Sairy, was great help. It’s always good to talk to somebody that has the right knowledge in what they are doing. Customer service was definitely a 10/10. I know I didn’t make a mistake using this service provider, maybe rethink to train employees like Sairy is trained. I cannot express how satisfied I am with this call today, thank you!

The customer service agent Rebecca provided excellent customer service when I called. She was very helpful and explain the plan to me. She also offer me a better rate to help me save money. I was going to cancel because I felt I was mislead. I was told joining your service, my bill would be cheaper. Come to find, you were charging me $1.19 per therms while PG&E was charging $.71. You lowered it to $.69’so I’m satisfied. If this did not happened, I would of cancelled service with you but all is good now.

This call was very helpful. Tilly was very prompt and courteous with the customer service. I found it especially helpful that she was able to text me the email address on file to clarify a misspelling in my email that led to not receiving a cancelation request that I submitted earlier this week. I do have autism and sometimes auditory processing and speech challenges make phone calls difficult especially with things like clearly spelling things out so I greatly appreciate the text message method used in this situation, it was especially helpful in this situation.

So I signed up with Vista on the phone and the rep was very professional and very easy with the over the phone enrollment. My questions were answered promptly. It happened quite efficiently and very quickly as well. I signed up with Vista Energy for the quality and the service that I have received has been fine so far. I got a competitive rate. I’ve been with other companies over the past two years and Vista was one of the easiest companies dealing with. That was just very pleasant and nice to deal with and I would recommend it to anyone.

The young man that came to my door stated they are with PG&E, and even had me open my PG&E account to show him my bill, and how if I sign up for the Program, It will help me save money on my PG&E bill. After he left and I received my contract, I realized I was tricked into signing up to some 3rd party energy supplier. After reading all the bad reviews, I'll be canceling that service in the morning.

Customer service helped me understand the requirements for obtaining one and how to activate it. Very helpful. I had received, in the mail a 6-digit activation code. But the website requested a 16 digit code. I was advised to wait for the 3-month period before I get the card. This is why I gave a 5-star review.

I called a few weeks ago about switching back to Vista from another Company which was unsatisfactory. Kathy gave me the information I needed, and that it would take a few weeks for the other company to complete my cancellation. So I called back today and Cathy very quickly switched me back to VISTA energy just as she had said. It only took a few minutes! And I appreciate that I didn’t have to wait on the phone in a long queue…

Initially wanted to leave a bad review due to the door-to-door sales rep misrepresenting the company and lying that she's from PG&E. I was tricked in to the product and decided to cancel the next day after digging around for information. Called customer service line the next day and spoke with Chris. Had no issue cancelling and only took minutes. He didn't push for me to keep the product or explore alternatives and simply went along with what I wanted. Bad experience with the company sales practices but I think at least their customer service is top tier. Will leave another review later after keeping an eye on my bill to make sure no tomfoolery is happening.

Very helpful in explaining the energy program and my savings. Very patient and knowledgeable. The follow-up in getting my program established was quick. One of your sales representatives came to my house failed to disclose that he was a third party for PG&E which is fraud. I called pg&e. I was informed by them you were a third party & they would charge me a fee to use your services. That is why I called you and canceled.

I called Vista Energy in regards to my aunt's account. My aunt lives in a different state that Vista services. Her bill was high so we called to ask questions regarding her account. It turns out the usage for her gas went up.

I spoke with Kathy when I called about my Vista Energy bill. She was absolutely outstanding when it came to her customer service skills. I originally called to cancel my service with Vista when I found out I was paying an extra $29.00 admin charge. Kathy offered me a new service plan that not only gave me a cheaper rate but removed the $29.00 admin charge! As a single father on Social Security that really helped my family A LOT!!!
Kathy is an excellent employee and I hope you all take the time to share this review with her. She deserves a raise and I’m not saying this because of the money she helped me save. She deserves a raise because she listened to me when I shared with her some of the problems I’ve went through in life and that meant A LOT to me. I normally don't bother with searching for a choice gas provider but decided this year I would check around since we are on a tight budget. My hubby suffered a brain injury a couple months ago & we are just starting to get caught back up. Vista was awesome about explaining everything & walking me through how to price match to get the best price for me. It only took 24 hours to get a better rate locked in & made my decision super easy.

Since you did not call into our call center to select a new plan when your fixed rate plan expired, your account remained with Vista Energy on a variable rate plan at a time when gas market rates spiked in the State of California in December and January. I don't know HOW THE HELL this company is still functioning. They run on LIES AND MANIPULATION. If I could shut the company down with a phone call I would. SHAMEFUL AND DISHONEST TACTICS. Truly truly disgusting. I've made sure to blast them across as many platforms as I possibly can because I'm SO disgusted by how blatantly and confidently they lied to multiple multiple multiple people on my property, INCLUDING ME. I'm SO THANKFUL my boyfriend thought it was shady.
The kind of bad business and awful behavior that brings on bad karma. Truly believe your company won't survive this way. VERY CLEAR THEY STILL TRAIN PEOPLE TO LIE. The ** responses to honest and angry reviews like mine about their tactics, saying and I quote that they are "unacceptable" is total **. I was currently on a fixed usage plan. Katherine explained my options. She provided information about a plan to pay for only the amount of gas I used. This plan combined with the utility delivery fee still exceeded my original gas purchase price. I appreciated the information. She then proceeded to cancel my service. The representative that I had today I believe his name was Omar. He was very knowledgeable, provided clear precise information. He was very personable and patient. His description of different plans was just what I needed and help me to make a decision. He provided the customer service that all businesses should provide. A door-to-door salesperson signed me up for the service saying it would lower the energy bill. However, when I reviewed the contract and my current bill I realized that was not accurate. I called the next day to cancel service, and the customer service agent on the phone was very helpful during that process. I appreciated the help they provided when I chose not to use the service.

She was able to explain in detail how the billing Worked, and your cost versus going directly through Pacific gas and electric. I had noticed my cost for natural gas had gone up a couple of months ago, and wondered why. I called in, and Katherine explained that I had been notified in 2019 that my contract was expiring. She did not explain why I was notified three years ago, but my costs went up much later, but offered me a decent rate, so I took it.

Field employees missed represented themselves. They were an affiliate of Comed and/or gas co. and/or prior services co. because our prior alderman was supposed to have band such solicitation in in my ward. I mentioned to these 2 employees if you are not connected to comed & gas co. I would canceled out.

This company does not deserve a star not even to say that it is bad. I cancel this company 2x in the pass, they don't even have any info about that. I cancel again, and the person helping me laughed at me. They said they still charging me one more time because the bill cycle was already done, but to me it does not matter, because they could say that about any day. I had it this company is not good, and no one should use it.

Never received my three months bonus. Called and had it re-shipped. Contact was very helpful. Also had my electric service plan changed. I felt that the one dollar a day was causing me to pay more for my electric service than I ever paid when I was with American Electric Power Company. Your awards after three, nine and fifteen months are not worth the dollar per day fees.

I don't like the way Vista Energy is structured because you sign up for 12 months, then they put you on their highest possible then you have to call to figure out something else. It's also difficult for me to navigate their portal. They should make the account more accessible online and have more information on their website for consumers.

One of their people came to my door and told me about how everything works with them. The rep was a little pushy but when I called and talked to them, the person I talked to seemed pretty nice. It was smooth sailing until I was unsatisfied with them for not contacting me about my contract being up and my rate doubling. I ended up paying almost $1,000 more than I should have on my electricity. I canceled with them.

Vista Energy's service is pretty good. I started an account with them, then I updated my account. I talked to someone at both of those times and never had an issue. The reps are nice. When I updated my account, my contract was up and my rate had gone to a variable rate. At that point, it was very high and would be ever-changing. I wanted to lock in a new rate with Vista Energy for another year or two, and I was able to bring it down and keep it at a constant.

Vista came up to the door and said it would be $30 a month. However, they could explain a little better about PG&E still charging. It's not just gonna be $30 a month straight down. There are other charges that will still be on there. Other than that, we still decided to try it and it seems like it helped.

A door-to-door person came and explained it to me and showed how I could be getting gas cheaper through Vista rather than PG&E, so I signed up. He seemed very knowledgeable and was professional. Our experience has been good. Except for when it's time for my promotional thing to end, it would be nice to get an email or something letting you know that your promotional rate is about to end and you might want to contact them. That would be helpful. But they're easy to work with.

I signed up for my nephew and then I just let it sit until last year, we got solar. They asked me about Vista because they look at your PG&E bill to make sure that you have a system that fits your needs. Vista seemed kind of expensive. So I called them and I said, "I just think I better get out of this whole thing because I'm not even understanding how it's saving me money." The rep said, "Well, you get a procurement charge whether it's us or PG&E." She kind of taught me how to stamp on it and then she ended up lowering the procurement charge. So now I'm a little more proactive.
The rep didn't try to convince me to stay. She was just educating me and then I decided to stay. I had a good experience. But it would have maybe been nice if they had reached out to say, "We just want to make sure you understand how you can best benefit from this." I had to figure it out on my own. But at the same time, everyone needs to be responsible for the choices they make.

I got a new AC installed in the house and I was under the impression that we were still under the unlimited, $1 a day plan. It turned out that I wasn't. So, my bill was almost triple what I thought it was gonna be. I was still getting charged the monthly fee so I figured that I was still under that contract but I wasn't. I reached out to Vista and they said that I was charged this much amount because I was out of the contract. But they can renew it and it'll start at the beginning of the year. Vista should give people more knowledge because I wasn’t told that this had to be renewed every year. And back then, they didn't have more plans available, other than the unlimited, $1 a day kind of deal. But this time around, I did a different one. It's not unlimited anymore but it's cheaper. You only get charged what you use and it's cheaper than the regular gas that's provided by PG&E.

The sales rep that I talked to a couple of years ago was a nice, lovely, young lady. I called Vista Energy a few months back because my program had already expired and I had to re-sign up to get the lower rate. They were able to help me right then and there over the phone. Vista is worth a shot because all you do is pay less money for the energy you're already buying. So you really got nothing to lose.

I found out that I had been paying Vista Energy too much and they re-straightened that out a month ago. They need to get somebody in their office that could send out an email, text, or letter to notify customers that their discount is coming to an end about a month before the renewal. I didn't know that and I ended up paying way too much for the gas for two years. I paid double what I should have been paying and I didn't get any savings.
Compared to PG&E, Vista is pretty bad. It makes it look like they're just hoping you didn’t do it and you pay more. Now that I know, I marked it on my next year's calendar that I would need to renew in December. If they notify their customers, then Vista would be a better deal than PG&E. So far, I've been dissatisfied for two years.

The young man who came to the door seemed like if this was his way of trying to make a living in these tough times, I was gonna help him out a little bit. I trusted the materials he had that indicated how it shouldn't affect my gas costs in a negative way. But I haven't noticed a big difference yet. I've seen some things on the Nextdoor site and I've seen people talk about their gas bills going from $70 to $300. But my most recent bill was about $8 higher than last year at this time, which seemed reasonable to me because December was a pretty cold month and I probably was running the heater a little more than I did last year.

I found Vista Energy on PA Power Switch and they had the cheapest rate. However, getting the service started was difficult. In fact, the way that they handled it was very poor. Because I didn't hear back from them right away, I went and applied to somebody else for the same rate, but for a 12-month term. Then suddenly, Vista Energy approved my account, took over my power supply and I was stuck with their three-month rate which I didn't want. They canceled my other plan that I had signed up for. When I went back to the second company, their rate had gone up. Overall, I probably would never go back to this company.

Something has been bugging me ever since the gentleman from Vista Energy that came to my door gave me the plan. I've asked him before he even gave me the contract if I have anything to pay back to Vista if I was to move. He said I could leave at any time and there wouldn't be any consequences, but I was reading a paper about something that had to do with some of the information that I got and there is a penalty for leaving early. That was even the reason why I had already signed up for it when he answered that question to me.
The other thing that made me kind of cautious was that when he was here, there were several other people with him and afterwards, there's a different name on the paperwork that he had given me. It was one of his companions' names and not his. So, that kind of bothered me for a while. I haven't had a chance to call somebody because I've been working. But since I've misplaced my paperwork, I've been waiting for a call from Vista.
I explained to him the last time before I even took this paper from him that I had been with another company before that came out of the state of Texas and they provided more or less the same system. The only thing was that when they did the contract, they said it was going to be for two years, and I understood that part. The first year went okay. It was the second year that things went sideways. Apparently, my bills got bigger, so I was just wondering if things with Vista were gonna happen the same, and I was told, "No, they weren't."

At first, I asked where the Vista connection was because I didn’t see it on the first bill. The rep said that it takes up to the second bill out. So, I had to wait the month after until I saw it. We got that cleared up and everything was normal. So that was fine. I'm still paying around the same amount and I don’t see a big drop in my bill. I sleep with my lights off but some people sleep with their lights on. They might as well sign up with Vista and continue with it.

I was trying to cancel my former provider. The prices have gotten so high that the PPL is cheaper. So, I was gonna go with PPL but the one that I had before said they couldn't cancel it for a couple months unless I called my PPL and asked them for an accelerated cancellation. I called them and they said there is no such thing. So, they had to go through a bunch of hoops in order to get me onto there. I said, “I'll just go with another, and that will automatically cancel them.” Vista Energy was like the next step up with no cancellation fee. So, even though they're higher than PPL, I decided to go with them for three months unless I find something better, which I doubt if I will with the way things are.
The enrollment process with Vista Energy was simple. It was online. I got the free cancellation offer. I was looking for an email that never came, though. I didn't receive an email that had all the specifications and all that I signed up for. I finally received it in the mail, but I was waiting because I was anxious that it would start before the other one kicked in at a much higher price.

I like the fact that Vista was more environmentally aware. I went ahead and signed up. I wasn't using my gas a lot though. I really did not know what my usage was when I signed up. I ended up calling back and saying I wanted to cancel because I'm really right now only using my gas heater for a pilot light. They made me an offer of $5 a month and that I could still cancel at any time. So, I'm going to stick with that for right now. The lady I spoke with was very nice and helpful.

had Vista and left because after the initial price deal ran out, their price went sky high. It almost doubled the price of our electric bill. I had to go to some place that had a decent price. But I'm back with Vista because they're offering a better rate now.

I had an extremely high bill and I don't know if that was because Vista Energy is a third party. I also have ComEd which is our electric provider so it was like my bill was double. ComEd said I needed to contact Vista because they don't know anything about them. I thought Vista was supposed to bring my rate down. I just paid a $2000 deal. I wanted to cancel Vista.

My previous provider started off good then they doubled my rate as soon my plan ended, which was weird. No other company was charging even close to that amount or even the default. I didn't appreciate that too much and they ended up prompting me to leave them. The majority of the reviews for Vista Energy were good and customers had good experiences. I signed up with them online and it seemed all good. They sent me a mail and confirmed my application. Things have been good so far.

Ms. ** was very helpful when I called to end our contract. She explained that Vista would contact the utility company to have service transferred back to them and it wasn’t necessary for me to make further contact. She was very friendly and business like and is a credit to the company.

I sold my house and so I didn't use any of the gas but then I still got charged every month. Vista Energy wouldn't even work with me. If something happens like that, they should work with the customer a little bit better. But then a contract is a contract. I was pissed when I left them.

I have a contract with Vista Energy for natural gas. There's at least half a dozen gas providers out here that do the same thing. Vista Energy is a fixed monthly payment regardless of usage and I have it on two properties. I had a little issue a month or so ago. My son ended up moving into the second property that I had, and they charged me for exiting the contract. I had two properties, so technically, I didn't exit nothing. I still was a Vista customer. I just had two separate residences. They took care of it, so I've been happy with them. As long as the pricing stays competitive, I don't think I'll change.

I had Vista Energy last year and I was not wanting to change after I find somebody that seems to be doing a good job. And I stayed with them. It's hard to find anybody that does right by anybody anymore but they did what they said they were gonna do. Everything was as they said it would be.

We thought we’d get a better deal with a local company, and dropped Vista. Boy, were we wrong! The local provider’s statement of charges were significantly higher and their description of the service we were paying for a total mystery. You can’t argue about a charge if you have no idea what it’s for. Tiellie, at Vista, took the time to explain the pricing. She was incredibly patient while I fumbled at trying to get her the correct account data.

I called Vista Energy for the specific prices and they were cheaper so I went with them. When I talked to them on the phone, everything was good. But if there are any problems, we still have to go through Tallgrass Energy. Vista's only a provider and Tallgrass is the one that supplies the natural gas.

I love Vista. Vista is cheaper and they care a little bit more. I just signed up for their plan again and I have recommended them to my friends as well. In fact, I have a friend who just bought a trailer. She's trying to get on budget billing and they won't let her do it. I told her to get ahold of this company.

I'm not very happy with Vista at all. I'm locked in at a higher rate than everybody else. I did not know I had three months to figure out who's the lowest of the volume. I was stuck on the 72 cents with Vista because I thought I had to take it right away or lose it all completely. Whoever the person that locked me in knew what he was doing and locked me right away to where I could not get that lower rate that everybody else has. They should let the customer know what's going on instead of just trying to lock the contract right off the bat. I got a two-year contract so after the two years, I'll know better the next time. If Vista is the lowest priced, then I'll take them.

Vista gives me a set rate every single month. They're great. The only problem I had is when they were doing that pick your provider. I told them I didn't wanna change anything that was on my account and they changed it anyway. But they've fixed that. Vista works with people when they need it, especially right now when everybody's laid off and not working.

The gentleman who called me called at a wrong time and he seemed to be a little rough. I didn't like his, “Hurry up, come on. Are you gonna choose or what?” I said, “I gotta call back. I can't do this right now.” That was a little flag, but I let it fly by. Other than that, I called back and Vista Energy has been working great. I like it, because it's a nice amount for each month that I know what I'm paying for.

Vista Energy is really good. I have no complaints. When I tried to upgrade, I spoke with people, and I signed a paper. Hopefully, it went through, but it don’t matter. My bill was $60 this month.

We just moved to Casper, Wyoming and the house we bought already had a contract with Black Hills Energy. When time started coming around to select a new plan, I got a bunch of emails. My wife and I looked them over, and Vista was the one we decided to go with. I compared prices and we saw some other prices better with a different company. However, Vista said to let them know what the pricing was and that they would try to match it and they did. That's why I still went with them. It was also easy to enroll. It was done over the phone. We got a two-year plan at a single rate, so I knew what my bill would be each month instead of being sporadic.
