What is Navi Auto Transport?

Navi Auto Transport is an automobile transportation broker that provides open and closed-trailer auto shipping services across the United States. Led by founder Ivan Karakostov, Navi Auto Transport is a family-owned business incorporated in Delaware and headquartered in Brookfield, Wisconsin. Free, no-obligation quotes are available online, with no upfront payment required.

Navi Auto Transport is fully licensed by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

How does Navi Auto Transport work?

Navi Auto Transport works in three steps:

  1. Get a free quote and book shipping
  2. Vehicle pick up by vetted transport company
  3. Delivery and vehicle inspection

To request a quote, you’ll need to provide details about your vehicle’s make, model and condition, along with your desired pickup and delivery locations.

Navi Auto Transport offers open and enclosed transport options. Open transport is when the vehicle is shipped in an open-air trailer. Enclosed transport is shipped in an enclosed truck, which offers more protection from weather and road debris.

Once you’ve agreed to the price and service, Navi Auto Transport finalizes the booking. There is no upfront payment required, meaning that you don’t pay until your carrier is confirmed. Once the carrier has been assigned and dispatched, you have two payment options:

  • Pay the full amount of your bill by credit or debit card.
  • Pay a booking deposit (also known as a broker fee), with the remaining balance due as cash on delivery.

You can pay the deposit — typically 10% to 20% — by credit or debit card, ACH, bank transfer, PayPal or Zelle. You can’t use a credit card for the balance on delivery, but depending on your carrier you may be able to pay by any other method accepted for the deposit, along with cash, money order, certified check or cashier’s check.

Navi Auto Transport shipping options

Navi Auto Transport offers two auto shipping options.

  • Open car transport: Because of its efficiency in shipping multiple vehicles at a time, open car transport costs less than enclosed transport.
  • Enclosed auto transport: Vehicles are shipped inside a fully enclosed trailer, which makes this option more expensive than open transport.

Navi Auto Transport additional services

Navi Auto Transport offers additional services beyond open and enclosed shipping. These include:

  • Expedited shipping
  • Door-to-door service
  • Terminal-to-terminal shipping
  • Commercial vehicle transport
  • Motorcycle and heavy equipment transport

Navi Auto Transport touts its real-time GPS tracking tool, Navi Track 360, as a reliable way to monitor your shipment and contact your driver directly. Note that GPS tracking may be limited by location or carrier technology, meaning that sometimes you might see a generic in transit status rather than a precise location.

Navi Auto Transport costs

Navi Auto Transport provides transparent pricing online for open and enclosed trailer shipping options. Quotes are based on mileage, vehicle type and service level.  Customers can pay in full after their carrier is dispatched, or pay a broker fee at this time and the remainder in cash on delivery.

As with many brokers, Navi Auto Transport provides non-guaranteed quotes. This means that the initial quoted price, pickup window and delivery date may need to be adjusted if carrier availability or route conditions change. It’s not uncommon to experience delivery delays or price increases after booking with any auto shipping company.

Navi Auto Transport customers can take advantage of several discounts, including a college student discount, a military discount and a multi-vehicle shipping discount. There’s no senior discount per se, but the company does offer a seasonal “snowbird” discount for round-trip bookings. Cash payment may get you a lower price with some carriers.

We had to ship both our family SUV from Atlanta during a chaotic corporate relocation. I was terrified of something going wrong or our vehicle getting stranded across the country. From the initial phone call, the coordinator made me feel at ease. They took the time to explain the logistics, how the dispatcher assigns the route, and what to expect on the bills of lading. They managed to get the car loaded onto the multi-car open carrier. The pricing was completely transparent not a single surprise fee at delivery. This company made a incredibly stressful move so much easier.

I was incredibly nervous about shipping my Honda Civic from Boston to San Diego since I’ve never done this before. I spoke with Sarah on the support team, and she walked me through the entire process, explaining how brokers match jobs with carriers. The quote they gave me was right in the middle of what others were offering, but they promised no hidden fees—and they kept that promise. The driver called me 24 hours before pickup and arrived exactly on time. He did a thorough walk-around inspection and loaded it safely onto the open trailer. The car actually arrived in California a day earlier than expected!

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an excellent experience with this Navi Auto Transport! Everything went exactly as promised. From the beginning, communication was professional, the pricing and terms were honored without any surprises, and my vehicle was transported safely and arrived in perfect condition. To top it off, my car was delivered one day earlier than the promised delivery date, which exceeded my expectations.

If I had one suggestion for improvement, it would be the in-transit GPS tracking system. The location updates weren’t always as accurate or consistent as I expected, so there’s definitely room for improvement there. However, this was a minor issue and didn’t take away from an otherwise outstanding experience. Overall, the entire process was smooth, stress-free, and exactly as advertised. My car arrived safely, every commitment was met, and I wouldn’t hesitate to use this company again or recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy vehicle transport service.

I mainly chose Navi because I didn’t want to put extra miles on my car driving across states. What stood out to me was how calm the process felt after scheduling everything. Nobody was rushing me or making unrealistic promises. Pick up shifted slightly but it wasn’t treated like a disaster, just part of how transport works. Delivery came without damage and the driver even gave me a heads up before arriving which I appreciated.

I arranged transport with Navi while trying to juggle work and a move at the same time, so I honestly didn’t have the energy to deal with constant problems. What I appreciated was that once the booking was confirmed, things mostly handled themselves. Pickup didn’t happen exactly when I first imagined, but they explained the timing clearly enough beforehand. The driver called before arriving, and the inspection process didn’t feel rushed. Delivery came through without any issues and the car looked exactly the same.

Navi is a broker; they lie to you about the total cost; they start out low price to draw you in; Navi then shops around for a transporter for your car; they increase the cost by two hundred more blaming the high cost on gas prices; you are then sent a new contract to sign. The transporter shows up - can’t speak English, no paperwork and the driver asks for your keys; you have your speak to someone on the call desk. She cannot speak English; after resolving this they guarantee the car will be delivered by 3 am and Zelle the money; the car never arrived at 3 am as promised; I call at 730 to find out the status; the tracker from the website does not work; the dispatcher say the driver's truck broke down; she stated he will arrive today. I said what time. The dispatcher said 5 pm with an attitude. Navi is a nightmare and the dispatcher for the transporter. Run, I believe they are all the same.

Not having dealt with vehicle transport companies in the past, I don't know if Navi is the worst. But I cannot imagine a more ineptly run operation unless an outright scam to steal money. Not sure yet if they are running a scam. "Guaranteed" pick-up by July 30 contracted on July 22 for shipment cross country; Maryland to California. No show on 30th. Telephone rep promised replacement carrier by next day. This has repeated almost daily ever since. It is now August 17. The vehicle remains in the same place. They've charged $174 on our credit card - so far! Today I sent a cancellation e-mail per their contract, demanded a refund, and let them know we will bill them for any additional costs we incur due to their contract breach. I'll update this if we get a refund - or if not! Stay away from them!

This is the worst transport company ever! They quoted our business a price to pick up a vehicle from Pennsylvanian to drop it off in Rhode Island. Was told it would take 3-5 business days to assign a carrier and each carrier that was assigned magically canceled each time. We explain the vehicle had to be picked up for a specific date and the assured me it will. Next they tell us we have to pay 100$ more than the original quote price because their estimate was incorrect for the travel expense. We agreed to the new price if they were going to guarantee the vehicle was going to get picked up.

They assured me the vehicle was going to get picked up July 24th 2026. I received an email that the carrier canceled at 3:50pm on July 24th, 2026 when I called their customer service agent told me the carrier canceled because their truck broke down and wouldn't be able to pick up the vehicle and that they will have another carrier pick it up and they will give me a call as soon as possible. I explained that the auction closed at 4:30pm and they are closed Saturday. I never received a called back, and when I called back they were not answering because they were "closed".

I called early Saturday morning on July 25th, 2026 to canceled the whole order because they were giving me the runaround. Already by this time it was already 3-4 carriers that had "canceled". When I called to cancel they assured me that were will get a full refund due to them not being able to find a carrier at the appropriate time. We had to take the trip ourselves early Monday morning to pick up the vehicle.

Now almost 3 weeks later they tell me they are charging a cancelation fee, first it was because we stated the vehicle was run and drive and it wasn't (which it was because I sent them the proof). Once they received the proof next it was because there was an assigned carrier and we canceled so the carrier lost a spot on their truck so that's why they are charging a cancellation fee. Then I show them proof again on how there was no carrier because they canceled due to "their truck breaking down". I told them go listen to the call recording and you will see that what the agent told me. Now the new excuses is the car needed a jump start so it was not run and drive, when I explained that is not true because how would they know if NO ONE went to pick up the vehicle and when we went to pick it up we had no problem loading it up and turning it on.

They are scammers and I would never recommend this company not even to my worst enemy. I have dealt with other transporter and never had an experience like this. Please be careful booking with this company. They will force you to cancel the booking just to charge you a cancelation fee and not complete your order. They gave every excuse and lie to cover the reason for the cancelation fee but when presented facts still try to come up with another excuse.

I would not recommend NAVI Transportation. The delays were frustrating, but what made this experience truly unacceptable was the way NAVI and its contracted carrier handled those delays. My vehicle was supposed to be picked up July 31 and ultimately was not picked up until August 2. The delivery was also repeatedly pushed back, and I was given conflicting information about when my vehicle would actually arrive, continually being told it would be in Illinois that day or the next when I could see the car was in New Mexico.

The biggest issue was not simply that the dates changed. I understand that transportation schedules can be estimates. The problem was that I was repeatedly told the vehicle would arrive the following day, only to find out that it would not. Had they simply been honest about the delays and provided a realistic timeline, I could have planned accordingly and avoided additional rental expenses and significant disruption to my family. The lack of communication was extremely frustrating. I repeatedly had to call NAVI and their carrier just to get basic information about where my vehicle was and when I could expect it.

The delivery itself created another unnecessary problem. I was not informed in advance about the driver's payment requirements. I knew I could use Zelle, Cash App, and possible Venmo, but my driver only took Zelle. When Zelle would not allow me to transfer the full balance, I was left trying to figure out how to pay on a Saturday evening. Cash and a cashier's check were not realistically available at 7pm on a Saturay night, and the alternative payment method suggested by the company was not accepted by the driver. What should have been a simple delivery turned into an approximately 90-minute ordeal.

What was most disappointing, however, was NAVI's response when I raised these concerns. Rather than showing empathy or taking any meaningful responsibility for the communication failures, they hid behind their waiver and essentially said that because delivery dates are estimates, they were not responsible for the consequences of how they handled the delays.

I wasn't asking them to guarantee a delivery date. I was asking them to acknowledge that repeatedly providing inaccurate timelines and failing to communicate with a customer is poor customer service. Even after everything that happened, I requested only a $204 partial refund as a reasonable gesture toward the problems we experienced. NAVI initially refused.

Companies cannot reasonably expect customers to accept poor communication, inaccurate information, and a lack of accountability simply because the fine print allows for delivery delays. The delays were frustrating. The complete lack of empathy and willingness to take responsibility was far worse. If you're considering NAVI, be prepared for the possibility that if something goes wrong, you may be left to deal with the consequences while the company points to its waiver rather than taking responsibility for the customer service experience.

The next morning came with no delivery, and I was given multiple different arrival times throughout the day. After reaching out several times, the driver finally showed up. The lack of communication, inaccurate delivery times, and unreliable tracking made this experience extremely frustrating. I would not recommend this company and will not be using them again.

He expedited the supervisor call.

At 2:36 pm I called the main number and the employee looked at everything, stated he will look into it, put me on hold for 8 minutes and then hung up the call. At 7:08 pm I received a call from a supervisor calling from the main number and he stated that he will talk to the accounting department and put me on hold. The hold was for 12 minutes and when he came back he said they cannot refund the charge because an order can only be held for 30 days. I told him that this is the first I have heard of this and the order is still on hold as of their text on the 18th. He hung up. I simply want them to the right and ethical thing and refund the un authorized fee.

My biggest issue was around pickup timing because I had to keep changing my plans while waiting. Once the car was finally picked up though, everything else felt straightforward. Delivery happened normally and there were no issues with the vehicle.

Not a bad experience overall, but I do think they could improve communication during waiting periods. There were moments where I wanted a clearer idea of timing instead of broad estimates. Aside from that, the service itself worked fine. The booking process was simple, the driver was respectful, and the car arrived safely without damage.

Honestly, the experience was average in the beginning and much better toward the end. Pickup day was stressful because timing kept moving around slightly, but once the driver actually arrived, things went pretty smoothly after that. Delivery happened without issues and the vehicle condition was exactly how I left it. I’d still use them again, just with more patience next time.

Used Navi during a hectic move and honestly expected the transport part to become another headache. It ended up being one of the smoother parts instead. The driver stayed professional throughout, the inspection wasn’t rushed, and I appreciated getting a call before delivery instead of being surprised. The car arrived safely and nothing about the experience felt chaotic.

I liked that Navi didn’t try too hard to oversell the process. Everything was explained pretty realistically from the start, including the fact that timing could shift a bit depending on routes. That actually made me trust them more. The driver contacted me before arrival and the inspection process was handled carefully. Delivery came through without complications and the car condition was exactly the same.

I had my SUV transported through Navi after staying out of town for work. I was mostly worried about delays because my schedule was already tight, but things actually moved more smoothly than expected. Pickup wasn’t instant, but the driver stayed in contact, and delivery came within the estimated timeframe. The inspection process also felt more professional than I expected from a transport company.

I didn’t realize how exhausting a long-distance move would be until I was in the middle of it, so having the car shipped instead of driving it myself ended up being a good decision. Navi made the process feel manageable. I wasn’t bombarded with unnecessary calls, but I still got contacted when it mattered. The driver handled everything professionally and the delivery itself was completely smooth.

I booked Navi after another company completely ghosted me during scheduling, so by that point I was already irritated with the whole transport process. Surprisingly, Navi felt much more organized. They explained things realistically instead of promising impossible deadlines. The pickup happened a little later than first estimated, but at least I wasn’t left confused. Once the car was in transit, delivery happened smoothly and there were no problems at all.

The transport itself was fine, just not perfect timing-wise. I’m someone who likes exact schedules and that part definitely tested my patience a little. The pickup window felt wider than expected and I had to keep my day open longer than planned. Aside from that, the process was smooth enough. The vehicle arrived safely and nothing looked wrong during inspection at delivery.

You want your car to be shipped by this company? Never expect the feedback from them and if you call them to check your vehicle transportation status you gonna be holded for more than an hour to speak to an agent. I wanted my Chevy TRAX shipped from Wisconsin to Texas, and this took me to wait from Wednesday to Sunday, no response from them and once they answer my call they told me there was they been having long delays and they had no time to inform me about that until I cancel the order to find a serious transportation company. Never navigate to this company unless you wanna wait forever with not even a call back from them to let you know what’s going on.
