Secondly, the pick-up date, which fell at the end of the possible date range we were given, was extended a day. This was NOT convenient because we were staying in a hotel near my daughter's apartment. We had to stay another night. My daughter had to be out of her apartment the day before (and the car removed from the parking lot). I intentionally made that date the last date of our window.

Fortunately the apartment manager allowed us to leave the car there one more day. But then, the driver was running late the next day and wanted to push it off one more day -- which fell outside our pick-up range. We said absolutely not. Even if we have to meet him at midnight, we cannot spend another night at this hotel. We must deliver this car TODAY. As it was, we did meet him at about 11 pm to deliver the car, but at least we could head home the next morning. The car did make it to Oregon after my daughter arrived, so that worked out well. There were no issues with the travel or the delivery - we were pleased about that.
