closed the account, should have been a 5 minute call, if they would have offered me free internet I still wouldn’t have stayed. So tired of companies trying to monopolize certain markets, if you have options of other services use them. I’d even choose dialup over spectrum.

    Today December 9th we experienced outages again with No internet or TV cable services. This occurs to often at least 1 day or more each month no service. Last month Sunday November 9th 2025 no service all day long. I was unable to monitor my home through my Google nest cameras which is a safety issue or enjoy any programs, nor football on television I'm so disappointed. I also work from home so this is a Big issue when I can't log in to work from home.     There is not a day that goes by that Spectrum screws up something. Sometimes multiple times a day. DVR doesn’t record, buffering, just sips in the middle of a show etc. etc. There is NO other streaming service that starts up like Spectrum. Checking your subscription, loading your videos etc. NO ONE DOES THIS EXCEPT Spectrum. Tonight was the icing on the cake. They shut down EIGHT HOURS for an upgrade. NO ONE Literally does this.

    I was charged $321 for a cell brand new cell phone I had for only a couple days that was in new condition. I was told it was scratched up. It was taken right out of my account. This phone was not scratched in any way. Please take photos of your phone before sending it back.

    Spectrum can burn in hell. I hate this company. If you can find an internet provider that has actual customer service, please do so. Their policies are designed to punish customers. If you are not paying attention, this company will take every dime from you and your internet is still bad. When their products fail, they don't pro-rate your services. But god forbid you do something wrong, they charge you a fee and there is no way to get out of it. What a terrible company.

    Unreliable, inconsistent, worse customer service. They don't care. They do not have market competition in this area. Hope Frontier arrives soon (previous customer in Tampa). Speed is mediocre, they only have a max of 1000 mbps here. Equipment is noise and bulky. These guys are the worse. I will pay only ten dollars for their service, instead I pay 80. If you have an outage, very common in this area, they will credit you two dollars, if more than two hours if it is less, no worries is your fault and you do not need credit. Insane, the government should take action. They put so many things in risk.

    Went to Best Buy. Bought an unlocked phone that they said works for Spectrum. Went to Spectrum and opened my phone in the parking lot. Went inside and was told that Verizon red flagged the phone even though I know 2 people who use the phone through Verizon. They told me I had to buy one of their crappy no memory (128gb) phones. So I did. Now I have to restart that same phone 20 to 30 times a day just so it will work for approximately 15 minutes at a time. Everyone says that they have the same great service as Verizon which is a lie. Now after leaving AT&T for crappy service I am really disappointed and should have NEVER left AT&T. I would rather pay more and actually have a phone then to be wanting to just throw my phone in the trash every day. Think I am going to go back to AT&T as soon as possible. Worst service in history for me. Nothing like Verizon or at&t. You pay for what you get I guess.

    I am taking all of my Spectrum equipment and turning it in tomorrow. I have been a faithful customer for years. I fell on to some hard times and needed to cancel my service for a while. They would not would not cancel my service. They harassed me for over an hour!!! I will never ever go with spectrum again. I found out that you can bypass that terrible experience if you just take your equipment to a spectrum store. Terrible terrible people!!

    I employed Spectrum around April of 2012. Phone, internet and cable cost me around $117.00 per month. Over the years my bill was raised (no surprise) but after a few years, I had to reduce my cable services because it was getting too expensive. I would call periodically, after another raise, and inquire as to how I could reduce my bill. The associate, more times than not, would offer additional services at a "special" price. More than once I had to remind them that I needed to reduce my bill and not add to it. But they just didn't get it.

    I have never made a late payment and stuck with Spectrum until I received three (3) raises in my bill this year alone (2025). I finally dropped Spectrum this past Summer. I talked to an associate on the phone and an associate in person and was told both times that I had a zero balance due. Fast forward to today (December 1st, 2025) and I received a message that I had a final monthly balance due of $317.81. I lost it. The service was ok all these years, but I had regular screen freezes, hesitations, and glitches over the years, not to mention the many, many times that my phone service was unavailable. Stay away from Spectrum. It's just not worth it. ** organization.

    I have been a Spectrum customer for 3 years. I am 70, and have health issues. My experience with customer service has shown me they have NO consideration for the elderly. My TV has been having "channel unavailable" 4-5 times a day. 15-30 minutes each time, for 14 days. My cable HBO still works. I was on the chat for almost an hour trying to fix problem. He was not able to do so and an appointment was scheduled. That was fine. From then it was downhill. First, he knew that I was elderly and that the TV and the computer I was working at were not in same room. I had to get up over a dozen times to go check on something for him. I guess I wasn't fast enough because I kept getting messages that the chat was going to be disconnected. Then when we set the appointment, he left the service worse than I started. He told me he didn't do anything and that I was basically lying or senile.

    I asked for a number to leave a complaint and he gave me an incorrect number for that. When I finally got customer service the man from Texas I got was worse. He basically said that Spectrum would never work to help the elderly, steps are the same for everyone (in my wheeling back and forth to two different rooms) and that because I am elderly I MUST wait for a technician to come. Yet continue to pay for a service I'm not getting. He said it's not Spectrum's fault that I am elderly and cannot follow their instructions fast enough. If the chat person that comes on is ALAN and you are 70 or older you are not welcome as a Spectrum customer.

    They kept raising bill, 12, 13, 20, 40 dollars. They just add items you didn't request. Service says, "Oh you need to check your bill and call within 30 days," BS. They say Spectrum TV you get free apps to download. Not true. You have to buy a bigger package and then they're included. Went to the 15 TV package and lost apps. So you really have to pay more to get them. There with SelectTV not Spectrum TV as they advertise. One of the most dishonest companies I ever worked with.

    I am writing about Spectrum mobile department. I will advise anyone who thinking about getting with this company's mobile service to think twice about doing so. I signed up for their mobile service, thinking I will get coverage in rural areas and such, but couldn't get any at all, which is why I returned the phone back before the 10 days they give you if you are not satisfied with the service. Keep in mind you will have to pay a restock fee if you still return the phone back opened even with no damage.

    Spectrum refunded me back the down payment for opening up the service once they received the phone and emailed that they have received the phone, they was gonna charge me the restock fee. A month later, they charged me $50.00 on Black Friday for the restock fee that they supposedly have taking out the same day they refunded me the down payment charge. I called about it to complain why did they charged me $50.00 when I no longer have mobile services with you plus that phone returned back to you all under 10 days. They said it was restock fees. Why wouldn't you take the $50.00 at the same day you refunded me the down payment?

    The answer the supervisor could tell me or whoever the lady was excuse was that they couldn't take out at the time. That is bogus, everything is on the same card. Then she did any other valid reason of why they would do such a thing. Very deceitful company. I also asked why no one have informed me that they couldn't get the restock money of my card at the same time they refunded me. Again no valid answer, but yet you can do it on Black Friday over a month of canceling mobile services with these people. Just an evil thing for these people to do. I told her that was my gas money to get back and forth to work with and you all wait till over a month to draft $50.00? Do not trust a company that will do deceitful practices like this.

    Spectrum is a Shady Greedy Absolutely HORRIBLE Company that eventually pulls the old bait & switch tactic on all their new customers, raising prices at the drop of a hat without any notice & never keeping their initial verbal agreement promises I paid for a 2 year package which included a free router, for a one set price, these scam artists only made it to the first year, when they decided to raise my bill & take away their initial promises, and start charging me more money. They don’t care about their customers, ONLY your MONEY… They make all kinds of promises when they want to sign you up, but buyer beware they will find a away to screw you over, they have Awful customer service, I have called multiple times to discuss my bill, & all I got is the runaround, last time I called, their customer solutions dept. kept putting me on hold to see what they could do to help me.

    I waited three hours on the phone with them, & all they told me in the end of the call is there was nothing they could do for me, they do not have any more deals to offer to me, why I had to be on the phone for 3 hours for nothing then, My problem at this point is still unresolved… The last supervisor from customer solutions dept. treated me like dirt, and literally argued with me for one hour, mocking me & yelling at me over the phone, then hanging up on me… I honestly tell you people to avoid this company because you will end up like me, & regret ever giving them your business & money… SPECTRUM DOES NOT CARE ABOUT THEIR CUSTOMERS, ONLY YOUR MONEY…

    I was a loyal customer for over 14 years. Yes, you read that right. 14 years. It wasn't that I was ever happy about having Spectrum, but they ran the gamut in my location unfortunately. Long story short. I paid $90/mo for YEARS. No offers, no discounts, etc. Called at random times throughout the years to get it lower, but they can't help, I am on the lowest plan, yadda, yadda, yadda. Mint Mobile hits the scene, and I decide to try them. Service is great, internet for what I need, without overpaying for what I don't. I call to cancel, and it was a 45-minute phone call, of guilt tripping, putting their competition down, etc. The guy offered to do this and that about 10 different times, and finally got to where they were willing to match Mint Mobile's price. I told him no, if Spectrum valued me as a customer, they would have offered their best price 35 minutes ago, and 14 years ago.

    If I have to call in every year to fight to keep my rate from going up, or If I have to threaten disconnecting service for the mere possibility of reducing or keeping my current rate, then the value isn't there for me. The reason I like Mint Mobile? No gimmicks, pricing stays the same, and reliable service. That is all most customers desire in any service they purchase. Spectrum could benefit from studying their competition. I will never go back.

    Our special rate was running out. I called THREE TIMES to see if they could do anything to extend it and was told flat-out "no" each time. So I set up with AT&T Internet and YouTube TV. Then when I called back to cancel, all of the sudden the CSR said he could keep the rate flat. I was on the phone for 45 minutes with this guy, telling him at least six times that I was done with them. But he would not give up. I was just about to ask for his supervisor when he finally did. The company and shareholders really need to review its business model and procedures.

    Where do I begin. With they high overrated, always going up on your price and never bettering they speed of services. How about they record everything you say when called g the customer service lines but dont have an record of what the representative said to you. To get out of the service contract is not an easy process at all and they say one thing like yes this is your final bill, there will not be any further charges unless you don't return the equipment. Only to get a surprise bill a month after you turned your services off and returned all equipment on time.

    The managers are just as useless as the representatives you talk to on the phone. They don't care anything about having loyal customers for over 10 yrs, 5 yrs, or 6 mo!! They are money hungry sucking company with poor services all around! If they knock on your door or send you a promotion flyer in the mail or you see an ad on TV, don't trust Spectrum! It doesn't matter how many times y'all change your name. You need to do better with your services and your contracts and look after the customers that keeps your company in business.

    Spectrum Mobile is a pathetic service provider as their sales people hides a lot of information at first and trying to fool you by giving lot of offers but when you use the service .. all your call drops will happen regularly and you will lose trust with your customers and when you will complain then no resolution will given. However if you plan to leave and transfer to other provider then after transferred they charges you about contract breaks cost and trying to get a money from you.     Spectrum takes customer service to new lows. When I tried to talk to them about changing my service the chat people would not talk to me because I could not give them a supposed Spectrum pin that I did not know and as far as I know I never received. If I had I would have had it on an accounts spreadsheet. When I wanted to close my account and return my equipment I was told that I had to go to a Spectrum store to do it.

    Spectrum closed their stores in more populated Ocala and the nearest one was 25 miles away in smaller Wildwood. Not knowing that there were TWO County Roads 466 in Sumpter County I could not find the store. When I called the store for directions I got some corporate office that could not call the store. On my way home I saw a Spectrum service truck. The tech could not take the equipment but put the address into my phone, Then Spectrum wants me to pay for a month service when I only had it for 14 days because of some agreement from over ten years ago.

    They'll raise your price 30 dollars every 3 months without even telling you. My internet went from $30/month to $128/month. For internet that doesn't even work 70% of the time. When you call to cancel they'll keep on the phone for an hour with their sales pitch trying to get you to keep the service. He admitted they were over charging me and offered to refund part of $128/month but only if I keep their service. Super shady business practices, sky high prices and unreliable internet. Just get google fiber.

    I called to transfer services from our old address to new address in June. We had an agreed-upon end date for the old address and agreed upon installation date for the new address. Ever since we moved in we have had Internet outage connection issues with our neighborhood for every 6 to 8 weeks in November. We had personal issues with our Internet, where we cannot get anything to connect after talking to two customer representatives, they said on their end, everything looked like it was connected fine, even though we cannot get anything to connect even via ethernet come to find out, even though they canceled our old account number they were still charging us for our old address and our new address. Now they claim that we did not close our account and we need to open a dispute with the company. The customer service is horrible. I’m not sure how else you would cancel the service besides transferring it in the manner that I did. We will be canceling and spreading the word of how negative experience has been.

    I discontinued my service and paid my LAST bill on the 11th of July, returned their equipment and asked that my service be discontinued. My billing cycle ends on the 13th. They took my money, their equipment. Now they are asking me to pay an extra month because they posted the payment to their record after the 13th. I have made three calls trying to explain that I could not use their services if not connected to their network anymore. The only thing they all say is "We do not prorate." I am not asking for a favor. I no longer had their services nor equipment. What are they prorating? Am I the only one having this problem? Someone should look into this for the elderly and others.

    Regarding Spectrum mobile, NEVER buy a phone from them. It had issues within a few months. Returned it was sent a new one. Then they charged me for the new phone. I had to call several times. First I was told I sent it back after the return time frame (it was not a return, but a warranty exchange.) Then it was that I should have sent it to Samsung directly (Spectrum's rep told me to send it back and sent me the new on). Then I called again and got a manager. Now they are saying I sent in a D grade damaged phone. It was not damaged, but had barely been used and kept in a case. They will be sending me the "pictures" of why they graded it low. But I was told I can not dispute it and nothing can be done. So I have a working phone and a non working phone that I paid a total of $400 for. NEVER AGAIN.

    Be very careful with this company... They don't back up their services. Once you sign a contract whether or not they get your services working for you, there will be no way to get out without a early termination payment of 3 year contract. In our case they want over $10,000 even though the services never worked and I canceled within 30 day warranty window.

    Zero stars. Installer put dozens of screws in my cement block foundation, holes in my siding and 60 ft of thick black wires on my newly painted white house. The house is small, only 1200 SF. After I canceled their overpriced $140/mo service they refused to remove it and repair damage. I shall report this company to other review sites and send complaints to federal agencies. This is a simple request after paying THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS to a company that fails to deliver customer service. Temporary vacation holds were a joke. Phone service outside the country didn't work. You will always pay more than you expected to pay. Remember, "It's a subscription!" Avoid this company.

    I am sorry to say but my spouse and I have had a horrible experience with Spectrum. My spouse had been a spectrum customer for over 20 years. We were doing a reno of our home and moved into an apartment for 6 months. After moving into the apartment we had such a difficult experience that my spouse stopped the services at our home completely. We decided to go ahead with spectrum at the apartment as it was going to be short term. When I went in and cancelled the services we got a bill charged to our credit card for the full amount and it should have been prorated as we stopped services and shouldn't have been charged for 7 days as I had returned all the equipment (What they don't tell you returning the equipment you will have to go to a UPS store. Thankfully there was one in the same area as the spectrum store). We will NEVER use spectrum again. They are the WORST!! BEWARE!!

    We had an older router and it quit on a Saturday. We did all the troubleshooting possible. No go. They sent a tech out Sunday (arrived an hour early). Very thorough. Checked everything. 30 minutes later mission complete. New router with previous network settings fully operational. Connor was his name. Super smart. Efficient. We ❤️ Spectrum.

    Don't get Spectrum if you plan to have multiple people pay for wifi. For a while had multiple people pay their share of wifi for the apartment, with no problems while they were in house. A few months AFTER they left they charged back their old payments. Spectrum, doing nothing to protect account holders, has now saddled me with all the payments that were charged back. Genuinely horrific, and spectrum customer support just kinda said "not our problem". This combined with weekly wifi outages, yeah Literally ANY other service is better.

    Where to even begin. I've been a Spectrum customer for about 7 years, and I had never, NEVER had any issues till the past year. I upgraded my mobile service to be able to upgrade my phone whenever I want as they advertise. But when I went to upgrade my phone, it turned out that the person who created my account entered my SSN wrong. So I spent a year trying to fix the issue with them. Then! After I was able to get ahold of someone who could help me with the upgrade, I was finally able to upgrade my phone. HOWEVER! I was told I had a 14 day period that if I didnt like the phone I could trade it in. So, before the 14 days I called to upgrade, SAME ISSUE. They had to put in ticket after ticket. By the time someone got to me, it passed the 14 days. SHOCKER. Then they kept saying there was an issue with SSN again.

    Another 3 months trying to fix it. I was told it was fixed. So when I attempted again to upgrade, I was told my anytime upgrade wasn't available. Then someone else told me on my SSN was on a block list. Never herd of that before and the agents couldn't explain why either. Kept giving me the rub around, did everything they asked, for them to tell me they couldn't do anything. So, moral of the story. They are false advertising the anytime upgrade. They enable it if you upgrade once, and if you keep trying to use a service you're PAYING for, they add you to a block list which prevents you from upgrading. Bravo spectrum. What a scam you have become. My bf ended up taking over my account to see if he could upgrade since it'll be a new SSN but NOPE! SURPRISE!

    Spectrum comes out with excuses to not upgrade, now its not the SSN, now it's the financing part. Even tho they keep telling you you can upgrade WHENEVER, HOW MANY TIMES YOU WANT, TO WHATEVER PHONE YOU WANT. And you pay for all of this just so they can come back and give you BS excuses to block you from using a service you're paying for. DO NOT USE SPECTRUM. THEY ARE A SCAM. They also cut your discounts if you move somewhere they don't service. And your bill goes up.

    Awful customer service and treatment! I recently moved to Spectrum and I STRONGLY regret it. They play with your time and feeling and nobody is on the same page! If you thinking about moving to spectrum DON'T!

    Several years ago I signed up for the Spectrum cable and Internet offer with the total being a little over $100, for both. My current bill is over $170 and I have the basic plan for cable and Internet. I purchased their Xumo box instead of renting their cable box, which brought my bill down for a month and then it went back up. Their rates are far too high and I am buying my own router and modem with the next step being a change in provider. I gave them 2 stars because their service is good, both internet and cable and their customer service is typical of the times, so if you must contact them, do not expect abortion average service.
