My gas is really high and I’m on a fixed income. The Vista Energy rep said that their service was gonna be cheaper, so I signed up with them around Thanksgiving time and their rep was really good about it. My bill from PG&E has been zero because I have credit from Care Credit. But I haven’t gotten a bill from Vista yet.

A Vista Energy rep came over the summertime and their service was a lower rate so I switched. When I signed up with them, they were supposed to send me a gift card, and I never got one.

Vista Energy was not fit for me. My electric consumption went down, but my price went up from what I previously had before Vista Energy. Also, during the original set-up, I had a representative who stopped by the apartment to offer it to me and explain stuff. When we called in to set it up, there were things that were not explained before that call to actually set it up, but that the representative just told me to agree to and that they would explain it after. I was very dissatisfied.

When I signed up with Vista Energy, I was told that I would receive $250 gift cards. One after I signed up and then one after six months, and I have not received anything. And it's been over 30 days now since I signed up. I contacted them and they told me that I have to be with them for a year before I could get them. They make sure to tell you that if you decide to not be with them, then it's a $150 if you opt-out early, but they didn’t tell us that upfront either. They need to be upfront with everything when they send people to talk to try to get more customers. So far, I have not seen a lot of difference in the monthly bill. I've spoken with their customer service and they answered my questions, but they could be a little more courteous.

Be aware of what you're currently paying and what Vista Energy is gonna be charging. Vista came door-to-door in my apartment complex six months ago and they were pretty convincing. It was the first time I ever paid for my own electric bill and I was unsure and slightly naïve. Then my rate increased drastically. I was paying 5 cents per kilowatt with my service before and with Vista, I was up to 8. They were also charging me an admin fee on top of that. So my bill went from a monthly bill of around $60 to a monthly bill of about $80 to $85. I took Vista off and went back to where I was at, so it would be a little more affordable. The process was pretty easy. I called Ohio Edison FirstEnergy and they did it for me.

I thought I would be saving money through the other company I was with, but it wouldn’t stay the same. It wasn’t a fixed rate. And I thought, reading all the information and listening to them, that I wasn’t as aware as I thought I was. With Vista, my monthly bill is a little lower. It’s not that great though. I had a friend who contacted me on Facebook. He had a shot of his Ameren bill, and it’s $6 and something for the whole month. So, he’s on a budget plan. So, it had interested me to know what the details and why it was that low. But for now, I’m satisfied.

I was in a store shopping when I heard about Vista, and their rate was lower than a couple other places. I also talked to the people for confirmation, and it was all right. Signing up was easy except that the presenter lied about the gift card. He said, “You’ll get the gift card in two or three days.” So, when the lady sent the papers and I called, she said, “It takes six months.” It’s holiday time and I coulda used my gift card. Yet, I still stayed with them ‘cause their service is feasible and something I could use. Their rate is reasonable as well.

A girl showed up at my house and was asking if we'd wanna sign up for Vista Energy. She was really friendly and she knew everything to say to me in order to get it. My bill is a lot cheaper with Vista and everything has been pretty good, so far.

Going with Vista Energy sounded like a nice deal. The information was in the package. The rep said if we switch over we would save on our light bill and get a hundred bucks. However, the price was supposed to be five bucks lower but we didn't see that in our first bill. We were also supposed to get some free gift cards but we never did.

Somebody came into my front door and was talking to me about Vista Energy. They said they could set it up to where I pay the same amount every month with savings. With me being on a limited income, I’m trying to cut corners wherever I can. The representatives made things pretty clear. In my last bill, I happened to pay attention to it and I was wondering where the $24 was for. I called PG&E to find out what it was. The only thing I have that’s gas is my hot water heater. Everything else is electric. And I saw a $15 charge from PG&E and then the $24 charge from Vista. When they explained it to me and I looked again, the 15 was for delivery charge and then 24 was for the gas.

A Vista girl presented herself well and her knowledge was good, so I decided it would be okay to go with them. I recently had an experience with another company that did not explain themselves and so, they got me to give information and I didn’t realize that what they were changing was the electric supply. They were forceful and implied that it was something different because I was elderly. I was a little confused, and so, I went along with it thinking that I would save money. But Vista was nothing like that.
So, I have since called Ameren and told them that I want Vista and that I don’t want the other company. And I’m going to call again at the end of the month and make sure that it’s kept with Vista. Then, also, someone from Vista called me and asked me to approve, and said something about the gift card does not apply until after six months with the company. Not that it was that important to me, but they might wanna tell people. That was the only thing that they lacked there. Other than that, they will go in effect my next billing cycle.

I was out having business lunch and I saw some of the guys that were asking people to sign up. I was just trying to see how their company works, so I gave it a try and switched over. I like how the rep handled his business. He was very polite and he did everything right. My first bill was pretty good. I was just wondering when I am going to receive my gift card. They told me by the 11th of December.

I switch energy provider every 3 months. Vista provides the commodity and they offered the best price at the time. I did everything online, so I had no real person-to-person interaction at all, but it went smoothly.

A lady called me last week and said, “Your bill is past due,” but I was gonna pay my gas bill soon because I was just dealing with my mom’s situation who just passed on the 2nd. The rep was great. She called me two days ago and told me about Vista. I never knew I signed up for Vista Energy. Maybe when I was at work, they came here and my mom did. It shows Vista on the bill, but I thought it was from the PG&E. But the gas price is cheap. The pricing goes up and down most of the time, but they're perfect.

The rep knocked on the door and said the bill could be lowered with Vista Energy and so I gave it a shot. The only issue that I had was when he signed me up, he said that I would get a $100 gift card in the mail within 30 days. When I called back, they made it clear to me that it was only $50 and they said six months. It was way later down the line. I didn’t like that. He kinda lied to me about that. But the overall rates were okay.

We had a bad experience with Vista Energy. We had it out at the farm and we recently moved because our farm flooded. They charged $150 to disconnect it to transfer them to our new house. We weren’t very impressed with it. The quality of service, nevertheless, was good, and when the technicians came out they did really good service. When I call and pay my bills, they should also have somebody that speaks better English to talk to you and be able to understand them.

I had just got my apartment and just got my lights on. I was coming off the train and one of the reps talked to me and asked me if I signed up with any energy program and I told him no. Then, he introduced me to the Vista program and I agreed. He was very professional. I received my first bill and I paid it. I got my second bill yesterday and it wasn't too high either. I signed up for the gift card program. They said after I pay my bill, I should receive my gift card within 30 days.

Vista Energy reps were going house-to-house then and I was just outside, and they asked me about signing up with them. I said, “We need to know how much we needed to pay every month.” I’m not working right now, but I have part-time jobs here and there, not a steady income though. But my husband was all leery about it. I told him that me and my ex-boyfriend have done it before and that they’re not gonna scam us out of money. If anything, they’re gonna cost us less money. So, we eventually went with it and we've had it since July.
Vista Energy convinced us that their rate was fixed, which wasn’t. It was way less than what we had to deal with last winter. Our electric bill would be 30 bucks, but around wintertime, we have to plug in the blower for the heat to get out. It’s very old and it’s electric, weird radiator. That’s the one thing that kills us in the winter. So in the winter, there’s a $90 electric bill. I just got an electric bill the other day that’s due on the 22nd and it’s $37, and it used to be $56. So, that’s not bad. The quality of their service has been good, so far. Our bills are roughly the same each month. It has been $5 less, $5 more. We got a bill today and it’s $20 less, so it evens out.

Tiellie gave me great, quick and painless customer service in renewing my flat rate contract pricing. She has a pleasant, soothing voice, which may sound weird but it does make a difference when talking to customer service individuals. She was quick in finding the updated flat rate pricing and she efficiently updated my account. I was on the phone with her for just under 4 minutes!

When I first signed up with Vista, it was supposed to be a flat rate. But that only lasted for a year, and then they put me at regular rate which I didn't noticed when that happened. A couple of years ago, I was kind of questioning that why my gas was much higher than what they had promised me. When I called them up, I was made aware that it was only for a certain amount of time. And then they put me on a lower rate because I wasn't happy with the rates that they were giving me.
There was this other company that called me, offering me the service for gas for a lot less but because I didn't know Vista's price compared to their price, I told them to give me a couple of days and I would get back to them. And then I called Vista, and they gave me a somewhat higher price. I told them that I found something better, and then they offered me a lower rate. That really got me upset because they could've done that for me months and months or maybe even a year ago. But they did not let me have that opportunity. So I felt blindsided and somewhat betrayed, but I wanted to give them one more chance at this. I keep my bills, and I will be keeping an eye on it. If I don't see a big difference, then I'll switch over next year.

I called Vista because they switched over before my annual contract with the other provider was over. I had only been on there for one day and I went over the rates. I was gonna join later, and then they mentioned the administrative fee for joining monthly and I wasn’t aware of that, so I cancelled. Still, they were upfront.

I called asking for help in understanding my gas changes with Vista and P.G. & E. Ashley clearly explained that I could reduce my charges with Vista by changing my present flat rate of .89 cents per day to .59 cents per therm. I naturally changed to the flat rate per therm which would reduce my monthly charges because I consume little gas. Ashley was very helpful and had a very pleasant manner.

A man from Vista Energy came by the house and explained everything to me. I never looked at what energy companies were charging me before. He showed me and broke everything down, and showed me how to calculate. It's just things that you just take for granted. He educated me. He was very knowledgeable. My contract was coming to a end, so they sent me several letters. I thought I'd get to it and even though I passed the time by two weeks they still went over the rates with me and were able to lower it.

I just started the service with Vista Energy. They had the lowest price for the longest term. I have a relatively large house so I use a lot of electricity. So the way that their contract was set up seems to be the most reasonable for what my needs were. It was relatively easy to sign up on the site. I had to call the customer service to verify that the rate on the website included both the transmission and the generation charge. I just wanna make sure that that was true and I wasn't getting duped into thinking that it was included, only to find out later that it wasn't. It would be good to say clearly somewhere that that rate definitely includes the generation and transmission charge. But their customer service was great. The rep answered it right away.

Had a little difficulty hearing, otherwise no complaints about the customer service. I personally wouldn't recommend Vista energy to anyone I know because it will only save money for those who use a large amount of gas and I don't know anyone who does.

I was on my way into the Department of Human Services and Vista Energy had a little table outside. And on the table it writes, “A $100, sign with Vista Energy and you’re gonna get a $100 gift card, no questions asked.” That was how they present it to everybody. Once I got into signing up, the man turned around and said, “I’m gonna give you this one $25 card right now. All you've gotta do is call this number and give them this code, and they’re gonna put the card on.” He had me under the impression once I signed up, I’ll get a $100 gift card, four $25 gift cards, only to find out that that was just a promotion, a prop card when I called Vista Energy's number. I didn’t find out that that whole spiel that they gave me was a lie until I got the letter from Vista stating when I would get the rest of the gift cards. According to the paperwork, you will only get those $25 cards the first month of service, the sixth month of service, and the ninth month of service.
The Vista reps got their little stand where people go to sign up for benefits, for food stamps, etc. So, they were targeting the demographic that needs that $100. They knew they would say, “A $100. I'm gonna sign up.” They were making them feel like they’re gonna get it right there for signing up. They lied about it and that was the only reason that I switched from ComEd to Vista. I haven't gotten the bill yet for Vista, but I just paid my bill to ComEd. It was a $105. I don’t know if the bill I just paid made a difference or not.

What you have just described is most certainly unacceptable. I cannot apologize enough for the inconvenience that has been placed upon you. I had Ameren put me on a budget billing. The Vista Energy rep who came seemed nice. I showed him my bills and he said, "It’ll pick up after a bit." So, I took a chance and I signed up for it, and the process went okay. So far, my bill this month is $236, which is tolerable. I told the neighbors across the street about Vista Energy and so, they signed up too.

I signed up with Vista Energy in 2015 because the salesman told me that my current gas provider is required to shift gas procurement to a third party provider by a certain date. The salesman told me their rates would be lower than anyone else's rates and that I would always be paying the lowest rate. In looking at my bill, I've been paying procurement fees to my energy provider and to Vista Energy. I called my energy provider and found that I'm paying twice for the same product and that I was never required to have a third party provider for gas procurement. I hate being lied to. I called Vista Energy to cancel and they told me that if I stayed, they could offer me a lower rate. When I signed up, I was told I would always be paying the lowest rate, yet since I'm canceling, they now have a lower rate? So done.

It’s one of the cheaper rates and signing up was easy. I had signed up over a year ago, and I never got the gift card. Then they came out to make sure I got the gift card, and I still ain’t got it. They told me two weeks. It’s been like since August.

A lady came to my house, and she said that I was overcharged and that I would be getting some cards when I sign up with Vista. However, she should have explained more the details about the debit cards that are supposed to be coming because I didn't understand it. I've been with Vista for over a month now and I haven't received a card or anything with $25 or $50 on there. Also, I just called them as I was wondering about my bill and they told me that it got mailed out today. So, I'm working with them now but if I don't like it, I would switch back to the company I previously left.

When I first signed up, they said I would get two $50 gift cards and I never got those. I used Vista Energy for six months and I thought it'd be cheaper. But my electric bill went up and I'm not using any more electricity the more I did before. It was very easy when I called and cancelled with them.

I felt Vista was a good company to go with because the rates go down on the bill, and it's a great thing now that I've chosen to be with them. However, I haven't gotten the two cards that they said I would get once I signed up with them. Other than that, our representative was excellent. All the questions that I needed to know that made me to want to go with them were answered. They have very great representatives and I was happy that I chose them.

I got signed up with Vista Energy back in the summertime and it was okay, but then I found out that I'm being charged in monthly administrative fee and that another rate I'm paying for is variable. I'm now switched over to Inspire.

I just spoke to somebody at Vista Energy about a week ago, and I had concerns about my bill because it didn’t seem to do as it said. I was calling to cancel, and she said I should try it out and then see what happens. If I’m satisfied, I could stay, or if I’m not satisfied, then I could cancel at that time. I’m not really satisfied at this point. She changed my program from the unlimited to the per term because I don’t use very much gas. Another concern I had was I was told I was gonna receive a gift card, and I never did. So, she sent me some information on how I should receive my gift card.

I switched to Vista because their rep talked about how much lower my bill was gonna be but, a few months in, I've been getting larger monthly bills. I've contacted them and I thought that they had lowered it for me but I didn't notice on this past bill I just got the other day that they gave me another deal. I don’t know if it just hasn’t gone through yet until like two billing periods, but so far, I’m not satisfied with it at all.

I re-upped my contract with Vista Energy and they changed everything to my name. It only took a 5-minute phone call to do all that and so far, everything’s going great. They also lowered my rate.

I have a 5.99 a month fee with Vista Energy and my electric bill is usually right around $20, so a $6 fee is a third of my bill. Because of that, I called to tell them to stop their service, but the lady asked if I'd continue with them if they waived the fee and lowered my rate by a couple of pennies. I told her that would work, so I didn't turn their service off. The lady was very friendly and I didn't have to worry about looking for anybody else. I've been with them for a year and a half now and so far, I'm pleased with their service.

A very nice, polite gentleman from Vista Energy came to the door, and it sounded reasonable to me, so I tried it. I was with Columbia Gas and with AEP, and I didn't notice any change in the service. The service was fine. But I just called Vista Energy today and told them to switch me back to my original suppliers because it’s costing me a whole lot more money. In the three-month period that I’ve waited, I could’ve paid four months’ worth of energy bills so it’s cost me about another month’s worth of bills. The person I talked with about it was very polite and nice and understood and sorry that I had to do it, but it is what it is. If the cost was going to be less, then I would have no problem with it at all.

A person who came to my front door and told me about Vista Energy. Our interactions were very good and I ended signing up with them. So far, I get my bills through the mail and things are working out. But I called them a few weeks ago to ask if there was any indication of how much money I was saving or if there was any savings at all, and I didn't get a direct answer for that.

Vista Energy Marketing service is great. At first, they were charging me unlimited usage, but I wasn’t using that much of a gas on a daily basis. That plan was not necessary for me. I called Vista and I switched back to a pay-per-usage plan. My interaction with their rep was fine.

I was upset with how things ended out with Vista Energy Marketing. When the Vista rep came out, he made the deal so appealing that I switched. I was under the impression that I would be receiving gift cards for the gas and electric, but the lady from Vista informed me that they don't do it for electric. The Vista sales guy was misleading. So, once my little year is up, I'll go back to the people that I originally was dealing with. As for the gas bill, it looks like it decreased, but the electric bill looks like it increased. But a deal is a deal, and of course, you have to know that your bill is gonna fluctuate during the appropriate season.

I talked to Nancy to inquire about my rate per therm. When she informed me, I requested she cancel my account. She offered me a plan that would guarantee I would always pay less than Nicor 's rate. She asked if that would acceptable, I agreed. Nancy said I would have to call every 6 mos to renew the new plan. Nancy was professional, pleasant to talk to and not pushy.

My interactions with Vista's reps have been okay. I generally do a lot on the internet, but I recently had to contact them. We had a pellet stove previously. We got rid of it and got a gas fireplace. I wanted to know when our two years was going to be up and they said they would contact me. I wear hearing aids and the pushing of the buttons, getting through to somebody and getting somebody to answer the phone, makes me get a headache. And when you finally get somebody, a lot of times, it’s somebody that can’t speak English or has an accent. We’re on the budget billing and there’s no balloon payment at the end. I set up my payments on an automatic through my bank, and I have no problems.

When I first signed up Vista Energy's rep told me I would be getting a $100 gift card for my new energy company. Even though I was in a time crunch, I went ahead and signed up with them. With the gift card, I thought it would be good. However, I never got it. We've called them three times now and their reps say the gift card will come and it never does.

When I first started with Vista Energy, I was gonna change to Nicor Gas again because I didn't see any change with my bill. Also, the person that came to my house and told me about the offer with Vista, told me that they were gonna send me a gift card worth $100 that I didn't receive. I called the company because I didn't wanna be with them, but the person that talked with me asked why. I told him what happened. He told me, "Well, give me another chance. This time, you will see a change on your bill." I gave them a chance again. When the bill came, I saw a little bit of difference.

I talked to somebody at Vista Energy Marketing a while back. It was my last month, and I noticed when I was with a regular PG&E, my gas was cheaper. With Vista, it’s a little bit higher. I don’t use that much gas, and a lady was telling me that next month, it should be showing a lower. She was saying the time I called that that billing cycle was almost done. The only thing I used it for is the shower. I have an electric stove and during the winter, I do not use my heater. I have a friend who works at PG&E and she was telling me, “Wow, they’re charging you this much? Your bill from PG&E would’ve been $5 and they charge you almost $25, $30 here.” Also with PG&E, I used to look on the internet on the first of each month, and my bills would be there. We’re waiting for Vista to find out where my bill is. I do all my bills on the first. I go on my internet, I look at all my bills, and usually I’m waiting for five or six days before I get my bill.

Some guy that worked for Vista knocked on my door, and he was asking me what was my billing. He told me the business. I showed him all my bill, and he said it shouldn’t be 1,000 kilowatts if I was using nothing but the air. I don’t use my lights a lot. The rep was professional, but he was also asking for my number saying he was gonna call. He kept asking what time was my fiancé is gonna be home because he didn’t wanna call if he was here. I haven’t had outages lately. I recommended my mom already to Vista. I told her about the rate difference, what the rep explained to me because there’s a major difference within payment of electricity since she’s not using that much.

Everything is going ok with Vista Energy. The rep explained to me that I would have a lower charge but I’ve gotten two bills now and it's has been higher. It’s been hotter though, so I’m not sure if that’s why. Also, they told me if I signed up, I was gonna receive a $100 gift card. I signed up on the 29th of last month and I was wondering when am I supposed to receive it.

I have gas with Vista and I've been with them for years. Their reps were very nice and respectful, but I didn’t see the drastic change that I thought I would see. The gas is still high but having a little bit helps. It could be lower and I would appreciate it, but I doubt anybody is going to get a good gas.

After comparing rates of different energy providers, I switched to Vista. There are some months where we don’t use energy very much, and the whole purpose of going with them is because they're cheaper than who I had. I signed up online and the process was easy and seamless. But it would be nice if they could waive or reduce their monthly fee based on age or veteran status, and have consideration to have their dollar per day service fee reduced or eliminated also because they're dealing with elderly or veterans, retired people. I asked them about it over chat but I just got a flat no.

When I signed up with Vista Energy, their guy said something about receiving a Visa card for switching. However, I never received any of that, and my gas went way higher. My gas bill was running $169, $142 in the summer. I live by myself and the only thing that’s gas in my house is the heat and the water. It’s summertime and I'm not using any heat. I’m also an old person. And I’m leaving for work at 2:00 and don’t come back ‘til after 3:00 in the morning. I called them and the rep said I was locked in at $75. She told me she would lower it to 50. That’s still too high. I get a bill for $112. That shouldn’t be. My gas bill in the wintertime is usually $75 a month. So then I unenrolled and they let me cancel. I also asked the rep about the gift card but she acted like she didn’t hear that part. She kept trying to talk me into doing something else

I called because the place I had been on was the wrong one for the amount of usage. Not only was she extremely polite and courteous, she was able to clearly explain the difference in the two plans, switch me over to the one I should have been on originally, and certify that it would be possible to switch to a different plan when I get a gas stove. I'm extremely satisfied with her service. The only thing that could have made it better was to have been retroactively reimbursed for those months when I should have been on the other plan.

I had Vista Energy in Nebraska. They offered the best price at the time I needed their service. Then when we were selling our house, I spoke to them and they told me there was a fee. The gal that worked with me was great. It took her only 10 minutes to get the fee waived. They did a good job and I would recommend them.

Black Hills Energy was my gas company but they contracted out through Vista Energy. I thought it was really weird how my gas company contracts out to another company. I’d never encountered that before. Every two years, I would have to go and choose a new provider and I thought that was dumb. The service was good quality though and I never had any issues with it. My interactions with their rep were fine too. But when I moved out of state, they charged me $150 exit fee for not being a customer anymore and I thought it was ridiculous but they waived it for me because I had to move because of a job transfer.

I switched both my electric and gas to Vista Energy Marketing and the guy who signed me up was very mannerful and knowledgeable. The service was pretty much, "Turn your electric on," and it worked. No disappointments so far. I just have to compare these bills to the bills in the past although it's hard to tell after only two months. Also, when I signed up, they said something about getting a Wal-Mart card but I haven't received anything.

As of right now, Vista Energy seems to be a lot better in pricing compared to previous carriers. Their rep is very personable, and their professionalism and courteousness are very good. Sometimes it seems like there are more expenses, and other times there are less. But everything’s got ups and downs, so it’s good for now. It depends on the time of year too.

My bill went up after I signed up with Vista. I was paying no more than $30 every month since I’ve been at the address that I’m at, and now my bill has never been under $50. I'm waiting for my upcoming bill where our heater hasn’t been used to see if it went down and see if that’s what made it change.

I was terminated early by a false application from a Competitor converting me to their company without my consent. I was able to get reinstated by VISTA, and renewed for another year upon completion of my original yearly contract through 2020 at the same price and VISTA added a no early termination fee. Vista Energy had the cheaper rate for the usage so I tried them out. Their rep came and asked me what was my usage in the other bill. He then showed me their rate and it was cheaper. He set me up, and he also told me I was gonna get a gift card. But I still haven’t seen the gift card. Other than that, he was reasonably knowledgeable and he knew what he was doing. He seemed like a nice guy. My bill has been lower now. It’s $57 this month, so it’s been pretty cheap.

I was charged an exit fee on an existing contract account. I was asked to move from landlord as the house is being sold. The fees should not have been applied as the landlord resumed the contract as per Black Hills Energy Choice Gas policies. Agent was pleasant and passed me over to management to have the fee waived.

Vista Energy was doing door-to-door sales and came to my apartment. They promised me the moon and sun and that my PG&E electric would be less if I didn't have gas other than the water heater. But I’m noticing on my bill that I'm getting a $25 charge from them, which they didn’t tell me about. They also need to be upfront and honest about the $25 charge on my bill every month. Plus, they need to be more informative. I called them about the charge but I didn't get anywhere. The customer used to be able to reach somebody and not have to go through all these hoops just to reach somebody.

I happened to be looking at different electric companies and the guy from Vista Energy was there at Walmart. I talked to him for 20 minutes and then, I filled out the information, which took less than 10 minutes. We had to call the company, verify who I was and get my social. Everything the guy told me was on the bill when I got the first month. It was straight up and to the point. I love that instead of giving you a rewards card, they use that money to donate it to either the elderly or the children. I didn't have any problems with Vista and the customer service was nice but I changed to another company because the rate that I was paying was 0.3 kilowatt higher.

The price has been good so far although in the first-month's bill, they charged the monthly fee of $40, so I need to call them to find out why. Their customer charge is high but when I compared the best rates, Vista was still good.

I have just my bill with PG&E which was over $50.00! I've never had a bill that high. Then PG&E told me about a third party that I was paying to. Well Nancy took the time to explain how Vista works and to say I was please with what she said is an understatement. Now I am a happy camper thanks to Nancy!

I like Vista Energy a lot better than other providers. The lady who got me on this, was really nice and very professional. Also, my bill was 372, and then when I switched to this my bill went down to 194, so that was a big jump. And then, just this recently, it was 146. It's saving me money and I like to save money.

The Vista Energy representative was very polite but he made a promise about a $100 gift card once a month if we make the switch with them. He also said that the rates were lower than Constellation's, which was the company that I was with. Then I received an email about the activation for the card. But how would I get activation to a card that I do not have, that I have not seen? That was when I called Vista Energy and that was when I learned that I was misinformed. I was told that I would have to wait six months. The rep had made it seem like it was something that was gonna be right away. I have even thought about going back to Constellation. There was really no difference between the two.

Somebody came to my door and was talking about Vista. They were talking about how much money I could save if I went with them. So, I did. The reps were great but they don’t know enough about it. I’m by myself and I found that the bill was bigger than it was before. I wasn’t saving anything and so, I called the other day and the customer service rep was good about trying to find a plan that best suited me.

I only have one hookup for gas and it is a furnace for the winter. When it was just PG&E I only paid $2.95 for service with no other fees during the summer months. It’s still not a great difference, but with the reward thing, it kinda helps it. I’ve never had anything like that before but the overall quality of service I get from Vista is good.

Several years ago, Vista Energy called me and said they could lower my gas bill. I signed up and I've been with them for 10 ears, and renewing has been okay. The only thing that happened was, they go on contract and the last contract that I had was two years and when it expired, they went into a program with higher rates. I had to call them. When your gas bill goes from around $100 to $170 in one month, definitely it’s a mistake. They've made some mistakes, but they corrected it. They sent me a refund. It took about three weeks, which could’ve been sooner.

The Vista Energy people were walking around my neighborhood and came to my door. I liked the fact that with them, my bill was gonna be so low compared to what it was. So, I signed up and I have them for about a year and a half now. I liked them for a while until I paid attention to my bill and it wasn’t what they told me. They made it sound like my bill was gonna be a flat rate at 20 something a month when in fact it was the 28, then PG&E charged me for the delivery fee. That wasn’t explained to me completely and Vista's reps should let the customer know that it was gonna be two separate charges.
A few days ago, I called to cancel and the lady I spoke to was really nice. She let me know about another promotion that was going on to make my bill lower and I wasn’t going to do it because of the last time when they didn’t explain it directly. But she explained that I was gonna get charged the price she sent and at the same time, I would also get charged for delivery fees by PG&E. So, she explained to me that I would get two different charges, but it would be lower than what I was paying before.

My bill has been high for a while and I didn’t realize it as I set up the automatic pay each month. After a couple of months, I started to notice it and felt like I wanted to quit the program then Vista gave me the discount. As far as customer service goes, it’s good. I just don’t know what’s different. If they can list the difference of the PG&E bill and their bill, that’s okay for me. But if I don’t have the clear picture, I just don’t know why my bill is so high.

I flip the switch and the electric comes on. So, it's good which is what I expect and there has been no interruption of service.

The reps of Vista Energy are very nice. They helped me get set up in the program and I never had a problem when I was setting up. But what it is, is you have to renew every year and I didn't know it at first. And then, another company came in and jumped right in and it was a higher price. Vista is a lot better. I am on disability, so Vista helped me quite a bit. It saved me on my bill. I'd recommend Vista 100%.

A door representative from Vista came to my home and provided me some information. He asked if I wouldn’t mind letting him see my bill and he could show how much I would be saving with the program. The customer service was good and signing up was very easy. The guy was super friendly, so he made me feel very comfortable with it. I just called Vista a couple of days ago and found out that I’ve been with them for almost a year.
I went into into PG&E because I advised them that my bill should be less. They told me that they also compared the rates and that I was paying more with Vista Energy because they charge me a flat rate. However, if I look at my actual usage, I shouldn’t be paying that much if I would’ve just been with PG&E. The guy from PG&E said that Vista charges me $28 but I should have paid only $7 for my usage. He said I have to call Vista to cancel the program. That same day, I called Vista which was just last week and they told me that I was on the wrong program. When the gentleman signed me up, it so happened that he signed me up right after winter had ended. So, it made it seem like my gas usage was higher than what I was actually gonna be anticipating since we were entering summer. He didn’t take that into account. Although he was very friendly, I was never set up on the right program.
The last representative was very knowledgeable and she made me very comfortable about being with Vista Energy even though I didn’t get to take advantage fully of the savings. She switched it for me and told me that because we’re going into the summertime, I will be using my gas less, so she put me on a different type of plan where I would pay per use instead of a flat rate. I am a little disappointed because I never got to see what I would save. Although they told me, showed me and explained it to me, I never saw the impact of it on my actual bill. Nevertheless, she assured me that the plan she has me on now is right and within a month or two, I will see a difference. If for some reason I don’t, she said to call back and if they can’t figure it out, then they’re more than happy to cancel my plan for me. I’m gonna give it a try and see if maybe now, I’m on the right plan.

I’ve been with Vista for almost a year now. When I went with them, they were the only one that made sense at the time ‘cause everybody else I talked to is trying to get me to buy their solar panel. I've had great interactions with the Vista guys. My life is crazy right now but they made it super easy for me to do anything and adjust, so it’s nice. They hooked up the account and I get the emails on time on how much my bill is gonna be and how much kilowatt. Whenever I needed to contact somebody, they answered quickly.
The only thing Vista can improve on is communicating because it took us a while before our solar got turned on. It was ‘cause they were waiting for the City of Vacaville and everything else. It would've probably been easier if they communicated with us what was going on instead of leaving us in the dark for two months. It would have given us a clear image on what we were waiting for instead of us not understanding. Other than that, my bill was really high in my notice last month. But when I got my PG&E bill, they credit me back for energy and gas. So, the cost is fine. I love Vista.

I’ve had a good experience with Vista Energy. The provision has been good, but everything still runs through Ameren for me. The reps from Vista were nice and polite. Since switching to them, the bill has been a bit lower. In the wintertime, it is higher than a kite, but that was because I’m heating the outside. I live in a trailer house and trailer houses are not known for their energy efficiency.

Someone knocked on my door and said that Vista Energy would be a supplier and if I did that, I would get a $100 gift card. It was intimidating, so I went with it. After switching to Vista, I got my monthly bill and it was so high. I had to call customer service and change the per-unit charge to a lesser one because they didn’t give me any options. I told them about the charges that I had and that I didn't know why I should have a higher rate than what I had before. They explained about the charges and I said that when I compared to my previous supplier, the charge was less. They said they could match it, and I went with the one that matched my previous supplier. Though this month has not been much less, it's fair enough.

I signed up with Vista Energy two light bills ago, but the guys from Vista told me that they would pick the bill up after about three light bills. Their reps were very nice and helpful. They explained everything to me. The bill sounded decent when they discussed that to me. My husband and I had been on certain things before. But when he died, the light bill went into my name and whatever the light company gave me is what I kept because I didn’t know how to do it. I paid $135 on the bill I got now and Vista's reps said that would go into half, and I liked that. I work for about 17 hours a week so I don’t have money to buy anything by the time I pay all my bills.

I saw a lower monthly bill with Vista towards the beginning when I signed up. It was going good but I signed up for a bundle and it was unlimited. You pay like the larger fee and anything after, you wouldn't have to pay. That worked for the first few bills. But then I noticed that the rate didn’t stay and I've been way too busy to call and figure out what was going on. I wish it was a little clearer with the rates, when they changed, and for whatever reason they changed. Other than that, the reps were polite and helpful.

Vista came to the house and explained that the result on the payment at each month would be better. They made the sign-up process very easy. We had to get my mother’s medical card as one of the things to verify that my mother was eligible to get that. They also wanted to take a look at one of her old payments. Customer service has been good, but our bill’s still pretty high which I don’t understand.

Vista didn’t give us full disclosure on what they meant with their rate structures and they made an effort to hide from us the fact that it wasn’t an inclusive power rate and that we would still be charged other parts of the power bill regarding generation and transmission. Also, they refused to cancel it. I threatened them with arbitration or litigation to get them to even respond to me. And when everything came down to it, I had to contact PPL and tell them that Vista was no longer authorized to provide us power. I had to have the service company, PPL, cancel them because they still were unwilling to do anything at that point in time.

I switched to Vista Energy after being told that I would get a discounted rate of 7.9 and that I would be getting a Visa credit card in five to seven days. Though I haven't looked at the rate yet, my bill is now at 160 bucks from 200 something last month. Vista sent me a letter that said I should activate my card, but I didn’t have internet so I called. However, they said I have to have good credit for six months before I could get the card. Why would they send out a letter to activate the card and then tell me I would get it six months later?

PG&E notified us with the different providers carrying gas, and based on the price, we signed up with Vista. Their customer service is very good. We've been enrolled with them for a couple of years now and have locked-in a certain rate, which in two months we would see if it goes down. I've been waiting for them to reduce the price.

I had a different electric company before for 12 months, and then Vista came to the door. They did not wanna give up until they convinced me. They were making sense, and I grabbed what they were offering me. I use them for electric but I'm wondering why my gas wasn’t changed over too. They were supposed to send me a $100 Visa card, and I didn’t get another one. Nevertheless, the Vista reps who came were very nice and helpful.

I was using a different electric company and I found Vista through research through Pennsylvania Power and Light. I liked their price and enrolled online. I got an email saying I got approved and then a letter in the mail. I pay PPL, so I don't even pay Vista. They run their energy, which is weird because I'm from Arkansas, and when I lived in Oklahoma, it wasn't like that.
Now I pay PPL and PPL pays Vista. I'd use PPL myself, but it's cheaper going through other people for some reason, and I don't understand it. I signed up for a three-month deal with Vista and it ends at the end of this month, so I'll have to sign up again for something else. If friends asked me who to go to, I'd say look on the PPL website. Nevertheless, Vista's service is good because it hasn't gone out, so I'm happy.

I liked Vista Energy’s low price and I signed up online where everything worked seamlessly. Once the introductory price expired, then I went to a variable price. And once I'm out of my time period, that's when I shopped around for more because I've gotten burned in the past, not necessarily from Vista Energy, but from other companies with variable prices that jacked it way up. The overall service provided compared to the price I paid when I was with Vista was excellent. Check out their prices. It might be a good deal.

One of Vista Energy Marketing door-to-door salesman came to my door on a week day during working business hours in March of 2018. I was not even home at the time and my significant other answered the door. He is not on my lease, nor is his name on my Ameren account. He told the salesman he did not live there, and that the renter (myself) was not home. The salesman performed the typical speech of stating he needed to see the Ameren bill and could save us “x” amount of dollars per month.
My significant other repeated that he did not live there, and the salesman then insisted he provide his name and phone number, so he could "check this address off his list, so he didn't have to come back". My significant other felt pressured to provide the salesman with his name and phone number as he is not familiar with these types of salesman and was unsure of who the salesman was, or what type of service he was trying to provide. Let me make it very clear that my significant other DID NOT agree to ANY changes nor would he be authorized to make changes even if he wished to do so. I then received a letter a week later for my "Electric Supplier Choice Confirmation" stating that my new supplier would go into effect the next month within two business days of my account’s scheduled meter reading date, April 23, 2019.
My significant other is NOT on my Ameren account and therefore he is not authorized to make ANY changes to my account, even if he did agree to make a change to my supplier – which he did not. This salesman ILLEGALLY made changes to my Ameren supplier without my consent to receive whatever commission it is they are receiving for each person who agrees to change suppliers.
This practice should not be tolerated or gone unnoticed. I would also like to note that I live in the city of Collinsville, Illinois where solicitation from these suppliers is ILLEGAL. I am only aware of this law because another one of these “Ameren suppliers” was at my door just a few months ago when a Collinsville Police Officer walked up in the middle of the salesman’s speech and stated these laws and asked him to leave. The Officer stated that under no circumstance is there to be ANY door-to-door solicitation of ANY kind in the City of Collinsville and he must leave immediately. I can understand the salesman are just doing their jobs, but to make changes to my personal Ameren account without ever having spoken a single word to me is crossing a line of legality. These actions must be stopped as they made illegal changes to my Ameren account without my consent.

I signed up with Vista Energy Marketing three weeks ago and my interactions with their reps were good and seamless. They were professional, answered my questions and got me what I needed. I understood how the rate worked and they gave me a quote over the phone based on what I used per month on average. Vista's 4.99 cents per kilowatt-hour caught my attention. They had a really low rate and even though they had a $30 a month service charge, the rate was still lower than what I would be paying other companies. Plus, the quality of their service has been above-average. I'd recommend Vista. My overall experience with them had been great. Plus, they've met my expectations. I look forward to a lasting relationship with them.
