Omg, I been doing this cancellation for my GAP insurance in over a year. They still don’t want to refund me. Once the money in their hands they will not let it go…. I do not recommend doing business with. Even after the judge ruled that my GAP insurance should be canceled and refunded, the owner refused to send me my money. I followed all the legal steps and provided all the necessary documents, but they still ignored the court’s judgment. Once they caught your wallet they will never let it go.
I took the dealership to small claims court. It took eight months for my GAP insurance to be canceled. I have appealed the case because I need the judge to hear the recording I have of the salesman, Leo, explaining the contract differently than how it was written. If any judge I get does not take the time to listen to the recording before ruling, I will continue to appeal until I find one who is willing to review it carefully. Now that I understand what the judge is looking for, I will appeal this case.
