We just bought our first car with Carvana, and what an OUTSTANDING Experience it was. We will never go to a dealer and buy again. Carvana made the car buying experience so easy and enjoyable. I purchased a 2014 Ford Focus on March 28 2025. On April 25 2025 the car went into the garage for check engine light that stated camshaft sensors were bad. Ok I get it.. it’s a used car so this can happen.. not too concerned since I have the limited warranty for 90 days. So the garage fixes that issue but it does not fix the car. Fast forward to June 4 2025 when the car is towed to a ford garage from the garage it is currently at. Yes the car was at the first garage from April 25 until June 4 and I had not had it in my possession all that time. So while the car is at the ford dealership garage.. I’m conversing with Ray the Executive resolution guy who keeps telling me to trust the process of letting them fix the car and fighting with the warranty company. So after multiple attempts to fix the car ford states they have no idea what is wrong with it... and btw... it’s now July 24 2025. The warranty has ran out and the car is not fixed.
I emailed Ray and let him know I trusted the process but the car still does not run and ford has given up. He gave me two options.. (1) trade the car in to Carvana which means they give me 2500 and roll the remaining 7000 in to my new car loan or (2) keep the car and keep getting it fixed but reminded me that the warranty is no longer valid and I’m responsible for all repairs. This was Carvana resolution to a car that I only had for 3 weeks and two different garages we’re not able to fix the car after having the car for 3 months. I have contacted the AG as well as BBB and an attorney. I will keep this updated.. sorry it’s so long.

The vehicle does not have "wear" congruent with 23K miles. I counted on Carvana to be transparent in representing the vehicle. I am only allowed to submit 3 instances of damage. There is damage all around the vehicle. The 7 day return policy is worthless when considering these objections as the shipping fee is non-refundable. What should have happened when I filed the complaints: review all of the exterior damage and then do what any other local dealer would have done. Refund $1000 for mispresenting the vehicle.
As such I will not consider buying a vehicle from Carvana again simply because no proper inquiry was made as to the misrepresentation of exterior condition. I either throw away $1000 on non-refundable shipping or throw away $1000 in vehicle value. I will keep the car. Absolutely not happy with the business model. Don't even bother to note exterior damage if you won't stand behind damage that exists but not noted. Even now, I can only upload 6 pictures. There are more than 6 noteworthy imperfections not documented in the listing.

Everything seemed to be going well. I tapped on the warranty I wanted. Didn't know I didn't get it added, then told all said and done, didn't get it and too late can't add it. Now dealing with calls finding a warranty and this is why we decided to buy a vehicle this way, was dealing with calls for just looking.

Buying experience was streamlined and easy. However, there was no mention of damage on the front bumper on the website. The plastic part on the bottom of the front bumper was cracked, scratched up, and is hanging off loosely - Carvana won't fix it. The delivery guy said it may have happened during transport.

Overall the experience was smooth and easy, from getting a good trade value for my previous car to the ease of doing all the paperwork. Everyone has been super nice from the delivery driver to the online support. Only issue I have that didn't make this a 5 star is how the truck arrived. It arrived with less than a half tank of gas, the interior was filthy and had a strange musky smell that I will need to try and remove.

We bought a truck on Carvana last month and it was truly the easier experience we have ever gone through! This month I decided to trade in my car for an upgraded new version! It truly is so simple and Micah delivered my car to me and took my trade in! He took the time to go over everything with me! I couldn’t recommend more! I purchased a 2019 BMW X5 on 4/19/25 through Carvana. The purchase process was standard and I had no issues doing so. After making my down payment of $300 and transportation fee of $1990. I decided to add Carvana Care. This decision to add the carvana care for the vehicle was made within the time period before my car was even delivered to me. I spoke to customer care to add the carvana care and the representative did not have knowledge on the carvana care and had issues adding it and processing the payment. So I requested if she was unable to provide me with the carvana care to please leave my account as is.
After hanging up, I received a new contract with the carvana care down payment which was $1510.00 for the Plus package like the representative said which was taken from my account. HOWEVER Carvana Care Plus package was NEVER added on to my account. I have now had the car for 90 days without the carvana care plus package although the money has been withdrawn out of my account. I have made multiple calls to carvana to resolve this issue. I was promised a call back with a reconstructed contract and to no avail. I hope to resolve this issue and receive a reconstructed contract with my carvana care plus package added without having to involve legal counsel, but will involve counsel if need be.

I liked the idea of Carvana and the car, but -- I "purchased" the car on July 4th so nothing was open. I was told I had two days to provide the payment. Each time I called, the hold was extended, but with threats of putting the car back into availability with each approaching deadline. I had already been preapproved for financing and was able to finalize the loan at my branch the next day, but it was a Saturday, so the check (from the main bank) could not go out until Monday. I was only able to get the FedEx tracking number, but my bank could not supply a copy of the check. That left me in limbo. The FedEx tracking reported the check arrived the next morning on Tuesday. When I called, I was told that I would not be contacted when the check cleared but had to call in to find out. Not a great system. I must have called over a dozen times.
On Friday, I finally asked to speak to a supervisor, but had to wait for a "ticket." The next day, after a looong call, the car was released so I could set up delivery. So kudos to the agent who helped me, but your system needs to take into account holidays and weekends and not scare clients with the threats. Also, the car had undisclosed damage--cracks in the windshield. I called the day before my trial ended and was told another "ticket" would be put in and someone would contact me. That was a week ago! And a minor issue, the car arrived with no fluid in the wiper fluid tank.

I purchased my car June 25th, everything was easy and great until I tried to register the car with the title Carvana sent me. They issued two titles a day apart in two different states. Sent me one and the DMV the other. I reached out July 11th and today there is still no resolve.

When we bought a car from Carvana with financing it was just as easy with cash. Getting a car and it not going on hold was hard but that is because there are so many people looking. The car was clean and delivered in the timeframe they said it would. Only thing the car we choose said free shipping but it shows $490 was added and we used the same address as our search. So that was odd. I would buy another car on carvana as prices are fair.

What was supposed to be an enjoyable, easy experience turned into a total sham. I have a credit score of 814, provided all documentation as requested-which was declined because my mail goes to a Post Office box instead of my home address I sent declaration page of ownership as well as homeowners insurance stating my physical address, also sent them a copy of my Spectrum bill with service address. All documentation was rejected. Keep in mind they already had my Social Security number and credit card/credit union information for auto pay deductions. I was charged a holding charge and a delivery charge for vehicle I never received as well as a charge for car insurance -DO NOT GO HERE

I began the search on a Friday, found a vehicle I loved at a fair price. I ordered the vehicle the next day and uploaded all my documents. I signed all the contracts online Monday and received my car Thursday. The delivery was great, the driver that delivered the vehicle was very professional and knowledgeable. It's now been 7 days with my car, and I really can't say anything bad about the process.

We thought this was an amazing and easy process. Right over the 7-day period, our engine light came on. The mechanic said it had over 60 codes on it. Needed a new turbo and battery. It is still not right. Looking to pursue legal charges with lemon law.

The car arrived on time, but in unacceptable condition: dirty wheel wells, mud packed between the tire grooves, and bug smudges all over the front—like it had just been test-driven through a dirt lot. The so-called "Advocate" (delivery rep) clearly didn’t care. Instead of addressing the issues, he repeatedly told us to go online and even suggested canceling the delivery if we didn’t like how the car looked.
To make things worse, the passenger-side DRL was dead—a known issue they still delivered the car with. Overall, a horrible experience. After three phone calls and answering 32 questions, I'm now just waiting to return the car within their so-called 7-day return window. To top it off, they expect me to stay home all day, since the pickup can happen anytime between 8 a.m. and 8 p.m.—with only a 30-minute heads-up. Bloated prices and a sky-high interest rate? Worst experience dealing with Carvana reps!! Run don’t use them ever!! This company is highly unethical taking deposits and shipping costs every chance they get! They say it’s no hassle but it’s no hassle if you don’t mind losing more money to every decision you make with them. They make you verify everything which is fine but they don’t use logic and if you go by an alias name at work, they expect you to expose all your privacy to your job just so your name matches your identification for a car.
If I wanna claim I’m married at work with my family name of my kids, that’s my business. Even while I was transparent with Carvana, they expected me to notify HR to make a change to all my documentation at work so my paycheck stub reads my legal name just because they couldn’t use their brains to comprehend that if I did that, that’s a whole lot of paperwork for HR just to turn around and change it back after a car purchase really? No other car sales had any issue with my hyphenated last name!! These people are stupid and blackballed me from ever buying from there again just because my last name was different on my identification than my paycheck stub!! It was literally the same name just hyphenated with my kid's last name behind it!! 🙄
They look for any reason to screw people over and take advantage of people! The cars aren’t even the best and every car I’ve purchased previously - yup you heard that right they didn’t have any issues with selling to me before because they neglected to care so much but it seems if they know you’re getting a better deal than they are, they’ll find ways to screw you. You’ll be wasting a whole lot of time and money with them and I don’t care to ever use them again so they did me a favor!! I’ll be glad when I can sell the POS that I got from them!!

Do not be confused by the 5 Star ratings. Those 5 star ratings are a result of people who bought and took delivery from Carvana. But what if you use their "7 car return policy". It sounds like a great thing but it is a way for them to make money. What happened to me is I purchased a car online. Within two hours, I canceled my order. I understand they have a policy that you lose the money for the delivery fee, even though it was only 2 hours later, they delivered nothing and I was not getting my car for another 3 days. I don't agree with that but that is their policy. The problem I have is when I bought the car, my $2200 deposit was taken out of my account within one hour.
They first told me it would be 5 days before they would return my money back. On the eighth day, I contacted them again, they told me it was going to be 15 days to get my deposit back. In working for a bank, I know a wire transfer takes seconds and not over two weeks. If my money is not there, it is off to small claims court. Of course, because they kept my "Delivery Fee" even though they did not deliver anything and they are holding onto my deposit, I can guarantee I will never buy from them. By doing this to hundreds of customers, they make a fortune on the interest. So, if you are buying, make sure you take delivery because their return policy is not like having the policy at all.

Try and sell your car....yourself. Can be a hassle when dealing with potential buyers but selling your car to carvana or any business...Why?? They will always low ball you and get creative with words to justify otherwise. "Well, you had an accident or has a dent or something." And yet if they buy your car they tell potential buyers. Ah gesh Louise don't sweat the small stuff, it's in good running condition da, da, da. Buyers always want to pay the least and sell for the most....many times 2 or 3 or 4 times more than what they paid you!

The process felt a bit rushed as I started on a Sunday and had about 24 hours to get the required documents needed to keep my appointment. You guys need to take better care of the paint and Buff it out before they get delivered. Swirl marks everywhere on every single panel and decently deep, and didn’t care because I know how buff it out, but this was just not right getting a car like this.!!!

This one is my second order from you. I received a vehicle totally different than what was listed. Carvana really needs to pay more attention to the inspection period. During delivery, the driver took pictures of the imperfections (which wasn't listed) and told us that somebody will give us a call and nobody did. We filled out service form and you can only choose 3 imperfection (system doesn't allow you do more) and two were denied. And the funny thing here is the respond from you guys: Every used vehicle tells its own story, which might include a few imperfections. By not fixing every cosmetic blemish, we're able to pass lower prices on to you. We do our best to provide full transparency & visibility on the most prominent cosmetic issues in highly visible areas. This vehicle has been carefully inspected and reconditioned to ensure it meets our high safety and performance standards.
They claim that they do their job perfectly which is not correct. We gave a call to customer service, they also said only one thing they can fix which is headliner. Also car has mechanical problem, I have lots of pictures and videos related to this case. Than we decided to return it. I forgot to mention, I brought the car Mercedes Service and they are telling that at least we need to spend more than $6K for interior cosmetic repairs, mechanical is plus. The only good thing is the low mileage of the vehicle. Rest is disappointing.
I will share my review online also with the pictures and vin number of the vehicle and definitely mention that inspection period is a failure. I won't order anything from you guys anymore, without seeing a vehicle no way. By the way my first order had problem also but Carvana was agree to fix them and we kept the car. But same problem that time also, lack of inspection. Please pay more attention to inspection period. And I am not talking about scratches paint imperfections. We have many but not important for me. If you have time please check the pictures in your system and compare them with listing pictures. Also maintenance reminder is on, says due service. How can we make sure you guys check the fluids and etc. Depending report yes you did but reality is a question mark. If you send me an e-mail address I can send you pictures and videos.
No buy from ever Carvana again. I attached 6 pictures, I have many more and also have videos. None of the listed on your website. Roof liner is totally gone, it is not possible to not to see it but inspector didn't see it. The carvana driver and I did the inspection in 5 minutes and he put the pictures on his system. Then when we start to drive the car we also find additional things. Also transmission will give you a headache also in long term. I have many Mercedes vehicles during years and still have 3 of them, and know what is going on and might will be on. Thanks.

This was my first Carvana experience and I was disappointed. Carvana is a Huge Company that demanded that I select different Insurance coverage to ensure that I could keep the van and Pick up date. I selected the 2019 Van on July 4th and figured that I could call my Current insurance to add new van to my policy. I was called on a National Holiday to set up Insurance coverage on the new vin number to ensure my purchase and pick up date. I was told that coverage needed to be sent to Carvana BEFORE 4:30 pm on Saturday, July 5th, My current insurance company was closed on Sat and Sundays. Now I am trying to wait for my refund from Progressive.
After jumping and doing everything to get new insurance for the new van. YOU (Carvana) drafted someone else's bank account On July 8th and now I have to do a cashiers check to show that the money is in the account! When I spoke with MANNY about this issue and had MY bank tell him on speaker phone that NO draft or Overdraft charge was present on my account on July 9th after 9:00am! I am not HAPPY about the whole purchase of this vehicle! The staff at the Raleigh Carvana Vending machine were GREAT and explained everything! They were not the problem at ALL! That helped me feel somewhat better about the van I finally picked up on July 16th, 2025. I did have a mechanic check the van over to check for any other HIDDEN issues!

I was very skeptical of the whole Carvana process. I tried two other dealerships first. Finally, I couldn’t wait any longer. Even when the car arrived, I wouldn’t call it “mine” until my mechanic looked it over. I went the next day and he said “that’s a good car.” From a mechanic with few words, I took that as high praise. The delivery person was awesome, too. Very kind and patient and answered lots of questions for me.

Your process is supposed to be streamlined and it is anything but. Your site loops customers in an endless cycle of 24 hour hold placings and offshore India firm harassment over the weekend when you "confirm purchase"....All this despite the fact that you obviously can't verify the financial institution because it's the weekend. An incredibly dumb mind built the site's logic and user interface. To make matters worse, when there is an issue with the car that needs to be addressed during the 7 day window, you make it incredibly difficult to sort out which is why I had to buy a battery out of pocket due to the new Carvana purchase having a failed battery during a diagnostic test and the car not starting. That should NEVER happen, but it did!!! Almost $300 bucks paid on top of car purchase and to date my $1400 refund has not processed!!!! Terrible experience, and NEVER again!!

I purchased a van. The first van had a problem and also there was a lot of confusion with the trade-in car title if I needed a paper copy or if the electronic title was sufficient. I wasted a whole day dealing with that problem and went and got the paper title because I couldn't trust the information I was given. Then the first van I received had a problem with the starting system. The 7-day trial really made this a easy experience to swap out the other van for one similar. Ultimately the experience was ok and I think that there needs to be better checks on vehicles and also the customer service needs to be better as well. Overall my experience was ok and I am not sure if I will use Carvana again or not.

Good overall experience. Both my cars are now from Carvana. Delivery people Scott and Grace were very kind and accommodating. The car was not very clean on the inside. Before buying, I checked to make sure it had a tow hitch. And it did. But I was a little surprised and disappointed that there was no electrical hookup to accompany the hitch. Really can't use one without the other... Nevertheless, a good overall experience. I have recommended you to friends and family.

I must say that I’m deeply disappointed with Carvana. The trade in value of my vehicle was $6000 below the actual value of my 2018 F 150. The price of the vehicle was no lower than sticker value of the New Truck. Convenience was the only driving factor in this purchase. After hearing news of possible layoffs at work I was forced to cancel my order. I had already paid the shipping charges of 1890.00. After cancellation of the order they would NOT return my shipping costs. They state you must cancel within 24 hrs of placing your order. This is unacceptable. I’m currently filing a case against them in my County. I will pursue retrieval of these shipping charges no matter what the outcome. I’m being penalized for attempting to purchase a Vehicle from Carvana is the only logical explanation I can think of.
This is not the only issue with this company although it is the current issue I’m dealing with. This should not be allowed in any situation. Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company. The convenience of the purchase does not outweigh the problems you will face after purchasing from them. I am not the only person dealing with these similar issues. Be aware that this company is not there to help. They only want your money.

This is my fourth vehicle purchased from Carvana and I have enjoyed every event, including this one but with a serious caveat. This event is tainted as the vehicle I purchased, a 2019 Ram 1500 Limited, was advertised as having a multifunction tailgate in the section titled Why You'll Love This 1500. Upon delivery, I discovered it did NOT have that tailgate. What's more is that one of the pictures of the bed of the truck isn't even a picture of the same truck. That feels more than misleading and deceptive, and Carvana is not willing to do anything for me whatsoever, saying that section of the website is created using AI and may contain inaccuracies. Frankly, that is not my problem and your QA process should have caught it. I am asking for my tailgate to be replaced at Carvana's expense so that what I bought matches what Carvana's website states I was buying.

I had planned my delivery to be before the 4th of July weekend when I had travel plans (with the car). In the middle of my delivery window on July 3rd, I was notified that delivery would be delayed until July 6th, significantly disrupting my travel plans. Carvana did nothing to fix the situation.

Love the car. Only problem I have the tires are from 2012 and have 5 and 6 on tread and White Rock said it's ok to have old tires. Every tire manufacturer said no tire should be that old. Rubber deteriorates over time and are unsafe. My car is parked in yard. It should not have been sold that way.

Doing this transaction with Carvana was seamless and simple. The process took me less than one hour on my phone from finding the vehicle to getting pre approved then completing the signing up. Experience was easy, not hassling like other dealerships. Smooth transition of paperwork and vehicle. Delivery guys were polite and helpful answering questions I may have had. I had a few hoops to jump through but now I am enjoying my vehicle. I received a significantly higher offer to sell/trade in my vehicle than I did at other dealers. I was able to use my purchase offer to bargain with other dealers and actually got great offers with that leverage but no one could really be at Carvana's deal. I had to speak to many different customer service representatives before being able to finance through my own bank. They kept telling me that they couldn't use my bank so I hung up and tried again until I got to a customer service representative that actually knew what they were doing. I ended up being able to use my bank. The main issue was check verification, banks cannot verify checks over the phone, they need fax or email.
When the car arrived, I had all my paperwork signed and ready and my plates ready to transfer and the process was very easy. The car came with brakes completely shot in the front and back so I took it to my local Firestone and they called Silverrock and got a claim done for me. I did not have to pay for a whole new brake job, (which is good) but I think it should have been done before I received it.

Car buying process was smooth and easy, BUT my car was delivered with transport damage on the hood, paint damaged down to bare metal. Filed a claim and Carvana only offered $200 for detailing which will not fix the issue. I can and will not recommend Carvana due to their inability to hold themselves accountable for issues they created for their customers.

Repainted rear passenger door. The website included 3 imperfections, but not this large one. The Carvana delivery person pointed it out to me. I felt there should have been some compensation, but review board never got back to me. The Carvana advocate chat I had, said I would hear back before my 7 day return period was up. But it didn't happen.

We just bought a 2021 Nissan Kicks, It was so easy for us that we will use Carvana again to make another purchase. With me working a lot and not having time to go spend a day at a dealership and deal with the back and forth was so appreciated. The process to purchase is very simple and handled very well. The reason for the low rating is what happened post delivery. We received our Wagoneer on the 10th in Tennessee. Our nephew was joining the Navy and had a going away party in Pickerington, Ohio on the 11th. We drove the 5 hours to Ohio on the 11th and it was raining. While driving we hit a slippery patch and the car skidded out of control going 55 MPH. By the grace of God I gained control of the car after almost going into the grass and flipping on the left side of the highway and skidding back to the right and almost hitting multiple vehicles when we were almost to my sister in law's house. On arrival, we looked and the rear tires were almost bare. While I should have checked this, I assumed that a brand new car (for us) would have tires that were in good shape.
I called Carvana on Saturday and was given the contact info for the warranty people. When I called them they were closed and were closed Sunday. I had to be back in Tennessee for work on Monday. I went online and schedule an appointment with an in service provider. When I arrived Sunday morning they could not contact the warranty people and did not have the tires in stock. The called a few other of their locations and no one had the tires we needed. I located a National Tire and Brake location (out of network) that did have the tires and could replace them on Sunday. I had them replaced for $400 dollars.
I called the warranty company in Monday morning and was told that I went to an out of network provider and since I did the only way to be reimbursed was to get a letter from the place in Ohio saying the tires needed to be replaced and another letter from the in service provider stating that they did not have the tires. This is absolutely the worst customer service I have experienced in a long time as I tried to go through the in service people and tried to speak to the warranty company and got zero help. We will not be doing business with Carvana again

We purchased a 2021 Subaru Ascent. When we arrived we were greeted kindly. Our advocate did a good job at showing us the car. It seemed like it was in a really good condition. But when we looked more closely the car had two chips on the windshield glass that were not among the condition pictures online. We informed Carvana immediately as we hadn’t left the site yet. They sent us information on where to take the car to get the windshield changed in our town and they paid for the repairs. It was easy to get approval and the changes happened quickly. Now, as soon as we left the site headed home, we began to hear a really strange noise coming from under the car. We stopped in the Highway to check and noticed that the heat shield underneath the car was loose and scraping against the road. Apparently, it had not been clipped back properly.
We had no idea what was going on. A Good Samaritan stopped and helped us clip it backs. We informed Carvana and they approved the shield to be replaced at one of our local mechanics. So as you see, Carvana really took care of any issue that we had! I feel confident purchasing through them because they were responsive to the couple of issues that we had. Buying a used car is always a toss up! Carvana makes the toss a little less scary!

Process was easy and quick. Delivery guy was professional and courteous. The truck I bought needs 4 new tires at a cost of $1500 to me. Documents for trade in vehicle should be on app or emailed after Carvana takes possession of trade in. I need to cancel a service contract on truck I traded in. That can't be done without proof of sale/trade in. I understand not fixing every ding like it says on your website, but not replacing tires and passing that on to buyers who need to pass state inspections is not great for customer retention. Since I can't get inspection until I get my state registration which will be well after the seven day return period, it puts me in the position of having to pay for anything that comes up during the inspection.

I recently purchased a 2014 Nissan Pathfinder SV from Carvana, and unfortunately, the experience was incredibly stressful. The process was rushed, with tight deadlines and countdowns that added to the pressure. Communication was poor, leaving me confused about the status of my purchase. I spent two days scrambling to get documents in on time, dealing with back-and-forth communication between Carvana and my insurance company. Getting a copy of the title from Carvana was particularly challenging.
Compared to my previous car-buying experience at a Honda dealership, where they handled all the paperwork and insurance calls, Carvana's process felt chaotic. Despite submitting all documents on time, I was told there was an issue the day before pickup, and I had to wait an extra week for the vehicle. When it finally arrived, the driver was kind and professional, but the vehicle itself was filthy and had unmarked damage, including a piece of weatherstripping hanging loose and caked-on dirt. Given the state of the vehicle, I was disappointed, but my urgent need for a car kept me from refusing delivery. However I did report the issues to the driver. Overall, my experience with Carvana was disappointing, and I hope they improve their communication and vehicle preparation in the future.

Avoid Carvana at All Costs – Unsafe, Unchecked Cars & Useless Customer Service. I’m extremely disappointed with my experience buying a car from Carvana.com. They promote their so-called “150-point inspection” like it’s some industry gold standard, but based on what I received, I’m honestly questioning if they even looked at the car.
Within just the 1st day of ownership, I discovered:
Warped front and rear brakes that made the entire car shake violently every time I touched the brake pedal. It's not a small issue — a full safety hazard.
Worn-out windshield wipers with rubber literally hanging off. The first rain showed they were completely unusable. That’s something a basic visual check should catch.
When I contacted Carvana’s customer service, they acted like none of this was surprising — like they were used to people calling about busted cars. There was no urgency, no ownership, and no real concern. Just scripted responses and hollow apologies. Thankfully, I was still within their 7-day return window, so I wasn’t completely stuck with a lemon. But let’s be real — no one should have to deal with unsafe brakes and failing parts on a car that just passed some supposed 150-point inspection. Carvana sells you on convenience, but underneath that slick app and delivery service is a company that’s clearly cutting corners. I’ll never use them again, and I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone who values safety, quality, or customer support.

For starters, in order to get a car the bank statements used need to be within a specific group of banks listed. Once I cancelled the car I had put $490 as a down payment on, I was told that it would take 10-15 business days to issue a refund. Once those 15 days were up I reached out to the customer service on their website and I was told that the "automated refund process has not yet started". I then asked why it didn't start when I cancelled the order, and they said it was because the "automated refund failed to process". Why was there no email? No text? No call? This is shady.

When my vehicle arrived, the delivery team confirmed that tires were shot. I called Carvana, who advised me to take it to Firestone, to get the tires replaced. After many calls and discussions, Firestone refused to replace the tires. Had I been told the car tires were not going to be replaced, I would have refused delivery. This is a difficult-to-find vehicle due to precise axle ratio needed for towing. I paid out of pocket for 2 of the 4 tires needed on day two of ownership after being told, they were not safe to drive on. Yet, Carvana insisted it was normal wear and would not cover the cost. Carvana provided me a five-hundred-dollar check, which covered less than half the cost of 4 tires.

Great truck, good deal, TERRIBLE CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE. Truck arrived with undocumented damage, dashboard lit up with error lights, no opportunity to test drive, nearly impossible to get a human to deal with the situation. 6 hours of hassle and hold.... executive resolution team is an absolute joke. So much script interaction that these people failed to address the problem. Could have returned-exchanged, but didn't have two weeks to wait and figured Carvana would bomb on delivery again. Fixed the issue myself instead of the time sucking Silver Rock warranty path.
For what it is worth, Silver Rock, the warranty and roadside provider... after 2 hours still couldn't get THEIR OWN ROADSIDE PROVIDER ON THE PHONE, let alone on site. Get yourself a good value purchase, look over well on delivery, comparing closely to the online pics, demand the test drive, avoid Silver Rock warranty and roadside...save your money, time and patience.

The whole process was very quick and easy. It was simple to follow and streamlined. I liked that you can do everything online at any time. I wish they had an option to obtain your own financing within a day or two since most banks locally aren’t open 24/7. The scheduling process was easy and the notifications along the way were helpful. This would have been car #5 from Carvana. First 3 great. 4th showed up dirty with hail damage. Silverrock covered repairs of 7000 and gave us a Carfax accident report so the Tahoe is worth less. 5th car scat pack charger had 3 small spots listed in paint, was actually 25 plus and some dents (very dishonest). Took to a shop and was quoted over 9000. But according to the Carvana team this is normal wear and tear. I have cars 30 years old with only 1 scratch. Also the car showed up dirty. Sure would be nice if they reported all the damage. I have lots of pics and quote from repair shop.

I have had a horrible experience with CarvanaCare, and would never have purchased this insurance if I knew how difficult the process would be. It’s been over two weeks since I initiated the claim (within the 7 day purchase window, as required for full coverage) and there have been constant delays and mistakes. From Monroe submitting the information to the wrong company, to losing track of my claim information and requiring multiple visits, it has been an ordeal. All I needed were two functional tires. After spending thousands of dollars on a new vehicle and thousands more on a “protection plan,” I would expect to be provided with decent tires. I am extremely disappointed and would never recommend this insurance to anyone.

It was a different way to buy a car online. I felt the car was ok because Carvana states they inspect the car. But when I first drove it after the deliverer left, it seemed to be sputtering. So I tried to get in-service option online, and speaking to Carvana and to Silver Rock. My options were out of town an hour away. I don't drive out to that town. So it’s very inconvenient and impractical, When there's plenty of shops in town. So just on that basis I wouldn't recommend anyone in this town to buy a car from carvana. It's not a small town either. I didn't buy a car just to be concerned with issues right off too. That's very discouraging.
I won't buy a car from carvana due to my unhappy experience. The car shouldn't be sputtering and jerking. And I didn't want to return it for another one that was same price and have them have to drive way out here again. And probably have same issues. Purchase was simple. Received my 2018 Ford on May 1. Began not starting intermittently. On June 24, I took vehicle to local Ford dealer. They did inspection. The battery had "heavy corrosion" and failed. They also noted two tires were 8 years old. Older than my car! They also found a directional Tire was on backwards. They recommended new battery, two new tires and mount directional tire correctly. I was still within my limited warranty period and I had a also purchased their SilverRock warranty plan.
After calling Carvana and SilverRock (and later filing dispute with SilverRock) both companies stated these were non covered repairs as they were maintenance related. Again, I had this vehicle less than 2 months and driven only 1,669 miles. Total out of pocket $764.10. Lesson learned- during 7 day trial period, spend a little and have your local mechanic do their own inspection for a fraction of that cost! Air filter was also filthy. Additional $21 to replace. Disappointed.

Overall a horrible experience. The TPMS sensor went off as I was driving the car home from purchasing it. 3 days later the check engine light came on and no mechanic I brought the car to could figure out what was wrong. I was on the phone with Carvana reps through a 3 day period and no one offered any solutions or could explain how it was that a car I just purchased could have two major problems within a week of purchasing. There is no way Carvana did any inspection but they offered no assistance so I’m returning the car and hoping to never have to deal with this horrible company again.

I have had several issues during the delivery process. (1) There's was a lack of understanding concerning title responsibility. Navy Federal provides the title to CARVANA. Confusion in paperwork and delivery tech delivery processes. The car was ANT infested. Floor Mat was missing. Glove box not functioning properly. Missing Range Rover hanger at back of head rest. There was a lack of care to address issues. Silver Rock online process does not allow a selection to take care to original car dealer. Only pushed for non-dealer shops.

The car was described as having a scratch on the outside passenger mirror and fender, and one other small chip. The car arrived with over a dozen dents from hail damage it looks like. There were half a dozen other small dents that still have Sharpie marks on it from were someone marked the damage. The driver side rear view mirror housing is broken and poorly glued back together. There are also giant ratchet strap-looking marks on the roof and doors. It also gouged the rubber on the driver side roof. The remotes showed up with a dead battery. I got the guy to take photos of everything before I left the dealership. Carvana gave me the runaround until right before my 7-day trial was over, and then said no to fixing anything. I was told I get a $200 detail, but that will only be polishing a turd.

Just do not do it. What a waste of time. Bought a car for my son. Always used Carmax and that was a mistake changing. Carvana cancelled my delivery 10 minutes before because the car now has mechanical problems and they want to deliver it a week later but could not tell me what the issue was???. The website said it was fine???? Also could not pick it up on my own in Philly and use the "Special vending machine" so they could charge me an additional $590 for delivery. Took a day off, Time to get insurance and now cancel, Transferred them 21K for about a week that they were making money off of and I was losing on. Wasted time with their notary.
Cars are hard enough to buy, they just made it a disaster. Worst part is they wanted me to settle for less of a car for the same price or buy a cheaper car. Just do not do it. Trust me. If I could give a negative rating I would. Go to Carmax. Never had an issue with them. Tried to add the receipt to be verified but they wiped it from the app in 5 minutes. Lol They are good!!!

This was a good experience. Buying a car online sight unseen was an interesting process. There were a few delays but nothing too crazy. The one draw back is that the car that was delivered was covered in dog hair and my wife is allergic. Not sure if detailing the car is an option the company can perform for the price we spend on the car but at least list it in the description so that potential buyers can have the choice to purchase and clean or just look for a new car altogether. Otherwise, our experience was good and would buy from the company again.

I had a positive interaction with customer service at this location, and the car I received was exactly as described. However, I was disappointed to find that the vehicle had not been cleaned thoroughly. During my drive home, an unpleasant odor filled the car, prompting me to investigate further once I arrived. To my dismay, I discovered signs of vomiting on both the carpet and the seats. The condition was troubling enough that I had to arrange for a professional cleaning service to shampoo the upholstery. As I continued searching for the source of the smell, I came across a toenail and a dirty disposable face mask, stained with brown marks that appeared to be vomit, hidden beneath the seats. This experience was not only unsettling but also unacceptable.

The car was delivered with faulty trunk. When I press the button at the top of the trunk then the trunk doesn't close all the way. I have to work with Silver Rock and Tesla for the same. Although it was mentioned that more than 150 checks were made for this vehicle, Carvana was unable to identify this issue

I sold my car to Carvana and this part of the process was smooth. Then I bought a car from them (same car but newer and less miles) and then paid my mechanics to inspect the car. Turns out that it had almost 10k of needed repairs, none of which were noticed in the report that was posted by Carvana. Some of these repairs were an oil leak, coolant tank replacement, front and rear brakes under 3mm, all tires had visible dry rot, control arm brushing coming apart, and a few other minor issues. I then called the warranty company SilverRock and spoke with two reps who made me feel like I would be taken care of until the last rep denied all and any claims.
I then contacted Carvana to see if they would pay for the repairs and they said it was all based on the insurance company's willingness to pay and since they said no, I could either keep the car or return it as I had 7 days. I was disappointed because in purchasing a car through them, I thought the inspection would have been more thorough. So buyer beware and make sure you take your purchase to a mechanic ASAP to ensure your inspection within the allotted 7 days. Lesson learned here the Carvana might need to do better at inspections AND their warranty company SilverRock will probably not pay for repairs.

The Carvana experience was so refreshing and smooth, I'm not sure that I could ever go back to the standard process of driving all over town, spending hours in the dealership office negotiating terms and pricing, arguing with the sales people having to bring someone with me/drop me off etc. This process was so simple, they gave me a very fair price for my trade in, and literally picked up my old vehicle and dropped off the new one into my driveway. The fact that they took care of registration, state inspection and all the paperwork also saved me from having to go to the MVA/DMV which is such a hassle in my state. From the first car catching on fire, to the 2nd car not making it, to the 3rd having lights lite up across the dash. We wondered if we were going to make it home! Save your mentality and find a different company to go through. Yet, the staff are so caring. Which I do mean. They would have to be, for knowing that lemons are being sold from this lot. The 8th day. I have experience car issues. It’s like it knew to malfunction. The car rides like I have a gas engine. I do not appreciate that whatsoever. And I just so happened to not have the warranty that is needed to take care of the suspension issue of the car. The irony. This is really disappointing. And I can not return the car. Luckily, I have experience with this. So I’ll be filing a complaint with federal circuit court.

Paperwork wasn’t correct when I went to pick it up so I had to go through a little bit of a longer process. Picked up the vehicle which wasn’t detailed and had a chip in the front window that was closed. Kept getting told go ahead and report it, but couldn’t because they didn’t turn in any of the paperwork so it wasn’t in their system that I even purchased the car. Called them up to correct it. They said they did but they messed that up somehow and it still didn’t correct in their system to the point where I have the car for approximately 10 days before somebody literally had to come and drive to my home to have me sign the correct paperwork so that I could finally get into the system and only now can I go ahead and report these issues. In theory, the place is great. In fact it didn’t quite work out so from what everyone was saying this doesn’t really happen to like 99.99% of people. I just happen to be the lucky one where nothing went right.

They don't check out the vehicles and they turn off engine lights and they get fake emissions. They accidentally left the emissions paper in my truck and it was the wrong vehicle. I called them and explained that there was a piece missing off the truck and the piece wasn't missing in the photos but when I got the truck it was missing. I called them and never heard from them. I would not trust this place they are crooked and lie. Save yourself time and money and shop elsewhere. The 100 day warranty is a joke. They will tell you nothing is wrong so Carvana don't have to fix the problem. I wish I would have read all the bad reviews before I bought this truck from them. So this is the 3rd vehicle I have bought from Carvana and it seems like Carvana is not checking vehicles very well when they are sold them. On my most recent vehicle, the transmission went out on the 2nd day. And because I have to wait for Silverrock, I won't get to drive my new vehicle for a month. You did not have any comparable vehicles available to choose from. So we are down a vehicle but we will still have to pay the payment. The last vehicle was the same.

Overall purchase went very smooth and easy to work with your team. My only complaint is the truck had no gas when I got there and your team member went to "fill it up" and that was only 1/2 tank. When someone spends 40,000+ it should come with a full tank of gas. I am also due a refund on my plates and haven't heard a peep about that either.

One week in and all 4 tires need to be replaced already. At delivery my tire pressure light was on and I reported this to the driver, who was very kind and professional by the way. He did a great job. He informed me that the tire pressure light had kept popping on during inspection and the sensor was reset so he suspected the sensors needed to be replaced so he put a ticket in documenting all of this, which I appreciated. However he told me that Carvana would email me "within 48 hours" which never happened. So within the 7 day window period I had to put a maintenance request in on my own about this. In the week I have owned the car the tire pressure light has gone on and off constantly and the tires are very loud when I drive.
I scheduled the appointment at one of Carvana's approved facilities, Firestone. We take it in today for the appointment and within seconds of laying eyes on my car the mechanic immediately recognized that it needs new tires. The mechanic explained to me that the tires are cupping and that would explain the loudness that comes from the tires as I'm driving as well as the tire pressure light keeps going on and off. The mechanic got on the ground to point of the pattern of dust and clean parts on the tire showing where it is skipping and literally parts of the tires are not even touching the ground. He did a further inspection and identified that the sensors are all fine but the car needs 4 tires and an alignment.
Clearly these tires are extremely worn down, which was not done by me in the week I've owned it. So I am beyond frustrated that this is evening happening. How could a 150 point inspection that is alleged to have happened miss that 4 tires need to be replaced? You put me in an unsafe and unreliable vehicle and now I'm without transportation until this can be remedied through SilverRock. I bought a car because I needed transportation and now a week later I'm without transportation again.
I feel this is absolutely and completely unacceptable and so off-putting. I do appreciate the quality assurance person who I did speak to at customer service who validated my frustrations and agreed that this should never have been missed. Carvana knew the sensor kept going on yet couldn't check the tires? Unacceptable. I'm extremely disappointed and frustrated. I'm booked to go on vacation this week as well and I currently am worried my car will not be fixed in time or that I will be required to pay any sum of money towards a repair that shouldn't be needed.

This is a different sort of purchase experience for me, and there are pluses and minuses to it. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and the process. There is one thing that I would point out that could affect your purchase, if the vehicle/part was more visible or if there was a little more detail. For example, the vehicle I purchased is in great shape. It appears and looks like it was well taken care of. The tires though are at or just above the bare minimum tread depth. Maybe I missed it if you said that the tread depth was only 4/32 seconds. This is a $1200 purchase. This could sway the purchase of this vehicle to another similar vehicle. Maybe that’s important to me, but other people may not find it important. I think though, overall you are on the right track and I would definitely purchase another vehicle from Carvana.

The Process started with me paying in full for a 2024 Nissan Rogue, my wife and I were extremely excited about it. After receiving 3 delays covering the span of 3 weeks after original delivery date/pickup date. We finally received our vehicle, come to find out the passenger seatbelt did not work, it would move from the original spot so there was no way to buckle it. The back wiper had no blade on it and there was an electrical issue where radio would shut off and on randomly. So, after just 2 days with the Nissan Rogue I sent it back and picked out another vehicle which was a 2017 Ford Explorer which was a great car mechanically and well taken care of except for one issue. Driving on the Freeway/Highway the pillar on the windshield broke off and flew into another car, then pieces of the underbody plastic started coming off and the amount of dry rot on door seals was too much to handle, so we sent it back.
Finally, I said 3 strikes and you're out, so we tried one last time, we sent the Explorer back and got a 2017 Ford Edge and this vehicle is CLEAN but had a check engine light and dead battery. They fixed it before the delivery which was delayed 2 times. Received the vehicle and fell in love. 2 days after receiving the Ford Edge the check engine light came on and the car started to shut off anytime I would come to an idle. They offered to fix it through SilverRock, and it just so happened that the local firestone was in network, and I had to pay nothing, but the car was in the shop for 5 days and just like that my 7-day money back guarantee was gone, and it was officially our vehicle. The original purchase was for 24,000. The second purchase was for 17,000. The final and 3rd purchase was for somewhere around 18,000
I was owed 5,021$ as a refund due to original payment of 24,000 being more than the purchase of 18,000. They can see the refund owed based off everyone I spoke to and still have to review the account and purchases (which takes 5-7 business days) and then when they make the check, they ship it STANDARD SHIPPING, not EXPEDITED or even SIGNATURE REQUIRED for a check of 5,000$ (which takes an additional 10-15 BUSINESS DAYS), once you get the check you also have to wait on bank approve and release funds which brings it roughly to 30 DAYS of estimated wait time for money owed.
Frustrating: Yes. Bad Customer Service: No, every phone call and chat I had with them was beyond professional and understanding. Bad Ownership/Management: Don't know, but their policies are a joke and just don't even go down the road. This company is a joke and full of greed and care nothing about the consumer/customer. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THEM. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

The process was quick & easy, the car was delivered in 24 hrs. I will say, ALWAYS double check the service team. I discovered they had overflowed the oil by a full quart...After I had made a 300 miles trip. Also they obviously didn't check the air filter, it looked like a bird's nest. Apparently some aftermarket exhaust work was done (undisclosed) and I purchased a FORD and received a HYUNDAI key fob that fell apart. Looked like it had been stepped on. Button for lock mechanism literally fell out. Not covered because there was a picture of the fob in with the car pictures. No logo or emblem. I only know it’s a Hyundai fob because my son works on cars. Threw a code after I had it 2 days. It went off, so hoping that was a fluke. It’s true you never know what you’re getting when you buy used. I would not necessarily recommend Carvana because I would have still preferred to test drive it before committing to a purchase.

I had trouble getting in touch with customer service about the condition of car. It was delivered a week late and the four tires on it were dry rotted and 4 years old. The tire alignment was extremely out of whack. I took to out of network mechanic that I trust. He looked it over. I would like to be reimbursed but the warranty customer service was not helpful.

I have purchased 5 cars from Carvana. Each has been fantastic. This time was very different. I am very disappointed this time around. Car arrived with completely unsafe tires. They were dry-rotted, unevenly worn and also even had visible steel belts showing through. When I reached out to Carvana to address, they told me that I would have to located and drive car to a service facility to submit a "warranty claim". Car was unsafe to drive anywhere other than to the tire shop. I ended up having to spend $1400 out of pocket for new tires to make sure the car was safe to drive. There is NO possible way that these tires were inspected by anyone, regardless of what the 150pt checklist says.
It makes me question how thorough the rest of the check truly was. I should NEVER have been sold car that is not roadworthy and I should have NEVER stuck holding a $1400 bill to correct the issue. The proper response would have been for Carvana to reimburse me to the money out of my pocket, but I was told that would not happen.

I purchased a vehicle from Carvana that clearly was not inspected at all. I had the vehicle delivered on Saturday 7/5 and took it into a shop first thing Monday 7/7 to discover it has multiple issues. Bad Torque Converter (after a previous one was already replaced, though this isn't always the easiest to diagnose). This is a code being returned by the vehicle and can be heard in the cabin as a rattling sound. Very well known with 2013 Honda CRVs. A completely broken and sheared off rear sway bar link that is plainly visible to anyone underneath the vehicle with eyes that something is broken even without training. And a severe leak in the shift shaft seal of the transmission. None of these were disclosed prior to purchase despite claims of inspections being done.
They charge a 1k shipping fee that they claim is non refundable, this amounts to false advertising as I would never have made the purchase and incurred the shipping fee had they actually done an inspection and disclosed the condition properly. The insurance company Silver Rock was notified of the issues by 10:30 am on Monday Morning, and it is now 4 pm on Thursday and they won't commit to paying to fix the issue, the final day to return the vehicle is Tomorrow. This whole experience has been a massive pain to go without a vehicle and deal with what is clear incompetence from Carvana inspections on top of being out a vehicle this entire time. Stay away from Carvana, the "hassle" saved from not dealing with a dealership is not worth the hassle you gain from the lack of proper disclosure of issues from Carvana itself.

Every interaction I had with a representative of Carvana was so pleasant! Everyone was kind, professional, and respectful. The only hiccup I had was when trying to upload some of the documents. But a member of the Carvana team helped figure out a workaround so my delivery date wouldn't be delayed. I will not purchase another vehicle from Carvana, nor will I recommend them. The ONLY pleasant experience was the delivery driver. He was great. The car arrived with unlisted damage, filthy, and the interior had not been cleaned at all. I spent hours cleaning the inside, put in a repair request for the unreported damage, which got approved. Unfortunately, when I called the only garage listed as a "preferred provider" in my area, they informed me that they refuse to work on any Carvana Cars, as they do not pay for the repairs and claim that they are forced to cut corners for cheap fixes.
I called SilverRock and they told me I would have to travel more than an hour to another garage for the repairs, which is unfeasible because the repairs needed would take time and I would be stranded an hour away for days??? Since the damage was not structural, I do not qualify for a rental during that time. I don't know how you are still in business. The Lemon Law was explicitly made for crooks like you, and I don't think you will last long at this current pace.

⚠️ BEWARE of Carvana, SilverRock & Bridgecrest ⚠️. I purchased a 2019 Ford Expedition Max from Carvana on May 2, 2025, for $25,990. Within one week it broke down and has been at the Ford dealership undrivable since May 9 — over 2 months! Carvana only offered to buy it back for $17,600, leaving me stuck with thousands in debt and no vehicle. My $2,400 trade-in is gone, I can’t register it in Georgia, and the warranty expires August 8. SilverRock and Carvana keep blaming each other, and Bridgecrest still wants payment for a loan on a broken vehicle.
I’ve filed complaints with the GA Attorney General, BBB, and CFPB and am pursuing legal options. Carvana is ignoring me and hoping I’ll give up. We bought a car from Carvana thinking we were making a smart, convenient purchase. Less than a month later, the vehicle had a major mechanical issue—a complete lemon. To make matters worse, the warranty company they partner with, SilverRock, has been absolutely horrible to deal with. Instead of fixing the issue quickly and properly, SilverRock dragged out the process. They sent a used, refurbished part to the BMW dealership instead of authorizing the correct OEM part. When the dealership confirmed the part was wrong, SilverRock unbelievably asked them to modify the incorrect part—something no reputable service center would ever agree to. They still haven’t authorized the correct repair, and we’re now stuck without a vehicle.
We’ve already used all the rental reimbursement in the first week, and now we have no loaner and no fix in sight. Meanwhile, Carvana is nowhere to be found—no follow-up, no help, just a shrug after selling us a defective vehicle backed by a useless warranty. This experience has been completely unprofessional and stressful. Carvana talks a big game about convenience and peace of mind, but the moment something goes wrong, you’re on your own. Avoid Carvana—and definitely avoid SilverRock.

Hello Carvana, I really like the car that was delivered to but there are a few things wrong with the car such as the bottom front undercarriage has been damaged when the car was delivered I believe from the loading and unloading of the car on your transport vehicle. Also the air conditioning evaporating coil is leaking back into the passenger floor at very rapid rate and has the front passenger floor extremely wet and will not dry because every time I use the air conditioner it breaks and keeps the floor very wet. Can you please tell me what needs to be done in order to repair these issues?... Thank you.

The process of finding and purchasing a car through Carvana was initially smooth. The website was easy to navigate, and the delivery went as scheduled. However, things quickly unraveled after the car arrived. Wanting to be thorough, I had the vehicle independently inspected during the return window. To my shock, the rear tires were 12 years old and visibly dry-rotting, and the front driver’s side tire had a slow leak. These are basic safety concerns that should have been caught in any legitimate pre-sale inspection.
Trying to get support was incredibly frustrating. Carvana is nearly impossible to contact directly—long phone holds, automated responses, and impersonal text messages make the process feel like a runaround. I was told to take the car to an “authorized” repair shop for tire evaluation and that their warranty company would handle it. That led nowhere—the shop had no clue what I was talking about, and I couldn’t reach the warranty provider either.
After wasting more time on the phone, I physically drove to a local Carvana location. I was told it was appointment only and no one could help me—but fortunately, a kind employee and manager did come out. They agreed the tires were in bad shape, but said they were “technically within acceptable range” (again—12 years old). I was told the warranty would not cover replacement or repairs and that returning the car was my only real option.
Bottom line: Carvana’s “inspection standards” are not aligned with normal expectations of safety or service. I paid well above KBB value for low mileage, and was willing to accept that tradeoff—but not at the expense of safety and integrity. Between the poor communication, lack of accountability, and disappointing quality of inspection, I will never do business with Carvana again.

I don’t know why anyone would go to a dealer for a used car. The 7 day trial period allows a proper test drive and mechanical inspection. Told everyone I know who is looking to try Carvana. Only issue, I noticed a small crack in windshield, and website said it was cosmetic and couldn't help since tech drive off already. Why are stickies put on the front of the car? shouldn't I have been informed about it or suggested to have the front of the plate given so it can inside the car at least. Because of course with stickies they will fall over time. Just do be next time so someone else doesn't have to go through that.

I purchased the car through Carvana. Ordered it at 10 PM on a Wednesday and it was delivered 10 am on the next day. I traded in a 2012 Hyundai Elantra with 85,000 miles. Pretty good deal. They dropped off the new car and took the trade in at the same time. Great experience. I would recommend this to anyone. It was a great experience, a very nice car, and a good value. The purchase was quick and easy. When they drop if off they give you plenty of time to look it over, test drive, ask questions, etc. If you don’t like it, just tell them to take it back. If you keep it, you then have 7 days to return it with no questions asked. After that, you have a full 100 day warranty. After that, I get the KIA warranty for two years.

When I buy something for $60k, and you tell me it will be delivered on a certain date, and fail to do so you look unprofessional and like a liar. The buyer is such a tiny spec on your business model you couldn’t care less. You get the money and on to the next one. I missed two days work because of this delay that with honest communication wouldn’t have been a big deal. I’m telling everyone that Carvana does not care about the individual consumer at the lowest level but just another company going after the bottom dollar and to hell with anyone who gets stepped on in the process. I used Carvana once and I’ll never do it again. I’ll tell everyone forever to just go to a dealership and deal with their lies in person as opposed to your lies on the internet. $590 to have a car delivered two business days late will never happen again to me or a single person I can influence against you. The car was damaged before it even got to me. The gauge cluster was permanently chemically etched from a careless detailing job — you can’t even read it clearly in daylight. Despite being told that, they told me it just needed to be cleaned. Large bumper damage was “repaired” with white-out, not actual paint. None of this was in the original listing. They left trailer locks on the car but didn’t include the keys. I spent hours with their customer service, jumping through hoops to submit photos — every attempt somehow counted against me as “more issues.” That’s not advocacy. That’s obstruction.
The warranty? Absolutely meaningless. If something happens after the sale but before delivery, Carvana takes zero responsibility. Want to talk to someone about it? Good luck. You’ll be promised leadership call-backs that never happen and “resolutions” that lead nowhere. Returning the car was offered — but only if I was willing to take a huge financial hit for their screw-up. Even if we refund the shipping cost at this point, it’s only for a Carvana credit so you’re still left dealing with the same shady company. The message was clear: take the loss and another gamble, or live with the damage. Carvana wraps itself in the image of modern convenience and trust, but behind the app is the same shady dealership nonsense, just with a corporate gloss and no accountability. Never again.

There may be some issues with wobbly brake discs, and I plan to get them checked by a local mechanic before I put too many miles on this car. Everything went really smoothly! They gave me an offer on my Camry and the price was the same when I came in to trade the car for a Tesla. I was able to sign my documents ahead of time which is really nice. Once I got there, the process was very quick. My car was delivered as promised! The only thing that kind of irritated me was that later on, when I was driving my new Tesla, I noticed when the sun came on out, all the windows in the car were very smeared and cloudy. I bought a car in March of this year and it was very easy. They handled everything and were very communicative. Way easier than going to a dealership or private seller. Not to mention a 100 day warranty. Where are you going to get that? Unfortunately, I had to use that warrantee. On day 97 of 100, the car had an issue. Silver Rock, the warrantee company was great. Helped me find an "in network" shop and then another one when they couldn't find the issue. When the second shop couldn't help, they approved going to the dealership and authorized the in network deductible even though dealer was not in network. They paid all three places to evaluate the issue. It turned out to be a significant problem.
Here is where Carvana excelled. They got me in contact with their executive resolution team and worked diligently to resolve to my satisfaction. It was not without its challenges to be sure but they were dogged in getting it resolved. My representative Pete worked tirelessly to get through those challenges. He was professional, tenacious, and communicative. Bottom line: The company takes customer satisfaction seriously! I am grateful and will be a repeat customer.

Highly disappointed. Canceled my delivery in the middle of a 11am - 2pm drop-off and said there was a nail in the tire and can't deliver for 4 more days. I put $15,000 down and if I cancel it takes 15 days to get my money back. I feel this is their normal, get your cash and then screw you up and down. Just go to a dealership and don't get scammed.

My review is for Carvana. A torture from beginning to end. I picked out a used car. From the beginning they pressure you to finish within a day or two. It was a total nighmare to deal with. Some of the applications on the Carvana site didn't work correctly. I couldnt understand 3 of the 4 people I talked to on the phone. I never felt like I was talking to a person in charge of anything. I kept saying, "Is there even a boss?" After much torture (I don't have enough room to tell you the maddening dealings with this company) I finally got my car.
The guy who delivered it said, "You only get one key…." Come to find out the other key was in the glove box and my car could have been stolen the first few days. I made an appointment as soon as I could with the local Toyota dealership, which was 7 days out. They found out the window mechanics had to be fixed as the window wouldn't roll up. Then they found the battery was almost dead. Both had to be replaced. I barely got the complaint in to Carvana before the 7 day deadline. Then they had the NERVE To tell me I had a $350.00 deductible on my car repairs! I should have told them "come and pick up the car". I was furious.

Of course was hesitant about buying a vehicle I could not see prior to purchasing. I pulled the trigger and completed all necessary steps and was happy with the terms through Carvana. Vehicle had detailed photos of most little dings and chips. Shipping was quick and painless. Vehicle arrived right on time. Carvana gives you 7 days for you to decide if you want the vehicle or not and allows you to swap for another one of you are unhappy with the vehicle delivered.
The only thing that could of been better is more detailed information on their 180 point inspection. Was thrilled with the vehicle, but did notice a lot more chips and cracks in the windshield that were not mentioned (Will need new windshield). Also front brakes are below 50% and car was pretty dirty and not detailed inside. Very minor things for an online purchase, but that's is the only reason I did not rate a 5-star review. Everything was smooth and painless. It took way less time than going through a dealership and continuously having to wait for the "sales manager" to approve every single little thing, lol. I recommend buying a car through Carvana. Delivery was on time and the driver was excellent. I had a good experience and will probably return here for my next car.

The car was delivered with three engine lights and not drivable. I drove it for a few blocks and the ABS, ESP, and a transmission light came on. The car went on Limb Mode and couldn’t accelerate nor shift gears. The RPMs wouldn’t go up. Complete loss of strength. I had to pull over, restart the car. And try again, and again, and again. Until I made it back home. Sure, they did a 150 point inspection and didn’t even test the car for drivability. What kind of mechanic doesn’t test their work? Not the good ones. And what 150 point inspection doesn’t reveal three engine lights? Apparently Carvana’s.
The codes were cleared without fixing the problems. I can’t trust a company that’s comfortable with sending cars in these conditions to a customer after allegedly ensuring that everything was functional and having delayed the delivery for the undisclosed conditions that later became apparent after only driving it for little over a minute. Reason I returned the vehicle.

Between the lack of test drive, the paperwork signed sight unseen, and the lack of coordination to smooth out red tape, the whole process inspires no confidence in the experience. Basically you have to take Carvana's word at a "trust me bro" level. Where car sales has historically be filled with a stereotype of sketchy sleazeballs and unprofessional behavior, Carvana does nothing to fix or compensate for this image.

This was my first time buying from Carvana. This has to be the best car-buying experience I have ever had. There was no sitting in a dealership all day haggling with a salesperson to get the deal they should have given you when you walked through the door. The car arrived and looked just like was shown. It had 3/4 tank of gas and had been washed before arrival. I would definitely buy a car from Carvana again.

I had been searching for months to no avail. Due to the vehicle getting sold or the car not being in good shape in person. Carvana made it as easy and fast as possible to get on the road. Every part of the process was seamless and direct. Car arrived and was in even better shape then the photos. Highly recommend using this service if you are at a stalemate in your vehicle hunting.

Have had the car only a week today. It has had multiple issues from the A/C to not starting. When I purchase a vehicle I expect it to be in good working condition especially if there was a so called multipoint inspection done before it got to me. The automated emails and data verification process in place don't work. It would ask me to upload the same documents four or five times and then would cancel the order and make me start again without explanation. I would talk to people on the phone and they wouldn’t tell me what I really needed to send in. One day while I was on my way to work at the hospital they told me I had two hours to show verification and a copy of the check that Carvana had received via FedEx that morning or that they would cancel the sale. At times, I was furious, and I was able to be rapidly responsive to requests (no matter how unclear), have easy access to technology, and understand how to acquire and upload all the documents. I can only imagine what customers who don’t have those resources/abilities must experience. My bank told me that Carvana was notorious for this issue. Buying a car shouldn't make you angry.

Purchased a 2021 Sonata Sel Plus. Was advertised to have sunroof, did not. Customer service was very rude. That was AI advertising it doesn't come w/ sunroof. How the hell is the buyer supposed to know that AI generates the advertising so don't believe it. There should have been an adjustment made to the price. It clearly says what you will love about this vehicle-panoramic sunroof. And of course they took until the 7th day to tell me nothing would be done. Very unhappy with Carvana and their false and deceptive advertising!

The whole process was incredibly easy. Until day 7. I have coolant fluid leak. And zero oil. The oil change sticker says I have 5000 miles to go. But no. The recall was not taken care of. And now I can't drive it until the leak gets fixed in 16 days. I'm not happy. I want my car fixed. And really some explanation as to why a known recall was not handled.

The buying process was fine. The delivery process was terrible. I took two separate days off of work and delivery was canceled both times. When car was delivered it had broken pieces that weren’t in the photos. Honestly I won’t use Carvana again. We had a great experience buying from Carvana! The delivery person had little knowledge, but I'm not they are expected to. When we had a minor cosmetic issue Carvana was quick to respond, compensated us fairly. The only suggestion I have is letting people who have their car delivered deposit a vending machine token for their car (maybe on the bed of the trailer or in the cab of the truck). Not getting the "token experience" was a bit of a letdown.

The delivery driver broke the plate frame, scratched the paint ripping it off. Left us with only one screw to attach plate, and no frame so the plate flew off the car and we’ve been pulled over three times in five days. Contacted customer service and it’s been 24 hours with no resolve to the missing plate issue.

The purchase process had no issues. The problem started after they delivered the vehicle. It came with a service check warning. Had to take the car to a service center. It was discovered that the car needed an oil change. Carvana assure us that the vehicle had undergo a 150 point check inspection before it was delivered to us. Apparently they only did 149 since the oil change was needed. We had to take the car to get the oil change done during the time we had to test drive the vehicle. We were suppose to fall in love with the car during the test drive time; not having to worry about in what condition the vehicle was. We were worried that the purchase we were making was not the right one. My wife loved the car and that is the reason we kept it. I would advice Carvana to make a better job in inspecting the vehicles so the customers do not have to worry about their purchase. Other than that everything was ok. .

My recent experience with Carvana has been an absolute disaster, turning what should have been an exciting car purchase into a never-ending nightmare. If you're considering Carvana, save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. It all started when I tried to sell a truck I bought from Carvana a few years ago. After moving and updating my address with them, Carvana failed to update my address with the bank. When I paid off the loan, the title was sent to my old address. Carvana sent me a lien release, but my current DMV won't accept it, demanding a title from my original state – which is impossible for me to get.
When Carvana came to pick up the truck for a sale to them, their driver refused to take the vehicle without the physical title, even though their own mistake caused the issue! So, I'm stuck with a truck I can't easily sell, all because Carvana couldn't manage a simple address update. Adding insult to injury, I bought another vehicle from Carvana last week. I literally just drove it for one day, and guess what? The tire pressure indicator lit up. This comes after the car already had electrical issues that needed immediate mechanic attention right after delivery. It's truly unbelievable.
I went into this process expecting a smooth trade-in and a reliable new car. Instead, I'm left with a vehicle I can't sell, a brand-new purchase already having problems, and an immense amount of frustration. Carvana's lack of accountability for their mistakes and the poor quality of their vehicles is astounding. My advice? Steer clear of Carvana if you value your time, money, and sanity.

The vehicle was well represented but it was not very clean. The carpet had carpet cleaner residue, there was quite a bit of tree sap, and it looked like after it went through a carwash it was driven through a muddy puddle. None of the glass was cleaned at all. Very happy with the vehicle.

Got vehicle with 1/4 tank of diesel. Def needed change. Frame on the truck was rusted and needed a lot of work. Trade and pickup went smooth but very unsatisfied with the condition of the vehicle I received. All of the issues should've been disclosed as well as manufacturer recalls closed out prior to sale.

The first car I bought had been repaired and badly, and that wasn't shown in the online description. There were a few minor scratches in the paint that were highlighted in the advert, but I'm not sure how the fingerprints in the paint and the overspray in various places were overlooked by an inspector. Carvana sold us a '22 Ford Explorer with a fake 2nd key that won't even unlock the door. They refuse to replace it because their "SilverRock" warranty provider doesn't warranty against their own fraud. Ford wants $500 for a real key. They also refuse to replace the silver tips on the window buttons that fell off in the first week, one of which was also a fake. Another $500 repair. The original equipment Pirelli tires have only 1/16th in. tread left, on a car sold with 26K miles, indicating the odometer was probably rolled back. They're $400 apiece. Never buy a car sight unseen from Carvana.

We purchased a 2022 Bronco and traded in a 4Runner with Carvana on 6/21/25. I must say, there is a huge difference in the customer service ON THE PHONE versus the DELIVERY DRIVER. Over the phone - they were rushing and annoying. The delivery driver is why you are being rated so highly… Jasmine was our delivery driver and what a wonderful employee she is. Refreshing to deal with someone like her! Buying a car is an exciting, but also stressful process. Jasmine's helpful and cheerful attitude made us feel like she was just as excited as we were. She is professional and personable and we truly appreciate her kindness.

Everything went smoothly. I had to replace all 4 tires 2 days after receiving the car, the tread depth was low and I kept getting a warning from my Tesla about my tires. $708.00 dollars later and I’m always driving my car, I don’t even drive my other cars anymore. I picked up my truck Friday June 20th. Process for trading in a vehicle and buying a vehicle is quick and easy. To start out it’s worth mentioning this is my 3rd vehicle from Carvana. First thing I noticed was the rear tires were damn near bald, they’re dry rotted and the passenger side tire had a gash in it. For a $40k truck with 37,404 miles shouldn’t have tires this bad! I didn’t bring it up because the tires Caravana would put on I’d be replacing anyway! My Ram did have minor damage reported on the Carfax. Whoever did the repair did a half assed job. Overall I like my Ram!

I read so many reviews about Carvana. The motto, "We'll Drive You Happy," is NOT the case. In April, I picked out a Jeep, took off twice from work for delivery and it never came. I contacted Carvana and was told to pick out another Jeep. I picked out another Jeep and when it finally came, it had so many cosmetic defects along with the check engine light on that I contacted them to replace the Jeep with another Jeep. The 3rd Jeep drove okay until the check engine light came on and it overheated. I took it to the shop under the warranty and was told I needed a new engine. I have missed so much time from work, called and texted over 50 times, am out of a car and limited rental up to 600 dollars.
I made my first car payment and the car is in the shop with a blown engine. That 5-point inspection is NOT what the consumer thinks. These cars are going from a person to the next person with little inspection. There is no way I should have ever gotten the 2nd or 3rd Jeep, both with the check engine lights on. Then, needing an engine for a car, I had less than 38 days. I had to call several people to get them to pick up the 2nd Jeep that sat at my home for a month. Then I drove the second car to a HUB to get it back to the company. The person helping me put it back on the listing as available for purchase. I was stunned. I said, "That car should not be sold to anyone. I will never purchase a car from them again. Please get your own warranty outside of what is offered. I can't even make Lemonade with this lemon.

This was my first time using Carvana and the process is very simple and easy. The pre-approved monthly was really nice to be able to look at and gauge what I could afford. Although my delivery was delayed, I live in a very small far town so it’s understandable. After receiving the car I did hear a noise that prompted me to return it. Everyone I talked to was very helpful, Especially a woman name Joanna, giving me solutions and things I could do. Really helped me in any way possible. If I could give Carvana zero Stars I would. I went through one vehicle. I had a 7-Day review. That vehicle was blown. I returned it. I got a second vehicle a 2018 Dodge Journey SE. Drove this vehicle for just under a year and the transmission completely goes out. I called them Carvana. The car only has 65,000 miles on it. They said the warranty ran out at 64,000. I called the warranty company. They won't help me. I called the company itself Carvana and they gave me the runaround and I tried to contact the CEO of Carvana and of course I could. I contacted nobody. Nobody got back in contact with me so it's a dead-end Street.
My advice. I wasted all my extra spare money on a lemon of a car. Don't ever do business with Carvana. They will lie to you. They will cheat you. They will steal from you. They will do anything they can to get your money. Then they'll sell you the product. They will keep your title to the vehicle until it's paid off and if you get a lemon you will never see the title and then if you fall behind on car payments like I have. Because the car is a lemon I'm having a hard time getting from point A to point B to job to earn a paycheck. I fell behind on car payments and insurance. My life is falling apart because I bought a lemon of a car and nobody wants to help me get it fixed. I called a Master Mechanic. I told him all about this car and he said, "Take it across the scale and keep the money."
If Carvana is going to do me this way then take the car. Take it across the scale. Once I get another dependable car and keep all the money that I get from it screw carvana over like they have done me. I ** carvana out. I yelled at him. I screamed at him. They did no such thing in any way shape or form to help me. I am begging you. If you value your money in this stuff inflation record high economy do not do business with Carvana. When trying to PU my vehicle the delivery agent kept asking for a document I had, or thought I had, completed. Only after 2 hours of trying to resolve the issue, and a call to Customer Service was the issue correctly identified and corrected. When the car was finally delivered it only had a 1/2 tank of gas instead of the FULL tank as advertised. I received NO instructions on operating the auto which was dismaying.

Went to return and exchange a vehicle. Delayed an hour and a half and was rushed through the final process. Vehicle was decent. Clean but had maintenance reminders for wheel rotation, oil and filter change and changing air filters. Air filters were old and there are signs of mice living inside, loose insulation inside the cabin air filter and also in the engine bay. Noticed two weeks later the driver side mirror is broken and the vent fan is jammed and does not work. There were also more cosmetic dings that weren't mentioned on the listing.

Maybe Carvana is good if you can close the purchase within a few seconds. The reservation timer was still counting down while I was on the phone working on insurance and when I went back to get information Carvana made the vehicle unavailable. When this was brought up to Carvana's support all they could offer was to tell me to find another one. They really don't care, maybe they were better before they got too big as they don't care now.

Horrible experience all the way around! First off, the company used pictures from another car and did not disclose several issues with the car online. This is very shady anytime, but when you are purchasing online it's worse. Then, the person who got the car for me told me I would have a week to fix any issues, but Carvana would not let me get reimbursed for a chipped windshield or some undisclosed damage to the cargo area. My mechanic also broke the news that the suspension fluid "was leaking like crazy" and if I drove it this could do damage to the suspension system.
The claim provider, SilverRock, was very incompetent and didn't approve the claim for 3.5 days and several calls from myself and my mechanic. I also had to pay a deductible for a mechanical problem that the Carvana mechanics missed. I've only had the car for two weeks (it was in the shop for most of this time), so we will see, but I could not be more disappointed already. I do not recommend working with this incompetent and unethical business.

I was initially a big fan of Carvana and had a great experience during the purchasing process this was actually my second vehicle purchase with them. However, after purchasing a 2020 Mercedes GLC 300 in March 2025, the reliability of the vehicle and the post-sale support left a lot to be desired. Since purchasing the car, I’ve had the same issue (a rail sensor malfunction) twice, once in April and again in June. Despite having a warranty through SilverRock, the repair process was long, confusing, and frustrating. The first time, the authorized service center didn’t offer a loaner, leaving me without transportation for a week. The second time, a different shop couldn't fix the issue, and it had to be escalated to a dealership, again taking days to resolve.
What made the situation worse was the lack of support from Carvana directly. When I reached out, the representative simply told me to go through the warranty and offered no real help or empathy. Meanwhile, I’m making timely payments on what is becoming a very unreliable and stressful vehicle to own. It’s disappointing to pay a premium price for a car that’s had multiple issues so soon after purchase, especially when there's little accountability or follow-up from the seller. I expected better from Carvana—especially as a repeat customer.

Overall, the purchasing experience was easy and smooth. Easy to get financing approved and digitally sign paperwork without needing an agent. HOWEVER, my biggest dissatisfaction was at the time of delivery when I was inspecting the car. It simply was not clean! Does Carvana not detail, or at the minimum, wipe the dust off the dash?! Dust and little marks from shoes etc, were all over the car and the exterior had water spots and unknown media stuck to the paint. I had to immediately clean it before my fiancé saw it. Besides that, the car seems to run fine, haven’t found any major red flags.

The customer service rep I worked with in Novi MI was great. My disappointment was with the 150 point inspection Carvana has. My vehicle had low fluid levels such as the coolant and the interior overall was dirty. There was leaves and dirt piled up on either side of the rear liftgate. I spent hours cleaning this vehicle. Besides this, it was an overall positive experience.

Found a vehicle that my wife liked on Carvana website. Went through the hoops of getting proper paperwork done and submitted... With a document that needed changed, we were assured with a deposit that we paid that car would be reserved in one day. Got document corrected. Called back and they told us that the car was no longer available and was sold! WTF! THEN, called customer service and put on hold for hrs!! BS!

I must admit I was very skeptical of the advertised process. But once I started it was clean and seamless all the way through. Everything was excellent from start to finish. The selection was terrific. I was able to get a 2023 Camry when I was told Corolla at most other places. Most of all I was able to reestablish my credit.

Everything was very easy, I was very happy to have the vehicle delivered. The lady who delivered our new car and picked up the trade-in was so sweet. The only thing I wish could be changed is to waive the 7-day return policy to have the registration expedited. I need our registration ASAP to refinance, but after the website telling me it could be expedited, each agent I got on the chat said no. Even after the 7-day return period, the site says let us know if you need registration expedited, but when you ask, you're told no.

My car was exactly as described. All of the information online was so helpful. The car was immaculate when delivered. Aaron, our delivery guy, was fantastic! Told us everything. Knew about the car and where things were that we weren't familiar with. Checked out our trade-in. Was so thorough about everything we asked. Great experience! I would buy through Carvana again!

I would give my overall experience a three at best. I like my vehicle, however, there were a few things that were annoying. Communication was poor, it was unclear at times what to do next. The uploading of documents was a bit cumbersome. My insurance agent was not sure how to add Carvana as the financier, and it was not clear in the documents given or on the website.
I received a vehicle without the front emblem on the vehicle, even though it had one in the pictures advertised. I contacted Carvana for a replacement, but they refused because it was "a removable part". I really didn't like the insinuation that it was me that removed it. Carvana also said that it could have happened during transport, and they are not responsible for that. Carvana delivered my truck from a Carvana hub. It really left a sour taste in my mouth, so much so I didn't bring up the other ding in the door they did not disclose. I may use Carvana again, but at least my expectations will be lower.

If the sale is straightforward I'm sure this is fine, but I had an issue where I thought my appraisal was low because I had the engine replaced. Dealing with them was like banging my head against the wall. Different customer service folks told me different things, but the unifying thread was that they didn't seem to actually read my question before commenting. For example, when I explained my situation to someone and told them I had already gotten an offer the entire response was "Are you looking to sell?" I understand that their business model needs to be one-size-fits-all, which is fine, but if they had given me clearer answers I wouldn't have wasted 2 days trying to get an answer.

After years of research and indecision, I somewhat impulsively ordered a Ford Maverick on Carvana after only perusing the listing for a few minutes. I knew I'd be able to return the vehicle if I didn't like it, so that made the decision easy. The purchase involved a lot of steps, and the price offered for my potential trade-in was so low as to be a total waste of my time. But overall, it was seamless and quick. I was able to pay by bank transfer with less effort than I've ever spent on any major transaction prior to this one. I purchased the 2-year service plan. Though I am still not certain it's going to go to good use, it seemed like a smart decision that would pay back its value in one service visit if the car has any major malfunctions in the first two years. That said, the vehicle seems to be in excellent condition for its mileage, and the value seems in-line with today's car market.
Picking up the car was a bit of a hassle. I had to pay for shipping but still had to travel to a Carvana location 45 minutes away. When I arrived 10 minutes early for my appointment, there was no one at reception, and several employees came and went without acknowledging my presence. Another customer was waiting before me, and she completed her entire purchase before anyone so much as looked me in the eye. After that point, a staffer came to the desk and allowed me to check in, but still more waiting ensued as he left the room several times to grab required papers. There was a mini-fridge in the lobby with a sign on it saying it was for customers only, but it was empty. I liked that there was no sales pressure, but the lackadaisical customer service put a damper on what could have been a great experience.

Such a great experience, start to finish! Viewing and finding cars was super easy. The comprehensive details and images are helpful in selecting a vehicle. Then, the purchase only took 45 minutes to complete versus the 3-4 hours you’d spend in a dealership! The car arrived, we got to drive it before signing. The 7 day, money back policy is clutch for giving confidence in using Carvana! Oh - and I didn’t even mention that the car was $3000 less than anywhere else and in excellent condition! Carvana took online car buying to the next level. All questions and concerns about buying a car online are addressed and expectations were exceeded by Carvana! Great experience!! Probably never shopping for cars any other way!

The experience has been great so far. The vehicle arrived clean and smelling good. Johnny was super nice and knowledgeable about the process. The drop off was quick and convenient.
