My bill used to come in like 15 bucks with Vista. But as they said that my bill could go up after the first year. I'm believing that it went up after the first year. I'm paying like $50 now. I've been waiting on Vista to send me a gift card for signing up. I had emailed them about my gift card because I had never claimed it and it says within three months, I could claim it. I had them for over a year. As far as their customer service, I do like how they get back to you ASAP which is a plus for me because a lot of people will have you on hold, especially in this time right now.

Vista Energy had a better deal than what I was getting from Dominion. I signed up with Vista and it's a year-to-year thing. I renewed a couple of times and it's been easy. That's the best thing because if I don't want it next year, I don't have to take it. I renewed with them last month. They put a representative on and they tell you that you don't have to renew. If you keep with them, they still keep the rate they give and there's some $5 charge. Vista sends me a letter every year and I look at the rate. I look at the rate that Dominion is gonna give too and usually, Vista is always a little better. It's not the greatest deal on Earth but they have been good. Also, Vista must be down in Texas somewhere. If you're in a certain state, you hit a certain number, and they give you a person who takes care of that territory.

So, it's cheaper for me to go to PG&E. Recently, Vista Energy sent me the paperwork for renewal and a $25 gift card. I'm hesitating, because if I do that, I might end up signing with them for a longer time.

I went from paying aprox $77 for gas to paying aprox $347 some months more. I had autopay on my PG&E bill so it took me 3 moths to notice how high the bill was. They had already robbed me over $1,000. They came to my door and told me I could pay about half the price of gas per therm. They said there would be a "small" delivery fee. Not true, this company is a complete SCAM!!!! You will not save any money, do not do it!!!!

The customer service has been calling and asking how it'd been working out. They have all been nice. But as for my bill, it's the same. Then they told me that I'd be getting a $25 gift card. I never received it, and six months after that or three after that, I'd probably be getting a $50 gift card. I haven't received that as well. When another company comes out, I'll be testing it out.

Vista Energy is all a gimmick. When they get you to sign with them, they tell you they're giving you $100 to sign on with them and they actually give you nothing. My first electric bill seemed cheaper but every bill after that just seemed higher. Their prices were not what I paid. My bill was always higher and I ended up paying more. Then I had signed the contract, so there was no way I could get out of it because I had to pay a $175 penalty if I broke the contract.

I tried canceling Vista Energy just recently, but I couldn't. I have to contact them. The experience has been okay, except for my bill. I'm in an apartment. What they explained to me was my bill was gonna be lower and no surcharge. But when I've been getting my bill it is a little cheaper as far as the gas price per unit but the surcharges made my bill bigger than it ever has been. Now, if I had a big house and had the gas on all the time, I can understand where it would be cheaper. But for them to do apartment complexes, it's really not economical at all. I was dissatisfied because they didn't explain the surcharge to me at all.

They came to my door and were offering the service. I listened to what they had to say and it sounded like a good idea. It was gonna lower my gas bill by almost 75% and it did. I just renewed the service last week. I called them and gave them my name and address. They looked at my account then said I'm good to go for the next year. They also lowered my rate. My thermal unit rate went from was 60 cents to 44 cents. Before I had this, with regular PG&E, I was paying almost $175 per unit. My gas bill in the wintertime used to be almost $300 because I put the heater on. Now it's $130 at the most. I get a statement on my PG&E bill that has Vista at the very bottom and it shows how much I pay them. Vista has been really good. I have recommended it to many people at work and a lot of people have called and said, "You're right. It lowered my gas bill dramatically." They've all told me nothing but good things about them.

I was with Vista for about two years and it was always pretty straightforward. As far as gas services go, as long as you pay your bill, you're good to go. The pricing was good but my first year kinda sucked. When they asked me to keep with them, instead of changing to somebody else, they gave me a pretty good deal like a fixed rate. It was really good, but I just moved and they took me off of there. The property I moved to already had a set plan and Vista wasn't able to keep mine. I liked mine better, but they didn't allow it. They called me and told me about a cancellation and they're pretty nice there.

When I bought this house, it was already with Vista, but I'm gonna change it as soon as the new service comes out. I own 13 properties and I want everybody on the same page. This one time, there was a misread meter. Vista provides the product, but Black Hills utilities takes care of the meters. When I called Black Hills, they said to call Vista, so I did. They said, "Nope, not our territory. Black Hills needs to fix it." and it has been rectified. My experience with Vista would be fine, except their price is double what I'm paying for my other properties, which is why I would discontinue it. I'm not dissatisfied in any way, but I don't think it's fair to my tenants to pay twice as much to Vista.

I switched to Ameren from Vista because when I got my bill, I had to call them since my electric jumped up. Before I switched to Vista, they told me this was gonna stay 4-point for a year. But when I called them, nobody told me that it went from 4-point up to 7 cents per kilowatt-hour. I’m on disability and I get one check a month. It messed me up. Now, I owe about 500 dollars and my power is gonna get shut off on the 30th because I chose Vista. I’m very dissatisfied. I was also supposed to get a Walmart card but I haven't gotten it yet.

The guy from Vista showed up at my door doing door-to-door and I took a chance. I figured I could try Vista Energy for a couple of months, see how it works and then compare it with what PG&E is giving me. I was getting my gas directly from PG&E. I have considered going back to them temporarily so that I can compare the rates. Because it seems like my bills are a little higher now than what they used to be.

I spoke with the rep of Vista and the lady seemed like she was trying to be as extremely helpful as she could. She let me know I was on a very high price plan through them and that with my energy needs that I could go down to the lower one. But even now, under the amount per kilowatt, it still seems a little high compared to what I used to pay. Because my electric and gas are combined through PG&E. My bills were only 50 bucks a month tops and now, I'm seeing them at like 70 to 80.

I've been on Vista Energy now for some years and it still isn't cheaper. I've been paying attention to my bill and it has always been 25. So Vista Energy was charging me a flat rate a month but if I'm not using that much, I don't want to be charged that much. I still got the regular $25 charge from the last bill that I received and my PG&E bill was only $9. So I have to pay $37 for my gas that I don't use that often. So I was going to remove Vista Energy but their rep put me on a different plan. So I was gonna give them one more chance.

Don't do Vista. I originally had DP&L. But there was a gentleman that came out in our neighborhood to sign up to Vista and offered us this great deal. He said I was gonna get a gift card and all these benefits so I signed us up. That was last year and I've never seen any gift cards or any benefits. The bill was more than what my old bill was. DP&L was cheaper.

I called Vista back and asked to speak to somebody. A Vista Energy rep came to my door and I was kind of swept in and signed up for it before I really knew what else happened. The guy was really slick and seemed very trustworthy. He just gave me a quick spiel. He had a quick look at my power bill and then he was out the door. So, it was probably a little scattered. I actually had some reservations after he left. It all happened so fast that I was afraid that I might have let myself be victimized by a scam. Once I've signed up, I continue to get my gas from the local provider, PG&E, and PG&E handles the billing for them. There was one follow-up with Vista not too long ago where I came across the paperwork and saw there were some rewards cards that I was supposed to sign up for. I received those and they were quite pleasant about that. So, that was actually one of the first times I was able to reassure myself that they were legit.

The rep said that I should save money with Vista. But in the time since I signed up with them, my utility bills had gone up but it was mostly because of electricity. If I had two minutes to rub together, I’d really like to do a comparison to see what I was actually paying for my gas compared to what I would have paid had I not signed up for them. But I'm not quite sure where I can find that information.

A man that was coming around our apartment complex and he just said that Vista Energy would cost so much less. But I haven't seen that that has happened. My understanding was that Vista was more electric and I didn't even know that they involved gas. But they were just involved here with gas. One of the problems is that our apartments are not well insulated at all and I'm on the top floor. The situation has been so different lately with how hot it is so the air conditioning has to run all the time. It has always been a problem up here in Auburn especially in the summertime.

I have gotten some help because I've got physical problems. I called PG&E and was signed up with a program with them because of that. But I've never heard from Vista. I've looked at my bill and I can't even really tell what they do. PG&E shows on their bill where the subtractions are, but I don't even recognize what belongs to Vista on there. So Vista should have some responsibility for identifying their savings. I've also never heard anything from them since I've signed up. It's all done through PG&E.

I had one of your salesman come to my gate of my front porch. He Could not open my gate so he yelled at me through my front door. When I came out he started his speech and I started shaking my head and he told me to stop shaking my head. I asked him to leave at least three times and he just kept at his little speech. I told him he was trespassing, the sign was right beside him and if he doesn’t leave I’m gonna let my dog out of the house. He threatened to call the cops on me. Now mind you, he is on the outside of my gate. He still refused to leave. So I called my dog. At that moment he left my property. Threatening to call the cops. I chose to keep the same plan because they are so very difficult to understand. My plan was changed and price was raised by $40/month (which is almost a 70% increase). Customer service was no help and told me I was stuck with this pricing for a year. There was no offer of help at all. I get the phone calls every day or sometimes twice a day from Vista and some other companies too. The one from Vista was always coming from Preston, Nebraska. Also, I am hearing impaired, so I don’t always get everything that’s being said. I tell them I wanna look at it on paper or on the computer but they still continue to call. I finally got to the point where I was declining calls because it was interfering with work. I also spoke to them to check and to see the two-year fixed rate. I've seen the Vista Energy Marketing rep in a store, but I didn’t know whether to trust him or not with stuff going on. But when the guy knocked on the door and I looked out, two of my neighbors were signing up, so I signed up, too. They said that they put a new gas line for this area and that some other processes would probably be different and that we will get lower prices. I was told that if I signed up with them, I'd get a better price for my electricity and that it would stay where it was at. They also said that I'm supposed to get a $50 Visa card. I've gotten and bill and there was a $2 difference. As of now, I’m satisfied with Vista Energy Marketing.

Vista Energy is cool. They got the bill knocked down. They came knocking and told me what was going on with my energy bill. They offered to stop that bill from getting up to $161 and make it at about $35 a month. When I was signing up, they brought the paperwork and ran it through the iPad and they were good to go. With Vista, I’ve never paid that $160 a month.

The Vista Energy rep talked to me and said that they were going to help me with the percentage. But I just wanted DP&L. They also told me about the special offers and I didn’t want that. I called to cancel the order, but they said I couldn’t. They said that I owe them $202. They scammed me. I heard they do that stuff to me all the time because I’m on Social Security and disability. The rep was fair but didn’t act like she wanted to hear my story.

I had another provider before and they were okay. When I got Vista Energy Marketing, they were wonderful at first. In the summer months, they were 1.99 which was really nice. Then they went up to 4.99 in the winter month and that was too high for me. I called Vista and the lady told me that the lowest she could go down was $0.50, so it was 4.49, and I appreciated that. But that was getting a bit extremely too high for my gas bill. I left them because someone else came to me with 3.49 and that was a whole dollar cheaper. I don't know why their rates are so low in the summer and it goes up so high in the winter. They know that we’re gonna use our gas in the winter because it’s cold. And for them to go up that expense on a person when they’re really using it, that’s terrible. But overall, I was satisfied.

The lady from Vista Energy Marketing that came out was courteous, but she didn't tell the truth. Then she was training somebody at the same time. When they first told me about switching over, she said that there was gonna be $100 gift card coming in in three weeks. That didn't happen. When I called about it, they said after six months. She just was selling the product. The switch went fine and I've had them for two months but I didn't see any difference in my bill. Now, I'm getting ready to switch back over for my energy and the gas.

I called a few weeks ago because our bill was atrocious. There are two people that live in this house and our bill was $475 in December. We’re total electric, but it was too much. I thought the rep said we were paying 19 cents and then we were under contract. But after I called, I got a contract expiration notice. It stated that my contract expired on January 16, 2020 and that I had a fixed rate plan before January 16th. It also stated that the variable rate plan is described in my current agreement and includes the monthly service fee of 5.95. It said I could call them if I would like to enroll in another fixed rate plan, which I did, and the rep put us on a new plan. So I’m waiting to see what our bill is this month.
