    I had PG&E then I went with Vista Energy. The representatives were very nice, good people and didn’t pressure me. They asked nice questions and told me what I had to know and what would be going on. We also had a couple of neighbors we had talked about it. I was curious and so I'm trying it and I will see how it goes with the bills for the next few months. As soon as I get more billing, I would know how it is and then how it's happening and what's going on. But so far, everything is going smooth and the quality of service has been fine.

    Vista Energy Marketing is the only one that has a dollar a day per charge and that’s okay. Their billing structure is different, but their rates are lower. They provided the lowest cost over six months. How they market works out good, and it’s an attractive alternative for the right people. It was all done online, and it was very easy and transparent. It’s satisfactory, but they’ve not done anything to wow me. At the end of my contract, if they can put together a reasonable rate, I will renew.

    Like others, a door to door salesman came to my door and touted the benefits of Vista Energy; he was polite and I thought I understood what he was telling me. I was shocked when I received my PG&E bill with an Admin charge of $0.99999 for 33 days, totaling a charge of $32.67 which more than doubled my usual bill. I called and canceled the program on May 21 but received another bill with another Admin charge of $30.69. This was a total rip off for me and I strongly resent being charged over $60 that I can ill afford to pay. I'm very upset over this. Vista Energy did not save me any money whatsoever. It did, in fact, cost me a lot.

    Vista Energy was a little bit cheaper compared to other companies. Everything that I did with them was through the computer and via mail. But I got one phone call because I selected a plan that wasn’t available to me because I wasn’t a new customer. They called to explain that and they were very nice on the phone. I'm paying a fair price for the service and I would recommend Vista. If you switched to them, you would get a better deal than what you're currently paying.

    Vista Energy came knocking on my door a while back and they told me they sell gas cheaper than PG&E. And if I can get anything cheaper, I'm definitely gonna go with it. But they didn't explain to me the in and outs of what they were doing and how it works. I only heard from Vista one time and that was about two weeks ago. They called me and said I owed them about $200 and I didn't know where that came from. I've never received invoice from them. I told them that I paid my gas bill through PG&E and I kept explaining to the guy that if he could explain to me how these charges came about but he could not do that. The way the whole thing was set up wasn't very good. I'm gonna call and tell them to cancel. If it's less hassle to pay a little bit more through PG&E, I'd rather do that. My experience with Vista was untrustworthy.

    Using Vista Energy feels like it might be working here and I told my friend that I'm saving some money with them. My bill was only $40 when it used to be $70 with Pacific Gas & Electricity. It has been very hot over here and my first bill using my central air is coming so I'll find how much I'm saving as soon as I get my bill. The only problem I have is not getting my free $50 Visa card. The reps couldn't help me 'cause I don't have the account number and I don't have anything that has an account number on it. Other than that, the rep was lovely and she wrote everything down for me on a piece of paper.

    I'm in my first month with Vista Energy and so far, it's good. The reps are really nice and they do their job. They give me the information I need so I haven't had any problems with them.     The Vista Energy Marketing rep in the parking lot stopped me and won’t let me move so I switched to Vista. She was overly aggressive, but it was in a good way and it was interesting. She was very straightforward. She told me that I would get a discount and my bill would be lower. However, two or three weeks after I signed for it, my apartment was caught on fire. I had to cancel the account because it was inhabitable so I couldn’t live there. When I closed the account, they sent a bill in and deducted it from my deposit. And the lady told me when I called to cancel that when I move into another place or move back into that place after it was fixed, I just have to call and they would start the service because I wanted the service too. I also called and talked to somebody about a gift card and they said that I wouldn’t receive it until December. Overall, I had a pleasant experience with Vista and I would recommend them.

    The kids that rolled up to sign me up weren’t super knowledgeable. I was in the driveway, leaving, and I took the time, very cordially, and listened. It sounded good so I signed up with Vista Energy. But they didn’t explain the tier level and just gave me what it would be per cubic feet and the difference between PG&E and Vista. And, of course, I was all, “Woo hoo, this is good.” I called Vista because our first bill had $45 for administrative fees. I said, “What's this?” and they dropped the price for me immediately. The lady was real nice and she said, “Well, how about $10 a month for the first year?” I said, “Well, it’s certainly better than this $49 just for administrative fees.” Then, I got the first bill and it's more like 30 bucks for my gas because of tier one, tier two.

    I've just had two bills and there's really no change other than my PG&E bill has a Vista page and so far, it has been more expensive for me. I'm somewhat disappointed by what I've paid to this point. This time of year, I've used very little gas. I'm about ready to go back to PG&E, but I'm gonna stay with Vista and just see how this thing rides out for a little bit.

Vista‘s customer service representative moved you to a fixed rate of 59.9 cents per term. Which is on your account now. Instead of the .89 cents per day, you will now only be billed for the gas used @ 59.9 cents per therm.

I asked the rep some questions and I was satisfied with his answers. He did a good job and I was comfortable working with him. However, at the end of the year, Vista doesn't provide me with a notice that it's time to renew. My gas bill skyrocketed and I didn't know why until I called them and found out that my year had expired. I had to renew but I should've been notified.

    I pay a low amount during the summer. My house has almost all electricity because it has an electric stove. It’s pretty low in the summer and in the winter it picks up. When you pan it all out, it becomes almost the equal portion. It went pretty smooth for the first time I was changing 'cause I've had PG&E for years and that's the dominant provider here in Sacramento. I just took a chance and so far, everything has been really good. All of them did a good job, even the young man that helped me apply. He was so patient. And it was amazing because it was raining and he was outside trying to help me fill out those paperwork.

    But I called Vista back right the next month because my bill was higher. Had I stayed with PG&E, it would have been lower. And then, I spoke to one of their representatives and she explained that in July, she was gonna put me on a program that's all year. That would have made my payment lower. She was pretty nice and she took the time to explain it to me. She did a good job. I'm just waiting to get to July to figure out how that's gonna work out, if I'm gonna stay with it or with PG&E. Go ahead and reach out like I did. See with your first month, and then check your second month. If it doesn't compare to what you're expecting, call and find it out. They might have something else to tell you.

Suggestion: your annual renewal letter quoted a rate much higher than the posted rate on the PA website which your representative explained was available only to renewal customers.     I used PG&E before and compared to them, Vista Energy is more expensive. I'm in a condo and all my stuff are electric. So my gas consumption is very low because the only thing I use it for is my water heater. Vista gave me a deal for 99 cents and now my bill is 50. However, when I was with PG&E, they charged a surcharge but usually my bill was $25. So, I called Vista over a month ago. I mentioned to them that this isn't gonna work because my bill has doubled and I'm on disability and I gotta watch my bills. The Vista rep that I talked to was very nice on the phone and she said that they were gonna take me to 59 cents and we would see how that would work out. So, I said I'm gonna give it another chance. But I already got a bill and the 59 cents was not on there. It probably takes a bit so I'm gonna be looking for that on my next statement.

    At this point, Vista Energy has been totally fine and I would not have any reservations about them in the future as long as they help me get my bill right around the same rate as before. Also, if my friends ask me about the company, I would ask them how much energy they use on their gas because if they use a very small amount like I do, going with Vista is not gonna work for them unless they get a very low rate that is not 99 cents.

    A Vista Energy Marketing rep came to the door and I was kind of iffy. He said no strings attached and I was like, "Yeah, 'cause I've been through this", specifically, with Sparks. And he said, "Well, you won't even really notice that. If so it might be like $5 or something but you're still gonna get a PG&E bill, nothing too much." I was like "Okay, well maybe I'll try it." And then, he's like "Every three months you get a $100." I'm like, "Well, I can go towards my PG&E bill" but I haven't even heard anything back about that and I haven't noticed a change in my bill.

    We signed up with Vista Energy a few months ago but it didn't actually kick in until May 18th. We're still with PG&E and they're like our third party. And, so far, so good. We've only had one bill and it's definitely lower. It was pretty high because we left the pilot running just so we can turn on the fireplace quickly but once we turned that pilot off, that made all the difference. If they guarantee to save you money on your PG & E, then go for it. However, we were supposed to get some type of gift card but it still hasn't come. It led me to think that the person who had me sign up was only working for their own benefit.

    We use the PA Energy website to find the best deals and we choose companies that don't have fees or fines when you end your contract early. We change our provider every three months because they offer a very good initial charge for three months but after that period, their prices go sky high. We've been doing that for the last few years and so far it has worked out pretty good.

    None of the companies that we've dealt with had been dishonest and they always provided what they said they were going to provide. We also find really good prices, so switching companies has been worth it. Otherwise, we'd be paying a couple of cents more per kilowatt hour and there's no need to do that. We're with Vista Energy right now and it was very easy to make the switch. I called them up, told them that we wanted to sign up, and they worked with PPL, our service provider. Our experience with Vista Energy has been good and as long as they provide the price that they offer, we're totally satisfied with them.

    I'm currently with Vista but like other companies, to be locked in for an extended period of time is a higher rate. That's why I do my search for low rates depending on my plan, usually every three to five months. But I’m getting tired of searching for low rates all the time.     I just started with Vista Energy and it’s similar to PPNL but way better than PECO. My interactions with them have been a hundred percent online. They sent me confirmations and said they would take care of everything and would coordinate everything with my current carrier. And then, I got a letter from my current carrier. Vista Energy did everything. I did nothing other than sign up and I got one bill.

    Their service is easy and it’s the cheapest available, although there is an issue. On the selection criteria, there are 200 places that you can buy electricity from in Pennsylvania and Vista Energy is very low at the bottom of the alphabet. I probably never would have gotten down to V if my son hadn't sent me an email and said he switched over to Vista. I downloaded the entire website and did the sort by alphabetical to find Vista. Overall Vista Energy is great. I’m curious to see what they’ll do when my twelve-month, first contract is up. But if the rates are anywhere similar, then we’ll continue.

    We’re moving in a couple of months. Vista Energy called me and they told me that if we have natural gas in the other house we were moving to, we can move our service, our gas selection, to that house. We had a great interaction with their reps and it was really easy. They just texted me the forms. When I was on the phone with them on my cell phone, I just opened the texts, then I used my finger and signed it. I texted it back and we just did it in two seconds. And I’m terrible. If they didn’t call me and we did the selection process over the phone, I’d forget about it. So, that was a good thing.

    I can do a yearly or a two-year plan. I just did a year this year. During the summer, it’d be like $28. And then the winter, it’d be like $400 if it’s really cold. We just pay 80 bucks a month year-round. Then it doesn’t matter if we use 10,000 gallons of hot water or 0 degrees for the whole month of September and we use the heat from September until May.

    Before I went with Vista, we had a yearlong contract with some other company. And when the contract expired, it went to a variable rate. We didn't realize that it went to variable rate where it saved double for our electric bill for a month. And then we made a switch. I've been shopping around through PPL market place every time they send an update with the prices change. And because of Vista's pricing and since there were no fees attached to their short term plan, I decided to sign up with them. So far, Vista Energy has been good. And I like that they can reevaluate the prices change in the market.

    I usually do everything online and Vista's service has been great so far. I'm not getting a bunch of telemarketing phone calls from them. I'm also not seeing my electric rate jump sky high without any warning, so I'm happy. The service is good in comparison to the price. I would tell my friends to give them a check out. It's definitely worth it and they'll save some money.
