Vista Energy offered the longest contract when you look at the contract per kilowatt rate assessment. I selected to go with them as I didn't want to do another three-month or six-month contract. Everything was done online. You go to the Pennsylvania website and it takes you there based on what your pre-qualifications were. Their website was easy to work with. Vista is the third energy supplier we've used and it's mostly based on rate. They should continue to be competitive and we'll stick with them.

I just changed last month to Vista Energy Marketing. The young woman I talked to did a good job explaining things to me. She also told me that I was gonna get a $100 gift certificate, but I have not received it yet. I’ve called and they told me that I would be receiving it but they didn’t say when. So far, I’ve gotten two bills and it has been cheaper than what I had in the past.

Every year, I switch to whoever is the cheapest, which is all I care about. At the time I signed up, Vista Energy Marketing was the cheapest so I locked them in for a year. I did the set-up online and their website was fine. So far, I've been satisfied with my experience with them.

I needed to find out just when my service with Vista was going to begin because it wasn't reflected on my March billing from PG&E. Ms ** found my record quickly and informed me of the status of my account. As this is the first experience with Vista, I will trust that it will go smoothly.

I would give negative stars if allowed! Agent Damien ** agent #** CA registration ** came to my home 2/2/19 and sold us gas at $30.00 dollars a month (no matter how much we used) and then there would be no more tier 2 charges from PG&E. While he was here we called the 800 number for verification and I was told I was approved (he mentioned my neighbor also signed up). Fast forward to now I get my PG&E bill for $813.48 and I call Vista. First I spoke with "Chris **" (manager) and explained my situation. He said that he was sorry but my application didn't go through because the Rep. was a recording (the one Damien called). Apparently this is against Vista regulation. He also said that it takes 15-45 days for an application to go through. I was never told that and my neighbor didn't have a problem. Theirs started within 5 days.
So I explained to Chris that I was under the impression that I was being charged the $30 (flat rate) through Vista and he said he was sorry that there is nothing he could do about the past bill. I asked for manager above him (his boss) so he said there was none and then I said "everyone has a boss". He transferred me to "Janet" badge #** and she was very rude, she is the manager of the call center. I asked to speak to her boss or someone that could help me. She said there is nothing they can do and HUNG UP ON ME! I can't believe after 2 hours of waiting on the phone that's was I get. So learn from my experience. I have a photo of the page of the person who sold this to me.

Vista Energy is not a scam and I am sorry you feel this way. Vista Energy has never billed you, your bill is from your current supplier. The enrollment was rejected by the utility not Vista Energy. Chris tried to explain this to you Ms. Estep. Thank you for your comments. I'm very sorry to hear that this was your experience. I will bring your concern to Damien's Manager attention.

A couple of months ago, someone rang my doorbell and explained that with Vista, I would be paying a flat $29 per month for gas, every month. That sounded like a good deal and I signed-up. My next bill came and it was $118!! I realized at that point that what I was promised was a flat-out lie. In fact, as I understand it now, the flat fee was for gas procurement only, but all other charges would remain. Turns out I am not even being charged $29 a month for procurement, but over $41! And this is more than what PG&E would charge! These guys are scammers and I would stay away from them at all cost. Don't believe the good reviews, they must be fake.

Vista Energy is not a scam and I am sorry you feel this way. On March 11, 2019 your account was sent back to the utility prior to going on flow with Vista Energy. I understand your concern and so on your next meter read all charges should show from your utility and not Vista. If you need further assistant please call Vista Energy's customer service department we are here to assist you. Monday thru Friday 7 a.m. until 6 p.m.

One of Visa Energy Marketing came to my flat and told me that their program is built to help people. When I receive my bill, I was charged 29.70 in addition to PE@E regular charge, which made my bill higher than the usual. Please do not sign up unless you asked them about VISTA ENERGY MARKETING LP Gas Procurement chargers; Otherwise, they will charge extra charge. Be careful. I just spoke to their customer service and placed my account on cancellation.

It was advertised on the internet that the rate of Vista Energy was lower. However, they have a dollar a day fee, which was unacceptable to me, so I cancelled with them. Cancelling was pretty simple. Buyer, beware.

Vista was on a website that compared different electric companies and their prices. I tended to get a three-month contract with whoever happens to be the cheapest one and signing up with Vista wasn’t difficult. They have the cheapest rate at the moment so that makes me happy.

I liked Vista Energy's rate. I got the offer and just clicked on it and put my information in and hit “Submit.” It was simple. I’ve gotten a yearly rate that I signed in for. It costs me a dollar a day to keep it, but for as much electricity as I use, it’s worthwhile.

I am a single mother who just moved down to Bakersfield to my first apartment! They knocked on my door; stated they were with my gas company (PG&E) and they were "updating" the system for unlimited gas. Looked at my gas bill and noticed I was paying for a 3rd party gas, called PG&E and they said they do not send people to go knocking on customers doors!!!! I called for my refund and the reps keep saying I agreed! They have a recording of me agreeing. (When the rep that came to my house called another rep and said to agree for the update.) THROUGH THE WHOLE PROCESS THEY NEVER STATED I WAS PAYING FOR A 3rd PARTY GAS, THEY STATED IT WAS AN UPDATE!!! I already pay for gas why would I go and pay another company for gas!! RIDICULOUS! SCAMMM!!! BEWARE!!! LIARS!

Vista Energy's customer service is good. The rate was a little lower than anyone else that I could find. It wasn't as low as what my previous contracts had been, but it is as good as I can find for the time being. The quality of service is fair, although as far as the supplying of electric, it is the same because it is all on the same bill and I don't notice any difference on the bill right now.

The rep from Vista Energy Marketing came to my home and knocked on the door. The guy said the price would be better but it was higher than what I had before. I'm not happy with Vista.

I had Dominion for gas and Ohio Edison for electric. I switched over to Vista as they have cheaper rates. Vista's rep came to my door and he was professional. He pretty much knew about their product and he did a good job. Since switching, it seems that they have lowered my bills a little bit. Also, Vista's service is good.

I switched to Vista due to price and any interactions I've had with their reps have all been electronic. I haven't received an invoice yet so it's a little premature to make any kind of judgement, but everything seems fine so far.

Vista is cheaper in pricing as compared to the other companies I've used in the past. Their service was really good too. Also, the rep who I dealt with was very professional and gave me all the information.

When I got my first bill from Vista Energy, it was totally off the wall as I went from my $113 a month to almost $200 a month. It was a big difference. I knew it was supposed to be a lot lower than what I was paying. I called them to find out what was going on but I was not given any explanation. They told me that if I wanted to get rid of it, it would cost me 75 bucks. I have not yet received my second bill and it will all depend on that if I will keep their services.

A food pantry told us about Vista Energy Marketing. They said it was easier and cheaper than ComEd. The rewards also intrigued us. When you reduce certain things to save your energy, you get rewards through Visa and Mastercard gift cards. Signing up with Vista was very easy. We just got the energy account number and our information. Plus, the rep was really good.

Vista Energy had salespeople going door-to-door in my neighborhood. I don't usually answer the door for these types of calls, but for whatever reason, I did. I am not sure if they had the proper permits to be doing this. The person at my door explained that if I switched to Vista, all I had to pay was $0.99 per day for gas. According to him, if I signed up, I would still receive electricity from PG&E, would now receive gas through Vista, but everything would still be on bill through PG&E. I pressed him for more information -- what basically amounted to $30/mo. for gas would be great, and he noted that it would take the ups and downs of monthly usage out of the equation, I would only have to pay the flat $30/mo. He assured me that it was a real deal and that I could cancel anytime.
I signed up. I called Vista a couple of weeks later, just to clarify that I wasn't locked into anything. I also asked the woman I spoke with several times about the amount I would be paying -- just $30 per month, really? She said yes each time, $0.99 per day, that's all there was to it. Imagine my surprise when I receive my first bill for over $90 (just for gas) from PG&E with my new service provider. Sure, it had a rate of $0.99 per day for usage, but it also included a new "delivery charge" of over $60!
I was/am angry and feel that I was taken advantage of by not receiving certain pieces of information. It really feels like I was duped by a bait and switch scheme. I am also frustrated that I was lied to by both Vista employees that I spoke with -- if not lied to outright, at least lied to by omission. I don't feel that it is right for Vista to employ such shady business practices, and I hope to stop others from getting scammed, also. I did call and cancel service with Vista as soon as I received that first bill, but received no apologies or empathy for what had happened. I feel that they should refund me any money paid above the amount which they promised that I would pay ($30 per month).

I recently switched to Vista but I didn't realize the rate that I was gonna be paying for. I had a dollar per day surcharge. Then conveniently enough, I ended up canceling it 10 minutes after I signed up. It was difficult canceling the service though because I was trying to do it on the same day. The person I spoke to said the application didn't come through yet. But when it does, he'd mark it. Then it went through anyway. I called back and it ended up being the same person. She said that it finally came through and she would cancel it, I didn't have to worry.

A girl from Vista Energy came to my apartment and said the service was cheaper than my previous provider. Since I'm on a fixed income, I'd try anything to get anything cheaper. One of the other girls said she got hers but she didn’t notice the difference in her bill until a month later. Her bill was a dollar and I was going for that. Right there, I signed up with Vista. I signed up last December, but until now, I haven't got a bill. I called in to find out but I haven't got anything. Still, I would recommend Vista Energy to somebody. They were really good.

I really liked the guy and girl from Vista Energy Marketing that came to my door. They were great and signing up for the service was very easy. I've been with Vista for one month now and my bill was considerably lower. I kept my heat around 75 because it was so cold. Generally, that would run me $200 but with Vista, it was only $98. I would like to switch my tenants to them.

I signed up for PPL's standard offer, which looked like a very good deal. However, I was able to search further and find Vista to have a much better deal, so I signed up for Vista. I called PP&L and told them I don't want the standard offer and they said I should call back in three days. So, I called back in three days and told them again that I don't want the standard offer. However, I got a note today that Vista was canceled and I'm with the standard offer. PPL sent them a change request, thus I was switched over.
I've only had Vista for about one day and right now I've been canceled. I look forward to getting electricity from them in the future at the rates that I requested. It's about three cents lower through them than PP&L. I also spoke with Vista today and they were very professional. They put up with me being somewhat frustrated. They said they would reinstate me and I got a confirmation that it's sorted. So hopefully, I will be happier with Vista than I am with PP&L.

Somebody from Vista came by the house and explained what he needed to do. He knew everything and he knew what to say. He offered us lower monthly payment and that prompted us to switch over to them. It has been about three months since we had them and everything in our experience has been positive.

Vista came to the door and made an offer, and I thought I’d give it a try. I was talking to their representatives and the interaction was fine. They came in September, and then they came back again around Christmas time. They told me that I would receive a $25 gift card which I never got. Then they said it wouldn’t be until July. So, I feel like they lied about that.

We have rent houses and a couple of young men from Vista Energy Marketing showed up here and they asked us how many of them we were supplying electricity for. They explained their system, we filled the paperwork out, and they signed us up for all of our rent houses. Signing up wasn’t hard at all because I had my power records right here. The weather right now is cold though and the bill went up but I knew it was gonna do that.

I have had Vista for two years. The first year was fine with fixed rate. However I was not told that the rate would change,I did not receive notice, and the second year it shows up that they have charged me almost 3 time the rate of PG&E. In January PG&E was $0.43/ therm Vista charged me $1.23/ therm. I am out about $1000 for that year. OK, I could have caught it earlier, but I am not the suspicious kind and obviously I am not alone. This is the reason so many people feels ripped off. You'll notice many of these good reviews are from new customers, it's the second year they get us. Take a year if you must, then get out.

A young lady came out and showed me a better rate, so I switched to Vista. I've been with them for three months now and so far, their service has been great. The cost has been consistent and I would tell others to go with them.

I got tired of my bills going up and down so much from my previous provider. So, I switched to Vista Energy and I have them for a couple of months now. Their service has been all right, but I felt kind of persuaded and forced into it. Originally, the people that came to me to get me to switch didn't say I was switching right then and there. They told me that they wanted to see my bills and check my rates so they could get me a better rate. I agreed to that but then I came to find out that I got completely switched. I didn't even know which company I wanted to go with, but I thought I'd see how this would go.
I also explained to Vista's reps what happened and they apologized. But other than that, I'm fairly content right now with Vista. My bills have been pretty fairly the same while when I was with the last company I was with, Illinois Energy, I was being sent two bills. Peoples Gas were still charging me close to 300 a month then Illinois Energy had another kinda of a two on top of that. All in all, I would tell my friends that they should sign up with Vista Energy, too, especially if the rates were extremely high like mine previously were.

I've been with Vivint Energy for a couple of weeks now and they have been okay. However, their rep lied to me about the $100 Visa card. I was supposed to get an email to say if I wanted to do a card or if I wanted to just do the $100 online. I got a letter and when I called, I was told that a card will come in the mail but it would only be 50 and that I won't see it until July. Then, I'll get the other 50 in January which was not what the lady told me when she came to my house.

A representative of Vista Energy came to my door and told me about gift cards. I signed up and a got a letter in the mail. I went to their website and filled out the application. Vista also said that they would send a gift card. Thus far, their program seems good and my bills have been low. However, I still haven't received my gift card.

Vista Energy's prices were cheaper, so I decided to sign up with them. My interactions with their reps have been pretty good and I've been with them for a month now. Things have been okay and it will continue to be that way as long as long as I get my first bill and it's not way more than what it's supposed to be.

The Vista representatives I worked with answered my questions and gave me all the information. They were professional and cordial, and they made me feel comfortable. They were doing their job. Vista supplies the energy to Ameren, and I still pay my bill to Ameren. I haven’t had Vista very long, and I don’t really notice anything because I’m on a payment plan so the bill stays the same. But I looked on my bill. I was told the amount it costs per kilowatt would be better than what I had and I don’t believe it is. Also, they said they were gonna give $100 but it turns out it’s gonna be $50 in six months and $50 after six more months.

I wanted to keep my light bills cheap but my bill with Vista was a couple of bucks higher than the other one I had, and I didn't use a lot of energy. I hope my bills don't get too high. There was also a piece of paper that said that I could call a number to receive a gift card. I had to go online and put something to get a gift card. But the quality of the energy market I have is okay.

You get tired of changing companies and the girl from Vista that was gonna sign me up the first time came and signed me up this time. I told her that I was gonna stay with her and she said that they could be back every year. I told her that was fine. The reps were very friendly and knew what they were talking about. The quality of service has been good and I don’t have any problems. Since having Vista, it has not been as expensive as some of it.

Vista Energy’s rep was very nice. I asked him if I was saving money switching from my previous provider and he said yes, but it doesn’t appear to be that way. It looks like the rates are higher than what I was told I would be saving. From my previous bill, it said I was being charged, $0.599 and with Vista, it's $0.7. I also got something in the mail saying that I needed to activate something for rewards. But when I talked to the man when I signed up, he said I was supposed to get a $100 gift card, and I'm not sure what's going on with that.

I signed up with Vista to supply my gas through PG&E for .99 daily flat rate. When I received my letter of confirmation, it had (buried in the middle of the letter) "fixed daily charge $1.69 per day for unlimited usage for first 12 months. Please note: this rate is higher than the rate confirmed during your enrollment because your historical usage as provided by PG&E was materially higher than our estimate." Never, at any time, did Vista reps mention either verbally or in writing that the rate I signed up for would change, much less an increase of nearly 70%!
When I phoned Vista, the rep stated she could not honor the rate I signed up for and said the marketing reps were simply unaware of the possibility of raised rates. I don't believe ignorance is a valid excuse, as it is the responsibility of Vista management to make sure their employees are well-informed. They offered me an alternative rate of .69 per therm which sounded good, until I realized that the rates listed on my PGE bill included delivery fees that I would still have to pay. After subtracting those, my PGE rate was only .43 per therm. I canceled the contract, but advised the rep that her employer is employing an illegal marketing practice called "bait & switch" by signing people up for one price and then switching to another afterward, and that she is working for a company of questionable integrity.

The reps from Vista Energy were walking around and I looked it up after they left. Everything they said was legit. We did the signing-up in person with the young gentleman. He was still on training but he was very polite. The experience with Vista was great and people should sign up immediately.

With Vista Energy there's control where we can buy our energy from. We don't have to buy from one particular place, which was kinda different. I signed up with them about three weeks ago and it was easy to do. Their rep explained the process to us and he called it in on our phone. We had to answer the questions. The guy was very efficient with his job and the process went really smoothly.

A guy from Vista came to the door and he was pretty nice. He walked me all the way through the process and said their offer was the best to take because it would save me a lot of money on all their extras. He said they would probably be back in six months, and then another six months later. I started service back in November and I haven't paid my first bill yet. I haven't got it yet. I'm still on that security deposit but it seems like everything's okay.

I signed up online. A month before, a door agent said that under unlimiday 99 cents plan, my bill regardless of usage would be fixed for 1 year. Prior to that, I was averaging a PGE gas bill of $60 (ranging from $15 to $140/monthly). So I figured by signing up with this Vista plan my monthly gas bill (regardless of therm usage) would be about $30 plus taxes and some misc "justifiable" charges.
Winter was approaching and my usage would be higher. The timing couldn't be better, right? -- Great savings, added comfort and a lower bill compared to 2017's same period bill of roughly $101. BIG MISTAKE??? To my surprise, my first bill under this program - 11/27 thru 12/24 was $237. (Breakdown - $102 PGE delivery charges PLUS VISTA procurement charges of $135).
I called Vista Customer Service and was told that there was NOTHING they could do about PGE's delivery charges of $102 BUT would review the $135 procurement charges as assigned on the bill detail. They promised to call me back and as of this writing I am awaiting resolution. Now, mistakes can happen, but in fairness to all, I am withholding judgement. Suffice to say, there is a lot of confusion in this deregulated market and Vista Energy is just one of many 3rd party suppliers who have have knocked on my doors with compelling proposals. For sure, there is a need for more disclosure on Vista's website. Something akin to what a new realistic bill would look like under certain scenarios/rates and an explanation of delivery/procurement charges, etc. So here I am. Waiting and hoping for the best.

Rude workers came to my front door at 8:30pm. I told them it was too late to be soliciting but he continued to talk asking question about the who was the head of the household. I told them they were in bed already. He said he needed their name for when he comes back. I told him No so he asked me for my name. I told him No so he said I would be breaking a new law that was passed. If I didn't go with his company. Then he started to get mean and rude. At that point I closed the window and walked away.

The lady who came to my house asked me if I received my gift card and when I told her that I didn’t know what she was talking about, she said that Vista would give one if I sign up. I asked what the catch was and she said there was none and I would even save money. Normally, I push those people away because there are so many scammers. She told me I could it use it for Christmas and I would get $100. I needed help with Christmas money so I did it. She came in and I signed up for everything. The first bill cycle came and I still didn’t receive my gift card. So, I called the company and they said she lied to me. I would get $50 for my electric bill after the first six months of paying on time.
The customer service team said sorry and told me that they would try to find out who she was and make sure she doesn’t do it to anyone else, and that I could cancel if I didn’t want it. It was before I got my first bill with Vista Energy. My normal bill was at $120 and this was $248. I’ve stayed at the same house for two years now, and this is the biggest bill that I’ve ever had. It’s the first month that I’ve been on Vista and I don’t know if I’m getting charged more. I live in a tiny house and $250 is a lot of money especially when it’s normally half of that.
I’m saving only $5 monthly and I was getting charged 15 through my other provider. So, it was a very non-saving kind of month. I don’t know if I’m getting charged more with that and just less as a monthly fee, but it’s not evening out. It’s showing more because I use more electric. I’m gonna have to call them, because right now, with me being lied to and then my bill being bigger, obviously I’m not too happy with Vista because I’ve gotten no benefits. I even emailed them too, because of how unhappy I was but they weren’t doing anything. They were just apologizing to me and they were not fixing a problem.

I switched from BGS to Nordic and then from Nordic to Vista. So, the rates that were promised to me when one of the representatives from Nordic came was not duplicated in the bill. It was higher. So, Vista called me back and said that they would give me a $100 card that I could use for now. It’s gonna be higher but from the next bill onwards, it should be much lower. I’m waiting for the new bill and also waiting to receive the $100 Visa card that I can use to pay them. I’ve been using Vista for thirty days and so far, the service has been good.

Vista has been easy to deal with. They're transparent. I signed up with them online and entered a fixed length of a contract. But I hope Vista could offer people the same or a better deal when the contract’s over rather than forcing them to switch to another company. They already sent me a letter and it’s like all the other companies, they don’t offer me a good deal. So I have to go with somebody else to get a decent price. If Vista could give people a decent price and keep it, then they’d have some loyalty, and people would stay with them, but they don’t do that.

Vista Energy is okay and when signing up, the guy told me to say everything. The guy basically coached me. But I wanted to cancel because they promised me two gift cards, and I never received them. And then, when I tried to call customer service, I didn't get through.

When their sales lady came to our door, she presented herself as a PG&E employee. After talking to her, she tells us she instead is a partner with PG&E and requested to see our bill. That should have been the first clue. After the lies telling us that our bill would be cheaper and REFUSING to leave (I should have called the PD) we agreed to a trial period. Looking at that first bill I was shocked to not only see our gas price go up but found a FEE for THEIR service. Our gas price more than doubled. So we called and cancelled. They assured us they would remove their service on our next billing cycle. I check again, not only was it NOT removed their fee was nearly doubled.

When I was shopping for the price to compare, Vista Energy had a good price. I did the enrollment online and it was a very easy process. I got a immediate letter from Vista and PPL acknowledging that I was changing over for the supplier. The service has been fine and there has been no interruption.

We were using Direct Energy and then somebody came to the door, talking about Vista Energy. She was really nice. She showed me numbers and it seemed like it could be a good switch. We will be paying each month, and for each amount it would be lower than what we are currently paying. The rep told me that it wouldn't be an immediate switch, that when my contract with Direct Energy was up, then it would take into effect.
She said that if I made the switch, I would get $50 and a gift card for doing the switch for AEP, and then $50 and a gift card for switching with Columbia Gas as well. So I was like, "Okay, that's something I could really use right now, especially with the holidays coming up." She said, "Get it quickly." And then I ended up getting a letter that said, "Sign up for a reward, and you can get your $100." I followed all the steps and it's not actually money that you can just spend. It's like rewards with Vista so that was frustrating to find out.

We were using PG&E as our energy provider before, then we switched over to Vista Energy. Vista's cost was more constant. They get their gas from other sources and they could match the lower price and stay where they could. Everything was fine with their staff when we signed up with them. Everybody was very polite. It was just a matter of getting the t’s crossed and the i’s dotted, and answering their questions. So far, the service has been fine in the short period of time that we've been with them. Our experience with Vista has been seamless and I would recommend them.

A Vista rep came to the door and showed me that I would be able to get a lower rate. I was actually busy at the time when she first came. But she was pretty persistent. She ended up coming back and was able to fully explain it to us. She seemed knowledgeable but she said I would receive a gift card. I've signed up with other companies before that have promised some of those things. But I am still yet to receive the gift card from Vista too, and it's been a while now. They didn't give me a specific subject though, so I didn't know who exactly to reach out to. I'm just gonna have to keep an eye out for the mail to see if anything would happen.

There's a single site that lists all of the electric providers available for my area, and with their rates, and every few months to eight years depending on the length of the contract. I go in there and take the lowest price for the term. Between the monthly fee and the rate, Vista Energy worked out the lowest for my put together usage level. For somebody with a high usage like me, their low per unit rate plus the monthly fee works out well. All communications are done online and then conveyed through PPL. They are different from any supplier. It's completely transparent to me.

I had Direct Energy for a year. Then I just got my new bill and it still says FirstEnergy. It actually says Direct Energy. They haven't switched it to Vista Energy yet. The agent that was here lied to me to get me to switch over to Vista. He asked to see the bill and said he could get me lower rates and that I qualified for the gift cards. He said we're getting a hundred-dollar gift card for electric and for the gas, and it would be here by the next day or three business days. He even gave me his direct phone number.
I called the company and my interaction with their customer service was fine. But they said there was no such thing as getting a gift card until after six months and it's only a 50-dollar gift card. I called the agent who was here to ask him what was going on and now, he doesn't answer. The customer service rep that I talked to on the phone got all of my information. She said she was signing me up for the 50 dollar gift card that I'll receive in six months. I'm gonna have to wait and look at the new bill and see if the rates with Vista are lower than that with Direct Energy. I don't think they're gonna be, but I hope they are.

I had Direct Energy, but, for whatever reason, they lied to me and they jacked my rates way up. Then, Vista Energy's rep knocked on my door and offered me a $100 gift card every month. The Vista rep was great and was a really cool person. She just came up and was straightforward about it. She said that she saw that I recently enrolled with another provider and that I was paying a lot. She helped me realize how much more I was really paying. During the enrollment process, they texted me, then I had to accept and put in my phone number. Then they called me for a phone approval and they got me all signed up.
They sent me the stuff in the mail and I had to call and activate for the gift card or the Vista Energy Rewards. As long as I keep them for a year, they will continue sending me the $100 gift card every month. They said that I can use it toward my gas or electric bill every month. I still haven't got it, but I'm at the state minimum now paying the lowest rate that I possibly can set up. I'd tell my friends to sign up with Vista.

PG&E was jumping up and down on me. My gas was high although I don't really use that much gas and I think I was paying more than I have to. So, I started trying Vista to see what's going on and see how they would do. The Vista rep who I interacted with was a nice gentleman. We did the paperwork, and he explained what my bill would be like. He said my bill wouldn't go more than 30 some dollars a month, or it'll be less and that sounded good. He was professional, and that's why I took a chance on him. I liked the deal and hoped it would be like that. But I told him that if this doesn't work out, I might just switch them off and go back to PG&E.

I went through AEP and the guy who helped me with Vista was so nice that I just decided to go with Vista. The rep came the day before Thanksgiving at 7:30 at night. He said it was right at the end of his shift but he was very polite and nice. He also knew about the service through and through. The quality of Vista's service has been excellent.

I switch from one energy provider to another all the time to find the best price. Vista Energy is pretty good. It's cheaper and it works for me very well. I'm very satisfied. I set up my account online. In Pennsylvania, we have a website where we can shop for energy and we just sign up. We simply provide our account number.

I didn’t like my previous provider. I canceled them because they told me they were gonna do the $100 gift card thing but it was a lie. It was the same thing with Vista Energy. They said they were gonna do a $50 gift card, but when I talked to the rep, she didn’t make it very clear to me that the gift card is every six months, so she kinda got me there.
I talked to Vista about it and they said that I won’t receive the gift card until I'm with the company for over six months. The rep told me that I will get the $50 gift card every month and that they’ll send it through the mail. She said the best way to get it is through a prepaid gift card, but when I talked to Vista, another rep said, "I don’t know why she would say something like that. You have to be with the company six months before you get a gift card.” The first rep was good as far as getting me to switch over. She said it was gonna knock off $53 off my bill every month and it was gonna put me down from nine-something to five-something on my kW use, and the same thing with the gas. I’m just waiting to see my next bill to see where I’m going from there.

I have a home that was all electric. Years ago, when we replaced the water heater, my husband said that gas was more effective so we put the gas lines in just for that. I signed up with Vista Energy online and it was easy. I brought up Vista, compared them to other companies, found they were the best deal at the time and then I stayed with them. The water heater went out late Sunday evening. I live in a small town and the only water heater I could find was an electric one. I couldn't wait for hot water, not with my family, so we put the electric water heater back in.
We had the gas shut off because we no longer have anything run by gas. Vista Energy has a $150 disconnect fee, but when I called them about it, they waived the whole fee when they heard the reasons I don't have anything run by gas in my home anymore. It was very nice of them to do that. We have been tinkering around and would like to have a gas stove to cook on instead of electric. I don't see that happening anytime soon, but we'll be back with Vista Energy.

The Vista Energy Marketing rep said the cost was about $1 a day, about $30 a month, which was better than $50 or $60 a month. The young man was definitely a stand-up and was very polite. He had great manners and was a nice guy. He explained that Vista Energy is a little cheaper than the regular companies. He sat down, talked to me, and let me read about it. He showed me on the back of my bill where the PPT was and he really explained it to me. He gave me a good understanding of it and I appreciated that. I would definitely recommend Vista Energy to anybody. I've recommended my sister. I've also recommended my neighbors upstairs and they signed up with the young man too. If somebody says, "Man, this gas bill is just too high," I would tell them that the way to go is Vista Energy and to check it out.

I’ve just started with Vista Energy two months ago, but they seemed good. I chose them because of the price. I picked them for good reasons, so I think that they’re fine. The signing process was very easy and it was all done online. I went for a six months contract and at the end of six months, you get a warning it’s about to expire. If you re-up it, you won’t get the initial advertised new customer rate, but you can stay on it on a different rate. So, I generally just shop around at that point for either staying there or possibly finding somebody else. It's valuable to have that option and to look around.

Dominique, the girl from Vista, was excellent. She came to the house as she was going around door-to-door. They were doing some checking to see if some of the people got their gift cards or not. I told her I didn’t know anything about gift cards. She checked my bill out, and we started talking. Going with Vista might be a little lower pricing for me, and I decided to give it a try and see if it works. Dominique helped me with my brothers too, so she ended up doing two of them. She was very pleasant.

Vista Energy has better cost per watt. When I signed up with them, I went to the State of Pennsylvania’s website and I just followed the stuff. It was easy. This company is very good and the bill was cheaper.

I received a phone call from Vista Energy Marketing stating I was paying way too much in natural gas from PG&E and they could save me money - I bought. One year later I decided to check just how much I was paying Vista and compared that with PG&E rates. PG&E rates are $0.38 cents per therm while Vista current rate was $1.00 per therm. This has proven to me - "NEVER BUY ANYTHING OVER THE PHONE" because if it sounds too good to be true - it probably is not true!

Vista has the fixed pricing for the duration of time that I wanted so I went with them. I also look for things where there's not unreasonable cancellation fees. I waited to the very end of the contract to switch, like the day after the contract ended. However, they called saying I was gonna incur a cancellation fee even though it's one day beyond the contract terms. So that was kind of poor. I looked to see who's got the best rates for the medium duration. I don’t like three months promotional things. If you give six months to a year, that's fine. Try to fix based on the market. However, except for that last bit, Vista Energy has been good.

It’s all about the price for me. I don’t really notice any difference no matter which energy supplier I use. I would go ahead lock in with somebody, but it seems like most of the companies have a three-month or six-month deal rate, and then as soon as that’s up, the price goes up. Since I’ve been with Vista, I've seen that the renewal rates are much higher. The family said Vista is fine but then again, when the price jumps, it’s like, “Ugh.”

I went online and through PAPowerSwitch.com, I picked Vista Energy which has the lowest fixed rate. It was pretty easy. Since I never take a carrier that has a cancellation or monthly fee, I always choose that plan. I also usually do plans at my homes for three-month periods on a fixed date basis.

Very shady business. A man was ringing. I was going to leave it be but he kept on ringing it for about 5 minutes straight so I opened the door and he was saying that it would save money and how to save energy from Peco. He asked for my account number. I gave it to him. He said, "You won’t be charged." Vista has been charging me for 2 months straight. I didn’t see until this month. The first month was $4.32 then the other one was $9.54. I called up Vista saying they can’t refund the money but bring the representative to training so I got heated up because I have to pay for a mess up for a man that made a mistake. Very bad company. I saw the reviews. The same thing is people saying that they got charged extra and the rep didn’t say anything. Wish I could rate 0 stars. Really shady.

I came to know Vista Energy through PAPowerSwitch.com and they have a lower rate. I signed up through the website which was very simple and handled everything for me. Vista Energy's reps were very good to speak with, too. Then, every three to six months, I get on the website and take a look to see which has the best rate. And if Vista Energy still has a good rate, I keep it and look again a little bit down the road. Overall, everything has been great with Vista Energy.

A person came to my door saying they were part of PG&E, showed me a badge that said it was their PG&E badge, told me they were signing me up for a program that would cut my $40 to about $32. I told them I was severely dyslexic and couldn't read their forms. They told me to take my word for it, that all it would do is decrease my bill to about $32 a month and it would only be a $7 cancellation fee total. Well my bill is $94. I had a friend look at the paperwork and it said that I'm in a 3 year contract with a cancelation fee that is going to be about $260. And it turns out they weren't PG&E, they are Vista Energy. On top of it, the form has a very messy signature of my name that I never signed.

PECO is the area company for electric and they have a website set up that you don’t automatically have to default and use them. They show alternate providers and Vista, which was one of many, had a good chunk of time and good rate. The information is collected and you can sort by kilowatt hour, how long your contract is and by early termination fees. The reps were fine and knowledgeable. I called them, gave my information over the phone and got my stuff done. They were easily able to switch me over with no further input from me needed and I appreciated that. Everything was taken care of and I’m happy with what I’m paying and with the service given to me, as far as getting me the product.
Vista was flexible and they were open for me to change providers if needed. They were also accommodating. With people in Pennsylvania again, we have that option that shows different providers and thus compare them to different set of variables. Vista is good and as long as their prices don’t drift too much in comparison to other companies, people should keep an eye out for them.

I've been with PG&E for years, and had heard about the CTA changes and the Gas Aggregation program that was being offered, but I've always been happy with PG&E and their service so I didn't look into it. Then, one day, a guy knocked on my door and started talking a-mile-a-minute and flashing pieces of a PG&E bill that is standard information on everyone's bill, and telling me that by participating in Vista Energy's program with PG&E it would lock me in at a lower therm rate.
The guy was a total hustler. At one point I had to tell him to hold up and slow way down, go through it step by step and in detail... At that point he got quite a bit more cagey and was much less forthcoming with details now that he knew I was paying attention and wasn't just going to sign anything - it was obvious this was a bit of a hustle. In short, PG&E would charge me for delivery, but not for the gas, and Vista would charge me for the gas and not for the delivery - and the gas charge would be at a lower rate. I was skeptical, but I signed up for it. Well, I think I've been had. This time last year I used 15 therms and my total bill from PG&E was averaging about $20.
My most recent bill, which is the first bill with PG&E and Vista Energy, is $50. I was charged $20 by PG&E for gas delivery, then another $30 by Vista just for the gas!! So, at this point, I think I'm locked into something for a particular term. We'll see what my next bill looks like. But if it's anything like this one, you can bet I am canceling my participation in this program by whatever efforts and means necessary, and as soon as possible. Poor customer and sales experience, and an even worse experience afterwards when you receive the bill.

A rep knocked on my door today stating that a bill passed and she was going to help me secure a flat rate of .89 per day for gas. I was very confused and didn’t have a gas bill so she called the number of PG&E to help me get my account number. We got it and then she continued to do stuff casually asking me questions about day to day things. Then she was asking me if I understood what she was doing and I said “no, am I switching to Vista Energy?” And she told me “no, your bill is still through PG&E, we are just making sure you are getting the correct charge of .89 per day.” Umm okay? She kept mentioning some bill that was passed and how it’s her job to help us make sure we get the correct rates.
This all sounded fishy and at this point I just wanted her to leave. We finished and then she said they would be sending a letter. After she left I researched Vista Energy and realized this woman completely lied to me. Flat out. She said whatever she could to get me to sign up. I feel very taken advantage of. I’m really shocked that they target people like that. I know it’s a legit company, but they’re not honest about what they’re doing at all. I quickly called their customer service and cancelled the switch. He said he put a hold on it and if I receive a letter I should call again. I also contacted PG&E asking them not to let them switch me. This is insane! I feel so stupid and misled and forced into this.

When I signed up for Vista Energy service, I did it online. The user-friendliness of their online site was fine and it was no trouble. Although their rate is not cheaper than that of the energy provider I had prior to them, I’m actually saving money. Vista was the cheapest fixed rate that I could lock into when I shopped for the cheapest rate. But my contract with them has run out and their rate is gonna turn into a variable rate. Nevertheless, the overall quality of the service was fine.

Questions I had were answered in professional, respectful way. Differences of Bill's statements between California and New York about delivery charges, gas prices are too high in New York state due to "delivery charges", which my opinion nobody should be charged. Growing up in the 80s, 90s it was unheard of. It's just politics and money.

The first time I enrolled, I got a confirmation on my phone saying that I was all signed up, and then I never got an email or anything in the mail. Vista dropped the ball and never enrolled me. The current provider I had went to the variable rate and jacked up my rates when I thought I changed energy providers. Vista had no record of it, but I had a screenshot saying, "Congratulations. You've started with Vista" at this price, so I was disappointed they didn’t complete that order. When I enrolled the second time, it was all right, but I was told that I would get a $3.99 per kilowatt hour rate and the mail I got said it's $4.25. I'm not a big fan of Vista Energy right now.

My mom is 98 and living on her Social Security check. She had very low money and we tried to do the best we could for her with her situation. We tried to cut corners where we could. The other company was going up and I found something that was a little bit less expensive. I switched her to Vista Energy because of the pricing and when I talked to the customer service reps, everything was fine. They advised me to go ahead and do it a couple of days before the end of the other situation because it would take two days for it to go over to Vista so it was helpful to do it a little bit early.
Vista showed the price for kilowatt hour and it was really low but there was a base charge. I just got hooked up, so I have to wait and see if the pricing is what I understood it to be. The price is guaranteed for three months and there are no fees for coming on and for leaving. I wanna make sure that I’ve got good competitive pricing and I wouldn’t recommend until I know more but it’s great now.

I had a Vista Energy rep come to my house one Saturday and he explained the service as being able to lock in my lower current gas prices before PG&E raised them. He also mentioned free gift cards for signing up with him. He never had me read the contract and kind of rushed me through the signing and authorization part. All in all I thought I was going to get a good deal, but was unpleasantly surprised. He did not mention I would be billed $30 a month for the service. When I noticed this on my bill I called Vista's customer service and was put through to a rep who was unapologetic and unconcerned with the fact that their rep lied to me and misrepresented the service.
I also mentioned the gift card and she said that promotion applies to the $.99 a day plan and I was on the $.89 a day plan. Again no tone of sincerity, empathy, or understanding. Just a very blase attitude and told me more than once "well this is the service you signed for". Needless to say I canceled Vista with the quickness and will not recommend them to anyone and urge others to steer clear of them. As a former customer rep, her attitude and service was appalling, and as a customer it was downright disappointing. If I could leave 0 stars I would.

We switched to Vista Energy due to their competitive price. I signed up with them online, and their website is fairly straightforward. It was easy to enroll with them. We only started October 5th and it goes for three months. It’s a fixed price product, and then it’ll switch to a variable. So, at the end of three months, I’ll be looking around to switch again.

My contract was running out on my last provider and I had the opportunity to switch, so we decided to try Vista out. They were a bit cheaper and I signed up through their website, which was smooth. That's a plus for me because I hate having to make phone calls. I was glad that I could do it all online and they sent me the paperwork saying it went through. However, the switch was moved.

Young girl signed us up stating our gas bill will be lower. Just got our bill and there's an EXTRA charge of $27 from Vista. Plus $9 charge from PGE for gas, which is what we usually are charged from PGE for gas. How is Vista helpful if it's an EXTRA charge? Need to find out how to get off this plan asap!

I shop for power every six months and Vista Energy had a very good competitive rate for my usage profile. I went to papowerswitch.com where I entered my ZIP code, and it showed me all the different options I have in my area. I sorted them by fixed rate and least costs. I gave them my consumption, and Vista was at the top of the list. Vista's cost seems like a good deal. I'd tell others to explore their rate. It is a combination of a fixed payment plus a lower variable rate as opposed to the traditional just variable rate.

I am completely disappointed with this third party gas company. First of all I would like to say the door to door sales representative somehow was able to get my account enrolled without my consent or signature which I am the only one on the PG&E account, needless to say I had no knowledge of this enrollment until I logged on to pay my August 2018 bill. When I called customer service on August 28, 2018, I asked how did they enroll me with this service without my consent and the representative stated that my husband signed me up to save money, which I did not authorize. She said basically anybody 18 yrs old can enroll regardless of being on my account at my resident.
I argued that the head of household would be me and I'm the only one who could authorize any changes to my account and requested that this service be canceled and I would like to have the charges reversed and she said that she would cancel this service but cannot reverse charges for services rendered and that I can collect the money from my husband who originally signed me up. I told her to cancel this service immediately and she said that she would and once again I get billed for another month for September 2018 an additional $23.15.
I called customer service again on September 24, 2018 to find out why was I charged again when this account should have been canceled. She stated that she would cancel this service and that the cancellation will reflect on my next bill in October. I have paid for two months of service for something that I did not sign up for. Only an increased bill. My bill has increased by $25. I am trying to save money during hardship times and then these people come around only to sign me up for service and PGE allowed this to happen. I hope to see this service deleted from my PGE account soon.

This company now has a bunch of young kids targeting customers like myself who are on the PG&E's CARE program, for low income customers. They are in the poorer parts of the Bay Area with binders, and laminated bills, with outrageous claims that we will have "protections" on our bills, and will pay low fixed rates of $2-$4.92 a month. I made the mistake of signing up with one of these programs. And I received my bill in September. Only to find out that Vista Energy Marketing had marked up my bill $30 higher than usual. I struggle enough to pay my bills. This company should be shut down for perpetrating such a cruel scam against people who are struggling!

My contract from my previous electric supplier expired. I was shopping around and there is this little supplier shopping portal run by the by the state where you put in your price range and whether you want a variable contract or not. It’ll come up with all these suppliers who meet the filter criteria, then you can click through their website, see what the actual terms are, and even sign up right from there and see if you need to contact the rep. Vista had a competitive price compared to most of the suppliers in my area, so I went with them. Their cancellation terms are also nice because there is no fee if I have to cancel early for any reason. I've been with Vista for a month now and so far, the quality of their service has been good.

The reps of Vista Energy came by and I was interested in their service because I was paying a little bit too much for PG&E's service. Compared to PG&E, Vista is a lot cheaper and better. Signing up for Vista's service was a lot easier. To get enrolled with Vista, I had to show the reps my current PG&E bill. We didn't get the certificate or the money on the card for paying our bill on time, but other than that it was a good visit that we had with Vista Energy. The representatives were really helpful and very courteous, and they should get a raise.

I switch my energy providers all the time. The website of PA Power Switch lists out all the energy services by rate and they tell consumers what the terms are, whether are for three months or six months, until the rates are changed. I've been picking my energy provider from the website and doing that was simple as long as I had my PP&L account number with me. Most of the time, I signed up for a service contract that had a fixed rate for three or six months just to check it out. It was from this website that I came upon Vista Energy Marketing and I got a couple of emails and a letter from them. My experience in using Vista has been pretty straightforward.

There was only one company that was cheaper than Vista Energy and it was confusing how to sign up for them. So I ended up going with Vista Energy because it was easier. I did everything online. Vista Energy is good. Because of the Lowe’s gift card that they offered me, I went with them. They explained everything well and everything that I needed to know about the energy. Their price is pretty well fair. I leave my aircon on a little longer because it’s hot and they kinda helped me cut my electric down a little bit and it got cheaper on me. I enjoy the service and I would like to continue on with it. If somebody asks about it, I would tell them about it and to get the energy.

Vista Energy posted the rates online and it was 4.3% for three months for the electric range. I read their terms and they could send a letter anytime and then choose a rate. As soon as I signed up for that rate, they sent me the letter and then it went up to 6.5. I called Vista and the rep said that was the rate I agreed to. The rate Vista offered was not drastically above anybody else and they actually matched the whole other offers. But I went back through PA Power Switch and I went to somewhere else because if I'm not going to save any money, then I'll switch to another provider. The process of switching from Vista was very easy and there was no fee.

My previous energy provider jacked up their rates significantly and it didn’t make any sense to continue with them. Using the PA Power Switch application, I've learned about Vista. Signing up with them was quick and the switch to their service worked out well. They look good and they had the best deal for going forward so I took them for a year.

I found Vista Energy online when I looked up competitive prices for electric through Pennsylvania. They were the lowest fixed rate that I could find, and the enrollment process went pretty smoothly. Duke Energy has a comparison website that one can go to and check the different suppliers and their rates. I got Vista Energy thinking it's gonna save me money. Everything has been fine with the Vista representatives I've spoken to over the phone. Their service is fine. However, the way they do the rates is a little bit different than others. One has to dig into it to figure out if it makes sense or not 'cause at first they had the 'a dollar a day' thing. Yet, the actual kilowatt per hour rate is good. I had to do a little bit of math and it worked out for me. So, if you're considering Vista Energy then check them out and see if it works for you.

When it comes to electricity, I’m a price shopper. In Pennsylvania, you can just switch online and you don’t talk to anybody. It’s easy until you get the bill and you get irritated. Some companies have what I call a teaser rate. They would have a low rate to lure people in and then they double the rate without notifying people. I’ve been switching power for many years and they all do that. But then you can just go online, find somebody cheaper then hit go and you’re done. The price changes so you have to keep an eye on your bill. But so far, Vista has been good on that part. I got my bill a little bit lower and I would tell others to check Vista's prices and if they’re low, to go with them.

I switched to Vista a month ago when they were out front in the grocery store and they said that there would be a discount. They also said that I would get a gift card, but I never received it. They said that I had to go online and it would take a week to get the gift card. They asked for a code and I couldn’t find it, so I called them and they said they would email it to me, but they never did. But, other than that, their quality of service has been good so far.

I use a different electric provider every year because in Pennsylvania, I can pick a gas provider which makes the most sense from an economic standpoint. I shop around and eventually, the competitive nature of the power supply in Pennsylvania pays off for me. Now, I switched to Vista and my motivation was financial because there was a standard charge of $30 a month but the kilowatt per hour charge on top of that is half of what I was paying before. So, it will save me money and I can put all the extra money into insulating my house.
I researched online and tried to fit where I wanted to be financially regardless of the company’s service. Some of the marketing was saying that it is a renewable energy but all energies are renewable to the same extent and if the company is able to supply power at a lower cost that is ultimately coming from fewer resources, otherwise, the cost would be higher. It is coming down to the reliable supply of power which is PPL. So, as long as Vista can get the power through PPL and the bill works out the way that I expected to, then I'll stay with them. Vista keeps the power on at our home and that is what I'm paying for. Also, if the pricing model works out for them, they make sure that they have the base number coming through, and they are able to offer reduced rates on the power on top of that, that is what’s gonna keep me with Vista. I’d recommend them.

My previous plan had a rate that was locked in for a number of months. It was coming to the end of that, so I shopped around to see what other new way that I could lock in. I went with Vista Energy Marketing because of their pricing. I enrolled online and it was quick and simple. Plus the service has been good so far. If Vista Energy keeps providing competitive rates, people who are looking after their own interest and shopping around will switch to them.

I am just curious as to how this company charging me so much for gas when I rarely use gas! I was promised I’d be rewarded by paying my bills each month which I have been doing and I have yet to be rewarded but only pay 34 dollar more on every bill. I wish I could understand what is going on because my PG&E bill has been costing me a lot and their bill on top of it isn’t helping me at all!

I got an email from PP&L reminding customers that we have the right to pick our own provider. That was also how I heard of Vista Energy and it was easy to switch over to them. I went online and switched then I got a letter in the mail that it was effective.

I usually change my energy provider every three months and I just look for the cheapest one when my account rolls over. At that time, Vista Energy was the cheapest. It was very simple to sign up online and they sent me a letter saying that everything was on. Everything has been good.

Vista Energy has made my PPL bill on my apartment a lot cheaper. My mom had been wanting to do it for a little while to help out with my electric bill. And when I got with them the first time, it was really nice. The service and their prices are good. I was going into a variable rate with my previous provider. When I looked at the other providers, Vista Energy had the lowest rate and I just signed up with them. I was also at a fixed rate and there were no fees. I haven’t had any problems and anyone looking for a provider should try them.

At first, the service from Vista Energy gave little savings, but the rates started gradually shooting up last year. I noticed it peaked around the holidays. And I talked to them and the rate stayed per agreement for 2 months, but then it shot back up which prompts me to call them back. I told their rep that I wanted to cancel the service and she made me an offer to reduce it back to even lower than what I initially contracted. Their service has been going on for about two years now. I can cancel it anytime, though they’re very adamant about trying to keep my business.

Vista Energy first came to me by the door and said that I could use a reduced rate by going with them. They were professional and kind and the interaction was pleasant. I was with PG&E and Vista was working with PG&E plus they were green so I went with them. I had one conversation with the customer service representatives over the phone and they were very nice and extremely helpful. However, the one thing that Vista didn’t mention was that the reduced rate was just a 12-month discount which I found out when I called the representative for another question. It was slightly deceptive. If I didn’t know that, I didn’t happen to call or I happened to forget then I wouldn't know what the price would be afterwards which might be more than what I was paying PG&E. The rep told me to just ask for the discount again but I don't know the process if I have to call back for that. Other than that, I would recommend Vista Energy.

The sales rep from Vista that came out was convincing and he was very knowledgeable about energy. I showed him my bill and he told me he could save me money. He promised me gift cards, but I never received them. I was also concerned because I never received a bill from Vista, but I guess it automatically stays connected with the same PG&E. Also, when I told them that I didn’t want their service, they put it down even more but I haven’t seen too much of a change.

I’ve only had Vista Energy for two months and it is supposed to be cheaper than the previous provider I used. My interaction with the Vista rep who came to our house was good. They said they would send me a $100 gift certificate but that didn’t happen. I phoned a couple of times about it, and they were just jacking me around.

I turn the light on and it's good. But I was concerned about whether the price is gonna race up after the year like it usually does. Vista is a good and convenient way to save money. They came to my door in November and then we started with them in January. I received two notices from Vista that my account was delinquent. I pay my PG&E bill on time so I called Vista to ask why. They looked at my account and saw that PG&E was not facilitating the payment to them. I called Vista twice and both times were because of the delinquency issue. The rep was able to tell me the root cause of the notice so my experience was good and clear. He was also able to answer my questions and I’ve had nothing but good customer service from Vista. I know two people who are interested in obtaining their service and I wanna recommend them.

One day, somebody walked up to me and told me about Vista Energy Marketing. I liked what it had to offer, but the explanation was shoddy and I got misinformed. Even the salesperson's manager didn't have the right information. I was told I was gonna get $100 in a couple of weeks if I signed up and maintain my bill and then come to find out I'm only gonna get $25 in a year, which was bad. Also, the letter I got in the mail was also a totally different description of what the services actually were. However, I liked the fact that I have options with who I’m gonna deal with and have my rate set at a certain price. The explanation about it was that they buy it from who they get it from and then they change the price on me based on how much they get it for. So now my water heater and my stove are running on gas.

When a lady from Vista Energy told me that my mother was gonna save a lot of money from it, I got it for her. My mother said that there was a difference in the PG&E services which is good. But they were supposed to send her a $100 gift card and it was on Mother’s Day, so it was supposed to be my Mother’s Day gift for her. It was also supposed to be 99 cents a day on the internet and Avast, and she was supposed to get a gift card every month for the next 12 months as long as she made a payment. But my mother never got her gift cards and she has been making payments every month. Apparently, my mother has to make her payments on time that’s why she didn’t get anything and I’m not very happy about it. It was not what I was told on the program and it wasn’t explained to me properly. I referred my brother to them also and he didn't get his gift card too. I was ready to refer other people as well but after knowing that, I wouldn’t refer anybody to them.

The guy who came to my door selling Vista Energy's service asked me for my electricity bill and then he switched my energy provider and put me on Vista without my permission. When I called to ask him why it showed in my bill that Vista is my energy supplier when I never asked him for that, he told me that they had cheaper rates. But the bill I have to pay this month is expensive and it's way up and worse than the company I had before, and I asked them to put me back with my old company. They sent me a balance of $200 for the cancellation with the other company, but I never paid the money because I did not make the transfer. Also, they told me that they took $10 from my bill, but that never happened, so I was not happy with that.

The Vista Energy reps that came to my apartment were referring people to their energy saving program and my neighbors were doing it, which made me feel pretty cool about getting involved with the program. Though it has only been a couple of months, my bill has not been lowered and the price is still over $80. They told me that it was gonna take a while, but it should have kicked in by now. There’s also no difference in the service.

The person who enrolled me told a lie. She told me that she was told that the person who signed up was going to get a $100 in gift cards immediately. When I talked to a person online, he told me that it was a $25 gift card every quarter which was the third month after it started, then the sixth, ninth and into a year. My PG&E bill came just recently and I haven't gotten one from Vista at all even though I got a letter six weeks ago saying it was gonna start. When I got the letter, I followed through with putting in the code, and then I spoke to an individual about the same time, and there was no response from anybody at all.
It wasn’t just miscommunication and that was what the person who enrolled me was told. She was so embarrassed when I told her what happened. She gave me her home phone number and she said she was gonna talk to her supervisor and verify what I said. But she was too embarrassed to call me back. On the other hand, there is another program that is operating in the area. They were treating me very, very well a year ago, and they came back to check on me, and I told them that other people in my neighborhood were complaining about some of their other workers.
The guys were great, but it was getting the person to work for you and telling the truth. They were not honest with the people who are signing up. It was a bad experience for the community people and they will disseminate the information that they were fooled. I'm probably going to leave Vista and I won't be using gas again soon, but at this point, I don’t wanna make any changes for it. I used to do surveys all the time for a reward program and I believe in strict honesty. It doesn’t do any good to lie. Eventually, they’ll get caught up with it if too many people are going through that way.

I had PG&E then I went with Vista Energy. The representatives were very nice, good people and didn’t pressure me. They asked nice questions and told me what I had to know and what would be going on. We also had a couple of neighbors we had talked about it. I was curious and so I'm trying it and I will see how it goes with the bills for the next few months. As soon as I get more billing, I would know how it is and then how it's happening and what's going on. But so far, everything is going smooth and the quality of service has been fine.

Vista Energy Marketing is the only one that has a dollar a day per charge and that’s okay. Their billing structure is different, but their rates are lower. They provided the lowest cost over six months. How they market works out good, and it’s an attractive alternative for the right people. It was all done online, and it was very easy and transparent. It’s satisfactory, but they’ve not done anything to wow me. At the end of my contract, if they can put together a reasonable rate, I will renew.

Like others, a door to door salesman came to my door and touted the benefits of Vista Energy; he was polite and I thought I understood what he was telling me. I was shocked when I received my PG&E bill with an Admin charge of $0.99999 for 33 days, totaling a charge of $32.67 which more than doubled my usual bill. I called and canceled the program on May 21 but received another bill with another Admin charge of $30.69. This was a total rip off for me and I strongly resent being charged over $60 that I can ill afford to pay. I'm very upset over this. Vista Energy did not save me any money whatsoever. It did, in fact, cost me a lot.

Vista Energy was a little bit cheaper compared to other companies. Everything that I did with them was through the computer and via mail. But I got one phone call because I selected a plan that wasn’t available to me because I wasn’t a new customer. They called to explain that and they were very nice on the phone. I'm paying a fair price for the service and I would recommend Vista. If you switched to them, you would get a better deal than what you're currently paying.

Vista Energy came knocking on my door a while back and they told me they sell gas cheaper than PG&E. And if I can get anything cheaper, I'm definitely gonna go with it. But they didn't explain to me the in and outs of what they were doing and how it works. I only heard from Vista one time and that was about two weeks ago. They called me and said I owed them about $200 and I didn't know where that came from. I've never received invoice from them. I told them that I paid my gas bill through PG&E and I kept explaining to the guy that if he could explain to me how these charges came about but he could not do that. The way the whole thing was set up wasn't very good. I'm gonna call and tell them to cancel. If it's less hassle to pay a little bit more through PG&E, I'd rather do that. My experience with Vista was untrustworthy.
