    When the Vista Energy rep said, “When you sign up, we would give you a gift card to Walmart,” my niece said, “Auntie Kitty, yes, give this.” I said, “Okay. I’m going to sign up.” But I never got the gift card. I called and they said that I have to do something online. But I told the customer service lady that the man didn't say that. Because I'm disabled and I can't do too much stuff online. Somebody has to help me. So I just said, “Forget it.” But I still saved my energy and I’ll recommend Vista Energy. But I’m not satisfied because I wish they would’ve made it clearer about the gift card. I’m not worried about the gift card. It’s just the principle of it.

    The price with Vista is pretty good and I didn’t have problems with them. I want to keep my account but I need to make sure of the price they promised me.     There was a time when we were asked if we were to go with Vista and I went because I didn't know any difference. I haven't crunched the numbers, but it feels like I'm paying more using Vista Energy. It feels like, "Why am I paying all this? Why am I paying this much to them and I'm paying this much through Vista Energy." They said, "If you're not paying us, you're gonna be paying it to them anyway." I don't know if that's true or not. I also thought about switching back to PG&E just to get rid of Vista. They're a broker and right now, especially with all the stuff that's going on in the world, every nickel counts.

    I went from a daily rate charge to a per-therm charge, and Vista didn't notify me. I called to find out and I was told that it was all listed in the contract when I originally signed up, which was three years ago. They should give notice people when they're going to do the increase instead of depending on the original contract and people to know that. But I like working with Vista a lot. Their customer service is very good, responsive and agreeable, which is different from some of the other energy companies that are available. They will work with you. I asked them to re-rate a bill that came in and they said that they couldn’t change the current bill but what they could send me a refund. PG&E or SMUD would have never done that.

    I looked over my bills for the last year and it looked like I would save money with Vista Energy so I switched. Signing up was very simple and I'm satisfied with them. I got a special price for one year and I'm concerned if that's going to go up at the end of the year. I'm hoping there would be some other deal that I would be able to get. It's up to the customer to keep track of the renewal time. I find that a little bit nerve-wracking but I can see why a company doesn't wanna do anything because they can hit you with higher prices then. But every year I can change if I need to if somebody doesn't give me a deal.

    I had to call on a bill when I disconnected my River home. They charged me $150 disconnect fee. They reversed the charge, though. They are better than other companies, pricing-wise. But they should have a chat available instead of having to call and wait on hold forever. But they have good service and I've never had any real issues.

    I used another gas place, but I wasn't happy with it, so I cancelled it. Vista is fairly good. I like it. I haven't had any issues with it, and they're giving us the best prices out there. I've had really great interactions with the employees from Vista that's called me and that I've called. A week and a half ago, I called to renew my Vista, and the representative was really nice, understanding, and helped me out a lot. With Vista, my gas bill is lower. I've noticed that.     Vista's rate is very competitive. My only complaint about them is that it wasn't clear to me that the year-to-year arrangement we're doing with them was a year-to-year until I called. I can do all my bills online so I don't always notice changes. There was a big increase in what we were paying because it defaulted to a very high rate. I called Vista and discovered that I have to call year to year to sign up again in which case the rate is extremely competitive. But, if I miss that date, I start paying quite a bit. Other than that, the people I've talked to there have been super helpful. If I know to ask them when my plan is gonna expire, they tell me. They didn't make it hard to get on another plan.

    With Vista Energy, I could have my light and my gas from the same company than to have two different companies. I've been with them going on a year and they're reliable. I had questions and the rep answered them with no problem. My bill had gone down too. It's gone back up again but that's because I'm using my heat now. The light bill went up because of the Christmas lights. I have to see when my contract is up in April on what's their rates are going to be. I change periodically to get a lower price to save me money. I usually get locked into a price for a year then at the end of that year, it goes up so it forces me to have to go and change suppliers because I can get a better price somewhere else.     I got a letter from Vista that next year, my rate will go up. I called and I told them I didn't want that but their rep said that I would have to call back at a later date to make arrangements. She also said that it was because that's when my contract would be up. But I didn't understand that and that was pretty odd. She said that the variable rate would change from month to month and I told her that I wanted one rate. I wanted to be on one straight plan and I didn't want the rate to run up and down each month because my husband and I are in social security and we have a fixed income. I have to have one rate that I know I'm going to pay.

    Also, when I signed up for Vista, they said that they were going to send me a gift card and light bulbs, but I've never received that. Other than that, we've never had problems with Vista until I tried to talk to this girl. It dampened my overview of Vista because she said she would send me something in the mail. That was in October and when I called her in December, around the 21st, I still didn’t get anything. I'm dissatisfied because they said one thing then they didn't do it. It's like me saying I'm going to pay my bill, but I didn't pay it. I would have liked that when I called her, she'd tell me about their plans and which one would work for me. So, they'd enroll me in this plan as of the date and when it discontinues, then the next one would take its place.

    Vista came to my door and I entertained them. To do 99 cents as opposed to the fee on my current bill sounded like a win-win. I went with them and three weeks after I signed up, another guy came. I told him that I've already signed up with Vista. he asked to see the paperwork I received. I got it and then he said that I needed to do this and that. I told him that I didn't need to do anything and that I was in a hurry. I reported it because I felt that he was trying to change something to take credit from the guy I initially signed up with. It was really shady because he was adamant about me getting a phone and doing something. So far, I haven't noticed the difference and my bill is higher with Vista Energy. I was surprised by how high it was.

    I didn't want to sign up with any other company to deliver any kind of utilities or anything to my house. I wanted to just deal with PG&E by themselves. They are the provider because they still bill me. It's a PG&E bill. It's not a Vista bill or whatever company that is out there. They are not billing me. They are just on my bill, but the bill is still coming from PG&E, which confused me a bit because I feel like that everybody else that is not PG&E is a bunch of third party people that is trying to get extra money.

    When Vista came out to sign me up for the energy part to get the gas delivered, they sat there and said they would give me a gift card for $25. And as long as I paid my bill on time, it would accumulate. But I never got the gift card, and when I called them, the rep had to go through a bunch of loops, bells and whistles just to get it, and I still haven't got it. It's a pain in the butt. I was hoping to get it before the holidays. That would help me with little things due to this pandemic. Any little change would help.

I've been waiting on Vista to send me a gift card for signing up. I had emailed them about my gift card because I had never claimed it and it says within three months, I could claim it.     Vista Energy had a better deal than what I was getting from Dominion. I signed up with Vista and it's a year-to-year thing. I renewed a couple of times and it's been easy. That's the best thing because if I don't want it next year, I don't have to take it. I renewed with them last month. They put a representative on and they tell you that you don't have to renew. If you keep with them, they still keep the rate they give and there's some $5 charge. Vista sends me a letter every year and I look at the rate. I look at the rate that Dominion is gonna give too and usually, Vista is always a little better. It's not the greatest deal on Earth but they have been good. Also, Vista must be down in Texas somewhere. If you're in a certain state, you hit a certain number, and they give you a person who takes care of that territory.

    I went from paying aprox $77 for gas to paying aprox $347 some months more. I had autopay on my PG&E bill so it took me 3 moths to notice how high the bill was. They had already robbed me over $1,000. They came to my door and told me I could pay about half the price of gas per therm. They said there would be a "small" delivery fee. Not true, this company is a complete SCAM!!!! You will not save any money, do not do it!!!!

    I was signing up for a different company that PG&E worked with, and I figured that I’d try this company out because they were supposed to be lower. The customer service has been calling and asking how it'd been working out. They have all been nice. But as for my bill, it's the same. Then they told me that I'd be getting a $25 gift card. I never received it, and six months after that or three after that, I'd probably be getting a $50 gift card. I haven't received that as well. When another company comes out, I'll be testing it out.

    Vista Energy is all a gimmick. When they get you to sign with them, they tell you they're giving you $100 to sign on with them and they actually give you nothing. My first electric bill seemed cheaper but every bill after that just seemed higher. Their prices were not what I paid. My bill was always higher and I ended up paying more. Then I had signed the contract, so there was no way I could get out of it because I had to pay a $175 penalty if I broke the contract.

    Vista Energy came to the house and asked me what energy services we used. They said that our bill would drop significantly if we went with their services. Signing up was simple. We had signed up with another carrier similar to them. Our bill did drop a lot and we were really happy.     I tried canceling Vista Energy just recently, but I couldn't. I have to contact them. The experience has been okay, except for my bill. I'm in an apartment. What they explained to me was my bill was gonna be lower and no surcharge. But when I've been getting my bill it is a little cheaper as far as the gas price per unit but the surcharges made my bill bigger than it ever has been. Now, if I had a big house and had the gas on all the time, I can understand where it would be cheaper. But for them to do apartment complexes, it's really not economical at all. I was dissatisfied because they didn't explain the surcharge to me at all.

    They came to my door and were offering the service. I listened to what they had to say and it sounded like a good idea. It was gonna lower my gas bill by almost 75% and it did. I just renewed the service last week. I called them and gave them my name and address. They looked at my account then said I'm good to go for the next year. They also lowered my rate. My thermal unit rate went from was 60 cents to 44 cents. Before I had this, with regular PG&E, I was paying almost $175 per unit. My gas bill in the wintertime used to be almost $300 because I put the heater on. Now it's $130 at the most. I get a statement on my PG&E bill that has Vista at the very bottom and it shows how much I pay them. Vista has been really good. I have recommended it to many people at work and a lot of people have called and said, "You're right. It lowered my gas bill dramatically." They've all told me nothing but good things about them.

The pricing was good but my first year kinda sucked. When they asked me to keep with them, instead of changing to somebody else, they gave me a pretty good deal like a fixed rate.     When I bought this house, it was already with Vista, but I'm gonna change it as soon as the new service comes out. I own 13 properties and I want everybody on the same page. This one time, there was a misread meter. Vista provides the product, but Black Hills utilities takes care of the meters. When I called Black Hills, they said to call Vista, so I did. They said, "Nope, not our territory. Black Hills needs to fix it." and it has been rectified. My experience with Vista would be fine, except their price is double what I'm paying for my other properties, which is why I would discontinue it. I'm not dissatisfied in any way, but I don't think it's fair to my tenants to pay twice as much to Vista.

    I switched to Ameren from Vista because when I got my bill, I had to call them since my electric jumped up. Before I switched to Vista, they told me this was gonna stay 4-point for a year. But when I called them, nobody told me that it went from 4-point up to 7 cents per kilowatt-hour. I’m on disability and I get one check a month. It messed me up.     The guy from Vista showed up at my door doing door-to-door and I took a chance. I figured I could try Vista Energy for a couple of months, see how it works and then compare it with what PG&E is giving me. I was getting my gas directly from PG&E. I have considered going back to them temporarily so that I can compare the rates. Because it seems like my bills are a little higher now than what they used to be.

    I spoke with the rep of Vista and the lady seemed like she was trying to be as extremely helpful as she could. She let me know I was on a very high price plan through them and that with my energy needs that I could go down to the lower one. But even now, under the amount per kilowatt, it still seems a little high compared to what I used to pay. Because my electric and gas are combined through PG&E. My bills were only 50 bucks a month tops and now, I'm seeing them at like 70 to 80.

    Don't do Vista. I originally had DP&L. But there was a gentleman that came out in our neighborhood to sign up to Vista and offered us this great deal. He said I was gonna get a gift card and all these benefits so I signed us up. That was last year and I've never seen any gift cards or any benefits. The bill was more than what my old bill was. DP&L was cheaper.

    I called Vista back and asked to speak to somebody. I asked, “Why is this bill so expensive compared to what we've already been used to over the past year?” The gentleman there explained to me that that’s my kilowatt cost. I was like, “Okay, well, then I'm going to go back to DP&L. I'm sorry to bother you.” They told me that they could make me a deal of 0.699 instead of 0.899 on my kilowatt usage. I agreed to that and stayed with them. That was two months ago and I've yet to see the deal on my bill. I did like Vista. I didn't have a problem, other than the bill that was pretty high up.

    A Vista Energy rep came to my door and I was kind of swept in and signed up for it before I really knew what else happened. The guy was really slick and seemed very trustworthy. He just gave me a quick spiel. He had a quick look at my power bill and then he was out the door. So, it was probably a little scattered. I actually had some reservations after he left. It all happened so fast that I was afraid that I might have let myself be victimized by a scam. Once I've signed up, I continue to get my gas from the local provider, PG&E, and PG&E handles the billing for them. There was one follow-up with Vista not too long ago where I came across the paperwork and saw there were some rewards cards that I was supposed to sign up for. I received those and they were quite pleasant about that. So, that was actually one of the first times I was able to reassure myself that they were legit.

    The rep said that I should save money with Vista. But in the time since I signed up with them, my utility bills had gone up but it was mostly because of electricity. If I had two minutes to rub together, I’d really like to do a comparison to see what I was actually paying for my gas compared to what I would have paid had I not signed up for them. But I'm not quite sure where I can find that information.

    A man that was coming around our apartment complex and he just said that Vista Energy would cost so much less. But I haven't seen that that has happened. My understanding was that Vista was more electric and I didn't even know that they involved gas. But they were just involved here with gas. One of the problems is that our apartments are not well insulated at all and I'm on the top floor. The situation has been so different lately with how hot it is so the air conditioning has to run all the time. It has always been a problem up here in Auburn especially in the summertime.

    I have gotten some help because I've got physical problems. I called PG&E and was signed up with a program with them because of that. But I've never heard from Vista. I've looked at my bill and I can't even really tell what they do. PG&E shows on their bill where the subtractions are, but I don't even recognize what belongs to Vista on there. So Vista should have some responsibility for identifying their savings. I've also never heard anything from them since I've signed up. It's all done through PG&E.

    So happy that your agent helped me to lower our gas rate per therm and had renewed our contract with the new rate for a year. We didn’t receive any letter or any correspondence stating that we need to renew our contract every year to secure the cheapest rate per therm. We’ve been paying a higher rate after the first year unbeknown to us that we need to call every year and renew.

The activity in the salespeople's brains was definitely the kind where they had to get a sale to get paid. That's how I felt from how they acted. But everything else was fine.     I had one of your salesman come to my gate of my front porch. He Could not open my gate so he yelled at me through my front door. When I came out he started his speech and I started shaking my head and he told me to stop shaking my head. I asked him to leave at least three times and he just kept at his little speech. I told him he was trespassing, the sign was right beside him and if he doesn’t leave I’m gonna let my dog out of the house. He threatened to call the cops on me. Now mind you, he is on the outside of my gate. He still refused to leave. So I called my dog. At that moment he left my property. Threatening to call the cops. I have audio and video of this whole situation. No cop showed up. I had my proof waiting. But because of his rude pushy inconsiderate attitude I would never consider doing business with you. If this is the type of people that you hire they are making your company look really really really bad.

    Vista Energy's reps have always been nice and helpful. With just a certain amount, which was 60 cents a day, it was nice during the winter months when I would use my gas more for my heater. But now that we're in the summer months and I don't use my heater, I ended up having to call. And I got a different plan going on because I paid more than the energy I used for gas. And then, even now, when I called and told the reps, “I don't use this much and I'm paying for it,” they were able to set me up with a different plan type. So, I've had a good experience so far.

    The guy came and knocked on the door. We got it for the gift cards. But, I do not see any difference in my bill. It is still high all the time. But, it does not matter. I have had different many providers that I do not see too much of a change in my bill. The gentleman sold to my neighbors and I, and he was a charm. And we all signed up with Vista because he was nice, telling us stuff, and that was what made us do it. But then, we are trying to get the discount we were supposed to get. They told us the first six months, we get $50, then the next six months, we would get another 50. We would get $100 total discount. They are supposed to send me a card, but I have not received it yet. I will keep it if their word is good.

    I chose to keep the same plan because they are so very difficult to understand. My plan was changed and price was raised by $40/month (which is almost a 70% increase). Customer service was no help and told me I was stuck with this pricing for a year. There was no offer of help at all. Any company who completely disregards a loyal customer's concerns and refuses to assist is a huge disappointment. I would suggest prospective customers do a lot of research before choosing this company. As soon as I can change my plan to another company, I will be changing.

    I went on the PP&L website and looked for suppliers to get prices from. I went down through the list, and Vista was the one that I found that had what looked like the most reasonable price. The price per kilowatts is a good. I didn’t look at the small print though, and I saw that I’d get a charge of a dollar a day on top of whatever their price is. But I got my last bill a week or two ago and it wasn’t anything higher than normal. Enrolling online wasn’t too difficult. I had my PP&L bill with me and then they just asked for the account number, and this and that. Since I’ve made the change, Titan calls me pretty much every day trying to get my business back, but I just hang up.
