What is Navi Auto Transport?

Navi Auto Transport is a fully insured automobile transportation broker. It provides open and closed-trailer auto shipping services across the United States. Navi Auto Transport is a family-owned business based out of Wilmington, Delaware. Free, no-obligation quotes are available online, with no upfront payment required.

How does Navi Auto Transport work?

Navi Auto Transport works in three steps:

  1. Get a free quote and book shipping
  2. Vehicle pick up by vetted transport company
  3. Delivery and vehicle inspection

Information needed to request a quote includes vehicle details, like make, model and condition. Additionally, you’ll need to provide the vehicle pickup and delivery locations. Quotes are generated based on these factors and the transport service type.

Navi Auto Transport offers open and enclosed transport options. Open transport is when the vehicle is shipped in an open-air trailer. Enclosed transport is shipped in an enclosed truck, which offers more protection from weather and road debris.

Once you’ve agreed to the price and service, Navi Auto Transport finalizes the booking. There are no upfront costs, meaning payment isn’t due until vehicle delivery. Navi Auto Transport is fully licensed and insured by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).

Navi Auto Transport shipping options

Navi Auto Transport offers two auto shipping options.

  • Open car transport: Open car transport is the most common and affordable option. It involves shipping your vehicle in an open trailer. Because of its efficiency in shipping multiple vehicles at a time, open car transport costs less than enclosed transport.
  • Enclosed auto transport: Enclosed auto transport provides more vehicle protection than open car transport. Enclosed transport keeps your vehicle safer from elements and road hazards. Vehicles are shipped inside a fully enclosed trailer, which makes this option more expensive than open transport.

Navi Auto Transport additional services

Navi Auto Transport offers additional services beyond open and enclosed shipping. These include:

  • Expedited shipping: For those needing faster delivery, Navi Auto Transport can arrange expedited shipping at an additional cost.
  • Door-to-door service: Navi Auto Transport provides door-to-door shipping, where a vehicle is picked up and delivered directly to your chosen locations.
  • Terminal-to-terminal shipping: Navi Auto Transport coordinates terminal-to-terminal shipping, which is designated terminal drop-off and pickup locations.
  • Commercial vehicle transport: Navi Auto Transport can handle commercial vehicle transport.
  • Motorcycle and heavy equipment transport: In addition to cars, Navi Auto Transport can assist with shipping motorcycles, boats and large equipment.

Navi Auto Transport costs

I had Navi transport a 2012 Mini Hardtop. I went on a couple of search engines and looked at the reviews. I looked at what the services they offered were and how responsive they were. Their price was competitive with others. So, I chose them. I went through some analysis to determine who to pick and they have my recommendation. Their representative was very professional and gave me all the information I needed to know. The transaction itself was very smooth. There was a bit of additional handholding I needed from the individual who I made the initial contact with. Except the scheduling and all that stuff, it would have helped if there had been a little bit smoother transition there. Overall, I'm very satisfied.

The transport happened a little earlier than I thought. The original pickup point was in Samish, Washington. I talked to the driver because I live on a residential street and he had a large vehicle. So we elected to go to an area that had more clearance for him and that worked out fine. It was within three miles of my house. That was fine. The drop-off was in Austin, Texas, and my son received the vehicle in Austin, Texas. He had been contacted by the driver and he met the driver there. Everything went fine there. The car was without damage, and the quote was accurate. The only thing that we had an adjustment on is I found that there was an incentive for retired or current military. So I told them I'm retired military and they gave me a small incentive.

I was in the process of moving out of state and needed a reliable option to ship my personal vehicle from Georgia to Virginia. The experience mostly met my expectations. I had arranged for my car to be delivered to my sister's home, given the uncertainty of my new address. It all seemed straightforward at first, but there were some hiccups along the way.

One major issue arose when I was trying to coordinate the timing of my vehicle's departure with my own relocation plans. I had anticipated getting a call or email a day before the pickup, as was initially stated by a representative named Logan. However, after calling back to finalize details, I was surprised by a text saying the car would be picked up the same day. This was quite unexpected, and while everything worked out in the end, it was a bit stressful not having a confirmed date in advance.

Despite these communication challenges, the quote I received from Navi was competitive, likely due to the frequent text offers from other companies. Although, understanding that the delivery was handled by a subcontractor who hauled just a few cars was surprising.

Navi Auto Transport does indeed get the job done, albeit with some minor communication stumbles. Dealing with customer service — like the mix-up with representatives — needs some patience, yet the smooth interaction with Logan stood out positively. The relatively low cost was effective alongside their decent feedback from prior customers. Overall, I'd recommend them, cautioning about being prepared for a bit of unexpected navigation between differing representatives and external contractors.

The person who organized the transport was responsive and provided all the necessary info I needed, although I did speak with a few people throughout the process.

My car was picked up in Southwestern Florida just 24 hours after arranging transport and delivered to Leesburg, Virginia, in less than a day – quicker than I anticipated. I wasn't present at the pickup, and initially, there was some confusion as the person who collected the vehicle wasn’t who I was told would be. Nevertheless, after a couple of phone calls with dispatch, everything was cleared up. The quote they provided was accurate compared to the final price, as I was flexible about pickup and delivery times, which seemed to help in negotiating the price to be competitive.

When the vehicle arrived, it was in perfect condition, and although I wasn’t there for delivery, my wife reported no issues with the handover process. Overall, my experience with Navi was great, and I’d rate them a 5 out of 5. Despite the initial hiccup with the pickup communication, the team kept us informed, and the vehicle arrived sooner than expected.

For anyone considering their services, I'd say to shop around for quotes, but Navi might ultimately provide the best option.

A 4 star review means they got the job done for a good price. There were times they were helpful and times they were not. A 5 star would mean they made it easy and pleasant for me at every turn. That was not the case. They gave a price for my trip and said it was all inclusive--their fee plus the driver fee. Great. The next day they call & say they have a driver "but he has a small truck so he wants more. It will be $700". I told them I don't need to rush this and don't want to pay more. Next day, similar play--found driver, wants more $$. NO!! Then my credit card is charged $129. I call. Why was it charged? "Oh, the driver said he will do it for the price you agreed"

So the attempt to get more $ was annoying, and the charge first, confirm later was annoying, and all of those conversations were with no less than 4 agents--no consistency is annoying. I have shipped with others and, if you want to may another $100-$150 you can get a dedicated agent with great communication. After the driver was set, I heard nothing from Navi. At all. Potential problem at end with driver--nobody at Navi to talk to. Literally, they are just the broker and not out to help you.

So realize what you give up if you go for Navi/the lower price. If you can't take that kind of sales pressure and poor communication, go with another broker. The experience with the driver and his dispatcher is NOT part of this review, because Navi and all the others are just brokers; you might get a driver with great communication and you might not. That is the nature of this business. $629 for WA to NorCal

Navi Auto Transport is who we are ever gonna use. I decided on them when I noticed they offered a $50 discount on shipping services at night. This promotional offer was persuasive and prompted me to choose them over other companies. I interacted with Jason, who left a good impression. His professionalism stood out, which made me feel confident in proceeding with the order.

The pickup and delivery process was seamless. My son observed the vehicle was efficiently loaded onto the service truck upon pick up. Upon arrival in Florida, the driver coordinated with me to meet in a vacant parking lot conveniently located close to my residence. The entire transaction was straightforward, from receiving my vehicle to providing a tip for the driver's efforts.

What's noteworthy is that I plan to use Navi Auto Transport in the future as well. I am currently in the process of arranging to ship a van and coordinating its transport for when we are ready to move after our house sells. Additionally, I've been contemplating using their services more as I delve into classic car acquisitions, which I intend to sell here for a profit, given the market differences between Michigan and Florida.

Overall, the service from Navi Auto Transport was dependable. Despite minor unwanted calls ahead of the shipping schedule, I understand that it is a part of maintaining customer engagement. This kind of proactive customer service shows an understanding and commitment to staying connected with clients, which is appreciated when undertaking recurring business.

What stood out for me was how little emotional energy this required. I didn’t need to chase updates or prepare for conflict. Things moved quietly in the background. At first, that calm made me suspicious, but over time it became reassuring. When the car arrived earlier than expected, it felt like confirmation that the process had been steady all along.

This process challenged my patience more than anything else. I don’t enjoy not knowing what stage things are in, and there were moments where the silence made me uncomfortable. Still, nothing ever turned chaotic. The car arrived safely and earlier than planned. Looking back, I think my frustration came more from waiting than from anything the company actually did wrong.

I spent more time managing my expectations than managing the service itself. That says something. The process wasn’t perfect, and there were moments of uncertainty, but nothing spiraled. The early delivery softened the memory of those moments and left me feeling neutral instead of frustrated.

This was my second time transporting a vehicle and I paid closer attention this time. The inspection at pickup was done carefully and nothing felt rushed. There were a few quiet periods during transport, but updates came when they were relevant. I didn’t feel ignored or misled. Delivery happened earlier than expected and the driver walked me through the final check without pressure. The process felt professional and straightforward from start to finish.
