Knocked on my door and said there was a mistake with my gas bill and that I was being overcharged. Only after showing them my bill and clicking through some forms did I realize that this was not my previous gas provider and that they were trying to sell me something. I guess they technically didn't lie but they also didn't really tell the truth. Canceled by phone immediately after, certainly hope I don't get charged.

How can they tell older seniors they will get a better rate and a good budget plan. I believe they take advantage by saying that.. Because today when I called them to check out what my passing Mom was on I learned that Vista is .96 cents a therm and Nicor is at .28 cents a therm!! The bill was outrageous.. 01/14/2025 guess who I canceled with today. Yup VISTA!! Be warned. They did cancel with me fast.. so they get a 1 star.

The sales rep was a fast talker and misrepresented the rate. He compared their daily rate to PG&Es per therm rate, but he phrased is as, “you are paying $2.30 with them and you would be paying $1.49 with us.” When I got the confirmation call, and Tellie said it was $1.49/day I did some quick math and it meant I would be paying double with Vista. Tellie was very nice and was quick to cancel my contract. All in all, it’s deceptive marketing, but at least canceling was easy.

I had a good experience with Vista's canvassing employees. They are very kind and believe in their company. I had never heard of Vista. I've lived in Fresno practically all my life and was interested in decreasing my PG&E bill. However, when I mentioned this to my son I was told there's a hidden monthly fee. That was not mentioned to me. So for that reason, I had second thoughts. The CSR was naturally curious as to why I changed my mind, but assured me that wasn't a problem. Why is there no information left on a handout, or a flyer, listing the pros in writing, so I could refer to it? That left me unable to prove to myself it was a good service. Also, I was easily persuaded otherwise. My gas bill is $11 to $15 monthly. Your monthly fee would not have help me lower my gas bill and if I hadn't canceled now, I would have been charged a cancelation fee after 30 days. It's ok, no harm, no foul.

Today I spoke with Rebecca to renew my service contract with Vista Energy. The process was very smooth. I was offered the best price available and am glad of that. I have been with Vista more than six years and have never had any problems with the service.

I got better service than I expected. I simply called to find out about the nature of the administrative fee. After I found out about that, I was enrolled in a lower-cost plan which will save me money for the coming year. That was great.

I really appreciate this company. I was just scammed out of almost $500 by Statewise energy. So as of now I want absolutely no 3rd party gas. The lady was very understanding and kind. She offered me other plans but I'm not comfortable using another 3rd party at the moment so she did an early cancelation free of charge.

This company has been harassing tenants and forcing their way into apartments in Clovis California. Beware do not open your door to these people. They lie about their service being mandatory and will do anything they can to harass you into doing business with them. These people deserve prison.

Vista gas went above and beyond to clear up the problems getting Pg&E to acknowledge vista as our gas supplier. Have used them for over a year and made an error in changing to another supplier. Happy to be back with Vista. Thank you Chris and Jackie for your assistance.

Called to cancel but Rebecca was nice enough to fully explain how I could get locked into a lower rate and save money. I ended up keeping my service and locking in the low rate for 12 months. Rebecca also instructed me to call back every 12 months to lock in that low rate. Thank you!

I called Vista to clarify the high charges on my account. Rebecca answered my call and explained what I had signed up for. She looked at my account and made me understand that the terms I signed up for do not actually work for the amount of usage I have. She recommended to change my terms to $0.69 per term for the next 12 months. She explained the usage I have and since it’s a flat rate, I am paying more. Rebecca is very professional and easily understood, her customer service skills are excellent. Thank you Rebecca for being patient to seniors like me.

Well I had a young man come to the door to get me to switch to your company I listened to him and the rate was cheaper. When I was signing the paperwork I didn't notice the 1$ charge per day, my fault. I just don't appreciate being lied to. Anyway, I noticed it afterwards and the nice gentleman on the phone helped me cancel my contract. I wonder how many older, or visually impaired people your company lies to and gets them to change. Glad I caught it.

Door to door salesman came Saturday after call centers were closed. They did not tell me about the monthly service fee. I only noticed after I signed up. Would prefer everything digital up front, with clear messaging of how much my bill is expected to change.

Every week they knock on doors ignoring the signage to not do so. Rude and aggressive sales people. They argue and threatening if you don't listen to them. Bait and switch scam. No solicitation signs at every entry way in the complex. No trespassing signs on the roadway. These criminals don't care. Police come out and chase them away. And the following week a new group of thugs come around. Scammers!

Unfortunately, I’ve had two bad experiences with Vista Energy marketers coming to my apartment complex. These two experiences happened last year and now today, so I called the customer service phone number. I spoke with a woman named Kathy last year, and I got her again today when I called. She is absolutely amazing! The first sales guy signed me up for something that I did not want, and she took care of it immediately and gave me a lower rate. Today two salesman re-signed me up for service, but actually made it like it was a new account which they were not supposed to do. So when I called today and spoke with Kathy again, she took care of it and reported the situation to her superiors. Her Customer Service goes above and beyond and she is very kind and understanding. These five stars are for Kathy and she is honestly the reason why I’m doing this review. Thanks again Kathy!

I never have an issue when I call customer service in regards to my account. I always get the help I need. Today I spoke to an agent who assisted me promptly, in a very professional manner. I wish other companies did not have such a long wait time like Vista, the call was answered right away after I made my language selection.
