    I informed you in writing that my car was delivered with a lot more paint chip and scratch damage than you all had disclosed online. I informed you that my driver took photos of all of the additional paint damage, including several scratches and chips that were seen from 5’ away. You all noted that my driver’s photos would be reviewed and that I would hear back in 24-48 hours. NEVER HAPPENED! I have all this in writing!!     I have now purchased 2 cars through Carvana, completely issue-free. The first time I ended up taking advantage of the 7 days and was able to try 2 cars, this last time I went with the first car I found, and I love it!! Easy application and financing process, didn’t have to leave the comfort of my home, and when I came across an undisclosed issue, Carvana made an exception to cover it.     I had to drop 600 bucks the 1st day owning it. Car dealerships would have taken care of it before I left with the car. I will not be buying any other car from Carvana. It was looks like in the inside was barely cleaned. I think there was blood on the inside of the car.

    My experience was not like my first Carvana purchase. I had to return the vehicle and the 2nd vehicle I received had a key fan that was given to me that didn’t work along with a nail in the tire.     I haven't even received a vehicle yet from Carvana, but they have taken my money and the process was the most frustrating car buying process I've ever had and I've bought sold 20+ vehicles in my lifetime. Unless they perform some miracle by delivery, this will be the first and last car I ever buy from them. The first car I reserved through their system and spoke with an advocate who placed a 72 hour hold on the car while I gathered the cash together to pay for it. With 24 hours still remaining, I tried to finalize the process only to find out the car was no longer available, but had to speak with an advocate again to find that out who couldn't give me any reason why it happened. My sense is that someone who worked for Carvana wanted the car for themselves and thus bought it out from under me. Good bye car #1.

    The second car I finally got over the hump is the one I'm current waiting on. However, even after finalizing the purchase, the terms of the deal changed and without telling me refunded most of the cash I was putting down and then moved the remaining balance under a 12% 72 month loan with them. Not only is this a highly suspect business practice, but once it went through underwriting they quietly lowered the value of my trade-in by $1000, without calling out any changes to the original agreement. I guess they just hope that most people don't read the final contract.

    I called Carvana for resolution and while they fixed the amount refunded and was able to apply my full down payment (of course they'll take my money), they were not willing to do anything to recover this sale. So I have 24-36 hours or so to sit on it and unless Carvana comes back with something to change my mind, I'll be cancelling the order and will never consider Carvana again.

    This entire process felt like disorganized chaos. The only simple part was picking up my vehicle. We purchased a vehicle Tuesday night. I sent up financing at a local bank the next morning. I made an appt for Friday to go into the bank to sign off on the loan and receive the check. Made my appt for Sunday night to pick up my new vehicle and trade in my old one. Carvana set a 12pm deadline for the loan verification on Friday. I chatted and called to explain I would have the documentation by 4 Friday. They would only extend the deadline to 2pm, which was not helpful. I missed that deadline and my appt for Sunday pick up was cancelled.

    I submitted the docs 430 Friday and chatted with an advocate who told me I was good to reschedule my pick up. Made an appt for Monday at 5pm. I got a call Saturday at 220 from an advocate trying to call the bank to verify financing. I was extremely frustrated as the bank was obviously closed. I was told my appt for Monday would be cancelled even if they verified with the bank first thing Monday morning. I was assured I would receive a call Monday morning. No one called Monday morning. Instead I got a text at 1040 am telling me I had until 1:24 pm to verify my financing or they would cancel my Tuesday appt. So I had to call carvana and ask an advocate to call my bank.

    This also led to me having to make two different phone calls to my insurance company to change dates of adding and removing vehicles. Which was a waste of time and frustrating. It was as if I was punished for not using Carvana’s financing which was much higher than our local bank. The advocates on chat would assure me that I had all my paperwork done but yet I would receive a call and cancelled appt that said otherwise.

    We had to ask and confirm if I should bring my trade in to pick up or if that would happen at another date. Carvana told me I had to contact the BMV about my purchase/trade in. I went to the bmv and was told I don’t need to notify the bmv at all. Carvana handles transferring the plates. Waste of time on my end again. The only simple and hassle free part was actually picking up the vehicle. If I had not paid for shipping, I may have canceled the entire vehicle, which is, I’m sure, part of the reason they make it not refundable.

    Lastly I tried to purchase a vehicle prior. I had screenshots of the pick up location and price to ship. As I went to purchase it, the shipping increased by $300. When I chatted with an advocate he told me it was because where the vehicle was being shipped. But that never changed, so it did not make sense. I refreshed my saved vehicles and noticed all my vehicles shipping price had magically increased. So instead I went and found a completely new vehicle and purchased that one without change in shipping prices.

    Very bizarre. Very disorganized and frustrating experience. I would almost have preferred to waste a day at a dealership (which is what I wanted to avoid going thrift out carvana) as opposed to this week or madness. I am happy with the vehicle I purchased thus far. And I was pleased with the price and pick up experience. Otherwise I don’t think I would recommend this to anyone else.

    The Battery died 7 days after it was delivered. Can’t even return the car because it happens the day after the return policy ended. So wouldn’t buy a car from here again because of that problem. They won’t even do anything about it. Give them a 3 out of 5 stars, the delivery driver was nice.

    Welp, I picked a wonderful Jeep Renegade! I had to wait and wait and wait, for my Jeep to finally become mine. I had to pay a small price to get it to my state, to find out an O2 sensor was not working and it made the engine light come on. Still to this day not sure as to how they didn’t notice that before delivering it to another state?? Anyway, Carvana took great care of it and now I’m officially a Jeep owner!! Little things to know. You should keep tabs on your purchase, cause I had to call Carvana a couple times to get updates and not just a text saying it’s a delay on your purchase. Please be sure to ask questions, even if you think it’s dumb. I’m not a mechanic, but do your research on what Carvana tells you.

    The process of picking out and scheduling delivery of the vehicle was incredibly easy. The driver was very nice and explained the process and answered all the questions I had. After driving the new vehicle for a few days, I experienced shaking when braking or hitting highway speeds. Took car to shop and it was determined the front rotors and brakes were past their life and needed replaced. The warranty did not cover this since it was considered normal maintenance. This is something that should have been addressed in the 150 point inspection and should have been replaced prior to sell. Very disappointed with how Carvana decided to handle that situation.

    I asked the question if the oil and filters had been changed, the Carvana person guarantee that everything was taken care of. I drove the vehicle home. The air filter was very dirty and not serviceable. The cabin filter was very dirty. Doesn’t look like it has been ever changed out since the vehicle was new. The engine oil was 2 quarts low. I don’t believe Carvana did their part on my vehicle plus it semi clean not up standards. This was my 3rd car from Carvana.

    I did not like my experience with Carvana whatsoever. They gave me a car with many issues before I bought the. I was told that car had went through a vigorous vehicle check, only time find out on my 7th day I found out my suspension was bad. They're lying about the status of the vehicles. I went to Pep Boys and pull out a laundry list of problems. Struts, breaks, front tires, steering, rotors, and suspension. Pep Boys store reps are so familiar with Caravana that it's embarrassing. It's only been over a week and they will not fix my shocks and struts but yet I have 100-day warranty. Forget about trying rent out a vehicle. You have to come out your pocket for that as well. All I have to say be careful if you're trying to purchase Carvana. They're just honest with their cars. They will lie to your face!

    When the car arrived, the Carvana employee was kind, fast and efficient. I would have returned this car if it had not been exactly what I was looking for. When the car arrived and we took it for a test drive, it was covered in awful cherry-scented air fresheners. After having the car for a few days and removing those air fresheners, we noticed a strong underlying cigarette smoke odor. I reached out to Carvana and they said that everyone’s sensitivity to smell is different so the only thing they could do was offer me a $100 check that should arrive in about a month.

    This does not even cover half of an interior detailing. The only thing the customer service representative said they could do was provide the $100 check, even though the 150-point inspection report said that the odor issue had been resolved when it obviously hadn’t. Using strong air fresheners is not a solution to an odor issue, but again, this car was exactly what I was looking for so we are just taking the chance and hopefully getting the smell out ourselves. I have bought a car with Carvana previously and had no issues, so this was extremely disappointing.

    I am submitting this formal complaint regarding Carvana, who sold me a vehicle with undisclosed damage and is now refusing to take responsibility or provide a proper resolution. Issues identified at delivery: undisclosed dent on the front bumper, molded door sill with visible water damage, coffee spill in the center console, spray-painted panels using truck bed liner, attempting to conceal damage (major CRACK).

    Spray painted $8k wheels with a matte black spray can to conceal damages. I purchased this vehicle under the representation that it was in excellent condition, supported by Carvana’s advertising and inspection reports. These defects were not disclosed at the time of purchase, constituting potential misrepresentation and deceptive business practices.

    I have attempted to resolve this matter directly with Carvana, but they have denied my request for repairs. Silver Rock, their trusted partner, is very unprofessional, and they won't do any repairs on the vehicle even if it is reasonable. This leaves me with a vehicle in worse condition than represented, and financial harm as a result. I have now taken this vehicle to the Porsche dealership, and apparently, there were ELEVEN RECALLS, and a major service, which will cost an additional $2,000.00 out of pocket and time lost.

    Beware of Carvana. Don't think that you are getting a car that has been serviced in any way. I would never buy another vehicle from Carvana. They don't check the cars at all. Do not do business with this company. Better to go to a dealer where at least you have a place to go to talk with someone other than their third party service. I took the car in with transmission and brake issues. The tech said "It is just the way the car drives" when the car is surging and the brakes are sticking. Then I look in the engine and no service was done before they delivered the car. None! ****Too risky to do business with this car company.**** They give new meaning to bad, used car salesmanship!!!! Sure it's an easy process.... to rip you off with a car that is damaged or in disrepair. They just try to push as many cars out as possible as fast as possible. **I will get out from this car as soon as possible!! It is trash!

    I put in automobile info and received an offer of $400. I am stunned and insulted. According to Kelly Blue Book, this car is worth at least $6,000. Carvana asked the question if the car has been modified, but does not allow you to explain. This car has been converted to handicap accessible which cost many thousands of dollars, adding about $3,000 to $4,000 value on a used car. That makes this car worth $9,000 to $10,000. This way of doing business is taking full advantage of people that are needing to sell quickly. I get it. . . it is up to the seller to accept the offer or not. But I have to say that their commercials are VERY misleading. Carvana will never get my business if they have the last running car on earth.

    Don't let them fool you about the 7-day guarantee return. I bought a car and financed through Bridgestone. I refinanced on my third day of having the car. On the 6 day after finding out that the car had things wrong with it that wasn't stated I wanted to return. I asked their computer (Sebastian) since I refinanced can I return the vehicle, and it said doesn't matter if you refinance or not that the 7-day return stands. Well, a long story short, they honored it. At first I was getting a different car until I called and asked about them returning the check to my credit union. After about an hour on the phone they said that since it was refinanced that the return was void and I had to keep the car. Total BS. I'm still waiting on my paperwork for the car so I can do business with Carmax.

    My experience using Carvana was overall positive. I reserved my vehicle before pictures were available, and was able to purchase it about a week later. The vehicle was on the other side of the country, so shipping took another 1-1/2 weeks. My trade-in was seamless, as well. The only issue I had was my pick-up date/time were delayed at the last minute (i.e. with no advance notice) because the vehicle had not yet arrived at my local Carvana location. I then picked-up the vehicle two days later. Stuff happens, and I understand these types of glitches can happen, so since everything else went so well, it wouldn't be fair to reduce the rating to four stars. The delivery experience with the Carvana vending machine was a fun way to receive my new-to-me car.     People who prepped the vehicle missed the burnt out headlamp bulb on driver's side. Also, no confirmation on when was the last time engine and cabin air filter were changed. Oil was confirmed. AM radio has very poor reception. Rural area people like me frequently listen to AM. Wind noise from front sounds like a box of rocks. Does run and drive fine. Check engine emissions light came on second day. Maybe because of gas quality.

    This is our third vehicle purchase with Carvana. We appreciate not having to haggle or spend all day at the dealership. I had two issues with this purchase. First, there was an issue signing the trade-in paperwork digitally. After reaching out via the chat, and being told someone would reach out, nobody did so I had to reach out again the day before I was scheduled to get my new car. I was told a ticket was entered but it could take 24-48 hours to resolve and if not resolved before my scheduled delivery, I might have to reschedule my delivery. Thankfully, it was resolved in time. The second issue was the cleanliness of the car. I was very disappointed that the car was not detailed before delivery. The cupholders and storage bins were dirty. The glass needed to be cleaned. The seats had not been cleaned. I don't believe a new car owner deserves to receive a thoroughly clean car.

    I purchased a 2012 Cadillac SRX with very low miles and thought I was picking up a reliable vehicle. It had passed Carvana's 150 point inspection but when I had the car diagnosed, it seems error codes were cleared from it. A month a half later, the slip differential went on the car. I was still within my 4,000 miles and 100 days for the warranty. I opted to have my family mechanic look at the car and he was able to work with Silverrock to get the slip replaced, but the error light still stayed on. While trying to further diagnose and figure out what was wrong, my mechanic noticed that there was water under the rug on the passenger and driver side which houses electrical modules.

    After removing the water and letting the modules dry out, the error codes vanished. My mechanic then figured out that water was getting into the vehicle from the sunroof drain ports being damaged. He replaced all of them, but there was a module in the back that was submerged in water. After figuring all this out, he contacted Silverrock and they determined that they would not cover the drain plugs or the modules as it was after the 100-day warranty.

    I've been paying for a car and have not driven my car in 3 months on an issue that brought out other issues and now Silverrock will not do anything to cover it. I called Carvana and wanted to return my vehicle, and they said they could only buy the vehicle back and it won't even cover the cost of my loan. So now I'm out of a vehicle and I'm stuck with a 2500 bill that should have been covered under the original warranty and neither silverrock or carvana will do anything to help me.

    I even used the 7-day return policy to get the car diagnosed but none of the issues I have with the car would have came out until it rained hard. I can't in conscience recommend Carvana to anyone with the way I have been handled and the lack of any human element with their decisions. This is not a way a customer should be "taken care of" and I'm highly disappointed with them. I really wanted to give them a good review, but with my experience, it's been a horrible one and all I can say is for everyone to be wary when purchasing a car from them.

    I want to begin by expressing my appreciation for the pre-delivery experience. The process of finding a vehicle at a competitive price and arranging payments was seamless and user-friendly. However, I must share my disappointment with the condition of the vehicle upon delivery. The listing indicated three minor blemishes, but upon inspection, I found several more significant issues. These included multiple scratches worse than reported, a paint chip on the rear fender, and three wheels with substantial curb rash. Additionally, the vehicle was covered in water spots, and it did not appear to have been properly detailed, it lacked any signs of buffing or waxing one would typically expect from a dealership.

    Further, a plastic cover on the passenger seat was detached, exposing rust beneath the guide rails. While I am grateful that this particular issue is covered under SilverRock, the remaining damage was dismissed as normal “wear and tear.” I find that difficult to accept given the vehicle’s price point and mileage. While I ultimately chose not to return the vehicle, it was only due to additional assistance I received from Carvana. That said, I now must invest additional time and resources into addressing the rust, having the car professionally detailed, and repairing the wheels all of which may leave me without a vehicle for several days.

    Started off pretty ok until 5 mins before the car was supposed to be delivered I was rescheduled because something was wrong with the vehicle but I wasn't told what. Vehicle is finally delivered. She drops it in the way of another car so I get in to move it and by the time I started inspecting the car I noticed a crack in the windshield but the driver was already in the truck leaving.     Everything seemed to be going smoothly. We finalized the purchase, paid for the car, and received confirmation both by phone and email that the purchase was finalized. Suddenly, we received an email saying we hadn’t paid. I verified with my bank that the money had, in fact, been taken from my account by Carvana. We then spent a day and a half being told weird conflicting stories about how we either hadn’t paid, our payment had been rejected for undisclosed reasons, or we were receiving a refund…which would take 3 WEEKS…with no reason or explanation given. We were trying to decide if we needed to file a fraud report or call a lawyer or if our money had been stolen by scammers. For a day and a half a manager was too busy to call us. We finally spoke to a lower level manager who confirmed we were being “refunded”…still stating that it would take 3 weeks.

    Into the 2nd day of trying to decide if our money had been stolen and what we should do about it, a manager finally called and said the fraud department flagged our payment because the Carvana account was in my husband’s name and the bank account was in my name. (I pointed out that the website didn’t offer us the option of using both names and didn’t warn us that this would be an issue…no response.). He still stated that it would take 3 weeks to receive a refund but that they would hold the car for us until we could have our money returned and pay using another method. I asked if I was going to receive interest for the time they were holding my money; they refused to offer anything for our extreme inconvenience. (Hooray for no negotiating…🙄) The excuse on the time delay was “bank processing”. The truth was their financial department sat on it for a week (thankfully not 3 weeks) and bank processing took 2 days.

    In the meantime, we searched for another vehicle in our area but weren’t able to find what we needed. The moment we received our refund the car was removed from hold without anyone telling us. We noticed and attempted to reprocess the sale quickly. We had to call customer service to sort it out because the website was still trying to have us do an automatic payment. We didn’t have time to transfer the money to an account with my husband’s name, and we already had the car reserved in my husband’s name. We were afraid we were about to accidentally restart the whole issue. The customer service representative was able to change the Carvana account to my name.

    After the website insisted we do an automatic payment again, it actually refused to process it that way and asked for a cashier’s check or wire transfer for payment. Then, they insisted that we had only a few hours to send the money or we would miss the payment deadline and the sale would cancel. (Yes, that’s right, after they couldn’t send me my money back for 3 weeks…I had to pay them within a couple hours…). Thankfully my bank has great customer service and was able to do a wire transfer right away. I still had to contact Carvana by phone to confirm they received the paperwork confirming the wire transfer had been initiated because the website kept asking for it even after I’d provided it and warning that we would miss the deadline. From then, everything did go smoothly.

    Delivery was a week later. The delivery guys were very polite and professional. The car is basically in the condition we expected. However, I really can’t recommend a company that can’t handle an issue with payment promptly and leaves you wondering if your money has been stolen by fraudsters for days on end.

    I sold my car to Carvana. That process was an easy one. I got a quote, scheduled an appointment and someone was there to complete the transaction within a few days. Payment was processed quickly. The only complaint I have is with the customer care after my car was sold. I gathered all my personal belongings from the car and placed them in a bag. I then wiped down the interior and seats bc my dogs and I had been to the beach a couple days prior. In all the excitement, I left that bag in the car. The associate that "checked" my car didn't mention the bag being in there. He parked the car a couple houses down from mine bc they couldn't pick up the car until the next day. At that point I hadn't noticed that I left the bag in the car. I only noticed once the car had been picked up. They have a strict 24hr policy within which they must be notified about items left in the car.

    I called within a couple hours of it being picked up. I was told they sent a message to the associates and I would hear back in 24 hrs. I proceeded to call back every day for the next 4 days bc no one ever called me with an update. Every time I reached out, they said they alerted the associates and someone would call me. On the 4th day I was told that it had been too long and my items were probably thrown away, despite me notifying them with HOURS of them picking up my car. NOT COOL. Why would they throw away a bag when they had been notified it was accidentally left in the car numerous times, including well within their 24 hour window?

    NEVER purchase a car from these scammers. The delivery drivers are fantastic and customer service is good too. But the product is FAR below the quality that Carmax offers - who actually look over carefully and truly test drive each vehicle. That was not done with the first THREE CARS they delivered me. The first Acura had been in an unreported major accident and had major work done. In fact the front bumper didn't even match up with the fender on either side and was a full centimeter off. A blind person could have seen that. It had two bad struts and three bad shocks and the steering wheel shook badly above 75 mph.

    The second Acura had one bad strut and two bad shocks along with two bald tires and the other two having less than 2000 miles on them - Carmax would've replaced all four tires along with the struts. This car's steering wheel shook above just 70 mph. The Subaru Forrester when I put it in all wheel drive had a horribly loud metallic grinding sound, however it did not do that on a flat surface or going uphill. The transmission was also shifting hard and poorly. Really bad. So I talked to a supervisor and got them to send me a fourth car which also had problems that I had to fix using Silver Rock, which they did - but what an inconvenience. I also got one of the people on the phone with Carvana to admit that they're so busy they can't even catch their breath selling cars left and right because of the tariff worry. They are not test driving them properly and they're not even looking the cars over at this point. Go with Carmax.

    Do not pay for shipping! Even though they claim delivery in 1-3 days depending on location. They will find excuses to push out delivery. My delivery was rescheduled 3Xs as a result of Carvana internal system issues. The latest delay was calling for an additional 20 day delay beyond the latest delay. They are currently refusing to refund the nearly $1300 shipping fee and terminate the deal despite not shipping or delivering the car. I am currently disputing the payment with my credit card company to recoup the fee after their 'customer advocate' refused to escalate the service issue to a supervisor or manager for review. This level of deception and what is essentially strong armed robbery, makes the stereotypical used car dealer look pillars of integrity. I would be terrified to know what filing a damage or warranty claim would be like if this is how they handle the initial delivery.

    I love the carvana experience, in fact this is the second car I've bought through Carvana. This second time though has not been as pleasurable of an experience as I hoped. We got the car and as we were looking over it it was completely repainted (or so they say.) It looked like my toddler could've painted it better. There is paint all over the bumper, overspray on the windshield wipers, clear coat oversprayed on the headlights, paint all over the lock buttons on the door handles, and a chip out of the passenger doorhandle (which was shown in the pictures on the app but if youre repainting the whole vehicle why didn't you repaint the whole vehicle?). The tires passed MD state inspection but just barely. I'm going to have to replace the tires a lot sooner than I would have liked to. Not even 5 minutes off the lot the tire pressure sensor started flashing saying I had a flat tire when I did not.

    Come to find out they were supposed to have replaced that and obviously just decided to clear the code and send it on its way. And while talking to the sales rep about this he just said, "Well I can start the return for you if you want me to." I mean all of these things are very annoying and are going to cost me more money, I love the car and didn't want to return it for these mostly minor problems but it would've at least been nice for them to offer me some money back and nothing. Just a "sorry you didn't have a good experience this time". Overall frustrated but I still love my new car.

    This is our 3rd purchase with Carvana, probably our last. I was shocked at the half ** job done preparing this vehicle for us. The first 2 were newer and had less miles, but after 8 hours of my own elbow grease and detailing, I was able to get it looking decent. The photos supplied were way too far away and lacked the detail of the damage and left out several significant dents. I listed things below that I experienced. Finding a live .22lr round under the passenger seat was my favorite. Despite all of this we decided to keep this vehicle and fix most of these ourselves. Whoever is in charge of detailing/preparing your vehicles need to step up their game. 2016 Jeep issues:

    1. *Screw in DS rear tire
    2. Oil leaking from center of rear axle
    3. Wire shorting on passenger step rail
    4. *Gash in roof on driver's side freedom hardtop
    5. Tint on all 4 windows scratched bad
    6. Major multiple chips on rear fenders
    7. *Gear shift plastic center piece broke off (glued on)
    8. Dent near rear tailgate latch
    9. *Dirty inside and out
    10. Dents/scratches inside rear tailgate
    11. *Get spare key made

    This is the third car I purchase from Carvana. I usually have a good experience with Carvana; however, I am disappointed with the service received at the Carvana Kiosk @ 2201 Westwood Ave, Richmond, VA 23230. The car fluids were almost empty. When I informed the sales person, he said "it passed inspections." I was offered a gift card, which would be mailed; however, Silver Rock confirmed that is not their standard procedure and do not mail gift cards.

    The vehicle was dirty, although our pick-up time was delayed in order to detail the car. It was returned for another cleaning, and was still dirty. The carpet on the driver's side was torn and covered with a floor mat. Also, the electric cap on the middle console was missing. I mentioned it to the sales person, hut he didn't annotate it and was dismissed as a "cosmetic imperfection". I reached out to Silver Rock and Carvana regarding the above issues, and feel somewhat satisfied with the resolution (pending the outcome of my claims).     Happy with the car and the price but there are a few things that did not go well:

    1. I paid for delivery due to the urgency of me needing a car. Carvana delayed the delivery from a Sunday to Wednesday. This defeated the entire purpose of me paying the delivery fee. With the new delivery date, I could have driven to pick it up, but could not change that without giving up the purchase and starting the process all over again. Ridiculous!

    2. The delivery also did not go smoothly. The driver got stuck on our mountain roads and I had to go meet her to complete the process. Carvana should invest in a GPS for trucks so that does not happen to these poor drivers.

    3. There are several maintenance items that would have been much cheaper for Carvana to fix that I now have to pay for. Specifically, air cabin filter replacement, tire rotation, and alignment.

    Considering all of this, I may not use Carvana again.

    Carvana did not disclose all cosmetic issues with the vehicle. After paying to have the vehicle shipped, I discovered the damage and reported within 24 hours. Carvana was unwilling to fix the damage or reimburse. How can customers make informed decisions without all of the facts disclosed?     When I purchased the vehicle, I could have chosen to receive it the next day, but I was not available so I scheduled it for 2 days later. On the morning of the delivery, they sent an email that I was going to be delayed by 3 days! I called and asked if I could just pick it up since it was less than an hour away. They said no and the soonest I could get it was 2 days later.     I purchased a tesla model 3 from Carvana. The process of buying the car was very easy, convenient and affordable. My issues came when the car came to me. The car was in made condition. My 12V battery died with in 2 days of having it, my wiper fluid did not work, the front bumper was painted very sloppy and also a different white color, the interior front had paint on it as well. The car must of had a tint on the front windshield and when the Carvana team was taking it off, they cracked the bottom of the windshield. I did not notice this car before the 7 day grace period as it was hidden in with black behind it. Carvana did nothing and said they opened up a ticket to basically deny it. Overall I would say poor experience as the car I was sold had multiple issue. There 150 point inspection is a joke. I just had my air filter replaced and it was so bad and old that the tech said it had never been replaced (my car has about 60,000 miles).

I chat with customer service and now you guys want me to schedule a appointment with one of your network shops. I don’t have time to be without a car. I took it to a local mechanic and they noticed the tires were no good. They had uneven tread wear, choppy tread and excessive wear on the shoulders. And the suspension was worn. Once I had them switch out those problems the car is fine now. Do you guys not test the cars you sell before you sell them. Maybe your mechanics don’t know what they are doing. I shouldn’t have to run around and fix problems with a car I just got. You guys need to do better.

    We ordered a Hyundai Venue and when received, it was dirty, smelled overwhelmingly like cigarette and Marijuana smoke, and was several hundred miles overdue for an oil change. So we filed for an exchange. Had to wait a week with a hard limit of 400 miles to drive in an entire week. Order the new car, an hour before it was supposed to have been delivered, they cancel the delivery due to lack of staff. They said it would be another week to get the car delivered. I call customer service and had to speak to a supervisor to get that revised.

    The car was advertised as having a sunroof. Upon receiving the car it, in fact, did not have a sunroof.     The financial process for customers bringing two payments type need improvement. In my case, the automated system initially only allowed either cash payment or financing with Carvana. Firstly, I had to cover the entire fund transfer from my account. After speaking with an agent about my second additional form of payment with a credit union financed check, the Carvana rep promised that the overage amount would be automatically refunded to my bank account that the initial amount was withdrawn from. After the seventh day guaranteed or return period, I had not received the refund in my account. I contacted Carvana and another representative ensured me that it would be transferred via ACH. I received a noticed the next day saying a check has been issued and will be coming in the mail within 5-10 days.     Second issue: when I took possession of the car when I arrived at home, I looked at the engine compartment and noticed that an animal had chewed through two of the ignition coil wiring harness. After reporting it to Carvana and following their procedures to take it to an in-network auto mechanic SilverRock denied the mechanics assessment to correctly replace the damaged wiring harness. That took several discussions with multiple Carvana representatives. Eventually, SilverRock reversed their decision but, it took a week for the part to be ordered and the auto shop to call me to schedule. Because I will be out of town at their next available, I have to wait until June 11, 2025 when I return back from a trip to get this fundamental issue resolved.

    It was as if no one at Carvana knew what anyone else was doing. I was repeatedly told to call a different department and then told by that department to call the one I had already talked to. Then, an agent assured me that my delivery date would not be changed if I traded a different car and then it was changed to two days later.     I bought 2018 Dodge Caravan with only 13,000 miles on it. It apparently had sat unused for long time. Critters nested in the engine compartment lot of debris. My mechanic took apart upper and lower intake manifold and it was full of critter debris and critters had chewed on a wiring harness and it had to be repaired. $300 charge. Cabin filter needed to be replaced as critter packed that area with debris also. So Carvana saying they do a 150 point inspection is a lie. They supposedly did oil change. Not sure this is true.     I just purchased a $27K BMW 7 Series from Carvana, and the experience has been a complete letdown. The online listing mentioned a few minor scratches, which I was totally fine with — it's a used car, I expected that. What I didn’t expect was a completely botched paint job on the door handle that looked like it was spray painted with a can from Rona. The color didn’t match at all, and there was overspray on the rubber door seal, rear door, and even inside the car on the trim. This wasn’t some small flaw — it was sloppy and completely unprofessional.

    Worse, there was a black interior panel so worn it had a gouge over 1/4" deep showing the yellow plastic underneath — and this car only has 50K miles. None of these issues were disclosed in the listing. They listed a few scratches, but left out the most obvious and embarrassing flaws. When I brought it up at pickup, I was basically brushed off. The staff acted like I was being difficult. They told me I could return the car if I didn’t like it and that they “can’t show every defect” online because of photo limits. No apology, no real concern — just a cold handoff like I was picking up fast food, not a luxury vehicle.

    What made it worse? I reached out to support via chat and was told I could submit up to 3 cosmetic issues after delivery and they’d address them. I submitted the maximum — including the overspray and worn panel — and immediately got an email saying it was “normal wear and tear.” Normal?? On a BMW 7 Series?? Since when is rattle-can paint with no prep or tape job considered normal?

    I just moved to a new area and urgently needed a car, so returning it wasn’t really an option. I didn’t want to take another credit hit by canceling and going elsewhere. Now I’m stuck putting $3,000+ into fixing something that never should’ve been my problem. Bottom line: this experience was embarrassing and frustrating. I will never buy from Carvana again, and I’ll be telling everyone I know to steer clear. You’re way better off going through a certified pre-owned program where this kind of thing would’ve been caught and handled properly.

    My daughter was buying her first car and decided to go with Carvana because she had heard nice things about them. It was easy to find a car, get it financed, and decide on a day to pick it up. When we got there, we didn't have to wait too long before the car was brought out to her. The salesman said he inspected the car, and it was good to go, except there was an open recall, and the dealership deals with recalls. We drove it home, and the engine light came on, but the salesman said that was because of the recall. We took the car to the dealership, and the total damages to the car totaled nearly $7,000; the total for the car was $15,000. We called them to pick up the car, you only have 7 days to return the car for a full refund. Transport for Carvana met us at the dealership and picked up the car.     The process to find and purchase the car was easy and convenient. Pickup went well, very easy again and we were in and out within 10 minutes. The problem was once we got home the oil light came on. Not a drop of oil in the car. Completely bone dry. So we added two quarts to the car but it concerns me that we drove it home without oil. Second issue is the rear window tint is bubbled and blurred to where you cannot see through it clearly. This will need to be removed/replaced. I feel like these two easy fixes should have been completed before the vehicle was ever available for pickup. Especially the oil! It makes me wonder how thorough the inspection was to begin with.     I am so disgusted and devastated over the horrible experience I've had with Carvana. What a circus. They are dishonest, and that's the most important thing to know. They will tell you one thing and send an email with different information. They then choose for themselves which version they will proceed with. We were delayed a week, with no explanation and when I called to inquire, nobody knew anything. My husband had major surgery within the week they first screwed us and never showed. So I had to rent a car. For 6 days, and it ended up costing a little over $400. Then, we waited ALL day Friday, (yesterday) and I even took off work to be here for the car delivery. He showed up, we were so excited, and then he checked out our trade in and said it failed inspection for trade due to a broken side mirror and we have to cancel the entire transaction and resubmit, having them come back another time. DEVASTATING!!

    So, we rushed back into the house and called Carvana. We straightened the whole thing out in 10 mins (he could have easily waited but didn't). He forgot his personal keys here at my house so he had to turn around and come back for them. Today, we got an email stating that we have until Monday, may19 at 1 pm to complete our tasks ( getting the Title and Registration app), but the app says we have until 9m today, may 17. Another prime example of the sheer incompetence riddled throughout this company.

    The car is slated for delivery on Tuesday, may 20. BUT now will be delayed again, because they said our tasks aren't completed in time because they made a RMV transaction on a Saturday, deadlined. What a circus! This is how Carvana chooses to treat their customers? I just paid over $300 for insurance on a car I never owned, and never had in my possession , because they MAKE you insure the car before they agree to sell it to you. It's an absolute JOKE of a company. My husband is proceeding with the purchase from Carvana. I'm extremely upset about that. I could never personally do business with such a horrible, dishonest company. No matter what they're selling. BUYER BEWARE.

    One of the dangers of buying online is that you must rely on the seller to give you correct and reliable information about the vehicle. The car that I purchased from Carvana came with some hail dents that were not disclosed or mentioned in their description. After several discussions with Carvana, their “leadership team” repeatedly stated that this was normal wear and tear for a used vehicle!! If it is normal wear and tear, why would not put it in the description like the other things you noted? Not sure when hail damage became a part of normal wear and tear for a car. To be fair they did offer to send me $100.00 for my trouble.

    Of course that is not enough to repair hail damage. Also to be fair, the hail damage is minor and would not have cost them a ton to fix (less than $1,000.00). They did offer to refund me but I love the car other than this situation. They basically don’t care about customer satisfaction or giving accurate descriptions of their vehicles. Buyer beware!!!     I have been a returning Carvana buyer since 2020, buying vehicles (all except but one had issues, and I was forced to wait to use my cars until the SilverRock repair was done). The amount of items broken on that vehicle was about $6000.00 and SilverRock denied most of the repairs, refused to waive my deductible of $350.00 and today is May 14th and I will not get the truck back and repaired ($2300.00 on me) until May 23rd, meanwhile I am making my first car payment on a vehicle I have yet to drive.

    If you have deep pockets to cover broken items on the cars, Carvana is for you! I absolutely recommend that you have your personal mechanic check the vehicles before the 7 days or you will be left with a vehicle you can't drive and thousands of dollars in repairs. HORRIBLE COMPANY! I will never use or recommend Carvana to anyone! They sell old cars, that are barely running and their 150 point inspection is nothing when given to my mechanic, they barely checked to see if the car would run. They do check the outside, so if there are a few scratches but the car is clean and vacuumed anyone can be suckered into buying it not to realize until it's too late that it's a pile of junk.

While transferring plates you will not receive a refund for the Registration fees for new plates!!! even though they will tell you that you will receive a refund!     I purchased this truck a week ago and it’s already been in the shop for 2 days with transmission issues. The 150 point inspection that was supposedly “passed” seemed to completely miss the transmission that is completely messed up and is going to need a major repair or replacement.     The Carvana Certified 150 Point Inspection is meaningless. My car was delivered to me and within 10 seconds of driving it, I knew it had a problem. Clearly this car was not thoroughly inspected. It had a really bad wheel bearing which was extremely loud and an obvious issue. At least with the Warranty in Massachusetts, I was able to get the issue fixed without any out of pocket costs, just my time and aggravation. Otherwise the process was pretty easy and I did wind up with the car I wanted.

    I purchased a vehicle from Carvana last November. The car has never passed my State's Inspection, so I cannot legally drive it. It is our State's Law the a used car sold must pass inspection or the seller is required to fix it or give a full refund. Carvana refused to do either. I attempted to have it repaired by working with their warranty company. Both Firestone and 2 Hyundai dealerships stated the the issue could not be repaired. These are steps that I do not believe I should have had to take. All Carvana will tell you is to talk to SilverRock. SilverRock did not sell me the car, Carvana did. They should be held responsible for repairs or a refund. I looked into suing them, but it seems like a lot to pay. I'm sure they just love suckers like me, who do not wish to afford a lawyer.

    Not sure why minor spots were listed on Carvana when 2 bad spots were not. Behind both front wheels paint has peeled back multiple inches and rusting. SilverRock said this is normal wear and tear for a used vehicle. I’ve owned over 30 cars, all older with many more miles and none had this issue. Very disappointed that they are obviously spouting untruths to avoid paying out. Also the car had been “washed” on the way, it looked like someone took a dirty rag and smeared it over the car, the front trunk had water in it. Front passenger tire had a screw in it. A trim piece around the rear driver's side window has faded from chrome to some pearlescent color. Not a very pleasant experience overall.

    I had been a loyal Carvana customer, having purchased two vehicles from them, and I had always been satisfied with their service—until now. After buying a Tesla Model 3 just two weeks ago, I encountered multiple issues that have left me extremely disappointed. Upon receiving the vehicle, I was assured by the delivery driver that the floor mats would be delivered within a week. It has now been two weeks, and after reaching out to Carvana, I was told that I should have claimed missing mats within the 7-day money-back period. This was never communicated to me, and it’s frustrating that I’m being told I missed this window due to misinformation from Carvana's delivery driver.

    Additionally, the left headlight of my car has gone out, and despite my warranty, I have run into more roadblocks. Carvana has directed me to SilverRock for a repair claim, but after scheduling appointments with two repair facilities, I was told they had no idea how to fix a Tesla headlight. I am now stuck in limbo, unable to get the car fixed properly, and there seems to be no clear way forward. This experience has completely soured my opinion of Carvana. I have recommended the service to friends and colleagues in the past, but after this, I will make sure to share my experience with others and warn them about the lack of proper support and the inconsistencies in Carvana’s communication.     I decided to use Carvana for the convenience of online shopping and delivering the car to my home. But it was everything but convenient. The first car I chose needed $3500 worth of repairs including an oil change. Even the worst dealerships out there will give you an oil change at the very least. The Carvana representatives extended my 7 day return period because I was waiting on the warranty company, Silver rock, to approve or deny the claim. After so much back and forth between the mechanic & Silver rock I decided to return the car. I was not happy but the representative was very nice and understanding and convinced me to exchange the car and give them another chance. The second car I chose worked out. I was supposed to receive a refund of my down payment I made on the first car and was told I’d receive the refund back the same way I paid, which was with my debit card.

    Well after 2 weeks I hadn’t received the refund so I called. The representative told me she had to process the refund, but that was supposed to be processed the 2 weeks prior when I exchanged the car. Then she told me it will take the 7-10 days to approve the refund then when it’s approved I still have to wait 15 days to receive a check in the mail. I’m sorry but isn’t this an innovative company that also invented a car vending machine? But I have to wait a month for a check to be mailed to me in the year 2025. I’m very disappointed and displeased with this entire process. The only reason I gave 2 stars was because the representatives were all nice & professional. I will definitely not recommend Carvana to any friends or family.

    My experience with Carvana has been somewhat of a coaster ride. When I first located the car on your site, I had questions regarding some of the issues that were fixed or replaced during the inspection. I reached out to an associate who claimed they were going to get me the information I needed. Unfortunately, I never received any information. Knowing that you had a seven-day satisfaction guarantee, I decided to move forward with the purchase anyway. Upon receiving the vehicle, the car was not very clean inside or out. There were various scratches along the pasture side that were not visible on the vehicle images on your site and there were two items broken with the car.

    Claims have been submitted for these issues with Silver Rock. They are not doing anything about the bad scratches on the pasture side, however have said that they will work to fix the broken items. The power of attorney process was a bit of a headache. Carvana couldn’t see my video, despite that I could see both sides of the video so they transferred me to a company called Proof that went smoothly; however, for the next few days, I kept getting notifications from Carvana that my documents haven’t been signed. I had responded on all instances that it was complete, but still kept getting notified. Guess I just didn’t get the experience. I had heard others received doubtful that I will ever purchase a car through Carvana again.

    I just want to say thank you to the Carvana Team for making the purchase of my 2019 Cadillac XT5 so fun and easy. I appreciate how accurate the pictures were of the vehicle when I received it. I want to thank William specifically for driving all the way to drop off the car, handling the car with care, and getting everything set up so quickly so that I could start driving my new vehicle. There were a few things I would recommend for improvement moving forward. I don’t know why Carvana asked me to upload my insurance, just to be asked again at the appointment for proof of my insurance. In addition, I signed multiple copies of the same document which felt redundant. I don’t know if there is a policy behind it but it was just annoying.

    I also really would have wished that Carvana prepared the Cadillac with a front license plate as now I have to come up with the money to have this installed. Is there any way I can be reimbursed for this cost? It should be up to Carvana to make this vehicle completely legal for the state I live in. Also, the only other complaint I have is that the vehicle was dirty still upon arrival. I will now also have another out-of-pocket expense for getting the car detailed.     Got on Carvana website. Put my 2007 Chevrolet Colorado with 56000 miles on it in good shape. No leaks or nothing. Runs like a new one. Was offered 5600 which I thought was low but accepted it anyway. Woman showed up next day. Inspected it. Took it for test run. Dogged the devil out of it. Floored it. Took off as fast as she could. Had some kind of gadget in her hand. Came back told me I had transmission issue. They would still buy it but would knock off 1500 of purchase price. I told her no unacceptable which to me is their way of ripping off the seller. Plus they had a charge of 190 for coming out which I didn't pay either. I wouldn't recommend carvana as a buyer or seller of a car. Stay away from them.

    Same day we got the suv took it to a mechanic. He found the alignment was off, oil leak and all 4 rotors and brake pads needed to be replaced immediately.
